Hey, everybody, it's Friday. How you doing. Yeah, that's right,
real bicking back and beating bull today on the inaugural episode of BCR BombCast
Revengeance. That's right, yeah, John BombCast is now hitting you twice a
week on Tuesdays. Okay, no, yep, that's fine on Tuesdays and
Fridays. Now, Welcome to John BombCast Revengeance. I am your host,
Jana Choa joining me co captain of the ship Jeff Grubb hoighty ho I listen.
I'm afraid of the energy that we're bringing into this show, but that's
why I wanted to do it. I knew a late Friday podcast was gonna
be something different, and I'm just gonna sit back and let it happen.
I'm not gonna try to stop it. We got mister late Friday himself,
Jeff Bakalar. Hey, I'm Misster Friday. How's it going? Everybody glad
to be here. I'm not gonna lie BombCast on a Friday's freaking me out,
but I'm loving it. Speaking about I'm loving it. Connoisseur of all
things nuggets, whether they're chicken nuggets, gold nuggets, nuggets of wisdom,
Lucy James. Okay, I mean I would actually love some chicken nuggets.
So yeah, how's it going. It's going great, it's going great,
it's growing great. He will not be silenced except for this episode where we
can't figure out the soundboard privileges some more. Who's saying, I did everything
right and that would be very good poker. Yes, that's terrifying. Actually,
oh my god, oh fantastic. Well you're good at fighting games,
right, Like I know you were doing the thing with Justin, but like
when you were playing your friends, you usually got better than them. I
would imagine say that again. You're like bro Cup for like a second,
and I was like, I don't know what you're saying. Are you good
at fighting games? Yes? Yeah, that's what I was assuming, because
I think like a big thing with fighting games is like that poker mentality of
being able to like faint and do something different. I think you'd be very
good at that. Oh yeah, but the thing is with fighting games doesn't
quite you're not looking at their face, you look at the screen, but
the whole vibe, your whole aura. I think you can put off something.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I was good at
poker. As well for a while, we should we should have a poker
night. We should do poker night. Yeah, I'll be down for that.
But no actual stakes though, because bang is wrong. Oh for real?
What about if we did for chips that represent the currency? Does that
work around? If I if I have to give you money at any point,
you don't, but you have to buy these other things? What if
I said you and you just have to sign up five other people and that's
kind of the money We got left money on a table somewhere and then I
took it later on? Can what what about? We? Uh? We
we started a new website, call it tamu, and then that's how we
wind up making a pseudo pyramid scheme, just sending this. I don't trust
Sam, I don't trust tam oh. I guess gamblings haram. But like,
casting spells on your friends is totally cool. I'm allowed to cuss people
every night. I'm sorry, sorry, Like all right, but before we
get into what everyone stopped stop making fun of my culture and religion. Oh
no, oh, I wish, but you literally rose back? What did
you write? You said? Sorry, just a little voodoo for you.
I'm so glad backler exists to take these bullets, so I don't have to.
That's what he said. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. What happened?
Then? Yeah? Sure? So I had a hockey game last night and
Tam, what's that? Yeah? It turns out and Cam just wrote me
in the locker Wills in the locker and he goes, what's up, nerd?
I was like, Hey, what's up, Tammy baby? How's it
going? I'm about to get it on the ice? Is everything cool?
He said? I just want you to know that you're a nerd and I
love you. Enjoy the ice. I said, that's it. That can't
be it. He said, I just want you to know I'm thinking about
you. I said, well, that's not ominous at all. I think
about you a lot too, Sam. Can I read like the last text
message you sent to Wait, let's let him finish ye After this, I
go, I think I think about you all the time. It's mostly good
stuff. He goes, just doing some voodoo, you know, have a
nice game. Okay. Three hours later, Well you did it, Tam.
You put voodoo on my game and then I got into an argument with
a teammate in my locker room after the game. Thanks a lot. You
got into an argument about Mission Complete. We're not going to get into what
we were arguing about, but because it's not I kept saying that Trump did
nothing wrong and got the yad you want the wall now, don't you?
Yeah? So fuck it was and then you know, so I said look,
and then I told my friend. I said, look, this is
not our fault. This is my friend TAM's fault, for he has cursed
this locker room. So that's true story. Actually, thanks Tam. One
of the last texts that Tam has sent me before we talked about some work
jazz as he not is number one Naruto Baddie? Am I wrong? You're
not wrong? It just came out of nowhere. And then Emmy saw it
and she was like, is this what you guys talk about? It was
like no, no, no, no, no, we don't. We
don't anyway, No we do though, Ay, so welcome everyone BombCast for
vengeance. Why are we doing the show? Well, you know, I
just want an excuse to chat with my friends more. That's really the main
purpose. Sweet, these calm, these these chuckle fudge is. I was
sitting in a virtual room with me for at least another hour but sometimes we
can't talk about all the games on Tuesday because embargos are weird now. Sometimes
games come out later in the week that we may even miss on the regular
Bomb Cast. So we thought we'd have this to talk about more games,
maybe dive deeper into more games, perhaps a spoiler cast if several folks have
completed the game that we're all very impassioned about. But there will also most
of the time not be any news because grub will still be covering it on
Game as Mornings on Dregs Day. Also no emails, probably no shoutouts either,
but we will have a hot topic of the week. We have cabbled
together another fucking podcast. That's right, that's right with my friends. It's
great. Yeah, it's all about friendship. You decided it as like a
magazine, and I don't know why that made sense to me, And I
was just like, yeah, that's a grabular pop off. You were the
one that put it like that. Oh yeah, I saw that from Greg
Miller, so and we don't give him credit. Buck that guy. So
now I turned around on that. Yeah, it's uh yeah, basically you
and we're gonna have the BombCast still every week and that's gonna be what it
has been. But we don't take a time to be like, oh,
let's like take maybe a higher level view of what's happening in gaming. We
can get into those topics sometimes when we're having conversations, but there's not a
space for that, So we just dedicatable space aside, so we can have
fun conversations here and there, Like I imagine this podcast is where uh spoiler
casts can live. It is maybe where if we want to just argue about
the best game of a generation for like an hour one day, we could
do that here, that sort of thing down the line, game of the
year deliberations, warm ups really exactly. We're gonna get a little practice and
that hill. Yeah, yeah, I'm already anxious about a Game of the
year. Man, what what's what's so many there's so many good games game
of the year. We can't do that, do that? Oh okay,
I guess no, you can't give every game game of the year. It's
just not how it works. Okay, all right, all right, you
know, shoot, shoot your shot right now, all of us here what
is definitely not winning Giant bombs Game of the year Starfield Just okays of the
Kingdom knew you were gonna say it. I'm so curious because I think it's
like there's a strong chance it won't because there's so many things, like because
a different directions and now came out. Yeah, so I mean that moment
where we're boats in, I can't wait to see. There's a lot of
ship being talked right now, and honestly, it's fun. I don't think
the Kingdom chance he's gonna be hit so much sweeter when it does win.
