reason you know, thirty minutes, forty minutes. It was snackable podcast.
But you know, when I started to get really busy, I had two
um booked too good ITAs cut something the original books, but Mark want to
do that Marvel Legends podcast, the original Casualty have booked to good ITAs.
I will say this, Matt always said you'll never do it again. I
knew that I would. I knew that I would, And we've had a
few reunions since we did it. And this is it now. And and
actually there the cool thing about this, and I've said this, It used
to be an audio podcast. You had to link up the podcast. We'd
be talking, we'd have to give you a countdown, you'd have to watch
it on your network. Of with this one, we're gonna do the GCW
match from Hammerstein, and we're gonna show you the match. So you're not

over Now on the indies, I get Squatch Matches made me laugh so hard.
I showed everybody I was with at the time. It was so funny.
Well, you know, he's a great kid. He's the he' said
the last match musical matches your age. I think he's a kid. Well,
Casey Navarro though, he beat me fucking the rubber match, the rubber
match for Appa Junior's uh bpw um incredible promotion. But I kicked out of
Russell Pro. Still still kick out. He's a wrestle pro legend. Really.
Yeah, his mom tried to fight Pat bucket practice. Yeah, did
Pat deserve it? I don't really know. Okay, he's a good kid.
That hell of a had to hell hell hell hell the time. What
about you? You were in the Impact zone Huh. I am like so
exhausted man impact right to cap and running a show. Well, really,
we got to really back it up. Thursday, Crack of Dawn flew to
Chicago way before I needed to be because Papa Bear and I went to the
National Me Papa Bear sign Guy uh sign Guy Dudley Lou Literally, dude.
We walked in backstage Roger Clemens sitting there doing a private signing for Tops,
just banging out cards and Rosco's you want to meet Clemens? We're like yep,
and I'm like, yo, what's up? Rocket dude? He couldn't
have been cooler. Now. It was like right off the bat, like,
holy shit, it was so fucking cool. Got to meet and talked
to dal Strawberry. I mean we saw that. We saw so many people.
I mean I was blown away by this thing, man, Like I
knew it was big. This is big, like crazy crazy, Like I
now I know why you can't do it in a day, Like we were
there from eleven am to four pm and barely scratch the surface. Wow,
it's all cards, both but mainly cars. But think about it. If
it's like figures on the table or you're at a flea mark you're just walking
by looking these are cards. You gotta pick this shit up like people like
people bring little stools and they just like post up. Wow, it's fucking
nuts, dude. And then the signings are like the cream of the crop,
like heavy hitter, like Hall of Famers, like so nuts. Man.
We saw Michael Vick, we saw Barry Sander. I mean it was
fucking nuts. And Kevin Oh, I met Kevin McHale from the famous eightie
Celtics teams marking Wow and hate Me and Eddie Eddie Edwards. I did it
was like speechless marking out me and it was so fucking cool. I said,
hey, man, I'm a Knicks fan. Sorry, he goes,
yeah, he goes yeah. Somebody's got to be big pop for the boys.
Yeah, yeah, it was great. It was just it was it's
unbelieved, Like Paul and I've been trying to go in real life for the
past couple of years and it's all just kind of like fell through our lap.
But it was super cool. Shout out to Ross Foreman from Impact who
was like the man taking us around and getting us stuff, and yeah,
pretty awesome. Um obviously shopping bought a ton of cars as a bunch of
slabs. It's pretty great. Then Actual Impact I had two matches back to
back and this did we run this building in Chicago. It's awesome. Not
very accommodating for the boys, but the fans are so good and they make
it worthwhile. You know, one of those spots and uh, two of
the hottest sweatst matches I've ever had, but two awesome, really fun matches
I'm very proud of, so coming soon on Impact TV. And then I
landed ten am Sunday, JFK. I waited another half hour from my good
friend Effie, he landed, we came back, took him to Bagel Chale
over here all right, And it was and it was creat a pro time
Aaron Rourke and Effie Stole stole the show. Just incredible. It was the
main event. Just awesome, sold out Linbrook, create a show. I
unveiled something I guess we'll probably just do in the ad read coming up later
in the show. But finally, long time coming, big announcement. I'm
just it is a great, great, a whirlwind of long weekend, but
nothing but good stuff. That's great. Cool. And you slept until noon
today, dude, I'm and I'm so, I'm just so. I think
I'm not getting sick. I'm so tired and run down, like that's why
I feel. Yeah, and Mark, You're on Collision Collision Collision this weekend.
Hartford, Actually, I think will probably be the closest AW show to
me, like where I live. Um, I can't see them running Springfield,
so Hartford would probably be the closest. So it's pretty cool to be
like really close to home. Collision A ring of honor, great couple of
shows, great crowds. And I will tell you this. I mentioned this
today on the silver linings. Lately, I have been getting some really heated
silver were balls yells at these shows. Mane like not even like hey silver
balls, Like that's okay, Hey, what's up the nice I know that's
your nickname from the podcast. It's like, sup, geez, I'm just
like, what am I gonna do to that? Like? What you trying?
Yeah? What are you? Are you showing about what we do?
Yeah, it's been crazy, but I appreciate the yells. Nonetheless, everybody's
always shitting on my suits ten cents suits. They'll say, I'm like,
this is a fucking custom David Allen ass all they go, there you go.
But yeah, it was fun. Who had a better suit? You
were Cam this weekend? Honestly, dude, Cam suits are great, Beause
Cam, We're afraid you haven't. All camp suits are great. They're better
than mine. Nextually, he wears like four piece suits. I don't even

