You'll be got be baer. It's the Internet. You're busy. Let's do this for October twenty third, twenty twenty three. For the next hour or so, let me help you sort through the world of gaming on Games Mornings Live with me Jeff Grubb. Today, the reviews are in and Konami has certainly collected some metal gears and Spider Man two is a hit. But first, please join me and welcome you today's co host of Game mess Mornings. It's Lex Luddy. Everybody, LEXI, how are you doing. I'll be honest, I had a pretty shitty weekend, but I'm entering my zen Master era. I'm nothing's gonna bother me anymore. I'm not gonna get on anything. Yeah, literally, not gonna just gonna be a peaceful, being, moisturized, thriving. The whole thing, the whole thing that they say I didn't moisturize. I shouldst afol bad start bad start right, okay, right, school that whole thing. I'm back to being sour and angry about everything. But yeah, I'm not doing too bad. I've been busy. It seems all of my work is coming out at the exact same time. Things that I've been working on for the past like over a year. Had an interview with Andrew Sholdeyes get published in Play Magazine, which is really good and you should read it, especially if you want to check out what that game looked like at different stages during its seven years of development. I have a piece coming up in the next Lost and Cult which just got kick started or kick funded whatever fundraised. Yeah, kick funded and they have their own fundraising system, but go back dash and buy that if you're curious. And fair warning for that one. A lot of like trigger warnings. Not a fun piece, and I have two of yous this week. I think I'm with everyone else who is waiting on codes for at least one of those games. The other game not as many people are excited about, but I think everyone's still waiting for that code. Yeah, I think I think I haven't heard anything, and I have. Honestly, I hadn't been It did not even occur to me until I'm like, it's Monday, lexis here talking about getting review codes. Fuck all right, Yeah, I guess it's time to look forward, because I listen. I've been risk deep in Mario Wonder over here and really enjoying myself. It's that is a very sorry said it that way. I'm sorry I said it that way everyone, but it's true. I have been enjoying myself a lot with that game. Holy shit, that's a good video game. Please leave Mario alone. We say anything about Mario. There's a lot of elephants in that game. You gotta do what you gotta do. Uh, it's boy, that's a magical game. That's a magical game. But yeah, I'm with you where I'm like, okay, yeah, there's at least one huge game like later this month. I still want to get get my hands on and play, and I know everybody else does as well. So do you feel prepared for that? I mean it, like you said, you got a lot going on, You got a lot going on. Yeah. Yeah. I also have a piece on Polygon going up at some point today maybe, but yeah, it will be nice to have some time to play some video games again. And even if I am reviewing them, it's it's always nice to play them. I think it's kind of weird because it feels like, even though everything's arriving in October rather than November this year, it all it feels very relation in too. The year. It already feels like we'll right at the end of the year and before we know it, it's gonna be Game of the Year lists, and it's gonna be Game Awards, and it's gonna be everything. Do you think that is at all, like even like, let's say a ten effect of Jeff Keey like because because his award show is in early December, that if you come out, if you come up too late, you won't be considered for that, and that that probably does have an effect on sales if or not in the Game of the Year or the Game Awards for Jeff Kewey, Right, Yeah, definitely, And I think like it's already fucking weird that we do the Game Awards in the first week of December, Like if the Oscars did in the first week of December, that'd be fucking weird when you consider how many movies come out around the holidays. Well, I mean, I mean to that point, like the reason the movies come out in the holidays is so that they are fresh in award voters memories. That's why all the award worthy stuff comes out at the end of the like at the end of the year in December, and then the shit stuff comes out in the beginning of January. Like all the shit that these movies Steers know is terrible, they put out in January. That doesn't matter. We put out our prestige stuff in December. So that is something that does happen in movies. So the idea that it would be happening in gaming isn't crazy, although I mean, there's so many other variables and factors into like when you release a game and how long the game takes to make and all this stuff, and you know, getting it out before the end of the quarter, that stuff's probably still bigger. But I bet some of these companies are at least somewhat taking this into consideration because we used to November used to be the biggest busiest month without a doubt. Now it's like it feels like October now, And that makes sense if you're looking at it through the lens Achille. Do you think anyone's really mad that the Avatar game is coming up the same day as the Game Awards. I think anyone's really mad that it's not going to get nominated. Me, well, that matter it's nominated, would be mad. I'm busy. I'm not gonna be able to play it. I'm gonna have to work able to you won't be able to hang out with the memorable characters like Jake you got it, Jake Swey Yeah, yeah absolutely and the tool Kun the most memorable characters in any movie, in any film of all time. A fucking space So Mike's Twitter handle, that's not a fucking listen, if there's ever been a space well, it's definitely Mike Manadi. That's it's not It's not a fat joke because I'm fatter. I'm fatter, uh I. You know now that we talk about Mike and Avatar, his birthday is like the day after that. I think, so we could just save it for that. We could play that game for his birthday. Yeah yeah, play through all of it, not allowed leave la until you Beatish. That sounds a good delight to me. I'm all in. I'm trying to think of things that sound miserable, and you're like, fuck, yes, yes, let's go, let's go. You can't get me, Alex, you can't get me. Let's explain what we do here most weekdays. I Jeff grabblehelt Piecer gaming life back together. That includes breaking news and maybe even some of our own original reporting For all these topics, I'll get the input of a bona fide expert who will make me look smart. If you were watching live on twitch welcome. You can always listen to the show later on podcast feeds by searching for Games Mornings, or find the RSS on giant bomb dot com. You can also catch the show later with chapters and timestamps on YouTube. Hello YouTube, I feel like that went by really fast? Am I talking too fast? Today? Everybody? You know what? Too bad? I'm not gonna slow down. We're seven minutes in. Who cas exactly? All right? We have a lot to get into. We also just got another news story, Yes we did, so we're actually just start with that. We have a lot to get into, so let's start the morning mess with. Let me click over here. Microsoft has confirmed its next Xbox showcase for this week, featuring new footage from third party titles. I'm just gonna click on this link. I didn't even fucking see that. I was talking about Fallout, a TV show getting a release station. Oh it does. It does have a trailer, and no, it just has like a pit boy counterface scrolling and then it says the twelfth or the fourth. Oh no, sorry, American dates are so fucking stupid. I fucking hate your dates. Yeah, that's fair. It's it's the twelfth of the fourth, twenty twenty four. What the twelfth or the fourth? Whatever? The what's the fourth month? I'm April okay, April okay, April twelfth, okay, yeah, yeah, you're right. Our death way we do our dates is weird. Sure, I get it. I mean it's how you say it. The month comes first when you say it, so that's why we do it that way. But no, it doesn't. The month never comes when we