<v Speaker 1>Two hours nearly of discussing wrestling with her, which is
<v Speaker 1>felt like twenty minutes. So I think she's going to

<v Speaker 1>It's really really exciting to have you here, especially have
<v Speaker 1>a female voice on the show. I think that also
<v Speaker 1>is definitely a plus.
<v Speaker 2>So how you doing.
<v Speaker 4>Hi, Yeah, I'm good thing, I'm excited. I was thinking
<v Speaker 4>about I'm grateful that that we got this to work out,
<v Speaker 4>and I was thinking about just you know, I thought about,
<v Speaker 4>you know, emailing you and asking you about that idea
<v Speaker 4>for a little while, just because you know, we were
<v Speaker 4>talking about before. You know, I've been a closet wrestling
<v Speaker 4>fan for a long time, like just uh, and not
<v Speaker 4>a lot of people, you know, in my life that
<v Speaker 4>I can talk about wrestling with. And so you know,
<v Speaker 4>to get a get a chance to like therapeutically just
<v Speaker 4>air out some frustrations, right and some stuff that I
<v Speaker 4>really liked in the product right now, it is a
<v Speaker 4>great opportunity. Yes, you know.
<v Speaker 2>That's what I always say.
<v Speaker 1>If you've listened to you know, it's just it is therapeutic.
<v Speaker 1>There are so many fans out there that we listen.
<v Speaker 1>We have maybe the one friend that kind of likes
<v Speaker 1>wrestling or generally follows it, but they aren't they're not
<v Speaker 1>as passionate as you and I are or our listeners,
<v Speaker 1>because they aren't listening to wrestling podcasts. They just kind
<v Speaker 1>of maybe watch rar smack Down here and there, but
<v Speaker 1>then they show for the pay per views.
<v Speaker 2>So this is exactly that. It's a therapy session.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of like people are metaphorically sitting on my
<v Speaker 1>couch right like I am your therapist, and we are
<v Speaker 1>all together in this one big couch talking about wrestling
<v Speaker 1>and so exactly exactly right. So I guess in a
<v Speaker 1>way to kind of get our listeners to know you
<v Speaker 1>a little bit, how did you come into wrestling? What
<v Speaker 1>are your first memories of wrestling?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, so, I mean it's all it's all very blurry,
<v Speaker 4>I think, because like I started wrestling or watching wrestling
<v Speaker 4>when I was young, young, like I kind of remember
<v Speaker 4>that young young enough where you can't remember most of
<v Speaker 4>the stuff, just little pictures from here and there. But
<v Speaker 4>what I can tell you is I remember John Cena,
<v Speaker 4>so I would say, like the best way to encompass
<v Speaker 4>it is John Cena was probably my whole Coogan if
<v Speaker 4>that makes anything. And and oh yeah, a lot of
<v Speaker 4>John Cena. I'm being young and being a young girl
<v Speaker 4>who loved John Cena and then growing up a little
<v Speaker 4>bit and understanding a little bit more and then you know, uh,
<v Speaker 4>finding people like to seem punk, you know, but I'm
<v Speaker 4>talking about like long hair cmpunk, like e c w
<v Speaker 4>CM punk and that terrible rendition of wwez cw CM punk.
<v Speaker 4>Like those kind of pictures coming to my mind. Original
<v Speaker 4>Missa Morrison, you know, with the fedora hat and most
<v Speaker 4>terrible shorts. We're talking like, you know, Jamaican Kofi Kingston
<v Speaker 4>Raymisterio was my favorite when I was young for a while,
<v Speaker 4>Randy Orton, So that's probably about kind of the main
<v Speaker 4>time I started watching. I know that's probably a little
<v Speaker 4>all over the place, but those are all the memories
<v Speaker 4>that come to mind. And then you know, being able
<v Speaker 4>to go back and watch things I used to spend
<v Speaker 4>my time, like just on YouTube, such like a dork
<v Speaker 4>looking up you know. I loved watching anything Evolution for
<v Speaker 4>the longest time, I just thought Triple H and Randy Orton,
<v Speaker 4>Patissa and Ric Flair, I thought that was so well
<v Speaker 4>done and so with just kind of like you know,
<v Speaker 4>hop back and forth from all these random Evolution segments
<v Speaker 4>and matches and so so that's kind of I guess
<v Speaker 4>how I got into it. I don't remember what the
<v Speaker 4>first thing I ever watched was. I couldn't tell you what,
<v Speaker 4>you know, what match drew me into wrestling and said, oh,
<v Speaker 4>I got to have more of this. It was just
<v Speaker 4>kind of that was like I think the Ruthless Aggression
<v Speaker 4>Era was kind of like my your version of your
<v Speaker 4>Attitude era.
<v Speaker 2>That's exactly what it is. And that's not a bad
<v Speaker 2>error to come up.
<v Speaker 1>And I know people look at the Attitude Era as
<v Speaker 1>the gold standard of wrestling, and yes, it had an
<v Speaker 1>absolute all star legend roster on it, and it was
<v Speaker 1>a TV fourteen. It was a different time and place,
<v Speaker 1>but at the same time, the Ruthless Aggression Era, even
<v Speaker 1>the tail end in the beginning of the PG era,
<v Speaker 1>which is when you came in, it still had some
<v Speaker 1>big names in there. Like you said, I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>was headlined by John Cena. You had Randy Orton, of course,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I know you did see Evolution, one of
<v Speaker 1>the biggest groups of all time. It's really not a
<v Speaker 1>bad time at all to become coming into wrestling, and certainly,
<v Speaker 1>I mean you look at today's product. You fast forward,
<v Speaker 1>my gosh, fifteen years later and you still see some
<v Speaker 1>of those same people here, right, Like Randy Orton still here,
<v Speaker 1>still looks like he has an age today.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, so it is.
<v Speaker 1>It's a much different product now. But you came in
<v Speaker 1>at a really good time, I think. And yes, John
<v Speaker 1>Cena is your Hull Cogan, right, Like that's exactly what
<v Speaker 1>he is. And he kind of was that wholesome, pretty
<v Speaker 1>much say your prayers and eat your vitamins type of character.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he was kind of that, he really was,
<v Speaker 1>which I think turned a lot of the quote hardcore fans,
<v Speaker 1>which is how they labeled me of being growing up
<v Speaker 1>in the attitudear and seeing stone cold drink beer flip
<v Speaker 1>people off to the John Cena kind of soft version
<v Speaker 1>of what Austin and Rock were, which is why I
<v Speaker 1>think a lot of the men rejected him and continue
<v Speaker 1>to reject John Cena, and why they rejected Roman reigns,
<v Speaker 1>I think for so long as well, kind of the
<v Speaker 1>air apparent to John Cena being that oft kind of
<v Speaker 1>PG corporately created Babyface, although not now. Roman Range I
<v Speaker 1>think is doing the best work of his career period.
<v Speaker 2>So all right, so what are your favorite match? Do
<v Speaker 2>you have a favorite match? Matches?
<v Speaker 1>I know that it's kind of a tough thing to
<v Speaker 1>ask because there are probably over fifteen years or wherever
<v Speaker 1>however long you've been watching. Certainly, do you have a
<v Speaker 1>lot of memories, You have a lot of different things
<v Speaker 1>that you remember that you love, and you're looking up
<v Speaker 1>on YouTube as I am. But do you have a
<v Speaker 1>favorite match and or matches or moments?
<v Speaker 2>I should say is WW would like to.