All Right, A lot of follow up here. First of all recipes,
pee Wee Herman. Yeah, I know. I was a huge Peewee.
I had all the toys I currently had the whole Peebe's Playhouse. All
the figures Mint in my storage unit. Really yeah, Mint huge part of
my child. I certainly watched the show a lot when I was a kid.
I watched the movie a few times. I loved it. I think
he got a raw deal with the with the cancelation. He was the original
canceled guy because he was jerking off in a movie that everything. Yeah,
but it was a porno movie theater. Oh so you're supposed to be jerking
off as I'm saying. Yeah, got the raw deal literally yeah, with
his deals and he got raw deal. Yeah, I mean recipes Pepman.
I honestly I know him better from the movie Blow than Pee Harman because I
never ever was a peewee guy or watched to play with the toys nothing,
So I was a big peewee fan, had all the toys. Did you
ever see him in Blow? Blow is a great movie, and saw I
saw him. He's a vampire slayer. You never seen Blow? He played
some He played some really great roles outside of people. Yeah, later in
his grip Sure he is DJ Rex, in the uh, the Star Wars
Cantina and in the original Star Tours Ride. Do you know that Mark?

did notice today there was a lot of people that did, you know,
shout out like his influence on them. And you know, a couple of
the people in the group were talking about he was the original sort of big
kid, you know, playing with toys and and um that's good, you
know, collecting things and stuff. So you know, I think that he
had the pee wee heard of the character. I had a lot of influence
on a lot of people, you know, especially our age. So Matt,
did you meet him when he was at raw I feel like I must
have. I was checking like my phone, like maybe I take a picture
with them, But I don't recall. I was either in development in FCW
or on SmackDown and definitely did not. I don't. I don't remember because
I feel like I would remember that. Yeah, uh, this was some
unfortunate news. Did you see this Bunco stickers scandal? No, only what
you explained or you asked in the group, And then I I got lost
on the thread a little bit. I still don't want to butcher it because
I didn't do the proper research, but basically, like, for instance,
like my zach Ryder WrestleMania Funco pop, there's two stickers on it. There's
one that's the New York Comic Con Exclusive and there's one that says shared exclusive.
That goes like fa. They do that a lot. Yeah, that's
common. So at their their fun days at Center Comic Con, you know,
they were, they always give out these rare Funco pops. And I'm
making up the number here. Let's just say it's an out of two hundred.
So people are like flipping out. Then of course they're flipping them,
literally flipping them. People are buying them at these astronomical prices. But then
they're like the same figure, just like a out of two thousand stickers poping
up. So people are going nuts about it, like it wasn't said in
advance. It wasn't said in advance that they're gonna Also it's a different sticker,
right, Yeah, but it's I don't think that's much of a scandal.
I think I feel like they do that with cards sort of. This
is the one of one hundred, yeah, but the cards always at least
gonna be like green or I think the problem is there was no indications,
so they always I'm not a big funk of guy, but so they always
know when there's a share exclusive or whatever. Yes, okay, so slight
deception, I would say. So it's not so for it. Let's just
say it was this Zach Ryder. Oh, I don't need the New York
