This is WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to the WWE podcast show, the one that Everybody wants me. Godet sixteen said, your ass is my arm. You can acknowledge me. Now it's time for the mail bag here and it's Wednesday, December sixth, twenty twenty three. Let's dive into those emails patrons first, as always, and this was from Deanna, and Deanna writes in and she says she just wanted to say, I'm so happy for you that your dream came true and you were able to see Cody, your hero, Cody live. I do want to say your turn Cody heel signon prominent while he was out there. God, I can't stand him. Wow, Deanna, thank you. And I also did get your email. I did see the sign that was perfectly placed between Jay us So and Seth Rollins after their match. I did see that. I did try to get that in as as perfectly as possible, and I think I succeeded. So thank you, Dianna. I really appreciate that. And yeah, my hero, my life is now officially fulfilled. I can say I can die a happy man if I died tomorrow. I'd be good to go because I was able to see Cody Rhodes and he didn't ask. Here. Here's the thing, maybe he granted my wish. Perhaps WWE was listening when they they didn't ask, have Cody come out and ask us, ask all what we want to talk about. We didn't get that, and I know a lot of people were disappointed. I certainly was not one of them. And the fact that he didn't ask us this week is I mean, it's something to be noteworthy because he does more often than not ask what we want to talk about. But thanks Jenna for writing in, Thank you for being a patron, and we'll chat soon. All right, let's talk to Zach. Zach on Patreon says, yesterday I mentioned that Jay Uso should win the Rumble and ultimately end up in a triple threat match. Here's why and how to get there. Why is that no one is expecting Uso to win. It will also catapult him into superstardom. Imagine the Yeat movement waving their hands up and down, going crazy. Talk about a moment. Okay, before we talk about how to get there, he's already I think teetering on superstardom. I mean right now he is bigger arguably than even before the Roman Reigns or after the Romans Roman Reigns match. He has really settled nicely into this babyface role. And after the match this past week with Cody Rhodes that I'm sorry Seth Rollins, that was just pay per view main event worthy, it really solidified him as a main event player truly moving forward. He's no longer just taking the name main event jay Uso. He's living it now, he's proving it, and I would agree that I don't think a lot of people would expect jay Usa to win, but I also don't think he's the favorite right now. Cody Roads is still the overwhelming favorite again La Knights in the mix as well, but he's no longer I think an underdog or a long shot to win. I think jay Uso is in the top five at least in the conversation. So I don't know if no one's expecting him to win anymore, because he has proven it in the Yeat move I'm telling you. When I was in Albany this past week on Monday, the Yeat movement was as hot as anything could be. It got a bigger reaction than Cody or than Seth and if WWE doesn't pay whoever has the rights to the Yeat brand, Yeat movement, we yeat whatever you yeat trademark. They're me missing the mark on this because this is catching on big time. I mean, you think about it. When I was at RAW, I'm thinking to myself, think about all the words, just three simple words that have exploded in WWE over the last fifteen to twenty years. What by with Austin, the Yeah movement, with La Knight, woe with Cody Rhodes, Yeat, now with jay Uso, and you know, I'm sure there's more to come, and there's just so much to look forward to with ja Uso. I have to say, Okay, how to get there? Next Monday an Raw, he hints to announce he's facing Roman Reigns, but before he makes the official announcement, RKO out of nowhere, Betsu so so bad, He's on the shelf for the next two weeks. This allows Orton to claim himself as the number one contender. Priests and Orton build a feud or even a title match, and at the same time, Priests and the Judgment Day continue their attention, USO retains to interrupt the match. USO has a match the next week with Orton on Raw and if Forton wins, he's part of the World Heavyweight Championship match. Priest tries to help USO win to avoid a triple threat, but ends up accidentally helping Orton boom triple threat match for the title. USO wins at Mania, creating a new superstar. Sorry if that was no, it wasn't too long. So here's the thing. Okay, right now jas is a superstar. He's never been world champion, but then again, neither Hiss Cody Rhodes. Although I think championship runs are in both of their their futures, no doubt about it. But I don't think RKO out of know is going to happen to Jay. Now. Randy may eventually get around to Jay and turn on him and turn heel, But right now, Randy Orton is solidly on SmackDown, targeting Jimmy, targeting Solo, and yes, likely targeting Roman for the title at Royal Rumble, no doubt about that. So I think that right now Randy with on the opposite brand targeting different people, that's probably not going to be the case. But I mean, you could get to a triple threat for the title. But in WWE's history, they haven't ever been. There hasn't been a pattern of multi man matches for the top belts. And I'm a big fan, especially at Mania of one on one, but not impossible, Zach again, this Mania season is the most exciting I've seen in so long. And with the possibilities of of course Austin Punk, Rock Roman, I mean, those are possibles. I would say Austin Punk is more likely than Rock Roman, which is insane. You know, you have brock Lesnar probably gonna face Gunther. You don't have John Cena. I don't know who he's going to face coming out of you know, his slumber or his depression, coming back making sure that he has a spot on WrestleMania forty. This is going to be one of the biggest WrestleManias we've ever seen. So all right, let's uh, let's see, let's let's see. Uh. Let's get to Alex the French guy. He says, quick question, how much did you pay for your ticket for Monday net Raw. I'll tell you I have no problem telling you you're asking because for comparison because we don't have access to the tickets for backlash in France. Okay, so here's the thing. I'll tell you how much I paid, but also you have to translate to your currency to the Euro, right, so I'll give you US dollars. And also you need to think about this. Your ple e or any pl e you go to, is going to be more expensive than a Monday night raw or a SmackDown, so you're really not still comparing apples to apples. However, I'll give you the price. So I actually got a discount because what I did was get a fifty dollars