Twice a week on Reality with the King, We'll sit down with my friends across the entertainment industry, recap our favorite reality shows and revisit unforgettable moments that we are still talking and tweeting about. 00:01:45 Speaker 3: Watch. 00:01:46 Speaker 1: We have breaking news. 00:01:48 Speaker 2: Robin Dixon has been fired from the Real Housewives of Potomac. 00:01:57 Speaker 3: Yeah, what are your thoughts on that? 00:01:59 Speaker 1: You go first? 00:02:00 Speaker 4: My thoughts on that is that I love that she would stand up about it because a lot of times, most times when people leave reality TV, they are fired. But Bravo is very gracious and they give you an out. They'll say, hey, you know, I was looking into other things. I had so many other projects going on. You notice to be true. 00:02:18 Speaker 3: Or you know what I mean. 00:02:19 Speaker 4: Or they'll give you a lesser contract. For example, if you're full time and they say, okay, well we next season. We'll give you four episodes in this season, and then you quit, but you really didn't quit. They actually degraded you so you could get fired, so you could leave a way of exiting you out. 00:02:34 Speaker 3: One thing I've. 00:02:34 Speaker 4: Learned in business is that it's always better for somebody to quit than for me to fire, because when you find their you know they're disgruntled and they try to do things, so if you can do something for them to quit. So one thing I would say about Robin is she's a stand up person because she told the truth. Hey I got fired. 00:02:50 Speaker 3: Most people never do that. 00:02:53 Speaker 2: Yes, No, I thought it showed her character as a person. 00:02:58 Speaker 1: And look, one thing I will say this, I know. 00:03:00 Speaker 2: That we appeared to give Robin a hard time, and I want to take the moment to say this, Robin is a good person. Robin obviously I felt should be off the show only. 00:03:15 Speaker 1: For her mental health. 00:03:17 Speaker 2: I did not think Robin could handle the pressures of what it takes to do this show, especially in light of what was going on with wand it was obvious that she didn't have the grit to do it. Doing reality TV is very hard. It's a very hard get to do. And I think when it came to Potomac, some of those women got off Scott free, they thought like, oh, you know, let me go on this show, get fame, make a little money, and let me coast through. 00:03:51 Speaker 3: Right. A lot of them did that. 00:03:53 Speaker 1: So one of the things that I think she did was. 00:03:58 Speaker 2: Realized that everybody has a turn in terms of being in the hot seat. There's not one person who escapes being in the hot seat on reality television because in the reality of our lives, we don't escape in real life not being in the hot seat and. 00:04:15 Speaker 1: What we go through. 00:04:16 Speaker 2: You know, we're all have to experience being in the hot seat, but it's more so about how you handle it. And I think Robin may have coasted a few seasons, and this past season it was evident that she did not have the grint in order to be the main storyline, and that's the reason why I'm happy she was honest. 00:04:42 Speaker 1: Robin is a beautiful woman. I wish her nothing but the best. One thing I know. 00:04:48 Speaker 2: About the Housewives franchise, you are always welcome to come back when they see fit in real life. Her best friend is Giselle, so there's always room for real parents, like we saw Cynthia Bally re emerge right after all of her season. So my I wanted this to be a shout out to Robin Dixon. You are somebody who helped that show be great, and at the end of the day, I wish you nothing but the best, and we'll support you whatever you do next. 00:05:24 Speaker 3: I agree one thousand percent. 00:05:26 Speaker 4: I think that one of the rough things about being on reality TV is if you don't have backing, meaning your family or some kind of some kind of support system if you will. 00:05:36 Speaker 3: You know. 00:05:37 Speaker 4: And the thing about Robin is that her husband did not give her the support system that she needed to excel in this in this platform. I mean, had her husband been around and had he been there for her, it might have been a whole lot easier a lot of times when we go think through things on reality TV, because we have, you know, family and friends that love us, you know, we're able to deal with it better. But she didn't have a backing or a family structure to do that. And my heart goes out to her, and like you said, I'm glad that she did this for her own mental stability and that she's going to She's going to strive it. She's gonna do well wherever she goes. She's a beautiful woman and we wish her nothing but the best. 00:06:12 Speaker 1: Yes, yes, And the other person. 00:06:15 Speaker 2: We must get into the fact that Candas Diller Bassett is pregnant. 00:06:21 Speaker 3: We kind of knew that, didn't we. I mean I say that, I mean we said on our last. 00:06:26 Speaker 4: Blog that she must be pregnant and she's taking a break to have that baby, which is something that she needs to do. I mean, these these shows can be stressful. I mean, they trying to fight out there. 00:06:35 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. If I was pregnant, I probably. 00:06:37 Speaker 4: Would take a break as well, because definitely she's needed for the show. 00:06:40 Speaker 3: So I do believe she. 00:06:42 Speaker 4: Quit or taking a sabbatical if you will, in order to you know, experience that. And it's something a blessing, a blessing. And that's her first child. 00:06:51 Speaker 2: Here's her first child, and she's been going through IVF I believe, and this is her first child. So we are all happy for Candace. Listen, let's just get right into it. 00:07:05 Speaker 3: Yes, get it. 00:07:06 Speaker 1: I want to ask you this before we get into the season. 