Let me say when I saw Kim, he looked the haircut. His haircut is sort of the way my husband wore his hair. Imagine my shock when I when I read that he is a retired navy captain. My husband was a lieutenant. He wasn't, so this guy had to be career navy because the captain's the only thing above a captain is a commodore at sea in time of war, and above a commodore as an admiral. So this guy, Joan, if you don't take him, I want to meet him too. He's a sail boat. He's dreaming of taking Joan. First. I saw previews. I saw a preview. He wore his dress whites when he met Joan. That's his dress, white uniform. My husband was married in his dress whites. Do you see what we already have in common? They make clam cakes. 00:36:31 Speaker 1: Clam cakes? Are they different? People do them different ways. They make them. They're breaded and it's like chopped clams you can have and they're delicious. Or you can get them in shells, like in clamshells to make them. No, it's not it's not a lord, it's not really a cake. Okay, Kim, if Joan didn't pick you on our first date, we're going to explain to Susan what a clam cake is. 00:36:57 Speaker 2: You're gonna have to make me some oh like to learn to play? Wait, I'm not done with him yet. Moving along there. We don't have till tomorrow. We only have a half hour show for God. Listen, this is our one and only shot. These guys go, Hey, those two sound good. They better be tuning into this right Mark, Causey's dads. What can we say about him? He's just a sweet, nice guy who deserves a nice woman, like the rest of these guys and ostriches. I mean, I guess I would be too. I mean Mark, let me just say. That's like saying I'm afraid of pencil erasers. Like when is the last time Mark you ran into a child and they stick that neck out and bite you? Susan, when was the last time you ran into an ostrich four days ago? Okay? Great, Mark, And I'm going to find you someone for the marriage ceremony if Joan didn't take him, because you two can live your life dodging Ostridge bites hotly. You know what I love about what Mark says. 00:38:22 Speaker 2: Though he's in Baiged go ahead, he's not alone in his grief because a lot of you are, and there's others also hoping to find love again in this best chapter of our life. 00:38:35 Speaker 1: And Mark, we agree with you. 00:38:37 Speaker 2: Mark and I are buddies, and I know the Internet thinks I was trying to track him down to be my lover, but we're not. 00:38:43 Speaker 1: We're really good friends. We talk. I reach out to him and yeah, he and I talked a little bit at Joey's finale about you know, because I lost my husband, he lost his way. He's a super nice guy. I could see him with Joan. Sixty five? 00:39:53 Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got two sons, creative intelligence. 00:39:57 Speaker 1: He's got on a plaid coat, not a leather one. He gets points for that. Uh yeah, you know he actually looks like a genuinely nice guy. He does. 00:40:05 Speaker 2: When it comes to dating, Michael says he makes sure to listen and learn about his date rather than talking too much. Michael is excited for the twice to fall in love. That's so nice, Kathy, That's what I said. 00:40:19 Speaker 1: You want a guy that asked questions three times in his fifties. What do you think about a guy though? Do you not think he looks like a model, Susan? 00:40:29 Speaker 2: Come on, no, he looks like a shy like a I don't feel like he's. 00:40:35 Speaker 1: So you're tengue. You'll chew him up and spin him out, is what you're saying. 00:40:40 Speaker 2: Let's see, he's terrified of talent show as well. Guess what all were and we were made to do it. 00:40:46 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll bet he had a good time. Sure, and he's oh, let's go, let's go. It's Michael. We're just not the golden Okay, Pablo, You know, Pablo, I don't know what to say about. 00:41:27 Speaker 2: A scientist or a yeah he I don't know an agency director whoa he looks. 00:41:38 Speaker 1: To me in the world he looks like and it's not because of his name. He just looks like. He speaks six languages. He just looks like an intellectual. Well you know, he's originally from Buenos Aires. It says, Okay, here's for me, who spends his days saving lives and his evenings curled up on the couchs watching reruns of his favorite sitcoms when he isn't volunteering as an EMT. Oh he's an emergency medical tech. 00:42:11 Speaker 2: Joys visiting his kids and grandkids in California and New York, rockety ultra marathons, and watching Rugby. 