<v Speaker 4>Say, yeah, it's funny, such a tough question the answer too,
<v Speaker 4>and I hate to give like the stereotypical answer of
<v Speaker 4>the you know, the first HBK Undertaker match at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 4>But I also it's like to go beyond that, you know,
<v Speaker 4>I would say, we you know, remember when they have
<v Speaker 4>the to you'd have to order the DVDs to watch
<v Speaker 4>these py reviews, and uh, and so I remember we
<v Speaker 4>had the WrestleMania and I couldn't tell you the number,
<v Speaker 4>but the one with Big Show in Floyd Mayweather. We
<v Speaker 4>had that like DVD set and we had those TVs
<v Speaker 4>in the back seats of your car, and so we would,
<v Speaker 4>you know, when we go on a road trip or something,
<v Speaker 4>we'd watch that in the back seat. And you know,
<v Speaker 4>that was probably one of my favorite pay per views.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if it's just nostalgia or you know,
<v Speaker 4>actual good matches, because I'm blanking on any other match
<v Speaker 4>on that card right now, but I do remember loving,
<v Speaker 4>loving watching that, and then I guess, uh, you know,
<v Speaker 4>I got again a DVD. I remember for Christmas one year,
<v Speaker 4>my brother got me a ray Astereo DVD, like a
<v Speaker 4>three part DVD, and it had all you know, ray
<v Speaker 4>Asteria was like walking on a beach and then he
<v Speaker 4>would introduce you to one match and then you go
<v Speaker 4>to the next one or whatever. And to be able
<v Speaker 4>to go back and watch his matches with Eddie Guerrero
<v Speaker 4>and you know, I don't I couldn't even form words
<v Speaker 4>when that, you know, that was going on. Some of
<v Speaker 4>those matches I think are probably one of my favorite
<v Speaker 4>matches of all time. And it seems like a cheap
<v Speaker 4>answer because, like I said, I never was able to
<v Speaker 4>watch something like that live, but I just remember loving,
<v Speaker 4>you know, being a kid and loving you know, Raymisteria
<v Speaker 4>was like a superhero nobody could just like you know,
<v Speaker 4>there wasn't all these like flips and dives and stuff
<v Speaker 4>like there is today. Like he was one of the
<v Speaker 4>few who could actually really do it well.
<v Speaker 1>So yes, I mean the flips and dives and you
<v Speaker 1>know how I feel about all that stuff today. But
<v Speaker 1>to answer your question, I mean that was wrestled Mania
<v Speaker 1>twenty four.
<v Speaker 2>I was going to cut in, but I was one
<v Speaker 2>hundred percent share. I wasn't sure if it was twenty
<v Speaker 2>three twenty four.
<v Speaker 1>But I did google it just so everyone knows it
<v Speaker 1>was twenty four. And yeah, the floy Money Mayweather in
<v Speaker 1>Big Show match. Not to review it, but I think
<v Speaker 1>that match absolutely outperformed what a lot of people may
<v Speaker 1>have fear would have been a total disaster of a match.
<v Speaker 2>I love that build. I do remember that very well.
<v Speaker 1>Edge and Undertaker I believed headlined that for the World
<v Speaker 1>Heavyweight Championship, and I believe the Undertaker captured it that year.
<v Speaker 1>So yes, I do remember that. On a very foggy
<v Speaker 1>spring break in Panama City, when I was twenty oh gosh,
<v Speaker 1>twenty mid twenties.
<v Speaker 2>It was a very foggy time for me.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, I mean I remember that very well, and
<v Speaker 1>so your memories. While you say I mean it is,
<v Speaker 1>I agree. It's hard to pick one match, hard to
<v Speaker 1>pick one moment, but it's really a collection of moments
<v Speaker 1>that you have that kind of bring you into wrestling.
<v Speaker 1>And while it is a tough or it's a difficult
<v Speaker 1>thing to come across in today's product to have those moments,
<v Speaker 1>when you do have those moments of like oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>and you get drawn in and you get chills, you're like,
<v Speaker 1>this is why I love wrestling. I mean, this is
<v Speaker 1>this is why I am just forever a fan. And
<v Speaker 1>the latest for me was probably last year's Royal Rumble
<v Speaker 1>with Edges return. But did you have or recently have
<v Speaker 1>had one of those like, oh man, this is why
<v Speaker 1>I love wrestling. Have you had one of those moments recently?
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, this is is a stupid answer, but I feel funny.
<v Speaker 4>We like I saw I'm a nanny now and like
<v Speaker 4>a glorified house cleaner. So essentially for the beginning of
<v Speaker 4>the house of my day, I'm alone and I get
<v Speaker 4>to clean and take care of the animals and whatever.
<v Speaker 4>And so I can listen to that, you know, podcasts,
<v Speaker 4>or or I'll put on like just random pay per
<v Speaker 4>views and I'll go through maybe like five six seven,
<v Speaker 4>you know, in a random year. And then I took
<v Speaker 4>another random year and I just kind of like follow
<v Speaker 4>this story from them, and and I watched and again
<v Speaker 4>I'm gonna blank on the pay per view. But it
<v Speaker 4>was only a couple of years ago, and it was
<v Speaker 4>an Alexa Bliss match versus Naomi and it was right
<v Speaker 4>before WrestleMania, so it must have been elimination chamber or something.
<v Speaker 4>And I think it was too maybe it was twenty seventeen.
<v Speaker 4>There was a brand split, like a real brand split,
<v Speaker 4>and Naomi it wasn't a good it wasn't a great match.
<v Speaker 4>It was a botched finish, you know, she messed up.
<v Speaker 4>But like afterwards, you know, so there was the first
<v Speaker 4>time she won the title and the crowds chanting you
<v Speaker 4>deserve it, and it's like this heartfelt moment and I'm like,
<v Speaker 4>I'm not, I don't cry. I'd like the dog commercial,
<v Speaker 4>you know, with the like the Pepsi dog commercial with
<v Speaker 4>the horse or whatever that commercial is like, I'm just
<v Speaker 4>not like one of those people who gets emotional about
<v Speaker 4>that kind of stuff or movies or anything, but like
<v Speaker 4>that moment had me welling up for some reason. And
<v Speaker 4>so it's like those random, like you said, those random
<v Speaker 4>times when like I don't know, it just hit something
<v Speaker 4>and you were hits home and you're like, oh, this
<v Speaker 4>is why I watch, like, you know, this match again,
<v Speaker 4>the match wasn't great, but the story of this person
<v Speaker 4>who tried, you know, was worked really hard. You watched
<v Speaker 4>her in the funkadactyls. What a mess that was and
<v Speaker 4>and to be able to see and like, you know,
<v Speaker 4>it all culminates that moment. It was cool and so
<v Speaker 4>what a weird thing to pick. But I just remember
<v Speaker 4>watching that and being like, oh yeah, that's like again
<v Speaker 4>it brought me like my eyes got watery.
<v Speaker 1>That's this is exactly why you watch wrestling, right like,
<v Speaker 1>and it's it's the same reason we all watch TV
<v Speaker 1>shows or movies that draw motion.
<v Speaker 2>We're human beings.
<v Speaker 1>We are emotional by nature, and we don't and when
<v Speaker 1>we don't have emotion, it's hard to get attached. It's
<v Speaker 1>just very superficial, which is why I'm not a big
<v Speaker 1>fan of putting so much emphasis on athleticism and so
<v Speaker 1>little emphasis on story, because stories what draws out of
<v Speaker 1>the ocean. Not necessarily the superficial moves in the ring,

