And we will be answering more of your fan questions, so make sure you keep submitting those. We love it. Just go to bachelornation dot com slash Golden Hour and submit away.

Speaker 1: So we want to hear everything from you, your questions, your updates, your comments, all that. It's really easy. You just have to DM us on Instagram at Bachelor Happy Hour. Please do it.

00:00:51
Speaker 2: You got it? Okay, you ready. It's time to get into the episode. We ready, Kathy, We're always ready with the question of the day. Today's question of the day. What does an ideal girls' night out look like for you now versus when you were younger?

00:01:11
Speaker 1: Okay, Susan, I'm feeling silly today.

00:01:13
Speaker 2: What's changed girl?

00:01:16
Speaker 1: Today? I can tell you what's changed when I go out with the girls now. Instead of looking sexy at the bar and you know, waiting for those guys to approach me. I'm pointing, going what do you think of him? What do you think of him? Which one who's gonna go get him? I mean, seriously, girls not out for me now is just getting together with friends, going to a bar, a restaurant, to somebody's home, listening to music, having wine, chit chatting, talking about clothes, you know, vacations.

00:01:44
Speaker 2: The difference for me is now I do a fine restaurant. Before it was just go right to the bar, let's go get to rinks. You know what I mean. Okay, it's about good dining.

00:01:55
Speaker 1: And okay, you know where I'm going with this, Susan, because I've gone out to dinner with you many times. When you go out with a bunch of girls and you go to a fine restaurant or you go to Mickey Dat's, how do you split the bill?

00:02:11
Speaker 2: So usually we just split it evenly. There are times, and there are certain people that I go out with that I know better and I'll either get to check at the end before she starts with the espresso martinis.

00:02:29
Speaker 1: So I thought people would drink.

00:02:31
Speaker 2: More than others, And I like, when I go out with you, you don't eat as much as we eat.

00:02:37
Speaker 1: You instead of eat. So that's why we get along. You are, but it's true. I mean I find that women are more problematic with that's.

00:02:48
Speaker 2: A lot of times. Well, I know people that will refrain, won't want to come because they can't afford it. Or you guys eat like crazy and you drink so much. Some people bar billt or I mean, I've been known to say, keep your tab yourself if you feel like you can't chip in there, or in light they're only having one cocktail. I don't have a problem.

00:03:10
Speaker 1: I don't either. I'll tell you I've gone out with some of my friends. They're few and far between who don't drink. But when I go out for drinks, if I'm going to have a couple of you know whatever, vodka, sodas, whatever I'm going to drink.

00:03:22
Speaker 2: You're the te rainwater, dirt water or something ranch water.

00:03:26
Speaker 1: It's a Texas strange. It's tequila, soda and lime dirt water. Really that looks dirty. It's clear I'm tasted it. People can I tell you good about it? Well? What cause that's because you mean, what is that horrible stuff? Ammeretto? What is it you drink? Ramagnie? Oh?

00:03:47
Speaker 2: Please?

00:03:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's torture anyway. I'm just saying women are different from men, but girls stand outs. I love it. But the other difference is for me, some of my friends are married or have serious boyfriends or a living together whatever, and I'm single. So you know, it feels a little different. Right when you're out with them. I'm trying to make eyes at the handsome guy down at the bar, and you know they're talking about their kids.

00:04:11
Speaker 2: Never try, you know, I'm like oblivious to who's there. But you know what else is different, Kathy. When we plan a girl's night out, it's usually a trip. It's like a week night.

00:04:21
Speaker 1: It's a week night out right, weeks.

00:04:24
Speaker 2: It's like not one night, no, no, no, that's like just a dinner.

00:04:28
Speaker 1: Can I just say, though, you bring up another issue? You know, we are trying to plan another little get together with some of the women on the Golden Bachelor, and can I just tell you it's a nightmare. It's a nightmare. It would be easier to find the proverbial needle in the haystack. In fact, I kind of want to just go to like a farm stick a needle in a haystack and say, hey, ladies, this is what it's like.

00:04:54
Speaker 2: I have an idea.

00:04:56
Speaker 1: Okay, tell me.

