Susan, how are you are you still freezing down there? 00:00:16 Speaker 2: It's not only cold, it's the aches and pains from shoveling. I'm telling you, I have two sons that didn't show up. 00:00:24 Speaker 1: Oh so I'm in Austin stay still at my daughter's house and we've all we have is ice, and we have no salt and no plows. 00:00:31 Speaker 3: So I'm in the Nordest to come. 00:00:34 Speaker 1: Thank God for vodka. It doesn't freeze. 00:00:38 Speaker 2: Today's going to be a good day because we have two very special guests returning to Golden Hour. Please welcome from season ten of Paradise, Bailly and Jeremy. 00:00:49 Speaker 3: Hi guys, Welcome. 00:00:51 Speaker 1: Hey guys, good to see you. I gotta say that both of your smiles. I loved you on Paradise. But Billy, if it's even possible, well you have gotten prettier. And Jeremy, you don't have resting bitch face anymore. You've got a smile face, a totally different face. 00:01:10 Speaker 4: Every day you would tell me to smile more so I do it just for you. 00:01:13 Speaker 1: I know you're so handsome, you are so handsome, So thank you for smiling. 00:01:19 Speaker 3: You just look so much more comfortable in your own skin. 00:01:21 Speaker 1: Right now, You're glowing, Bailey, Bailey's glowing. 00:01:25 Speaker 5: Oh it might be the ring light that I like put on but still been it might be my boyfriend. 00:01:33 Speaker 1: All right, Well, let's just say first of all, I truly am really happy to see both of you, guys. I spend a lot of time with you on in Paradise and I love you both. But there's so much we want to discuss. We're just gonna get right. 00:01:45 Speaker 3: I know we have a million questions. 00:01:47 Speaker 1: My first one is how has life changed for you guys since leaving Paradise together. I know it's a big question. 00:01:56 Speaker 4: I mean, obviously we are in a great relationship now, so that's makes life a million times better. But I think on a day to day it's pretty much the same. 00:02:04 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:02:05 Speaker 3: But we're getting together right, Yeah. 00:02:08 Speaker 5: So yeah, we're back. I'm back and forth between New York and Atlanta. We I do have a closet. We have a closet going on, so I have stuff in the closet. I have lots of my stuff here. Actually I'll have to send you guys photos so you can see just how I have here, But I feel like, yeah, I feel like we have enjoyed life so much more after the show together and just you know, being able to spend time with in real time. 00:02:35 Speaker 3: That's you know, you're not in that bubble and you're not in. 00:02:38 Speaker 5: A bubble after the show aired. It just feels like things have calmed down, and I feel like, now we just enjoy. 00:02:45 Speaker 1: So tell me, how is your relationship grown? Because obviously you two enjoy each other how, but how's your relationship actually grown? 00:02:54 Speaker 5: I mean I feel like, yeah, I'll take it, I'll take it. I feel like as far as how's it grown, I just feel like every day we I mean, I feel like the whole point of it is like every day you just like fall more in love, you know what I mean. We're learning more things about each other now, we've fully met families, We did holidays, We got to like surprise his grandparents for Honaka night one, which was like so amazing. We just happened to be in Florida for the first night of Hanica, so that was really cool because that was my first like Honicah. Ever, and honestly, I haven't gotten to meet his grandparents yet, so I feel like that was really awesome. And then yeah, we fully met families, and then he came to Georgia and we did all Christmas in Atlanta, and we did a bunch of kookie things with my family, and we've just been like busy. Yeah, we spend it almost. 00:03:42 Speaker 4: Like we've essentially been in like a five year relationship at this point. 00:03:45 Speaker 5: Yeah, Like sometimes I forget that we haven't been dating for years. I feel like Paradise moves things along very quickly. And then I feel like the biggest thing for us is after Paradise has really just been like spending time together. And I mean I feel like we kind of did really get to know each other really well and inside and out, but like just you know, confirming like you know everything else. 00:04:10 Speaker 3: So it looks perfect to me. 00:04:12 Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I gotta say, yeah, you guys look very and like I said, I knew you from the beginning, you look so comfortable together. 