00:07:11 Speaker 2: Now that Robin is not going to be on the show anymore, what do you think is going to happen between her and and why? 00:07:19 Speaker 3: I think that I don't think he wants to be there. 00:07:23 Speaker 4: I mean, you know, I hate to even bring it up now, but I don't think he wants to be there. So, you know, I don't know what divorce looks like, but I think that you know, they're probably not going to physically be in the same household and or in a relationship. 00:07:35 Speaker 3: I don't think he wants to be there. 00:07:38 Speaker 1: Do you think the show was keeping them together? 00:07:40 Speaker 4: I think a lot of times the show does keep couples together. I know for a fact, on our show, couples are together because of the show. What couple is that I'm not gonna say, but you know, and actually it holds you together. 00:07:53 Speaker 3: But a lot of couples would have. 00:07:54 Speaker 4: Separated on Housewives on Marriage Medicine A lot of times the show is what holds them together. Without show, they would leave sometimes. Do women feel like, you know, and I'm talking about on Married to Medicine, because they're married to a doctor. They need to stay married to a doctor to be relevant and sustain and be and be good on the show, so they'll stay, you. 00:08:14 Speaker 3: Think, So I know, So I know. 00:08:16 Speaker 1: So have you been told that by some of these girls. 00:08:21 Speaker 4: I have witnessed that those are my opinions, but I'm their strong opinions. 00:08:25 Speaker 3: Nobody has told me that. 00:08:27 Speaker 4: No, but I've witnessed that they they're there because nobody was their strong as Quad to leave. They felt like, just like Quad, they're saying, she's no longer married to medicine, she should go a lot of women feel like they probably. 00:08:38 Speaker 3: Would have to go if they were no longer married to medicine. 00:08:41 Speaker 2: Mmmm mm hmm. Okay, well, speaking of people are separated, we talked about this last week the show Cliff hung with Gordon saying something. 00:08:53 Speaker 1: That he has to get off his chest. We both, I believe we both agree and have to do something with his health. 00:08:59 Speaker 2: Gordon is admitting that he has been diagnosed with bipolar bipolar one. 00:09:08 Speaker 1: I thought that was very brave of him to talk about. 00:09:11 Speaker 2: You know, mental health in the black community is something that we're still. 00:09:15 Speaker 1: Talking about on a public platform. 00:09:17 Speaker 2: I just, you know, went to my therapist today at two o'clock because no matter, and I want people to know this, you don't have to have a diagnosis in order to seek help and mental health. And my personal thing is this, and I wanted if you agree with this. I think anybody who has a life that is very stressful should seek therapy. I think if you're somebody that deals with a lot of stress, you should seek therapy. I saw my therapist today at two o'clock, hunting, and I applaud Gordon for being a heterosexual black man, for admitting something that a lot of people don't even go to the doctors to be diagnosed, and he said he's been He's been dealing with some of these issues since he was in his twenties, right, And you know what what made me sad? Heavenly to know that, Listen, we all have fun with Mia. Mia is a fun time. I felt so bad for Mia because when she was crying, as Gordon was saying it, that woman still loves her husband. And I want people to know this because I think a lot of tell me if I'm wrong. I believe Giselle even said why are you crying when somebody asked why she was crying. I believe people need to understand this. Just because you moved on from a relationship doesn't mean you lose a love you have for somebody. And I think what Mia is going through that I want people to understand. 00:10:54 Speaker 1: Mia is going through a grieving process. 00:10:59 Speaker 2: Mia is grieving the loss of the marriage. Yeah, she's moved on and all those things, but that is still the father of her children. And the fact that she was dealing with his bipolar episodes without her understanding what was going on. And the fact that Gordon admitted that I took me up through a lot and she stayed, we need to really give me her props for protecting Gordon the way she did, because she never once let us in on that. And we need to give Gordon props for being so open and honest about having bipolar one. 00:11:42 Speaker 1: I think he said so. I thought that was super beautiful. 00:11:46 Speaker 3: I agree one thousand percent. 00:11:47 Speaker 4: And I think that Reality TV has this drama and it has his tumor and all of that, but I think it was an open door that they actually used this time. The colorism, they kind of missed the mark, But with bipolarism, I take my head off to Gordon. I do know people in my family that have bi polarism, and it's something serious that people need to deal with and let it know that it's not a stigma as something negative. 00:12:09 Speaker 3: It's just like having a. 00:12:11 Speaker 4: Heart problem or a problem with your type diroid or your kidney. Mental issues are real and they're very prominent in our community, but a lot of people do not talk about it because of the stigma of what's going on. And I do know that bipolarism on set starts in early adulthood, you know. So it was amazing that he talked about that. And then you think about Reality TV because you get a small part of somebody's life and then you're able to formulate an opinion about Mia without even knowing what she's been through or what she's going through. And I thought it was such a pivotal moment that we got to see Mia for who she was. I feel like all relationships are different, all of them are completely different, and you never know what's working for one person. You can never say what you would do if you were that person. We had no idea that Mia was going through that, and they loved each other enough to allow them. He allowed me to move on with her new life with her new boyfriend or new lover, and she's still willing to take care of him. Now that's real love, you know what I mean. She's getting everything she needs, he's getting everything he needs, and they were able to put it out there so many people. Myself, I don't even know if I would have said that, you know what I'm saying on reality TV. 00:13:18 Speaker 3: So I take my head off to Gordon and Mia. I always loved me. 00:13:22 Speaker 4: I didn't understand the relationship, but this whole reunion. 