say it. April twelfth, April, yeah, April, well yeah, April twelve, the twelfth of April. Yeah, well listen if you're gonna use of and big words like that. Fuck all right, So I guess we'll see more from that show here soon. But yeah, okay. Xbox confirms it's next showcase featuring Alan Wick two Like a Dragon, Infinite Wealth. You happy we got your game in there. I'm so fucking happy right now and more from Zachary Body at Windows played more of that game than almost anyone, like on the Panic it was at eg X, and I queued multiple times to play it, and they were not happy about that. A man who was clearly from Sago, Japan was like, this person already came up, and I was like, Yeah, what's their problem? Geez? Well I skipped the line the first time because I had an appointment, But second time this person here again. So what all right? Here's what you need to know from Windows Central Xbox is. The next digital showcase event is the Xbox Partner Preview, dedicated to third party Xbox studios and partners. The show will be nearly thirty minutes long in feature trailers, in gameplay footage from multiple games, Indie Gym's upcoming Xbox Game Pass games, and highly anticipated Xbox and Windows PC titles. Will all be President President. That includes looks at Allen Wake two like a Dragon, Infitt Wealth, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Arc Survival Ascended, and more. I can't remember which one is? What is? It's not Our Survival too? No, I think this is this like the upgraded version of ARC Like did they move it to fucking Unreal Engine five or something? And they're because I know they're doing a lot with that game still, and then they keep pushing back ARC two and Vin Diesel's just furious. Is there anyone playing that game except for Vin Diesel and like Russian bots? I mean probably not. No, I mean, listen, those survival games are huge. But I guess you're right. It could be bots. I don't know, is it bots? We said that about counter not counter Strike to Team Fortress two, and I bought that one because it's like the hats, Like there's a lot of hats you can get and you could sell. Though I don't think arc Ascended has that same thing, does it. I don't know. I don't know if they have any internal marketplace. I'm also trying to see what Dungeons of Hinterberg is. This looks cool. Well, you're gonna be able to see a lot more about it when this Xbox Partner previewgig goes live Wednesday, October twenty fifth, twenty twenty three. That's the year we're in right now, at ten am Pacific time and one pm Eastern, that's six pm BST. Bullshit time? Is that what that is? I can't do mats at this hour. When I say this hour, it's four o'clock in the afternoon, so any hour, yeah, right there, right with you. I was challenging myself to multiply a couple of big numbers in bed the other night, and I fall asleep before I could finish it. So that's a good trick if anyone wants to try. And like I sometimes wonder if me and my dad are actually related, because he'll just be like, what's like five hundred and thirty by twelve, and you will like start figuring it out and saying until three hundred and then that's so one sixties, so it would be six thousand sometime. I lost track. Is my my working memory for the bad But we got there. We got close enough. All right, let's get back into this actual run video games. Yeah, we're talking about that'll be a good show. I'm sure it will be a small thing, because will they show anything at this that they wouldn't show at the game Awards? No? I mean, listen, it sounds like a small little thing. This is I don't expect anything like new New. This seems like, hey, we got commercials, and you idiots love watching commercials, and I'm like, yeah, I do, all right, I'll watch sure, but I'm not expecting anything close to a direct or even a state of play. This sounds like a smaller thing leading into the holidays, trying to build momentum of Starfield and good luck, we'll see if they're able to do that. Wings up that maybe Baldersgate three might get a release stage. That's a great poll. That's a real good poll. That's interesting. That could totally happen, like even like like potentially Shadow drop me. It's a big game that probably won't happened, but they said before the end of the yeares was what they were going for. They'll probably just give a date. You're right, but hey, one can hope, all right. Middle Gear Solid Collection review roundup. Game Spot gave it an eight out of ten. Konami has still put together a comprehensive bundle, collecting five highly influential games and multiple variations from a period spanning twenty four years. There are other ways to play these games, but I think we often undersell the appeal of convenience. Being able to easily access them on all of them on a modern console is a major selling point for someone like me who only ever owned the original games on their original consoles. Middle Gear Solid Master Collection Volume one is indispensable. A Game Reactor gave it a seven out of ten said no, there's not much here to justify a purchase if you already own the twelve year old HD collection or the ten year old legacy collection. Meddle Gear Solid Master Collection Volume one is well stocked, but incomplete, containing great games that could have been updated, and putting money straight into the pockets of a greeny publisher by but only in an emergency and at your own risk. Do you think people don't like I don't know where you're getting that from. The Verge says, I'm not going to see. I'm disappointed with the results. I think it's great that such a huge swath of metal gear history is now readily available and easily playable on modern systems. But there's also a part of me that thinks Konami missed an opportunity to give metal Gear Solid a particular in particular, a fresh coat of paint and update it for modern audiences. Okay, this was never going to be that right, But that said, this is also not quite up the stuff when when you do compare to some of these other HD collections, and then that said, uh, that that's not really the alternative. I think it's the alternative for huge metal gear fans who have been with the series from the beginning and or or you know, came into it late and did get those HD collections, but those aren't readily available anymore. Though. Many of the Metal Gear games metal Gear Solid games got taken down and have not gone back. Yeah. Yeah, that s three collection I saw for sale literally two days ago for about one hundred yearl which is not so. So what we're talking about is let's just get Metal Gear Salad back out there for new audiences. More people are playing games than ever before. People know about Metal middle Gear Salad. Many people have played it, but not everybody. In fact, I would say at this point most gamers have not played middle Gear Salad and most of the middle Gear Salad games. So I've just played Rising. I played Rising, and we played Rising and about five hours of five. I know about Metal Year through Osmosis, but like, was it different general, Like it was an adult game when I was not an adult, you know, And I have thought about going back. I think it's released at a bad time for thatsh but you know, I do think this will sell pretty well, and yeah, like people will play this though, Biash. I think the really interesting thing is will it like spur them on to do further collections of stuff like four and piece Walker, because like, once you get past three, it is like, if they were to do a collection volume two, what would you include in it that like fans would actually want Except for four and five we just walk you about Rising in there. You could totally get away with it doing that as well. So that's peace Walker's not in this, okay, So then yeah, that's that's enough for a volume two. I think listen, if they get volume or if they get metal Gear Solid four ported and working on everything, that's huge, Like that's a major thing right there, and then they could sort of whatever else they throw into that collection, Volume two will sort of be