Now we're not gonna be able to see her, but we're gonna hear her. What I'm right now, the fact Friday's debut. So when we talk about today cash, what we're doing cash, we're talking about it. The thin line between self love and narcissism, A thin line, the thin line between self love and narcissism. And now Jade will define narcissism for me and Bank because we don't know what the funk that is. So narcissism is the act of no technically okay, So technically narcissism is excess, excessive interest and or admiration of oneself and one's physical appearance. Narcissistic personality disorder is what we're really talking about, and the definition for that is a disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self importance. Narcissistic personality disorder is found more commonly in men, and the cause is unknown, but likely involves a combination of genetic and environmental facts. So Layman's terms, what's the difference between just really loving yourself, having confidence in yourself, verse thanking you the ship when you're really not the ship, your your actual accomplishments. I guess a lot of people that think that this ship can't really ain't accomplish it. But like if Drake thank you this it Yeah he earned that right artists on Earth. But if you ain't did ship, if he did nothing, he accomplished that, how can you be How can be a narcissist? Now that's delusion? The main thing. The main thing I think when you're separating like narcissism from self love or whatever is when you're a narcissist, you have a lack of empathy for others. You have a lack of empathy for others. You really don't give a funk about people, And you also have like a need for like attention, and you have to have like people compliment. You said that, um, you believe that the world revolves around you basically, and you have to have your like you have to have like people telling you you're pretty, or you have to have people telling you that like you have nice things, or like you're rich, or like you're this or you're that. Like you need validation from everybody else except for understanding that you are basically your own validation. So basically should that should sound like a really kind of messed up, depressed space for antidepression. Only other people can make you happy. But I think with self love you can make yourself help. Yeah, yeah, this ship of ya. Yeah know what y'all j read A different definition is a person who has an excessive interest or admiration in themselves. So it's like they yeahs who But let me let me just get this out so that we can have some pointers on what we're actually talking about here. Um. Some characteristics of the narcissistic personality disorder are a grandiose sense of self importance, preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, and or ideal love. The belief that they are special and you need and can only be understood by or should associate with other people with special or high status institutions. Um, they need excessive admiration. They have a sense of entitlement. They enter personally have like an exploitative behavior. They lack empathy, Like I said, they envy others, or they have a belief that others are envious of them, and they demonstrate arrogant and haughty behaviors or attitudes. Basically, that's everything in the room, everything in the world. I don't think the lack empathy part, like see yourself a couple level for a couple of things. Anybody that got something going on, feel like they No. I think the thing is they might not have anything of that got something going on. Feel like that's where where is the thin line it? Because you can go a little bit over and you can go a little bit over this way and be a narcissist still aligning yourself exactly. I think that's where. Yeah, you older, you can have so much confidence to you would be a lot. Yeah. And then another thing with like with narcissists, they are very manipulative, manipulative, very manipulative. They can fucking trick you into thinking they're manipulative, and they project so they can trick you into thinking that with you and that you need them in order to be able to do whatever it is that you're trying to do, whether it's a relationship, whether it's business or whatever. Another thing that is gas and narcissism go hand in hand. Yeah, gas lighting. Okay, So gas lighting is a term that has been gathering pace over the past few years, and people are suddenly realizing his perspectives um. The term arose from a nineteen thirties play gas Light, where a husband, in an attempt to drive his wife crazy, keeps turning down the gas powered lights and the how else. When the wife asks why he is dimming the lights, he denies it and says that there are no dimmers. Over time, she finds herself going mad. Gas Lighting qualifies as a form of emotional abuse that involves denying a person's experiences and making statements such as that never happened, or you are too sensitive. So basically, for example, just like say me and scream go together, lying to somebody, lying to somebody, and to yourself. Basically, yeah, like say me and scream go together. We're sucking around whatever whatever, and Scream is cheating on me and I know like for a fact that Scream is cheating on me, and I also have like almost certain