And so we turn to a Midsummer's Night tnh Boss. We're talking about July eleventh, twenty thirteen. Yeah, and Brook teeny and Bully Ray are no more, at least according to her Instagram. Right, So what do we do? How do we pivot? I think, I think, I think most importantly and I think this is this is very very important. I think I think Bubba's gonna have it. Gotta cut a promo. I think in the middle of the ring. I think it'll fix everything falling at the crotch. Well, yeah, he better cut a promo if he wants to keep that racket going. What a crackhead? The fuck? Does that even mean? What it means? But why would he say that? So Bully is backstage at the top of this impact and he's on the phone. Let's talk about my wife, Brook Hogan. How sorry, this isn't the ring, right, he comes in the ring in this one. This is backstage at the very top of the broadcast. Because what we have here, I'm almost positive, is a show where the in ring content was already shot before the Brook announcement was made on social and then they take something to insert with him acknowledging it backstage. Let me, this is the one time to take that's that's in the ring. I think that's next week. So this impact takes off with him backstage grabbing the cameraman. Get over here. Let's talk about my wife, Brook Hogan. How dare she go out and get engaged? He does not acknowledge at all that like she can't get engaged. He doesn't, like, you know, try to preserve that notion at all. I understand that people feel believe to move on, he says, but you move on When I say you move on, apparently not bully. I mean, I mean, you know, I know, can I mean you can't? I know, can you really not get engaged? Well, I mean you can't get married. But you're right, you can get you can't get married, you can get engaged, right because right you're just getting a ring from somebody else. That's a good point. Yeah, So we could just be pissed off that she had the gall to, you know, to totally disregard that she's married and announce an engagement to somebody else. I mean, not to mention the fact that, uh it's been do you get married like three months ago? Two months ago? Oh my god? And she's already moved on. Well she moved on because he fucking turned on her and called her and then to love you, which makes me But I don't think you do a You get engaged, I know that fast. But I wonder sort of what happens when real world invades the Carnie. Oh it's so true. I remember Rick Flair did the Steve Auston Broken Skull sessions and they were talking a bit about his time in TNA, and he brought up like, oh my god, you get almost like she didn't protect the business, you know, like like she didn't have the smarts to not get engaged. But it was really about announcing it is what it was. Right. But you know what generation do you think she's from? You know what I mean, right, I mean she's more or less grown up with social media. Yeah, you don't get engaged because you want to marry the guy. You get engaged so you can make your ghost you You get engaged so you can get the likes exactly. You know that's on the balcony of the Blaggio in the strips. How romantic, right? You want to get that fucking that that picture perfect moment right when the you know it's like you get him, you get him, you get some fucking bystander, okay, to grab the to take your fucking phone so he can get on his knee just as the Bellagio fountain is erupting. How romantic that's you know that that that is that hey, you know that's the way it goes. That's absolutely that is completely romantic. And h that's a satisfying way to get proposed, because again, it's not about how you feel in the moment, it's about how you look like you're feeling in the moment. Thank you very much, boss for that fucking truth bomb. I mean, I do wonder, like in terms of like the legalities of marriage, if if that really hurts your ability to have a clean divorce, if you get engaged again before the divorce is finalized. Oh, I do wonder about that, unless you can't get married to the person again until that's settled. But you know, if it's an acrimonious thing, there's like you have to like present to a judge, like in terms of the division of assets, like who behaved most responsibly in the dissolution of the marriage and I went out and got engaged. I don't know that might give bullies lawyers a lot of things to say. You think I might be some might be some some leverage, I would think so, and not legal leverage, brother, big thing. Dude, it's all about lawyers man with this guy now. Absolutely, that is the final conclusion. I after TNH double biz, double fucking juris, doctor degree, double court a law. I mean, you know he's used to entering Wembley Arena, but where he really is entering now is is the legal arena. Thank you, That's what he prefers. Another budget cut. Todd Kennelly off the announced booth, Thank fucking Christ, Bully addresses Chris Saban in the main event Mafia that's staying in for him the week before. Do they have Godfather rip off music or is TNA actually intelligent about it? Um? I would say that they're not intelligent about it. I mean, guys, come on, it's like, dude, it's all you gotta do, all you gotta do though, you know, you change just enough notes, that's all that matters. Oh yeah, I know they're doing WCW. Did it just change a few notes and act like you're a bitch for noticing the parallels, right, we'll put that noise in there like a ninkendo gunshot blast eight years you know, I mean, what story hasn't been told? Right? Exactly? See, you're the one where everything is derivative, and I think everybody is watching TNA in twenty thirteen remembers nineteen ninety seven. I don't even I mean, I wouldn't even want to remember. I don't remember, and I wouldn't want to remember. All Right, somehow gets everything he wants. I didn't have a son named Garrett, and I wouldn't want a son named Garrett. So this to me is proof positive because they still have Brooke on the show. Brook is still on the show here, uh, and she's backstage saying, Dad, why do we have to keep talking about Bully? I just want to focus on, you know, the knockouts division? I think, I think, I I think I have this one. I know we called you, oh brothers. He knows that Brooks. We need to talk about this Bully situation? Dad, Why do we have to keep talking about Bully? I'm not avoiding you. I just want to focus on doing my job. We have something going on. I some going on. Okay, he did call me, but you told me last time not to come back, and I didn't. I obeyed what you said. Now tonight, I just want to focus on business and focus on what's really important to me right now, Brook, I just want the truth, brother, Dad. The truth is that this is what I'm concerned about. I wish you could just understand that my personal life can start when this show ends, but for right now, there's a ladder match coming out. We've really hard for this, and I just don't want to plug my head with anything more than I need to. Okay, well, Brook, you just go ahead and take care of business, all right, all of it, brother, brother, the past year at least right into that. I can play that in a moment. Okay, thank you. Thanks for the reprieve on that one. Delay it as long as I can. By the way, he Tegan and just about anybody else you run into says, I get it. What they mean is, look, I don't care. It's a friend of you. Look, I get it, Brooke, I get it. Dude, word shut the fuck up. Like listen, you gotta stay at home, brother, all right? A great question to the Aces and Eights are gonna take a vote on who the new VP is? Here? We go has been one hell of a year for the Aces and Akaya World Heavyweight Champion ratings. Lately, within this club, we seem to have a little bit of a problem. We got rid of one problem. His name was Delo. We need to choose a new vice president. You think you're the man for the job. You think you're the man for the job. Since you guys to follow me, I'm gonna leave this up to you. I ain't voting. You guys, choose who you want to be your vice president? Fair enough? What a way to not claim responsibility for anything. Who are you voting for? What a leader? Me? Who are you voting for? Me? Joe Biden West? Interesting? Brother devon? Doc who bish bish bish ta zoo ta zoo, doc ta zoo. Three to three, gentlemen, three to three, nazee. Looks like you got said. I probably do it? Brother, who would now come on do it? Come on? Let me here, per vote for me new vice president of mister Kenny Anderson. And you're about oh wow, walk your asso. Pray for you, boy. I'm gonna pray for you. Boy. The fuck. I don't know what's going on. It's so stupid, Like I was supposed to care that Ken Anderson is that. You know, they're building into this thing where Ken Anderson becomes like the breakout member who turns on Aces and Eights and then they have a few. What ends up happening is because Bischoff leaves John Gaborik basically kills the Aces and Eights. You know, he doesn't continue the story because the bulls we don't really see. We don't really see what happens to the I mean, or is that kind of what happens where everything kind of fizzles out and the because I mean, we don't really see a conclusion to this storyline. You mean not within Hogan's run, right, No, not right. It's it's several months after Bully and Can do a match and it gets blown off that way. So Bullis talked about how he lobbied to basically close the storyline out at least before they drop it cold. So they did the match with him and Ken Anderson. Just fucking where do I sign up? You know what I'm saying? Yeah, Yeah, that's what I want to see again. Hogan and a leopard print bandana has taken the ring once again. An Impact Plugs destination next next week Live I'm packed for free. Oh here I have this one. Yeah, sorry, I loves on the wrong episode here. Who wow wow wow. Brother's definitely got to say. There's some codiacs right here in Las Vegas. There's another one. Gut gut sa gutsa yeah, brother, because front and center, it's the X Division. Because live next week from Louisville, Kentucky, free on Spike TV. We're gonna have from out of town brother, brother and by virtue of us win last week. The man that has a chance to go under greatness and become the next TNA heavyweight champion if he wants to, is my guest at this time. So let's welcome the unbelievable X Division Champion, Chris Saban. Brother, but Chris Samin, this is why Hogan came out of slimmer version. True. Congratulate the new X Division Champion, Chris Saban, proudly bringing that championship felt to the ring. Will heat turn it in, will heat cash it in? We're gonna find out right now. It's better not, it's better not. You know, I've been around some great ones, but this is our champ, this is our X Division Champion, Chris Saban You're the greatest brother. Thank you, Hulk. You know, honestly, there was a time not too long ago, after tearing both my acls, after having surgery on both my knees, that I really thought I was never going to be able to compete in this ring again. The doctor said I couldn't do it, my friends and family said I shouldn't do it. But I never gave up on my dream no matter what. Oh, thank God for that. This is a dream I've had ever since I was a little kid watching wrestling on my television, watching Hulk Hogan downstair residence. Well, I guess as opposed to live week to week when he was a kid who tames about winning. The impact on that dream is why I'm here right now. I did, didn't you to become the world heavyweight Champion? Did in my mind too. So now the only thing left to do is give up this X division title. Just give you, Hulk, brother to mother hung my bone bones, Blando sticking in my brain and yeah, and then Burdom and Bundom pass and Neates can suck my ass. Oh here we go again, and chases and needs. We're eating bunch of fucking hot dogs and cold, it a day, aces, hates and beers and hot dogs. So good, Oh some of these things. First you tell your daughter, my wife, you're a daughter. We got on finished business and the sick dad now want to you. You must be living in a fantasy land. He say he didn't dream about the world title saving? Do yourself of faith? Do not hand that title over to Hulk? What don't reassure Heller? What don't reassure him him in trouble like you've gotten well, including your daughter in trouble with me? As I was saying that, such a fucking idiot. I'm a bad person, Chris Saban, and I do bad things. There is no way in hell a little boy like you could ever defeat a man, a president, a world champion like me. How bad do you think? I'm gonna beat the living piss out of you if you catching that belt? You know what, bully, shut the hell up. I think you have a really short memory because you like to come out here every week. Oh do you know who I am? Well? I think you've forgotten who I am, because have you forgotten that I've beaten you in this ring? One? Two? Three? Have you forgotten that I'm the man who pinned you in Team three D's retirement match. Have you forgotten huh uh? Have you forgotten that I'm the only man in this business to ever kick out of Team three DS finished? Have you forgotten that? Yeah? So what? So what? I'm the underdog, but you know what, I've been the underdog my entire life. This is nothing new to me, nothing new to me. And nine times out of ten, yeah, a big man like you would beat a little man like me. But you know what all I need is one chance, just one shot to beat you, and I know I can do it. July eighteenth, Destination X. I will beat you. I will stand over you, and I will ask you if you know who I am. I'm Chris save In, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Shit, brother, don't you do it? Don't you had that belt? We'll do it, Okay, I want the belt? Brother? All right, I'll hate it, dude. You just signed your death warrant, kid, because remember something, I've taken everybody down in this company and you ain't just fighting me a Destination X. You're fighting my burden stack and do here we go? It's to ohiation is holy ray? No? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's that's not necessarily true. You see, it won't be Chris Savan against Aces and eights. It's gonna be Chris Savan against Bully Ray alone and Mafia. Here. My family's gonna make sure of it. When I say mafia, i'm talking about Joe. I'm talking about Kurt Magnus, myself and our heavy hitter, Ram Pace Jackson. Get out of here. Bum bum bum bumm oh no no wait, wait a minute afterte based off of Kurt. Now he's going to Kirk stool hitter and Las Kagan, remember this rad Pat Jacksons No against Yeah, oh my god, think about it. Next week in Louisville. Bea promises it's gonna be point one when Saban faces going for the world title, fly right here on Spike TV. I'm so excited. I'm just I'm just ready. I'm ready for it all. Are you ready for the explanation? No? Well, first of all, Chris Saban wearing black Adidas and jeans and a T shirt, and uh, I wonder if this is the kind of look that Hogan talked about when he did that interview just a couple of weeks ago how the guys in this business today looked like they backed Mike Groceries. But that include the guy you put over way over the top in twenty thirteen, and it is brother, Um what do you oh? It's quite a visual to see Hulk hoisting the X Division title high. Oh god, what are you doing? By the way he's holding the championship high? Yep, that's what he does. Yep. Pretty amazing. And so if you don't remember, the stipulations are at Destination X, the X Division champ can relinquish the belt to get a world title shot at Word Frost and Areas the year before. Will it work for Chris Saban this year? Here's the story. Bully Ray revealed this on the eighty three Weeks interview that we've referenced several times in recent weeks on TNH all he would say was a cryptic remark, but I think I know what he's trying to say. When you know the subject of him losing the belt to Chris Saban came up. He did the whole preface of how I like Chris Saban, He's very talented, he's the only guy to kick out of the three D. But then he says, you know, can I tell the truth? Eric? Can I tell the truth? T and A didn't want to pay for Chris Saban's knee surgery, That's all he said. So to me, what that means is, Hey, Chris, I know you suffered a very debilitating career ending injury in our ring, and I know that a grown up wrestling company would at least cover those costs. But we're not a grown up wrestling company, and we're not going to cover those costs. And we're not going to cover those costs. So what can we do in lieu of you essentially probably suing us for the cost? Wow? Give you a world title? Run? How about that brother for four weeks? It's it's amazing how this world title and coming up with AJ it's kind of the same thing with his contract coming up. You know, they get the strap back on him and it's like, why would you do that? He doesn't have a contract, And it's like they actually view the world title as like almost a substitute for giving similar rays. It's leverage. It's again, you know, a financial leverage for them, which which only can only mean one thing. The world title is super prestigious and is a great drawing card, right and it matters right and the fans take it seriously. So what a fucking nightmare. So Pritchard's out. We moved to the July eighteenth PA Impact. This is the Destination Next show, formerly a pay per view now free TV special on Spike, and they do a big involved video of Saban as a young loving wrestling growing up, and people told me I never made it. I would never make it. All that shit sounding like a member of Bobby's family in Bobby's world. And then Bully comes out, Yeah here and here he is, Here he is, and all's glory. Sounds like everybody's really happy to save me tonight. Enough is enough. All week long, all I've been hearing about on Facebook, really honey, Internet, all of the wrestling magazines everywhere in the world, everybody's talking about one little boy. Everybody I didn't want to talk about Chris Shaven. You know damn well that you could chant his name from now to high Heaven. That kid he ain't got a shotting hell, hadn't been the world anyway. Chat at you guys, sound like they're gonna plan a parade for him. They do. They guessing what you should be doing. He's planning funeral for him. I'm the most hated man in pro wrestling, and that's just the way I want it. Everything is perfect, the table set. It's the perfect night for Bully Ray to defeat rest Saving. It's a perfect night for my Aces and eight to destroy the main of Amphia. And since I'm done with all that business, there's only one thing left to do. I want to talk to my wife, Brook come out here now or this should be interesting. There we go, she's back, say watching on, I'm coming through. I'm coming. You keep runing from me. All you want to get it a charge of the knockout wife a Bully Ray Brook Hargan, Mark Mark, Yes, he is one. What else is the boy? You can possibly one for me? What else do you want? You've checked my father, you checked six a carter, you checked me. Who's trick? Who? Dude? I'm sick of it. I'm moving on and you should move on to Mark Brook Brook. I said it. I said it last week, and I'm really happy that I have the opportunity to look you in the eyes tonight and tell you that you move on. When I saw you move on, actually you move on. Wanna love laave i love lasawlah I was as out blahnah lah lah waw holdlahnah wah laut wow blahnah wah wa wahl wahnah wah wah wahl wahnah wah wa wow. Brother, know something point, you're completely right, brother, anough is enough, so we're knocking at all As of this point, you've raged and village somebody in my family and you've got everything you wanted out of us. That's the world heavyweight title and it's over now because it is enough. Brother. Hey, hey, don't you walk away. Don't you turn your back on me? Ever, don't you forget touched? You want still my wife. I will never ever give you a divorce. I will never ever Who's the world heavyweight championship? And there is nothing that you or anybody else you can do about it? Poking, Bully, Bully, could you say nothing nothing? Well, things are different now, the mafia is here. The fight aces and eighth and tonight, Bully Ray, Tonight, you're gonna lose your wollhead and weight title of Chris Saving and a fair fight, and there's nothing nothing you can do about that. We're gonna find out whether or not your brotherhood is stronger than this family. That's all we want. We're going a fair fight tonight with Bully Ray defends the title against Chris Saben. How about brother? I mean, so the guys in the suits are a family, now, well that's what it's mafia, mafia's family. Yeah, they linked up like three weeks ago. Brother. Um, I don't know if you caught it, but right before ankle pops up on the video wall, Hulk is getting on home. You know, he's getting increasingly pissed off at Bully and he's about to charge the ring and he says before he does it to Brooke, he goes get in front of me, just to hop him. Um, so yeah, I don't know you intrigue get boss at how this impact is gonna unfold? No? Uh, we see the Chris Saban video again. Heartbreak has made you wiser? Is that Saban in the back with Hogan? Brother, We all know what you've been through. The injuries, the setbacks. I had no idea was actually a setup. I got this to here. Here me go, brother, here's the Hogan talk that every guy who's about the gree the setbacks, I had no idea it was actually a setup for greatness. This is your time, brother, But I got one little piece of advice I also gave Bully at the end of the night, just make sure they remember you and bringing the title home to t and a brother Ulk, thank you. It's your time. That's his time, all right. Yeah, he's got about four weeks ter the Mafia music hits. Here they come. I don't know. This kind of makes me think Russo is back in some way, some stealth way, because he always would book Mafia guys like Big Veto and stuff and Johnny the Bull Stam Bowie with this exact music. Even in WCW. He was always about that, and he booked the main event Mafia when he had the pencil at TNA before Hogan Bischoff came in. I don't know, I'm starting to think because you have to be very attuned to that because it's beyond our timeline. But um, one of the big reasons that was cited for Spike finally throwing up his hands with TNA was that Dixie was still using Vince Russo, even though it was made pretty clear that Spike did not want him involved, according to reporting at the time, so she kafaved it and didn't want him to tell anybody that he was working for the company, And then he accidentally emailed a wrestling reporter of the script for the show and there was only and so it's interesting to sort of pick out and try to sniff out, like how far out from that point was Russo actually putting his fingerprints on the television show. I would think of Richard leaving and then Bischoff going, and the decks clear in that way as far as people diametrically opposed to Russo, that that would be the time that they'd make the move. So Richard's gone, Bischoff is sort of looking for the exit, and Big John, but Goberick is in positions so it would make some sense. Um, so here they come to the ring and then later Gail, Kim and Mickey are rolling around ripping each other's clothes off. That's another Russo thing. Of course, krin Angle's doing the scoofy thing where he he's beat up backstage and goes off to the hospital and comes back all in the same episode. That's very Russo. For this episode, Taz is gone from commentary. I didn't know if that was a permanent thing, but it was and he came back. It was just JB and TENA. On this episode, main event world title Bully Ray versus Chris Saban. Bully introduced and gets in Sabin's face to intimidate him in the corner, telling Saban fantasy times over, I'm going for your knees. I'm telling you straight up what I'm gonna do to you. Okay, I'm taking out your knees like I took out Sting's neck, which you know he did hurt Sting, but he didn't take his neck out at all. Sting was immediately back in action. Bully to his corner and Saban steps to him, pretty laughable the way he likes pushed back. Bully shoves him and he does a backflip. Ding ding, here we go. Bully shoves the reft to the side and single leg to the braced knee of Chris Sabins. So we have psychology here, of course, we need a psychological bass for all things professional entertainment. Saban starts throwing kicks, Bully absorbs him and throws an open hand slap to the chest, leaving hand marks on Chris Sabin's chest. Saban, though goes off with punches from the corner Mount Bully catches them and drives an elbow down onto the injured knee. Outcome the aces and aids, how come the main event Mafia Bully threatens