Speaker 3: Welcome to our two of Kentucky Sports Radio present it by Stockton Mortgage. Now here's Matt Jones waterback.

00:01:05
Speaker 4: It is Kentucky Sports Radio. If I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven text machine seven seven two seven seven four five two five for some great texts coming in today, really good questions. Now, let me give you a couple of non sports questions. All right, they have comeing in. One person writes Matt. I need a television show to watch this week. My wife is out of town. I need something interesting to keep my attention. Task on HBO task. I'm only halfway through, but I think it just finished Sunday, and I think it's really really good about these guys who robed drug houses, and then there's an FBI agent whose wife died and he's investigating. It's like, it's it's very very good. You would like it today. This is one that I would say, if you don't mind a little violence, everyone would like.

00:01:56
Speaker 5: This is an everyone show. Have you seen You've seen the first episode? Ruffalo in it? Right?

00:02:03
Speaker 4: Ruffalo is the star?

00:02:04
Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:02:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, I did.

00:02:05
Speaker 4: I liked it. I've got to get HBO Max. That would be mine.

00:02:08
Speaker 2: Are you taking a break from the anime right now to watch the test?

00:02:11
Speaker 4: I've only gotten two anime episodes. I think it's going to be a long haul for me on the anime because it's you know, it's it's not totally my thing, but it's all right, it's okay.

00:02:20
Speaker 5: I watched The Zero Day on Netflix and like that Robert de Niro.

00:02:24
Speaker 2: I think they're an hour long.

00:02:25
Speaker 5: I watched it in six hours. It's just like an immediate binge.

00:02:28
Speaker 4: Is it good?

00:02:29
Speaker 5: Well, it's about the country losing internet and being shut down everything and they're fixing that.

00:02:35
Speaker 2: So yeah, kind of political thrill.

00:02:36
Speaker 4: It's about it to have a show with Robert de Niro.

00:02:40
Speaker 5: Well, if I watched it when I went to Denver on the plane and traveling and knocked it all out in the day because I got hooked. But I hadn't heard anything about it, so.

00:02:46
Speaker 4: I watched it one press rights, Matt, I gotta ask you a question. I see all of these sports people on TV talking about politics now, Paul Fine Bombs, Stephen A. Smith, Bomani Jones, Van Latham, Pablo Torre. Do you feel like you were ahead of the curve and that they should be all that all sports people should be on TV talking politics. Well, I wasn't ahead of the curve, but I've always been interested in politics. It is amazing to me how many of these sports people are brought on now is like like they know something, you know, So I would say, I don't want to call people out. I am fine with them doing it if they know what they're talking about. I don't care if they agree with me. Like for instance, let's use Klay Travis example. I don't agree with him, but he's smart and he knows the issues. So the fact that he's become a political commentator is fine with me because he know. I mean, I think his opinions are bad, but he knows what he's talking about. What bothers me is when people get up and they don't know what they're talking about, and just because they're smart at sports, you know, Stephen Aychen, like, that's the stuff I don't understand.

00:04:01
Speaker 2: But we're not gonna call anybody out.

00:04:02
Speaker 4: Yeah, but the people who know, I'm okay with it, you know, because ultimately they're somebody has to understand at some point. They don't put these people on television because they know anything. They put them on there because they're entertaining.

00:04:15
Speaker 5: Yeah, because they're charismatic. I mean, hold a conversation.

00:04:17
Speaker 4: CNN basically has like a clown show on their show, Like they bring a fitness person on there, and they bring the guy from Sharp Tank, and they bring just I mean, mister wonderful. They had a nineteen year old kid on there the other day, Like what does he know? He doesn't know anything. So I told my mom years ago, none of these people know anything. As well as you accept that, then it's totally fine.

00:04:40
Speaker 5: That's why I don't watch much of it because as soon as I turn it on, I'm like, why would I talk about this.

00:04:45
Speaker 4: Like what this this person doesn't know anything?

00:04:49
Speaker 5: Like KOs R. You know you're getting football expertise.

00:04:51
Speaker 4: We acknowledge though we don't know any Yeah, we leave. I mean I don't think he may listen Shannon to Ryan and goes, that's a political expert.

00:05:00
Speaker 2: Oh no, I do have a political question for you. Oh no, So what's going on in Alabama? Tommy Tuberville, that's your question?

00:05:08
Speaker 4: Things are going on?

00:05:09
Speaker 2: Tommy Tuberville, Paul fine Bomb, Bruce Pearl's afforded with it. Charles Barkley for whether everybody in Alabama that you had to have to be a former athlete or connected to sports or exactly.

00:05:20
Speaker 4: I mean, that's that's stupid too, Like and again I consider running, but I remember looking at the Democrats when I went up there and met with him, and like it should you shouldn't have to use me, right, Like you shouldn't have to use me. I'm a sports person, but in Alabama it seems like it's the only thing. Why like Kaylin de Boor will run one day, I don't know. I mean, Paul Finebomb versus Bruce Pearl is the most ridiculous primary you could.

00:05:47
Speaker 2: We would all pay attention to it.

00:05:48
Speaker 4: Well I would not, yeah, but I mean that's like, that's what it's all. Just you have to be a celebrity now and then Alabama's sports is the biggest celebrity thing.

00:05:59
Speaker 2: Do you think five mom is really going to try to run?

