Eeny Teeny Maya Moe (S20E16)

Four Finger Discount (Simpsons Podcast)

Safe to say, this episode could have gone very pear-shaped, thankfully what we get is a lovely story between Moe and his (future) fiancée Maya. Does Moe deserve such happiness? Some may argue no, but those people clearly haven't watched this episode.

We also discuss the new taking food into the cinema, the early days of Netflix, the new Lilo & Stitch film and more.

<v Speaker 1>So maya, have you always been this size or is
<v Speaker 1>this like a Benjamin Button deal? No, I mean I
<v Speaker 1>just did your picture made you look more life sized?
<v Speaker 2>Well, if that was taken at Legoland, I was afraid
<v Speaker 2>you'd be disappointed in the real me.
<v Speaker 1>What are you kidding me? You're the best thing to
<v Speaker 1>come in in this Boston's cable TV, And unlike cable TV,
<v Speaker 1>I ain't stealing you from the Chinese restaurant across the
<v Speaker 1>street there.
<v Speaker 3>Fourth Finger Discount, dude.
<v Speaker 4>Hey, everybody, welcome to four Finger Discount.
<v Speaker 5>With this week we're going to be reviewing all right,
<v Speaker 5>price your house any teeny my moo, I'm Dano.
<v Speaker 4>I'm guy and Dan I got it right. We had
<v Speaker 4>a little bit of to do before we hit record,
<v Speaker 4>before we started talking about is it any Who's the best?
<v Speaker 4>Hosted any Mini Money Mode?
<v Speaker 5>What did you just say? When you were a kid,
<v Speaker 5>I used to catch her tiger by the toe. We
<v Speaker 5>used to say, probably something pretty racist. Probably I did
<v Speaker 5>grow up in the sevenix. I grew up in the nineties,
<v Speaker 5>and we probably said something pretty racist as well.
<v Speaker 4>It's twenty twenty five and probably still offending someone. Yes,
<v Speaker 4>and given that, you know the nature of this episode.
<v Speaker 4>We may even say something not offensive insensitive exactly just
<v Speaker 4>because well we are who are I must admit going
<v Speaker 4>into this episode, Yeah, I was feeling a bit like
<v Speaker 4>standing Kyle on south By, I think we're just gonna
<v Speaker 4>avoid this one guy, Yeah, and thinking, hmm, Simpsons, should
<v Speaker 4>you really be you know, wading into this area.
<v Speaker 5>They handled it pretty well after they handed it, very
<v Speaker 5>very well. So this is the episode where Moe meets Meyer,
<v Speaker 5>a little person who meets on of the internet, starts
<v Speaker 5>dating her. Things don't go things go well at the start,
<v Speaker 5>and then by the end of it they're no longer together.
<v Speaker 5>She does return in season thirty three and they are
<v Speaker 5>now actually engaged, so long term booking here from the
<v Speaker 5>Simpsons spoiler wanning, I don't know, but yeah, I feel
<v Speaker 5>like we have to bring it up that he does
<v Speaker 5>find her again. But this is season twenty, so it
<v Speaker 5>took thirteen seasons for her to return, which I thought
<v Speaker 5>was probably a little too long. But yeah, so you're
<v Speaker 5>saying here how they handled the little people aspect of this, right,
<v Speaker 5>They put a spotlight in many aspects of what a
<v Speaker 5>little person might go through, and particularly her own insecurities
<v Speaker 5>because she sent a photo that made her look bigger
<v Speaker 5>than what she actually was. It was taking it Lego Land,
<v Speaker 5>which thought was a pretty funny gag to. I think
<v Speaker 5>most of the insecurities in this episode came from Mo right.
<v Speaker 5>He loved Maya for who she was, but he was
<v Speaker 5>insecure about what other people might think of her, when
<v Speaker 5>in reality it was all in his head. I think
<v Speaker 5>that was a very important part of this of this
<v Speaker 5>episode was that no one mocked her for her height
<v Speaker 5>at all, except for Moe in that brief scene when
<v Speaker 5>he proposes to her and whatnot. It wasn't mocking her
<v Speaker 5>for a height. He was making jokes.
<v Speaker 4>I know.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so it wasn't mocking her, right, But no one else, Homer, Marge,
<v Speaker 5>no one else even brought it up. It wasn't a
<v Speaker 5>big deal. Even Moe was concerned homes like, can I
<v Speaker 5>ask you a question while the kids were out of
<v Speaker 5>the room. He's like, oh my god, it's going to
<v Speaker 5>be about how we have sex or something. But no,
<v Speaker 5>it was just about nuclear physics and whatnot. Chances put
<v Speaker 5>a slapper ring on that, so she was she was
<v Speaker 5>just portrayed. The focus was for her, just her beauty
<v Speaker 5>and her intelligence. Moe was the only character insecure about
<v Speaker 5>it all. That's what didn't work out in the.
<v Speaker 4>End, that's correct. Yeah, and even he didn't really seem
<v Speaker 4>that insecure about it. Well, to my mind, at least.
<v Speaker 5>It was insecure about her. He was insecure about what
<v Speaker 5>other people perception. Yeah, perception.
<v Speaker 4>But even then it didn't really seem to me that
<v Speaker 4>the episode was putting all that much emphasis on it,
<v Speaker 4>or it just didn't come across that way. I was thinking, Oh,
<v Speaker 4>this is going to be the bulk of this episode
<v Speaker 4>is going to be sort of tugging at the collar,
<v Speaker 4>and how do I explain this? Or you know, what
<v Speaker 4>are people going to think? They only seemed to do
<v Speaker 4>it a little bit. Well.
<v Speaker 5>You had Mo asking or they said, when are we
<v Speaker 5>going to meet herm mow the bar flies Lenny and Carl,
<v Speaker 5>and he goes, oh soon, and he has that vision
<v Speaker 5>of them pushing her around in that cart and seeing
<v Speaker 5>her at the door and oh, no, not going to happen.
<v Speaker 5>And then she asked, when he introduced me to your friends,
<v Speaker 5>what's going on here? He thinks of the Simpsons because
<v Speaker 5>they're the most what's the how did you described them?
<v Speaker 4>Normal? No? No, it's the ones. Yeah, when Moe's having
<v Speaker 4>thoughts like that or imagining things like that, do you
<v Speaker 4>think he was thinking, Oh, they're going to make fun
<v Speaker 4>of me, or they're gonna make fun of Maya, or
<v Speaker 4>they're gonna make fun of both of us. I think
<v Speaker 4>he's gonna make They're gonna make fun of Meyer. Yes,
<v Speaker 4>that's what I was saying, because it seemed like he
<v Speaker 4>wasn't that concerned of what they thought of him.
<v Speaker 5>No, no, no, they wouldn't have laughed at him. He didn't
<v Speaker 5>care about mocking him. It was then mocking her, and
<v Speaker 5>I guess in turn they mocked her. They're mocking him
<v Speaker 5>as a result as well, because he's with her, that's
<v Speaker 5>in his mind, I guess.
<v Speaker 4>So. Yeah, that wasn't really conveyed that strongly for mine.
<v Speaker 5>Okay, fair enough, Yeah, but again, most insecurities he feels. Okay,
<v Speaker 5>in order to make her feel normal, he's gonna drop
<v Speaker 5>his height as well and have the operation make himself
<v Speaker 5>look like her because she's different, when you shouldn't be
<v Speaker 5>worried about that at all. That's why she walks out
<v Speaker 5>in the end, because she wants someone who loves her
<v Speaker 5>for her, just wants someone who loves her it sees
<v Speaker 5>her as beautiful, not short. So Moe is clearly still
<v Speaker 5>focused on the fact that she's short because he wants
<v Speaker 5>to lower his height. I know he's doing it for
<v Speaker 5>what he thinks is the right reasons, but it's not
<v Speaker 5>the right reasons.
<v Speaker 4>No, it's not.
<v Speaker 5>But yeah, and I can see why she would be
<v Speaker 5>bothered by it.
<v Speaker 4>I see where you're coming from. I think I'm operating
<v Speaker 4>from my preconceived notions about the episode in that and
<v Speaker 4>also about Mo in that, you think, Oh, he's generally
<v Speaker 4>going to be kind of insensitive. He's going to be
<v Speaker 4>putting his foot in his mouth. It's just sort of
<v Speaker 4>second nature for him to say the first thing that
<v Speaker 4>comes into his head, however insensitive or hurtful it may be,
<v Speaker 4>or callous or whatever. He didn't really come across that
<v Speaker 4>way in this episode. Mo for the most part, was
<v Speaker 4>misguarded in some ways, but he was generally very very sensitive,
<v Speaker 4>very very romantic, and kind of a good guy. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>I just think there's a little tone death in that scene.
<v Speaker 5>When he was making all the jokes, it was just
<v Speaker 5>you're not Yeah, he's not doing it because he's trying
<v Speaker 5>to mock her, He's just like, oh, I've been holding
<v Speaker 5>these ones in that we can finally relax and make
<v Speaker 5>these jokes. It's like he's not really feeling thinking about
<v Speaker 5>her feelings when he's doing that.
<v Speaker 4>That's true.
<v Speaker 5>It's not being a I guess you could see it
<v Speaker 5>and say he's maybe he's being a jerk, but he's
<v Speaker 5>not being typical mo jerk though. He's not going out
<v Speaker 5>of his way to be an asshole.
<v Speaker 4>No. No, you with every new relationship, for every relation
<v Speaker 4>that goes a little while, you know, you start to
<v Speaker 4>enter slightly uncharted waters where it's like, Okay, what can
<v Speaker 4>we make fun of each other about?
<v Speaker 5>Can I mock her? Can I mock her cooking? Can
<v Speaker 5>can she mock his weight?
<v Speaker 4>Can I take the piss for these reasons? Okay, not
<v Speaker 4>that reason.
<v Speaker 5>It's like, you know, when you've gone, oh too far? Yeah, oh,
<v Speaker 5>I'll tone to those jokes down.
<v Speaker 4>I had this. I had this the other night, not
<v Speaker 4>with But when I say not with lo, I mean
<v Speaker 4>it was more more about me.
<v Speaker 5>We're watching Okay, how are you people making fun of
<v Speaker 5>no Hair? I'm fine with it, fine with it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I can imagine you'll be fine with it. Yeah, but
<v Speaker 5>some people might be bothered by it.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, absolutely. Yeah. Well I'll tell two stories quickly. Okay,
<v Speaker 4>first of all, I'm sure I've told this one before,
<v Speaker 4>but you know, one of my fondest memories of life
<v Speaker 4>with Lou and life with loose family is, you know,
<v Speaker 4>she and I and her two sons who were watching
<v Speaker 4>Raiders of the Lost Dark one night, and you know
<v Speaker 4>there's a scene rais of the Lost Dark where there's
<v Speaker 4>the the big german mechanic who's Yeah, the fight near
<v Speaker 4>the plane. It ends very badly for the big mechanic. Dude.
<v Speaker 4>That's what they take.
<v Speaker 5>That's what the mick you, it's what they portray in
<v Speaker 5>the Indiana Jones Live Stun show. Yeah, the plane scene.
<v Speaker 4>But that guy appears is a kind of a stocky guy,
<v Speaker 4>bald head, got a beard, Felix Lo's youngest son. Not
<v Speaker 4>he goes, hey, there's you. I'm like, I'll pay that.
<v Speaker 5>I think he may have told that story before. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I thought it was kind of sweet that.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, as as you were saying, you're comfortable around someone
<v Speaker 4>enough to go that's you, or yeah, taking the piss
<v Speaker 4>a little.
<v Speaker 5>Bit, he should take it into positive lights. He's relaxed
<v Speaker 5>and comfortable to make that joke.
<v Speaker 4>Absolutely. Yeah, No, I've always said that. You know, in
<v Speaker 4>the in the time that we've been going out, I
<v Speaker 4>knew that I was sort of in when they started
<v Speaker 4>making fun of me.
<v Speaker 5>That's how we are as Australians, operate very much, so
<v Speaker 5>very much. But the other night, you and I watching
<v Speaker 5>a show on the ABC called The Piano. Okay, are
<v Speaker 5>you aware of this one?
<v Speaker 4>I'm not aware. Now have you heard about this? Have
<v Speaker 4>you seen The Piano? I won't go into the whole
<v Speaker 4>detail about that, but it ends with a concert with
<v Speaker 4>a whole bunch of amateur pianists and they cut to
<v Speaker 4>some dude in the audience who, to mine looked like
<v Speaker 4>a very old gentleman with a big white beard and
<v Speaker 4>a bald head, and lou goes ah, they've cut to you.
<v Speaker 4>You cut me deep, honey. I literally said, fuck, say now.
<v Speaker 4>I wasn't hurt. Hurt, But at the same time, I
<v Speaker 4>was like, I don't think I'm that far down the line,
<v Speaker 4>am I. This is probably a preview of becoming attractions.
<v Speaker 4>And also, you know you may have looked a little
<v Speaker 4>bit like that when you weren't keeping your beard as
<v Speaker 4>tidy as you do. Now I'm still like, honey, please what.
<v Speaker 5>You said it, I got lined up next for you.
<v Speaker 5>But sometimes it's also the mentality of I wouldn't make
<v Speaker 5>the joke if it was true as well, that is great.
<v Speaker 4>I think the thing that hurt the most was I
<v Speaker 4>dropped into the supermarket on the way over to lose
<v Speaker 4>and there's this.
<v Speaker 5>Big after all before this was beforeforehand, and there was this.
<v Speaker 4>Big billboard for Lorial face cream or something like. That
<v Speaker 4>very beautiful model who reminded me of Lou took a
<v Speaker 4>picture of us. Hey, sorry, later's modeling gigs. I'm like,
<v Speaker 4>I'm doubly out compliments. Yeah, like the sweet gentle that
<v Speaker 4>I am, and I get referred to us like bustard
<v Speaker 4>us Santa bad Santa. But at the same time, you're
<v Speaker 4>not going to do that with someone who you're uncomfortable
<v Speaker 4>of course. Yeah, so yeah, I watched this episode prior
<v Speaker 4>to all that happening, but yeah, I mean that's what
<v Speaker 4>it is in a relationship, though. Yeah, you've got you've
<v Speaker 4>sort of got to gauge your moments and gauge your
<v Speaker 4>levels of like, okay, that's not your weak spot. But
<v Speaker 4>it's like do a little do a little poking a prod.
<v Speaker 5>It's also an acknowledgement of that scene where was making
<v Speaker 5>the jokes of the efforts he's putting in with Maya,
<v Speaker 5>because he says, I've been sitting on these ones for
<v Speaker 5>a while, so he's thought ahead of time. Oh no, No,
<v Speaker 5>she wouldn't want these jokes because she he opened the
<v Speaker 5>door with her little woman Joe, He's okay, cool, Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I've got some jokes as well.
<v Speaker 4>Oh so, yeah, this is not that much of a
<v Speaker 4>sore spot that, you know, we can't acknowledge it and
<v Speaker 4>we can't even make a little fun of it. You know, Hey,
<v Speaker 4>we're all adults here, that.
<v Speaker 5>Kind of And it's not that he was mocking her
<v Speaker 5>height at all. He's comfortable with her, he loves her.
<v Speaker 4>I imagine that if she said, oh, look, you know
<v Speaker 4>you've got this part ugly face or something like that,
<v Speaker 4>or found some aspect about him to he'd be annoyed.
<v Speaker 4>You think, I reckon? You would think. It depends on
<v Speaker 4>the context, I guess, and the level of insult. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>I think overall though they handled it very very well.