00:04:57
Speaker 2: I mean this year we got shot in the foot. We just have to deal with all the chaos. But for the future. Yeah, as a matter of fact, that I believe we tried this. And ladies and gentlemen out there, if you're listening, tell me how you work this. So you go on a girl's trip, I think one person finds the place. This is it. Would you like to join us? This is the amount? These are the dates when too many people are involved. This one don't want this, this one don't want that. There's not enough bathrooms, there's not enough. Well let's try this. Now they're talking a whole New Island enough, so.

00:05:33
Speaker 1: You know what I'm can I just say, I am so on your page is and I am going to send out an email. Hey, this is where we're going, and you want to come. This is what it's going to cost you. We should have done that.

00:05:46
Speaker 2: We should have and I mean you and I booked the place and they had a difference, so we had to cancel it and we lost the place. Although they are finding some decent places.

00:05:54
Speaker 1: But well, let me just say on Girls Week Out, the last thing I'm going to do if none of this fail, If all of this fails, I'm going to book a one bedroom and I'm going by myself, and you're gonna entertain me.

00:06:06
Speaker 2: I hear that. I'll be there, you know that.

00:06:08
Speaker 1: All Right, So, now that we've got Girls' Nights, Girls Weeks, Girls Month.

00:06:14
Speaker 2: Do you not want to hear from people out there? I'm sure there are stories. I mean, has it ruined any relationships of girlfriends trying to plan a trip? I'm sure there's going to be a ton of stories on this one.

00:06:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, let us know again. Just go to Bachelor nation dot com, slash Golden Hour, send us your comments, send us how you do that. We would love to know. Maybe we could learn something here, Susan how to plan the best girls trip? Tail? All right, We're going to get into our fan questions, and I'm going to get started with the first one. We love our fan questions. First one's from Kimmy. She writes, Hi, Kathy and Susan, I love you too, And my own mom and I are estranged, so I'm coming to my podcast moms for some advice. Okay, that's sad. You We're here, sweety, We're here. For you, Kimmy. Okay, hope that's okay, It absolutely is. I've been with my boyfriend for five years now, and we recently moved in together. I'm about to sound so bratty and ungrateful, so please forgive me. But he keeps buying me really expensive designer gifts that I don't like or want and didn't ask for, Susan, could we get Kimmy to send her stuff to us? Can I just interrupt there? Can we get her decided to us? Okay again, I know that sounds bratty, says Kimmy, but now that we are splitting bills and living together, his spending on that kind of stuff impacts both of us, and I really don't need these gifts. So far, I haven't worn any of them or use any of them because they're not really my style. And he's been so sweet, and I've told him I don't need these kind of gifts, but he keeps getting them for me. Whenever I open them, he asks if I love it, and I never know what to say. I've tried communicating to him that I so will appreciate the gesture, but I just prefer spending time with him and would rather spend our money on experiences. It doesn't seem like the messages are getting across, and I don't know what to do or how to act when he gets me more fancy items. Please help. I know this is a quote good problem to have, it certainly is. But if we're gonna get married, like we talk about, I don't want to create bad spending habits. Now, thank you and I love you both, oh boy.

00:08:29
Speaker 2: So first and foremost, you've got to be honest. If you open and say, oh my god, you are so sweet, I love you for thinking of me. However, I don't care for it, and I know you're spending a lot of money. I don't want you to waste money. You got to be It's communication, one of our cardinal rules. Yeah, you've got to be honest.

00:08:51
Speaker 1: Yes you do, my friend. Here's what I would say. I agree with most of what you're saying, which is scary.

00:08:58
Speaker 2: What don't you agree with?

00:09:00
Speaker 1: Don't think she should say she doesn't like them. If it were me, I would have the trajectory of the conversation move towards Hey, we're talking about getting married. Let's set a budget and you know, for gifts for each other. Let's set this amount. So you're not saying I don't like it.

00:09:20
Speaker 2: You're saying, but we need a budget and that.

00:09:23
Speaker 1: But that's them I understand. But that's neither here nor there. If he's at this point, if he is spending I'm making the number up, Kimmy. If he's spending two thousand dollars a month on gifts for you and buys you a gorgeous handbag that you're not using, okay, that's one thing. But if you're talking about getting married, say, hey, boyfriend, let's sit and talk about our budget, and I would like to make a budget for groceries, for food, for entertainment, for gift giving, and then set it for a reasonable amount. So you know what if if he buys you something for two hundred dollars and your budget's four hundred, you know what, put in the closet and regift it later. Don't don't offend him.

00:10:06
Speaker 2: But Betsy, what if what if he has plenty of money and money is not an.

