<v Speaker 1>Listen WWE superstar Drew mcintyr, and you're listening to the <v Speaker 1>WWE podcast, the one that everybody wants me so light <v Speaker 1>welcome as this is my you're gonna acknowledge me. <v Speaker 2>Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Hello, whatever time it <v Speaker 2>is with you and wherever you are. Thank you for <v Speaker 2>downloading this SmackDown review as part of the WWE podcast. <v Speaker 2>As always, it's an absolute pleasure to have you listening along. <v Speaker 2>I am Amanda at your host of the SmackDown Review, <v Speaker 2>and as you all know, I am back on X. <v Speaker 2>Please give me a follow. I am at Amanda SD review. <v Speaker 2>So before we get into it tonight, let's talk really <v Speaker 2>quick about raw from Birmingham. What a crowd. I absolutely <v Speaker 2>love it, but I guess I'm British, right, So I <v Speaker 2>go to football where we chant for ninety minutes straight. <v Speaker 2>That Becky comment. The heel thing is to talk down <v Speaker 2>the city, whatever city or town it is you're in. <v Speaker 2>I get it for me. A bit too soon for <v Speaker 2>the old Ausie Osborne comment. And I guess his family <v Speaker 2>are within their rights to speak out if they aren't happy, <v Speaker 2>but to get her to apologize I think is a <v Speaker 2>big extreme anyway, a good raw in terms of promos, <v Speaker 2>but for content, I think we're on rinse and repeat <v Speaker 2>over there before we get into our main event, which <v Speaker 2>is SmackDown. Let's talk really quickly about Clash in Paris <v Speaker 2>and some predictions. Sina versus Paul. Let's start off there. <v Speaker 2>Am I allowed to say? I don't care Sena win? <v Speaker 2>Please God? The four way for the titles, that's Seth <v Speaker 2>A's Champion versus CM Punk versus Juco versus l A Knight. <v Speaker 2>I think Seth retains, but there is some significant shenanigans <v Speaker 2>obviously with the Vision, and maybe do we get a <v Speaker 2>new member of the Vision. There's a lot of rumor gossip, etc. <v Speaker 2>Around on X and various podcasts there might be a <v Speaker 2>new member in the wings and so maybe this is <v Speaker 2>when that person gets introduced. Could be male, could be female, <v Speaker 2>could be Becky, don't know. Rains versus Read. I am <v Speaker 2>praying for a win for our OTC win for Rains, <v Speaker 2>and I'd like for him to get his shoes back <v Speaker 2>because I'm sure they look expensive, right Seamous versus Russeth <v Speaker 2>in a no Deh match whatever they're calling it a <v Speaker 2>Donnie gor match, or some think again, I'm really sorry, <v Speaker 2>but I don't care. It's terrible. I literally don't care <v Speaker 2>who wins that, and that would if I was in <v Speaker 2>the stadium, which I'm not, that would be my toilet <v Speaker 2>brick match. Becky versus Nicky Bella for the Intercontinental title. <v Speaker 2>I think possibly a Nicki win. I think some shenanigans here, <v Speaker 2>possibly involving a new Bailey character. I have everything crossed. <v Speaker 2>Come on for the Demented Hugger. That is where I'm <v Speaker 2>hoping we're going listen. All in all, quite underwhelmed by <v Speaker 2>this card. Obviously I'll be watching it because it's wrestling, <v Speaker 2>but I do feel a little bit for the Paris crowd. <v Speaker 2>I suspect though, they are going to make the most <v Speaker 2>of it and have an absolute ball Before we start <v Speaker 2>on some very important business. Yes, most people in the <v Speaker 2>UK call it Telly. Let's watch Telly. What's on Telly? <v Speaker 2>We also call the remote control the hoof of doofer <v Speaker 2>or the detonator. So what's on the Telly? I don't know. <v Speaker 2>Pass me the hoofa dufer and I'll check the TV guide. <v Speaker 2>So yes, we do call it Telly and wanka. What's <v Speaker 2>the wanka? Well, what would the equivalent in the USB. <v Speaker 2>I'm not sure, but I guess