<v Speaker 5>I do think I ever watched this episode. I remember
<v Speaker 5>seeing the primo for it and went, I ain't touched
<v Speaker 5>in that one because we've seen how the Simpsons handle things,
<v Speaker 5>like they're still making homophobic gags in two thousand and nineties,
<v Speaker 5>going ah, this is not going to end well. But no,
<v Speaker 5>I think considering this was what sixteen years ago, they
<v Speaker 5>did a good job. It's actually a similar story. It
<v Speaker 5>isn't It isn't. So we had the story of it's
<v Speaker 5>Dumbbell and damone. I think it's season nine episode where
<v Speaker 5>Mode dates Renee, which is voiced by Helen Hunt.
<v Speaker 4>That's right. Yeah, but in that one there.
<v Speaker 5>He is constantly trying to keep up with her, and oh,
<v Speaker 5>she's gotta think I'm rich, she's got to think I'm
<v Speaker 5>a great, great partner, blah blah blah. This one here,
<v Speaker 5>it's more he's focused on the insecurities of her that
<v Speaker 5>in the first one, she's just this beautiful woman in
<v Speaker 5>his eyes. He's like, I've got to keep up. I've gotta,
<v Speaker 5>you know, keep She.
<v Speaker 4>Is a beautiful woman, but also out of the out
<v Speaker 4>of the ordinary.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, what problic perception is or out of the ordinary.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>We also get the b plot here of Homer started
<v Speaker 5>off really weak. I went, we had a really great
<v Speaker 5>home last week. Now we've got Homer forgetting his daughter's
<v Speaker 5>name and not want to spend time with her. And
<v Speaker 5>I think there's one part where he says, you set
<v Speaker 5>your expectations way too high and possibly high, and I'm like, ah, whatever.
<v Speaker 5>I think by the end of it it was fine.
<v Speaker 5>It was just a simple be plot to sort of
<v Speaker 5>keep a Simpson involved in the episode.
<v Speaker 4>I think, so, yeah, that's really how it came across.
<v Speaker 4>It wasn't so much so moving things forward or revealing
<v Speaker 4>anything new or reinforcing something that we already knew. You're right,
<v Speaker 4>It was just not that it was necessarily a filler.
<v Speaker 4>I mean it, it was filler. It was good filler. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>I enjoyed it. Yeah, we got Was it a Warrior's parody? Uh? Yes?
<v Speaker 4>With the bottles clinking? Yeah? Yeah?
<v Speaker 5>Which was I guess was Kearney's son, because you're going
<v Speaker 5>the Wikipedia and he's referred to as Keerniey's son. Okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>kenniy Ken he must have another son because he has
<v Speaker 5>another one where he's like a sleep in a drawer,
<v Speaker 5>So that's one. You must have two kids. Overall though, Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I thought this was a fun episode. Fine, A fine
<v Speaker 5>episode wasn't like laugh out loud funny or anything. Had
<v Speaker 5>its moments, but it was just a sweet story. I
<v Speaker 5>guess you could say. I feel like the most episodes
<v Speaker 5>tend to be a lot more enjoyable as an adult
<v Speaker 5>man as a kid. I think, I really not that
<v Speaker 5>I relate to Mo, but I understand MO a lot
<v Speaker 5>more as I get older. When I was a kid,
<v Speaker 5>he's just like this grumpy old widow. And as you
<v Speaker 5>get older and you become a grumpy old widow, you
<v Speaker 5>start to sort of go, oh, I can see things.
<v Speaker 5>I can see why he's this way.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, why he's perpetually sort of irritated all it
<v Speaker 4>feels like the worlds against it was only No Funeral.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, one of the best sight gags in the history
<v Speaker 5>of The Simpsons is No Funeral.
<v Speaker 4>Terribly dark, terribly die. But also, yeah, I can relate it. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>But before we get into full blown reviews and favorite
<v Speaker 5>moments and that kind of stuff, let's talk about our weekend.
<v Speaker 4>How'd you go?
<v Speaker 5>I want to touch on my working because I often
<v Speaker 5>get to Monday morning. Right, I'm thirty six, turning thirty
<v Speaker 5>seven this year, and obviously I'm a dad, running a
<v Speaker 5>long and sleep and whatnot and tired and working. I
<v Speaker 5>can't remember what happens on the weekend half the time,
<v Speaker 5>and it scares me a little bit. I go, I
<v Speaker 5>genuinely have to think, what did I do yesterday? But
<v Speaker 5>this weekend was so fun that I remembered all of it.
<v Speaker 5>So like a Friday. I gotta give a shout out
<v Speaker 5>to my my mom and my sister. It was their
<v Speaker 5>birthday on Friday. So my mom turned sixty two, throwing
<v Speaker 5>your age out there, and my sister turned thirty three.
<v Speaker 5>But it's nice. My sister was born on my mum's birthday.
<v Speaker 5>I was born on Father's Day. Both born on special days. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>so happy birthday to my mum and my sister. We
<v Speaker 5>went up to a Japanese or you can eat restaurant
<v Speaker 5>on Packington Street. I'm not sure we've ever been there.
<v Speaker 5>Have you ever been there?
<v Speaker 4>I have not been there. It's worth they not worth it.
<v Speaker 4>It couldn't exist anymore if i'd been there. Yeah, eat,
<v Speaker 4>they've gone out of business. That what they do is
<v Speaker 4>that he ate all we had.
<v Speaker 5>They give you sessions, so you got ninety minute session
<v Speaker 5>to eat as much as you can at a time.
<v Speaker 4>But basically that sounds very organized in the Japanese fashion.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, and it's clever too, because if you order food
<v Speaker 5>and you don't finish it, that make you pay for
<v Speaker 5>it extra. So it's like, only order what you can't eat,
<v Speaker 5>don't just order a shitload of food to your table
<v Speaker 5>and waste because they're like, we don't want to waste food.
<v Speaker 4>This is sounding like the trolley problem. Well, this is
<v Speaker 4>sounding like some hypothetical. It's like it as much as
<v Speaker 4>you can, but then this time, but if you don't
<v Speaker 4>eat all you can inside, as Guy Likes says, it
<v Speaker 4>was my understanding, there would be no math.
<v Speaker 5>So it got to the point where at the end
<v Speaker 5>I was like I ordered this soution, I was like,
<v Speaker 5>I can't eat it, so so switched it a bit so.
<v Speaker 4>But it was good.
<v Speaker 5>It's like thirty something dollars or you can eat Japanese
<v Speaker 5>great food.
<v Speaker 4>Delicious. Was good.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, but the kids, you know, they don't eat enough
<v Speaker 5>of it, so it's not worth it. Not worth taking
<v Speaker 5>your kids at this, honestly. But if you're just going
<v Speaker 5>out on a date with the lovely little whatever or
<v Speaker 5>her kids who are older, that was it was well
<v Speaker 5>worth the time. So then on Saturday we went to
<v Speaker 5>the football pissing down rain, but it's a good time.
<v Speaker 4>We took Holly. She's not really interested in the footy,
<v Speaker 4>but she was well behaved enough for us to enjoy
<v Speaker 4>the footy. Still, it's amazing that not into the footy
<v Speaker 4>and also went to the footy in the rain.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, it was a miserable well it's been a shitty
<v Speaker 5>weekend weatherwise in Geelong, but we went to a two
<v Speaker 5>dollars shop on the way.
<v Speaker 4>We got some ponchos.
<v Speaker 5>Kids loved it. They had a great time. But then
<v Speaker 5>Saturday night after the footy, we caught it with one
<v Speaker 5>of our dear patrons, actually the very first patron we
<v Speaker 5>ever had here at the very first stone cut we
<v Speaker 5>ever had your a four fingre disc at Jordan Moulman Richie.
<v Speaker 4>Correct out loud, Jordan Mulman. Richie was in town in
<v Speaker 4>g Town. Yeah, yeah, that's part of his globe trotting
<v Speaker 4>world travels for his business. Should we give hm shout
<v Speaker 4>out of business to it? Singer s I n g
<v Speaker 4>A karaoke systems I believe, yes.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so he sells karaoke. It's like a karaoke system. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>with the rooms kind of thing where that you hire
<v Speaker 5>their program to run your karaoke room.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, and apparently very big in Geelong. Well it's coming
<v Speaker 4>very big in Geelong. Dan and I met him. We
<v Speaker 4>sort of did it in phases as well. Because Dan
<v Speaker 4>was at the foot of You with his kids. I
<v Speaker 4>hadn't gone that day, so I did an initial meeting
<v Speaker 4>with Jordan at a place called here and Now in Geelong,
<v Speaker 4>a karaoke lounge because karaoke is his business. So we
<v Speaker 4>did that and then.
<v Speaker 5>As soon as I arrived, guys like one leaving now
<v Speaker 5>we're passing the time.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I had to go see lou so you know,
<v Speaker 4>but we had a nice little we all had a
<v Speaker 4>very good catch up. Very good to see.
<v Speaker 5>Jordan doing well. Going back to where's he from Finland?
<v Speaker 4>Finland?
<v Speaker 5>That's right, yes, but he hopes to eventually move back
<v Speaker 5>to Australia at some point as well, So hopefully see
<v Speaker 5>you again. Mole Man. Thanks for the beer on the
<v Speaker 5>works dollar, that's correct.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, when we were offering to buy him a beer
<v Speaker 4>and he's saying, no, no work or pick this up
<v Speaker 4>business tab business tad. That's the thing I had to
<v Speaker 4>ask him a little bit about his business so he
<v Speaker 4>could legitimately right off. But no, very very good to
<v Speaker 4>see him. Yeah, he seems to be to be going great.
<v Speaker 4>He told some wonderful stories about Finland, about karaoke, talked
<v Speaker 4>a bit about the simptoms as we want to do.
<v Speaker 4>So that was a good catch up.
<v Speaker 5>I believe how cheap Petro was here, that's true. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>go to England. It's like two pound, two pounds a pound.
<v Speaker 5>So you went to the foot you had so John,
<v Speaker 5>Mom and Rich is Saurday night and then Sunday. I
<v Speaker 5>won't name the place because I don't want to throw
<v Speaker 5>the under the bus, right, I'll go we went.
<v Speaker 4>I won't do it.
<v Speaker 5>But it's a local place here with a bunch of
<v Speaker 5>crazy crap on the walls. Take your kids to have
<v Speaker 5>a bit of fun. We met up with our friends,
<v Speaker 5>but we've been raving about this place, right, and we said,
<v Speaker 5>you've gotta come out of lunch. Theare They got a
<v Speaker 5>great Sunday special. We get kids meals, blah blah blah,
<v Speaker 5>get free games and whatnot. You know might have worked
<v Speaker 5>that word. It is where there's games to play arka games.
<v Speaker 4>I may well know what you're talking about. But still
<v Speaker 4>we're not going to throw anyone under the back.
<v Speaker 5>But my friend Phil, I've referred him many times. He's
<v Speaker 5>the best man at my wedding. It seems to be
<v Speaker 5>wherever you go with Phil, something goes wrong with his
<v Speaker 5>food or something's late. It's like he just brings this
<v Speaker 5>bad luck with.
<v Speaker 4>Him, right. It was just an albatross. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>So we get there and normally the food comes out
<v Speaker 5>really quickly. So we said to the ladies. They're like,
<v Speaker 5>we don't want to go to the arcade. You guys,
<v Speaker 5>take the kids for a bit. We'll sit here and
<v Speaker 5>watch the table. When the food comes over, we'll come
<v Speaker 5>get you. Yeah, so I or first the food feel
<v Speaker 5>ordered after me like a minute later, and then we're
<v Speaker 5>in the arcade and I'm not nikolair. Phil's wife comes
<v Speaker 5>over and says, oh, Brendan, your food's arrived. Ours won't
<v Speaker 5>be far away. I'm like cool, So I said, Phil,
<v Speaker 5>let's go back to the table. So we're got to
<v Speaker 5>the table. Our food's sitting there and they're waiting. They're waiting,
<v Speaker 5>they're waiting, they're waiting, and then the mother's meal comes,
<v Speaker 5>a chicken burger, and the rest of the two kids,
<v Speaker 5>and fill they're waiting. They're waiting, and like ten minutes
<v Speaker 5>goes by, and I said, this isn't right and normally
<v Speaker 5>all comes out together. Something's not right here, and he goes,
<v Speaker 5>should be fine. We ordered little bit after you, so
<v Speaker 5>maybe it'll be fine. I was like, nah, something's not right.
<v Speaker 5>Long so I got up, went to the counter and
<v Speaker 5>I said, oh, but just wondering table six. It was
<v Speaker 5>table six forty six orright, table forty six. The mothers
<v Speaker 5>received her food, but everyone else has and the guy
<v Speaker 5>gets her seat and he goes, get me brought to
<v Speaker 5>the table, and I went, what was brought to the
<v Speaker 5>wrong table? And he goes, no, no, And this smartass
<v Speaker 5>guy not him, this guy next to him with a
<v Speaker 5>shit eating grin on his face, just walks over his
<v Speaker 5>little hips looking dude with his freaking hand.
<v Speaker 4>And a bun and his glasses on.
<v Speaker 5>He's just sitting his little shitty teenager mustache and he's
<v Speaker 5>just like I brought all eight meals to the table
<v Speaker 5>with a little shit inny grin on his face, and
<v Speaker 5>I went, well, you didn't. I brought them all over
<v Speaker 5>on the same tray and placed them all down at
<v Speaker 5>the same time, and I said, my wife has not
<v Speaker 5>left that table and he goes, yeah, no, yeah, she
<v Speaker 5>was sitting there when I placed them all down. Yep,
<v Speaker 5>they were all sitting there when I play them all down.
<v Speaker 5>I went, well you didn't. I said, four meals arrived,
<v Speaker 5>and then about five minutes later, one extra meal arrived
<v Speaker 5>and I said, actually saying that, that means that you
<v Speaker 5>didn't bring all that over because one came, and then
<v Speaker 5>he goes, oh, yeah, I brought the last one over.
<v Speaker 5>About five minutes later. I went, no, you didn't. You
<v Speaker 5>didn't bring it over. Someone else brought it over. And
<v Speaker 5>then the guy looks at him and he goes, are
<v Speaker 5>you sure. He goes believe me, I know I'd brought
<v Speaker 5>them all over, and he had the big shit inny
<v Speaker 5>grin on his face and I said, boy, you come
<v Speaker 5>with me right now and come calm my wife a
<v Speaker 5>liar and he went, no, I'm not doing that. I said,
<v Speaker 5>you're calling my wife a liar. Come over and tell
<v Speaker 5>her she's a liar. Where's the security footage? And his
<v Speaker 5>brother comes over, who's apparently the manager, and he goes,
<v Speaker 5>what's going on. I said, he's called my wife a liar,
<v Speaker 5>we didn't get our food, and he goes which table?
<v Speaker 5>I said, forty six And he looks at his brother,
<v Speaker 5>and his brother goes, I took it all over. I
<v Speaker 5>don't know what to tell you. I went you didn't,
<v Speaker 5>I said, get the security footage.
<v Speaker 4>You know what happened.
<v Speaker 5>We had friends on table twenty six right who had
<v Speaker 5>ordered the same meals. They brought over to their table
<v Speaker 5>three meals, but the mom didn't get her meal till
<v Speaker 5>about fifteen twenty minutes later because they fucking took the
<v Speaker 5>three meals from our table to their table instead. Did
<v Speaker 5>they ever own up to this?