to take the chain off Quentin Rampay Jackson's neck and punch. I don't know about you, but when I see two different, two different groups of individuals dressed in certain ways, I'm definitely more threatened by the guys wearing suits than the guys who wear jeans and cuts. Yeah, it seems like they actually have like some experience catching jollies, right yep, as opposed to just like drinking and playing pool and talking shit but never doing anything. So Bully starts unlacing Saban's boot because that hurts the knee, and Saban starts rallying and Bully knocks him down before he can get anywhere with it. Bully takes off the knee brace to expose that knee and starts attacking it, and then Bully cups the ear Olla Hogan to mock the big man, Bully doing old school. He'll work talking shit and the thoughts were attacking the knee. Sure, and of course, because he's doing old school, he'll work. They can't stop chanting we want tables, right, because that's what people really want from him. Especially Let's not forget that that's all he's good for. I mean, he's good at a lot of other things. But the fact they're chinting we want tables all they want are the tableaus unbelievable? What are they data pipelining? What are they modeling? So he tries a bully bomb, but it's blocked. Saban hits an insiguri and then a missile dropkick knocks Bully into Referee Brian Hebner, so referees out one of the aces. Nates throws the ball peen hammer into Bully. So the mafia floods the ring to counteract it. Rampage is in there, throwing just the worst working punches in the history of the industry, no idea how to do it, and the ring cleared. Bully comes up with the hammer, Saban spin kicks him before he call hold on. Before that, though, there is one moment where where someone I believe it's an Ace or an eight, plays a fucking Tommy from the Karate Kid. You look around ringside put him in a body bag. Yeah, I know it's that must have been a Garrett Bischof try to pop Garrett bish Off. Yeah, and can just so fucking slow, so fucking slow fucking match. Saban spin kicks and the hammer gets loose. Saban gets it he's cut off. Bully goes to power bomb Saban, but uh in midpower bomb Saban, while on Bully shoulders, dings him in the head with the ball peen hammer and falls on top of the champion. Refer covers one, two, three, Big Pop on the night they pulled the trigger. Sure, Chris Sabin defeats Bully Ray to become the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. Boss. Okay, I mean I don't get it. I don't really know Chris Saban from you know, my ass, so it doesn't really affect me either way. Was he someone that the kids always wanted to have win the world title? No, now, he was much more of the vain of a guy who liked you know, defined the X division for a while and so therefore actually defined what people thought of as TNA as opposed to all the other bullshit they layered on top that was like x WW high salary guys, So you know every now and then they would do that. They'd be like, oh, yeah, this we all kind of know. The only reason people actually are TNA fans are because of X division guys. So every now and then we'll actually let the main event win the world title, whatever the case may be, right Aj being the first of that of that type. So Saban would later go on to say he thought it was too soon to give him the championship. He would lose it in just a month, but yeah, too soon. I'm sorry, Chris. If it wasn't for this precise circumstance, you never would have got the belt. So I don't even know if t soon applies. I mean no, there was only one opportunity and it was fabricated. Yeah yeah, that's pretty all right, pretty fascinating that the whole it's so TNA. It's trying to try to nickel and dime like that. I mean, I'm sure it was tens of thousands of dollars that surgery, but I can totally see them just trying to find a way, like you read like you know what I would know. Then they are just like trying their best to act like you know what, I would have loved, you know what I would have absolutely loved if um if uh they said, hey, you know what, instead of them you know, you know how about this and LOUI of paying for your medical bills, what we'll do is we will give you the World championship, and they give the world, but we will need a deposit for that. My god, fucking make him. It's a nonrefundable to deposit of twenty five thousand dollars. Yeah, okay, Jim heard. It's always kind of fucking paid like ten thousand dollars for his fucking surge, and since they won't pay for it, he's gonna pay twenty five thousand dollars non refundable deposit to be fucking championing that. Okay, thank you, got it. I got a compromise for you, mom, ever since you were a kid. Whatever. That's so, that's so wrestling. Like the fans of the business, the kids who grew up fans of the business, build up the title as a real thing, yes, and then the people who decided the champion is are just using it for these like totally transparent political maneuvering reasons and really could give a shit about where stuff. It's not. It's a piece of ten, Hogan says he's breaking up the contract for Bullies Rematch. Um, okay, So I don't know what that's about. Hogan's just now standing there as a background player and this fucking epic Bully Ray Chris Saban saga with the Brook Hogan thing kind of being xnayde like Hogan. All of a sudden, there's a man with a country dollar back on this thing. Brother Loop to August first, Impact has is trying to get in the building and he's being told that whole Hogan can't let you in. Impact continues to be at least in part about access to the actual facility, which is always a money idea. Of course, it's all about access. Bully's in the back of the acess just ask the fans who've been casting w E films. Yeah, it's all about access exactly, says he turns the Mafia. Wait are you are you with Hogan and Dixie? Is that what he said? Nope, always in the back of the aces and eights and talking about the mafia, says it seems like they've seen the Godfather when too many times coming around with offers you can't refuse. Is that okay? Bull? He says he's obsessed with Saban and the hardcore Justice cage match and for them at all, I'm good, Yeah, exactly. He walks off. He says, Brook, I was just looking for you. Want to go into the I think he's on the phone. Oh yeah, I want to go into the bleachers for a little while. Or are you shaking me for the divorce you'll never never get. He adjusts his vest and hat mark you might want to rethink that. She says, No, he's not on the phone. She's there. Yeah, Brooke Hogan the contractor you're supposed to sign next week for a rematch. He tells him, I heard some things about that contract that's not in your favor. What you did here. You might not want to be on my bad list. You know, you know that's saying. She says to him, happy wife, happy life. In this case, it would be happy ex wife, happy life. Great line. Yeah he got me with that one. Woof blows him a kiss and bounces. Mafia and ass and Nate's brawl later on, and Tito comes out Santana titote to the worst eminem mosh remix you could ever imagine. He's such a fucking oath, there's no chop tenagoes, what the hell, which is exactly what we're all feeling. Yeah, he looks like such a dufus Tito Ortiz, like really yeah, an absolute bona fide four star buffoon, like he's he's got one of the You know, listen, I'm sure he could fucking rip me apart from chorus I'm saying, and I have no can I get it? But listen, he looks so fucking dumb, like he looks like one of the Like he looks like his face and his head is just full of air, like the same fucking pump that that Scott Steiner uses to get himself so fucking big, to stick air in his body. This is what he does, except for his fucking head sitting here waiting for the problem. Yeah, sitting here waiting for an issue of concern to be rightly. I have to look twice at him because I always think his eyes are cross eyed. Yeah, and he's but the things you're saying about him, like he's done everything in MMA to support what you're sniffing about him. Of course he's like he does these like he's new infamous for these meandering word salad interviews that just great rape English language. And he's like, but he's got like this, like but he's got a swagger about him where he thinks he's saying something really edgy, but like he's just like saying nothing comprehensible. And he got elected to the city council in California somewhere Hunton Beach, right, that's where he's from, right around that area. Oh, didn't last very long. I married Jenna Jamison, the porn star. Remember her? Yep, I do know that. Who can forget Jenna? And they didn't they they remember they had a bunch of like a bunch of real helicopter about the house scandals. Yeah yeah, ye remember McMichael. Yeah, like but to like to the next level, yeah, very much. So. Yeah, they were remember tabloid fodder to the max for a while, going at each other on Twitter, and I mean, come on, a fucking a fucking, a fucking shoot fighter and a porn star. That's just I'm sorry, quite a mix. Fuck um, So here he is. And they did another one of those TNA things where like they put a date out there in like vignettes like August first, Warning First, and this was the August first warning was Tito or Tees debuting and to the Call goes August. First warning identity revealed. I'm like, I need to stop this thing. This this was a bad idea. He's rough man, He's just and I know that. Yeah, I know that he and he knows he's very little as he's in a bad position, and I knew that he has u you know, just he's just doing what he can with the with the ship that he's got. But you know what, he still sucks. It's still bad. Yeah, even given him that leeway, he still could be better at like just not over it's not overdoing it like he does. I know, I know, it's such a possible to get into when like this guy's screaming at you, when no one's reacting in the building, Like JR. No one was ever better at saving that explosion for a moment when the crowd is supporting. He would feel it in his veins. He would feel the pop, the hairs would stand up, and then he'd scream. Right. And there's also you know, there's also just a there's there's a a gravitas about that that he has that that today does not have. He'll just scream whatever the message is. But even on his best day, like as as good as Tenay can be, and and he certainly can be good at times, he does not have that like the there's just there's just a lot of weight behind what Jr. Says. Yeah, and you know in his prime, certainly not when he's fucking you know, doing Awaken Bake. Today seems much more produced. Yeah, yeah, I mean he's like he's got a Michael Cole quality to him. Interesting, that's very interesting. Um, and I would take Mike Tenany over Michael Cole and I in a heartbeat. Sure, But today's kind of sacker saying because he's like, you know, a forty year wrestling a storian and was one of the first news letter writers had a wrestling radio show. He's like, you know, man, he's an absolute encyclopedia of the business. So I guess it's not good enough. And no, it doesn't mean it does mean a good announcer. I mean he's good enough, and he's had great years when when TNA was pushing X Division guys as like really the the key attraction on the show, and wasn't shy about putting that forwards like a thing that they were going to go full bore into he really he could really shine because he could muster enthusiasm. He did it with the cruiserweights in WCW as well, or the luchadors, knowing the Mexican scene as well as he did. I mean, that was really how he got into WCW. Was an English speaking guy who knew so much about Luja Libre when they did the One World's Collide show, right, and he was great at getting you as gassed up for the smaller guys as the other announcers would only do for the big guys. And so for TNA, it really worked there in like two thousand and five six or so, really worked well. Yeah, but it's time when and he was trying to just like feign and through he has him about guys that were like forty five, and it just left a ten year run in WWE. It just didn't work. It just didn't gel. You couldn't believe that he would be motivated enough to be that excited about these guys as opposed to you know, innovative new talent. So there he is and Ken acts all serious and Tito just stands there with his arms crossed and he stands there and he stands there. I don't know what their idea was here, why it hovered on this scene for so long entertainment, but they go back and forth to every single person like three different times. Is Tito just stands on the ramp with his arms folded. It's just the Hokies ship you've ever seen. He sucks. I mean, just standing there, he like takes you out of it. And he doesn't even do anything. He didn't say a word, he doesn't make an expression. He's standing there with his arms folded, and he was like, this is so fake. And so that's how they go off the air. And this is Las Vegas, you know, of course UFC Las Vegas. I'm sure they thought that was an advantageous place to bring him out, But I don't know, man, I didn't sense it from this crowd. Yeah, I don't think so. I don't think uh, you know. Bully Naj have expressed a little bit of discontent about how the way these bellatore Mma guys were treated when they would come through impact wrestling in terms of like kind of seemed like they're they're really demanding and they had to kind of bend over backwards bully saying something like it was almost like we were in their house, but they were in our house, but they were treated as if we were the guests. Aj even said that the the MMA guys had their own locker rooms and they didn't the ten a roster. So yeah, now that is yep, I do so. The next free television special that would have been a pay per view in a prior era is Hardcore Justice on April a part in the August fifteen, twenty thirteen, and Dixie is back with the Mafia and her white pants and it's going to be a hot Dixie summer here in Guys at thirteen. Sometimes Dixie how to get feel the voice is Steve beside me screaming out, sold out the sign of said it's deafening, jar me want to lose you girl, come on now on. So that reminds me our good friend Andrew Leonadi said, you know what, I know the TLF has a digital tip jar. Yes, I know that if I send a donation via PayPal to the Lapsed fan at gmail dot com. Yes, and not only will I win the approval of the co chairman, I might even get a requested It's like the request line in some ways you know every thirteenth caller right, and it's of course. But Andrew had held a suggestion. When I think this is a perfect moment to take care of here on our t H journey, in the final leg, I encourage you, or ask you, boss request that you pull up the lyrics to Dixie Carter's oh my God. All right, here we go, and when you have those in front of you, I will then share with you Andrew's request, presuming you haven't seen it yet. I don't think I did, Maxy Carter the lyrics. It pays to pay us gratuities. It pays to be gratuitous in the TIA left solar system. Hold on, I thought the full lyrics. I need the full lyrics. Please, no, I need the full lyrics. And wait till I tell you why she came out on this impact. Oh my god? Why want All right, if you can't find it, I'll find it. Hold on, they gotta have it, I mean, but they're just not. It's not enough. It's only got like a little bit. Really, it's weird. Doesn't have the whole sea. That's all you need. Sometimes I hear all the way to head up high, I like having more. Yeah, I don't know why they would only have one one verse of it. No, that's the whole Who knew this would be hard to find? Right? The man in me? Yeah, I don't need to know about sirge Okay, right exactly, I'm good, all right, I'll just do that that one, okay, okay. The request is thanks for TNH and to hear this money is to hear lapsed Jim Barnett do an exasperated rendition of Dixie's theme Let's take it away. Sometimes I hear voices deep inside me screaming out so long, so loud, over the silence, and it's death fuck, and it's deafening, telling me what what to do? Please Like that, I risk it all, even if I lose. It's the only way you'll ever hold your head up. Fuck this, And I need a fucking drink and die. And I want to get high. And I want to get blown by a high school boy. No college, at least, I'd go for seniors letterman jacket on the bedroom carpet, My boy, I see you blowing down on me. What what a what a romantic? What a what a fucking poet? He is? And I grab a drink and shove it down my gullet. Akers mark, make your mark, mark on myr mouth, on side my cock, Jim Barnett or Truman cup Pody. So let me ask you a question. Why is Dixie coming out anyway on this episode of Impact? Why is Dixie coming out on this Oh wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Is it because everything's fine in TNA? Yeah, come on, boss, I don't know. Two weeks ago, yeah, Kurt Angle entered a rehab facility. Oh fuck yes, Oh just launched the main event Mafia storyline with him playing a key role, and he goes into rehab. At this point, he's still in there. She tells the tena faithful but he has my complete support, the support of this entire company and these men in the ring. Right now, Kurt, we love you, We're thinking of you during this difficult time, and got back to us real soon, please, okay, rampage in a camouflage blazer in the ring. This is like bizarre world. This is like really really seriously, it's like another dimension at this point, so fucking weird. Painkillers, alcohol four DUIs in five years, TNA, TNA, TNA Bully on the phone in the back, Honey, I totally agree with you. This has not been the normal relationship anything but wait a minute, where I know I have this? Where? What what a week are we on? This is August fifteenth? Okay, yeah, I have this, honey. I totally agree with you. This has not been the normal relationship. I mean, it's anything but normal. Well, I'm glad to hear you say that. Yes, and just so we're on the same page. Tonight is about me. Next week is about us. Your man is going to go out there, win back his old heavyweight title and destroy that boy. And then I'm coming home and we're celebrating, and you know exactly how Cavzilla likes to celebrate. Yes, Okay, fine, next week we tell the world the truth. All right, me too. I love you too, Brooke? Okay, bye. What's the truth you're gonna tell next week? Bully? The tena's out of cards to play, Brook. A lot of emphasis on that name and that phone call. I wonder where they're going there, m rampage promo. Even though we got to throw down in November. He tells Tito, we can do what MMA fighters always do. What we did in mma, we can take this sport over and Tito rambling like you wouldn't believe in response, and Bully gets in their face and says, I will make you my hunting to beach bitch. Excuse me, Bully and Ken Anderson. Backstage, Ken is questioning if Bully can beat Chris Saban, How did he do it? The fairy Godmother told me to give you the hammer, and that's what happened. So he was like, don't blame me for the fact that Saban hit you with the hammer. You wanted me to do that. Can you beat him? Can you beat him? Ken Anderson says to Bully, and Bully finally blurts out, I don't know. Tell me, I don't know. Do I have help from my club? Still doing this? Well? How long ago? The storyline start? Like last summer? And yeah, I mean it said when when? When he fucking when Bully turned it? He said, what ten o? Nine months? And then Ken, she's back. That's all we're ever trying to do is help you. Sorry, I got interrupt you for one second, so I'm in another text conversation with another fucking scammer. Please read it to us. They write, this is the conversation. Do you have a moment. All right, brother, It's time to stop playing hide the ball man. No more Marco polo, no more, no more shovel the jelly, this poor jelly. I mean, you're having so much of mine here oh god. And then you said we got to get this conversation back on track, and she says, yes, I'm the one talking to you with a straight face. Damn right. And then you say you're behind me, dude, No, I'm not you man once again, I'm a lady. Respect me. Wait, you're saying you're me? What's going on here? Second bubble? Are you ellipsis? Third bubble? You've been talking to Letto, brother, let you should be proud of your boss. He's so fucking fun. And then she says I'm winning and you go winning what world title? And then you wrote without her saying anything. Second bubble someone pushing her? She wrote get out s B. And then you wrote you gotta know you gotta remember this one. I do remember this one. SB. Is that backwards? Brother? Is this Bruno? Sam Martino? Why should I respect you? Do you respect the lady? You know something, brother, I've been in this business for thirty years. I've done everything for the kids and the charities, persons. Starting to think she might actually have Hogan on the line, But the way you've been talking to me, you can stick it, brother, And then she writes, are you a philanthropist? And then he says, halt, I have been a philanthropist. I'm not a philanthropist abuser, a philanthropy abuser, and I'm not currently a philanthropist. No god, oh shit, I'm And how good is that? Seriously fucking amazing? So uh, they ask, can Chris Saben continue his storybook rein his champ it's been like four weeks. Saban comes out with the title on his shoulder and hoists it fleetingly for his defense and the rematch against Bully Ray and a steel cage here at Hardcore Justice. They lock up and Bully immediately slams Save into the canvas. Bully misses a corner slap and the arm drags of Chris Saban go off. Saban climbs the ropes, but he's crotched. Reilla press slam by Bully Race and Saban flying into the fence and Tas calls it ted r CD like like Jeep Swanston somehow, Taz says, Champagne. He calls him the Champagne. Yeah, the Champagne. Bully shouts over to the desk and Taz says, you're like Ted r CD. Bro. Taz is putting over the first step explosion of Bully Ray. Indeed, Taz says cross no, actually yeah, Bully calls out to Tas he's going to do a cross face and then he does to the human suplex machine. I do like that talking to the commentator during the match. I think it's fun actually that that's probably the greatest part of this dynamic. Is is Taz and with Tas and and and Bubba? Is them doing this ship? Yeah? I agree, Yeah you don't. I've never seen that in WWE, like somebody who is like barking, like, like you see that, bro, what do you think of that? To the right, the buddy that's an announcer, Ray screams hit me in the face. He says it twice and Saban obliges, and I'm thinking, is that like a heat spot or is that just allowed spot? Call that cameras picked up anyway, Saban tries to lift him up to the what does he call it? Not the future shock them the hail Saban, I think he calls it, but a Bully's too fat. So Bully tries to power mom right right, save encounters with a bit of a labored backslide that gets too is Taz said Bully is too big and you can't have all that weight on the back of his bean. As Savan's able to cut down a cordelariat. Bully then punches the ear and Tash shouts He's gonna Callie flower his ear to coin a verb. God, that's right. And then Mike Tanee plugs Fight Master that. I just thought that a fan that's listening, that's what you gotta do. You gotta fucking plug the next show, I mean Fight Master. This was Bellatore's attempt to do an Ultimate Fighter style reality show. And what a joke. Oh my god, what a joke. So it was so like it was like WC. It was a lot like Bischoff and TNA, like all the stuff Spike and Vicom would do with Delatour was like these just these attempts of oh wait worked before, let's just do it again, and it just doesn't work again. Try another power mom, saveman of the word naked choke, Tass screaming, get risk control, Bully to counter it wrist control. So Tas has picked that one up. Saban rallies with an inzaguri, tears off the vest of a bully ray and then hit him of the full death Valley Driver. Impressive shows strength there, especially on those surgically repaired knees. I liked that. That's what it is, removing removal of the cut? Does it? Oh? Yeah, it takes a lot of weight off um. By the way, so earlier there was a there was a headbut by Bubba and uh this this uh led Taz into a world's word salad with extra dressing. Nice head but a little street style street fight style right here, a little helps kitchen, New York City and White Street a little bit Detroit, Michigan. This champione's from moldest city my rear end. Why, what's what's wrong? He's actually like Chris Saban is pretending to be from Detroit. I mean, also, what does New York City have to do with anything exactly? And what