00:00:31
Speaker 1: Do not do not pesco without answering asking us questions. We love hearing from you. Today. We have I always say, a very special guest, but she really is. She really is a special guest. Please welcome from Grant season, Sarah Fina. Sarah Fina, Welcome to Golden Hour. We're so happy to have you. How are you today?

00:00:54
Speaker 4: Thanks, guys, I'm so excited to be here. I've been reading all day. I'm glad fans, I'm so excited.

00:01:01
Speaker 1: Oh only you were a man and over sixty, we'd be so excited.

00:01:07
Speaker 2: Honestly, say, she's as beautiful as she was.

00:01:11
Speaker 1: I'm telling you, thank you. Okay, Seraphina, A few questions. First of all, Susance, right, you are absolutely stunningly beautiful. And I got to say this, I think Grant has had the most gorgeous women, and you're one of them on his season. The poor guy must have just tortured him. But you are lovely.

00:01:32
Speaker 4: Thank you so much. Now I have to agree this group of women, I mean every season, but this group of women just like not only beautiful, but like so accomplished great jobs, like just like ten out of ten's across the board, like such great women.

00:01:46
Speaker 1: Okay, so I have a question before we get started. You live in New York City, you said the East Village. Where are you from originally?

00:01:55
Speaker 4: So, I was actually born in New York and then my family moved to Connecticut when I was about to tea and I went to college in New York and then I moved to New York City maybe two three years after college. So like, I'm very East Coast, very in the accent.

00:02:12
Speaker 1: Well, I'm actually from the same hometown as Juliana or the exact same hometown. Did you go to Syracuse?

00:02:21
Speaker 4: I did go to Syracuse.

00:02:22
Speaker 1: I do my homework, and yeah, well I grew up in Boston. And I just want to know, are you a lacrosse fan because Syracuse has some great Okay.

00:02:31
Speaker 4: No, but I'm a fan of their work.

00:02:36
Speaker 2: And I thought about the pizza in New York.

00:02:41
Speaker 4: No, no, no, okay. So one thing, and I said this on my cri the pizza in New York is not good. I don't think it's the best. The pizza is when the pizza in Newlanen in Connecticut is amazing, like the best pizza.

00:02:54
Speaker 1: They are pretty good pizza in Massachusetts too.

00:02:58
Speaker 3: Trust is what I want to know in New York or in Connecticut where you're saying it's good.

00:03:03
Speaker 4: So there's many variations. There's like a thin cross. There's also what I'm a really big pizza connoisseur, there's wood oven pizza. Then there's like really thin slices. Also, if you're ever in Stanford, Connecticut, there's a place called Quality Grill and it's very very thin pizza. It's amazing. And get the hot oil thinated. It's so greasy, like it's dripping down your hands, Like if it's not dripping on your hands, like it's not good pizza.

00:03:33
Speaker 1: I love it. Okay, one other question before we get started. I think your name is this beautiful. This is just the preamble, Seraphina. We're gonna we're gonna get into it. But where does your name come from? Because it's a beautiful name so much. Tell me, like, where did that come from? Parents? Is it a family name?

00:03:58
Speaker 4: No, it's from a movie. It's a movie called Serafina. It's also Italian, it's Greek, so it has like very far roots. But yeah, it's like based off of a movie that my dad saw, and then he picked my name my sister's name from the same movie.

00:04:11
Speaker 1: I guess, what's your sister's name.

00:04:13
Speaker 4: My sister's name is Benta.

00:04:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, gorgeous.

00:04:17
Speaker 4: So we all have like very we Yeah, school was hard, middle hard.

00:04:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure they were like s A R A F I N A No.

00:04:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it felt very different some of the when you had to ask the answer the twenty questions I was reviewing, and it's like, oh my gosh, we mentioned so many ways.

00:04:36
Speaker 2: The Devil Wears problem how many? Yes?

00:04:39
Speaker 1: I love that movie.

00:04:40
Speaker 4: Yeah so good.

00:04:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I can relate to you.

00:04:44
Speaker 2: And of course Mike Gas.

00:04:46
Speaker 4: Oh yes, I can quote I can quote the Devil product like Front to.

00:04:50
Speaker 3: Die, all right, that was going to dig in.

00:04:57
Speaker 4: I'm excited, Yeah, excited, I'm ready.

00:05:00
Speaker 1: Okay, what was your dating life like prior to the show.