00:04:22 Speaker 5: I think we're really comfortable. I think that was one thing we did on Paradise that it wasn't really shown, but we spent so much time like sitting in silence with each other. I think when our brains were kind of just like fried after some of the challenges. But I feel like we just actually really enjoy spending a lot of time together and we really do like we just. 00:04:42 Speaker 3: Do get along. 00:04:44 Speaker 5: Yeah, we just we really like to do a lot of the same things. So I feel like that's been really nice because anytime that we can't work to. 00:04:50 Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the most that you're apart, Like when you go back to Atlanta, is it? 00:04:55 Speaker 4: Yeah, or like someone will need to travel to another place. 00:04:59 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:04:59 Speaker 4: I think the longest we were apart was for like three weeks back in like September two October. 00:05:06 Speaker 5: Yeah, I was in China, so in Abu Dhabi, So I was like away from work. That was long and the time zones that was really rough. Yeah, and I was just tired. 00:05:16 Speaker 4: So we're usually not apart. 00:05:19 Speaker 5: Yeah, we really do try to spend I love this. 00:05:22 Speaker 1: It's amazing. So tell me, like, at thirty seconds or less, give me an average day, what does it look like for you two. 00:05:28 Speaker 3: Together, weekday or weekend. 00:05:31 Speaker 1: I don't care. Pick a day. 00:05:33 Speaker 5: Now he's back at work, so he's at work during the day. So if we're here in New York, he wakes up super early, like five am, and then he goes to the gym, he says, drinks coffee, and then he wakes me up after he comes back from the gym, and then kind of like sit on the couch until you know, he gets ready to go to work, and just spend that morning with each other. And then he goes to work. I usually, hear, I try to do pilates, but I haven't really been that much. And then yeah, I'm usually just like working from home, and then we come home with each other and around five, yeah, we do dinner. I don't cook, though, so he usually. 00:06:13 Speaker 1: That's why I love you, Bailey. We share that in common. We have a question. Are you working for she doesn't cook? Are you working full time in New York? Now? 00:06:22 Speaker 4: Yeah, I've always been working full. 00:06:24 Speaker 1: Time, but you're not. But you don't travel for work? 00:06:27 Speaker 4: No? No? 00:06:28 Speaker 1: Yeah, what kind of work do you do? 00:06:32 Speaker 4: Real estate? Property management? 00:06:33 Speaker 1: Okay, just in the city, right, just in the city. 00:06:39 Speaker 4: Been here. 00:06:41 Speaker 5: I know he's kind of ready to get out of the city. 00:06:43 Speaker 1: So that Oh, they're reading my mind. So we're going to get to like the future, But would you too, ever consider I don't like move to let's say Atlanta, Like, are you guys thinking about moving somewhere. 00:06:55 Speaker 4: I mean, I think at like currently, at this point in time, there's so much known. We're kind of just playing it day by day. I think we're both open and moving to a few places. I'm kind of sick of New York to be honest. It's obviously better with her and going to events and stuff. 00:07:10 Speaker 3: But somewhere warm, Yeah, in a city. 00:07:14 Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm in the city. 00:07:16 Speaker 1: Well let me just tell you. I would tell you move to Austin, but it's about twenty six degrees out right now, so you know, maybe. 00:07:22 Speaker 5: Not, Which is like, we do really like Atlanta, and I love like my neighborhood that I grew up. 00:07:28 Speaker 1: It's fabulous. 00:07:29 Speaker 5: Oh I love Atlanta. I love my house, Like honestly, in a few years, like nobody is going to live in my house, So I don't know, we could always That's kind of I feel like our backup plan. But I feel like I would really like to have good weather and just like more sunshine. Yeah, and maybe. 00:07:47 Speaker 3: Just get out of the city. 00:07:49 Speaker 5: Yeah, this is a little bit more room. 00:07:52 Speaker 1: And do you see a lot of bachelor people in New York City that live there? 