he's a dick would <v Speaker 2>be the closest. But there you go. Let's get to <v Speaker 2>it and review the SmackDown that aired on the twenty <v Speaker 2>ninth of August from Leon in France, and we start <v Speaker 2>off with Cole telling us that we are live from <v Speaker 2>the City of Light. I don't think they are. They're <v Speaker 2>in Leon, which is not the City of Light. The <v Speaker 2>City of Light, it's Paris, so we are actually in Leon. <v Speaker 2>And we get our arrivals. That gives us Solo and <v Speaker 2>his MFT. He's got a match tonight against Sammy for <v Speaker 2>the US title. Tonight. We've got Cole with Wade on Comms, <v Speaker 2>and they tell us that we've also got Drew on <v Speaker 2>the show tonight. Go straight into a reminder of last <v Speaker 2>week's Killer segment with Seena and Logan. Paul, I actually <v Speaker 2>missed a vital part of last week's show. I missed <v Speaker 2>the subject that Nick was going to talk to Seena <v Speaker 2>about last week before seeing it got laid out by <v Speaker 2>Logan and he said something like I've just had Brock <v Speaker 2>on the phone and he wants to something something something, <v Speaker 2>And then we get the Logan Paul blindside, so at <v Speaker 2>least that is still happening. At some point we get <v Speaker 2>Logan arrive into massive booze and he makes his way <v Speaker 2>right to the ring and the boos are even more massive. <v Speaker 2>This guy has got so much I hate you heat. <v Speaker 2>Pausing the ring and Wade is explaining that Logan did <v Speaker 2>take some shortcuts to get where he is over the <v Speaker 2>last four years, which I'm not sure what the point <v Speaker 2>of that was, but there we go. He's got the <v Speaker 2>mic and the boozer deafening. He says Scenic called him <v Speaker 2>a parasite, and he says it sounds like the French <v Speaker 2>crowd think he is a parasite too. He says he <v Speaker 2>doesn't even know if they understand him, but he's going <v Speaker 2>to stick to English as he is an American. Sigh. <v Speaker 2>Just really, He says, it's not him they have a <v Speaker 2>problem with. It's change they have a problem with. He says, <v Speaker 2>he isn't a parasite, He's the opposite. He's a disruptor. <v Speaker 2>I'm not sure technically speaking if disruptor is the opposite <v Speaker 2>of parasite, but I guess he's making a point. The <v Speaker 2>crowd of chanting f you logan, and like last week, <v Speaker 2>he seems to be quite annoyed by that tells the <v Speaker 2>crowd to shut up, and I think it's because, genuinely, honestly, <v Speaker 2>he knows that the F word is getting bleeped out, <v Speaker 2>which means that basically no one is hearing his promo <v Speaker 2>at home. He says he was hired to shake up <v Speaker 2>the WWE, and that's what he did. He goes on <v Speaker 2>to list the facts that have happened since he signed. <v Speaker 2>He says he put WW on Netflix, he brought WW <v Speaker 2>to ESPN, and the value he brings is incalculable. He says, <v Speaker 2>you're welcome, Tao. The crowd start up the fu chant <v Speaker 2>again and they even boo Prime. He says the WWE <v Speaker 2>is becoming the ww ME and he is the future, <v Speaker 2>if they like it or not. He says, the outdated <v Speaker 2>one who's keeping them all going is John Cena. He says, <v Speaker 2>last week Tina Sina told him to bring his a <v Speaker 2>game and that's a joke, as he as an athletic phenomenon. <v Speaker 2>He tells Sena that he's an impostor in French and <v Speaker 2>says when he beats Sina Sunday, he will show everyone <v Speaker 2>here is the future, and if you can't change with it, <v Speaker 2>you'll get left behind. Thankfully, seen A's music hits and <v Speaker 2>the crowd go absolutely nuts for the first of many <v Speaker 2>times this evening. I mean talk about a chalk and <v Speaker 2>cheese reaction, and I guess this is the pure good <v Speaker 2>versus evil and what wrestling at its core