does Detroit have to do with anything? Right now? What is it? What is where anybody's from have to do with what's going on in the ring right now? I guess Bully's cut did weigh a lot, because when Saban whips him with it, he sells it big time? Does sell it? Yeah? Sounds like a fucking biker chain. Saban celebrates like an idiot, allowing Bully to recover and cut him down with the Yakuza kick that gets too Then a jumping someone drop by Bully Ray gets too. Both go up top. Bully is seated, and oh god, So I think Saban's going for a hercan run off the ropes, and I don't know, I don't know what was supposed to happen. Maybe's supposed to block it. Maybe Bully was supposed to block it with a Chris Saban hanging upside down with a block ter con Rana. But that's not what's happening. They're they're going down, and you can tell they don't want to, but they are going down, of course, and Bully has no choice but to just take off headfirst into the canvas unless he was just gonna like drop Saban at a ninety degree angle right in his fucking head from the metal rope. And it's a nasty fall, but he sells it well. He's screaming holding his shoulder. He you know, he doesn't like just chalk it up to a blown spot and move on. He sells it like that was something that just happens in the fog of war, you know. Of course, So Saban tries as we called it the cradle shock, but Bully answers with a souplex. Saban SCRAMs for the open door of the cage. Apparently just occurred to him that he could leave through the open door, but he gets dragged back in. He lifts Saban's boot, hits Brian Hepner. No um, he lifts up Saban and like a fireman's carry or whatever he's doing, a slam at Saban's boot while that's happening, hits Brian Hebner in the head. I hate that. I hate when refs get taken out by like an errand flying boot. It's so fucking ridiculous to suggest that would knock out a ref. All you gotta do to knock out a ref is knock him out of the ring and have him bang his head on the floor or like splash him in the corner or something like that, right, like an arrant punch. It's really hard for the errant like punch or limb to to really do the trick. Anyway, That's what happens here, and Bully accidentally squashes him into the cage and Saban hits it in siguri and a drop kick into the fence goes Bully top rope missile drop kick by Saban scores. He covers Bully, but there's no ref and then he decides I can go for the door even though there's no referee, and so he starts crawling very slowly, giving Ken Anderson enough time to slam the cage door in Chris Saban's head. Ken gets out of there. Here comes Rampage with some with a terrible deal where he grabs Ken Anderson by the pants and throws him off the ramp. And it's like these guys, man, when they actually know how to hit, they don't know how to pretend to hit. They just can't. It's it's yeah, yep, they can't let their bodies go because they don't know how to work a punch. It's not unlike what happened with fucking I don't know if you saw this Connor McGregor in Miami. He was invited. He was at the game and he was invited out of the floor for the halftime show, and they came up with a little stupid deal where he was gonna have a fight with the heat mascot, and yeah, he fucking dropped the mascot and followed up with a shot on the floor and the guy had to go to the hospital for real. Jesus, just you know, I mean Connor, I mean he's out of his mind anyway. But these MMA guys, they can't pull punches. They don't know how to do it. They especially know how to do it and still make it look like they're throwing punches, because the way you make a punch look like it lands and pro wrestling is never the way you would throw a punch if you were actually trying to hurt somebody in a real fight. You would never have that snap. You would never come like across the way they do. So it's like it's totally antithetical to everything an actual fighter has been taught about had to land an effective blow. I remember listening to interview RVD did where they were criticizing his punches, or he was talking about people criticizing his punches, and he was like, when I got in the business having trained in kickboxing and watching kickboxing movies and stuff, obviously inspired by Jean Claude van Dam, like those little like short punches where you don't stomp on the canvas or wing your arm way the hell out from left field. That's how you would actually punch somebody, Like, that's what you would do if you were trying to hurt somebody with a punch. But it just looks so fake and pro wrestling. It's so weird. How like punching like a boxer in a wrestling match looks fucking awful, even though that's how you punch yep. So that's definitely something that Rampage is a victim of here. And then Tito comes up behind Rampage and I shoot you not levels Rampage with the ball peen hammer. Oh god, I mean the guy looks awkward even gripping a hammer. He really does. So Tito, who Bully earlier in the show just called his hunting team Beach Bitch, is actually part of the Aces and Eights. As Bully hits a powerbomb on Saban and stacks him tough for the one two three, Bully Ray once again becomes TNA World Heavyweight Champion here at Hardcore Justice, defeating Chris Saban, new Champion. I hope you enjoyed that. A little contractual bonus they're Saban such as it is slu of actual cash, right Saban. Saban was the Lex luger of this, oh totally nWo feud. Tito walks in and it does the most awkward walking around of the ring you've ever seen, No idea what to do with his body in a wrestling contact. Tito's shirt says wrestling is real, which is interesting because well it's not. So I got a question. Remember they kept saying, how I said this already. Actually I just made a note of it. How they need to wrest the world title from Bully Ray at TNA because then it's an automatic shifting of the power in their favor. Yes, yes, Why didn't everyone, Uh, why didn't they consolidate their power when Saban won the belt? Like why does it mean so much to get the belt off Bully if he just wins it four weeks later and nothing changed? And right, exactly why why why didn't you um create some kind of legal block for him to ever obtain that title again, like it's not that hard, and if nothing else, why didn't we notice any difference when the belt was back in the TNA arena. Everything was saying Bully was allowed to do exactly what he would have done had he been the champion August twenty second. In fact, big video of Brook and Bully. So they're trying to wrap this thing up with a bow of Brooks saying he's looking in the eye and telling me he loves me. That's going to pull on all my heartstrings. But next week we have Bully saying we tell the world the truth. I love you too, Brooke. That whole thing from the phone call. Bully comes out with Tito Ortiz world titles. Back home, here we go, Tito. It sounds like everybody here tonight is really happy to see me. What what are you mad? Are you pissed off? You know something? How does it feel to have the wool pulled over your eyes again? Wow? Just as boring as the first time? Does it feel to be suckered by me? Again? I got one question for everybody? Do you know who I am? Fucking christ? I said, do you know who I am? I'm Bully Ray, I'm the president of the aces and eighths, and I am the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Notice I did not say the two time world champion because I do not recognize Chris Saban's world titled victory. It was a fluke Saban. You never beat me. I beat myself everything is now right in TNA again, which brings me to my new best friend. Do you know, Oh this is puh. This is the Hockeyton Beach, bad boy cheeto or tease? Yeah, crazy, this goes to rampage, rampage, rampage, rampage. You should have known when you signed on the diet of line to fight me on November second, it was gonna change here in this righty, He just sucks. I knocked you out once on November second. I'll do it again. It sounds like November two was in the past. I told you people, nobody does shock like me. I told you people, nobody could surprise you like me. What if you think this was a big surprise, You're gonna be shocked now. I expose the secret that me and my girl have been hiding for a long long time. It's time for the whole world to know about us. Get ready for the love of my life. Brook, Honey, get down here right now? Really? Hey, what's your VN. I'm coming through. I'm coming to Brook is his man? Squeeze right? The Brook is bullies mate, Squeeze. Let's be honest. Keep burn. Who is Big Sea Brook? I'm gonna see Brook because that is got you too. Okay, Hey, what'll who? It is? Not snuck of Cogan? I said, Brook Bullies please Brook test fuck? I said, Brook, Yes, cast Do you mean to tell me that all this time Bully Ray led us to believe those phone calls that he was talking to Brook Hogan? But in reality, Ray, why does to Brook test? Why does today sound like he was recorded later? This is good. Pays to be the champ, baby, he pays to be the chair. Why does he sound like what today's to Today's voice sounds like I just don't believe it it was recorded later? You know. I guess as far as Bully Race concerned, Like, listen, he sounds like he's in a in a studio or something. Holy. Bottom line, you shocked this all. Now that I have the hot Brook with me, now that I got the Huntingdon Beach bad boy with me, now that I got my brother ties with me, does anybody doubt that Bully Ray can ever be stopped. There's only one thing left to do, where don retire? So she spent the She took the the wedding ring in her mouth and spit it out. She did. She took it off his finger with the with her mouth, right, So that's that's the pivot. Her name's Brooke two. I never said it was Brooke. Hogan just said it was Brooke. So clever. I know. I'm I'll tell you what. I'm intrigued and I can't wait for more. Bully was talking about the genesis of the home angle. He basically said that the idea started as you should be it should be you in a knockout involved in something, and that eventually the suggestion became what about Brooke. Now. I speculated that perhaps that's because he's actually, you know, having his way with Brooke behind the scenes. But whatever, Brook Hogan, that is. Yeah, but maybe this is where they would have gone had a Brooke Hogan not been down, or if that idea had not been floated. Um, so that's how they're going to move on. Brooke Tiny is now exited the t stage. Boss. Wow, that's it. She's not She's no longer the I have to review these notes a little more carefully. Something in the back of my mind saying she may make one more appearance. I think she does make an appearance, but she doesn't sweat being involved with Bully anymore. Um, there's another East West Connection, Bully Ray and Tito Ortiz's regular Dick Murdoch Adrian Adonna's tag team here. That how exciting wherever that is? No, East West was, Yeah they were East West, weren't they? What were they called? No? They were Oh my god, Murdoca Donna's tag team. I guess maybe they were the East West Connection. People are screaming right now. I know north south makes sense? Oh north south? There you go anyway, Um, same difference now I exposed the secret. Bully says that me and my girl have been hiding for a long time. I'm like, yeah, where's velvet? She's she's otherwise occupied, and yeah, there she is. I'm pretty sure her song says sweet tea country for whatever that's worth. Great Again, it's very hand the thing, and yeah, they barely registers. I mean they cut away from it like in an instant first of all, which is always a huge flaw of TNA. Yep, they wouldn't hover on anything to let it sink in and let like what do we just see? Really they cut away immediately, But yeah, this is um, this is their hand being forced. And this is very much a symptom of what's starting to happen at TNA now, like people are abandoning ship, and even if it's not because they're getting cut, it's because they're making personal decisions like Brooke Hogan did that kind of make it untendable to keep working there going forward, right, you stopped giving a fuck. It's just so crazy. When she first came in, do you think she probably would have run it by TNA to see if she would should publicize her engagement. I would think perhaps I choose to believe that her doing that is kind of a fuck you. I don't really, I don't think. I don't think she gave a shit at all, and I don't I think her dad probably said, boyd brother, you do what you're gonna do, dude. At the same time period August twenty eight, to be specific, this article hits the Tampa Bay Times. Cox Radio fires long time hosts. Cox Radio has fired two of its longtime personalities from the hot talk station WHPTFM one or two point five The Bone, including one host who seemingly has a tense relationship with one of the station's biggest stars, Shock Chalk, Bubba the Love Sponge, Clem Matt Spice Lloyd, who hosted The Spice Show in WHPT weeknights at seven pm, and once worked as a member of Clem's radio team. Was let go Monday along with Chris Fisher, most knownly known mostly to fans by his last name as You're, blamed economics for his departure, saying he knew Cox Radio wouldn't pay a full salary to have him host his show, The Fisher Experiment, from three am to five am weekdays. Fisher had served as a morning host in an afternoon host to Cox Radio's WSUN FM ninety seven X just before that station adopted an all request format. I knew overnights were just a placeholder until they could figure out what to do with me, said Fisher, forty one, who added this was his fourth firing in a career that included stations and Tallahassee, Orlando in Daytona. Lloyd, who hasn't returned a phone call on online messaging asking for comment, posted on Twitter on Monday that budget cuts were also the reason he was given for the change. His show debuted last year when the station converted to a music less hot talk format. But Lloyd also faced tension online with his former boss, as fans and critics trade rumors that Clem interceded to have him fired. Lloyd seemed to acknowledge those rumors on Twitter Monday, posting, revenge is the best revenge, right, Bubba just checking. Officials at Cox Radio have now returned calls for comment. Do we remember boss who Spice Boy ended up being no at Lloyd ended up being the person who took the hogans tape CDs from Bubba's office at the radio. Of course, there we go. Hide the ball brother, That's right, hide my balls, dude. So it's all coming home to roost. About a decade after all that shit, Jesus heads are starting to roll. And around the same time too, we kind of forgot to emphasize this, but right around the time he reached the settlement agreement with Bubba Hogan, which basically said you can't talk about me anymore or talk about this episode anymore. Yeah, he did have one sort of radio broadcast between those two time periods where Bubba absolutely went off and said a series of things that, if true, would really I think adjust our perception of what the whole Hulk Hogan sex tape scandal was about, or at least the chronology of it. And I think this ought to be memorialized. This is according to Melzer's reporting off the radio broadcast, which of course you're not going to be able to find, even though Bubba is very much in the mode of posting old clips these days onto his YouTube page, because you know, legal settlement with whole Cogan said he couldn't say these kind of things right. He said Hogan's version that Heather kept wanting to have sex with him was not true, and said it was actually Hogan who drove him crazy about wanting to have sex with Heather. Bubba said he made a mistake in allowing it to happen, but that there were three people involved in this and all three knew what was going on. But he said Hogan was painting himself as the victim to save his image. He's a one way piece of crap who doesn't care about anyone but himself, said Clem in a tirade on Hogan the day after the suit was filed. He said Hogan was a liar. It is using the situation to try and make money. Bubba reversed on pretty much everything he said over the years, claiming that Hogan was completely delusional, saying he's convinced himself Nick was innocent in the John Graziano crash, that Brooke has talented oh shit, and bub in fact was defending Linda of all people. He also said that he knows a lot about Hogan that Hogan doesn't want out and claimed the story that Hogan met his current wife Jennifer at a health food store was made up. Yes, you're the ultimate. He paid for her. Lying showman, Bubba said, I said Hogan was a liar and is using the situation to try and make money. And again. Hogan Bubba settled their lawsuit in October twenty ninth in a sealed settlement, and in that settlement this is October twenty ninth, two thou and twelve, as we talked about on a prior episode of TENA. In fact, we read the entire settlement agreement because it eventually became public record in one of Hogan's many lawsuits related to the sex tapes. But that settlement did include a term that Bubba had to apologize to Hogan twice on the radio, admitting Hogan didn't know he was being taped when having sex with his end wife Heather, and apologized for what he said about Hogan, but he did utter them once. And I invite you to have some some fun speculating as to whether Bubba Clem was actually emboldened in those moments in a defensive posture to spit a little too much truth for the folks to handle involved. I don't know, wow. I mean, it is true that Heather Cole later said in testimony and depositions that this idea, this happen once. It is ridiculous, Like I think she said she had sex with Hogan three different times at least, but but you know, to counteract Bubba's claim that he was forced into it by Hogan, or at least Hogan kept lobbying for it. There are other videos of Bubba making her available to other men as well, and that came out. Oh he's he's he's very much. I know I've heard about him. He's a swinger, you know, he's he's very into that, and it's a one way swinging thing. It's not like he's out there pounding. Yeah, impact August twenty nine. Swinging is weird because like it, it doesn't necessarily mean you'd get anything. It could just very well exactly what you're talking about. Like he he loves watching right his wife get fucking boned right exactly. So they show um Brooke Testmocker's ass up on Bully and this is the new thing, you know, Brooke Testmoker's ass. Yea yea, you have this and this How bad could anything be? He says, let's go to the ring, takes it by the hand, and Bully comes out to the ring. Now he's in a really bad mood. Divon is no longer here or they cut Dmon. He's gone, oh my god, I love it. I fucking love it. Bye bye, and he says he's always been my co star, my sidekick. He did what I told him to do. I never need a Divon and I never will again. He points to Tito and says that's the only man I need right there, and Ken Anderson grabs the mic says, are you out of your mind? We don't vote run here anymore. You just patch people in whenever you feel like a patch as a verb patch. He's such a runner on a fucking switchboard. In nineteen forty eight, Tito gets Divon's cut and tears Devon's main patch off of it, and Bully calls Brook testmok are the only Brook that has ever mattered in my life. Later on, we see Velvet Sky paired with Chris Sabin on t television. That's bizarre. Hogan Brother into the office Jason Hervey with the interview. You've been gone for a while. What's your thoughts on Bully getting the title back and the whole Brook situation? Everything you want to know? Hulk responds, will be dressed in that ring tonight because he's got a huge announcement. Later, aj Styles comes out showing some fire. Now he's not just acting all moody and like unemotional. He's kind of slapping hands again, so you can tell their trying to reinvigorate him. They chant for him. Says he's worn the suit and tie before and it's just not him. Over the past year, I kind of developed and trust issues. The only person aj Styles can trust is Alan Jones used his real name. So this is shooting, He says, I am with no one, which is apparent. He's standing in the middle of the ring alone. Yes, although I love what I do, I guess that you know he didn't need to fucking remind me I'm not blind. Although I love what I do in this ring. He says, I have to understand, this is just a job. You've had, that job. You've had that job that just playing sucks driving a truck, a secretary where you get shafted by upper management when your hardest working man in the building. That's I mean, maybe people like driving trucks man, right, That's kind of one of the reasons to drive a truck is that you don't have to have a boss breathing down your neck every day. You're on the road so often, you know, you have a lot of freedom in a way. Yeah, listen to the laps fan exactly. Hey Mike, he says over to Tonay, I deserve better. They cut to Tenay like kind of zip in his lip, knowing that that's true. Hey Dixie, AJ says, I deserve better. Here we go, I deserve better. I've been your go to guy for the past eleven years, and for what So you can bring in the next big star, the next big thing, and we can all watch him fail or that new direction you were talking about that didn't go anywhere. There. I was to bail this company out so many times in the past year. I prayed to God you would just fire me, so I didn't have to quit. But what did I do? I stayed here. They're turning on him because, like most of these people out here, I have a family and I need to take care of them. I came to this ring and I said, they're turning on him. The crowd is starting to boo this whole thing about how he just prayed to be fired and everything. AJA says. I came to this ring and I started tapping people out and they start channing. I swear to God, wrap it up, wrap it up. They do not want to see an AJ like, you know, just decrying what TENA has become like. They don't want that. Just make it better and prove it tomorrow instead of like this whole preamble of acknowledging it sucks, which never is a good idea for a wrestling company to do an angle like that. I know, I know. Whenever Vince has come out and said the rating suck and I want to shake things up, it's always like so depressed, right, It's like, what have we been waiting for? What the fuck have you been doing this to us for? If you knew it's right, if you know, if you know ratings are low, and you know that the product obviously is not working, then why haven't you changed before? And also why are you telling me right? Just do it? Yeah, I don't need to know. It's like they want credit before they actually do anything right, and it's not working here for AJ Styles, he says, I like being your your go to guy. I like being the guy that you need to depend on to deliver the goods that can steal the show, that can send these fans happy home, happy thinking they got their money's worth. The question is AJ says, Can I still be that go to guy? He says, you better believe it. Can I still take this company on my shoulders? The weight of this company on my shoulders? You're damn right I can. Can I go on and win the boundforl Glory series and becoming your new heavyweight champion and he drops the mic AJ's back, boss, He's back. Later would say that they knew he would go out there and express similar sentiments, but they did not know exactly what AJ was going to say in this shoot style interview. So wow, alright, the whole thing about bringing in the next new star and this new vision that went nowhere, those are some direct shots. Sure, those are sort of you know, three years of frustrations that we've chronicled here on TNH coutely is Aj gets a little bit of a chance to express those emotions. Later, Randi beats Bobby Rude with an inside cradle to advance in the Bound for Glory series hashtag Hulk is back, it says on my television screen, and Hulk Cogan's making his way out on Impact. Where was he today? Says after being away from Impact with dealing with TNA execs, Oh my god, I can't I can't stand with the Spike TV Network execs. Dealing with lawyers, he says it dealing with lawyers. Ul Cogan has answers for all the questions we've had for the past several weeks. I'm like, what are they talking about. Hulk takes the corner and leans back, and they shower with cheers, sciences. Hulk, I am your brother. They're all doing the I'm not worthy bowing to the holster. Yeah, it's really one last moment of it's type for Hulk and TNA. They're in Cleveland, Ohio, by the way, and grabs and Mike and says, it sounds like it missed me while I was gone, Brothers, I've been really busy last couple of weeks and while I've been taking care of business. Oh I think it is from August twenty nine. Yes, yeah, all