00:07:56 Speaker 4: Sorry? What was it? 00:07:57 Speaker 1: Do you see a lot of any of the Batchelor folks who live in New York City. 00:08:02 Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean we see uh doing and charity a lot. Yeah, yeah, and obviously a lot of people come and visit. There were a few who like moved out of New York. Yeah, trying to think. 00:08:14 Speaker 5: I just saw Zoe and Seraphina. So I just had dinner with Serafina. It was actually supposed to be meet Zoe, Lexi and Seraphina, but trips come up, things come up. So yeah, I really keep up with a lot of our friends, but I feel like we're all kind of like spread out, so it's like kid But anytime we do end up like going to a few events a week, and I feel like that's where we usually end up running into our friends. 00:08:37 Speaker 2: And then like there's not like specific couples from Paradise that you hang out with. 00:08:44 Speaker 5: Well, everyone's nobody's maybe Jonathan. 00:08:49 Speaker 1: Who did you say? 00:08:50 Speaker 5: Who? No, I feel like we just like keep up with everybody, but everyone's like far nobody's from couples from Paradise. No one's in the city. Yeah, everyone's well what it is just like Spenser in Texas. 00:09:09 Speaker 1: Yeah, there are three hours from me. 00:09:10 Speaker 5: Alex and Andrew do long distance. So there. 00:09:13 Speaker 1: I thought they moved in Chicago. 00:09:17 Speaker 5: Oh maybe, I don't know. 00:09:20 Speaker 3: I see how you're keeping up. 00:09:23 Speaker 5: I feel like keeping up is like we have each other on close friends and we like swipe up to stories we do. We have like a group message with Leah that we frequently all text in, and I feel like I keep up with. 00:09:34 Speaker 1: Okay, you do know Leah has a boyfriend? Now? 00:09:37 Speaker 5: Yes she I well, I don't. Yeah, she posted this right, Okay, it was like it's. 00:09:42 Speaker 1: On our podcast. It's good. Do you think that there's any misconceptions that you know people might still have about your relationship or do you think that ship is sale? Or if you do think there are misconceptions, what are they? 00:10:03 Speaker 4: Were there ever misconceptions? 00:10:06 Speaker 1: I love you, Jeremy. You shouldn't you should have been a lawyer. You know, he really should Seriously. 00:10:14 Speaker 4: I did do mock trial in high school. 00:10:15 Speaker 1: Oh, I'm not shocked, and I did debate, which is why you know you and. 00:10:20 Speaker 4: I huh, I'm not shocked either. 00:10:23 Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I know. I love you, Jeremy. So okay, so he's done. 00:10:28 Speaker 5: Well. Misconceptions, I feel like not really anymore. I feel like at this point, I feel like we've gotten a few platforms to kind of show like who we are. 00:10:39 Speaker 3: You know, it's real, It's very real. 00:10:42 Speaker 5: That much online we kind of just like give updates of like where we are and you know, what we've been doing after a while. But yeah, I feel like, I mean, at this point, we would only be dating if we like actually loved each other, you know what I mean. 00:10:55 Speaker 1: Listen there, I don't remember who Bailey, but I know there were a couple of people. Honestly, I would tell you, but I can't remember who said. The ones they were worried about not making it were you two and Cat and Dale, and as we know, Cat and Dale broke up. But I just want to say there were so many couples, you guys, Spencer and Jess and and Alex and Andrew. Like Paradise was really a success, you guys. 00:11:26 Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like and you still voted us home. 00:11:28 Speaker 5: Yeah, you know he's not gonna. 00:11:31 Speaker 1: Listen, Jeremy, I love you. I love you, And because I did debate and I almost also went to law school, you would have voted me off for the same reason. We're gonna let it go. Because I love voted yourself. There, you go, I do the right thing. I'm an ethical person exactly. 00:11:54 Speaker 5: I feel like Paradise was really successful, but I think Paradise in general is successful just because you spend so much time with each other. 00:12:04 Speaker 1: Not for me, Bailey, but keep talking. 00:12:06 Speaker 5: Yeah, it was kind of part I think for the Goldens. 