information that he's like cheating on me again with somebody else. But I do know for a fact that he's cheating on me. But Scream is telling me that I'm crazy, I'm tripping um too sensitive, or he'll tell me some ship like about myself to try to like reverse it and flipping back on me to where the heat isn't on him. And now we're talking about some ship that I did wrong, when the whole thing was bitch, I know you're cheating on me for a fact, and like you're tripant exactly. So two people that they always say so. The other question is like it's like lack of accountability though, right, yeah, yeah, that's part of it. Yeah yeah, narcissists have zero accountability, but none as a narcissist. Okay, So the best question is is a narcissist always bad? Because two people that they consistently call narcissists people just have people that know them and people that don't know them. It's Donald Trump and Kanye West. So some people will have different mixed views of Donald Trump and the Kanye West. But I know everybody has heard the narcissistic parts of their personalities are bad? How how is that? Who is it bad too? How? How is it good? Who is it good? To him? It serves his mental health? Like, Okay, he's telling himself that he's like you've seen we've all seen the Genius documentary. He had those same ideas that he has now when he before you blew up before he Yeah, he had that sense of the ship before he was the ship and y'all know what's wrong and what's right. Like we're not talking about like everybody have flowers though, No, that's what No matter if you whatever, he is that whatever year, everybody still had a same flows though. So if the yeah, if they that whatever, y'all saying, what do everybody else flowers? Like what you call the ship that people are being that's not narcissist? You that like it's a it's a it's a two way street. Can't something? Can you can you have a can you have a pot of somebody that's a narcissist or slightly narcissistic but they still be good people? Yes, you can still be a good person to be a narcissist. Also, what about if you're in a relationship with somebody that's just emotionally insecure and you just have confidence in yourself. What they consider you now being a narcist. No, you know what I'm saying. They can take it as you've been a nice I said, I don't even know. I need to get more into this because all this ship sounds like me. That's what I trying to God damn dunk no smoking my mom's Gemini is typical because if I did something to you and you bring it to me, I'm gonna bring up what you did to me too. I think the problem it becomes like, let me just say, the relationships is like, you know, you're not amitting, like the cheaters not admitting. They're just bringing up everything that this person, every fact that they did. You're saying one thing about it, but whatever you sign up for, you gotta made it, SEP. Whatever consequent come with what you're signed up that makes you flowing If you can't except what come with? You know what I'm saying, But I can't except. It's gonna be people in my comments saying black your fun or whatever. I might well goddamn unserstriped to me to being me. Godamn exit button. So I think that's I think that's I think that's petty, though I don't think that's narcissist. That's petty is part of being narcissistic. Yeah, And some narcissists people will sit there and make excuses support their decisions, like if I cheat on you, it'll be like, well, I only cheated because you ain't been doing this around the house. You ain't been doing this, this would cause me to cheat on you instead of just saying like Damn, I cheated off and I apologize, and I apologize like I cheated because you ain't been home. You've ben take care of them kids all day like some dumb ship. So then that makes you a narcissist of trying to find a reason why you're cheating vers just sitting Damn, my fussin that's involving around you. It comes back to you when it was about revelations. I can't even see hear that, Like I think that self, I did any because of this in a relationship definitly that's now, But in the streets or in like in here, I ain't going to bring up why I did something fun you that's why I did. I'm screaming because I can stand on whatever I did. But that makes you, that makes you want to you're taking accountability that you know what I'm saying. You could be a narcissist if you want everybody to accept your apology, but you can't accept nobody else's apology. Like you could sit here and like step on his point me like a my bad big dog, But if he stepped on your foot, you're like, god, damn, you can't take you can't. Some of them, well, I got narcissists. You can't take narcissistic tracks. Yes, yeah, part of narcissism, though it might be part of it. Yeah, but that's that we're putting the kind of verse against it. But maybe it's part of it. Narcissism is an evil twist. Yeah, yet yourself. Yeah yeah, it's like trying to love yourself and protect yourself at the same time. That's what said again, it's like trying to love yourself and protect yourself at the same time. So you're giving off a certain type of energy, not taking account what protect your heart. That's not because that's because if I'm trying to protect your heart, that's what it is. It's manipulation. It's