<v Speaker 4>No? Okay, Now I'm team dandel on this. Of course,
<v Speaker 4>having said that common enough mistake. If this guy hadn't
<v Speaker 4>been such a douchebag, that's it. Everything would have been
<v Speaker 4>all right.
<v Speaker 5>I said, all you had to do was own it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>if you make a mistake, we own it.
<v Speaker 4>We say, the customer is always right. The customer is
<v Speaker 4>not always right. But I was right here, but in
<v Speaker 4>this case you were so. Really it's words to sort
<v Speaker 4>of live by if you're in the service injuries, like
<v Speaker 4>the customer is always right, Just go along to get along,
<v Speaker 4>maybe spit in their burger a bit later.
<v Speaker 5>Who knows, but you know what happened. They then said,
<v Speaker 5>we'll happen. We'll make them up really quickly now for
<v Speaker 5>you guys. So we go back to the table. They're waiting,
<v Speaker 5>they're waiting, they're waiting. They're bring over the food. They
<v Speaker 5>take it to the same fucking table again, and our
<v Speaker 5>friends were like, no, we didn't order this. They're like,
<v Speaker 5>so he takes it back and puts it back on
<v Speaker 5>the bay marine. He takes it to the wrong table again.
<v Speaker 5>Then we're playing bowling and our friends just happened to
<v Speaker 5>be in the lane next to us who are on
<v Speaker 5>the other table.
<v Speaker 4>You could just say bowling. What did I say, playing bowling?
<v Speaker 4>We're doing more bowling? I know?
<v Speaker 5>Ye yeah, And this same ship edting grin looking motherfucker
<v Speaker 5>brings over fish and chips, and he goes, who order
<v Speaker 5>fish and chips? We'll go none of us order fish
<v Speaker 5>and chips. He was taking it to the wrong fucking yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, this guy sucks this clearly.
<v Speaker 5>It was the ship eating grin on his face. After
<v Speaker 5>he's like, yeah, I took it all over, and I went.
<v Speaker 4>You didn't, you didn't, You made a mistake. Just just
<v Speaker 4>own it.
<v Speaker 5>But he refused to acknowledge made a mistake. So we
<v Speaker 5>both got both got one hundred dollars gift out just
<v Speaker 5>to use for next time.
<v Speaker 4>Well that's good news. Yeah, if you ever want to
<v Speaker 4>go back.
<v Speaker 5>I was, well, I was more disappointed because we've been
<v Speaker 5>talking to his place up like it's so good, our
<v Speaker 5>friends travel all the way from Drysdale to come down
<v Speaker 5>check it out, and this happened, and this happens.
<v Speaker 4>I'll never trust you again.
<v Speaker 5>But the motto for me is the message from all
<v Speaker 5>this is, if you make a mistake, just accept it,
<v Speaker 5>own it and be like I'm human, I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 4>I have to fix it. Absolutely absolutely. Yeah. So that was.
<v Speaker 5>That was a fun Sunday. It was we haven't had
<v Speaker 5>a good time nonetheless. And then on Monday we went
<v Speaker 5>and saw Stitch. Oh, Lilo and Lelo and Stitch. Yes,
<v Speaker 5>I thought for some reason I thought it was called Stitch.
<v Speaker 5>All the marketing just said Stitch and then also marketing
<v Speaker 5>at the movies, and I said, oh, it's Lelo and Stitch.
<v Speaker 5>I thought it was just marketed as Stitch.
<v Speaker 4>I say, with all due respect to delightful child who
<v Speaker 4>is Lelo, We're all there for Stitch. Yeah, everyone's there
<v Speaker 4>for Stitch.
<v Speaker 5>And yeah, we used our points of a villageh didn't
<v Speaker 5>with points, so we didn't have to pay anything for that.
<v Speaker 5>But food price has gone up in the candy bar again,
<v Speaker 5>it was like thirty two dollars with just two popcorns
<v Speaker 5>and a drink and I was like, what's going on?
<v Speaker 4>Well, yeah, I hope you maybe smuggled in like a
<v Speaker 4>bottle of water and a packet of las in your pocket.
<v Speaker 5>Nicola brought in a baked potato with all the trimmings.
<v Speaker 5>I brought in some sushi.
<v Speaker 4>Why would you pay extortion a snack bar mark up price?
<v Speaker 5>Exactly right, you would not do it. And it's funny
<v Speaker 5>because Nicola opened up the potato. It's just aroama of
<v Speaker 5>just baked potatoes. To see all the mums go yeah, I.
<v Speaker 4>Was really happy about It's like, oh you know what,
<v Speaker 4>it would go down great when that would be a
<v Speaker 4>baked potato. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>So Stitch though, I enjoyed it. It's it's pretty different
<v Speaker 5>to the original animes religion. Yeah, I didn't read any reviews.
<v Speaker 5>I did see some people bad mouth think it's just people.
<v Speaker 5>It's not the way it used to be the basic mentality.
<v Speaker 5>My kids enjoyed it all that it is the way
<v Speaker 5>it used to be. Yeah, it's actually a pretty different story.
<v Speaker 5>I mean, it's the same story, but the ending is
<v Speaker 5>a bit different, and it's similar.
<v Speaker 4>It's not.
<v Speaker 5>If you've watched both, you understand what I'm talking about.
<v Speaker 5>I don't want to spoil anything, okay, but yeah, I
<v Speaker 5>thought for the most part it was a pretty enjoyable movie.
<v Speaker 5>Goes pretty pretty long, two hours long for a kids movie.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I'd say so.
<v Speaker 5>The most annoying thing about the whole experience was just
<v Speaker 5>I feel like, you go to the V Junior we
<v Speaker 5>call them V Junior cinemas here in Geelong, or just
<v Speaker 5>Fellishing was in Australia, where they're designed for kids who've
<v Speaker 5>got a slide. They push pause halfway through the movie.
<v Speaker 5>There's hot wheels, there's blocks, there's coloring in. I feel
<v Speaker 5>like parents, though, they feel if I've bought a ticket
<v Speaker 5>for this, that's my license to switch off and let
<v Speaker 5>my kid run wild when a movie's on. And I
<v Speaker 5>get that, but I don't mind your kid running wild.
<v Speaker 5>If you're making an efforts just somewhat control them, be like, look,
<v Speaker 5>come back, sit down. The movie's on, Sit the fuck down,
<v Speaker 5>but it's the parents that sit there on their phones
<v Speaker 5>while the kids are running up and down the aisles
<v Speaker 5>and banging on the screen down the front, and you think,
<v Speaker 5>do something.
<v Speaker 4>Do I'm reminded of something I saw on the internet
<v Speaker 4>over the weekend, kind of position in that aita kind
<v Speaker 4>of thing. Am I the asshole? Yeah? Yeah, but it
<v Speaker 4>was security footage of someone's house, like from their ring
<v Speaker 4>camera or something. Okay, as we see these three kids
<v Speaker 4>who look like tweens to early teenagers sort of running there, ah,
<v Speaker 4>running from someone in the neighborhood. It turns out to
<v Speaker 4>be this woman who is being called a Karen in
<v Speaker 4>this particular situation cause he's like, I represent the homeowners
<v Speaker 4>association of this area. Could you just tell your kids
<v Speaker 4>to sort of keep it down a bit? They're running
<v Speaker 4>up and down the street. I've had like twenty complaints
<v Speaker 4>from twenty different houses that your kids are being kind
<v Speaker 4>of loud, kind of annoying.
<v Speaker 5>And rain it in slightly. Please, yeah, rain it in
<v Speaker 5>a little bit.
<v Speaker 4>These are your kids because you have come into your house,
<v Speaker 4>have fun, but just don't Yeah, but also yeah, just
<v Speaker 4>be connaistant. Yeah, to quote George Sixtans that we live
<v Speaker 4>in a society here people and the dad I think
<v Speaker 4>is kind of like, we're just letting kids be kids.
<v Speaker 4>You know, if you're not, you're.
<v Speaker 5>Actually doing nothing. You're sitting on your ass and side
<v Speaker 5>doing fucking nothing. What you're doing, just let.
<v Speaker 4>Children be children. You know, this is the problem with
<v Speaker 4>society today. You're you know, blah blah blah blah. That's like, No,
<v Speaker 4>I think you might be in the wrong. I think
<v Speaker 4>your kids might be annoying as hell. And if you're
<v Speaker 4>getting that many complaints from that many people who I'm
<v Speaker 4>sure are not all teaming up saying let's be let's
<v Speaker 4>all be collectively old man Davis and tell the kids
<v Speaker 4>to get off our lawn. I don't know. I think
<v Speaker 4>Karen might be on the right here. Yeah, you're My
<v Speaker 4>weekend look not nearly as eventful, um felt. I was
<v Speaker 4>coming down with the cold, so I said to the
<v Speaker 4>lovely weads, I think I'm saying in tonight, honey, got
<v Speaker 4>myself a pizza and watched Predator Killer of Killers. I
<v Speaker 4>saw you. I enjoyed that. Yeah, I did enjoy that
<v Speaker 4>very much.
<v Speaker 5>I do enjoy going to bed at like one am
<v Speaker 5>and then seeing you just go hashtag now watching whenever
<v Speaker 5>I got to bed obvious, see like a hashtag now
<v Speaker 5>watching your view.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah it's really at one am.
<v Speaker 5>It's usually two. You're making sure that was one last night?
<v Speaker 5>You were watching what was it? Let's go on your Twitter.
<v Speaker 4>I was watching Hannibal last night. Hand Yeah, rewatching the
<v Speaker 4>TV series Hannibal.
<v Speaker 5>About eleven o'clock last night? Was it was when I
<v Speaker 5>went to bed last night about eleven eleven thirty.
<v Speaker 4>No, I think I probably tweeted around ten or ten thirty.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, you have a look, maybe it's just come
<v Speaker 4>with my feet alone. I maybe went to bed at
<v Speaker 4>around eleven thirty one's everything had wrapped up. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>good show.
<v Speaker 5>But yeah, so I just said to Nikola, I feel
<v Speaker 5>like when you go to the cinema experiences the V Junior,
<v Speaker 5>you see the difference between parents and babysitters Oh sure,
<v Speaker 5>and ones who don't want to actually put the foot
<v Speaker 5>down because they have a slide. There's anyone slides. The
<v Speaker 5>kids have the lineup, and these kids who were being
<v Speaker 5>ship heads were of course, what do you think they
<v Speaker 5>were doing when there was a line for the slide?
<v Speaker 5>What do you think the Shihead kids were doing.
<v Speaker 4>I imagine they were either cutting in line or they
<v Speaker 4>were climbing up the slide. Both. Actually, you're right.
<v Speaker 5>They won't climbing out the side during the film as well,
<v Speaker 5>so you're not supposed touch the slide whilst the film
<v Speaker 5>is running. But anyway, so Nicola goes back up there
<v Speaker 5>and she's like policing the line and make sure these
<v Speaker 5>kids aren't cuting in. Oh, she's ex police because yeah,
<v Speaker 5>that's true. But the dad of the naughty girl was
<v Speaker 5>just like, just let her go first and then you
<v Speaker 5>guys can go like, wait what, So he's saying to
<v Speaker 5>the he's saying, kids, let my daughter cut in so
<v Speaker 5>she can get it out of a system, and then
<v Speaker 5>you guys can have your fun. That's his way of parenting. Well,
<v Speaker 5>it's terrible a parent. Oh god, Nicolas Nichola. I was
<v Speaker 5>sitting there and I'm watching, and Nicola goes, no, she won't,
<v Speaker 5>She'll go to the end of the line. And the
<v Speaker 5>guy's like, I'm not going to fuck with this woman.
<v Speaker 5>Go to the end of the line.
<v Speaker 4>Speak. I can see why you two work so well.
<v Speaker 4>I mean this in the best sense. You're very call
<v Speaker 4>the manager. Well, I was sitting there.
<v Speaker 5>I was Nicolas more bothered by it, but I just went,
<v Speaker 5>you know what, You just can't let shithead kids get
<v Speaker 5>away beating shit head kids.
<v Speaker 4>Oh no, I become that, become shitthead teenagers and eventually
<v Speaker 4>shithead adults.
<v Speaker 5>Because what happens is Alliott for example, they'll kind of
<v Speaker 5>from an Alliot. He'll react and go no, no, no, and
<v Speaker 5>he'll like push him and he'll get in trouble for
<v Speaker 5>reacting to it. And it's just like if every kid
<v Speaker 5>just did what they're fucking told in the first place.
<v Speaker 4>Oh, this shit would be a problem.

<v Speaker 5>our favorite moment, shall we? For my weekend?
<v Speaker 4>Let's get to the favorite moments from this episode. Well,
<v Speaker 4>I was going to ask, I mean, you saw Stitch,
<v Speaker 4>You're going to go see the live action how to
<v Speaker 4>train your Dragon?
<v Speaker 5>I've never seen the animated version.
<v Speaker 4>What I've seen them.
<v Speaker 5>I didn't seen Lelo and Stitch the animated version till
<v Speaker 5>last week. I was like, well, I should probably watch
<v Speaker 5>this first before I see the live action one. Oh,
<v Speaker 5>you absolutely should. Yeah, yeah, I had to train and
<v Speaker 5>Dragon's fantastic. I'm talking about the lego one. It's what
<v Speaker 5>I Yeah, I hadn't seen the anime. I remember putting
<v Speaker 5>it on for Ali. I may have mentioned this, and
<v Speaker 5>it just it was very dark and it kind of
<v Speaker 5>spooked him. I think it was about two or three
<v Speaker 5>years ago, so you will have dragoned in about four. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>Dragon as I'm kind of spooky at the start.
<v Speaker 4>It's just dark.
<v Speaker 5>I being dark a little bit, not dark as in
<v Speaker 5>like thing whise, just visually dark.
<v Speaker 4>Sure.
<v Speaker 5>But yeah, it's like three of them now right there.
<v Speaker 5>There's a whole theme park now being dedicated to it.
<v Speaker 5>I think at Universe, like the whole section.
<v Speaker 4>Nice.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, was it Lightfoot? Is that the name?
<v Speaker 4>What's the no? What's the toothless? Toothless? Is the black one? Yeah? Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I will check it out. I just never really, it's weird.
<v Speaker 4>You just got to get to an age where we go.
<v Speaker 5>You just skip a whole generation of animated films like
<v Speaker 5>Lelo and Stitch, I said to Nicola late nineties till
<v Speaker 5>like twenty ten, I just skipped a whole bunch of
<v Speaker 5>animated films.
<v Speaker 4>I just missed them. Yeah, and given your appreciation for
<v Speaker 4>animation and all that kind of stuff, yeah, that is
<v Speaker 4>a bit of it. I mean I was reviewing movies
<v Speaker 4>at that time, so I mean, I'm of course I've
<v Speaker 4>seen the Shreks and Leon Stitch and on the internet,
<v Speaker 4>Emperors New groove and what was he Roduel Dorado and
<v Speaker 4>a few other things like that Prince of a Prince
<v Speaker 4>ofa that was late ninety early two thousands. But yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I think there was. I'm trying to remember.
<v Speaker 5>I didn't even see the Iron Giant tool. I was
<v Speaker 5>much older, you know. I just missed the whole generation.
<v Speaker 5>I think it ended for me at Pocahontas. I was
<v Speaker 5>just Pocondest was the last one I remember watching them.