00:10:11
Speaker 1: Issue, but that he's just joyed Susan gifting her Susan. There is always more month than money. Therefore you always have to have a budget. It may look more generous to some people than others. But you know, and if you got that much money, you should be saving and investing. So that's what I would say, Kimmy, have Susan's right, have the honest talk with him. But I wouldn't say I don't like the gifts.

00:10:36
Speaker 2: I would because you're not going to use it, You're not going to wear it, and he's going to wonder why baby, It's just not my style. But you know what, I would buy me somewhere every once in a while, take me with you, let me pick it out, and then I will love it again.

00:10:53
Speaker 1: I think that the I think that's hurting his feelings if he buys you an uglily blouse. My husband used to buy me things that I didn't like. You know, I'd wear it one time, it would go to the back of the closet events I would get on to waste the money. Well, but you know what, it's his money to waste and until you get married. And that's why I said, have the conversation about a budget. Can we let us know and gifts to me, we'll fight over them. You know, you want to get rid of room. We know just where they should go. I want to know does he Hey, Kimmy, where's his father? And does he get good gifts?

00:11:29
Speaker 2: Thank you so much for sharing that with us. But that's a tough problem to have, really, I mean, I mean, yes, you sound brady Jesus. I mean it is what it is. Thank goodness, you found a man that wants to spoil you. You have to look at that side of it as well.

00:11:46
Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. It's it's so many good things there, you know, where the gut.

00:11:53
Speaker 2: You know, we're going to want to save and get the best house you want.

00:11:57
Speaker 1: But I bet that Susan how much you want to bet they have not had a conversation yet. That's about about no, no, no, not about her likes and dislikes, about budgeting. How much are we going to say, how much are we going to invest? How much you're yeah, but that doesn't necessarily include I hate that damn bluse you bought me.

00:12:14
Speaker 2: No, that's not how you approach it either, you know, But yes, I get it, I get it. We wish you a ton of luck les.

00:12:20
Speaker 1: Let us know, and by the way, let us know when you get married. I happen to know a very good wedding efficient. Her name is Susan. I'm sure she would love to come and do your wedding as long as you invite me as well.

00:12:32
Speaker 2: She's my plus one, that's right. The next one is from Marie. Hello, Golden beauties. Oh that sounds nice. I am sixty almost sixty one, and I'm a widow of almost five years, still single. I've not dated anyone in twenty three years, and let's just say there's been no intimacy in five years. I felt invisible and undesirable for a long time now, even though I feel beautiful and I know I am young at heart and have a lot of living to do. Well, I'm glad you said that, Marie. Recently, while on vacation, I met someone who lives in another country quite far from me. Oh you don't say there was an immediate and quite intense attraction that was felt by both of us. I've not felt that in a long time, all caps. He is nineteen years my junior. There was no chance to talk really, since I was leaving the very next day. We are Facebook friends in chat the odd time. He is also in a band. They are touring this summer and will be in my city, and I plan to see them. He knows I'll be there, so lovely is here's my question? Bad if I just laid it all out and let him know I'm interested in a little fun if you catch my drift. No ties, no great love affair, just sex. Women are always looking women are always looked at as cougars, but men do it all the time and people don't blink an eye. Yet, even writing this and asking the question is making me feel like there is something wrong with me, even though I know there isn't. I would so much appreciate your wisdom. Thank you so much for your time. Oh my goodness, that is a no brainer. Girlfriend?

00:14:35
Speaker 1: You do you?

00:14:36
Speaker 2: Do you? First of all?

00:14:40
Speaker 1: I actually think she's a smart woman.

00:14:41
Speaker 2: Yes she is. Well, I was a little taken what they immediately have this attraction and they're Facebook friends and they're chatting. Why not make it a long distance relationship? You just want to do one bang and go when he comes into town? Get it? You could go bang any time any months you've picked.

00:15:04
Speaker 1: I mean, I think there's so much more to unpack here than just having sex, as there usually is in anything. I think. You know, sometimes you meet someone and something comes of it when you meet them long distance. Sometimes it's just, oh my gosh, you're so fun. I had a great time. You hug and kiss and it's nothing, and then you know, you go and see him when he's in town or whatever. Sometimes it's more than that. I think there's nothing wrong in her sa I personally, Uh, Marie, I would not say you want to have sex, but that's not the kind of person I am. Just tell them you want to see him when you have time. I would. I would approach it a little more softly. I would say, hey, when you're in town, would you have time to maybe go to dinner with me? When you said let's have a little band on the road, well, I'm sorry, on the bus before they're in.