00:13:25 Speaker 3: This was the best one yet. The part three was the best one yet. 00:13:29 Speaker 1: Well, I think listen. 00:13:31 Speaker 2: I will say this, I think this part was the best reunion in the show's history because we were getting some real life conversations and I'm so hopeful that for next season, the intention will definitely be getting back to more personal story that we're seeing with Mia Gordon inc that we are going to see well, unfortunately won't. We won't be able to see Canvas and her pregnancy because I think that would have been something great. Before I move on, I want to say this, we got to talk about Candace not being on the show anymore, and I will say this, knowing that she's about to have a baby. I feel that we as the audience have been cheated on her. 00:14:27 Speaker 1: Happily. 00:14:27 Speaker 2: Ever after we saw this woman get married on the show to the love of her life, we saw this woman go through IVF. 00:14:39 Speaker 1: My heart, my. 00:14:42 Speaker 2: Heart hurts for Candace because we know that everything happens for a reason. Okay, and I'm not gonna get emotional, but as a human being, my heart goes out to her because I know how badly she wanted to be on this show and she has a lot of supporters, me being one of them, and the fact that we are not able to see this woman share with us the journey of her pregnancy makes me sad. It's it's it's it's. 00:15:22 Speaker 1: Sad to me. 00:15:25 Speaker 2: Because we are invested in her, and we are invested in her and Chris, and the sad part. 00:15:33 Speaker 1: Is to me. 00:15:35 Speaker 2: I don't want the last memory of Candace being that, you know, she had to fight for her life to get along with these girls. 00:15:46 Speaker 1: I'm gonna skip all over because I want to. 00:15:48 Speaker 2: I want to stay on topic in terms of we're talking about so Rain Johnson boopies. I'm gonna I'm gonna like go back and forth with the with the recap. We're not gonna go and chronological order. So work with me here. When I saw that Giselle and Mia and Athlete blamed Candace for Devorah's actions, I was disgusted. I was heartbroken for Candace. When Candace cried a real tear right and said, I have to defend myself because no one will be here defending me, bitch, I lost it in my living room. I lost it in my living room when she said it was and heaven, let's talk about it. For me, it was the acknowledgement of her looking around the room saying. 00:16:49 Speaker 1: At the end of the day, none of you women are here to protect me. 00:16:55 Speaker 2: So if I have to get a bottle and defend myself, I'll have to do that because none of you women will fight for me. And I felt like I felt like Candace whole moment on the show has been her fighting for her life to be a part of these girls. And I was so disappointed in Giselle, who wasn't even there to say I blame Wendy and Candace when Joselle, you were not even there. You weren't even there. I would have said, heaven Lee, real talk. I would have said, you know what, you know what Andy, with all due respect, I wasn't there, so I'm not gonna comment on it. We know you don't We know you don't like Wendy, and we know you don't like Candace. We've heard it in nausey and we know that. Can you for once, Giselle, I beg of you. And this is the part where I said to myself, who is the real Gisell Bryant. 00:18:03 Speaker 1: Will the real Gisell Brian stand up? 00:18:06 Speaker 2: Because I can't, for the life of me understand why you can't have a human moment and say I wasn't there to comment to blame Wendy, And then when they say, well, Wendy wasn't around, well Candace, it was like, y'all have weaponized Candace as being a spoiled brat because she comes from money, when at the end of the day, all of you mothers on that stage are raising a Candace. All of you mothers on that stage are raising your children to grow with generational wealth. All of you women on that show are raising your children to not have to ask for a man to get a house. All of you women on that couch are raising your children to never depend on a man for money and to. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: Depend on people to do things for them. 00:19:04 Speaker 2: So the fact that you weaponize, you weaponize the very thing that you're teaching your children not to do, and you set that girl up to feel so disregarded makes me so upset for a heart to the point she now has to figure out life for herself, and it makes me, it makes me sad for her. 00:19:36 Speaker 4: I understand everything you said, and it's two parts, because you went on first and foremost. I wasn't sad for her leaving the show. In fact, I was happy for her. Nobody can understand how it feels when you get pregnant for the first time with somebody you love and you're able to actually reproduce. That's why it's been a big thing on our show to think for a lot of people that cannot do it, and now she can do it. So very much happy for her, and she gets very emotional. There's no way she needs to go through that whole thing, that whole situation on TV because she's tried so hard. 00:20:11 Speaker 3: To get here. So I'm happy that she's leaving, but I don't think she's leaving forever. I think she'll be back. 00:20:17 Speaker 4: That's my thought, that's my hope and my dream that she is back now talking about the fight that hit my heart home as well, because on this show and this is you know, this is me, and I'm gonna tell you the truth. We're here to verbal spar that's what we do. We're here to verbally spar. But nobody in this world is to put their brother tucking hands on you. I e don't wait till the cameras are down, don't wait until yo mama come in and her jeans continue through with every intention to fight and come at me or anybody else, to fight Ice staying with Candace on this shit. 00:20:51 Speaker 3: Because that's what we're supposed to do. 00:20:53 Speaker 4: If you're not intelligent enough or have the warrewothow to speak up for yourself. 