00:06:02
Speaker 4: Well, I mean I haven't talked to him, but I don't know why he would say all this. He probably won't. I mean, he's making a lot of money, but I don't know, what's the why does he do all this if he's not gonna run? Yeah, you know, now people might say the same thing about me, but I genuinely almost did. Like, I mean, ESPN is not gonna love that he did all this unless unless he runs. So I don't know, but I doubt it nothing. I mean, Steve and he's not gonna run either, right, they just say it.

00:06:33
Speaker 2: You never know with him. He's such a wild card.

00:06:36
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's one way to put it. Eight if I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. All right, let's talk about a couple of this is non serious stuff Lebron James, who, by the way, Steven A. Smith did say it. I don't like his ass yesterday. Yeah, Like, what's that?

00:06:54
Speaker 2: Do I mean?

00:06:54
Speaker 6: Literally or just like him in general?

00:06:57
Speaker 4: I think he've been him in general more squats, but like you're I thought it was, but he was. He posted an Instagram photo of him eating pizza and he says best pizza in LA And in the picture he's eating it with a knife and fork, and he's getting blasted for it, saying you cannot eat pizza. It was regular Pete, whatn't deep dish? This was just slice you would get, okay, And he said, and everybody's blasting for a knife and a fork. Is it acceptable? I'm not talking deep dish. I'm talking slice a pizza like you would get it. Say, goodfellow, is it acceptable? To eat with a knife and a fork.

00:07:34
Speaker 5: It has to be a pretty messy pizza. I mean, like you said, deep dish, that's almost like a lasagna. You pretty much have to but just a standard slice. No, I think you gotta eat it like a like a real person. I think it's unacceptable use your hands. You have to eat pizza. It's like a hot dog.

00:07:49
Speaker 4: If I see somebody eating a hot dog with a knife and fork, I think they're a cycle path exactly. Even unless you're like maybe at Skyline and the chili's really runny. He gives a normal piece of pizza and he's eating with a knife and fork. It's the first time I thought, Okay, Michael Jordan is the grace for sure. It's not even a debate because he would eat it with his hands.

00:08:10
Speaker 2: I'm going to give a pass. One instance. If you have braces, you can eat pizza with a knife and.

00:08:16
Speaker 6: A four Lebron doesn't have braces.

00:08:18
Speaker 4: What do you mean if you have braces?

00:08:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, if you try to eat pizza with braces, it gets all in your junk and your braces and your brackets and your wire. When did you have braces in high school? So this is stuck with you for forty years. Oh yeah, yeah, to eat pizza with a knife and a fork when I had braces, I pass on.

00:08:35
Speaker 3: How does that change things? Though it's still going in your mouth?

00:08:38
Speaker 4: Yeah, you're like that. I remember when I had Brace's corn on the cob. I couldn't eat I could not eat it with brace. I had to like cut it off. So I but but let's assume Lebron's not wearing braces.

00:08:50
Speaker 2: Acceptable absolutely not like a man.

00:08:54
Speaker 3: No, I'm with you. It's like eating a hamburger with a fork and a knife. You're not going to do that. So, no, you can't.

00:08:59
Speaker 4: Can't like that.

00:09:00
Speaker 5: This is the kind of stuff Lebron does. That's a little corny hater. I'm not a Lebron hater, but like when he says he reads a book and they ask him his favorite part and he can't say a single thing about the book. He claims he invented Taco Tuesday. He just puts stuff out there. I worked at Taco Tuesday in like middle school. Lebron was in middle school when I was working. He invented the question. Man, when Lebron does this? One didn't as bad, But when he's so corny off the court.

00:09:26
Speaker 4: It's when I'm like, come on, I want to like, all right, what do we think about the break in at the louver? Yeah, they break through this. First of all, I'm shocked how easy it was. So I thought when I heard that they broke in the louver and stole all these jewels, I thought it had to be like an Ocean's eleven plot.

00:09:46
Speaker 2: Yes, of course, right, Like.

00:09:47
Speaker 4: I thought they had to be using lasers. Don cheatle would be involved in a van somewhere, a van. There would be an acrobat coming down in the ceiling. They just had a ladder channing, just a ladder. Broke through the window on the second floor, ran in, broke the glass, got it, came down the ladder and left.

00:10:06
Speaker 2: Like in what seven and a half minutes? It all it took amazing.

00:10:10
Speaker 4: It seems to me for jewels that they said are incalculable in value.

00:10:16
Speaker 6: It's that easy.

00:10:18
Speaker 2: Why is it that easy?

00:10:19
Speaker 6: You need? It was a ladder from home depot.

00:10:20
Speaker 4: Yeah, he just had a ladder.

00:10:22
Speaker 2: Did you see the ladders? Like a painter ladder? Rickety ladders leaning against the building.

00:10:28
Speaker 4: The love is I've been there. It's like one of the most crowded museums in the world, and it hadn't opened yet, but it was about to open, so everyone was waiting outside.

00:10:37
Speaker 5: Do you think because of the ladder and just the sheer audacity people walking by, like, well.

00:10:41
Speaker 2: I guess he's just painting there.

00:10:42
Speaker 4: There's no way. There's no way they're breaking it because he's just got to.

00:10:45
Speaker 5: Lean against the front of the building climbing up it.

00:10:47
Speaker 4: It's unbelievable, and they stole eight of them. They also said the Lover's policy is when they hear of a break in, they have the security guards go outside so they I guess they don't get shot. Well, what's the point of having a security guard if they run outside?

00:11:05
Speaker 6: Yeah, they're gonna run away.

00:11:07
Speaker 4: I mean, no offense to the French, but like, like, I couldn't the security guards leave if they know there's a break in.

00:11:17
Speaker 2: That's what this article said, run outside and hide from people.

