ANOTHER BIGFOOT ENCOUNTER FROM NEW YORK STATE | THESE THINGS COULD BE ANYWHERE (THE PARANORMAL)

SASQUATCH THEORY

In this podcast episode, I interview Derrick from New York. He had a bigfoot encounter and some strange experiences in the forest! Derrick also experienced some things with a friend who refuses to acknowledge the experience to this day. It's common for people to shut down and not ever talk about it again! New York is a state with a lot of forest and it makes you wonder if the settlers ran into these creatures? It may have been something people did not talk about due to religious persecution and Witch trials. Have you had a Bigfoot or Cryptid encounter before and need someone to talk to? You can shoot me an email at sasquatchtheory@outlook.com. Thank you everyone for the support!

<v Speaker 1>Hey, everyone, and welcome to another Sasquatch Theory podcast. On
<v Speaker 1>this episode, we have Derek from New York and he
<v Speaker 1>had several cryptid encounters and experiences along with the paranormal
<v Speaker 1>UFOs and aliens. It's really hard for a person to
<v Speaker 1>deal with a bigfoot encounter, but when you experience other
<v Speaker 1>strange things throughout your life, it really leaves you questioning
<v Speaker 1>what is going on and there just doesn't seem to
<v Speaker 1>be an answer, and everyone theorizes as to what it
<v Speaker 1>could be. A lot of people say it's the nephilum,
<v Speaker 1>they say it's demonic, and some people think that certain
<v Speaker 1>people have abilities and gifts. What are your thoughts and
<v Speaker 1>theories about this and let me know down in the
<v Speaker 1>comments below. If you guys can, please like the video,
<v Speaker 1>subscribe to the channel, and if you have a bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>encounter you would like to share with me, please contact
<v Speaker 1>me sometime at Sasquatch Theory at outlooked Out. All right, guys,
<v Speaker 1>with all that being said, let's dive into Derek's encounters
<v Speaker 1>from the state of New York. Derek, Welcome to Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>How are you doing today?
<v Speaker 2>Not too bad yourself?
<v Speaker 3>I'm doing pretty good. Thank you so much for asking. Derek,
<v Speaker 3>you're from New York. If you would tell me a
<v Speaker 3>little bit about yourself, kind of where you're from and
<v Speaker 3>your bigfit encounters and experiences from the very beginning.
<v Speaker 2>Please, oh's Derek.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, I'm living in an upstate New York right now.
<v Speaker 4>I'm forty two years old. I was born down in
<v Speaker 4>Tennessee actually Severeville. Moved up here when I was five
<v Speaker 4>years old, so I'm basically a Northerner. But yeah, I
<v Speaker 4>cut down trees for a living and I like to
<v Speaker 4>go camping and hanging out outdoors. Been on a few
<v Speaker 4>hunting trips here and there. But I'm not like super
<v Speaker 4>well versed on that. So I know a little bit
<v Speaker 4>about the outdoors. I'm not completely ignorant on it. But yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I had some weird stuff happened to me when I
<v Speaker 4>was younger, and it's always always bothered me. I don't know,
<v Speaker 4>It's something that I've thought about pretty much on a
<v Speaker 4>daily basis since then because it was just so odd.
<v Speaker 2>But uh, yeah, I guess.
<v Speaker 4>My first encounter that I that I really significant one
<v Speaker 4>that I had a friend of mine and I were
<v Speaker 4>sitting at a park that was behind my house. Now,
<v Speaker 4>at the time, I was probably about I want to say,
<v Speaker 4>fifteen years old. I lived in this little town called
<v Speaker 4>Clifton Park, upstate New York. It's in the middle upper
<v Speaker 4>class area. It was much sleepier when I was growing
<v Speaker 4>up there. There was a lot more woods. It's more
<v Speaker 4>developed now, but there's nature preserves around the area.
<v Speaker 2>It's you know, got a guy frond there.
<v Speaker 4>I grew up, you know, ride my bike down to
<v Speaker 4>the nature preserve and fishing and going on hikes to
<v Speaker 4>the woods and whatnot. And actually in my neighborhood there
<v Speaker 4>was h you know, patches of woods and little bike
<v Speaker 4>paths that ran through them and parks and whatnot. And
<v Speaker 4>a friend of mine and I were sitting at a
<v Speaker 4>playground behind my house, probably about four hundred yards from
<v Speaker 4>from the backyard of my house. And these little bike paths,
<v Speaker 4>you know, they neandered throughout the neighborhood and they'd have
<v Speaker 4>playgrounds periodically, and we were sitting at one of them
<v Speaker 4>and there you go around right on the edge of
<v Speaker 4>the woods. We heard something moving through the woods as
<v Speaker 4>we were sitting there in the dark, just talking, just
<v Speaker 4>you know, teenager, you know, shooting the breeze and we
<v Speaker 4>hear something moving around in the woods. And at first
<v Speaker 4>it didn't really you know, we didn't pay any attention.
<v Speaker 4>We didn't really thought it was something a little scurrying about.
<v Speaker 4>It eventually gets louder and louder we realized it's something,
<v Speaker 4>you know, bipedal footsteps, crunch, crunch, crunch, stomping through the woods.
<v Speaker 4>And these particular paths of woods. My friends and I
<v Speaker 4>had made a bunch of paths that ran in and out,
<v Speaker 4>you know, all through the woods, and we built forts
<v Speaker 4>back there, and you know, we were always exploring back there,
<v Speaker 4>so we knew these woods fairly well. And as we're
<v Speaker 4>sitting there, you know, we hear this thing stomping through
<v Speaker 4>the woods.
<v Speaker 2>And the part of the woods it was coming through
<v Speaker 2>it was a very.
<v Speaker 4>Very overgrown nasty brambles, but there was briers.
<v Speaker 2>It was.