00:20:57 Speaker 3: You don't need to be here, I'm telling you. 00:20:59 Speaker 4: And when you're in an in situation where somebody's charging at you, I don't know if it's fear, I don't know. 00:21:04 Speaker 3: If it's if it's just your. 00:21:07 Speaker 4: Adrenaline gets flown. But when somebody attacks me or tries to come to me, my mouth get worse. I'm gonna say some funck shit to you because now I'm afraid more so you can't say that she caused it or she drug it on because of her verbal because I would call your mama all kind of names up and his brother and knowing she wants to fight me. So I stay with Cannas on this one. This one, Cannas was totally in the right in my eyes, was the cameras were found. Somebody came intentionally to fight her in her eyes, I was not there. However, Giselle, I'm gonna need you to sit down. And a lot of times this happens on reality TV. It's not what happens is who it happens too. If she liked the girl, the story would have been different. Jaselle wasn't even there, So Jamselle automatically is going to go against the person that she does not like, and I don't like that for reality TV. 00:21:54 Speaker 3: And that's one thing I don't do. Even if I don't like you, I'm going to tell the truth. 00:21:58 Speaker 4: A lot of people say, Heavenly, you don't have loyalty to anyone on the show. No, I'm not gonna lie on somebody just because I don't like them, you know what I'm saying. 00:22:06 Speaker 3: That's just not why we're here. 00:22:07 Speaker 4: And I felt the candids because she had nobody backing her except her husband, you know what I'm saying. And that's why I felt like, Okay, if you're gonna fight me, Jackie, you better stand up, bitch, But you better somebody better be here from me when the minute I because I know my man got my back. But I felt Canna in that whole situation because you cannot say she drug it on because of words, because we're a lot of the news words legally and on the show is driven by words. So that's my standtime when I store with Candace on that one. 00:22:36 Speaker 2: I do too, and listen me and you both said this in nauseum. Canvas isn't always right, Candas isn't always you know, in the righting situations, Just like none of these girls are we We're all no one is perfect. 00:22:52 Speaker 3: Wrong. You've been wrong, We've been wrong, We're wrong. 00:22:55 Speaker 2: I'm apologized for many things, Child, you have apologized for things. 00:22:59 Speaker 1: We almost perfect. 00:23:01 Speaker 2: But the thing that I wish this show had was everybody saying, look when it comes to this. It reminded me of when on season eight of the Real Housewives of Atlanta Kenya more that we were in Miami and this friend of name Tanya, I believe that's her name, No Tammy, Tammy, child Tammy. 00:23:27 Speaker 1: A friend of named Tammy had her nephew come. Long story show. 00:23:31 Speaker 2: The nephew approached Kenya and then a fight broke out, and then some of the girls said, well it was Kenya's fault, and Candy, who wasn't even Cuba Kenya at the moment like that, she said, look, now, we know Kenya can be wild, and we know Kenya has a mouth, but we're not gonna sit up here and say kinga deserve for a man to front of a heart, like, what are we doing here? And that's what I wanted these other girls to say. 00:24:02 Speaker 1: One more example, I'll give Atlanta. 00:24:04 Speaker 2: I remember when Christopher William's wife named Natalie, when she came on the show and she was saying to Candy, you know Todd used to swerve or whatever, he's an opportunist. 00:24:16 Speaker 1: And I remember all the girls pretty much said, we are team Candy. 00:24:21 Speaker 2: You're not gonna come on our show as an outsider trying to take down one of one of our we made. You may get it, but no outsider is going to come on our platform and read one of the girls. And I wish that these girls could have said, Debra, you don't belong here. You won a moment. We may not like each other all the time, but you're not gonna come on our show and attack one. 00:24:45 Speaker 1: Of our own. That's what I would have hoped for. 00:24:49 Speaker 3: I agree with that. 00:24:50 Speaker 4: I agree with that, and my thought goes out with Candis. Candis was emotional about that thing. For really, that's how you get a little emotional too. Colose, Well, no, this is the thing about me, but think about me? Is this I I'm a libra. 00:25:04 Speaker 1: Now look ultras aside, I love what I do. 00:25:09 Speaker 2: I take pride in what I do for a living. It's a privilege and honor to do what I do. I from a production standpoint, I'm the face of black reality TV. As a producer, right, I have responsibility. I take those on the chin when right is right and wrong is wrong. I've cried and plenty of times on my reunions. I love everybody right, I love all the girls right. So I felt bad for Candace only because of this, not only primarily because I love God so much, and I know you do too, because you always treat about God as well. I love God so much that I know the power of getting on your knees praying for an opportunity. So when Canda is rebuilding my podcast that she prayed to be a housewife of Potomac and to know that she no longer is on it, when she is bringing a new life into this space, child, I have to address it, honestly, and it was just really and I agree with you, Listen. We're happy that she gets to experience a healthy pregnancy and not be in an intense environment, right, But my hope for her is that she takes off this season and she does come back or that. 00:26:35 Speaker 1: That she's you know, hopefully allowed to come back to. So yeah, I think. 