00:16:08
Speaker 2: The hotel room, they don't have time to go to dinner.

00:16:13
Speaker 1: You know what it is. You're not going to like my answer. My answer would be spend some time going Maria, going on, starting a website, joining some clubs if you you know, if you just want to get a hook up, there's lots of websites out there in your hometown where you can do that.

00:16:35
Speaker 2: Well, she likes this one. Well she wants to be okay with getting the hook up. Then why couldn't she hook up with the guy that she's attracted to?

00:16:42
Speaker 1: She can, but it seems like a lot of work. You don't work.

00:16:45
Speaker 2: She don't have to do anything. She wants. Her question to us?

00:16:47
Speaker 1: Should she lay it all out there?

00:16:49
Speaker 2: Should she explain it? Do not? He's in a band, he gets it. He does this all the time. Use protection, please.

00:16:59
Speaker 1: You and I are very different than you imagine teen year younger man. Wait a minute, Oh my god, could of course you do? Could you imagine me reaching out to any man ever ever and saying I want to hook I mean, it's just it's foreign to me. But did you see the guy to reach out to me?

00:17:20
Speaker 2: It's been five years since she had any sex, right, she started to feel invisible. But she knows she's good. She knows she's young at heart. She wants to feel alive, and she realizes that she can't do this long distance thing. So he's coming.

00:17:36
Speaker 1: Go for it. I say, go for it, but that go for when you see him. Less is more. If let's go out, let a play out, go to the band, say hey, you want to got a drink? I don't apparently band members you know, come into town, play music? How sex and leave according to you, So I don't know that's how they you realize you're throwing all band members not members.

00:18:00
Speaker 2: I'm not saying, but this is how she's asking me this question. I don't think you need to write the rule book out and explain it to him. He's going to think you're crazy.

00:18:10
Speaker 1: Yeah, And if it were me, Maria, I would spend a little more time trying to develop a life where you are and try to make a relationship a what's what I'm trying to say, A connection? That was a tough word for today.

00:18:26
Speaker 2: If you're trying to make a connection, traction, that's an ex But.

00:18:29
Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you know, if you want to find someone to be attracted to, and you live in Bayone, New Jersey, check out Bayone, you don't have to go to Sicily.

00:18:39
Speaker 2: She doesn't want any ties. This guy's going to fall in love with that. But men do it all the time. Anybody ever say except for Katy, she does say.

00:18:51
Speaker 1: She does say I want a real guy. I don't want a guy who's got a woman in every port.

00:18:56
Speaker 2: I understand what we're talking about. Marie. Well, I'm not just wants to feel alive.

00:19:02
Speaker 1: But do you think that's all she wants.

00:19:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, because she says it right here. I'm interested in a little fun if you catch my drift, No ties, no great love affair, just sex.

00:19:14
Speaker 1: Then Maria interview in every way imaginable and makes up for the last five years.

00:19:24
Speaker 2: There's nothing like an orgasm. Let me know how good he was. Oh my god, Simpson, Kathy, it's life.

00:19:34
Speaker 1: It is life. But I'm just saying to it.

00:19:36
Speaker 2: I don't judge him.

00:19:37
Speaker 1: I'm not judging her to I'm trying to be delicate here because I am a lady of culture and good manners. I am trying to say, you don't have to go to this much effort to have sex. If that's what effort is.

00:19:52
Speaker 2: And he's come to town, there's no effort. Think about it. He's coming in. She knows, he knows, he knows she's going to be They're not interested.

00:20:01
Speaker 1: She spend a lot of time on this whole deal. Go, you know, Okay, there are hook up sites. That's what I would recommend. Go get get a hold up and get him tested first.

00:20:11
Speaker 2: Honey, make sure he wears protection and enjoy yourself.

00:20:15
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well, I love this.

00:20:19
Speaker 2: I love this. You are alive. You are not invisible. You are not dead yet. Let me tell you. Enjoy yourself, but be careful.

00:20:26
Speaker 1: And I hope, and I hope, I hope that she's not disappointed if he just thought he'd never see her again. And it was just a like, hey, sweet babes and nice.

00:20:36
Speaker 2: See that's what she's saying.