icing on the cake. I think for a lot of people. Oh, my good friend Scott McClane chat shouts out Acid Matt Roy's Metal Year Solid Acid. There you go. Yes, the acids. Yes, there's two acids, three acids. I can't I never played any of them. Yeah, I mean there's something they could do for sure, v our missions that's actually probably in here. Now think about it. What if they do one that's like just peace Walker. They just re released peace Walker again and they call it like the Miller Collection. Listen, we can't. We got to stop catering to that monster. We got to stop giving him what he wants. He thinks the world revolves around him, and there's a lot of evidence support to support that. I get it, but hey, yeah, got cut him off. Cut him off. Now, he just seemed to happen to that man and fall in his lap through no follow his own He's lazy. He just lays about and it all just happens, all right. Kojima isn't mentioned in new credits container for Middle Garsell and Master Collection Volume one. Uh, this is reminded Tendo News a lot of stuff. People are picking this up. Basically, his name is still in the game in the original story, Yes, in the original credits, Yes exactly, Yeah, go ahead. It would be like crediting someone who like didn't work on the remake of a movie from years later. It would be like if they remade a movie from the six sies and then you were getting upset that they didn't have that person's name in the credits because they like worked on it. To some degree, their name is still there. It's not like they're trying to hide Kojima's existence. Like you load up Melgia Solid One, the first fucking words you see on screen are Hideo Kajima, Like she still is all over those games. If you way, someone is going to leave that game going. I wonder who made this? Yeah no, if they had like taken out the original credits, like no, here, here are the new credits to cover everything, and then he wasn't mentioned in there, then we have something. But those original credits are there, you right, the people who worked on this port, that's who's supposed to be credited here. I can imagine a world and when it's like when you watch a New Star War and it's like, oh, created by George Lucas. George Lucas doesn't fucking work at Disney, doesn't work at Lucas so many moore, but they still credit him. It's the creator. That's part of that is just how credits are done for film in movies, but based on like union rules and producer rules and all these other things like yeah, to credit the original creator. That is not how video games work. And also his name is in there for creating the games themselves, and then this port work is separate from that. So just kind of history. A good example of this is like that new Dead Devil show, Dead Devil Born Again. They literally added the born again like extra bit tu wish so that they didn't have to pay loyalties or include any mentions of the original creators. And I don't know what any of that is. They're doing Dead Evil again, Disney're doing Dead Devil. Was this like a Disney show? I never watched it. It was a Netflix show, The Dead Devil. Netflix show. Oh Daredevil. Oh I thought the accent got me. Your accent got me that time it said I heard dead Evil. Yeah, yeah, dead Evil. Everyone's favorite guy, Dead Evil? Like, who the fuck is Dead Evil? All right, there we go? All right. Sony says spider Man two is the fastest selling PlayStation studios game in history. This is from Chris scullyon f VGC. Marvel's spider Man two is the fastest selling PlayStation studio game in history, according to Sony. A tweet on the on the officials, I just saw something John said and shot keep going. Oh no, yeah, he got you. A tweet on the official PlayStation Twitter account stated that the game had sold through two point five million copies in its first twenty four hours. Great news Spidey fans. The tweet reads, Marble spider Man two has sold more than two point five million copies in the first twenty four hours. Thanks for making this a high flying launch. Crucially, the number specifically refers to copies sold through as opposed to shift, which means people have actually purchased the game. This is pretty good. The last episode, he declared the game its fastest selling at launch was God of War Ragnarok, which it claimed had sold through five point one million copies in its debut week, but they never provided figures for the first twenty four hours. But hey, if you want to like extrapol eight, you can imagine it probably gonna sell around the aim, if not more. Yeah, it's it's interesting. I think Steven Tochilo had a tweet about it. Of the previous games that they've added the title of fastest selling too when they've announced ish was Spider Man the First Spider Man with three point three million in three days, the Last of Us Part two with four million in two days, and got a Wall Wagnock with five point one in four days, And it's like, how are we measuring this? It feels deliberately ouscated. It feels deliberately to say yes exactly. I mean, let's be clear, this game is good. Obviously, it's selling well. Obviously it's selling fast. How we compare it from one launch to the other, I mean that's fuzzy anyhow, because there's a lot more systems out there. And then gattamor Ragnarak came out in PS four and PS five and all this other stuff. This is just PS five whatever. This game was going to sell great. It is selling great, and Sony came up with one figure to be like, here's how it's selling faster than anything else. Since like, okay, fair enough, if that's just a vibe than anything like, it's just yeah, and that's how we're feeling about it. It's yeah, And they definitely want to feel good about it, and I think they have accomplished that. I think the buzz going into this game was pretty high. But once those reviews hit and it was in that that low ninety range on Metacritic, that is going to kind of boost the game through launch, and that seems to really have had a positive effect here. And then on top of that, true Spider Man, it's it's super easy. I was finding it super easy to fall into. Like, yeah, I fucking loved Miles Mahalas, and I don't know if like a bigger one is even what I want right now, Like I feel like we capped off Miles' story really well or like left a good point. I don't know where they're going to go from here, and like I've only played three or four hours now over the course of this weekend, but like, I'm fucking hooked as someone who is reading a bunch of comics and loving that shit. But yeah, I'm really enjoy Insomniac's choice in adapting things because they definitely do things their own ways. They're not just a lot of the time you see a Marvel movie where it's just like, oh, here's a story from a comic that we've adapted, or here's, in the case of Thought, the most recent thought, here's two of the longest running four stories that we shoved into a ninety minute movie, and none of it fucking works. But I really appreciate that Insomniac take inspiration and then go somewhere quite different with all their stuff. It makes those games feel a lot more refreshing than they would otherwise would feel, because can you fucking imagine if Spider Man twenty eighteen was another origin story. Can you imagine? Yep, they made the right choice of not of avoiding that. Have the Spider maybe established, and then they can have fun doing Miles is an origin story and kind of mixed around with that. I don't know. I just I think it's got to be cool to be Insomniac, to be Brian Attahar and be establishing a new Spider Man lore that people are going to grow up with and remember and be like, that's my Spider Man. That's that's pretty cool stuff that. And now I do wonder what's what's next for Insomniac beyond I mean, obviously we know about Wolverine. Uh, there's we'll get to some stuff. He's teasing Spider Man three and stuff. But it's a shame this game is doing so bad because it's too woke, you know exactly. You know, Yeah, so fun. I mean, listen, go get go out, go broke. That's what I always say on this show. But but yeah, I