is all about. <v Speaker 2>We've got the goodies and we've got the baddies, and <v Speaker 2>that is what this is. Sena has the mic and <v Speaker 2>only after his special ring announcement, he says to Paul <v Speaker 2>that he's stupid. He tells him that you can't do <v Speaker 2>it alone and if they don't have the fans, they <v Speaker 2>don't have a show. He says, they won't get left <v Speaker 2>behind as they are the ones that set the pace <v Speaker 2>and hold the keys to whether or not Paul gets <v Speaker 2>accepted by the WWE family. Sina says he's sees so <v Speaker 2>much potential in Paul and that's why everyone gets so <v Speaker 2>frustrated with him. He says, everyone knows that Logan won't <v Speaker 2>put in the effort of trying to understand what actually <v Speaker 2>goes on around here. He says, if Logan did his homework, <v Speaker 2>he would see that he isn't a disruptor, He's a wannabe. <v Speaker 2>He says that Logan is standing in the ring with <v Speaker 2>one of the original disruptors who wore jawts and sneakers, <v Speaker 2>even though they said he'd be fired if he did. <v Speaker 2>A man who changed championships. I'm guessing that's a comment <v Speaker 2>about the spinny belt that he had and pissed off <v Speaker 2>the fans. He tells Logan he's trying to be him <v Speaker 2>knocking people out with brass nuts. He was doing that <v Speaker 2>twenty years ago and they said word life on them. <v Speaker 2>He tells him that this is his first lesson in <v Speaker 2>basic psagonomics and Logan Paul is no more than a <v Speaker 2>dollar store John Cena, which I thought was an excellent <v Speaker 2>little passage of promo. I really enjoyed it. He says, <v Speaker 2>you claim to have done all these achievements, but his <v Speaker 2>influence isn't what it once was. He says, yesterday he <v Speaker 2>saw a list of the twenty five best influence in <v Speaker 2>the world, and Paul wasn't on it. Sena says, you're <v Speaker 2>pasted it. You made prank videos and disc songs in <v Speaker 2>your teens, but now you're in your thirties. You aren't <v Speaker 2>here to save wrestling. You're here to save your own ass. <v Speaker 2>He tells him. They don't feel fear change, they just <v Speaker 2>see through his bs. Sina tells Logan everyone is sick <v Speaker 2>of you. We give you all the opportunities and you <v Speaker 2>give no respect. At that point, Sina leaves the ring <v Speaker 2>and tells Logan that he will show him how he <v Speaker 2>shows respect. And then he walks up the ramp and <v Speaker 2>he finds in the crowd the crying kid from Brussels. <v Speaker 2>He is in my hug, and he apologizes to him, <v Speaker 2>which is just completely adorable. Logan starts being a douche <v Speaker 2>scene and tells Sina to wrap it up. Sina says, <v Speaker 2>find dickhead, you ask for this match, bring it on. <v Speaker 2>He says, you have twenty four hours to sort out, <v Speaker 2>sort yourself out, or you won't save wrestling or even <v Speaker 2>ruin wrestling. Wrestling will ruin you now. I think this <v Speaker 2>was a pretty strong opening segment tonight. Paul's promos are <v Speaker 2>predictable and a bit dull, but once Sena came out, <v Speaker 2>it absolutely lit on fire. Genuinely a very cute moment <v Speaker 2>when he apologized to that kid in the crowd and <v Speaker 2>again the best bits of the story set in truth <v Speaker 2>with the top twenty five influencers thing which I went <v Speaker 2>away and checked, and yet it looks real. Don't you <v Speaker 2>think Sina is going to be a huge miss when <v Speaker 2>he does finally go, If he's really gone forever and <v Speaker 2>it's not one of those I've retired, No, I'm back. <v Speaker 2>I think he is going to go go. I think <v Speaker 2>it's going to be a massive miss. And I think <v Speaker 2>maybe he is the last world champion, or maybe I'm <v Speaker 2>going soft anyway, hoping he gets the win and shuts <v Speaker 2>Paul up. On Sunday, I