right, I got this one. It sounds it sounds like, yeah, missed me while I was gone, Brothers. Well, you know, I've been a really really busy guy the last couple of weeks, and why been taking care of business. The TEENA stars have been going crazy, tear it up with hardcore justice and at the end of the day, it's great to be back right here with the impact wrestling fans rocking a brand new pair a Peter Petter Jordan's right here in Cleveland, Ohio, Pitter Patter. What now he's wearing a pair of Mickie Jordan's. Okay, Hogan discovers sneaker culture. Yes, now, onto my first order of business, how has to be the bound for Glory series. So when someone out in the truck pull up the leaderboard on the video wall for me, brother, all right, maniacs business, how it stands. That's where everybody's at right now, and those are your top four And on September twelfth, you know what, guys, everybody's going to Saint Louis for no surrender. But you know I've changed the game a little bit because when I talked about doing business, I was doing some hardcore wrestling business. And no landscape is changing on right as we speak. Specific with the Spike Execs, we decided the series deserves one more match still, brothers. That's why next week we're gonna have a gauntlet match right here for twenty points in any of the original twelve in the Bound for Glory have a chance to step up taken all, win the match and be in the final four. And no surrender. Well that's huge, Ques announcement. Well that's bigger right now, onto my next order of business. Yes, the multi chapter Howking promo rum hind hain't moten tagging down Baba sucking on the twot of that. I'm eating biscuits and wandering round eating trash and smelling sounds exactly. I missed you a lot, miss a lot, Mitchell. It's not in the same here without you. I mean a lot is gone on. Chince your god, Hulk, I mean I have this again, that being the world title. Yep, you know pretty shocked, ain't you? You know what I've been really waiting to do, Hulk, I've been waiting to introduce you to this little lady. No, Brother, you can shut it down right there, if you know what I'm saying. Brother, at the end of the day, she couldn't bumm a rush off me, brother, Rush, I've watched your brother charade and at the end of the day, Brothers, you know I've been taking care of business, not only a rush but personal business, dude. And you know more than anybody would I've been up to. So instead of playing the charade out, even without your authority, without your signature, a little bit of time, brother, and a whole lot of money, I gotta set of divorce papers for your brother right there. That's the final final blue Nah, it's over, that's done. Knew nothing you can say about it. My beautiful Brook is moving on with her life, whether you like it or not. Dude, h o again again again again. You think I care about divorce papers, brother, You think I care about your daughter? Brother, cared about your da daughter. I did something that no other man has done to your daughter in a come. I used her, brother, I used her to get this. I used her, I used you, I use sting, I use all of your Hulka schmuckle maniacs, all of them. I got exactly what I want. I got Tito Lorts, I got the Aces and Eights, and I'm on cruise controlled. Daddy. Oh, I don't have to do crap until Bound for Glory. I'm sitting back and watching it all on fold. Jack, Do you know who I am? Maybe you didn't hear me. Do you know who the hell I am? Brother? I run this show around here, not you, Jack. And at the end of the day, I'm gonna give you something right now that you will care about. Just the way you use my family, the ways you tried to tear us apart, I'm gonna use you and your family, brother, and I'm gonna start tearing you apart at the seams, because in two weeks, Brother Bullie Ray is gonna defend the world heavyweight title in the main offend. I guess one of his family members in the Aces of Eight. Brother? You kidding me? What? What who is it talking about? Doesn't work? You can't you can't do that, Hopeful, I renews. I don't accept. I ain't fight by brothers. I ain't doing it. You don't have the authority to do it. I ain't doing it. I tell you, like I said, I run the show, and in two weeks you're gonna defend that belt against one of your family members and aces and eights. And by the way, you're also gonna defend the belt this week against your next opponent. Brother, Let me introduce you to the man they call Staying. Oh, I guess there's gonna be pasting. What a Fully Ray? Wait a minute, what the hell? No, no, no, no, no, this can't happen. And here sard Stay and Bully Ray substract. What a visit count between these two Staying taking it right to the fully Remember ladies and gentlemen. Next week, not only Staying versus Bully Ray, but the troupe man got Stay till fight Master is not. I mean, this is where we're going. Sting chasing the side. Yes, um, I thought Sting could never get a title shot again. Yeah, I mean does that matter? Apparently not. Hogan said, this week you're wrestling Sting. It's next week. We're starting to lose our grip. Oh he's I know, he's fucking losing it, man, he's losing it. Fiximation of what happened in that match as we turned the calendar over to September of twenty thirteen, September fifth impact to be exact. According to The Observer, Ray cuts a promo reminding sting you could never get a title shot. That brought whole held out, so they did acknowledge it. Here I got, I got that whole thing here. Shut out and shut up. I got something to say. All right, let me remind you of one thing. This is a non title match. Remember slam Aniversary. Remember when I beat you? Remember when I beat you? And the stipulation was you could never wrestle for this again. While you ain't gonna too damn bad, screw you and screw your best friend holding. Oh come on, well, Molly, what is he's gonna have to do? What's the general manager? What what I'm moving out here for? It is the eighth general manager of the heap wrestling that twice out here as he cut enough damage, So it has to say, Bully Ray, do you know who I am? Well, in case you forgot, I run the show around here, and you've been taking things from me and my family for quite a while. So now it's time for your receipt. As of now, your muscle Tino Ortez, the Huntington Beats bad Boy is no longer allowed at ringside. Brother, Yes, so security, do me a favor in escort out mister Ortez, gracefully please. That's the way to make things fair around here. Why Christ said they've got to get more security. Muscle's gotta gonna ho Teito, don't stufing knocking people out. Security insisting. But because of Hope's ruling, Tito orteeze dead from ringside. You can't just go out here and pull that track. Good. Who the hell do you think you are? I think maybe you know who I am now. And if you didn't like that, you're really really not gonna like this, bully right now, I'm changing this too. I no disqualification match. Brother. Well, now wait a minute, Hulk, that's an outreach. That's wrong. How great is it to have whole poking bath on you pack wrestling? It's not great at all. He hasn't gone that long, thinks like three weeks off in the summer, and the act like we haven't seen him in eighteen months. So in the match, Anderson comes out grabs the title belt in microphone cuts a promo on ray because what happened was Sting had Bully Ray in the scorpion deathlock, and Ken Anderson came out and teased that he was going to pass the hammer to bully Ray, but then he pulled it back and tossed it into the corner, causing Bully step out. Yeah right, So am I wrong about this? I don't. I don't. I don't think anyone cares. Really. Actually it's a bigger issue. Um. Yes, Anderson and grabbed the title belt and microphone cut a prom one. Right, here's here's the I got the end of this fucking annoying. So it's not it takes me non title. You're right, it's non title because he can't ever, I can't, right, Yeah, I can't care. I mean that that we're just sting. Sting can't either. So I'm the guy that's gonna face you next week for this title. Wait what, I'm your worst nightmare. I'm the next World of Heavyweight Champion from the Queen Bay, Wisconsin, and my name mine ist S. He's really gravelly just what we've been waiting for, Ken Anderson back in the world title picture. It's as if we're back when we started. When fucking true, I don't know. I don't know. Well, it's clear that Bischoff is now gone because the aces Nates is being blown up every week, and clearly they're moving on, moving past that. September twelfth impact, Ray and Brooke came out for promo. Brooke test Mocker, of course, that is Brooke. Hogan now gone as well, saying he was gonna forgive him when Hogan comes out. I don't know if you have anything from this, but Hogan comes out and they go back and forth. This is the Bubba promo, and then Hogan comes out. Yeah, I'm a twelve Oh oh, I got this one. Would be nice to walk rig champ but yes, HOI. Ray just observed the slow, stubborn decline eights last week. Not happy the world champion, the president of paces and eights. Yes, accompanied by his bain squeeze Brook. There'll be a big night here, baby, big night off. Right now. I am in a very bad movie, dude, so it's in everybody's best interest. Cannot piss me off. And let me say what I gotta say. Things within my family have an exactly been going right as of late reading my vice president hain't on the same page. But Ken, I'm Ken. I'm willing to forgive you. Ken, I'm willing to forgive you because at the end of the day, all of our problems are because of one man and one man only, and that is that piece of crap hulk Holden. You're gonna miss it when it's gone. Speaking of that one man and that one messing up what his brother? I don't know, wild Wild, here's the general manager, but none none uh burna wan no wana wo. My knees a freezing, my water's quivering, my ears a burning. Didn't something idiot out here mentioned my name? Well? You know, the first thing I'd like to do is let everybody know welcome to No Surrender and thanks to Spike TV, it's free and it's life, and thank god it's happening right here in Saint Louis, Missouri. I think about that. You know, there's a lot of business at hand to night, but I promise you may ask. By the end of the night, we're gonna know what the main event is for Bound for Glory. But before we get there, instead of placing the blame one where be a big cry baby. You should be worried about defending your world heavyweight title against one of your brothers brother, brother, brother, you know something. You are the reason why there's problems with the aces and eights. I know my brother Ken Anderson, He's gonna do the right thing. Like I said, you should be worried about putting your world heavyweight tied up against one of your own family members, one of your brother's brother. That's what you need to worry about tonight. I mean, he's saying my brother to come out here right now and tell me face to face. Can't hanna hand at an all? How hanging here I come. I'm sticking it up my finger bottom. I'm eating ham and cheese and I want to go to sloth higging again. Who knows? In the ight? Now playing the car hens brother her eating the bottom of the oister shell and wondering how I can go my rod. Now it's chases inde. Notice how he did not shake your hand I told you. Notice how he turned his back on you. This our colors, Oh, it's stronger than you will ever be, can you? All you gotta do is apologize, and it's over. I just gonna apologize. It's over. I don't care about what happen, Neither do I yeah. It's also you're not over. You're absolutely right. I was on a line, brother, I was on a line and I can't it can wait to get out light tonight? What then there will be? Ain't world a heavyweight champion? Time and dten wait for it, wait for it and D side and by good luck with no surrender tonight, brother, because the World Heavyweight title match is now an official last man standing match. Brother, only mister gas, mister there help us. We're losing losing control. I mean he's saying, brother, the way we say brother, this like there's no reason, there's no like you know, it's it's ridiculous. Well, I mean, when you know you're leaving, why not just make a total mockery and of every segment you're in, why not be self effacing. I mean there's just there's just no spirit to this stuff. Now. It's just like, oh, it's a disaster. Guy comes out, challenges this guy, Hohogan adds a step. We go next week, same thing, rinse, repeat. I mean Anderson, like he hasn't been a threat or a challenger at a high level in this company for like two years. He hasn't been interesting in two years and he's reading now with bullying, and he's just all he's doing is the mister Anderson. That's the only thing he's saying at him, right right, there's no real there's no real story here. Also, there hasn't been. I mean it's been it's been building for like what two weeks? Maybe? Yeah, it's lame. It's fucking lame. Later, Hogan is giving t. J. Perkins or Manic a pep talk. Who's well, I don't know who this clown is. I don't know who the fuck this clown is, but here you're on fire shamp what's been happening with me? But something clicked because when you put that mask on, he reminds me a whole commania dude, when I hold up brother, doing what you're doing? Brother, Yeah, thank you very much. It's amazing. I don't know what it is, but you're right, I don't know. Just takes me to a whole new level. That's why I gotta ask you. I want to test myself. I want Jeff Hardy, Brother, Jeff Hardy could be in trouble with what's going on with you. Now it's a done deal, man, Let's make that happen. Oh hard Hey, working everywhere for you. I really need to talk to him and cut in. Hi. Guess what. And I got a call from the Villatur attorneys earlier today and they are pulling Rampage and Tito from our show. They've been watching the last couple of weeks, felt like it escalated more than they expected. They got to protect their pay per view for no Romber second, and so that's where we're at. I'm fine with it. You know, I'm done Tito and all his dramas. Heart's true. So maybe after November second, he's just fee Tito to Rampage on a silver platter. Well. I talked to him, and he certainly wouldn't happy about this decision, but I think he'd be happy with that. Good, that's done. Okay, that's how they explained why Tito rampage. I'm going to be an impact anymore. So they're on for like two weeks and then mets it. Yeah, they clearly had some idea of like a tag match or some kind of match, But I don't blame him for pulling the plug. Frankly, it's it was doing nothing but harming the actual attempts to build up like a significant grudge between Rampage and Tito, which is the may business. Like, if you're gonna draw money with the match, you need to convince people these guys hate each other and if they're an impact like buddy buddy play fighting each other, it's it's not going to serve anybody. It's not the kind of promotion you want for an MMA fight. Why they let him have him the beginner, it's a great question. I think they probably didn't know how bad it would come off until they saw them try to do it. I mean the ankle face off. They could have done that match it bound for glory and it would have been great, but they got cute with it, and they were like, well, let's find a way instead of having Rampage to do something different and independent from what he's doing in MMA and wrestling, Let's have the wrestling stuff you do serve to promote an upcoming MMA fight, this November second match with he to Ortiz. And that's just that's just a non starter. That's just not how you use wrestling. Use wrestling to build a guy up and his characteristics and create an intrigue about how he would do in a real fight, But you don't have him feud with the guy he's going to have a real fight with on the wrestling show. You don't do that, right because it just there's no mistique there. So you have, you have all that happening, and that's just so TNA another thing. You know, things are just that's my point, Like apples are rotting on the tree and they're falling off, whereas they've been rotting for three years, but they haven't fallen off the tree. Now this is like that point where like it can't hold right, Like, yeah, the trees just like dying, right. Yeah. People just aren't sticking around to see what's going to happen next. US and Nights produced almost nothing, and Brady's still trying to browbeat them bully faces Anderson of course in the main event on this show, and the Aces and Nates come out, they help Anderson to his feet and then Brooke test Mark. Yeah, the only good thing about this whole thing is, honestly, I did get a little I got a look excited about about Anderson getting up twice out for the ten count, right, Yeah, you know, beating the ten count a couple of times. I really I like that. Yeah, I like that. I thought it was pretty good. I mean it made me care about him, even though I don't care at all, but like I was like, oh shit, like right, especially when it's out matched by a heel stable. But why is he coming out wearing his fucking that's it man? You know his clothes like the Roman reigns is the example. Like, you can't dress like a fucking idiot and get over. You can't dress like like you're in a costume. You have to dress like you're in gear. There's a huge difference. If you're going to be a man. There is singles, guy, there is I don't know. Maybe Ken Anderson's body isn't what it used to be and he doesn't look right in a set of trunks, but guess what that means you shouldn't be in the main event. I mean, I don't really care much, but don't expect me to care about Ken Anderson as much as I used to when he's wearing a T shirt of vest and jeans. Just you know better than that, mum. But yeah that despite hinting they might side with Anderson, the other Races Nates members ultimately do not. They power bomb the shit out of him. Ray spears him through a table and Bully Ray leaves still world champion. And this is pretty much wrapping up the entire Races Nate's storyline because they've been fractured to the point that there's so few members left and they've already done the angle where you know, the VP turns on the group and is now outside of the group, that the clock is ticking on the whole idea and the Bound for Glory Series finals, AJ styles versus Magnus. AJ of course still building that campaign and that Workshoot interview that he launched to win the Bound for Glory Series and reclaim his rightful spot as the standard bearer and the hood ornament of TNA. And in this match, um AJ grabs the calf Killer, the calf slicer. AJ knocks him down with a series of elbows, hits, the spiral tap, I mean machine, what's that the veal machine? What's the veal machine? He said, the calf Killer. Yes, he's the feel machine. You should try that on calf Zilla Bully Race. He would happen. Maybe he will. He does Bound for Glories a matter of fact, as it's going to be from now on whenever, whenever AJ puts on the calf crusher. Thing's going to be the veal machine, big celebration for Aja. Afterwards, his magnus goes to Lookers Wounds and fight Another day. AJ cuts a promo celebrating his win and says Dixie Carter had not responded to the pointed crittique he had of her reign and leadership in that last promo and said, you know, if I don't hear from you, something's going to happen. He's basically being cryptic about it, and he wants to talk to Dixie next week. So the winner of the Bound for Glory series is AJ Styles, and they're basically trying to put on television what is very much happening between T and A and AJ Styles behind the scenes as he is now entering a territory where he's working without a contract, heading into the main event of the top show of the year to win the championship, and there's a lot of lack of communication going on between the sides. Um both sides kind of want to indicate to the other, right, I can't they don't need any good. I can't believe by the way that Hogan that they didn't have Hogan locked up in a contract until Bound for Glory. By the way, well they had him, Yeah, they signed him in twenty ten, and the length of that deals is coming up. It's just weird, Like but you'd think you'd think to your you're but you're but you gave him until like a week before the show. Well yeah, you'd think you'd think you'd say, you know what you gotta you're here until the Bound for Glory pay per view. Well, it's not that, it's what the original contract called for. It has to have an end date. I know that. But you'd think that they would put down, you know, the Bound for Glory. I mean they presume you're gonna do Bound for Glory every year. Yeah, well, what's what's a problem. No one's gonna agree to that, because what if they canceled Bound for Glory. You know, it has it has to be a date. It can't be a an event. Has to be a date. And it's I I guess, But again I would think, you know, you've got you got him. You know October I mean, right, Bound for Glory every year is October, right, right, I'm gonna put October thirty first. The presumably that Bound for Glory would be there. But I mean again, they probably don't care at this point. Anyway, probably we have enough notice by then if he's going to stick around, because it's not like they wait until that day to approach him to resign, right, you start months out and by the time that comes, it's just weird because you know, I'm sure you know, even though I know the numbers you know, aren't changing for him, I'm sure there are fans who are like hoping him for that he's going to appear at Bound for Glory. Absolutely, yeah, I mean I was surprised. I honestly was surprised that it didn't that it didn't make it to Bound Bound for Glory. It was it was a surprise to the wrestling world writ large, because, yeah, there was a little bit of a smattering of speculation that Hogan and Dixie were far apart and John Gaburick were far apart on a new deal. But if you read like the sheets around this time, it's like people were not braced for Hogan leaving, Like people weren't braced for that infamous scene where Dixi's hugging his leg is actually being talking appearance. I'm not even sure that TNA expected that to be They knew for at least a little while it would be a period of time to write Hogan off the show, but the idea that he would never ever come back to TNA after that, I think took a lot of people by surprise. In retrospect, people didn't realize how much of a dire situation it was in terms of him re upping. As we talked about in the Laser Spine Institute deposition, Hogan talks about meeting with Dixie and John Gaburick and them trying to exercise an option on his contract to extend it into twenty fourteen. Well, the option existed, however, they want to come to him with a two year option extension, and Hogan's coming back with I want to be paid extra for a match, which pretty sure he wasn't for like the twenty eleven Pound for Glory or the matches he worked in in the winter of twenty twelve in England, or the March eighth match of two ten an Impact with Abyss and Snyder and Abyss and Styles and Flare. But you know that's the thing, Like that's the game, Oh you know, just because I did it doesn't mean I have to do it right. And you know, it's a pretty good read. One of our patrons pointed out that, you know what it could have been was the reason Tenna was an interest in exercise in that one year option like they did with Bishop, was because that would force them to continue to pay Hogan a million and a half dollars right, Whereas if they got them to agree in a new two year option, perhaps that would be packaged in a way where the comp would be a bit lower. And that's all it is. I mean, that's what happens with all these guys that leave around this time, is they want to pay them a lot less, or at least they come in with such a low ball offer to start that the guys feel really like this, this is a sinking ship. Like if that's their first volley, sure, I'm not going to settle there, But wherever I end up, I'm not going to be happy if that's they're starting point. Right right September nineteenth, impact they're playing up aj saying he's going to confront Dixie after having won the tournament. Says Dixie Carter, this is your wake up call. Dixie's very much back on television. I hope to believe that it requires this sound, just over and over again, week after week here on TNH. She's never too far in the background. Holt goes into Dixie's office. She opens the door, Dixie, what's going on with AJ? So fucking weird? Like she's just on her phone. She is hold on a second, so she's trying to be healed. Now. I take all the characteristics of people that didn't