<v Speaker 1>What's up everybody. Welcome to the WWE After Dark Show. <v Speaker 1>My name is Luise Gonzales. <v Speaker 2>I am your. <v Speaker 1>Host for the week, and yes, this week we're going <v Speaker 1>to talk about some wrestling. We're going to talk a <v Speaker 1>little bit about my life. This is an after Dark <v Speaker 1>and then we're going to wrap it up a quick <v Speaker 1>twenty to get you in and out. Last week I <v Speaker 1>talked about how I was going to talk about this <v Speaker 1>week about how many times can I say about take <v Speaker 1>a shot? <v Speaker 2>Every time I say it? <v Speaker 1>No, I'm going to talk about the handicap match between <v Speaker 1>Stone Colt, Steve Austin and Him versus Undertaker and Cain <v Speaker 1>for the WWF Championship at the pay per view match <v Speaker 1>Breakdown in nineteen ninety eight. <v Speaker 2>I said I was going to do that last week. <v Speaker 2>Things were crazy last week. <v Speaker 1>And again, you know, life finds a way to keep <v Speaker 1>you busy. I'll tell you that right now, Mike. You <v Speaker 1>know this week I had we had to take my <v Speaker 1>cat to the dentist. We had to remove some teeth <v Speaker 1>because if he didn't know it, when cats get older, <v Speaker 1>sometimes they reabsorb into themselves or something. <v Speaker 2>And this is like a phenomenon that they don't know why. <v Speaker 1>Basically, like the body eats its own teeth and causes <v Speaker 1>issues and problems, so we had to take care. <v Speaker 2>We had to take out a couple of teeth. <v Speaker 1>And if you're asking, can they eat dry food with <v Speaker 1>no teeth, yes they can. Surprisingly, I had a cat <v Speaker 1>that we removed all of their teeth and they could <v Speaker 1>still eat dry food fine. But this cat, we didn't <v Speaker 1>remove all of his teeth. He still has some of <v Speaker 1>his teeth. So this week we just spent a lot <v Speaker 1>of time taking care of him, staying with him. We <v Speaker 1>didn't go out anywhere, not that I could afford going <v Speaker 1>out these days, but we stayed home, and which means <v Speaker 1>I stayed home with my wife wonderful, beautiful time, which <v Speaker 1>also means I didn't watch I didn't have any time <v Speaker 1>to watch WWE stuff as much as I wanted to. <v Speaker 1>I watched SmackDown, I did watch Raw, and you know, <v Speaker 1>there was also a new Alien Earth TV show that <v Speaker 1>I wanted to watch. We're reviewing that from my other podcast, <v Speaker 1>Punch Drunk Nerd, and that was last night, and so. <v Speaker 2>I was like, I gotta watch I gotta watch Raw. <v Speaker 1>I gotta watch two episodes of Alien Earth, which is <v Speaker 1>two hours plus. I've been meaning to watch this movie. <v Speaker 1>Weapons it's a horror movie in theaters. When am I <v Speaker 1>going to see it? I do not know so many <v Speaker 1>movies I want to see that I haven't been able <v Speaker 1>to see. I just feel like I don't know what's <v Speaker 1>going on with that. And what's making it even worse <v Speaker 1>is like. <v Speaker 2>I'm trying to sleep more. <v Speaker 1>I'm not as young as I used to where I <v Speaker 1>could just stay up and watch everything all the time. <v Speaker 1>I feel like it is affecting my heart and blood <v Speaker 1>pressure or something. So now I'm limiting my nighttime viewing <v Speaker 1>with the iPad. I talked about that how I used <v Speaker 1>to do that. I'm going to try not to anymore. <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna try to be a good adult so I <v Speaker 1>can live long enough so that I can have kids, <v Speaker 1>and you know, I could be an old dad and <v Speaker 1>live through their life. So which means I'm just going <v Speaker 1>to have to cut down on TV a little bit <v Speaker 1>to better my heart a little bit. I'm trying to <v Speaker 1>run more, walk more, and listen. I'm saying all this. <v Speaker 1>It seems random, but this has some This is tied <v Speaker 1>to wrestling in some way. Okay, because watching you know, <v Speaker 1>I used to watch it that evening, not maybe not live. <v Speaker 1>If I could, that'd be great, but if not live, <v Speaker 1>then I would watch it at night from ten to twelve, <v Speaker 1>all right, and then I'd go to better on twelve thirty. <v Speaker 1>Not great for your sleep, you