<v Speaker 1>He'll be don't be beer, it's the Internet. You're busy. <v Speaker 2>Let's do this for August sixteenth, twenty twenty four. For <v Speaker 2>the next hour or so, let me help you sort <v Speaker 2>through the world of gaming on Games Mornings Live with <v Speaker 2>me Jeff Grubb. Today, Call of Duty is getting smaller <v Speaker 2>and fixing its atrocious menu system, and video game company <v Speaker 2>seem ready to spend money again. But first please join <v Speaker 2>me and welcoming today's co host to Game mess Mornings. <v Speaker 2>It's tomorrow. Who's saying, everybody, dam how are you doing? <v Speaker 3>I am still here, and you know what, I'm struggling sometimes, <v Speaker 3>but we're still hair. You know, I'm severing. Yeah, I <v Speaker 3>recently got a new couch. Okay, I fucking hate it. <v Speaker 1>Okay, that would be a struggle. <v Speaker 3>It hurts every time I look. Hey, I got rid <v Speaker 3>of my old couch, which I loved. It was a <v Speaker 3>reclining couch, but my cats just wrecked the shit out <v Speaker 3>of it and they were starting to eat the fluff <v Speaker 3>from Yeah, so I was like, oh, I'll get a <v Speaker 3>pull out bed style one. It is like sitting on concrete. <v Speaker 3>It is black and I have a white cat. And <v Speaker 3>let me tell you it is every time I look <v Speaker 3>at it hurts my soul a little bit and I <v Speaker 3>can't sit on it. I got it two days ago. <v Speaker 3>I'm considering throwing it away. It costs me quite a <v Speaker 3>lot of money. <v Speaker 2>I mean could could Like where'd you get it from? <v Speaker 2>Like a furniture store, like the grind. <v Speaker 3>So here's the thing, this is a question I was <v Speaker 3>going to ask I got it from the problem is <v Speaker 3>I got I got it from Walmart. I have to <v Speaker 3>get it from Walmart because Walmart is one of the <v Speaker 3>few places that has like this style of like pull <v Speaker 3>out couch that is within the same Yeah, also like <v Speaker 3>with the same kind of like measurements that I need. <v Speaker 1>And so. <v Speaker 3>I think I threw the box away though. That's the <v Speaker 3>issue I'm having, Like can I return it without the box? <v Speaker 3>Is the question. <v Speaker 2>I think that if you were to talk to Walmart. <v Speaker 2>Walmart is pretty liberal with their return policy. <v Speaker 1>If that is the case, I will be returning it, <v Speaker 1>but you might not be able to get your cash back, <v Speaker 1>but you will probably get it either store credit or <v Speaker 1>exchange it. <v Speaker 2>That that's probably gonna happen, especially if you're like if <v Speaker 2>you're like, I really don't think that I really don't <v Speaker 2>like this thing there's it just doesn't work. It wasn't <v Speaker 2>what doesn't work as a couch for me. They'll probably <v Speaker 2>help you, Will they come? Will they come and pick <v Speaker 2>it up? That I have no idea because I I the. <v Speaker 3>Other day I I've told some people about this. I <v Speaker 3>bought a a shelf like a bookcase to replace my <v Speaker 3>current bookcase, which now that I have a small, well <v Speaker 3>shit couch, I can zoom out and you can see <v Speaker 3>most of the bookcase. Can you see hair the shelf <v Speaker 3>that is buckling under of multiple berserk that's like aditions. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, the gravity of the. <v Speaker 3>Gods is crippling this, this bookshelf, and it is it <v Speaker 3>needs a replacement. It's way worse when you see it <v Speaker 3>in person. It's like bending. People come in and they <v Speaker 3>get nervous. I'm having conversations with them and they keep <v Speaker 3>like shiftingly looking at it to be like it's gonna <v Speaker 3>fall down any minute now. <v Speaker 1>But I mean, I hope it happens on content at least. <v Speaker 2>Dam Yeah, I mean, if it's got like ID rather <v Speaker 2>it not happen at all. But if it's gonna happen, <v Speaker 2>if it's gonna buckle, I want it to be on video. <v Speaker 3>I bought one of a shelf to replace it, and <v Speaker 3>it was like a corner shelf so I'd get a <v Speaker 3>little more space out of it. And this is no exaggeration, <v Speaker 3>and I don't feel bad saying this. I don't have <v Speaker 3>a I'm not precious and don't have an ego. I <v Speaker 3>cried trying to put that thing together. I genuinely had <v Speaker 3>a fucking top ten meltdown, like I was. I was <v Speaker 3>in like, you know, tears of frustration. I had that, <v Speaker 3>and it reached the point where I realized it was <v Speaker 3>impossible to build out of the box, like impossible, and <v Speaker 3>you had to like modify it manually, and I just <v Speaker 3>could not do it. I could not do it. And <v Speaker 3>then I had this moment where it was half built, <v Speaker 3>it was mostly built, but completely incorrectly. It would not <v Speaker 3>be it wouldn't be functional. And I went to bed <v Speaker 3>and I sat there in bed seething for like half <v Speaker 3>an hour, and I was like, I just I just <v Speaker 3>can't I can't exist knowing that it's in this apartment. <v Speaker 3>So I went grabbed it, took it like downstairs, and <v Speaker 3>like threw it in Like I was like, get this <v Speaker 3>shit out of me. I think cost like four hundred dollars. <v Speaker 3>It lasted maybe ten minutes, and I. <v Speaker 1>Just so bad on these things to. <v Speaker 3>Infuriated. I cannot express to you how much of a <v Speaker 3>impact building that thing had to me, Like it ruined <v Speaker 3>my day. Like I was watching our kage, my Homeboys <v Speaker 3>playing Elder Ring and it sucked the joy out of that. <v Speaker 3>And like I've it was a level of anger that <v Speaker 3>I've never expressed before. So some people were like, oh <v Speaker 3>my god, is he okay? Like I've never seen this before. <v Speaker 3>So I was like, fucking So, that's that's the issue. <v Speaker 3>I've taken an L on that, right, I'm about to <v Speaker 3>take another L on this. I just need I just <v Speaker 3>need to find a good I think I'm now at <v Speaker 3>the point where it's like I'm not gonna buy a couch. <v Speaker 3>I'm just gonna buy like a reclining chair. <v Speaker 1>Just get like a bunch of bean bags, turning the <v Speaker 1>room into a ball pit. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, fucking yeah, I would love that. I think that'll <v Speaker 3>be better than this couch. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. I think you could squeak out a win here. <v Speaker 2>I think you're gonna be to talk to Walmart, get <v Speaker 2>all figured out, get it, exchange it for a different <v Speaker 2>catch get one you like, and yeah, you come out <v Speaker 2>ahead here. I mean, it's still going to probably put <v Speaker 2>it together. It's gonna be a nightmare. Those things just <v Speaker 2>across the board suck. <v Speaker 3>I'm paying, I'm paying for I'm telling you all. But <v Speaker 3>you know what the worst thing about that shelf was. <v Speaker 1>Hell, yeah, here we go. <v Speaker 3>That shelf is so I'm trying to get a corner shelf. Right, <v Speaker 3>everywhere I went to get a shelf, I would find <v Speaker 3>a corner shelf that was that exact same shelf under <v Speaker 3>a different brand. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, uh huh, it's where I went. <v Speaker 3>It tormented to me, be like, maybe you should try <v Speaker 3>me again, and I'm like, I will. I want to <v Speaker 3>kill whoever designed that show. I want to do it. <v Speaker 1>They kill everyone else who makes corner shelfs, so you should, <v Speaker 1>and I want to. <v Speaker 3>Do it, and I want to do it in front <v Speaker 3>of their family so they can see it happen. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, of course they deserve the truest punishment and their <v Speaker 2>family decives to suffer as well. Yeah, yeah, I think <v Speaker 2>you're gonna get this one out though. <v Speaker 3>We're pulling for you. <v Speaker 2>Let's explain what we do here other than get mad <v Speaker 2>at furniture because I'm aweso mad about it most weekdays, I, <v Speaker 2>Jeff Greb will help piece your gaming life back together. <v Speaker 2>That includes breaking news and maybe even some of our <v Speaker 2>own original reporting. For all these topics, I'll get the <v Speaker 2>input of a bona fide expert who will make me <v Speaker 2>look smart. If you were watching live on twitch welcome, <v Speaker 2>you can always listen to the show later on podcast <v Speaker 2>feeds by searching for Games Mornings, or find the RSS <v Speaker 2>on giant bomb dot com. You can also catch the <v Speaker 2>show later with chapters and timestamps on YouTube. <v Speaker 1>Hello YouTube. <v Speaker 2>All right, we have a lot to get into, so <v Speaker 2>let's start the morning mess with Call of Duty is <v Speaker 2>replacing It's Awful UI before Black Ops six. This is <v Speaker 2>from se Doster at GameSpot. Call of Duty's current user <v Speaker 2>interface isn't very user friendly, with lots of scrolling needed <v Speaker 2>for blocking menus that are often compared to the Hulu <v Speaker 2>streaming app unfavorably, but Activision is changing this. Before the <v Speaker 2>launch of Black Ops six, the publisher announced that a <v Speaker 2>new interface is on the way. It's amazing they have <v Speaker 2>to like kind of announce that they're changing, but they are, <v Speaker 2>and the Call of Duty app will receive updates to <v Speaker 2>the UI that will make navigation easier. The UI overhaul <v Speaker 2>arrives sometime in mid October, but a specific date was <v Speaker 2>not given. For the big change, you, new UI will <v Speaker 2>introduce a call of duty landing zone, where the top <v Speaker 2>content will be visible on one clean page without. <v Speaker 1>Needing to scroll. Just we're at with games now, tam <v Speaker 1>where it's. <v Speaker 3>Like