<v Speaker 4>It was awful. It was you know, we've been through
<v Speaker 4>that part of the woods before and even in the
<v Speaker 4>winter time, you know, with no foliage or anything. We
<v Speaker 4>had to crawl on our hands and knees to get
<v Speaker 4>through it because it was just so thick. And whatever
<v Speaker 4>this was was march and right to it. Just stop,
<v Speaker 4>stop and it started getting louder and closer, and I
<v Speaker 4>remember thinking that, you know, maybe it was one of
<v Speaker 4>the older teenagers in the area. They used to go
<v Speaker 4>back there and party and stuff and drink beer or whatever,
<v Speaker 4>and you know, we were a little bit younger, so
<v Speaker 4>they would kind of scare us and mess with us
<v Speaker 4>every once in a while if they encountered us back there.
<v Speaker 2>So I kind of thought maybe it was.
<v Speaker 4>One of them at first, but I remember, like it
<v Speaker 4>it got so just loud. I remember actually I remember
<v Speaker 4>feeling the footsteps like in the ground, Like I stood
<v Speaker 4>up the back away from the woods, and I could
<v Speaker 4>like crunch, like you could feel them.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, uh.
<v Speaker 4>So we're we're hearing this get closer and closer to us,
<v Speaker 4>and it's getting louder and louder, and we're just frozen,
<v Speaker 4>kind of looking, you know, at the at the woodline. Now,
<v Speaker 4>like I said, there there was bike paths you know
<v Speaker 4>that ran throughout the neighborhood and were at the little playground,
<v Speaker 4>you know. Uh, on the other side of the little
<v Speaker 4>park there was people's backyards, like their fences you know
<v Speaker 4>to the backyard and their back porch lights. My one
<v Speaker 4>friend micd his houses right there and his back porch
<v Speaker 4>light thrown onto the park, but it was far away,
<v Speaker 4>so it was kind of just very dimly lit, but
<v Speaker 4>we could see the edge of the woods about a
<v Speaker 4>foot or so in and beyond that it was just
<v Speaker 4>pitched back. And I remember we backed away, probably about
<v Speaker 4>twenty feet away from the edge of the woods, and
<v Speaker 4>we're just staring at the trees where this noise is
<v Speaker 4>coming from, and the safflings at the edge of the woods.
<v Speaker 4>I remember seeing them just start to like shake violently
<v Speaker 4>back and forth, as if something very large was pushing
<v Speaker 4>its way through them. And I saw a very large,
<v Speaker 4>probably I want to say, a ten foot tall, just
<v Speaker 4>jet black mass, you know, just emerge and that was
<v Speaker 4>it for me.
<v Speaker 2>I was done. And that's when I ran and the yeah, I.
<v Speaker 4>Ran all the way down the bike path out to
<v Speaker 4>the road in front of my house and my friend
<v Speaker 4>he was a little a little huskier than me, so
<v Speaker 4>he was a little behind, and he was yelling at
<v Speaker 4>me about that too as he ran.
<v Speaker 2>Out, Why did you leave me behind?
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, so that was that was very strange. We
<v Speaker 4>just kind of looked at each other and laughed, like,
<v Speaker 4>what in the heck was that? You know, and then
<v Speaker 4>on inside and that was that. And to be honest
<v Speaker 4>with you, I don't know that we ever discussed it
<v Speaker 4>after that, and I actually remember thinking of it when
<v Speaker 4>we were adults. I want to say, like, maybe I'm
<v Speaker 4>forty two now and we still talk to each other,
<v Speaker 4>and maybe ten years ago I said, brought it up
<v Speaker 4>to him and I mentioned it, and he's like, I
<v Speaker 4>have no idea what you're talking.
<v Speaker 2>About, but I know for a fact that happened.
<v Speaker 4>Like this is not just like like I said, this
<v Speaker 4>is like something I've thought of daily. And at the time,
<v Speaker 4>I I didn't understand, you know, what it could be.
<v Speaker 4>To be honest with you, it was just a mystery
<v Speaker 4>to me. But I would think about it, like very
<v Speaker 4>often because I always wondered what in the heck that was.
<v Speaker 4>And then I started, you know, I started kind of
<v Speaker 4>getting more into YouTube and finding out that there's like
<v Speaker 4>a ton of stories out there people talking about this,
<v Speaker 4>and I kind of I've always been interested in the
<v Speaker 4>subjects in general, so I started listening to stories, and
<v Speaker 4>wouldn't you know it, you know, a few months later,
<v Speaker 4>I'd heard my exact same story about three hundred something times,
<v Speaker 4>and I figured Oh that's maybe you would have all
<v Speaker 4>it walked up on me. It was a big pot
<v Speaker 4>And it's so strange for me even just saying that
<v Speaker 4>right now, because it was in the middle of this
<v Speaker 4>residential neighborhood, you know, like what what but uh, But
<v Speaker 4>like I said, you know, there was woods all through
<v Speaker 4>there and the pats, the patch of woods that was
<v Speaker 4>behind my house.
<v Speaker 2>You could walk theoretically walk from.
<v Speaker 4>That patch of woods to a nature preserve that was
<v Speaker 4>down the road and be in the tree line the
<v Speaker 4>entire time, because it was much less developed back then,
<v Speaker 4>there was only little pockets of neighborhoods. But yeah, that
<v Speaker 4>was that was one thing that was like the most significant,
<v Speaker 4>like in your face, like, yeah, that's definitely something strange
<v Speaker 4>that happened to me.
<v Speaker 2>But I do I got other weird things that happened
<v Speaker 2>to me that you know. Again, actually listening to more
<v Speaker 2>and more stories, I think.
<v Speaker 4>That maybe they could be attributed to some sort of
<v Speaker 4>activity with these creatures.
