he's like, oh, son, I asked this awkward like he has this
awkward moment of silence. He goes, we have the same beard color.
I just wanted to say that, wow. Oh well he's got a has
a legendary story about what actually happened in that match and calling I don't know
it, but I know it like I know that, Like it was off

those don't have butterfly hinges, but those do have pinless elbows, so that

me up on this. I think people like rewrite history in the sense that
they pretend that Hasbo's were not detailed, Like the sculpts that Hasbos are very
very detailed. Maybe the paint app is not, especially on some of the
rereleases, but you look at like the sculpts that's on those heads, they're
very realistic, right the freedom are you there? And we've we've talked about
this a lot. M see tell us what road Rude's artwork says. What
does it specifically say. It's it's specifically just about an every single B sheet
or figure sculpting sheet UM that would be sent over to the sculptor for reference,
and they would also use um reference photos from studio shots. It's specifically
stated, go for realistic likeness, look exact like it, or go for
exact likeness. And then like he would say, like in terms of like
wrinkles, like he would he would specify like just he would go into depth
and like the textures need to be there, like it's it's basically just a
shrunken down person, but it's got stylized proportions and then the face deco portions.
I think that that kept people will lost. But it still looks like
a person's hand. It looks like it's it's incredible, like it just the
amount of that was able to be captured. But once again, they're working
with a two up, so they're they're doing this two times aside. So
even once it gets shrunken, like even the more the detail, if it
wasn't even that fine when it was large, when it gets shrunken, it's
it's it's it's immaculate. So right, and I think, you know,
with the Mattel retros, we love them, but those are super dumb down.
You look at the Hasbro Series one Warrior next to a retro Series one
Warrior. The Hasbro is way more detailed, way more realistic. Yeah,
it's funny though, because I think that Rick Flair is the retro Rick Flair
is better than the original. There's very few. Yeah, yeah, exception,
I don't. I think that's because the body I think I hear hear
me out on this. I think I think the retros are made with the
intent of reusing parts. Yes, so that's what I think. Hasbro were
made with the intention of re using parts. They just will go, oh
shit, let's reuse these parts, you know what I mean. And once
again, that was what people don't understand is that the retro is a subline
that is a feature figure. That's not when Hasbrow when when when? When?
When Hasbro was making these, that was their core assortment. So these
are the equivalent, that was their equivalent of that's that's their mainstream of revenue,
just like what the basics are for Mattel, right, and they don't
and they did. That was their only assortment. They would have the single
uh, the single carded figures that would go uh what four waves per year
at least when when it get got to that point. And then they would
have the tag team assortment. And then uh they had the Mailways exclusive the
Malway exclusives and yeah, so that was that was that was the only assortment.
That was the only foreign factor that they were working with, whereas Mattel
working with hundreds of skews, right exactly. But I will say, you
know, the figures look decent from from Mitch. So let's see what happens
when they're actually done. Let's see when they're in hand, Let's see how
they look. But well, we've already seen some FEP samples. I mean,
yeah, I'm acculate judge that I have it in my hand. Yeah,

tell from the day. That's why I don't need any of this product in
my hand. I can tell just by the reflection of the light and everything.
That's when I can tell something gets gloss finish applied to it. It's
very it's very noticeable. So right, and that's what you're saying, because
maybe that's why it's off because like it's it's not the color skin of the
plastic. If if if you're if you're Dennis Knight, or or you're Henry
oh Godwin falls over or your roadblock falls over, because these are being manufactured
through the same factory, through the same vendor. Oh you're talking like an

got that gloss clear coat over it because the shine isn't coming naturally from from
the plastic. Right if you look at if you look at the Hasbros,
none of those were painted like in terms of like none of them were injection.

Uh what was that? The ninety two I believe with caring Cross and
that one so list they list certain certain product on like so that they have
the Ultimate Edition Wave thirteen Hogan from Mersimania one on there. So what I
was getting at um is that specifically, like when it comes to these releases,
like what Mark was saying, like what if you wanted or Brian,
if you mentioned it, what if you wanted the standard version and you get
the chase, You're just confusing the consumer. So that's one thing that and

don't want to have to go through that. They see it as a burden.

collector is gonna be different. And some people don't even want to collect,
They just want to be an average consumer that just cherry picks and just gets
whatever they like. But that's not the case here when it comes to uh,
these direct consumer offerings, at least from the adult collector perspective. So

thing. But they showed up the demolition the video we were we were questioning
the magnetic heads and it actually looked they showed the video of shaking the figure