fucking landing zone. <v Speaker 2>Yes, get landing. I'm like kind of like low key <v Speaker 2>excited about this. <v Speaker 3>I will say, like I I know why it happened, <v Speaker 3>and I understand it and I respect it. But destiny <v Speaker 3>has a lot to pay for with the mouse cursor <v Speaker 3>on console games. Yeah, I get it, I get it. <v Speaker 3>I know how difficult it is to make scrolling through <v Speaker 3>menus a thing, but oh my god, since then, the <v Speaker 3>kind of rpgification of UI is perhaps one of the <v Speaker 3>worst things to happen in video game. Like every game <v Speaker 3>has things it's an RPG now, which most of them are, <v Speaker 3>but like going through those systems, like going through those <v Speaker 3>UI menus like it is. I don't want to say <v Speaker 3>the art of UI is dead because it isn't, because <v Speaker 3>games are making it and also like a lot of <v Speaker 3>effort goes even into making those kind of menus, but <v Speaker 3>they're so user unfriendly, and especially in qual of Duty, <v Speaker 3>like fucking it's a one time. <v Speaker 1>Brazy mess. <v Speaker 3>I feel like if I ever ever accidentally end up <v Speaker 3>in Gunsmith in a qual of game, I'm the best <v Speaker 3>way to get out is to uninstalled and reinstall the game. <v Speaker 3>That's how you getting out of that shit. You're stuck <v Speaker 3>making guns for the rest of your life. <v Speaker 2>I think that the thing with Destiny was it's like, <v Speaker 2>people use touchscreens, so we need to make this so <v Speaker 2>people just want to point at the thing. <v Speaker 1>They just want to point at it. That's all they want. <v Speaker 2>And it's like, okay, but this lowest common denominator thinking <v Speaker 2>leads to a situation where it's like, okay, yeah, it <v Speaker 2>functions the way where someone could just point, but you <v Speaker 2>got there by just making everything a little worse, Like <v Speaker 2>that's what you did. And it's it's that really where <v Speaker 2>we should be aiming for with user experience. But whatever Destiny, <v Speaker 2>I can live with Call of Duty. I fucking couldn't. <v Speaker 2>It was terrible. It's a terrible thing to use, and yeah, <v Speaker 2>make improvements there, completely swap that out. It should just <v Speaker 2>be easy to understand what you're opening, what you're playing, <v Speaker 2>and really, I mean that leads to this other story here. <v Speaker 2>Call of Duty file sizes are getting smaller, including Black <v Speaker 2>Ops six. They're also, as part of this, going to <v Speaker 2>give you more options on what you install than ever before. <v Speaker 2>They've done that for a while, but they're going to <v Speaker 2>add even more. This is also from se Doster. Call <v Speaker 2>of Duty is known for having massive file sizes that <v Speaker 2>can eat up a ton of storage, especially on older <v Speaker 2>consoles like PlayStation four, but Activision is changing things. <v Speaker 1>Before the launch of. <v Speaker 2>Black Ops six, players will also have better control over <v Speaker 2>what Call of Duty content they download. A large update <v Speaker 2>is arriving alongside the launch of Modern Warfare three and <v Speaker 2>war Zone Season five reloaded on August twenty first. In <v Speaker 2>addition to the new seasonal content, the update includes a <v Speaker 2>few extra changes meant to shrink the file size, including <v Speaker 2>reorganizing the game's files, separating war Zones from the default <v Speaker 2>download for annual titles, and implementing new texture streaming tech. <v Speaker 2>With this new update and effect, players will only be <v Speaker 2>it will only be downloading the annual Call of Duty <v Speaker 2>titles they purchase, and war Zone will be a separate <v Speaker 2>download that they can choose to opt in and download <v Speaker 2>at that time. Alternatively, they can separately download it at <v Speaker 2>any time. Activision says flexibility and choice matter. We want <v Speaker 2>to give players the choice to download each Call of Duty, <v Speaker 2>including Call of Duty, Warzone Win and how they wish. <v Speaker 2>What a novel concept, Tam, I can't believe we're here <v Speaker 2>where we can choose what we download. <v Speaker 3>It's crazy. Every time a company I'm not saying this <v Speaker 3>is Activision isn't the only one that does this. Everyone <v Speaker 3>does this, major companies. I love it when they say <v Speaker 3>we have decided to make it easier for you to <v Speaker 3>download games, you know, choices matter. It's like, yeah, they've <v Speaker 3>Matt always, Why did you suddenly realize this is How <v Speaker 3>did you suddenly discover you know that choice is a <v Speaker 3>matter fucking what? You're right? I mean, good for them <v Speaker 3>for making it happen, because cold on any system is like, <v Speaker 3>oh god, this is thinking this thing is enough, three <v Speaker 3>hundred gigabytes of everything. <v Speaker 2>It's just like crazy, Yeah, and uh, you know, so <v Speaker 2>they're gonna give you more options, but then also they're <v Speaker 2>trying to shrink the size of the things themselves. One <v Speaker 2>of those things here is streaming tech to stream in textures. <v Speaker 2>You know, they have an explanation of how that works. <v Speaker 2>I don't fully understand it, and they say something like <v Speaker 2>to see here this. Yes, the smaller file file sizes <v Speaker 2>also come from Call of Duty expanding its usage of <v Speaker 2>texture streaming. The publisher explains by saying, with these capabilities, <v Speaker 2>we can cycle content that isn't less frequently used by <v Speaker 2>players to a streaming cache, avoiding the need to download <v Speaker 2>it directly to your device's storage. Going forward, more content <v Speaker 2>will be included in this cash as. <v Speaker 3>Part of as part of my new do make nothing <v Speaker 3>but mischief on Fridays. Yes, please, this is why I do. <v Speaker 3>I think I'm gonna start just making conspiracies up like <v Speaker 3>this because everyone seems to be doing it. So here's <v Speaker 3>my conspiracy for Call of Duty file sizes. Activision only <v Speaker 3>wants you to play Call of Duty. That's how they <v Speaker 3>improve their numbers and metrics. What they're doing is they're <v Speaker 3>making the file size so big that you cannot download <v Speaker 3>any other games because the entire entirety of your hard <v Speaker 3>drive is taken off by Call of Duty. <v Speaker 2>I'm everyone finally said it. Someone finally said it. I mean, <v Speaker 2>if it's not right, it feels right, it feels right. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean compelling case being made for it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you can tell you studied law. <v Speaker 3>I was very in the conspiracy theories when I was younger. <v Speaker 3>I know everyone's like I love conspiracy no, but like <v Speaker 3>I was, I loved conspiracy theories. I was like in <v Speaker 3>deep trying to figure this stuff out. Not like I <v Speaker 3>believe them, It's like I found them as like, yes <v Speaker 3>there are pieces. Let me tell you. I am afraid <v Speaker 3>to admit the amount of hours I've watched Alex Jones <v Speaker 3>for It's just been like this is comedy for me. <v Speaker 3>Oh yeah. <v Speaker 2>When I used to work as a delivery driver, I <v Speaker 2>would listen to the people like him and Glenn Beck and. <v Speaker 1>Just be like, oh my god, Like what are these <v Speaker 1>people thinking? How do they get there? <v Speaker 3>I couldn't. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it was a hate listen. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>The streaming tech people are in chat are assuming it <v Speaker 2>means cloud streaming, not downloading it to your device. Sounds <v Speaker 2>like cloud streaming to me, because it's like we're not <v Speaker 2>gonna download, We're gonna put it in a cash But <v Speaker 2>there is like streaming texture tech that is involves like <v Speaker 2>streaming it from something, but if it's not downloaded to <v Speaker 2>your device. I don't know what that would be from, <v Speaker 2>because if you download it digitally, that's how it would <v Speaker 2>have to work. So and then if it's from a disc, <v Speaker 2>you still have to install that on your heart on <v Speaker 2>your heart drive or ssd uh. So yeah, I'm not <v Speaker 2>fully sure. It sounds like they're saying streaming textures from <v Speaker 2>the cloud for less used textures. I don't know that, <v Speaker 2>you know, that's something that they will see how that <v Speaker 2>works and how that functions. They've definitely been doing that <v Speaker 2>kind of stuff for a while though, so probably is <v Speaker 2>at a point where they feel more comfortable using it <v Speaker 2>in certain certain circum circumstances. We'll see any excitement for <v Speaker 2>like six as a whole. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, Yes, this is the first call of duty that <v Speaker 3>I in a long time that I'm like actively excited <v Speaker 3>about kind of perconnecting for a little Yeah. Yeah, I <v Speaker 3>I I everything I've seen. I like the omnidirectional stuff <v Speaker 3>that they're putting in. Yeah, it feels like this is <v Speaker 3>something that should have happened ages ago. But it's also <v Speaker 3>something that I don't believe a lot of first person <v Speaker 3>shooters that have like a multiplayer component like this have <v Speaker 3>like explain what that is. <v Speaker 1>How it works for people, because I mean, I'm like vague. <v Speaker 3>So I am I am going to butcher it to <v Speaker 3>some degree because it's a very technical thing. But the <v Speaker 3>leap from uh, the previous call of duties to this <v Speaker 3>is basically instead of having cardinal directions like forward, back, left, right, <v Speaker 3>and then like the diagonals in between as a movement option, <v Speaker 3>and then not having anything to elegantly move you between them, <v Speaker 3>they have now basically put in a system where there's <v Speaker 3>animations for every kind of movement. I think that I <v Speaker 3>liken it too. Is the way snake moves in metal <v Speaker 3>Get Solid five. You see how smoothly he will like <v Speaker 3>get on the floor, turn around, get up, like kind <v Speaker 3>of shuffle back. That kind of thing they have that <v Speaker 3>I think. I think it's similar to like the way <v Speaker 3>remember when Max Pain where he jumped on the floor <v Speaker 3>and he'd like carry it. It wasn't like over, you <v Speaker 3>didn't have to like wait for him to stand up. <v Speaker 3>He'd like grab something, spin around, that kind of stuff. <v Speaker 3>It's that kind of approach to it, but it means <v Speaker 3>that movement feels a little more fluid. And I think <v Speaker 3>they've also added like a smart movement system in it <v Speaker 3>as well, where it's like it knows what you're trying <v Speaker 3>to do and and we'll just do that for you, <v Speaker 3>so you don't have to like micromanager or something like <v Speaker 3>by Wire. Sure, yeah, exactly. <v Speaker 1>I think more games should try to be like Metal <v Speaker 1>Gear Solid five and at least how they play, so. <v Speaker 3>I kind of I think is one of the best <v Speaker 3>playing games all time. <v Speaker 2>And I think we're at a point where a lot <v Speaker 2>of people are a lot of developers are also like, <v Speaker 2>find we agree, and we are doing that. <v Speaker 3>So I always keep mel Gear on my on my consoles. <v Speaker 1>Kind of my Steam deck. Since I got my Steam Deck. <v Speaker 3>I turn it on and just run. I'm just run <v Speaker 3>in the running animation and the kind of like the <v Speaker 3>sound and having like d dog next to you. It's <v Speaker 3>like so therapeutic just running places. Yep, like the swishing <v Speaker 3>of his like material of his Yeah. Do you think <v Speaker 3>that was Keifa making the noise? <v Speaker 1>I do not think. <v Speaker 3>Do you think they got him in the studio like <v Speaker 3>mister jack boo, we need you to do. <v Speaker 1>This, A very little chance he did. <v Speaker 2>The grunts, yes, yeah, I think the barks were probably <v Speaker 2>or the you know, verbalizations or whatever. <v Speaker 3>And then they were like, mister Kifa, we need you to <v Speaker 3>do the same for the dog. <v Speaker 2>He would do that, He would love that. All right, <v Speaker 2>let's move along here. Iron Galaxy co CEO Adam Boyce <v Speaker 2>steps down after eight years. This is from Jordan Fragan <v Speaker 2>at Game Speed. Adam Boys, the co CEO of Iron Galaxy, <v Speaker 2>has announced plans to step down from his position at <v Speaker 2>the Rumble Verse developer. Boys became CEO of Iron Galaxy <v Speaker 2>in June twenty sixteen after holding leadership positions at PlayStation Capcom, <v Speaker 2>Midway and Midway Games. A lot of this audience is <v Speaker 2>going to know Adam Boys obviously, but if you're listening, <v Speaker 2>you don't know who Adam Boys is. Remember that PlayStation <v Speaker 2>ad that they made during E three, whether like they <v Speaker 2>with shoe Hey Yoshida where they showed how to share <v Speaker 2>a game and they just handed a game to one another. <v Speaker 2>That was Boys and shoe Hey Yoshida. With Boys's departure, Blasco, <v Speaker 2>who is previously has worked at the company for some time, <v Speaker 2>Chelsea Blacks Oblasco, she will take over responsibilities serving as <v Speaker 2>Iron Galaxy's sole CEO. She has recently been the co <v Speaker 2>CEO alongside Boys during Boys's ted tenure, Iron Galaxy shipped <v Speaker 2>several titles, including its original ip Rubble Verse. In recent years, <v Speaker 2>the studio has expanded. It's worked for hire and co <v Speaker 2>development business for top gaming franchises such as Fortnite, Overwatch, Fallout, Apex, Legends, <v Speaker 2>and The Last of Us. In addition to Blasco, Iron <v Speaker 2>Galaxy will still have its founder, Dave Lang, unfortunately serving <v Speaker 2>in a leadership role at the studio. Boys thanked both <v Speaker 2>Lang and Blasco in the blog post announcing his departure. <v Speaker 1>Boys will stay on with. <v Speaker 2>Iron Galaxy through the end of twenty twenty four, while <v Speaker 2>he did not share details on his plan going forward, <v Speaker 2>as clear he is not moving on from gaming. As <v Speaker 2>for what's next, I'll talk about that later. The most <v Speaker 2>I could say right now is that an industry that <v Speaker 2>I love is suffering. My new inspirations are to find <v Speaker 2>ways to help people who make games solve their biggest problems. <v Speaker 2>But that is a story for another time, said Boys. <v Speaker 2>Creating video games is a passionate endeavor for a passionate people, <v Speaker 2>and our industry needs help more than ever before. You <v Speaker 2>haven't heard the last of me in the year, neither <v Speaker 2>has ig, he said. <v Speaker 3>Very threatening. <v Speaker 1>Exactly. I'm scared a little bit. <v Speaker 3>I take issue with Iron Galaxy being described as the <v Speaker 3>rumblest develop us. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean I wish they were described that way, <v Speaker 2>but now it's like a shame. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, because it's Listen, put some respect to nine Galaxy's name. <v Speaker 3>They made street Fire three, he said, Strike Online Edition. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's good. That's a good badge of honor as well. <v Speaker 2>Listen, Rumble Verse deserved so much better than it got <v Speaker 2>being locked onto Epic Games did that thing no favors <v Speaker 2>on PC, and now it paid the price of it <v Speaker 2>evaporated from the earth because of that. <v Speaker 3>So and also nobody could play it because Cole of <v Speaker 3>Duty took up all their hard drive space. <v Speaker 1>Right shit. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and they do work on a ton of stuff. <v Speaker 2>They are co developers on a lot of games. But yeah, <v Speaker 2>Iron Galaxy is going to continue doing that work. <v Speaker 1>Adam Boys. One time, I've told the story a bunch <v Speaker 1>of I'll just tell it again since this is kind <v Speaker 1>of related to that. The one time I fell for <v Speaker 1>an April Fool's joke that showed up in my email <v Speaker 1>account was Adam Boys is going to be the new <v Speaker 1>CEO of Electronic Arts, and I. <v Speaker 2>Wrote that story quickly at like ten pm one night <v Speaker 2>on March thirty first, and very quickly realized I had <v Speaker 2>been had. <v Speaker 3>I like, I like that you it's kind of nice <v Speaker 3>that you thought he has it in him to do that. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>I was confidence in him. You're like, of course, Adam Boys, <v Speaker 3>look at this guy. Yeah, he's got the he's got <v Speaker 3>the ability to do that. <v Speaker 1>Yep. <v Speaker 2>I just I just assumed, and uh, I believe that <v Speaker 2>that's what's happening. <v Speaker 1>Now, get out of here. Andrew Wilson, New News, CEO <v Speaker 1>of Electronic Arts Adam Boys, I was just early. The <v Speaker 1>prophecy has been fulfilled. I don't know. <v Speaker 2>I mean, if you are someone in his position and <v Speaker 2>you're looking around saying, I want to do stuff to <v Speaker 2>help people in gaming, like, what options are there? <v Speaker 1>Do you think? <v Speaker 3>Dam I think I think there are loads of I <v Speaker 3>know multiple people like that now work not now, but <v Speaker 3>like are in a place where their job is to <v Speaker 3>help secure funding, like help secure funding and also some <v Speaker 3>level of like helping people figure out scalability and in <v Speaker 3>their projects and coming in as like advisors on that <v Speaker 3>kind of stuff. So I want to be surprised if <v Speaker 3>either he joins someone a company that is already doing <v Speaker 3>that or sets something up on his own to do that. <v Speaker 3>And it's a very very valuable thing right now. People <v Speaker 3>need help getting funding and people need to keep someone <v Speaker 3>to make sure that they're not going off the rails <v Speaker 3>on anything, and also like sanity check them to be like, hey, <v Speaker 3>is this a good idea to like, is this viable? <v Speaker 3>And can can you help us like make sure that <v Speaker 3>we don't destroy ourselves in doing it. So if he does, <v Speaker 3>I like he he's got a lot of experience in <v Speaker 3>the industry. He seems like he's very well positioned to <v Speaker 3>do that. So I want to be surprised if he <v Speaker 3>did something like that. But I am just guessing based <v Speaker 3>on a quote that he's put out there. He could be, <v Speaker 3>you know, setting up a studio called Aluminium Solar System and. <v Speaker 1>Let's take clients. <v Speaker 3>Barry Dave Lang exactly. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I I helped a. <v Speaker 2>Couple of Adam boys at a boys Stories real quick <v Speaker 2>one that he told one that it does involve me. <v Speaker 2>The first one he told was back when he was <v Speaker 2>working at Midway in Midway Sports and they're working on <v Speaker 2>a bunch of games. They were making Blitz the league <v Speaker 2>and their whole thing was the NFL wouldn't let them <v Speaker 2>work use the license anymore, so all over their studio <v Speaker 2>they would just have screw the NFL and f the <v Speaker 2>NFL and and all this stuff just on banners all <v Speaker 2>over the student And it was like, Okay, that's fine <v Speaker 2>because it's us. But then like some people from the <v Speaker 2>NFL came to visit the studio because maybe they were <v Speaker 2>going to change their mind so that they had to <v Speaker 2>rush around and take all these things down or something <v Speaker 2>like that. It's like, that's incredible. And then at Summer <v Speaker 2>Game Fest this year, I was I was getting ready <v Speaker 2>to do one of the show, one of the night shows, <v Speaker 2>and I think it was actually in the middle of <v Speaker 2>one of the night shows, and I checked my phone <v Speaker 2>and I had a message a DM from Adam Boyce saying, <v Speaker 2>is there any way I can get on the show? <v Speaker 2>I don't want John Drake to break my record for <v Speaker 2>the most times being on the Giant Bomb couch. And <v Speaker 2>I'm like, okay, yeah, absolutely. He's like, well, I'm in Chicago. <v Speaker 2>But I was like, what am I supposed to do <v Speaker 2>with this. I'm like, I don't know. Talk to Jen. <v Speaker 2>Maybe he'll patch you in. I guess but that. <v Speaker 1>No, that didn't end up happening, that we'd been too complicated, <v Speaker 1>So we'll see. <v Speaker 2>I will try to get At and boys on the <v Speaker 2>couch next time, everybody, so he can maintain he is <v Speaker 2>right now tied with John Drake for the most appearances <v Speaker 2>on the couch. <v Speaker 1>So we'll see, all right. <v Speaker 2>Next story, Act Division issues cease and desist to Modern <v Speaker 2>Warfare Remastered mod that shot it back up the Steam charts. <v Speaker 2>This is from Chris going In at VGC. The creators <v Speaker 2>of an eagerly anticipated mod for Call of Duty Modern <v Speaker 2>Warfare Remastered says say they've been asked to cancel it <v Speaker 2>by Activision. The h TWOM is a mod for Modern <v Speaker 2>Warfare Remaster that was set to be released on Friday <v Speaker 2>and promised a refresh take on the multiplayer portion of <v Speaker 2>the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare two. The mod <v Speaker 2>was set to feature over fifty maps and would also <v Speaker 2>include an updated progression system, as well as new attachments <v Speaker 2>and camos that weren't featured in the original game. Modern <v Speaker 2>Warfare two's original suite of kill streaks were also being <v Speaker 2>included as part of the mod. However, in a short <v Speaker 2>statement posted to Twitter just five hours after posting a <v Speaker 2>trailer hyping up its release, the mod's creators have announced <v Speaker 2>that the release has been canceled. Today, our team members <v Speaker 2>received a cease and desist order on behalf of Activision <v Speaker 2>Publishing in relation to the H two M mod project. <v Speaker 2>It wrote, we are complying with disorder and shutting down <v Speaker 2>all operations. <v Speaker 1>Immediately and permanently. Of course, the Activision waited until after the <v Speaker 1>sales bump to do that, But. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this, uh, I mean this sucks. But also I <v Speaker 2>mean we we get what's happening here, right, But. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, this is a risk that you take every single time. <v Speaker 1>It just stands so much work. You could just tell <v Speaker 1>how much. <v Speaker 3>This but like, yeah's and it's a you know, passion <v Speaker 3>project for a bunch of people. But like it was, <v Speaker 3>it was bound to happen, man. <v Speaker 1>But also it's like Activision was getting those on this, <v Speaker 1>the game was selling. <v Speaker 2>More copies because of it, and the people doing this <v Speaker 2>work were not making money from selling this thing directly. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, it's just this from a legal perspective, there's <v Speaker 3>so many angles into into the into it, and so <v Speaker 3>many like potential land minds that this even when a <v Speaker 3>company is benefiting from it, Yep, it can. It can <v Speaker 3>be a future proofing thing where it's just like to <v Speaker 3>make sure that we don't, you know, open ourselves up <v Speaker 3>to anything. We just have to nuke this thing and <v Speaker 3>like take the l on any sort of like bump <v Speaker 3>that way getting out of it. Yep. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, if you were Let's say you had a friend <v Speaker 2>come to you and say, I am making one of <v Speaker 2>these things which I want to I wanted to be out. <v Speaker 2>There is there a way to like sneak it out? <v Speaker 2>Should I just be quiet? Should I just like kind <v Speaker 2>of like share it with friends and let it spread quietly? <v Speaker 2>How much could they get away with before they draw attention? <v Speaker 2>In these lawyers at these companies. <v Speaker 3>I think it's like I would ask you what game <v Speaker 3>is it? Yeah, and if it's like a what company <v Speaker 3>is publishing that? And what company developed it? And usually <v Speaker 3>you can tell he probably shouldn't do that. Like if <v Speaker 3>they come up and they're like, I'm making nude model <v Speaker 3>for Super Mario Galaxy, I'll be like, just send that <v Speaker 3>to me and no one else. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that sounds about right, you know. Yeah, you know <v Speaker 1>when I lock come over to the USB stick later. <v Speaker 2>Exactly, I uh, there's no way around this, these companies <v Speaker 2>are going to mostly keep being in this way. There <v Speaker 2>are companies that are more open to mods obviously, but <v Speaker 2>this one is almost directly in competition with the thing <v Speaker 2>that like, that's I think, really what this is all <v Speaker 2>about is. <v Speaker 3>You're competing for hard drift space and as we know, <v Speaker 3>that's what's. <v Speaker 2>So precious, So the most precious resource to activision. Honestly, <v Speaker 2>what if it was like a bigger install and actors <v Speaker 2>it was just so jealous. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, they were like that's too big, we need we <v Speaker 3>need to. <v Speaker 2>Ah, yeah, I wish there was a world in which <v Speaker 2>something like this was possible. There's a world we live in, <v Speaker 2>the world where a lot of mods fall out. You know, <v Speaker 2>London did come out, but people got mad at that <v Speaker 2>for not like acknowledging it. <v Speaker 1>It's like, oh no, they definitely can't do that. I <v Speaker 1>mean that is that does become a trademark issue at <v Speaker 1>that point. <v Speaker 3>BUTESA has a history of allowing people to mod stuff, <v Speaker 3>so it makes perfect sense. So if someone was making <v Speaker 3>a mud for ampathetic game, you got a good chance <v Speaker 3>of being absolutely fine. Yep. And also, like you look <v Speaker 3>at a company like from Software where it's like their <v Speaker 3>PC you know, output is increased recently, but also for <v Speaker 3>the longest time, they had no idea what the hell <v Speaker 3>was going on with PC. Like the original Dog Cells <v Speaker 3>came out and it was a catastrophe, so people modded <v Speaker 3>the shit out of it, and like people have been <v Speaker 3>making new like additional DLCs style or like overhoulds of <v Speaker 3>the game, and from this it's just like, yeah, good luck, <v Speaker 3>and so like that kind of company is like, Okay, <v Speaker 3>go for it. But Activision, you know, is like you're <v Speaker 3>basically trying to put out a new version of Mickey <v Speaker 3>Mouse and Disney's not going to allow that, right, Like <v Speaker 3>it's not happening. They're mad about this. Don't do it. <v Speaker 2>And even like we could see the direction based on <v Speaker 2>the earlier stories of where Call of Duty is headed <v Speaker 2>and has been for a while now. It is one <v Speaker 2>launcher that has all the games in there, and they <v Speaker 2>want a slot that was reserved for maybe Modern Warfare <v Speaker 2>two's multiplayer. The original multiplayer comes back and gets some <v Speaker 2>improvements or whatever, and they want that to be inside <v Speaker 2>their launcher. There's even a world in which they have <v Speaker 2>a platform similar to what happens with Blocks and Fortnite's <v Speaker 2>like you know, the the unreal engine in Fortnite stuff <v Speaker 2>where it's like you can do this, we have to <v Speaker 2>do it inside of our ecosystem and make it part <v Speaker 2>of like the channels you're selecting from our user generated <v Speaker 2>content store, so that they can all be controlled by us, <v Speaker 2>and they might be I've got a lot of that <v Speaker 2>stuff is under consideration at Activision for for this this <v Speaker 2>this game. It's probably not gonna happen anytime in the <v Speaker 2>next year, but it's something that could be on a <v Speaker 2>roadmap for the next five years. And while they're considering <v Speaker 2>that stuff like this is like just it could like <v Speaker 2>like you said, future proofing, it could grow into a <v Speaker 2>problem where people say, why would we ever do the <v Speaker 2>limited version inside of your content store when these people <v Speaker 2>have done all this work and made it perfect and <v Speaker 2>are supporting it and making it better and it's free, <v Speaker 2>and uh, you know it's free, you know as a <v Speaker 2>mod to Modern Warfare remastered. Yeah, they want to avoid <v Speaker 2>all of that, and so it's about business. And then <v Speaker 2>the lawyers are also like, and we have all the <v Speaker 2>legal rights in the world to do this, so we're <v Speaker 2>going to do it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, say, it's unfortunate because probably years of work from <v Speaker 3>this team, and they like, they did it for the <v Speaker 3>love of modern warfare. Yep, you know, and they're basically being. <v Speaker 1>I wanted to play this for real bad. I was <v Speaker 1>really looking forward to this. Yeah, I mean about doing <v Speaker 1>a T and T with it and stuff