00:11:20
Speaker 4: What do they do they they don't want they're trying to protect the security guards, like like not get them shot?

00:11:25
Speaker 2: Then well I have security guards.

00:11:27
Speaker 4: We'll just have cameras. What's the point of a security guard if he sees something and then runs away.

00:11:32
Speaker 5: It reminds me I was a pool watcher, but I wasn't certified, so if someone was drowning, I wasn't allowed to do anything. I had to call someone. This defeats the purpose. You have a lifeguard, you can't jump in the pool. That was me days in Madisonvielle, my first job. You worked at the day indoor pool in the summer. You should have seen my tan.

00:11:48
Speaker 4: They had a lifeguard at the day's in and don't call.

00:11:50
Speaker 2: Me a lifeguard.

00:11:51
Speaker 5: I would sit there all day, but if something happened, I had to call someone.

00:11:54
Speaker 3: That was like the relay man basically, yeah, basically just.

00:11:59
Speaker 4: A phone call guy. So they got out. Now my second question is where are they gonna sell this?

00:12:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, it words out, it's been stolen. We're gonna do with it.

00:12:09
Speaker 4: I don't understand why you would want something that you couldn't. I mean, I guess they could sell it on the black market, But then the person that gets it, what are they going to do with it?

00:12:18
Speaker 3: Put it on facebook market? I mean, you can't do anything with it. You can't, can't. It's only bragging, right, So then somebody's going to talk and brag to their friends, and then that person's gonna tell it, They're gonna get it.

00:12:29
Speaker 4: Isn't it crazy that they're not caught yet. I mean, they broke into the world's most popular museum minutes before it opened in broad daylight in Paris, France, on a rickety old ladder, and they're not caught yet.

00:12:46
Speaker 5: I know it's an old building, but I thought we would have had some thicker glass in me to just like tap it with a hammer.

00:12:51
Speaker 4: They said to hit it with a hammer.

00:12:54
Speaker 5: I mean off with just a regular painter's truck and the tools they had in it.

00:12:58
Speaker 4: Literally, they could have gotten the guy that's painting a office building and done this. He took a ladder, hit a hammer through the window, ran in, hit a hammer for the glass on the jewels. I thought that was thicker, didn't you.

00:13:11
Speaker 2: You'd think that would be like bulletproof crack proof glass.

00:13:15
Speaker 4: At the love they tell you can't take pictures with your camera because it'll ruin the jewels, but you can just break the glass with a hammer.

00:13:23
Speaker 2: Doesn't seem possible.

00:13:24
Speaker 4: That story is amazing to me. And the fact that they're still still not caught. They still don't know who.

00:13:30
Speaker 2: Did it, right, You know, there's cameras all around the outside and inside of the building too. There's like I have video of these people. Somehow they got away.

00:13:36
Speaker 4: Is unbelieve, Mark, Anthony, go ahead, heyt Andrew and Shannon, Hey Matthew.

00:13:43
Speaker 7: You understand they're scared. They're gonna bust the stones off all those pieces and sell them. I don't know, maybe so.

00:13:49
Speaker 4: But I would think the stones together in the I would think the history is what makes the value, not the stone itself. So if you break it all apart, you don't have the history. But what do I know. I don't know.

00:14:02
Speaker 7: Well, you got some pretty good sized stones from the picture. Nonetheless, Anyway, you know, the youngsters these days, they do not remember the day when a six win season and going to the Toilet Bowl was major victory for us. They don't remember that stuff. Then stoops he had with eight straight bowl years. Yes, yeah, that's what they remember. And then he got a contract based on eight straight bowl years, having the most wins of any head coach ever, and ever since then the value his product has fallen off. Correct here we are and so at the end of the year, assuming that Mitch calls him in says, Mark, we got to do something I don't know that he'll offer a compromise. Shannon's absolutely right. He's perfectly within his rights to demand the contract be billed ass written. But I think he'd have to be a butt head to do that because he knows he has not delivered the quality product.

00:15:04
Speaker 4: Well, it would be interesting to see Mark Anthony and I don't know the answer to this. I appreciate the call. Have coaches ever done that? Has any coach ever been like, I'll work with you. I don't know. Maybe somebody, maybe somebody who knows more about it than I do, can answer that. Corn Bread hemps is helping folks settle in the season with a little extra feel good. Go to cornbreadhimp dot com promo code KSR seventy five dollars, get a free set of gummies one hundred and twenty five dollars a free tope bag at Cornbread Hemp. We'll take a break. Be right back KSR. Welcome back Tekey Sports Radio. If I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven, one person writes, Matt, I don't think Jimmy Sexton's gonna be agreeable to any change that's Stoops's agent if people don't know, because it would set the president that other coaches should do the same thing. That's actually a fair point. When you have like the best agent in the country, he is not gonna want to set a precedent that then other schools can go, Hey, Jimmy, you did it with Mark Stoops, maybe you could do with us. I hadn't really thought of it like that, But that's actually a really good point. And he's a shark he is. I wonder what makes him so good? Like everybody acts like yo, ye have Jimmy Sexton. I mean even Lane Keffn brought him up. Lane Kiffin said something like all these contracts are what they are.

00:16:38
Speaker 5: Because of Jimmy Sexton, and he has a lot of these guys that are named this cycle. He's got a busy couple months coming up.

00:16:44
Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, So a lot of people are saying, Shannon, they're gonna recut the stones, melt down the precious metals and then and then do it. I get that, But I would think, and again I know nothing about jewels, but I would think the fact that these were like Queen whatever's make some more valuable than they would just be as a jewel on themselves, right.