discount on my ticket. Because I did this. PayPal had this offer where if I purchased with their credit card, opened the credit card, and purchase with a credit card, they would take fifty bucks off my ticket. And the original ticket price was I think one hundred and one hundred and twenty dollars. So I ended up paying like seventy bucks for my ticket. So that's only because I got a discount. If I didn't have PayPal of price, it would have been like about one hundred and thirty dollars for the seat that I got. Now, if you wanted even the row in front of me, which is row AA, which is means there's no one else in front of you on the lower level, an even more prominent TV position. I think that was like double the price, which is crazy. And then if you wanted floor, it was about two fifty front front row was about six hundred. If you want like front row, ring side for raw but those are almost impossible to get, like row A floor five for US. Row A is nearly impossible to get unless you want it secondhand, and then you're gonna pay like four times that price. So all right, cool, Alex. And if you get back lash tickets, definitely let me know because I'll you know, be looking for you for an in person perspective on that. So we got we got time, though a lot of overseas events coming on the next six months. It's gonna be so much six to twelve months. So all right, let's make sure that that's that here and moving on. Let's continue with our patrons and we'll go to DJ. He says DJ Kuzmo, back at it again under Mailbag show. And yes, it's official that the viper Randy Orton is on SmackDown, which makes sense. He's got unfinished business with the bloodline, and we finally get to see both Roman and Randy confront each other on Romans return other Oh sorry, we both get to see Roman and Randy confront each other on Roman's return to SmackDown on the December fifteenth episode. Oh that's interesting. Okay, so we got another week. Interesting too, is that Aj styles the schedule to return to SmackDown soon as he has unfinished business with the bloodline. And don't forget about La Night, who most likely should get a rematch against Roman. Lots of storylines coming together here on SmackDown. But wait a minute, Seeampunk is coming this Friday and probably a one off and then back to Ron Monday. Brand split or brand split. It's really a great time to be a pro wrestling fan, signing off DJ, Thank you DJ. Yeah, I mean I said this too. It is a very fun time to be a fan. So much going on. I couldn't agree more. Thanks DJ. All right, this is let's see well, I see Shahar, I see your voicemail. Will get to you when we get to the voicemail portion of the show. Let's talk to you another patron, bad Fish. Badfish says first off. I want to shout out Jordan from Nova Scotia. Super dope to hear there are other fans from home that is cool in it. I really had no idea anybody listening from Nova Scotia. So I was listening to La last week's mailbag and got an idea for how Cmpunk and Seth book got booked for Mania. It starts in January, where Punk has a match with Roman at the Royal Rumble. It was announced that Roman has three appearances between December and January, so I'm assuming he's building up a feud in that time. Cmpunk has Roman beat and Seth interferes to help Roman win and turns heal. The best part would be the promo where Seth confronts Punk to explain and he can say, as much as I don't like Roman, I hate you. The beef gets very personal and the build up to Mania would be so entertaining. What are your thoughts to keep up the great work? Well, thanks, Badfish. So what do I think? What do I think? I don't think. First of all, if this happens again, I have no issue with this, guys, there are no bad decisions here, just because it's something that I may not do doesn't mean that it's a bad idea. Okay, Okay, so I wouldn't do this, but I like it because that story needs to be told. There's still Seth in Roman that has yet to be told after all these years, Seth and Roman, Seth Rowins and Roman Reigns has yet to be finished. It's still out there after what ten years, that's still there. Aj Styles in Roman is still there. Punkin Roman is still there. Cody and Roman Part two is there, Cody and Orton is there, Orton and Roman is there. The list goes on, La Night in Roman, La and iight in Seth Rawlins, La and id and probably drew back and tire. Like, guys, this is a maze, like all the pieces are moving around here put into place, but there are It's not like we're looking at this going, oh, well, there's really only one combination left. They got to get to it. No, there's like eighteen different combinations of who hasn't faced who yet, And the pieces on the chessboard can be placed really in any position, and there's no bad choices. So as far as yours goes again, I don't think that'll happen with Punk and Roman at the Rumble because Orton has been clear about his targeting and he already confronted Hayman last week and told him to tell Roman Daddy's back, which means Roman Orton at the Rumble for the title. So Punk and Roman at the Rumble's not gonna happen. From what I understand, Punk and Roman is something that they're going to stretch out for a while and wait on. So it may not be until after WrestleMania, SummerSlam, maybe next year's WrestleMania. They'll get to it, but they know they have that in their back pocket. They've got so many aces in their back pocket. It's like they're playing with four decks. It's just crazy. I have not been this excited about the product in a long time. So, but again, Seth turning heel, I think that's absolutely possible, absolutely possible, especially given that he is probably going to face Punk at WrestleMania, and if Seth and Punk face each other at WrestleMania, the fans are probably gonna choose Punk over Seth Rollins, which means Seth Rollins is probably going to lose his World Heavyweight Championship before WrestleMania because Punk challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship doesn't really make sense right now. I don't think it makes sense any time for in his run to have a championship. I really it doesn't need it, So at WrestleMania it would really make no sense for him to do that. I think probably Drew McIntyre at the Rumble takes the belt and a potential fatal triple threat because from what I understand, Sammy was written off TV, so my idea of a fatal four way that I had on Monday is probably not going to be the case with Sammy's ain't out. It's probably a triple threat mat for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Rumble with Seth Rollins, Jay Usso and Drew McIntyre, and Drew is probably gonna win, that's my guess, which means it takes Seth out of the title picture and allows him to