Yeah. I think if I could just put on my prediction hat, I
feel like Dan's gonna you're wearing the same hat. You're wearing the same hat
back didn't put it on. Oh it was a slide of hand. You
guys all missed it. Yeah, I'm fast. I think Dan's gonna die
on that hill, and then I think there's gonna be I don't think he
will. What do you think he's gonna go after? I mean, I
think we do it. He's gonna put his he's gonna put his horses on.
Wonder and Alan wake more are maybe talking about even Armored Core six more
than Tiers of the Kingdom. I think I don't, dude, I'm gonna
call I'm gonna care rules, rules. It's tough to have this conversation now
though, you know, it's like, are they coming through the stream?
I hope, yeah, they are there. What game is definitely not getting
Game of the Year at Giant Bomb. Let me see if you see the
thing that would upset her as much as when she said Zelda, but Balder's
gay three? No chance? Am I right? Well, man, I
gotta before remake. That's the real one that doesn't actually have a chance that
Mike keeps saying it could make it this year, Honey, For me,
it's easily in the top Like, can I say something that probably won't get
into the top ten and here's the hot But what's up? So hi fi
rush? Oh that's like a recency bias thing, I think, But no,
I don't know. I'm exactly where janis. It's not recency bias.
I love that game. It's probably not gonna make my personal top five,
and I will be happy if it mix my top ten, but I don't
think it will. That's weird, that's fair. You're right, there have
been so many games. I've practiced my monologue five times this year. Oh
No, which which a nude team games that came out this year. I
don't know. Well, there's a different game that starts with a nude person
that's okay, fair enough. I don't think that. Oh I know that
one. That's a good one. Uh well, let's talk about some video
games. I have a list here, but you know what, I haven't
spoke to Tam and Lucy about any video games recently. What have you all
been playing? You gotta pick? You want to pick one? Oh,
me, me, I've been playing. You can probably guess exactly what I've
been playing. I'm playing Out of Wake two. Oh. Perfect, Well,
that's the game I have here. Wonderful we've all been playing. I
don't Wake to various degrees and that is a good ass game. I've not
finished it yet. I got like pretty far in for like review stuff,
and then end up traveling and doing some other business as well. And yeah,
I'm still I'm still making my way for it, but I'm taking my
time, which is something I'm trying to force myself to do a bit more
nowadays. Yeah, I've heard people say the game's a masterpiece and they they
love it. And I'm story where I'm where where people saw in the stream
the other day, and if you haven't seen the stream, I got to
basically the the Allen Wake experience beginning for real, like I think I was
going to start playing as him. I'm not saying that I don't enjoy this
game. I've enjoyed what I played so far. I just haven't seen the
things that have made people say what makes it a masterpiece? And I'm wondering
if it's seeing the guys can communicate in any way that like can encourage me
to keep going. I think I'm on board with this game now, but
anything you could say to be like, here's what you should be looking forward
to. Obviously without spoiling we're trying to avoid that. But you know,
I don't know, tell me what really is getting you guys at your motor
boat's going for this? I think you got to a point yesterday he was
making you motor boat out in Wake. Yeah, what's making you motor boat
the way? Who you mooting? And Ellen wakeame? No? I think,
Uh, I don't know if there's like a moment. I think there's
a lot of moments, but I don't think there's like the one thing that
kind of like opened my eyes wider than they were before. I think it's
a collection of a lot of different things. And I also think you I
don't know. I feel like at the end of the stream yesterday, Grubb,
you were at a point where you're like, Okay, I think you
seem to have a different Yeah, you're hooked. Yes, I just I'm
still not like I still don't understand what what people mean when they I'm curious
what Jen has to say about this. Uh. Michael Mahardy wrote an article
for a Pulligan recently about uh, the like the perfect fifteen minute sequence.
I believe that was Mike, right, that was you wrote that, Mike.
Uh. Sequence is called We Sing, We Sing. That's chapter four
of Alan Wakes. I think it's is that right where I'm about to start.
No, No, you are, You're a bit of ways from that.
Okay, Okay, you'll know when you get that, you will know.
And let me tell you it is one of the things I don't think
I've ever experienced in a video game, let alone thought had ever thought to
try and experience in a video game. And I think that's why a lot
of people are equating Alan Wake two to a masterpiece, because it is offering
such a fresh experience for a lot of players because you know, think not
to poop poo on Resident Evil for remake, you know, but please go
ahead. But it's the same, wet, goopy, gory game, not
the same, you know, a lot of improvements, an obscene amount of
improvements over the original Resident Evil four, but like all the bells and whistles,
all the tricks that they're pulling, all the smoke and they're all working
on overtime in Alan Wake two, and then after that chapter, it's just
like, all right, buckle the fuck up, let's keep going. Uh.
It's a I don't want to say a once in a lifetime, but
it's like a once in a every five years type of experience where there's so
many very ambitious games that come out Indie Triple A, Double A B game,
whatever else have you that may not hit the mark completely for everyone.
But I feel like if people just sit down and set aside some time to
play through this, a lot of people will be wowed and walk away thinking
like, holy shit, this is amazing because there are people so many dumb
ass people out there that think, like, man, games haven't been good
and how long now blah blah blah games are all the same. Well that's
not the fucking truth at all. Fucking go outside, buy Alan Wake two,
go back inside and continue playing. Uh I you do you think someone
could get the enjoyment from this game from watching a YouTube playthrough? That's what
I've heard, Like, oh, it, it needs to be a video
game. And again people saying this is not a video game. No no
no no no no no no. People are saying it needs to be a
video game to do what it does. And again I've not gotten to the
spits yet. Oh and so, so my experience has been I walk through
the woods, I'm I come to a cabin. I need to go get
a fuse, put it in this thing. Now the light's on. I
go inside a house, like that's the game I'm playing, And I still
see, Yes, I see that there are vague mysteries along the periphery that
I need to explore more deeply. But but what I've done so far has
been like, maay, I'm playing a video game that's pretty familiar in a
lot of ways, and so I'm just like waiting for it to open up.
I think I do get the idea it's going to open up soon,
but I'm just like still looking for what that is. This is a lot.