mean, we'll see Insomniac. Seems like they found this a new niche. It's very hardly weird. It doesn't make sense called niche because it's so huge. But making these licensed Marvel games, uh and turning that into these massive successes, I don't know if it leaves a lot of room for them to do other stuff. I don't know if they want to do other stuff, because they're very good at this so well. I'd be super upset if we don't get another Watchman Clank, be really bummed. That I think is safe because I don't know. For some reason, I think that's the one franchise that Sony's like, that's our family game franchise, and we'll keep going back to that. But I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see. I we'll see if they were to adopt a different superhero. I know you're not much into Marvel comics or anything. Are there any apart from Wolverine that you'd be interested in? Let's see. I mean, Black Panther and Iron Man already spoken for. I think they could do an interesting job with Fantastic Four. I think if anyone could pull it off, it would probably be them. But I don't know. I'm like, of the of the superheroes that I would want a game of, we're getting that. We're getting Wolverine Wolverin would have been the one, So I'm very glad that they are. They're doing that, Naked Monk, says spoil Girl. That's a good shout. That's like before we had enough game that you could do some weird stuff with. I always think, and I have no idea if this is a spoiler or not, because I've only played three hours of the game, but I would love Spider Spider, Gwen Ghost Spider in this universe. Yeah, and then they get there eventually, I think, right, yeah, yeah, like the they get to a bunch of the different Spider Man at some point. I appreciate that they've been very they restrained themselves from according to the multiverse. Definitely, that's the right tale. John. Yeah, they haven't made they haven't exploded things out even too much to other superheroes, like the Avengers Tower was there, but it's not like fucking Captain America is showing up, and which I appreciate that they're like, no, if we're going to make a Spider Man game, we're going to tell a Spider Man story yep. And which shows some restraint on their past yep, yep. And they're smart in how they incorporate that stuff on it, like you said, in a very restrained way. So what do you think the next PlayStation Studios game is going that is going to be the one that outpaces this The next fastest selling one ever is again, I'm probably almost certainly Hell Diverse too. No, Hell Divers Do does look great? Yeah, for sure, what's even on the books at the moment, But i mean, listen, we know that there's gonna be AS two and there's going to be a Last of Us Part three. I don't think either are those actually self faster than this? Probably not? No, Yeah, And with the way that Naughty Dog seems at the moment, it seems like they're in a weird spot, so we probably won't see a Last of Us follow up for quite a while. Goes to Tsushima again, like that game sold super well, but I'm not sure how much more exponential that goes out when it goes when they go to do a sequel. Yeah, I'm curious to see what any of their new acquisitions come up with. The interesting thing to me about a lot of those multiplayer games that they've announced recently, like those that really weird, say a play that they did that people didn't like because they like announced two multiplayer games and just showed cinematics. Is like they've decided to go with original universes for those, which when you look back at like Sony, you know, Sony basically made the whole thing, like, let's move away from original universes and stick with the things that we know will do well. License IPE and franchises that already sold a billion dollars. I'm curious what they're thinking for creating original IP for multiplayer shooes was Yeah, I think that they probably are hoping for the best for those games. But if those games don't work out, I would expect them to try another round of multiplayer games. But like you said, with licensed IP, with big licensed IPE, it's not everything's going to be Insomniac working with Spider Man, but it does seem to have an advantage at least when you look at the numbers of If it's an established IP and it's really good, it'll have a chance to go to that next level. If it's bad or middling, it'll it could be a huge failure like the Avengers game, but if it works, it could be massive. Hope a marathon is good, but it's hard to even think of that as a Sony case, I mean station game. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah, because it is going to come to everything, and it is going to be a Bungee game first and foremost. It's very much like like the back of the old days of Sony Online Entertainment, where like they had their MMOs and that felt so disconnected from PlayStation. Many of them were on PlayStation. I think all of them were probably on PlayStation, but they weren't really PlayStation studio games. It was Sony Online Entertainment. So when Sony spun that off and sold it off and it became its own thing, it felt like, well, that doesn't affect PlayStation at all. That's the same status that Bungee has right now. Is there still someone like in a mine somewhere working on an ever Quest expansion. Oh yeah, definitely. Like Sony Interactive Entertainment has shut down, but he just stayed there in the office. They were called Daybreak games for a hot minute. I don't know if they still are. I wonder if they still are called that, but yeah, I think so. I think they're still releasing it request to expansions or yeah, EverQuest expansion is still coming out every year. Since Dark aileron. Yep, that's right. I mean, listen, I think Lord of the Rings Online got an expansion in the last couple of years. That might be wrong, but those those MMOs just get supported forever. All right, Let's get this next story, which is a continuation of the last story. Spider Man two beat Super Mario Brothers Wonder to number one on the UK physical charts. This comes from our boy, Chris Strain over at Games Industry dop is spider Man two beat out the competition from Super Mario to claim number one in the UK boxed retail charts. According to GfK Data, the PlayStation five exclusive had a strong launch. It is the biggest PS five box launch of the year, with sales almost five percent bigger than the previous high point, the PS five launch, which is the PS five launch of Hogwart's Legacy back in February. Spider Man two's launch sales are just over three percent lower than the PS five launch of God Hoor Ragnarok, which was the biggest PlayStation launch of all time when it arrived last year. Of course, this is purely physical sales, so we will have to wait until digital comes in to find out what the book game Camp comes out on top, and then Dring notes Scott of War Ragnarok launched on a Wednesday, where Spider Man two arrived on Friday, so last year title last Yr's title had a few extra days of sales as well. Spider Man two is the fourth biggest box game launch of the year, behind Zelda Tiers of the Kingdom, EA, Sports FC twenty four and Hogwarts Legacy. Compared with Miles Barrales, which released on PS four and PS five and twenty twenty, box launched sales with Spider Man two are forty one percent higher When looking at the Original Spider Man, the new game sales are thirty eight percent lower. But Dring goes on to point out that digital has has grown so much compared to physical in the time since that game came out in twenty eighteen that that's no longer a fair comparison. It just doesn't make a lot of sense anymore. But hey, listen, if you're selling anywhere close to the original Miles the Original Spider Man, you are going to be the probably the best selling game on the PS five when it's all said and done, may maybe at least in that top three for sure. So this game doing very well. Is this in line with what you were expecting for this to kind of like be behind those three games. I just need trap to know that you heard it here first, spider