00:05:05
Speaker 4: Non existent? I didn't.

00:05:08
Speaker 1: I'm telling you Susan. She and I are related.

00:05:13
Speaker 4: We are we are one in the same, non existent. I hadn't had a boyfriend for six years.

00:05:18
Speaker 1: Get out.

00:05:19
Speaker 4: Yeah he dumped me?

00:05:20
Speaker 1: Uhh, yeah, he's what's his name? What's his name?

00:05:24
Speaker 4: I won't say his name.

00:05:26
Speaker 1: I'm want to make his name up, John, You are not doing him.

00:05:30
Speaker 3: What do you think your experience on that show taught you about you?

00:05:36
Speaker 1: Oh?

00:05:37
Speaker 4: I say this all the time, but I feel like my ability to be a lot more vulnerable. I feel like, because I hadn't been in a relationship for so long, I was so afraid to open up to people and so afraid to, like, you know, take a chance. And I think this is the biggest lead to faith. I mean, you guys know, it's like you like someone, but he likes twenty four other women. And I was so much of myself and I shared things that I think a lot of my friends at home didn't even know about me. And I'm just so much more open now and so confident. And then I felt so I feel like I felt so confident going on to the show, and then after I just like I gained such a new level of confidence that I don't even think was possible.

00:06:19
Speaker 1: Can I just say I really feel like I felt that about you, and I think America felt that about you. You seemed just you know, it's hard to be as you know, it's hard to be yourself and let loose and and be your authentic self. But I think you really did a good job of it.

00:06:38
Speaker 4: Thank you so much, I mean so much.

00:06:40
Speaker 1: So what was the most memorable moment for you?

00:06:44
Speaker 2: Oh?

00:06:44
Speaker 4: I feel like jumping off the bridge?

00:06:47
Speaker 2: That was okay?

00:06:48
Speaker 1: Was that bungee jumping? Right?

00:06:50
Speaker 4: I guess, okay, so.

00:06:52
Speaker 2: What it was? But that was scary.

00:06:54
Speaker 4: Yeah, so I had people reach out to me and say that's not jumping, Like so, I don't know, but I jumped off of I mean, she pushed.

00:07:03
Speaker 1: I love it when you said I literally jumped off a bridge for a guy. I love that. But I have a question, did you when you jumped off? Like was your next This is like totally off the subject, but like was your next stable? Like I would be so afraid that it didn't.

00:07:20
Speaker 4: I don't even remember, I really don't. I just like, so we were harnessed together like so I had to hold on to him and then she pushed us off. So like people are all like, like, did your heads bump together? I was like, I don't think so. We were in helmets too.

00:07:37
Speaker 2: So I think it was fine.

00:07:39
Speaker 4: I mean you were in I was so in love.

00:07:44
Speaker 1: So were you in love at that point? Wait? Were you in love at that point?

00:07:49
Speaker 4: I think it was like there was a lot of adrenaline. I think, like I say it like jokingly, but yes, I think there was a lot of adrenaline. I think I really started to have strong feelings for him at this point, and I was just like, you know what, like this is something that I don't think I will ever do with someone again, or you know in this situation.

00:08:05
Speaker 1: You mean you don't wake up saying you know what, I think I'll jump off a bridge.

00:08:10
Speaker 4: Yeah, with a guy that's like dating exactly.

00:08:13
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:08:13
Speaker 4: Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:08:16
Speaker 2: Let me ask you.

00:08:16
Speaker 3: Were you surprised when you didn't get that rose that night?

00:08:21
Speaker 2: Was it shocking or did you have a feeling?

00:08:23
Speaker 4: No? I was absolutely shocked, so was I. Yeah. I think things were going and what I felt were such like a positive direction. And I had received so much like affirmation from him leading up to the weeks and then also just like leading up to going into hometown. So I maybe you know, people are in my DM saying you should have known whatever, but in my heart and I knew what I heard, And I mean, it is it happened. Everything happens for a reason, but.

00:08:52
Speaker 2: And you believed it.

00:08:53
Speaker 3: But let's just touch base for one little mina on the dms. Don't feel like you're the only one. Yeah, I mean it's ugly. There's a lot of ugly people out there, and it's just sad.