I just feel like, Hey, I don't think i've hit this point
that Mike and you are talking about jan So I'm very excited about this,
I don't. I think this is so amazing because it does uniquely work as
a video game, and I think we were all lamenting the idea of like
probably gonna be an HBO show at some point. I think there's a lot
of just I don't know. I think the game element of this allows it
to be so many different things, right, which is really fun. It
allows it to be a movie, It allows it to be a game,
It allows it to be so many other wear so many other hats, and
believe me, I know a thing or two about fucking hats. Yeah,
he just changed to another hat right now. I think I think there's an
element of it feeling familiar because it's stuff that Remedy has been doing to various
degrees in other games that to different levels of success. I feel like everything
nothing in Hair feels new to Remedy, although it does feel uniquely Remedy,
like no one else is doing live action in their games as far as I
can tell because Remedy has been doing it for a while now, especially since
Quantum Break. Definitely during a lot more Control and Alan Wake two, it
doesn't feel fresh. The thing about it that's different here is like, this
is the game where they figured out the perfect ratio, the way to make
it meaningful, the way to make it interesting, and not like represent it
as the same old gimmick from previous years. It feels like in the previous
years it could have been argued as a this is a gimmick, This is
a gimmick that they're just adding to a very plain game otherwise, but that
in hindsight, within the context of Alan Wake. Now it's them clearly experimenting
and figuring out how they can push the envelope for how they present games and
how the medium itself is delivered to us. And this feels like the first
time where they figured out, we've we understand how to blur the line between
video game, movie, book, album, like all that kind of stuff
is everything is This is the everything game in a way that doesn't feel like
a shitty like you know, marketing scheme. This is the game where they
were like, we know how we can make live action work within this game,
and they don't over commit like they did in Quantum Break and make it
twenty minute long, you know, sequences, they have like all this stuff
in perfect balance. I feel like, and that's what makes this game special.
Yeah, I know a lot of folks really were gushing, and I
enjoyed Immortality a lot. That came out last year, twenty twenty two,
right, and you know, a complaint with that game was you stopped feeling
like a game after a while, right, you was just point click adventure
type of thing in piecing together the mystery, and then felt a little bit
cumbersome afterwards. But like here, like what Tam said, like this is
the perfect combination of game live action, watching it, exploring it, and
feeling it. And then I think the story bits kind of I don't want
to speak for everyone here, but like I'm a bad YouTuber, you know,
creative, and there's like a weird darkness that comes to that or pressures
that come to that, and I feel like this game really explores those themes
incredibly well. Of feeling overworked, feeling like you've hit a block, and
like you haven't really changed over the last couple of years, but really embracing
the ability to adapt and to make something new. Yeah, I haven't gotten
to any of the Allen Wake stuff, and I think that's where the themes
are really gonna be clashing against what's happening with Sagas. So I'm looking forward
to that. And I mean to speak to what Tam was saying. I
think that they aren't gimmicks. They're tools, and they're being wielded by a
team that is feeling very confident about how to use these tools to convey meaning
and ideas and story and gameplay to the player. And I think the Mind
Place is is a very good example of that. It's right in your face,
but they give me these multiple new ways to not just interact with the
story, but reinteract with the story. They're they're presenting these things in the
world as you explore them, and now let's go, let's retreat to the
mind Place and let's reinforce all these things. So you know what matters?
You know, Nintendo does that by like in a Zelda game, they highlight
the word like that matters in the whole sentence and it's like that one's red,
So pay attention to that. I'm like, Okay, that's that's nice
that you're doing that, but that doesn't really it's not really effective. This
feels much more effective, but it's like, let's make it cool to actually
learn what we're trying to tell you what this game is about. And the
game is very good at that. So that's the stuff that keeps pulling me
through where I'm like, I am curious about these mysteries, and you're giving
me the tools that I need to to engage with them and remember them and
and actually feel like I have a good grasp on what's happening. Uh,
how do you How do you guys feel about folks that are a little too
spook to play through it? Do you think watching like roll Hey, I'm
glad Tam said it not made Jesus Christ play with the lights on? What
can I tell you? Uh? I feel like I'm descends into is to
yeah, I don't know it. I was going to say, I'm yeah,
I was playing it in the dark and lights off. There's a lot
of jump scar stuff and when you die the game over screen is pretty inting.
It is for sure. It's you know, I res remake and I'm
just such a crooked abuse thing I find it reson before remake is I feel
kind of the opening like with Resident Evil, that's when it's the Bible horror,
and then it just goes on to the dumb all out action. Yeah,
there's a level of camp there too that I think kind of somehow skirts
around. Yeah, it has like the small town humor stuff, but it
holds onto this to the weird scary stuff all the way through, I think.
But then again, I was watching I'm very desensitized to that stuff.
So yeah, I think I've become more sensitized recently in my life where I
know, since I had kids, I'm always on of like thinking about potential
threats to them, ways they can hurt themselves, and i'd like live in
that zone twenty four to seven. And I think that makes me very like
I'm an exposed nerve of just like if there's a little bit off, I'm
going to be feeling it. It's all right under the surface. So I
found that spooky games, spooky movies have been making me more stressed out in
the last couple of years. And I want to play these games. I
want to enjoy them with everyone else. And I'll say that it's if you're
too smook it. Really it's exposure therapies kind of all that works. You
have to just run right out the scary thing the first. If you are
scared in a scenario of the music's starting to play up, if you know
a bad guy's going to be around around the corner, really the best thing
to do is run right at them, Go get spared, Go let it
just happen. And then now you know what the threat is. And that
has immediately desensitized me in a lot of these situations or helped lessen that feeling.
So I do I do that. I do wonder if it's people looking
at anan Wick and going, oh, this is a survival horror game,
it doesn't and thus it means it's spooky. I will not play this instead
of actually playing it, because I think I was going to say, like
it it's not scary, it's unsettling, and it's like quite atmospheric. I
don't I wouldn't describe it as like being things that you would be like,
oh my god, I can't look at the screen anymore, and I feel
like a few months of that where you're like peaking. I was going to
say, is you have some degree of control in that moment, Like you
it's not like, yeah, you have some quantum break in the game as
well. Yeah, I feel like if you if you like I was just
about to say, I was just about I was just about to say,
like, if you can, if you're careful, you can control the max
pain that you've seen. But but like, yeah, in a moment,
it's never there's never quite a jump scare outside of the when you die and
it does the weird like that kind of shit. But like I've if you're
it feels like it's pace in a way where if you can usually sense when
something's about to happen and you can have that moment where you take a minute
breathe kind of work your way up to it and then go for it.