<v Speaker 1>down and said, you know, look, we'll be back when
<v Speaker 1>this thing's over. But knowing Vince McMahon, like you and
<v Speaker 1>I do and most of the fans do, there was
<v Speaker 1>nothing that's gonna stop Vince.
<v Speaker 2>He's of the mindset that the show must go on.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they are always of that mindset and I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate that. And it's drawn not always positive feedback, because
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of people who felt it was insensitive
<v Speaker 1>for him to continue, that it was unsafe for the
<v Speaker 1>performers to be there. And I think while there have
<v Speaker 1>been a couple of outbreaks and as expected, there haven't

<v Speaker 1>And I think people appreciate it because people need an escape,

<v Speaker 1>the last seven eight months, however long the pandemic's been

<v Speaker 1>money in the bank briefcase holder was a bad idea

<v Speaker 1>could go on for many, many hours about how terribly
<v Speaker 1>they have managed Otis, But you're right. I think this
<v Speaker 1>is a bad choice by WWE, not just because Otis
<v Speaker 1>doesn't deserve it. I mean he's been on a losing
<v Speaker 1>streak for a while. I mean, he hasn't exactly been
<v Speaker 1>at the forefront of any championship opportunities, and he has
<v Speaker 1>been really just relegated to kind of a comedy side act.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's been just this guy who's wears shirt,
<v Speaker 1>you know, tight shirts that he shouldn't and he likes
<v Speaker 1>to eat food and he says, oh yeah, I mean

<v Speaker 1>wanted Big Eie. Why he's not in this, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>Know why Big Eie continues to hang on to his
<v Speaker 2>New Day character. I don't know, Uh, He's it's just
<v Speaker 2>hanging on to something he's not a part of anymore.

<v Speaker 1>what Otis did to deserve it, which is nothing, but

<v Speaker 4>think of is is two people, right, Chad Gaebel and

<v Speaker 4>Otis you know, was out of heavy machinery and whatever
<v Speaker 4>whatever all that Shenanigans was. But you know, both characters.
<v Speaker 4>I think, I think two guys, right, Chad Gabel and Otis,
<v Speaker 4>who were like I said, organically like by fans. I
<v Speaker 4>think I think it's going to be really hard for
<v Speaker 4>WWE to prevent something that isn't going to get over
<v Speaker 4>with these two guys, because because like I said, you know,
<v Speaker 4>people seem to gravity towards both of them, you know,
<v Speaker 4>before they were all meddled with them. And so I think, again,
<v Speaker 4>like whatever, I think it seems like he's doing some
<v Speaker 4>kind of coaching things. So whatever this gimmick is. I
<v Speaker 4>think it's going to be really hard for WW to
<v Speaker 4>screw this one up.