00:09:05
Speaker 4: Yeah it is. And like that is also something I learned from the show in terms of confidence. I've also become just so much stronger because people will tell you lesson right, so many things about yourself and like who you are based off of fifteen minutes of like a month, and it's like, Okay, I'm so sorry that you caught me at my worst moment after I'm like tired and hungry and stress. And imagine being in a situation where you really like someone and he's getting other people, like, please tell me that you would you would have moments where you're a little bit cranky, Like really.

00:09:38
Speaker 1: Susan and I say all the time, Seraphina, we knew pretty early on that Gary wasn't our guy there were buddy.

00:09:48
Speaker 2: You know, we were friends.

00:09:49
Speaker 1: I'm saying we were in the friend zone really quickly. So it allowed us to really be ourselves, have fun with each other. You know, you weren't in that situation, but when you were standing there, so I kind of knew I was going home, like, yeah, I'd run.

00:10:03
Speaker 2: Kay. Me and Nancy we thought we were all right.

00:10:08
Speaker 1: So when you went, when you were standing there at the roast ceremony, literally, what was going through your mind? Were you like, I've got this on what was going through your head?

00:10:18
Speaker 4: Okay, So we were in a castle in Scotland and we so for many people who don't know, it's like when you have rose ceremonies, like you kind of stay there for a little bit. You stand there.

00:10:27
Speaker 2: So yeah, it's long.

00:10:29
Speaker 4: And it's like it's so cold because it was night and I think it was like it was like maybe like thirty degrees. You know, I have no sleeves. So I'm just like, oh, like I can't wait to get my rose. I can just go back to bed. I was like, oh, I had laundry. I was like, I'm going to do my laundry in the morning. I also like I didn't do my nail so I usually have my nails sent for every row ceremony. I didn't have nails on. I was like, I'll just do it like right before I go to my hometowl and like whatever I was so is breaking. I'm so in.

00:11:01
Speaker 3: Mind when you didn't get it, like were you? Oh God, I gotta walk up there, I gotta say goodbye.

00:11:07
Speaker 4: And I was just like, so, it's a feeling where you can't explain. I felt like my bubble popped. I was like, oh, okay, I'm going home, but like not in the way that I thought I was. So, yeah, that was really hard. It's an it's a surreal moment, Like I had no idea, no idea at all.

00:11:33
Speaker 1: How have things been for you since the show?

00:11:35
Speaker 4: So good? Like I just came off for a trip with a few of the girls, Priess and I. It was her birthday a week ago. We went to Miami.

00:11:47
Speaker 1: Who else was there?

00:11:49
Speaker 4: Was there Miami? It was me, Prisa Kelsey and then Ali Joe. I know you guys met with Ali Joe also and love then love love, love love, And then I feel like Ali Joe's such your vibe, Like I'm sure you have the best time.

00:12:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, girl, were the.

00:12:08
Speaker 4: Click and then we so in the same breath. We went to La for Afar, and then Priest and I then went to Chicago to see Dina, and then Latia was also there, so like a really big girl's beak.

00:12:21
Speaker 1: So wait, I love this because Susan and I, Susan, Nancy and I are really good friends, and Joan and Less like there's a group of us that we really love. But it sounds like your group is even bigger. Who are your more girls?

00:12:36
Speaker 4: So I would say, uh, Letia, Dina, Prisa, I love Bailey, I love Zoe, I've grown to love Ali Joe. We just like kind of connected more in La and then then Miami, Like just like so I feel like I can go down the list. I feel like with every single girl I can like there's something that I would say, like the people that I talk to mainly every day or like those girls.

00:12:58
Speaker 1: Oh it's don't you love the friendships? Like did you ever expect that?

00:13:03
Speaker 4: No? I did not expect to click with so many girls. Oh. Also Alicia, I loved her since day one. She was like also a girl that like I connected with day one. I just I love that thank a lot.

00:13:14
Speaker 3: Of courage when you're accept it, Okay, I'm going on the show. I know nobody yeah yeah with the outside world and in your mind that first night is like whoa.

00:13:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, and then those girls like just become your family. It was like, I'm sure you guys know. It's like when you're in the house, you're like, where's Alicia? I need to see. Like it's just like you get breakfast, yeat, and you wake up together, you go to sleep together, like the group dates are honestly like oh yeah, grand stare. I know that that's bad, but it's like, oh yeah, great, come on.

00:13:45
Speaker 3: You have any regrets, anything, what you've done that you would have changed from the show, anything that you wish you could take back.

00:13:53
Speaker 4: Nothing like even.