like her backstage and put them on television, like somebody who is hopelessly obsessed with what people are saying about her on social media, posting and texting and just looking at her phone. I think I think she's such as it was in two and thirteen. So she says, when Hogan's trying to get her attention, I'd love to handle this for you, this whole AJA thing, And she basically blows him off and says, I appreciate it, but I got this one, thanks, And she walks by him and he makes eyes like jeez, what am my chopped liver? And no one makes that face like, oh seriously understanding here to like WHOA like? I'm just left thinking, like, well, I guess I guess I'm not need you know, dude, what Bully comes out with Brooke, test Maker and their chaps and some of the other brothers and nieces of eights, and that would be nuts Garrett, Garrett Bishop, and West Briscoe. Okay, let me ask you a question. Bully says, it does the whole thing. Bully, Ray, you know who I am. The reason I continue to be world champion, he says, is because he used Sweetheart. He says to test Maker. The others thought he was going to credit them for that as her Brookie, the wind beneath his wings. The way you drilled Anderson writing the nuts for me was amazing. Bully goes to West, what's the problem. Two minutes ago you're smiling and now you're hard, He says, book test Marker is standing right there. Bully, I know it's true. West. We've done everything for this West screams back at him. We've done everything for this club. Bully says, shut your mouth. Don't you ever refer to her as just her again. That's my Brook my girls. A matter of fact, don't even look at her anymore. All right, Eric Bischoff grabs the mic. He's got a point, Bully, have you forgotten. He's here with you since day one. Night after night, Garrett hasn't been Garrett has a faxhawk. Oh oh can't. That's wrong with this fucking moron. Ever since he came along her, she came along, your judgment and priorities have been way out of whack, he says to Bully, and then, of course Bully calls him bish. He says, don't you ever, any ever blow up on me like that again. Bully is pretty good playing the role of a guy who's trying to scream while his empire crumbles. You know sure, that's yeah. He plays a great He plays a great oafish baby. I made you, I made you. You were nobody before I brought you in. If you stop out of line again, I'll smack you in the face and then Nuck steps up. What about me, Prez? You want to let me in the face? Two? I've had a member of this for a year and a half, knocks. Mike Knox has been in Aces and eights for a year and a half, and just look at the career progression he's experienced in that time. It's long. And did this aces and eights thing launch careers? You got a big mouth, and maybe I'm the guy to shut it for you, he says to Bully. We sacrifice night after night waiting for you to get into trouble to save you and keep the belt in the club. After the first year and a half, what did we have twenty five members in the beginning? Now we're down to four? What does that say about your leadership? Bully? Look in the mirror basin and who cares? Seriously, who fucking cares about this garbage club is falling apart now. This company is knocks all for club business, for the good of the club. For the last year it's been Bully Ray's business, not the club's business. You don't care what we had to say. You forgot about the first rule of this club, bros before hoes? Is that what he did? He say that? Yes, he's fucking said it. On television in twenty thirteen, a full grown man said that what do you eighth grade? Now? Nucks? The beer in college, the flannel, the boots, the jeans, the no dollars drawn brook test MARKO of course takes exception to all this, and Bully shoves nuts. Let me explain something, Nucks. Nuxie tells a nuxie, can I can I find the ads here? If everyone showed up? If you ever step on the line again and refer to my beautiful girlfriend as a hoe and they all go ho, I will knock the head off and the beanie comes off and he shows fire or no one cares tas like what's going on here? And Bully bounces jump cut to Sting and he's just like, well, Kurt's gone, Rampage is off training. So now the Miniment Mafia has three members. Such a fucking I'm telling you it's the tree is rotten. The tree is rotten. The leaves are not growing back in like they do every tree. Na, you got it right. It's just three of us now, But it doesn't matter because we're main event Mafia and you are Magnus. Don't forget who we are. Joe says, I already did my God. Later, Bobby Rood hits Magnus with a bat and pins him in a six man tag. Who cares? AJ comes out to his country music Mix's dropped the leather jacket, Hoodie. I got this one for us all because this is this is whord. Thanks start getting interesting hashtag AJ Dixie. I've been here since day one in Nashville, Tennessee, in the asylum, busting my butt with a band of brothers, just trying to make this an alternative for you to watch, just trying to put this company on the map. But poof it happened. Dixie Carter's daddy thought herr arrass company. No blood, no sweat, and no experience in wrestling at all, no blood. About the problem is it's that she broke up the chemistry that made TNA what it was. She broke up the chemistry. Guys, that was the problem all because she had stars in her eyes. And what happened to those stars? What happened to those X Division stars? What happened to Jerry Lynn, What happened to Loki? I'll tell you what happened to those guys. Dixie Carter traded him in for MMA stars and guys who apparently needed two your paid vacation to come down to TNA, do absolutely nothing and go back where they belong. Oh brother, Oh dude, whoa dude, let's brother, let's dial this thing in. Dude, Hey for one, I'll tell you so that Alex Shelley couldn't be here, so Jay linthol couldn't be here, brother Williams. All these great wrestlers are not here because of that very thing. And it pisses me off. Me too, am I the only one's not pissed off about this? Not pissed off they are. But the problem is a j It's too late, right. But here's your biggest mistake, Dixie. Your biggest mistake is staring you right in the face. You see. You given me the opportunity to win your world heavyweight title. And despite what the Internet says, I don't have a contract here. That's a shoop. And believe you me when I say this, Dixie, there's not a contracted wrestler back there that hates any respect for you anyway. All those band of brothers that you picked off one by one, you left one standing. I'm gonna win that world heavyweight title. I'm gonna win it, and I'm gonna win it for me, I'm gonna win it for those band of brothers. I'm gonna win it for you and Dixie. I'm gonna make you get on your knees and begg whoa. At the end, I'm gonna make you pay, brother, brother, I'm sorry. This was the interview where they didn't know what it was gonna say. Okay, bringing up Jay Leuth ownership and say Hogan was that this is JJ styles that we have never ever seen before. And now the outspoken AJ about to come face to face with TENA president Dixie Carter. Yeah, this is a little this is crazy out here. What's going on? This is this is crazy. We'll say something, you know, I expected a tweet or something. We all know you can do that. You can get any response from them. Say something. I've known you a long time a J. And I know, I know honestly that for you to come out here and say these kind of things in this public way, that you mean them from the bottom of your heart. And I'm sorry. As president of this company, this company, I have to be accountable. I hold myself accountable. I'm accountable tarn investors, to the professionals that work in this ring, to my staff, to these fans, and a J. I am accountable to you, and I owe you an apology, and I'm sorry. I am so so sorry. Oh God, I ever ever ever allowed you to think this company, and I should have told you a long long time ago, never been anything more than a little bit better than an average fish in any pond. And you hear what I mean, any pond you might be in AJ and this whole phenomenal one stuff. It's an illusion, and by the way, an illusion that I created a marketing gimmick for all of those wonderful five star matches that you used to have. And I say used to have it, because I can't freaking remember the last time you had one. I don't know what else. Everything about you lately in front of the camera, behind the camera and the fuck harus has been so subpar that you would be lucky if we call you the marginal one, because I swear you are nothing. You are nothing like you used to be. Nothing. Oh why did everybody pleaseman? I am thankful to you, honestly, thank you so much for allowing me to come into my ring on my show and have a chance to respond to all of the crap you have criticized me about in the last few weeks. And I hope now maybe we're a little bit more crystal clear and on the same page. By the way, without my daddy's paycheck, you would still be in a trailer and this house that AJ Styles built and all these people always talk about. Guess what. Dixie Carter built that house. She owns it, and you are lucky, lucky, lucky to ever have played did you hear me? Hey Dixie, before you go, why don't you put that microphone where it belongs? Oh, brass bottles right now. Show it's not over, kiddo, that's the problem. And they cut the show that abruptly. She grabs a headset from one of the cameramen starts screaming into it to communicate with the truck, and they cut the signal. I don't want to be a mark, but that sounds to me like a woman who has lost her fucking marbles. Oh no shit. I know she's doing the character and she's trying to be a heel authority figure, but the fact that she's willing to go there after cultivating this image for years of being like this fan friendly, best foot forward, great inner room, great sort of public soft face of TNA, great sweet talking, you know, Southern charm, and that she's just saying, fuck it, I'm just gonna I mean, everyone knows that Heel Vince McMahon is the real Vince McMahon, right, And anybody who thought they knew Vince before they saw that character, realized that all that was was just him repressing those instincts right, and making sport out of repressing his inner monologue. That's why we've had so much fun over the years at TLF with his inner monologue through things like this American work. Dixie's the same thing. I would submit to you that what we just heard there is the real Dixie Carter agreed. Is what she says in her heart of hearts when no one's listening. And now she's decided that that's perhaps just one page they haven't taken yet out of a successful wrestling angle playbook. It's time to do the Vince thing. And it just it strikes me as something she would never consider if the Hogan value proposition was still a viable thing in her head, if presenting Hulk Cogan is an actual catalyst for TNA was still a real thing to her. This, to me, is a capitulation, a symbolic capitulation to all of the promises she made to herself and to the TENA locker room when she brought in Hulk Cogan in two thousand and nine. Is this is the mental lapse, This is the snapping that happens, and now we're doing workshoot angles and God help us as to what happens next. Ah, it's so deplorable. September twenty six, Impact Dixie's walking backstage thing comes up to her in a suit. He says, Hey, Dixie, she's looking at her phone, not paying attention. Hi. Well, I see you've got your phone with you, which you means you got my texts, but I didn't get a response. Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this to AJ? I mean, I mean why why? Why? Why are they doing this to us? She looks at him with the expensive purse hanging on her arm. He says, that's not the Dixie Carter I know. She says, I'll tell you what. Don't worry fixes the lapel in his jacket. You don't worry about Dixie Carter because she's got this one handled. Promise all right, I won't worry about her. Bully and Brooke Today says the clock is sticking on Bully's world title reign, as he's got to defend against AJ bound for glory. Everything is coming to an end. Yes, you know, it's not often that I'm at a loss for words, but I gotta tell you, Dick Carter shocked the hell out of me. I mean, last week, did you hear the way she put AJ in his place? Ever since AJ won the Bound for Glory series, I've been up long at night thinking about how I'm gonna beat AJ. I'm gonna power bomb them, pile drive him. I ain't gotta worry about that anymore. Dixie Carter is so inside the head of AJ Styles and ain't even funny. I think you people would agree that AJ s Haud kissed the ground Dixie walks on right now. I don't always see eye to eye with that lady, but she is the one that made a J phenomenon. If it wasn't for Dixie, AJ couldn't perform in this ring in front of all of you morons. I guess no one would hire AJ Styles if TNA didn't. I guess Aces and Eights music hits again. Knucks Wes. Oh yeah, you're supposed to be the president and you're out here taking care of Bully Ray business. You're more worried about keeping the title than checking this club than the men in it, the men still in it. You worry more about your hoe than you do about your bros. Brother, Bully, I'm going to tell you this one time and one time only, do not call her Roje they do it again, Nuck says, Tonight, we're going to take care of club business US three, not you. Bully says you better stand in line and get in line and knock that smirk off your face. Bischoff. You guys don't make the rules that's in this club. That's why my patch as president and yours should say, lackey, I make the rules around here. Knucks, looking like a fifteen hundreds Spanish explorer, fall in line. If you want to start making decisions around here without me, fine, but you lose this match tonight and it's going to be lights out for one of you. And when I mean lights out, Bully says, I mean one of you out of my club, all right? Is that a problem? Can I just can? I can I volunteer? Hey? You know, out of your club? Rememb when they brought back Eric and pretended they're actually going to treat him with respect because the fans liked him. Now I can lockdown. Yeah, he's back to comedy stuff with Joseph Parks, who isn't abyss anymore. By the way. That was just one time, right, And this is the final series of interactions between Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter, not only on TNA television, but in real life. Ever, as far as we can tell, Hulk comments on the AJA remarks and says, well, you know, I couldn't believe what I heard, and I had to read through the transcripts. Hogan again in the frame of mind, is him out him out in the crowd? Yeah? Or is this backstage? I think it's backstage, said in the crowd, did you want afford the people? No, that's not this yep, okay, but he says quickly, I have to read through the transcripts again. So apparently Hulk doesn't watch promos and television. He reads the transcripts of them. Somebody's been somebody's been taken a lot of depositions lately. Yeah, what does he think he is, the lapsed fan reading transcripts. This is out of control, he says. And I'm here to fix all this crap with a role a piece of paper in his hand. I know what that means. He's not gonna be around to fix this crap. Bad's right. Hope comes out and says the following. Here we go, We're back on you wrestling, and here's hold on to take care of business. TNA Styles. You know something, There's been a lot of bad blood between J and Dixie, but right now I want to get down to business, and I want to bring out the man that won the Bound for Glory series and the man that's gonna go against Boira at the t for tena AJ Styles, Bound for Glory here you come, brother, and is a foming at the clocks one ten posting all he wants to fix this situation once and for all, calling h EJ. Styles a man whose focus is certainly divided down for Glory series winner in line for a shot at the World heavyweight title in San Diego, yes against fully Ray. But then also this this very contro precial, very volable situation with TNA President Dixie Carter at the same time Osolulya. And then if we know that's what the Hulk is trying to school out, you got Hulk and heads. You know he wants a hand over a welcome contract here, but AJ does not even says I do not have a contract here. Let's see how this thing he turns out. AJ Styles, I was out here earlier, and I've been around the buck a few times with hul Comania, but this place was sol electric. I couldn't even spit it out how you won the Bound for Glory series and the fact that you're going after Bully Ray and you're gonna be our next TENA champion because I've got the contract right here for you to sign. I've already signed that, brother, and I cannot have a TENA champion that doesn't have a contract, brother, So here you go to give you your new contract. Right, Guys, They can't seem to get a champion with a contract, right brother. I know you're focused, man, and we're all betting on you to bring that belt home. Man. They love you, brother, We all love you. I'm yours. Boys, Boys, boys, Why just a second, boys, there's the center of controversy. TENNA President Dixie Cornerman interruption. Boys. I apologize, I apologize, Yeah, I don't mean to be rude here. I don't mean to be rude. I'm sure I've been very clear over the years about why I brought you into TNA. And you know what happens more to bring big opportunities to this andy, open doors for us. And guess what, You've done that for the company and for me, and I appreciate that, and you have taught me so much about this business, and I'm really sincerely grateful. But guess what you are just an employee. That's it. But we know, both of us. We know that you are capable of so much more than that. You're capable, and I am here to make you the best that you can be. But AJ, let me let me see if I can remember this one right. I won't make you get down on your knees and big life, darling, and your dreams maybe, but that's it. I mean your reality. Aj, it's staring you right in the face, he said, bound for glory? And why Hulk here? Hulk may see some value in this phenomenally marginal one. I, on the other hand, can I borrow this real quick? I do not whoa, whoa, there you go again after the biggest step of you be rude here, sweetheart, I don't mean to be rude. Get out of my ring, do you hear me? Get out of my ring? Get it out of my ring, Get out of my ring. Going she's so annoying, she's the worst. Go honey, Okay, go on, don't don't you out here, honey, I got this. Don't you here what's going on? I do? I get this. I get it. Okay, I know, I know you people. You're not happy with me, and you know what, you must not be either, but you just don't understand. And bless your hearts, how can you understand? How? Because of the people in this world, they've never had to live in my world ever, they don't know what it's like, all the decisions and all the obstacles and the heart wrenching decisions that I have to be. And you know what, all the ninety nine percent of you that have so graciously contacted me in the last four to five months, criticizing me, putting me down, well, guess what you need me? You people? You get me shut up. It's the one that it's the no, no, it is it's the one percent to create all of your worlds. It's the one percent that creates your world that you get to live in. Why I, on the other hand, I have to suffer the burden. And obviously this is not a popularity contest. I have gone down that road for leven years and look when it's gotten me. Tonight, High or yes, please please, this is business. This is business. Haulk listen up here. No, it's not this. I'm not gonna say what you did earlier in this ring was a mistake, but but I would really, I'm gonna say this is a mistake for you to run it by me first. Okay. But let's just I'll tell you what. Let's just call it this one time, a little lapse in your judgment, Okay, and we'll just chalk it up to a lock Listen because Paul no Holpe, you and I we know what it's gonna take to make this company go to another level. We know the hard decisions, the hard decisions that have to be made. And you know what, hope you have a decision to make. You have one. Are you gonna get in line and get on team Dixie? Are you gonna be like a j and watch from the sidelines. I don't want to hes to you. I'll tell you what. That sounds an ultimatum to me. Are you a week to think about it? Okay? Held in response to those I know, I know you're gonna make the right decision. Okay, that is one of the most annoying things. Tell me why, I mean First of all, she's not good, all right, She's not good. She never has been good, she never will be good, all right. Stop. And also she's talking to myself nobody cares about. Just let the fucking guys wrestle. Can't do it? Not interesting enough, Ah, Just let Aj do his shit out boring? And what did bishops say a hundred times? They let Aj do his shit. They let him be the homegrown workhorse, and they couldn't grow anymore from there. They grew as much as they could from there. And now it's time to graduate to another level and give him some personality. They grew, Dick, they didn't grow at all. They're exactly where they were when they came in on a white horse to fucking springboard. People passed Indi Jabroni level. All that means as Bishof was so disconnected from the business when he wasn't working in it, and so desperate to disassociate himself from it, that he had no idea who Aj styles was. He had no idea what TNA really even was, and he certainly had no idea why anybody cared about TNA, such that it had been around for eleven years or however long it had been around before they took over ten years. And that's not that's not an insight. That's not like him being a you know, a revolutionary. That's him just not doing any paying any attention to the business. That suddenly he's making a half million dollars a year to produce the number two TV show in the business. And Hulk knows even less about these guys. So you'd come in and start putting new coats of paint on it and everybody because what you were doing it could only get you so far. Brother. That's all well and good, But if you didn't know what they were doing before, you don't get to say that. You don't get to make that judgment because you know fucking idea. The degree to which they did or didn't connect, and I'm here to tell you was someone that watched just about every week that he connected thirty times more before Hogan and Bishov came in than he ever did once they got his hands on him. That is irrefutable. And he knew that all along, and that's why he was cantankerous. That's why he was a stick in them up about things sometimes, and that's why he meant nothing. By the time the Hogan and Bishop resum was over with until they, you know, do this whole reinvigoration thing. And that's what's so profound and poetic about this to me, is they ended up exactly where they were when Hogan and Bishov came in. AJ styles is the world champion. I mean, yeah, I mean but in a weird way, they ended up worse a very profound way. In a very profound way, they ended up worse, especially if you had just expectations to where they really should have been, considering the investment in Hogan and Bishop and the hype surrounding their arrival. And it's not just enough to say, well, maybe they're like, you know, half of maybe point two ratings point higher than they were on No, let's look, they stopped doing pay per views for God's sixty. There's no money being made here. And that's precisely while they were brought in talking you point fingers and anybody else besides yourself, when you come in to make a difference and you don't, you know, And that's that's the final time that Hulk could do this and wrestling command like a big, long, strung out payday that Bishoff as his Lieutenant Eric's in the middle, just like he said back when he were recruiting RVD in that radio show twenty ten, gigs up and gigs up for Eric Bischoff as in October, even though he was pretty much sidelined for several weeks. I mean really, since John Kabarak's arrival. As we heard him saying sound from his podcast, it was pretty much Splitsville for Eric Bischoff and Tienna. He's looking for the exit. But much like Hulk Hogan in October, this is, of course no coincidence. It's over for Eric Bischoff as well. No, it's so. Here's what happened. I got a phone call one day. I don't remember who called me, said Eric, you know Dixie. I think it was John Garberk. I don't know whoever it was, said, hey, Eric, we've decided they didn't put it on Dix's like, we've decided that going forward, Dixie would like you to watch the show live, make your notes, and send them to