We're gonna talk more baseball tomorrow, Danny. I'm gonna put my baseball thoughts aside until we get the wild card going tomorrow. But I must say one thing, as you rely from the Fox Sports Radio studio, I have to say when your team loses a playoff spot to a team that's hot, Like like, if you're at the Cleveland Guardians go nineteen and four over the last twenty three games and you somehow lose out, you could accept it. The Reds are mediocre. At best. That's the embarrassing part of it. But I'm gonna compose myself. I'm gonna think about it until tomorrow. But right now again, we are live from the tiraq dot com studio, I'm sorry, the Fox Sports Radio studio. And hey, there isn't just one game. It's a once in a generation event. Maybe I could win something. 00:02:06 Speaker 2: You can watch us on our YouTube channel. 00:02:08 Speaker 1: Watch us watch us now YouTube dot Com, Slash Covino on rich FSR. But let's go back to your phone calls, your feedback, things that made you go hmmm. Week four of the NFL, I said, Danny, the Giants must have had an emotional like day, right. I mean, you got a glimpse of Dart and my wife was watching him in the post game and she's like, he's so young. I'm like, I mean, babe, you know we're like forty now, we're not twenty anymore. You see these kids and you're like, oh my god, there. 00:02:38 Speaker 2: Does she like the turtleneck and the bling? Look? 00:02:41 Speaker 1: You know what it is though? What you forget because Cavino let me play Cavino for a second, since he's not here. That's a corny look. 00:02:47 Speaker 3: Bro. 00:02:48 Speaker 1: He'll say things like that, and I'll love to tell him. Yeah, you know, I guess Jackson Dark could be your kid. You hit a certain age where you have to accept what these guys wear to the postgame. You foolish wearing as a forty year old guy. But Jackson Dar with the clear frames and just you know, he's almost got a little the pack of hair, a little bit handsome, young kid showed that that's how bad he could play. He could play. That was one game I think we all did Nazie come and the Chargers. We thought a lot of the Chargers will just win this. Maybe we'll see Jackson dar with a couple of moments. But hey, Giants played well and I think Cam scattaboy is just a good fun guy to watch. I think that team has good personality for a team that's sort of not there yet but almost. 00:03:32 Speaker 4: You know, Yeah, the crushing news of Mylak neighbors is really going to hurt the good vibes for today's But. 00:03:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's the one thing, right, I hope. 00:03:39 Speaker 4: I don't know if you guys feel the same way. I feel like when you see the outcome of this game, you're like, should have seen it, should have seen it from a mile away cross country. Early start, you underestimate the Giants because they're starting a new quarterback. 00:03:54 Speaker 2: What are they going to do? Justin Herbert throws a. 00:03:56 Speaker 4: Couple of bad interceptions, one they take back almost to the house, which sets up a score for them, and everything that went wrong for the Chargers ended up going wrong and you kind of look back and like, oh, yeah, that's just one of those that it was only six and a half. Yeah, for the spread, it was the same amount that the Packers were favored over the Cowboys. 00:04:16 Speaker 3: Well, dB, I did do it because I was just trash talking. But our friend Louis fled all the way from Vegas to New York to see his chargers and he was, you know, trash talking my raiders, and I said, you just wait until Jackson Dart puts it on your chargers. You're gonna you're going down. You're losing. And he was sending me laughing emojis, Ah, we're gonna be four and oh bro, And you know, I look, we all thought Jackson Dart. All of us talked about him during the NFL Draft, and we knew that he was going to soon be the face of the New York Giants. I'm excited to see how the rest of the season plays out with him. 00:04:50 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, listen, it's exciting, young guy. But you said it best. You had the the high of yo, Jackson Dart. This kid's got the goods. And then you're like Emily Neighbors out sort of a little crushing right, Yeah, you would be excited to see what those two would do together in his first year. And now it's like, gotta wait. 00:05:08 Speaker 4: It's funny because the Chargers were a popular pick by some in survivor pools yesterday, and I think that's you know, took some people out thinking that like Danny's friend yeah four and oh easy pasy not the case. 00:05:21 Speaker 3: Yeah, our video guy Saga had the Chargers in a survivor pool. 00:05:25 Speaker 1: You know, the MBA. You bring up a good point. I think us, as you know, fans, broadcasters, you know, regular guys, we forget that going across country isn't always easy, like it really is one of those understated things in sports when you know, do you think those guys want to fly three thousand plus miles early game? You know you're justting, you know, your body a little jet lag like that is a real