<v Speaker 1>I I just don't know why Big E and his
<v Speaker 1>evolution of character has not happened yet, and not even
<v Speaker 1>like a little bit, you know, when he was away
<v Speaker 1>or New Day was away and injured on SmackDown and
<v Speaker 1>he was kind of on his own, and it was like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>here we go final, they're getting a singles run from
<v Speaker 1>Big E, and we started to see some moments of
<v Speaker 1>hope where he was starting to kind of evolve as
<v Speaker 1>a character and not just be this over the top
<v Speaker 1>cartoon character who's concerned more about I don't know, throwing
<v Speaker 1>pancakes and things. And then we got the New Day
<v Speaker 1>come back and he's back to being the just the
<v Speaker 1>biggie character from New Day. That's the kind of the
<v Speaker 1>spin off or what's the remnants of New Day on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 1>And I was hoping when that happened, Hey, at least
<v Speaker 1>let's see some progress every week. Let's see if Big
<v Speaker 1>Ee is able to show signs, small signs of hope
<v Speaker 1>that he could change and that he's evolving, and we
<v Speaker 1>haven't seen that yet, And I don't know. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>a fan of the.
<v Speaker 2>Way that they've portrayed Big E so far.
<v Speaker 1>I know it's many people find it entertaining and that
<v Speaker 1>they enjoy the over the top, cartoonish type of gyrating
<v Speaker 1>and everything else that he does. But if he's going
<v Speaker 1>to have a single successful singles career, something has to change.

<v Speaker 1>do this. Even Corey Graves on air said that he
<v Speaker 1>if he wants to have a single successful singles career,
<v Speaker 1>he needs to get serious. And so it's it's acknowledged.

<v Speaker 1>they're waiting for. Even if Big Ee took a loss
<v Speaker 1>at Survivors to he could have had a good showing

<v Speaker 1>that made an impact even in a loss.

<v Speaker 4>any of them, right, because it's mostly the four four

<v Speaker 4>man would have just been salivating over. But I guess

<v Speaker 4>just as like the fiend sidekicks, but like her own,

<v Speaker 1>forms of entertainment. Having good versus evil. I mean, it
<v Speaker 1>still works today. It's not something that is going to ever,
<v Speaker 1>you know, expire, so to speak. It is something that
<v Speaker 1>traditionally works. However, with the Fiend, he is exactly that
<v Speaker 1>they haven't ever really positioned him hardcore in one category.
<v Speaker 1>He's just kind of been what he is. He's not
<v Speaker 1>good or bad. Yes, he's an evil character that apparently
<v Speaker 1>is brainwashing people and able to hypnotize people and able
<v Speaker 1>to possess people. But at the same time, you're rooting
<v Speaker 1>for this character because it's so original, so cool that yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they're beating up somebody I like, but damn, it's kind
<v Speaker 1>of awesome seeing them do this. This is just this
<v Speaker 1>is entertaining, right, So it is exactly that I think
<v Speaker 1>WWE has recognized that, and the Fiend has never really
<v Speaker 1>gotten booed outside of last year's Helen a Cell with
<v Speaker 1>Seth Rollins that was just a just complete dumpster fire
<v Speaker 1>with the finish. Outside of that, I don't really see
<v Speaker 1>or hear when we had fans can all remember back
<v Speaker 1>that far when fans were in an arena. I don't
<v Speaker 1>remember the Fiend ever getting booed to my knowledge, outside

<v Speaker 1>they if they don't take advantage of this. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why they wouldn't. I've always said that WWE and
<v Speaker 1>Mark Callaway, who's always willing to get back to the business,
<v Speaker 1>why would they not want to promote the hell out
<v Speaker 1>of the Undertaker's final match all over social media, pump
<v Speaker 1>it out in the news outlets and squeeze every last
<v Speaker 1>viewer and dollar out of their audience as they can.
<v Speaker 1>They're for a profit company. Why wouldn't they want to
<v Speaker 1>do that. So I'm still of the belief they're going
<v Speaker 1>to do this, and they don't, I'll kind of be
<v Speaker 1>disappointed if it's just a generic, okay send off and
<v Speaker 1>he does his pose in the ring and the show ends.
<v Speaker 1>It will be kind of disappointed because we're so close
<v Speaker 1>to Mania. Why not make it happen. So here's what
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna propose. Here's what I would propose if I
<v Speaker 1>was Vince and Mark and all the creative staff. Everyone
<v Speaker 1>comes out, they do their tributes, they come out and
<v Speaker 1>they talk the Taker, and he's kind of like the
<v Speaker 1>hybrid of the Dead Man, Mark Callaway and Big Evil
<v Speaker 1>with American badass. He's kind of like all three, which
<v Speaker 1>is what I think the version we'll see from Mania
<v Speaker 1>this year with the Boneyard match. I think it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be that same kind of guy, and they'll all come
<v Speaker 1>out and they'll they'll throughout the night, maybe they'll tell
<v Speaker 1>stories and do video packages of different moments and things,
<v Speaker 1>and then at the end of the night, Taker comes out,
<v Speaker 1>he does his pose, maybe he gets interrupted, but it's
<v Speaker 1>just to say thank you, and you think that things
<v Speaker 1>are over, and then you hear the Fiend's music. You
<v Speaker 1>hear that, like all the lights come down, and Alexa
<v Speaker 1>Bliss shows up, as you said, and she just looks
<v Speaker 1>at Taker, comes out and looks at his eyes and said,
<v Speaker 1>he's here, kind of like Poultergeist, like that whole rip
<v Speaker 1>off of the line from Poultergeist, and just looks at him,
<v Speaker 1>and the Fiend appears behind him, hits the mandible claw
<v Speaker 1>and very safe bump obviously because there really is no
<v Speaker 1>bump that's needed from mandible claw. Taker's left in the
<v Speaker 1>middle of the ring, the Fiend standing over him, with
<v Speaker 1>the announcers in shock silence to end the show where
<v Speaker 1>it's just there's not even any words needed. The Fiend
<v Speaker 1>is just standing over Taker looking down as the show
<v Speaker 1>goes off the air, like that's how I would book it.
<v Speaker 4>I love that I can hear Michael Coles, Oh my
<v Speaker 4>God's in the back of my head, and uh, I
<v Speaker 4>think I would probably do the exact same thing or
<v Speaker 4>similar I mean, my only fear is though, if they
<v Speaker 4>do this right and for some reason or you know,
<v Speaker 4>if we're not able to have fans in the arena
<v Speaker 4>by WrestleMania is that this is a cinematic man. But

<v Speaker 4>inducted Paul bar into the Hall of Fame and came

<v Speaker 1>And I think he could. But what he'll struggle with,

<v Speaker 1>he be satisfied with that? And I think he has
<v Speaker 1>to in his mind be at peace with whatever happens