00:26:39 Speaker 4: The show needs her. I mean, some people just are needed for the show. I think the Candice will definitely be back. That's just my hope, and that's my thought. Being a businesswoman that I am, I believe that they will have her back. But she did need the time off. She's too emotional. She does not need anything that can harm or keep her pregnancy. So I think she's doing the right thing and I think she'll be back. 00:26:58 Speaker 3: I really do. 00:27:00 Speaker 1: Well, I'm gonna pray for that. 00:27:01 Speaker 2: I'm gonna get on my knees to night honey and pray to the lower honey they can get to comeback. Now, what we also need to talk about, child is this windy and necka situation. 00:27:13 Speaker 4: And ironically, I'm in Nigeria right now, so I actually got some insight on what they about really honestly, honestly, I mean, you know, I don't want. 00:27:25 Speaker 3: To touch it. 00:27:25 Speaker 4: Because the interesting thing about this is on this side, they really believe in that stuff. They really believe in Satanism, wits craft, you know what I mean. I don't know, you know, but when they say certain things they don't even want to talk about it because if you call somebody a witch, you're ruining their businesses. 00:27:42 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. 00:27:42 Speaker 4: Nobody wants to be around you, you know that kind of stuff, and then they might even try. 00:27:47 Speaker 3: To kill you. 00:27:48 Speaker 4: So there's like three tribes here in Nigeria, right, there's three childes. 00:27:51 Speaker 3: There's big, three big tribes. I wrote them down because I you know, I'll try to remember. 00:27:54 Speaker 1: Okay, So just so I'm able to update people. 00:27:58 Speaker 2: The one of the main, honestly the main storyline this season was Wendy versus Neka. 00:28:06 Speaker 1: Before we get. 00:28:07 Speaker 4: From the same tribe in Nigeria, which which is you would think that they would get along because these tribes are very, very proud you see. 00:28:17 Speaker 2: Yes, no, so I said earlier on So what we discovered on the Part three reunion was that Carlos King is always right okay sometimes yeah, I mean, you know, not okay not note point eight okayf theus. 00:28:36 Speaker 1: Off all jumps aside. 00:28:39 Speaker 2: Wendy and Neka's interesting dynamic was rebuilt last night. So dtor Heavenly I said on this very podcast months ago that my theory was that Neka told the producers I know Wendy because the way it works dr Heavenly Right, when a new cast member comes on the show or is interviewed, producers ask who do you know that's on the current cast as a way of introducing you onto the show through this person, right, I said on my podcast, Mekka probably said to the producers, Oh, I know Wendy. They then went to Wendy and said, you know Nika. She was like, who I know of her? But we ain't friends? Well, can you bring her on? Absolutely not, because I don't know her. And I want y'all to understand this. Gone are the days, especially on Housewives. 00:29:38 Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell y'all why. 00:29:40 Speaker 2: The reason why Wendy did not want to officialize Mecca as her friend is because when you bring somebody on the show, the audience thinks you gotta have this loyalty to this person as your friend. And the example I'm gonna get into you too. The example I'm gonna give is this when Fallon, Simon Gubadia's ex wife was brought into the Real Housewives of Atlanta, she came through Porsche, so the world thought Porsche and Fallon were like besties or friends or whatever they met for the first time on set, and then when Porsche married Simon, the controversy was how can you do that to your friend, and Porsia had to defend herself saying, she's not my friend. 00:30:34 Speaker 1: I met her on set. Like, let's be clear. 00:30:38 Speaker 2: The moment that was revealed, housewives have now taken it very seriously. 00:30:43 Speaker 1: I'm not going to have somebody. 00:30:45 Speaker 2: Come on the show through me because I don't know them that well or what they're capable of, and I don't want to be attached to them. 00:30:54 Speaker 1: And that's what was revealed. 00:30:56 Speaker 3: That's absolutely true. 00:30:57 Speaker 4: There's so many people that have that have said they know me or know Jackie and Jackie don't know and then they're offended that you met them before. But you know, we need so many damn people. Jackie does so many speaking gigs and I do too. And there's people that call me that I met maybe once in there a dentist, and they'll say, you know what I told production, I knew you, And I'm thinking, like, okay, you know, we don't know each other, but that's a way to get on and so many people do it. And my thought is, you know, Wendy did not know neckup. But they were from the same tribe, you know, So to me, if you didn't know, or you should have called her up to get to know her, I don't know. But my whole thing is I see why people don't want to bring people in. I E. I did a lot for certain people to be on the show this year, right to me, I made them a star, and they mad at me because of the things their husband did or were allegedly not a. 00:31:48 Speaker 3: Legendary according the quad, but allegedly did you mad at me? You right at the wrong people. 00:31:52 Speaker 4: But you brought them on and then they come in and they change on you. So what I bring somebody else in, I'd be more skeptical this time, and they see what happens, and then you're responsible that people saying, hold to me responsible for bringing her, Like the cast is looking at me like, oh. 00:32:05 Speaker 3: You brought her? No, So I get exactly what Wendy said. 00:32:08 Speaker 4: We don't know a whole lot of people, a lot of people we've met before that didn't know you. 00:32:12 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, I just don't know you. 00:32:14 Speaker 4: So yeah, but I think it's uh, it's just like you know me and doctor me and doctor Alicia Eglam. 