00:42:20 Speaker 1: Oh I like Rugby. He cries like me in all romantic scenes. Break took, undrown each other, eating ice cream, crying together. Perfect. Oh, look at that. He has a tough time controlling himself around ice cream. Does that mean wait a minute, does that mean he's a hard time controlling himself with the ice cream or with the person who's with He's going to trustify bucket lists that he wants. 00:42:51 Speaker 2: I still have a few more checks on my list too. 00:42:54 Speaker 1: I get it, Pablo, I get it. Okay, can I just tell you? I want to tell you about Pascal. Yeah. First of all, he's a Francophile, and you got to question that right there. Not always trustworthy. Here's the other thing. Are you going to trust a guy who's wearing that many bracelets? No? 00:43:27 Speaker 2: Because he owns a salon, cath that's a fashion thing and they look like they mean something though really they were made for him. You see how the girls give us ours. Don't judge it. Yes, he's in that looks like light green, that's coold, it's not bege. But he owns a salon, So we're different people. 00:43:48 Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just saying he's he's a good looking guy though, I mean, there's no two ways about it. But he has that devious there's something about his face that's like, you know, like a little bit of that looks a little bit of language. He likes the theater, the restaurants, concerts. They are that's where they don't look at sex as like a romantic love. It's just an act of sex. It's sex. I think Susan's ready to just talk to you about the act of sex. I'm sorry, I wanted to mean something. He says. Being romantic is in his blood. Oh uh huh, it's coursing through him. 00:44:55 Speaker 2: We are rooting for you. He takes his grandson to the aquarium. He used to play a lot of tennis, he said, have loved to Ben a fashion designer. See the bracelets, the look. He has a look, and he's his look, just like when I come and step out of the box for a way I want to look and I don't look like everybody else. 00:45:17 Speaker 1: I get you. Yeah, well, you know what, Susan. He doesn't cook, so I'd starve to death. But he makes great reservations. I mean, that's a happy life. I mean, are you moving to Paris, Susan? I could do that. Happy, he knows, and he's ready to share. So that is really appealing to me. A guy who says he's happy and wants to share his happiness with someone. There's nothing worse than a guy who's down all the time complaining. 00:46:13 Speaker 2: You know, we age, we want to be old guys are still vibrant and suitable for love. 00:46:19 Speaker 1: Hell yeah, hell yeah? Irvine, California? 00:46:41 Speaker 2: He's hoping Joan is the story booking and to find the butterflies. You know what, buddy, I like butterflies too, I really do. 00:46:52 Speaker 1: He's been to forty seven of the United States. I think I've been to forty seven traveling how many? Yeah, I think I'm missing North Dakota and South Dakota and one other. He he looks like a very interesting guy, you know, easy going. 00:47:13 Speaker 2: He seems like, I mean, if we have to judge him by a still shot. 00:47:18 Speaker 1: Again, he's got happy eyes, happy smart. I think this guy generally is happy with his life. And we have Thomas and he's not engaged. So I'll take Thomas Brown invasion black. Okay, wait a second. 00:47:32 Speaker 2: This guy he looks like he's famous, like he's been on a firefighter in New York and maybe he's. 00:47:37 Speaker 1: Been on he is a retired I think he's an active firefighter. Do you agree, Susan the older we get we want to find a guy, and I know Joan's the same way. A guy who's happy, who laughs, who has a good sense of humor, who wants to go out and have fun. This guy sounds like, sounds like he's right up. Oh my god, Kathy. 00:48:37 Speaker 2: He used to own a crappery in Rhode Island, a crapery. 00:48:43 Speaker 1: Yes, we should get him together those Wait, do you think he knows Pascal in Rhode Island? So maybe I wonder he's a big skier and a bigger A prey skier means prays after in French, it's like the nineteenth Pole. He likes to go sit and have naus him drink in front of the fire after. He's a prey ski It's it's a it's a vibe, it's the scene. And he rides a unicycle. Well, there's no room for us on a unicycle. He looks he looks kind of tall. I thought you just said he looked cross side, and I was like, no, I really thought that's what he said. Yes, he looks tall and he's obviously strong because they haul people out of burning buildings. Yeah. Oh wait, he's the chief. Wait hold, I take it all back. He just makes sure they're doing it right. Yeah. Well he he means he fought his fires during his day. But yeah, him, he's the chief. 00:49:47 Speaker 2: Okay, Kathy, so really quickly, okay, as we reviewed these, yeah, if if, what do you think?