<v Speaker 1>interest in so much content for the WW network. It's
<v Speaker 1>really it's fascinating to hear from him, the guy that's
<v Speaker 1>been so tight lipped about his career over the last
<v Speaker 1>thirty years to come out and probably the greatest of
<v Speaker 1>all time. I mean, yes, you could say Stone Cold
<v Speaker 1>generated more money and he was hotter, I'd agree. You
<v Speaker 1>could say The Rock was a bigger star, and I
<v Speaker 1>would agree. But the man that's been there the longest,
<v Speaker 1>that has stood the test of time, and that has
<v Speaker 1>earned more respect than anyone in the business ever and
<v Speaker 1>has had the longest rate of running character a successful
<v Speaker 1>character of all time, He's the Undertaker. I would say
<v Speaker 1>the Undertaker is the greatest of all time.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, of course, a very subjective, subjective topic. But
<v Speaker 1>so getting back to SmackDown, any I know, again, there's
<v Speaker 1>there's our things happen on SmackDown, But I also want

<v Speaker 4>little bit more of where tom or you know who
<v Speaker 4>to Meena is, but so I was I was upset.

<v Speaker 4>like like she was throwing a tantrum. This is like
<v Speaker 4>a grown woman who's been you know, the only female
<v Speaker 4>graduate of the Heart dynasty. You know, was like just
<v Speaker 4>all around disappointed in the use of these two women.
<v Speaker 1>I'm really over Natalia. I'm I like you said, especially
<v Speaker 1>at least the way that they're presently presenting her. It's
<v Speaker 1>not becoming of somebody I would want to cheer for.
<v Speaker 1>And apparently she's supposed to be the baby face in
<v Speaker 1>this contest with her and to mean in this past
<v Speaker 1>week and yeah, she made to me to tap out,
<v Speaker 1>but the way that they've used her not just this week,
<v Speaker 1>but it's a pattern of many many months, many months,
<v Speaker 1>if not years, that she's been booked like this. Where
<v Speaker 1>I mean, number one, she's a terrible actress, I mean bad,
<v Speaker 1>like she cannot act at all. It's so superficial and
<v Speaker 1>it's like the harder she tries, the worst she becomes.
<v Speaker 1>And I think that's where she's at in the ring. Look,
<v Speaker 1>I have so much respect for Natalia. I mean, obviously
<v Speaker 1>her heritage and her family where she comes from is
<v Speaker 1>one of the biggest wrestling families of all time with
<v Speaker 1>the hearts app absolutely no problem there. It's just again,
<v Speaker 1>her acting is atrocious. And if I have to see,
<v Speaker 1>like you said, a grown woman throw a temper tantrum
<v Speaker 1>and where caddiers down to the ring, Like I I'm sorry,
<v Speaker 1>Like I just I can't get on board with somebody
<v Speaker 1>like that. She's kind of boring at the same time,

<v Speaker 2>A lot of depth to her character. She's shown flares
<v Speaker 2>at times of you know, she's cut good promos in
<v Speaker 2>the past. Let's let's be honest.

<v Speaker 1>but this current iteration of her is really unwatchable. In
<v Speaker 1>the ring again, she's very good, there's no question about that.

<v Speaker 1>is hiring part time, Like she's there, gone for four months,
<v Speaker 1>randomly shows up and in Women's Battle Royal wins, it

<v Speaker 1>needs to shed the the perception that she is kind
<v Speaker 1>of like Nia Jack's life, like she is the kind

<v Speaker 1>grown woman who's been in w WA for ten years.

<v Speaker 4>has has lip fillers or botox. You know, she's not

<v Speaker 4>I think they could do a lot more. And they're

<v Speaker 1>is kind of the old guard. They look at them,
<v Speaker 1>especially Tamina or Italia as kind of like the old guard,
<v Speaker 1>and they don't they want that shiny new toy. They've
<v Speaker 1>always had that shiny new toy syndrome, especially Vince McMahon has.
<v Speaker 1>And they've got all these this talent sitting in NXT
<v Speaker 1>waiting to be potentially called up. They've got a younger roster,
<v Speaker 1>and you look at these two women, they're not exactly
<v Speaker 1>spring chickens, and they've been around a while. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't have any faith that outside of kind of being
<v Speaker 1>that the doorkeeper or the gatekeeper for incoming talent to
<v Speaker 1>beat and start a foundation from and get us an
<v Speaker 1>actual credible win over, I don't see them ever being
<v Speaker 1>the center of the women's division, just simply for the
<v Speaker 1>fact of there's too much other talent. And I think
<v Speaker 1>that WWE thinks they know what they already have in
<v Speaker 1>Italia and Tamina. I think they believe they've already squeezed
<v Speaker 1>as much juice out of that as they can, and
<v Speaker 1>that this is not something that we think we can
<v Speaker 1>get much more out of.
<v Speaker 2>We know what we have.
<v Speaker 1>They've been here forever, you know. That's probably the way
<v Speaker 1>that they have solidified and cemented their position in WWE.
<v Speaker 1>I think they have a very confident opinion about where

<v Speaker 1>blue in the face. I'm just I don't know, I'm scared.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very very hesitant to ever say they'll do something

<v Speaker 1>about the contract signing with Drew McIntyre and Roman Ragns
<v Speaker 1>And they were invited to SmackDown, so at least we

<v Speaker 1>Apparently Adam Pierre is running everything without explanation, and no
<v Speaker 1>one told us why or what kind of official he is.
<v Speaker 1>He's just a WWE official. I don't think that's a
<v Speaker 1>real title. He's just a supervisor. I don't know, but
<v Speaker 1>he just kind of all of a sudden came out
<v Speaker 1>of the woodwork and he's running everything. I I will
<v Speaker 1>say I enjoyed the segment with these two.
<v Speaker 2>I liked.
<v Speaker 1>The biggest thing I liked about this was that they
<v Speaker 1>weren't on the microphone that they were holding. It's like
<v Speaker 1>they were having a conversation that we weren't supposed to
<v Speaker 1>hear that.