bet we see Brock and <v Speaker 2>what next for Logan? Honestly, who cares? I really have <v Speaker 2>no time for the guy. I think he forces himself <v Speaker 2>into storyline after storyline, and I don't think anyone really cares. <v Speaker 2>As I've said a couple of times many times before <v Speaker 2>on the show here, I think he makes good moments <v Speaker 2>and he does good spots, but not good matches. So <v Speaker 2>that's my opinion. Let me know what you think. We <v Speaker 2>go backstage to Kathy Kelly. She has the profits and <v Speaker 2>beefab with her. She asks them how they're going to <v Speaker 2>navigate tonight, and they say missus all talk and Mellow <v Speaker 2>isn't him, so they are confident. We then get Bo Dallas, <v Speaker 2>who says, is the blood running through your veins the same? <v Speaker 2>Are you family? Because the Wyat Six are, and when <v Speaker 2>you come for us, you will understand. This is a <v Speaker 2>fun little twist that we've not seen before. Even though <v Speaker 2>the Six are currently the tag team champions, they don't <v Speaker 2>tend to get involved in any of the shenanigans apart <v Speaker 2>from showing up and sitting ringside. So I think this <v Speaker 2>is good. We've got some mind games from Bo Dallas, <v Speaker 2>playing with the idea that one or the other of <v Speaker 2>the profits may turn heel on the other. And haven't <v Speaker 2>we been waiting for that to happen for like the <v Speaker 2>last eighteen years. Why I guess we have. Color me intrigued. <v Speaker 2>Now back in the ring and we've got the women's <v Speaker 2>tag title match and it's the tag champs, Bliss and <v Speaker 2>Flair versus the Secret servis This might be a good one. <v Speaker 2>Did you guys see the news this week? I saw <v Speaker 2>an article I don't remember where or who to credit, <v Speaker 2>but it suggested that Bliss has said that she knows <v Speaker 2>she's going to join the White at six when the <v Speaker 2>time is right, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. <v Speaker 2>I'm okay with it. Once these two drop the belts, <v Speaker 2>I think I would like to see Bliss and Cross <v Speaker 2>and Bliss generally in with the wire six. I think <v Speaker 2>that would be quite fun. What do you think? Flair <v Speaker 2>still getting absolutely brilliant reactions from the crowd and looks <v Speaker 2>to be loving it. And as they're in the ancience way, <v Speaker 2>we get a blind side attack from Chelsea Green and <v Speaker 2>they have to be dragged off Charlotte who has been <v Speaker 2>battered here As we come back from a promo video <v Speaker 2>about Wrestle Palooser, I mean, what the f even is that? <v Speaker 2>Let's stick a pin in Wrestle pal Looser and come <v Speaker 2>back to that another week. Jesus. Anyway, the match has <v Speaker 2>been changed to a one on one at Chelsea versus Bliss, <v Speaker 2>and Bliss is off to a flyer whilst Cole explains <v Speaker 2>that the Secret Hervis have lost their championship match due <v Speaker 2>to their actions. That's not something we see very often ringside. <v Speaker 2>Shenanigan's from Albert trying to help Chelsea out, and Cole <v Speaker 2>says Piper isn't here either, as she's not medically cleared. <v Speaker 2>So wait, if Piper isn't here here, then what Chelsea <v Speaker 2>and Albert aren't a team and they weren't the one <v Speaker 2>who earned the opportunity, So this was never happening, was it? Anyway? <v Speaker 2>Back to the match and the crowd not surprising the <v Speaker 2>firmily behind Bliss as she gets the upper hand back <v Speaker 2>on Chelsea and takes out Alba for good measure. Bliss <v Speaker 2>gets the first close pin of the match as the <v Speaker 2>crowd start off this is awesome chant. Chelsea counters sister <v Speaker 2>Abigail and gets herself a close cover. This one ends <v Speaker 2>in a flurry of counters to finishers and Bliss gets <v Speaker 2>a sneaky roll up and