<v Speaker 2>In some way.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, it's just it's a very strange phenomenon and it's
<v Speaker 4>pretty difficult to talk about the people, to be honest
<v Speaker 4>with you, because yeah, most of the time you just
<v Speaker 4>get looked at it like you're an alien.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know, well if you would go into it,
<v Speaker 3>and I won't judge you on all ears. And I've
<v Speaker 3>heard a lot of strange stuff, So you're in good
<v Speaker 3>hands here.
<v Speaker 2>I can. I've heard the stories.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, so, uh, I mean, I suppose they're not
<v Speaker 4>really super like really that bad. It's just in general,
<v Speaker 4>when you talk about things like this, people are like, yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 4>you know, unless they've had any sort of significant encounter themselves,
<v Speaker 4>they can't really put themselves in your shoes.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, but uh so I remember this.
<v Speaker 4>I actually I want to say that this actually was
<v Speaker 4>on my sixteenth birthday because I remember it was a
<v Speaker 4>birthday party of mine. It was my birthday is in August,
<v Speaker 4>August twenty nine, so I remember that. Yeah, it was
<v Speaker 4>like a sleepover I was having for my birthday. I
<v Speaker 4>was having some funds over and we were in a
<v Speaker 4>tent in my backyard. Now no, like I said that
<v Speaker 4>that part that I had that other encounter at it's
<v Speaker 4>like almost literally a stone stow away from where we are,
<v Speaker 4>Like I can see it easily gets right there. So
<v Speaker 4>we were all in the tent and we're just you know,
<v Speaker 4>doing whatever teenagers do part and around. Yeah, we kind
<v Speaker 4>of stopped talking and like I can't, I really I
<v Speaker 4>cannot remember who fed something first, but I do remember
<v Speaker 4>we all stopped talking and then there was a general
<v Speaker 4>consensus between all of us.
<v Speaker 2>Like yeah, it sounds like there is something.
<v Speaker 4>Like we were in the backyard, and around the entire
<v Speaker 4>backyard was this like eight foot tall, you know, wooden fence,
<v Speaker 4>and it sounded like something was jumping over the fence
<v Speaker 4>on one side, running across the yard, and then jumping
<v Speaker 4>over the fence on the other side, and it was
<v Speaker 4>running back and forth through the yard, just jumping over
<v Speaker 4>the fence again and again.
<v Speaker 2>And that's and it was so strange.
<v Speaker 4>Because it was like you couldn't you couldn't hear the
<v Speaker 4>fence moving, you know, you couldn't like directly like okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>like you hear somebody watching themselves over the fence and
<v Speaker 4>then blood don't, don't, don't and stop across it. It
<v Speaker 4>wasn't like that at all, which is just the strangest thing.
<v Speaker 4>But like you couldn't really like here any I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>I really don't know how to explain it. Then, I
<v Speaker 4>really don't. It's so strange.
<v Speaker 2>To me like you.
<v Speaker 4>Couldn't hear it, you just knew it felt like it
<v Speaker 4>felt like I don't know, and we all like like
<v Speaker 4>this was like we all like we weren't feeding off
<v Speaker 4>of each other, like this was like we all genuinely
<v Speaker 4>this is what we the you know, the impression we
<v Speaker 4>were getting from what was going on. I don't know,
<v Speaker 4>It's just it was very strange. It was enough to
<v Speaker 4>make us all stop what we were doing and sit
<v Speaker 4>there for about ten minutes, dead silent, listening and you
<v Speaker 4>couldn't hear anything. So we all decided to as slowly
<v Speaker 4>and quietly as we can, unzit.
<v Speaker 2>The tent and get out.
<v Speaker 4>And we all think there was about six or seven
<v Speaker 4>of us all together, and we all just kind of
<v Speaker 4>single file get out of the tent and fan out
<v Speaker 4>and all and stood in the backyard in the blackness
<v Speaker 4>and just stood there looking off.
<v Speaker 2>Towards the woods that were behind my house.
<v Speaker 4>And we're standing there looking out into the woods, and
<v Speaker 4>as we do, I remember hearing this just absolutely naughty,
<v Speaker 4>like I don't know, animal call of some variety. I
<v Speaker 4>think that we all decided it was a combination of
<v Speaker 4>a woman screaming a baby crying a monkey and some
<v Speaker 4>type of bird. As strange as that sounds, but we
<v Speaker 4>were teenagers. That was what we came up with. It
<v Speaker 4>was a very weird, weird call. I could not even
<v Speaker 4>hope to try to recreate it in any sort of manner,
<v Speaker 4>but it was loud and it was very strange, and
<v Speaker 4>we heard that noise. It sounded as if it was,
<v Speaker 4>you know, within twenty to thirty yards of the woodline
<v Speaker 4>at the edge of the woodland to my backyard. And
<v Speaker 4>then almost immediately after that, like a second or two,
<v Speaker 4>there was a responding called the same variety that was
<v Speaker 4>like way way farther back in the woods. And yeah,
<v Speaker 4>that was that was that. Uh yeah, again, we all
<v Speaker 4>we just kind of what, what in the world was
<v Speaker 4>that kind of thing? You know, again, I didn't have
<v Speaker 4>any sort of reference as to what this might be,
<v Speaker 4>as like, I've never heard stories of this nature. I'd
<v Speaker 4>never heard of anything like that in the area.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I just it was so strange.
<v Speaker 4>And since then I have listened to numerous animals calls
<v Speaker 4>and recordings and just any anything you can think of,
<v Speaker 4>and you know, recently I was listening to speak about
<v Speaker 4>foxes and the crazy noises they can make, and holy
<v Speaker 4>work they can they can sound crazy, but yeah, I
<v Speaker 4>I have yet to hear anything that sounded like it.
<v Speaker 2>That was strange.
<v Speaker 4>And another night I was by myself. I was right
<v Speaker 4>around the same age. I can't remember specifically when and
<v Speaker 4>and chronologically.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know when these events happened.
