Obviously a lot has changed when it comes to the Real housewivese in Miami News broke that unfortunately the show has been put on Paus And before I get into like the nitty gritty of that decision, I do want to ask you when did you find out that this show was going to put on Paul. Did you find out a lot with us in the media, or did you receive a.

Speaker 4: Ladies first Colors to be honest with you, everything like just like normal, we were like, okay, we gonna get ready to film very soon. I started buying clothes. I started putting my stuff on hold because you know, I normally get it out of endorsement appearances and modeling gigs. And I was like, Okay, I think we're gonna start getting ready soon. Because it was around the time where we normally start filming, and you know, there was like a shake up also that they were doing, so there was gonna be a shake up with some new girls. A couple of the girls there were like girls that I'm close to some of some of them are my friends. I was coming in like a nice group of fun, amazing group of fun girls. So I was super excited that the viewers gonna get to see a different side of me. You know, these girls they would have digg in and asked me more questions and get you know. But it just was weird, Like, as I'm in the process of getting ready, I just got a call from the producers and it was like, we have some bad news and you know, they decided to put the show on hold because everything was disclosed, and I was like, what's going on? So of course the first reaction was he started calling the ladies that did you hear the news? Did you hear the news? And of course by the time we'll find out and then everything was out, we saw the posts on very already. I can never pronounce that word, you know, it's a little hard for me to pronounce. And I was like, oh shit, so it is. Even though I heard from the producer, I was still kind of like, oh, maybe you're not or no. But when I saw it in the press, I was like, yeah, this is happening. But you know, I really feel like I don't know, I don't know. I was very bummed out, very very bombed out, because you know, there's so much more of me. I feel like the audience haven't seen and I was really getting geared of this season to really start digging in and like the deeper version of Kiki. So yeah, I'm still bombed, but it is what it is.

Speaker 4: To be honest with you, I'm not sure what happened. It's almost like a guest game, but we can only guess. I'm taking Okay, maybe we're on hold because Jersey been on hold for three years, Babe. They took our time, splot because they were on hold before us. I really don't know. It's like a guessing We're all just guessing. So listen. I just feel like Miami, we deserve to be seen. We have. It's so much happening in Miami right now, and we're not filming. It's so much happening, and it's just I don't know, I don't know. It's a guessing game. We really don't know the real insert because they did have a nice group of new girls coming in and it would have been fired.

Speaker 4: I can't really say how many, but I know one of them is like married to an NFL player. It was another one who's a model, and these are like close friends of mine. These girls wouldn't bring the fun story, and you know, because I feel like in Miami it's like sometimes it's the same story over and over. So it would have been like new fresh blood. So it would have been a great season.

Speaker 4: I normally talk to Julia. I haven't talked to Julia for a couple of weeks. We used to talk more often and now it's a little bit. It's nothing is wrong, It just I guess people are just busy with their lives. And Gerdy no, like I've seen her in a couple of events.

Speaker 3: There's rumors too that one of the reasons why the show was not coming back was that Alexia is back with her ex husband Todd, who filed a lawsuit on the network, and that that was going to be hard to film because of him folllowing the lawsuit.

Speaker 4: Yes, Alexia and Todd are back together. She talked about it. She made it clear that they are back together, and it's all rumors, like you know, like I said, we don't really know the real story why we're on hold, so it's all been rumored. So I can't really speak on that because I don't know the real truth. But yes, they are back together, and they seems like they're living in their happy life. But you know, it's so weird because I'm like, what we're not feeling so much happening with Alexia and Todd. You know, they imagine like they were married, they broke up, went through a divorce, started ditting each other, break up again, and now they just brought the house together. So it's like, you don't see this in any other Housewive shows, you know.

I think when it comes to the Housewives, she's like the face of it, and she's going through something that I think is so interesting, Like you were with like you said, y'all alre together, married, divorce, got back together, broke up, back together, He's sue the network. Speaker 4: To be honest with you, I do feel like that. You know. The more I watched the show and I see the treatment that's some of the some of the Housewive shows get, I'm like, wow, we don't get the same thing, you know, but only the network. No, But as far as I'm concerned, I do get that feeling sometimes. Yeah, yeah, it's unfortunate. But you know, even with my life, you know, since I was a little girl from my stepmom treating me in a certain way, I know how it feels not to be treated, you know. So I do feel like we get treated a little bit differently, you know, like I feel like we don't get as many promotions, you know, we don't really, you know, and these are the stuff that will that will promote the show and make the fans watch. And you know, in Miami, regardless what happened. I feel like we have like an amazing fan base, Like we love our fans. Our fans are like Ride or Die. They're like the Beyonce fan of the Housewife. For us, we have some amazing fans in Miami. So and they tried, they try. The fans are trying, and they're talking.