00:17:05
Speaker 6: I would think.

00:17:06
Speaker 4: So, Yeah, I mean, I maybe you sacrifice the difference so you don't get caught and you make money.

00:17:11
Speaker 3: They can make multiple pieces and sell them to multiple people, maybe make more money that way. I'm not sure. I'm not sure how it works. I've never stolen any diamonds before, so I wouldn't know. Well, I didn't think of that, not a professional.

00:17:25
Speaker 5: No, we know how easy it is, though.

00:17:26
Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the scaries thing about it.

00:17:28
Speaker 2: I mean, just they got a ladder.

00:17:30
Speaker 3: In general, you can just walk into a building you think, you know some of these places are on lockdown and you can just walk right in if you've got a ladder.

00:17:36
Speaker 4: I cannot believe the loof like what I mean of all the museums, like that is the most famous museum in the world, and they got in. You gotta look up the ladder, like I don't even know if I would get on that ladder, I'd be worried I was gonna fall.

00:17:56
Speaker 2: And they it said seven and a half minutes head take two or three minutes, climb the ladder and climb down. So are they in the loop for just like a minute?

00:18:03
Speaker 4: I just I now think I've watched all these movies where people do these elaborate I like heist movies. Right, you have all the Oceans eleven's. Uh, there's a TV show called Heist that's like a Spanish show. That's kind of good. The Italian Job, the Italians. Yes, that's a great one. I love all that. And now to think it's just will get you a hammer, Bobby.

00:18:25
Speaker 5: Let's go right, it's just propped up against it's I can't believe it's that easy.

00:18:29
Speaker 4: It's taken the whole myth of it away from me. Julio, what's up, first time call?

00:18:36
Speaker 8: Or what's up?

00:18:39
Speaker 9: So with the high stuff? I was, I have a different point when we get to but, uh, there's a pink panthers. They rob a lot of places in Europe. Now they're doing the interviews because they're retiring. Basically, you don't do a heights like that unless you already have a fence and a deal made.

00:18:54
Speaker 4: Gotcha, they're called pink past. Wait a minute, that's where pink panther comes from. Interesting, Yeah, I didn't know that.

00:19:02
Speaker 9: That.

00:19:03
Speaker 4: Did you know that? No? Did you know that, Shanna? Did you know that's what pink panther? So is that the term for those kind of robbers or pink panthers?

00:19:11
Speaker 10: No?

00:19:11
Speaker 11: No, No, that's a it's a society basically. Yeah, it's loosely a mob or something. But they pulled these heights and basically rich people pay them and they fence the saying the jewels are largely insured. So it's a large insurance scam. So it doesn't really matter. Now with a loop, that's more than likely a very rich client paint a lot of money to get that.

00:19:35
Speaker 4: Yeah, but then the rich client can't put it anywhere like one of the here's the thing I don't understand about art. And then I'll let you make a point. I've never understood the idea that you would buy painting or buy a piece of art and then not hang.

00:19:47
Speaker 2: It up right if it was stolen.

00:19:49
Speaker 4: You same thing. So if you have these jewels, you've got like I've got the Queen of France in fifteen thirties jewels, if you can't show anybody and you have to hide it, Shannon, so you don't go to prison, what was the point of having it to begin with?

00:20:01
Speaker 6: So, I mean, that's usually what happens.

00:20:02
Speaker 3: You know, you want to brag about this, so you invite your friends to brag about it. Then they tell somebody, and then they tell somebody and then next thing, you know, they find out where it is.

00:20:10
Speaker 4: I don't understand why you would want a piece of art or something if you couldn't display it, Like these people who buy paintings and put them in storage. I don't understand that. Gotta be an ego thing just knowing you have it. Yeah, and you haven't so much painting, but I'm going to keep it in the storage rack, Then why don't you just buy? Stop that.

00:20:30
Speaker 3: People with those egos like to brag about it, and that's why the truth always comes out.

00:20:34
Speaker 5: Yeah, and they probably have so much that they can't get, you know, satisfaction from going out.

00:20:40
Speaker 4: What was your other thing.

00:20:42
Speaker 9: Yeah, you mentioned a couple of weeks ago Brad White would be the favorite to replace Stoops, or at least one of the favorites.

00:20:48
Speaker 4: No, No, that wasn't what I said. I said that Brad White would have been going into the season. If you had said the job comes open, Brad White and John Sumraw would have been Mitch's first two choices. I think after this has played out in these last six weeks, Mitch could not pick Brad White.

00:21:04
Speaker 9: Now, Okay, that makes sense. I was gonna say, if they were going to do that, that would be very luke warn the reception. So you kind of would have to almost fire Stoops now and promote him and then have him maybe win some games in order to get the fan base one over to embrace him.

00:21:21
Speaker 4: You're probably right about that. If you really wanted Brad White, I appreciate the call. That's probably what you'd have to do, right because now they can't pick him.

00:21:29
Speaker 2: I think there's still some people out there that who fans because they think he's he's the.

00:21:35
Speaker 4: What fans do you think are clamoring for Brad White to be the.

00:21:38
Speaker 2: Headcut I think I think there are fans out there that are thinking that Brad White has been the coach in waiting for a couple of years, and all.

00:21:44
Speaker 4: Right, I'd like to hear from one of those. Yeah, No, I mean a five nine twenty two eighty seven. Ryan says that you exist.

00:21:51
Speaker 2: I think they're out there, you do, I think they're out there.