00:20:38
Speaker 1: I know, I hope, I hope it comes to more in that he really does not be nice. Wouldn't it be nice? I don't know. And you know what, let's I love it.

00:20:47
Speaker 2: She was real, she was honest, and she was a little embarrassed to ask. But I'm so glad you did. He's so real.

00:20:53
Speaker 1: He's forty.

00:20:54
Speaker 2: I get it. He's ford the math.

00:20:56
Speaker 1: Hey listen, well he's about to be. He's forty or forty one, forty two. Actually, if he's nineteen years.

00:21:02
Speaker 2: Old, he's prime.

00:21:05
Speaker 1: Oh, Susan, can I just say.

00:21:07
Speaker 2: I'm just thinking of how good she's gonna feel.

00:21:11
Speaker 1: Or maybe not?

00:21:13
Speaker 2: I need that too.

00:21:15
Speaker 1: Okay, this is an e what is this? We're not X rated podcast? Here? Jesus, Susan, you want to take a break?

00:21:21
Speaker 2: Here rad it miss very Mary over here, come on, go do it. Marie and you don't have to tell anybody nobody else.

00:21:30
Speaker 1: Let us tell Marie no, absolutely, And you're right, Marie, there's nothing wrong with sleeping with a guy nineteen years younger. I think I think men are way too focused on always dating the younger women. So good for you. I hope, I hope the sex turns into more if you want it to. Nothing worried nineteen years So what garble is good?

00:21:51
Speaker 2: If he could be a dud, Thank you, Harry. I love it.

00:21:57
Speaker 1: So Marie, please please reach out to Susan personally and let her know if this guy was dud, because she's apparently willing to give him lessons, so you know, we could make this good for everybody. All Right, we're bringing on. We're going to play would you rather Susan? Oh boy, we're good, okay, And Susan, would you rather sleep with a guy nineteen years younger or nineteen years older? Okay? I'm that was a joke. I'm going to read the prompts and then we're going to answer not.

00:22:26
Speaker 2: You think years older than I am? Right now, I don't think he's going to be good along?

00:22:33
Speaker 1: Oh lord? Okay, uh, we're going to say what we'd rather did what we would rather do. But it's going to be me saying what I would rather do, you saying what you would rather do, not you telling me what I would rather got it, Susan struggling. Susan on the struggles with that one. All right, here we go. The first one is would you rather date someone who never texts back or someone who never stops texting?

00:22:59
Speaker 2: Who never stops texting? Because if he doesn't answer me, my brain's going to work over time?

00:23:04
Speaker 1: Can I just okay, Kathy? As Kathy's going to give a little commentary hair Susan date someone in particular, and she'll call me and say I haven't heard from him, and I'm like, in how long? Twenty minutes? She's freaking out. I'm like, I don't know, maybe he's in the bathroom just a titch an hour, So you know, for us, yes, I would rather have a guy text. Actually, I'd rather text answers.

00:23:31
Speaker 2: Immediately all the time and then all of a sudden that, Kathy, you do it yourself.

00:23:35
Speaker 1: If I don't answer, that's because you're my friend and I worry about you.

00:23:40
Speaker 2: What would trust me?

00:23:41
Speaker 1: Trust me? I don't want to date you good?

00:23:44
Speaker 2: What would you rather same.

00:23:47
Speaker 1: We agree, We agree, Okay, I'm sorry. I would absolutely. I love attention. I love it when a man texts me or calls me. I got to say though, just before we move on texting For me, like often I'll say, can I call you? If I'm texting with someone?

00:24:03
Speaker 2: Your phone call? Girl?

00:24:04
Speaker 1: Well, because I struggle with you know.

00:24:07
Speaker 2: I think between the lines, and there's.

00:24:09
Speaker 1: So much that is you can't read the emotion on a text.

00:24:14
Speaker 2: You just get so easy to text.

00:24:17
Speaker 1: Well, I do voice text or use your fingers.

00:24:19
Speaker 2: I do voice text. And sometimes they'll call me and say, do you know what you said? I gotten that in proofread.

00:24:26
Speaker 1: But would you rather text or call with your boyfriend? Both?

00:24:31
Speaker 2: I do both?

00:24:32
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:24:33
Speaker 2: I text is easy. It gets a little stuff out of the way. When you do a phone call, it's it's different.