<v Speaker 5>It was Mulan. I never watched Mulan. Tarzan is Tarzan, Hunchbacker,
<v Speaker 5>not your dam none of those ones. Hercules didn't see
<v Speaker 5>it either, I sto haven't seen it.
<v Speaker 4>Wow, you've got the service, not as Disney. Plus, we
<v Speaker 4>haven't deed.
<v Speaker 5>Friends of the pod, Friend of the part, my favorite?
<v Speaker 5>What were your favorite moments in the episode?
<v Speaker 4>Okay, I liked it. There was a Little Women.
<v Speaker 5>Callback that's actually one of mine as well. Yeah, it
<v Speaker 5>made sense. It's from Homer Loves Slanders when it's like
<v Speaker 5>they were no longer Little Girls get a whim it.
<v Speaker 4>It's not actually, this is probably not news to any
<v Speaker 4>but that's not actually a line in Little Women, is
<v Speaker 4>it not? Okay? Oh no, it's just a joke that
<v Speaker 4>they made up. But you've got so many people who
<v Speaker 4>have actually like that's the end they've written like high
<v Speaker 4>school assignments, they were no longer a little girl? Are
<v Speaker 4>little women any seventeen? And look at those guys. You
<v Speaker 4>didn't read the book? What's the Simpsons?
<v Speaker 5>Most is like the Simpsons did change that like history
<v Speaker 5>in many ways in that aspect though, like things happen
<v Speaker 5>on the Simpsons, you just assume that really happened.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah, no, no no, but yeah. And I also did
<v Speaker 4>like trying to be sensitive in his own particular way,
<v Speaker 4>referring to my as hard as it's just sort of
<v Speaker 4>like a Benjamin Button.
<v Speaker 5>Deal I actually want to touch. Do you think they
<v Speaker 5>got the idea for this episode by someone?
<v Speaker 4>And the writers are.
<v Speaker 5>Going people actually think that Moe said that little women
<v Speaker 5>that they think it's in the real book, and and
<v Speaker 5>someone goes should actually date a little person? Don't established
<v Speaker 5>from that. It's such a random story. It really is
<v Speaker 5>for Mo to be like, I feel like that little
<v Speaker 5>callback for me, I went, I wonder if.
<v Speaker 4>That yeah, interesting? Speaking of I think they're mostly Mo
<v Speaker 4>lines my favorite bits, but just yeah, where he's talking
<v Speaker 4>about how he's actually starting to fall for for my
<v Speaker 4>It's like, it's like my heart wants to do it.
<v Speaker 4>It's very sweet, It is very and it's kind of
<v Speaker 4>very mo Yeah, it's also very male. I initially thought
<v Speaker 4>we'll talk about this more when we talk about the
<v Speaker 4>episode in but like the Mya storyline just ends like that.
<v Speaker 4>Oh no, Actually I had a pretty decent resolution at
<v Speaker 4>the very end.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, that's true. Yeah, because I was like, oh, that's
<v Speaker 5>kind of sad and depression.
<v Speaker 4>That's kind of sad, and that's it, you know, there's
<v Speaker 4>you're wrapping it up like that. But no, it wasn't
<v Speaker 4>really and my story it was more a Most story
<v Speaker 4>about Most sort of taking one more step on his
<v Speaker 4>emotional journey.
<v Speaker 5>So well, Homer's advice I actually really liked where he says,
<v Speaker 5>you were on the sidelines, but now you're back in
<v Speaker 5>the game and someone did love you, which means that
<v Speaker 5>someone could love you a get in the future, And
<v Speaker 5>I like that's a great mindset to have. You've lost someone,
<v Speaker 5>but that someone loved you, which means there's going to
<v Speaker 5>be someone else out there who will as well. Yes,
<v Speaker 5>don't don't fall off, don't go back on the sidelines,
<v Speaker 5>get back in the game.
<v Speaker 4>I have certainly had that when when I went through
<v Speaker 4>a very bad breakup at one stage and thought, oh,
<v Speaker 4>that's it. I'm off the table, completely unlovable, that kind
<v Speaker 4>of things like what love hurt? Well, yeah, very much,
<v Speaker 4>but no, that's that's exactly the line of thinking that
<v Speaker 4>I had, where it's like, no, that's not true. You know,
<v Speaker 4>people have loved me in the past, and I imagine
<v Speaker 4>they will do it, they will do so again in
<v Speaker 4>the future. I can be loved, yeah, provided I.
<v Speaker 5>Shaved my chest and well, yeah, make sure you don't
<v Speaker 5>have the Santa Claus be and all that kind of stuff.
<v Speaker 4>But my my favorite part, well was it I imagine
<v Speaker 4>they did. There's a tribute to Guy Davis. They reverred
<v Speaker 4>to something as already in progress, which what was that? Oh,
<v Speaker 4>this was early on. I've forgotten. I think it was.
<v Speaker 4>Do you know who said it? Hockey game?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, the hockey game. Yes, yeah, I actually didn't mind
<v Speaker 5>that as well. Where you know, I think he said
<v Speaker 5>something on the lines of when it's not sports season,
<v Speaker 5>I'm like, it's always sports season.
<v Speaker 6>Next question, you there eating the past?
<v Speaker 5>All right, trivia time. My first question for you, mister Davis,
<v Speaker 5>is What is the name of the Chinese restaurant next
<v Speaker 5>door to it?
<v Speaker 4>Is the Pan Fried Dragon. It is owned by Lying Chao.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, correct, Yes, indeed, Oh, you should have got Trey
<v Speaker 5>Parker and a guest voice that character.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, just to make sure that, Yeah, everything was completely sensitive,
<v Speaker 4>everything everything was culturally correct. They announce in a very
<v Speaker 4>long sentence the name of the hockey game that Homer
<v Speaker 4>is watching. What is it? Oh? Can I check my
<v Speaker 4>notes and on that too?
<v Speaker 5>Of course I know it is the mid Atlantic Hockey
<v Speaker 5>League Conference semi final do over game. That's the seventh overtime.
<v Speaker 4>You said that to you? Okay, Your next question.
<v Speaker 5>For me, speaking of the hockey game, who are the
<v Speaker 5>sesame street characters that are waiting to join the ice
<v Speaker 5>Elmo's in there is the one takes the head off.
<v Speaker 5>It's a woman eating a hot dog or whatever.
<v Speaker 4>What's this?
<v Speaker 5>Bird and Ernie no grow No, think of the main dude,
<v Speaker 5>big bird, big bird. Yeah, I've always said big bird,
<v Speaker 5>you know, big bird for fighters.
<v Speaker 4>Big Bird's that's a big bird cookie monster.
<v Speaker 5>I'll say one's count. Yes, always always terrified me as
<v Speaker 5>a kid.
<v Speaker 4>Count. It's just it's just the way he's demeanor and
<v Speaker 4>excitement and just that you know your numbers now that
<v Speaker 4>don't you? I do know? And then the odor this guy.
<v Speaker 5>If I wasn't hang out any sesame street Carricter, it's
<v Speaker 5>gonna be count it seems always having a good time
<v Speaker 5>Burton Ernie. Really if I feel like you'd be a
<v Speaker 5>real negative atmosphere hanging out.
<v Speaker 4>With canceling each other outsc Oscar.
<v Speaker 5>The groud should be fun to hang out with it
<v Speaker 5>his bitch about life. Yes, Cookie might, I'll be like, dude,
<v Speaker 5>just chill.
<v Speaker 4>He must have no personality outside let enjoying Cookie. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>it's just almost too optimistic and too sort of cheerful.
<v Speaker 5>Big birds the friends you want when you're down, feeling
<v Speaker 5>down and out.
<v Speaker 4>I imagine I'd be hanging out with Snuffer lovely guess,
<v Speaker 4>because I'd be trying to convince people that I actually
<v Speaker 4>had friends.
<v Speaker 5>Stuff a love igus. Remember that movie follow That Bird.
<v Speaker 5>I'm aware I stored that film as a kid, and
<v Speaker 5>I thought it was just a figment of my imagination.
<v Speaker 5>And I saw it pop up on Fox tele Reason.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, wait, this had like a cinematic this
<v Speaker 5>was a real movie. Oh yeah, not just a figment
<v Speaker 5>no good, good, good good film for children? Follow that Bird?
<v Speaker 4>How much money did Mo change by saving his name?
<v Speaker 4>Changing his name? Three hundred dollars? Do you have my
<v Speaker 4>notes in the review?
<v Speaker 5>That funny gag but doesn't make sense when you've had
<v Speaker 5>callbacks where Moe is a kid and he's just called Mo.
<v Speaker 4>Have we reached the stage of the game most timeline
<v Speaker 4>is continuity is just an absolute jumble, and they're doing gigs.
<v Speaker 5>Just for the fun of it. Not just most, just
<v Speaker 5>the Simpsons time, but especially its. You literally have to
<v Speaker 5>take each episode in its own little bubble these days,
<v Speaker 5>did this twenty two minutes entertain me?
<v Speaker 4>Yay or nay?
<v Speaker 5>More? I feel like it's been more yay than nay lately.
<v Speaker 5>But you can't go. But in the past this happened.
<v Speaker 5>It's like that doesn't exist.
<v Speaker 4>No, don't we don't believe in that? All right? Did
<v Speaker 4>you have one more question for me?
<v Speaker 5>I'm trying to find one more for you? Okay, So
<v Speaker 5>what does Moe referred wants to become a what when
<v Speaker 5>he's talking to him it and wants to become a something?
<v Speaker 3>Mo?
<v Speaker 4>Oh, it's a micromode micromo okay, man, one last question
<v Speaker 4>for you. I believe when Maya shows up at the
<v Speaker 4>bar at Most.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, yes, there is a bottle of a particular drink
<v Speaker 5>on the bar. Was it the snaps you put under
<v Speaker 5>his arms?
<v Speaker 4>Yes? Yeah, he used to.
<v Speaker 5>He's like deodrant. Yes, what do you spray or whatever?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah? Do you remer kind of snaps? No? I don't.
<v Speaker 4>It was mint minch snaps, mi snaps, which is probably
<v Speaker 4>the best kind of put under your arm pits. I
<v Speaker 4>don't think I've ever had snaps. I don't know what
<v Speaker 4>it is. What kind of drink is that? I think
<v Speaker 4>it's like a very concentrated spirit. Okay, yeah, bit like
<v Speaker 4>I keep wanting to say souvlaki, but that's not it.
<v Speaker 5>That's the that's what you put under your arm it.
<v Speaker 4>But it comes in the big bottle. It's kind of
<v Speaker 4>the stick no, no, no, no, my goodness. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 4>clearly had too much of this back in the day
<v Speaker 4>because I can't remember the name of it. The Really
<v Speaker 4>it comes at a tall bottle. It's kind of a
<v Speaker 4>sticky liquid. You light it up same.
<v Speaker 5>Book, Sam Booker, Yeah, yeah, the one that you light
<v Speaker 5>on the tee sprea, oh yeah, or you're light in
<v Speaker 5>the glass, which is the one that starts with tea. No, no,
<v Speaker 5>no no, maybe it is same Booker. I know there
<v Speaker 5>was no, no, no absent. There was something I remember.
<v Speaker 4>I was a kid, and it's just I don't know
<v Speaker 4>his memory. Just stay with me.
<v Speaker 5>And a bunch of Greek guys like getting ways of
<v Speaker 5>perhaps maybe and they go check this out. They get this,
<v Speaker 5>They brought the spirit light and it just catches on
<v Speaker 5>fire and I was like, why are you drinking this?
<v Speaker 4>Let me tell you a fun story about when guy
<v Speaker 4>was young and dumb. Yeah, I was hanging out with
<v Speaker 4>the saddie Steve. We used to enjoy a drink back
<v Speaker 4>in the day and we would get you know these
<v Speaker 4>bottles and Booker and have just you know a bit
<v Speaker 4>of pregaming.
<v Speaker 5>Just find the say same Booker, Sam Booker, Sam Booker.
<v Speaker 4>But you'd pour it a little shot glass and you'd
<v Speaker 4>light it up, and you know what tough game.
<v Speaker 5>Look at me, ladies except getting likely.
<v Speaker 4>There were no ladies around it this particular occasion, because
<v Speaker 4>I thought, well, I'll be even cooler littered. Did you
<v Speaker 4>get your pants? I didn't mean although you'd be given
<v Speaker 4>for yeah, you'd allow me that much. Given this case.
<v Speaker 4>But I thought, well, I'm gonna snuff it out with
<v Speaker 4>my hand, except there's Zambooka on the rim of the glass,
<v Speaker 4>so it sticks to my hand and forms a little bond.
<v Speaker 4>So I've got a burning shot of Zambooka concentrated on
<v Speaker 4>the palm of my head.
<v Speaker 5>Harry from home alone with the little McAllister doorhand.
<v Speaker 4>That's pretty much it. It was only there for like
<v Speaker 4>a few seconds. I realized, oh wait a minute, how
<v Speaker 4>ow that's hurting?
<v Speaker 5>But how long did the mark stay on a hand?
<v Speaker 4>For a little while I had a perfect burned circle
<v Speaker 4>on my power by being ridicular zam Booker fun stuff,
<v Speaker 4>but you know, not for kids. It's the Australian. Don't
<v Speaker 4>try it at home, all right? Yeah, that's all I've
<v Speaker 4>got to ask you.
<v Speaker 5>And you ask you one more. Who did mister Largo
<v Speaker 5>want to look like?
<v Speaker 4>Oh?
<v Speaker 5>Damn it, Julie somebody nemah Oh okay, I was about
<v Speaker 5>to say, kin.
<v Speaker 4>Who is Julie Newmar? Julie Newmar was she was the
<v Speaker 4>catwoman on on the TV series Batman. Was she the
<v Speaker 4>original one?
<v Speaker 6>Yeah?
<v Speaker 4>She's done a bunch of other stuff, but I think
<v Speaker 4>that might which she's best known for Okay, then a
<v Speaker 4>lot of great cat women back in the day. Was
<v Speaker 4>there really not just the one player that? Oh no,
<v Speaker 4>there was Lee mery Weather on Earth A Kit was
<v Speaker 4>Catwoman for a while. Okay.
<v Speaker 5>Then, yeah, I own every episode on Blue. I bought
<v Speaker 5>the box it because Jamie had a sale, buy one
<v Speaker 5>boxing at one free and I was like, it's gonna
<v Speaker 5>cost about twenty five dollars, I might as well do this.
<v Speaker 5>Gabe had a sale sale look at you, and I
<v Speaker 5>was just like one of these days. Because it used
<v Speaker 5>to be on really early in the mornings. I used
<v Speaker 5>to watch it and it was just fun because but
<v Speaker 5>it was just it was on before Rage, you know,
<v Speaker 5>so I'd put I'd put it on, all right, I'll
<v Speaker 5>have this on for like fifty minutes whilst Rage is
<v Speaker 5>about to start. I have no real memories of besides
<v Speaker 5>seeing them walk upper side of a wall.
<v Speaker 4>Sure were they great times when you you bought something
<v Speaker 4>a JB or you bought it on online or whatever.
<v Speaker 4>It's like, oh, I'm going to devote a bit of
<v Speaker 4>time to sitting down and watching the show from beginning
<v Speaker 4>to end that I've always enjoyed it. And then it's like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>wait a minute, I got no time to do that. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>I I my friend Matt, who lives in the States now.
<v Speaker 5>Every so often he comes back, usually twice a year,
<v Speaker 5>but sometimes once he comes back from America, it's the
<v Speaker 5>guy I bought. I said, do you want to bring
<v Speaker 5>some stuff? And will you bring back a hardcover novel?