00:13:55
Speaker 1: I swear to god, it's the Northeast thing. We are who we are. We don't regret who we are. We don't explain who we are. You just see what you see is what you get right exactly.

00:14:04
Speaker 4: And I think that's the main thing. It's like I said this the other day, it was like I feel like people don't get East Coast humor like banter.

00:14:11
Speaker 1: I live in Austin, Texas, where everybody is so southern and hell did she come from? So trust me? I need to move back to the Northeast. Okay, wait, I am a really important.

00:14:22
Speaker 2: Damn Yankees, damn ye.

00:14:25
Speaker 1: Okay, would you go on that shore in Paradise?

00:14:29
Speaker 4: I would? I am not like I don't have a boyfriend, but I would go for one person?

00:14:35
Speaker 1: Yes, who still still Tea.

00:14:38
Speaker 4: I can't tell you, guys. I feel like I want to keep it a secret for now. I'll tell you guys, like.

00:14:43
Speaker 1: Okay, yes, listen, if we get to go, we don't know we can make it happen.

00:14:51
Speaker 4: We need to like all link up together.

00:14:55
Speaker 1: I can so each other.

00:14:57
Speaker 3: We haven't been invited yet, so if it is the case, you need to tell us, we'll make sure he's there.

00:15:03
Speaker 4: Okay, perfect? Perfect?

00:15:04
Speaker 1: Oh no, Susan, you and I, you and I can make this happen. We're gonna make it happen for you, Sarah Fava, you deserve it.

00:15:12
Speaker 4: No, I want a redemption. I want to find my love. I want this to be a good excuse.

00:15:16
Speaker 1: Okay, wait, can I just say I'm older than you, so get in line behind me. I want the same thing.

00:15:23
Speaker 4: We'll help each other. We'll help each other.

00:15:27
Speaker 2: Date since the show.

00:15:29
Speaker 4: Yeah, I've been on dates. Yeah, I've been.

00:15:32
Speaker 1: Did you get a lot of dms?

00:15:33
Speaker 4: No? I did not get a lot of dms. I get damn from like college girls like love you guys like where are like the athletes? Where? Like where are the business Like I want those yems.

00:15:43
Speaker 1: You know, New York is a hard place to meet men. You know that. My daughter used to work in New York and she left because she said, and you know, she's happily married now, but she said it was really hard to get men that were serious about dating in New York.

00:15:57
Speaker 4: Yeah. There was an article that was like New York is the toughest place to date in the country. Yeah, number one, worst place.

00:16:03
Speaker 1: Well you can add you can add fan Francisco Virginia.

00:16:11
Speaker 2: Regarding the show again, what.

00:16:14
Speaker 3: Is your take in a word or a sentence or two of the finale?

00:16:20
Speaker 1: Oh my god, I was just going to ask for that. No, that's exactly what I tell us.

00:16:27
Speaker 4: Jaw dropping is what I will say about the finale. I Meandia is like Latire's my girl, Like everyone will know that. But I also love Juliana. I think it's like, yeah, I think it's twofold. It's like what the internet is like. And this goes back to social media. It's like we need to like lift we can lift someone up without knocking someone down.

00:16:48
Speaker 1: Wait say that again. Say that again for everyone to hear.

00:16:52
Speaker 4: We can lift someone up without knocking someone down. We can always root for Letia.

00:16:58
Speaker 1: But yeah, it's for that clapping for that.

00:17:01
Speaker 4: It doesn't mean that we you know, like down. I'm kind of make it appropriate, but like, you know, go down on a relationship that is Juliana and Grant. You know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, we can still be I am like Lysia's number one fan. I'm such a big supporter of her, but I will never say anything bad about Juliana and her relationship.

00:17:23
Speaker 2: She's adorable.

00:17:24
Speaker 3: But for me watching the show and following, we thought it was like.

00:17:29
Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean obviously, yeah.

00:17:32
Speaker 3: Julianna is always a front runner in my eyes because I loved her, But I really thought and I was a little bit shocked.

00:17:38
Speaker 2: I guess.

00:17:39
Speaker 4: I think a lot of people were shocked, and like I'm trying to you know, but I think a lot of people were shocked.