00:12:09 Speaker 1: I think it was, but it was still fun. 00:12:11 Speaker 5: And also you guys are kind of taking care of us. So it was like, and i'll tell you, mom, dadding like it was a lot. 00:12:17 Speaker 1: When I came home, my daughter said to me, ask me about that, and I said, I don't think you get it unless you were there seeing and watching you guys fall in love and being there. I am telling you as a mom, it like warms my heart and as a mother. Do we have any engagement plans? You know? Because I need to know. 00:12:39 Speaker 5: Oh not yet. 00:12:40 Speaker 3: I think we talk about it. 00:12:42 Speaker 5: We're young. 00:12:43 Speaker 4: No, if there were any plans, I would have taken the free ring on the show. 00:12:49 Speaker 3: So either one of you you just know you're in love. 00:12:52 Speaker 5: Yeah. I think we're just enjoying, Like we're not in a rush to get engaged. I feel like we're just enjoying time. And I don't know there's there's no rush. 00:13:01 Speaker 1: I mean I love that that there is no us. But I also loved I have to say, Susan, I know these two their smiles. Bail Euro was gorgeous with a smile, but Jeremy, wipe that smile off your face. 00:13:15 Speaker 3: I love seeing him smile because I watched your stone face. 00:13:20 Speaker 1: So if your parent's been supportive, everybody's supportive of your relationship, supportive. 00:13:24 Speaker 2: I feel like, tell me you guys were at Charity's Big weight. 00:13:29 Speaker 3: She called it a golden birthday. There's nothing golden about that. 00:13:33 Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, I learned out. I learned what a golden birthday is. It's when your birthday it matches the year. If you turned twenty six, yes, on the twenty sixth of the month, whatever, Well she turned thirty on the thirtieth of December. 00:13:50 Speaker 3: So was it a blast? 00:13:52 Speaker 4: Oh yeah. It was kind of a very last minute thing. And they got a good little deal with the Palms. And I've never been to Vegas, so dot And hit me up and was like, hey, you just need to pay for your flight. Did you win No, So i'd happened to We were on a cruise before and I happened to win money. At the casino. So then I was like, okay, I'll just buy the flights. 00:14:15 Speaker 1: A guy. 00:14:16 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:14:17 Speaker 5: Yeah, I lost all my money. I actually was up at one point. I was playing with all the guys and I had like. 00:14:22 Speaker 1: What were you playing? What were you playing? 00:14:24 Speaker 5: Blackjack? So that's what you play. So I feel like all the guys were playing blackjack. We did get to play like slots and stuff. I don't know. I don't know if gambling is really my thing. 00:14:33 Speaker 1: Okay, very important, Jeremy. Do you play blackjack? 00:14:36 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:14:36 Speaker 5: I do. 00:14:37 Speaker 1: What do you do if you're sitting with thirteen what do they have? They're showing a six? 00:14:46 Speaker 4: You stand? You let them bust. 00:14:48 Speaker 1: He knows this game, you're right, you're right, So your game. I know the rules of blackchack. But I can't give away money. I just can't. I can't do. 00:14:58 Speaker 5: It, Like I don't want to lose my money. 00:15:01 Speaker 1: I want to say I'd rather have a nice jacket. 00:15:05 Speaker 3: I cry afterwards. I can't believe how stupid I am. 00:15:09 Speaker 5: I don't know. And then I was like I should have just walked away when I was up, And then I was like, dang, I just like lost all that money. It wasn't. 00:15:15 Speaker 2: Actually they were a big party, like the night of they really like did it up for us? 00:15:21 Speaker 4: Whoever was in charge of. 00:15:22 Speaker 1: Playing We weren't invited, Susan, We don't know. 00:15:24 Speaker 3: I can't believe Charity did not. 00:15:26 Speaker 4: The hotel room was one of like the craziest thing I've ever seen, beautiful floors. 00:15:31 Speaker 1: Like wow. So when I have a question, you guys know, what what do you think about Charity and Rachel taking over a bachelor a happy hour? 00:15:42 Speaker 5: I'm really excited for them. I would absolutely love to come on. I feel like, I think that it's always good to have like a fresh perspective. And I also feel like going into the new Bachelorette season, I feel like since they were both Bachelorettes, they're going to be able to just like really what I said, So I feel like it's going to be really good. I obviously like we love Joe and Serena, and we actually like we loved being on their podcast with them. We feel really comfortable with them. I feel like Jeremy also enjoyed his like solo podcast that he did with them remember in person. 