00:21:54
Speaker 4: You think the phone lines are gonna light up with Brad White fan?

00:21:56
Speaker 2: No, there aren't that many, but they think there's some out there.

00:21:58
Speaker 4: We have four open lines. Get do you think we have four? No, So you're telling me an opinion that you think less than four people have probably on a day like this, you know, like one person that has it? Yes, okay, without telling me who the person is, describe to me the person clamoring for Brad White, besides his wife.

00:22:19
Speaker 2: Former football player that knows a heck of a lot more football.

00:22:22
Speaker 4: Than we do, and once Brad White he.

00:22:25
Speaker 2: Would be okay with it.

00:22:26
Speaker 4: I think it's a little different than wanting all right, Well, let's see the phone lines may light up here, right eight five, twenty two eighty seven. The NBA starts tonight, it does did you know that?

00:22:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, the big game two A Rockets.

00:22:39
Speaker 4: And the Shepherd versus Shay. You'll just Alexander to start the season. Are you gonna watch? Re read? Looks like he's not gonna start, but he'll play quite a bit.

00:22:50
Speaker 5: Yeah, they will. With their tall line up, they can't other than Durant, they can't space the four of They have trees out there. I can't believe they're.

00:22:56
Speaker 4: Doing tass their point guard six' eight. Yeah, so, reed Shepherd, he's over under his one and a half may threes tonight?

00:23:05
Speaker 2: Oh really?

00:23:06
Speaker 4: But no, no, Wow, you got that? Yeah, you think he gets too.

00:23:11
Speaker 2: I think he's gonna play a lot and I'm on the floor a lot.

00:23:13
Speaker 4: So you bet it.

00:23:14
Speaker 2: I might bet that.

00:23:15
Speaker 4: Is that gonna be your draft Kings?

00:23:17
Speaker 2: Make it? Make it right now?

00:23:19
Speaker 4: All right? So read Shepherd more than one and a half?

00:23:21
Speaker 2: Three?

00:23:21
Speaker 4: Do it all right? I'll take it. We'll take a break. Eight five, nine to eight. One phone line ringing for the Brad White Express. We are back. TJ. Smith, personal injury attorney called TJ.

00:23:33
Speaker 6: He'll make them pay now.

00:23:35
Speaker 3: More of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage.

00:23:38
Speaker 6: Here's Matt Jones have.

00:23:39
Speaker 4: You seen the pictures of this ballroom they're putting it in the White House. It's ugly. Have you seen it?

00:23:45
Speaker 2: I haven't seen.

00:23:46
Speaker 4: It's gonna be bigger than the White House itself. The ballroom, that's what says looks ugly. I mean, I'm not an architecture guy, but the White House, I will say. You go to other countries, their presidential places are much nicer than ours.

00:24:01
Speaker 2: And we got to take the tour of the White House with the crickety crackety little narrow hallways, turns and corners.

00:24:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, oh it needs work.

00:24:07
Speaker 5: I wouldn't have done the ballroom.

00:24:08
Speaker 4: I would This drawing makes it look bigger than the actual White House. So well, whatever, two eighty cent. By the way, the basketball tonight. Do you know what networks have basketball?

00:24:22
Speaker 2: I don't, all right.

00:24:24
Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to one to be very different. So do you know where? Do you even know where the game tonight is? On Opening Night?

00:24:30
Speaker 2: Don't know?

00:24:30
Speaker 4: All right? Jared does, Shane? Do you know that where Opening.

00:24:33
Speaker 6: Night is on?

00:24:34
Speaker 8: No?

00:24:34
Speaker 6: I could guess, but I don't know.

00:24:36
Speaker 4: NBC really NBC. So every Tuesday night during the NBA season, there will be two live games on NBC Network Television.

00:24:45
Speaker 2: I didn't know that.

00:24:45
Speaker 4: That hasn't happened. That hasn't happened in forever. Oh. Then ESPN is tomorrow night, and that's will be the debut of Barkley and all those guys on ESPN.

00:24:55
Speaker 6: Okay, and they're bringing back the old NBA.

00:24:58
Speaker 4: They're bringing the old NBA music back, basketball, basket basketball. Sorry that's saturadyight lefskin, but the can't wait. Yeah, so that's coming back. And then there's gonna be games on Amazon. It's Amazon, ESPN, AB, NBC. Maybe that's it, but they're but they're all gonna be on there, and Peacock oing on Peacock.

00:25:25
Speaker 2: You can watch the games on Peacock. And they're gonna do it every Tuesday night on NBC.

00:25:29
Speaker 4: I think so. And then once football ends, they'll do it also on Sunday night. So a lot of games, uh, everywhere. And you saw John wall Is on the Amazon coverage. So when the games are on Amazon, John Walls in the studio, our.

00:25:44
Speaker 5: Boy, Noah Eagles doing the NBC.

00:25:47
Speaker 4: Noah Eagles doing it. So a lot of people we know, all right, So there are people on here who who claim to be bread white people. But before we get to them.

00:25:58
Speaker 3: Apparently he hung up, so he didn't claim to be anyone.

00:26:04
Speaker 4: I didn't know this. You're an Evansville guy too, hung up? Okay, Evansville. Did you know that in twenty twelve in Evansville a storage facility found a Picasso. No, Apparently someone had put a Picasso in a storage facility in Evansville and forgotten it, and then they found it.

00:26:29
Speaker 2: What after the person passed and they have to open it up and get it.

00:26:31
Speaker 4: I guess it was when you do the things? How what is it like you abandon a storage facility so long and then you can open it up and take it.