<v Speaker 4>Honestly, it's you know, it's been a while, And like
<v Speaker 4>I said, I do think of, you know, the especially
<v Speaker 4>the instance at the park where like I saw the
<v Speaker 4>the mass at the end of the shaking of those trees.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I figured that a lot, but I don't.
<v Speaker 4>I don't recall well enough to know chronologically when these
<v Speaker 4>all happened. In the course it's with each other. I
<v Speaker 4>apologize for that. I can't really remember that. But yeah,
<v Speaker 4>there was another night I was down in the basement
<v Speaker 4>of my house. The houses in the area were these,
<v Speaker 4>I think they told them, like split level lanches. You'd
<v Speaker 4>walk in the front door, there's like a little ground
<v Speaker 4>level foyer and then stairs to a downstairs level and
<v Speaker 4>stares to an upstairs level. No, I was downstairs. My
<v Speaker 4>bedroom was downstairs, and like my bedroom windows were like
<v Speaker 4>at ground level, so it was like half you know,
<v Speaker 4>half in the ground. And I was down there one
<v Speaker 4>night watching TV and my dog started to go berserk
<v Speaker 4>like about something that was in the back area of
<v Speaker 4>my house. I don't know where, like specifically. It was
<v Speaker 4>like if maybe it was something that was like looking
<v Speaker 4>in the bathroom window right there, because from where I at,
<v Speaker 4>the bathroom door was right ahead of me.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, I was.
<v Speaker 4>I was sitting on the couch downstairs and my dog
<v Speaker 4>started to look down this hallway and I thought she
<v Speaker 4>was getting excited about one of my cats, because she
<v Speaker 4>was his dope border Collie mix and she just loved
<v Speaker 4>to chase anything. So she would mess with my cats
<v Speaker 4>all the time, you know, much of their triggering. But
<v Speaker 4>I thought she was getting excited about one of them.
<v Speaker 4>She was about to chase it. But if I and
<v Speaker 4>what is that, go get it. If I said go
<v Speaker 4>get it to that dog, that gave her license to
<v Speaker 4>go chase down whatever it was she was interested in,
<v Speaker 4>she would take off and she refused to move.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, go go get it, what is that?
<v Speaker 2>And Nope, she was not having any of that. She
<v Speaker 2>just she sat down, looked down the hallway, looked back
<v Speaker 2>and forth at me.
<v Speaker 4>She kind of gave me like a little and I
<v Speaker 4>was like, what in the world are you doing? Like
<v Speaker 4>why are you?
<v Speaker 2>Why are you acting them like that?
<v Speaker 4>Just started to make me a little bit nervous, and
<v Speaker 4>and I remember, yeah, actually I completely forgot that. She
<v Speaker 4>actually ended up like getting like excited at one point,
<v Speaker 4>like she's looking down the hallway and she pops her
<v Speaker 4>head and she jumps back a little bit, and I'm like,
<v Speaker 4>what in the world, And I'm looking down the hallway
<v Speaker 4>and to pitch blackness, like what why are you acting
<v Speaker 4>like that? And she ran over to me and she
<v Speaker 4>buried herself underneath my legs, in between my legs and
<v Speaker 4>the bottom of the couch. And he scared me, you know,
<v Speaker 4>because I'm down there in the dark mind myself, you know.
<v Speaker 4>And so I'm like, you know, you're supposed to comfort me,
<v Speaker 4>Now hide behind me. So I jumped up onto the
<v Speaker 4>couch all the way, and she jumped right up on
<v Speaker 4>the couch with me, and she buried herself behind my
<v Speaker 4>back into the couch cushions, and she was shivering, like
<v Speaker 4>she was shaking, like she wanted to hide from whatever
<v Speaker 4>it was it was down that hallway. And it flipped
<v Speaker 4>me out. Man I'm trying to reach for the lamp
<v Speaker 4>to my side out, taking my eyes off the hallway,
<v Speaker 4>and I got that light on.
<v Speaker 2>And then I yeah, I ran through.
<v Speaker 4>I turned on every single light that was down I
<v Speaker 4>had the bathroom light on, my bedroom at the computer
<v Speaker 4>desk light on, everything. All the lights were on down there.
<v Speaker 4>I was terrified, but uh, yeah, I have no idea
<v Speaker 4>what in.
<v Speaker 2>The world that was.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if there was something looking in the
<v Speaker 4>bathroom window that was exciting her or what or I
<v Speaker 4>have no clue because I also, you know, see, it's
<v Speaker 4>like I feel like I'm opening up the damn ridiculousness here,
<v Speaker 4>like almost like I'm just oh, yeah, and you saw
<v Speaker 4>the nots too, and you saw it put seriously like
<v Speaker 4>you used to see like shadow people or whatever you
<v Speaker 4>want to call it. In that house. It was strange.
<v Speaker 4>I wasn't the only person that saw them. I had
<v Speaker 4>several friends come up to me like there's nobody else here,
<v Speaker 4>and I'm like, yeah, there's no one else here, just us.
<v Speaker 4>And I saw somebody like you know, out of the
<v Speaker 4>corner of my eye, and yeah, all the time, like
<v Speaker 4>I would be.
<v Speaker 2>It happened mainly in the upstairs living room area.
<v Speaker 4>But yeah, I would see something out of the corner
<v Speaker 4>of my eye run from like the top of the
<v Speaker 4>stairs to the upstairs hall way or vice versa.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>It's a lot, to the point that I just started
<v Speaker 4>ignoring it, to be honest, because it was just like,
<v Speaker 4>I'm all right, that's the thing that happens whatever. I
<v Speaker 4>have no idea what it is. But sometimes I turn
<v Speaker 4>around just give it the finger, you know, like it
<v Speaker 4>was angry, little rebellious teenager whatever. But uh, yeah, that
<v Speaker 4>was weird.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah that is what do you think it was.
<v Speaker 2>Too? For sure? But I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>The more I listened to other people talk about stuff
<v Speaker 4>like is and the more the more stories I hear,
<v Speaker 4>you know, I just really I believe in energy.