I think like if you're just if you're like, oh, this is scary.
This is a scary game. That's not for me. I mean,
like, if you just don't like those games, then whatever, do it.
But if you're like, I really want to play this game, but
I think it's too scary, maybe give it a try, because it's not
as terrifying as you might imagine. This one to play on Discord with friends,
I had Sean for the podcast the other night, and I just shared
my stream with them and they were just kind of talking me through it,
and I was totally fine in that scenario. I like that idea playing it
with friends, especially now over discord that I think that's a beautiful idea.
I think, look, if you make it past that first fifteen minutes,
like, I think you could probably hang Yes, yeah, I think that's
right. Yeah. Yeah. Now, what I was going to say is,
folks that may feel the pressure of a survival horror game, just bump
it down to story. It's complete. Yeah, you get plenty of resources.
It can still be challenging. It doesn't affect the puzzles or anything.
Doesn't really affect your enjoyment of the story. Game knows. I suck anyway,
During that first boss, it's like, don't worry, I'm gonna spoon
feed you this guy on a silver platter. Don't worry. Uh, tam,
How far are you are? You almost near the end? You think?
I think I'm doing the thing where I like, I'll do a little
bit of one path and then a little bit of the other, and I'm
going back and forth, and I think I'm like most of the way through
Alan's stuff. Okay, and I've done a bunch of Saga stuff. I'm
at a bit now with Saga stuff that I've done before, so I'm kind
of not avoiding it, but I'm like, I want to see all the
new stuff first. Wait, hang on, you're at this stuff with Saga
stuff that we played in LA. Yeah, the very early stuff. Oh
you've got lots of go Yeah, yeah, I know. But I'm like
I'm doing I've done almost all of Alan's stuff. I think most of the
way through. I think Saga stuff. Is it long? Yeah, it
can't get super long because of the exploring to the side. Yeah. Yeah,
I loves this game, Like I guys, I just I haven't felt
like this in so long. I just want everyone to know that. Well,
okay, Like I actually wanted to talk about that. It's a big
deal for you. Were like, yeah, this is my bucket list year
baby. Like you say that, Like, I don't. When I asked
you before, you said it was all of the things it's doing work together
in conjunction. That's the explanation, right, That's that's my explanation. But
you know, I think I got into it very specifically on BombCast the other
BombCast on Tuesday, where yeah, right, the nonvengeans it's actually called non
prevengece now, uh, where you know a lot of the points to made
were like, I do think there's a special uniqueness to this game's narrative,
Chops, that it feels so refined and so well tuned that I am enjoying
it from every angle that you can possibly do it where you are playing,
you are watching, you are experiencing, exploring, and it's just my shit,
man, Like I love scary, spooky stuff and if you can do
it in a way that has me so excited that it shares cannon across games
and is just like and again, I compared it a little bit to Resonie
before and Jane you touched on this as well, where like we saw very
much what Survival Horror looked like thirdy however long ago I twenty years ago,
right, and now where you're like, holy fuck, this is what we're
doing in twenty twenty three and it looks like this and it feels like this,
and that is so like overwhelmingly positive to me that I almost get teary
eyed over like how much I love being in that sort of space. It's
it's it's like that. This is why I'm curious, because I'm bouncing between
those two games right now because I got an idiot friend who go, Madi
me if I don't play Receivle. So I'm playing Flat as well and UH
and it's like i'm playing that, I'm like, oh, Dan, this
is shooting. Oh that feels good. That's a good feeling video game that's
got the juice over there and resonable for uh. And and then I come
back to town and Wake and I'm like, it's got juice in everything else.
It's just it's not trying to be an action game in any way.
Resivul four was trying to straddle that line a little bit. So I'm like,
I'm hoping I get to the to where you're at. And there's nothing
that's like saying that that won't happen. But I'm like, I'm just really
hoping that. I want that for me. I really want that for me.
You'll get there. I think you'll get there. I think, like,
you know, I don't know. I also think like there is a
certain level of like isolation and attention. I have to give a game like
this too. I have to like enter the zone. I have to get
into the into like the you know this, get the juice zone right where
like you create the environment maybe a lot, a couple of candles, you
know, and I just I just like ease myself into that hot tub and
then I'm in to Alan. What if I what if I played in front
of my wife the way I'm doing? Well? Yeah, And because I
bet if she was like right there, like getting into it, I'd be
like showing it off would be like really fun. I might try that because
sharing the story with other people has been fun so far. That's been a
very special part of this for me, Like seeing like watching her like laid
like watching it laying down and then like go up like this and just being
like what the fuck is really cool and I take ownership of it. I'm
like, see, I did this game. I did this game. I'm
showing like I'm showing it to you, but I well, I neve this
to you. I serve this to you. You're welcome. Uh, Folks,
anyone playing anything else besides Alan Awake two or anything specifically you want to
talk about, I do wonder Uh damn, I know you've been playing Super
Mario Brothers. Wonder, Lucy, did you give it a try? I
know you enjoyed it at packs, but I also know Mario is not really
your thing. Have you had time for it? You said Mary is not
her thing the UK where there wasn't Nino didn't exist. I didn't know that.
I didn't know that it wasn't your thing. That's okay. I just
had never heard you said that. I never heard you say that. Okay,
the way back at you about it. We're learning a lot about each
other. John, you brought us together. You didn't tell us it was
a fucking therapy session of offline. So no, I haven't played it yet.
I did record FPS last night and the boys were like, you should
play it, and Gerard was really also saying how much he enjoyed the demo
for Super Mario, like RPG and everything. So I really I want to.
I want to get into it. I think I'm gonna do like Christmas
Christmas time because right now I'm going to be going back to the UK for
a little bit. I want to do. Is the World of Horror?
Yeah, yeah, kind of inspired weird asking, I don't know, it's
like a text yeah kind of thing. Yeah, So I've got that queued
up, and then after that, I'm gonna go into like a Dragon Guiden
and then yeah, man, I'm so excited, and yeah, we're gonna
have like Christmas breakup. But I mean, yeah, I feel like seems
like a good holiday game for sure. Well, those are the things I'm
going I'm going to get my niece's a switch for Christmas, and I'll get
the one with Mario and love how you say that name Mario? Yeah,
And so I said to it was like, what if I gave them the
Christmas present early and set it up and you know, we get to play?
And you were gunning for cool Aunt, don't you. Well, if
I don't live on the same continent, I've got to be the cool Aunt
the only way I know how, and that's money games, baby games.