00:26:38
Speaker 2: And they found a Piasto painting in there.

00:26:40
Speaker 4: That's what this guy says. Now, he may be wrong, but it seems like a weird story to make up. I think that's true.

00:26:46
Speaker 5: I'm reading through a new story about it.

00:26:47
Speaker 4: So what does it say?

00:26:50
Speaker 5: It just so far it only says how an extremely rare Pablo Picasso was found in an Evansville museum in a storage space.

00:26:56
Speaker 2: I'm still going through the sea value or anything. But yeah, there's new stories about it.

00:26:59
Speaker 4: And then evan Evansville has some museum yep, and they had a picasso.

00:27:04
Speaker 5: Uh yeah, I guess this is a few years old, but it says it's on display at the museum. I better get my fan. This is from last year, all.

00:27:11
Speaker 4: Right, put it out. So let's do the non Brad White call, and then I want to run through these Brad White people.

00:27:17
Speaker 12: Nick, go ahead, Nick, Hey, guys, how's it going good? So first comment on Chef tonight, I would take the overt. I think Chef's gonna make more threason than that, so I'll take the over there. I'll set the line for Brad White fans at zero because I don't think they're already out there.

00:27:34
Speaker 4: There's five who claimed to be. We'll see if they actually are, but go ahead, well, we'll see.

00:27:39
Speaker 12: I think you guys made great points yesterday about this. I can't see a world where he gets promoted and we we ditched too, So I just don't think the money makes sense. I'm getting ready out of town. So I had a question for you guys in basketball front. Is okay if I asked that, go for it?

00:27:50
Speaker 4: Yes?

00:27:52
Speaker 9: Okay?

00:27:53
Speaker 4: Uh?

00:27:54
Speaker 12: Looking at Purdue this weekend, so che I think Chef is pretty fitting for this because I probably went to about ten basketball games and coaches last season at RUP that year, so I saw this team play. I got to quite a few games that season. I'm still crushed by that.

00:28:08
Speaker 4: The Shepherd, all right, but what about this perdue thing?

00:28:12
Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:28:12
Speaker 12: So what are you guys looking for this weekend? This this Friday night? Three things you want to see from this Kentucky tea.

00:28:17
Speaker 4: I want to see a team appreciate the car. I want to see the team be able to defend three point shooting, which is what Purdue' is good at. I want to see how our offense runs. And then I want to see which of these dudes, not name Otega Away, Jalen Lowe, who's going to be guys we can rely on. I think there's like eight guys, and I don't know which one it's going to be. It's a good start. You're throwing them into the to the wild here against the number one team.

00:28:40
Speaker 2: I'll ad uh.

00:28:41
Speaker 5: We didn't want this to happen, but now we'll know pretty quickly the backup point guard situation, because that's who will be playing.

00:28:45
Speaker 2: We've wondered who would be.

00:28:47
Speaker 4: He'll be Aberdeen to start, but seeing a little bit of the blue white I think as the year goes on, Jasper will get more and more capable.

00:28:54
Speaker 5: But I think you start the year with Aberdeen.

00:28:56
Speaker 4: Yeah, So I just I really just want to see the guys in this new era, uh Ryan, where we don't know seven or eighty of the players. One thing you just want to do is see how does it all fit together.

00:29:06
Speaker 2: We're so loaded in the front court. I'm kind of curious to the you know, the backcourt guys too, Just kind of just see how they would, how they get the minutes, how he spreads it out, who's gonna play?

00:29:13
Speaker 4: And by Jaalen Low not playing, we have a built in excuse if we don't win, so we can just go up Jaalen Low played. We'd want if we win, we'd want all right, I'm gonna run through these Brad white people here. I'm gonna get you. I want all of you on here. If you're a Brad white person, if you're not a Brad white person, just go ahead and hang up, okay, because I want to run through the Brad white people like one person just hung up. Okay. So now I want you to give me the twenty second case for Brad White to see if Ryan was correct that a lot of fans want the other person just hung up. We're down to fourth.

00:29:47
Speaker 6: He couldn't make twenty seconds worth of a case.

00:29:49
Speaker 4: All right, four people, Steve, go get the bay.

00:29:53
Speaker 13: The reason why you might want to get Brad White is we have always had an extreme good defense sec. When you look at all of our games, we have kept the point total low enough where if we had any kind of offense whatsoever, we could have won the game. We are in games competing in the matter.

00:30:14
Speaker 4: All right, wasn't twenty seconds, but you'd have a good defense, all right, Joe and Philly twenty second, Brad White case, I got the wrong segment.

00:30:25
Speaker 9: I thought we were doing Kevin O'Connell quarter.

00:30:28
Speaker 4: Mike twenty second, Brad White case. I'm one hundred percent behind Ryan Laman. I think we should hire Brad gelliferry for the football. Brad are not giving babies?

00:30:43
Speaker 10: All right?

00:30:43
Speaker 4: Now, we're doubt only one person has made the case. There's one person left on the phone. Patrick, twenty seconds.

00:30:50
Speaker 9: I'll coffee something. That's Matt. I don't give a damn.

00:30:53
Speaker 2: That's well.

00:30:58
Speaker 4: Six people were on phone.

00:31:00
Speaker 6: We have no callers.

00:31:01
Speaker 4: We have no callers, and you got one person. But you said there was.

00:31:07
Speaker 2: A big part of the f I did not say big. I said some. I know there's people out there exactly what I said. And here's the argument I thought somebody would make.

00:31:14
Speaker 4: They didn't.