Man, bee off, Mario Superman. Yeah, Spider Man. But yeah, I've listened. I'm sending the internet. I've seen that all the time. Absolutely, But yeah, this game I was kind of expecting to sell better. There's such a the still a lingering, like everyone fucking loves Spider Man at the moment because Spider Man has more movies ultimately, Like Mario has one movie, Spider Man has three movies in recent memory. And I do think that those anecdotal things in the real world have a bigger effect than we often sometimes think. Yeah, I think UK is also just big on PlayStation and they have a lot of PlayStations already, and you know, the Switch is obviously doing great in the UK as well, but PlayStation's got that in the UK, and I think that helps Spider Man out a bit. The Drink says it was still a great launch for Nintendo as far as Mario's concerned. The game sales are slightly ahead of New Super Mario Brothers. We which was released in two thousand and nine. This makes it the biggest two D Mario game launch in UK history. In fact, it's only narrowly behind Super Mario Odyssey in Super Mario pre Dy All Stars in the list of the biggest Mario platform game launches of all time. Mario games, particularly the two D ones, tend to be more longer term sales. That's the difference here, is that, Yeah, to keep on selling at sixty dollars, yes, for there for this rest of this generation and into the next one. So I'm sure they'll have some deluxe version of this or you know, the backward compatible however they pull that off, it will continue to sell, and it really really will because so I'm really glad that chat is losing its mind trying to figure out how many Spider Man movies there are and the number just keeps on going up. Let's see, so there's uh three back Toby's the two Garfields, so five, and we have we had three with Holland, right, so we're at eight and then there is what else? I mean, Okay, wait, do we count the ones where he's not the star because like he's in Avengers and stuff. Is that does that count any movie with the word spider Man on it. Okay, like there was old animated ones, right or yeah, the Spider Man movie. Here we go. So yeah, the two Spider Verse movies. That's ten. And I feel like there was older ones, like old live action ones, but maybe those were TV movies and we shouldn't count those were the TV movies. Yes, I have watched some of them. Then I'll right, Have you watched the TV of Thor movie and the Hawk ones? I have watched a video recap of it because I couldn't bring myself to watch the Me and my brother we rent those all the time and watch those constantly. And not the Thor ones so much because that one was really bad. But the Hawk movies we watched those like five times each. I like the caption America one where like he just gets sick in a car and then the guy pulls over and then just punches the guy and steals the car. Help, this is the best super bow That's America right there. I'll remember like when Hawk like fell out of a helicopter and like died or whatever, but that stuck with me, remember that from it being a kid. All Right, we're gonna take a quick break. When we get back, We've got a lot more news to get to. We'll talk about all that after this. We're back. We're back, and we are talking more about Marvel's Spider Man, this time Marvel spider Man three, and Brian Hintar saying that could be pretty epic, but we'll see. This comes from Robbie Sinha at Gaming Bowl. Marvel's Spider Man two, launched before the weekend, received rave reviews, but Insomniac Games is seemingly already thinking about the future. It's somewhat teased its sequel. It's somewhat teased in the sequels ending. But in the frames per Second podcast Shout Out to Lucy and the Boys, Senior creative director Brian Intar briefly discussed a potential third game, and this is a good podcast. You guts should go listen to it again. Second, Lucy asked Buying about if he put the lions and tigers and bears on My Thing in there on purpose. I don't. I don't think so. I haven't finished listening to this episode, but I don't think so. But I also forgot to text her exactly the question, So that was my fault. Yeah, clearly if Spider Man won and Miles Morales were like our Iron Man and Spider Man and Spider MA two was like a civil war, where logically, where logically do we go from there? I think it would be pretty epic. But you know, we'll see. He said, Well, it doesn't seem like much. The Marvel analogies can't be a coincidence. After all, Infinity Ward and the Infinity War. It does say Infinity Ward here, so that's yeah, not entirely my fault. But also I should have just known what was happening there. After all, Infinity War and End Game followed the events of Captain America's Civil War, while Civil War in the comics was followed by Secret Invasion. We'll see if Insomniac's next Spider Man has the same kind of scale. There are one thousand percent making a third one of these. They're definitely making a third one of these. Oh no, I think they've done now. Yeah, you're right. They're going to focus on like more popular characters like the Dazzler or Jesus Man. Yeah, big Wheel, Yeah that Jesus, Yes, Jesus more Jesus. Can you Insomniacs to Jesus. Can you imagine how any gadgets you'd have? Oh yeah, just like the cross would open up and each side would have a different gadget and it'd be pretty sweet. Uh. And so okay, he's also like been asked about or maybe he wasn't asked, but someone from from Insomniac was asked about a Venom game. So like they're teasing maybe a Venom game, like, hey, we'll see what the fans say. And he's out there talking about, Hey, Spider Man three would be epic. Uh. And the game has a lot of setup for any potential sequel. Uh. What what do you want to see Insomnia take on after Wolverine? Do you want another Do you want Spider Man three right away? Do you want them to do a stopgap sort of thing like they did with Miles Morales? Which I know that might sound pejorative, but I think stopgap as saying like, hey, this is another bump before we get to the real sequel. Or do you want to see them try something? Do you want to see them make resistance again? What do you want to see? Uh? Fuck no, no, yeah, everyone is screaming for more resistance every time I log on I can't get enough of it. But No, I do think that Spider gn would be great for Miles Miles style spinoff. I think that that character is by far the most interesting Spider Man character that has been around since they created Miles. And I think when Stacey has even after Spider Gwen has a lot of like years to make up four of being treated like Shish as a character, and the way that Insomniac handles their characters and their writings, I would like to see what they do with her. I would love it if the next game was that smaller scale as well, because I think that instead of building and building and building and building, adding some pacing to it, where not every game has to be the biggest fucking game in the world, having it so that like, no, this is a smaller story, This is a more personal story, and then going back to the bigger thing lends the bigger thing more wesh. And you saw that with the Marvel cinematic stuff, where now that everything is trying to be a crossover event, and now that everything's trying to be the biggest thing, it can like you don't get any time for character growth, and you don't get any time for why you actually care about all of these cossovers because everything's a fucking crossover. I yeah, And it's the kind of thing where they are going to have diminishing returns in terms of like what people are expecting from a Spider Man three. I think if they don't take a time with one of these, you know, expand alone games like a Miles Morales or maybe Experiments. I think what happened was, so you know, you're really Spider Man in twenty eighteen, then in twenty twenty already you got Miles Morales ready to go. And that's because you know, it's using the same city and stuff, and they're smart about that, and no one, no one's out there complaining about that. With Spider