not protecting your heart. Manipulation and projection. I this is a first time I heard about this. If let's let's let's let's let's let's think about a narcissist street person. Let's say they're in the streets, they hustle or whatever the case is, and they did a lot of bullshit that might have included snitching or this, that and the third. But basically when they get around people who haven't done all that, they're gonna make the people who haven't done all that making make them think that they're doing something wrong. Tommy know what I'm saying, Tommy from Power, Timmy from Power. What wasn't Hitler? Hitler is one of the biggest and what Hitler also jem and I or am I wrong? I think you're right? Damn you not to be a gym. But what I'm saying is a person knows and their heart in their mind they're wrong. They're never admitted, and they're gonna talk to that person and they'll keep talking and talking and talking and talking whatever till they start to believe that maybe it's me. Well you know it ain't you. That's the evil choice, I think, but they ain't nothing wrong with loving yourself. And another thing the narcissists often do is prey on the week. Yeah, the people because they could get over on them. It makes their job easier. They know they'll go for it, so they try them like that, like some people wouldn't go for that. That's another thing narcissists. You said, prey on the week, But sometimes they run from stronger people. They shy away from stronger people completely because they know they can't play those type of games like strong people will run circles around the narcissist, so they just avoid any type of conflict or back and forth with that. They know that they can't win, they can't go. They ain't going for that ship. You know what I'm saying. It's deep. So I definitely got some trades. Though. You're trying to tell me something narcissism. Narcissism, No, but yeah, it's what's the how can you? Like you said, you got to weigh it up what you're putting on your Your narcissism is down because it's it's in you. But what you're putting on your scale to have your self love come out more than that bad part. I still think. But I still think self love is just like um self love is. I want to be the biggest. I'm going to be the biggest. That type of ship, right, But I feel like narcissism is I am the business. I am the biggest. Without the facts to prove you the biggest delusion, You're delusion. People said, when he's being a narcissist saying he's the best for a live well, I mean he got an argument. You know what I'm saying. We might agree or disagree with this ship. But he actually has an argument. But if you only made one song and nobody knows you and you say I'm the biggest rapper, that's kind of like a narcissi. Narciss Narcissism is saying I'm the biggest rapper. Fuck Loe, Wayne that too. I see what you're saying, attacking something, bringing someone else down into the picture. Like okay, if you're just saying I'm the biggest artist, hey, okay, look what tip did. They got him, got him real far. He was the king of the South. Now he's the King of the South. But he didn't but the South he was. He was rapping up in the area that came out. There was so many other people that were Southern rappers. You come out with one song and saying you're the king of the South, He's gonna look at you crazy. But he earned that title. That's what I'm saying. He didn't come out like I'm the King of the South. Pemp c Saying like I'm the King of the South and gonna make y'all understand why yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. That wasn't. That wasn't. That was a narcissism. That was self love himself and who he wanted to be also how he did it, because like you said, he didn't come in like putting nobody else down, and but he just said I'm here. But it's some people. It also depends on how other people wanted to depict you. You don't you can't help. You can't help how you are viewed in somebody else's story. Because it's some people that that may still they may still think Tea is a narcissist. It's some people that still don't like he didn't say you can't make the niggas say pim s. Yeah, but they still don't like that he that he feels so highly of himself. It's some people that don't like Kanye, yeah, because of how he feels about himself as an artists can't said all these things. And y'all still because he put a documentary, Right, what did Kanye do wrong other than have his on the pin nik He didn't do ship. He feels highly of himself and he deserves to do that. It's not like he's just making this ship up. Nigga's great, he's a great artist. Oh he's a great lie Now yeah, now you're stream on the cover. Kanye fan. Yeah, there's just there's just certain things to just confuse what you wanna like about put On Scale doesn't here for that. Yeah, he just sometimes when he when he go out there on social media. Sometimes he go out there and I might not necessarily agree with him, but at the end of the day, the end result is a win for the Brown promo for the album he stopped. He stopped that ship as soon as the album came out. There you go, that is true. But you can really lead on social media. It's him being Ari is still posting I'm talking about I'm talking about this ship with like Cam and Pete. That