<v Speaker 2>You know, good and bad.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know, I think that maybe there was some
<v Speaker 4>sort of really bad energy in that house because.
<v Speaker 2>Some bad things happened there, you.
<v Speaker 4>Know, before I got there, before I got there, and
<v Speaker 4>while I was there. You know, it's like I don't
<v Speaker 4>really want to get into it. I kind of had
<v Speaker 4>some personal stuff going on there, but uh yeah, I
<v Speaker 4>remember like the family that lived there before, Like people
<v Speaker 4>would say things about the people that lived there, the
<v Speaker 4>family that lived there before, and I guess there was
<v Speaker 4>a lot of turmoil. It was just kind of insanity
<v Speaker 4>came out of that house, you know. And there was
<v Speaker 4>a few instances, like there was a bunch of stories
<v Speaker 4>I would hear about the lady that lived there and
<v Speaker 4>how crazy she seemed, and some of the stories that
<v Speaker 4>she would tell people, like she ran down the road
<v Speaker 4>and was banging on my friend's doors swearing that somebody
<v Speaker 4>had cut the power off to her house and there
<v Speaker 4>was someone trying to break in.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>I wonder if like it that can be some of
<v Speaker 4>that can be attributed to the same energy that I
<v Speaker 4>was witnessing and encountering. I don't know, but I do
<v Speaker 4>think that there can be places where negative energy can
<v Speaker 4>accumulate or settle. I don't know how it happens. I
<v Speaker 4>don't know if it's put there, if it just builds
<v Speaker 4>up there. But yeah, I think this stuff like that
<v Speaker 4>can happen. And I think that I don't know because
<v Speaker 4>also in that house is the only time in my
<v Speaker 4>life that I can recall ever experiencing sleep paralysis. And again,
<v Speaker 4>at the time, I had no idea what it was
<v Speaker 4>no clue. I'd never heard about it, nothing at all.
<v Speaker 4>But I experienced it, you know, several times, and I
<v Speaker 4>remember terrifying me and I after leaving that house, I
<v Speaker 4>never experienced it again ever that one time, and then
<v Speaker 4>I again, I started hearing stories and people explaining it.
<v Speaker 4>I'm like, that's what that was. That's strange. But yeah,
<v Speaker 4>that was a strange house.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, Well, I appreciate you for sharing that. And what
<v Speaker 3>else has happened? Do you have any more experiences that
<v Speaker 3>you'd like to share?
<v Speaker 4>Well, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>The most recent things that have happened.
<v Speaker 4>To me is h I saw a couple of UFOs
<v Speaker 4>that was just whatever, but I did get it confirmed
<v Speaker 4>a week later. There was a numerous reports in the
<v Speaker 4>area and a couple of people got videos of it.
<v Speaker 4>It is like around waterwe New York a couple of
<v Speaker 4>years ago. I live right next to the Waterlead Arsenal.
<v Speaker 4>It's this big military facility. But uh yeah, no, the
<v Speaker 4>I you know, talking about the ORBS thing, that's just like, uh,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know. I I saw one of those in
<v Speaker 4>my backyard one time, bright blue size of a tennis
<v Speaker 4>ball about and uh yeah, I saw it. Zi from
<v Speaker 4>like the top of my house into the tree in
<v Speaker 4>my backyard, and I immediately because I was I was
<v Speaker 4>facing it, and it went from my left to my right,
<v Speaker 4>and I saw it, and I immediately ran with it
<v Speaker 4>to like try to follow it and see what it went.
<v Speaker 4>And it like I clearly saw it, and it zipped
<v Speaker 4>from the top of my house right into the tree
<v Speaker 4>in the back corner of my house and then disappeared.
<v Speaker 4>It was gone, and that was strained, and I was
<v Speaker 4>in the there's a line right away, I want to
<v Speaker 4>say about them all down the road to me and
<v Speaker 4>I recently tobably, like a year or so ago, I
<v Speaker 4>wanted to explore because I've been trying to find areas
<v Speaker 4>that are close to me that I've been hiking to
<v Speaker 4>and little patches of woods because you know, I'm getting
<v Speaker 4>more I've been getting more and more interested in this phenomenon,
<v Speaker 4>I guess if you want to call it, and.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, So I just want to get out
<v Speaker 2>of the woods more and more. So. Yeah, So I
<v Speaker 2>walked walked down this whole.
<v Speaker 4>Power line right away from one side to the other
<v Speaker 4>and explored it a little bit and found this one
<v Speaker 4>patch I could walk into from my side. So I
<v Speaker 4>was up there one night and hanging out and I
<v Speaker 4>got chased out of the woods by a pack of coyotes.
<v Speaker 4>And I was amazed by that because there's literally houses
<v Speaker 4>like right there. I wouldn't expect there to be coyotes
<v Speaker 4>like that, but that's what it sounded like like. I
<v Speaker 4>had a recording of it and everything. You could hear
<v Speaker 4>the branches breaking like from the bushes.
<v Speaker 2>Like they were they were right there.
<v Speaker 4>But I ran away and as soon as I got
<v Speaker 4>out to the road, like the instant I made it
<v Speaker 4>out on the road, to sound stopped immediately.
<v Speaker 2>It was dead silent.
<v Speaker 4>So I don't know if that was like a pack
<v Speaker 4>of coyotes that chased me or something that wanted to
<v Speaker 4>sound like it, or I know that sounds.
<v Speaker 2>Stupid because some people probably, but I don't know.
<v Speaker 4>I've heard that there's you know, these things can mimic
<v Speaker 4>the sound of whatever the heck they want to if
<v Speaker 4>they want. I don't know, because it's just it. It
<v Speaker 4>amazed one. It amazed me that a pack of coyotes like,
<v Speaker 4>because I went back there and I was not back
<v Speaker 4>there long, and then I heard a howl and then
<v Speaker 4>a second one that sounded like it was directed right
<v Speaker 4>at me, and then an immediate response of like the pack,
<v Speaker 4>and then they ran closer and closer.