Well apparent Yeah, Apparently they're very into Sonic because they've been watching The Car
Happens, and they're very into Mario because they watched the movie. I've I've
also been playing The Cavern of Dreams, which is a new indie platformer that
is basically trying to be an N sixty four game. You play it's like
a little Lizard guy. Yep. Nice one. That's one, but it
was just that woo here this one, I don't know, Reggie, I
don't know it was gonna call him Roger. Yeah, it's a it's really
neat. But and I like these throwback indie platformers, especially once they are
trying to be like the three D platforms from the N sixty four with like
one of my favorite eras of platformers. Uh. And it's got this really
cool momentum system where you play us this little lizard who can roll. And
if you start the role from standing, it's going to be kind of the
slow moving around kind of an awkward thing. But if you like jump into
it and then you hit the ground as you're about like you hit your attack
right before you hit the ground, you then can roll into it really hard
and then you can carry that momentum forward. And there was like this big
gap that I was trying to jump across, and it's very early in the
game. It's like a tutorial sort of skill check at gait and getting across
there. I just couldn't hit it, couldn't quite hit it. And then
once I really got in the flow of jumping up hitting this attack right before
I hit the ground, rolling into the role and really feeling that. It's
like, oh, this feels really good. It's like a skill based three
D platformer in a really cool way. And I think it's a good looking
game. I just it's always so tough with these, like are they going
to have the interesting level design to carry it through an entire game? And
that's tough. But I don't think it's some huge, massive thing. And
this is from a guy that's done a bunch of these, so kind of
having a little snack of a three D platform every once in a while,
it was pretty cool. Okay. Yeah, Cavern of Dreams is what that's
called. Love a little snack, Love a little snack. Video games get
me hungry, baby. Uh. Before before we go to break here and
get to the hot topic of the week, I just want to go around
the room and see what everyone's strategy is for tackling and preparing for game of
the year. Yeah. It's a good, good, good topic in itself,
because I feel like I'm oh, man, we shall have training montages.
Uh. I feel like I am gonna have to try and lock myself
into streaming at night in my own time to force myself to finish stuff what's
the what's the what's the top tier? Top priority for you, Jane,
I feel like I gotta give Balder's Gate three another college try. I'm playing
it on on the Roger ally and it's it's running pretty good on there now,
and I'm I'm I'm into it, but I'm I keep bumping up against
just not really knowing what I'm doing occasionally or being out of my depth.
And I ran it to this guy Anders and he's level five and my characters
are all level two, and I'm like, should I be where I'm at?
I get the feeling I shouldn't be. The game makes me feel bad
for running away from this fight, but I'm gonna run away from this fight.
And then I went down the street and there was like a bunch of
wolf men and they were also way too high levels. So I'm like,
Okay, I'm not supposed to go this way either. I'm just getting crushed
everywhere I go. So I'm like, I'm gonna have to sort of sneak
out of this place, go do some more level appropriate stuff, and then
come back. But every time I do have a conversation with anyone, and
every time I'm rolling the Dice. I'm like, oh, there's so much
possibility here. It really is my kind of games. So I'm into it.
And that's the game that's number one for me as well, Jan That's
the one I want to play the most. I think my problem is all
not the rest of the games that I want to tackle and try and finish
this year. They're all fucking RPGs. Hey, oh wait, let's not
talk about RPGs, Lucy, Lucy, I agree with you, dog,
but like they take too long. I'm digging Star Ocean, Second Story r
whatever the heck we're calling it. It's gorge. I think the game Freak
should steal this make other Pokemon remakes look like this, because it's absolutely amazing.
But it's a long lead up Stars. I was just abant to bring
up Sea of Stars. That's when I really want to play. Put it
on the back of ark Tam Lucy. Any any strats for tackling preparing.
I'm just gonna panic, uh, you know, as usual, panic and
try and play everything I possibly can. There's uh, there's like one or
two gigantic holes in my h gaming year that I should probably address. Street
Fight Er six. You no, I played that played that, Yeah,
played like bits of it. It's really boulders Gate. I didn't even touch
that ship. I don't even know exactly what it is. I've just been
nodding and asking generic questions to assume that I appear that I'm interested. You're
just helping it, like like we'll pass you by. You can help it,
just wash it over. And I just don't have to, like it
shouldn't be an issue, you know, it seems unimportant. But uh yeah,
so I need to do that. I also need to play. I
started Cocoon and I really dug what I played, and I feel like,
yeah, oh and the other one, so okay, so if it's only
four I'll get through that at some point. I got nothing going on,
right, and then Cyberpunk. I want to do more cyberpunk. Oh yeah,
you should finish that. That's great. Yeah, so I have two
long haul flights coming up. I'm in the middle of buying like a big
do never have a recommendation for a good remote battery that I can use.
I saw one that's anka Yeah, well I haven't anchor, but this one
it plugs in and uh so you can use it as a wall plug,
but it charges it as it plugged in. That's clever. I like the
sound of that a lot. I might buy that one. But if anyone
has any other recommendations, I would love to hear it. Its good ship.
I mean I've got one right here, but this this boy is old
heavy. Sure, yeah, just get a newer boy, and like the
battery capacity will last you a little longer, and make sure it has like
the bandwidth to like charge your ally and switch or whatever. Maybe what you're
gonna it's I think maybe look for about one hundred watt output. That's probably
what you want. Yes, if possible, let's but most us yes,
USB C power Delivery p D. If it has USB CPD, then you're
probably gonna be okay. But if you can get up that eighty one hundred
watt range so that actually does charge relatively quickly, then you'll be good.
Sweet Yeah, because I have I obviously have like an in in seat,
you know, right, want to train? Yeah? Yeah, totally.
Before we move on, is there, like the outside the obvious ones we
mentioned, is there a game that you hope other people play before we get
the Game of the year Dredge? That's a good okay, Should I go
back to that. Okay, cool, that's the one I'm gonna do.
And I think, yeah, Jane, I think in particular, you will
really enjoy think you Hammond of Texas with sending that link, David Diver.
Yeah, also and Team I've been playing a lot scenarios is great good.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it's fun. I feel like you
you'll figure out whether or not you like that game in maybe like two hours.
Yeah, I'm really I'm really stoked for Tallas Principal too. Yeah.
I don't know anything about this. It it's just puzzle games many right,
it's a solve the album. Yeah, is that what we landed on calling
those things? I can't remember, but that's like the first persons. The
problem is is that it makes me Rea sick. Yeah, I could see
that, So I adding to my list Thirsty. If you tried playing try
playing Talents Principle on the Roger ally it might help with the because you're like,
yeah, yeah, I playing it in third person two will be will
definitely help. I haven't played El Paso elsewhere yet. I know a lot
of people really enjoyed that good Bye Volcano High came out. I'm just looking
at my Steam. I'm like, good bye Volcano High came out this year.