00:32:23 Speaker 3: Right, we're colleagues, and that's just in the dental field. 00:32:26 Speaker 4: Right, you don't want to call up against somebody in your colleague and the same way you don't want to go up to get somebody that's from West Africa, Nigeria. And not only that, they're from the same tribe. Like I said, you know, there's three different tribes that I learned this while I was here. Is your other you learned is you're about how you saw an Egbo and from that they got a whole lot of subtribes and all that. 00:32:46 Speaker 3: But these people are really proud of their tribes. 00:32:50 Speaker 4: They're like, if you're how will sign you better than the Ebos and all of this, that and the other, you know what I'm saying, And they really believe in that stuff. So for them to be from the same tribe and Neka going up against Wendy, that's like looked at, frowned upon with the people in Africa, like they don't want you going against somebody in the same tribe. And you know, I can understand that because even my colleague, I don't want to go against her because she's a fellow dentists, you know, So I understand that, and it's a lot going on with that. They believe in a lot of different things, and I ain't gonna say what's true or what's not. My religion is a little bit different. A lot of them are Christians, but a lot of my Muslims as well. There are some Jews and different things, but they believe heavenly on the other side, you know what I'm saying. They believe in that stuff and a lot of times, if you believe it's true, you know, So when she says taboo, there's certain things she don't even want coming out of her mouth because they believe that those words have power. 00:33:40 Speaker 2: Yeah, and that was the part that really made me feel I felt bad for Neka. And I'm gonna tell you why. I've been very honest about Nekka's in production to this show. How unfortunately it was not the best setup. I said before that she has this handsome husband that I would I'd love to have gotten more information out of their marriage, more out of what. 00:34:06 Speaker 1: She does for a living and who she is. 00:34:08 Speaker 2: And the fact that it was a three part reunion and Nika spoke for ten minutes. 00:34:16 Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, In fact, I was wondering who is that black girl. At the end, I didn't know who it was, honestly to me, honestly, but then when they said Nicka, I remembered her name, but I didn't know who that was. 00:34:26 Speaker 1: No, that was the thing. 00:34:27 Speaker 2: It was sort of like I felt bad for Mecca because the biggest thing for me is I want her to get another chance, you know, I want The thing is this, I don't know. 00:34:43 Speaker 1: Anything about this woman. 00:34:47 Speaker 2: I know nothing about her, and it was to me a waste of a flute, because where do you go from here? You know, I don't know where she can go from here if she is not asked back. Because the rumor now, just so you know, Doctor Hamie has been reported that allegedly Neka is fired. 00:35:11 Speaker 3: Okay, I can see that. 00:35:13 Speaker 4: I can see that Wendy would not want to film with her based on what I've learned here in Nigeria. She wouldn't want to film with her anymore, based on the thing she said about her mother. 00:35:23 Speaker 1: Do you want to see more of Mekka? 00:35:26 Speaker 4: I don't have an opinion on it. I didn't even know who Nika was, so I love Wendy, so you know what I mean. I have nothing against Nika I don't know who she is. I don't you know, but if she comes to goals, it really wouldn't make me a difference. So no, I don't care. 00:35:40 Speaker 1: You don't care. 00:35:41 Speaker 3: So I I just don't know who she is. Like like Wendy, don't know her. I don't know. 00:35:48 Speaker 1: Well, she's married to a doctor. Could she be a married to medicine? 00:35:51 Speaker 4: Well, you know a lot of times I hear people, and I heard her through that out there married to medicine throws their necks out wide. 00:35:57 Speaker 3: A lot of people are asked, but few are chosen. I say that. 00:36:01 Speaker 4: I mean, you know, people always tell me, oh, you know, as if they you know what I'm saying, as if they. 00:36:05 Speaker 3: Could be here. 00:36:05 Speaker 4: They're saying, oh, you know, they called me too. They called me to listen. They call a lot of people, you know, and you are chosen. 00:36:12 Speaker 3: I will say that you were chosen. 00:36:14 Speaker 4: So don't throw married to medicine at debate, because no, I'm just saying, but no, what kind of got. 00:36:20 Speaker 3: Through to her husband? He seems like a nice guy. 00:36:22 Speaker 4: Girl. 00:36:23 Speaker 1: They barely show up the husband what he does for a livy. 00:36:26 Speaker 2: But this is a guy I literally and I'm not being funny I don't know who she is. 00:36:33 Speaker 1: I know nothing about her. 00:36:36 Speaker 4: It was there she said negative things about Wendy and her mother. 00:36:39 Speaker 3: That's what I do know. 00:36:40 Speaker 2: And the whole thing about their culture, and I thought the whole misrepresentation of the of the tribe and their heritage. It was just something that I didn't think was entertainment. And if that's something to bring up, bring it up, one child, keep it moving. But Wendy definitely wants no parts of it. Whendy was adam baby. Wendy said, there was like, listen, you gotta love doctor Whiddy. 00:37:09 Speaker 3: I do. 00:37:10 Speaker 4: I love what she addressed right, Actually, like what do you know talk about it? No, no, no, not you her, because she talking about sh She don't even know what it is. So yeah, she wanted, yeah, I don't know what he is either, but I know a little bit more because i'm you know. 00:37:26 Speaker 1: Well, you're you're you're in the continent. 