work with Punk heading into the WrestleMania That's my guess. But again, think about all the possibilities. There's just you throw Jay Uso, who's rocketing right now. He's paralleling I think l A. Knight in terms of support. So all right, cool, where are we going? Let's go to another patron Freeman. He says him, congratulations, you did it. You must be really proud of yourself. But I think wwe listened to you and your criticism on board when you were at the live show. That additional pressure made it so Cody didn't ask what you wanted to talk about. I was curious how you would answer that one. Yeah, I don't know if I would have just bowed. I mean, there's nothing else I could do. You're drowned out by fifth teen thousand other people. I would have just bood heavily. I wanted to get your thoughts on Basler versus Jack's. I know no one was excited for it, but in what universe was this match a good idea? Basler's style and gimmick of submission holds only works if their partners reacting to the submissions. Zoe Stark did an excellent job of fading, but Jacks did her usual of not selling the opponent's moves, making this a bad performance. This has nothing to do with her weight and all about her acting ability. Anyway or anyone no matter their weight, can sell a move, but once again Jack's refuses to sell anything, even passing out now. So okay, I continue to stand by my statements. I don't take them back. I don't regret. I'll triple down on them. About that her weight is a negative, I think it's a net negative overall. There are some positives. She looks different, which is good. She isn't like most girls, as she says, right, but it creates a lot of negative on her body. With if you're overweight, and she is, she just is along with a lot of men on the roster that are you're gonna put unnecessary strain or more strain, I should say on your joints, especially in the profession you're in, than you would if you weren't just just science. But her no selling, I think isn't really on purpose. I think it's that she just can't move as quickly as the other women. Now, you can still sell even if you're a larger person. But think about like the big show. I'm not saying she's the equivalent of the Big Show. My get she's not that big, but big show you could argue didn't sell. Think about that, right, Like I know he's a giant, but on a smaller scale, Nia Jacks's kind of the giant of the women's division, and you can't sell the same way that somebody like a Katana Chance or Zoe starkwould. You're twice their size, three times their size. You're not going to sell the same way. The effect of the moves on. You should be less because you're bigger. That's just the way you present it. So I'm actually gonna side a little bit with Naya on this, believe it or not, only because if you're a larger woman or even a larger man, it doesn't matter what class you're in. If you are the larger, if you if you're the largest person in your division or one of you sell differently. And I think Naya the way she does it does look kind of like a little lazy. It does look like she doesn't she doesn't sell. Now, maybe what would help is if she you're right like she her her emotions on her face improved. You can still sell in a way that makes it look like it's painful, but physically you're not gonna move the same way as the other women, if that makes sense. So I'm actually coming to Naia Jackson's defense a little bit on this, but overall I still find her just justmpletely like not channel changing, but she's just not my cup of tea. That's all. Well, last thing I want to bring up is seeming the lack of variety in the women's division. Most of them had the exact same gimmick of just being the quote baddest, with the only real exception being Chelsea Green. There also seems to be no pure, clean cut baby faces like Cody. Who do you think needs to have a gimmick change that could bring this variety and who should step up into the clean babyface role. It's a good question. You know, the women's division has been kind of put on the backburn and it was so many big returns on the men's side of things, and I mean it just has. And so you look at the women's side of things and you have Becky Lynch and you're waiting for her to challenge wherea Ripley, Ronda Rousey's gone and Cyanara I think that's a positive. Actually, you have Charlotte Flair who's kind of floundering. You have Eo Sky, who is like just really kind of an unimpressive SmackDown women's champion. Sadly, I mean she's not a bad wrestler, her character is just there's not much there to work with. She feels like she's a kind of a belt holder, not a champion. It's just the way they've presented her. But I think Bailey has a real opportunity here. And when you say clean cut, you're talking like a Cody. I'm not a big fan of those clean cut ones. Okay. I think those clean cut babyfaces are not relatable. I think that they present an opportunity for a heel to come in and just completely expose the babyface, meaning they do bad things to the baby face, and the baby face never returns in kind. It's just not realistic, right. They always have to kind of smile through it, or be the bigger man, or be the moral compass of the show like Cody likes to be. I think the days of clean cut, say your prayers, take your vitamins, be a great shucks of a guy or woman are gone. Shades of gray are part of anyone's character. Now, I'm not saying we need to have tweeners where well, I don't know who knows what they are there they could be. You know, there's shades of gray all the time, and as long as you're getting a reaction, that's all that matters. No no, no, no no, that's what w E would say to cop out their inability or ineffectiveness to have a true heeler babyface. My point is babyfaces can have an edge, heels can have sympathy. It's just that those days I think are gone of just successful anyway. I mean, look what Nikki crossed it with her, you know, her superhero gimmick. She was the most clean cut you could have and it was god awful putrid. So I mean it led to like the downfall of her career. But thanks Freeman. All right, so let's see, Fraeman, do you have another one here? Let's see? All right? Just miss something. I just missed something. I wanted to get your thoughts on Bailey that's funny and where she's heading and where they are going to take her I'm sorry, take her back and her old gimmick. I've been watching WWA for six months, so I don't know all the history that's there, but with her current story and hinted breakup from Damage Control, I thought I'd catch up on her journey from what I can gather. As she was super over with her old gimmick, her Raw debut got a massive fan reaction, to the point that I can't see that happening with any