The sculpts are pretty poor. So once again that's that's I'm just speaking
facts. It's objectively bad. Is the makeup subjectively that doesn't even make sense?

again they have no necks and that's unfortunate. Um and uh yeah, so
for the deco, in terms of the deco, like they literally have they
got it right on the wrestle dudes. But the the axe has painted in
black eyes. So like Demolition, they never painted their eyes. They should
so when they put the masks on, you should just see the skin tone
of their and then their eyes. But with the axe, he's just got
full black and then when it comes to the smash you can actually see like
just so you would think like, so, I guess you're gonna have to
buy two so you can get a correct head. Because they're using tool for
sharing, uh sharing tooling for the for the masked heads, for the helmeted
heads, and a lot of their consumers or potential consumers requested or just they're
just like why why have the helmets molded on when the hasbros Literally they're removable,
removable. So yeah, it's it's it's like I said, it's de
evolving the form factor. It's it's going backward, and it's once again there's
just some people that should be toy makers. But yeah, oh my God,

yeah, they're they're an official distributor. I mean they purchase it directly.
They purchase inventory directly from so they purchase a set number of units. I
don't Once again, these aren't specified unless I'm official distributor. I don't know
what they're How can they get a Walmart exclusive? Well, they because they
pay for it. Do they pay for these units? Yeah? That's It's
exactly why people people UK collectors. In terms of figure collectors, there's not
being much support like they there are certain distributors. Most distributors like they don't
have ultimates over there, and I guess they're maybe now going to get it
through one specific retail. I can't remember exactly. Maybe maybe wrestling Shop.
Um, but yeah, they have a They produce a lot of units,
and they want to make sure that these units get in the right hands to
these people that are able to sell this product and get it into consumers hands.
So that's just yeah, so there's a reason why it doesn't get the
support that it does that it gets here in the US. So yeah.
Uh, last Mattel news, um, Mattel and Hasbro might be working together.
I asked the corporate seave about this. That was the first seat I
broke the news to Steve. So so new that Steve didn't even know that
there's some sort of merger. I don't think like a company merger, but
some sort of like maybe they're gonna brands. Yes, maybe something like that.
So we'll we'll follow up on that. Also, Asylum posted some test
shots of the Earl Hebner Warriors. Yeah again, I want to see them
in hand. Uh, very untoy edic like Series one. It's like so
dark color. Someone mentioned that, yeah, every every character is wearing a
lot of black. But yeah, it's still cool, still cool. So
we're rooting for them, especially with ethan page attached to the line, so
we're rooting for them. Uh and then a e w. We saw the
Blood and Guts, you know, the the CM punk who is apparently backstage
a wrong today broke the internet with that one. Yeah, um right,
I'm I'm like I said at the top the show, I'm a big blood
and guts mark I just like I've been wanting bloody wrestling figures like this for
my entire life. So they're doing it cool. You know, it's like
real deal, good looking blood and they've always been knocking them out of the
park with these rings side exclusive. So you see it on the screen,
and the packaging blew me away. Like, first of all, we're not
selling the fact that it's a has a dog collar in it, which is
I think. And then yeah, the blood and the way they're holding the
dog collar like they're pulling each other. It's really cool that one looks like
a little bigger than the one there was a dog collar in the Boss fight
like accessory pack This one looks way better longer, this looks better, and
like with these modern day figures, you just pop the head and pop them.
You know. The dog collar is just a solid piece like the circles
you don't have to mess with like a little strap, you know what I
mean? Yeah, I assume you just popped the heads and pop them on
in real easy. And we saw the Jamie Hayter set, correct. Yeah,
So I actually think that uh Isaiah Cassidy and Marquinn are so good in
this set. They're just like unbelievable. Yeah, I like, I'm not
trying to bury them, but I forgot private party like, oh come on
existed, to be honest, they were like year one aw guys, and
they like they just don't get any aren't they on? Like aren't they with
Matt Hardy at correct? Yeah? Yeah, like not a lot. They
change the shirts on them? What are the shirt they change the shirts?
D what it? We were talking about this before you were there? What's
up with? Sometimes the back of the packaging on the Jazz Wears is like
the day and date of what they did and what they're wearing, and that's
that's that's what they were supplied and I guess that was what was specified to
them. So the packaging team, it's not their fault. So at least
from what it just doesn't matter anymore. And then especially especially for the Wolf
like in terms of the packaging. Yeah, so I do think I do
think these new heads are improvements. They're the existing heads that they had previously,
but then they just put into two new portraits. So yeah, and
it's the same bodies you're talking about fr here and once again this is these
attires are I think about proximately two years old now, So that's what I'm
like, I'm blowing. I don't know, man, Like they epically watched
these guys in their first figures. The only way you can execute factions of
that size and units of that size is through box sets. So this might
this might even be can't you can't have that span over two calendar years.
These might be the worst. These likenesses might be worse. And there's no
entrance jacket r Yeah, that's a product. Like there's less yeah, and
and and and no belts. There's like nothing most of it, I think.
I think a lot of it went to the new tooling for for Private
party. And I think private party if I'm mistaken, they might actually have
the young bucks torsos potentially because the because the young uh yeah, they they
don't have any shots of them. Um, they don't have any e commerce
photos of them without the soft good shirts on. But potentially from what was
maybe shown at UM yeah, yeah, they definitely do so, but potentially
that could have changed because obviously final product may vary. But initially at toy
Fair twenty twenty, the Young Bucks were going to have their own specifically tooled
torsos to where it was skinnier, less muscular, but to save on tooling,
they use the Cody Roads torso and UM and the same arms for Cody
as well. So UM yeah, so these potentially it's not like Darby or
like Jungle Lawyer. No, No, it was a very specific mold.
It's it's like a less defined Cody torso and it's it's smaller in frame,
so it's just resized and then obviously some of the vascularity was removed. But
um, potentially these might be the first time that they might be able to
implement them, but can't tell thus far from the from the e commerce photos.
And then for the John Moxley, he's got new new tool, new
newly tool pants. So but I don't know if the height has been corrected.
That's one thing that you can't really you can't you can't really know correct
me if I'm wrong. This is still like not even back from rehab.