Comic cud sticker. I'll just wait for the share exclusive as opposed to this
is the only way to get Zach Ryder. Fuck, I gotta pay the
big bucks, right, but to get that two hundred stickers still pretty low,
and that's what you gotta do. So I don't I don't know,
but I think more people than the stinker. Maybe they wouldn't have messed this
up if they didn't lay off all their employees. Well I think I think
maybe they had some employees to be better at communication. Well that that came
after the fact, so it was like the CEO steps down the cenera comic
con schedele. Then they fire more employees. So it's just not looking good.
But at the same time, they still keep putting out awesome like properties
and et Cena comic con. There pops are in the most demand their parties
in the highest demand. It's not like no one's behind these funcos like USA
a comic con. Funko has this giant set up even to this day,
crazy to get into crazy to get the exclusives. So they're doing something right.
But it's right. Yeah. I don't think they're gonna go anywhere really
as a business. I mean they're just because they might have to strip down
and then figure out, you know, what the actual business plan is,
but they'll they'll they'll figure it out, just like baseball cards did, you
know, just like a lot of industries like that did. There's still so
much interest and there's definitely uh you know, they've so the tests of time.
These aren't like some fad like Beatie babies. I mean, it's been
almost If I think it's been a decade where Funko Pops have been like a
thing, I think it's been more. I was gonna say that's it.
Well know the company has been a roller, but I think I mean,
I think the popularity has been over ten years for sure. I would say
it's it's it's kind of it's got to be kind of close. Ye,
So listen, I still like phone goes. I don't collect him like I
did, but I still have some of my collection I built. Bro.
I feel like there's there's like possibly millions of people like you who was all
in and then one day looks to the right and sees an entire wall full
of these things and realizing what the hell am I doing? And it wasn't
only that, it was like it's not going to end. Yeah, exactly
the problem that was, so you really think out of the box guy,
Yeah, yeah, in the box. I know. I remember George from
the major pod network game Marks podcast. He was would collect pops every now
and again. He keeps them in the box, so there, you know,
go over there, Yeah, it'd be ten of them. Oh yeah,
this is pop collection. You know, next time is twenty, And
all of a sudden it's like an entire wall of a room. And then
that's looking like, okay, maybe you're a hoarder. So right right,
I don't know what he's done with his pops. I got to a point
where I had close to a thousand, and like you couldn't see who was
on that shelf hint of these. Yeah, but if anyone has the deets
on the specifics of what happened with that sticker, please let me know and

matter of the fan base having the funds and the real estate to invest in
something like that, right. I think it's the real estate and being used
to having that real estate like we fans. Sure, over time we buy
a couple of rings, a couple like nine real scale entrances. We're not
used to buying a big fucking thing like that. No, as opposed to
Gijoe fans, Star Wars fans, Thundercasts fans, they're used to that stuff.
They've they've had a whole generation, multiple generations, surprising one because they
ThunderCats haven't had that much merch as compared to like Gijoe and Star Wars.