know. So I don't <v Speaker 1>know what I'm gonna do. Like, for example, Raw, I <v Speaker 1>didn't watch it Monday night. I did watch it Tuesday night, <v Speaker 1>and I still stayed up late because I had to <v Speaker 1>watch Alien Earth. But you know, I'm trying, all right, <v Speaker 1>So I'm trying this new thing. I'm gonna have to <v Speaker 1>get off. I'm gonna have to be okay with some <v Speaker 1>spoilers that I stumble on the internet, you know, And <v Speaker 1>I'm just gonna have to find a time to watch <v Speaker 1>it during the day. <v Speaker 2>When is that find out next week. I'll have more <v Speaker 2>answers for you. <v Speaker 1>But I say all that because last night I did <v Speaker 1>stay up even though I promised myself I wouldn't, but <v Speaker 1>I did go to bed at an appropriate time. I <v Speaker 1>think last night I said I want to watch Alien Earth. <v Speaker 1>I want to watch Raw, I want. <v Speaker 2>To watch the WWE the Stone Cold Undertaker Cane match, <v Speaker 2>and I want to go to the movie theater and <v Speaker 2>see Weapons. <v Speaker 1>Crazy, right, that's a crazy thing to say. Would I <v Speaker 1>have done it a couple. <v Speaker 2>Of years ago? Probably? <v Speaker 1>I Probably That means I would have stayed up till <v Speaker 1>like two thirty. I know, I'm desperate to see that <v Speaker 1>movie Weapons, And like, it's a problem when you go <v Speaker 1>to work where it's about movies and video games and <v Speaker 1>that's where I work, at a place that covers that stuff, <v Speaker 1>and your co workers are like, did you. <v Speaker 2>See this movie? Blah blah blah blah blah, and they're <v Speaker 2>spoiling it. <v Speaker 1>And then I got to put on my AirPods and <v Speaker 1>noise canceling and I can't be in the conversation. And <v Speaker 1>then I end up watching the movie months later and <v Speaker 1>be like, hey, guys, I finally saw it. <v Speaker 2>And then they're like, oh, yeah, we moved on from <v Speaker 2>that kind of situation, keeping up with the Joneses. When <v Speaker 2>everybody watches movies and video games, I don't know how <v Speaker 2>people do it. I really don't. <v Speaker 1>I don't know how people are watching as much, going <v Speaker 1>to the movies as much, playing as much video games <v Speaker 1>as they can. It's like, I don't know how they <v Speaker 1>do it, but good for you. <v Speaker 2>The reason being. <v Speaker 1>Is I stayed up all night watching the Stone Cold match. <v Speaker 1>I said I would do it, and it was a <v Speaker 1>thirty minute match, and I said, you know what, fuck it, <v Speaker 1>I can do thirty minutes. I want to talk about <v Speaker 1>it on this podcast, okay, And I got to say <v Speaker 1>it was great, all right, moving on, No, I'm kidding. <v Speaker 1>This was Oh oh my god, I must fell off <v Speaker 1>my chair. I love a handicap match. Let me just <v Speaker 1>say first off, I love a handicap match. I don't <v Speaker 1>think that we've done it here recently. I think it <v Speaker 1>showcases people's strength really well. I think sometimes Roman Reigns <v Speaker 1>will come out and getting a handicap situation one versus two, <v Speaker 1>and he will end up getting getting a beat down. <v Speaker 1>I feel like I see more handicap people getting beaten down, <v Speaker 1>which makes sense, right, But I think for certain people <v Speaker 1>I would say Roman Reigns, especially because I came into <v Speaker 1>back to wrestling learning about Roman Reigns and hearing how <v Speaker 1>much of a god he is, I would expect he <v Speaker 1>has the cat, especially for somebody who holds well. I <v Speaker 1>know he held it for four years, but he was <v Speaker 1>also gone a lot, so that that there's something to it. <v Speaker 1>But just the way he the way he looks, you know, <v Speaker 1>the way he is, you think that he's unstoppable. <v Speaker 2>Stone Cold was really good at that where he was <v Speaker 2>able to take multiple people down. <v Speaker 1>He got his licks and he got lit and he <v Speaker 1>got hit onto like he got beaten down too, But <v Speaker 1>he wasn't just like knocked out like he got he <v Speaker 1>He he took people down and he got hit as well, <v Speaker 1>but he got back up and survived. And sometimes I <v Speaker 1>see when Roman Reigns gets into that quote unquote