00:31:14
Speaker 2: We're not gonna get these other guys. We're not gonna get John.

00:31:17
Speaker 4: Okay, why do you say that?

00:31:19
Speaker 2: That's the argument people are gonna make it. I'm not saying it there No.

00:31:22
Speaker 4: Now, I will grant you if we want a guy with no ties to Kentucky and Florida wants EIM or Penn State or Auburn, we're not gonna get it. Correct, I'll grant you that. But with John Somemraw and will Stein specifically, because Brian Hartline's connection to Kentucky's kind of tenuous, like his brother played.

00:31:43
Speaker 2: Here and he's on the staff.

00:31:44
Speaker 4: Still right, Yes, but will Stein and and some araw have strong connections to Kentucky. Why don't you think that can win out. I'm not gonna say this.

00:31:56
Speaker 2: I think some people feel like the other schools have a bigger drawl than Kentucky football.

00:32:00
Speaker 4: I agree with you in the abstract.

00:32:03
Speaker 2: So if you've got a chance to take the Florida job.

00:32:05
Speaker 4: But if you're John summer On, you went here, or if you're Will Stein and you grew up here.

00:32:10
Speaker 2: But it's Florida, you got more money.

00:32:13
Speaker 5: I don't think Florida's looking for those guys.

00:32:15
Speaker 4: I agree, Florida's not gonna hire. You can throw Florida out. And I don't think Penn State's gonna hire now. Auburn would be the one to.

00:32:20
Speaker 5: Watch for someone or Ole Miss if Lane Kiffin leaves.

00:32:23
Speaker 4: But I but I don't think Kentucky is necessarily less attractive than Old Miss. Kentucky is less attractive than Auburn, But Old Miss I don't know. Would you want to follow Lane Kiff and this dude who's had more success than anybody they've had in forty years. That's a hard chair to fill.

00:32:38
Speaker 2: I go the other way.

00:32:38
Speaker 5: I think it's a pretty attractive job right now because these coaches, if you're good, if you're a candidate, you're already doing well and you're confident, and you're looking at Clark Lee Signetti. We've mentioned all these teams that have popped in the top twenty five, and they're thinking they did it. I would love to go do it at Kentucky.

00:32:52
Speaker 2: Where it hadn't been done. This next step.

00:32:54
Speaker 5: All these people have egos and confidence. We're taking it from the loser mentality of longtime football fans. They an opportunity to knock down another door.

00:33:01
Speaker 4: And you could argue that when Vandy and Indiana have just had this year, Kentucky looks more attractive.

00:33:08
Speaker 5: You're like, they probably love the opportunity, not and the money you have, the sec money. The rev share is changing.

00:33:16
Speaker 4: Yeah, Stacey's a Brad White fan.

00:33:17
Speaker 10: Go Stacey, Stacey, Yes right here?

00:33:24
Speaker 9: Can you hear me?

00:33:26
Speaker 4: Still can't go?

00:33:28
Speaker 8: Yes, Yes, I am.

00:33:29
Speaker 10: A Brad White fan, and I think he should be our next head coach. He loves Kentucky. He is a great developer, and all of his players love him and always talk about what a great practice mentality they have and going into the game. Now he's on the sideline.

00:33:48
Speaker 4: So Stacey adds to it. So now there's a clamoring Shannon. Now we're up in too. Yeah.

00:33:53
Speaker 5: I just I can be coaching by the Tennessee game.

00:33:55
Speaker 6: At this rate, We've got a few more.

00:33:56
Speaker 5: I think I want to ask all these people how involved is Brad and recruiting in IL Right now? The defense is great, but we're not hiring a defensive coordinator. You need someone who can go out and get players.

00:34:07
Speaker 4: Uh, Draft Kings. So we are going to We're gonna go with three chipper.

00:34:11
Speaker 2: I bet it during the commercial break.

00:34:12
Speaker 5: You bet the plus one minute Harley over eight points.

00:34:15
Speaker 4: All right, all your favorite NBA players are back tonight. Number one sports book for live bang. Well, there's two games tonight, but Draft Kings sports Book. Bet five. You can get up to three. First of all, you bet five dollars. Now you get three months of league pass.

00:34:29
Speaker 2: Right, but you've already signed up, already signed up.

00:34:32
Speaker 4: That's actually a great deal. It is a great deal. You get five, bet five dollars, you get three months of league pass, plus three hundred dollars in bonus bets. If your bet wins, you're silly if you don't.

00:34:41
Speaker 2: If you're an NBA guy, why wouldn't you do that?

00:34:43
Speaker 4: Yeah, that would actually be great. Call one eight hundred gambler.

00:34:46
Speaker 9: Uh.

00:34:46
Speaker 4: If you have a giving problem, the crown is yours with DraftKings learn more one hundred game or eighteen plus Kentucky only the alsibulter string supply. Bet must win, receive bonus bets. To fire in seven days. MINIMALI has required NBA League pass all renews until cancel distant terms d K slash audio limited time off. So we're all doing rechip break, all right, there are some there are some brad white people, and I got something else I want to chat about. We'll be right back KSR. So this Picasso Evansville story is actually interesting. Yeah, would you like to hear it real quick? Yes? Please? The Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science.

00:35:19
Speaker 2: I may have been in that museum.

00:35:21
Speaker 4: It has a storage facility, and there was a painting that was called Seated Woman with Red Hat. Okay, there it is. There's the seated Woman with red hat.

00:35:32
Speaker 2: She does have red hat.