<v Speaker 2>They got closer and closer.
<v Speaker 4>To me, and I was like, there's no way, there's
<v Speaker 4>no way, and they just got so loud it scared me,
<v Speaker 4>and I'm like, yeah, I'm out.
<v Speaker 2>Of here, and I ran. It's probably about.
<v Speaker 4>Two three hundred yards into the woods maybe, and I
<v Speaker 4>ran out, and as soon as I got out to
<v Speaker 4>like the instant I got out to the road, it
<v Speaker 4>was dead silent.
<v Speaker 2>I have no idea what in the world that was
<v Speaker 2>all about.
<v Speaker 4>That was strange, But yeah, those are the most recent
<v Speaker 4>encounters I've had.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, I appreciate you for sharing all of that with me.
<v Speaker 3>And do you feel like there's a correlation between the
<v Speaker 3>cryptid encounter, the paranormal encounter, and the UFO experiences.
<v Speaker 4>I have no clue. I don't know, like I definitely
<v Speaker 4>think that. I mean, you know, I've heard stories from
<v Speaker 4>people that it sounds like it's a very credible correlation there,
<v Speaker 4>you know, and uh, definitely for sure in some instances.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know if my personal experiences have any correlation
<v Speaker 4>or if it just I just happen. You have seen
<v Speaker 4>some strange stuff here and there, you know, and I.
<v Speaker 2>Happened to notice it more than others. I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>They have no clue. I don't know if.
<v Speaker 4>I've been peg or singled out or I would say
<v Speaker 4>probably not because I hi leaked.
<v Speaker 2>Doubt I'm anything.
<v Speaker 4>Special anyway, but uh.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't. I don't think that.
<v Speaker 4>But I have no clue. I don't know if they
<v Speaker 4>could be related or not. But their strength man definitely.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>And whenever you saw the ten foot creature, could you
<v Speaker 3>see any features on it?
<v Speaker 5>Or was it nighttime?
<v Speaker 4>It was nighttime. And the only thing that I remember
<v Speaker 4>seeing is just I don't really even have any sort
<v Speaker 4>of definition to it other than it was just like
<v Speaker 4>a big black mass that was definitely.
<v Speaker 2>I had to look up.
<v Speaker 4>To it, you know, when I was twenty feet away
<v Speaker 4>and I was looking up to the top of it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 4>and I saw the tree shake and then that was
<v Speaker 4>like and it was very.
<v Speaker 2>Wide, like it was.
<v Speaker 4>It was accordingly wide to something that would be that dull,
<v Speaker 4>you know, just very.
<v Speaker 2>Very massive. It was huge.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it sounds like and I'm not surprised that your
<v Speaker 3>friend didn't acknowledge the experience. Years later, I've had the
<v Speaker 3>same with one of my friends whenever we were driving
<v Speaker 3>down a highway and we encountered what I call a
<v Speaker 3>hell hound. It jumped into the middle of the road,
<v Speaker 3>snatched up this possum, and then jump back into the woods.
<v Speaker 3>And years later I asked my friend, Hey, do you
<v Speaker 3>remember that weird dog that we've seen on the highway?
<v Speaker 3>And he just didn't acknowledge me. He said he didn't remember,
<v Speaker 3>and I was like, Okay, that's kind of strange.
<v Speaker 2>Is that so frustrating? Man?
<v Speaker 4>You're just like, calm a man, Like, how do you
<v Speaker 4>forget something like that?
<v Speaker 2>Man? And if you do remember, why would you want
<v Speaker 2>to just shrug it off? Come? Are you not curious?
<v Speaker 4>Like?
<v Speaker 5>Right? Because he was just as shocked as I was.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, right, Like, because I remember, like I ran out
<v Speaker 4>of the woods and then he ran up on I'd like,
<v Speaker 4>what the heck is.
<v Speaker 2>Wrong with you back there? You're like, yeah, man, he.
<v Speaker 4>Was just as affected by that as I was. I
<v Speaker 4>don't have no idea why he would just refuse to
<v Speaker 4>acknowledge it. And you know, you know, man, I'm so
<v Speaker 4>glad that you said that, because there was I was
<v Speaker 4>trying to remember this, and again, I hope.
<v Speaker 2>You know listen.
<v Speaker 4>To be honest with you, at this point, I've had
<v Speaker 4>so much redicuel about stuff like this. I honestly don't
<v Speaker 4>care if people believe me or not. Really, I could
<v Speaker 4>care less. My whole reason.
<v Speaker 2>That I'm even talking about this at all is because it's.
<v Speaker 4>Something that I've thought about so frequently, so much, and
<v Speaker 4>been so confused by, and I feel so alone in
<v Speaker 4>it because there's nobody that I know directly that I
<v Speaker 4>can talk to that says, yes, I know what you're
<v Speaker 4>talking about. I understand that. And it's just like I
<v Speaker 4>know these things happen to me, you know, But yeah, no,
<v Speaker 4>this is like this isn't really as much as uh,
<v Speaker 4>an actual experience per se, but it was kind of
<v Speaker 4>like it's a recurring dreams. Like, would you mind if
<v Speaker 4>I speak about that a little bit?
<v Speaker 5>Yeah? Absolutely, I'm all ears man.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so you mentioned the whole the hell hound thing.
<v Speaker 4>Uh.
<v Speaker 2>I remember when I was you know, when I was younger.
<v Speaker 4>I remember, for some reason, I want to say, like
<v Speaker 4>around the ages of like four and five, maybe I
<v Speaker 4>would have very very vivid and recurring nightmares of being
<v Speaker 4>chased by a werewolf with red glowing eyes.
<v Speaker 2>At the time.
