She was group leader of the Protein Technology Group in the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Genetics, Berlin, Germany (1996-2003) She co-founded a biotechnology company, Protagen AG (www.protagen.de) in Dortmund to commercialize this technology. She's also a Professor of Translational Science at the UCD School of Medicine and Medical Sciences. Dr. Cahill has more than 20 years of expertise in high-throughput protein and antibody array testing, proteomics, biomarker discovery, personalised medicine.