thing. But when when athletes are on the road, and sometimes you'll see in baseball when you're playing three hundred I was gonna say three oh, it feels like three hundred sixty five days a year when you're when you're changing time zones west coast road trip, East coast trip, and you see a good team lose to a sort of a low lower team that doesn't shock you. 00:06:10 Speaker 2: You know. It's one of those things as well. 00:06:12 Speaker 4: Where and now can't be the excuse for the Chiefs, but maybe it was in a different way. You look at now what the Chargers had to endure. Sure they had a little extra time because they played Monday night against the Raiders in Week two, but they were all the way to Brazil, all the way back. Then another road game they play at home last week against the Broncos, physical, tough opponent in division, and then you have a shortened week essentially because you're flying out to the East coast, and you wonder if maybe that travel earlier in the first couple of weeks ended up catching up with them yesterday. 00:06:45 Speaker 1: When you talk about yes, I was I'm your sorry, you know, Covino's not here, so I just have this I can just interrupt you, and I don't so sorry. 00:06:53 Speaker 5: I was just gonna say, listen to you being talking about American sports teams getting all. 00:06:58 Speaker 2: Oh, I'm out of my time zone and all out of it. 00:07:00 Speaker 5: What if you're playing sports in Russia where they have eleven time zones. 00:07:04 Speaker 1: How about that eleven That's why I've always felt bad for Ivan Drago when he used to have to fight in different time. 00:07:09 Speaker 2: Zones eleven times. 00:07:11 Speaker 1: Here's here's the something that maybe go h with that spots like we're gonna let that ioa sam Russian time zone joke fly. 00:07:23 Speaker 4: Now, imagine along the TV promos are like eleven Eastern, tenth, Central nine, Mountain eight seven. 00:07:30 Speaker 1: Or last crazy. 00:07:31 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:07:33 Speaker 1: I think a couple of weeks ago we were and guilty, what time, what time? And I'll pull my hand up guilty when the Chiefs started out rough, you know, and then you're like, oh man, then they got to play the Ravens and they got to play this right now. It shows you how unfortunate those blown opportunities the Broncos had and how yesterday losing to the Giants. Right now, well, Kansas City's right there. They're just two and two. Like everything that we thought, oh everything was going wrong for the Chiefs. Next week they could be right right back in the mix. They you know, they get to play the Chargers again. We'll see what happens there. But it's just interesting how quickly things change in the NFL. We were like writing the Chiefs off and they're right there in the mix again. 00:08:21 Speaker 4: And considering everything else kind of falling apart with the Ravens and the Chiefs doing some of that yesterday. Yeah, it opens things up Denver tonight. I mean, if you don't take care of business at home, you're behind the eight ball a bit. 00:08:35 Speaker 1: Just to me that it's funny that they're just right back in the mix and Baltimore at one in three, I'm I'm mean, I'm the fool that keeps saying, oh, they'll be fine, but one three. 00:08:46 Speaker 5: I think they will be fine. I think at one and three they're still going to be okay. The Ravens, Yes, Rich I told you last week not to bet on them. Remember did you still put your money on them? 00:08:56 Speaker 2: A little bit? 00:08:56 Speaker 1: Not a ton, But yeah, I thought the Ravens. I just thought they I foolishly thought they just had more firepower and I thought it would be a battle. They just couldn't do. 00:09:05 Speaker 4: Them losing nom de Medbik for the season he suffered in an that injury in week two really hurts their defense. And when you look at what their defense has done or not done in the last two weeks, I don't think if you don't have Lamar for the next two weeks. They have a buye in week seven, so you've got the Texans and I believe it's the Rams the week after. 00:09:27 Speaker 2: Don't quote me on that. I believe, bro. 00:09:29 Speaker 1: Yeah, I said they play Ravens are home against the Texans, and then the following week they are home, they. 00:09:36 Speaker 2: Host the Rams. Yes, and then you have a bye. 00:09:38 Speaker 4: So if Lamar's hamstring injury is any significance, you're holding them out to the bye, right, Like there's. 00:09:45 Speaker 1: Yeah, man, that's a game. As a Niners fan, I wanted the Ravens to beat the Rams. But see you know, yeah, oh yes, and for your Seahawks as well, So that was interesting. Rams looking good, you feel you feel good about you're a Seahawks fan. 00:09:59 Speaker 4: Yeah, don't feel good that they look good. And but in the same breath, like, I think that the Colts prove that they're for real yesterday to go to LA and play like they did and have the opportunities that they had. The fumble at the goal line by d and I Mitchell, that's a killer. Mitchell had a holding call that called back at Jonathan Taylor, touched on run. All of those things the to to at well play carry Rhoades broke it down on our Sunday show on How To To at Well got the eighty eight yard touchdown. There's also a guy that fell on the play. Maybe it was a bad defensive call, but the Colts were right there. That was something that I took away from yesterday's game that made me go, hm, okay, the Colts are for real. That was their opportunity to show the other one is the exact opposite. I know we all think that Mike McDaniel's going to get fired. Brian Callahan's going to be gone soon in Tennessee. Cam Ward, you know, I know I had his comments as well, But Callahan also is arguing with reporters again say points. 