00:24:38
Speaker 1: No, But if you're having a conversation about something, well, I know people who just want to text. I can't.

00:24:45
Speaker 2: I like the morning text and the good night text, and you have a phone call at some point. But yeah, I don't mind texting all right, Moving on, Would you rather catch your partner lying about a small thing every day or one huge, huge lie one time you know.

00:25:03
Speaker 1: This is a tough one for me.

00:25:04
Speaker 2: Questions this is tough.

00:25:06
Speaker 1: Well, it's I'll tell you why it's tough for me.

00:25:08
Speaker 2: There's there's two.

00:25:10
Speaker 1: Things in a relationship that I can't abide. I really can't. One is cheating. Well, actually there's three things that I can't abide. The first one is cheating, the second one is cheating, the third one is lying. I just can't so a little lie of big lie, I don't know. My mind would go if these line to me, you know, I mean if he says like I like fried eggs and he's lying because they want scrambled eggs, Okay, it's no big deal. But what's a small lie? And to me, a small lie sometimes just goes.

00:25:43
Speaker 2: Into bad life. He's going to tell a little fib. I'm not going to trust you as far as I could pick you up and throw you, and one huge one could be the end.

00:25:51
Speaker 1: So that's what I'm saying. Either way, it's not a good thing.

00:25:54
Speaker 2: I don't do liars.

00:26:03
Speaker 1: Wait, I'm gonna put you on the spot here. What are your absolute drop dead I'm done with.

00:26:10
Speaker 2: You lie, cheating and stealing or being ignorant to people. To other people, you mean, rude, disrespectful, disrespect is just.

00:26:22
Speaker 1: You know what, here we go down this route. That's actually a good one too. You know, if I go out with a guy and he's very rude to the surfs, white staff, yeah, that will not be a second day because that tells me a lot. How I need you know? Yeah, okay, all right, here's the next one. Would you rather always be the heartbreaker or always be the heartbroken? It's these always, it's these superlatives always. What about what says for me?

00:26:53
Speaker 2: I rarely am the one that gets their heartbroke. I've always been the heartbreaker. We've talked about this before. Takes me forever. The end the relationships, I always feel bad.

00:27:04
Speaker 1: And Susan, you've improved in recent times. You get no dates such, You've gotten better about breaking those hearts on a really quickly.

00:27:13
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:27:14
Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't like my heart being broken, and I don't want to break someone else's heart. I just wish I had someone's heart.

00:27:21
Speaker 2: Well, if you had to make a choice.

00:27:27
Speaker 1: I can't because it's always I don't deal in some protus. I can't say that. I just can't.

00:27:33
Speaker 2: And she hasn't been out in the world and had to break hearts because she was married since she was twelve.

00:27:38
Speaker 1: No, id, A couple of guys have broken their hearts.

00:27:40
Speaker 2: But okay, I didn't like it, and you're the one that stopped it. You didn't have your heartbroke, so you don't know what it feels like to have your heart broke.

00:27:49
Speaker 1: Trust me, when my husband left this world.

00:27:51
Speaker 2: My heart please, that's totally different.

00:27:54
Speaker 1: Well, I have had my heart broken.

00:27:56
Speaker 2: And that's the only time. Like a boyfriend didn't break up.

00:27:58
Speaker 1: In high school, I did. But I mean, you know, no, not no, not since then?

00:28:04
Speaker 2: Would you rather go on a perfect date with someone who ghost you or a terrible date with someone obsessed with you?

00:28:12
Speaker 1: Oh? No brain, or I'll take the perfect date?

00:28:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, asshole? Ghost me?

00:28:18
Speaker 1: I mean, of course I know you, Susan, and I know me. If I had this perfect romantic date and I thought, oh my gosh, I've met the guy and I've made the connection with him and we can't wait to see each other again, I'd be so excited and then he ghosts me. I would start saying it's a heartbreak, and it would be what did I do? What? You know? What I do wrong? So that would not be what happened? All right? Oh, here's one for you, Susan. Would you rather fall in love on vacation, never see them again, or never fall in love but travel with friends forever?

00:28:56
Speaker 2: Never see them again, or never fall in love but travel with friend I like traveling with my friends forever. If I fell in love on vacation, trust and believe me, I'd see them again.

00:29:09
Speaker 1: Oh can I just say? You can put sixteen bibles in front of me and I can swear to that one. Trust and believe, Susan, Trust and believer. It's happening. It happens regularly with this girl. Now, okay, would.