<v Speaker 1>I don't think they would have been able to do
<v Speaker 1>that in a fan setting because the fans would have
<v Speaker 1>been too loud, But in an empty arena with just
<v Speaker 1>led boards with fans, they were able to do this.
<v Speaker 1>I really liked that small thing they did because it
<v Speaker 1>made it feel a little bit more real.
<v Speaker 2>So that's the first thing. What did you think about

<v Speaker 4>Yeah, I agree, I thought it was great and like
<v Speaker 4>and how they've really been paying attentions, like like you said,
<v Speaker 4>like little d Hills, the no microphone, the way Roman
<v Speaker 4>Reigne was looking at Drew McIntyre the entire time. I like,
<v Speaker 4>I don't I feel like he looks at everybody, just
<v Speaker 4>like with these patronizing you know, stairs and I and
<v Speaker 4>this little thing I saw. I don't even know if
<v Speaker 4>they meant to do it on purpose, but I was thinking,
<v Speaker 4>like the promo last week, Drew McIntyre said, you know
<v Speaker 4>that he he thinks of it as an honor to
<v Speaker 4>be a champion, and you know, Roman Range, you know,
<v Speaker 4>feels entitled to it. And you see, like you know,
<v Speaker 4>Treue McIntyre comes out, you know, dressed to the occasion.
<v Speaker 4>He's got a collared shirt on, you know, he's not
<v Speaker 4>a suit and tie, but he's got a collared shirt on.
<v Speaker 4>He looks nice. And Roman Range comes out in his
<v Speaker 4>T shirt and you know the same thing. And I
<v Speaker 4>was thinking, you know, again, just like those little details.
<v Speaker 4>And I don't I don't know if WW creative is
<v Speaker 4>being that that detailed for lack of a better term,
<v Speaker 4>but I think I noticed that. I appreciated it, and
<v Speaker 4>I love the dialogue between the two of them.

<v Speaker 1>That's a good point about the attire that they were wearing. Subconsciously,
<v Speaker 1>I think registered with me, but I didn't actually bring
<v Speaker 1>it to my conscious part of my brain until you
<v Speaker 1>mentioned it about the attire.
<v Speaker 2>And yes, it's.
<v Speaker 1>Almost as if Rowan Rains had disrespect written all over
<v Speaker 1>him right from the get go by not even caring
<v Speaker 1>to dress for that occasion of a contract signing, and
<v Speaker 1>Drew actually took it a little more seriously and had
<v Speaker 1>more respect for the championships where we had Roman Rains
<v Speaker 1>just kind of come out like he had just been
<v Speaker 1>you know, came from the gym and he just put
<v Speaker 1>his shirt on and just strolled into the arena. And
<v Speaker 1>I like that as well. That's a good point, and
<v Speaker 1>it is the attention to detail that is making this
<v Speaker 1>whole thing work. And simply for the fact that Roman
<v Speaker 1>Rains feels infinitely more comfortable than he did his baby face.

<v Speaker 1>kind of come out un wrestling.

<v Speaker 1>off here with the very first match on the card,
<v Speaker 1>Team Raw, aj Styles, Keith Lee, Seamus Braun Strowman and
<v Speaker 1>Matt Riddle. I can't say Riddle. I feel like I
<v Speaker 1>feel stupid saying it. I mean it's Matt Riddle versus
<v Speaker 1>Team SmackDown, Kevin Owens, Jay Uso, King Corbyn, Seth Rollins,
<v Speaker 1>and Otis. Oh my god, that hurts to say in
<v Speaker 1>a five on five Survivor Series elimination match.
<v Speaker 2>Take it away? Maybe what do you think.
<v Speaker 4>I have to go with Team Raw on this one?
<v Speaker 4>Just because I think I think Team SmackDown can take
<v Speaker 4>a loss. More so, you know, King Corbyn is just
<v Speaker 4>that's just his mo o Kevin Owens has kind of
<v Speaker 4>been on that same trajectory. I think it could you know,
<v Speaker 4>spark something something with Jay Uso and Roman Reigns you know,
<v Speaker 4>failed to lead the team to victory. He said, Seth

<v Speaker 4>and Kevin Owens. So I think when you look at
<v Speaker 4>the two teams, I think I think SmackDown is able
<v Speaker 4>to seek this loss. But with that being said, though,
<v Speaker 4>I have to say, you know, the whole stereotypical gimmick
<v Speaker 4>of you know, they can't get along, you know on
<v Speaker 4>raw that could throw a wrench in my in my prediction,
<v Speaker 4>but I do I think, you know, I think it'll
<v Speaker 4>be if anything will happen, it'll be something like that
<v Speaker 4>Survivor Series match. And again I'm gonna blank on the year,
<v Speaker 4>but you know, Roman Reigns speared King Corbin. Oh it
<v Speaker 4>was last year. It was last year because the n
<v Speaker 4>NEXT was involved. You know, Roman Reigns turned on King
<v Speaker 4>Corbin still managed to win the match, but there was
<v Speaker 4>some dissension and I think that's what led into that,
<v Speaker 4>Like you know, four year what felt like a four
<v Speaker 4>year long rivalry between King Corbin and Roman Reigns. So
<v Speaker 4>that's my pick. I guess long story short is Raw
<v Speaker 4>and hopefully there's some kind of dissension in between so
<v Speaker 4>we can take this worthless match and create some kind
<v Speaker 4>of story out of it, whether it's you know, braun
<v Speaker 4>Strowman and whatever it is, and we get a program
<v Speaker 4>going forward. What do you think?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm having flashbacks as you mentioned about Baron Corben
<v Speaker 1>and Roman Reigns with dog food being thrown on Roman Reigns. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they this looks like it's a solid win for Team Raw.

<v Speaker 1>And the way that they've mishandled Kevin Owens is another story.