other current NXT talent that moves up. Most people seem to attribute her success to Triple H and her decline to babyface as a babyface to Vince mishandling her when she moved to Raw. That being said, do you think that fans would accept her old gimmick back coming back now the Triple H would be managing again, or do you think it would be best to push her in a new direction altogether? And can give you and can you give me insight on what she was like as a babyface? Was she over as all the YT kids make her out to be. I don't know what why T stands for? Or are people just hyping up her arse? Okay, so Bailey, if you want to talk about Cleancot babyfaces, she was that clean cup babyface. I mean it was a success, but it had a shelf life because eventually it became not believable. It became a little bit too much to the stomach. Her Bailey buddies, her side ponytail, her hugging everybody. It got stomach churning, and eventually the crowd got sick of it, and actually they turned on her before she even turned heel and she was over though. Don't get me wrong'd what made it successful in the beginning of her career is that Number One, she was really good in the ring, but she was endearing. She she created that soft spot in your in your heart for her because she was just this lovable character and eventually that got old. It doesn't last because it's just after a while you're like, this is this is too cuddly for me, and I don't think they'll ever go back to that. They shouldn't go back to that. That would not be a character evolution. It would be a a de evolution, a regression, if you will, of her character. You can't go back to that. This Bailey that we have coming out of Damage Control should just be herself, which is not the side ponytail wearing Bailey Buddies of her early career. It should just be her with a babyface, character with an edge, taking down Damage Control, not going back to Bailey Buddies. Please no, but yeah, okay, okay, let's go to James. He said, do you think that Cody and j are still a tag team? No? Right, now they're on separate paths. That journey is over. That journey's over. Now they're completely on separate paths. Thanks James. I mean, they could be a tag team if need be on like a raw main event, but they're not a tag team in the sense that they'll challenge for the tag team championships and win. That experiment was short sweetened and is over. I mean, we're heading into wrestling season, no reason to bring them in together as a tag team. Okay, this is from Gary Rosenberg. He says Roman losing the title. I don't think Punk deserves a shot quite yet, And in my opinion, the only one with the pedigree and history worthy of ending that streak is the legend killer, the viper, Randy Orton. He's getting up there and time is now to give him another Now is the time to give him another title run while he's able. Plus, everyone including Cody himself, thinks Cody taking down Reins as a foregone conclusion, so Orton cutting in line would be what sends Cody over the edge and sets up a long Cody versus Randy story where Cody turns heel and eventually takes the title from Randy. Heal Cody with the title when I'm Sorry with the title would be much easier for me to stomach than his goodie two shoes catastrophe of a character and a follow up Cody is going to black hair an entrance gear while he'll be in us. Yeah, if he dyed his hair black or just let it be it, it's natural color that you know. I agree. So yeah, I think heel Cody is eventually going to happen. But WW is selling a lot of merch with Cody, And just because you and I and some others listening don't like his heel caac or babyface character, the masses would disagree, the money would disagree, the reactions he gets at live events would disagree. So we're the outliers man. It's not gonna happen anytime soon. But also with Randy Orton, he's he's going to actually be a real threat to Roman. But he's not the right guy. Now, he's not the right guy in the sense that he, like Randy, doesn't need it. He's not going to gain anything from it. You know. Any ideal situation would be that the person winning it would gain something massive from beating Roman. What is Randy Orton going to gain from a twenty plus year career that he hasn't already gained. He's already a first ballot Hall of Famer. He is literally a legend. He's on everything you could possibly do in the business. There's nothing left nothing. So while I would take literally anyone to beat Roman, like literally anyone, Randy's not the guy because then the expectation would be Randy being there every week, Randy wrestling on every show, and that's not something that Randy probably wants to do at this point in his career. He doesn't have a ton of mileage left on his body. He's trying to elongate his career by taking only bumps when they matter. It doesn't make sense for him in his career right now. I wouldn't hate it. I think it'd be fine, but also Randy, again, it's age and mileage don't favor Randy to win this match. So all right, thanks Gary, This is let's see Anthony from California. Actually, well, he said, this is not intended for the podcast, but I'll just quickly mention it. You sent me a picture that you said you believe Sammy Zain is just a nose away from being Chris Hemsworth in the Mad Max trailer. Yeah go look up. Yeah, everyone go look up. You're right, Sammy Zain is very close to Chris Hemsworth. That's hilarious. Also, everybody, GTA six, do I dare say more? Yeah? Those of you that know no, but GTA six is coming in twenty twenty five. The first trailer dropped the real one, So twenty twenty five, so a year from now we're still gonna be talking about next year. I mean literally, there are probably only three GTAs left in my life before I die. That's pathetic. It's gonna be what twelve twelve years by the time they release it, since the last one, It's it's unbelievable. Okay, let's continue. Let's talk to Mason. He says, let me talk to you. Sorry I miss last week. I was kind of busy. Spotify wrapped, came out, and this was my top podcast of twenty twenty three, so thanks for that. Wtf is the ruffle shuffle that is the absolute worst part of wrestling? Second, why is our truth yelling at Akira Tazala to keep it PG? I think others have said some worse stuff like Ricochet, Kong, Logan, Paul a Prick. Finally, why did Cody have to get the pin? I hate Cody, all right, sorry, I hate that Cody has to have his hands in every pot. That's all by. Well, thank you, Mason, thank you for making us your twenty twenty three top podcast. We actually had give you a little number here. I think it was a little over one thousand people who had this show as their top podcast. It was like five thousand people or so that had us in