One of six scale Batman figures, so I picked up this Batman Forever val
kilim Or figure. The details are so realistic. This is one of,

and poses, it is pretty incredible. I also snagged a Batman Begins Christian
Bail figure a few days ago, which will be arriving shortly. Really looking
forward to having an incarnation of every Batman from all the films. Pretty cool.

a Disney cruise to celebrate their birthdays. It was seven days on the Disney
Magic. We went to Kazumel, swam with dolphins, Grand came in Jamaica
and Castaway Say Castaway k The kids must have thanked me ten times a day
and said it was the most amazing vagastion of advice. I think I would
love to do this. You've never done one, Broski. I want to
do it. After doing Jacko Cruise and my wife liked it, and I
liked it, and we've done Disney. I feel like it will be a

if I have great advice for this, because I think I just like kind
of black out and like can numb a lot of the things that would bother

that I do and I've talked about many times, like typically on the Independence,
they'll get like some some guy to pick you up, drive you around

And I just eat the rental car costs and I writ my own car and

STL's there, she's with me. I don't want to be in the car

It was Tokyo to Chicago, and I had first class like lay all

to get up and ask for my old glass of wine because the stewardess didn't
come around enough like the back of the bus. She's all the way at
the back. But but then travel issues. Look what happened? Did we
land in Chicago? Our fucking plane can't fight you know, there's no gate
available, so we're just sitting on this fucking plane. Sitting on this plane.
We're about to miss our fucking layover to get home. There's no other
flight home. We're just gone for a week. At that point, it's
royal rumble, every man for himself. I made it and Steph didn't.
Wait, how did you make it? And she didn't because she was first
class? Just got off. That's not that's not what happened. Yes,
that is what happened, but we had no no, we had to go
to different lines. First of all, my this is my fault. First
of all, I've clear taper everything, but my global entry ran out.
So you can cut the customs line if you have global entry or nexus.
I didn't have my ran out, so I'm waiting on this line. But

so like I made it. I was like, well, I can't.

pal dead. I like to watch shows. I just finished Um Succession.
It's great. It's so good, such a great show, four seasons.
And actually to frownd out this thing, I think a lot. I mean,
it's one of the main things I love about wrestling is the camaraderie.
Like I love nothing more than getting a bunch of clause and talking about the
show and bullshitting with the boys after and like Impact it's obviously the best for
that. It's just a phenomenal locker room and we all hang out and we
all kind of party together and we all talk shit, and Impact us kind
of makes your day, you know what I mean, Like we like we
just did that last loop too. I worked so hard, dude, I
did seven segs in the two days busting my ass, sweat my ass off,
and then we go back. We're all in the lobby just you know,
having Claus talking about the week at a Dreamer was just down there telling
some of the funniest fucking Timmy Dreamer stories, and well, it's just a
great time, you know. Yeah, that's one thing I missed about Impact
is everyone hanging out after the show, is whether he gets I'm gonna eat
or if iking just sit in that hotel lobby. Great group of just the
whole roster. Its fucking awesome, everybody. Ye love it all right?

to be built? I would love to see the Mania ten entrance with the

yeah, I don't want to be I think like working for Mattel or Jazz
Wars, like a thankless job because like you get everyone's complaints, and if
it's a good job, it's like when els to be thankless, if you're
all it could be something where you're involved in the process. I feel like
that's cool. I don't know, I've I've said, uh, I've I've
sort of made the decision. I don't think that I could ever work for
like a company again, like um, like where you just make this much
money and your job is to make this person rich as possible and you get
nothing from it but maybe a five percent raise every year or something like that.
I can I can never do that again. And also like I just
feel like I'm just gonna no matter what happens, even if this brand,
if there's nothing, no major brand, I'd be pushing on my own thing
because I've just come to realize it's it's almost like a waste of time to
be work making money for other people, Like just make money for yourself.

the fucking and there's other people that we don't really know about or discuss,