<v Speaker 4>And you know, see this, like I said, I was,
<v Speaker 4>I was born down in Tennessee. At the time, I
<v Speaker 4>was living in uh Severeville or Gatlinburg, one of the
<v Speaker 4>two is right there. But yet at the time that
<v Speaker 4>these nightmares were occurring, and like they were like many
<v Speaker 4>times and very very vivid to like I mean, terrifying me.
<v Speaker 4>And I have no idea where that came from. That
<v Speaker 4>just started out of nowhere.
<v Speaker 2>And then and then later on around this time.
<v Speaker 4>That I lived in the neighborhood where you know, when
<v Speaker 4>I was a teenager when I had these other encounters,
<v Speaker 4>that same exact park that I had that that first
<v Speaker 4>encounter at, you know, the bike path that ran through it.
<v Speaker 4>One part of it started right next to my house,
<v Speaker 4>so I could go down that path next to my house,
<v Speaker 4>ride down a little waves goes through that park and
<v Speaker 4>then it went through like this tunnel canopy of trees,
<v Speaker 4>and it was another I want to say, one hundred
<v Speaker 4>and fifty two hundred yards about and you get out
<v Speaker 4>to one of the main roads and there.
<v Speaker 2>Was a street light out there.
<v Speaker 4>But in between like from that turn through that canopy
<v Speaker 4>of trees out to the street light where the road was.
<v Speaker 4>It was pitched black in there, like you could not
<v Speaker 4>see anything. It was just darker than dark.
<v Speaker 2>And there was this a husky that lived in one
<v Speaker 2>of the houses right there.
<v Speaker 4>So his backyard was right there at the bend of
<v Speaker 4>the trail, right where you know, the canopy started. And
<v Speaker 4>his name was Shadow, and he would be out there
<v Speaker 4>at night sometimes and you know, as teenagers, we'd be
<v Speaker 4>walking down the like path and then add of nowhere
<v Speaker 4>because his fence was probably about twenty feet away from
<v Speaker 4>the edge of the trail maybe, so he'd start barking,
<v Speaker 4>you know, and just catch you off guard and scare
<v Speaker 4>the pagisas at you and we always screw you Shadow,
<v Speaker 4>you know, and they're always yelling them. But for some
<v Speaker 4>reason I started having me is crazy recurring dreams where
<v Speaker 4>I'd be riding my bike because I had a really
<v Speaker 4>nice mountain bike and I rode everywhere. I was almost
<v Speaker 4>getting into it competitively, is how much I was into it.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, so I would have.
<v Speaker 4>These dreams where I'd be riding my bike and as
<v Speaker 4>I was going down that path, I'd be looking over
<v Speaker 4>the Shadows yard and he wouldn't be there, and then
<v Speaker 4>I'd look to my right and he was standing on
<v Speaker 4>the other side of the path, outside of his fence,
<v Speaker 4>and he had glowing red eyes and he was growling it.
<v Speaker 4>And then that would like pretty much terrify me away basically,
<v Speaker 4>And that happened like many, many, many times.
<v Speaker 2>And I have no idea where that came from, Like,
<v Speaker 2>no clue.
<v Speaker 4>I didn't know anything about dog Man at the time.
<v Speaker 4>I had never heard stories about that. I had no clue,
<v Speaker 4>you know, other than from like maybe a handful of
<v Speaker 4>movies here and there, you seeing stuff, But I didn't
<v Speaker 4>really know anything specifically about that. But yeah, like I
<v Speaker 4>have no idea what in the wood. And then when
<v Speaker 4>I did ride, when I actually was like awake and
<v Speaker 4>riding my bike through there, I remember when I got
<v Speaker 4>to that patch, I would ride like my life depended
<v Speaker 4>on it.
<v Speaker 2>I have no idea why.
<v Speaker 4>Every single time I rode my bike through there, I
<v Speaker 4>would feel the need to ride as fast as I
<v Speaker 4>humanly could. And I always felt like something was like
<v Speaker 4>like the hair on the back of my neck was
<v Speaker 4>standing up, like something was about to grab me. That's
<v Speaker 4>how I felt every single time I went down it.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, yeah, that is interesting and do you feel
<v Speaker 3>like these things are able to get into your dreams?
<v Speaker 4>I sure hope not. I wouldn't put it past it.
<v Speaker 4>To be honest with you, Like I said, I believe
<v Speaker 4>in energy man. You know, it seems like it's becoming
<v Speaker 4>more and more apparent that you know vibrations and the
<v Speaker 4>frequency of stuff. You know, you can really manipulate stuff
<v Speaker 4>if you understand frequencies and vibrations of things. And I
<v Speaker 4>think if you can manipulate vibrations and frequencies and you
<v Speaker 4>can manipulate matter and do whatever you want.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, that's a great theory.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, So do you feel like you're going to have
<v Speaker 3>another encounter again in the future.
<v Speaker 4>Well, to be honest with you, I plan to try.
<v Speaker 4>There's an area that I have my sights on up
<v Speaker 4>in the Adirondacks, and I've been.
<v Speaker 2>Trying to find the time. I'm just don dizzy, you know.
<v Speaker 4>I cut trees for a living, and I've stored of
<v Speaker 4>my own small business. Going and trying to keep that
<v Speaker 4>out of float is quite fun. But yeah, I've been
<v Speaker 4>trying to find the time to go to a specific
<v Speaker 4>area and the added index. To be honest with you,
<v Speaker 4>because I don't know why but I feel drawn to it.
<v Speaker 4>I can't stop thinking about it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that is interesting. I've interviewed a guy from your
<v Speaker 3>same exact area that cuts trees and he had an
<v Speaker 3>encounter in that same forest.
<v Speaker 4>I don't doubt it. It's pretty sixty million miles of
<v Speaker 4>weirdness out there.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, it's a lot of woods, for sure.