her the next morning. Now I don't mind that, because that can be really, really constructive if you're actually going to read the notes. But that's not what that was, and I knew it. It was busy work. It was let's because we're he's they're paying me, right, yeah, and quite a bit. And actually it was Spike TV that was paying me, and he's such a fucking a. That's what they want me to do, I'll do it. And I did that for about I'm guessing three months. Garrett's still working here. He's still on a roster. He wasn't on they didn't book him on TV, but he was still getting paid. I'm still getting paid. I'm sending my notes in every week for I think about three months. Everything's running just fine, and I don't know how much time I had left on my contract. Wasn't that bigger deal, you know it was. It was one hundred grands worth whatever. And after about that three month period whatever, it was all of a sudden, I'm not getting a check now. I had always gotten paid on time. A lot of other people, you know, had issues talent. I never did. So I noticed it immediately. It was unusual, and I think that was at about the three month mark. And I let it slide for a week or two, and then I figured it out pretty quick when nobody would take my phone call. Is he sad about how it's all ending up us, is he No, it doesn't give a shit. He's such a fucking asshole. Wow, what did he say there that triggered you? I mean, you know, I don't remember who called me? What's that about? What does it matter? Sounds to me like he knows who called him, and he considers that a little shot to act like he doesn't remember, right, right, or it's somebody that he doesn't like to think that he had to take their call, that he was above taking their call, so he wants to like brush past that. Yeah, there's no reason he's he's full of those little things that he's such a he's such a and not only that, not only is he like being a pro wrestler, he's just being he's being such a bitch. That's really what it is. He's such a fucking bitch. In a way, I was very relieved because I knew I couldn't accomplish anything. You know, I show the same issues over and over again. It'd be the same. He just couldn't make any progress, and you couldn't get people. I couldn't get people, the right people to listen to the things that needed to be on and commit to them. In order to change the direction of the company. And when you show up to work and you're passionate as I am, even when I don't want to be, you show up, you want to accomplish, you engage, and then just you can't get anywhere, you can't get out of the bud. That's very frustrating. So when they said, hey, stay home and mcnowns, it's like, cool, I got a beautiful home in Scottsdale, Arizona. You know out here. Listen to the quails cry. So that's part quails cry. What a fucking moron. He's such an fucking douchebag. What do you ever do to you? I love to know. What's one thing is you thought they should do that they didn't do Eric, honestly, besides sell right, just not spend until what? Just don't just spend and spend and spend and spend and spend until what. Go on the road. Done, tried, walked back, did it again full time. Abandoned your hated impact zone. You're gone in eight months. Change the booker, you get rid of Russo done. Go live on Monday nights done, change the time slot on Thursday night. Done. Reduce the amount of pay per views and every year done, they'd not a fucking bit of difference. Any other ideas you had, dumb fuck? Did you do it again? Eric? It's like saying, I know, I know you were crossing the street, you're looking right, you forgot to look laughter, you got hit by that bus. But if you had to do that all over again, would you do No? Hell no, And you're the first time I got I'm still getting blamed because that company apart, I didn't have the authority to make a decision whether I could order Chinese or not. Be kidding me, No, wonder that's why I biss didn't like it? Then then then what were you in charge of exactly? If it sounded to me like he could decide whether it ordered Chinese or not. Yeah, yeah, he read his contract. What he what he does is in there. It's very clear. No, he didn't have higher and fire ability. But even if he did what, I didn't want it exactly, all these things that right that he couldn't do, he didn't want at the same time didn't want to be able to do. It's just it's all. It's all the kind of things people tell themselves when they presided over a failure, you know, and they can't they diagnose it as such. Oh he he is. I'll tell you that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know you know why because because fucked up. Pal have the goods in the first place right there. It wasn't like there was an opportunity you fumbled. You just you created out of thin air this thing that got Hogan paid, and you paid for three more years. And like I say, you never tried, but I didn't have the goods and you were exposed. It's exactly like when Vince Russa went to WCW Impact October three. Here we go. Jay Styles comes out says, I appreciate Hogan, You're trying to smooth things over. Dixie Carter's showing her true colors. I'm not out here to talk about her. Let me be the first one to say, I know you are a bully. You are a man. I'm gonna beat to be the next world champion Pound for glory. Put up her, shut up, time for a j I currently don't have a contract to TNA, so I'm all in. My life's on the line. I'm all in. I haven't seen the world title in over a year. I haven't been able to look at it. I'm hungry to get what I want. I'm sure you're hungry. Has something in common with Bully Ray then, after all, and that's why that's why Abyss hated Eric Bischof's guts is because he didn't have authority to buy Chinese. I have your authority, kabab the spare ribs as it were. It's right. And then they say Bully is the most dangerous guy in the building. I beg to differ. Bully comes outs as that lady is really in your head. You just said you hope to win the title. Ladies, I couldn't say hope, but if you were a two champion would know that you're going to win the title. Oh god, Oh, Dixie Carter's in your head. You even doubt yourself. Dixie Carter comes out a j darling. Let me remind you you were no longer under contract and you have one final obligation to this company nownd for glory. One more thing, one more sting, one more stinghole Cogan, heart to heart, Oh, here we go, here we go. So the last time you and I were in a situation like this was when Bishoff went whacko. He was on his power trip. He turned into an idiot. Now, Dixie, what's it going on? I want to get drunk with power. It just doesn't end well. You know, I thought i'd seen it all, you know, after thirty five years. I didn't think anybody could be worse than Bishoff. But you know what she is, and I gotta make a decision. It's it's gonna be a tough one here. I love being here, But my god, she really said, get on my ride or take a ride? You know what? No matter what, just know this, I got you back. Thank you. I have a gift from Miss Carter. Oh, Paul, she just really wants you to have it. We'll tell Miss Carter, I said, thank you very much. It should be interesting. Why complicity? A coffin? What is it? Okay? Hold on here, it's on a coffin? Is that the same watch she gave you last year? Looks like the same watch? What does that mean? I watch for what it means? Let the games begin? That's what that means. That means she is worse than Bishoff. He never gave me anything such a How could I try to to code what he meant by that? But I will Miss Hogan and staying backstage in the office. I will miss the crow on the desk. I will miss they'll look on Hogan's face when he first came up with the red paint in the bandanna floating above his head through the office blinds. I will miss the emergence of Joker staying. I will miss them talking about kafab the ribs and Chris Parks or Joseph Parks learning Carney terms. Steve Borden and Terry BALLEA boss who would have I know, right, these these two fucking chums today says you think that watches a retirement gift? Has says looks like a bribe to me. Austin Arius comes into the office later, sits on the couch and he's got a present too. When he puts a bottle on the top of some vitamins. Here we go, Hey man, what's going on that watched? Missus Carter sent my way? Oh presents? Huh? Well, you know what I got present for you too? Some vegan vitamins. Again. I figured you got a big decision at night, A couple of extra vitamins, maybe an extra prayer to help you come with the right conclusion. What are you getting now, well, I mean, listen, what are you doing here. I know we've always seen I I we've kind of had a love hate relationship, but you know there was a point where you saw something in me. He gave me an opportunity, option see, to come to the world headweight champion. I know you always don't what's right for business, usually your business, but I appreciate the opportunity you gave me that night, and I'm always grateful for that. I guess I want to come in here and talk to you because You've got a huge decision in front of you. And I've always known two hule Cogan's. There was red and yellow all American Hulk Hogan, and there was black and white Hollywood made. When I look at your decision and night Hulk, it's kind of black and white. Not a whole lot of gray area there. I get it. Yeah, I get it. That's really all I want to say. I mean, I don't want to take up more of your time. It's a nice watch. Enjoy the vitamins and we'll see you later. Rank. You get it, and keep telling yourself that bell they do a history of hulking TNA package. Here's that one too. I got it all for you. This is this is all Hogan all the time. Here we wrap this shit up. The one the only I can't hear you to my new business partner, Dixie Carter, thank you guys so much. You know there is no single name that defines an industry more than whole hocan. This is the anticipated an important individual, of a leader, of someone that millions of people falling about it out to. You have to calculate every move, Dixie Carter, Send a bunch of fan and I'll get her to sign her autograph. No prayer, police, Yes, I screwed you out of your company? Is this the legacy that you want to leave? Just sit right here, fight you. I'll get the company come back to you. A Dixie Carter attempted a scrimpion Hoka tempt out. He takes that ring control you're come to. Can't believe by the eyes horrs the real hold Hog and his car? Are you hold hooging gonna run this company and be the general manager and take the keys in his car? I'm wrestling as a brand new general manager. What you're gonna do when the brand new general manager rings wild? Why are these guys look every damn entrance around this girl and Huck. They tried to make a fool out of me, but in turn he made a fool out of yourself. No daddy wants his little girl to be with a guy like me. We just see Michael for nine looks you won't get swindled Aja style sture going after Bully Ray and you're gonna be our next the TENA champion And I cannot have a TEENA champion that doesn't have a contract. Brother, are you gonna get in line and get on Team Dixie? Are you gonna be like kJ and watch from the sideline? Still to come? It's whole Hogan's a huge decision. Will he joined Team Dixie? Will he be aligned with the TENA president? When he comes face to face with TNA President Dixie Carter say, oh, well, hook stairs at the watch and does the rich from the holds bar? I know exactly joking in the locker room. What will this decision be? We're back from breaking it's Dixie's music. I should you know here. I think I'm gott to cut it out, but I should play it anyway. Tenais Quite honestly, we are on the birch one of the most important decisions ever in the eleventh plus your history of this TNA organization. Sometimes are not happy with some of the decisions I've made lately, you know, and I have heard it for months now, But I tell you what, it's people like me that understand why people like you simply have no concept whatsoever a business and the complexities of it. I mean, really, I can't be upset at you guys for that. I mean, bless your hearts. You simply don't know any different. You're just reacting real Dixie, forget that. But you know us someone who does know a little something about business, Paul Cogan. We have some business in the ring now, and if you'd come out here and join me and our ring, let's take care of this. Please one I got time, so the bell off she hit at present ticks to Carter I Dix. He's got home. That sold him broke. I'm telling you, well, when it comes to the decision of this man general Manager, Hulk Hog, everyone including my broadcast partner, Task, has their opinions about what Hulk is gonna do the task. Only one opinion really counts, Only one opinion really matters, and that's all hope. I know that soul foss the world of a term that's realized something to him like today, what other optionist whole tippen Dixie's the boss, what's the general manager? He's got a fool in line. It's great to be part of ping Dixie. He's got to do what I'm telling you. How thank you so much. I know what an amazing career that you've had. I really do, But like I said last week, I want to know are you ready to take your career to another level? Because if you are, then I'm the one to do it for you. Okay, And that watch you're wearing, which I am tickled to death to see that you have on. Thank you? It is something I picked you up at Tiffany's. Well, you know what, It's just, it's just a gesture. It's a token of all that could happen between us. But you I gotta know, are you ready to take a ride on the Dixie train. I don't want to know what that is or are you gonna force me to make a decision, but I know I know you're gonna regrets it. Well, Dixie, if you put hilarious, Well, first off, thank you for the watch. I really appreciate the watch. I've never had anything quite like this before. Um, your offer. Wow. You know I've thought about everything I've done in my career put in I mean, I've always dreamed about being a power couple in this business, having a beautiful woman like you that has more power than anybody in this business at the end of the day, with an offer like that, Dixie Carter and Hull Cogan, Yeah, it's amazingly how high we could give like that. But at the end of the day, it's an amazing offer for somebody else, not me because I quit. Huh up, the rampy goes. Dixie clops up after him, face on his It's so pathetic. Please no, she's telling him, grabbing his hands, Dixie. Dixie Carter is on her knees. Carver Hope Hoping's life. Ah, like a child whose mother is about to leave Dixie sucks. What did she know that he was going to quit? Oh? Yeah, I mean, okay, that was all planned out. Okay, Now, whether they thought it was open ended and one day he might come back, perhaps, yeah, but nobody watching impact I don't think thought that was it that they would do an angle for his disappearance like that where he quit, and only did he quit, he left the lasting image and how poetic it is. Oh, I know of one Dixie Carter, proud woman, trying to make me a way in the wrestling business, trying to prove to Daddy, to Mommy, into the world that she's capable of riding this ship and taking it to new heights. On the back of that whole Cogan jet fuel is hugging his jeans and fucking dreaming dragged being ragged up the fucking ramp. That was my idea, of course it was That was all me. That wasn't all that. I'm telling you the truth. That was my idea. I wanted to put heat on Dixie. I wanted her to have heat. I wanted it to create a story, and I wanted I wanted Hulk to leave as strong as he could. Hate the idea. I may hate the idea right now, to be honest with you, but at the time Hulk was going, I didn't want any of the stink of TNA because he didn't deserve it. I didn't want it on stink to be where the stink needed to be and deserved to be, and it was not on Hulk. So I was willing to take the risk to put the heat on Dixie and make her look like an insane character who was hanging onto something she couldn't control. Because it was talk about Hull coming back as well. Hulk was hurting. He was. That had a lot more to do with it than Hulk liked Dixie a lot. Hulk and Dixie were close, there was no animosity there whatsoever. I think Hulk had a lot of empathy for Dixie, really did. But I wanted to make it clear that Hulk was leaving as strong as he came in, as best I could, and I wanted heat on Dixie. And that was the idea that came up with. Had nothing to do with Hulk. So you fuck the company to protect your friend who's leaving. I didn't look at it as screwing the company. I looked at it as putting heat on Dixie. That's why I wanted to blow AJ off. I want Dixie wanted to be on Cameron. Dixie wanted to be the female Vince McMahon. She needed heat to do that. She wasn't a baby face. She needed heat to do that. And I wanted to try to make her heal, Well, hang on now, Vince McMahon's character. Mister McMahon never grabbed someone's ankle and begged him to say he'd get in their face, all right, Yeah they were fired and make him kiss his ass. And yeah, Jesse couldn't pull that off because you know as well as Vince McMahon, that would have been a little hard to believe. But Dixie being a suck up. A character of Dixie Carter being a suck up in a manipulator, that's easy to be character. Yeah, wow, she started, keep telling yourself that, pal and oh nine. She calls the troops together, doesn't she, And she tells them that you got to get in line. When you criticize this company in my decisions, you're putting me in a position where I can't have that. It's not allowed this. Of course, the rumblings in the Tena locker room that the whole cogeneric bishop regime that was about to sweep through would not be good for everybody that had worked to earn a spot in the Tena roster and before the people, and by the end of it, Dixie's not just the heel in the back. She's the heel on television. Yeah, and she's a fucking clown. She's a fucking clown. Yeah. They get along. They get along, all right, Eric, Yeah right, they love each other. And why does Kurt Angele remember it this way? He didn't leave t NA. You know what. I was there today he was fired, and I didn't see the firing of him. But he walked into my locker room. It was actually an office. We were at the Universal Studio. Okay, we were in locker rooms here, but he walked my office and he goes, I can't believe it. I just got fired. That's what he said to me in that tone of voice. And I was like, holy shit, Haul Cogan gets fired. I never heard that one before. Yeah, really, so, I guess I had to be money issues. I was gonna say that Paul Cogan at all costs, but if you can't afford him, then you got to get rid of them. Did he end up saying any follow up when he said I just got fired? With like, man, this is what happened? Or do you remember any of that? No? No, he didn't. He walked in. He told me that he wanted to make sure I heard that, and then he walked out. It was like, holy crap, how does whole Cogan get fired? And then doesn't make any sense? Wow? Any any truth to that? I'm just submitting it to the record. We'll see. I mean, Kurt wasn't in the best ship frame of mind back then. I don't even know if he's back from where you have, but I think we've got a little bit more to present in terms of what, let's say under oath. Hulk said about how it all ended up. Impact was in Tulsa, Oklahoma the next week, poetically ten ten Dixie music. She's out all smiles, Oh yeah, Tonay said, last week Tenae was turned completely upside down. Our general manager is gone. He doesn't say whole Cogan. He just says our general manager is gone, and he asks what's going to happen to this company without a GM? Yeah, Dixie Carter, here we go one last time. You know, last week, last week we all saw what a self absorb, egotistical French player who believed in his own high. You see, that's the problem, and that's why he is not here anymore. She's done. Why he You'll never be called by his name in my company ever, ever, ever again, not by anybody or under any I mean, she's something at lunatic. But I'll tell you one thing. You know what, I'm the one. I'm the one that provided the opportunity, the opportunity for this certain nameless person to come into my company. Under the goodness of my heart, I did not meet him. I didn't him. That's true. Eating anybody to come in here and tell me how to run my own wrestling company. I mean, good lord, I mean I don't need any bits. I don't need any has been Eric Mischel, I don't need any mister Stephanie Lovett, and I don't need those good old boy Jaris. How can they tell me to do anything better when I am that that's the industry's ever seen open chants. It just tells me. Sometimes voice is step beside me screaming, I don't so loud over the sign of a stamping Jamie, to do girl? You module on the don that was bud do you is a I hear it? J Styles would go on to Pinball. Ray had bound for Glory twenty thirteen to become World Heavyweight Champion once again, and with that we end up exactly where we started before. Whole cog in anark bishop ever arrived in TNA. AJ Styles is the champion, celebrating with a horde of fans who care enough about TNA to show up, completely irrespective of whether or not Whole Coogan was there. AJ would go on to do a short lived copy of the CM punk angle where he's the champion who leaves the company with the belt, defending it around the real countries like Mexico. Yeah, no, shit, I didn't know that went home with his title. Wow, And it's time to negotiate, because that's when you start negotiations for real, is when the guy has the belt already. Yeah, when you give him the strap. Remember how that went out? How that worked for Verne Gagney with Jerry Lawler too, by the way, fucking nailed it. Given some other fucking clown with a buck your fucking belt, and what happens to AJ Style tells the whole story round this point in time. Is it true that Tena pretty much ignored negotiating you to deal with you until the story broke that your duel was coming up on the internet. Absolutely, As someone who'd been with a company from day one, how did that make you feel like I wasn't important. I mean, it really did, like, wait, we've had all this time to negotiate this contract and you haven't said anything. You don't want to negotiate. I don't know what's going on. Definitely, it was like one of those things where I would listen, don't even say anything. Let's just not even you know, let anybody know. Let's just let it run out and see what happens. You know, if that's if it's not important to them, it shouldn't be important to me. Do you think it was the company being disorganized or do you think they were purposely being disrespectful to you? Well, I don't know that they were purposely being disrespectful for me. But as I think back, I wasn't on TV outside come back, win the world title. Okay, maybe if we know it's one of the things will if we give him the world title, maybe he'll stick around. You know. It was kind of like teasing me with something because they knew, because I feel the one of what title was gone again outside out of mind wasn't because they knew that the contract that they were offering was that bad that out of side, out of mind, you know, no big deal. They won't care people the fans won't care. Actually kind of smarter them, you know. But that just goes to prove what I'm saying, that that contract was that bad that even they thought I wouldn't take it. Ris Pritchard would say his podcast that about a year in advance of AJ's Styles contract expiring with a rollover date coming up, t NA, under his head of Talent Relations Regime, went to AJ's agent, and AJ and his agent balked at the initial offer, but they eventually agreed on a downside guarantee that he could live with, and they took the deal back to Dixie, and according to Bruce Pritchard, Dixie's reaction was, why are we doing this now? If we wait closer to the time of AJ's contract expiring, we can get him for less. Can't commit that much. He's not going to stay for less, is what Bruce told her. According to him, this is a good deal for the company, and Aj is what he's what he pitched, but he had to pull the offer back. Funny things happen when you pretend you're not broke. Dixie on Steve Austin's podcast the year after the time period we're talking about, you can only pay as much as you're bringing in period period exclamation point. And if you don't have outside funding and you're you know, you're you're investing your own dollars back in. It's a really simple basic business formula. And to be honest with you, I think all my guys are worth more than I pay all of them. I wish I paid everybody more, you know, I wish