00:17:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what I have to say, And I've said a million times in compatriinations. Sick of hearing it like I was always for Juliana just because we're from the same hometown in Massachusetts. Haven't said that. We all know that the way you get an edit and what goes on behind the scenes, right as viewers, we only see what they want us to see. And so you and I and Susan, we all know there's lots of conversations off camera. There's lots of things that happen, right, Yeah, And I really feel like I should be so lucky to have two men in love with me at the same time.

00:18:22
Speaker 4: But honestly, I'll.

00:18:23
Speaker 1: Take one, but I think it's You're absolutely right, they're both lovely girls. But you're all lovely girls. You are women, not girls. You're women, and you all deserve love.

00:18:36
Speaker 2: And it is part of the shoe.

00:18:38
Speaker 4: You will find it, Yeah, we will find it. And then one thing I want is sand Latia piece for just like anyone that's saying anything about her about the way that she handled things. First of all, she handled things perfectly. She shood up for herself, and then she also spoke her mind, as hurt as she was and as blindsided just she was in that moment. I've never seen someone articulate themselves and their feelings so beautifully.

00:19:01
Speaker 1: And gracefully and gracefully.

00:19:03
Speaker 4: And I would love to see it if like you felt validated the entire time, and you felt so confident going into an engagement, I would love to see how you handle that situation. Anything say anything about her online? Please put yourself in your hurt right, Oh.

00:19:16
Speaker 3: God, I'm snapping against about me in a bikini.

00:19:20
Speaker 2: Put them in that heat.

00:19:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, Sapina, Let me just say I have to. I've said this, you know, we've interviewed some of the women from from Grant season. I don't know if it's just that I'm getting old and sappy or what the hell is going on here, but I am and I'm being honest because people who know me know I'm Northeastern. What I think I am blown away and by your maturity, your gracefulness, your understanding, your empathy of what other women have gone through, it is it just is so heartwarming to see women who have grown up in a very different time than Susan and I grew up just having this amazing ability to understand.

00:20:09
Speaker 2: Not only that, the way you handle the hard parts.

00:20:13
Speaker 3: Thank you both to the person and you let her know what was happening in your world.

00:20:18
Speaker 2: You know what I mean. This is nice see but you did it, very nice, very.

00:20:22
Speaker 4: Thank you so much, guys. That means so much. Yeah. I think like it's so important to understand that we, at the end of the day, are not characters on a television show. We are real human beings and like we're going through emotions and we're putting ourselves out there for your entertainment. So it's like, have grace.

00:20:39
Speaker 1: But that's the thing, that's the thing for me, Saraphena who said it. On the one hand, we are there for entertainment and on the other hand, we are real people with real emotions, and both can be true at the same time.

00:20:54
Speaker 4: Exactly, yeah, exactly.

00:20:56
Speaker 1: So I have a funny question now because because I just Okay, so people compare you a lot to charity and think you I want to hear what's the dal what tell me about that?

00:21:07
Speaker 4: And we love and I love her. So we took a video we like we. Katie Bigger also took an Instagram story and so many dms of everyone being like, you guys look like twins. And I've I've heard it like before I went on the show during the show, like it's a complied it is.

00:21:24
Speaker 1: Well, it's a compliment to both of you. Wait, it's a compliment to both of you because you're both equally beautiful. How tall are you, Sarafina, I'm so you're okay. So Charity is a lot shorter, I know, and and Charity and I did, uh we am ceed Teresa and Gary's wedding along with Jesse Palmer and they oh no, when they were iconic in that when they said you're going to do it with Charity, I said, and I didn't know Charity very well at the time, and I went, you mean that tiny, gorgeous thing, you're gonna make me stand next door pocket? Yeah exactly. I mean like I'm almost five eight and she's like, you know, four six.

00:22:06
Speaker 3: I mean, do you remember going to Dancing with the Stars when she was performing and we got the huger.

00:22:10
Speaker 2: I said, oh my god, I feel like I'm going to break her.

00:22:14
Speaker 4: I was like, I didn't realize how tiny she was.

00:22:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, just I mean, it's a compliment. Let me just say to both of you, because you're you're both absolutely stunningly beautiful women.

00:22:28
Speaker 4: Much I love you, guy, this is so fun.

00:22:39
Speaker 3: We have what we call the question of the Day, and then we have some advice and we'd like you to give your point of view.

00:22:48
Speaker 1: Right go with the question of the day is goday is.

00:22:52
Speaker 3: Do you think going through someone's phone is ever justified?

00:22:56
Speaker 2: And why or why not?