00:10:56 Speaker 1: He was making someone question the what like the the guts or the the I guess you would say the attitude of his team, and he got way defensive way quick. 00:11:05 Speaker 2: Did you hear the cam Ward? I don't know if you're maybe Ward. 00:11:08 Speaker 1: Said he's the answer. Remember we always go over who's ass? He pretty much said it, We're ass. 00:11:13 Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean we're keeping a book right now. We ask so we owned four, we have this one. We got none to lose. We dropped a court of our games, and we've yet to do anything, so we have to lock in. 00:11:24 Speaker 4: All I could take from what happened, what's happened in Tennessee, and again they're a team that we don't focus on a lot. Last year, all I can remember is Brian Callahan yelling at Will Levis, like screaming yep at the top of his lungs at Will Levis, making these on head coach like things. I thought it was gonna work. I thought that he would be able to take what he knew in Cincinnati and bring it over. You now have a new front office there. You don't score any points against the Texans. They missed a couple of field goals or at least one I know for sure. But and the Texans have a good defense. But that's just that one. If you have your first year first overall pick saying that after four games, and you've got new leadership in the front office, man, I think changes are coming quickly to Tennessee. 00:12:10 Speaker 1: I hope no one on our show here ever tells the world we're asked, you wouldn't say that, right, Guys, you wonder do you want to come out and be like, Hey, we asked, no. 00:12:20 Speaker 6: I mean we're keeping a book right now. 00:12:21 Speaker 2: We asked, especially a guy who's only been there eight minutes. 00:12:25 Speaker 1: Right, Hey, guys, how do you feel that conven on resha We asked, that's not a good sign for cam Ward. 00:12:31 Speaker 4: You'll hire a new producer to help with all these video things. And then three weeks in they're like, yeah. 00:12:37 Speaker 1: We asked, sorry guys, but hey, any other observations. I think we sort of went over most things. Am I missing anything? 00:12:45 Speaker 2: Guys? 00:12:46 Speaker 1: Am I missing anything? Let's go to Fred and West Virginia. Fred, what were your big observations this week in the NFL. 00:12:53 Speaker 2: One. 00:12:53 Speaker 7: First thing off, I'll take a lot of the like in you're going to be really quiet about the Mets and the Reds conversation till tomorrow. Thanks, But no, I've gotta this is completely outside of the box. It never happened, but I got some I gotta I gotta take on the tie. A way to fix the tie. Nobody wants to see a kick or decide it. Nobody wants to see that it's mooring. Okay, I think flip the coin. You go into the you go into overtime with with absolutely zero starters. Only bench players. Let the let the guys that have been watching the game, let them go out there and decide who's gonna win this game. 00:13:34 Speaker 1: You have to play overtime. When you when your backup quarterback, back up running back, and you know, receiver. 00:13:41 Speaker 2: Three and four suddenly turn into the preseason, that's a. 00:13:45 Speaker 1: Really exciting By the way, Fred, you're a Reds fan, correct, Yes, sir? Do you see your your Reds dancing in the in the clubhouse? I will say I thought that was pretty funny. People are mocking it. I just feel like they're having fun, you know what I'm talking about. 00:13:57 Speaker 7: Right, I think they're having a blast. I can't believe they made it this far. I'm a Reds fan, have been all my life. In the fact they did anything after the All Star break bloized my mind. 00:14:06 Speaker 1: The last time you guys are relevant, Chris Sabo was wearing goggles and Mark Shott was the owner. So you know, good for you guys. The Mets. I told you, I'm embarrassed as a Mets fan because it's not like like when the Mets had collapsed in the past. It was a like in seven or oh A, you had like teams like Philly who had Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins, and these teams are good, and they were almost like like franchises that went on to win something. The Reds win eighty three games and they were five hundred in the second half. The Mets are just that much worse. So it's aggravating. But hey, in a three game series at Dodger Stadium with the Dodgers bullpen. Luckily for you, Danny, I think the only bullpen worse than the Dodgers is the Reds bullpen. 