handicapped situation, <v Speaker 1>he gets laid out, and that's not really what I <v Speaker 1>like to see. <v Speaker 2>Is it more believable? Probably? <v Speaker 1>But you got to have your select few that can <v Speaker 1>just kick anybody's at That's the fear that you get <v Speaker 1>from somebody. You need somebody who can bring fear into <v Speaker 1>people's eyes when their music hits out. Relentlessness, strength, power, <v Speaker 1>And that's what I'm missing sometimes with somebody to be <v Speaker 1>like you are. When you thought of Stone Cold, you're <v Speaker 1>like this man will do, will do everything he can <v Speaker 1>to win and to never give up and to not stop. <v Speaker 2>I guess sometimes Cody. <v Speaker 1>Can be like that, but I feel like Roman especially <v Speaker 1>so I don't know, like he got he came out <v Speaker 1>the other night, I think a couple of weeks ago, <v Speaker 1>and he got big pop, but then he got laid <v Speaker 1>out and it's like, what are we doing here? <v Speaker 2>Anyway? <v Speaker 1>I all about to say is I love these handicap matches <v Speaker 1>because it showcases the strength of Stone Cold obviously the <v Speaker 1>Undertaker and Caine, who those two could get in their <v Speaker 1>own handicap match and dominate. So you have like the <v Speaker 1>three most dominating people in that time going at it <v Speaker 1>at each other. How does he do it? You know, <v Speaker 1>is there even a chance? And throughout this match or <v Speaker 1>you do get a feeling of like I think maybe <v Speaker 1>I maybe you could do it, like it seems like <v Speaker 1>you're and it starts off great where you have Caine <v Speaker 1>come out separately and then Undertaker's music comes out. He <v Speaker 1>slowly comes out and not even before he hits the <v Speaker 1>walkway or the runway out of the darkness, Stone Cold <v Speaker 1>Steve Austin comes with the chair and bangs him on <v Speaker 1>the head and capacitates him, takes him out of the game. <v Speaker 1>Boom knocks him out. He runs towards the ring. I <v Speaker 1>don't know if he gets a hit on Kane with <v Speaker 1>the chair, and maybe he does he gets there and <v Speaker 1>he starts wopping on Kane, and you know, it's like, <v Speaker 1>all right, I've taken out the Undertaker. I'm going for Kane. <v Speaker 1>He pins him down very early, pinned, very unlikely that <v Speaker 1>he would get the win right there, because I feel <v Speaker 1>like you got to really take down, really beat these <v Speaker 1>people down. And at the beginning, there's just a back <v Speaker 1>and forth between all right, I'm beating down Kane. Then <v Speaker 1>I push him aside, he's recovering. Here comes Undertaker. I'm <v Speaker 1>taking him now, he's recovering, Back and forth, back and forth, <v Speaker 1>until it just becomes overwhelming. <v Speaker 2>And reality sets in. And this is I'm fine with that. <v Speaker 1>I think it's good storytelling where you at least get <v Speaker 1>to see him kick ass for a bit to dominate. <v Speaker 2>You don't want it to be a one sided fight. <v Speaker 1>The fight breaks out outside the ring, near the walkway, <v Speaker 1>runaway whatever, and I love that. I always love it <v Speaker 1>when that happens here. It feels like it's needed. Stone <v Speaker 1>Cold starts choking Kine with the with the cords. Undertaker <v Speaker 1>starts choking stone Cold with the cords. <v Speaker 2>I love this stuff. You really got to get nasty <v Speaker 2>with it, and they do. <v Speaker 1>And as the match progresses and it starts to turn <v Speaker 1>in their favor. Undertaker and Caine start. Undertaker pins stone <v Speaker 1>Cold and Kane pulls them off because in this match, <v Speaker 1>Undertaker is not allowed to pin Kane and Caine is <v Speaker 1>not allowed to pin Undertaker. <v Speaker 2>They can only pin stone Cold. <v Speaker 1>So that's why it's a handicapped match is because I mean, yes, <v Speaker 1>it's the three, it's three people in the ring, but <v Speaker 1>they can't you know, they can't pin each other, only <v Speaker 1>stone Cold. So as Undertaker pins them, Kane pulls them off, <v Speaker 1>and then they start having a tiff. And then then <v Speaker 1>after halfway through the match they start going at it <v Speaker 1>and you're like, okay, now this is now, this is <v