takes the win. There is <v Speaker 2>afters as Albert attacks Bliss and Chelsea joins in flair, <v Speaker 2>comes down on one leg to make the save and <v Speaker 2>she does well, also doing her popularity no harm at all. <v Speaker 2>Being the hero. Green gets the best of her hitting <v Speaker 2>the pretty hair, leaving Chelsea Bliss laying in the ring. <v Speaker 2>So I guess a rematch for the secret hervis whenever <v Speaker 2>Piper Niven is cleared, Let's have Chelsea's band from ringside, <v Speaker 2>or we are just on at infinite rinse and repeat. <v Speaker 2>So let's get this match done. Either take the titles <v Speaker 2>off Bliss and Flair, although that wouldn't be my preference, <v Speaker 2>and give him to the secret hervis or leave them <v Speaker 2>on Bliss and Flair and let them move on to <v Speaker 2>a new set of competitors. But let's not get stuck <v Speaker 2>on this one. Backstage again to Kathy Kelly, who has Sammy, <v Speaker 2>she asked him how he's feeling, what he thinks the <v Speaker 2>eals are for tonight. Sammy says he feels great and <v Speaker 2>so confident. He says he feels as good as when <v Speaker 2>he main invented Mania. He says it's the time and <v Speaker 2>there's no better place than Leon and he tells them <v Speaker 2>in French that he will be the new champion tonight. <v Speaker 2>We then get news from Cody and his wife has <v Speaker 2>had a baby, which is great. There must be something <v Speaker 2>in the water backstage at WWE all these babies anyway, <v Speaker 2>I guess that's why we didn't see Cody for a <v Speaker 2>few weeks. We then get a promo from Alistair Black <v Speaker 2>pretty much of a much ness spooky wookie candles and <v Speaker 2>saying how dark I mean he is and how he's <v Speaker 2>going to do naughty things to Priest. He says he <v Speaker 2>wants to show the world who Priest really is. And <v Speaker 2>he says he is leaning on his chest whispering I <v Speaker 2>warned you metaphorically. I presume. Well, that's a new level <v Speaker 2>of weirdness. We go straight back to Kathy Kelly. She's <v Speaker 2>the busiest girl in WWE. Tonight. She's got Priest with <v Speaker 2>her and asks him his opinion of what he just watched. <v Speaker 2>He says that Black comes across very educated, and he <v Speaker 2>says that he thinks he wants to be like Priest, <v Speaker 2>but he isn't and he should know better than to <v Speaker 2>make threats. He says he's going to teach him a <v Speaker 2>lot about pain and he's going to enjoy all of <v Speaker 2>the violence when they have their match. Now, have we <v Speaker 2>got a match in the books for those two or <v Speaker 2>are we still just talking about it? It might have <v Speaker 2>passed me by, but I don't think so. We've now <v Speaker 2>got meeching. She's facing Keana James, and if she wins, <v Speaker 2>she gets a title shot against Juliet for the Woman's <v Speaker 2>US title. Now, I think this will be good. I <v Speaker 2>haven't seen any of Keano James. She brought her handback <v Speaker 2>with her though perhaps she's going on somewhere after no <v Speaker 2>judge and this was not what I was expecting. The <v Speaker 2>bell rings. Keana tries to use that handbag to Meeching, <v Speaker 2>but Meechin uses her momentum against her, gets a quick <v Speaker 2>roll up and the win. BlimE me, Charlie. After the match, <v Speaker 2>Julia and Keana start to beat down on meeting. I mean, <v Speaker 2>it's a shame. They are dressed up in their in <v Speaker 2>gear with no one to fight, so here we go. Surprisingly, <v Speaker 2>no one coming out to make the safe for meat, <v Speaker 2>no sign of beefab. They seem to have forgotten that <v Speaker 2>their best is and the beat down goes on. Juliet <v Speaker 2>and Keana have gone full heel and that's okay by me. <v Speaker 2>So I guess this one goes on and Meeching with <v Speaker 2>the US title shot at some point. I'd really like <v Speaker 2>them to keep the title