Man two, we're like, oh, it's the same city again. It's like, no Spider Man's in New York. It's like such a huge advantage for Insomniac to help them get these games out on a good pace. But you know, as much as I love how they focused in on what you're doing in Spider Man two and making sure that the stuff is rewarding and fun, it is still mostly the stuff you were doing in the first game. That's not really complaint it, just it is the case now. I think if we get to the third game and we're still mostly doing the same stuff we were doing in the last one, and the story kind of works the same way, where it's a lot of forced walking and talkings, and it's a lot of like you know not I mean, I don't want to complain about too much, but Mary Jane doing her stuff. I think at that point it's like, oh, Okay, this isn't really this series isn't really growing and new in different ways. Experiment with a smaller standalone thing, maybe with a different character. Spider Gwen would be very cool, go Spider Hell. Even with the story of Spider Gwen, it would make sense to set that in a separate universe with a different outside, sure, and that would be and I think that would also make sense for how they had where the status of the world is in the Spider Man the core Spider Man games, to like have like a you know, obviously, then that does have the threat of the multiverse at that point, though, if you have your own separate universe over there, made by the same studio, well hope, maybe they could still have that restraint straight And also that means they can get more of these games out faster if the next one is a smaller, more focused one, and then they do Spider Man three after that. But I do wonder where that leaves the rest of Insomniac's games, and even like the idea of them taking on a new IP, which seems just very unlikely at this point, right use two. Okay, Well, well, okay, now that you've said that that's definitely gonna happen. We'll see. I still like the idea of a big studio like this taken on new IP, But if I were them, I would not. I just wouldn't, And so I don't blame them for not doing it either. Well, we'll see what happens, all right, let's move along here. Nintendo accounts to help ease next gen transition, according to Doug Bowser from Liam Dulan at Nintendo Life. Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser has reiterated in the same interview with in Verse how Nintendo accounts would carry over to a new generation of hardware. While he can't comment and won't comment on rumors about a switch successor, Bowser did essentially confirmed Nintendo accounts will be utilized going forward to ease their transition process. You further mentioned how the goal is to minimize the dip you typically see in the last year of one cycle and the beginning of another. Doug Bowser said, well, first, I can't comment or I won't comment I should say on the rumors that are out there about a switch to But one thing we've done with the switch to help keep to help with the communication and transition is the formation of the Nintendo Account. In the past, every device we transitioned to had a whole new account system. Creating the Nintendo account will allow us to communicate with our players if and when we make a transition to a new platform and to help ease that process of transition. We've talked about this before. Nintendo in its earnings reports when it's talking to investors has pretty much said this exact thing. But now it's like Doug Bowser out there kind of communicating it publicly and setting up expectations of how this could work. A Nintendo account only matters to us as consumers if there is this strong continuity from the switch to the switch to now is actually carrying over, Like, who he fucking cares if it's just your user name exactly. People I actually care about is that save data right? And it's like, you know, key to that is I'm subscribed to Nintendo Switch online, and I'm going to keep that subscription because I'm getting the same benefits, if not more on the next system. That's gonna help. That's the thing that actually helps smooth over these transitioning periods for these companies. That's what Sony did really effectively. From the PS four of the PS five, it had like it was it kept growing through those years, where in the past it always had a major huge fall off when it when the last system stopped selling and the next system had all this like uh uh you know the costs associated with getting it off the ground, Well that wasn't a problem anymore. And Nintendo definitely wants that for them. They looked over what Sony is doing like that, we want that for us, but that means we got to get something out of this. Uh do you how are you feeling about backward compatibility and that continuity from the switch to the switch to at this point, Yeah, I was gonna say a lot of this, the particular phrasing of like, oh, we don't want a big drop. That really does spell sort of this feeling of like, oh, you're working on a lot of cross generation games, because if you don't want to see a drop, you're still going to need some of them to sell on the thing that actually has a bigger user base. Otherwise, like, even if you do have you know, save data carry forward, if it's not also carrying back, then you're not going to have the same sales of games without as many consoles in the market. This is a really good interview. You should go read. Willer did a great job Onish and I think it's really interesting to see someone like Doug Bowser sort of just straight up asked a lot of the questions, like he's not going to answer a lot of these, but you still have situations like this where things that are relevant come out of them, and it sort of shows why asking these questions, even if you know they're not gonna answer them, is worthwhile. The other thing that was interesting about this interview was him basically saying that Nintendo of America would recognize any unions if they were to form, but also basically saying like, but we have such a good work environment. No one's really talked about forming a union, and everyone loves working here and we don't have any staff turnover, which is a really nice way to get around. Like, we have a lot of contractors who are fucking miserable and do to bash. So he had a look. So basically he's some line where he's like everyone's always smiling and happy. It's like, yeah, when you're around people are going to smile at you because you're the boss. You're Doug Basser, and if you're around people are going to smile it because they want you to think that they're happy people that you want to be around. So that's maybe not a great measure of whether or not people are being treated fairly at work. Hey, he's saying that they would recognize unions or at least have that conversation. That's something U. But Nintendo of America and Nintendo across the board around the world has had trouble with labor just like all these other companies, and isn't some special case, and you know that you go a little back into their history in Japan, ig Alan Numa talking about man, I never see my family and say, oh, fuck, dude, you should probably change that. There's that old demo Derby where whoever was on it was watching the Granchoismo footage that they had, and the developers are like, we sleep here every night. We bought in mattresses and put them under the desks, and like that was the fucking stuff being shown like as promotional material. Like you know, these a lot of Japanese companies fucking have this history in their blood and it. You know, even if the American side is saying like, oh, everyone's fucking happy, and the europe inside saying that, the Japanese side saying that, yeah, you don't, you don't know yep, exactly, I'll say these last couple of stories. Reports as PlayStation head of production is leaving after thirty four years. This is from Alex Hopi, a game reactor, via David Jeffy. It is being claimed that Connie Booth, yep, here it is, here we go. It is being claimed that County Booth, had a production at PlayStation, has