00:14:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, Rich, save it for tomorrow. 00:14:50 Speaker 3: Saving it for tomorrow. Right, Baseball thoughts? We were talking about all the time zones. Yeah, Brandon in Minnesota want Stawagh and on What's UPR? 00:15:00 Speaker 1: Sorry Bud. 00:15:01 Speaker 8: Yeah, so talking about time zones here as an excuse, but then a bunch of Europeans just fly to a whole different continent over the Atlantic Ocean and kick our asses. 00:15:10 Speaker 1: That is true. 00:15:11 Speaker 2: Point, that is true. 00:15:12 Speaker 1: But you know, I'll say this, if you had to pick what time zone is best to watch football on a Sunday, what is the best time zone? I feel like East Coast because even though we live on the West Coast, we're in Los Angeles. I still call them the one o'clock and four o'clock games, even though we're out here out here. Ten am one is the central got a right? Is that? 00:15:32 Speaker 4: The noon in three's the sweet spot growing up in Central Like, it's just so natural that the NFL starts at noon. 00:15:41 Speaker 2: It's like you felt like the league decided noon. That's pretty good, that's pretty cool that, like, I, you know, I try to open a high noon at noon. 00:15:51 Speaker 1: I grew up in New York, and oh my goodness, one criticism, I'll give it all New Yorkers. They think the world revolves around them, and it doesn't, but they think it does. East Coast kids convinced, like, well the world certainly this is the time zone. Stuff's too late. There are games where I'm I'm I'm getting a little, you know, tired. Here on the West Coast, I'm like some one of the East Coast fight nights, Canelo Alvarez walked out to the ring, I would think, what was it after midnight Eastern Danny when we watched that fight two weeks ago. So I don't think East Coats got it right. West Coast might be a little early. Ten AM's a little you know you're getting your coffee and football starting on a Sunday, so you're staying central. Huh. 00:16:30 Speaker 4: I think Central just because of where that noon is. It blew my mind with the East Eastern time zone. Once when it was like eleven forty five, and this was before there were two hour pregame shows, but there was no pregame going on. There was another time I was out for Monday night football. We got done with golf, went and had dinner, came back and the game wasn't on for another thirty minutes. You know, like this is a Monday night. Like you're like wait, I thought, well, you know we're winding down in the game hasn't started. 00:16:58 Speaker 1: It. The only thing about that West Coast at Sweet and Danny, I think you'll agree, after a nice weekend of doing stuff with the kids and the family and stuff, you're watching all your football. The fact that Sunday night football is like great, Like it's around dinner time, so you almost feel like dinner time till probably you know if you got kids, like dinner time till bedtime is Sunday night football. 00:17:18 Speaker 2: Yeah, yesterday, starting at six thirty am our time, we had football all the way until the evening time, and you're right, you could take the family out to dinner and sneak a look over at the TV's at the bar and watch the Sunday night came. 00:17:30 Speaker 1: But I remember as a kid, remember when Monday Night football started at nine o'clock East Coast time Monday, when Monday night football was your primetime thing right before Sunday Night football was, you know, the number one thing. I was only allowed to stay up the whole game if it was the Niners because on the East Coast, my Dad's like, yeah, this game is gonna end after midnight. You got school, kiddo. So you guys never realized that life not being able to stay up. 00:17:53 Speaker 9: Here's a doozy for you. 00:17:54 Speaker 5: If you're a Michigan State Spartan fan, you're an East Lansing Michigan that's Eastern time, and your game again into USC started at eight pm Pacific time. That means your game didn't start until eleven pm Eastern time, and it didn't get over until. 00:18:07 Speaker 2: Three in the morning. 00:18:08 Speaker 1: Yeah, eleven. 00:18:09 Speaker 2: How would you want to start watching a game at eleven pm? 00:18:11 Speaker 1: Dude? You can't satisfy everyone. And again, I know I'm saving baseball for tomorrow. But on the West Coast, if you're Tigers, are Guardians fan that's relocated to the West Coast, you your playoff games at ten am tomorrow morning. So there is like, you know, weird things about time zones out here on the West Coast. So hey, at least it's not Russia. At least it's not Russia, Sam. That is the takeaway of today. All right, listen, coming up, we're gonna play last one standing. This is a game with lay every Monday. And if you want to win a cavine on Rich Nerve football, I was a new nerve football, new nerve football. I'm telling you I like it better. It's it's got a little more. Uh. That's like it looks like the turbo because I'm gonna say it's girthier. That's not the word. It's uh, it's got what's fout more uh, more weight to it more. It's more dense, Lorraine. 