00:22:59
Speaker 4: No, I don't going I don't think going through someone's phone has ever justified. I always say, like, first of all, if you are dating someone that you feel like you have to go through their phone, like that's something someone that you should not be dating on what. Yeah, Like, I don't think I've ever gone through a boyfriend's phone because I felt like I've never had to, So yeah, I would say, don't go through their phone. I don't want anyone going through mygphone. But I don't have anything to side, so I don't know.

00:23:27
Speaker 2: Have you ever gone through a phone gap?

00:23:30
Speaker 1: Yep, one time. I will tell you only one time. And he gave me reason to believe that there was something going on. We were on a trip and I said he said something. Anyway, he gotten in the shower and I picked up his phone and there were all these messages on a dating app and I didn't say thing to him at the time, but that was the Well, actually I did when we got home and he said, well, they reached out to me. I didn't him, and and that to me was the beginning of the end. I mean I broke up with him, like, you know, a few weeks later, but I just felt it. And I guess what I would say is, if you feel it, you really don't need to confirm that.

00:24:16
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:24:18
Speaker 1: You remember, I was married out of the cradle, so I didn't know this.

00:24:22
Speaker 4: Was And when you do it and see it, it's like, yeah, yeah, why hurt your own feelings.

00:24:30
Speaker 1: Just you know, show them the door and move on.

00:24:33
Speaker 4: Exactly.

00:24:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, what about you, Susan, have you done it?

00:24:36
Speaker 2: I definitely have and for good reason.

00:24:37
Speaker 1: And that was exactly.

00:24:43
Speaker 3: These are some of the most commonly asked questions, and we want to know your advice for our listeners.

00:24:49
Speaker 2: I'll start with the first one.

00:24:50
Speaker 3: For women that suspect their partner is cheating.

00:24:57
Speaker 4: For women who suspect their partner's cheat, if you have that inclination, he probably is. But like advice, like what they should do, I would probably say, confront them, like if you really feel in your heart, like there's nothing more than a woman's intuition. So it's like, if you feel that way, confront them and never say if he is cheating is what I will never want never say because.

00:25:22
Speaker 1: I interesting, Yeah, you would not forgive a cheater.

00:25:26
Speaker 4: I would not forgive a cheater because it's just like going down the line, I feel like I would continue to feel more insecure. I would be like, Okay, well is he still cheating? Like is he still seem like yeah? It just like I wouldn't feel good in my heart. And I'm so big on like a love story and like when I have children, I want my children to know like this was the most secure relationship I've ever been in my life. And like, I just you know, I don't know. I don't know if I feel good being like, yeah, you're bad cheated when we were fifteen.

00:25:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so so even if you had kids and you found it you cheated on you. Once he's out the door, Oh, if.

00:26:00
Speaker 4: We have kids, I feel like it's a little bit different. But yeah, I think the kids would definitely change things. And I would be like yeah, yeah, but I would say at my age now, I don't think I would just like I don't think I would continue your boyfriend as a cheater.

00:26:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, and good for you.

00:26:17
Speaker 3: You made a statement Seraphina that if you think they usually are, but they're such insecure women that will think the worst and they're really not.

00:26:29
Speaker 2: So yeah, you know, small percentage.

00:26:33
Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're feeling something, you got to look into it.

00:26:37
Speaker 4: A thousand percent, I would say, always just you know, do your digging all right?

00:26:41
Speaker 1: Well, how about advice for this for friends that really disliked their best friends boyfriend.

00:26:49
Speaker 4: Friends that dislike their best friend's boyfriend. Like if I were the friend and I hated my best friend's boyfriends. Oh, I've been in that position so many times. Yeah. The thing is, it's like I'm a very much like if you like it, I love it kind of person. Like if you love this man and like he is good to you, like, go for it, like I will never stop it. But if he's a bad person to everyone, including you, like you need to dump him, because like you're telling your friend that, yes, I would say if he is like if he is a terrible person to her, I will one thousand percent say like this is not the person for you, Like you need, you need and you deserve so much better. But if it's just like you know I don't like him in terms of like like I don't like the way he's the two dresses, or like something bugs me, Like you know what, go for it, like that's your man, Like yeah, I don't have to live with him.

00:27:40
Speaker 1: Yeah wow.

00:27:42
Speaker 3: Okay about for young girls that are trying to figure out who their real friends.