<v Speaker 5>And I was like, probably not, it's probably too heavy.
<v Speaker 5>But he brought me back the shield Box set on
<v Speaker 5>blue ray, and that was eighteen months ago, and I
<v Speaker 5>were going, fuck once it's arriving and I watched.
<v Speaker 4>The shit out of this show.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, still sitting there, sealed on my shelf. He also
<v Speaker 5>the next time we came brought the Office complete, still
<v Speaker 5>sitting sealed on my shelf.
<v Speaker 4>I have things that I bought ten to fifteen years ago,
<v Speaker 4>maybe longer, still in the plastic.
<v Speaker 5>It's the idea of being able to watch them at
<v Speaker 5>some point. I like, once you've watched him, I was like, oh, now,
<v Speaker 5>now what are we going to watch. It's like the
<v Speaker 5>idea of going, well, I get to watch it sometime. Correct, Yeah, anyway,
<v Speaker 5>life of a yeah, but he's what we did watch instead.
<v Speaker 4>We did watch.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, Before we do that, though, we need to give
<v Speaker 5>some shout outs to some beloved stone starting with the

<v Speaker 4>Yes, with the people, we don't do this show. They
<v Speaker 4>are the pivotal reason, the primary reason, the main reason,
<v Speaker 4>the reason the.
<v Speaker 5>Show exists is because of you people. So thank you
<v Speaker 5>so much for supporting us here. And remember, if you

<v Speaker 5>figure scant family on the Tears lower than the stone Cutter,
<v Speaker 5>you get your name shouted out on the last episode
<v Speaker 5>of the month. All right, let's get into our review,
<v Speaker 5>shall we of inny teeny my mo. The original air
<v Speaker 5>date of this episode was April fifth, two thousand and nine.
<v Speaker 5>The number one film with the box office at this
<v Speaker 5>time was Fast and Furious. Oh oh yeah, that's That'd
<v Speaker 5>be the fourth one, Fast and Furious. Yeah, because the
<v Speaker 5>first one was the Fast.
<v Speaker 4>And there was a Fast and the Furious too, Fast
<v Speaker 4>and Furious, the Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift. Yeah, Fast
<v Speaker 4>and Furious Fast and that's so confusing, just Fast and Furious.
<v Speaker 4>It's only rivaled by the Rambo series. Yeah, because the
<v Speaker 4>first one is first Placebo, First Blood, Plart two, Rambo three,
<v Speaker 4>the Just Rambos, then Rambo, then Kip Presentable than Kid
<v Speaker 4>Moe now and then Rambo last Blood, and now I
<v Speaker 4>think they I've read the other day that someone was
<v Speaker 4>looking at doing Rambo need Blood. I read the other
<v Speaker 4>day that they we'll get someone was looking to do
<v Speaker 4>a pre call just called John Rambo. Okay, except the
<v Speaker 4>one that was just called Rambo was also called John Rainbo.
<v Speaker 5>So I remember as a kid being confused, going, so
<v Speaker 5>Rambo is not the first one?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so win him? Is it?
<v Speaker 5>So?
<v Speaker 4>Is Rambo three? Actually Rainbow two first split pap three?
<v Speaker 4>So so mad Max isn't what's going on here? Oh? Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>that whole We could go really deep down the rabbit
<v Speaker 4>hole on this, but instead let's talk about Yeah, what
<v Speaker 4>what was number two at the box office?
<v Speaker 5>Number two at the box offico? It was Monster's Vessus
<v Speaker 5>Aliens are still up there? And the Haunting in Connecticut
<v Speaker 5>was number three?
<v Speaker 4>Wow, Haunting Connecticut's got got some legs. Never heard it?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, never heard of it. Halting in Connecticut was number three?
<v Speaker 5>All right, So yeah, I said. April fifth, two thousand
<v Speaker 5>and nine, Production code LA b F zero six, Written
<v Speaker 5>by John Frink and directed by Nancy Cruz. Apparently this
<v Speaker 5>episode was nominated for some awards. John Frink was nominated
<v Speaker 5>for a Writer's Guild of America Award in the Animation
<v Speaker 5>category in twenty ten for writing the episode The Simpsons
<v Speaker 5>was the only show to be nominated in the category,
<v Speaker 5>all the other nominated episodes being The Burns and the Bees,
<v Speaker 5>Take My Life, Please, Got Maggie Gone?
<v Speaker 4>And Wedding for Disaster. The last one was the winner.
<v Speaker 4>Of course.
<v Speaker 5>I was gonna say, how could Wedding for Disaster not
<v Speaker 5>win at all? Right? I mean I enjoyed God making
<v Speaker 5>Gone for the That was the one where she goes missing, right, Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>it was like the title would imply that, yes, but
<v Speaker 5>it was the one where it was the like the
<v Speaker 5>treasure hunt kind of thing. That's yes, yeah, it was
<v Speaker 5>the the film, the book, the fucking Tom Hanks was
<v Speaker 5>in it.
<v Speaker 4>What's it called? Uh? Castaway? Yes? But the Venities.
<v Speaker 5>How can it be a thing where the one show
<v Speaker 5>is the only show nominated in the category. It was
<v Speaker 5>a numb of that animated shows that yeah, what the hell?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah? How does that work?
<v Speaker 5>But was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for
<v Speaker 5>Outstanding Voice of a Performance for his role as Moe
<v Speaker 5>in this episode, but lost to fellow Simpson's Cast Mender
<v Speaker 5>cast member Dan Castelenetta for Father Knows Worst.
<v Speaker 4>We haven't been that episode yet, so hopefully that one's
<v Speaker 4>a good one as well. But yes so.
<v Speaker 5>Written by John Frick, as I said, directed by Nancy Cruz.
<v Speaker 5>The episode kicks off do we get a couch? Do
<v Speaker 5>we get a catch game? We don't get talk, we don't.
<v Speaker 4>Get a board gag, but we do get a couch.
<v Speaker 4>I actually didn't mind the couch gag.
<v Speaker 5>In this one. The family is drawn in on a
<v Speaker 5>series of animation cells they flip down onto the Screenhomer's
<v Speaker 5>naked until March pulls down one last sheet and it's
<v Speaker 5>his clothes. Goodness back when actually animated with cells. I'm
<v Speaker 5>sure they do that anymore. It's all the computer. So
<v Speaker 5>the episode kicks off with Homer watching the hockey. Maggy
<v Speaker 5>wants to him to read Pack the Bunny the book,
<v Speaker 5>but he's too interested in watching the important mid Atlantic
<v Speaker 5>Hockey League Conference semifinal do over game. It's in its
<v Speaker 5>seventh overtime. Is the sesame Street on ice carricters are
<v Speaker 5>waiting to get on, but basically it's just taking the
<v Speaker 5>mickeyut of hockey, saying games go forever.
<v Speaker 4>Indeed, and a lot of good natured ribbing of Canadians
<v Speaker 4>as well. I mean ice hockey. I mean it's a
<v Speaker 4>very North American sport, but I think Canadians tend to
<v Speaker 4>enjoy it a bit more than Yes. Indeed, yeah, as
<v Speaker 4>our paler Pat Right would probably explain to us.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, but although he also likes football, he's like the
<v Speaker 5>star quarterback of his town.
<v Speaker 4>Well, of course he is. It's is very alpha male,
<v Speaker 4>he is, indeed. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>Marge turns it off though, and she says, you're specially
<v Speaker 5>spending time with your daughter, you know, not watching hockey,
<v Speaker 5>and he says, I will when it's not sports season, joping,
<v Speaker 5>It's always sports season. Four figure discount is brought to

<v Speaker 5>actually taking the kids for Elliott's birthday, part of his
<v Speaker 5>president of taking them to see Disney on ice in Melbourne.
<v Speaker 4>He can go one of two ways.
<v Speaker 5>They can either really enjoy the fact that they're seeing
<v Speaker 5>all these Disney characters on ice, or they could be
<v Speaker 5>bored shitless just watching people skating around.
<v Speaker 4>I feel like one of the sort of tricks they're
<v Speaker 4>going to be doing, whether you know, do the pin wheel.
<v Speaker 5>But there's only so many tricks you can do, right,
<v Speaker 5>how many tricks for snow white possibly do on skates?
<v Speaker 5>We shall soon find out. Yeah, And the problem is
<v Speaker 5>I showed them like a quick click on YouTube of
<v Speaker 5>what it might look like, and that one had McQueen.
<v Speaker 5>Isn't it like McQueen?
<v Speaker 4>Oh okay fuck.
<v Speaker 5>If this one doesn't have light McQueen or Alei's gonna worry.
<v Speaker 4>But it's like McQueen. So he just goes McQueen, doesn't
<v Speaker 4>say like the McQueen, just is McQueen McQueen? Yeah, wow,
<v Speaker 4>okay cow.
<v Speaker 5>But he puts the He puts on the TV again
<v Speaker 5>to check the score, but it's over and they don't
<v Speaker 5>say the score. I actually had a an example of
<v Speaker 5>this going. We're walking back from the movies yesterday and
<v Speaker 5>we're walking past the Sporting Globe and we wanted to
<v Speaker 5>see the score of the football was almost finished. It
<v Speaker 5>was Collingwood versus Melbourne ten minutes ago. And we're looking
<v Speaker 5>through the window and they're just showing replayoff, the replay out,
<v Speaker 5>the replay, and I'm.
<v Speaker 4>Like, did we just in the fucking score? Nicholas like,
<v Speaker 4>hurry up. I'm like waiting for the score.
<v Speaker 5>Homie here is waiting for the score. They don't tell it.
<v Speaker 5>They just sort of say what's coming up next to
<v Speaker 5>yad YadA, yadda.
<v Speaker 4>He says, you're very akin to Wow, I'll never let
<v Speaker 4>her show that one again.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, said I'll never know the score, as he's hitting
<v Speaker 5>his lap top of various websites saying they know the score.
<v Speaker 5>I can actually buy into Homer still being in the
<v Speaker 5>mentality of because he grew up in the era where
<v Speaker 5>you didn't get to go on the internet, right, Yes,
<v Speaker 5>having the mentality of well if I don't if the
<v Speaker 5>TV doesn't tell me, I'm never going to know. I
<v Speaker 5>can believe Homer, a nine year old guy in two
<v Speaker 5>thousand and I would still not think I'll go on
<v Speaker 5>the internet to check. Yeah, but do you have memories
<v Speaker 5>because when I was a kid, increasingly fewer, But yeah,
<v Speaker 5>go ahead. Even though I was a kid in the nineties,
<v Speaker 5>we didn't have the internet, right, So if you want
<v Speaker 5>to know the footy score, either had to turn on
<v Speaker 5>the radio or wait for the news to give you
<v Speaker 5>an update that's right, or sometimes you might remember this.
<v Speaker 5>You'd watch the footy and they go if you don't
<v Speaker 5>want to score, look away now, and had to play
<v Speaker 5>that song right on the tip of do you remember.
<v Speaker 4>That by Diesels? Always whenever I hear that song, I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>it's the footy score. It was well played by yeah,
<v Speaker 4>whichever channel was doing at the time, usually Channel seven. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>And this other guy, I think his name was Scotty.
<v Speaker 5>Someone had the glasses on, Scott Palmer. Scott Palmer. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>he'd be given the updates to be like, I don't
<v Speaker 5>know scores, look away now right on.
<v Speaker 4>The tip Martin palms plant good sports journey that guy
<v Speaker 4>was he?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, Yeah, So Marge then says I'll tell you the score,
<v Speaker 5>and he's like, always gonna be high point of our marriage.
<v Speaker 5>If you tell me this hockey score. She says, no,
<v Speaker 5>your daughter barely knows you. And he disagrees, and he says,
<v Speaker 5>come to daddy, And she goes to Santa's Little Helper
<v Speaker 5>and he's actually good with her. He takes her outside.
<v Speaker 5>We'll change the nappy. You can change the nappy. Yeah, YadA, YadA, yadda.
<v Speaker 5>But the homer is taking Maggie in the pram as
<v Speaker 5>we call it here in Australia, not the stroller, the pram.
<v Speaker 6>Look, Merge, it's just what you want me, spending the
<v Speaker 6>day with muggsy Maggie. Marge, you're not naggy. You just
<v Speaker 6>set the bar impossibly high?
<v Speaker 4>Can you always bring a sweater from Eddie?
<v Speaker 6>Impossibly high?
<v Speaker 5>Feels a bit King of Queens, it does, indeed. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>not to throw Kevin under the bus or something like
<v Speaker 5>that stereotypical sitcom gag, isn't it You.
<v Speaker 4>Can substitute according to Jim or something like that. But yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>that kind of show.
<v Speaker 5>Where the guy doesn't deserve. It's always fat obnoxious husband.
<v Speaker 5>I wouldn't say that, King Quinsno, but fat husband with
<v Speaker 5>smoking babe of a wife.
<v Speaker 4>Why does she put up with it? Dad? Bought them
<v Speaker 4>hot wife. Yeah, why was that? Why was that the thing?
<v Speaker 5>It's why is that the thing? Why is that always
<v Speaker 5>the go to? Is it because our guys can relate and.
<v Speaker 4>Guys can relate. And I don't mean this to sound
<v Speaker 4>I don't mean this in a bad way. Women can
<v Speaker 4>feel morally superior. I can have a bit vicarious moral superior.
<v Speaker 4>It's like, that's just like my husband.
<v Speaker 5>It's either fat husband or dumb husband. Sometimes both nuts
<v Speaker 5>and gum to get it last. But they go for
<v Speaker 5>their little day of first of all sands to help.
<v Speaker 5>It brings the milk and it's cold whatever. But then
<v Speaker 5>they go on their little daddy door to day and
<v Speaker 5>they go to lad Lads. I don't really like Maggie's
<v Speaker 5>just having a big smile on her face looking up,
<v Speaker 5>but a dad, You've got a donut in the hand.
<v Speaker 5>And they arrive at the car park that's is reserved
<v Speaker 5>for Homer Simpson. This is where he goes every single morning,
<v Speaker 5>and it turns out to be Mo's. So there was
<v Speaker 5>one question about this episode. So is how am I
<v Speaker 5>going to Moe's every day and spending the day there?
<v Speaker 5>What's he doing with Maggie when he goes he's not
<v Speaker 5>going to work.
<v Speaker 4>What's the story. Well, as you said earlier, yeah, continuity
<v Speaker 4>is not really does he have a job for the
<v Speaker 4>purpose of this episode, for the purpose of this twenty
<v Speaker 4>two minutes, No, no he does.
<v Speaker 5>No, he does not for the purpose of this story. No,
<v Speaker 5>his job in this episode is looking after Maggie. Yes,
<v Speaker 5>so he takes it, tells her to learn her numbers
<v Speaker 5>by playing with the billiard balls on the table. You
<v Speaker 5>do that whilst, I'll get happier and happier and then
<v Speaker 5>sadder and sadder, which is usually how it goes when
<v Speaker 5>you're drinking. The thing is, though, we are another one
<v Speaker 5>of those distraction scenes because Moe's talking to Homer just
<v Speaker 5>after that, and Meggan's in the background, like juggling the
<v Speaker 5>billiard balls, and it's like just filling space for the
<v Speaker 5>second filling space. It is distracting. I again had to
<v Speaker 5>push Paus and go back and I'm like, I wasn't
<v Speaker 5>listening to them, I was watching her. But Moe discovers
<v Speaker 5>is cleaning the place up, and misdiscovers there's a window here,
<v Speaker 5>so it's a dirty wall. It's actually a window behind
<v Speaker 5>the dirty wall. The grime and it's to a playground outside,
<v Speaker 5>and it says Megane, you can go outside there whilst
<v Speaker 5>I'm in here drinking her first enabling then the barfls
<v Speaker 5>I go kick out of all the bar flires, just
<v Speaker 5>chatting to Maggie.