their top ten, which is pretty cool, you know, from the perspective of people making this an actual, you know, daily podcast, daily listen. So thank you, Mason. Yeah, the ruffle shuffle, what is that? It's a cure to Zao being comedy, That's what it is. It's it's a cure to Zao being the uh, the comedic relief, the let me up moment? And why was a cur Why was our truth yelling at him to keep it PG because our truth says crazy stuff and our truth is really good at comedy too, and he was It wasn't meant to be serious in the fact that, oh yeah, I know, Logan Paul had said worse stuff anybody. A lot of other people have said worse things, but it was our truth, trying to be serious to a cure when obviously a curat isaul wasn't. It didn't. They didn't say anything that bad. But uh yeah, that's it's just wacky stuff. And as far as Cody having his hands in every pot, I mean, yes, yes, I've been screaming that from the rooftops for weeks. Everything that happens in WWE seemingly has Cody Furod's fingerprints on it. Every move, major move to a different roster has his fingerprints on it. I'm sure somehow he'll be responsible for Cmpung's signing with Raw. You know, he'll he'll like co sign or something with Punk. I mean he'll he'll draft the contract for Punk and help him put in some extra perks with Yeah, who knows. So oh god, thanks Mason. All right, that does it I think for our Yes, it does it does it for our emails. So let's get to the voice smails right now. Hello WD podcast. This is shared on from Evil and tonight Simpank is not going to be and not round or turn, and no one that came back in the will come back to Raw. Well that's a bummer. I'm telling you they're doing something so weird with the punk. I guess they are us the same punk that we need, not the same bank that we want. I mean, we want the CM punk that will be against a w and will I don't know, give strikes to wrestlers in the training area and we'll be arguing with triple age and we'll do controversy and your sampunk. But now they will give you a CM punk, the good one that will come on like to once in two weeks and I will say a few words and will be smiley and will be a little bit like Cody Roads or do promotion and advertisements and telling you, man, that's so weird. It's kind of like, Okay, this is weird, but I'm it's like my dog. So my dog God lately really really tasty food and because of that, she's hungry all the time because she wanted tasty food all the time. But I can't give her this tasty food all the time because then she will be fat. So all the time she's like, I want to tasty food. I want this tasty food, but she can't, so we're giving it just a nineteen morning. This is like we see a punk, we want it every time. We want it so bad, we want it so controversy. But now they will give it to us once in two weeks, and I don't know, we'll carry on. And speaking of what we want more, it's through make a tire as a champion. I'm telling you they have to make it a champion. They have self running. Stop with this stupid song and your stupid face persona. You're not a face anymore. You're just irritating and show often. Ah, I don't like you anymore. And first of all, I would want to talk about semis damn you. Now you need to know that some of the Israeli wrestling community did judical things against him and made complaint and made email complain to WW about Semizen about his supporting a gaza and all of it. And because of that, he delted is tweets that support the Gaza and made a black in an ax and Instagram and maybe just maybe because what we said to WW, they wrote him off with his injury. So yeah, Sammy's say is injured And to that, I say, yeah, okay, w Top podcast, Okay, Matte, this is a shame for me. Bye, sure on good to hear from me if my friend, I hope all is well done there and or over there, depending on where wherever you are, it depends on it's updown, left, right, and it's all right relative. But as far as Sammy's ingoes, it's possible that w heard that. I mean, it sounds like if they got some kickback from people in Israel about the comments that Sammy's ain't made, which again, correct me if I'm wrong, But I think the only thing he said that was questionable was using the word oppressed, right, And that word is thrown around a lot about a lot of different groups, especially here in the United States. Everyone this group suppressed, that group's oppressed, right. No one's truly oppressed, Okay in the United States. I don't care where group you're from. Oppression is not something that is happening here, that's my opinion. But there are groups truly in the world that are oppressed oppression, as I think. Again, it's like when someone says, oh, I have PTSD, It's it's an overused term. However, things going on over there are obviously very serious, and I don't know, Sharon, if there are things that Sammy said outside of possibly linking the word oppression to what's going on over there, which you could, but I guess enlighten me on what he said specifically about supporting Gaza. That is what I be interested in, because just solely using the word oppression doesn't really warrant any kind of action. I mean again, it's just kind of like a word that is thrown around a lot by a lot of groups in the in the world right now. But I mean interested, and maybe I'll google it afterwards. You don't have to directly respond me if you don't want to, but I'm interested to see what specifically he said about Gaza. Now going in reverse, Drew Mcatarra's champion bringing on Baby. He has had a very fun slow but finally it's here turn as a heel. I think he's going to win the championship excuse me at Rumble. Personally, if he's in a championship match at Rumble, he wins it. And as far as seem punk, we're yeah, I am very curious as to what version of him we're gonna get. We've only seen him on the microphone once for five minutes since he returned, and the punk that made it so successful and had what would created the whole summer of punk and in the movement was the fact that he spoke against the man. He was the voice of the voiceless. He was the one speaking for the fans and trying to create change during a time of WWE that was very much kind of a you know, a bit of a lull in the action, if you will. It was kind of the same people in the same positions all the time. John Cena on the top blah blah. So I don't know a version of We're gonna punk, We're gonna get now, because I don't want a soft version of punk. That's not who he is, and I'd be betraying his personality, betraying his character. So I hope it's not him supporting w W. But at the same time, he can't go also back to exactly what he was right, like fighting the man, fighting the machine? What are you fighting now? Who are you