Yeah, I think I have that my Steam too, and I never
do anything with it. See Skylines too. That one's in rough shape,
so I think we're going to be safe on that one until they do some
updates. Yeah, great shape. Yeah. The one that I that's definitely
in my top three still that I would like to get some love, but
I know it's it's Unlikely's pickment four. I think it's true, Pie,
It's truly very very good. It's it's my first full pickment. I enjoy
it a lot. I might go back into it. I should go back
into it. Did you play tiny Kin from last year? I did not
like tiny Kin? Oh that's right. That's the thing I hate about you
Jam other than my other than my crippling gambling addiction and coffee addiction and an
ass that just won't quit. Wow. Wow, This truly is a therapy
session. That two games. I going off that tip that gre mentioned blasphemous
two All right, huh, it's it's a really good metroid Vania. It
makes me confront all of my catholic guilt, which is fun. Oh ship,
Okay, Catholic metroven that boys. Yes, oh ship ship, I
just typed something and it's gone. Can you promise me to play that?
You will play Where's Where past It? Modern Warfare three on it? Yes,
Yes, I'm gonna play Humanity. Yes, I've been trying to think.
You played that with my kid and had to answer a lot of upsetting
existential question. It's just on the PlayStation, I think. Yeah, he's
like, where are they going? Where are all these people going? I'm
like, I don't know, but we don't have that question. All right,
I'm downloading Humanity right the second, which is probably gonna ruin my podcast,
but oh well, it's worth it. Wow, I'm just suddenly reminded.
Yeah, I'm suddenly reminded that there's an obscene amount of video games that
I've still yet to even touch, and it makes me sad inside. Oh
boy, oh boy. Almost here's the good news. We just got to
get down to twenty and then we just vote and then you just pick your
favorite. Well, yeah, here's the thing, you know, with the
staff, with the team we have, I feel like we cover a wide
net of games that I feel like the twenty we get down to, I
feel confident that those are the twenty best games of the year. Also,
we're all super fucking smart and said, I feel confident. I'm just going
through like puberty again. You know. The scard thing is it was actually
hard to cut some games out of the top twenty last year. It was
so I think it's actually going to be a bloodbath this year. Four.
It's going to be three or four games left out that are gonna be like,
oh, that's that hurts people asking what the mic is going to be,
including delations is absolutely no. No Cam will quit if he is.
He said it multiple times. We can't have someone with opinions that bad.
I'm just so it was too easy. Someone else hear that. That was
really cool. I just thought that was like a new door bell I had
or something, just like, wait, everything right, and they indicted me
and we're going to take a quick break and then we'll be back with our
hot topic. That's right, we're over here. It's next to the food
court. Time to go get your funko pops, anime T shirts, selective
wrestling memorabilia, and weird body piercing jewelry because we're at the hot topic today.
Hell yeah, man, I wait, someone could have a horned Wait
wait wait, we're at the hot topic today. Hell yeah, it makes
it better that the horn is just like again, I got that one.
I'll go about one. Okay, all right, we're at the hot topic
today, solving crimes. That's right. We put a wait, wait one
more time, do one more time. Okay, we're at the hot topic
today, fat ass white girled. My that's more like it. Hey,
you know, depending on the type of I'm not trying to get canceled today,
I'm not trying not to get jo canceled. God, you know,
I've been rewatching community lately, and I realized I'm just like, I'm Ken
Jong's character and the fucking Deans inserting my knee into virtually everything. But people
who do that the fucking worst. Yeah earth, yeah wow. Anyway,
Okay, hot topic. Uh, the hot topic we decided hot topic.
Uh. Shouts out to Jim gaffickan bits from twenty years ago. We've chatted
about this for quite a while on the website, and I thought, what
better time than to just start a whole new podcast besides conning my friends spending
more time with me, is to talk about why, potentially is this switch
the best console ever. No, oh all right, well open it?
Yeah quick, you got no, Okay, this Switch is a fantastic console.
Don't get me wrong, but it is a fantastic console basically for Nintendo
on Fortnite and Minecraft. If you want to play any other Triple A game,
the worst player to play is on the Nintendo Switch. Well, the
Triple A games aren't going on there. Yeah, a bunch of one like
U you know you've got They stream a bunch of stuff like Control was on
that apparently coming to it. Yeah, overwatches on the Apex is on there,
but they're the worst versions of those games. And so that's why the
PC is the best consopt Well wow, okay, wow PC. I'm a
PC person, but PC is not a console. Okay, Well, in
that case, the best console sixteen. See, I think I'm with Lucy
in everything she has said the last five minutes. I will say that Jeff
sixty is a special one. I just the switch line up, like,
yeah, you could just say just Nintendo games, that's like twenty of the
best games ever made in the last sixty six or seven years and play Elden
Ring on the well, fuck elemen Ring. I mean listen. Okay,
elder Ring was the woad. Okay, that's what that was. Actually,
did you don't you've played your cards? Imagine you put the whole monologue on.
I don't worry about it. So okay, Yeah, in Triple A
Games, that's going to be the big slide against the Switch. But I
play a lot of indie games. I play way more indie games that I'm
playing Triple A Games, not just now but for many years now. I
played eighty ninety hours of Dead Cells on there and that was amazing. I
played one hundred and fifty hours of Hades on there and that was amazing.
And there's twelve thousand games on the Switch and a lot of it's ship but
a lot of it's actually pretty good. I mean what this is, Oh,
there's a lot of shit on all consoles, Like you go there,
Yeah, but like that many games getting released, you're gonna be able to
go in there and just explore and find some gems. But really it does
come down to I think those Nintendo games have been on a real high tag.
Yeah, they've been on like strength to strength, and starting in twenty
seventeen with Mario Otissey, one of the best games ever made, and Zelda
of what's the first one called the Breath of the Wild. Yes, and
then and then a really good Mario Kart game, not maybe arms, but
like every year sentence had at least one or two pretty good ones. And
then we're in twenty seventeen we have Pickman four, another Zelda, and now
Super Mario Brothers Wonder and it's just like, man, that's a really really
strong lineup. If we're comparing first party can get games. I do think
there's a really strong argument for the switch, but I'll agree the weakness that
probably is the third party, right, And I think that's what you have
to consider when we're talking about this, right, Yes, yeah, of
course in a vacuum like, yeah, I think it's the best. I
think it's the best Nintendo console ever. Sure, that's easy. That's easy.
