<v Speaker 1>I'll come money into the Nontendo Podcast, your home of condemnation, speculation, <v Speaker 1>and appreciation of Nintendo. <v Speaker 2>I think I remember that that that was actually good. <v Speaker 2>I forgot that. Oh yeah, we're gonna sound proof the door. <v Speaker 1>I mean pass not even here today, is not going <v Speaker 1>to be jumping in by surprise. <v Speaker 2>I also need my phone back. Yeah you want to back? Yeah, <v Speaker 2>you bet that out. <v Speaker 1>Uh it is a Actually spring is sprung, I know <v Speaker 1>has sprung. The trees blooming again, little things on the trees, <v Speaker 1>the air, the weather's getting nice. And we're live on <v Speaker 1>a Wednesday, Wednesday, so everything is wrong. I'm going to <v Speaker 1>packed tomorrow, so I can't do the show. Everyone's here <v Speaker 1>today early, thank you for being here. And we have <v Speaker 1>a ridiculous amount of stuff to talk about, really ridiculous <v Speaker 1>stuff to talk about. <v Speaker 2>What is that now? What is happening? <v Speaker 3>Chiming in? <v Speaker 2>I was talking? I forgot he's still here. Uh whatever, <v Speaker 2>you got anything else to say? Hold on? <v Speaker 3>Finished your homework? Is it weird for flowers to talk yeseah? <v Speaker 3>Very weird. <v Speaker 1>Uh. We were joking about we left this here the <v Speaker 1>whole week and just the idea of someone walking past <v Speaker 1>the dock room at some point and then he'll hear <v Speaker 1>some voices homework. I can see you, I can see <v Speaker 1>you in the dark. Also, one of the first comments <v Speaker 1>I saw is no Pat today. Oh no, yeah, I know, <v Speaker 1>no warm glasses of water and no part next week? Right, <v Speaker 1>no Patt next week? Oh we're flying Pat solo over here? <v Speaker 1>Is he going to with you? No? No, apparently he's <v Speaker 1>going to Boston next week. Oh this is again he's <v Speaker 1>a little late on that. Yeah, but Justin Justin who <v Speaker 1>helps us behind the scenes too and set up a <v Speaker 1>lot of the show. He'll be at packs okay, so <v Speaker 1>well we'll have a good time though. <v Speaker 3>He's a convention guy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and a lot of people from screenway go to <v Speaker 1>my my manager who does my my sponsors and stuff <v Speaker 1>is going and Bob and I ride the train together, <v Speaker 1>so I'm definitely excited. Also where we're going to talk <v Speaker 1>about vicher again today, but I'm going to take them <v Speaker 1>on the train. <v Speaker 3>It's like a three hour train ride. No, it's like <v Speaker 3>six six yeahs. <v Speaker 2>I've done that trip a couple I feel like should <v Speaker 2>should be. <v Speaker 3>Faster without like traffic and anything. <v Speaker 1>I think so too, because driving it is six I <v Speaker 1>mean you have to like stop. I guess at times <v Speaker 1>you don't have to stop, but like you should, I think, <v Speaker 1>but you would think a train would be quicker than <v Speaker 1>a car. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, we need like Japanese trains, like those bullet trains. Yeah, trains. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>I don't, Yeah, I don't. I wish. <v Speaker 1>I wish trains were everywhere and more and more prevalent, <v Speaker 1>because you can't, like catch a train to Texas, can you. <v Speaker 3>I mean, we could have that, but America is just <v Speaker 3>you know, not trying to America is very technology car <v Speaker 3>car base. <v Speaker 1>There's not a lot of train routes that direction. Although <v Speaker 1>road tripping in America is it's pretty fun. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, if you takes. I mean, I've done, like Midwest <v Speaker 3>to West Coast. <v Speaker 1>I've done, I've done, I've done everything. You don't want <v Speaker 1>to hear it all, Yes, I do. My first one, <v Speaker 1>when I've ever came here, I drove with my friends <v Speaker 1>Scott Squatch from Florida to Texas, MO sho up to <v Speaker 1>New Orleans on the wing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I just good half the country. <v Speaker 1>I moved to Vancouver at one point, and then when <v Speaker 1>I moved to Texas. From there, I drove from Vancouver <v Speaker 1>to Texas, which was forty five hours. I packed my <v Speaker 1>whole life up in the car. That's crazy. And then <v Speaker 1>when we moved here, we drove from Texas. So I've <v Speaker 1>done the equivalent you driving, packed your. <v Speaker 3>Whole life in a car. You didn't take like a <v Speaker 3>U haul or truck. <v Speaker 1>The first time from Canada, No, I just I was <v Speaker 1>renting like a studio apartment thing and I didn't have <v Speaker 1>so I just threw my games and some tubs, put <v Speaker 1>them in the back and I to bring the games. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. So you're like technically Canadian first before American. <v Speaker 1>Well not really. I mean I'm an American citizen. I <v Speaker 1>was never a Canadian citizen, but you have the can <v Speaker 1>the before America. No, I lived in Seattle for nine <v Speaker 1>months before Canada. <v Speaker 3>Okay, it's like close enough to Canada. <v Speaker 1>I've also drove Texas to California, and I've drove Seattle <v Speaker 1>to California. I've been everywhere. Man, I want to do <v Speaker 1>it more. Your favorite spot favorite? Yeah, because the green, <v Speaker 1>h the weather, real time people, the yeah, the everything <v Speaker 1>about the food too. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I love it a little. <v Speaker 2>Should we talk about video, yes? <v Speaker 3>Video, sure? <v Speaker 1>Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I kind of like the road trips that was fun though. <v Speaker 3>I like that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and I mean I'm taking one tomorrow, which, by <v Speaker 1>the way, I have to be up really early, so <v Speaker 1>we can't do like a two hour thing. <v Speaker 2>So we got to try and fiddle this in somehow. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if you guys know it's not, but <v Speaker 1>we've been we've been giving you guys a little bit <v Speaker 1>too much content, if you know what I mean. <v Speaker 2>We've been talking on. <v Speaker 3>Spoiling a lot. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we do blab we do, we do. <v Speaker 1>Uh So, the main things on the dock if you're <v Speaker 1>looking at the title and the thumbnail are g t <v Speaker 1>A six Nate. The hate has spread some rumors about that, <v Speaker 1>and and I want to dive into the possibility of <v Speaker 1>it actually happening, Yeah, because I do have some thoughts <v Speaker 1>there now, and my thoughts have actually changed after playing <v Speaker 1>Resident Will Night. Marvel Rivals is pretty much soft confirmed <v Speaker 1>at this point. And tom Adaucci life was it today? Yeah, <v Speaker 1>they just dropped to the demo. <v Speaker 3>Which I think it was weird because it's like it's <v Speaker 3>overshadowing the DLC for Mario Bors Wonder, which is like <v Speaker 3>today in Australia. <v Speaker 1>Tomorrow the Bella Bella stuff. Yeah, have that in my <v Speaker 1>doc too. Yeah, I get I guess it is. <v Speaker 3>I mean, everybody's talking about my whole feet and like <v Speaker 3>these tweets are going viral, like, yeah, they're doing some <v Speaker 3>crazy there's no censorship. <v Speaker 2>Well that's part. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's part of the ships, just the ability of <v Speaker 3>the mees, like there's like a whole new. <v Speaker 1>Well, I was going to propose, do we want to <v Speaker 1>have one of you guys do that while we're live, Like, <v Speaker 1>load up the demo on your switch and I make <v Speaker 1>downloaded today. Do it on your switch because I'm going <v Speaker 1>to record my demo. Okay, well if if that's if <v Speaker 1>that we could try it. I will keep like doing <v Speaker 1>the show when we get there. And if you want <v Speaker 1>to like do mes in the background, yeah, yeah you <v Speaker 1>could try to. <v Speaker 3>Yeah my customization. Are you creative enough though, to like, <v Speaker 3>you know, I hope. <v Speaker 1>I mean I like to say I did a pretty <v Speaker 1>good job with this, so maybe I'm a little creative. <v Speaker 1>What do you do, gimbal that's not really that's not <v Speaker 1>the same thing I want for one trends, you know, <v Speaker 1>that's what it is. Some other things on the dock <v Speaker 1>that on in the title and thumb is uh the <v Speaker 1>switch is doomed and it's gonna it's over. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it was a good round. Just cut the switch <v Speaker 2>to down. If you follow any like gaming news channel <v Speaker 2>on Nintendo Channel. Yeah, it's a sad Mario and everything. <v Speaker 2>This one's this one's a lot, This one's like I <v Speaker 2>don't know how. <v Speaker 1>I don't want to say, I don't want to say <v Speaker 1>what I'm really thinking, but just I think what we <v Speaker 1>can bring it up. But somebody said that like Nintendo <v Speaker 1>are cutting production by thirty percent. I don't even know <v Speaker 1>if it's like confirmed yet until Nintendo actually confirms exactly. <v Speaker 1>This was like an industry inside a thing, so and <v Speaker 1>like it doesn't necessarily mean anything. It could It could <v Speaker 1>also mean Nintendo just overestimated. <v Speaker 3>You know, over made, which is and they're just sitting <v Speaker 3>on shelves. Not to get too much. <v Speaker 1>Into it too, but like I've seen like other people <v Speaker 1>including I think even like Kit from the Kid and <v Speaker 1>Christal podcasts. Yeah, like Nintendo really always sets their expectations <v Speaker 1>a way too famely high way too so to say <v Speaker 1>that a console is failing quot quot, I don't know <v Speaker 1>if that was the right word. They people are definitely <v Speaker 1>under selling, Like yeah, it's like the first step, like <v Speaker 1>you know saw that broke the countless back stuff like that. <v Speaker 1>I mean, we can get into it, but there's like <v Speaker 1>rising costs of production with the RAM and everything like that. <v Speaker 1>There's also Nintendo breaking records sales numbers with the switch <v Speaker 1>To a lot of early adopters bought in early exactly, <v Speaker 1>so maybe they don't like maybe it's slowing down now. <v Speaker 1>The people that are left are waiting for something like <v Speaker 1>Animal Crossing, but the sales are still like beating every <v Speaker 1>other content. Why do you need Animal Crossing if you <v Speaker 1>have Pucopia and Tomonaci life. <v Speaker 3>True. <v Speaker 1>That's the crazy thing too, is like it's beating every <v Speaker 1>other console in sales. It just they are lowering the <v Speaker 1>amount that them ma and people are like they're doomed. <v Speaker 1>Well then everyone else is doing Yeah, then we're all doomed. <v Speaker 1>Then no one stands a chance. And it's all objective. <v Speaker 3>I mean, like what are they like basing this off of, <v Speaker 3>Like the switch To is out selling the switch and <v Speaker 3>it's like nine months and months like yeah, so it's <v Speaker 3>like it's whatever, is the best product Nintendo has ever made, <v Speaker 3>and it's doing the best it's ever done in their <v Speaker 3>entire like. <v Speaker 1>Which is why this more than any is really highlighting <v Speaker 1>what Scott that was was talking about and the doom <v Speaker 1>and gloom of middle and just like one little piece <v Speaker 1>of news and every YouTuber has and they make a loaf. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I tried. <v Speaker 1>I made two thumbnails fit today and I ran them <v Speaker 1>by you guys and the Discord, And the second one <v Speaker 1>was I was trying to do like the over the <v Speaker 1>top exaggeration of what every YouTuber is doing right now, <v Speaker 1>the red lines, zig zagging down, sad Mario a broken switch. <v Speaker 1>I'm like, yeah, all fresh pulls on YouTube are that <v Speaker 1>just like? Yeah, I asked Discord. I was like Nintendo <v Speaker 1>discot on, like which one should I go with? The <v Speaker 1>happy positive GTA one or the trolling one? And everybody <v Speaker 1>was like, go positive, which I got to say, by <v Speaker 1>the way, I don't know if we if we can <v Speaker 1>take a second, let me pull it up for everyone <v Speaker 1>claiming doom and gloom around beat him. <v Speaker 2>Ups over here, which is not the case. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, by the way, yeah, based off of what your <v Speaker 1>most recent stuff, based off of my love for the <v Speaker 1>console and the fact that I dedicate my whole brand <v Speaker 1>in life to Nintendo. Look at the podcast so far. <v Speaker 1>If we can share this screen since we've come back. <v Speaker 1>It's nothing but smiles. Look at that. <v Speaker 3>He's happy every day and we try to find something <v Speaker 3>positive in everything theme podcast. <v Speaker 1>There's been so much doom and gloom. Look at us <v Speaker 1>for the last two months. Look smile. You even got <v Speaker 1>you know, the angry video gameer to smile. Well he's yeah, <v Speaker 1>well he was silent eye and I say he's happy. <v Speaker 2>He's look happy. Yeah, he looks merry and jolly and cheerful. <v Speaker 1>But absolutely like we've we've had so many positive things <v Speaker 1>on this part cast. And I think we talked about <v Speaker 1>this before. I remember, it's just the timing of bringing <v Speaker 1>it back with all this really great Nintendo news we're <v Speaker 1>getting and all this like info about games and how <v Speaker 1>it's a great time. Yeah, it's it's one of the <v Speaker 1>best times to talk about Nintendo and just gaming in general. <v Speaker 2>I honestly love it. <v Speaker 1>I think there's so much good and I don't think <v Speaker 1>there's any reason to focus on a negative like like <v Speaker 1>thirty percent drop. We haven't even pulled up the art. <v Speaker 1>We haven't even started the episode. No, Yeah, we're just <v Speaker 1>this is gonna be a long one that I can <v Speaker 1>feel it and I hate it. Anyway, let's get start. <v Speaker 1>Let's get started, and let's get started with a classic. <v Speaker 3>Who what have you been playing? What have you been playing? Now? <v Speaker 1>A real good question, Brenson, if you could, and if <v Speaker 1>you would, can you show you a beautiful face? If <v Speaker 1>it's working over your microphone? Never works too, by the way, <v Speaker 1>but say hi. <v Speaker 2>So now my MIC's on. <v Speaker 1>Hello, everybody say him now? I hoping they can't now Brenton, <v Speaker 1>my Starbucks is here, So I was wonder since Pat's <v Speaker 1>not here, could you cut throw to the wide and <v Speaker 1>possibly leave us on the wide and go get it? <v Speaker 3>Uh? <v Speaker 1>Which, by the way, I did buy you a drink <v Speaker 1>in that and then you got a little something special <v Speaker 1>for me? <v Speaker 2>Right, yeah? <v Speaker 3>I did. <v Speaker 1>I got a little something for Are they out front <v Speaker 1>right now? I think they just dropped it off? <v Speaker 3>Gotcha gets cold? <v Speaker 2>What's sit on the wide? <v Speaker 3>Well? <v Speaker 2>I got ice coffee? Better get it quick before it <v Speaker 2>starts melting? Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Melting? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>This temperature? <v Speaker 3>Sure? All right? <v Speaker 2>What do you guys want to start with? Do you <v Speaker 2>want to do? I kind of want to dive in <v Speaker 2>a g d A if that's okay? We didn't do <v Speaker 2>the games to stop right? <v Speaker 3>Uh? <v Speaker 2>You guys go first? You Yeah, I want to hear <v Speaker 2>what you've been playing. <v Speaker 3>I haven't played anything this week. I've been busy and <v Speaker 3>unfortunately just been away from my computer. But tonight I'll <v Speaker 3>be playing the Mario Wonder DLC and the Tom and <v Speaker 3>Dodgy like them, and I'll be. <v Speaker 2>You know, that's not what I want to hear. <v Speaker 3>Well, I mean, I'm sorry, man, but some of us, <v Speaker 3>you know, we're adults. <v Speaker 2>But do you know what I want to hear? <v Speaker 3>You want to hear that I've been playing? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, at least started. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I know. I mean, I'm gonna get to it. <v Speaker 3>But see, these are investments. You can't just like jump <v Speaker 3>into a game when you're not fully invested. <v Speaker 1>But also like, why why are you doing that for <v Speaker 1>your channel? <v Speaker 2>That's like that was the thing would be. It's still <v Speaker 2>kind of hot. <v Speaker 3>I saw. Okay, So I usually when it when it <v Speaker 3>comes to, like, you know, things that I'm not usually <v Speaker 3>familiar with doing. <v Speaker 1>Did you take your yes, you do? <v Speaker 3>They put it in a bag? Oh okay, I guess <v Speaker 3>that works. <v Speaker 2>It does. <v Speaker 3>Why not like a cup holder? <v Speaker 2>That's a good question. And there's a cup holder inside. <v Speaker 2>I got egg bites too. I don't know if I'll <v Speaker 2>eat them. Mm hmmm is that Knight's little pop? <v Speaker 1>There's your little I asked him what he wanted and <v Speaker 1>he was like, I want a cake. <v Speaker 4>Pop. <v Speaker 2>I got him a cake, so we got he was <v Speaker 2>so exciting. Oh my god, that's a frog. Look at that, buddy. <v Speaker 3>The spirit of the Mario Bros. Or the Super Mario <v Speaker 3>Galaxy movie. Yeah yeah, frog Luigi. That's awesome. What's what's <v Speaker 3>on his belly? I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Tadpoles, Yoshi, Tadpoles, tad pos Let's take a bite. Oh <v Speaker 1>my god, my phone keeps ringing. Scam likely that's a <v Speaker 1>second funk call I've had? <v Speaker 3>Sorry me. <v Speaker 2>What cake? Pop? <v Speaker 3>Man? <v Speaker 2>What have you been playing? Hmm? <v Speaker 1>So uh two nights ago, I'm stream. I finished fire <v Speaker 1>Red finally finally. Oh yeah, I did take a minute <v Speaker 1>because I was waiting for a certain Pokemon from my <v Speaker 1>friend Judge. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Mind, you get to it, bro. Yeah yeah, So I played. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I beat fire Red, I beat my Arrival, took a bit. <v Speaker 1>I had to spam a bunch of heels, so that <v Speaker 1>was it was kind of fun. Though I played that. <v Speaker 1>I did a little bit. I mean I played po <v Speaker 1>Copy every day, like I usually said, kind of time <v Speaker 1>a side how I used to do for Animal Crossing, <v Speaker 1>So like I do like the I've talked to the Pokemon, <v Speaker 1>I grab the items, you know, check out the daily <v Speaker 1>quests and all that too to do. So it's it's fun. <v Speaker 1>I finally, so finally just kind of moved on to <v Speaker 1>the beach because I've I've just been spending so much <v Speaker 1>time trying to make sure like both areas now, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I know, I know both areas. I especially like the <v Speaker 1>volcano one because all the ash everywhere behind it's got ash. <v Speaker 1>Really you think, so just you just got to blast <v Speaker 1>through the story and then come okay, yeah I will <v Speaker 1>have to do that. You can't pull a Kim here. <v Speaker 1>Kim's taking so long because of the just and she's <v Speaker 1>trying to do things that I'm like, you just got <v Speaker 1>to the end of the I'm all easier for you <v Speaker 1>to do that right now. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, that's true. <v Speaker 1>But the customization I'm seeing and also like, yeah, seeing <v Speaker 1>so many people like post what they're doing on like <v Speaker 1>Twitter and every social media account, like their designs, yeah, <v Speaker 1>their builds. <v Speaker 2>They're like almost like it reminds me of too. <v Speaker 1>Like when an Animal Crossing came out, like people were <v Speaker 1>showing off their islands and all the activity they have. <v Speaker 1>So it's cool to see that with Pokemon And already, <v Speaker 1>I know I'm gonna get too much into What Night <v Speaker 1>right now, but already with the Tomadacci like demo, people <v Speaker 1>are going crazy with the character. <v Speaker 2>Me designed exactly. I think that's gonna phrazing. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, I think it's going to be bigger hype <v Speaker 3>than Yeah for sure, really, uh yeah, for sure, it's <v Speaker 3>already I. <v Speaker 2>Think I think a lot of people are enjoying. <v Speaker 3>It's a real It's like a it's like a real <v Speaker 3>life simulator on an island. Like imagine the scenarios people <v Speaker 3>are going to be created with. My guy, they got <v Speaker 3>one word for you, Pokemon. No, no, okay, Pokemon had <v Speaker 3>its hype. I'm not taking away from the success of <v Speaker 3>Pocopy and how good you. <v Speaker 1>Kind of by saying that is a wild Nintendo set <v Speaker 1>the bar high and then they push it even higher. <v Speaker 3>That's just how they are coming to out. Your life <v Speaker 3>is not going to be bigger than We'll revisit this <v Speaker 3>discussion in a month, please, what do you mean What <v Speaker 3>do you mean by month? <v Speaker 2>What do you mean by bigger? <v Speaker 3>Bigger? <v Speaker 1>I mean I would say like popular like more says <v Speaker 1>maybe more so that's insane even that's not that's not. <v Speaker 3>Say you know, hold on, I need to see how <v Speaker 3>much toma. <v Speaker 1>I bet it's like maybe under a million three d <v Speaker 1>or I mean it's huge in Japan, it is. But <v Speaker 1>like think about we just talked about how pop six <v Speaker 1>point seven million. That is more than I thought. How <v Speaker 1>much did pocopy yourself so far? Three million in the <v Speaker 1>first four days. I haven't heard anything since then. Okay, well, <v Speaker 1>I mean we'll see. <v Speaker 3>Well that's going to be huge because of they took <v Speaker 3>what was already great about tom adachi life and they <v Speaker 3>just added to it, especially with the customization. I mean <v Speaker 3>you could literally choose your gender, your interest, you know, <v Speaker 3>like you can have so much customization when it comes <v Speaker 3>to the mes, like I've been seeing people create some <v Speaker 3>insane detailed means. I saw a share ability to so <v Speaker 3>you could like share your music, like I create a <v Speaker 3>really good look in me of you that looks a <v Speaker 3>lot like you, I could just share it with you. <v Speaker 2>Don't have to be good now I did. <v Speaker 1>Now remember like they did not say that, like you <v Speaker 1>could put these mes online, so there's no online connectivity, <v Speaker 1>and I wonder if they did that just because like <v Speaker 1>they know, if they give them full reign of creativity <v Speaker 1>over like design, you know, choice or even just like <v Speaker 1>like phrases or words, right, like they just kind of like, <v Speaker 1>all right, well, let them do all that. We just <v Speaker 1>don't want them to be online because you have no <v Speaker 1>idea what the heck they would do. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think they the me Verse and what's it <v Speaker 3>called on Nintendo. We you there was like that what <v Speaker 3>was it called again. <v Speaker 2>The plaza or the no, no, no, don't you're talking <v Speaker 2>about like like the. <v Speaker 3>Home Yeah, the hub area where people are like sharing <v Speaker 3>stuff with the Yeah, they learned from that because there <v Speaker 3>was just a lot of trolls and stuff on oh <v Speaker 3>me versus, especially me versus filled with trolls. <v Speaker 1>Since since we're already talking about this, I guess we'll <v Speaker 1>bleed into the fact that it doesn't have a filter. Yes, <v Speaker 1>it doesn't have sensitivity filter at all. So exactly if <v Speaker 1>you don't like seeing little swear words on your monitor, <v Speaker 1>look away now because I'm about to bring up the <v Speaker 1>F word. Oh, so here it come. There's no swear filter. <v Speaker 1>Diet coke, f wood, you know, I can kind of <v Speaker 1>see it. <v Speaker 3>But but they're like naming the mees or characters within <v Speaker 3>the island, like these slurs. <v Speaker 1>Which if you I mean, I feel like I shouldn't <v Speaker 1>have to say this. But if you don't know, Nintendo's <v Speaker 1>games usually block all of this. Yeah, like you know <v Speaker 1>you can't type this stuff. <v Speaker 3>It's going to be an update that's gonna sense. <v Speaker 1>This has to be a mistake, like the demo got <v Speaker 1>pushed without the filter on. <v Speaker 3>I don't. <v Speaker 2>I don't. <v Speaker 3>There's just or maybe Nintendo did it strategically to market <v Speaker 3>the game, because. <v Speaker 2>That would be great. <v Speaker 1>So, knowing what I know about Nintendo, and this could <v Speaker 1>be a kitt and Chris the question, maybe can I can? <v Speaker 1>I'm frint, hmm, I'll call them. I don't think we're <v Speaker 1>set up to call them. I could, I could call, <v Speaker 1>I could call. I mean, they are the marketing people. <v Speaker 1>You should let me message a message christer and see <v Speaker 1>if I can call it quickly. <v Speaker 2>And I'll ask her that question. <v Speaker 1>So the question I want to ask her is, uh, <v Speaker 1>do you think it's possible that it was a marketing <v Speaker 1>ploy and not have the thing? <v Speaker 3>I think? So it's what I thought when I saw them, <v Speaker 3>because I'm like everybody's gonna be talking about it, and <v Speaker 3>everybody's gonna pushing the most outland age like m m <v Speaker 3>combination of words exactly, see how far they could push it, <v Speaker 3>and then like the clips online are just going crazy viral. <v Speaker 3>M hmm. <v Speaker 2>I texted, we'll see. That's fine. I guess we'll find out. <v Speaker 2>We'll see. <v Speaker 1>She's usually she usually replies pretty quickly if she's not busy, <v Speaker 1>So we'll see. <v Speaker 2>I guess we'll find out. <v Speaker 3>That fun. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what we've been playing. That's what we've been playing. <v Speaker 1>I actually have don't show it yet, but I have another. <v Speaker 1>I have another example of uh of no filter? <v Speaker 2>Wait do I? Oh no, I didn't put it in here? <v Speaker 2>Oh no, I did, I did? <v Speaker 3>I did. <v Speaker 1>This one's a good one. This one's very rude. Look away, <v Speaker 1>young children. Oh this one's about I know what it is? <v Speaker 1>Something you like to have a chat. Yeah, I'm not <v Speaker 1>even saying it exactly. A brain has something about it. <v Speaker 1>This can't be a ninety of the internet. That's so fun, <v Speaker 1>Oh man, I think, and you have a very good point, <v Speaker 1>because if it is just oh what never mind? <v Speaker 3>Tell were live, tell more live? She knows. <v Speaker 2>Oh hello, hey Christa, how are you how are you doing. <v Speaker 2>I'm good. Yes, you sound so happy and cheerful. <v Speaker 3>I love it. <v Speaker 2>I miss you. I'm glad to hear from you. I'm <v Speaker 2>always cheerful to hear from you. <v Speaker 3>I miss you too. <v Speaker 4>What's wrong? <v Speaker 1>So I have a question. Uh, my podcast co host <v Speaker 1>Sully had a theory. So all of this Tomadaci life. <v Speaker 1>Have you seen the no filter stuff going around? <v Speaker 4>Yes? I have, yes, yes. <v Speaker 1>Now I want your thoughts on that. But I was wondering, <v Speaker 1>do you think it's a marketing ploy that Nintendo left <v Speaker 1>the filter off because this is blowing up right now <v Speaker 1>and then they'll like patch it in later. <v Speaker 2>No, I didn't know. Okay, yeah, this is. <v Speaker 4>Like that same thing where everyone's like, oh the wee <v Speaker 4>shortages were just a marketing ploy, or like, let's you <v Speaker 4>know that's purposefully leak stuff as a marketing point. <v Speaker 2>No, that's not something that they do. <v Speaker 4>This was one hundred percent something that they were like, yeah, <v Speaker 4>there is no way that this could go wrong. Notion <v Speaker 4>Intomanaci life. <v Speaker 2>People would behave. <v Speaker 4>But of course people would never behave you really everybody <v Speaker 4>owns the thing. <v Speaker 2>So I'm with you one hundred percent on all of it. <v Speaker 1>But you really think that Nintendo thought people would behave <v Speaker 1>after they're like thirty years of game development, people would <v Speaker 1>behave people were putting people were putting ass into arcade <v Speaker 1>machines back in the nineties. <v Speaker 4>Very true, Yes, and they did. They didn't have to <v Speaker 4>contend with people drawing certain things in the me verse, <v Speaker 4>which was a fun conversation. <v Speaker 2>That I had with the deaf team. <v Speaker 4>But yeah, I mean they were I think their internal <v Speaker 4>monologue was like, you know, we don't have any social <v Speaker 4>sharing sharing functionality in this thing, Like everything will be <v Speaker 4>kind of contained to everyone's a little like personal TOMAATCI <v Speaker 4>Life Islands. But of course we all own this thing <v Speaker 4>called a phone, yeah, photos, and can share them anywhere <v Speaker 4>anytime we want. <v Speaker 1>So that was a pretty a dumb thing. <v Speaker 2>On their part. So you think this is going to <v Speaker 2>get patched out by by release? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 2>Actually, I actually don't know about that. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I was trying to decide too, because if they've <v Speaker 1>already made the choice, why go back? Yeah, and it's <v Speaker 1>kind of awesome ironics. <v Speaker 4>Then not ironic that they censor dispatch. <v Speaker 3>But oh that's a good I even think about it. Well, <v Speaker 3>because it's not visual. <v Speaker 1>Have you last year? <v Speaker 2>Well, yeah, I mean, yeah, I guess it's not visual, right. <v Speaker 1>But then but then it also struck me weird that <v Speaker 1>they even did that with the dispatch. But they have <v Speaker 1>all the hand tie games on the shelves, that's right, <v Speaker 1>so it's like the whole other thing. <v Speaker 4>But yeah, they just there's no consistency with them though, <v Speaker 4>with this kind of stuff. That's why I'm like kind <v Speaker 4>of waftling around like whether or not they'll patch it out. <v Speaker 4>It's like they don't seem to have a standard, they <v Speaker 4>don't seem to have any process behind it. It's just <v Speaker 4>like whatever the whim of the day is and whatever <v Speaker 4>they convince themselves is what they believe in the moment. <v Speaker 2>So I kind I kind of feel like that's what's. <v Speaker 4>Happening right now. <v Speaker 1>That's that sounds like Nintendo, doesn't it though. Yeah, thanks <v Speaker 1>so much, Christa. I appreciate you anytime. <v Speaker 4>Have a good rest of your podcast. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, thanks, I'll talk to you soon and you should <v Speaker 1>you show you guys have to come back soon. <v Speaker 4>I would love to anytime. <v Speaker 1>Okay, bye, Okay. I love them so much. <v Speaker 2>That's awesome. <v Speaker 1>Meeting them through this show is still I think my <v Speaker 1>favorite thing. Like I've done so much with this show. <v Speaker 1>I met so many people, but meeting them and becoming <v Speaker 1>friends with them, Like it's. <v Speaker 3>So they don't work for Nintendo anymore. <v Speaker 2>Not anymore? <v Speaker 1>No, And I know I've told you this before or <v Speaker 1>did they like get let Go, I'm call back. Well <v Speaker 1>here's the funny thing. Here's the funny thing about that. <v Speaker 1>Their first episode of their podcast is called I think <v Speaker 1>it's called Why We Left Nintendo. <v Speaker 3>So they left and they have a podcast called the <v Speaker 3>Nintendo Podcast. <v Speaker 2>Oh no, it's the reason why primarily Nintendo. Well, it's <v Speaker 2>it's kind of they were. <v Speaker 1>They were Nintendo industry insiders for a long time. I <v Speaker 1>mean they they She did a lot of the PR <v Speaker 1>and marketing and they also worked on some of the <v Speaker 1>games in some like marketing tech context. <v Speaker 3>I'm not too familiar with their content. <v Speaker 1>They were pretty they were deep in there. And when <v Speaker 1>when Nintendo got Twitter, crist was the one that was <v Speaker 1>on it. Also, Christa Ran took over Golden at some <v Speaker 1>point and christ was the one that fired me. <v Speaker 3>I wonder if she fired me too. I gotta ask <v Speaker 3>you that, like when. <v Speaker 1>She comes back on let's see. But that's why I <v Speaker 1>love it, That's why I love the story, the friendship. <v Speaker 1>It's just it's it's there's a lot of emotion. It's <v Speaker 1>so full circle. Yeah, it's so full circle. All right, <v Speaker 1>where were we? But I don't think what she was saying, <v Speaker 1>I don't necessarily agree. <v Speaker 3>I think Nintendo knew what they were doing, because that's <v Speaker 3>just how the internet is. <v Speaker 4>Bro. <v Speaker 3>People are trolls. <v Speaker 1>They have Nintendo really be like, oh yeah, they'll be okay. <v Speaker 1>It does seem like Nintendo wouldn't know, but Nintendo also <v Speaker 1>they just they don't get it. Sometimes they do really <v Speaker 1>weird things. They don't they don't understand that it's gonna <v Speaker 1>get patched. Words I wouldn't. I wouldn't be surprised either way. <v Speaker 1>It's gonna get patched, and then you guys are gonna <v Speaker 1>be like solely was right if if it was a mistake, <v Speaker 1>it'll get patched. If it wasn't a mistake, they this <v Speaker 1>is what they just market was always I know, I know, <v Speaker 1>I'll tell you why I can't. I honestly, before I <v Speaker 1>even talk to Christa, I didn't think it was a <v Speaker 1>marketing ploy because Nintendo just doesn't. <v Speaker 3>They don't. <v Speaker 1>They don't think like that. They don't do things like that. <v Speaker 1>They just they're not craft. <v Speaker 3>I mean, I don't know. <v Speaker 2>We'll see. <v Speaker 1>I mean, we have a month to figure it out <v Speaker 1>until we'll see, we'll see those numbers, we'll see the release. <v Speaker 1>They're also so strict about being family friendly and like <v Speaker 1>on brand that like you. <v Speaker 3>Don't think they would have thought of these things. I mean, <v Speaker 3>you can't even like you think that. <v Speaker 1>But that's what I'm saying about the marketing ploy is <v Speaker 1>like they wouldn't intentionally be like I hope somebody makes <v Speaker 1>a joke about jumking off and. <v Speaker 3>Like if you go to if you're like in zeldaf, <v Speaker 3>you try to like name yourself something inappropriate, it just <v Speaker 3>won't let you, I know. And Pokemon same thing. So <v Speaker 3>it's just like, actually. <v Speaker 2>Well Pokemon, you could do like as but or. <v Speaker 3>Something exactly, but like you can't do like oh yeah. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, well you tried. <v Speaker 3>Which one specifically. I mean, I'm not saying I did <v Speaker 3>or didn't. Sounds like you did try for yourself. Oh <v Speaker 3>my god, this keeps it and it just sneezed. Did <v Speaker 3>you hear that? <v Speaker 1>I keep looking because my phone's next your I'm like, <v Speaker 1>oh no, my phone's playing, so I gotta move my <v Speaker 1>I gotta move something. <v Speaker 2>I'm gonna move him over here. <v Speaker 3>All right. <v Speaker 1>That we I think we're out of what we've been well, <v Speaker 1>I didn't talk about what I've been playing. <v Speaker 2>Can I bring up my switch for that? And then <v Speaker 2>we're going to dive into g T A. <v Speaker 1>And I actually think I have some bad news because <v Speaker 1>I think I got clickbaited. <v Speaker 3>You got about the g T A. <v Speaker 1>I don't know, so I didn't put the g t <v Speaker 1>A thing in my dock. And then while you were <v Speaker 1>doing yours, I kind of was scrambling and I typed <v Speaker 1>it and the first thing that came up was g <v Speaker 1>tare debunked for so I we're gonna have to have <v Speaker 1>a look at it. Yea, I didn't see that before. <v Speaker 1>I promise, I promised. I thought Nate the Hate told <v Speaker 1>me something. All right, I'm going to should we should <v Speaker 1>call Nate the Hate now? <v Speaker 3>No, I don't. <v Speaker 1>I don't have his number like that. No yet, I <v Speaker 1>have Kit and Krista. I have Sting Crystal like a <v Speaker 1>cold sting and Crystal like a couple. <v Speaker 2>No, no, why did you shout disappointed? <v Speaker 3>I know I was just asking. I'm curious, but you <v Speaker 3>were I thought they were so No, no, no, I <v Speaker 3>just it came out like that. <v Speaker 2>No, you're good, You're good. <v Speaker 3>I was just curious. <v Speaker 1>Listen, guy, it's one of those days. I don't know <v Speaker 1>what's happening. So I am doing an e Shop video. <v Speaker 1>So I've actually been playing too much for you. Oh okay, <v Speaker 1>actually funny enough. Even though it says playing Pokopea, I <v Speaker 1>haven't really touched it. I honestly, I haven't really touched <v Speaker 1>it since I started my review. I'm kind of sad <v Speaker 1>I've done a little bit, but I have no not <v Speaker 1>at all. I just had to work, like you said, <v Speaker 1>I had to be an adult a little bit. And <v Speaker 1>my version of an adult is I've been playing Keena <v Speaker 1>or Kenna, which I can't show you this because I <v Speaker 1>believe it's embargo when it comes out in a couple <v Speaker 1>of days. But gorgeous on this switch. Are you doing <v Speaker 1>it for a review? Well, yeah, this is I'm doing <v Speaker 1>a ten games worth buying me a core series stable <v Speaker 1>for my channel lean. <v Speaker 3>So you actually do play all the games that you <v Speaker 3>reviewed shop videos. <v Speaker 2>Nice, I respect, that's kind of the whole thing. I don't. <v Speaker 1>So I've said this before, but I don't finish every game. <v Speaker 1>You know, ten to finish ten, especially when some of <v Speaker 1>them are like very long, that's a bit much of <v Speaker 1>an undertaking. So I play them to the point where <v Speaker 1>I feel I've gotten a money's worth, or I've gotten <v Speaker 1>the gist of it, or I can recommend it, or <v Speaker 1>I can talk about it, which typically is at minimum <v Speaker 1>like three four hours into a game, depending on the <v Speaker 1>game going for it too. Like Blueprints, I got like <v Speaker 1>an hour in and I was like, this is going <v Speaker 1>in the video hands down, not like no question, And <v Speaker 1>I ended up playing that for three hours last night. <v Speaker 1>This game is awesome. Yeah, we saw this recently, right, Yes, <v Speaker 1>what I did. What I didn't know about it is <v Speaker 1>it's a roguelike and it's kind of cool. I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>give you a quick summary. Your players. This kid who <v Speaker 1>gets in a giant manner in an inheritance. But the <v Speaker 1>only stipulation is you have to find room forty six <v Speaker 1>and apparently no one's found it before, and you're on <v Speaker 1>a timeline to try and find it. And you walk <v Speaker 1>in and you're given three doors, and every time you <v Speaker 1>open the door there's a different room behind it, and <v Speaker 1>you draft what room you have a selection of three, <v Speaker 1>and that's like the roguelike element, and then in each <v Speaker 1>room we'll have different things, different going, different abilities, different items, <v Speaker 1>but also different doorways to different areas, and it kind <v Speaker 1>of builds like a grid and you can end up <v Speaker 1>locking yourself out and then you have to leave. And <v Speaker 1>whenever you either lock yourself out and run out of <v Speaker 1>places to open doors or run out of energy, you <v Speaker 1>have to sleep, and when you sleep, it resets everything. Everything, <v Speaker 1>the whole manner resets. Yeah, it's honestly, it's so like <v Speaker 1>is it like also reset? <v Speaker 3>Like you can't redo the same like combination of rooms <v Speaker 3>you've done. <v Speaker 1>Before, Well you get random rooms, so that'd be really <v Speaker 1>hard to do. And then like on one run I <v Speaker 1>got the car keys and on another one I found <v Speaker 1>the car but I didn't have the car keys. <v Speaker 3>Wow. <v Speaker 1>So like yeah, it's trying to piece it all together, <v Speaker 1>but it's done in a really cool way where like <v Speaker 1>you solve something and you're like, oh, like at one point, <v Speaker 1>I was trying to like read something on this piece <v Speaker 1>of paper but I couldn't, and then I found a <v Speaker 1>magnifying glass and then I read it and I was like, oh, <v Speaker 1>that explained so much. So anyway, it's really cool. Mio <v Speaker 1>is like ARII or Hollow Night, and that's gorgeous, really fun. <v Speaker 1>Mini Shoot is a twin stick shooter Zelder Oh, which <v Speaker 1>is like a two d's Zelder. These two aren't going <v Speaker 1>in the review. That's not going in the review. But <v Speaker 1>by the way, I started playing Fatal Frame two remake, <v Speaker 1>and if you're off the high of Resident Evil and <v Speaker 1>you want something very similar, this is the one. I've <v Speaker 1>never played a Fatal Frame. This is awesome. Wow, this <v Speaker 1>is this is giving me like the Resident Evil vibes <v Speaker 1>I just played. It's also gorgeous, It's really good. It's <v Speaker 1>like really nice looking and you fight with a camera. <v Speaker 1>I say, load up one, but unfortunately, you know, but <v Speaker 1>I think the remake is on here. And then my <v Speaker 1>friends and I played the Dead Zone Rogue. That was <v Speaker 1>a first person rogue. Like, so, yeah, all of these <v Speaker 1>are going in my last week through the week. Impressive. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, out of all of them, what was your favorite experience? Blueprints? <v Speaker 1>Blueprints is the most memorable and the most I'm looking <v Speaker 1>at these and I can't wait to dive back into Kenna. <v Speaker 1>I've played before, but visually and performance wise, it's the <v Speaker 1>most impressive thing I've seen other than Resident Evil Like <v Speaker 1>it's there's so much foliage, there's it's dense. I wish <v Speaker 1>I could show you, but I don't want to get <v Speaker 1>in trouble. It's it's gorgeous. I was like stopping and <v Speaker 1>staring and going whoa. So that really impressed me. But yeah, <v Speaker 1>I think those for sure nice. <v Speaker 3>What is like the one you would recommend if you <v Speaker 3>had to recommend just one. <v Speaker 2>Of them, Well, I mean I'm recommending. <v Speaker 1>Probably Blueprints. Honestly, I mean that was like that was <v Speaker 1>almost like game of the year. I think it won <v Speaker 1>like India the Year last year. I mean honest, with <v Speaker 1>the arts song that goes crazy, Yeah, it's all right, <v Speaker 1>let's get rid of that and let's actually dive into topics. <v Speaker 4>Sorry. <v Speaker 1>So a few days ago now we saw and we <v Speaker 1>shared it in discord. It was like six rumored to <v Speaker 1>becoming the Switch to. As soon as I saw that, <v Speaker 1>I was like, that's probably gonna be the topic of <v Speaker 1>the episode because after playing Resident Evil nine and seeing <v Speaker 1>what the Switch Too could do, and my main takeaway <v Speaker 1>and my beat him Up's video takeaway being how I've <v Speaker 1>now realized the switch to magic of taking like this <v Speaker 1>brand new game like Resident Evil nine, which by industry <v Speaker 1>standards is one of the best looking and like technically <v Speaker 1>impressive game and making it five forty p or whatever <v Speaker 1>it is and then artificially blowing it up and that <v Speaker 1>we have it on switch Too. Up until then, people <v Speaker 1>ask me a lot like GDA six switch To, and <v Speaker 1>I've always been like, there's no shot, Like there's no shot. <v Speaker 1>You can look at that trailer and know that there's <v Speaker 1>no shot, and also like I want that game to <v Speaker 1>be so good that it can't fit. <v Speaker 2>So it's on the highest standard of consoles. <v Speaker 1>But now I'm like, I didn't understand how it could <v Speaker 1>be possible. Now I understand how it could theoretically be <v Speaker 1>possible by you know, making a version of this game <v Speaker 1>for switch To where it is optimized, where it does <v Speaker 1>remove some stuff, right, running it at a lower resolution, <v Speaker 1>blowing it up to whatever ten ADP or even seven <v Speaker 1>twenty like whatever, could it? <v Speaker 2>Could it come to? <v Speaker 1>Switch Someone else pointed out that if it is going <v Speaker 1>to be on the Series S, which I believe GTA <v Speaker 1>six is promised to be on the current generations of consoles, <v Speaker 1>which would include Series S, and the switch To outperforms <v Speaker 1>the Series S, I mean theoretically speaking, Is it possible, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean based on it coming to series s yes. <v Speaker 1>So the question just is are they going to do <v Speaker 1>it because Rockstar has a real big hit or miss <v Speaker 1>ratio with the Switch. They've put Red Dead one on it. <v Speaker 1>They even recently optimized it for switch to with four <v Speaker 1>K and sixty fps and smooth visuals. I mean, we <v Speaker 1>have El Noir on the system. I'm trying to think, <v Speaker 1>what are the Rockstar games we have that might be it. <v Speaker 1>Unless I'm forgetting something, feel free to look it up. <v Speaker 1>But obviously we haven't had a GTA. GTA five has <v Speaker 1>been missing this whole time, which feels like a massive <v Speaker 1>I don't know why that's, in my face, a massive. <v Speaker 1>It's always felt like a massive blunder to me. GDA <v Speaker 1>five releasing on the switch one like at the start <v Speaker 1>would have done numbers like numbers to the generation, and <v Speaker 1>then you have the online where it's micro transactions and <v Speaker 1>people are playing it on the I never understood why <v Speaker 1>that game never came. It makes no sense to me. <v Speaker 1>So skipping it completely and then doing GTA six it <v Speaker 1>just feels like they have some weird aversion with putting <v Speaker 1>GTA on the Switch, and I don't know why they release, <v Speaker 1>say the trilogy is the other one that's on there. <v Speaker 1>You're right, there was a trilogy that that improves things. <v Speaker 1>I forgot about. <v Speaker 3>That three Vice City in San Andreas. Yeah, we could <v Speaker 3>maybe down the road release it, like I don't think <v Speaker 3>it'll be day maybe both, Like, yeah, it would probably <v Speaker 3>be like it definitely wouldn't be like launch. It wouldn't <v Speaker 3>be like a launch title. <v Speaker 1>Wait for a type of thing like this is a <v Speaker 1>side thing but five remake where it's just like the <v Speaker 1>same game, but they improved the visuals to look closer <v Speaker 1>to six and put that on switch. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that'd be cool. <v Speaker 3>Five was really good because people still, like all the <v Speaker 3>GTAs have like insanely high replay value. Yes, so it's <v Speaker 3>like it doesn't matter like if it's like coming out <v Speaker 3>even ten years after its release on the site, which <v Speaker 3>people are just still going to buy and play it. <v Speaker 1>I feel like they obviously missed the boat on the <v Speaker 1>online GDA five micro transactions and everything. I mean, people <v Speaker 1>will still role playing that game now, Like yeah, I <v Speaker 1>just don't get why that is such a big blunder. Anyway, <v Speaker 1>So that's my personal thoughts. Now I'm going to read <v Speaker 1>this article because the first thing I pulled up when <v Speaker 1>I was like, let's find the Nate that, I don't <v Speaker 1>even know what it was. I just knew Nate the <v Speaker 1>Hate was involved, and I was like, oh, that gives <v Speaker 1>it a bit more. We were on Nate the Hate <v Speaker 1>train recently, so I googled it today while you were <v Speaker 1>doing your your thing, and the first thing I saw <v Speaker 1>is the GTA six two room and just fell apart. <v Speaker 2>So I'm gonna do it justice. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna read this because I think it summarizes as <v Speaker 1>well where the rumor came from, and I apologize if <v Speaker 1>I've kind of led us astray here. The switch to <v Speaker 1>rumor fell apart after Kiwi Talks clarified he never said <v Speaker 1>anything about GTA six was coming to Nintendo's console at launch. <v Speaker 1>He was relaying a source claim he openly doubted for <v Speaker 1>months and he still does. So what I'm guessing is <v Speaker 1>whatever it was that was said, I'll keep reading, whether <v Speaker 1>it was Nate the Hate or WAT it was referencing <v Speaker 1>this Key We Talks fella, and Key We Talks has <v Speaker 1>now said no, yeah. <v Speaker 2>Which already doubtful about it, yeah. <v Speaker 1>Which shuts down whatever happened in the last week that <v Speaker 1>I based the entire title in thumbnail around. Yeah, but <v Speaker 1>we're gonna keep reading. There is particular there is a <v Speaker 1>particular kind of chaos that only happens when the inside <v Speaker 1>of ecosystem starts eating itself, And this week brought a <v Speaker 1>textbook example. Reese Key we Talks Riley, a YouTuber knowing <v Speaker 1>for interviewing Rockstar Games developers, have been forced to publicly <v Speaker 1>clarified that he never claimed GD six is coming to <v Speaker 1>switch to a launch. What he said and what dozens <v Speaker 1>of outlets ran with as if he had made the <v Speaker 1>claim himself, is that one of his sources, who works <v Speaker 1>at Rockster India Studios, believes the game will arrive on <v Speaker 1>switch to day date of the PlayStation five and Xbox <v Speaker 1>Series x s Kiwi Talks explained in a tweet which <v Speaker 1>definitely should have been posted sooner. We're gonna blame him <v Speaker 1>for not posting that. So you know that from the <v Speaker 1>beginning he thought the source was wrong. Okay. Back in <v Speaker 1>November twenty twenty five, when leakas Nash Wheel and Nate <v Speaker 1>the Hate first reported that Rockster had tested GD six <v Speaker 1>on switch to hardware, Kiwi pushed back immediately dev's test <v Speaker 1>putting games on hardware all the time, don't take it <v Speaker 1>as confirmation that it's happening. Okay, now I'm piecing things <v Speaker 1>together because that is what I heard. I heard that <v Speaker 1>Nate said that Rockstar was testing GTA six on the hardware. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>and I think that's where from the Nate side this <v Speaker 1>came from. And Kiwi isn't confirming or denying that that happened. <v Speaker 1>He's saying that that people test things on hardware all <v Speaker 1>the time, So them just testing it doesn't mean anything exact. However, <v Speaker 1>if I could put my little conspiracy cap on for <v Speaker 1>a second, why were they testing it? <v Speaker 3>Mm hmm, Maybe just like to see like how well <v Speaker 3>it's optimized on different hardwores. <v Speaker 1>Well, right, but like there's obviously that to see like <v Speaker 1>that does mean as a point, that does mean that <v Speaker 1>Rockstar has a dev kit for switch To which a <v Speaker 1>lot of people don't have, which isn't a huge surprise. <v Speaker 3>I mean, they got other games, but. <v Speaker 1>The thing is Nintendo only gives Nintendo is being very <v Speaker 1>strict with deaf kits. I was actually having a talk <v Speaker 1>with someone about this a week ago, and I don't <v Speaker 1>even know if I'm allowed to say this and they <v Speaker 1>watch the show. So I'm gonna work this really carefully. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo is coming up with a solution for the fact <v Speaker 1>that they don't want to give dev kits to people, <v Speaker 1>and it's something that involves the Switch one dev kit <v Speaker 1>that helps people optimized Switch one games for Switch two. <v Speaker 1>So it's kind of like a stepping stone. <v Speaker 2>I see. Okay, that's all I'm gonna say about that. <v Speaker 1>So that's the lengths they're going to to not give <v Speaker 1>people a switch to deaf kid, They're like, are you <v Speaker 1>making a switch to game? <v Speaker 2>No, then you don't need it. That's essentially where they're at. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, so I mean Rockstar, they could be making Red <v Speaker 1>Dead two for switch to. That could be a reason <v Speaker 1>they have a dev kit. I would be surprised if <v Speaker 1>Rockstar didn't get one just because of their Rockstar but and. <v Speaker 3>Again the rock Star, so it wouldn't be like it's <v Speaker 3>like kind of expected that they. <v Speaker 1>Would have one. That's what I'm saying. It could just <v Speaker 1>be expected because they like the largest gaming company. But <v Speaker 1>also you can't, I think you have to apply for <v Speaker 1>them and send them out. So Rockstar would have had <v Speaker 1>to have applied and they got approved. But why did <v Speaker 1>they want one? And again, it could be Red Dead two, <v Speaker 1>which I makes perfect sense. They've already put Red Dead <v Speaker 1>one on the console. Red Dead two runs on handheld PCs. <v Speaker 1>We've seen it run on things for the last like <v Speaker 1>four or five years, and the switch to is more <v Speaker 1>powerful than handheld PCs that run Red Dead two, right, <v Speaker 1>I mean the Steam deck runs Red Dead two. So <v Speaker 1>and it's and the Steam Deck doesn't do the whole <v Speaker 1>like crazy magic upscaling thing that Nintendo's doing, so you <v Speaker 1>can make it look way nicer on switch To. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>so they they have one, and I believe that they've <v Speaker 1>tested GTA six on it. I don't know what that <v Speaker 1>means because we didn't get GTA five. Yeah, So I <v Speaker 1>can't be I can't be like, well, obviously we're going <v Speaker 1>to get it, yeah, because why didn't we get GTA five. <v Speaker 3>But again, it could just very well be that they're <v Speaker 3>testing it to just push the limits, like the limits <v Speaker 3>of different hardware, to see like how well their game <v Speaker 3>is optimized on just different hardware. <v Speaker 1>That is true, but the only reason to do it <v Speaker 1>on a switch console would be. <v Speaker 3>And it could be like evential future collaboration with Nintendo. <v Speaker 3>Maybe releasing five. Sure, essentially six. I mean that's what <v Speaker 3>Kiwi is saying. He's essentially saying they tested on things <v Speaker 3>all the time. It doesn't it doesn't mean anything to <v Speaker 3>your point. But you know what I'm saying is, if <v Speaker 3>I was rock Star tested it it worked. <v Speaker 2>Why not? <v Speaker 3>I mean, like, well, so who do you think makes <v Speaker 3>the final say about putt it's rock Star? Like they'll <v Speaker 3>come Tonintendo say you want to put it on switch <v Speaker 3>to and Nintendo would most likely say. <v Speaker 1>Yes, yeah, gd F I have not being on switch <v Speaker 1>to is Rockstar's fault. I see they I mean, I'm <v Speaker 1>throwing that out there, is my opinion. But I mean, <v Speaker 1>as we said the other the other three GTA, well <v Speaker 1>three more other GTAs are on there. <v Speaker 2>Red Dead is on there. Red Dead. <v Speaker 3>They're kind of like curious, like why they decided to <v Speaker 3>do the. <v Speaker 1>Oh, the trilogy that is, like, well the trilogy I <v Speaker 1>know was there was a third company they had outsourced <v Speaker 1>to it, and they released it everywhere and on launch <v Speaker 1>it was horrible, and then rock Star I think took <v Speaker 1>over and fixed it. <v Speaker 2>They stepped in. <v Speaker 3>They maybe got like an exclusive deal with Microsoft and <v Speaker 3>Sony to keep them only on their consoles. Because like <v Speaker 3>that's like direct competition down tendo. Like, no, we would <v Speaker 3>know about a deal like that. That would be that <v Speaker 3>would be public info Microsoft. And also there'd be no <v Speaker 3>like joint deal. They wouldn't be like an Xbox PlayStation deal. <v Speaker 3>They would be a PlayStation deal, or they'd be an <v Speaker 3>ex books deal. Yep, yeah, I really I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I've never understood the GTA thing. I've never understood it. <v Speaker 1>It's just one of those games that I mean, even <v Speaker 1>like uh full, I feel like Fallout four took too <v Speaker 1>long to come to switch. <v Speaker 2>I feel like that should have been a switch one. <v Speaker 1>Game, year one release type of thing, because if you <v Speaker 1>already put uh what Elder scrolls on there, why not? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, like high hitting games. <v Speaker 1>I mean, Fallout was PlayStation four, so maybe they just <v Speaker 1>felt like they couldn't get the performance out of it. <v Speaker 2>But I don't know. <v Speaker 5>Forty five minutes the oh oh forty five what we've <v Speaker 5>only just started just begun. I can't I can't handle <v Speaker 5>that information you just gave me. Um okay, let me <v Speaker 5>try and wrap this up then I'll finish reading what <v Speaker 5>I was reading here. Fast forward twenty six Key we <v Speaker 5>revealed that one of his sources, someone who described got <v Speaker 5>in various things right in the past, has been insisting <v Speaker 5>for months that GTD on a second, let me read <v Speaker 5>that again. Fash forward to March twenty twenty six, Kiwi <v Speaker 5>revealed that one of his sources, someone he described as <v Speaker 5>having gotten various things right in the past, has been <v Speaker 5>insisting for months that GTA six will arrive on switch <v Speaker 5>to at launch. Kiwi response was not to amplify the claim, <v Speaker 5>but to bet against it. <v Speaker 1>He said a deadline. If Rockster announces the switch to <v Speaker 1>version before May, his source wins a lavish dinner. If <v Speaker 1>they do not, Kiwi wins. Okay, this is very confusing. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how debunked this is because and I'm <v Speaker 1>not trying to like like real like over exaggerate here, <v Speaker 1>but it really seems like everybody is telling Kiwi this <v Speaker 1>is happening, and Kiwi's. <v Speaker 2>Like, I know, I doubt it. <v Speaker 1>Like Kiwi's insider who has gotten things right in the past, <v Speaker 1>and his insider at Rockstar India are like, and Nate's <v Speaker 1>like they're testing it, and He's just like, nah, id, <v Speaker 1>I'm not feeling it. I'm not vibing with it. So <v Speaker 1>I don't really know what to make of it. I <v Speaker 1>I what if that, you know, how would be get <v Speaker 1>so many GTA delays? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>What if they're trying to line up day one switch <v Speaker 1>and it's been kind of like tricky and like the <v Speaker 1>switch thing is kind of pushing everything. <v Speaker 3>I don't think that would be the reason for the delays. <v Speaker 1>No, they probably just like stagger release and delay the <v Speaker 1>switch like everybody does. They release everywhere else and then <v Speaker 1>switch and wait a couple of a year or so before. <v Speaker 1>But they could also be just wanting to make a <v Speaker 1>big like day one everywhere GTA six huge, like record <v Speaker 1>breaking numbers, you know. <v Speaker 2>I think once that. <v Speaker 3>I wonder how many it's gonna sell, Like, oh my <v Speaker 3>gosh weekend. <v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, like once that second trailer hits, <v Speaker 1>like the launch date trailer, like. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, two digit millions once once the hype starts building <v Speaker 2>up like it is coming like get ready. <v Speaker 1>I wouldn't even mind doing a prediction right now in <v Speaker 1>the room of day one sales for GTA six, I <v Speaker 1>think day one it clears five million. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think I could see two digit sales in <v Speaker 3>the first two days to forty eight hours. <v Speaker 1>I could see it. What's the date they said the <v Speaker 1>nineteen well the supposed dates the nineteen uh remember yeah, <v Speaker 1>yes to misbelieve day? Is that a Friday? I mean <v Speaker 1>first day worldwide GTA six. <v Speaker 3>Could we do Thursday? <v Speaker 2>Thursday? <v Speaker 1>No one's working Friday. I'm gonna or Thursday. I almost <v Speaker 1>want to say like ten to eleven million? Yeah, they <v Speaker 1>got two digit million. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm almost thinking. <v Speaker 1>I mean you think about per Copia, a game that <v Speaker 1>no one was really expecting, So two point two million <v Speaker 1>on Switch only in four days, which this is GTA, <v Speaker 1>So that only had like seventeen well not only, but <v Speaker 1>seventeen million. This is releasing every is it PC or <v Speaker 1>just consoles? I think it's just console. PC's usually later, <v Speaker 1>So PlayStation five Xbox I mean PlayStation five Xbox alone, <v Speaker 1>and then you add maybe switch. I'm gonna say, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say date twenty four hours, <v Speaker 1>eleven million. <v Speaker 3>A million, twenty four hour, Yeah, I guess I'm wanna <v Speaker 3>stick with like. I'm gonna say, like, lets. <v Speaker 1>Say more than five obviously, I'm gonna say it between <v Speaker 1>five and ten, say eight eleven maybe crazy. <v Speaker 3>Eleven is definitely I wouldn't be surprised if they. <v Speaker 1>Push it says like, I don't think people are ready <v Speaker 1>like this is this is it. This is an event <v Speaker 1>in gaming that I don't personally think any of us <v Speaker 1>anyone's experienced anything like this. This is gonna be something <v Speaker 1>unlike anything that has happened in gaming history. This is <v Speaker 1>like the launch exactly, like for a for a single game. <v Speaker 3>This is it. <v Speaker 2>I can only think of a decade in making and <v Speaker 2>it's GTA. <v Speaker 1>I can't think of another game that's probably had that <v Speaker 1>much like like kind of not boring on it, but <v Speaker 1>like just like that much like this is the day. <v Speaker 2>Once this happens, everything changes. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't know, I really don't know. I mean, <v Speaker 1>it's just like I think g t A five is <v Speaker 1>the best selling game of all time. It's either that <v Speaker 1>on Minecraft, I can't remember. Can you look that up? <v Speaker 1>If someone else calls me today another spam call, this <v Speaker 1>is Saint Jude apparently. Oh, let's see, I don't know <v Speaker 1>what that's that's the third call five best selling games <v Speaker 1>of all time? <v Speaker 2>Best and see the top five. It's in the top five. <v Speaker 1>I know it is. I think Minecraft might h what <v Speaker 1>and it's not? <v Speaker 3>It is? It is? <v Speaker 2>It is, I promise you it is, uh yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 2>top three it is. <v Speaker 1>It goes Minecraft Tetris granted all five sports, my guy, <v Speaker 1>the entire Pokemon for five. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, twenty five million copies sold? <v Speaker 2>How many? <v Speaker 3>Two hundred and twenty five million copies? And that contributes <v Speaker 3>to over four hundred and sixty five millions for the <v Speaker 3>entire franchise. Yeah, so it does over fifty percent of <v Speaker 3>its entirety. I'm telling you, I think it's I think <v Speaker 3>it's breaking. <v Speaker 1>That's what I'm saying. It's gonna I agree to digit millions. <v Speaker 1>I agree with you. Yeah, we're Yeah. I don't know <v Speaker 1>what else to say. It's going to be. <v Speaker 2>Something. Yeah, Cinema. We're getting pretty pretty late here. We <v Speaker 2>got to do a sponsor. We do. <v Speaker 1>It's a quick one, well as quick as I make it. <v Speaker 1>It's supposed to be quick. I rambled because well live <v Speaker 1>and then we have so much more to talk about, <v Speaker 1>and I wanted to get out of here early. <v Speaker 2>I don't know what I'm doing here. <v Speaker 1>Bitcha xall glasses they're back with another sponsor, spot reason <v Speaker 1>to get in the now. I'm going to hand you this, Sally, <v Speaker 1>you take that. You take this? Yeah, you think so <v Speaker 1>plug that in directly into that dock and then put <v Speaker 1>the glasses on and you should be good to go. <v Speaker 1>The glasses take a couple of seconds to hold up. <v Speaker 1>Sally's gonna play, but we're not doing a whole crazy thing. <v Speaker 1>But he's just gonna play because it's fun and we <v Speaker 1>liked it last time. I have Pokepa load it up <v Speaker 1>over there. You've gotta plug it into the bottom port <v Speaker 1>on the switch to and then it should throw to <v Speaker 1>the glasses. Just don't don't do anything other than plug <v Speaker 1>it in. Alright, all right, give me a second here. <v Speaker 1>I actually, I'm I'm gonna bring DSP gaming. I have <v Speaker 1>a DSP clip actually for I kept I had it <v Speaker 1>in memes for a minute. So Sally over there has <v Speaker 1>the beast glasses. <v Speaker 3>This is different from last time. <v Speaker 2>No, that's that. That's the current latest sick model. <v Speaker 1>I saw them. Just flick on there if it's doing that. <v Speaker 1>If you can't, you see the bitch signs. <v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, yeah yeah? Do you see the screen? Yeah? Wow? <v Speaker 1>Is the screen following wherever you look? <v Speaker 3>Yep? <v Speaker 1>Okay, perfect, all right, then play away, my friend. That <v Speaker 1>game looks gorgeous in those glasses, clean lines four K <v Speaker 1>like screen, bright clarity micro led sony cinema screen. That is, <v Speaker 1>you have a fifty eight degrees field of view. You <v Speaker 1>have native screen anchor mode, which is what you're using <v Speaker 1>right now. It's anchored or well, actually I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I don't know what they call it. <v Speaker 1>That what what you're doing right now. It's like following <v Speaker 1>wherever he looks. He can he can make it so <v Speaker 1>it stays somewhere and he can look away. Yeah, and <v Speaker 1>then it's always there, kind of like the Apple Vision thing. <v Speaker 1>Adjustable screen size and distance. I believe it's like a <v Speaker 1>one hundred and seventy eight inch screen. <v Speaker 2>Have I been getting that wrong? I'm pretty sure that <v Speaker 2>is it. It's a giant cinema screen right in front <v Speaker 2>of his face. <v Speaker 1>You have a bunch of options, like side mode, where <v Speaker 1>you can take it and don't worry about doing it <v Speaker 1>right now, but you can move it to the side <v Speaker 1>either side of the screen, so like if you're like <v Speaker 1>in public or whatever, you can you can dim the <v Speaker 1>electromagnetic film and see through, and then you can put <v Speaker 1>it in a corner so you can play games in <v Speaker 1>the corner, or you can like watch like Netflix. If <v Speaker 1>you have the neck band or if YouTube ever comes <v Speaker 1>back to the switch to. I don't know why YouTube <v Speaker 1>is not on switch to don't makes any sense to me. <v Speaker 1>There's also three D options if you have three which <v Speaker 1>apparently you can do Resident Evil nine and three D <v Speaker 1>in those glasses, and I don't be terrified. I don't <v Speaker 1>know how. Yeah, I never figured that one out. I <v Speaker 1>don't know how. The sound is incredible. Oh yeah, harmon over. <v Speaker 1>The audio music in this game is so peaceful. <v Speaker 3>The music is very peaceful. I also love the music. <v Speaker 1>And that's like remixes of like, Yeah, there's like one <v Speaker 1>that's the Pokey Center remix. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's really fun. I like it a lot. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think so this is not supposed to be <v Speaker 1>a huge like deal like last time. So I can <v Speaker 1>wrap it up I think uh pretty much by saying <v Speaker 1>if you click the link below, you'll get ten percent <v Speaker 1>off everything whatever you want to grab in the store <v Speaker 1>ten percent off. <v Speaker 2>They have different models of the glasses. <v Speaker 1>Right now, they're really pushing the beast ones because at <v Speaker 1>the latest ones are the best ones, the brightest ones, <v Speaker 1>the clearest ones. <v Speaker 3>The cleanest ones. This is like next level. I'm not <v Speaker 3>gonna lie. I feel like when I play this. It <v Speaker 3>spoils me too much that I can't play a gaming <v Speaker 3>What did you. <v Speaker 1>Say when you got in when you saw them about <v Speaker 1>the last time you played with them? <v Speaker 3>I told you that. I went home and for a <v Speaker 3>whole week I just kept thinking how like playing games <v Speaker 3>on TVs and monitors just feels outdated. It's so it's <v Speaker 3>I gotta tell you this is this is this is <v Speaker 3>the next level. <v Speaker 1>It really is the future. It's just and I say <v Speaker 1>this every time. It's a luxury item. This switch to <v Speaker 1>has an inbuilt screen. You can duck it to your TV, <v Speaker 1>you know, when you travel. The whole point of the <v Speaker 1>switch too is that you can travel with it, right, Yeah, exactly, <v Speaker 1>I'm going to go on a train of Boston tomorrow. <v Speaker 1>I'm taking these glasses with me. I'm going to sit <v Speaker 1>there with those glasses. I'm playing on a giant cinema <v Speaker 1>screen the whole time. I don't have to do that. <v Speaker 1>It looks but I can't wait to do that. The <v Speaker 1>ones I tried last time, right, Uh, those are the <v Speaker 1>ones you tried last time. I think I just turned <v Speaker 1>the brightness up. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, because it's like it's it's much like I can't <v Speaker 3>see anything behind me, which is great. I just see <v Speaker 3>the screen. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah you can, you can remove that if you want. No, no, no, <v Speaker 1>I like the yeah me too behind him? Oh my god, yeah, <v Speaker 1>like his eyes in the back of his head. <v Speaker 3>Stuff. <v Speaker 2>You never know. One last thing is for the switch too. <v Speaker 1>You got to get the pro Mobile doc because the <v Speaker 1>switch too doesn't have enough power to output for the glasses, <v Speaker 1>but it charges the switch back up or you play. <v Speaker 1>It has two outputs on it and a HDMI for <v Speaker 1>PlayStation five, Xbox anything else you want links down below. <v Speaker 1>And sorry, I told you I blab too much. But <v Speaker 1>I love cher and I love working with them. It's <v Speaker 1>honestly such a they. They sent me a close for <v Speaker 1>my boy the other day. They just they just then <v Speaker 1>like randomly. That's a person that's a personal thing for me. <v Speaker 1>But I just love them. <v Speaker 2>I love him so much. And they were so excited <v Speaker 2>to support the podcast. <v Speaker 1>And they even they they booked twice this month and <v Speaker 1>they want a book next month too, and they love it. <v Speaker 2>Oh, thank you, thank you for that. <v Speaker 1>Twenty thirty eight during an ad read which it's just <v Speaker 1>raining ov that's the year that GTA six comes out <v Speaker 1>and switch to thank you so much, Thank you so much, <v Speaker 1>thank you so much. I was going to and we <v Speaker 1>don't have to do it now because I blabbed for <v Speaker 1>too long. <v Speaker 2>The ad read is over. It's over. It's over. You <v Speaker 2>know how shaid they take care of me. <v Speaker 1>They did a limited edition drop with Cyberpunk Wow. And <v Speaker 1>these are their last glasses, the Luma, and it's a <v Speaker 1>cyberpunk themed and it's all like translution with like cyberpunk. <v Speaker 1>And I was gonna unbox it. These are limited, they're <v Speaker 1>really hard to get and each one is it's eight <v Speaker 1>PM now. Apparently each one is serialized. And they asked <v Speaker 1>me what cereal number I wanted, and I got nineteen ninety, <v Speaker 1>which was the year I was born. Sick, So I <v Speaker 1>want to do it right now because it's because I <v Speaker 1>don't want to keep going on and on about it. <v Speaker 2>But then because I was like, well it's CD. <v Speaker 1>Project Red sent me this. Oh and I haven't opened <v Speaker 1>it yet. It's a PR package of Cyberpunk Wow. Okay, <v Speaker 1>And I was gonna tie all this together, but I <v Speaker 1>feel like we're taking too long. Sally, stop playing in <v Speaker 1>the glass. <v Speaker 3>You have mewtwoe. <v Speaker 2>Oh that's a spoiler. Wait, how do you wait no, <v Speaker 2>I don't. <v Speaker 3>I know. I was you got me. <v Speaker 1>I was excited. I thought you went to a dream <v Speaker 1>island and found you. Wait YouTube iss in this game <v Speaker 1>for real though? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Maybe? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, yeah it has to be. That's why I <v Speaker 1>thought you would. All right, wait, sorry about that. We'll <v Speaker 1>get back to it. Did you pin that in the <v Speaker 1>chat while we were doing that? <v Speaker 2>Should have pinned. <v Speaker 3>This is awesome, man. Next time I spoiled myself with <v Speaker 3>a luxury item, this is what I'm buying. <v Speaker 2>I love it. <v Speaker 1>And since I've been doing these ad reads, I've had <v Speaker 1>so many people message me this is so weird that <v Speaker 1>it tied back in. But the CD Project red PR <v Speaker 1>manager who I'm friends with, message me to ask me <v Speaker 1>if he should get the glasses yeah, which I'm not realizing. <v Speaker 1>Why did you not get a pair of the CD <v Speaker 1>Project ones? Wait a minute, or the Cyberpunk ones? <v Speaker 3>That's crazy? <v Speaker 1>And then someone else, another developer I'm working with, We're like, <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna get those, and I was. <v Speaker 3>Like, yeah, you're just too good man. <v Speaker 1>Okay, all right, okay, all right, sorry sorry sorry sorry <v Speaker 1>sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry. Let me get <v Speaker 1>back to it. Let me get back to it. What <v Speaker 1>have we done here? We've I think we've I mean <v Speaker 1>we covered Tomadacci. Did you want to try? I mean <v Speaker 1>we kind of moved on. <v Speaker 3>Do you guys want to talk about the ten dollars <v Speaker 3>price decrease for the dotatable games. <v Speaker 1>Let's do that in the bonus you can make it <v Speaker 1>so in the we didn't say this, but in the <v Speaker 1>bonus episode today, the patreons and YouTube members, we're going <v Speaker 1>to talk about, uh, the being doomed, the switch to <v Speaker 1>being Doomed because I made two thumbnails, so I'm using <v Speaker 1>it for the bonus. But what also you can do <v Speaker 1>your mes? Yeah, we col so we could do the <v Speaker 1>me the demo in the bonus episode. Try for you guys. <v Speaker 1>All right, you want to talk about the price increase. <v Speaker 3>Back, the decrease for the downloadable games. <v Speaker 1>The increase for the physical games. Yeah, the split depends <v Speaker 1>which way your glass is. Yeah, if it depends on <v Speaker 1>how you look at it. I guess it depends if <v Speaker 1>you want to look at it in the way of <v Speaker 1>which it is happening or the way in which is <v Speaker 1>pessimistically happening. <v Speaker 3>So let us know what do you think is happening? <v Speaker 1>Well, here it is so Nintendo announces that, starting in <v Speaker 1>May twenty twenty six, with Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, <v Speaker 1>new Nintendo published digital titles exclusive to Switch to will <v Speaker 1>have an ms RP that is different from physical versions. <v Speaker 1>So what this seems like is there will be a <v Speaker 1>ten dollar difference between the digital and the physical, with <v Speaker 1>the physical costing more. They're starting it with Yoshi and <v Speaker 1>the Mysterious Book, which we talked about Nintendo's marketing and <v Speaker 1>being a little crafty. I believe is a little crafty <v Speaker 1>because I tweeted out, whoop, Nope, that's that one. Nope, <v Speaker 1>I still have those Actually, can you cut away for <v Speaker 1>a second. I need to bring it all up. I <v Speaker 1>have two tweets here to take a look at, or <v Speaker 1>two posts. <v Speaker 2>They're both tweeted. <v Speaker 1>So I tweeted my my thought, which initially was this <v Speaker 1>great news, So digital will be getting cheaper, right right Nintendo? <v Speaker 2>Because obviously that's not what's going to happen. <v Speaker 1>No, Nintendo haven't just decided, you know what, we're going <v Speaker 1>to make our games ten dollars cheaper if you buy digital. Now, <v Speaker 1>what has happened is the cost of physical is rising, <v Speaker 1>especially with these game key carts and the way that <v Speaker 1>the world is right now and the way that importing <v Speaker 1>anything is getting tariffed. Yep, physicals costs more. The physical <v Speaker 1>is going up, So it depends which way you want <v Speaker 1>to look at it. <v Speaker 2>I guess. <v Speaker 1>However, I tweeted this and a lot of people were like, actually, yes, <v Speaker 1>and this is why it's crafty to do it with Yoshi, <v Speaker 1>because people are fooling for it. It is yes, because <v Speaker 1>physical games are seventy and digital is sixty. You're saying <v Speaker 1>the same thing, like you like. My point is no, <v Speaker 1>nothing's getting cheaper. Physical is just getting more expensive. This <v Speaker 1>person saying, no, it is getting cheaper because digital is <v Speaker 1>sixty in physical seventy. No, it was always gonna be sixty. <v Speaker 1>It's just the physical is seventy now. So when we <v Speaker 1>get games like Mario Cutt World that come out at eighty, <v Speaker 1>the physical will be ninety. Part of this is over <v Speaker 1>on Central Leaks, where it says it's over. Nintendo hasn't. <v Speaker 3>It's over. <v Speaker 1>It's very dramatic, by the way, cut away for a second. <v Speaker 1>Let me show you something. Let me show you my <v Speaker 1>for the people that aren't in the discord, my thumbnail <v Speaker 1>options for today when I shared them with everybody to <v Speaker 1>vote on. <v Speaker 2>You can all right, you can show the screen now <v Speaker 2>it's over. It's over. <v Speaker 1>Everybody, stop everything, it's over. <v Speaker 3>Back it up. <v Speaker 2>That was going. <v Speaker 1>By the way, if you're watching this, I put this <v Speaker 1>in discord and I said this thumbnail and the title <v Speaker 1>being dramatic as like an obvious joke or the one <v Speaker 1>we went with. And everybody voted. Forty five people voted, <v Speaker 1>and only five people voted the other one. <v Speaker 2>That one person in my thumbs up. Tell me do <v Speaker 2>tell me if I think the other one would have <v Speaker 2>done better. I think the other one. <v Speaker 3>I think. Well, now, especially now we know a j s, <v Speaker 3>I think there's a lot of fatigue on you know, <v Speaker 3>gloom News. I agree. <v Speaker 2>I agree. <v Speaker 1>That's why I'm glad it's positive again. But it was <v Speaker 1>supposed to be a joke. Saved Us was supposed to <v Speaker 1>be a saved us anyway, Central leak says. <v Speaker 3>It's over, We're done. We're done. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo that starting in May new physical games will get <v Speaker 1>more expensive in America. So and here's where it alludes <v Speaker 1>to actually being an increase, not a decrease, which, by <v Speaker 1>the way, I just want to repeat, Nintendo didn't randomly <v Speaker 1>go you know, what, let's make these games cheaper. If <v Speaker 1>they wasn't the kindness of their heart, they've been charging <v Speaker 1>the same price. They didn't randomly just go, you know what, <v Speaker 1>we could have less money, let's just make one cheaper. <v Speaker 1>This was already a thing in Europe, where physical games <v Speaker 1>are usually ten euros more, so that was already a thing. <v Speaker 1>Remember when hmm, no, that's a different thing. I was <v Speaker 1>gonna say, remember when Donkey Kong was like ninety or something, <v Speaker 1>it was euros. I can't of remember, like none that <v Speaker 1>this is coming out. I thought this was ultimately their <v Speaker 1>plan all along, because when they were first revealed the <v Speaker 1>switch too, they had that big direct and they didn't <v Speaker 1>show the prices for anything. Again I remember, because there <v Speaker 1>is so much misinformation at the time. That's where I <v Speaker 1>started seeing that. I think that came physical would be <v Speaker 1>more and the yeah, the digital is gonna cost less, <v Speaker 1>so it's gonna make people want to buy more digital. <v Speaker 1>So that was people getting confused at the time. But <v Speaker 1>I wouldn't even be surprised if maybe Nintendo were thinking <v Speaker 1>about it. But once all the tariff stuff started happening <v Speaker 1>and they had to raise prices on things, maybe they. <v Speaker 2>Were like maybe we'll wait a bit. <v Speaker 1>You know, Pokemon wins and waves eighty als physical or <v Speaker 1>more all but confirmed. Now I don't know if that <v Speaker 1>is true. <v Speaker 3>I haven't. <v Speaker 1>He was just saying, but what do you think that <v Speaker 1>would Do you think that would have been an eighty <v Speaker 1>dollar game? <v Speaker 3>Yes? <v Speaker 2>I think that's what is going to happen. <v Speaker 3>Now. <v Speaker 1>With them saying this is how it's happening moving forward, <v Speaker 1>then it's happening moving forward. So winden Ways was going <v Speaker 1>to be seventy z A was seventy, right, everything is seventy, <v Speaker 1>so the physical has to be eighty otherwise they're not <v Speaker 1>doing what they say they're doing. Is this is this <v Speaker 1>the variable pricing them that they were talking about? No, oh, <v Speaker 1>this is still just like. <v Speaker 2>The variable pricing. <v Speaker 1>Is Yoshi being sixty, that's variable pricing because Yoshi is <v Speaker 1>not a