00:29:26
Speaker 2: You rather find out your ex is dating? Why?

00:29:30
Speaker 1: You're nemesis?

00:29:31
Speaker 2: What?

00:29:32
Speaker 1: Or your favorite? We're skipping that one.

00:29:34
Speaker 2: It's a nemesis, Cathy.

00:29:36
Speaker 1: A nemesis is someone that you really don't like, someone that is against you, someone that doesn't support me.

00:29:42
Speaker 2: You know that.

00:29:44
Speaker 1: Yes, A nemesis is someone you know who would like to bring you down. It's not a good person. A nemesis is never.

00:29:51
Speaker 2: I gathered that, but I didn't know if you were friends? Is that what it meant? But okay, what would you rather find out your ex is dating? Somebody that you don't care, or or your favorite celebrity.

00:30:02
Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, and I'm being deadly serious. I don't care who my ex is dating. He's an ex. Do you care? Would you care? Who cares? Dont knock yourself out? You know what I would say?

00:30:17
Speaker 2: I would like it if he dated the nemesis because I'd be like, if they deserve each other.

00:30:23
Speaker 1: And I would be like if if he broke up with me, I would be like, yeah, he deserves that one. Go ahead, yeah, go ahead, knock yourself out. You'll have a blast. Okay. Would you rather be publicly dumped on social media or accidentally announce your breakup while thinking you're dming a friend? Go for it girl.

00:30:49
Speaker 2: For me, it's easy one.

00:30:51
Speaker 1: I would. I would. I would announce the breakup to a friend. Yeah I don't. I can't. I mean, nobody wants to be social media. That's just I don't know. But I don't know. But I don't want to be dumped. I don't want to be dump period. Listen right there, But I certainly don't want to be dumped on social media. What about you? Which would you take?

00:31:12
Speaker 2: Same?

00:31:13
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, go ahead?

00:31:14
Speaker 2: Would you rather take relationship advice from your drunk best friend? Or you're emotionally distant death?

00:31:23
Speaker 1: Can I answer this?

00:31:24
Speaker 2: Sure?

00:31:27
Speaker 1: I actually believe when people are drunk. I thought this since I was a kid, and they speak of the truth. So if drunk and tells me something, I'm going to I'm going to listen to it because it may be right or wrong, but it's what they really think.

00:31:46
Speaker 2: Anybody that says emotionally distant like forget it.

00:31:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, they're emotional who they don't have any good advice if they're just words? Okay? Would you rather find the one but have them hate your best friend? Or never beat the one? Or never meet the one but have perfect friendships forever?

00:32:08
Speaker 2: No brainer?

00:32:09
Speaker 1: What's you're answer?

00:32:10
Speaker 2: I could find the one and they hate my best friend, will work around it. It's the one, it's the one, and you can still have a relationship with your friend. Yeah, just because they don't get along, that's fine.

00:32:23
Speaker 1: That's in your case. Aren't you lucky you have both? Okay? Would you rather tell your best friend their partner is cheating or stay quiet and risk the friendship? You're not risking the friendship if you If you're risking the friendship by staying quiet. It's not a friendship. What do you say?

00:32:40
Speaker 2: It's true, it's a tough one. There's a time and a place, and it would depend on the situation. But I would probably have to tell my best friend. But I wouldn't be jumping at the gil when it first happened, like I would give it some thought.

00:32:55
Speaker 1: Okay, so she's going through I'm not. But if I were dating, so one would be just let's put it directly to us. Would you call me and tell.

00:33:07
Speaker 2: Me now I'd have to be in your face. Okay, that over the phone.

00:33:12
Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, would you tell me? Because I think you would, yes, and I would tell you, Yes, I would.

00:33:19
Speaker 2: That's what friends do. Would you rather date your best friend's sibling or have your best friend date your sibling.

00:33:26
Speaker 1: I'm gonna do a susan he or both.

00:33:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't matter to each of them.

00:33:32
Speaker 1: Okay. Would you rather find out your bestie doesn't like your partner or your partner doesn't like your bestie?

00:33:39
Speaker 2: That's the same as the other one.

00:33:40
Speaker 1: Who cares?

00:33:42
Speaker 2: I mean, if you had to pick if would you rather find out that your bestie doesn't like your partner or your partner does, So if what would be better? Think about that one? If you didn't like my boyfriend, or if my boyfriend didn't like you, what's easier to cope with?