like, Yeah, it's. <v Speaker 3>Maybe they can, maybe they can accident the somehow it <v Speaker 3>can accidentally appeared on a bit time. <v Speaker 1>Yep. That's I'm kind of hoping for that. <v Speaker 2>It's like, but you know, this thing definitely would have <v Speaker 2>been benefited from a ton of people playing, and just like, <v Speaker 2>you know, doing that will make it much smaller. Hopefully <v Speaker 2>enough people to fill in matches and stuff like that <v Speaker 2>can still get their hands on it. <v Speaker 1>And I don't care. <v Speaker 3>I don't care. <v Speaker 2>I don't care if you hear me say that. Activision <v Speaker 2>people should get to play this. A lot of people <v Speaker 2>did work. All Right, We're gonna take a quick break <v Speaker 2>when we get back. Plenty of more headlines to get <v Speaker 2>into right after this. All right, we are back, and <v Speaker 2>let's hit this next story here. Star Wars Eclipses lead <v Speaker 2>writer has left Quantic Dream to start a new studio. <v Speaker 1>This is from Chris Sculling and at VGC. <v Speaker 2>The lead writer on the Adam Boys Aluminum solar system. <v Speaker 2>The lead writer on Star Wars Eclipse is left to <v Speaker 2>start his own studio. Adam Williams, who joined Quantic Dream <v Speaker 2>in twenty fifteen, posted a message on his LinkedIn page, <v Speaker 2>as spotted by The Gamer, announcing that he had left <v Speaker 2>the studio and his form founded his own after almost <v Speaker 2>ten years at Quantic Dream, I am leaving to found <v Speaker 2>a new studio together with a group of very talented <v Speaker 2>designers and developers. <v Speaker 1>Williams rope. <v Speaker 2>We can't say too much just yet. We are working <v Speaker 2>on something very innovative, very special, and for now very secret. <v Speaker 2>More on that soon. I've already been in touch with <v Speaker 2>many of you guys at Quantic Dreams and Lucasfilm to <v Speaker 2>thank you for everything on Detroit and Eclipse. It's been <v Speaker 2>a great adventure. A big thank you to the team <v Speaker 2>and so on. He's just going to thank you now. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>this does happen. People work on a project, that project <v Speaker 2>is not out. Those people move on, they have to <v Speaker 2>just the project just has to continue. But I continue <v Speaker 2>to get the sense that like Star Wars Eclipse feels <v Speaker 2>like a game that probably is further off than ever, <v Speaker 2>Like it just feels like the date keeps moving down <v Speaker 2>the road because they were making a game that was <v Speaker 2>kind of a pretty large scope in the beginning, and <v Speaker 2>they kind of and they had to pay for a <v Speaker 2>lot of it themselves, because again, that's just the way <v Speaker 2>Disney's licensing works, so they had to kind of like <v Speaker 2>think about what that scope was going to be long term. <v Speaker 2>I know that there was some rumors the game could <v Speaker 2>come out sooner than people were thinking, but everything I've heard, <v Speaker 2>it's like twenty twenty seven by the earliest. And now we're, <v Speaker 2>you know, a few months away from twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 2>And I'll be surprised if they're looking internally at this <v Speaker 2>game being two years away. I don't know, what do <v Speaker 2>you think? <v Speaker 3>I mean, there could be a situation where the ryting <v Speaker 3>is was done ages ago and this person felt like, oh, <v Speaker 3>I can dip that's true, don't I don't think. I <v Speaker 3>don't think that necessarily means that the game's going to <v Speaker 3>come out earlier. I mean, we know next to nothing <v Speaker 3>about this game, right, which is which isn't a always is? <v Speaker 3>You know, we don't always know everything about a game. <v Speaker 3>The worst case scenario, Yeah, but it's just it is <v Speaker 3>one of those small little red flags you know that <v Speaker 3>you're like not heard much about this game since it <v Speaker 3>was made public, But yeah, I don't know. I feel like, <v Speaker 3>if we're going based on vibes, I feel like this <v Speaker 3>is a game that is still quite a few years <v Speaker 3>multiple years away, and also personally a game that I'm <v Speaker 3>not one hundred percent certain will come out. Like I <v Speaker 3>feel like this this is one of those this has <v Speaker 3>to be. It has the potential to be one of <v Speaker 3>those games where it's like, we kill this. It's it <v Speaker 3>didn't It wasn't going the way that we wanted. Yep. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>it's just because Yeah, it could be because of the <v Speaker 3>game itself. It could be because of like context and <v Speaker 3>like circumstances around the gaming or even the IP, Like <v Speaker 3>who knows what could happen between now and then now <v Speaker 3>in the next few years for the Star Wars IP <v Speaker 3>like Stall Wars or Disney's interesting video game. Yeah, they <v Speaker 3>might just be like, this is what we're done with <v Speaker 3>this kill it? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean they could. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Disney could I have better luck with like smaller <v Speaker 2>games from smaller studios instead of trying to like get <v Speaker 2>quantitream to blend with you know this Is. <v Speaker 1>You know, Quantic dream Is is. <v Speaker 2>The studio that made Detroit and Indigo Prophecy and all <v Speaker 2>these things. They've made story based narrative, you know, gameplays, <v Speaker 2>gameplay where you're selecting dialogue options and a little bit <v Speaker 2>of moving characters around. I guess this was supposed to <v Speaker 2>be an action adventure game that does also have dialogue options, <v Speaker 2>I suppose, but it was supposed to be more than <v Speaker 2>what they've made before, or at least has more verbs for <v Speaker 2>players to do when they're controlling the character. So this <v Speaker 2>is already going to be something that they necessarily haven't <v Speaker 2>worked on before. Not that that precludes them from from <v Speaker 2>accomplishing their goals here. They could figure it out, but <v Speaker 2>that just increases the level of difficulties. So we'll see. <v Speaker 2>Maybe this surprises us, Maybe there's more to the story. <v Speaker 2>You know, the last time I heard about this game <v Speaker 2>was a while ago, so things could have always changed. <v Speaker 2>They could have hit their stride, and you're right. The <v Speaker 2>story here could be that the writing's done and this <v Speaker 2>person is going out on a dub and this game <v Speaker 2>is gonna come out and be great. In the writing, <v Speaker 2>everyone's gonna appreciate it, And now they're starting their own <v Speaker 2>studio and they're gonna carry that momentum forward. <v Speaker 1>That is also possible. We'll just have to wait and see. <v Speaker 1>But Star Wars and Clips just continues to be a project. Personally, <v Speaker 1>I'm like, I don't know, I'll wait see. <v Speaker 2>And I'm someone like I like the High Republic stuff <v Speaker 2>that they've done in the books so far so and <v Speaker 2>this was going to be the High Republic game, So <v Speaker 2>I'm curious on that side of things. <v Speaker 3>But beyond that, I don't know. What If someone gonna <v Speaker 3>make a Young Anakin game, huh, I want the Young <v Speaker 3>Anakin game where he's still getting his ass beat by Watto? <v Speaker 3>Is it? And the game is entirely simulator for pod racing. Okay, <v Speaker 3>it's funny pod races, but the only thing you do <v Speaker 3>is clean that shit. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, and you gotta just like deal with all those <v Speaker 2>like pod racer bots, the droids, the pod d exactly. <v Speaker 3>And every now and then Wato appears and it's like <v Speaker 3>you piece of shit, Yeah, clean better, and he's like, oh. <v Speaker 1>I'm just exciting slave gameplay from the. <v Speaker 3>Star Wars origin story for his dislike of sund there <v Speaker 3>it is. He's getting into the pod right, He's got to. <v Speaker 2>Clean it out, and then we see one just sprinkling <v Speaker 2>more in there, just exactly there you go, right, all right. <v Speaker 2>New report says the games industry is showing signs of <v Speaker 2>a recovery. <v Speaker 1>This is from Ricky Blake at Games Industry, not BIZ. <v Speaker 2>The games industry is showing signs of recovery from a <v Speaker 2>record breaking layoffs, closures, and business turmoil. That's according to <v Speaker 2>d DM's Games Investment Review, which reports a sizable uptick <v Speaker 2>in investments recovering ground lost in twenty twenty three, while <v Speaker 2>mergers and acquisitions remain low even taking out Like, I'm <v Speaker 2>gonna like set the table for everyone real quick, they're <v Speaker 2>gonna be talking about the rebound is happening because more <v Speaker 2>mergers and acquisitions are beginning to happen. <v Speaker 1>So if you think that. <v Speaker 2>People are going to be getting more jobs, let's let's <v Speaker 2>get through this. <v Speaker 3>While which exquisition has been the thing that has been written, <v Speaker 3>the industry is happening. It's gaming back. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, like there was less of it last year. That <v Speaker 1>was the problem. <v Speaker 2>I mean, listen, companies spitting money does help, but not <v Speaker 2>that much. <v Speaker 1>We'll see. <v Speaker 2>While mergers and acquisitions remain low, even taking out last <v Speaker 2>year's anomalists sixty eight point seven billion dollars generated by <v Speaker 2>Microsoft's acquisition of Activision, and not a single quarter in <v Speaker 2>twenty twenty three sur past one point three billion. Both <v Speaker 2>Q one and Q two and twenty twenty four have <v Speaker 2>each reached over two point two billion in mergers and <v Speaker 2>acquisition like deals. DDM suggests that the half yearly uptick <v Speaker 2>suggest in just the first half of twenty twenty four, <v Speaker 2>investments total eight point one billion, almost doubling the four <v Speaker 2>point five billion investment volume seen in the whole of <v Speaker 2>twenty twenty three. However, though Q two was great for <v Speaker 2>game investments, the report authors say M and A reached <v Speaker 2>eight hundred and forty five million across forty transactions, which <v Speaker 2>is a drastic declined quarter over quarter, so. <v Speaker 1>Might already be dipping back down. <v Speaker 2>The point is, like the short version of this is, <v Speaker 2>companies make these acquisitions and merger deals when things are <v Speaker 2>looking good or look they look promising, and they're feel <v Speaker 2>okay about spending money for the most part. There's obviously <v Speaker 2>more to it than that, but for the most part, <v Speaker 2>they make these deals. <v Speaker 1>When things are feeling when they're feeling a little bit. <v Speaker 2>More positive so if they're beginning to make these deals again, <v Speaker 2>the suggestion is they're willing to spend that money instead <v Speaker 2>of hoarding it because they're worried about the future. <v Speaker 1>This is like a sentiment check. <v Speaker 2>Do you think that this trickles down to the rest <v Speaker 2>of the industry of the people actually making games? <v Speaker 3>Tam No, Yeah, no, it doesn't feel I don't think so. <v Speaker 3>This is a very narrow view of the health of <v Speaker 3>the industry from a very specific perspective that basically only <v Speaker 3>serves the problem, not the solution. Like this is, these <v Speaker 3>are the companies and the people that are causing the <v Speaker 3>decline of the industry, and this is a report saying, hey, <v Speaker 3>it's going to get better for those people. The people <v Speaker 3>that are actively making games are still in the same, <v Speaker 3>if not worst position. So as far as I'm concerned, <v Speaker 3>nothing has changed in the industry. Like the people who <v Speaker 3>are making acquisitions and getting crazy money out of this <v Speaker 3>are going to do a little bit better. I don't <v Speaker 3>go ship. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, And it's are you making the game? <v Speaker 3>Because if you're not making a game, you deserve the worst. Right. <v Speaker 2>The the acquisition business is, you know, people go out <v Speaker 2>and start studios and many of them do it so <v Speaker 2>one day they can sell those studios like that that <v Speaker 2>this is part of the whole process that is important <v Speaker 2>to the ecosystem of generating interest and having people actually <v Speaker 2>invest in the first place in starting studios. But again, <v Speaker 2>that is you know, the ownership class. That is people <v Speaker 2>who are like, have enough success that they can turn <v Speaker 2>to someone with a lot of money and say, let <v Speaker 2>that get merd Yes, give me money so I can <v Speaker 2>own this thing. But you know, and honestly, it doesn't <v Speaker 2>feel like that slowed down all that much, Like, yeah, <v Speaker 2>we have someone saying they're leaving Quantic Dream to go <v Speaker 2>start their own studio. We've heard a few of those <v Speaker 2>happen in the last year, and obviously there was a <v Speaker 2>ton of those before that. But it's like that, you know, <v Speaker 2>it's slowed down a little bit, but people were still <v Speaker 2>making some investments in new studios. It sounded like if <v Speaker 2>you were a smaller studio that already existed looking to <v Speaker 2>get investment in your latest game that had dried up, <v Speaker 2>and that none of this sounds like it's going to <v Speaker 2>change that. And so until that changes, the people that <v Speaker 2>already have employees that are and they aren't riped for acquisition. <v Speaker 2>They're just like saying, hey, can we get some investments <v Speaker 2>so we can maybe one day be acquired. That part <v Speaker 2>of the chain still seems completely broken, almost absent. So yeah, <v Speaker 2>I don't think this means that layoffs are going to <v Speaker 2>suddenly stop. I mean we are on the other side <v Speaker 2>of like what feels like the Bungee, like one of <v Speaker 2>the biggest gut punched ones. But I mean, obviously they've <v Speaker 2>all been gut punches, but that one just sat like <v Speaker 2>holy crap. Maybe they do slow down, but I think <v Speaker 2>they continue through the rest of this year as these <v Speaker 2>companies try to get away with the last little they <v Speaker 2>can get away with. I think like they know things <v Speaker 2>are improving, they know things are kind of stabilizing, and <v Speaker 2>they use the destabilization that was in the industry and <v Speaker 2>across the economy as a whole over the last year <v Speaker 2>and a half to two years to make a lot <v Speaker 2>of changes, most of those price increases and layoffs, and <v Speaker 2>they're like, we're going to increase prices, We're going to <v Speaker 2>reduce our cost so that we are properly positioned for <v Speaker 2>when the windfall comes, when everything sort of gets back <v Speaker 2>to normal. We're ready to make as much money as possible, <v Speaker 2>and they know that that time is coming to an end, <v Speaker 2>and so they're trying to position themselves as best as <v Speaker 2>possible in this last minute. That's why we got those <v Speaker 2>like last minute price increases for gain Pass and everything else. <v Speaker 2>These companies are kind of panicking a little bit, trying <v Speaker 2>to get away with that last little bit. And I <v Speaker 2>think that means probably a few more layoffs before this <v Speaker 2>is all said and done, which is a shame. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, and it also could be premature in a <v Speaker 3>major way. <v Speaker 1>We could be misreading the tea leaves. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly. And like if these companies are which are <v Speaker 3>effectively getting ready to pounce the moment they feel like <v Speaker 3>comfortable enough to start a snapping stuff, like if they <v Speaker 3>do that, and we could be in a worse situation <v Speaker 3>or the same situation where it's like you spend a <v Speaker 3>bunch of money on studios and those studios probably aren't <v Speaker 3>going to perform in the way that you think they <v Speaker 3>will or you expect them to, and then you're gonna <v Speaker 3>end up letting them off or shutting them down. So <v Speaker 3>like it's I don't think we've had a bounce back <v Speaker 3>that is healthy enough for the industry to survive the <v Speaker 3>nonsense that these mergers and acquisitions often result in, being <v Speaker 3>like it feels like this is a moment where people think, oh, <v Speaker 3>it's going to be great, and they don't realize that this, <v Speaker 3>you know, this industry is still like hobbling its way forward. <v Speaker 1>Yep. We are, yeah, tobbling. <v Speaker 2>We're in the middle of of a wobble, even where <v Speaker 2>it's like, are we going to be able to bounce <v Speaker 2>our way out of this? And it's like every time <v Speaker 2>we like lean too far to one side of the other, <v Speaker 2>a bunch of people fall off and lose their jobs. <v Speaker 1>And it doesn't feel like we're done with that yet. <v Speaker 3>I think that when a company requires a small developer <v Speaker 3>should be called a merger and snack puisition. <v Speaker 1>That sounds right, just a tiny little treat for you know, <v Speaker 1>big corporation. Yeah, yeah, it's got a big hunky Tommy engine. <v Speaker 1>Needs to put people inside the machine and feast on <v Speaker 1>their blood. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, exactly. <v Speaker 1>There you go, all right. <v Speaker 2>Video game sales in Europe during July's We're up in <v Speaker 2>July in Europe despite a lack of major releases. This <v Speaker 2>is from Christopher Dring at Games Industry Dot is two <v Speaker 2>point four million video games were sold in Europe during July, <v Speaker 2>an increase of three point four percent a year over <v Speaker 2>year from that previous July. It's an impressive result when <v Speaker 2>you look at the top ten where the only game <v Speaker 2>release this year is Luigi's two eight Luigi's Match of <v Speaker 2>two HD at number nine. Every other game was released <v Speaker 2>before twenty twenty four, including the month's top seller, EA <v Speaker 2>Sports FC twenty four. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, the listing is like EA. <v Speaker 2>Sports FC twenty four, Grand Theft out of Five, Elden Ring, <v Speaker 2>Red Dead, Redemption two, Hogwarts, Legacy A sid Meyer, Civilization six, <v Speaker 2>Battlefield five, Hitman Apsolution, Luigi's Mansion two HD, and it <v Speaker 2>takes two at number ten, which man, that game just <v Speaker 2>so continues to surprise me. <v Speaker 3>Still going. <v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, game sales up, so once again, everything should <v Speaker 2>be great, right, And then we look at the list <v Speaker 2>of games and it's you know, E Sports came out <v Speaker 2>last year, Esports FC came out last year, but you know, <v Speaker 2>Grand Theft out of Five came out a decade ago, <v Speaker 2>Eldon Ring came out several years, so obviously shadows theater <v Speaker 2>te knew that little bit special case right Dead Redemption <v Speaker 2>two though, five years ago, a Hogwarts legacy more than <v Speaker 2>a year ago. Civilization Civilization six more than five years ago. Right, <v Speaker 2>that's a very old seven years probably, Yeah, Battlefield five <v Speaker 2>not even twenty forty two. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, known quantities. <v Speaker 2>Games that have continued have succeeded before are continuing to succeed. <v Speaker 1>And while there weren't many. <v Speaker 2>New releases to break into this chart, people spending more <v Speaker 2>money on the same old games probably also isn't a <v Speaker 2>great sign for this industry, right. <v Speaker 3>Uh not really? No, especially like now that I think <v Speaker 3>it's fair to say, like more new games than ever <v Speaker 3>are being made. But I don't know. I feel at <v Speaker 3>the point where if games are selling in any capacity, <v Speaker 3>I'm like, thank god. Yeah, I mean someone's buying something, right, <v Speaker 3>the dam. <v Speaker 2>Probably breaks, right, people are interested in playing video games. <v Speaker 2>They are, and they're going with the sure bets cause <v Speaker 2>they're probably like interesting something to entertain me. I don't <v Speaker 2>have a lot of money right now. Inflation is hurting me. <v Speaker 2>I just I'm gonna go with a sure bet, and <v Speaker 2>these games have succeeded for a reason. <v Speaker 3>I will go with them. <v Speaker 2>But what they're showing there is they still have interesting games, <v Speaker 2>and so when they do feel like they have a <v Speaker 2>little bit more money and they do look for something <v Speaker 2>next time. Maybe the new game that is coming out <v Speaker 2>at that point is able to win them over. It's <v Speaker 2>better that they're paying attention and spending money on games <v Speaker 2>than not, obviously. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and it is so weird to look at these <v Speaker 3>these sales numbers, these sales like charts and stuff like <v Speaker 3>that and see the same games from years ago and <v Speaker 3>also the same franchises. It's so rare to see a <v Speaker 3>game make it in there now. I genuinely impressed that <v Speaker 3>it Takes two is there and to some extent like <v Speaker 3>Luis is manch tow HD as well, But I feel <v Speaker 3>like Nintendo gets a different level of exposure. <v Speaker 2>And that doesn't include digital sales for Luigi's Mansion two HD. <v Speaker 2>Obviously that's riding the coattails of Luigi's Mansion three being <v Speaker 2>so good and people not knowing that Luie's Mansion two <v Speaker 2>HD is. I've never played Dark Moon, so I don't know, <v Speaker 2>but Bailey hates it and my no Mic doesn't like <v Speaker 2>it either. <v Speaker 3>A lot of people don't seem to like it. <v Speaker 2>So Hitman Absolution is I think that came out on <v Speaker 2>the switch or something physically, so I wonder if that's <v Speaker 2>how it made this list. <v Speaker 1>I don't know exactly. <v Speaker 2>September is shaping up to be packed full of pleasant games. <v Speaker 2>Here's our last story. This is from Evan Campbell at <v Speaker 2>game Spot. There will be more than dancing at September <v Speaker 2>in the start of fall in the Northern Hemisphere. Next <v Speaker 2>month is also looking like a delightful time to check <v Speaker 2>out a group of pleasant new games like the Legend <v Speaker 2>of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom on Switch and Astrobot on <v Speaker 2>PlayStation five. Both seem like potentially great experiences to open <v Speaker 2>your windows, relax on the couch and let your worries <v Speaker 2>drift away. <v Speaker 3>Oh my god, your windows. <v Speaker 2>I'm so excited for fall. Yes, I'm gonna open my windows. <v Speaker 2>You were in the bay are You don't understand their seasons? <v Speaker 3>No, because like if you open the windows and the <v Speaker 3>chance you might smell the gross outside, and then that <v Speaker 3>means that you might. <v Speaker 1>Want to go an chick about that. Okay, I got it, <v Speaker 1>crazy right, I can't do that again. It didn't go <v Speaker 1>great last time. <v Speaker 2>Nintendo already revealed that Zelda Echoes of Wisdom will feature <v Speaker 2>familiar locations to put in your happy place when it <v Speaker 2>when it launches September twenty sixth, to put you in <v Speaker 2>your happy place. <v Speaker 1>Excuse me to put in your happy place. Listen what <v Speaker 1>you do with your own copy of Zelda. It's your <v Speaker 1>own business. <v Speaker 3>It's gonna boof his copy of Eldow. Everyone. You heard it. <v Speaker 1>You're smuggling some Zelda's. You're just happy to see me. <v Speaker 2>Even better, the Princess can travel to these areas by <v Speaker 2>riding a cute horse. Meanwhile, meanwhile, the Astros play Room <v Speaker 2>sequel PS five brings back the adorable protagonist and what <v Speaker 2>looks like another charming platforming game. On September sixth, astrobotus <v Speaker 2>so that even a limited edition duel sets controller for <v Speaker 2>the characters sold out quickly. <v Speaker 1>I got mine. <v Speaker 3>I still want to think about what you doing to <v Speaker 3>astro Butt. <v Speaker 1>Now, now you do? <v Speaker 2>You do not want to know what I do to <v Speaker 2>astrot It's not just the big companies dropping cute games <v Speaker 2>in September either. The Plucky Squire from publisher to Bolver <v Speaker 2>Digital just got a release date for September seventeenth. <v Speaker 3>And let's see here. <v Speaker 2>The adventure title stars John and his storybook character friends. <v Speaker 2>The aim is to have a little something for everyone <v Speaker 2>when UFO fifty drops on September eighteenth. As the name implies, <v Speaker 2>there are fifty different experiences within that collection. On September <v Speaker 2>twenty fourth, THHQ Nordick will release Epic Mickey Rebrushed, a <v Speaker 2>remake of the Wei game. This updated version sports improved <v Speaker 2>visuals and updated controls, and last, but not least, right <v Speaker 2>before Epic Mickey Rebrushed, Tiny Glade will arrive on PC <v Speaker 2>on September twenty third. This might be the ultimate relaxing <v Speaker 2>experience for next month. That's the one where you like, <v Speaker 2>just build a little a glade in the middle of <v Speaker 2>the woods and it's cute and pretty. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I'd get the appeal of pleasant games the way I <v Speaker 2>play ass sure, but it's not pleasant though. I literally <v Speaker 2>injured myself playing Astros Playroom that I had to stop <v Speaker 2>playing games for. <v Speaker 1>Like three weeks. So yeah, but I get it. <v Speaker 2>I get what they're going for here, any of these games, <v Speaker 2>Like what's the number one game in September? <v Speaker 1>You're looking forward to playing. <v Speaker 3>Strava, I need to boof him as well. <v Speaker 1>I am. <v Speaker 3>I am enjoying quite a few of these. I'm looking <v Speaker 3>forward to a bunch of these games. I'm also like <v Speaker 3>into pleasant games right now. I mean like I've always <v Speaker 3>been into them, but. <v Speaker 1>Like the number one blood Born Fan, the number one the. <v Speaker 3>Most pleasant game that you can find. I've been playing <v Speaker 3>loads of Fields of Mystery, which is fantastic. <v Speaker 1>Everyone's getting point me to that one. <v Speaker 3>I should I'm just gonna start playing it. I enjoyed <v Speaker 3>Star do you? But I also I also was. <v Speaker 1>The characters weren't hot enough for you? And they fixed that. <v Speaker 3>There's no I have no interest in boofing any of them. <v Speaker 3>And and like now I'm just like this is this <v Speaker 3>is uh. These characters are good to go like a <v Speaker 3>fantasy kind of like twist to it, which is nice <v Speaker 3>and right. So it feels a little more focused, if <v Speaker 3>you know what I mean. But yeah, it's a it's <v Speaker 3>a good chill game. But I'm excited for Astroba. And <v Speaker 3>the annoying thing is I'm going to be traveling when <v Speaker 3>it is out, So I am preparing to take my <v Speaker 3>PlayStation poll with me? <v Speaker 1>Are you willing? <v Speaker 3>And last time I did that it was so ass <v Speaker 3>it was so bad. <v Speaker 2>You know, I've never I've never tried the steam deck <v Speaker 2>chiacky for deck outside my house. I should see what <v Speaker 2>that's like, because I have the PS five plugged into <v Speaker 2>Ethernet and I have pretty decent upload speed, so I <v Speaker 2>wonder what that would be like. <v Speaker 3>But how is it to set up the steam Deck thing? <v Speaker 3>Was it chiucky? <v Speaker 1>It's it's got It got way easier. <v Speaker 2>So in the Discovery Store you'll see chiacky, don't do <v Speaker 2>chiacky do chiacky number four deck And if you use that, <v Speaker 2>then there's a little bit of a process of finding <v Speaker 2>a certain like I did ID code for your PS <v Speaker 2>five or your ps N account camera which one it is. <v Speaker 2>But they have made that simple to you. <v Speaker 1>Kind of just got to go to a website, put <v Speaker 1>uh signing through your PlayStation Network account. <v Speaker 2>And they give you all the information. You just put <v Speaker 2>it in the in the in the thing and it <v Speaker 2>just worked so well. The thing supports HDR. It looks <v Speaker 2>so good playing PlayStation games on there. I played a <v Speaker 2>lot of college football on that thing. I can get <v Speaker 2>that on the Steam Deck. <v Speaker 3>I don't have to open up like the desktop version <v Speaker 3>and mess around. <v Speaker 2>You'll you'll have to go to the desktop version to <v Speaker 2>get to the Discovery Store. But all you need to <v Speaker 2>do in the Discovery Store is download Shockey for deck. <v Speaker 2>Once you have that, just make sure you'll probably want <v Speaker 2>to add it to your Steam like through the through <v Speaker 2>the desktop, added to one of your Steam apps. <v Speaker 1>But then you go back to the game mode. You <v Speaker 1>can do everything