seventy dollars game. <v Speaker 3>What switch to game like Triple A Title was a <v Speaker 3>sixty dollars game. There hasn't been. <v Speaker 1>One which switch to title has been sixty A value, Yes, <v Speaker 1>there hasn't, or there just hasn't been one. <v Speaker 3>There hasn't been one, so so it's like seventy would <v Speaker 3>be the standard. I think sixty seven is like considered like, oh, <v Speaker 3>well we're getting sixty. <v Speaker 1>Would just be a switch one game price, because that's <v Speaker 1>what Tomadachi life is. I'm pretty sure. <v Speaker 3>So like games that are already yeah, that's a good point, <v Speaker 3>go ahead, like Metro for example, that's gonna if you <v Speaker 3>buy it digitally now, you're going to save ten bucks. <v Speaker 1>So they're not going to drop the price on anything. <v Speaker 1>It's so it's just a matter of are they going <v Speaker 1>to raise the price on the physicals we already have <v Speaker 1>so already existing, Like Metro Prime was seventy, So is <v Speaker 1>Metro Prime four going to increase to eight. I don't <v Speaker 1>think they've said that, and I would be surprised if <v Speaker 1>they did that. I don't think we've ever seen anything <v Speaker 1>like that. It's starting with Yoshi and the Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>think it's just starting now. And here's the crafty thing <v Speaker 1>I was saying, And I think this is why. I <v Speaker 1>think it's definitely why they did it on Yoshi, which <v Speaker 1>is a bit crafty, and I think it's why people <v Speaker 1>are getting confused and thinking that it looks good. It's <v Speaker 1>because they picked a sixty dollars game to do it with, <v Speaker 1>so that the highest people would be paying is seventy, <v Speaker 1>which is a price that people are already accustomed. <v Speaker 3>So I was saying, read the Igen article. They have <v Speaker 3>like an in. <v Speaker 1>Depth yes, top, let's do that. Cut away. I don't <v Speaker 1>know what you're talking about. I will find IGN and <v Speaker 1>tender price increase. I'm just going to google that and <v Speaker 1>hope something comes up. Three hours ago. Here we go, <v Speaker 1>I'm going to read this whole thing. Oh I might <v Speaker 1>be wrong. Oh I might be wrong. Here this is <v Speaker 1>from a couple hours ago. Okay, Nintendo clarifies the cost <v Speaker 1>of physical games is not going up. Can we delete go? <v Speaker 1>Can we delete everything? I don't believe it yet. Well, yeah, <v Speaker 1>where is this going? <v Speaker 3>But this is coming from someone at Nintendo following decision <v Speaker 3>to charge different prices for US physical I just don't <v Speaker 3>believe that they're all of a sudden going and make <v Speaker 3>digital cheaper, because because they said they're doing it, are <v Speaker 3>they not doing it for rising costs of development of fis. <v Speaker 3>Maybe they're just trying to push people to just go digitally. <v Speaker 3>Maybe that's like the era that we're entering in now. <v Speaker 2>I just don't see why. <v Speaker 1>I saw someone have like a whole like kind of <v Speaker 1>like timeline for what will happen with it, whereas like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>you start kind of giving them the option of like, <v Speaker 1>oh well, if digital is cheaper, people will grow accustomed <v Speaker 1>to buying digitally. Then you'll have an entire generation of <v Speaker 1>people saying, but what people buy digital or not? <v Speaker 3>Well, I mean it's just probably just more convenient for people, <v Speaker 3>just like they could like cut back on production when <v Speaker 3>it comes to like doing the physical body people. <v Speaker 1>But if a game is seventy, so if a game <v Speaker 1>is worth it sixty to them, right, and they can <v Speaker 1>cut it back to sixty, then charging seventy, they're getting <v Speaker 1>their paying for the production cost. <v Speaker 2>So what's it? What's it met to nintender not making <v Speaker 2>a true I. <v Speaker 3>Mean, but again it's not like they're paying ten dollars <v Speaker 3>per game like Nintendo or obviously their profit margins are <v Speaker 3>much higher, especially when they're doing things in bulk, you know, <v Speaker 3>So we don't actually know like how much they're profiting <v Speaker 3>from the physical but I'm sure there is a profit <v Speaker 3>whereas like with digital, it's just a software that somebody downloads. <v Speaker 1>So, I mean, digital obviously is optimal for these companies. <v Speaker 1>And it also i mean, the other big thing is <v Speaker 1>people can't trade them or sell them. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's what we're moving said at least for that. <v Speaker 1>Let me read this Nintendo isition a statement to IGN <v Speaker 1>in response to Ian Quarry about the switch to game <v Speaker 1>pricing change. Following confusion regarding whether Nintendo effectively concealing a <v Speaker 1>quiet price increase by making physical Switch two games more expensive, <v Speaker 1>Nintendo statement, the cost of physical games is not going up. <v Speaker 1>This means that when Nintendo selles digital versions of Nintendo <v Speaker 1>published games exclusive to Switch two to customers in the US, <v Speaker 1>those prices will have an MSRP that is lower than <v Speaker 1>the physical condoms. Okay, all right, so I was wrong <v Speaker 1>and I'm going to take that right now. <v Speaker 2>This is crazy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, in the way of now we go back to <v Speaker 1>being positive and I apologize. Does this mean that Wins <v Speaker 1>and Waves is going to be sixty digital and seventy physical. <v Speaker 3>No, because it depends if they sell it is an <v Speaker 3>eighty dollars game like Mario Corp World. <v Speaker 2>Well, yes, but you know what I mean. Yeah, it <v Speaker 2>will be cheap. <v Speaker 1>But then at what point if they make Wins and <v Speaker 1>Waves eighty physical and then the thing he said, the <v Speaker 1>digital seventy, they could they could say we didn't increase <v Speaker 1>the price of the physical. This is just variable pricing <v Speaker 1>of the game. But it's like that that game wasn't <v Speaker 1>going to be eighty. <v Speaker 3>We don't know. <v Speaker 2>I know, there's no way the other Pokemon game was seven. <v Speaker 1>The games, I just I feel like that's a cop <v Speaker 1>out to say, like, no, the prices aren't going up, <v Speaker 1>but staying the same or just making the digital cheaper. <v Speaker 2>Also, our games are eighty now, but that's the variable. <v Speaker 1>Pricess the other thing that put that in because you're right, <v Speaker 1>because if they're saying like, oh well, here's the cheap alternative. <v Speaker 1>By the way, these games are a little bit. This <v Speaker 1>is the new standard for for game. We're not raising <v Speaker 1>the prices, but we're raising the prices. Yeah, that doesn't <v Speaker 1>make sense. It's the pr talk. It's the way that <v Speaker 1>they're trying to like sake, you look at this, it's <v Speaker 1>a misdirection. One of two things is happening here. One <v Speaker 1>the physical for Wins and Waves is going to be <v Speaker 1>seventy and the digital is going to be sixty. And <v Speaker 1>they're true to their word and the digital price is <v Speaker 1>coming down, or the physical was going to be eighty, <v Speaker 1>the game's going to be seventies and they're going to <v Speaker 1>say that it's an eight dollar game. They're just making <v Speaker 1>the digital ten dollars cheap, which feels like a lie. <v Speaker 3>Like yeah, exactly, because it's not worth eighty dollars is <v Speaker 3>what people are going to say. <v Speaker 2>There's no way they can make every game eighty dollars. <v Speaker 1>Now, I'm surprised that Mario Kart was the only one <v Speaker 1>that they did that with so far, like being the <v Speaker 1>I am surprised game because are you surprised too, you <v Speaker 1>think a game like Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong fell like <v Speaker 1>I think Donkey Kong is the only other one that <v Speaker 1>felt like it should be exactly. <v Speaker 3>I think it's because they're basing it maybe on replayability <v Speaker 3>value of it, and Mario Kart obviously. <v Speaker 1>Will sit around for a lifetime. I think that and <v Speaker 1>also the top selling switch game or I think I <v Speaker 1>also based in reality of like people aren't going to <v Speaker 1>spend eighty dollars on Donkey Kong. It's just the like <v Speaker 1>reality to them, they know it's not an IP seller <v Speaker 1>for eighty. <v Speaker 3>For eighty and it's like people play it once and <v Speaker 3>they're done, Like realistically, nobody's going to be playing I. <v Speaker 1>Mean personally I think Pokapia has eight dollars worth of it. <v Speaker 1>I think so, But they couldn't charge eighty because it's <v Speaker 1>like it's a spinoff, wacky thing. <v Speaker 2>I'm surprised they went for seventy. <v Speaker 1>It's just once I played it, I was like, oh, <v Speaker 1>I don't regret my seventy, because. <v Speaker 2>That would be interesting. <v Speaker 1>Because if you have Pucopia as seventy, but then you <v Speaker 1>have Wins of Waves as sixty, does that telling you <v Speaker 1>that there is more? <v Speaker 2>Is there more? That's a great point. Is there more <v Speaker 2>content in Procopia? <v Speaker 1>That makes that a seventy dollars key card game versus <v Speaker 1>a physical, beautifully looking, you know staple in in Pokemon <v Speaker 1>that's my gameoint So why would that be sixty dollars <v Speaker 1>versus a spinoff which is more? And also that game <v Speaker 1>isn't coming until next year at some point. Yeah, So <v Speaker 1>we're already gonna go through this whole year of releases. <v Speaker 1>I just don't it's gonna it's not gonna come. We're <v Speaker 1>not gonna find out until like the well, we're not <v Speaker 1>gonna find out. But I'm saying we're gonna go through. <v Speaker 1>We're gonna get it directs at some point soon and <v Speaker 1>it's gonna give us all the games that I'm gonna <v Speaker 1>get Mario, Right, Mario is gonna come out and that's <v Speaker 1>gonna be eighty one. Wait, we're not then gonna go <v Speaker 1>in it two on twenty seven and get Pokemon Wins <v Speaker 1>and Waves at sixty and seventy. <v Speaker 2>It's just not going to happen. <v Speaker 3>I think. <v Speaker 1>I think so Central Central leaks when he was like <v Speaker 1>this old book confirms adela physical for Wins and Waves. <v Speaker 1>I don't really see another way of looking at that. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I really don't. <v Speaker 3>It could be just their way of like, you know, <v Speaker 3>a mitigating backlash before it happens, because now they're like, well, <v Speaker 3>by physically or digitally if you want it for ten <v Speaker 3>dollars cheaper for seventy bucks, and you know now. <v Speaker 2>I think about it too. <v Speaker 1>That's the whole reason why I like the switch To <v Speaker 1>that I got was the Mario Kart digital bundle, because <v Speaker 1>I was saving money because I because the not the point, <v Speaker 1>because the whole idea is why buy the switch to <v Speaker 1>plus the eighty dollars physical game when I could just <v Speaker 1>have the game already on my switch To for thirty <v Speaker 1>dollars cheaper so it's the whole point of like there, <v Speaker 1>they are trying to drive digital sales even higher. <v Speaker 3>Because their profit margins on digital sales are higher. They're <v Speaker 3>higher to pay retail source for a car, cost to <v Speaker 3>make everything production costs. So just overall digital is the <v Speaker 3>way to go for these companies. <v Speaker 1>I think the biggest thing is what I said, when <v Speaker 1>people can sell it, I'll get rid of it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. Yeah, But it's like I feel like most people <v Speaker 3>today buy things and they just keep it, you know. <v Speaker 1>True, Well it's like when you actually, I don't on <v Speaker 1>your phone, I can't fund that. I think a lot <v Speaker 1>of people buy pre owned. I think a lot of <v Speaker 1>people are still trying to get deals for games because <v Speaker 1>I'm thinking more like, let's say, like physical media in general, <v Speaker 1>Like when's the last time you went and bought a <v Speaker 1>physical movie or DVD movies? <v Speaker 3>No, exactly. <v Speaker 1>I buy games all the time, exactly, especially when you <v Speaker 1>have that's like a collection like that, and when you're <v Speaker 1>fully invested in a game scene. <v Speaker 3>But I used to be also into digital like or <v Speaker 3>physical movies and stuff by everything on blue just all <v Speaker 3>the add ins and just the idea of actually owning <v Speaker 3>it exactly. But then It's like I moved away from that. <v Speaker 3>Now I just stream everything, and I feel like gaming <v Speaker 3>is eventually like being pushed towards that direction where you're <v Speaker 3>just gonna end up. You know, they're just trying to <v Speaker 3>push everybody towards digital at some point. So ten years <v Speaker 3>from now, nobody's gonna be buying physical. <v Speaker 1>That would be wild. I agree with I've had this <v Speaker 1>conversation a million times. I agree with you one hundred percent. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, so we're just we're just at that point. We <v Speaker 3>just got accepted. Guys. <v Speaker 1>You well not accept the prices. Not the price, it's <v Speaker 1>just the reality of the future. I need to finish <v Speaker 1>reading this. Actually I read ahead a little bit and <v Speaker 1>it gets more interesting. Put my hair up. No, I <v Speaker 1>don't like it. My hair looks bad today, Sorry about it. Okay, <v Speaker 1>the cost of physical is not going up. This means <v Speaker 1>Nintendo sells digital versions, published games exclusives, which ever read <v Speaker 1>that retail partners set their own prices for physical and <v Speaker 1>digital games, and pricing for each title may vary. But <v Speaker 1>here we have that's their statement, right. We talked about <v Speaker 1>that to death. But here we have the original story, <v Speaker 1>the original story from Igana whatever, which I think has <v Speaker 1>some interesting context. Nintendo has to announced that it will <v Speaker 1>now charge different amounts for digital and physical copies. <v Speaker 2>We got that. <v Speaker 1>Yoshi was previously announced for a digital price of sixty <v Speaker 1>previously yeah, okay, which remains in place today for its <v Speaker 1>digital version, but its physical counterpart will now be sold <v Speaker 1>at seventy, a full ten dollars more expensive. Okay, So <v Speaker 1>I understand what Nintendo has said, But correct me if <v Speaker 1>I'm wrong. <v Speaker 2>Is that not what I said was going to happen? <v Speaker 3>It? <v Speaker 1>They digital was always sixty, and now they're saying this <v Speaker 1>that that that there's going to be a price difference <v Speaker 1>between digital and physical, And they're like, so the physical seventy. <v Speaker 3>Well again, but that goes back to them like having <v Speaker 3>the intention of releasing it as a seventy dollars game. <v Speaker 1>So so you think when they revealed the price at sixty, <v Speaker 1>when did they reveal the price exactly before this we've <v Speaker 1>known about We've known about this price for a minute. <v Speaker 1>The listeners was today, So today what we know is <v Speaker 1>now the physical is going to be ten dollars more <v Speaker 1>so when. <v Speaker 3>They so when they revealed the price of the game, <v Speaker 3>initially they said it was going to be sixty, but <v Speaker 3>they didn't specify that was the digital version of it. <v Speaker 1>Well they did well they I mean online now they're digital. <v Speaker 1>It was sixty, so yeah, I mean you could look <v Speaker 1>at it both ways. <v Speaker 3>Intendency either doing this as like a PR stunt just <v Speaker 3>to you know, avoid Yeah, to avoids. <v Speaker 2>Back again, that's called kid. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, their input, but I mean, yeah, nobody will really <v Speaker 3>know exactly like what their intention was. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>This is going to be a time will tell thing. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I agree, I understand what Nintendo has said, and a <v Speaker 1>lot of let me finish my mouth, egg my mouth <v Speaker 1>games are more expensive, and a lot of people are <v Speaker 1>going to take that at face value that Nintendo has <v Speaker 1>said nope, when not raising the price and anything digital <v Speaker 1>is going to get cheaper. I personally am skeptical if <v Speaker 1>we see it happen, and I don't this doesn't count <v Speaker 1>because I feel like this was always going to be <v Speaker 1>a six er game. It was already revealed for sixty <v Speaker 1>and if anything, the evidence we're seeing here is that <v Speaker 1>the physical is going up in price. So it's really <v Speaker 1>hard to take this any kind of way. To see <v Speaker 1>what the future games are going we have to see <v Speaker 1>the future. We have to see what happens. And I <v Speaker 1>think the pressure point that we've really touched on here <v Speaker 1>is if the if variable pricing increases, this is separate thing, <v Speaker 1>not this the separate thing of variable pricing increases. So <v Speaker 1>games like Winds and Waves are eighty dollo physical and <v Speaker 1>the digital is seventy. I don't know how else to <v Speaker 1>see that other than what they're doing here is raising <v Speaker 1>the price of physical. They're just hiding it behind. Well, <v Speaker 1>we told you variable pricing, that's the yeah, exactly, But <v Speaker 1>so I would need to see more games coming in <v Speaker 1>at the sixty and seventy price revage around that makes sense, you, Like, <v Speaker 1>I don't even know what game that would be. <v Speaker 2>Like if they announce. <v Speaker 3>They're not going back and like doing that. <v Speaker 1>With Mario is not sixty seventy, but they're not going <v Speaker 1>to do that with any of their games that have <v Speaker 1>already come. <v Speaker 2>I'm not going to go back. <v Speaker 1>No, they say moving forward after after, So like Odyssey two, <v Speaker 1>whatever you want to call it, that's not sixty seventy, <v Speaker 1>that's seventy eighty. <v Speaker 2>Wins and Waves that's seventy eighty. I'm calling that now. <v Speaker 1>If either of those are sixty seventy, then I'll eat <v Speaker 1>my words. And they are they are legitimately doing what <v Speaker 1>they said, and they're just making one cheaper, which would <v Speaker 1>be great. I just don't know if I'm on I <v Speaker 1>just don't know yet. Yeah, And like the same thing <v Speaker 1>I say with Pocopia too, is that like when you <v Speaker 1>already have some of these games that are seventy dollars <v Speaker 1>eighty dollars or no, yeah, or mark are being the <v Speaker 1>only eighty dollar game, If you have a game that <v Speaker 1>offers more than those games but yet it's cheaper digitally, <v Speaker 1>what does or like what does what does that mean <v Speaker 1>at least for the few, like the future releases that <v Speaker 1>come out afterwards for that exactly? You know, like, does <v Speaker 1>it really mean that, like these games have more than <v Speaker 1>enough content to be justified for an eighty physical or <v Speaker 1>is that because you already have you know, enough content <v Speaker 1>in a game. It's like, yeah, you could spend seventy, <v Speaker 1>but then we'll also give you the full cheaper option <v Speaker 1>for just digital. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>So I'm going to make a poll because I want to. <v Speaker 1>I want to get the audience opinion on this. <v Speaker 2>Good I do. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to do, Is this a Nintendo price increase <v Speaker 1>or decrease. Does that make sense? <v Speaker 3>Yeah? I mean it just again, it depends on how <v Speaker 3>you look at it. Yeah, how are you looking at this? <v Speaker 1>So you're looking at this like it like you legitimately <v Speaker 1>believe that games are going to be cheaper than they <v Speaker 1>would have been. <v Speaker 2>Yes, if you buy digital. <v Speaker 1>I don't mean like literally because literally they will be <v Speaker 1>cheaper than the physical. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly, I'm saying. You know what I mean when <v Speaker 2>I say that. <v Speaker 1>What I'm saying is, do you honestly think that moving forward, <v Speaker 1>games that were going to be seventy digital and now <v Speaker 1>going to be sixty? <v Speaker 2>Or do you think this is all. <v Speaker 1>Like marketing wordage and that the physical is just going <v Speaker 1>to cost more and the prices of the games are <v Speaker 1>going to. <v Speaker 3>Be the station. It could be just the way of <v Speaker 3>just trying to push everything moving forward to eighty, but <v Speaker 3>this is the only way of doing it without receiving. <v Speaker 1>Backlash something like that. And then should I add a <v Speaker 1>third option that's just wait and see. I'm not sure, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>wait and see. Okay, I'm going to start. I would <v Speaker 1>vote that. I would fully vote wait and see, just <v Speaker 1>because we need more of a sample. Exactly. I think <v Speaker 1>we need we need one more game to see, Like, oh, <v Speaker 1>you know what, wait and see is a good option <v Speaker 1>because I think I'm at waiting. There's one game I <v Speaker 1>could think of that could possibly fit that, and that <v Speaker 1>might be Rhythm Heaven. I be interested to see if <v Speaker 1>a game I don't know because Rhythm Heaven's not a <v Speaker 1>seventy dollars game exactly. So if it is seven, so <v Speaker 1>that's to put that a seventy physical, but sixty digital. No, <v Speaker 1>if they put that at seventy digital, Oh. <v Speaker 2>Oh no, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>That's what I'm saying because like like like, okay, the <v Speaker 1>only ones we know for sure that we can like <v Speaker 1>say right now is we're gonna get New Mario, right, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>obviously that's a eighty dollar game. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's I feel like that's eight Mario Kart World <v Speaker 3>was eighty then, Like that's the thing. It's like, how <v Speaker 3>do we know Nintendo A threshold is eighty you know? Yeah, <v Speaker 3>what if they come out with like a ninety dollars game, <v Speaker 3>which would be absurd would be. <v Speaker 1>So I think if Mario comes out and we see <v Speaker 1>eighty digital ninety physical, we know what's happened here exactly. <v Speaker 2>It's gone on true. <v Speaker 1>That's if it's seventy digital eighty physical, then it's like <v Speaker 1>then then I'll be like, Okay, that's kind of what <v Speaker 1>I expect that we got a disc after what you said. <v Speaker 1>Same same thing with Pokemon. We don't know of any <v Speaker 1>other I mean we don't. We don't really know about Mario, <v Speaker 1>but we were just guessing. But we don't know about <v Speaker 1>any any other games I think right now that you <v Speaker 1>can confidently say would be a seventy or eighty a game, <v Speaker 1>Because so I thought your life is no mean whatever. <v Speaker 1>We don't know of anything else we can guess, so <v Speaker 1>I do think we need more time. And I can't <v Speaker 1>even think of a franchise that hasn't I mean Animal Crossing. <v Speaker 1>If an Animal Crossing came out, if Anially Crossing is <v Speaker 1>more than Pocopia, that'd be weird. That would be pretty interesting. <v Speaker 1>But then again, like going back. <v Speaker 3>To the eighty thresholder is reserved for like the Triple <v Speaker 3>A Marios. <v Speaker 1>But then why you could you could say the argument, <v Speaker 1>why wasn't I wasn't Metro a prime power eighty? <v Speaker 3>Right? <v Speaker 1>This sentiment might change once the episode comes out, maybe <v Speaker 1>even once more information comes out, But I will say <v Speaker 1>I went so hot on this, then felt like I <v Speaker 1>was wrong, then kind of came back around the feeling <v Speaker 1>like I was right. And I want to say, as <v Speaker 1>of right now, fifty percent of people or forty seven <v Speaker 1>I saying this is an increase, with thirty seven saying, <v Speaker 1>thirty eight now saying they're gonna wait and see that's <v Speaker 1>me yeah, and fifteen percent think it is legitimately a decrease. <v Speaker 2>So I think I think we're all on board here. <v Speaker 2>It's just hard to. <v Speaker 1>Believe that Nintendo have just the only thing is like <v Speaker 1>what Sully is saying, where it's like they just want <v Speaker 1>to get people on board with the digital. But the <v Speaker 1>thing is we're moving there anyway. You don't need incentives. <v Speaker 1>It's going to happen. Whether it's just. <v Speaker 3>Because they're trying to maximize probably their profit margins with <v Speaker 3>every title they're coming out, because let's say they release <v Speaker 3>Yoshi and then everybody's trying to like, you got fifty <v Speaker 3>percent people buying physical and the other digital. I it's <v Speaker 3>like a, well, if we can incentivize them to buy, <v Speaker 3>so like that's our profit margins for the digital is <v Speaker 3>going to be much higher than the physical. <v Speaker 1>So that's one way to look at it. But also, <v Speaker 1>like on the investors side, if Nintendo were like, hey, <v Speaker 1>so investors, which they're already so like like hot and cold, <v Speaker 1>Like they've already dropped down off the Pokapea launch because <v Speaker 1>of whatever the thirty percent sales numbers actually dipped in <v Speaker 1>Nintendo shares back down to lower than they were when <v Speaker 1>PoCA Pia came out. Wow, so and the shareholders are <v Speaker 1>all over the place. So if Nintender came out to <v Speaker 1>the shareholders and were like, hey, guys, so we're actually <v Speaker 1>going to be making our games cheaper, yeah, I don't. <v Speaker 1>I don't think that flies. I don't think they like that. <v Speaker 3>But if it's cheaper at the expense of higher profit margins, <v Speaker 3>they would have to they would have to show they <v Speaker 3>don't have to import game. They would have to show <v Speaker 3>that exactly. But they probably have the numbers. <v Speaker 1>And it's it's harder to go back I think on <v Speaker 1>uh if they regretting it. It's harder to go back <v Speaker 1>on a decrease than an increase. Well yeah, because if <v Speaker 1>it don't if a company promises you things will be <v Speaker 1>cheaper and then they regret it, they got to put <v Speaker 1>it back up. But if they go up and then <v Speaker 1>everyone's pissed, they can go down. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, but see they for them, they have like the <v Speaker 3>cushion to fall back on, where they have the variable <v Speaker 3>pricing to hide behind, because then if they start racing <v Speaker 3>games at ninety, you're like, well, that's just what we <v Speaker 3>valued at. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying to say, I think either. <v Speaker 3>Way, whether whether if fails or not, they're going to <v Speaker 3>have a back. <v Speaker 2>They'll they'll have an answer for whatever. <v Speaker 1>Because if this was any other company, like Xbox PlayStation, <v Speaker 1>it'd be so easy to tell what tap because all <v Speaker 1>their games are a price. But Nintendo, there's no way <v Speaker 1>of knowing because Nintendo's does variable pricing, so they could <v Speaker 1>just think this game is worth that, and there's no <v Speaker 1>way of proving them wrong. It's a perfect loophole. They're masterminds, <v Speaker 1>That's what I'm saying. They got us, They got it, <v Speaker 1>They got us. <v Speaker 2>It's over. It's over. It's over, right, sad Mario, I'm <v Speaker 2>changing the thumbnail. <v Speaker 3>It is over. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, what's going on? <v Speaker 3>All right? <v Speaker 1>What else have we got here? Let me see my <v Speaker 1>main topics that we touched. Tomadacci, I mean, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Nintendo cuts down, oh, I mean, we've we've been bouncing <v Speaker 1>around it. We talked about it. We don't really have <v Speaker 1>to go into it too much. <v Speaker 2>We said it. <v Speaker 1>But yeah, Nintendo, they were planning to produce six million consoles. <v Speaker 1>They cut it back to four million, which is a <v Speaker 1>thirty percent decrease of inspected. We talked about it at <v Speaker 1>the start. We've been all over it. Nintendo is out <v Speaker 1>selling and outpacing every console. They've been out performing since launch. <v Speaker 1>Apparently holiday sales are a little quieter than they expected, <v Speaker 1>but again, they didn't really have a big release, and <v Speaker 1>people went so crazy on launch back in summer in June. <v Speaker 1>I think people were just getting juiced, you know, And <v Speaker 1>I think people are waiting for the next thing. <v Speaker 2>But they're still on top. <v Speaker 1>And I don't think and as you pointed out, and <v Speaker 1>as we talked to Christa Kit and Christa said that <v Speaker 1>Nintendo were very ambitious and they always have these really <v Speaker 1>high goals and expectations, and even them lowering it to <v Speaker 1>four million, four million is still a lot. Yeah, it's <v Speaker 1>still a big expectation, and it's still if they sell <v Speaker 1>that four million, they're still out performing everybody else. So <v Speaker 1>I just I don't see the reason for huge concern <v Speaker 1>right now. Goals shift and change all the time, Like, <v Speaker 1>how can you say Nintendo's doune when Pocopia is done <v Speaker 1>amazing like that for a spring launch? Yeah, like that, <v Speaker 1>how can you say that Nintendo is on a downhill <v Speaker 1>like spiral? And then as Sully thinks, Toma Dutchy's going <v Speaker 1>to be even bigger, It's going to be huge. <v Speaker 2>Which it might, it might be pretty big. <v Speaker 1>And then we and then I know that it's silly <v Speaker 1>because every Nintendo creator, and it seems like every like <v Speaker 1>person under the sun that follows Nintendo, was like, I. <v Speaker 2>Just I just need a direct. But I will say <v Speaker 2>that once we get and I'm not in the rush. <v Speaker 1>I got Pacopia now, but once we do get that direct, <v Speaker 1>it's it's gonna go. It's gonna be They have they <v Speaker 1>have kept everything close to the chest. We don't know <v Speaker 1>of anything, and was starting Spring, some is gonna be <v Speaker 1>around the corner exactly, and we don't know anything about <v Speaker 1>the nintender this year, they're gonna drop it all the <v Speaker 1>last like quote unquote direct we've had besides like an <v Speaker 1>Indie World and all that and a partner showcase, like <v Speaker 1>was the switch to presentation direct, which will be a <v Speaker 1>year old. <v Speaker 2>Like, have we not had a full direct since then? <v Speaker 3>No? <v Speaker 1>No, I think we have. We've had partners and we've <v Speaker 1>had what was the point you were making? The point <v Speaker 1>was that it would have been a whole year since <v Speaker 1>that first initial trailer and all the games they showed <v Speaker 1>at that point minus like what three because I'm thinking <v Speaker 1>like elden Ring, Yeah, yeah, like some of the other <v Speaker 1>like third party stuff, we like all their first party <v Speaker 1>stuff as far as we know, has come out. <v Speaker 2>We know the dates. <v Speaker 1>We know Toumbadachi Life Yoshi at some point Rhythm Having <v Speaker 1>they'll announce it probably summer, so for the remainder of <v Speaker 1>this year and even like up until Winds and Waves <v Speaker 1>because we don't know what time, like point in time <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty seven that will come out. That's still open <v Speaker 1>season for even more releasing we have been we have <v Speaker 1>after Tamaduchy, it's one big massive blank space until Winds <v Speaker 1>and Waves, which doesn't have a space. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. So so we had a direct. The last one <v Speaker 3>was September twelfth, that was a minute ago. Yeah, so <v Speaker 3>we had one. So the one before that was March <v Speaker 3>twenty seventh, So it. <v Speaker 2>Does feel like we haven't had many. <v Speaker 3>That's kind of space style. We do what we're definitely <v Speaker 3>do for once. It's gonna come any date and it'll <v Speaker 3>be crazy and it's gonna go crazy and I don't know. <v Speaker 2>What like the one more thing will be. <v Speaker 1>But the further away we get from last smash, the <v Speaker 1>more I'm thinking that i'd be Mario Titans. <v Speaker 3>Mario Titans. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, haven't talked about that at all. No, it's just <v Speaker 1>so obviously AI. Yeah, yeah, it just would be I mean, <v Speaker 1>you know, animal crossings right there. But I feel like <v Speaker 1>Mario maybe Mario obviously Mario Party. You never know what's <v Speaker 1>Nintendo what I want to be a Mario Party. <v Speaker 4>Maybe. <v Speaker 3>I think Luigi's mansion. <v Speaker 1>I could honestly, I could see a Mario party. They <v Speaker 1>pumped out three. Yeah, if it's anything like if if <v Speaker 1>they improve what they did for Jamboree, then that. <v Speaker 3>A mouse controls, got really good mini games, so it's <v Speaker 3>like they're probably gonna like orientate around. <v Speaker 1>So, I mean, I guess it is a bit soon <v Speaker 1>after the DC, but I always I felt like, uh, Jamboree. <v Speaker 2>Came out soon after the last one, so who knows. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, Mario Party Superstar was like twenty twenty one, Jamboree <v Speaker 3>twenty twenty four, but it. <v Speaker 1>Would be cool if Yeah, I don't know, we had <v Speaker 1>to really bang a direct and then at the end, <v Speaker 1>remember the the the squid Inkling special reveal. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that was the real, real quick too. <v Speaker 1>I wish they would bring back evening directs because I <v Speaker 1>don't know if you guys have to remember, because they <v Speaker 1>had those directs to like five people, we could react <v Speaker 1>to those. That would be a great show. We're watching alive. <v Speaker 2>That would be amazing. I wish they would do that again, <v Speaker 2>but they have to do it. <v Speaker 3>That would in the day. <v Speaker 1>I still like my idea of like, I mean, it <v Speaker 1>have to be a Nintendo character, but I still like <v Speaker 1>my idea of Leon and Smash and just something like <v Speaker 1>because there's possibilities now with the first Yeah, where they <v Speaker 1>reveal is like they reveal something that you've been waiting for, <v Speaker 1>you don't expect, maybe even a third party, and then <v Speaker 1>it turns into a Smash reveal. That's how I want <v Speaker 1>it to happen, almost like I almost want them to <v Speaker 1>reveal something huge that people have been waiting for forever, <v Speaker 1>Like what if they revealed f zero right, so like <v Speaker 1>it's the race, they're they're blasting down. You hear the <v Speaker 1>music and you start to realize, oh my god, it's <v Speaker 1>a new F zero And then like the door opens <v Speaker 1>and Captain Falcon gets out and then he looks up <v Speaker 1>and it's Smash and it's F zero. It's Smash and <v Speaker 1>like the fake out of like oh my god. <v Speaker 3>As a creative director for these directs. <v Speaker 1>I'm telling you, man, I think of these these are <v Speaker 1>like like wrestling growing up with like how would you <v Speaker 1>debut a wrestler? I get creative about, like how would <v Speaker 1>I debut this debut that I love smash reveals though <v Speaker 1>they're so. <v Speaker 2>They're like some of like the most like peak moments. <v Speaker 1>It's not in a direct because that was you could <v Speaker 1>always count on a smash like reveal. And if we <v Speaker 1>can get back to that. <v Speaker 2>That'sart tagline moving forward. It's just changed. The episode titled <v Speaker 2>It's over. <v Speaker 3>Honestly, yeah you might as well. <v Speaker 1>Hey, uh express Moon, let's do it. It's over sticker <v Speaker 1>from the we need we need it. It's over where <v Speaker 1>we all look like, oh, speaking of oh I forgot <v Speaker 1>Oh look these are for patreons. These are the physical <v Speaker 1>rewards going out. We have the stickers that I showed <v Speaker 1>you last week, and then these are going out to <v Speaker 1>all the VIP patreons. I don't want to I don't <v Speaker 1>want to ruin the messages, so I'm gonna do it <v Speaker 1>real quick. <v Speaker 2>But there's a little message on the. <v Speaker 3>Back somebody's gonna pause. <v Speaker 2>That's for v P eyes only. And I've been signing them. <v Speaker 1>Well, actually i've signed one sign one signwhere yeah, actually <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna sign I'll sign one right now. <v Speaker 2>There you go. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna sign all of these and then they're all <v Speaker 1>going to go out out. We're gonna do a fun <v Speaker 1>bit where I signed one every now and then and <v Speaker 1>then I forgot. <v Speaker 3>Yeahs too much time was over, man. The conversation was <v Speaker 3>just it really is old for a Nintendo. Guys, Nintendo's <v Speaker 3>doomed to succeed. <v Speaker 2>Doom to succeed, suffering from success. <v Speaker 1>That is going to go out to somebody one of <v Speaker 1>you write like episode one six two, so people know <v Speaker 1>that that's the one that we signed in the episode. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>So those are going out and I have a I <v Speaker 1>don't know if you saw Sally, but I have an <v Speaker 1>idea for the next physical reward should I say. <v Speaker 3>It, go ahead, incentivize people to get excited. <v Speaker 1>Okay, So for wait, would it be this month, it'd <v Speaker 1>be March. It would be for March, so I probably <v Speaker 1>should say it. Okay, if you're interested in becoming a <v Speaker 1>VIP Patreon, which gets you your names in the credits <v Speaker 1>that by the way, and physical rewards and stickers every month, <v Speaker 1>we're going to do a well, hopefully we're going to <v Speaker 1>do it. This is my idea, a Nintendo a non <v Speaker 1>Tendo VIP club card. Actually I saw that like a <v Speaker 1>membership deal. So it's gonna come on a piece of <v Speaker 1>paper and then you can you can pick it off. <v Speaker 2>This isn't my plan. I don't even know how this <v Speaker 2>is going to happen. <v Speaker 1>I want it to be like a durable in a way, <v Speaker 1>so you can put it in your wallet and then <v Speaker 1>if you like meet me at a corn or you <v Speaker 1>meet us somewhere, you could be like, look, I'm. <v Speaker 3>A get like early access to the front line, play <v Speaker 3>a game with wood or something. <v Speaker 1>But Nintendo used to do club cards they would send <v Speaker 1>out really yeah, so I'm gonna make it look like <v Speaker 1>the old Nintendo club card, like the nineties. <v Speaker 2>But it's going to be a Nintendo Club card. <v Speaker 1>I like that, and you'll get two stickers, which the <v Speaker 1>new sticker is Mario movie. It's like a it's a <v Speaker 1>space theme a Mario Galla. Anyway, we got some stuff <v Speaker 1>happening over there with the physical reward. Okay, what time <v Speaker 1>are we at? <v Speaker 3>Time? <v Speaker 2>Check time call? <v Speaker 1>That's not too bad. I think we covered all the <v Speaker 1>main big Meatiam Potato. We did cover all the big stuff. Otherwise, <v Speaker 1>I had Mario Bella Bella Park is out. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I'll play older guys and I'll let you guys <v Speaker 3>know next weekend. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, like Sully's channel if you want to find out. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to go to packs and apparently they're bringing <v Speaker 1>it to pack, so maybe i'll play the packs a <v Speaker 1>little bit. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, play that. I know Champions is there too, and <v Speaker 2>that was the other thing. <v Speaker 1>Champions is coming April eighth, and I'm going to play <v Speaker 1>that at packs as well. I'm just going to quickly <v Speaker 1>go through some of these mouse pi Remember how we <v Speaker 1>looked at that mouse Pi game. Yes, it's getting a <v Speaker 1>physical This is actually somewhat interesting. <v Speaker 2>Is this a side quest? <v Speaker 3>You had to get it? <v Speaker 2>It's over, it's over. <v Speaker 3>See. <v Speaker 2>This is for me when I'm doing my time stamps later. <v Speaker 1>Thank you so much, mouse Pi fa hia. So it's <v Speaker 1>actually getting a physical I've ordered the Collectors addition here. <v Speaker 1>And the reason why this is interesting is because the <v Speaker 1>switch to edition is fifty dollars and it's forty everywhere else. <v Speaker 1>But what you'll notice here is it's not a gamekey cut. <v Speaker 2>It's just the game. Yeah, it's just a game. <v Speaker 1>Which I alluded to this in an episode recently, and <v Speaker 1>again this was something I was told behind the scenes <v Speaker 1>that I can't talk about too much. But you're seeing <v Speaker 1>it here, and I don't know what the solution is. <v Speaker 1>I've just been told there is a solution to the <v Speaker 1>situation that is sixty four gig cuts that are way <v Speaker 1>too expensive and gankey cuts, and I don't know what <v Speaker 1>that solution is. I mean, it's to me it seems <v Speaker 1>like obviously a smaller size, cheaper cut. But this is <v Speaker 1>an indie game that is getting a physical release for fifty, <v Speaker 1>which might imply that this is part of the solution. <v Speaker 1>It could also just be a third lar game they're <v Speaker 1>charging fifty dollars for. <v Speaker 2>Oh wait, go back up to the price. I thought <v Speaker 2>I want to see something, Okay, Yeah, it's uh yeah, <v Speaker 2>sixty and fifty. <v Speaker 1>The PlayStation five version is is thirty wow, oh wait <v Speaker 1>this is forty Those are just for the games. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>but the Collector's edition is yeah, yea yeah yeah fifty. <v Speaker 1>Wait so what is it? Is it forty sixty? Oh, <v Speaker 1>this is thirty and forty, so the switch to one <v Speaker 1>is ten dollars more. Yeah, I'm I've seen some people <v Speaker 1>speculating that this could be the part of the solution <v Speaker 1>that we've seen because typically, like Hades was a third <v Speaker 1>dollar game, they charged fifty for their physical because they <v Speaker 1>used a sixty four gig game cart. I just don't <v Speaker 1>I don't see mouse pi or whatever banking on people <v Speaker 1>spending the extra twenty yeah for the physical, So I <v Speaker 1>think they figured something. This is true, Indie. I think <v Speaker 1>they figured something out. I don't know what it is, <v Speaker 1>but I know that something is happening with all those <v Speaker 1>I mean, like Limited Run is doing physical, so they've <v Speaker 1>they've clearly figured it out too. So that was that, <v Speaker 1>And then I just hear here's the Mario cast with <v Speaker 1>me and Moto. Who's missing? Do you notice? <v Speaker 2>I do I remember? <v Speaker 3>I do? <v Speaker 2>I remember? <v Speaker 1>And I noticed it and I've forgotten yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no. <v Speaker 3>Get it. <v Speaker 2>Who's missing from this picture? <v Speaker 1>Chris Pratt is there? Yes, there, Seth Rogan's not in <v Speaker 1>the movie. Breeze not there. That's the one Breeze not there. <v Speaker 1>I think it was just scheduling conflict, probably probably, or <v Speaker 1>she hates Japan. Well, actually, bree is a massive Nintendo <v Speaker 1>was she was so much stuff about Nintendo Was. <v Speaker 3>She like revealed that she's the voice actor of She's like, <v Speaker 3>you like, that's that's how you know they got the <v Speaker 3>right person. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, she's People are saying she'd be great for Samus, <v Speaker 1>and she would if they would do a live action. <v Speaker 1>I agree, Yeah, that would be good. Yeah, cut away <v Speaker 1>that movie next week, cuts me, cuts me. Huh oh yeah. <v Speaker 1>By the way, next week is the week that we're <v Speaker 1>going to go watch the movie. <v Speaker 3>We're going to with Daniel B. Who Nathaniel B. <v Speaker 2>Who's that Nathaniel B b b uh. <v Speaker 1>And then on Thursday we're gonna have a normal episode, <v Speaker 1>normal time, and I'm gonna we're gonna talk about it. <v Speaker 2>Yes, so watch the movie while you can, or else <v Speaker 2>you might be a little spoiled. Yeah, watch that movie. <v Speaker 3>A S A P. <v Speaker 2>That's it. We gotta, I gotta, I gotta. <v Speaker 1>Go home, and I gotta record a whole ass beat <v Speaker 1>them Ups video tonight. <v Speaker 2>Wow, I was scripting it all today. I'm very tired. <v Speaker 3>We can blaze to the super cheer go ahead through them. <v Speaker 3>We gotta Oh wait, how did you have a game? <v Speaker 3>So I was gonna this week. I mean, if you <v Speaker 3>don't have time, we could save it for the bonus. <v Speaker 3>It's I was gonna have you rank all the two <v Speaker 3>d Mario games and spirits of Super Mario Bros. Wondering <v Speaker 3>So if you want, we could save it for the bonus. <v Speaker 1>We have so much just because of time, fifteen of them. <v Speaker 1>I wanted to play a game where we do the <v Speaker 1>impost game. Did you see clip? Okay, it's like every <v Speaker 1>three people get a character, someone's like the imposter and <v Speaker 1>we all have to like say keyword. <v Speaker 3>Oh yeah, I played on Netflix with my wife and <v Speaker 3>sister in law. <v Speaker 2>We could do it right now. You want to, well <v Speaker 2>yeah kind of yeah. <v Speaker 3>I mean if you're on a time crunch, you know, <v Speaker 3>maybe we could save it for next week. <v Speaker 1>We would need we need Brenton to give us three <v Speaker 1>things for next week because we'd have we'd have bandy oh. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we have four people. <v Speaker 3>It would be better with more people because when it's three, <v Speaker 3>just like eliminate. <v Speaker 1>We'll do it with bandy chats right now, chat right now. <v Speaker 1>This was a fun episode, Can I be honest? This <v Speaker 1>was our best one? <v Speaker 3>You think so? Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Last week was very fun and I think people noticed <v Speaker 1>a lot of the comments in the chat were very <v Speaker 1>positive and saying that this show is like you figured <v Speaker 1>it out, This is really good. <v Speaker 2>I think this one. <v Speaker 1>You guys have been a lot more like animated and <v Speaker 1>yelling with me and like and like giving like thoughts <v Speaker 1>and stuff, and it's been a really good. And also <v Speaker 1>we've laughed a lot and we've had fun and it's good. <v Speaker 1>The chemistry is there. And I went into this, by <v Speaker 1>the way, dead tired and stressed, this red bull. That's <v Speaker 1>why I ordered coffee because I was like, I can't <v Speaker 1>make it. Yeah. <v Speaker 3>I was actually happy that I came in not fasting, <v Speaker 3>you know, because. <v Speaker 1>I said we have to be out in an hour <v Speaker 1>because I don't have the time or the energy. And <v Speaker 1>then I just didn't want to stop talking. It's just <v Speaker 1>so much stuff to go, all right, Okay. Express Movie <v Speaker 1>Thinking for the Gifted, a Nintendo podcast gift membership. <v Speaker 2>Thanks for that, j Wingo. <v Speaker 1>With the nine ninety nine with Mario Galax movie coming out, <v Speaker 1>there's been talks of a smash Bro Cinemac universe. What <v Speaker 1>Nintendo franchise besides Zelda would make the coolest movie franchise. <v Speaker 1>I think Metroid would be really cool Metroid. Yet, it's <v Speaker 1>just a shame that Metroid is not really a suit <v Speaker 1>like it. I know, it seems like so big, it <v Speaker 1>seems like such a big franchise, but it's nice. They <v Speaker 1>sell like a million, two million copies of game. It's <v Speaker 1>just not something you make a big book, bust a <v Speaker 1>movie out of. <v Speaker 2>It's over. <v Speaker 1>However, I think because of Nintendo just being the Nintendo <v Speaker 1>and Metroid, if they make it good and they put <v Speaker 1>the money in it and it looks like sick, it <v Speaker 1>might not matter. It might just bang. It might be <v Speaker 1>like middle of the road bang, but it might bang. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Moving on profit talk with the two dollars. Love this <v Speaker 1>podcast and you all keep it up. Thank you very much. <v Speaker 1>If I can just say one more thing to the <v Speaker 1>there are like Marvel movies that bomb, yes, and that's <v Speaker 1>what the Marvel budget and Marvel like backing, which is <v Speaker 1>why I mean like, I just don't know. It's not <v Speaker 1>a safe bet. If they did it right and word <v Speaker 1>of mouth spread and it was legitimately awesome, yeah it could. <v Speaker 1>Middle of the road bank anything.
