Episode 203: Holiday Madness with The Greene Family

The Whinypaluza Podcast

Listen to this Whinypaluza Wednesday Live vlog episode with The Greene Family! An extension of the weekly blog, join Rebecca and her family on the live vlog, brought to you here in case you missed it last week!

Here is what to expect on this week’s show:

  • In the ever-growing to-do list for the holidays, it is ok to draw a finish line.
  • You CAN opt out of things that bring you additional stress.
  • Even with early preparation, we still have last minute things to do. Congratulate yourself for what you were able to achieve early!
  • One caveat of early preparation, especially with wrapping gifts, is that you might forget what you have and what each thing is.
  • Some people use spreadsheets and account for all the gifts, money spent, etc. Find something that works for you and your organizational level, whether it is a spreadsheet or a journal.
  • Pay attention to how you feel. If something brings you stress or guilt, change it. If you feel great doing what you are doing- keep doing it!
  • Don’t be afraid to cross things off the list that just don’t work for you.
  • Look for innovations or compromises on things you don’t want to let go of doing, but don’t enjoy.