00:27:47
Speaker 4: Are, Oh, go so hard.

00:27:50
Speaker 1: That's how.

00:27:53
Speaker 2: I can tell you.

00:27:54
Speaker 1: Wait, that's just called growing day. Yes, you kind of advice, aftere no.

00:28:01
Speaker 4: And I've learned so much through life, and I would say, like even I have gained lifelong friends from girls I've known for two months from the show, and it's in comparison as my friends that I've known for fifteen years. It's the friends that like if you call them at three in the morning, they won't answer and be there in a second. Like those are like the kind of friendships I value so much. And like girls you can like pick up the phone with talk through anything I say, Like sometimes they're like, oh, they're friends for different reasons, and like I don't have close friends for different reasons. I have friends that like I go out with them, I call them. I have friends that I breathe on the phone with, like we have nothing to say, but we're just like we're on the phone, just breathing next to each other. And yes, and like you as you mature.

00:28:48
Speaker 1: Except your phone off that night. But go ahead, sir.

00:28:50
Speaker 4: Really you know you're side. But as you mature, you really weed out who are good good friends? Like very easily. Yeah, you don't need fifteen friends. You can have three really good friends.

00:29:01
Speaker 3: And you can yeah I know a million acquaintances they call friends, but you can yet real friends on the hands.

00:29:07
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yeah, I agree.

00:29:09
Speaker 1: Wow, all right, how about this one for young people trying to date but they keep falling in a rut, into a rut you know. Yeah, that's called let me let me simplify that. Old people young people exactly, young people, old people dating the same kind of person, looking for all the wrong people in all the wrong places.

00:29:36
Speaker 4: I've been there, that was me twenty two to like yesterday, I'm getting No, I have been there where it was like I would go on dates with people and the next day like they just wouldn't call me back, or like you know, they just weren't looking for relationship, they weren't serious about something. It goes back to like as you grow up and as you mature, you don't give up, Like, never give up on trying to find someone. You're going to have to go through his bad dates to figure out exactly what you want.

00:30:06
Speaker 1: How many bad dates? How many?

00:30:08
Speaker 4: Oh, you're going to go through like hundreds, Like yeah, you're going to go through so many. And like some people are lucky, like they go on one like hinge date and then the son.

00:30:16
Speaker 1: Yeah I know people like that.

00:30:18
Speaker 4: Yeah, but like I yes, And what I will say is that, like I like that I've been on so many dates because one, I have so many funny stories to like tell people. And too it's like, you know what, I had fun. I went to dinner with a guy. I laughed. I can entertain. I'm the date sometimes like I have fun. I'm laughing, I'm having.

00:30:37
Speaker 1: And you know what that's important?

00:30:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I have a.

00:30:39
Speaker 4: Free dinner whatever, like I didn't have food to my friends.

00:30:43
Speaker 1: I love it all right. We we have gotten to know you a little better. That's your nation has gotten to know you a little better. But now we want to open the floor up to you. Do you have any questions for us, advice for us? What do you? You know? This is your time, so you know us.

00:31:01
Speaker 2: You don't know us, but you know.

00:31:04
Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, who do you guys want to see on the beach if you were.

00:31:08
Speaker 2: To go.

00:31:10
Speaker 1: The guy that you want.

00:31:11
Speaker 4: That you want. No, we're not going to fa the guy.

00:31:17
Speaker 1: Wait, stop, stop the presses right now. If I am lucky enough to go on the beach, let me assure you I am not going for anyone who is the age of my children. Let's just be clear. Okay, you never know, you never Oh no, trust me, I know there is Wait, Seraphina, there's three things in life you can count on death taxes, and I never will date anyone younger than my children. Okay, we got that done. Good.

00:31:46
Speaker 4: It's so funny that.

00:31:48
Speaker 2: Any other questions, like because we don't have one for that.

00:31:52
Speaker 1: We don't. I don't.

00:31:55
Speaker 4: I would say, what advice do you guys have for me? I feel like it? It is hard, especially like when you I'm reaching like a milestone birthday coming up, and it is a little bit scary because a lot of my friends are married or engaged, and like, how do you feel like you're not falling behind in life?

00:32:15
Speaker 3: You're not in the same moment as them, that's all. And this young lady, your world just started. Yeah, when you turn thirty, something happens. I believe inside of us, that's where you're confidence, and you're educated, and you have life experiences better than most people walk in because you know how many women were on that show. Yeah, you got to know you. You know who you are, and you should be proud.