on Julia for a good while. <v Speaker 2>I'd like to see I get a nice long run <v Speaker 2>with some interesting opponents, and this Keana Angele is interesting <v Speaker 2>in her management advisor role whatever she's going to be, <v Speaker 2>So yeah, like this one. Let's get the Meeching title <v Speaker 2>shot done and dusted and then let's have Juliet move <v Speaker 2>on some new competitors as well. Up next, we've got <v Speaker 2>Drew apparently to address Randy, and Drew gets a massive <v Speaker 2>pop from the crowd. To be fair, he asked if <v Speaker 2>Randy is around, He's checked under the ring. He looks <v Speaker 2>in timekeepers. He asks Cold if there's a medical update <v Speaker 2>from Cody, Well, I mean work. You're listening, Drew, there's <v Speaker 2>a baby. There's not an update officially on Cody's medical <v Speaker 2>I suppose. He speaks to Randy and says, face me <v Speaker 2>like a man, give fans what they want and get <v Speaker 2>out here so they can sing your song. Randy obliges, <v Speaker 2>and the crowd go absolutely nuts again. He takes about <v Speaker 2>three go throughs of his song to get to the ring. <v Speaker 2>Finally gets to Mike and Drew tells him if you <v Speaker 2>attacked me for you, that's fine, or if it was <v Speaker 2>because of SummerSlam, that's fine too, But if you did <v Speaker 2>it because you think Cody is your friend, then you <v Speaker 2>were wrong. He doesn't have any friends. He then says, <v Speaker 2>when you were out for two years, I bet Cody <v Speaker 2>checked on you every day, and that wasn't because he's <v Speaker 2>your friend. He was gathering intelligence. Did you notice he <v Speaker 2>didn't hesitate to hurt you At King of the Ring. <v Speaker 2>He tells Randy he is an idiot if he think <v Speaker 2>Cody is his friend. Tells him that he makes a <v Speaker 2>complain compelling argument. But if you think I dropped you <v Speaker 2>last week because of Cody, you're wrong. I dropped you <v Speaker 2>because you are a prick. I have to agree. I <v Speaker 2>think Drew is a prick. He leans it in to <v Speaker 2>deliver that line, and as he does, Drew delivers a <v Speaker 2>Glasgow kick, goes for the claim or, but Randy dodges, <v Speaker 2>setting him up for a draping DDT, which he hits. <v Speaker 2>He's just about to hit the RKA when security comes <v Speaker 2>out and breaks it up. Randy gives rkos to everyone <v Speaker 2>who who've tried to stop him, and he's got Drew <v Speaker 2>lined up for the punt, but he manages to slide <v Speaker 2>out of the ring. So this was an interesting segment. <v Speaker 2>Randy does seem to maybe be hearing what Drew is <v Speaker 2>saying about Cody, and perhaps this is a bit of <v Speaker 2>a setup for the eventual Cody turn. I definite think <v Speaker 2>it's brewing, especially after the booze for Cody on Raw <v Speaker 2>this week. If you guys heard even Roman commented on it. <v Speaker 2>He might be on the turn already, like an old <v Speaker 2>point of milk. So that's on this bit of the story. <v Speaker 2>I think Randy stays face as he's so over right now. <v Speaker 2>The other element here is Randy think Drew's a prick, <v Speaker 2>and I, for one agree he is, and there is <v Speaker 2>clearly something brewing between them which would be a pretty <v Speaker 2>epic match in my opinion. So is that being lined <v Speaker 2>up also for a wrestle paloser, And again, let's stick <v Speaker 2>a pin in that and revisit it another week Wrestle <v Speaker 2>po looser. Backstage, Now we have Meares prepping for his <v Speaker 2>tag match. Mellow says, what's happened in the last two <v Speaker 2>weeks can't happen tonight. You can't steal my wins. Miz says, <v Speaker 2>it's not like that. We have to win tonight and <v Speaker 2>get a title shot, and then again we get both <v Speaker 2>Dallas he says, perception isn't reality? Can you handle that? <v Speaker 2>And he shuffles, I'm enjoying this Bodallas stuff tonight, just <v Speaker 2>interjecting himself into people's brains. Very good. That much is <v Speaker 2>coming now we've got so this is street profits versus Mellow, <v Speaker 2>and wez for a number one contend the match against <v Speaker 2>the White Six, and as we start off, Miss and <v Speaker 2>Mellow once again don't seem to be massively on the <v Speaker 2>same page. But we have Ford and Mis in first, <v Speaker 2>and we've got Ford showing off his amazing athletic ability. <v Speaker 2>We get a blind tag as Mellow comes in the <v Speaker 2>Dawkins is also in with all his power on show, <v Speaker 2>smashing up Mellow pretty good early on. Some shenanigans from <v Speaker 2>Mis allows Mellow to hit nothing but now on Dawkins, <v Speaker 2>but the rally doesn't last long as Dawkins' power pays <v Speaker 2>off again right on cue the Wyat Six appear and <v Speaker 2>just stand at ringside, causing the distraction to me is <v Speaker 2>who was just about to get the tag in This <v Speaker 2>allows the Profits to hit the revelation off of that distraction, <v Speaker 2>getting the win, pinning Mellow. So Profits are number one <v Speaker 2>contenders and they will get a title shot at Clash <v Speaker 2>in Paris, so that's an added match, and for me, <v Speaker 2>I've got the Wyat six retaining the tag titles at <v Speaker 2>Clash and going on perhaps working their way through some <v Speaker 2>other teams in the division. Hopefully that's the end. Of <v Speaker 2>the road for Mizz and Mellow as a team. I <v Speaker 2>am so over them. Should be a good match at Clash, <v Speaker 2>two very different styles in the two teams we've got. <v Speaker 2>We then go to Tiffy backstage. She's got Jade Standard <v Speaker 2>behind her, who says, have you heard the news? I'm <v Speaker 2>the number one contender for my title? It's weird that <v Speaker 2>she's calling it her title. Surely you can only call <v Speaker 2>it your title if it has at being your title <v Speaker 2>at some point, like Nia Jacks. Yeah, Like she's annoying <v Speaker 2>as hell and I really hate her, But she can <v Speaker 2>call it her title because it has in fact been <v Speaker 2>her title. Jade hasn't had the title, she can't call <v Speaker 2>it her title anyway, so Jason number one contender. Jade <v Speaker 2>says she's going to snap Tiffy in two. Tiffy tells <v Speaker 2>her that she's undefeated in twenty twenty five. Jade says, <v Speaker 2>when she beats her, all that ends. I can't even <v Speaker 2>with this. There's no way they can be thinking of <v Speaker 2>putting the title on Jade, not from Tiffy. It would <v Speaker 2>be an absolute crime. I bet they do, though, I <v Speaker 2>feel like I can feel it coming. It feels like <v Speaker 2>I know I said this before, but it feels like <v Speaker 2>the big, mindless push that Roman got throughout his Big <v Speaker 2>Dog years when he was Big Dog and he was <v Speaker 2>being forced on us and no one was really having it, <v Speaker 2>no one was really enjoying it, but they kept pushing, <v Speaker 2>they kept pushing, they kept pushing, and he only really <v Speaker 2>got over when he became the OTC. That's what I <v Speaker 2>feel we've got here with Jade. I don't think we <v Speaker 2>want it up. Well, I'm not going to speak for <v Speaker 2>you guys. In my opinion, I don't want it. I <v Speaker 2>don't want Jade's champion. Don't think she's there in terms <v Speaker 2>of her ring capabilities. I'm sure potentially at some point <v Speaker 2>she might be. She certainly seems to have a lot <v Speaker 2>of potential and she's definitely got the look and all <v Speaker 2>that stuff. But is she ready for the big title <v Speaker 2>right now? I don't think so, let me know what <v Speaker 2>you guys think. Backstage again, and we have Solo with <v Speaker 2>his MFTs and he is talking down Sammy, saying he <v Speaker 2>doesn't believe Sammy thinks he can take his title off <v Speaker 2>him and it won't happen. One