00:19:02 Speaker 9: It's a I'm your dens. 00:19:03 Speaker 1: You're my density. So listen, if you want to win a cavino on Rich, Fox Sports Radio and near Football, we'll play next eight seven to seven, nine to nine on Fox, and of course we'll touch on more football I'm saving all the baseball for tomorrow, but just really exciting. And you know what, I haven't brought them up because I'm bummed about it. But if you have any thoughts guys on the forty nine Ers Jags? Is that a game they let's slip away? Is this Niners team where they did not deserving a four? And oh like that they had the ball brock Purty couple picks like it was sloppy. 00:19:34 Speaker 2: I don't know. 00:19:35 Speaker 1: We'll talk about that and more next right here, Fox Sports Radio. Oh Man, a depressing Monday. If your team just missed the playoffs? Playoffs? Well, playoffs playoffs? Mets fan Rich Davis here Covino on Ritch Fox Sports Radio. Rich? 00:22:33 Speaker 3: You have five seconds to name an MLB team who has the fewest playoff appearances since the year nineteen ninety five. MLB team fewest appearances in the playoffs since ninety five. We'll take the bottom eighteen and there's a few ties, all right, bottom eighteen, Rich, you're going to be at first starting right now? 00:22:51 Speaker 1: Go bottom eighteen since what year? 00:22:53 Speaker 2: Ninety five? 00:22:57 Speaker 1: Marlins on the list. 00:23:00 Speaker 10: Buyer, Rockies Rockies numbers, yes with five, Sean Irates Pirates have three? 00:23:12 Speaker 2: Rich. 00:23:14 Speaker 1: The team that just ended up my Mets, the Reds. 00:23:18 Speaker 9: Reds yep with four. 00:23:20 Speaker 2: Buyer. 00:23:21 Speaker 9: I'm gonna go White Sox White Sox correct with five, Sean. 00:23:32 Speaker 7: Sorry, we'll We'll go with the Royals. 00:23:36 Speaker 9: Royals with three. 00:23:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the same thinking as Dan Bayer on the White Sox, like they had one run or so two and that's it. 00:23:44 Speaker 2: Good battle in this category, Rich, back, you had. 00:23:46 Speaker 1: A couple appearances. But I'm gonna say, just because of the tough division, the Orioles haven't had many appearances, correct with only six? 00:23:52 Speaker 2: Nice, Buyer. 00:23:53 Speaker 9: What about the Angels Angels, yes with seven? 00:23:58 Speaker 7: The Rangers. 00:23:59 Speaker 9: Rangers, guess with six, Rich. 00:24:03 Speaker 1: I'm gonna stick in that division. I feel like it's always a treat when the Mariners make it, because it's rare. The Mariners, they would be there with four. 00:24:10 Speaker 9: Buyer Nationals Nationals with four as well, Boom Sean. 00:24:18 Speaker 7: Three Cubs not. 00:24:21 Speaker 9: In the list. 00:24:21 Speaker 2: Oh sorry, brother, back to Rich. 00:24:24 Speaker 1: But I'm gonna say because I feel like I'm so unhappy. Usually the Mets, you would be correct. They've never made this a fun fact. One time in their history they made the postseason back to back. 00:24:35 Speaker 9: They have seven. 00:24:36 Speaker 2: Yeah, They're the reason I thought of this category. 00:24:38 Speaker 1: Thanks, Buddy, Buyer. 00:24:44 Speaker 2: Tigers. 00:24:45 Speaker 9: Tigers on the list with five. 00:24:48 Speaker 2: Back to Rich. 00:24:49 Speaker 1: The Tigers, huh okay, I'm going Blue. 00:24:53 Speaker 9: Jays correct with five as well. 00:24:55 Speaker 2: Buyer, how many way have left? A few? 00:24:59 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:25:00 Speaker 2: Eighteen? 00:25:00 Speaker 9: Oh gosh, Padres correct with seven? 00:25:04 Speaker 2: Nice, Rich three two. 00:25:11 Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Red Sox. That's wrong, that would be wrong, man, Yeah, Buyer, what would you have had next? 00:25:18 Speaker 2: Twins? 00:25:20 Speaker 3: So you guys missed the last one though, Yeah, Buyer wins that that round right there. Some of the ones we missed, Yeah, the three you missed were Brewers with six, h d Backs with seven, and Raised with seven. 00:25:34 Speaker 1: You know, I would not have said Brewers. I feel like they're a I've had a bit. 00:25:39 Speaker 2: Yeah, especially as of as of late. 00:25:41 Speaker 1: Isn't it crazy that the Rangers, Royals, and Nationals have all won a World Series the last ten years. And and uh, well, if you want to go back to the two thousands, the White Sox had that one run, they won a World Series. And that's it. That's it. Oh five twenty years ago. 00:25:54 Speaker 3: Buyer had the ball last. There he gets the point. We moved to the second category, iron horses. You have five seconds to name an NFL player who leads the league in all time games played, most career games played in the NFL. All right, we'll take the top thirty. There's a few ties. None in the top thirty are active players, by the way, Top thirty starting in Minnesota with you, Sean, when the when the timer starts? 00:26:18 Speaker 2: Right now, go. 00:26:21 Speaker 9: Brett farv Brett Farve on the list with three hundred and two. 00:26:25 Speaker 2: Buyer Tom Brady. 