<v Speaker 3>When people think of New York, they think of New
<v Speaker 3>York City, But the truth is there's a ton.
<v Speaker 5>Of forests out there.
<v Speaker 4>It does not look like that at all. When I've
<v Speaker 4>driven two areas here that are just mind boggling, and
<v Speaker 4>you know, they're not that far away from me, you'd
<v Speaker 4>be amazed at some of the scenery, and it's just
<v Speaker 4>it's the geography here is amazing and there's a lot
<v Speaker 4>of hiding places for stuff out here. So yeah, man,
<v Speaker 4>I don't doubt that there is some really crazy stuff
<v Speaker 4>out there that.
<v Speaker 2>People don't know about.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah.
<v Speaker 3>Absolutely, And if you have an encounter in the future,
<v Speaker 3>feel free to reach back out to me, and I
<v Speaker 3>would like to hear about about what happens and see
<v Speaker 3>if there's a connection with what's happened with you in
<v Speaker 3>the past.
<v Speaker 2>Absolutely.
<v Speaker 4>I can't tell you how much I appreciate you getting
<v Speaker 4>back to me and as quickly as you did too,
<v Speaker 4>because I have no idea why I have been so
<v Speaker 4>apprehensive about this. I couldn't tell you, but it's like, I, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I just I feel like an enormous weight has been
<v Speaker 4>lifted off my chest right now. I just I can't
<v Speaker 4>even describe it. And I just I don't know why.
<v Speaker 4>I don't know what the significance of that is either,
<v Speaker 4>because like I've talked about this before with people, but
<v Speaker 4>I don't know, never in the sense that like, Okay,
<v Speaker 4>this person's taking me seriously. I guess that makes this
<v Speaker 4>world of difference. And I just want to thank you
<v Speaker 4>for you know, doing what you do.
<v Speaker 2>Man.
<v Speaker 4>Just seriously, I uh, this has just been such a
<v Speaker 4>wild ride, and I'm confused and perplexed and it's just
<v Speaker 4>unstoppably curious about this whole thing. And I just I
<v Speaker 4>really I'm glad that there's somebody that's trying to get
<v Speaker 4>us all together to help figure this all out together.
<v Speaker 2>Man, I just appreciate that.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's no problem, and I understand that it's difficult
<v Speaker 3>to find people to talk to. And you know, if
<v Speaker 3>you just had an encounter where you saw it cross
<v Speaker 3>the road and you think it's some unknown primate. You know,
<v Speaker 3>that's hard, but you can still talk to people about it.
<v Speaker 3>But whenever there's strange things that have taken place and
<v Speaker 3>you wonder, you know, what the heck happened? Is there
<v Speaker 3>a connection? Why did I experience the paranormal cryptid and UFOs?
<v Speaker 3>You know, it's really difficult to talk to other people
<v Speaker 3>about that.
<v Speaker 2>You get ridiculed pretty easily.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, absolutely, especially when you don't have an answer yourself
<v Speaker 3>and you're just wondering and it's real events that took place.
<v Speaker 4>Yeah, well, I really appreciate it, man, Thanks you really much.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's no problem. And like I said, just reach
<v Speaker 3>back out if you have another encounter. And I really
<v Speaker 3>appreciate you for getting in contact with me and sharing
<v Speaker 3>your experiences openly here on the platform.
<v Speaker 4>Well, I'm just uh, I'm glad to do it, and
<v Speaker 4>I hope it's worth listening too.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah. Absolutely. All right.
<v Speaker 3>Well I'm gonna let you go and you have an
<v Speaker 3>excellent Sunday, and I really appreciate your time.
<v Speaker 2>Man, thank you you as well. All right, bless ye.
<v Speaker 5>God, blessed take care of Derek.
<v Speaker 1>All right, Derek, thank you very much for sharing your
<v Speaker 1>encounters and experiences with me. And it's not a shock
<v Speaker 1>to me that these creatures are near houses in the woodline.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, as long as there's a wildlife area nearby,
<v Speaker 1>these creatures can move anywhere they want, especially during the nighttime. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's pretty common for people to shrug their shoulders raise
<v Speaker 1>their eyebrows at you whenever you try to share this
<v Speaker 1>type of information because a lot of people just don't understand.
<v Speaker 1>Without having these experiences yourself, it's really hard to relate
<v Speaker 1>to others. That is very interesting. The ninety nine percent
<v Speaker 1>of New York is nothing like New York City, and
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't doesn't surprise me because I've always heard that
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot of woods there and the national forests
<v Speaker 1>they are absolutely huge.
<v Speaker 3>Again, it's a state that it's very close to Canada,
<v Speaker 3>so going further north, there's just even more woods, and
<v Speaker 3>it makes sense that these creatures would most likely move
<v Speaker 3>down from Canada through New York and the Appalachian Mountains
<v Speaker 3>all the way down into Florida. It's just a giant
<v Speaker 3>set of woods through there, and a lot of people
<v Speaker 3>go out there hiking, hunting, camping, and I've heard a
<v Speaker 3>lot of strange stories. People run into unknown creatures all
<v Speaker 3>the time out there.
<v Speaker 1>But again, there's a big group of people that have
<v Speaker 1>never experienced anything throughout their life, and even people who
<v Speaker 1>are seasoned outdoorsmen who are out there all the time fishing, hunting,
<v Speaker 1>and exploring the woods. Which doesn't make sense why someone
<v Speaker 1>who's always out there doesn't experience anything, and someone who
<v Speaker 1>goes out there a couple of times experiences all kinds
<v Speaker 1>of activity. It certainly makes me feel like certain people
<v Speaker 1>are marked, and I talk about that all the time,
<v Speaker 1>whether people are tagged or not, or being followed by
<v Speaker 1>some unknown creature. But yeah, I appreciate everyone for listening today.
<v Speaker 1>It really means a lot.

<v Speaker 3>and until the next one, be safe and take care