Speaker 1>he not? Because he gives stone Cold chants to breathe <v Speaker 1>and to quote unquote as as you say in the <v Speaker 1>gaming community, third party one of the players, you know, <v Speaker 1>as Undertaker and Kane are going at it, and then <v Speaker 1>one of them gets knocked out and there's one left standing, <v Speaker 1>then you know he'll third party. <v Speaker 2>Him, is what they say in the gaming and stuff. <v Speaker 1>So he'll jump them and then you see, oh hey <v Speaker 1>there's a chance because Undertaker just weakened Kane or undert <v Speaker 1>and Kane has pushed Undertaker out and so hear from <v Speaker 1>Stone Cold stunning him. Boom, this is the win, and <v Speaker 1>Undertaker pulls him out, and there's a sense of you <v Speaker 1>believe that it could happen, and if you don't want <v Speaker 1>to find out what happens, then fast forward a couple <v Speaker 1>of seconds. But Stone Cold unfortunately loses. There's a double <v Speaker 1>choke slam between under Taker and Kine slam, and who wins? <v Speaker 1>They both both Undertaker and Kane lay on top of <v Speaker 1>Stone Cold and Stone Cold loses. <v Speaker 2>But who wins we don't know. We don't know. <v Speaker 1>At the end of this Pepe pay per view match, <v Speaker 1>Vince McMahon takes the belt, runs away with it and <v Speaker 1>takes it like as if he owns it, and he <v Speaker 1>as if he. <v Speaker 2>Won it, and really in the story, he did win it. <v Speaker 1>He's been trying to take the belt out away from <v Speaker 1>Stone Cold for so long because he wasn't being a <v Speaker 1>good champion. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, that's what happens. <v Speaker 1>And now we are entering into a storyline, well one, <v Speaker 1>we're entering into Raw where I can actually watch it <v Speaker 1>on Netflix. Remember when they said Raw would move to Netflix? <v Speaker 1>All those old Raw episodes have moved to Netflix. Nope, <v Speaker 1>We're here for for how many how many months? And <v Speaker 1>all the episodes are on Netflix yet it's crazy. So <v Speaker 1>I've been watching the other episodes, you know, in a <v Speaker 1>creative way. I'll say, I've creatively been watching them. They're <v Speaker 1>not great quality, but I've been watching them and they're <v Speaker 1>they're they're good enough, and it's fine totally. But now <v Speaker 1>I can go to Netflix for the follow up to <v Speaker 1>this pay per view match breakdown, and oh, so good, <v Speaker 1>so good to finally get to just watch it like that, <v Speaker 1>And it seems like the next few RAW episodes are <v Speaker 1>going to be on Netflix. I couldn't help myself. It <v Speaker 1>was late at night, yes, but I had to see <v Speaker 1>what happened on Raw. They were going to answer right away, <v Speaker 1>you can always depend on that. And in the nineties <v Speaker 1>and Vince McMahon comes out with the belt and you <v Speaker 1>still don't know who the championship champion is, and he's <v Speaker 1>haunting him, and he's and he's seeing all these things <v Speaker 1>and anyway, I didn't finish the episode. I just wanted <v Speaker 1>to watch the first few minutes to see what was <v Speaker 1>going on the tone of it all. And I do <v Speaker 1>a little Reddit search about the episode because I kind <v Speaker 1>of spoiled myself. I kind of want to know a <v Speaker 1>little bit. I was tired, but I wanted to know <v Speaker 1>before this podcast. And you know, it seems like the <v Speaker 1>next four episodes, which I think the next four episodes <v Speaker 1>drew on Netflix following this pay per view, are supposed <v Speaker 1>to be bangers, and so that's what I'm excited about. <v Speaker 1>I'm like, oh, great, awesome. I feel like I can't <v Speaker 1>wait to watch you know, these peak moments happening because <v Speaker 1>now we are also i mean, when does SmackDown come out? <v Speaker 1>Let's see SmackDown first episode? Oh ninety nine okay, nine, <v Speaker 1>never mind, So we'll have to wait. <v Speaker 2>But I'm just I'm just waiting. <v Speaker 1>For U for that to kick off. You know, we <v Speaker 1>I still haven't seen really any of the McMahon kids <v Speaker 1>come out, and that's going to create more storylines. I <v Speaker 1>can't wait for what the the Corporation Ministry? <v Speaker 2>What is is