00:26:27 Speaker 9: Tom Brady on the list with three hundred and thirty five. 00:26:31 Speaker 1: Double Talk Dickie Adam Vini Vinitarry with three sixty five. 00:26:37 Speaker 9: Number two on. 00:26:38 Speaker 2: The list, Sean three two one. 00:26:46 Speaker 7: Martin Anderson. 00:26:48 Speaker 9: What you say, number number one? 00:26:52 Speaker 2: Dang you you just got it in, all right, Buyer, I just. 00:26:56 Speaker 8: Want to say, John Carney, okay, yes, number ten, Yes, Connie's okay, okay, Rich, No, Matthew. 00:27:09 Speaker 2: Smells like cabbage. O three. 00:27:11 Speaker 9: Peyton Manning, Peyton Manning, Uh not on. 00:27:15 Speaker 1: The all right? Back to Sean, he's run out of kickers. 00:27:20 Speaker 9: That are Kemp, Tomont, Jim Marshall, Jim Marshall, yep, number twenty two, great two fire. 00:27:28 Speaker 2: What about Bruce Matthews. 00:27:29 Speaker 9: Bruce Matthews, yes, ninety six at number thirty. 00:27:33 Speaker 2: Yeah, he was an iron man, all right, Sean? 00:27:38 Speaker 7: Uh, Drew Brees. 00:27:40 Speaker 9: Drew Brees is on the list, oh man with two hundred and eighty six. 00:27:44 Speaker 1: I still was choosing between Peyton Manning and Drew Brees and I picked wrong. 00:27:47 Speaker 2: Okay, nice battle here back to Bayer. What about Gary Anderson? 00:27:50 Speaker 9: Gary Anderson is on the list at number three, three hundred and fifty three games? 00:27:54 Speaker 2: All right, Sean, back to you. 00:27:58 Speaker 9: Three to Frank Frank or no Frank or no? 00:28:06 Speaker 7: Yes? 00:28:06 Speaker 3: That means buyer walks off with back to that category boom book. 00:28:15 Speaker 1: Yes, I picked one of the lists. You may because of his longevity? Is big Trent Williams on that list because he's been around forever? It seems no big top thirty if he was the one Lineman that made that list. 00:28:27 Speaker 2: I was going to say Roethlisberger, but uh that was a guest. 00:28:32 Speaker 3: And remember which I said, none of the top thirty were active players. Okay, yeah, that is Buyer's thirty third win in this game. 00:28:40 Speaker 2: Oh it's Jerry Rice on that list. 00:28:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, he is all right. And Sean there in Minneapolis, we thank you for playing. 00:28:50 Speaker 7: Thank you was fun. 00:28:51 Speaker 1: Yeah, it was fun, wasn't it. 00:28:53 Speaker 2: Jerry in the top ten. 00:28:55 Speaker 1: I can't win. I win. 00:28:57 Speaker 2: I can't George. 00:28:59 Speaker 1: George Blade with his oldest picture that they put next to Brady when. 00:29:02 Speaker 2: They were both. 00:29:03 Speaker 4: If you wouldn't have said Vinitary, I would have completely blanked on Kickers. 00:29:09 Speaker 2: I would have gone down the quarterback road. 00:29:11 Speaker 1: You know what I feel like, I shot my Yeah, shot too soon. 00:29:14 Speaker 2: I guess opened up a whole new world. 00:29:16 Speaker 1: I'm so I can't even win. The Niners lose, the Mets lose, I lose. I'm just a loser. Oh damn Bayer taking away update? 00:29:23 Speaker 2: Please? 00:29:23 Speaker 1: I you know what's aggravating? Can I say this? When you work in sports radio, TV podcasting, when your team stink and you have to then go talk about sports, it's. 00:29:35 Speaker 4: Not no no, though it isn't, so let me get this out of my way. No practice for brock Purty today. We don't know his status for Thursday's game after having an apparent setback with his toy injury. That was the message from Kyle Shanahan earlier today. Big divisional showdown on Thursday night between the Rams and Niners to start Week five. We need to wrap up Week four tonight with the Jets and Dolphins and Bengals and Broncos playing. An mrim Onday confirmed that Giants wide receiver mo Leage Neighbors is a torn ACL he'll miss the rest of the season. The team placed Neighbors on ir this afternoon. In a statement, Giants owner John Marra announced that he's been diagnosed with cancer, is getting treatment, and will continue to work through the diagnosis. Raven's head coach John Harbaugh said Lamar Jackson couldn't have returned to yesterday's game because of his hamstring injury. A status for Week five's up in the air. Harbaugh also said defensive tackle nam Di Manapike is going to miss the rest of the season because of a neck injury, and I found network reports Chargers left tackle Joe Alt expected to miss multiple weeks because of a high ankle sprain suffered yesterday against the Giants. When I asked multiple times if he's going to be starting Joe Flacco one week five against the Vikings, all Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski would say is that he's looking to make the offense better than it has been the first four weeks of the season. Minnesota Twins pottered aways with manager Rocco Baldlly after seven seasons. Bob Melvin out as the skipper of the Giants after two years. Interim Pirate skipper Don Kelly now a full time manager, getting a contract extension after taking over for the fire Derek Shelton in early May. Pirate's we're fifty nine