Speaker 3: Me and Cynthia Bailey on her podcast with Crystal Mencall called Humble Brag, we all talked about like we love Miami, and even Cynthia, she said, Carlos, you're the king of reality television. What were you have done differently? And I said to her, honestly nothing. I think the show to me doesn't need fixing. I said, the show was great, Yes, The only thing I wanted to see was new new cast members.

I was so excited. Carlos. I even bought so many new clothes, and I'm like, okay, it's too late. I can't return. It's thirty days, so I'm stuck with a whole bunch of clothes and stuff. Yeah, but hey, it's Miami. I'll find a ways toward.

And remember when Miami first came back, we were on Peacock, so people are used to watching us on Peacock. So now we went from Peacock to Bravel, which is live. But a lot of people. I feel like most of the Miami fans still watch us on streaming, you understand.

Speaker 4: And also if the show don't get promoted like the show people don't really know about it. So and we try our best, yes, but at the end of the day, it's all about promoting and making sure that people know that Miami is no longer on Peacock, that we are now on Bravo and to watch it live.

So I'm a strong believer in in manifesting, and I'm only thinking positive and staying positive and hoping that yeah, sure will come back, and I have a strong feeling it will come back. Yeah, we'll come back.

Alexia is going through long thing, and then now we have Lisa. I'm like, that's a whole different ball given story, Like why are we going pause? Like even those two stories already is like whoa, what's happening? You know? Yeah? The whole lista thing is just so complicated. It is so messy mm hm. And I find out with everybody, like it's not like I get a heads up or I knew what was going on. It was like whoa. I just saw these under pressed and I remember seeing it. The first person I called was I always tried to call the other ladies to verify or to confirm because somehow they always know before me, because I don't really. So when I saw it on the Persson, I was like, wait a minute, what's happening? So I call Mary. So I was like, persal No, I call Alexei at first, and Alexe I was busy. She said let me call you back cause she couldn't be leaving, and I think Alexi I had to call. We all had to call each other to like, wait, is this what's happening? But you know, me and Lisa, we don't talk every day. You know, if I call her probably with the last person she answered, She answered too, not like I have any issues with Lisa, just that I really feel like we always go back and forth, and she built into her phone. She doesn't, she doesn't. She if she do answer, it's normally after like two three months. So it was shocking. It was shocking. I didn't believe it at first, and then when I was like, what this is for real? I reach out. She did respond it with then like a day or two she said thank you, because I was like, you know, hey, I don't know what's happening, but if you need anything, I'm here. Let me know any advice, you know, not that I'm a criminal, but I can always talk to her friend, you know, to make them feel better. I said, if you need any advice, let me know, and she did respond. But then after that, when she turned herself in, I reach out again and I haven't got it response since. So I don't really know what's going on, but all I know this is messy.

Speaker 4: I just feel like for the past four seasons that I was on the show, it was I just feel like a lot of the time I was not being asked questions for people to get because you know, when you're on the type of shows you people have to ask questions. They have to they have to ask you questions so you can answer, you know, it's like having a conversation with friends. And a lot of the time, I feel like with this group of women, they were not that interesting in asking me a lot, so by them not asking, people still didn't really know certain things about me. And I think with this new group of girls that was coming in and some of them are my friends, it would have been more like, oh, you know, because they know me. You know, they would have been more like, you know, pushing and like asking me questions about what's going on and this and that. Because I really feel like with this group of girls, you know, I love them, but it was a lot like you know, like not like I would show up an example, I'll be like, oh my god, what's going on? How are the kids? And nobody will say my kids are fine, but how are your kids? You know, it takes and I don't know how to say it. It's a give and take type of thing. If you're giving, right, if you're giving, but no one is asking you questions back, that's how you can ask how is your how is your knight? And you said my night was great? But if you don't ask me how my knight was, nobody's gonna know how is my night? You know? So I feel like that that that's something that was missing. And I was hoping that with this new group of girls, like they were gonna be a bit more like because you know, these girls are my friends too, and they would have opened up a little bit and you know, asking questions. I think people would have finked out more about me. You know, I have a lot going on. I have a lot going on, Carlos, and you know, and I think I was ready to just show in the world you know who Kiki Parth is. But it is what it is. And I said, a pause is not the end of the world. I really think sometimes God put things on poses that every routing it's a redirection. So worried, I'm not.
