<v Speaker 1>Hey, everybody, Welcome to Game Best Morning's presented by diegou <v Speaker 1>Deals with Me Jeff Grub, your host from giant bomb <v Speaker 1>dot com. Thank you for tuning in. In this episode, <v Speaker 1>we're gonna be talking about the price of the Steam <v Speaker 1>Deck until Valve tells us what it is, and more <v Speaker 1>reasons to expect the next gen consoles to have to <v Speaker 1>be even more expensive. <v Speaker 2>Jan I'm tired. <v Speaker 1>It's gonna be a good one because we do have <v Speaker 1>Janetchoa on the show. <v Speaker 2>Jan how are you doing? <v Speaker 3>I'm also tired. I went to a restaurant last night <v Speaker 3>thinking it may have been Hispanic because the name was Bodega. <v Speaker 3>It was Vietnamese. I was very confused. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, listen, I think I think Bodega has been the <v Speaker 1>good kind of culturally appropriated where it's like it belongs <v Speaker 1>to everyone. <v Speaker 3>Now we're all the Bodega. <v Speaker 2>Soey Bodega, Yo yo, soei Bodega. <v Speaker 3>Let's see. <v Speaker 1>I got to the end of episode six and dispatch <v Speaker 1>the snoring Ja, and I was like, I did call <v Speaker 1>the shot a little bit. I'm like, I'm gonna miss <v Speaker 1>this character when he's clearly going to die, because holy shit, <v Speaker 1>I could just tell it's gonna happen, and it hurt. <v Speaker 1>It still hurt quite a bit. I'm dealing with the <v Speaker 1>ramifications of that right now on this show. <v Speaker 3>Well, I'm here to catch you in this tender moment, Grub. <v Speaker 3>I'll just say keep up. <v Speaker 2>Yep, oh boy, oh man, hell yeah. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. I wish Dispatch came out a little bit earlier <v Speaker 3>in the year so it could clean up at the <v Speaker 3>Game Awards, because I definitely think it could and would, <v Speaker 3>specifically in the voice actor category. No shade on anyone <v Speaker 3>from Expedition thirty three fantastic voice cast, rightfully deserving all <v Speaker 3>of the nominations, but I'd like to see other games, <v Speaker 3>other voice actors actors get their shine. <v Speaker 2>Yep, totally. You know. <v Speaker 1>I think it'll clean up at the the real Game <v Speaker 1>Awards here on Giant Bomb. <v Speaker 2>When we do are so we should out for that, everybody. Yep. <v Speaker 1>Okay, you know what, let's just get into the show <v Speaker 1>we got. I got quite a few new stories here, <v Speaker 1>nothing massive, but there's a bunch of them. So let's <v Speaker 1>explain ourselves. We're Giant Bomb Video Game Dophasis. We do <v Speaker 1>our fun stuff here on the internet as independent games media. <v Speaker 1>We're out here on our own, no corporate backers. <v Speaker 2>What do we have? We have you. <v Speaker 1>When you went to giant bomb dot com slash join <v Speaker 1>and became a premium member, you ensured the future of <v Speaker 1>this and the fun stuff we do, the insightful stuff <v Speaker 1>that we do, and creating a home base for you <v Speaker 1>and conversations like these on the internet. So you haven't <v Speaker 1>done that, you want to join that party, go to <v Speaker 1>giant bomb dot com slash join, become a premium member. <v Speaker 1>We really appreciate everyone who has done so. You know, <v Speaker 1>coming out of the bomba Thon, the support was just outstanding. <v Speaker 1>It was through the roof and it made us confident that, like, <v Speaker 1>we're doing the right thing and we're going about things <v Speaker 1>in the right way. <v Speaker 2>Check out Jan's shirt right there. Yeah, there it is. <v Speaker 2>There's the Bombathon the hoodie. <v Speaker 1>You can go get that store dot GiantBomb dot com <v Speaker 1>right now, actually if you want to get hooked up <v Speaker 1>with that. As far as this show goes, most weekdays, <v Speaker 1>I Jeff Grubb will help piece your gaming life back together. <v Speaker 1>That includes breaking news and maybe even some of our <v Speaker 1>own original reporting. For all these topics, I'll get the <v Speaker 1>input of a bona fide expert who will make me <v Speaker 1>look smart. If you're watching live on twitch welcome, you <v Speaker 1>can always listen to the show later on podcast feeds <v Speaker 1>by searching for Game Mess Mornings, or find the RSS <v Speaker 1>feed on gimbomb dot com. You can also catch the <v Speaker 1>show later with chapters and timestamps on YouTube. <v Speaker 2>Hello YouTube. <v Speaker 1>All right, we have a lot to get into, so <v Speaker 1>let's start the Morning Mess with Yeah, that conversation that's <v Speaker 1>been popping off since since last night, Steam machine price. <v Speaker 1>Here's another hint at what it could cost. This is <v Speaker 1>from Eddie McCoo at GameSpot. One of the biggest unknowns <v Speaker 1>about valves Steam machines is how much the cute little <v Speaker 1>six inch cube will cost. Plenty of people have offered <v Speaker 1>their thoughts about what the price may or where the <v Speaker 1>price may land, and now Linus Sebastian of Linus tech <v Speaker 1>Tips has shared what he says Valve told him during <v Speaker 1>a recent meeting on the Wan Show. Linus said he <v Speaker 1>had no idea what the Steam machine price will be, <v Speaker 1>but in speaking to Valve, he came away thinking the <v Speaker 1>system won't be priced similarly to a new console. <v Speaker 2>When I said, and this is a quote from him. <v Speaker 1>I'm disappointed that it isn't going to follow a console <v Speaker 1>pricing model where it's subsidized by the fact that the <v Speaker 1>manufacturer is going to be taking thirty percent of every <v Speaker 1>game sold on it over the lifespan of this thing, <v Speaker 1>because I feel that would be a more meaningful product. <v Speaker 1>They kind of asked what I meant by well, what <v Speaker 1>do you mean by console price? And I said five <v Speaker 1>hundred dollars. Nobody said anything, This is Linus continuing. But <v Speaker 1>the energy of the room wasn't great. Of course, that's <v Speaker 1>not a confirmation on anything. Also, I feel like a <v Speaker 1>lot of these tidbits are it's just reiterating things that <v Speaker 1>we already knew or kind of conversed about. And coming <v Speaker 1>out of the gate, we were hearing this thing was <v Speaker 1>going to be priced more along the lines of a <v Speaker 1>PC than a console. But I think that's beginning to <v Speaker 1>sink in with a lot of people now, Janet, it's like, oh, <v Speaker 1>they're not going to do the five hundred dollars thing. <v Speaker 1>But I think there's still some people like holding out <v Speaker 1>hope that's going to be the case. But as we <v Speaker 1>hear more and more, it's just I've become more and <v Speaker 1>more confident that we're talking six hundred dollars at a minimum, <v Speaker 1>and even then it's going to be tough to pull off. <v Speaker 1>Where do you think this thing is dead on arrival <v Speaker 1>in terms of price, like if it's like over eight hundred, <v Speaker 1>or can they get away with even eight hundred. <v Speaker 3>I don't want to put this out into the universe <v Speaker 3>grub that it could pull off being okay launching it <v Speaker 3>eight hundred, but I honestly think it could. I had <v Speaker 3>a little bit of I actually had a lot of <v Speaker 3>friction with this quote and how it was framed up <v Speaker 3>because Dan and I. Maybe Dan and I had a <v Speaker 3>different day when we spent over at Valve, but. <v Speaker 2>We had similar conversations. <v Speaker 3>Though yeah, yeah, of course we had similar conversations. We <v Speaker 3>left that out of the video just because I didn't <v Speaker 3>feel like it would serve anyone US or Valve. But <v Speaker 3>thinking that this would come out at five hundred, especially <v Speaker 3>when modern consoles now an old Xbox, an old PS <v Speaker 3>five is no longer five hundred dollars, I think it <v Speaker 3>seems very misguided to assume that. And how much was <v Speaker 3>the steam Deck when it initially came out around or. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think they started around four four fifty For <v Speaker 1>the very base model, that's right. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, And if this is supposed to be six times <v Speaker 3>more powerful than a regular Steam deck, I can't imagine <v Speaker 3>how it would make sense for this to be five <v Speaker 3>hundred dollars at launch, even for the five hundred and <v Speaker 3>twelve gig model of the console. So I'm I'm expecting <v Speaker 3>between six to eight hundred for the two skews of <v Speaker 3>memory that they're presenting. Any more than eight hundred eight <v Speaker 3>to fifty is absolutely pushing it what I think. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>they could get away with. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think. I mean there's two things happening here. <v Speaker 1>One like, there's you know, when people say console price, <v Speaker 1>they are still anchored to an old price that doesn't <v Speaker 1>exist anymore. <v Speaker 2>You're right, that five hundred dollars, I am. <v Speaker 1>I'm a little surprised to see Linus saying that's a <v Speaker 1>console price. <v Speaker 2>It isn't. <v Speaker 1>I mean, the Switch two is out there, it's just <v Speaker 1>under that price, I suppose, but that's not what anyone's <v Speaker 1>talking about. The PlayStation five, the Xbox Series X are <v Speaker 1>more than five hundred dollars now, and then I think <v Speaker 1>it also just shows the challenge that those those companies <v Speaker 1>Microsoft and Sony are gonna face when their next gen <v Speaker 1>systems come out and are more than that, and they're <v Speaker 1>gonna be like people are like, no console's supposed to <v Speaker 1>be no more than five hundred dollars. Well, they're gonna <v Speaker 1>have to deal with that when the time comes. We'll <v Speaker 1>get into that a little bit with the next story. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, So for me, the anchor point for this thing <v Speaker 1>was never around five hundred. It was around it was <v Speaker 1>around six hundred is show, and again that's the bare <v Speaker 1>minimum in my mind. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, so it's. <v Speaker 1>Like like we start piecing together like some of the <v Speaker 1>other factors here, and I think I think Line has <v Speaker 1>brought this up himself, but something we talked about when <v Speaker 1>we first had a conversation, Jan, I think when you <v Speaker 1>came on the show right after, you were able to <v Speaker 1>talk about it, and it's like, hey, when they sell <v Speaker 1>these things, they're probably not going to be able to <v Speaker 1>do the full subsidy thing because if they subsidize the <v Speaker 1>cost of this PC, then it would be in a <v Speaker 1>situation where organizations would be like, there's the cheap office PC. <v Speaker 1>We can get sure it's Linux, but we could install <v Speaker 1>Windows on there if we wanted to. And so we're <v Speaker 1>just gonna get a thousand of those and put them <v Speaker 1>in our offices, and quickly that begins to add up <v Speaker 1>of like, oh, now, basically Valve is paying these companies <v Speaker 1>to put computers in their office that they're never going <v Speaker 1>to purchase games for. So it's like they kind of <v Speaker 1>have to like balance it out and find an equilibrium <v Speaker 1>between like, it can't be too expensive, but we can't <v Speaker 1>actually be subsidizing the cost of this thing, because otherwise <v Speaker 1>we'd have to come up with some solution where it's <v Speaker 1>like you have to sign into Steam and you could <v Speaker 1>buy one system per account, and that seems like a <v Speaker 1>headache as well. <v Speaker 2>So, yeah, there's other things happening here. <v Speaker 3>And the other aspect that line of springs up that <v Speaker 3>it is Valve. It is Steam controlling the store and <v Speaker 3>the interface that is on the Steam machine. I think <v Speaker 3>that is undercutting the fact that TC games on Steam <v Speaker 3>go on sale all the time, versus which you will <v Speaker 3>be paying digitally on consoles. When we did the Dego <v Speaker 3>deal stream yesterday, I was looking at some of the <v Speaker 3>prices of the console exclusive games. Some of those have <v Speaker 3>been out since twenty twenty and have not gone down <v Speaker 3>in price. Yet you look at a game that's available <v Speaker 3>on Steam and games from even this year, maybe even <v Speaker 3>a couple months ago, not dramatically reduced, but are on <v Speaker 3>sale and are much more consumer friendly versus like trying <v Speaker 3>to find anything on like the Xbox Store or the <v Speaker 3>PlayStation store. I mean that's also discounting game pass, but <v Speaker 3>fuck game pass yep. <v Speaker 1>So when this thing does come out, you know, and <v Speaker 1>I think the reason they're not talking about price at <v Speaker 1>all is they don't really know. <v Speaker 2>Of course they have a range. <v Speaker 1>But I think they will be able to like still <v Speaker 1>convince a lot of people that at like six point <v Speaker 1>fifty to seven fifty, this thing's still worth it. And <v Speaker 1>then you know, I think we're here when we're talking <v Speaker 1>about that, we're talking about the five hundred gigabyte storage model. <v Speaker 3>Whatever. <v Speaker 1>You know, they'll they'll put probably a premium price on <v Speaker 1>the two terabyte model because because they can, and the <v Speaker 1>thing's expandable in terms of storage anyho if you want <v Speaker 1>to just do that on your own, So if you <v Speaker 1>want to just pay Valve to do it, they're going <v Speaker 1>to probably. <v Speaker 2>Charge you a little bit extra. I think this thing <v Speaker 2>will work just fine in that price range. <v Speaker 1>It's not like, maybe it's not some revolution for PC <v Speaker 1>gaming if it. <v Speaker 3>Costs that much. <v Speaker 1>But I do think it's like it doesn't hurt the <v Speaker 1>establishment of Steam os as an alternative to Windows, and <v Speaker 1>it's like a good start and as they go forward, <v Speaker 1>they can maybe get a more more aggressive on the <v Speaker 1>pricing in the future, kind of see how things go, <v Speaker 1>see what adoption is like, adjust from there. <v Speaker 2>But the way costs are going for the the components. <v Speaker 1>In these PCs, in all PCs, it's very unlikely that <v Speaker 1>they're going to come out with a super aggressive price. <v Speaker 1>I think people are like, hey, this thing's four fifty, <v Speaker 1>it's lights out. Everything else needs to watch out. This <v Speaker 1>will be like a game changer. It's like that it's <v Speaker 1>just not in the cards, right. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. Based off of also the conversations that Dan and <v Speaker 3>I had at Valve, and this isn't just about the <v Speaker 3>Steam Machine, I'm also talking including the Steam frame and <v Speaker 3>the Steam Controller, I think Valve recognizes that they are <v Speaker 3>kind of in their own lane with this these specific products. <v Speaker 3>And yes, there are other VR helmets out there. Of <v Speaker 3>course there's other There's a million different controllers that you <v Speaker 3>Bluetooth controllers, you can plug into whatever. But I think <v Speaker 3>with how Valve's approach is they're doing this for their platform, <v Speaker 3>and they are doing what they think they themselves need. <v Speaker 3>Now they're starting to see themselves as like a a <v Speaker 3>hardware platform as well. But they I from conversations with them, <v Speaker 3>they do not have these same pressures that the big <v Speaker 3>consoles have on them to constantly iterate or make a <v Speaker 3>new skew every year, like they're not. I don't see <v Speaker 3>Valve getting to the point where they're going to make <v Speaker 3>a Steam Machine pro like the Steam deck O led <v Speaker 3>is an improvement because it's a better screen, because they <v Speaker 3>wanted a better screen. If they wanted the Steam Machine <v Speaker 3>in a couple of years to be taller, and like, <v Speaker 3>you know what, cube not that great for cubes out, <v Speaker 3>Let's get a rectangle stuff like that. So I feel <v Speaker 3>like Valve is not necessarily Yes, they're they're probably stressing <v Speaker 3>out about like the price of everything, but I don't <v Speaker 3>see them thinking about PlayStation and Xbox in the same <v Speaker 3>way that everyone else is kind of framing the conversation. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I had even started thinking about it's like, oh, yeah, well, <v Speaker 1>what does the upgrade path? What does the roadmap look <v Speaker 1>like for future iterations of this. It's because they could <v Speaker 1>in a there is a world where it's like, here's <v Speaker 1>the twenty twenty seven steam Machine, here's the twenty twenty <v Speaker 1>eight Steam Machine. <v Speaker 2>I think you're right that they won't do that, but. <v Speaker 1>That's probably something that they talked about and considered at <v Speaker 1>some point, and it's like, yeah, no, I think there's <v Speaker 1>some value in the stability that Valve is providing by <v Speaker 1>saying we are building these hardware platforms that you can <v Speaker 1>feel good about getting because we are going to support <v Speaker 1>them for a long time, and therefore all these other developers. <v Speaker 2>Are going to begin supporting them. <v Speaker 1>The support for steam Deck gets better all the time <v Speaker 1>from big new releases. <v Speaker 2>Outer Worlds two ran great on there. <v Speaker 1>There's several recent major releases that I was expecting to <v Speaker 1>run like dog shit on the steam Deck that have <v Speaker 1>run really well, and it's it's been surprising, and it's like, <v Speaker 1>oh no, it's just everyone's optimizing for this thing because <v Speaker 1>they see the value in supporting it. Even if it's <v Speaker 1>older and it causes some other headaches, they don't care. <v Speaker 1>They know it's worth it. You know, there is the <v Speaker 1>trump card here. There is the possibility for them to <v Speaker 1>pull out. Yeah, I know, God, we got to get <v Speaker 1>a new word for that. The ace up their sleeve <v Speaker 1>is Half Life three, where it's like maybe they go <v Speaker 1>ahead and they're like, Okay, we'll have this console announcement <v Speaker 1>or this PC announcement hardware stuff. We'll kind of see <v Speaker 1>how people are feeling, will kind of come up with <v Speaker 1>the price idea for the for the hardware. Maybe we'll <v Speaker 1>announce the price, or maybe we'll just announce Half Life three, <v Speaker 1>and so much excitement will happen, and the people who <v Speaker 1>just want to get that for their already existing hardware <v Speaker 1>will do that, and maybe the hype will be so <v Speaker 1>massive that people who were on the fence because of <v Speaker 1>the eventual price of the Steam Machine will be like, well, <v Speaker 1>I don't want to miss out on this massive thing <v Speaker 1>that that is going to shift the industry. I'm going <v Speaker 1>to get the Steam Machine to play Half Life three. <v Speaker 1>Do you think they could like play the card that way? <v Speaker 3>A hundred grub one hundred percent they could. What was <v Speaker 3>the package that they put out on console, the Orange <v Speaker 3>or the Tornebox. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, the Orange Box. <v Speaker 3>This is a new box. Crubh and that box introduced <v Speaker 3>so many people to Team Fortress two, so many people <v Speaker 3>to Portal where I think arguably for some people, Portal <v Speaker 3>in their minds is bigger than Half Life, or at <v Speaker 3>least has a more real estate in their heads. I know, <v Speaker 3>for me personally, I'm more of a Portal fan than <v Speaker 3>I am a Half Life fan. But at this point <v Speaker 3>I want Half Life three just so people like Mikey <v Speaker 3>out there and can just be satisfied, and so we <v Speaker 3>can also stop with the memes. <v Speaker 2>Yeah it's got it, and yeah it could be. <v Speaker 1>The Marino says, the three box could just be Half <v Speaker 1>Life three, Portal three, Team Fortress three. <v Speaker 2>Put it all in one box and there you go. <v Speaker 3>Oh, I am not ready for a world where we <v Speaker 3>actually have a Team Fortress three and it's something that's <v Speaker 3>really cool. I spent too much time grub playing Team <v Speaker 3>Fortress two on a shitty MacBook Pro and just dealing <v Speaker 3>with all of like the hardware limitations and adapting to that, <v Speaker 3>or I became too. <v Speaker 1>Yep, yeah, the left left three dead as well. Check <v Speaker 1>keeps saying that would be fantastic. We'll see. I don't <v Speaker 1>feel like we're like getting a pricement eminently from mouth. <v Speaker 2>It feels like something happens early next year. <v Speaker 3>Maybe Yeah, I don't I also don't see them needing <v Speaker 3>to release the price or announcing the price. I should <v Speaker 3>say this year. Also, I feel like there's enough positive <v Speaker 3>energy in the room with people being excited about the <v Speaker 3>Steam frame, the Steam machine, and the Steam Controller. Again, <v Speaker 3>I cannot emphasize enough that I when Dan and I <v Speaker 3>rolled up to that appointment, I just thought, oh, Steam <v Speaker 3>controller cool. And then the more that I've started to <v Speaker 3>marinate on it, and the more I see the internet <v Speaker 3>marinate on it, I think people are super tooper excited <v Speaker 3>about that, almost more than the VR headset. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I think the Xbox's Xbox controller status is the <v Speaker 1>default PC controller. <v Speaker 2>Is in a little bit of jeopardy here. <v Speaker 1>I think that'll be I think that could be replaced <v Speaker 1>by this thing, and that I think I would welcome <v Speaker 1>that because it seems like there's gonna be a lot <v Speaker 1>of extra fun features that I would like every game <v Speaker 1>to sort of like when you go to PC to consider, <v Speaker 1>including the track pads, including the you know, the touch <v Speaker 1>grips and the gyros and all that stuff, which a <v Speaker 1>lot of that stuff is in the Xbox controller. But <v Speaker 1>I think you just as if every Steam controller has <v Speaker 1>these things, and it becomes the number one controller. <v Speaker 2>That'd be great. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's going to happen, but I <v Speaker 1>would welcome it personally, all right. So we don't know <v Speaker 1>the price of the Steam deck, We don't know the <v Speaker 1>price of any of the valve hard where. We do <v Speaker 1>know the reasons why it could be a little bit higher, <v Speaker 1>higher RAM cost, all these other things. Of course, that <v Speaker 1>is also affecting other components in various ways, including a MD. <v Speaker 1>This next headline, am D is powering every next gen console, <v Speaker 1>and its GPUs are about to get even more expensive. <v Speaker 1>This comes from Claire Jackson at Kotaku. Fans of AMD's GPUs, <v Speaker 1>which are typically more effective than those made by Nvidia, <v Speaker 1>might be in for some sticker shock in the near future. <v Speaker 1>Team read is likely to start raising the price of <v Speaker 1>its goods, and unfortunately, there's a chance this will affect <v Speaker 1>more than just your graphics card. As reported by Video Cards, <v Speaker 1>AMD has informed its partners of an impending price hike <v Speaker 1>for its GPUs. Last month, the company reportedly adjusted prices <v Speaker 1>for its corporate partners to reflect changes in the market, <v Speaker 1>though it managed to save retail customers from the shift. <v Speaker 1>This time around, however, retail prices are likely to get <v Speaker 1>hit the culprit. Well, if you've been paying attention to <v Speaker 1>the price fluctuation of computer components, you already know the <v Speaker 1>cost of DRAM components, which provide the memory for computers <v Speaker 1>and other electronics, is going up as the AI industry <v Speaker 1>will stown the earth. And if you're familiar with what <v Speaker 1>goes inside consoles like PS five and Xbox series machines <v Speaker 1>or even the upcoming Steam Machine, then you know the <v Speaker 1>a AMD chips. <v Speaker 3>Power those as well. <v Speaker 1>Retail prices have haven't gone up yet, but the prospect <v Speaker 1>is frustrating and likely. Yeah, so again, let's just go <v Speaker 1>over what's happening with memory costs. AI has created massive <v Speaker 1>demand for a for memory chips and memory components from <v Speaker 1>micron At, Samsung, Samsung and s K Heinez, and those <v Speaker 1>companies are like, okay, these these are the richest bidders, <v Speaker 1>and they are coming to us frequently with massive orders. <v Speaker 1>We are going to serve them first. And AI chips <v Speaker 1>are using high bandwidth memory HBM, which is not going <v Speaker 1>into GPUs. But because these companies are so focused on <v Speaker 1>upgrading the tech for that, they are leaving behind traditional <v Speaker 1>DDR five and DDR four memory and so those components <v Speaker 1>are d d N DDR six stuff that would go <v Speaker 1>into GPUs or go into your the memory slots in <v Speaker 1>your in your motherboard. Uh, they are kind of sustained stagnant, <v Speaker 1>but demand for those is also going up, just not <v Speaker 1>as much and not as cost effective as far as <v Speaker 1>these companies are concerned. So they are not putting their <v Speaker 1>efforts into upgrading their manufacturing processes for these cent for <v Speaker 1>these older memory units. So as the demand goes up, <v Speaker 1>and these companies do not pay attention to that. Obviously, <v Speaker 1>prices have gone up quite a bit, and really they've skyrocketed. <v Speaker 1>You can probably get like a eight gigabytes stick of <v Speaker 1>RAM for thirty bucks a few months ago, and now <v Speaker 1>it's sixty to seventy five dollars for that same exact <v Speaker 1>stick of RAM. That stuff all needs to go into GPUs, <v Speaker 1>and it's not just like the thirty dollars stick of <v Speaker 1>eight gigabytes of RAM. They do need super fast memory, <v Speaker 1>not maybe maybe not high bandwidth memory, although some GPUs <v Speaker 1>have used that before. They need like GDR six and <v Speaker 1>GDR six X and stuff like that, really fast memory. <v Speaker 1>And that stuff was already very expensive, and now it's <v Speaker 1>going to be even more expensive, and that's just like <v Speaker 1>the problem right now. There could be other issues at <v Speaker 1>any moment, and there's been a lot of recent problems <v Speaker 1>with sourcing components that have cost these companies to raise <v Speaker 1>prices or they've used as excuses to raise prices in <v Speaker 1>the recent past. So we were already a point where <v Speaker 1>they were like they were charging more, and now I <v Speaker 1>think they're going to use this as an inflection point <v Speaker 1>to raise prices even higher. This is going to have <v Speaker 1>a knock gone effect for the PlayStation six, the Xbox two, <v Speaker 1>Xbox Series X two or whatever it is, and certainly <v Speaker 1>the Steam Machine. Like we're already at a point where <v Speaker 1>the consoles have gone up in price a bunch of times. <v Speaker 1>Jan should we be bracing for one thousand dollars consoles <v Speaker 1>like four digit console prices? <v Speaker 3>I think at this point, group, I just can't. I <v Speaker 3>just can't justify spending one thousand dollars on a console <v Speaker 3>when at this point I have a powerful PC. And <v Speaker 3>I recognize that we are in a different position than <v Speaker 3>most gamers out there, but I feel like with how <v Speaker 3>technology and how prices are increasing, there has to come <v Speaker 3>a point where the consumer that is primarily playing on <v Speaker 3>consoles just also has to adapt to the market and <v Speaker 3>evolve past just getting the new PlayStation or the new <v Speaker 3>Xbox because it is not consumer friendly. At this point, <v Speaker 3>you were getting nickel and dimed. And yes, I know that. <v Speaker 3>We briefly talked about how video games go on sale <v Speaker 3>on Steam in PC there's so many bundles. Go to <v Speaker 3>deco deals dot com and you can make a list <v Speaker 3>and save yourself some money on games. But also you <v Speaker 3>have to pay an annual fee to play multiplayer games <v Speaker 3>on PlayStation on Xbox I believe still, and you don't <v Speaker 3>have to do that on the PC. God forbid, you <v Speaker 3>have to in a certain game, but maybe it's just <v Speaker 3>an MMO at that point, Greb, you may have to <v Speaker 3>educate me here. Why is it that AMD seems like <v Speaker 3>they have the corner of the market here. Is there <v Speaker 3>not another manufacturer out there that can can kind of <v Speaker 