00:16:13 Speaker 4: Oh yeah, So. 00:16:15 Speaker 5: I feel like, I mean, I love them. I also feel like the switch was would be really cool just for this upcoming season in particular. And I feel like they're both like really fun and they have good energy, so I'm personally like really excited. I mean, I love, like, you know, icons girls queens like. 00:16:31 Speaker 1: Yay, I haven't heard you say queens. 00:16:33 Speaker 5: I've been waiting queen yet, but we're gonna get it. I feel like the queen is coming for when we give advice, because it's like we're. 00:16:41 Speaker 1: Going to Bailey when we are queens. Were Let me just tell you, Bailey in Paradise called me queen all the time. But I just loved watching like her do her hair and put on her makeup all them. It's like I just sat there enthralled with it. And again, you don't disappoint today, Harry. 00:17:01 Speaker 5: I feel like Alex and I both love when you would come in our room and sit with us. Honestly, I think we all enjoyed just having people in our rooms. I don't think we enjoyed being alone at all. I feel like no one on Paradise really enjoyed being alone in any moment, so I feel like it was just kind of nice. We were all getting. 00:17:17 Speaker 1: Ready to Yeah, but you have to understand as a mom and a grandmother watching you guys, my daughter's like, Mom, you're so weird. But watching you guys like get to put together your makeup and your hair and your jewelry and pick out your clothes. 00:17:33 Speaker 5: Like to me, it was like some like bangers of outfits. Okay, so you you came with the clothes. 00:17:40 Speaker 1: Like, oh you're so I didn't, But did you not? 00:17:44 Speaker 5: I feel like you guys had the same dress. Who there was a moment where you and Alicia had like a similar outfit or something. I feel like you came, you came with without. 00:17:52 Speaker 1: We did have the same dress, Yeah, I remember, but we did have the same dress and hers was ten sizes smaller. 00:18:00 Speaker 5: But yes, oh that's that's true. 00:18:04 Speaker 2: No, I want to know what did your friends think of him and Jeremy? 00:18:10 Speaker 3: What did your friends think of her? 00:18:12 Speaker 1: Good question? 00:18:14 Speaker 4: My friends love her, but I think they just trusted me, so like if they're some of some of my best friends actually still haven't met her because like they live wherever, but it's like they already know who she is. They fully trust me, and the ones who have met her love her and they always say she's like the easiest person to be around and have a conversation. 00:18:35 Speaker 1: I will, I will toast to that you are and tell you never you didn't get into it, but tell us about parents and sibly it's oh yeah, I. 00:18:42 Speaker 5: Feel like like my friends trust me too. When we his second time coming to Atlanta, we did like a little mini like pickleball day, and so all of my friends from like college and just like adult life, some of my childhood friends. I feel like that was really nice because they all got to come and meet him, and they like loved his energy. He did not get off the pickle ball court. He was forcing, like actually every single person to play. My friends were like heavy breathing in the corner. They were like, oh, he's like really, I'm like he's so. 00:19:14 Speaker 1: Wait, Jeremy, you're a serious pickleball player. 00:19:17 Speaker 5: Oh any activity serious? 00:19:19 Speaker 4: I mean I played tennis, so pickleball is like. 00:19:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, I have a pick a ball court in my neighborhood. Why don't you guys for the weekend. 00:19:29 Speaker 5: To Austin? 00:19:29 Speaker 1: Should we wait? Excuse me? Did I invite you? Did I invite you guys? Anytime? 00:19:37 Speaker 5: You just tell me let's go in April or something. 00:19:40 Speaker 1: I think you are so welcome I don't cook though, that is the problem. 00:19:44 Speaker 3: We can but. 00:19:46 Speaker 1: Maybe Susan you can come and you invite me. Oh, Susan's a great cut. Serious, I'm serious, you guys. I would love you know, because Katie and zachlib here is so we could all get together and Susan will cook for us. It'll be perfect. 