in there. <v Speaker 2>Now it's easier in the desktop mode to like enter <v Speaker 2>data and stuff like that. <v Speaker 3>But whatever, I am going to take my poll o. Anyway, <v Speaker 3>last time I used this great it was I used <v Speaker 3>it in a hotel Wi Fi, which they have released <v Speaker 3>an update that improves like logging on for that, which <v Speaker 3>is fine, but I was playing like Final Fancy Rebirth <v Speaker 3>and and it was a nightmare. Like so I'm but <v Speaker 3>I'm gonna be like hopefully in a position where the <v Speaker 3>the Internet that I'll have is more stable, and so <v Speaker 3>I'm hoping that it works. <v Speaker 1>But then again on the six now, no I travel later, <v Speaker 1>And before. <v Speaker 3>That I did, I did update my pol yesterday and <v Speaker 3>play it here and I played a bit of blop <v Speaker 3>on and it was artifected as fuck. So who knows? <v Speaker 3>And I've got like a good internet, and it's then <v Speaker 3>who knows? <v Speaker 1>All right, Yeah, I'm I'm right that Astro. <v Speaker 2>I gotta play Astro and thankfully Astros early in the <v Speaker 2>month Zelda's later in the month. Honestly, at this point, <v Speaker 2>if I had to pick one, astro is just so <v Speaker 2>my my, my stuff right now. But I'm looking for <v Speaker 2>Echo's wisdom. We'll see how that. As we are close <v Speaker 2>to that, I'll probably change my. <v Speaker 3>Mind looking atro But you know what I'm saying. <v Speaker 1>Let's get in there. Yes, I don't even know cute horse. <v Speaker 1>Just give me that. Give me that astrobot, Astrobot. <v Speaker 3>There we go. <v Speaker 2>All right, Poul, question, I have it right here. Let <v Speaker 2>me get it up where there is everybody. That's the <v Speaker 2>new question. Let me or no, I didn't answer this one. <v Speaker 2>What big Xbox game do you think? We'll go to <v Speaker 2>the PS five next? Let me see, I'm gonna make <v Speaker 2>a decision. I'm gonna say I'll do Starfield. That makes <v Speaker 2>a lot of sense, all right you. Forty nine percent <v Speaker 2>of people said Starfield. That was the number one answer, <v Speaker 2>that followed by forts Arison five at nineteen percent. Then <v Speaker 2>eighteen percent said something else, a lot of people thinking <v Speaker 2>it's Indiana Jones. Then eight percent said Halo Infinite, and <v Speaker 2>six percent said it will be nothing. The rumor is <v Speaker 2>tam that there will be an Xbox game ported to <v Speaker 2>PlayStation or announced to be ported to PlayStation next week. <v Speaker 1>What do you think it is? We're all just guessing here. <v Speaker 3>If I had to guess, as much has my thinking. <v Speaker 3>If they if they want to make money, If they <v Speaker 3>want to make money, I think they would do Faza. <v Speaker 3>If they want to recoup money, I think they would <v Speaker 3>do Starfield. Yeah, so it's basically that I think. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean for me, forts O Arizon makes sense <v Speaker 1>sooner rather than. <v Speaker 2>Later because those cars are have a time limit on them, right, <v Speaker 2>and then they have to stop selling those games after <v Speaker 2>a few years. So put on P five sooner rather <v Speaker 2>than later so you can get as many years as <v Speaker 2>possible selling on the PlayStation systems. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. Also, like the profile of Grand Tourismo, I don't <v Speaker 3>think is as high as it used to be. And <v Speaker 3>Grandismo was the competitor on PlayStation. It was their racing game. <v Speaker 2>It's a very successful franchise, but Gran two was the best. <v Speaker 1>Selling PlayStation one game or something like that. <v Speaker 3>That's exactly that. I feel like there's just enough opportunity <v Speaker 3>here for Forsa to also become the premiere racing game <v Speaker 3>on another platform, especially on PlayStation. That Microsoft are probably like, <v Speaker 3>we could we could put that on there and then <v Speaker 3>a future Fallsa comes out and it's popping off way <v Speaker 3>harder than the previous ones. And you know, I don't <v Speaker 3>think Sony will be like, no, thank you. We have <v Speaker 3>Grand Tourismo because. <v Speaker 1>Talka toy and chances where you're playing. <v Speaker 2>We talked about this yesterday and then Brokeuick Paupatry says <v Speaker 2>later streammers flights them. That also makes a lot of <v Speaker 2>sense to me. <v Speaker 3>It's gonna be really funny when it's revealed to be hexic. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Uh, Rare replaced tough because a lot of the games <v Speaker 2>in the Rare replay use the backward compatibility stuff that <v Speaker 2>Microsoft built specifically for Xbox, so the N sixty four <v Speaker 2>emulator and the Xbox simulator and stuff like that, so <v Speaker 2>that'd be challenging for them to do that on other <v Speaker 2>consoles and even the PC, which they haven't done yet. <v Speaker 2>All Right, we have a new poll question we'll get <v Speaker 2>to in a second. Before we do that, Tam, where <v Speaker 2>can people find you on the internet? <v Speaker 1>What do you have going on? <v Speaker 2>My understanding is you're traveling the world and might be <v Speaker 2>bringing us some interesting stuff from Germany. <v Speaker 1>What's going on? <v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, I'm going to games Com on flight is <v Speaker 3>on Monday. We're gonna be there. Hey, stop sniffing that pooh. <v Speaker 3>We're gonna be there for a week or so. It's <v Speaker 3>gonna be fun. We've got a bunch of uh content <v Speaker 3>ideas lined up. There's gonna be like a bomb cost <v Speaker 3>from the. <v Speaker 1>Taking the shows on the road, BombCast and Voicemail dump <v Speaker 1>Truck and Jan is still figuring that part out, so <v Speaker 1>we'll see what that looks like. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, we'll figure that party. But then yeah, we're gonna <v Speaker 3>be doing that. And we've got a bunch of like <v Speaker 3>also appointments lined up for some cool games and have <v Speaker 3>roped in a few of the crew to do impressions <v Speaker 3>on that. It's also B week, so I plan to <v Speaker 3>get stung to fuck. <v Speaker 1>Yes. The week after is be week, next week is <v Speaker 1>a guest, and then the week after is being yes. <v Speaker 3>Okay, gotcha, gotcha? Yeah, So that's gonna happen, and then <v Speaker 3>from there gonna be going to Packs. Packs is gonna happen, <v Speaker 3>and we'll be there. We'll have two panels, which is exciting. <v Speaker 1>Kind of like Saturday and Sunday early afternoon. <v Speaker 3>Correct a mondo, And yeah, it's gonna be. It's gonna <v Speaker 3>be cool. Lot's going on. You can find me online <v Speaker 3>on the internet, you know where. I am. <v Speaker 1>Ah, thank you, Tam. <v Speaker 2>Newpole question, which game will you be getting in September? <v Speaker 2>The Legend of Zelda, Echoes of Wisdom, Astrobot, the Plucky Squire, <v Speaker 2>Epic Mickey, something else or nothing? <v Speaker 1>Should I put UFO fifty in there? No, I could <v Speaker 1>speak of something else. I'm excited about UFO fifty, but <v Speaker 1>so my But I don't think people are gonna I <v Speaker 1>am right, Maybe maybe I don't want to put it <v Speaker 1>because I feel like there will be like, yeah, the <v Speaker 1>Sikhos who are into that will vote for it, but <v Speaker 1>then I'll just get crushed by Astrobot and Zelda. I <v Speaker 1>don't I don't need to see that happen in the UFO. <v Speaker 2>Yeah all right, but if it is you're something else, <v Speaker 2>go ahead and vote for something else. That'll be the <v Speaker 2>pole question that we get to on Monday. That's not <v Speaker 2>Labor Days when we go to packs. So now back <v Speaker 2>Monday with a new episode of Game mess Mornings here <v Speaker 2>on Giant Bomb. Speaking a Giant Bomb, Tam went over <v Speaker 2>a lot of it, but if you're curious about what's <v Speaker 2>happening later today fortnite. There's some X Men characters that <v Speaker 2>look like they come from the cartoon. Cyclops is in <v Speaker 2>his ninety seven get up. <v Speaker 1>Looks real great. We're going to play some of that. <v Speaker 1>Let Jam pop off for his boy. <v Speaker 3>Look out for that and. <v Speaker 1>About I don't know the next hour or so. I'm <v Speaker 1>not exactly sure we're doing this late because I did <v Speaker 1>the last day of kindergarten kickstart for Addie. <v Speaker 3>Today has killed way too many. <v Speaker 1>Yes, I hope. <v Speaker 3>I hope Jen knows that he is. He has committed <v Speaker 3>mass murder, but he is cool undoubtedly. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I mean, honestly, I think that just makes them cooler, <v Speaker 2>right because he's he's Yeah, he looks like a goody <v Speaker 2>two shoes, but he's actually a bad boy. Deep damn <v Speaker 2>all right, Tam, thank you so much for spinting today, <v Speaker 2>talking with me, talking with me about video games. <v Speaker 3>Man, I really appreciate you for having me again. I <v Speaker 3>will not be here next week. <v Speaker 1>Yep, yep, you do your thing. <v Speaker 2>You enjoy Germany. I hope you guys have a really <v Speaker 2>good time. I again, I'm gonna miss you all. I <v Speaker 2>wish I was there. <v Speaker 3>I need it. Next week when game mass morning happens <v Speaker 3>and I'm not here. I need you to everyone to <v Speaker 3>just harass whoever is here and say like we wish <v Speaker 3>you what time? Ye whire is time? Bring back time? <v Speaker 3>Of course? Are you know? Please? Harassment that's what we <v Speaker 3>are here. We are yeah, yeah, for sure. <v Speaker 2>Uh And thank you everybody for watching, Thank you for listening. <v Speaker 2>You are the best audience in gaming. Until next time, <v Speaker 2>have a good one, take care of yourself and goodbye.