is very narcissist, that ship. For you to sit there and go on social media, you have problems with your wife and who you are, and then you go on social media to talk about that ship. He felt like that was the only out let, you know, and then was made of even more a narcissist. Narcissist narcisscessivity. Was him buying the house across the street, like that's very like for the albums for the role out I want a narcissist think that was like, so let you let you get a relationship, you break up. What you'll do. And you already feel like because Kim is saying he's a narcissist, like him and saying he made him is a narcissist. We take one, maybe I'll give me that and made money out of it, will turn that to an enterprise. But that does not How does that make her? How does that make her? Yeah, that does not make it. When you say narcissist, that's immediately what comes up? Did he too? Did he catch this? Sometimes? Did he did? He did? He is the narciss I don't think he is. I don't. I don't see a problem with not with narciss has not. It doesn't affect anybody. Let's not make narcissists all the successful people. Though I think that, I don't. I'm just saying in general, people, he's a narciss I'm saying what I've seen on social media some people say that when you bring up the narciss comments, they throw his name in there as well. I don't think he's a narcissist. I don't think you feel like I feel like I feel like he's a self love Yeah, like, I feel like he's just very confident within himself about who he is and all the ship he's not. Nobody else ain't never heard him being called. I'll be on Twitter a lot. They do, they do, you know, you know, but but you know, the crazy thing he does have a point, Yeah, because he didn't hear that on my space. I don't fucking screaming. Everybody dig is successful at some point has probably been called a narcissus. You gotta be the jay Z Beyonce Beyonce they don't even talk for. But you have to be you have to be somewhat deluded in your talents to think that you're going to do something that somebody else has never done before, right, Like, you're not gonna be successful without thinking like that. That's why maybe some splash shifts of narcissistic tracy might not be bad. Michael Jordan's goddamn it, I'm the best after getting cut from the high school team, right like fucking I'm still about to go out here. And basically what we're saying is that definitely rest is soul. They definitely used to say that about Kobe Well, narcissus. They definitely say that about Kobe. Yeah, because he came from day one, I'm the one and ain't wanna tell me nothing, what about so and something? Man, he don't want to see me leave this ship. And he went out of there from saying But my thing is the people who might start like that, but then ten twenty years later it ain't really adding up and they're still on that. It's like, now you got to have reality, like you're not the one. You might be the one doing something else. You've got the one at this The rappers that feel like the that they are the hardest rappers out there, but we ain't never heard of them like there, that could be narcissum, narcissistem. That's like some rappers really just like no, no, no rappers come and do this whole like, man, they should have been talking about me. I'm a part of that, like I should have been there blah blah blah. And you we really don't even know who they are. It was a little inside. I was just saying, like some rappers, like, we haven't heard who they are. They may be local rappers, doping it little community or whatever, and then they feel like they've been passed up. They feel like they're the tightest rappers out there, they're the dopest people out there. And so and so then got up because he probably knew who Gucci was. I'm just putting quotations or you know what I'm saying, or he probably know who Future is personally, that's why he who he is. But I'm actually better than him. I'm see a dope ass rapper and everybody just ain't heard of mess. That is delusion until you you have to You have to prove yourself to be right. And until you earn that spot, you can say what it is. But until you earn that ship, you're delusional. What happens to like the Yeah, what happens about like the rappers that like, well we hear them, We be like, damn you hard, but we never heard of them before on the radio. So are they delusional? To the You don't because you don't need the radio to pop. See what you're saying not the radio on any any but nobody's playing it. This ship, man, not be that hard. Yeah, but you get in the game to be the best. You don't get in the game to say, Man, I'm like, I really ain't that good at this ship and I'm some bullshit for real. But you gotta do something to get to that reality most of the times because some people ain't doing it and get into that reality. That's all I'm saying. You gotta take it in all the man. But if they do tell me no, then I feel like I've exposed myself to this person and exposed the weakness to this person for nothing type people for whatever I was asking for or whatever I needed help with. So I felt like instead of me doing that again when it happened like one or two times out, whatever is going on with me or whatever is wrong. I'm just going to keep all that ship in.