<v Speaker 4>Hey, it's ok.
<v Speaker 5>It's kind of like when my kids arrive home. They
<v Speaker 5>see the cats my kids have. They are not able
<v Speaker 5>to see a cat and not want to try and
<v Speaker 5>pick it up. The cats see the kids now and
<v Speaker 5>just run in fear.
<v Speaker 4>Some adults are like that, as Dandols does whenever I
<v Speaker 4>come over to record. It's like, okay, before we hit record,
<v Speaker 4>I got to go pick up these kittens.
<v Speaker 5>And one of the I'm just like being picked up,
<v Speaker 5>and guys like, she will you picked up? She's like,
<v Speaker 5>and you're like, just shut up and enjoy the cuddle.
<v Speaker 4>My seduction technique since goodness knows when.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, but they're all waving to make it outside the
<v Speaker 5>window whatnot. They're all distracted by her. They're not listening
<v Speaker 5>to mo. So he fires a shotgun. He explains why
<v Speaker 5>why he is cleaning the joint up.
<v Speaker 4>I do I do enjoy that kind of passive aggressive Hey,
<v Speaker 4>ask me what's going on? I suppose you guys are
<v Speaker 4>wondering why I'm still cleaning the bar.
<v Speaker 5>But now he explains that on Friday night, he's usual
<v Speaker 5>fire night. He's at the public library, just surfing the
<v Speaker 5>internet with the occasional water break of warm and rusty
<v Speaker 5>water from the drink tap, and he found an intelligence
<v Speaker 5>sophisticated woman who hadn't heard all he's not not joke.
<v Speaker 1>Orange who all right, more give it a punchline, nice
<v Speaker 1>and easy, Orange, You glad I didn't say banana. The
<v Speaker 1>gargoyle has landed.
<v Speaker 5>This is like they go to knock not joke. When
<v Speaker 5>you're a kid, it's the first one you say, and
<v Speaker 5>you don't quite understand. When you're a kid, you don't
<v Speaker 5>quite get why it's funny. But people laugh when you
<v Speaker 5>say it, and you're like, allright, I'm gonna say this
<v Speaker 5>all the time, don't you got it? I didn't say banana.
<v Speaker 5>Orange Glad, it didn't say banana. Everyone says this gaggle
<v Speaker 5>is once in their life, right.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's not that great. That's not great.
<v Speaker 5>But and you know, when the kid's doing it, you're like, ah,
<v Speaker 5>you're doing the orange gag.
<v Speaker 4>I'll go with it. I'll roll with it. Yeah, let
<v Speaker 4>him feel like that. Let's not you cut this kid
<v Speaker 4>off at the knees. You know they may turn into
<v Speaker 4>you know, Jim Carry or Romin Whim somewhere down the line. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>And if you snuff that flame out with like come
<v Speaker 4>up with better material, kid, then like, oh yeah, they'll
<v Speaker 4>never be funny again.
<v Speaker 5>There was one Ali got me the other day, like
<v Speaker 5>genuinely got me. He goes, not knock, can guess who's there?
<v Speaker 4>Boo boo?
<v Speaker 5>Who don't cry, it's just a duke.
<v Speaker 4>And I was like, no, bad, solid, solid, good delivery.
<v Speaker 5>I'm like, you know what, kid, I didn't see that
<v Speaker 5>one coming got me?
<v Speaker 4>Or you got me the dad?
<v Speaker 5>What's your name? I went, Brendan, what's this? No, what's
<v Speaker 5>in my hand?
<v Speaker 4>Nothing? Brendan nothing, and then runs off and I'm like,
<v Speaker 4>you little shit ed you got me again. It's like
<v Speaker 4>hook line and sinker that he ran off. That's good.
<v Speaker 4>Always leave them more, They're always leave them wanting more.
<v Speaker 5>Indeed, But I did find it quite charming and sweet
<v Speaker 5>that Moe was using the orange of banana, not not.
<v Speaker 5>You know, he's so I know, what's the term, he's
<v Speaker 5>so out of practice with dating and whatnot. It's just
<v Speaker 5>like he's just going to refer to things going by
<v Speaker 5>the rule book. You know, he heard some you know,
<v Speaker 5>some pick up artist tips about you know, be funny. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>you don't have to be handsome, you don't have to
<v Speaker 5>be you know the.
<v Speaker 4>Six six six of six feet, six pack, six figure
<v Speaker 4>and gum just make him laugh a little. The whole
<v Speaker 4>little serve you well in your in your future relationship.
<v Speaker 4>So with the body knows that knock joke.
<v Speaker 5>One of the things Nichola says, one thing I always
<v Speaker 5>found charming about you was from the get go you
<v Speaker 5>weren't afraid to just use dad jokes. She's like, that
<v Speaker 5>were so bad, But I just loved you for it
<v Speaker 5>because you're just like you just didn't care.
<v Speaker 4>That's just didn't know any better jokes material.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, yeah, but he says, the gargoyle haslandic because she
<v Speaker 5>likes the joke. He says he's funny, and he checks
<v Speaker 5>that she's not just some creepy guy in the library
<v Speaker 5>much like he is. But he says, there's creepy A
<v Speaker 5>guy next to him turns out to be a crazy
<v Speaker 5>cat lady. She says, you know, I'm not a guy
<v Speaker 5>a woman. We have a cat together. She had babies.
<v Speaker 5>He's one of them. Now I've got this is me
<v Speaker 5>when Mo's talking about just going somewhere to go on
<v Speaker 5>the internet. We couldn't afford the internet when the first
<v Speaker 5>was a thing, right, you know, just didn't have a computer,
<v Speaker 5>couldn't afford it. And so I'd go to my uncle
<v Speaker 5>Darren's house because he had the Internet, and it's like
<v Speaker 5>so cool, you know, you dial up, and he'd go
<v Speaker 5>to bed and nap, and I'm like, I'm going to
<v Speaker 5>the Internet for a couple of hours. And I remember
<v Speaker 5>the first things I looked up was I was Big
<v Speaker 5>Wrestling Fantasy. There was a wrestler called Caine. I was like,
<v Speaker 5>came without his mask and I was like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 5>that's him without his mask on the Internet's amazing. And
<v Speaker 5>of course, as you're you know, you're twelve year kid,
<v Speaker 5>lookup naked ladies. The problem was I didn't understand the
<v Speaker 5>idea of a browsing history. And then Na Darian like
<v Speaker 5>later on, come over whatever, and he's like, so Stephanie mmahn, Hey,
<v Speaker 5>Stephanie mumhann sable. I was like, yeah, they're leading wrestler's
<v Speaker 5>like yeah, look good with their clothes on. I was like,
<v Speaker 5>oh no, uncle, oh no. But I think my dad
<v Speaker 5>wasn't angry. It was just like, thank, well, he's looking
<v Speaker 5>at naked ladies.
<v Speaker 4>That's at least. It wasn't like Cain naked. Caine without
<v Speaker 4>his mask, came without his pace. There's anything wrong with that? Well?
<v Speaker 5>No, of course, I think my dad was more proud
<v Speaker 5>than angry. But most of he would do anything to
<v Speaker 5>chat to Maya except by a computer himself. And he
<v Speaker 5>sends she sends him a pick of her and actually
<v Speaker 5>of my favorite moments, dare I click?
<v Speaker 4>No, I dances?
<v Speaker 5>Yes, I dance, and then he clicks on it. She's
<v Speaker 5>the photo from Lego Land. She looks she's beautiful and
<v Speaker 5>in proportion. Yeah, and he shows the guys. That seems
<v Speaker 5>like a really mean thing to say, and in proportion.
<v Speaker 5>He shows the guy the photo and there's now he's
<v Speaker 5>turned to send the photo. He gives it the old
<v Speaker 5>two thousand and Night photoshop job. At first, then he
<v Speaker 5>realized you can't build a relationship on a lie. The
<v Speaker 5>lies come later. Yeah, great line.
<v Speaker 4>I did enjoy that.
<v Speaker 5>And she thinks he's cute and he's just dancing around.
<v Speaker 5>He's all happy, and I felt felt good for Mo.
<v Speaker 5>He's being honest and she likes him.
<v Speaker 4>He's saying a bit of the old Lewis Carroll stuff.
<v Speaker 1>Kelley, Yeah, mose radfree, Devin, Oh well hey you mij
<v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, Homer's here or you want Homer.
<v Speaker 4>I'm sorry, I thought you.
<v Speaker 1>Meant Himler Heinrich Himmler, you know the guy who invented
<v Speaker 1>the Heimlich manure. Two different people with a boat here,
<v Speaker 1>and neither one is your husband. This press conference is over.
<v Speaker 5>We cut to Maggie outside being threatened by her new friends.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, the evil.
<v Speaker 5>Evil babies, evil baby gang. So explain to me, is
<v Speaker 5>this a playground or a daycare? Sen, I don't know,
<v Speaker 5>a random outside area where this baby's unattended. That's what
<v Speaker 5>the hell is going with no attendance, There are no adults.
<v Speaker 5>Adults are the ones the barflies watching from that.
<v Speaker 4>She's fucking random babies in an outdoor playground. I couldn't
<v Speaker 4>work out what was going on here, not a whole
<v Speaker 4>what happened other than Maggie was just the target of
<v Speaker 4>these baby bullies. Opened to the Chinese restaurant that was
<v Speaker 4>next door. I got no idea. Man, it was outside
<v Speaker 4>that window. Now, what the hell in this episode? Is
<v Speaker 4>just out several windows.
<v Speaker 5>But she's burrowing her head into her daddy assigned her
<v Speaker 5>baby's baby is happy and confident. Of course, the opposite
<v Speaker 5>MOA was then cleaning himself up. He's putting beer in
<v Speaker 5>his hair and his snaps under his arm. She arrives
<v Speaker 5>at eight oh three as opposed to eight is calling
<v Speaker 5>her a liar, and he she's revealed to be a
<v Speaker 5>little person.
<v Speaker 1>Oh you're a little person. I know, I'm sorry, I
<v Speaker 1>didn't mean that. What's the correct term?
<v Speaker 3>Little person?
<v Speaker 4>Whoa look at me being played?
<v Speaker 5>And he quickly removes the dwarf tossing banner and the
<v Speaker 5>Little Women book We come out from commercial and Moe asks,
<v Speaker 5>is this you know? This is Benjamin Button kind of
<v Speaker 5>deal as you were mentioning earlier. He says, your picture
<v Speaker 5>made you look more life sized, and she said took
<v Speaker 5>out Lego land because she was not confident either. She
<v Speaker 5>was worried that he might like not like the real her,
<v Speaker 5>and he says, no, you're the best thing ever coming
<v Speaker 5>to this. Barbecides the cable, which and I'm not gonna
<v Speaker 5>stealing you from the Chinese restaurant next door, and as
<v Speaker 5>we get the reference to the Chinese guy, I think
<v Speaker 5>he says, I see you're watching ESPN or whatever.
<v Speaker 4>You never did any sort of online dating, did you
<v Speaker 4>mean you?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 4>No, not online I think.
<v Speaker 5>As a joke when I was like a teenager, we
<v Speaker 5>made fake profiles and I was getting like I felt
<v Speaker 5>bad upward because like I was getting genuine like late
<v Speaker 5>thirty year olds going hey, we should catch up, and
<v Speaker 5>I'm like, I'm sorry, no thanks, Like I just do
<v Speaker 5>I reply?
<v Speaker 4>What do I do? I felt bade the song? Why
<v Speaker 4>do you have to be such a heartbreaker?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, I know right, No, you go, I did it
<v Speaker 5>a bit and not when I chat to girls on
<v Speaker 5>like MSN, Messenger and stuff.
<v Speaker 4>But I didn't. That's not really online date.
<v Speaker 5>It's not online day not. But Nick and I were
<v Speaker 5>together before Tinder was a thing. Yes, I still don't
<v Speaker 5>understand whether swipe left is swipe right, which I always
<v Speaker 5>keep messing that up as well. Luckily I've got it
<v Speaker 5>right the first time because I still swipe if you
<v Speaker 5>I'm swiping swiped right withou.
<v Speaker 4>I think if you swipe right, that's that's a positive,
<v Speaker 4>that's like, oh yes, because if you're swipe why left,
<v Speaker 4>that you're just sillt of going through the pages of like.
<v Speaker 5>And whit takes more effort. I guess, God, we're really.
<v Speaker 4>Showing our age here. I mean, but let's just double check.
<v Speaker 5>What's we're showing that we're happily together in a relationship.
<v Speaker 4>It is not you and I, but well indicate that
<v Speaker 4>one finds someone attractive by moving one finger to the
<v Speaker 4>right across then image of them on a touch screen.
<v Speaker 4>He's the quote I swiped right, but sadly for me,
<v Speaker 4>she swiped left. Oh so yes, if you if you
<v Speaker 4>swipe right, I was like that downer, he's a swipe right.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah that means and I'm like, wow, what he left?
<v Speaker 4>But what I'm what I was leading to was, you know,
<v Speaker 4>you tend to put your best foot forward or your
<v Speaker 4>best face forward, shall we say? I mean you look
<v Speaker 4>through all your selfies and various lands like, ah, that's
<v Speaker 4>a good angle. Oh it looks like I've only got
<v Speaker 4>one chin in that one, or I've got my angles.
<v Speaker 5>Just right and titter profile has to be Apparently if
<v Speaker 5>you put a Simpson's reference in there, it goes a
<v Speaker 5>long way for getting people like our age.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that's what we heard from our pow, Jordan Mulman.
<v Speaker 4>Richie that right now he's married. Yeah oh yeah as
<v Speaker 4>a result, yeah, living in Finland. Got a horse, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>hung like one, but I didn't go that far. But
<v Speaker 4>tell me about his Pets's got a horse the horse.

<v Speaker 5>how Mog says, I'm getting the car seat and you think,
<v Speaker 5>oh no, no ah, he took it out to save
<v Speaker 5>on the save petrol, save gas as he calls it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>he's gonna put it in now because they're going to
<v Speaker 5>do the town.
<v Speaker 4>And oh it's nice.
<v Speaker 5>So he goes to Luigi's, who reveals here that he
<v Speaker 5>changed his name to Moe to save three hundred dollars
<v Speaker 5>on the sign of Mos. But then Luigi doesn't see
<v Speaker 5>her at first, thinks at the table for one face
<v Speaker 5>in the wall. He says, no, Oh, she's so beautiful,
<v Speaker 5>but so far away. It's like, that's awkward. But now
<v Speaker 5>the third base points and they're having a big, big
<v Speaker 5>smooth She says he's a good kisser. He says he
<v Speaker 5>practices his kissing by siphoning gas out of other cars.
<v Speaker 5>He never tasted super premium anywhere half as good as.
<v Speaker 4>Her is mostly kicking goals. I would I would say.
<v Speaker 5>I think, and I do like the fact that they
<v Speaker 5>have rekindled great thirteen seasons later, but they're now engaged.
<v Speaker 5>To me, I think Mo deserves happiness. This is exactly
<v Speaker 5>what he's proven that he can. But he's a romantic,
<v Speaker 5>nice guy.