fighting? Vince is gone? Like what's your goal to bring change? What kind of change? You know? So he can't go just go back to what he was ten years ago. He can bring elements of that into his promos, but he can't have his mission be I'm here to instigate change. Well why, like, what's wrong? So I'm very curious on what his mission statement is. I agree, But thank you Charon. Good hear from you. Let's continue Donity Podcasts World. This is DJ Couzbo back added again on your mailbag show records. You live on a Wednesday one on another cold, very chilly Wednesday morning, and let's get to your favorite show to come whatever single week on a mailbag and I'm talking about the Vere de Vere de Vere, de Vere de Vere, the verr Mahad Report. Now, the vie Bad Report took place this past Monday, oh by Today raw live from all Body, New Yorker as or as Matt would say, Albany or Albany or Albany, whatever the case may be. It was down in Matt's hometown, that's right, the official head of the w B unofficial podcast, Albany, New York. Matt was representing the podcast on Monday night. And yes, I did see your sign, Matt. I did see the ww podcast just floating around. And now that picture is I guess you could say it's going viral on Twitter. And but hey, before I get care away, I must say you should frame that picture. If you get a chance, Matt, frame that picture. Put that maybe somewhere in your in your living room, put that somewhere in your bedroom, wherever you could put it. Just that picture of the ww podcast sign with of course you see none other than Maine event Jay Uso shaking hands with Seth Ronalds. I was that's a good visual right there. So if you haven't heard about the ww of Official podcast, you have now seen the sign. Subscribe to Patreon and enjoy all the great shows now. And of course let's get to the via Mohammadaport And yet again, yet again, as as what we saw last week, they were in the tag team Tormo match. Yet again they are not on Monday Night Row in a night that had tag team matches of Diy versus a period of Cater and Carter versus s Tiga, Knox and Natalia and of course none other than the Creed Brothers going up against Dirty Dumb and JD Madani in a night that had so many tag team matches. Where were they this year? Nowhere to be frown, not in the backstage, not even in talking to Adda Pierce, Nowhere to be found. I need to see consistency with this tag team if there's any sort of push for them to get into some sort of program in the tag te division on Monday Night Raw. Now what that being said? And before I go in a further rent on this situation, because my guys Afir, Mahad Saga and the modern day Maharaja need to be on Monday Night Raw consistently. Now what that being said. This is your guy, DJ, Cuzmo have a blessed week. Maki To wanted to say, used to my friends stay warm up here in the East Coast and peace. Well, thanks DJ for a little plug there. I'm glad you saw it sign and I did get again, as I said, I got a nice shot perfectly placed of the sign in between Jay and Seth. It is a very nice sign. Maybe I'll I'll frame that and put it above my bed in my room. My wife will love it, you know. Maybe I'll make it her Christmas present and she can unwrap it Christmas morning and see the glee on her face. You know of what I've accomplished. No, but really it is I did. I did somehow luck out on that one. And the thing is, you can tell when the camera's on you and when it's on because the hardcam turns red when you're live. Uh, and it goes off and on and off and on because they're changing camera angles constantly. And I saw it go red and I'm like, all right, I gotta get it up, and I threw the sign up and you know, so here we go. But no, I appreciate that, appreciate the plug. And as far as the indus here goes. Yeah, man, we need consistency. That's the key. And there's no consistency right now with them at all. And if I feel like I've been saying this for like six months that you know, Okay, they're finally gonna do this after you know, after WrestleMania, they'll come in and do something big, okay, Well to do something big in Saudi Arabia, Uh, okay, well in Asia? Nope. Like it's it's like, what what's going on here? I don't I'm not saying they need to win the tag belts. Remember originally they were scheduled to face Kevin Owens and Sammy's Ain for the undispeted tag Belts and then that got completely nixed. What the hell's going on? And again with like you said, with all the tag team wrestling that we had this past week at the three hour Show. You couldn't squeeze them in something. It is very puzzling. They're a really fun team to watch. Genner Mahaal has a perfect role as the manager, as the mouthpiece that can also take a bump. I don't know what's going on, and it's like, are we gonna pull the trigger or are we not? Because they take like two months off at a time, then they suddenly show up talking to Adam Pierce. They might show up on a dark match or on a non Hulu version cut of Raw and have a quick match, and then they're gone for another two months and it's like this same cycle, Like what the hell is going on? I don't know. I really don't know, but there needs to be way more consistency. I couldn't agree more. All right, let's get to another voicemail here from Shahar. I believe first time we're hearing from you. Let's go, hey, Matt, it's hard from Israel. I thought that after all the emails, it would be nice to send a voicemail. By the way, I'm also from Haifaank Sharon, so it is a very small world. I wanted to tell you that you had a great spat on Monday Night Row. Like I immediately noticed the ww podcast sign and it was really cool. A few things I wanted to say about the episode, which overall was great. Isn't it funny that the one time you attend Monday Night Row, Cody doesn't start with so old but in New York? What do you want to talk about? Maybe he knew you were there, so he didn't say it because they got scared. I don't know. I think the main events was great. The ending with Drew was a bit predictable but yet awesome. And for it's a bit frustrating because Becky for the last two weeks appears for a minute or two, but it is what it is, right And one more thing I wanted to say about SmackDown, just like you said on a week in review about the Logan pole segments, the minute he called himself the fastest rising star in WWE history. I was sure that Eli Knight will come out because not only that, he also mentioned like the candidates for the US Championship and Elleen Knight wasn't there, so I was sure that he will come out and say something about he is not on this list and about he calling himself the fastest rising star in w W history. And it's not that Ellen Knight wasn't there that night because he was with I