00:20:02 Speaker 5: Would I would love that. 00:20:07 Speaker 3: He's like a tour guide when you go to Austin. 00:20:11 Speaker 2: Where the dome is, you know where the cap is, where the lake is. 00:20:16 Speaker 1: I just want you to see the city when I want to. 00:20:18 Speaker 5: I like to like have a tour of the city when I come. 00:20:21 Speaker 1: You want to shop? Do you want to shop? Okay, well wait, let me just back up here. 00:20:27 Speaker 3: Damage such serious damage. 00:20:30 Speaker 1: Season Nancy Joan came and spent a weekend with me, and I wanted to like play pickleball and show them the capital and walk on the lake. And they're like, and Sty'll like, yeah, where's the great shopping. So we spent a fortune shopping. 00:20:46 Speaker 5: That next trip. 00:20:47 Speaker 3: Whatever, you guys, well, we're going to do it annually. 00:20:50 Speaker 1: So yeah, but I'm deadly serious. You guys are absolutely welcome. As long as Jeremy smiles. 00:20:58 Speaker 3: He will as long as to give them a pickle ball. 00:21:01 Speaker 5: Of course it will be. 00:21:04 Speaker 1: I just want to say, I'm looking at your kitchen behind me, and your kitchen looks like mine. That is not used. 00:21:13 Speaker 4: Sall. 00:21:14 Speaker 5: I mean it's New York. But I feel like he just he cooked twice. 00:21:18 Speaker 3: You cook, he cooks doesn't so I have to I guess. So do you guys still go on? Do you go on dates? 00:21:31 Speaker 4: Not as much as we should. Yeah, Like whenever we get back from traveling, we just like don't want to leave the. 00:21:38 Speaker 3: Cat yeah, plus winter it's cold. 00:21:40 Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, we we try to, Like I feel like, go to dinner once. We obviously like order in a lot, which is like a really. 00:21:47 Speaker 1: Bad with you with you. 00:21:49 Speaker 5: I feel like that's kind of like a date night. 00:21:50 Speaker 6: Like we've been watching the Marvel movies in order because I've never seen them, and so I I feel like every time we're like should we go out to and we have been like going out to dinner with like friends, Like we just had dinner with his sister and her husband. 00:22:05 Speaker 1: And wait, wait does your sister live in New York? 00:22:08 Speaker 4: Jeremy live in New York? 00:22:09 Speaker 5: Oh wow, okay, yeah, well you asked a question about family. 00:22:13 Speaker 1: What was the question, Well, my question was what did what did family think? Like, you know, your you're meeting them, like is this the person like I drilled my children? Well they're all married now, but when they brought home, it's like, okay, is this do I have to spend time? Like how serious? 00:22:29 Speaker 4: Is this a good shot? 00:22:31 Speaker 5: Oh? Yeah, I mean this is so okay, this is this is what happened. So you know where I'm from the South, Okay, Now I live in Georgia. So after Christmas, my brother who hunts, took us. My great aunt was in town and she wanted to go to the gun range, and so we all as a family went to the gun range and we took Jeremy. It was really crazy. I feel like, that's such a crazy thing to do with. 00:23:00 Speaker 1: How did you do on that one, Jeremy, You're great? 00:23:03 Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it was a big barger range and it was also like I've never used these guns before. They're like Afghanistan. 00:23:12 Speaker 5: I mean, okay, you know, Georgia is Georgia, but uh yeah, it was intense. But he didn't. 00:23:18 Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say, Bailey, you got to stop saying this about Georgia because I lived in Georgia. 00:23:22 Speaker 5: I lived in Athens, and you do have any rule. 00:23:25 Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't think of you as a Georgia girl. I think you're way more of a New York Chicago girl just saying I, okay, definitely a buckhead. 00:23:35 Speaker 5: I'm a buckhead girl raised like, and. 00:23:38 Speaker 1: I'll give you. Did you give each other Christmas gifts? 