3>like also compete in this space? Not really. So. <v Speaker 1>The thing with AMD is they produce both CPUs and GPUs, <v Speaker 1>so they can in a cost effective way produce APUs <v Speaker 1>that combined combine a GPU and a CPU onto one <v Speaker 1>system on a chip, that is cost effective, it's energy efficient, <v Speaker 1>it's all the stuff the councils really want. Interestingly, Steam <v Speaker 1>Deck or Steam Machine excuse me not going that route. <v Speaker 1>Although they're using AMD, they are using discrete CPUs and GPUs, so. <v Speaker 2>It'll be two different things in there. <v Speaker 1>But it's a PC at its heart, so I guess <v Speaker 1>it's not shocking shocking, but you know, they use the <v Speaker 1>system on a chip from a MD for the Steam Deck, <v Speaker 1>so it's a little bit surprising. In Vidia, you know, <v Speaker 1>they they use like a mobile processes's or that they <v Speaker 1>started making a long time for phones and then tablets <v Speaker 1>and like the little handheld GamePad thing that had a <v Speaker 1>screen on it. They worked on that stuff a long <v Speaker 1>time ago and they've been continuing that pathway and it's <v Speaker 1>that's an ARM based processor, and that's what Switch uses <v Speaker 1>is the ARM based processor from Nvidia. <v Speaker 2>Not really an option for the consoles or the or. <v Speaker 1>The PC yet because that's all x eighty six architecture classic, <v Speaker 1>you know, basically IBM compatible, like the forty four Intel <v Speaker 1>processor has continued all this time, and they're still on <v Speaker 1>that same architecture basically, and they can't abandon it without <v Speaker 1>having a bunch of. <v Speaker 2>Work done, and they're not ready for that yet. <v Speaker 1>So the one other option that could happen in the future, <v Speaker 1>at least for now is in Vidia and Intel did <v Speaker 1>get into bed recently, and it's like, oh, in that situation, <v Speaker 1>you could see Intel providing the CPU, in Nvidia providing <v Speaker 1>the GPU, they begin building systems on a chips together. <v Speaker 1>That's not ready yet though that's something that just happened. <v Speaker 1>We are years away from that being a viable alternative <v Speaker 1>at the high end that these consoles and potential PCs <v Speaker 1>are playing in, you know, against AMD. So yes, AM, <v Speaker 1>d's basically the only game in town for this. So <v Speaker 1>that you know, now, the good news there, or the <v Speaker 1>good news that has been there in the past, is <v Speaker 1>that AMD has felt the price pressure to keep their <v Speaker 1>prices low because their stuff is just not quite as <v Speaker 1>good as Nvidia, and for a while there wasn't quite <v Speaker 1>as good as Intel, although they've been out pacing Intel <v Speaker 1>on CPUs for the last several years. But AMD's traditionally <v Speaker 1>been like, we are not going to be the most <v Speaker 1>expensive thing. We're going to be expensive, but we're not <v Speaker 1>going to be like forty five percent more expensive than <v Speaker 1>you would think, and so they've been able to like <v Speaker 1>build these long term partnerships and say we're going to <v Speaker 1>make it up in volume. We're going to make it <v Speaker 1>up in making chips for this console for the next <v Speaker 1>twenty years, or for the very raceconsules from this company <v Speaker 1>for the next twenty years. And that's enabled them to <v Speaker 1>like not charge an arm and a leg. But now <v Speaker 1>they're just facing pressures they can't get around in terms <v Speaker 1>of like the memory pricing and stuff like that. <v Speaker 3>The other aspect that you brought up about this story, Grub, <v Speaker 3>is the whole AI factor of it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Hey, I know that the giant bomb audience is wide <v Speaker 3>and vast. There the likelihood that there is some type <v Speaker 3>of elected official out there listening to this program. I <v Speaker 3>urge you, I implore you, do not fucking bail AI <v Speaker 3>companies out of this shit. They made this mess, they <v Speaker 3>put us all into it. Do not give them. Do <v Speaker 3>not give them the fucking ladder that they think they deserve. <v Speaker 3>Instead would be your asses if you do that. <v Speaker 1>I hope they realize that, like we already saw it <v Speaker 1>once in two thousand and eight, and everything that's happened <v Speaker 1>since then, the populist movement, every terrible thing that's happened <v Speaker 1>in politics, could be traced back to the bailout and <v Speaker 1>then no one going to jail for manipulating and lying <v Speaker 1>and cheating and doing several legal things that obviously should <v Speaker 1>have cost everyone their freedom that was involved in building <v Speaker 1>up that, you know, the synthetic cdo market. Back then, <v Speaker 1>someone should have gone to jail, No one did, and <v Speaker 1>everyone got bailed out. <v Speaker 2>And if the. <v Speaker 1>Same thing happens this time, which you know, who knows <v Speaker 1>if anyone's done anything illegal, certainly feels like you could <v Speaker 1>probably find someone who has. But if the bailout happens, <v Speaker 1>it'll be it's like the end, like there will be riots, <v Speaker 1>it'll be the end. You can't do this, So yeah, <v Speaker 1>you're absolutely right about that. <v Speaker 3>Hey, you know, I saw mom Donnie was watching aw <v Speaker 3>the Crossover or the Breadcombe Trail. It's very short to <v Speaker 3>go from watching professional wrestling watching Giant Bob. So Mom, Daddy, <v Speaker 3>if you out there, congratulations. <v Speaker 2>Yep, we love you, Bud. <v Speaker 1>Right, let's continue here, and by continue, I mean let's <v Speaker 1>take a break. We're gonna go to our sponsor before <v Speaker 1>we do that, though, if you want to skip out <v Speaker 1>on these, we put out an AD free version of <v Speaker 1>the video show and an AD free version of the <v Speaker 1>audio show that you can get by going to giant <v Speaker 1>bomb dot com slash join. I will only ever pay <v Speaker 3>the manufactured suggested retail price. Stop. <v Speaker 2>You don't have to live this way because now there's. <v Speaker 3>Degou deals the double date. <v Speaker 2>That's right. <v Speaker 1>Deco Deals is the best way to find deals on <v Speaker 1>any major gaming platform or store. <v Speaker 3>I don't want no bunk, out of date coupon code grub. <v Speaker 2>It's nothing like that. <v Speaker 1>Deeko Deals has both the hottest and the freshest deals <v Speaker 1>updated constantly. I don't care what anyone says. <v Speaker 2>It's game. <v Speaker 1>Best Mornings, Shanna chow At Jeff Grub We're back. Uh, <v Speaker 1>next story, Let's get to it. Battlefield six's first month <v Speaker 1>sales were higher than any game since twenty twenty two <v Speaker 1>in the US. This is from Eddie McCoo at GameSpot. <v Speaker 1>Battlefield six launched on October tenth and didn't need much <v Speaker 1>time to become twenty twenty five's best selling game overall <v Speaker 1>in the US based on dollar sales. Sirkana released its <v Speaker 1>latest monthly report today confirming that Battlefield six was October <v Speaker 1>twenty twenty five's number one best selling game, and after <v Speaker 1>just three weeks on sale, became the number one best <v Speaker 1>selling game of twenty twenty five for physical. <v Speaker 2>And digital sales. <v Speaker 1>Battlefield six is also the number one best selling game <v Speaker 1>on Xbox and PC charts for twenty twenty five well <v Speaker 1>ranks number two for twenty twenty five on PlayStation that <v Speaker 1>second only to NBA two K twenty six. EA's new <v Speaker 1>Battlefield game also became the best selling game in the <v Speaker 1>Battlefield franchise history in the US for its first month <v Speaker 1>twenty eighteens. Battlefield one was the previous record holder, and <v Speaker 1>in fact, the first month sales of volume for Battlefield <v Speaker 1>six is surpassed the lifetime sales of Battlefield one. That's <v Speaker 1>that's pretty much stuff there was. Yeah, let's seye. I'll <v Speaker 1>continue here. Outside of the Battlefield franchise, sir Conra confirmed <v Speaker 1>that Battlefold six had the highest one month US and <v Speaker 1>physical full game dollar sales for any game in the <v Speaker 1>past three years. Not since twenty twenty two's Call of <v Speaker 1>Duty Modern Warfare two did any game generate more first <v Speaker 1>month physical and digital full game dollar sales. I think <v Speaker 1>that has to mean because there's no way Modern Warfare <v Speaker 1>or Moderlfair Black Ops six is doing as well or seven, <v Speaker 1>whatever it is. <v Speaker 2>I can't even keep tracking it. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's doing as well as six or those Modern <v Speaker 1>Warfare games. So I think we safely assume Battlefield is <v Speaker 1>selling faster, or at least making more money than Call <v Speaker 1>of Duty this year, So it happened. <v Speaker 3>They did it, Yeah, grub and I think deservedly so. <v Speaker 3>Battlefield six seems to have pleased not just that core <v Speaker 3>Battlefield audience, but the folks that also flock to first <v Speaker 3>person shooters that may have been tired or weary of <v Speaker 3>only ever playing Call of Duty. And then for Black <v Speaker 3>Ops seven to kind of not kind of, but to <v Speaker 3>release in the state that it's in. People that like <v Speaker 3>the genre of games deserve good games, and I'm glad <v Speaker 3>that they have Battlefield six, which feels like it has <v Speaker 3>been years and years in the making and finally like <v Speaker 3>a win for battle the Battlefield franchise after eating dirt <v Speaker 3>for so long. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's like a little bit funny. <v Speaker 1>It's like that this game is doing so well, and <v Speaker 1>yet also I don't think I don't hear anyone really <v Speaker 1>talking about that free to play Batle Royal mode. It <v Speaker 1>kind of came out in art greater seemed to eat <v Speaker 1>every other game's lunch on that. <v Speaker 2>Side of things. Yeah, but hey, this game's making. <v Speaker 1>A ton of money, and I think that they are <v Speaker 1>going to be okay with the core game doing very <v Speaker 1>very like extremely well, and that'll give them some runway <v Speaker 1>to figure out whatever they need to do to juice <v Speaker 1>the numbers for the free to play side of things. <v Speaker 1>There's some other tidbits from mattis Cantel. I'm just going <v Speaker 1>to go through his blue sky here real quick about <v Speaker 1>posting about the October report. Jan there were let's see <v Speaker 1>three six, there were nine games I think here that <v Speaker 1>sold one copy in October. <v Speaker 2>Do you want to hear what they are? <v Speaker 3>One copy? <v Speaker 2>Yes, sad, because this like just to let people know. <v Speaker 1>Sirkana formerly the MPD group, they I believe they're integrated <v Speaker 1>on point of sale systems at retails. That's retailers. That's <v Speaker 1>how they're able to track this these numbers so accurately. <v Speaker 1>You know, they've Digital is a little bit more complicated <v Speaker 1>for them, but for the physical sales, they just know <v Speaker 1>what each store is selling. So let's see here there <v Speaker 1>it was an Xbox three sixty game. One copy was <v Speaker 1>Burnout Paradise Round Paradise sold one copy. One copy of <v Speaker 1>Carnival Games Wild West three D for the three DS <v Speaker 1>sold for help, one copy of Incredibles two, Rise of <v Speaker 1>the Underminer for the game Boy Advance sold in October. <v Speaker 2>Is that's is that the oldest game on this I <v Speaker 2>think it might be. <v Speaker 1>Let's see here PC one copy of Spore sold, one <v Speaker 1>copy of Backyard Baseball for PS two. Oh my god, <v Speaker 1>that might be the oldest. That's crazy. One copy of <v Speaker 1>Hasbro Family Game Night three for the PS three, one <v Speaker 1>copy of Cooking Mama Cookstar for the PS four, and <v Speaker 1>then one copy of ultrabust A Move for the Xbox <v Speaker 1>Series X or maybe that's the Xbox one X. I <v Speaker 1>can't tell anymore, but yeah, there you go. <v Speaker 3>Fun stuff, you know, grub. Sometimes I wonder what would <v Speaker 3>be like to live on the other side of the <v Speaker 3>fence again and not be playing the most up to date, newest, <v Speaker 3>hottest games and just playing at my raisure. I just <v Speaker 3>can't imagine buying The Incredibles too for the game Boy <v Speaker 3>Advance in the year twenty and it's. <v Speaker 2>I want to I always want to know the story. <v Speaker 3>Is it? <v Speaker 1>Like, it's probably not even a retailer that specializes in this, <v Speaker 1>in this stuff, it's probably like old stock that gets <v Speaker 1>moved around to like various like discount stores. <v Speaker 2>Like you find a copy of TJ. <v Speaker 1>Max or something, and it's like, I'm gonna get this <v Speaker 1>game Boy advance game or it's just been sitting in <v Speaker 1>a Sam's. <v Speaker 2>Club for fifty five years. Yeah, fun stuff. <v Speaker 1>Battlefield six was obviously the number one selling game of <v Speaker 1>the month. Pokemon Legends z A without digital sales was <v Speaker 1>number two, so physical only for that, just skew. Just <v Speaker 1>that game goes to YT was number three. NBA two <v Speaker 1>K twenty six was number four. Then it's EA Sports <v Speaker 1>FC twenty six, mad An NFL twenty six. <v Speaker 2>Man the sports games like always, but still. <v Speaker 1>The number seven was the Outer Worlds two and number <v Speaker 1>eight was a little Nightmares three. Outer Worlds two. Of <v Speaker 1>course you can get that on game pass. That's always <v Speaker 1>gonna put it put a dent in the armor there <v Speaker 1>when it tries to sell for its first month. And <v Speaker 1>then we'll finished out the top ten with Digimhind story <v Speaker 1>Time Stranger at number nine and Borderlands four last month's <v Speaker 1>number one, now at number ten and number eleven. Another <v Speaker 1>new game, Ninja Guide in four. So yeah, and that's <v Speaker 1>a game pass game as well. <v Speaker 3>Huh iru. For as big of a year as this <v Speaker 3>has been for releases, I can't believe that I've completely <v Speaker 3>forgotten about Outer Worlds two, battle not Battlefield, Borderlands four <v Speaker 3>and the Ninja Guide in four. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>I know it's a busy year, but for those big games, <v Speaker 3>it is wild that that is just passed me. Yep. <v Speaker 1>It's kind of exactly. I feel the same way. It's <v Speaker 1>like I was gonna make time for those games. I <v Speaker 1>didn't right in that moment, and it's like, well, I'll <v Speaker 1>get back to them, and it's like, no, like five <v Speaker 1>things happened right after there that completely. <v Speaker 2>Pushed those things out of my mind. <v Speaker 3>For the year. <v Speaker 1>Battlefield six, yep, number one game for the year so far. <v Speaker 1>Then it's NBA Monster Hunter Wilds is still at number three. <v Speaker 1>I was previously at number two, Borderlands four at number four, <v Speaker 1>and then EA Sports College Football twenty six at number five, <v Speaker 1>Oblivion Remastered at number six. Man, that game did really, <v Speaker 1>really well, and then called the last Year's Call of <v Speaker 1>Duty Black Ops six is number seven, and Madden then <v Speaker 1>MLB The Show twenty five and Ghost of Yota at <v Speaker 1>number ten. Oh, and that moved up the chart. It <v Speaker 1>was eighteen in the previous month, so it's moving up. <v Speaker 3>That's great to hear for Ghosts of Yota. Yeah, take <v Speaker 3>that online shuts yep. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, of course, of course that game is going to <v Speaker 1>do well. They they just have taken l after l <v Speaker 1>those that those idiots. It's like all the stuff that <v Speaker 1>they've been rallying against has continued to like just really <v Speaker 1>do very well. <v Speaker 3>It is also just like misinformed calculus of a lot <v Speaker 3>of people will come to have and do come to <v Speaker 3>the PlayStation platform as a whole for that triple a <v Speaker 3>single player video game. And that is what Coast of <v Speaker 3>Yote is, That's what Sushima was. And right, people just <v Speaker 3>love Samurai. <v Speaker 1>Yep, you can't and you can't like that stuff is <v Speaker 1>not a diamond dozen like you get those when they <v Speaker 1>come because you're right, there's not a lot of options <v Speaker 1>at that very high end of the. <v Speaker 2>Market as far as hardware goes. <v Speaker 1>Video game hardware spending in October grew thirty six percent <v Speaker 1>compared to a year ago. Obviously, the switch to was <v Speaker 1>the big generator there. It was three hundred and fifty <v Speaker 1>one million dollars for the month. The switch to offset <v Speaker 1>declines across the Switch one, which was down fifty two <v Speaker 1>percent versus a year ago, Xbox Series down thirty. <v Speaker 2>Seven percent compared to a year ago, and. <v Speaker 1>PlayStation five I've down twenty two percent compared to a <v Speaker 1>year ago, Nintendo switched to sold three hundred and twenty <v Speaker 1>eight thousand units in October. <v Speaker 2>Wow, we usually don't get numbers like that. <v Speaker 1>It is sixty eight percent ahead of the sales pace <v Speaker 1>set by the original switch, and is still three percent <v Speaker 1>ahead of the PlayStation four's previous record velocity. Of course, <v Speaker 1>as always worth winning out switch to readily available. The <v Speaker 1>supply has met demand and that's one of the things <v Speaker 1>that's helping it out quite a bit here. But the <v Speaker 1>fact that's continued to stay quite a bit ahead of <v Speaker 1>the PS four shows that people are continuing to show <v Speaker 1>up for it. <v Speaker 2>Let's see here. Oh okay, yeah, well this is worth <v Speaker 2>talking about. <v Speaker 1>October spending on Asus PC portable hardware devices increased by <v Speaker 1>four point eight x compared to a year ago, and <v Speaker 1>it's now thirty percent higher year to date. That would <v Speaker 1>include the Roger Ally Xbox version, So yeah, that probably <v Speaker 1>seems like that really juice the number, and that thing's <v Speaker 1>very expensive, so of course that was going. <v Speaker 2>To have an effect on that. Let's see here. <v Speaker 1>Anything he mentioned some stuff fro Battlefield six, but we <v Speaker 1>talked about that. <v Speaker 2>Let's do this. <v Speaker 1>Pokemon Legends, THEA one ranked second overall during October and <v Speaker 1>was the month's best selling game. It launched this twenty <v Speaker 1>twenty five's best selling physical game year to date, so <v Speaker 1>more people picked up the physical version. <v Speaker 2>Of that than any other game so far this year. <v Speaker 1>Ghost Toyota was October's number three best selling game overall <v Speaker 1>and currently RNKS tenth. <v Speaker 2>We talked about that. <v Speaker 1>Ghost Toyota is third on the PlayStation year to date <v Speaker 1>best Selling Titles chart, behind only NBA two K twenty <v Speaker 1>six and Battlefield six. And then I'll do let's see <v Speaker 1>does he have the thing for accessories? Usually he posts that, <v Speaker 1>but I'm not seeing it here, so we'll skip out <v Speaker 1>on that. All right, Yeah, I switched to seems like <v Speaker 1>it's doing well. A lot of games are popping off <v Speaker 1>at the high end. People are still buying video games <v Speaker 1>jan right, Like I think we look around and it's <v Speaker 1>been a nightmare for games getting canceled, for studios losing <v Speaker 1>people getting they're getting laid off. We'll talk about some <v Speaker 1>of that later and it's just like yeah, okay, but <v Speaker 1>then we compare that to the spending and it's like <v Speaker 1>people are still there. This is a very very vibrant <v Speaker 1>hobby with a lot of people spending a lot of <v Speaker 1>money on these things. It's like, why just can't we <v Speaker 1>square that circle? Why does it always have to break <v Speaker 1>down somewhere? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think about the quote or a quote and <v Speaker 3>I'm paraphrasing here, and I'm probably paraphrasing someone paraphrasing. But <v Speaker 3>for Xbox to think that their biggest competitor is short <v Speaker 3>form video, I understand. I understand the concern there. But <v Speaker 3>if that is the if that is what you're worrying about, <v Speaker 3>then just make video games, yep. Just then we'll capture <v Speaker 3>people's attention. Like for instance, grub slots and daggers. It <v Speaker 3>just gives that hit of dopamine and that is just <v Speaker 3>me clicking a button, looking at the slot machine to go, <v Speaker 3>and like the numbers. Also, there's the most hottest, the <v Speaker 3>hottest competitive esport right now, q UP that has captured <v Speaker 3>so much of my attention and I don't want to <v Speaker 3>talk about how much I've played of that. <v Speaker 1>Hell yeah, well you're our esports star Jans, so you <v Speaker 1>gotta focus. We gotta let you practice. <v Speaker 2>Of course. <v Speaker 1>Man, Verizon just cut thirteen thousand jobs, thirteen percent of <v Speaker 1>its workforce. So here we are again. Let's let's go <v Speaker 1>fucking again. <v Speaker 3>Uh. <v Speaker 1>Final Fantasy seven remake integrates file size on switch To <v Speaker 1>is making us sweat. This is I believe, the largest <v Speaker 1>game in terms of storage size that will have been <v Speaker 1>released on the switch To so far as Stato down x. <v Speaker 1>The file size for the standard edition will be ninety <v Speaker 1>to ninety five gigabytes. Meanwhile, the limited early purchase edition <v Speaker 1>will be ninety three point eight gigabytes to ninety nine gigabytes. <v Speaker 1>A standard switch game, like, if you take everything into consideration, <v Speaker 1>somewhere between twenty five to fifty gigabytes. You know, we're <v Speaker 1>talking about big, full triple A games. That's massive. It's <v Speaker 1>also I think or like forty five percent of the <v Speaker 1>total storage that the switch to have. So oh man, okay, well, <v Speaker 1>I know that's a big game, and I guess some <v Speaker 1>people just be like, well, now it's time to get <v Speaker 1>one of those SD Express cards, right Yeah. <v Speaker 3>At the same time, grub, I think maybe there's a <v Speaker 3>couple things they could optimize or cut out leave out <v Speaker 3>to just make sure the game fits on the cart <v Speaker 3>and it's not gonna fill up a whole SD card <v Speaker 3>that I already have everything on and I don't want <v Speaker 3>to be bothered to buy another one. <v Speaker 1>Grub yep, no, I I got the two hundred and <v Speaker 1>fifty six gigabyte version. I will upgrade eventually. I don't <v Speaker 1>want to upgrade in the first year. Yeah, we'll see. <v Speaker 1>That's that's rough. I'm trying to see some other split. <v Speaker 1>Fiction was seventy three gigabytes. That's pretty that's pretty sizable. <v Speaker 1>Cyberpunk was sixty gigabytes, Yakuzo zero director's cut was fifty <v Speaker 1>four gigabytes. So we've had large games, but almost one <v Speaker 1>hundred gigabytes for one game with Bota Bettasy seven remake, <v Speaker 1>and that's just that's remake's you know. When I was <v Speaker 1>saying that's like, I know it's a big game, I <v Speaker 1>was thinking of Rebirth. So how big is Rebirth going <v Speaker 1>to be when it hits the switch to It's gonna <v Speaker 1>be massive. <v Speaker 3>You're gonna have to switch cards grub. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, okay, if it comes on multiple cards, that would <v Speaker 1>I would love that. That would be fine. Of course <v Speaker 1>you're not gonna do that. They're gonna do a game <v Speaker 1>key card. But just be brave and do something cool <v Speaker 1>for once Square Inox. <v Speaker 3>That would be so sick. Square Nix. You're not listening. <v Speaker 1>But you should, Yeah, you should, you really should be. <v Speaker 1>We can we can help you out if you listen <v Speaker 1>to the show. A lot of your problems would be solved. <v Speaker 3>Hey, hey, nearly a watch. I don't know how it'll <v Speaker 3>help you, but Mabe actually, actually somewhat out there has <v Speaker 3>a final fantasy spirits within Watch. And I've wanted that <v Speaker 3>my whole life. I'm not saying give it to me, <v Speaker 3>but just let me look at it. Give it to them, <v Speaker 3>let me look at it. <v Speaker 1>Nearly half of us kids surveyed want in game currency <v Speaker 1>this Christmas. <v Speaker 2>That's the story. It's forty three percent say that they <v Speaker 2>want digital currency. This is from the ESA. <v Speaker 1>They talk to seven hundred children between ages five and seventeen. <v Speaker 1>This is where we're at, Jane, you know, I get it. <v Speaker 2>I have kids. I know how this happens. <v Speaker 1>It also like made me realize if we wanted to <v Speaker 1>like sort of stop this progression towards these games like <v Speaker 1>Fortnite and Roadblocks becoming platforms, one thing we could do <v Speaker 1>is make it illegal to have an in game currency. <v Speaker 1>If you want to buy something in a game, you <v Speaker 1>have to use the currency we already have called dollars <v Speaker 1>or whatever. Your country uses just direct purchase this. I <v Speaker 1>think that would be I can't see a reason not <v Speaker 1>to do that other than the obfuscation. Excuse me, makes <v Speaker 1>it easier for people in their head to purchase stuff, <v Speaker 1>or they can do the thing where it's like, no, <v Speaker 1>you got to get the in game currency, and this <v Speaker 1>thing costs eight hundred, but we only sell it in <v Speaker 1>packs of a thousand. Oh aren't we stinkers. Oh well, <v Speaker 1>maybe you'll just use that two hundred on something else <v Speaker 1>later and it keeps you in their cycle of like, <v Speaker 1>now I have two hundred. <v Speaker 2>That thing's wily. I guess I'll buy another pack. <v Speaker 1>All that just sounds like dark patterns and manipulation, and <v Speaker 1>I know it's been like floated before. <v Speaker 2>I want I want it real bad. <v Speaker 1>I want that to happen because I am becoming more <v Speaker 1>and more of a scared old man about the future <v Speaker 1>and these games sort of sucking all the air out <v Speaker 1>of the room when everything is just happening inside a <v Speaker 1>fortnite good grub. <v Speaker 3>I had hope, I had faith in these kids, with <v Speaker 3>these kids and the two numbers that they're fixated with. <v Speaker 3>Whatever happened to good old laughing and giggling and saying <v Speaker 3>nice at sixty nine. Now they're just saying six to <v Speaker 3>seven and then they don't even know what it means. <v Speaker 2>It doesn't mean anything. <v Speaker 3>It doesn't mean anything, and just like these fake in <v Speaker 3>game currencies don't mean anything. <v Speaker 2>Go, I mean, please, Emmy. <v Speaker 1>Emmy was saying she wants to change her online name <v Speaker 1>to something like it's blank blank six seven. <v Speaker 2>She wants to add six to seven to the end. <v Speaker 2>So that's uh, that's my life now. Uh, le's keep <v Speaker 2>going here. <v Speaker 1>Ye's ten Proud Nordics launches February twentieth, twenty twenty six <v Speaker 1>in the West. It's no Laceramona Lacermosa of Dana, So <v Speaker 1>I don't know if Dan's going. <v Speaker 2>To be excited. But Proud Nordics, which this has been <v Speaker 2>out in Japan. I was like, didn't that game came out? <v Speaker 1>It was out in Japan. Now it's coming out in <v Speaker 1>the West. This comes from sal Ramano at Kamatsu. Ye's <v Speaker 1>ten Proud Nordics will launch or PlayStation five switch to <v Speaker 1>MPC via Steam on February twentieth, twenty twenty six in <v Speaker 1>the West. Publisher in Is America announced Yeah, so yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's coming. I I've never really played much of a <v Speaker 1>EA's game, but I know people like these and here <v Speaker 1>it is you ever try any of them? <v Speaker 3>Grab It's taking all of my willpower to not say <v Speaker 3>what I want to say anytime someone saying I understand. <v Speaker 3>I know it's a disease, but as a fan of jerrpg's, <v Speaker 3>the E's series is never quite caught my attention. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I kind of want to go back to some <v Speaker 1>of the older ones where they had the bump action <v Speaker 1>gameplay where you attacked things by bumping into them. <v Speaker 2>They don't do that anymore. I just really like the <v Speaker 2>term bump action. <v Speaker 1>That sounds like some Beita bullshit by the community, but <v Speaker 1>apparently that's what they really called it. Yeah, yeez ye'z <v Speaker 1>ten Proud Nordics, out February twentieth. This is an interesting <v Speaker 1>story about like, hey, where did all those those Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Switch to upgrades early and then the life of the <v Speaker 1>Nintendo Switch too? Where'd those come from? Didn't Nintendo do those? <v Speaker 1>Did they spend time doing those themselves? No, Texas based <v Speaker 1>developer hired by Nintendo for Switch Nintendo Switch two games <v Speaker 1>says they were honored to be selected. <v Speaker 2>This comes from Jordan Midler at VGC, Texas based developer. <v Speaker 1>Texas based developer Panic Button has announced that it was <v Speaker 1>selected by Nintendo to develop the Nintendo Switch To updates <v Speaker 1>for several first party Nintendo games. At the launch of <v Speaker 1>the Nintendo Switch To, several Nintendo Switch titles were given <v Speaker 1>updates to improve performance on the new console, which weren't <v Speaker 1>as extensive as the ninten Nintendo Switched To edition upgrades <v Speaker 1>for the likes of Breath of the Wild, Tiers of <v Speaker 1>the Kingdom, and others. Now, speaking on social media, US <v Speaker 1>developer Panic Button has claimed responsibility for four of the games. <v Speaker 1>Panic Button was honored to be selected by Nintendo to <v Speaker 1>help update marquee games from Nintendo Switch from the Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Switch library. <v Speaker 2>A post reads. <v Speaker 1>Accompanied by an image of Super Mario Brothers You Deluxe, <v Speaker 1>Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario three D World, plus Bowser's <v Speaker 1>Fury and Arms. Nintendo asked us to help demonstrate new <v Speaker 1>capabilities of the switch to system while remaining faithful to <v Speaker 1>the original games. Mostly included this story just to like <v Speaker 1>point out, Oh, Nintendo is doing the thing that they <v Speaker 1>said they were going to do, which is reach out <v Speaker 1>to other companies. They haven't traditionally worked with and start <v Speaker 1>building new partnerships to see if they can get more <v Speaker 1>stuff done. This isn't like them necessarily going out and <v Speaker 1>purchasing a studio start making brand new games. But I <v Speaker 1>do think this is a pretty smart way for them <v Speaker 1>to use resources in a way where it's like, we <v Speaker 1>have money, let's pay this studio that we already know <v Speaker 1>is very good at working with our hardware to do <v Speaker 1>that for the switch too, you know, and that's going <v Speaker 1>to pay dividends. Not only did they get all this <v Speaker 1>stuff done and out of the way and Nintendo didn't <v Speaker 1>have to do it themselves, but also they have they <v Speaker 1>very quickly got Panic Button an important studio for Nintendo <v Speaker 1>Switch ports, and now probably Nintendo switched two ports up <v Speaker 1>to speed on the new hardware, so that that company <v Speaker 1>could hit the ground running and begin begin working with <v Speaker 1>like third party companies to get their games on the <v Speaker 1>switch to So I just I think this is a <v Speaker 1>pretty interesting move. We should expect Nintindo to do more <v Speaker 1>of this, right, they feel like they're opening up to <v Speaker 1>the possibility of working with more companies in a real way. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think we saw the original inclinations of this <v Speaker 3>with gosh, what is the Zelda rhythm ish games blank <v Speaker 3>oh necro Dancer, the crypt of the netrow Dancer high <v Speaker 3>roll something. Yeah. I thought that was very neat and <v Speaker 3>I was kind of. <v Speaker 2>Bumming Anybee did the music shuts out to Danny Bee. <v Speaker 3>I was bummed out when that was kind of the <v Speaker 3>last things we saw of that cadence of Hirol. Thank <v Speaker 3>you everyone, yep. But seeing and hearing that they are <v Speaker 3>working with an external studio to help juice up the <v Speaker 3>performance on the Switch too, sounds cool. It's great. It <v Speaker 3>feels like Nintendo and seeing Nintendo being open to Hollywood again. <v Speaker 3>It feels like Nintendo is that shy kid that is <v Speaker 3>finally coming out of their shell ground. <v Speaker 1>Yeah right, They're like gaining confidence. They're like starting conversations themselves. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, You're like, you know what, maybe I will coat <v Speaker 3>myself in the goat sauce. <v Speaker 1>I think it's just the way everyone has to live, <v Speaker 1>coated with the goat sauce. All Right, we have a <v Speaker 1>lot to get through, so let's keep going here. Fortnit's <v Speaker 1>Tarantino season will be will include a previously unfilmed kill <v Speaker 1>bill short. <v Speaker 2>This is from Jordan Midler at VEGC it's a little confusing. <v Speaker 1>It makes it sound like they filmed something new, but <v Speaker 1>I don't think that's what's happened. An unfilmed scene from <v Speaker 1>the kill Bill series is seemingly being released as part <v Speaker 1>of Fortnite. The lost chapter Yuki's Revenge, will feature as <v Speaker 1>part of the game's next season, which is themed after <v Speaker 1>the kill Bill duology. The news was announced by Kill <v Speaker 1>Bill director Quentin Tarantino and star Uma Thurman at a <v Speaker 1>Fortnite event in Hollywood, California, on Wednesday. The new season <v Speaker 1>of Fortnite will launch on November thirtieth, replacing the current <v Speaker 1>Simpsons themed season. The kill Bill themes on it. It's <v Speaker 1>so funny because Mike loves the Simpsons and he hates <v Speaker 1>kill Bill, so his playtime for that's going. <v Speaker 2>To fall off a cliff. He did unlock Homer, everybody, <v Speaker 2>so good for him. <v Speaker 1>The kill Bill theme season of Fortnite is being released <v Speaker 1>to celebrate kill Bill the Whole Bloody Affair, which is <v Speaker 1>coming to cinemas in December, which combines. <v Speaker 2>The two parts into one movie. <v Speaker 1>Yuki's Revenge likely refers to a lost scene from the <v Speaker 1>original films, which has been previously mentioned by Tarantino in <v Speaker 1>various interviews. The scene would have followed Yuki, who is <v Speaker 1>featured on the poster released on the for the Fortnite mode, <v Speaker 1>hunting down the Bride Uma Thurman, to avenge her sister <v Speaker 1>you Go Go Yubari, who was killed by Thurman's character <v Speaker 1>in the film. The scene was ultimately unfilmed due to <v Speaker 1>pacing issues. According to Tarantino, Fortnite Chapter seven is set <v Speaker 1>to launch in November thirtieth, after the current Simpsons mission. <v Speaker 1>Blah blah blah. They don't say it here, but I <v Speaker 1>think it's not like they filmed something new. Doesn't even <v Speaker 1>sound like they are like using unreal engine to animate <v Speaker 1>this stuff. It sounds like what's happening here is the <v Speaker 1>ideas and the concepts that was going to be in <v Speaker 1>Yuki's Revenge are going to be like the themes and <v Speaker 1>the tasks and the quests that you get as part <v Speaker 1>of this season, like you are going through Yuki's Revenge. <v Speaker 1>I guess I don't know. We'll get more soon, but boy, <v Speaker 1>this is one of the weirdest partnerships Fortnite's ever done. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I while you're reading this whole story, grub him <v Speaker 3>and I saw folks attending this event in Hollywood. I'm <v Speaker 3>just left wondering why. Yeah, like Simpsons is huge, right, <v Speaker 3>Disney wanting to and Disney's in bed with Epic, so <v Speaker 3>it makes sense for them to want to juice that Epic. <v Speaker 3>There was that Disney Parks map on Fortnite that released <v Speaker 3>like a couple of weeks ago, so all that synergy <v Speaker 3>makes sense because there's existing synergy there. This makes me wonder, <v Speaker 3>I don't know, does Quentin Tarantino have kids and his <v Speaker 3>kids play Fortnite? <v Speaker 1>I mean I think, you know, I think what happens <v Speaker 1>here is Quentin Tarantino wants to do the whole bloody <v Speaker 1>affair like that's and so he's making that, and the <v Speaker 1>movie studios behind him are like, okay, great, how do <v Speaker 1>we get the maximum number of people interested in coming <v Speaker 1>to check this out? <v Speaker 2>That games or that movie is relatively old. Now, sure <v Speaker 2>the oldheads will show up for it. <v Speaker 1>How do we let the young guins know and maybe <v Speaker 1>get excited and like begin to recognize kill Bill when <v Speaker 1>they see it on posters that it's something they should <v Speaker 1>be interested in. <v Speaker 2>And then you go pay Epic a lot. <v Speaker 1>Of money basically to advertise your movie I mean, I <v Speaker 1>guess there's a chance that epics like, we want to <v Speaker 1>work with you. <v Speaker 2>We think this is cool and it's like an exchange. <v Speaker 1>But to me, this feels like using the power of <v Speaker 1>Fortnite to introduce something to an audience that otherwise would <v Speaker 1>not care about this thing. <v Speaker 2>I think that's probably what happened. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that being said, I'm probably this is probably another <v Speaker 3>skin pack or season. I'm not going to have the <v Speaker 3>most interesting. But if they ever do Brendan Fraser's Mummy, <v Speaker 3>fuck yeah, I will be their day one. <v Speaker 2>I tried to watch that yesterday. I was like looking <v Speaker 2>for it. Was that streaming anywhere? Everyone? I need to <v Speaker 2>I want to watch The Mummy so bad. I love <v Speaker 2>that movie. I love that whole series. Good stuff. I'll <v Speaker 2>jan fuck it. I'll even watch The Scorpion. <v Speaker 3>Kingoo Hey, that's Race one. It's not terrible. <v Speaker 2>No, this looks really funny, but I like that. All right, <v Speaker 2>let's keep going here. <v Speaker 1>Thirty one developers laid off as Avalanche Liverpool closes following <v Speaker 1>Contraband's cancellation. This is from Jordan Midler at VG see <v Speaker 1>thirty one developers have been laid off from Avalanche Liverpool <v Speaker 1>as the studio confirms it has now closed. Earlier this year, <v Speaker 1>Avalanche Liverpool announced that it had entered a collective consultation <v Speaker 1>process as required by UK law. It has now been <v Speaker 1>announced that the studio has closed and that thirty one <v Speaker 1>employees have been let go. A new statement posted to <v Speaker 1>the firms to the firm's website on November nineteenth reads, <v Speaker 1>as we announced earlier this fall, we initiated a collective <v Speaker 1>consultation process regarding the proposed closure of our Liverpool studio. <v Speaker 1>We can now confirm that this process has concluded that <v Speaker 1>the studio has closed and that we have parted ways <v Speaker 1>with thirty one people. This is the ongoing fallout of <v Speaker 1>Microsoft shifting its focus away from making video games to <v Speaker 1>fuck all, and as part of that process, they canceled <v Speaker 1>a bunch of games, including this Contraband project that they <v Speaker 1>showed off in a brief trailer that had Steely Dan music. <v Speaker 1>So the only people that made any money on this <v Speaker 1>is the band Steely Dan. It's yeah, the story that <v Speaker 1>we keep getting over and over again. Now, these companies <v Speaker 1>were working on a bunch of projects coming out of COVID, <v Speaker 1>they reassessed, they looked around and they're like, oh, we're <v Speaker 1>scared of making games now because we just don't know <v Speaker 1>like how to like break through the noise and so <v Speaker 1>cancel everything that is not a sure bet, and Contraband <v Speaker 1>was pretty far away from that. Certainly, it was like <v Speaker 1>less of a sure bet than something like Perfect Dark, <v Speaker 1>and Perfect Dark got canceled as well. And it's like, <v Speaker 1>in this case, this is a studio that was outside <v Speaker 1>of the confines of Microsoft. So it's not like those <v Speaker 1>people could go work on another project. They just the <v Speaker 1>company had money to do this thing. That funding was <v Speaker 1>cut off and now that they're left to drift in <v Speaker 1>the wind. And it's like I right now playing Sectory <v Speaker 1>Jan That's a cool game from people that used to <v Speaker 1>be at house Mark, And it's like, yeah, if you <v Speaker 1>like house Mark, that is a place where you probably <v Speaker 1>could continue to work. But if you wanted to go <v Speaker 1>do your own thing, you can go make the game <v Speaker 1>that you want to make, put it out on Steam, <v Speaker 1>maybe gets noticed, maybe it does. All right, all that <v Speaker 1>stuff is still true, But for a group of thirty <v Speaker 1>one people, I don't think it's going to be true. <v Speaker 2>For all thirty one of them. <v Speaker 1>Many of them are probably like done working in games, <v Speaker 1>they'll probably go on to other places. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I I grub. I wish more people were able <v Speaker 3>to follow that path of sectory where they are in <v Speaker 3>a stable enough place that they can go off and <v Speaker 3>pursue a passion project or a different project that kind <v Speaker 3>of speaks to them in the moment versus staying at <v Speaker 3>a studio. But unfortunately, you're right, these thirty one employees <v Speaker 3>high likelihood some of them are going to completely leave <v Speaker 3>this industry. And there is so much talent on the <v Speaker 3>developer side, marketing side, pr side that is getting like <v Speaker 3>squeezed out because of all of these acquisitions that will <v Speaker 3>lead to studio's closing. <v Speaker 1>Last story here, real quick PG two or two K <v Speaker 1>twenty five is officially coming to Nintendo switch To. I <v Speaker 1>don't remember if maybe they put some of the PGA <v Speaker 1>games on the switch one. I don't know if they <v Speaker 1>did though, But you know, I think that switch To <v Speaker 1>is proving itself to be a little bit more friendly <v Speaker 1>to third party publishers and they are seeing a little <v Speaker 1>bit more success, and I think I think switch To <v Speaker 1>would be a great place for all of like these <v Speaker 1>sports sim games to release. It's like having those games <v Speaker 1>on the go makes a lot more sense to me, <v Speaker 1>and I hope that this does well so that continues <v Speaker 1>to happen. <v Speaker 2>Maybe we even get NHL from EA. You know. <v Speaker 1>Also worth pointing out, it's like this is coming out <v Speaker 1>kind of late. Aren't they going to have PGA two <v Speaker 1>or twenty six next year? They didn't do one in <v Speaker 1>twenty four, or they didn't do one that was, they <v Speaker 1>didn't do a PGA tour two K twenty four. They <v Speaker 1>had two K twenty three, then two K twenty five, <v Speaker 1>So I bet they're going to skip this next one <v Speaker 1>as well and come back maybe late next year with <v Speaker 1>a two K twenty seven. So in the meantime, people <v Speaker 1>can play this and that's a good game. I've really <v Speaker 1>really enjoyed. But I've been playing it on steam Deck <v Speaker 1>kind of off and on since it came out, and <v Speaker 1>I think it'll be really it'll be well received on <v Speaker 1>switch to as. <v Speaker 2>Long as they get all the performance stuff correct. <v Speaker 1>All right, that does it for the headlines. Let's get <v Speaker 1>to the poll question from yesterday. <v Speaker 4>Jan uh oh, let me go ahead and refresh that here, <v Speaker 4>go over to posts and oh you know what, YouTube <v Speaker 4>get it done here. I'm gonna refresh one more time <v Speaker 4>at Giant Bomb Slash posts. There we go, Okay, are <v Speaker 4>you interested in the Analog three D? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 3>No? <v Speaker 2>And what is that where your options? Yes? I am, <v Speaker 2>I've already purchased it. <v Speaker 1>Twenty four percent also agree with me that they are <v Speaker 1>interested in the Analog three D. Then twenty eight percent <v Speaker 1>say what is that? Which is fair? <v Speaker 2>I get it? And even when you find out what <v Speaker 2>it is, you're like, what's the Nintendo sixty four? I <v Speaker 2>get it? <v Speaker 1>Then forty seven percent said no, I think this is <v Speaker 1>one of those things where it's like, there's enough people <v Speaker 1>who are so interested in it it makes it makes <v Speaker 1>up for the fact that this is not for everybody. <v Speaker 2>Right, it's a niche product, and if you're in that niche, <v Speaker 2>it is something you gotta have. And I pre ordered it, <v Speaker 2>so yeah, that defines me exactly. <v Speaker 1>And when you see more of a jam, do you <v Speaker 1>get is there like any interest in be like, oh, <v Speaker 1>this is the way I'll check out the n sixty <v Speaker 1>four is or is that like? No, I have fifty <v Speaker 1>ways to have checked out the n sixty four. If <v Speaker 1>I haven't done it by now, it would be crazy <v Speaker 1>to spend two hundred and fifty dollars to play those games. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, grab one have the ability to like pick up <v Speaker 3>I don't know a PSP in a drawer somewhere that <v Speaker 3>could run an N sixty four game. I think I'll <v Speaker 3>just go with the novelty of running an N sixty <v Speaker 3>four game on like an old Kindle tablet I got <v Speaker 3>for fun. <v Speaker 2>I uh, yep. <v Speaker 1>But my superstation is also coming the PlayStation sort of <v Speaker 1>version of this from another company. <v Speaker 2>Looking forward to getting that as well. I'm just a <v Speaker 2>sick of though. All Right, we have a new poll question. <v Speaker 1>We'll get to that in a second. You know what <v Speaker 1>on the show, let's actually do that right now. Have <v Speaker 1>you ever purchased in game currency for someone as a gift? <v Speaker 3>Yes or no? <v Speaker 2>Curious to see like what people say about this one. <v Speaker 1>I don't know if I have, although I definitely have, <v Speaker 1>like have pen nieces and nephews in my life where <v Speaker 1>I guess that would have made sense. I'm like, I'll <v Speaker 1>just get you a link between worlds instead. I don't know, <v Speaker 1>So we'll see. We'll get the results of that. Talk <v Speaker 1>about it on Giant Bomb on Game of Mornings tomorrow, <v Speaker 1>speaking a Giant Bomb, Jan, what do we have happening? <v Speaker 3>We got Voicemail Dump Truck popping off thirty minutes later <v Speaker 3>than the scheduled time, specially guest Lisa Wallen is joining <v Speaker 3>us there after the Voicemail dump Truck. Hey, Pine, pines and courts, mind your pints <v Speaker 1>and courts? <v Speaker 3>Okay, sure, Hey, I mentioned earlier that there's the likelihood <v Speaker 3>of some type of elected politician listening to any bit <v Speaker 3>of Giant Bomb programming. Kat Ab Gazale, let's get you <v Speaker 3>on the dump truck. <v Speaker 2>That she would be perfect on there. <v Speaker 3>That would rule. <v Speaker 1>I wanted to introduce her to Dan Reikert and Mike Manatti. <v Speaker 1>That would be a nightmare for everybody. <v Speaker 3>That's another episode. Dan should be Dan and Mike maybe <v Speaker 3>shouldn't be. <v Speaker 2>Let's make it happen. <v Speaker 1>All right, let's see here anything else that we need <v Speaker 1>to do, anything else. <v Speaker 3>We need to tell the folks about.