00:32:45
Speaker 2: Of who you are.

00:32:46
Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that's great advice. My advice to you, Saraphina, and I gave this to all three of my children. Yeah, do the things that you love, the activities, whatever it is. Build yourself. Make yourself a strong, competent, interesting, lovable, which you are. Do all those things that you love, and the right people will come into your life.

00:33:09
Speaker 4: I've been realizing that it's like one of myself. I am the batter people are coming into my life.

00:33:15
Speaker 3: I get it when I was your age when thinking back, like oh my god, if I'm thirty, I need to start a family. But there is no special age, and you find usually find somebody when you're least expecting.

00:33:29
Speaker 2: I know you said that it's hard.

00:33:31
Speaker 1: We argue about this. I don't know that I buy.

00:33:33
Speaker 4: That hard no, but I do. I do believe that because so many of my friends they're like they've been in ruts and like they are just like I give up on dating and then like someone just comes in and it does happen. I do believe that.

00:33:46
Speaker 1: Well, I'm still waiting, so you know, let me go open my door so I can get in easier wall. Do you think it's tough to date in New York because my daughter who met her husband when she was thirty one, I think and the same thing. She was like, what's wrong with me and my daughters? As pretty as you are and successful in all those things, but she just hadn't met the right guy. And you know, she said New York. She was living in New York at the time, working. She said, Mom, it's impossible here because even if you're on a date and the guy likes you, he's like like a mosquito, you know, he's looking at the person that the next person that walks by going, oh, you know, I'm in the candy store. I mean, do you find that to be true?

00:34:29
Speaker 4: Yes, I think it's really hard to day in New York because I think there are just so many more options. It's like you meet people who, yeah, it's like work. There's like dating apps, there's happy hours, there's events, like it's just like it's a pool for them. So it's like, and you know, it's not just guys, it's girls too, but I feel like it definitely is a little bit more of the men. Yeah, it's really really hard.

00:34:53
Speaker 1: Would you ask a man out, Seraphina? Would you ask a guy?

00:34:57
Speaker 4: I have not met a guy that I wanted to ask out in a while, but I would ask the guy, Am, Yes, I will.

00:35:02
Speaker 2: Damn.

00:35:03
Speaker 1: Who do we know that we can hook her up with?

00:35:05
Speaker 3: Well, I think she's on the right road and the goodness is going to come to her. I hope knowing yourself and love yourself be happy within. Yeah, and so many people make the wrong choices thinking they're okay he is and they end up divorced or you know, wasting years that life realizing you're not the one, You're not my person.

00:35:27
Speaker 1: I do think positive attracts positive. I really, you know people say that to.

00:35:33
Speaker 2: Me, Kathy. I love what you're saying.

00:35:37
Speaker 1: I do people. I've that's one thing that I always have been positive. But you know, I went through a tough time when my husband died. But I've realized that if you put out that positive vibe more positivity comes. Oh I hate that question. I hate that expression.

00:35:53
Speaker 2: That's what you're saying. I mean, I've been preaching it so since day I metver.

00:35:59
Speaker 1: Just yeah, whatever, you know who's with the guy and who is and give me a break.

00:36:05
Speaker 2: But that's not necessarily the end all.

00:36:09
Speaker 3: But you know what, great I love you get that invite right to us.

00:36:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, trust we you know we if we get to go like, we don't want to sit there and say, now, let let us tell you what you need to do to get the guy. However, you tell me who you want and I'll club him if he doesn't ask you why.

00:36:33
Speaker 4: That's so happy?

00:36:36
Speaker 1: You know, any guy with a brain in his head, Well, Grant has a brain in his head. I'm just saying, you are a lovely person the right guys you know, and you're you're a successful, smart woman. Revel in that.

00:36:50
Speaker 4: Thank you. Yeah, I feel good things coming for me this year. I'm like, very positive about it.

00:36:57
Speaker 2: Yes, number the three so definitely going to be a good Yes?

00:37:01
Speaker 4: Yes?

00:37:01
Speaker 2: What wait what I like odd numbers? Three, five seventy nine.

00:37:07
Speaker 1: Well, I'm so glad that you like odd numbers. What does that have to do with our good life for coming.

00:37:12
Speaker 2: Because thirty three.

00:37:16
Speaker 1: That just means her good life is coming.