00:37:28 Speaker 2: So the thing is Ashley was did wrong for bringing it up. Ashley said she was told this and let our imaginations go wild with with that. But the fact that Ashley got the information wrong and it became this whole thing, Wendy checked Ashley real tough and was like, well, we're not gonna do is have you sit up here and and and and and try to even more to it. The way Wendy clocked Ashley and shut her down was the most beautiful part of the regunion to me, because I do feel like Ashley gets away so much with with being like, oh, that's Ashley. 00:38:15 Speaker 1: She's cute, she's young, she's sure, she's. 00:38:18 Speaker 2: Bubbly, and she gets away with being messy and nobody holds her accountable. And the woman who did hold her accountable is not coming back to the show. So I love the fact that Wendy clocked it. Wendy checked her Ashley and her root paulse drag Race Wig, you know, set there looking dumbfound it like, well, I don't want to say too much, so you just sit there. And then speaking of Ashley, she revealed that she rubs her strange husband's feet every night. Like I said to y'all again, because y'all love to read me, I'm always right, I said to y'all before, Ashley and Michael Darby are not getting a divorce. He does not want to film for the show, so she had to make up an excuse as to why you won't see him ever again on the show. He has wanted Dixon his way out of filming, and she has to come up with this storyline, I'm still dating? How are you still dating somebody and rubbing their feet with ben Gay and Aspra cream on a nightly basis? 00:39:23 Speaker 1: She said she does it every night. 00:39:27 Speaker 4: I think what she was trying to say is before she was lying about a divorce, but now she is actually now saying that she's going to go through a divorce now because she says she massaged with a d Remember she said, don't forget the d massage. 00:39:39 Speaker 3: She used to massage his feet. 00:39:41 Speaker 4: So her whole story yes last year was that she was going through the divorce, which was not true. But now she is going to a divorce because I think they asked her will she get a lot out of the divorces? She said, she get a handsome you know, stipend or profit out of divorce. So I didn't see the love there, you know what I'm saying. I see the love with even more with Mia and Gordon. I never really saw the love with her and her husband. So you know, hopefully everybody in a better place. You know what I'm saying people do what they got to to survive. Actually is a beautiful girl, Like you said, I love Ashley, but you know I can't be mad. I mean, people do what they need to do to get where they need to go. I ain't even gonna talk about it. So hopefully she gets everything she. 00:40:22 Speaker 3: Wants out of life. 00:40:23 Speaker 1: Well, she has everything she wants out of life. 00:40:26 Speaker 2: If I had a job where I get to show up and make all this money by bringing on Deborra to fight, to fight battles, if I get to be on a show having a clothing line that we don't see much of today, I mean, where's the website, Where's. 00:40:45 Speaker 1: Where's the what's the link for me to purchase? 00:40:47 Speaker 3: You know? That's Charai right? How to do it? Char can tell them? 00:40:51 Speaker 1: Charae can? 00:40:53 Speaker 3: She can? 00:40:55 Speaker 1: You were at the fashion show? 00:40:57 Speaker 3: I was there. Yeah, she got a whole line out there. 00:40:59 Speaker 1: So did you buy? 00:41:04 Speaker 3: Oh? 00:41:04 Speaker 1: She is? 00:41:04 Speaker 3: I think that that marriage was a beard? 00:41:06 Speaker 2: Right? 00:41:07 Speaker 3: It was a beard right? He was she was his beard. 00:41:10 Speaker 1: No, that's allege. 00:41:13 Speaker 3: Mother revealed on the thing he said on TV. I was there. 00:41:17 Speaker 4: He said that the man grabbed his but no, straight man grabs people's MutS. 00:41:21 Speaker 3: Well, let's I mean, it is what it is. 00:41:25 Speaker 1: But I don't know, y'all. All I know is she ain't getting no divorced anytime soon. 00:41:32 Speaker 3: That you know that that that. 00:41:33 Speaker 1: I can, I can. I can tell you that ain't. 00:41:36 Speaker 4: Its financial probably for her. So whatever benefits her financial is what she's gonna do. 00:41:41 Speaker 1: Yes, No, that that that ain't happening. 00:41:44 Speaker 4: Can't be mad at that, Honestly, when you got kids, I can't be mad at that. 00:41:48 Speaker 2: No, listen, I think at the end of the day when she revealed that she met Michael, Michael said, quit your job and try of the world. 00:41:54 Speaker 1: I mean, it is what it is. It is what it is, and. 00:41:58 Speaker 2: Listen, that's the lie she chose to live. No one's mad at it. It is what it is. But I just think, listen, no shade. I wish Ashley. 00:42:10 Speaker 1: Would have stepped down. 00:42:12 Speaker 3: I just sat down with y'all and asked me to. If I was Ashley, I wouldn't have done it. I read you know what I'm saying. 00:42:20 Speaker 4: I mean, maybe she should have, but I wouldn't have done it either. If y'all gonna pay me to come in and do what I do, I will stay and do it. 00:42:26 Speaker 1: You know what I mean, So yes, yes, no, but I think the time is up for her. 00:42:33 Speaker 2: So what did you think about the ending of this reunion? 00:42:38 Speaker 1: Because I just don't know where to go from here. 00:42:45 Speaker 4: It's going to be an interesting dynamic to see it next season. Where does Giselle go without Robin that's a question. Okay, where does Actley go without Candace checking her ass? 00:42:55 Speaker 3: Okay? 00:42:56 Speaker 4: The Grand Down will always be the Grand Dome. She will be the fence if you will, Like she always says she is, Wendy is always gonna hold her ground. So I think that we'll see a new dynamic, you know. I think that, like you say, everybody has their season every day that he has the stuff that they need to go through and stuff like that, and they trying to sit up next season for my ignit tale. I promise to God, they got so much coming in me next season. I'm like, already, okay, call me later, try call me later. 