I think that's pretty easy. I think you have to look at the
fact Lucy brought up backs Box three sixty, literally a console where every single
one they made originally broke, Hey Bose, break Coon drift. I wonder
if you know, right, so there's that too, But every single Xbox
three sixty was defective. I'm not joking. That's true, don't never know.
That's exactly what happened. A billion dollar right off. I feel like
people are very, very very understanding the PlayStation to today. We'll get there.
There is not even a competition. It's fine, it's fine. I
can also change my vote. But I think I think there is an I
know it's fleeting. I think there's a an amazing legacy moment where you're like,
god, damn, that was a broken console and it still has this
legacy that is like almost impenetrable. I think that because that's when it made
playing games with other people, and that's just playing games with other people being
go on your friends list and see what everyone else is playing. And for
those first couple of years, it was like everyone's just playing Oblivion, and
then everyone's playing the next game, and then everyone's playing the next game at
the same time, and that making you feel like you were part of something
was pretty magical at the time. And so yeah, that stuff, I
don't think it's ever been better than the Xbox three sixty. When it comes
to we have we have, we already moved past the idea. Here's what
here's what I want to say. Add to that, I think if the
Switch is not the best console ever, which I'm still on defense of saying
whether or not it is, I think it joins fuck, god, damn.
It's another wrestling analogy, the short list. He joins that list of
pillars in uh, the mountain, Sure, the mount rushmore. Where Like
when I fondly think back the last couple of generations, I think of the
three sixty, I think of the PS two. I think a couple of
years from now we will think of the Switch in that same case. Sure,
I think I think we can all agree that no one is going to
be saying the PlayStation three. Nope, exactly right, the PlayStation is real.
Miss. What is what is the topic that you wrote down? Is
the Switch the best console ever? Okay? That is the question that when
you answer it's in top five, it's a yes or no, yes or
no, and the answer is no, no, yes, no. I
mean like it is. It's it's a good console, like it's a good
handheld device. It's got some good games on it, but it was like
immediately outclassed by everything around it. I feel like the idea of a good
console is you have to also factor in the fact that owning a switch also
makes you incredibly envious of literally everyone else around you who has anything else,
because you're like, I can't play that I can't play, that I can't
play, that I can't play that you have. The switch is like I
remember when it first came out, everyone was like, you get a console
and then switch on top to like to be you play the Nintendo games.
And I feel like that is why it can't be the be all end all.
I love my Switch, but I am playing Nintendo games on it and
nothing else. It can't implementary Kendo console. I don't think that can make
it a like any other console in history, makes a better case for owning
it on its own, even like the GameCube, which had a real rough
goal of it, I would say, has a better case to make for
owning a GameCube and nothing else than the Nintendo Switch does. Well, that's
the that is the set of characters that you are judging them by, right,
Yeah, Because for me, I get the it's the being INDIAUS thing.
I get when people say that, but I don't feel that at all
with my switch because my switch just fits with how I play games so much
that it's like it's not on the Switch. I'm good, I'm I'm hanging
out, I'm laying on my bean bag, I'm gonna play some games before
we're going to bed. I can play a little bit in bed and getting
on the TV and making a night of it. I'm past that in a
lot of ways where it's just like it's these games, especially if it's gonna
be a familiar game or familiar genre or something like that. And that's why
where the Switch is like, Okay, we're gonna make it easy for games
to fit in your life and they can come to you wherever you're at,
whether that's whether you're traveling or at in the house and you're want to sit
with your family while they're watching TV or whatever. Uh. And so that's
that goes a long way for the form factor for me. But but then
you know, I win a game is on there, and I will admit
I'm not playing a lot of the Triple A games on there that do get
ported. I played a little bit of The Witcher, but that was years
after it came everywhere else, so that hardly counts, and it always is
a worse experience. But there are so many good games on the Switch that
have that don't even factor into that arithmetic like that that it It's never even
really occurred to me as a problem. I'm playing the Switch constantly and have
been for six or seven years straight now, so I just don't feel that
at all. How you getting on with the online stuff on this one,
So that's I I agree with Grub a good chunk of it, except for
the nintend Switch Online service, where it is very lackluster. I flipped my
shit when they announced that they'd be adding Game Boy Advance games to it,
and to this day, I don't think we have that many still. At
least we don't have the ones that I would consider as like part of the
canon of the GBA, like if they had thrown in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.
I'd be down with grubs saying that this is the best console ever because
I have that opportunity to play this game all over again, and now there's
other people that also have this opportunity to play that game all over again.
Grubb, you were about say about the online stuff, Yeah, I mean
it's bad, especially when it comes to any sort of trying to communicate with
your friends. They're like, use this app, and that app is a
joke. It's a fucking joke. It's really bad. You know. I've
had good online experiences on the Switch, but most recently with Wonder, and
like I said, I think I said this this morning, and that's the
exception that proves the rule with Nintendo online stuff. Obviously they can do better,
and they just haven't. They just haven't because look at this game.
It's a perfect online game. There's literally nothing wrong with how the online works,
and that in fact, almost every game should be copying what Super Mario
Brothers Wonder is doing. And that's obviously copying a lot how from software games
work like that, but they've made it makes sense in a in a family
game. But every other game is like their biggest online games, Super Smash
Brothers Ultimate. People don't play that online. People who love that game don't
play it online because the online is so bad. So and that's an argument
that really does appeal to me when I hear that, it's like other systems
have figured that out and you're taking that forward or established it like the Xbox
three sixty did I think when it comes to the online stuff Xbox three sixty,
when it comes to the Library PS two, I do I think that's
probably where the argument probably should be happening. So I still maintain that it's
not the best. Yeah, it's not think it's not it. I've got
one recently and it's great. Pretty What what if we did a either a
top five or a mount rushmore? How many faces are on the rushmore?
As many as you want? This full faces? That's before I guess Sun
Diamonds and so yeah, it's another and uh and and jojo, all right
listen and then one can babe. I think it's I think it's okay.
So we're saying yes, being there right, let me get this out of
my brain real quick. I feel like there. I feel like the Switch
hasn't completely reached its full potential because of it doesn't have much time left well,
and I don't think it will. I don't think it will because of
Nintendo kind of putting itself in both camps of wanting to be a home console
wanting to be a handheld. There's not enough stuff for the Switch to be
a modern handheld device that's fun. Like. I think it'd be completely different
if there's street Pass available on it or some type of like more mobile friendly
online games, which the Switch is just not built for it, and it's
also not built to be like a home console that you just leave plugged into
the TV. So you're not saying that it hasn't reached his full potential.