left the company. The concrete details are as yet unknown, but David Jeffy hopped on YouTube recently to explain Booth's alleged departure. Here's what I could tell you. She is no longer at Sony. Right, I don't have a lot of details. I don't know if she was fired or laid off. When I heard the story, everyone was telling me she was fired, said Jaffe. I've heard it from four people, two in and two out of Sony. Jaffe elaborated by saying that saying Angie Smetz, a twenty year veteran at Gorilla, would be taking the role again. These sources are unverified at the moment, so we can't confirm or deny anything for sure. But by Jeffe's account, count Booth is out of PlayStation along with her team. This is like he was tweeting about this on Sunday. I guess saying that, hey, this is a shame. What's happened station? The PlayStation we know is dead, Like they still make good games whatever. I'm not like, you know, saying it's the end of the world, but the PlayStation I worked AT's gone. It's okay, it's hard to like, it's hard to like put a take a temperature reading from from a David Jaffe sort of rant. But we don't really know what happened here, don't know what this means for PlayStation. I don't think PlayStation's commented on this yet. Yeah, I'm gonna go on lim and say, like, Jaffy isn't to train journalists, right exactly, Yes, And I think something that is worth noting. Anecdotally. The last game that I can find Cannie being credited on is Concrete Genie, and Sony recently laid off all of pixel Opus last year. I say recently. That was sometime last year, so it might just be there wasn't any new position. And Herlington still says that she's there to present. Yeah, it's a lot of speculation. I don't it's super If I were someone in the Indus, I wouldn't start spreading that someone had been fired like this. I don't think that's super cool. Yeah, him saying I heard she was fired, it is like kind of a rough thing to put out there, for sure. He like, we don't know what happened, and that that phrasing could mean so many different things to so many different people. So what we like, what we do know is nothing. Although you know, Sony and Connie Booth have not come out to say anything one way or the other on this, so we'll say, you know, maybe very gently, she might not be at Sony anymore, might be moving on to somewhere else, so we'll see PlayStation is laying off other people, though at the Visual Arts Studio. This comes from Sophie McAvoy at Games Industry top Is PlayStation Support Studio. Visual Arts Group has been hit with another another round of layoffs, but with several former employees sharing on social media last week that they have been let go Unfortunately. Following the wave of layoffs last week, my last. The last week was my last at PlayStation. Former senior level designer at Visual Arts Daniel Bellmayer wrote on LinkedIn. Senior technical recruiter Matt Barney shared a similar update on LinkedIn, adding that he knew this layoff was coming and wished those impacted the best of luck and their future endeavors. Rigging artist Sean Teo posted to social media that their contract had come to an end as well, but as noted by VGC, did not indicate whether this was related to the layoffs. It's unclear how many staff have been impacted by the redundancies at the stage. Games Industry dot Bus has reached out to Sony for more information. Visual Arts Studio is the team that was trying to take over Uncharted and then Nadiydog got pretty territorial about that, and then they're like, well, maybe we could do a remaster of Last of Us Part one, and then Nady Dog got territorial about that as well and took that over from them. I think they were trying to step up, and a lot of people that were working there as like senior developers at a visual arts studio. They left a couple of years ago because of all that, and they're like trying to start their own studio and they're pitching their stuff to a bunch of different publishers, and I don't know actually what ended up happening with that, but this like it's supposed to be like a technical group that does a lot of art and does help with other things, but they always had ambitions to step up. Not getting that chance probably means that there was something of a brain train, and then the people left there might have been like sort of lost at sea at that point. I don't know. That's how I read the situation. What do you think here? You look at this here, and like they were formed in two thousand and seven and during that time they've worked on games like The Last of Us in Childhood and Spider Man, Like they're not an untalented team. They're not a team. Aren't showing their chops. They're working on some of the biggest games that have released in the time since they were founded. And I can certainly imagine if I was, you know, a creative leader of our team, and I was being told you'll get an opportunity, you'll get something eventually, You'll just be like, fuck it. And if everyone's leaving, then Sony are like, well, why are we running the studio? I think like this seems like some pretty bad mismanagement of what appears to be a pretty big team and a pretty talented team. And I don't know how you can wind up with the being such a rush for people to acquire studios, for people to find talent, for people to find companies to make their games, Like there's more games that people want to be made than there are people to make the games at the moment. And you have a whole team, you have a whole team of artists and technical people, and you're not able to figure out how to restructure them in some way that you can get a game out of them. That seems like very poor management from higher up, not from anywhere within that company. Yeah, I think a visual art studio is also primarily based in California, and that's those employees. It also opened a Malaysian office apparently, so I'm not sure if they're hit as well, right, and it's well, I mean, you could also see the you know, I'm speculating, but you could see, Hey, people in California expensive, people in Malaysia affordable. Let's lay off to people in California high more people in Malaysia. I'm not saying that's what happened, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened. That's the kind of thing where you look at the numbers and you're like, yeah, I mean, listen, there's great support studios, great talented people around the world, and that's definitely true, and that's been proven. And you can get a lot of great stuff out of Malaysia without having to pay them as much as someone who lives in California. So who knows, we'll see we get more information out of this, all right, let's see last story here. Final Fantasy fourteen's Xbox Open beta release window has been announced. This is from chriscoing In at VGC. Square Enix has given a release window for the upcoming Xbox Open Beta of Final Fantasy fourteen. A tweet on the official Final Fantasy fourteen Twitter account announced that the beta will be coming early next year. Mark your calendar, Xbox fans. The tweet reads the Final Fantasy fourteen Xbox Series X slash S Open Beta Test. It's scheduled to begin mid January to February. Final Fantasy fourteen will officially be launching on Microsoft Console in spring twenty twenty four, but the open beta will be the first chance for Xbox players to finally get their hands on the long running MM So you go, I think it's part of this beta. You're gonna be able to play a lot of it, like a significant portion of it, so people probably be able to get a start on their character or whatever, including the award winning Heaven's Sword expansion from to sixty levels. That's exactly what I basically took the words out of my mouth. Yeah exactly. Yeah. Hey, Hey, good for y'all. Yeah, I'm happy. I'm happy for my siccos at Final Fantasy fan Fest this last week. Oh those memes are out of date now, I'm so sorry. Yeah, I haven't heard it in a while. So I'm like, I must not be it must not be accurate anymore. They probably got some new bullshit that they're on. Mike, do you not