<v Speaker 4>That is precisely what I wrote in my notes. I
<v Speaker 4>said Moe does deserve to be happy. Yep. Yeah, he's
<v Speaker 4>very curmudginally, but I think, you know, essentially he's got
<v Speaker 4>a good heart.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, we've seen enough positives from Monou to know that well,
<v Speaker 5>first of all, him and my they work well together.
<v Speaker 5>I kind of really, I was kind of sad when
<v Speaker 5>it ended. I went, ah, would have been nice if
<v Speaker 5>they stayed together. Mo deserves it's a nice change for
<v Speaker 5>the character, a bit of happiness in his life.
<v Speaker 4>But as we said, it is a nice learning curve
<v Speaker 4>for learning curve theing. That's that's precisely the right way
<v Speaker 4>of saying it.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so Moe's now happy at the bar. So he's
<v Speaker 5>never felt like this before, Like his heart wants to
<v Speaker 5>do her and they all want to meet her. But
<v Speaker 5>then he has the vision of them pushing around in
<v Speaker 5>like the little trolley or whatever, and bucket, bucket, that's
<v Speaker 5>it's not bucket, that's what it is. Yeah, And he says,
<v Speaker 5>how would you treat someone who's dyna mine? But they're
<v Speaker 5>a little bit different, And they said, what do you mean?
<v Speaker 5>Like Homer, how he can't remember limericks and they mock
<v Speaker 5>him for it. He starts crying and was like, well,
<v Speaker 5>I'm not going to be doing this then, well, yes, exactly.
<v Speaker 4>Sem pretty cruel, I mean, especially when it's pretty hard
<v Speaker 4>to remember aabba dumbass. Yeah, that's the Limerick structure.
<v Speaker 5>Meanwhile, the babies are outside having a fighting ritual where
<v Speaker 5>they got the drums going, and Kearney's son's about to
<v Speaker 5>beat up Maggie. Is this where he comes in with
<v Speaker 5>the bottles or is that a I think it might
<v Speaker 5>be a different time, this one where he shits in
<v Speaker 5>his nappy? Did you see that bit? So he's coming
<v Speaker 5>in for the kill and he sort of pauses for
<v Speaker 5>a second and goes relieves. You're like, that's right, shit's
<v Speaker 5>his nappy. I'm like, I appreciate that. And then because
<v Speaker 5>that kid's got a shit, Oh.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, absolutely yeah. I was watching one of my trashy
<v Speaker 4>rally shows the other night, this one about a polyamorous
<v Speaker 4>family raising and now they've just had a baby. No
<v Speaker 4>one knows who the father is, not having kids myself
<v Speaker 4>and only sort of doing cursory baby city duties. This
<v Speaker 4>kid just went it just did a fart that just
<v Speaker 4>or it was taking a shit that just seemed to
<v Speaker 4>go forever, like a good ten second. It's like Donald
<v Speaker 4>Luck style, Holy moly, and then followed by imagine how
<v Speaker 4>to change that? I can only imagine. I only want
<v Speaker 4>to thee I will only ever imagine it. That's correct,
<v Speaker 4>i'ven't changed that many nappies in my life. I haven't
<v Speaker 4>you Okay, no, I did it. I did a few
<v Speaker 4>four uh my sister's kids, and I was like, it's
<v Speaker 4>always an issue. That's a lot of shit.
<v Speaker 5>It's always an issue. Until you get ship on your hand.
<v Speaker 5>Once you been, Once you had shit on your hand,
<v Speaker 5>You're like, oh, it's done. Okay, Yeah, it's not that bad.
<v Speaker 5>It's like getting COVID. It's like, okay, well I got
<v Speaker 5>it now. Yeah, seal has been broken. But Homer arrives,
<v Speaker 5>rescues Maggie once again, doesn't realize he's rescuing her. He's
<v Speaker 5>just but he does there. So just prior mo Moe's
<v Speaker 5>was full, I assumed it. I thought it was nighttime
<v Speaker 5>because everyone's there, Homer's crying, and then the next scene,
<v Speaker 5>Meggie's outside in daylight being I can see this.
<v Speaker 4>Episode must have really frustrated. No, no, no, I mean
<v Speaker 4>not in a bad way, but with all these sort
<v Speaker 4>of continuity errors and what's going on.
<v Speaker 5>And that's the thing. Watching the episode, I didn't think
<v Speaker 5>about it. Doing the review, going to run through, I'm like, what,
<v Speaker 5>it doesn't make sense, But like watching it, I didn't
<v Speaker 5>think about it.
<v Speaker 4>Sign of a good story.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so Homer is rescued it once again, as I said,
<v Speaker 5>and he says, should be back tomorrow. Don't worry, guys.
<v Speaker 5>So Maggie then she's not gonna eat. She's feeling scared.
<v Speaker 5>Bart plays the tune on the bong, goes the same
<v Speaker 5>way to try and soothe it and relax and try
<v Speaker 5>and eat her dinner. Marge us what's up with her?
<v Speaker 5>To Homer and he's like, I don't know. You've been
<v Speaker 5>spending so much time with it. No I haven't. Oh, yes,
<v Speaker 5>that's what you think I am. Then we see the
<v Speaker 5>ad for the prying I surveillance And the only thing
<v Speaker 5>better than us watching your children is you watching your children.
<v Speaker 5>We know that's not gonna happen. Have you ever been
<v Speaker 5>Uh there's a spider, baby monitors and nanny cams. We
<v Speaker 5>had the baby monitor because it's just it's essentially yeah,
<v Speaker 5>so you see what you kids doing when you're in bed.
<v Speaker 5>I've never had spy cams or anything like that. I mean,
<v Speaker 5>the ones I've got installed, I haven't gone to collect yet.
<v Speaker 5>But oh okay, so oh god. No baby cams, just
<v Speaker 5>you know, cams hidden showers and what not. Basically, so mate,
<v Speaker 5>Marge's hired or high. She's ordered this by Cam to
<v Speaker 5>put in Maggie's little what's it called the boat and
<v Speaker 5>her hair so she can spy on why Maggie is
<v Speaker 5>feeling so sad? What's going on with Maggie? Then Mo
<v Speaker 5>drops off my after another date. Looks at the tree.
<v Speaker 5>It's a bit small in there, right, And you didn't
<v Speaker 5>think I really think I lived in a tree?
<v Speaker 4>Right?
<v Speaker 5>A lot of people live in trees. Tarzan Benstein bears
<v Speaker 5>flood victims, like.
<v Speaker 4>A lot of stuff in this episode, Like, huh, HiT's
<v Speaker 4>different twenty five? Yeah it does.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so she I like this, right, She takes her
<v Speaker 5>shoes and socks off, and she gives me the remote
<v Speaker 5>for the TV. I'm like, that to me is a
<v Speaker 5>sign of, you know, welcome to my home. You've got
<v Speaker 5>the control of the television. Yeah, it's just it seems basic.
<v Speaker 5>But given the guy the remote, that's a that's cool.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I like that, you know.
<v Speaker 5>She's you put something on TV, turns it on. Unfortunately
<v Speaker 5>it's Willie Wonka and the op Olympics. So he turns
<v Speaker 5>that off and she wonders, why haven't you ever introduced
<v Speaker 5>me to your friends, and so he suggests a double
<v Speaker 5>date with the Simpsons because they're the least judgmental, and
<v Speaker 5>then she just what do you think this bit where
<v Speaker 5>she pretends to be a doll?
<v Speaker 4>I thought it was funny, but so random. It was
<v Speaker 4>very random. It came out of nowhere. I think when
<v Speaker 4>I saw that, it felt like they were mocking that
<v Speaker 4>felt it felt like, you know, she's got a bit
<v Speaker 4>of self aware well, yes, it's actually yeah, a willingness
<v Speaker 4>to sort of look, yeah, this is the situation. We
<v Speaker 4>might as well have as much fun with it as
<v Speaker 4>we can, which is why a little later on, admittedly
<v Speaker 4>mo overdoes it when he starts, you know, reeling off
<v Speaker 4>the the little person gags or the size related gags.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not trying to victim blame or anything like that,
<v Speaker 4>but because mo isn't he is in the wrong, or
<v Speaker 4>he overdoes it at the very least. But I was
<v Speaker 4>kind of like, you open the door here, you know,
<v Speaker 4>you sort of said, well, okay.
<v Speaker 5>Well if he left it at the first joke though,
<v Speaker 5>because she says little little woman and he gets as
<v Speaker 5>long as he's like a small wedding and she laughs,
<v Speaker 5>and then he just keeps going and going. Yeah, that's true,
<v Speaker 5>but that's yea, as I said.
<v Speaker 4>That's just over overegging the pudding, because you know, I
<v Speaker 4>think once you I alluded to this before, when you
<v Speaker 4>when you're in a stage in a relationship, it's like,
<v Speaker 4>oh we can we can poke under each other, you know,
<v Speaker 4>one of always say it's like the first part is
<v Speaker 4>more important than the first kiss. You know, oh we're relaxed. Yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 4>And it's.
<v Speaker 5>Like, oh, you do do that thing best, just drop
<v Speaker 5>it on the first date and to see what happens.
<v Speaker 4>And then there's no second dy based on how I
<v Speaker 4>find Plus you're blacklisted from Tinder. Uh. Again, not to
<v Speaker 4>not to blame Myra, say that she's in the wrong
<v Speaker 4>and everything like that, but it's like, oh, you you
<v Speaker 4>sort of gave us some indications like no.
<v Speaker 5>This is not a no go area, but yeah, modus
<v Speaker 5>goes too deep, goes too deep into the But they
<v Speaker 5>arrive at the Simpsons house and Homer has a mechanical question.
<v Speaker 6>Perhaps this is inappropriate, but I have a mechanical question
<v Speaker 6>while the kids are out of the room that I
<v Speaker 6>can't help wondering about. In a nuclear power plant, just
<v Speaker 6>how is nuclear energy turned into electricity.
<v Speaker 4>If I remember my high school physics, the controlled nuclear
<v Speaker 4>reaction creates steam which powers a turbine.
<v Speaker 6>Man, old man slapper ring on that.
<v Speaker 5>I really liked Homer's, you know, put a slapper ring
<v Speaker 5>on that. Even Homer, you know, the the goofball. He's
<v Speaker 5>not robbed by her height.
<v Speaker 4>He recognizes the value, yeah, the value of.
<v Speaker 5>Her for who she is exactly. And Marge then takes
<v Speaker 5>out the DVD. I'm assuming, so, how the fuck does
<v Speaker 5>this work so that they they record it and then
<v Speaker 5>you got to send it away and they send you
<v Speaker 5>back a DVD of the footage.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I think I think we're a little further along
<v Speaker 4>in the whole DVD technology thing at this stage.
<v Speaker 5>But look that doesn't make so you so records it
<v Speaker 5>to the camera, but then you're got to send that
<v Speaker 5>camera away and they send you back a DVD.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I guess the USB cables and all that kind
<v Speaker 4>of stuff went again. Okay, how much fucking timer transport? Anyway,
<v Speaker 4>last question.
<v Speaker 5>She's got a DVD of the footage apparently, and she's
<v Speaker 5>about to put it on, and Homer says, you's got
<v Speaker 5>to come and have dinner, So she leaves it on
<v Speaker 5>and she's going to have dinner. We see the babies.
<v Speaker 5>I think this is where we see the bottle. He's
<v Speaker 5>approaching Maggie with the bottle. I think that's here when
<v Speaker 5>out the carnival and Homer is drinking water at the
<v Speaker 5>clown gun thing and his.
<v Speaker 4>Head did his head expand? So did it? Yeah? It's
<v Speaker 4>I thought it was so stupid. So like he's drinking.
<v Speaker 5>Basically getting comparisons here of what Margin's relationship with Homer's
<v Speaker 5>like and what MOA's like with Maya. So he wins
<v Speaker 5>her the big toy and homest too busy fill in
<v Speaker 5>his mouth with the water because he's thirsty from the
<v Speaker 5>clown thing. But in the background, his head's expanding and
<v Speaker 5>getting bigger and bigger, And I was like, that's.
<v Speaker 4>Why do we need that? It's just stupidity. Also not
<v Speaker 4>right for this particular episode or even this particular phase
<v Speaker 4>of this.
<v Speaker 5>I don't like that aspect of Simpson's at all anyway,
<v Speaker 5>particularly do a lot with mister Burns. I've mentioned time
<v Speaker 5>and time again where they just unrealistic.
<v Speaker 4>Body body expectations. It's just stupid.
<v Speaker 5>So then they've got the photo booth seen as well
<v Speaker 5>so margin Homers. All their photos are sad because home's
<v Speaker 5>drunk and then the cops arrive and whatnot. But Maya
<v Speaker 5>and most are really.
<v Speaker 4>Sweet and doing the pulling faces, the goofy face. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>So Moe then asked Maya to marry him, and he says,
<v Speaker 5>nothing's made more sense to me than this in my life,
<v Speaker 5>except for keeping all the Netflix DVDs and telling the
<v Speaker 5>post office that have lost them. And I thought, what
<v Speaker 5>a time old Netflix shout out, yeah Netflix, before it
<v Speaker 5>was Netflix, Netflix and Jelli Yeah, I still remember when
<v Speaker 5>Netflix came around and all the video stores were saying
<v Speaker 5>that'll never last. And it got to the point where
<v Speaker 5>you started seeing video easy booths around supermarket stuff.
<v Speaker 4>I remember seeing that going, oh the times they are changing,
<v Speaker 4>Oh yeah.
<v Speaker 5>And I just the appeal of going to a booth
<v Speaker 5>and getting a DVD out and returning to the booth
<v Speaker 5>just never.
<v Speaker 4>It just never appealed to me.
<v Speaker 5>No, I liked going and choosing. I don't want to
<v Speaker 5>touch it. Just it sucked the fun out of it
<v Speaker 5>for me. I liked going to visit the video store
<v Speaker 5>well yeah.
<v Speaker 4>Because you know, you're looking at the front cover and
<v Speaker 4>then you're looking at the back cup getting a little
<v Speaker 4>more information.
<v Speaker 5>You probably see that on the screen as well. But
<v Speaker 5>it wasn't going to save me though, just I wanted
<v Speaker 5>to go see Chris at the video store and talk
<v Speaker 5>about wrestling with him, and you know, you just hang
<v Speaker 5>out for a bit of a browse. Yeah, that was
<v Speaker 5>the part of the It was the walking around browsing
<v Speaker 5>for me. Yeah, it was just as much.
<v Speaker 4>Fun, if not more so, than getting the actual movie
<v Speaker 4>and taking home to watch Supermarket for Nerds. Are you
<v Speaker 4>asking me to be your little woman?
<v Speaker 1>Well, as long as you don't mind having a small
<v Speaker 1>wedding and we could drink champagne out of an acorn top,
<v Speaker 1>our first dance will be on the head of a pin.
<v Speaker 4>There.
<v Speaker 1>I've been hugging all the good ones. I know you go,
<v Speaker 1>but hey, keep it short.
<v Speaker 5>Well, what's mattered though?
<v Speaker 4>We were just having fun. I stopped having fun about
<v Speaker 4>ten jokes ago, and you just kept going.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'll forgive me kidding. I mean cat,
<v Speaker 1>I mean tiger, I mean save it to a tiger.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I think you should go now. Okay, I
<v Speaker 1>screwed this up pretty bad, and I'm sorry. How long
<v Speaker 1>do people remember things get out.