gets to market because once again, they're working with different budgets, they're working

articulation. But also they're kind of like hidden ish there where it's not going
to buy think, So I think it's going to be a one off for
the time being for Raven because I think once again, like I don't think
I think the sit was extreme, but I think when this was initially planned,
he didn't have the six and scale figures like planned out. So this
is like, this is your only like one execution to potentially make a four
and a half in scale raven and potentially you're like making your mark on Raven

you get people to come in for I mean, it's like not the same

want to do that to people. So but just cards and stuff I think
I'm gonna do on my own in there when on board for fun, I
only got one thing, okay, and I don't think that I'm gonna keep
it. But I was a little Foamo purchased. This was like, Oh
I like that. It's pretty cool. I dig it. It's it's a
Marvel legend strife that yeah, it's it's Stripe and his and his boys.
It doesn't really wait that they're all in there. It's like a giant box
set. Yeah, windowless sucks. Yeah, that's kind of that's kind of
the thing. Right, that was a flap that opened, Like I love
that beautiful box are right. Yes, that's how they used to be.
These awesome sets would come and it would open. You can see them exactly.
That's pretty rough. Actually yeah I might, I might get rid of
it. Wow, oh closed box packaging. Man, what a great PR
stunt? That was well PR stunt, Oh it was. It was a
PR stunt and that's a lot. I mean it was. It was to
get people talking, just like yeah, so it got it got people talking,
and it surely got mom and Dad's confused about what they're getting because and
I just think it's like the wrong audience. You know, little little kids
who are buying toys to play with them don't care. So Mark was is
that is that Carrott at retail? Don't know. I don't care. I
don't think so. I think it was a Hasbro puzzle. Okay, so
that actually it was on other sites, okay, on a Big Bad and
m an other things, but I think it was only online. Yeah.
The bad thing with closed box figures is when apparent because once again that in
reality, that's who buys these figures. It's in a boys toys and girls
toys aisle for a reason, it's not an adult collector aisle. Like so
the adult collector product is is by the electronics at Walmart or a Target.
It's in that collector spot. That's the adult product. That's where Neca and
some of their stuff goes. So the closed box figures, that's that's that's
for a mom and dad to purchase four. Once again, the ideal customer
is a mom or a dad buying a toy for their children's best friend's birthday
party. That's the ideal item. So if you can't reach that consumer and
if and if they can't understand that on average of what they're getting, they're
gonna think that's a puzzle or it's going to require assembly. They're gonna think
it's a model. Yeah, so they can't see what they're getting, and
that's why, like I believe what Marks just held up, it potentially had
a peace count, and the digital renders don't. Don't. Potentially that's not
what it's gonna look like because potentially a fixed whopper could come by, because
we're seeing it more and more and more with adult collectors that don't have any
freaking cash because they don't have a job in they broke objectively bad. It's
an objectively bad Birthday Press Travis Outhtard says it's an Amazon inclusive, but I
don't think that's true because my box came from Entertainment Earth Today, so it
must have been at other so it was an online exclusive. That that that's
more enlightened more than likely a collector focused skew or yeah so, but primarily
like the core assortments that you see at retail, that is the target audience.
And once again it appeals to both sides, but in reality, about
probably eighty percent of the consumer is is a child like at least that's what
the target audience is, and twenty percent is the collector a portion, but
in the grand scheme of things, the collector audience like it's it's worth going
after. But it's yeah, it's well we won, Yeah, the plastics
coming back. Yeah, it's it's not that the adult collector one. It's
that idea of a massive drop in sales. So yeah, similar with what
you see with other companies, especially one particular beer company in particular, they
are affected by sales by their marketing. So the environment zero us, but
they will be instead of chusing instead of using standard pet plastics of the episode,
instead of using defeats the environment. Oh man, that can autographed my
foreback pay. And the cody, the matel Crations cody that is basically an
open box figure with a with a with a panel flap, so there's no
pet bubble or layer. Yeah. So literally people got a sign I guess
on the ramp to do it. So that was I guess. Yeah,
so that's what people. Yeah, so it's an open box similar to the
uh what the h the no holds barred set similar how like those were exposed
so technically like so I don't remember that. Yeah, they didn't have like
any but they had like the slipcase over it, so like obviously that could