saw him later on go out to save Randy. So it was a bit weird anyway, until next time. Okay. So I really don't know what the odds are of getting two people calling in that are not only from the same country, but the same area overseas, And that's just to me, this is crazy. Both you and Sharon are in the same town. I don't know if it's a town or a city or of Haifa. I'm not sure if what you guys consider that a county or a I'm not sure a region. But now I'm imagining that you don't know Sharon, but that'd be even crazier if you did. But cool, I mean, it's just it blows my mind. But so I'm glad you saw the sign. I was shamelessly promoting my own show and attended the show half because I love wrestling. I want to just enjoy the show. Half of me just being a shameless hack and promoting the show. But you're right, I mean, I think that's exactly why Cody didn't ask Albany in New York what we want to talk about? I mean, there's no other explanation other than I instilled fear into his heart. He knew that if he asked that question, he would have to look me in the eyes in the audience and tremble, tremble with fear that I was going to get up from my seat and charge the ring. So he knew. It's a smart decision on his part, knowing what consequences would result from him asking that question. So there's absolutely no doubt in my mind it's simply because I was there, my presence alone. He saw me on the he saw me purchase the ticket, He saw my name on the list of those who have purchased the ticket that are coming to the arena. He said, oh boy, Matt, he saw my name, and he said, I can't do it. I got to drop this whole what do you want to talk about? Thing? Because he's going to be here and look where he's sitting. He could he could charge me, and I can't do anything. So I think you're right, You're right, You're you're You're absolutely right. I think that that's exactly why, because I can't think of another reason Chahr. So thank you, thank you for uh for letting me know and reminding me the reason why. But Becky Lynch appearing for a minute or two. Becky, as I've said, she has been on this weird journey the last year. She's been I don't want to say irrelevant, but not living up to the numbers on the back of her baseball card, if you know what I mean, Like, we know what she's capable of, we know what she's done, we know what she can do, and she's been on the back burner for so long now. You could look at that as a negative and it seems like you're annoyed by the fact that she's there for a couple of minutes. But also doesn't it make it more exciting when there there is that time for her character to kind of take a rest and take a bit of a back seat, so when she comes back in, she's recharged and it feels a little bit more freend. So there is that if you want to look at the positives. But I'm ready for her to move into a program that actually matters. I mean, sorry, Nijack's program doesn't matter. I would think it's the last pitstop before she gets to Rhea Ripley. That's my assumption. Finally gets to Rha Ripley and La Knight coming out, or we thought he was going to come out once Logan Paul called himself the fastest rising star. I would agree, And it seems like the US title picture with Logan Paul versus La Knight would be a perfect shoe in, and it may be down the line for the US title, and La Knight will probably win if he's not in the major title picture at WrestleMania, which I don't think he will be, but they're just not ready for that. He's still targeting the bloodline. That seems to be his mission right now, and that's fine. It's a higher level than in the US title, but we all know that eventually he's gonna get kicked down as Randy faces Roman at Royal Rumble and La Knight maybe faces Solo Soca, and then after that he moves on and out and goes in so the Rumble probably doesn't win the Rumble, although he'll be a final four I would imagine, and then probably faces maybe, uh, you know, Logan Paul for the US title and wins the US title at WrestleMania. That's my guess. Short term, well, medium range for l a night. Well, thank you, Shahara. I really appreciate you calling in and feel free anytime to uh to give us a give us a ring. All right, I think we only have a couple more here, so let's get to it. He's kind of bom so I wanted to talk about Jay Us and his performance out on Raw will get sets. That was really good. It was a really great match, and he really proves as a main event players. I just set just a T shirt? Is that just a catchphrase? I think he really is the real deal? And also too, what is this ask the difference now? Sin sending much now at this point if he must now with Jay being part of Raw and being by himself compared to Jimmy USO and on the and I'll be honest, over smet them to be and the vent scene is kind of not kind of that it exists, and they try to do sort of with Jay and solo, but isn't working. The people are just so care about Jimmy user right now, they care a lot about Jay. Jay is super over with the crowd, and I guess my main question is that do people would care to even see a Jay versus Jimmy match at rust Mini at this point because it's like it doesn't feel like does it feel that big of a deal now, because it's like people not caring about Jimmy use though it's not about I don't know, because Jay as the character has been more interesting than he's been he has. He has been doing this character thing in a solo run since uh it's twenty twenty, and so we know Jay Moore as a singles wrestler and more than Jimmy because of his injury. So I just wanted to ask the difference that you've probably seen that how like how I've seen with Jay j J Jay against not in between Jimmy towards of their popularity and their way they've been used on television since they broke up and became single stars, and how Jay's been more over and interesting than Jimmy right now. But that's my main question of that. But that's what they shrunk call out that, Kyle, Yeah, great question, great observation. As far as the differences between Jimmy and Jay, I mean, it's it's not light years, but there's quite a distance between the two in terms of where they are and their their solo careers right now. First of all, let me just say Jay, you so, I think has been a more interesting character from the term of the get go over Jay Jimmy. Jay has had kind of this this charisma that you can't help but gravitate to Jimmy. It's not that he doesn't have it, but Jay, let's be honest, exceeds it. And Jay's been very dynamic in his acting. He did it, He over performed and I mean that a good way. With the whole storyline, with the bloodline and Sammy's, he with Sammy's not with Sammy. It was all very well done. I think Jay makes home the Emmy on that one. His