00:43:24 Speaker 3: I'm just like, really, wow, what what? 00:43:26 Speaker 1: What y'all? 00:43:26 Speaker 3: Where y'all getting this? What's going on? Okay? 00:43:29 Speaker 4: Whatever, let's handle it, okay, because at the end of the day, I still got my man. 00:43:37 Speaker 2: So somebody who is coming for you doesn't have their man anymore. 00:43:42 Speaker 3: Oh No, No, I didn't say that. I didn't say that at all. I'm just saying it's a lot of a lot of stuff. 00:43:46 Speaker 4: So everybody had the season, you know, so it's all about how you respond to it, though. 00:43:50 Speaker 1: Are you not nobody as your friend? 00:43:54 Speaker 3: We're gonna pray all through it up and through it. I can't reveal. I ain't saying shit. El is close. But uh, but I. 00:44:00 Speaker 4: Think that season season eleven is going to be great again. I think season ten was good as well, you know what I'm saying, And I'm gonna make sure season eleven is good as well. We're gonna give everything we got. We're gonna throw it down for you guys, and we're gonna put it down. 00:44:14 Speaker 3: Yep. 00:44:14 Speaker 4: But also, but toomic, I'm excited because this whole season seemed to be a little bit dragging, if you will. But in the end Mia kind of brought it together and the reunion was excellent. So it gives me a lot of hope for a season. What are they on now to nine? It'll be nine next year. Season nine. 00:44:32 Speaker 1: They gonna bring. 00:44:34 Speaker 3: I love their level of class. I do. 00:44:37 Speaker 4: I love that, Like you said, Robin, explained to you that she was fired. I love that about her. I love Karen Huger. I love the way that Wendy checked actually for speaking out a turn. I just think that their show is on a certain level that I love it. You know, it was unfortunate they had a fight. Who's to blame, I don't know, but whoever started it needs not be he needs not come back ever. 00:45:02 Speaker 3: I mean yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no. 00:45:10 Speaker 1: And and and that's the thing. I think. The biggest thing for me is the. 00:45:14 Speaker 2: Fact that Giselle no longer has Robin, so that's gonna be interesting to see how she gets in the mix. 00:45:20 Speaker 1: I guess she has Ashley. 00:45:23 Speaker 2: Karen is going through some personal stuff that you know, we may see on this upcoming season. Mia has mea once again, has the best story. There's a lot going there. 00:45:35 Speaker 4: Doctor Wendy portrays like how she's gonna take care of Gordon and still have another male interest. 00:45:41 Speaker 3: You know that's going to be interesting. 00:45:43 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, No, this show has become MIA's show. 00:45:47 Speaker 3: Yeah, I would agree with that. 00:45:49 Speaker 1: Mia was the underdog. 00:45:51 Speaker 2: Mia was a dark horse, and it's evident that this show has become hers. And my hope is that at the end of the day, we get back to the personal story and the fun that we saw in earlier seasons, and maybe with the dismissal of Robin with Candice, you know, leaving and being pregnant, and then they're rumoring that Nekka is gone, which I again, I I kind of want to see Meka only because of this. It's like when Anna Marie on Beverly Hills got let go. I felt like we didn't get a chance to see a lot of her. And I don't know, I feel bad for Nekka. I'm just gonna say that, Yeah, I don't. 00:46:41 Speaker 3: I don't. 00:46:41 Speaker 1: I'm alone in that. 00:46:44 Speaker 4: Are you alone on that? When you know I agree with you if I do? But I don't, I don't. I think that it is a great show. It's going to continue. You could learn a lot about it, about transparency, and like I said, my hitting home for me is Gordon because Gordon was transparent. He told everything and you could just understand where me is coming from. At first, I was, you know, I ain't gonna say judging, but judging, you know what I'm saying, Like gre and girl, you got but she actually the person that's holding all this together. She's actually the person that is taking care of Gordon. My head goes off to her and I, you know, anything I can do to support her in that because I know that has to be very difficult dealing with that. 00:47:20 Speaker 3: So God is good. 00:47:22 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:47:23 Speaker 2: So the other thing too, before we wrap things up, is breaking news. 00:47:27 Speaker 1: Do you watch Bailly Hills Housewives? 00:47:30 Speaker 3: I don't own a regular No. 00:47:32 Speaker 1: Do you know Crystal? 00:47:33 Speaker 2: Crystal is the Asian American woman who was married to She's married to somebody that has something to do. 00:47:42 Speaker 1: With Lion king. 00:47:43 Speaker 3: Okay, doesn't make a bell, so now to people of color, so. 00:47:51 Speaker 1: Well, she's Asian American. So she's a color doctor heavily. You mean the Black Falls look about it. 00:47:55 Speaker 2: So the thing is this, she revealed that she is not coming back to the show either. That just came out a few minutes ago. So I wanted to address that. But you don't know her and that's five. 00:48:09 Speaker 4: But again, your your show coming back out because I saw that. Can we talk about that? Hutville a new Datenville. 00:48:17 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, So Love and Marriage Huntsville is coming back May fourth, which is a Saturday eight o'clock seventh Central. 00:48:25 Speaker 3: Actually wait for us to review it. 00:48:27 Speaker 1: So yeah, so this is the thing. 00:48:28 Speaker 2: So on Messy Monday, Breaking News, Raine Johnson Boopies, Messy Mondays is now going to be about Love and Marriage Huntsville, Doctor Habiley and Carlos King is going to on a weekly basis recap every Monday the latest episode of Love and Marriage Huntsville.