that, you know, I have a dream that I would love there to be some real, true incentive as as we grow. And that's what I want to move towards. As we grow, you know, everybody participates and on a level that's not been done before in wrestling, you know, to stay in business and to you know, have the dollars that it takes to invest back in it and to be in business twelve years later after you've read your you know, heard your eulogy, you know, hundreds of times, keep bringing this up. You have a chip on your shoulder about I think I'm Proud's proud, keep bringing this sit up. You got a damn fucking chip on your shoulder. The fuck's going on, dick, she Carter, That is the question. What so what do you think? Aj you were the guy that was there the longest. You were the guy that was the fabric of TNA before Hogan and Bischoff's arrival. You've heard all the rigamarole about how Spike actually paid for Holgan Eric and not TNA, So I guess that matters. What do you think? Do you think Hogan and Bischoff and TNH ended up trickling down to a lack of respect for the only guys that actually mattered in the company. He was forcing you and others such of those who were released to suffer financially because they're big money to deal with who get failed? And is that fair to the talents? Not fair to the talents They somewhere they've wasted a lot of money, a lot and and the guys under contract, the guys who've busted the bud are the ones that have to paid the price, and that doesn't make sense. That's not fair to them. They're the ones that put their bodies on the line there for TNA and take and took up for TNA on a regular basis. And to punish them because of your mistakes, this terrible thing. I am mature enough in my career and who I am to not be pushed around. Not be bullied and take a un lesser pay because I've worked hard and because you've made a mistake, because TNA mismanaged their money and I have to pay the price. That's not how it worked. I will not take it back end and slap like that. I know who I am as a professional wrestler, and I am successful with what I've done, no matter what anybody else thinks. You know, being successful me is the fact that I got the opportunity to pay off my house. I think that's a pretty thing, a pretty big thing in my life because I didn't have what my parents. You know, my parents didn't have what I had. I've done something better than what or done, and that to me has been successful in Did you feel a responsibility to the other wrestlers who will soon be in a similar situation to you by not taking a lesser deal? You know, I hope that I'm opening a door that they will see that there there is hope for us on the independence. There is hope to go somewhere else. You are not bound by not you know, T and A or WW There we can go somewhere and we can make money. And that's not what it's all. That's not all about making money. It's about making a company. But if you could help make a company, if you can help do something special, that's what it's all about. Take pride in what I do. And there's a lot of other guys that do the same thing. And there's a lot of other companies that are going to get into benefit if TNAH has to screw them. And that's what happened. The Young Bucks, to Aj Styles, to Gallows, to Kazarian and Daniels, to even Sammy Zane who came through TNA for a one shot. No shit, I didn't know that. Wowzuchika Okada, greatest wrestlers of all time coming through TNA to come to New Japan, I don't know who that is, came through and they went out the other door and they went on to change the business. That interview with RF Video and Rob Feinstein, there were Aj Styles after, of course he left TNA. One point, Feinstein asks Aj Styles if the rumors were true that Tena's initial offer was a sixty six zero percent pay cut. AJ said, that's being generous. Oh. Jeff Jarrett also exiting TNA at the end of two thousand and thirteen, he had gone and tried to set up Indian operations and a promotion called Ringka King as we talked about, suddenly and abruptly disappeared from TNA television in and around feuding with the Kurt angeland Samoa Joe and doing that goofy SMMA gimmick he was doing, and he's gone. The founder AJ sang in that interview when he saw that Jeff Jarrett was leaving, that to him was the biggest red flag of all that there was something sort of fundamentally rotten with TNA. Jesus, they turned the calendar to two thousand and fourteen and AJ comes in just to do business to lose the World Championship to Magnus. TNA goes on for the rest of the year with Magnus's champion. On the January sixteen, twenty fourteen episode of Impact, Sting lost a match to the newcomer Ethan Carter the Third, a future TNA headliner promoted as Dixie Carter's nephew due to interference from Magnus, and then Stings subsequently challenge Magnus to a oversus career match. On the January twenty third episode of Impact Wrestling, and which Sting lost and left TNA forever. But for those people that filled the ring up when Aj won the belt No. Nine, that celebrated with him when he won the belt back, that bound for glory twenty thirteen. For those people like Brian Now we talked to so many weeks ago now on the TNH Journey, who went to the Impact Zone every single week. Oh god, yeah, yeah yeah, but couldn't find it in him to keep going once the Hogan era started, after it had taken hold more accurately, tena was enough, But for Hulkogan, tena never was enough. Never. TNA released a DVD of Hulk Coogan in his waning days. As we've talked about, we've referred to this DVD, and in another classic miracle of lap serendipity, you better believe we got our hands on it seriously, and wouldn't you know, it contains a never before released speech whole Cokean himself made to the assembled TNA troops. That's who was preparing to come in. But I was really excited to have the opportunity to come here. I know a lot of you guys, and a lot of you guys I'm dying to get to know. But no matter what anybody has said, or you know, no matter what anybody thinks, I come in peace and I really want to listen to everybody because there's not one person here that doesn't have something to offer. And all you guys know yourselves a lot better than anyone else. So knowing what I know about the business and want to help from all you guys here, I think we can really ramp this thing up. I was on the radio all morning for about four hours this morning to do it was a satellite tour and from Anchors, Alaska, all to New York and through New Mexico. Everywhere everybody I talked to that was on the radio, there was this crazy buzz already. Oh my gosh, the Monday Night Wars and you know, so many people said, we love TNA, you know, all the radio district because we watched TNA. There's so much talent there. And you know, I have to agree because watching both shows, you know, there's so much talent here. I think we just dial a few things in, you know, tweet a few things, and you guys really get involved in and we listen to each other. I think we've got one heck of a role here coming, and a lot of my friends know that. Up until a few months ago, you know, Vince and I were not Russo, but Vince McMahon and I were going back and forth about making me the Babe ruth or Wrestling, and they had a Monday Night raw at Madison Square Garden where they wanted me to host the show and then wanted me to come back and get heavily involved. I kind of got a pretty good idea of the storylines and what's going on there because I spent a lot of time up there, but having talked to you know, Vince and some creative people, you know, within the last few months, I got a good idea of what's going on. And knowing what you guys are doing and having the opportunity to actually make history here. That was exciting to me because I know the end of the story there, you know, I know how that goes, has been there, done that a couple of times. But this is exciting. You know, we get a chance to get this thing up and running quickly, and there's a lot of amazing things that happened in a very short amount of time and in the last couple of years, I've been to hell and back again with a lot of business and personal stuff. But you know, to have this opportunity to be involved with you guys and work together, I think we can really create something pretty crazy. So thank you guys for having me, you know, thanks for you know, giving me the opportunity to work with you. And I just want to thank Dixie and everybody else for giving me the chance and the opportunity. And I'm all ears, man, I need help. I want to listen to everybody, and you know, Eric's here. We're all working together in this thing. And I really don't want to compete, you know, against events, because I don't want to do what he's doing. I just think with a talent that's in this room, we can put out a much better product that anybody else out there. And it's definitely gonna happen. Twenty fourteen. Right at the time, TNA had its contract canceled by Spike TV as the network found that the rights were getting too expensive. Their ad sales department was unable to sell the program. The ratings weren't improving significantly, and the network itself, Spike itself was changing direction and was not so much placing such a heavy emphasis on the kinds of demos and characteristics that TNA could bring to the table. The contract wasn't renewed, and in that time period, just as the contract was being canceled, Hull Cogan was giving a deposition in his lawsuit against Laser Spine Institute. And in contrast to the piece of sound we just heard in those heavy days before he made his impact debut and sought to turn the nose up on this thing, brother, he said the following TENA is a very small company and the whole Cogan brand in name TNA would never be as big as the whole Cogan brand in name. So for them to land whole Cogan and spend one million or one point five million or one point two five million or whatever that number is, there is a huge upside for them if they knew the wrestling business and they handled me properly, such as the way Vince mcmah handles you. I mean, is there any reason you couldn't In the last few years since the Fusion, he's asked go back to TNA and be the main event, the main guy. Do everything that you did in that match with the Rock, except for doing a leg drop, and he answers, there's no reason other than there's no reason too. They wouldn't pay me any more for doing it. The reason you wrestle, Hulk said, should make more money, and they wouldn't pay me any more to wrestle. Lawyer says they just didn't have the financial and hulkses, no, they were just I think it was pretty much. I know what it was. It was a small independent wrestling company. Wasn't a large company like the WW or Ted Turnurse Company. Are there, Hulk, any other wrestling companies out there that you would consider, you know, second tier behind the WW right now or for the last couple of years, other than TNA. Hulks response, TNA is not a wrestling company if you're comparing the two. One is a multibillion dollars company and TNA can't afford to make payroll. Is that I mean? When you signed on with TNA, though, the lawyer says, you're excited about that possibility, weren't you? Hulk says, yes, I was excited about that the investors Dixie Carter's parents wanted to compete. I had no idea that it was just the opposite. We were under the assumption that Dixie's parents, who were very wealthy billionaires and owned an energy company, were in to compete, and they thought they made us think we had a budget when they decided to, you know, go on Monday nights, and it wasn't the case. They wouldn't spend the money to go on the road and do things correctly, just everything from the pie road to the presentation to they wouldn't spend any money in advertising, print advertising, or any type of social media stuff. There wasn't her presence. They made us think they were going to ramp up and be competitive. And they asked him, well, you know when you were TNA, You're on you know, Bubba the Love Sponge radio show all the time talking up TNA and how rich and exciting the opportunity. Is Hulk's response, I'll say anything to make TNA, Bubba or anybody look good that I'm working with on the show. It could have been the Louise Hayes Show, and I could have said she's the greatest radio commentator of all time and TNA is going to be bigger than WWE. So at the time I had to do what I had to do to entertain the situation. I was in, which was I was working at TNA. I'm not going to sit here. I'm going to sit there and say that the WW is so big and it's such a monster we could never overcome. So you just have to take it as just entertainment. It's not factual. Wow. Eric was asked if there's any regrets if he thinks Hogan regrets his running TNA, be imagine that's a that's a big fat And though I don't think he would look I don't think Hulk looks at anything as a regret. You know, I think he's Hulk has become very philosophical. I mean, I'm sure there's things that have happened in his life, like all of ours, that we wish we could do over or wouldn't have happened, But um no, I think look, Hulk loved it, probably still does. The wrestling business was his life for the majority of his adult life, and I think as challenging as it was for Hulk because of his physical situation, I think that was the only thing he regretted. Yeah, if I had to say what he had to imagine, what did Hulk Hogan regret about his time and TNA? It was probably because he wasn't physically able to do the things he wished he could do and contribute as much as he thought he could contribute. That would be a regret, But in terms of his time there now, Dixie and Hulk got along really well and he respected her. How about you, Eric, November fourth, twenty fourteen, Let her delivered to Tenna Entertainment LLC. Attention Miss Dixie Carter from the Office of Scott Hervey regarding unpaid and past due fees. Dear Miss Carter, as you know, this firm represents Bischoff her of the Entertainment Television Inc. Bh Reference is made to the above agreement between T and A and bh the terms of which are set forth in a written agreement with an effective date of February first, twenty eleven, as amended the agreement. Pursue into the terms of this agreement, BHG is to receive payments of its base pay and monthly installments. In the past, TENNA has issued payment to BHG on the first day of each month. BHG has not yet received its October twenty fourteen payment. While we assume that this is merely an oversight by your accounting department, please consider this formal notice of an event of default pursuant to Section fourteen point one of the agreement. Please remit payment to BH as soon as possible, but not later than twenty days from the date of this letter, in order to avoid being in breach of the agreement. All rights reserved, very truly, yours, Scott Hervey. Eric Bischoff had to sue TNA to get his minds un fucking believable. Jan twelve, fifteen to mister Guy Blake Esquire, Your guy, please be advised that I do not agree with your recent statement that TENA paid in full and BH still refused to appear as requested when the money was sent. You did not make it clear. Apparently they did send some money. You did not make it clear whether it was in connection with the settlement offer that was on the table or a reinstatement by TNA. We got the money, but we just didn't know what it was for. TENA did not make a request that BH performed services when the money was sent. I'm getting flashbacks Bashed at the Beach two thousand. In the aftermath, I cashed the check, brother brother, but it wasn't because I was agreeing to perform the services that might represented at that point that the money's mine, dude, But there's so many other things you're not satisfying in my contract that call for me to perform in accordance with that payment. I'm not going to give it back, but I am saying the contract is invalid, even though the only reason I'm entitled to the money is because of that contract. It is incumbent on TNA to be clear whether the money is being sent to pursue it to the settlement offer or to reinstate the agreement. If you're claiming TENA reinstated the agreement in BH refused to perform, there would be a few problems with this position. First, BHD was not scheduled to appear per section fourteen point one. This is exactly the back and forth with Brad Siegel and Dianemiers over like the Greed Show. Yeah right. Second, an order for TENA to terminate the agreement due to bh's breach, TNA is still required to give BH thirty days written notice. In BH has the right to cure such default, so TENA can play the game too. And they said, you know you're required to appear per the agreement and you did not. We sent you the money in accordance with that appearance. You didn't appear. Oh well, we didn't know that that's of that money was foreign. You didn't make that clear. That's how it ends between Eric Bischoff and TNA. Please be advised that bh stands ready, willing and able to perform under the agreement in the event t ANDA is reinstating the agreement. However, if the money was sent pursue into the settlement agreement, please advise immediately. Since siderly James Bryan Lewis it Profers twenty fifteen addressed to TENA Entertainment from the office of Scott Hervey, Dear Miss Carter, as you know, this firm represents Bischoff Hervey Entertainment and Garrett Bischoff. Reference is made to the above agreement between t and A and BHI, the terms of which are set forth. Was was Garrett still an employee after his dad got cutter after Eric left. Yes, for a little while he was, but hardly ever pushed set in a written agreement with an EFFECTI date of every first twenty eleven has amended the agreement. In the agreement Garrett and TENNA the Garret Agreement. Pursued to the terms of the agreement, bh is to receive payments of its base pay and monthly installments. In the past, TNA has issued payment to BEG in the first day of each month. BHG has now yet received its payments for January, February and March twenty fifteen. Pursue into the terms of the Garrett Agreement, Garrett was to be paid four hundred dollars per week. Garrett has not received payments since October twenty fourteen. Please consider this formal breach notice pursuant to the agreement and the Garret Agreement. Please remit payment to BHG and Garrett as soon as possible, but not later than twenty days from the date of this letter, in order to avoid being in breach of the agreement. As you know, our client has engaged local Litigation Council. If we do not receive all past due amounts by the due date, our client will take all steps necessary to enforce its rights under the agreement and will not hesitate to take measures to recover all monetary damages incurred by our client, including the recovery of our clients attorney's fees and costs. This is how it ends when you do business. And just I can sense the the the anxiety whenever something would come across Dixie Carter's desk involving Oh yeah, you get that like rising ah, internal body temperature that yep, yep, hair stands up on your neck, yep. Yeah yeah, just get hot. As they say in the business blood the blood pressure is just through the roofs. Like Rick Flair said to mcfolio on one of those TENA episodes, you hot. They slaps the mic out of Flair's hand. You hot. And this is all from the desk of Scott Hervey. And to suggest it was all unicorns and rainbows between whole COVID and Eric Bischoff in the wake of this TNA debaccle, I don't think would be exactly accurate, because here's Eric Bischof still being represented by Scott Hervey. At least he's writing legal memos on behalf of Eric Bischof. Meanwhile, Hogan in twenty fourteen and a Laser Spine Institute deposition is asked about Scott Hervey and says, I talked my old attorney, Henry Holmes and a coming out of retirement because I was desperate. Scott Hervey was screwing so many different things up that I was desperate to get somebody that was consistent. At the end of twenty thirteen, Holk Cogan was back in Vince McMahon's arms, signing a three year Legends deal to make ten days a month of appearances for WWE at five hundred thousand dollars. For those ten days. He also received thirty five percent of licensed product net receipts in that deal, including responsibilities to promote the future WWE network, which was just in development. Contract also said he shall not be required to perform an actual wrestling match, but maybe directed to participate in in ring activities and in addition to the salary of five hundred thousand dollars, payball, i'd like you to bump or as ten days of service. Can you do it? I need you to do I need you to do something here? Would never do I need you to do a shooting star press. Ball says not a match, pal, but it's in a ring activity. This is it is? It's in ring activity. Would you not define the shooting star press to the floor through two tables and in ring activity? I mean there's no bell. That's going to be wrong. You know, there's no there's no referee. It's not a match, but it is in ring activity the peal. You went to TNA and you try to go head to head with me on Monday nights, and I fucking slaughtered you where you stood, and I ate you. I shot you, and I'll shoot you again. It's like Cody right across me. You try to run opposition. Listen back under the tent, under my terms. Listen, here's the thing. I am a very patient man. I have learned to control my patience on a level that is beyond anything remotely human. I get what I want. I win, you die. Addition to the salary payable to Balaya for those ten days of service, w W, according to the contracts, shall pay Bolea a non returnable annual guaranteed advance of five hundred thousand dollars extra against revenue from third party contracts entered into after execution of the twenty thirteen agreement. Because in this deal, Boleya grants w W an exclusive license to use and exploit all service marks, trademarks, and other distinctive and identifying indica used by and or owned by Balaya, and connection with the business of professional wrestling or entertainment, including but not limited to Hulkogan, Hulkster, Hollywood Hogan, and Hulkamania, and any derivatives of such marks. Thence bys Holkamania. After this turn and run Balaya's existing agreements with Visuals Sciences, Level One Entertainment and all films produced per this agreement in scripts for films Lone, mart Hostemania, Hostemania, Big Man Enterprises LLC, The Hogan Beach Cafe, Endemol Games Unlimited, hum I think that's the Bishop Gambling thing, and Memtex's LLC and Prince Marketing Group are carved out of Balleta's grant of exclusive rights to WWE, and that Balay's performance of those agreements shall not be deemed a breach of a grant of the exclusivity to WWE. So he's able to carve out all the many hustles that he was able to put together well ostensibly working for TNA. But he has also advised orally that he has three other deals in place that do not have written contracts at this time, specifically for a superhero graphic novel comic book, a deal with a Japanese company for a one point six scale doll and a deal with Twitter, and the event any other potential third party deals are brought to WW by Balaya after execution of the twenty thirteen agreement for WWW's consideration and approval, or if b B brings any third party deals to Balia for his consideration and approval after execution of the agreement, the party shall agree that Balleia shall receive sixty five percent of the compensation paid by the third party and w t B shall receive thirty five percent if WOW. If Balai is considered a featured performer, here's that word again, Oh my god, that in respect to the sale of the first one hundred and fifty thousand units of a DVD in our Home Video, which is made pursuant to this unlicensed product sale, then in addition to the compensation due to BALIAD shall pay ten percent of the net receipts that are paid to BWB with respect of the licensed product sale of the DVD in our Home Videos Bala is in. If Balay is the only featured performer, or if there are multiple featured performers, I'm starting to get costum collection vibes to Ballet and all of the feature performers and such DVD and our home video or on an equal provider basis, will be paid out if the aggregate DVD and home video sales succeed one hundred and fifty thousand units. W shall instead pay fifteen percent of WB's net receipts two that are paid to w B two Balia. If Balata is the only feature performer, you get the gist in the contract. Ballet is also entitled to first class travel, transportation and lodging. He shall also be entitled to have one person accompany him on all travel, and