00:35:33
Speaker 4: It was labeled as a Jemo, but Jimo is not a person. It's the technique Picasso used to paint. So no one ever looked at it because they thought it was a Jemo, but it was actually a Picasso. When they realized it in twenty twelve, they didn't know what to do. They were going to sell it for the money for the museum, but then they decided they wanted it to be in Evansville. But you have to have a lot of money to show a Picasso Shandon because of what we've talked about. You don't want to get it stolen, right, you need temperature control either. And then in twenty twenty four, a private art group has donated the money to the Evansville Museum for them to be able to do what they need to do to showcase the Picasso, and it will open in January of twenty twenty seven. Be able to see a Picasso in Evansville at the Evansville Museum of Art, History and Science.

00:36:31
Speaker 2: So for the past thirteen years as its still been back in the storage unit just I don't know.

00:36:34
Speaker 4: I guess it's been in somebody's house or something.

00:36:37
Speaker 5: I'm learning that people don't take good care of our fine pieces of art and jewelry. We're just taking ladders to get jewels, we're finding Piassos.

00:36:44
Speaker 4: People at the museum expect tourists from around the world to go to Evansville. There are Picasso tourist whose goal is to see every Picasso in person, and now they will have to add Evansville to their list of places.

00:36:57
Speaker 2: I bet Don Minnigley goes to that museum.

00:37:00
Speaker 4: It's kind of I actually think that's kind of cool for Evansville? Isn't it that they get to like I don't know how many there are, but there probably aren't many in places like Evansville.

00:37:11
Speaker 2: What he Piccostle died in what the seventies?

00:37:13
Speaker 13: No?

00:37:13
Speaker 2: No, I'm not sure he was in the seventies.

00:37:15
Speaker 4: Yeah, does that you miss him?

00:37:18
Speaker 9: Well?

00:37:20
Speaker 2: You'd think you know, all this money and van Gold, these guys died hundreds of years ago. But Picastle.

00:37:27
Speaker 4: You name another artist of fame that died in your lifetime?

00:37:33
Speaker 2: Uh?

00:37:35
Speaker 4: No, okay, nobody. What about the guy with the white hair the soup can?

00:37:43
Speaker 6: I can name one?

00:37:44
Speaker 4: Wait, man, hang on, I want to see if this you know, the soup, the tomato soup can. He's very famous. Andy Okay, what was his last name?

00:37:51
Speaker 2: Dufrayin?

00:37:55
Speaker 8: That was.

00:37:58
Speaker 4: Andy Rooney sixty minutes andyer governor of Kentucky, Andy Warhol, Andy Warhol. All right, you had one Shannon Bob Ross, Bob.

00:38:13
Speaker 2: Bob Ross.

00:38:14
Speaker 4: Yes, you could have done Bob Ross. And then what's the guy that paints all the stuff of like of wilderness.

00:38:21
Speaker 5: James James or James j Ottoman. I was gonna add.

00:38:24
Speaker 4: Here you go. They have a lot of his stuff at Pine Mountain State Park in uh in Pineville.

00:38:29
Speaker 2: Bird Birds?

00:38:30
Speaker 4: All right, we got I want to get the Brad White people. But quickly NBA starting, we have to pick our winners. Who's in the NBA Finals.

00:38:39
Speaker 2: Of course I would say the Pacers, but Halliburton's not playing this year. Yeah, so I'm gonna and I know everyone I'm gonna. I'm gonna go to the Calves because I'm gonna go off versus who. Uh, let's say Rockets. I'll go Rockets, Caves, Rockets, who wins Rockets? All right, so you're gonna take the Rockets who lost Fred van Fleet?

00:38:55
Speaker 8: Uh?

00:38:55
Speaker 4: Who you got?

00:38:58
Speaker 5: I think Shay gets back with the thun Under. You know, I'm join round with the Calves. They were disappointing, but they were so good in the regular season last year. I say they get it done this year.

00:39:07
Speaker 4: Got Thunder winning it?

00:39:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, Thunder winning it.

00:39:09
Speaker 4: Thunder Nicks Nicks. I'll take the Thunder to win and repeat, Shannon.

00:39:14
Speaker 6: I like the Thunder as well.

00:39:16
Speaker 3: Against the Boston Celtics without Tatum.

00:39:19
Speaker 6: They don't need Tatum.

00:39:20
Speaker 5: Get them out of here the media.

00:39:24
Speaker 3: Tatum Drew's got a point. Did you see how bad they beat that meeting. Lakers are only gonna get to like.

00:39:32
Speaker 4: Twenty fair enough, all right, twenty seconds Brad White, Brian.

00:39:36
Speaker 14: Go, Okay, we already have a great defense with him. Now he goes out and gets the best offensive coordinator that we can get, but actually lets him call the plays, actually lets him do his job. He knows the sec. I think that's what's been holding their offense backs. We've had some good offensive coordinators.

00:39:55
Speaker 9: I don't think Stoops has let them do their job completely.

00:39:59
Speaker 4: Actually a bad case if you were going to make one gork.

00:40:04
Speaker 8: Yeah, Brad White is the same age as John summerl they're young guys and like he's the last guy said, we's got a great defense though he's a great defensive mind. If he proves that he can be flexible a little bit with the offense and show pace. Hey, sky's the lemon.

00:40:22
Speaker 5: Starting sounds like a little bit of well here, I've not heard anyone mentioned player acquisition he's currently on.

00:40:27
Speaker 4: This feels like now it's starts. Ryan is starting to create a movement.

00:40:31
Speaker 6: Got three people, four people.

00:40:32