and sixty five under Kelly, so a good second half of the stretch keeps him in The Steel City Dodgers are going to start Blake Snelling the Mountain Tomorrow's game one against the Reds. Bucks forward Jannison tet Kupo is going to miss the start of training camp because he's dealing with COVID and Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard responded to the allegations they had a no show endorsement deal to circumvent the salary cap by saying, quote, the NBA is going to do their job. None of us did anything wrong. We invite the investigation. End quote that from Kawhi Leonard Rich back to you. 00:31:28 Speaker 1: Yeah, dB, I know you and I both love uniforms like that. We just both are fascinated with like alternate uniforms. The city connects in baseball, and I know a lot of new NFL alternates this year. Did you see the Dolphins one? They're rocking tonight and it looks pretty sweet. I think, I don't know, it's like a cool Matt finish and they got the like dolphin. 00:31:48 Speaker 4: I don't know if it's black or blue because when they spray panted the field that looked blue, but the uniforms look black. It's very very unique, very dark. I just don't understand why the other team isn't wearing their altar, Like, why didn't you plan this in a certain way where if you're wearing the Seahawks. 00:32:03 Speaker 1: They didn't text each other, That's what it was. 00:32:04 Speaker 2: They didn't. 00:32:05 Speaker 1: They showed up wearing a you know, different things. 00:32:07 Speaker 4: I remember at the Draft they were trying to build up this whole rivalry thing, and then they announced that only two divisions each year will get rivalry uniforms. Well, they're only wearing them in division games, so why wouldn't you design them where you could wear them against the other opponents. The Seahawks have a gray one. They couldn't wear gray against the Cardinals sand on Thursday. So it looked weird that the Cardinals were wearing a uniform. 00:32:28 Speaker 1: You see when they zoom in on the Cardos and they said, it just looks like a tortilla or like, yeah, I thought it looked like mud splatter, but that's kind of way. 00:32:35 Speaker 5: It was sort of like a dirt dust, desert storm, you know, very. 00:32:38 Speaker 2: Light beige sort of uniform. So tortilla is nice. I like that. 00:32:43 Speaker 1: I get to Cavino. Those two makes me hungry. That's why he likes his girlfriend. She's pale with a lot of birthmarks. They said she'd like a tortilla. All right, let me ask you this. 00:32:52 Speaker 2: That's gotta be racist. 00:32:53 Speaker 1: No, I'm i'm I've identify as Mexican. I have a questionure of you, Ben. You eat a taco in every pre show me, so I YEA cooler dance by the way, as we go to break cooler dance. Brent Sutter on the Reds, who was doing that strut in the locker room as the red celebrated. Or Aaron Glenn Jets coach, Remember, like a week ago he's strutting. 00:33:17 Speaker 3: I mean that was a cooler strut. That's how he celebrated winning. Was a player, dude, he had the coolest strut. I mean, I know it's a couple of weeks ago, but I don't know. Or the Reds in the locker room. 00:33:26 Speaker 5: After they realized that Aaron Glenn has like he's got dancing shoes on. 00:33:31 Speaker 1: I mean, definitely, I want to see a little strut Tonight. We got a double Doozy for Monday Night Football, So I got a teaser. 00:33:38 Speaker 7: Bet. 00:33:38 Speaker 1: I think we're gonna entertain next we'll go over a little NFL right here. Covin on Rich Fox Sports Radio, Monday, Kavino on Rich on Fox Sports Radio. The whole crew is here, Danny g Io was Sam Dan Byron Spotty. Thank you guys for hanging today and being such great contributors and teammates, unlike the Mets. Now, see if the Mets had everyone contributing like you guys, they be going to Dodger Stadium tomorrow, but no, it's the Reds. I I cannot wait until tomorrow's show because I need twenty four hours to just sort of let it sit in. I just read a you know, New York broadcaster Mike francesa famous East Coast guy, just called the Mets a bunch of gutlass bums. Everyone is being really hard on this team, and I have a theory that we're gonna get to tomorrow. And it's not just about my Mets. It's about whether or not you run it back sometimes or do you blow up a team like let's just say the Ravens somehow can't figure it out this year. Lamar's banged up and they missed the postseason. Let's just say that were to happen. Are you gonna really be like Harbaugh, You're out. We need to go Henry Lamar, We've blown up these contracts? No, because sometimes you just have to run it back and say this was a failure. Guys, what are we doing? So we're gonna get to that tomorrow as we do it live here Fox Sports Radio Studio. And if you ever wanted to try an Olympic or Paralympic sport try fencing. It's fast, safe and easy to start. Find the beginner class near you at USA Fencing dot org slash try Fencing. That's USA Fencing dot org slash try Fencing. I was Sam. Is there a picture of you that exists of you fencing? Oh? Man, I don't know, because we learned that Javier Sam has done this before. 