<v Speaker 1>takes a loss. You have King Corbin, how many times
<v Speaker 1>has he lost? I mean, his win loss record has
<v Speaker 1>got to be abysmal.
<v Speaker 2>I got to look it up. Seth Rollins has been
<v Speaker 2>on the decline. Otis.
<v Speaker 1>We all know what I feel and to some degree
<v Speaker 1>you feel about Otis. Jay Uso, I would say he's
<v Speaker 1>the only hot hand here, although he lost this past
<v Speaker 1>week to Daniel Bryant. So when you put all these
<v Speaker 1>guys together, it doesn't spell a victory to me. And
<v Speaker 1>when you look at Team Raw, not only does Team
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown have a lot of the the individuals that WWE
<v Speaker 1>has kind of pushed to the side as of late.
<v Speaker 1>Other than Jay Uso, you have Keith Lee number one,
<v Speaker 1>and you have Matt Riddle number two. Those two guys
<v Speaker 1>in and of itself would be enough reason to possibly
<v Speaker 1>push him push this team into victory column. Because you
<v Speaker 1>want Keith Lee to have a good showing. He's an
<v Speaker 1>up and coming star. You have Matt Riddle up and
<v Speaker 1>coming star. You want them to have good showings and
<v Speaker 1>have a potentially big victory over Team SmackDown for whatever
<v Speaker 1>it's worth for this fake band rivalry. Plus aj Styles
<v Speaker 1>has his associate. I wonder if he may or may
<v Speaker 1>not play a factor in this. I think he may
<v Speaker 1>so this to me is one of the more predictable outcomes,
<v Speaker 1>which scares me when I see predictable, because I have
<v Speaker 1>been burned countless times on predictable outcomes. But I'm with you,
<v Speaker 1>Team Raw. I think we'll pull this one out. I

<v Speaker 4>I know they had NXT two, but some of the
<v Speaker 4>names on these teams, it's just it's disappointing with all

<v Speaker 4>lack of a bill that they've done for any of
<v Speaker 4>these women as credible, credible wrestlers. But with all that
<v Speaker 4>being said, like I said, I think I'm gonna have
<v Speaker 4>to go with Team SmackDown solely for my you know,
<v Speaker 4>false hope and creative that they're gonna give Biancavilla a
<v Speaker 4>good showing. What do you think?
<v Speaker 1>This match is not easy. It's not as easy as
<v Speaker 1>the men's match to predict. And I have been saying
<v Speaker 1>for weeks and I will stand by it that I've
<v Speaker 1>said Lana will do exactly what you said she could
<v Speaker 1>do and pull out a cheap victory. She gets put
<v Speaker 1>through a table for the tenth time early in the
<v Speaker 1>match by Naya Jacks after they have some kind of scuffle,
<v Speaker 1>and bam, she goes through, and we all supposed to
<v Speaker 1>forget about her, and then Team SmackDown will eliminate the
<v Speaker 1>remaining Raw members and it'll leave Lana left and we'll go,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god. Wait, Team Row didn't lose. Lana never
<v Speaker 1>got eliminated. She's hanging out on the outside, that's right,
<v Speaker 1>And maybe she's able to pull off a cheap, like
<v Speaker 1>you said, a cheap victory and win it for Team Raw,
<v Speaker 1>the most unlikely person ever to you know, be the
<v Speaker 1>final survivor for the women's division, and that I think
<v Speaker 1>still is a strong possibility. But like you said, perhaps
<v Speaker 1>they do something here that maybe Lana costs Naya Jackson
<v Speaker 1>pinfall and she Nia Jackson is eliminated, and then she
<v Speaker 1>gets angry puts Lana through a table. Team Raw loses
<v Speaker 1>and Lana is eliminated and then gets put through a table,
<v Speaker 1>and then we end up at a tables match like
<v Speaker 1>you said at TLC. I think that is also equally possible.
<v Speaker 1>I also think it's possible that you have Lana win,
<v Speaker 1>which is this is my official prediction. I think Lana
<v Speaker 1>still squeaks out the victory because of how hard they're
<v Speaker 1>working to bury Lana as an impossible victor in this match,
<v Speaker 1>Like they are going to the nth degree to make
<v Speaker 1>her timid, to have her slam through a table every week,
<v Speaker 1>to try to, you know, get some acceptance from her teammates.
<v Speaker 1>It's just they're burying her character, which I really took
<v Speaker 1>as a sign of Okay, She's getting to win at
<v Speaker 1>Survivor Series, so I'm gonna go with that. But they
<v Speaker 1>could still get to that tables match at TLC by
<v Speaker 1>having Nia Jacks take her anger out. Yet Lana wins
<v Speaker 1>and Nia Jacks is still angry at her, and Lana
<v Speaker 1>ends up again facing her a TLC so yeah, my
<v Speaker 1>story is Lana wins by hooker crook with a roll
<v Speaker 1>up at the end of the match, or someone comes
<v Speaker 1>back to lay out the final SmackDown competitor and Lana
<v Speaker 1>just kind of crawls into the puts her drapes her
<v Speaker 1>arm over the person in the ring to get the victory.
<v Speaker 1>And you have the announcer saying and the most unlikely
<v Speaker 1>of finishes I mean, and Lana I think will end
<v Speaker 1>up being victorious. So yeah, I'm gonna take that. I
<v Speaker 1>know it's a popular opinion, but to me, I know
<v Speaker 1>it also puts another victory in Raw's column. But Vince
<v Speaker 1>has never been shy about Raw sweeping SmackDown at Survivors
<v Speaker 1>Series or getting a solid victory or a SmackDown because honestly,
<v Speaker 1>this rivalry again means nothing. There's no consequence. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>not even looking at SmackDown versus Raw wins because there
<v Speaker 1>is no consequence.
<v Speaker 2>So that's my thought.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, you're you're slowly convincing me as you're as you're talking,
<v Speaker 4>But I don't know. Again, maybe it's false hope, man,
<v Speaker 4>but I'm really hoping they do something again. You know,
<v Speaker 4>the SmackDown team as Bailey. I really hope they don't
<v Speaker 4>have Bailey take another loss. You know, I think they
<v Speaker 4>have one one disposable in Natalia. But I'd like to
<v Speaker 4>see them do something with the Riot squad. Maybe look
<v Speaker 4>look makes them look like a you know, a viable
<v Speaker 4>tag team to challenge for the women's snacking titles. Like,
<v Speaker 4>I think there's a lot that they can do here

<v Speaker 4>I said, kind of a worthless match, I think there's
<v Speaker 4>a lot of possibility in creating some stories out of it.