spike to the throat <v Speaker 2>and it's all over, and that match is up next <v Speaker 2>down main event, which is Solo versus Sammy for the <v Speaker 2>US title. Both guys get the appropriate crowd reactions. Sammy <v Speaker 2>absolutely off the chart, does him no harm that he <v Speaker 2>speaks in French to the crowd. I think they really <v Speaker 2>like that. This one kicks off pretty even with Sammy <v Speaker 2>chucking Solo over the top with but the massive talatonga <v Speaker 2>protecting Solo from a flying Sammy. We then got Sammy <v Speaker 2>getting the upper hands, smashing Sammy in the corner with <v Speaker 2>his arse and gets a two count. Sammy starts to <v Speaker 2>get a bit of a hold on the match, but <v Speaker 2>behind the rest back the MFTs make their presence felt. <v Speaker 2>Solo hits spinning Solo and gets a super close count, <v Speaker 2>and then get Jimmy showing up at ringside, followed by <v Speaker 2>Jacob Fattou who are out apparently to even things up, <v Speaker 2>taking out the MFTs at ringside. Off this distraction, Sammy <v Speaker 2>hits Blue Thunderbomb getting an even closer to count was <v Speaker 2>like nanosecond in it. We've got carnage at ringside as <v Speaker 2>the MFTs brawl with Fatou and Jimmy. Several close covers <v Speaker 2>here for both guys, and this really is an excellent <v Speaker 2>match and well worthy of the title main event. This <v Speaker 2>one ends somewhat surprisingly when Solo goes to hit the spike, <v Speaker 2>which Sammy ducks, delivering a kick to Solo, sending him <v Speaker 2>to the corner and following up with another full on <v Speaker 2>Halluvah kick, getting the pin and winning the title from Solo. <v Speaker 2>I thought this was an absolutely brilliant match, the best <v Speaker 2>one on SmackDown for a while, and we have a <v Speaker 2>new champ. I think Sammy is absolutely the right person <v Speaker 2>to have it. We go off air with Sammy celebrating <v Speaker 2>with the crowd masses of Pyro and I think again, <v Speaker 2>we've got the US title elevated. We've got another title <v Speaker 2>on Sammy, which is fantastic. Pleased obviously that he's come <v Speaker 2>over to SmackDown. And as I said, yeah, US title <v Speaker 2>elevated with someone the stature of Sammy holding it and <v Speaker 2>hopefully getting a good run. I thought, all in all, <v Speaker 2>this was a decent show tonight, another excellent Sena promo <v Speaker 2>and one hell of a main event, including a title switch, <v Speaker 2>so the French crowd must be delighted at that. And <v Speaker 2>the MFT is getting neutralized by Jimmy and Fattu could <v Speaker 2>we be shaping up for something war game Z possibly, <v Speaker 2>although I can't really see not intended past the vision <v Speaker 2>being involved as well. That was all great stuff. A <v Speaker 2>little bit disappointing that we never got the women's tag <v Speaker 2>match we were hoping for, but we lived to fight <v Speaker 2>another day with that one, I guess. And although as <v Speaker 2>I've already said, I'm not super excited about Clash in Paris, <v Speaker 2>I'm not excited. I love the European crowds, appearly with <v Speaker 2>them in full voice is going to raise it a <v Speaker 2>couple of notches anyway, So I'm sure what it lacks <v Speaker 2>in decent matches and well told stories it will make <v Speaker 2>up for in atmosphere and I'm sure the Paris crowd <v Speaker 2>will absolutely make the most of it. So guys, listen, <v Speaker 2>reach out to me on X, let me know your <v Speaker 2>thoughts and feelings on where we're going. Let me know <v Speaker 2>what you think about this. Russell Palooser, I'm guessing this <v Speaker 2>must be an American thing. I've never heard such a <v Speaker 2>word before in my life, So yeah, if anyone wants <v Speaker 2>to reach out and give me a bit of info <v Speaker 2>on that, that would be great. So that just about <v Speaker 2>does it for this week's show.