<v Speaker 5>I've been hugging all the good ones. You go, but
<v Speaker 5>keep it short. It's like, I laughed. These were funny because,
<v Speaker 5>as he says, she opened the door. But you're canna
<v Speaker 5>understand it got to the point where it felt like
<v Speaker 5>he's blizzling. Yeah, yeah, from her perspective anyway, So she
<v Speaker 5>tells him to leave. He apologizes and then says, how
<v Speaker 5>long do you people remember things? And I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 5>mo oh, I must admit, here's what I wrote.
<v Speaker 4>My overreacted a little.
<v Speaker 5>That can be our thing. Sort of oh no, oh, mo.
<v Speaker 4>That could be your thing.
<v Speaker 5>But Moa is now sad in the bar and he
<v Speaker 5>wants advice from Lenny and Karl, and they said, you've
<v Speaker 5>got to make a grand, reckless gesture that could blop
<v Speaker 5>in your face. And he says, but what about it?
<v Speaker 5>What if it blows in my face? What doesn't matter
<v Speaker 5>because look at your face? And it cuts to him
<v Speaker 5>wanting doctor Hibbitt to make him a micro mo and
<v Speaker 5>he says, no license physician would do this. I believe
<v Speaker 5>this is the first appearance of Doctor Nixon's the movie
<v Speaker 5>in a while, because he gets killed off in the movie.
<v Speaker 5>Said a beloved character is going to be killed off,
<v Speaker 5>and he says bye, everybody was when the glass hits
<v Speaker 5>him and he dies. He's returned once again, doctor Nick
<v Speaker 5>with the same gag. We've had this exact same gag
<v Speaker 5>when Marge was getting the breast implants, remember, but they
<v Speaker 5>accidentally give Krusty the breast iplants.
<v Speaker 4>Remember.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so it's just the same thing, except this time
<v Speaker 5>mister Lago has been made shorter rather than getting his
<v Speaker 5>transition instead of transition. Yes, so then Mae is looking
<v Speaker 5>in the mirror and you think you come up for it.
<v Speaker 5>Oh my god, he's actually had it done. You know,
<v Speaker 5>his legs look gone. But no, why would you do this?
<v Speaker 5>I haven't had anything done yet. Stands like, oh okay,
<v Speaker 5>a nice little gag. They're a little bait and switch.
<v Speaker 5>She says, if you have to be like her, you're
<v Speaker 5>not seeing the real her. She just wants someone who
<v Speaker 5>sees her for her beauty, not as short. So she
<v Speaker 5>says that's over and she leaves, and yeah.
<v Speaker 4>You feel bad for him, you do, absolutely? Yeah, look
<v Speaker 4>I understand you get you get both their sides, or
<v Speaker 4>you understand both their positions.
<v Speaker 5>I think definitely away. Yeah, Margin finally watches the DVD
<v Speaker 5>and I'll go here. Why is it a different day?
<v Speaker 5>Like it should have been the same scene as the
<v Speaker 5>previous DVDs. Can't whatever, so Homa tries to. In the video,
<v Speaker 5>Hama tries to save Maggie from the kids, but Kenniey's
<v Speaker 5>son starts beating him up, and then Maggie beats Kennie's
<v Speaker 5>son up.
<v Speaker 4>Oh do you saved me?
<v Speaker 2>I promise that wherever you go in this world, I
<v Speaker 2>will always be there for you. Oh Maggie, I love
<v Speaker 2>you from the tip of your toast to the bow
<v Speaker 2>on your hair with the red blinking late God bless
<v Speaker 2>your mother for making you with me.
<v Speaker 4>What'd you watch in honey, Homer Simpson, you are a
<v Speaker 4>strong finisher.
<v Speaker 6>I'm good at beginnings.
<v Speaker 5>This feels like, though very late teen seasons of The Simpsons,
<v Speaker 5>where home is just he wasn't a jerking this, but
<v Speaker 5>he's more just careless, careless, And then he just says
<v Speaker 5>they have him say one nice thing at the end
<v Speaker 5>of mar was like, oh, you're so great, Homer.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I must have been that kind of reeks of
<v Speaker 4>that whole cliche about you know, dad say their babysitting
<v Speaker 4>their kids. Yeah, that kind of thing.
<v Speaker 5>I do think that they are almost acknowledging that she says,
<v Speaker 5>you're a strong finisher. It's like, that's usually how it ends,
<v Speaker 5>like he finishes strong and that's all that.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that's a really good way of putting It's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>we acknowledge that we'll let him misbehave for seventy eight
<v Speaker 4>percent of the episode, throwing a throw a little bone
<v Speaker 4>at the last minute, and like, oh, wow, he's actually
<v Speaker 4>good after all. Felt it felt very look, it did
<v Speaker 4>the trick, I guess, but it also the way it
<v Speaker 4>was written felt very insincere. Yeah, insincere. It also just
<v Speaker 4>felt like what was the point of that story?
<v Speaker 5>Really, Like, you know what it was? You never saw
<v Speaker 5>Maggie and Homer really bond. I know, he says these
<v Speaker 5>nice things to it, but it's from her perspective though.
<v Speaker 5>You never really see Maggie and Homer no happy together.
<v Speaker 4>You know what I mean. It was just no, it's
<v Speaker 4>essentially just Homer hanging out of the bar and at
<v Speaker 4>the end of at the end of his session there,
<v Speaker 4>he'll go pick her up from that thing. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>it's they didn't spend any time to get's there. That's
<v Speaker 4>not daddy daughter time. That's just like daddy time with
<v Speaker 4>daughter adjacent.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, anyway, but Moa is sad at the bar, and
<v Speaker 5>Homer says, here, you know you're on the sidelines, and
<v Speaker 5>now you're back in the game. Someone loved you, which
<v Speaker 5>means someone can love you once again. And later on
<v Speaker 5>he's cleaning the bar and he looks over and he
<v Speaker 5>sees the photo of her, and he says, who'd have
<v Speaker 5>thought such a little one could make me feel so big?
<v Speaker 5>Which is a veryful way to end the episode. As
<v Speaker 5>we said, if you finished the if you finished strong, yes,
<v Speaker 5>like Homer, Yeah, it usually leaves you thinking this episode
<v Speaker 5>was a lot better than what it was. I actually
<v Speaker 5>thought this was a pretty good episode based on that.
<v Speaker 5>The way they ended it made you feel it was
<v Speaker 5>even better.
<v Speaker 4>Oh yes, yeah, they stuck the landing.
<v Speaker 5>They did stick the landing indeed. Yeah, so another enjoyable episode,
<v Speaker 5>this one. I was worried going in, but as you said,
<v Speaker 5>they they portrayed the little woman aspect very positively and
<v Speaker 5>handled it very carefully.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah. Look, a little bit of reversing here. The b
<v Speaker 4>plot doesn't really work. I don't think, I don't, But okay,
<v Speaker 4>it doesn't really work. But at the same time, it's
<v Speaker 4>not really. It's not so bad that you're like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>it capsizes the whole episode. I just don't think there's
<v Speaker 4>a lot of substance to it. It feels, as I said, yes,
<v Speaker 4>but the defensive, the whole, the whole a plot I
<v Speaker 4>think works very very well. And yeah, especially because it
<v Speaker 4>just reminds you that mover all his flaws and faults,
<v Speaker 4>has a genuine good heart, even if his mind and
<v Speaker 4>his mouth don't know is coalied with his heart. So yeah,
<v Speaker 4>who among us? Who among us? Exactly right? What do
<v Speaker 4>we learn? What do you learn from this episode? Mister Davis?
<v Speaker 4>I learned the rhyme scheme for Limericks. Yeah, I mean
<v Speaker 4>I think I already knew it. I think anyone who
<v Speaker 4>basically understands words would understand it. But I very much
<v Speaker 4>like that Lenny was saying, it's aabb a dumb ass.
<v Speaker 4>I'm not going to forget that anytime soon. So thank
<v Speaker 4>you Simpsons, Thank you Lenny.
<v Speaker 1>Umm.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I feel like I learned something today.
<v Speaker 5>I learn that dwarf tossing is not a thing you
<v Speaker 5>should be doing in twenty twenty five, let alone two
<v Speaker 5>thousand and nine.
<v Speaker 4>Andever this ad that's the little person they may want
<v Speaker 4>to be.
<v Speaker 5>They maybe caught little person tossing.
<v Speaker 4>Then I don't have the same ring. Yeah, it's like
<v Speaker 4>Snow White and the Magical Creatures, whatever the fuck it was.
<v Speaker 4>What did they change it to? Is magical creatures or
<v Speaker 4>in the snow film came and went very grief. We
<v Speaker 4>would know the answer of this if anyone wants it.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. In cases like this, I just you know,
<v Speaker 4>I defaulted the Gimli way of thinking. Nobody tosses a dwarf. Notice,
<v Speaker 4>because you've never seen Lord of the Rings, I have.
<v Speaker 4>I have watched them all now, of course I have.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, Oh that's right, have you Yeah, I've bought the
<v Speaker 5>four K set and I finally sat down and watched
<v Speaker 5>the third one, fucking going for a long time with

<v Speaker 5>Championship stands at this In first position, we have yeahed Hornby.
<v Speaker 5>In second position we have Phil Hawkins on seventeen points,
<v Speaker 5>and in third position we have Brian Hughes Husy on
<v Speaker 5>twelve points.
<v Speaker 4>Take it away, okay, then one point? Those two love
<v Speaker 4>me bartender? Not bad, not bad at all.
<v Speaker 5>Elvis is big in this house at the moment because
<v Speaker 5>the kids just watched Lelo and Stitch. Oh yes, so
<v Speaker 5>they're all about the Elvis. They're listening to Elvis in
<v Speaker 5>the car. They really like the Hunker Honker.
<v Speaker 4>What a tune? Right love to be said about Elvis.
<v Speaker 4>I was worried for a while. I mean, being the
<v Speaker 4>old man that I am, It's like, oh, Elves will
<v Speaker 4>never die. Yeah, well, I mean Elvis is dead of course,
<v Speaker 4>or is he two pack says otherwise, but did you
<v Speaker 4>hear that from the Tory's b ij But you know,
<v Speaker 4>you get the feelings like, oh, look, everything sort of
<v Speaker 4>passes into eternity. Eventually, you know the legend is going
<v Speaker 4>to fade. But it's good to hear that. New generations
<v Speaker 4>are like, you know, who's not bad as Azelle? Was
<v Speaker 4>Presley I thing guys, yeah, you know, you know who's
<v Speaker 4>not bad as the Beetle? But yeah, you'reros of a
<v Speaker 4>mind like, oh the stuff that I grew up with,
<v Speaker 4>all the stuff that like Star Wars. It's like a
<v Speaker 4>future generation is gonna go, who's this? Obi wan? You're
<v Speaker 4>talking about? What you know?
<v Speaker 5>Or even when we say it's the Simpsons reference, he
<v Speaker 5>Simpsons quotes Now anyone under the age of twenty, they
<v Speaker 5>didn't watch this shit, They didn't watch that.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't grow up on the Simpsons. Mate, Well, we're
<v Speaker 4>keeping the flame burning. We are indeed love me. Bartender
<v Speaker 4>is gets one point.
<v Speaker 5>So clever It's Clever Kyle, weaving him up to ten
<v Speaker 5>points in fourth position, while on Clever.
<v Speaker 4>Kyle, well done, Clever Kyle, two points goes to how
<v Speaker 4>mo can you go?
<v Speaker 5>That is all Phil j oh No, he's not Philip
<v Speaker 5>j yet. He's still Phil Hawk and he's on nineteen
<v Speaker 5>points at the as. We haven't got thirty three points yet,
<v Speaker 5>but as it currently stands, he's on nineteen, one point
<v Speaker 5>behind Jared. Okay, but who's gonna get the three?
<v Speaker 4>Well? I wonder if Jared gave us this three pointer
<v Speaker 4>swish heartbreak motell or what's a good name?
<v Speaker 5>It's pretty good, but it's Brian hughesy my Hughes, which
<v Speaker 5>means he's now fifteen points. He's only five points behind
<v Speaker 5>Jared and four points behind Phil Hawkins.
<v Speaker 4>He's clot us. He could win this. We got us
<v Speaker 4>a race, baby.
<v Speaker 5>I feel like it's down to three. It's down to
<v Speaker 5>three cats now, Brian Hughes, Phil Hawkins and Jared Hornby.
<v Speaker 4>Indeed, anyone can win it.
<v Speaker 5>Jared lifted game You've got I think that's the first
<v Speaker 5>time in ages he hasn't had any points.
<v Speaker 4>Jared Bad lurk for Jerry.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so Phil Bad formed by Jared, Phil, Jared and
<v Speaker 5>Brian keep up the good work, and everyone else as well.
<v Speaker 4>Keep oh yeah, keep look, keep punching, keep bringing in
<v Speaker 4>the name.
<v Speaker 5>Because if you get your name into the onto the
<v Speaker 5>leaderboard in any way you go into the wild card
<v Speaker 5>draw that we hadro at the end of the season
<v Speaker 5>as well.
<v Speaker 4>Shall I peel back the curtain a little bit with
<v Speaker 4>the young gave us New Name Channel because there was
<v Speaker 4>one other name that I really enjoy and that I
<v Speaker 4>wanted to throw in there. Now you know, it was
<v Speaker 4>Brian mc hughes. It bears repeating that the Guy Davs
<v Speaker 4>New Name Challenge is done blind. Yeah, sight impaired.
<v Speaker 5>Because guy sends it through to me, he goes, this
<v Speaker 5>is one point. I go, oh, this person's already also
<v Speaker 5>won three, which means you got to cut off the
<v Speaker 5>one point win and give it to somebody else, because.
<v Speaker 4>I was initially going to give one point to Big
<v Speaker 4>Trouble with Little Maya. Yeah, it was pretty funny, kind
<v Speaker 4>of liked it. Tribute the Big Trouble and Little Play.
<v Speaker 4>It's word play great, So.
<v Speaker 5>Won two punch by Hughesy Hughes indeed, all right. So
<v Speaker 5>that is our review of any Teeny Maya mo. Next

<v Speaker 4>They wait a minute, can we just do something real
<v Speaker 4>quick before we close out. Just did the iconic Eye
<v Speaker 4>on Springfield theme. Who composed that? But our pal ourf
<v Speaker 4>clause and the late great Olf clause and so a
<v Speaker 4>shout out pulling out to the man Danny Elfman, as
<v Speaker 4>course is the composer of the Simpsons theme, which is iconic.
<v Speaker 4>But our kind of tied it all together man with
<v Speaker 4>his music. He was a he was an absolute legend.
<v Speaker 4>Not just did music for the Simpsons. He did music
<v Speaker 4>for my beloved Moonlighting. He did the music for Alf,
<v Speaker 4>the show Alf fly enough, so yeah, let's recognize. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>so for you have clause.
<v Speaker 5>Obviously, as he said, Dan did the theme, but Alf
<v Speaker 5>took that theme and made so many great like transitions
<v Speaker 5>and variations. Absolutely, yeah, yeah, but it's such a shame
<v Speaker 5>that he was fired. Yeah, it was that that five
<v Speaker 5>six years ago just does make sense.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, that bad break and that bad blood between Alf
<v Speaker 4>and Yeah, the power broke is the Simpsons h Q.
<v Speaker 4>It's a it's a it's a bummer, it's a bit's
<v Speaker 4>a puts a bit of a taint on things. But well,