have a job? Why are you playing Final Fantasy fourteen right now? Basically? That's basically right, Jan says, Hey, PlayStation portal would be a pretty good way to play a Final Fantasy fourteen. Let's go. Let's fucking go, Jan, I'll play a play state. I'll play. I'll say fourteen. If I got a PlayStation portal, I'm lying, but I'll tell myself that so I could justify that's yeah, that you are making up bullshit so that you can buy another piece of hardware. Go up this you got. This needs to fucking end. You're one of the fucking Fin's not gonna happen you, right, Americans a big place bothered? All right? I think I got a poll question over here somewhere. There we go. This is buying a PlayStation portal? Yes, oh, yes, well yes, sir, Yes, of course there we go. Everyone voted yes. Incredible, Uh all right? From Friday, Is Ray tracing a big deal for you in the next Nintendo console? Eighty eight percent said no and twelve percent said yes. So yeah, it's about you know, one out of every eight and a third person, right, that's it. Wait, tracing isn't a big thing for me in current console. It's like I'm like, oh, it's a cool piece of technology, but there's not been a single game where I'm like, fuck, yeah, this game is ray tracing. I'm buying it because it has ray tracing. Like I didn't buy my PlayStation five because it had ray tracing capabilities. I bought it because it was the next fucking PlayStation. Yep, exactly. I mean, hey, I think that ray tracing's time has come and gone in terms of being a strong marketing buzzword, Like they were looking for something after four K because they sold about it as much as they could sell on the back of four K, and that stuff is actually four K is probably still a better buzzword than ray tracing, even with ray tracing truly getting much better with stuff like the recent Cyberpunk updates and DLSS three point five, and I do I think that's very impressive. That's one game, and it's still not the reason to go out and get that game. It's just not It's not a reason to go out and get a GPU that supports it or whatever. So when it comes to the switch, I mean, if I have the option between more battery life and ray tracing, I'm I'm picking battery life every time, so we'll see and then that's like not even a mention performance where it's like, if I can get thirty frames per second solid or sixty frames per second, I'm choosing that over whatever would happen when you turn on fucking ray tracing on a goddamn particle switch. That's I know. Thanks. Yeah, ray tracing just seems like a weird thing to even want on a handheld because it's such it's a thing that is incredible when you look for the details. Like that's why ray tracing is incredible is because it is such a small detail to pay attention to, and when you're looking at like a seven inch screen, you're not seeing those details, that's right. Uh yeah, yeah, I mean and listen, that lighting already looks good. That's the biggest thing that was ray tracing's biggest problem is that bake the lighting looked fantastic. Artists got really good at that, and so ray tracing had to deal with artists basically emulating what ray tracing was already ray tracing emulates the real action of light. Artists were already doing that and getting pretty close and if not actually surpassing in a lot of ways because they can take artistically berdies with what happens with light. So when people look at a game, they're like, it looks like a video game. What are you talking about? And you have to explain, well, this is cool because of this, and so that sounds great for developers, and that's really what this is good for developers. And then occasionally it might look really cool in very specific circumstances, in something like a cyberpunk. All right, we got a new pole question. We're gonna get to that in a second though. LEXI. First, why don't you tell people where they can find you what you have going on? All that good stuff? Reminding about that lost in Cult book as well, Yes, and last and Culture doing their next volume of lock On. You can find some familiar names in it, like Lucy James and Ben Star. I also spied in the Arthur List and I'm in there, so you can go back that book and get a pre order version. My first piece for Polyon went up at the side of the show about transrepresentation and movies this year. I'll shot and chat now, So go eat dash and don't say mean things because that would be uncool. But if you're looking for me, and if you want to say mean things to me, I'm on Twitter at basically Lexi, both of which have eyes in them. You can find the website that I've run start Menu on Twitter at. The start Menu were a place for people to break into the industry, and you can find me popping around occasionally on this website annoying everyone here. It's a beautiful thing. Excellent. I love Lost and Call contributed to their handheld book that they did for the steam Deck right when I got my steam Deck. They're like, hey, you want contribua. I'm like a fucking steam Deck you when you're right about that? And they're like yea, yeah, yeah, So you should have asked them if you could like just contribute for all the like unknown Chinese handheld that no one's ever heard next run, I'll get that for sure, Yes I would. I would love to do that because there's some cool stuff that happens with those things. All right, New Pole question, what do you want Insomniac to make after Wolverine, Venom, Spider Man three, a different Marvel hero or a new ip. And yes, you're right, I didn't include resistance. Very interesting that you pointed that out. I don't. I didn't. You're right. Sorry, Uh okay, let's see here. Anything else we need to touch on. Oh yeah, we're gonna talk about this poll on the Games Morning Show on Wednesday. Here on Giant Bomb. Speaking of Giant Bomb, I'm gonna go to a meeting right now to figure out what we're doing this week. But you can look forward to very likely a new season of Blake Club involving me playing a bad video game. Dan Reikert emailed my wife and asked her for help putting together my costume, and he was like, it's like twenty minutes. It's just twenty minutes. You could just do this thing real quick. My my mother in law was here and my wife like they started working on that, and they immediately got furious at Dan Ryer because like he doesn't know what he's fucking talking about. This is gonna take all day. The thing he said to do wouldn't work, could never work. And I'm like, I I'm sorry, I don't know what to do I'm not allowed to look at it. I guess I can favor it, but no, we'll do this. I really appreciate that this feature started out as like a fun thing among friends and terrible emotually. Yeah, Like, I'm like, you know, you had to figure out content that you can make online only, and now it's this big, elaborate to do that is so fucking impractical for everyone involved. I'm like, are there prosthetics? Like my wife said, I had to like shave part of the beard, So that's happening on Wednesday. Maybe we'll see. I got to get the fucking Xbox three sixty set up, so we'll see. I don't know what it is. I have a couple of ideas. I'm like ninety nine percent sure I know what that game is. Dan hasn't told anyone else but jijets On saying it's not that hard. That game is fucking miserably hard. That game has some of the worst boss fights. Right. Well, we're gonna find out very soon, in a couple of days. Other than that, we'll have so much stuff happening on the website, voicemailt dom truck you Yeah, probably at Jeff. Jeff's a whole bunch of fun stuff here on Giant Bomb. Tomorrow, though, tune into the BombCast will be going live as always, I look forward to seeing you all there. Until then, though, LEXI, thank you so much for speaking with me about video games today. You know how I appreciate it. Thank you for having me on and letting me promote all my bullshit. I love it, Love your bullshit, some of the best bullshit out there. Until next time, everybody, you're the best audience in gaming. Have a good one, take care of yourself, and goodbye. Bade the blame