00:23:48 Speaker 3: We did? 00:23:48 Speaker 5: So. I gave him his gifts a little bit early and then on Christmas he had a gift for Yeah, so we did gifts that way. 00:23:57 Speaker 1: So what were they? 00:23:59 Speaker 4: So? 00:23:59 Speaker 5: He me this like custom jewelry like leather case because I'm always throwing my jewelry around every which was like, so it's like a travel one. 00:24:10 Speaker 1: Really pretty lest that's Jeremy thumbs up for that one. 00:24:14 Speaker 5: Actually, I'm then he got my mom a gift, he got my siblings a gift. I feel like he got my brother like a camo hat and your help. 00:24:26 Speaker 3: He did it on his own. 00:24:28 Speaker 5: I didn't help him. 00:24:28 Speaker 1: Like, so wait, Susan, I'm gonna tell you, Jeremy. Look at him. He's just sitting there like, but he is. I'm giving you a compliment. Near Jeremy. He is a kind, sweet guy. We had Hakeim on in another episode, and he and he was saying, you know, men, his advice man was like, just be who you are, be authentically yourself. And I think, Jeremy, You've got this really sweet side to you that people don't see, but I see it. 00:24:59 Speaker 4: Thank you. Kathy. 00:25:00 Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, he like has a wall. 00:25:02 Speaker 1: I know, but I see it. I see the sweet side. And although I just want to point out to everyone who may be listening, the five people who are listening to this podcast, I did not get a Hanukkah or Christmas gift from you, Jeremy. 00:25:17 Speaker 4: You know what if you if you voted us through and we won half a million or one hundred and eighty, could. 00:25:26 Speaker 1: You had eight gifts? Let me just say, Susan help me here. I am never going to live this down with Jeremy. He is forever. Ever. You know, most people who talk about Bachelor in Paradise, you know what most of them say, Jeremy. You know, Kathy, you and Keith were so great that you said publicly that you would not take the money from the young ones, which we wouldn't do. Like I literally had people stop me Jeremy and say, come on, they made you say that. I said, no, no one made me. 00:26:01 Speaker 5: Oh, you guys really meant honestly, Like Keith and I were just texting like two days ago, and I hope maybe when we're in LA we'll have time to like see him while we're out there. 00:26:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, when you do ask him, why doesn't answer my text? Thank you? 00:26:14 Speaker 5: I know what he and then he will look at me and say, Bailey, you don't answer my text. And I feel like he texted me at such a random time. I text him in the middle of the night because I was in Europe, and I was like, I'm sorry, I just realized it's three morning, and you know, Dad, he had his probably he probably has all his text notifications on. He was just like waking up and I text in sentences, so I like, send the text. 00:26:35 Speaker 1: I love it all. So, Babe, I have another very personal question that everyone cares about. Your mother liss in Portugal. Right, Yes, I'm going to Portugal in May. When in May I am going? I am going. Are you going to be there in May? 00:26:52 Speaker 5: Well, we don't know. So it's Jeremy's birthday on the nineteenth. 00:26:54 Speaker 1: So that was my wedding anniversary. We had this conversation I'm going to be in Portugal from May eighteenth to the twenty fourth, I believe, with my sister, my daughter, and my niece. 00:27:09 Speaker 5: Okay, wait do you I'm gonna have to give you like a whole list of. 00:27:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, we gotta talk. We got to. Yeah, we have. 00:27:15 Speaker 5: I have like a giant list that my sister created because you know, my sister and my mom both live in Portugal. 00:27:20 Speaker 1: And where do they live? In Portugal? 00:27:23 Speaker 5: So we're in Owaitish, which is it's kind of like a Lisbon suburbs in between Lisbon and cash Gueist, So it's like a twenty it's like twenty minutes from the airport. 00:27:32 Speaker 1: We're going to Lisbon. In Porto. 00:27:34 Speaker 5: Oh, we went to That's what we did. Yeah, so we did Lisbon, we did cash Guays and then we did Porto. 00:27:39 Speaker 3: Okay, what was your favorite? What's your favorite part? 00:27:44 Speaker 5: Oh? I honestly I loved Porto. I always suggest that everybody, do. 00:27:49 Speaker 1: You seriously send me a list of stuff? 00:27:51 Speaker 5: I will because we did like this half day wine tour and it was so nice. 00:27:55 Speaker 1: I will have to be at wine. 00:27:56 Speaker 5: It was. It was so nice, but it was so funny because we were like, oh, we're not going to get in trouble. Like we can walk around Portugal and like people won't notice us, and then like our first day walking around and Lisbon. 