and I'm like, God, but I love to see this not like presented
like this, because well, the real people that you could meet and get
autographs, like, oh my god, that's like why I would buy one
yeah, right, and that might be the only reason I would buy one

now that they're switching back to window box packaging, the window will no longer
be composed of like a standard pet because the thing is with what with what
they were trying to go with with with Hasbro, is that that because what
people don't understand is that when it says recycled packaging like what the Cody rotes,
specifically the Elite one hundred, now they're placing uh the where's it at?
Yeah right here? Packaging made from recycled material. So but primarily a
lot of the plastic, and especially with toys that's not recycled. Primarily that's
all virgin plastic that's not post and no, that's what it's called. Okay,

thing is that they're instead of using post consumer or post industry materials. They're
just making because it's cheaper to do it that way, whereas like it's more
of an intricate process to do post consumer and post in dust your plastics.

degrade over time and it's better for the environment. Hypothetically if someone discards this

you're set up and then you start putting things in all this shit that you've

was the first execution of that Joemo torso. So this was actually it was
ripped. Yeah, and so because because when before Morrison left they had like
all all this, the tooling was already made. So they were just like,
well we got to use this somehow and put it on some type of
talent that's buff. So I guess Dango was the what was the right choice
for it? And they even had a basic torso made up because uh and
during one of the comic Con slides, so that first dangle Basic was supposed
to have like a completely different torso, but that's never even been used on
anything. And like the um the David Otonga torsos, those were used across
like Apollo Cruise, and I think the gos the entrance greats Bobby Rude,
but yeah, that was specifically first first made for David Otonga and then Darren
Young I've leave also had them as well. But yeah, this dango,
I think the only thing up with it is just like the vest because he
went off the studio shots. So technically this vest in terms of sculpt is
based off of the Restumania twenty Restumania, Yeah, twenty nine vest, and
then he just redeccoed it to make it look like the extreme Roles one and
then I fixed up the boots because it should have the white soles and the
white souls pretty much make it stand out on the shelf big time. So
yeah, but people people like, yeah, it's it's it's immaculate how many
temple prints they were able to get on here, and just I mean,
obviously many revisions had to be done to get these in the right spots,
because that's what people don't look at it from that perspective. But yeah,
it's it's it's quite a bit of work and uh yeah, and the fact
that it's got even the metallic Swarovski crystals in there the rhinestones and it's even
got a long waistband. So this is just yeah, so if if you
can just have one elite I mean technically got the Breeze Ono one, but
that one no, not even comparable. Yeah, all right, well great