<v Speaker 1>or whoever, but Bailey is a heat could just leave
<v Speaker 1>the match in frustration. She never takes the loss, she

<v Speaker 1>she's not pinned, she saves face, and she gets more
<v Speaker 1>heat for abandoning her teammates. So if you're concerned about Bailey.

<v Speaker 1>So all right, third match here, Bobby Lashley versus Sammy Zain,
<v Speaker 1>the United States Champion versus Intercontinental Champion. I'm gonna say,
<v Speaker 1>as I'll take this one first boy, I'm gonna say
<v Speaker 1>Sammy Zain wins, not just because I want him to win,
<v Speaker 1>but because I think it's the right move. Bobby Lashley
<v Speaker 1>losing I don't think would hurt him nor the Hurt business.
<v Speaker 1>But with sammy's Ain losing this past week on SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>and how good he is on the mic and good
<v Speaker 1>at bragging, I would. I think sammyse Ain should win

<v Speaker 1>only perspective, storyline, it doesn't really exist. It's all about
<v Speaker 1>the quality of the match, wrestling, the athleticism, which I'm

<v Speaker 1>Woods with the Raw Tag Team Champions versus the Street Profits.

<v Speaker 4>Yeah? Absolutely, I think I think you know, all four,
<v Speaker 4>all four men seem to have a good respect for
<v Speaker 4>each other, you know, on and off camera, and and
<v Speaker 4>they're all super talented. I also think, I think what's
<v Speaker 4>it called, I think the New Day would be happy
<v Speaker 4>to put over the Street Profits, but you know, in
<v Speaker 4>like a passing the torch kind of way. But I really,

<v Speaker 4>differing opinion than what I've heard mostly, and I'm going
<v Speaker 4>to say the New Day pulls this one off. And

<v Speaker 4>matches you know they had, it was either Kochi or
<v Speaker 4>Woods and Big Eie. You know, it was rarely just
<v Speaker 4>Kochean Woods in the match. And so I think they
<v Speaker 4>need to show some kind of some kind of ability
<v Speaker 4>to be a tag team without Biggie. And I also
<v Speaker 4>think I think they're not ready to pass the torch yet.

<v Speaker 4>Survivor series, it just seems silly. I think like this
<v Speaker 4>is something right, WW is going to see something good
<v Speaker 4>in this match, and they are going to show it
<v Speaker 4>to us every week, probably on both shows, very into
<v Speaker 4>the ground. Like you said, bring it back to life
<v Speaker 4>and kill it again. It's like like an Alistair Black
<v Speaker 4>Buddy Murphy kind of deal. So I think we're going
<v Speaker 4>to see the New Day win and uh and hopefully
<v Speaker 4>later on down the line, maybe in a year, maybe
<v Speaker 4>less than a year, you're going to have these these
<v Speaker 4>guys facing off again, and then that's kind of when
<v Speaker 4>the Street Profits are gonna it's gonna take the victory

<v Speaker 4>mean more. Maybe it's a unification match. Maybe it's just
<v Speaker 4>for the titles and there's some kind of another draft

<v Speaker 4>think the New Day pulls this one off clean in

<v Speaker 1>it's an insanely high. I mean, I don't think I've
<v Speaker 1>ever seen anyone jump that high off the top rope,
<v Speaker 1>I mean ever, And I've been watching unting for twenty
<v Speaker 1>some years and so certainly the athleticism is athleticism is there.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's going to be the shiny new toy
<v Speaker 1>syndrome for Vince. I really think that the Street Profits
<v Speaker 1>are going to pull this one off because New Day losing,
<v Speaker 1>they don't lose the tag team championships, so that doesn't
<v Speaker 1>really matter per se. And the Street Profits again seem
<v Speaker 1>to be getting a lot of on air time they're opening.
<v Speaker 1>I think they opened smack down this week with their
<v Speaker 1>their over the top delivery of their lines and everything else,
<v Speaker 1>which again I'm not a fan of. It doesn't mean
<v Speaker 1>they're bad, just not my taste. And I think the
<v Speaker 1>Tree Profits have a bright future, and I think the
<v Speaker 1>New Day WW knows what they have with them. They
<v Speaker 1>know that they can take a loss because the championships
<v Speaker 1>aren't on the line, and that, like you said, this
<v Speaker 1>is going to be an ongoing program in the future.

<v Speaker 1>makes it a little bit more difficult. But WWE doesn't

<v Speaker 1>these two absolutely meeting once again, and I'm sure that

<v Speaker 1>not trying to be down here, but I've buried the
<v Speaker 1>way that they've handled Sasha Banks and Bailey after a
<v Speaker 1>brilliant build up, I don't think they paid it off

<v Speaker 1>attack Sasha Banks for the third week in a row,
<v Speaker 1>I think was actually the saving grace of this whole thing.

<v Speaker 1>a SmackDown Women's Champion. She was really good as SmackDown

<v Speaker 1>repackaged in a way with her red latex outfit and
<v Speaker 1>her bleach blonde hair. Now it's not like you know, highlighted,
<v Speaker 1>it's just straight bleach blonde is a nice distraction. And
<v Speaker 1>also bringing somebody into the forefront that was in the
<v Speaker 1>background for quite a while. It makes her feel fresh,
<v Speaker 1>even though she's been with WW for quite a while. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this was not good, not good for either woman. I
<v Speaker 1>was not a fan of this. And if Sasha Banks
<v Speaker 1>calls somebody's sweetheart one more time, as if it's like
<v Speaker 1>some kind of backhanded compliment, I mean it's it's it's
<v Speaker 1>hard to hear and watch given I know the talent
<v Speaker 1>in the ring, and again they're both extremely talented, so
<v Speaker 1>long story, short short is that my prediction for this
<v Speaker 1>is I think Sasha. You know what, I think Oscar
<v Speaker 1>wins because I think Carmela interferes and screws Sasha Banks
<v Speaker 1>for the fourth time and really gets her attention, and
<v Speaker 1>Oscar picks up the victory, albeit a somewhat tainted one.