It has reached his full potential. It's just that it's potential, isn't ye
fun. Yeah, they can go to different it can't reach potential it doesn't
have. Yeah, they can't go to Namik and talk to the old Namechian
and have him touch his forehead and just yeah. I if you're like looking
for the era of like what they did with the DS and especially the three
DS, yeah I could see that, but I don't know that was for
me a time and place thing. The Switch is trying to be a very
different comp sold in that. Uh So, Jen, I'm gonna need you
and I'm gonna need you to say it, whether it is or isn't the
greatest console of all time, say it in full it same way. What
is I want to hear what you think is? Okay, the Nintendo Switch
is not the best console of all time? There it is there, it
is, folks. The Xbox three sixty is can we throw can we throw
in? Handouts? Handouts? Like handout consoles. I guess, I guess,
I mean because I would probably put the DS up there in the in
that Mount Rushmore if well, I think we have like I think we have
a solid three right, Like I think we have switched PS two and three
sixty and then it's like, oh, what's that four spot? And are
we charitable? What we've got PS two switch sixty and sixty, which is
nice? Everyone's represented there like the Big Three? What about the Steam Deck?
Then? If we true, do you want everyone to know we can't
do very consolely though? We can't do it's all the consoles open. It's
a piece, it's a piece, feels like it's a Superintendo. I do
feel like it's a Superintendo. When yeah, I mean I think I think
you're I think you're probably right. He says that first in the song as
well. Yeah he does, he does Genesis getting over whatever, Okay,
any anything else that could go in there, though, anyone have anything else
that they would want to put in there? I mean those Tiger electronic handhelds
that they pass out happy meal. I was gonna say maybe the original Antis,
but I mean a Dream cost with a boot disc. Sure, Yeah,
well, I mean d S three d S I would probably back for.
Actually, yeah, yeah, that's a good day. The DS.
I think it is the good one because it has a game Boy Advanced Cartridge
slot in there, which should count. So you write all of the game
Boy Advanced library and and the DS fucking rules clever girl. It has a
Switch like library in terms of a ton of games coming out, and a
lot of the Nintendo stuff was very good, stuff like Dragon Quest nine was
amazing on there, and I don't know, Elite Beat Agents Jesus Christ.
Yeah, there's so many good games on this. I think the appeal of
the DS is that Nintendo is able to reach peak weirdness. Yeah, in
a way that like a lot of people are able to finally digest. Like
Phoenix Right came out on the DS first r Latin America, in the United
States. In the United States. Oh man, I like this. I
like where this is how I want them, This is how do we drop
the Super Nintendo for it? Yeah, I think with that is like the
switch. While you know, the Nintendo Switch Online is in his robust A
lot of those Super Nintendo games pop up in the collections and stuff like that.
You can play them on the switch, and so it's like this this
huge library sort of thing that really kind of overpowers that for me, and
so I'd like I would keep the switch on there, put the DS on
there, PS two, Xbox three sixty, and wrap it up. So,
you know, I think that putting the DS on there is a good
shout because the DS offered a lot of very specific experiences that you can only
get on the DS. On the d you know, because like they re
released Pokemon Diamond and Pearl on the Nintendo Switch and a big component of that
game was the dual screen, and they just tried to do a picture and
picture. It just made me hate the game, which is one of my
favorite Pokemon games. So that dual screen essential. You know, what else
we haven't considered is the fact that you can slam a DS shut. The
clamshells are so good with authority, like your gameplay thing where it's like you
were closing it would cause like a stamp to get stamped and I can't remember
what game it was or Spirit tracks. Yeah okay, yeah, yeah,
yeah, so I don't know. Just something about that was just so clever
and fun. I also had Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Worst which is a really
really good game. It was advertised by Nicole Kidman. Yes, yeah,
yeah, brain Age. Oh that's really good, Lucy, I know exactly
what you're doing. They're very good. Yeah. Col Kidman's brain Age was
very shocked about it. Problem is that the Castlevania games some game Boy answer
better. But they're pretty good on Yeah, that's true, they're pretty good
on the DS. I'm okay with us. Scribble Knots first popped off on
the d S and that like blew my mind as a kid. Yeah,
the bestsover okay with that? Ah, because I think Nikki brought it up.
They said, like, what was the what was the game where you
had to draw the spells on the bottom screen? Do you do that?
No, Comy Den you do that. You definitely do that in one of
the Castlevania ones. Yeah, you draw spells in that e comedy. Then
the world ends with you. Yeah, there's there's probably more, almost certainly,
Oh, there's a Kingdom what was the Kingdom? Hawks one that was
Memories Memories Tony Hawk's American skate Land. It's actually hell yeah, you know,
I reserve this that. I think the d S versions of Cooking Mama,
are the best versions of cooking Mama. I can see that. Oh
that rhythm having game is so good on the ds man, there's a bunch
of that. Was a game called it's a Ubisoft game I think called Project
Rub which was Randy Funny. Wait was it rub Rabbits or also in the
UK it was called Project Rub. Okay, yeah, it's it's exactly what
you so loud. I didn't put it one hundred and fifty volume. If
you're a menace, you're a menace. It's half and I was like,
no, that bad boy. I could also said it to be the server
entrance sounds all right, everybody, man, okay, all right, all
right. So what we have got PS two, Xbox three, sixty switch
and the Nintendo DS. That's right, it feels good, it feels I
feel good about that. I feel good about our choices. Me too.
I'm just going to switch it and get completely kicked to the curb. That's
I'm happy with that. So we've got we've got a uh, we've got
list. Then, yeah, we do I think we do out loud.
Uh yeah, I'll do it one more time, tam h you ready,
yep? All right, wait wait, wait, real quick, real quick,
real quick, before you read off this list, I want to bring
everyone's attention to one of the neatest versions of Guitar Hero with Guitar Hero on
Tour on the DS. Yes, yeah, that was wild. That ship
was absolutely the headphone jack right, is that what it was? In the
Game Boy Advance? Oh, the Keyboy Advanced Slot. Yeah, and then
you have little buttons through okay, uh, the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo
Switch, the stocks three sixty, and the PlayStation two. Feels good,
feels good. We're gonna get? Are we gonna get? Like a Wikipedia
pager was like. Oh, and the Nintendo DS was named as one of
the Mount Rushmore of gaming consoles by Jackson coveted their coveted mount Rushmore or Yeah,
that's definitely gonna happen. Excellent, great, excellent work here today,
everybody. Excellent scientific work. Look at us, hey, look at us,
Look at us. Who would have thought, not me? What a