facial expressions, everything. Jay was so excelled in that, even more than Jimmy or even Roman. At times, Jay was the guy that you didn't know where he was going to land, and he just didn't a superb job of acting. So that helped. And then he turned babyface after Jimmy screwed Jay at whatever pay per view. It was a few months ago when Roman and Jay face each other for the title. Jimmy screwed him, and I know what you're saying, oh, they forgot about it, it's probably not going to happen. That program is probably going to happen. And I'll tell you how it's going to get reignited at the Royal Rumble. If Jay is in the Rumble, if he's in the Rumble or even in a championship match, I think Jay screws him again, or Jimmy screws Jay, because if Jimmy or Jay's in the Rumble and maybe Jimmy gets eliminated, Jay is going to be eliminated by his brother. Jimmy will find a way to eliminate Jay from the Rumble, whether it's illegally or not, because apparently there's no such thing as an illegal elimination from the Rumble. But that's a whole nother die tribe. I don't want to go on. But perhaps Jimmy screws Jay at the Rumble, in the Rumble match, or if Jay's in a triple threat of sorts for the World Heavyweight Championship, Jimmy once again screws j and then you have them leading a path to WrestleMania where it's Jimmy versus Jay at WrestleMania. That's a very possible path. But yeah, I mean, the difference is right now though you think about where they are, it's not even close. Jimmy, sure he's in the blood Line, but he's the guy that's taking the Pinfalls, He's the guy that's taken the RKO. He's getting his ass kicked every week, you know, and Roman needs henchman like that. But it's kind of a tired role. And by the way, we've got no explanation as to how and why Roman accepted him back into the blood Line. It was just accepted, right. They just glossed over that, And honestly, I don't even care because I'm kind of over the Bloodline story as a whole. It was great, but it's just time to move on, that's all. So Jimmy's just in kind of a stale role right now, but I think that's gonna heat up at the Rumble when he has some kind of altercation with Jay and then they're on a program remain WrestleMania. So all right, Kyle, let's get to our final voicemail. Though, see who it is. Ask the French guy here, you're current European champion. I wanted to address something I've been noticing like ever since, Like I don't know last SmackDown, I don't know if we saw Solo Sica, but that reminded me of something that wins and losses don't matter that much. And what I mean is a good booking whenever you lose the winning and loss, that's what I mean. So many times sometimes you address it, Matt, but look, I struggle to find Solo like a superstar, and I don't believe like I think going into Crown Jewel him beating johnt No hurted him more than it gained him something else because it didn't gain like I don't. I don't find Solo cecoa more attractive than than than four after beating John Cina. Same thing with Austin Thiery at WrestleMania. He was going in hot in WrestleMania and going in going out of WrestleMania a lot a lot colder look Ellen I rescues to him, but he lost to Pray Wyatt, but it puted him over as as a whole. Even Jay Uso, he recently lost to Drew McIntyre, but it didn't matter. He had the opportunity to the World Champion and we didn't consider him not worthy and not capable of winning it. What I mean is whenever it's a loss for a super story doesn't mean it's not a bad thing. What I mean is also that sometimes a loss is better than win for establishment of a superstar more or less like a face, losing is something good. And also to an extent, Couldy Rhodes always winning since he came back for me and for a lot of people on the podcast, especially you Matts it bringing him not super like a good face. A good face is supposed to lose a lot of times and then to win. That's what I meant. That's it, And shout out to you Matt for the sign. Could he turn heel? Or the wa podcast? Bye guys, All right, well Alex the French guy. Good to hear from your friend closing things out here on the show. Yeah, there are there are times where you don't win an a loss. You lose in a loss. But if the goal is to elevate a star and bring somebody up to a different level, it is a fine art to be able to have that person win in a loss. It's not always the case, it's not always executed that way, and honestly, not every loss should be designed that way. I think maybe I should clarify. I'm glad you brought this up. Every loss doesn't need to be a win and a loss. Your goal should be first and foremost, the person that's winning is the person that you would ideally be the one you're focusing on to elevate. If a byproduct of that loss for the other competitor is that they are also elevated, great and sometimes that is also the goal of the match, like a secondary goal is to help elevate the person that's losing, even though they're losing the match. But number one, that doesn't always get executed correctly, and number two, that's not always the goal of a loss. The loss is sometimes just to lose and to bring somebody down, and not in a malicious way, but in a way that you have to have a hierarchy. You have to have a highhierarchy in wrestling. People that you know are at the top, that could beat any heel. People that are kind of in the middle, people are at the more jobber level. Right, That's the way of the world, that's the way of any professional sports in the world. You have a hierarchy you have rankings, you have wins and losses that matter. You have teams that you know could kick other teams's ass. You have individuals in WWE that you know, like Roman Reigns, you think him and a curate to Zawa are on the same level. No, of course, not right, nobody does. Hierarchies are the name of the game when it comes to wrestling. And my point about all this is, though you're right, sometimes the loss isn't always a win and a loss. Sometimes it's just plain old losing and they're trying to to put you down a peg or two to solidify you or whoever in that particular role. But ideally you should, even if you're losing, be able to showcase your ability to wrestle, tell the story in the ring. And that's the best way if I'm going to be scheduled in booked to lose a match is to help my opponent look good, but also, hey, get a little shine myself and show people what I can do. So it is, though, it's a very fine balancing act, and not every winning loss means the same. Not every loss should be a victory, not every victory should be a loss, if that makes sense. And I've completely confused myself and you. I think I will sign myself off. Thank you Alex for your comments. Thank you Cheryl and Shahar.