that agreement provided that person must be approved by w B and under contract A W to B the apart is agree that Jimmy Hart is approved to be such a travel companion. What's in the contract Bala shall act at all at times, it says, and this one will sting Oleah shall act at times with due regard to public morals conventions WOW. During the twenty thirteen agreement, if Balaya has committed or does commit, any act that involves more interpitudes under federal, state, or local law, or which brings Balia into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule, or which injures Ballet's reputation in WB's sole judgment, or which diminishes the value of Balata's services. Then at the time of any such act, or at any time after WWE of any such act, shall have the right to immediately suspend and or terminate the twenty thirteen agreement. I mean hold on. So by that that means that they But that doesn't say that if something comes up from the past, because it said, didn't this not happen while he was happened years before he came into TAP seven or six, I believe, right, So I mean and listen, I'm not saying they did anything wrong, but it doesn't list doesn't say that little kind of I'm surprised, I guess, is what I'm saying that it doesn't say in there. You know, even if you said something three hundred years ago in a different in a different body, you will be fucked. And that's the thing. Hulk thought it was all behind him, a neat, tidy bow, and that he could make these representations going forward without a threat of these clauses being exercised. But that's the thing about the Hulkster. We're not talking about his behavior in the Kfabe Carney world. We're talking about his behavior outside of it. Right in that arena. You're talking about folks not like Vince McMahon or Arch Bischoff or Dixie Carter. Talk about folks like Bubba the Love Sponge, Folks like the attorneys swirling around Tampa. Folks like the FBI and Spice Boy, people who really know how to get revenge. Yeah, Spike canceled TENNA again in July twenty fourteen. The story was broken by t m Z, the same outlet that whole Cogan was using as a sounding board to counteract all the scandal around the sex tape releases and other things. Spike ended up dropping TENA and TENA went to a network called Destination America and Dixie k fabe the shit out of how that was going to be a benefit. She's still on her bullshit even the wake of the departure of Hogan and Bishop. Let's hear her on Steve Boston's podcast about the Change of Scenery just a few short months after whole Cogan. Less than a year after whole Cogan leaves the company, Wheat Look, we had an amazing run with them. I can't even begin to say enough great things about Kevin Kay, who I love dearly, who runs that network, and Scott Fishman, our executive in charge in that whole group. But you know, it was a long run. We had a lot of success for them, and you know, I wanted even though I think we bought you know, we were the number one rated show for many, many, most of the years that we were there. You know, their whole their whole goal was how do we find another hit? How we find another hit? And you know I wanted, we need somebody to figure out how to make this hit bigger, you know, And they were one more scripted, which is exciting. You know, Kevin's got some incredible things going on. He's got a big hit on his hands right now with his um lip Sync show, which I love, and it has big I love. Real surprised. I don't really watch Stevie, but I saw some of the gimmicks. I saw the whatever. But it's hot. It so anyway, But I love that. But you know what, you know, I'm building a brand and I found that having the number one show on a major network is not Again, I always go back to the silver bullet. It's not the given thing. And so we've been the number one show, major network, and you know, it's just time for us to try something different and and and you know, Discovery has been a great partner in a very short period of time. You know, people look at our numbers and they're saying, oh, they're not doing anywhere close to Spike. Well, first of all, it was a conscious decision. I talked to the talent, you know, you know, they wanted to be someplace that, you know, where they felt like there was going to be more of an investment in our brand and growing us, etc. And we all agreed that taking sometimes a step back to take a step forward is important. Okay, Dixie, I'm sorry, I got I completely got lost in all the bullshit. Okay, Dixie games to say, complete disaster moving to this cable station that nobody watched. Yeah, well we'll put all kinds of marketing dollars behind you because there's nothing else on the station that's going to do any numbers. I mean, they went like to six hundred thousand viewers from routinely doing one, one, two on Spike, and to sell people on that being a positive, only a Dixie Carter could do that. And that's not going to work in the wrestling business. But then a year she's out as well, having sold to Billy Billy Corgan, I think in company. At that point they were on Pop TV, which is an even deeper kind of afterthought in the television landscape and never to be never to be heard from again. And as she puts it, um, you know, Spike just was looking for the next hit. So her thought was they were definitely moving on from Impact being part of what could take the network to where they wanted it to go. The time the next hit, the next hit, the next na ever a hit, well was the top rated show in their network, So it's hard to say it wasn't if you're going to call something else a hit, But you know, it's television, yeah, and it's not about whether it was a hit. It's about whether the correct people can take credit for the hit. And when it comes to Impact Wrestling, sure, we've talked about how sort of hands off Spike was. Altogether, like always in wrestling, it's just there to deliver an audience that they consider hard to reach that they can amalgamate into a weekly average that kind of masks the fact that it's basically wrestling that's supporting how they rank in the weekly cable numbers and therefore command advertiser's attention. They're not out there touting that we have impact wrestling. They're just touting the way it brings up their average and touting original series like Bar Rescue and The Tattoo Show and the Lip Sync Show, because those are things they actually tried to make happen on their own and just throw a million dollars at an organization that already runs itself to do a quick ad campaign. They actually worked with a third party production company to create it out of nowhere. It wasn't a pre existing property. Plus they doubled down on Bellator. I mean, much more advertiser traction for MMA television advertising than a pro wrestling A lot more folks interested in spending advertising dollars to reach an MMA viewer than a pro wrestling viewer. Another, they own Bellatour. It's time to give that the best shot. But I've found fascinating. On the Two Man Power Trip podcast, an interviewed that Angelina Love did about Dixie Carter is, if you notice when Dixie really consolidates here and acually, this whole era of Hogan TNA, Angelina Love kind of exit stage left, sure, and a different crop of knockouts going to come to the four And as Dixie's telling the story about how Spike, you know, basically was such a great partner and it was amicable to the end, and Spike would say the same thing frankly, but Angelina has a different understanding of one ended up happening to bring an end to the relationship between Dixie and Spike, and how it might not have been also strategic to leave the network on Dixie's behalf. And she was really sweet at first, but then it was like once other people came in and once she started for some reason thinking who the fuck she was and she needed to be all over the show. And she at first when we first got there, we loved the environment and working for her because it was like she was always like, how's your family? She was always asking how people's boyfriends were and how stuff was at home, and always asking the guys how they how are your kids and stuff like that. Like at first it seemed like, oh wow, like she really cares like about not business stuff too, like that home family stuff like that's really nice to want to know and we're not like just employees. But then it was like, oh my god. Then she had to be on every segment. Then we were getting kicked out of the makeup chair because it oh Dixie had to get her makeup done, you know, eight hundred times. But it's like, we have matches and we have backstage segments, and we really need to be done too, and we start doing it ourselves because it was like, oh Dixie is and she was just like such bad bit drunk backstage like a pay per views, and it was just like we just really quickly realized that it was like mommy and Daddy just wanted to give their daughter something to do and some money to go do it with. And then she she really would just thought the show was based around her, and she had a lot of people whispering bad decisions in her ear, and then all of a sudden, it was just she started treating everybody like shit, like we were just like her pibions, you know what I mean, We were just like so beneath her and below her, and it was just like she wanted her own reality show and like all this kind of stuff. It just became way too much. She and she screwed up our Spike TV deal too. Spike TV was going to resign TNA to like another couple of year contract, and she asked for absurd money and they were just like, no, here's your offer, take it or leave it. And she was like, oh, oh my god. Oh and then just kind of came back and they were like, no, take it or leave it. And then she was like oh and she just oh, it was just it was a fucking disaster. And then Spike TV was like, fuck it, We're not never mind. And then she was like, oh no, no, no, no, wait, oh no, wait no, that's totally five. And then they were like nope, over you. And then it was and then we were and then when we all found out that we were not going to be on Spike TV anymore, oh, like the whole roster, we were just like, oh, are we all gonna get fired? Are we done? Oh my god? How am I gonna? How are you gonna feature? Oh? It was like we went from like the ultimate high to the ultimate low. And as all because of Dixie, you know, hul Cogan and Eric Bischoff didn't change TNA appreciably. They didn't change TNA's prospects, but they did change Dixie Carter and on March third, twenty fourteen, Bubba walks into a deposition at a law office in Tampa says the following, Bubba Love Sponge. He's asked, Okay, how would you describe Hulk Hogan? Now, I'm assuming he hasn't varied from what I knew him. He's just, you know, probably a little bit more cautious. If I was him, I would feel very double crossed. I'd be very cautious. I would very broader. I'd probably be very much closed because you know, his best friend did him, did him wrong. And I would say that he has a ton amount a ton of trust issues right now. I don't blame him. Do you think he cares about other people? Yes? To it to a detriment. I think that Terry. Terry's caringness has caused him a lot of pain. I think that he gives way too much and people have taken advantage of him a lot. Again, I've testified that I was in complete cover my ass lie at all expenses Bury. People on the air turned us around. Transfer the heat, sworn deposition, transfer the heart, whatever you whatever you want to say wrong with him was wrong with him. I complete mindset to try and save face on what I had done to this guy. O. Cogn sent Bubba the love sponge of text shortly after it became clear that Bubba had made the remark on film that you know, we can never use this for retirement if we ever need it, texted something on the lines of that is how somebody treats their best friend. Thanks for never being my friend and destroying my life. Wow. Bubba also testified in the deposition, I don't know the time code of those texts. I don't know when Terry finally figured out I was full of shit and I was lying to him nobody. I think we've learned. Boss though transfers the heat on Hulk Cogan and as we know, that retirement comment that Bubba made on the sex tape, I wasn't. I wasn't about the sex that he had on film. No, I wasn't about extorting the fact that Hulk with a tan line on his asses absolutely waylaying his wife with a thermis shaped dick. It was the racism, So the racist comments contained on the tape that he was talking about. In July twenty fifteen, National Inquirer and Rater Online publicized a rant made by Hogan leak sex tape, and as we've discussed before, transcripts that purported to represent these remarks had been reported out in the past. It wasn't brand new in twenty fifteen when this came out. But what was new is that we had the audio because subsequent legal action taken by different parties made the actual audio recording collected by investigators discoverable in public record. So it's not the best quality. Let's listen closely. These Whole Coogan discusses with Heather Clem, his daughter Brooks bustling or we should say fledgling hip hop career and her entanglement with a black producer and the comments that put Whole Coogan in the box that he in many ways remains into this day because she jumps sides on him because out of shout out she's really post romiser and I'm the fund of Hammers and I've done everything fucking with Damn Day and I the radio jackass thesporder movie to make maybe work. He goes out and rush color Day and the sound he started in her. Guy, He's like basically did more for her a year than anybody's done. Okay, And he had one song a man in Camous. She would have ye a my b bost and movement out of But I try to beat the realest and this is your auction. You got a better action, he said, you can't find the fun. He's gonna find her. How you going right hand? There's not to ask. We're doing the bust of cannon. So there's a point where our book was fun in the black sun with I hang out, I got hold the hands, get around the word ever getting close to kind of the bar on you. Okay, I'm not a double standing who raised the point? People? I mean, can't similar relationship that anybody? Stuff? Stuff? Yeah, Jesus so all that, all those rich contract terms I read to you that he signed with the after ditching TNA that got yanked on him. Yeah, removed from the erase from the network. Remember that we had some fun with that. Yes, But but no matter what, when it comes to whole Cogan in the end, someone will pay, literally and it won't be Hull Hogan. He recently did interview with a Full Send podcast and he said, everybody says, oh, this business is a work, Okay, Well, If I'm making twice as much money as you, ah and you're wrestling me, is that a work? That's a fucking shoot, brother, And that's how I looked at it. This business was a shoot. It was the man that made the most money. And for me, if you're a good guy, usually until the n WA n w O came along back in the day, if you're a good guy, your merchandise sold two to one over the bad guy's stuff, that's not a work. To me. That's a shoot. Brother. If I'm making more money than you and I'm wrestling you, and my T shirts are selling twice as much as yours, maybe it's a work to you, but not to me if my checks double yours. So I always looked at it that way. Today, Holt, it's still hanging and banging boss on Clearwater Beach. I think you know that, Yes, indeed, brother, And very much back in the fold is his son Nick, who of course was released years ago from from prison due to the John Graziano crash. Hul Coogan having been involved in some lawsuits over his insurance company that was, according to his claim, supposed to back him more than they initially said they would for damages incurred in that accident, and by all accounts, all debts have been paid. And it's a new start for Hulk, who, after a career in the business, is putting a camera up in his in his gym every Monday to promote karaoke night at his beach club and putting his son in front of the camera. Sometimes I can't tell the difference in the voices. O Yo, maybe you don't do it on out here in the dungeon. We got that ooh suy punt from Monday and night karaoke going on. You know, we got some crazy stuff happening on clear Water Beach. I'm gonna let the big man tell you what's going on down there. I can't believe we're crushing the competition every Monday night. Look up and down Clearwater Beach. Look at the plaza, the places I caving, and we're so hot with Monday night karaoke. And you know, justin the scooner guy he got all upset, brother because Malahabit came in. Localish boy won the title, saying, sexy Fat bringing it back Jack, I'm so hungry, Yes, I'm so hungry, Sexy Fat. That's where it's at jack. And you know what, when he won the title, it got really really crazy because now all of our locals are hyped up. They're hyped up, and just in the scoony guy walk all the way from Clearwater Beach to some of five and a half hours to get his head cracked. And guess what he's walking back right now. The scooters to the side, the motorcyles are to the side. He's walking all the way back from Monday night. Carry ok. I gotta feeling it's gonna get really really intensive. Hogan's hangout, brother. I heard it's all on the line from Monday. We need new champions, we need more security, and more importantly, you got a question to ask him. You know, we need to know if the locals are gonna hold it downside. I'm betting on my family, the clear Water Beach family, and you know what, we're gonna take care of all the family business Tide. Then Hogan's hang out, apm Hogans hangout. I'm gonna give you an offer that you can't refuse from. So how did Huld Cogan get back to that position where all the cares in the world despite losing the WWE contract that came after the TNA run despite you know, while he made money in TNA, had a lot of debt and a lot of alimony and a lot of legal settlements to make up for as well. How did he get back on his feet to the point where he can so comfortably be Hull Coogan again, carefree pushing another gimmick and his basement with his boy. How did he get back after a multimillion dollars run at TNA that saw him stay paid while undergoing a litany of surgeries that he needed to get back on his feet at sixty and turn over every legal and endorsement rock that he could, all while he was supposedly evangelizing and boosting TNA and produced little other than a fresh rich glossary of new Carney terms for us M and saw his id thrust on the screen. All of it related to his new reality as a litigious legend, Hulk Cogan, who walked into Tena as close to financially destitute as he'd been suicidal, even divorce settlement, an aximent accident settlements cleaning him out, Hogan hasn't quite come out on top yet in our story. For all his bluster, for all his charisma for all his a time seeming naivete hulk must go over and now, after this runnin' TNA and all the appertun in lawsuits, He's hipped to a new way to get money, working not an opponent or a match or a promoter, but the legal system. There was one last cell job to come, one last payday, to grab one more promo, to cut, one more time, to don the black bandanna in a bid to restore his treasure such that Hulkogan could finally walk around like Hulkogan again. That promo was delivered on March seventh, twenty sixteen, before a jury of his peers at the Panellis County Courthouse in Saint Petersburg, Florida. In the legal arena as it's known, it's known as trial testimony in our arena, the ten arena. It's perhaps the biggest money promo Hulkogan has ever cut, one that would see a jury award him one hundred and forty million dollars in damages and a win of Rogawker Media, the biggest foe he came up against since slamming a giant. After the verdict was announced, you got a real sense of hul Cogan outside the courthouse X hailing in a way we never were accustomed to seeing this immortal superstar, this immortal godlike hero. Oh yeah, because it actually got real for once for him. But in the end, and he called upon the same Carney instincts that kept him paid in TNA to get back on track. Hogan telling us he was overcome with emotion when he realized they won. When I knew they checked, yes, I just did this crazy involuntary snort, like a you know, nine hundred pound pig. And as I tried to not snort again, just water just came pouring out of my eyes. I just started shaking. And so you were emotional because you felt that people finally believed you when the verdict came in and the people, the jury of my peers says, we believe you. It just it just you know, the world is round. I told you. It was just really great. Linda and the Hope splitted two thousand spoke to her at her beautiful home outside Los Angeles, which she bought after their divorce. Yes, Hogan telling us he was overcome with emotion when he realized they won. When I knew they checked, yes, I just did this crazy involuntary snort like a you know, nine pound pig, And as I tried to not snort again, just water just came pouring out of my eyes. Gawker says, it is confident it will win this case on appeal, pointing out that jurors were not allowed to know that other courts had sided with it before this trial even began, and also pointing out they didn't get to hear from a key witness that former friend Bubba Clem ever got to hear from Bubba clem M. They also didn't get to hear from Linda Hogan. There really fell off the radar here in TNH after our first episode chronicling their acrimonious divorce and all the things that tells us about Hulkogan. But as she sits in her now rather palatial Los Angeles home, fireplace, going living the life that according to Hulkogan She really always wanted to pull away from him and live back where she was from on the West Coast, you know, pursuing selfies and bikinis and things like that. Unda Hogan has to grapple with the fact that Hulk Hogan got that settlement because he was fucking around on her. Linda and the Hulk split in two thousand and seven. We spoke to her at her beautiful home outside Los Angeles, which she bought after their divorce. Hulk is getting money for tape he made while you were married to him. Do you feel like you're entitled to some of that money. I don't need that. I've I ended up with an okay settlement, and I'm fine and more right to have that kind of a windfall of cash for something that you did that was just so seedy. It's bothersome to me. I wouldn't want to share any of that. I don't know how he can sleep at night knowing that he's got the money for doing what he did to get that money. In a roundabout way, do you look at it as blood money? I do. It's like it's dirty money. My phone started blowing up and people were like Hulk one one hundred and fifteen million. I was like, what I thought, it's kind of representing saying to the public that he's being rewarded for bad behavior. Yep, Broiler and back to the beginning. Really, remember when Scott Hall came out on that very first impact that Hulkog had made an appearance on it. I had a lot to say to each other, didn't they. It gave us the no doubt SoundBite later on? Ye and in that first confrontation, what did Hogan say now for the last time? He said, it's different this time. Yeah, And speaking to the folks that produced he shoot interviews a title match Scott Hall after the whole Cogan Cocker verdict got him back on his feet more than I think he ever could have anticipated. And with Linda somewhere on the West Coast wondering how you can get that kind of money for cheating on your wife, Scott Hall had to raise a glass to the Hulkster. Yeah, I have. I know. I was reaching out to hulk during it, and you know, I just I told him, bro Hey, the whole world is pulling for you. It's time for you to make Nobody makes a better comeback than Halk and I was talking to him right before the whole decision came out, and he was like, bro, and he came back and he said, man, he goes, he goes the reps to drop check the arm for the third time. He said, I'm moving the finger back and forth. And then he imparentses you but thanks Dusty because that was dream stuff first. And he said I'm about to start shaking, And I said, brother, he's waiting for a big comeback. Nobody does it better. Hey, everybody makes mistakes. I've been around Hulk. I've never seen him racist at all. I just think he was like cracked. But anyway, it's all over now, he's all over. Now he's a big baby face. It's a big baby face, no doubt. Nobody makes it better comeback than Hulk Cogan. Next time, we conclude by entering the courtroom as Hulk Hogan's got to take the stand one more time, once and for all, to get this thing back on track. One two for an Alli