that? What it's called? <v Speaker 1>I'm googling corporate Corporate Ministry nineteen nine. Okay, So you know, <v Speaker 1>we're working our weight. We're in September, We're working our weight. <v Speaker 1>We're going to get there somehow. The seeds of that <v Speaker 1>have been laid so it's very exciting, very cool. <v Speaker 2>I like it. <v Speaker 1>I always like Undertaker Can matches, and some call it's like, <v Speaker 1>come on, they're always going to be great. <v Speaker 2>And then there was also a in that same. <v Speaker 1>Pay per view mat pay per view and I already <v Speaker 1>watched it days weeks before. This was the Rock versus <v Speaker 1>Mankind versus Ken Shamrock in a cage match. <v Speaker 2>Another great match. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, that's my quick that's my review or my <v Speaker 1>experience of this handicap match. A few of the things <v Speaker 1>before we close out, Just lingering thoughts. One these pay <v Speaker 1>per view matches, the monitors and the setup and the entrances. <v Speaker 2>Are so tiny. They're so tiny, Like you go to <v Speaker 2>a Raw and SmackDown, they're big, they're huge. It feels <v Speaker 2>bigger than life on that one. But when you go <v Speaker 2>to a pay per view match, why does it feel <v Speaker 2>so small? Right now? It's like can it feels like <v Speaker 2>we should flip the two right, I don't know's it's <v Speaker 2>always a weird thing for me when they come out <v Speaker 2>and then it's a tiny little monitor and it's a <v Speaker 2>tiny little. <v Speaker 1>Entrance and anyway, some more musings of myself. Raw Man <v Speaker 1>Raw is getting good like Raw is stacked. Dude, Raw <v Speaker 1>is stacked. <v Speaker 2>I mean you. <v Speaker 1>Were getting CM Punk l A. Knight versus Seth Rollins <v Speaker 1>and yes, jay Uso as well, but it's like, dude, <v Speaker 1>I mean I wanted l A. Knight to move to <v Speaker 1>Raw because I wanted him to get a chance to <v Speaker 1>get that championship. I feel like CM punk was on <v Speaker 1>SmackDown for a bit. I could be wrong, but now <v Speaker 1>CM punk is here, and so it's like, well, when <v Speaker 1>is l A. Knight gonna get a chance to hold <v Speaker 1>a belt? <v Speaker 2>You know? <v Speaker 1>And then Seth and then Seth freaking Rawlins is here, <v Speaker 1>so he's holding the belt for a bit. <v Speaker 2>Gooter just dropped the belt. <v Speaker 1>Jay Uso is here, and then we have rising stars <v Speaker 1>bron Breaker and Bronson Reid, who who do have a <v Speaker 1>couple of years I think at least a year or so, <v Speaker 1>at least till they get their. <v Speaker 2>Belts, you know. <v Speaker 1>I mean, it seems like CM punk has to be <v Speaker 1>next in line to get that belt, but Ellie Knight <v Speaker 1>should also get that belt too, you know. It seems <v Speaker 1>like it's frustrating as an l A. Knight fan to <v Speaker 1>not have him get the belt. I feel like if <v Speaker 1>he got more wins under him. <v Speaker 2>H he is. He can be an. <v Speaker 1>Unstoppable force too, if they just story wise give that <v Speaker 1>to him. You know, he he's someone who was still <v Speaker 1>trash talk someone even if he lost, he'll be like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I lost that match, Okay, well whatever, but I'm coming <v Speaker 1>at you. <v Speaker 2>And it's like, you know, I like that. You know, <v Speaker 2>it's unfortunate that he does. <v Speaker 1>But it's just and and I'm not even talking about <v Speaker 1>the women's The women's side is even crazier. Like you <v Speaker 1>got Naomi who's the champion, and then you have Eos <v Speaker 1>trying to get it back. You of course get Rhea, <v Speaker 1>who's always going to be around, and then you have <v Speaker 1>liv Morgan who is out but will come back. She <v Speaker 1>will have a storyline with you know, Judgment Day and <v Speaker 1>maybe getting her tag team titles back with Roquel, so <v Speaker 1>that could distract her or keep her at bay. But <v Speaker 1>then you have Stephanie vacare in talks of trying to <v Speaker 1>get the Championship belt, which you know, maybe too soon <v Speaker 1>and seems like she could do better getting the Intercontinental <v Speaker 1>Championship belt. She's a great you know, of course she could. <v Speaker 1>I mean if there wasn't as stacked. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, why wouldn't she win it in the same right though, <v Speaker 2>Roxanne Perez. <v Speaker 1>They were Stephanie and Roxanne were both NXT champions. Roxanne <v Speaker 1>was a champion for a while too and well regarded <v Speaker 1>an NXT so she you know, yeah, I think she <v Speaker 1>could have a chance to And Becky Lynch is over <v Speaker 1>here on the Intercontinental Championship, so. <v Speaker 2>Like, thing could be reordered in so many ways. <v Speaker 1>But I could see all of these people becoming champions, <v Speaker 1>and I think some of them could go Intercontinental. Sephanie <v Speaker 1>could face Becky, could take down Becky. You know, you <v Speaker 1>could have Live and Rockquel coming back in an at <v Speaker 1>tag team rock Sand to prove her where she's going <v Speaker 1>to fight for the Intercontinental Championship from Becky, so that <v Speaker 1>the judgment they all have belts again, and I'm loving <v Speaker 1>that a team has all gold. I just think that's <v Speaker 1>something about someone dominating is important. You need a big <v Speaker 1>bad to take down. So yeah, I'm just like, wow, <v Speaker 1>what are we doing here? And That's why I'm really <v Speaker 1>liking the what's it called in SmackDown? The Charlotte Flair <v Speaker 1>and Alexa Bliss, I feel like they got it. I <v Speaker 1>know they have the name, we're not friends, but I'm thinking, <v Speaker 1>like Alexa Flair Bliss Flair, you know. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. I'm loving it. I really like it. <v Speaker 2>I think they're their chemistry is awesome. It's really fun <v Speaker 2>to see them. <v Speaker 1>It seems like they're having fun, and so it's bleeding <v Speaker 1>through the screen as I watch them, and it seems like, yeah, <v Speaker 1>they both of them could get the Championship belt as <v Speaker 1>well the ww Championship SmackDown one and but they're but <v Speaker 1>they're occupying the tag team and I think that's. <v Speaker 2>Great, Like they are forced to be dealt with in <v Speaker 2>the tag team division. <v Speaker 1>And I don't mind big superstars teaming up to be <v Speaker 1>a tag team match because they can also be very <v Speaker 1>dominating and very cool to see La nine CM Punk <v Speaker 1>was very cool to see a tag team. <v Speaker 2>Not to say I want to see Miss. <v Speaker 1>Champion as a tag team team, although would be cool. <v Speaker 1>I do like the whole Charlotte Flair Alexa Bliss thing. <v Speaker 1>I think that's a good way of handling so many <v Speaker 1>great superstars, Like we are swimming in riches here. It's <v Speaker 1>hard to prioritize into you know. Meanwhile, Bailey's having her <v Speaker 1>identity crisis, which I mean, that's tough. <v Speaker 2>And the last thing to wrap this all up a <v Speaker 2>little little cherry on top. <v Speaker 1>God, I love Bronson rit as the shoe as the <v Speaker 1>tribal thief carrying the shoe Lafalla man when he sold <v Speaker 1>that second when he stole the second pair, and he <v Speaker 1>came out wearing both pears. <v Speaker 2>Now, how far are they gonna go? How far? How <v Speaker 2>many shoes is this man going to wear? <v Speaker 1>It's the most ridiculous thing and it's hilarious and I <v Speaker 1>love it when it's it's hitting that perfect ven diagram <v Speaker 1>for me of just like domination but also hilarity and <v Speaker 1>talent and athleticism. It's like, oh, chef's kiss, it's so funny. <v Speaker 1>I think you got to have little funny moments sprinkled throughout, Like. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that is like a thing where people steal shoes, <v Speaker 2>you know, and it's like, what are you gonna do? <v Speaker 2>You know, you can't you can't really. <v Speaker 1>In high school, you can't really call the cops on <v Speaker 1>I'm not in that type of like especially for that <v Speaker 1>for certain communities, it's like it's a lot more complicated <v Speaker 1>to do that. <v Speaker 2>So shoe thievery is like a thing. <v Speaker 1>But like It's so funny to see the shoe Lafalla, <v Speaker 1>the tribal thief, him coming out with the shoes, big <v Speaker 1>ass shoes. <v Speaker 2>I'm loving it. Keep at it. <v Speaker 1>We're keeping it weird with America Grande Americano too. <v