00:34:04
Speaker 1: For me?

00:34:08
Speaker 2: I would probably say I'd rather have my best be not like my so.

00:34:17
Speaker 1: You would like me. You would rather have me not like your boyfriend.

00:34:20
Speaker 2: Than my boyfriend not like you?

00:34:22
Speaker 1: Really? Yeah?

00:34:23
Speaker 2: I think I don't know.

00:34:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a tough one. Listen. As soon as I get a boyfriend, I would ask you that question again. All right?

00:34:32
Speaker 2: Would you rather be the friend who always gives advice but never follows it or the friend who overshares and disappears when things get bad?

00:34:44
Speaker 1: What what do you think?

00:34:47
Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, I give a lot of good advice and I don't always follow my own advice a men, But I never disappeared the world. I stay true.

00:34:58
Speaker 1: I love Susan. Susan will give great advice and then she'll call me and she's upset about something else. Can you follow my own advice and I'll see remember that advice you gave? Like? What what do you think?

00:35:09
Speaker 2: In there listening to? Well, we talked about therpy, right, I went to therapy. I'm sure everybody has it one time or another. And I realized after about six eight months, they're not giving me answers. I'm hearing myself talk. I know what's wrong. I don't fix it because I don't listen to myself, or.

00:35:27
Speaker 1: Or you don't want to fix it or that whatever, you know. Moving on here? Would you rather, oh, would you rather lose your best friend over a dating disaster or never be able to date anyone they disapprove of? Okay, that's brutal. What I don't want to lose my best friend.

00:35:49
Speaker 2: I'm never losing my best friend. I'm not.

00:35:51
Speaker 1: I'm not losing you.

00:35:52
Speaker 2: Never be able to date anyone? Well, what if they didn't like anybody? No, they can't control.

00:35:57
Speaker 1: That's that's one that we're just you know, if you're if if, first of all, if you and I didn't become friend, are lost our friendship because of the dating disaster, that's ridiculous. I'd come and wring your neck. That's not happening.

00:36:14
Speaker 2: So never be able to date anyone they disapprove of? Well, who I date? It doesn't matter what you think? You know what I mean, it's what it's that's crazy question.

00:36:24
Speaker 1: I agree, I think you know I think a lot of these questions. In my mind, it has to do with respecting your friends or your whoever, your best of your friend, your sister, your whoever. Their decision, their decisions. It is their life to live. It's there you can't control. You can only control your own life, not other people's.

00:36:47
Speaker 2: Your best friend is your best friend. A friendship is a big word.

00:36:53
Speaker 1: Remember that.

00:36:53
Speaker 2: A lot of meaning it does, it does, and a lot of feelings. So yeah, yeah, all right, that was deep.

00:37:02
Speaker 1: That was really deep. I don't know, Susan, let me summarize this, uh, spring in the air, No, let me summarize this whole fans. There's magic in the air. There is dating in the air. You can't date anyone that don't disapprove of. You've got to find me a guy, and apparently you're gonna have sex with him. He lives in Israel, and Susan's gonna travel have sex with a guy if he's in the band. Oh, and if he's in the band, and by the way, he's not having time for dinner. And by the way, it's going to be on the bus and the other guys are sitting there for the bus.

00:37:34
Speaker 2: I was never a groupie? Were you? Why did I even ask my husband? My ex husband was a professional athlete, and the girls, the groupies I guess you'd call them, would line up when we go out to the car, and I'd be like, holy shit, it was like you were a rock star. Athletes get tons of these girls, and they do. I'm sure they want to be with them, but they're willing to do the one night stand thing too. It's crazy.

00:38:03
Speaker 1: Don't say all of them, Listen. I may not have been a groupie. I'm just a old I'm just kind of old fashioned. Like I'm just a nice person that you know, wants, wants the real relationship. I don't want to I don't want to chase guys down in bars whatever.

00:38:19
Speaker 2: But when it comes to was it Marie's case and she's been alone for five years and she really had a physical attraction to this person and he's coming in and leaving?

00:38:33
Speaker 1: Is this the wait, Susan, I got to say something I didn't want to say it. Well, I have to tell something. I've been sleeping with this guy in the band, following him around.

00:38:42
Speaker 2: From very and it's her other eager alter Rea alter you. I can't even get it out.