00:35:24 Speaker 5: I have a t shirt, possibly in storage of my University of Io fencing club. 00:35:29 Speaker 1: But you get you a lot of girls. Huh, there he is. I was Sam, the fencer, sweaty under that equipment. Is he on the football team? No, he's a fencer. 00:35:36 Speaker 2: He's a swad fighter. 00:35:37 Speaker 1: Oh my god, Jessica, tell me about Sam. He's a fencer, all right. And this isn't just a game, it's once in a generational event. Have you guys ever seen the Harlem Globe Trotters. It is awesome. They're great. One hundred year tour. Come be a part of the legacy that never stops. Be there when history is made. The Harlem Globe Trotter is one hundred year tour. Get your tickets today at Harlem Globe Trotter's now tonight Double dooozy Jets and the Dolphins. I think the Dolphins just win based on their cool uniforms, but I don't know. That's not how things are played. You got the Dolphins at home favored by two and a half, which is your typical Vegas essentially your field goal points spread for the home team. Is this a statement game for either team? Dan Bayer, do you feel like Mike McDaniel shows that, hey, I got some juice left here, guys? Or is this where the Jets win? 00:36:32 Speaker 4: It's like miserable for all of the calling for Mike McDaniel, the game against Buffalo that he had in Week three where they were competitive, you would hope that they could carry that over. Tonight means a lot more for them. Like if the Jets lose again, it'd be a bad loss for Aaron Glenn. That'd be zero to four. You don't want to be winless. But it means a heck of a lot more for the Dolphins in terms of where they are. Well, they should win tonight. 00:36:57 Speaker 1: I know that pregames, speeches and hype could only get you so far. You know, sometimes they'll be like, yo, guys, it was a player only me only meeting and you expect that team to come out firing on all cylinders the next day and they live a flame egg. So I saw Tyreek Hill looking more fired up than I've ever seen Tyreek Hill. I don't know if you saw. They were showing a b roll on the field. Everyone's huddled around Tyrek Hill, his hand movements. He was going nuts firing up his team. So perhaps a quick start for the Dolphins tonight Jets Dolphins, and then Bengals Broncos. This should be a game that Denver sort of handles without Joe Burrow, and you know that they should put up some points against that Bengals defense, right Yeah. 00:37:39 Speaker 4: And it's gonna be a matter of if Jake Browning can hold onto the football and not turn it over. Like I don't expect the Broncos offense to be stopped because the Bengals really haven't shown that their defense is up to the task. So if Browning doesn't turn the ball over, then I think we could have a fun game. But otherwise, you know, I like Denver, even though it hasn't been a great start to them to their season. 00:38:02 Speaker 2: Last week's lost to the Chargers a tough. 00:38:03 Speaker 4: One, but they were kind of dominated in that game, So Denver better show up tonight. 00:38:07 Speaker 2: But if Jake Brown doesn't turn the ball over, Bengals could be in it. 00:38:10 Speaker 1: Here's what I like tonight. We've been doing these teaser bets, and the teaser bets I don't put in myself are usually the ones that win. So good for you, bad for me. These teaser bets, well, you take two games, two layers, and you play with six points. Here's what I like tonight. Broncos are favored by seven and a half. That hook might get you, but you know what, let's pull that down to Broncos minus one and a half. So Broncos just need to win by two at home. Should be a win for them. So Broncos minus one and a half and take the over under in the Jets Dolphins game and push it from forty three and a half to forty nine and a half and take the under. I mean, even though I just said Tyreek Hill might be fired up, I could see this game being at twenty to seventeen, twenty four to seventeen and that's still under. 00:38:53 Speaker 4: So justin fields back tonight for the Jets. No Torodd Taylor. Interesting to see if it will be more of the running affair for the Jets. I think there'll be some points in this game. So will there be forty nine and a half? I guess I'll see, So we'll lock that in. 00:39:08 Speaker 1: And by the way, as I said Mike McDaniels, I knew it was McDaniel. There's ones I always get wrong. Griffin or Griffith, I always get wrong. Is it Kathy Griffin or Griffith? Kathy Griffin? 00:39:19 Speaker 2: All right? 00:39:19 Speaker 1: Now the family guy, Peter Griffith, all right, baseball now, way now, I'm no, I'm doubting myself. Wait, Griffin, Peter Griffin, all right? Baseball manager is Peter Griffin and Kathy Griffin baseball coach Tony baseball manager Tony LaRussa right, yeah, karate kid Daniel. So these are the things that haunt me. All right, We'll see you guys tomorrow. Enjoy your double doozy Monday night football. We'll back here tomorrow. We'll talk some playoff baseball more NFL. Thanks for hanging until tomorrow. A riveadrecy baby in the promise laying goodbye later