Speaker 2>There's like multiple ones. I mean, what's going on. I <v Speaker 2>don't really know. I'm okay with it right. <v Speaker 1>Now, but yeah, Shoe Lafalla super funny. I'm having a <v Speaker 1>good time. <v Speaker 2>This week. <v Speaker 1>They're doing the Triple A Mania event, something I wasn't <v Speaker 1>really interested in seeing until they had Dominic Mysterio and <v Speaker 1>America America Grande Americano in a match, and I'm like, hmm, okay, <v Speaker 1>I'm interested. And then they had the iguana guy come <v Speaker 1>out that one match with Siko or what's his name <v Speaker 1>bummer that he lost, though I feel like he should <v Speaker 1>have won. Kind of a weird character, I will say, strange, <v Speaker 1>but something there. You know you do want to keep watching? Man, <v Speaker 1>that iguana must be nasty. I'll say that right now. <v Speaker 2>Thank you guys for listening long. Hey look we went <v Speaker 2>longer than twenty minutes. Look at that. <v Speaker 1>Thank you for listening to you. Next week, maybe i'll <v Speaker 1>talk a little bit about the Triple A Mania. Maybe <v Speaker 1>I'll talk. I'll give you an update about my sleep. <v Speaker 1>I'll give you an update about how I'm watching Ron <v Speaker 1>SmackDown now that I'm trying not to watch those at night. <v Speaker 1>You know, they say to not look at screens thirty <v Speaker 1>minutes before nighttime. I used to say bah humbug to that, but. <v Speaker 2>Now I'm like, Okay, maybe, yeah, maybe I will. <v Speaker 1>Maybe I need to get my circadian rhythm fixed to <v Speaker 1>get my blood pressure and all that right. So I <v Speaker 1>don't know. We're trying things out here and over here <v Speaker 1>at the Louise Gonzales household, So tune in next week. <v Speaker 1>We'll talk about some more fun stuff in the after <v Speaker 1>Dark episode catch us catch me at my other podcast, <v Speaker 1>Punch Drunk NERD. We're gonna talk about Alien Earth. We <v Speaker 1>typically release our episodes on Friday. I'm gonna try to <v Speaker 1>sneak it out a little bit earlier, maybe on Thursday. <v Speaker 1>I don't know, we'll see, because the show just premiered <v Speaker 1>on Tuesday, and we rarely on our podcast ever released timely. <v Speaker 1>You know, a movie comes out Friday, we really don't <v Speaker 1>release an episode about that movie until literally a week <v Speaker 1>later because we can't rush to the cinema. You know, <v Speaker 1>we have lives, my other two podcasts, friends, they have <v Speaker 1>fans there, they have kids. You know, you can't like <v Speaker 1>every week or demand you need to watch the movie <v Speaker 1>Thursday night so we can review it Friday and release it. <v Speaker 2>Blah blah blah blah. <v Speaker 1>It's just it's unsustainable, you know. And we don't have <v Speaker 1>early access like other media people. <v Speaker 2>We're very tiny. <v Speaker 1>We have like to like I don't know, two hundred subscribers, <v Speaker 1>which is great, like that's really cool. <v Speaker 2>But you know, we get we get little views. We <v Speaker 2>get like thirty five, thirty five views, pretty good. One <v Speaker 2>hundred views amazing, you know what I mean. But we're <v Speaker 2>fairly new. <v Speaker 1>We got one hundred and sixty and seventy one episodes <v Speaker 1>under our belt, so we're working it. <v Speaker 2>But it's right now. It's you know, we could try <v Speaker 2>to make it bigger, but it's hard. You know. <v Speaker 1>I got a real job and a life and a cat. <v Speaker 1>I can imagine them with kids. Anyway, now I'm having <v Speaker 1>a therapy session about my other podcast. All that to <v Speaker 1>say is that we're usually a week late. So Alien <v Speaker 1>Earth premiered on two on FX, and it's so close. <v Speaker 1>We're like, I'm thinking maybe I can release it earlier. <v Speaker 1>But either way, check us out Alien Earth. If you <v Speaker 1>like Alien Redlease Scott's Alien you can watch yourself a <v Speaker 1>spoiler alert. I recommend it. I would say watch it. <v Speaker 1>You know, two episodes are out now for that maybe <v Speaker 1>I'll watch that movie Weapons too. <v Speaker 2>Anyway, thank you guys for listening. <v Speaker 1>Now we're hitting, We're hitting more closer to thirty. Thank <v Speaker 1>you for listening. Until next time, see you