00:28:08 Speaker 1: Like to wait, is there a chance, Bailey, is there a chance you guys will be there? 00:28:14 Speaker 5: I don't know we actually could, because since we're in New York, it's so easy to pop over. And at some point I usually take my dog and drop her off in Portugal and then when I come back, I'll come back and grab her in a little bit. So yeah, we've kind of got to figure out. But that would be so fun. I feel like you guys are gonna have I love Porto. I'm really okay. I'm gonna send you like a whole list of everything, a lot of shopping, a lot of good shopping. 00:28:40 Speaker 1: Oh god, shopping that's for suitable. Do you remember that I'm not a shopper. 00:28:46 Speaker 4: I will send you a Portugal. 00:28:47 Speaker 1: Listen, listen, thank you, thank you. Jeremy. 00:28:50 Speaker 5: Don't you think your daughter's going to want to shop your sister? 00:28:52 Speaker 1: Well, if my daughter shops, I'm paying for it, so try to avoid that. You don't even know this. Wait, can I just say to you be cause I said to them. I was waiting until we got around to this part of the podcast. My daughter, I'm staying here because of the ice storm, with my daughter and my son in law and my granddaughter and Kate. My daughter Caitlyn said to me, wait, Mom, you're going to London and you're going to Portugal. And I said, yeah, she goes Uh can I come? Translation, Susan, If I booked the ticket and I pay for the shopping and the airbeam, why wouldn't she come? Right? 00:29:35 Speaker 5: This is Kathy. I think you and my mom might have a lot in common. 00:29:39 Speaker 1: That I would love to meet your mother. 00:29:41 Speaker 5: My mom just met me in Berlin and in London, and I was like, yes, I did a I'm just shopping my life. 00:29:50 Speaker 1: I was like, yes, okay, you brought it up. I was going to let you off the hook. Bailey Jeremy, I want you to weigh in on this, Susan. You know how you love to s right, Yes, okay. Bailey one of the Bailey has a perfect figure, She has beautiful clothes, she is she loves to shop, she is exquisite. I mean truly. You know I've said that about you. Okay. Her home in Atlanta has buckets and buckets of clothing. Am I right, Bailey? 00:30:21 Speaker 5: Yeah, in the basement. 00:30:22 Speaker 3: She should get rid of anything. 00:30:24 Speaker 1: Bailey, No, this is hard. 00:30:26 Speaker 4: I'm rid of what what? 00:30:30 Speaker 5: Okay? No, I'm not getting rid of ninety percent of that. I think here's the problem. So I think, let's like flash back to before the show. So before the show, I use I still do this obviously, but before the show, I shot fashion and skin and care content. So I've always just naturally had tons of clothes. I've always enjoyed shopping. I think everyone has their vice mine shopping, and I hoard things because a lot of times things come back in style, even for Paradise, Like I know, people love to like link their clothes and things. And then I realized that Paradise, I couldn't link any of my outfits because I was wearing clothes that I had just saved. I had shot, like some of my dresses were like five years old, and I had just saved them because I was like, I'm gonna need this one day. And so that's the problem. I think a lot of the boxes, so the goal is to go home, organize it into things I actually want to save, and then you know, I my sister's going to go through it all. 00:31:30 Speaker 2: My friends like that on boxes. 00:31:34 Speaker 5: Well, no, they're everywhere. It's in everyone's room. I'm not wait, it's in the guest room. It's in my little sister's room because she hasn't lived there. It's in my mom's closet, so where my dad's clothes were. I took that over. And then in the basement there's boxes. 00:31:56 Speaker 1: She's telling this Wait, Susan, Yeah, I don't like to shop. This girl is telling me on in Paradise about the the boxes there shelves in the basement. 00:32:07 Speaker 5: I'm like, wait, you went in the basement. It was. 00:32:11 Speaker 2: Yeah, marked like from the year or the style or how do you know what they're. 00:32:17 Speaker 5: Like labeled like Bailey summer clothes, Bailey winter clothes, Bailey yeah baby content shoes. 00:32:26 Speaker 3: I can relate. I can relate. 00:32:28 Speaker 1: Okay, this feels like a great time to end part one with Bailey and Jeremy. We have so much more to come, so stay tuned for Part two, dropping later this week. See you then, take care
