Episode 259 | Apparently Mal Needs Therapy
Mal needs therapy and from a specific type of person. We’re back to full strength after Mal’s historic rant last episode. Julian is back to share his perspective from Dreamville Fest and more (32:14). Mal continues to clarify his thoughts. In other beef news (that we have fueled) Chris Brown responds to Quavo on his deluxe album (45:31). In more serious news we send our condolences to Mister Cee (47:52). Then we’re told OJ Simpson passed away, which leads to a mixed review of his memorializing (51:43). This reminds Rory of an Aaron Hernandez documentary. It’s time for voicemails. We give some work advice (1:00:51) then give a gentleman advice on how to get laid (1:04:35). We close with Mal asking a wild question about a certain group of people (1:23:06). Tune in as the guys discuss all of this + more!

00:00:00 Speaker 1: Nothing's gonna happen. This is okay. 00:00:01 Speaker 2: This is a therapy. You hear me, Safer, This is my fucking therapy. You understand what I'm saying. Rosenberg, This is my therapy. 00:00:09 Speaker 1: You're worrying. 00:00:20 Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not entering the mode of the notorious Biggie Small Junior Mafia. 00:00:27 Speaker 1: Click. 00:00:28 Speaker 3: Represent. 00:00:29 Speaker 2: This was going out to Brooklyn. Y'all know what time it is. 00:00:34 Speaker 4: It's going after all the. 00:00:35 Speaker 2: Gangsters, all the pennants and players, holds and pictures. Y'all know what time it is. So this is what I want y'all to do. I want y'all to grab your Dutch masters and y'all white ass and y'all phillies. 00:00:48 Speaker 1: Get you a fat sack, kind of had a sea and laid back going through this. 00:00:53 Speaker 2: My man, mister c mister s but mall. 00:00:59 Speaker 1: Man, he wants warriors like I don't even. I don't know if you watch one app or care about one app. I don't care. 00:01:04 Speaker 2: I never. 00:01:05 Speaker 3: I don't think I met you if I have, in no disrespect, but I think you took this ship way too far. 00:01:11 Speaker 1: And here's another thing. I'm not gonna hate you for it. And if I ever see you, it's all good. I don't think anyone thought otherwise. 00:01:21 Speaker 5: This is never about him. 00:01:22 Speaker 1: What else? 00:01:25 Speaker 2: What else would it? First of all, I have met sche before. Shout to say, met him at Caroline's a couple of times. 00:01:29 Speaker 1: Spe is a great game. 00:01:30 Speaker 5: You're not memorable, shout. 00:01:31 Speaker 2: Out the Sypher. Maybe I'm not memorable. Whatever, But this is an interesting thing in all of this though, Like I've been seeing a lot of reactions over the past couple of days. You know, we have some time to kind of like, you know, my phone has been ringing, and it's kind of like, Okay, a lot of people are agreeing with what I said. Some people are like, oh, you know, Cole is you know, he's a man, and Waneps just Sipher just say, you know, it takes a man to do what he did. And all here's the interesting thing though, every last one of these dudes, I can go back to when Drake backed out of that battle will push you and they killed him for that probably, so Cole does it, and it takes a man to do what he did. And this is back to my point where people just don't like Drake. They want to see him fall, they want to see him fail. 00:02:14 Speaker 1: Everyone to Drake. 00:02:16 Speaker 3: Huh, but this this sife man, Come on, no, no, no, but this is this is we don't want to compliment Drake anymore. 00:02:21 Speaker 2: It's not about compliment Drake. Slow down. I understand where You're trying to go with it. Understand what I'm saying. When Drake did it, because all they it is all pretty connected. When Drake did it, Oh he's a Oh he acting because Drake's mom is a Jewish lady. That's why whatever you want to say, you should talk to his mother. People were upset about Drake backing out of the battle, right myself included Cole does it and now all of a sudden, I need therapy. I need therapy now based off of my reaction on Cold Why Just days before that happened, I said, Yo, three thousand and one, that's some of the best rapping I've heard him do. Kendrick might have a problem. He might be rapping better than both them. Right, I gave Cole all of his love before that. He did something that I just didn't agree with. That the culture, most of the culture doesn't agree with. We have literally a battle rap culture where dudes get on stage and battle each other. Some of these dudes, some of the bad after they finish these battles, they be right on hun thirty if and seven having soul food together eating it's all love. This wasn't no, you're trying to end and he tried to throw police brutality into that conversation too. 00:03:27 Speaker 1: What the fuck are y'all talking? But if you think about it, there was coining about cops of dreams off. 00:03:31 Speaker 2: I don't want to think about that. 00:03:33 Speaker 4: I don't The one thing I don't like about a lot of the reactions to your reaction is like, yes, these are our when you commentate on the culture, Yes, these are our opinions. But at the same time, this is entertainment and your job is to be entertaining. Thinking that you really lose and sleep at night because of what the fuck cold did in his free time when he's a fucking millionaire is insane. So center Pierre saying that you need therapy because of your reaction on an entertainment podcast. 00:04:00 Speaker 3: That's where I think everyone's trying trying to sound me smarter than they need to sound. 00:04:04 Speaker 2: And that's the problem everybody. 00:04:05 Speaker 3: Why why isn't the sight stop flex every night? When he ranted, now, what's wrong with passionately in media broadcasting podcasting, talking passionately about music and all to your ship. Blew my fucking mind. We treat this podcast shit like a barbershop. Everyone yells, we're passionate about music. We all care about music. That's what makes podcasting so dope. It's unfiltered music talk while everyone else is doing gossipy bullshit and all this other shit that's substance level. That really need fucking therapy. We can't argue about music now everyone's offended. Now we need therapy because we passionately argued about the genre we fucking love and about an artist, Jermaine Cole, who we love. 00:04:52 Speaker 1: We've bigged him up for. 00:04:53 Speaker 3: How long we've been potting at least ten years. We have been big in Jermaine Cole up for ten fucking years he does. That's one thing on stage that we question. And now it's an issue because we passionately discussed the genre we love. 00:05:06 Speaker 2: And I need therapy. And I will say you need. 00:05:08 Speaker 3: Therapy, but it's not because of your correct but for the wrong reason. I will tell you that you need to see Julie Greenwalll. I need to see a Jewish lady I don't know why. I don't know why Sipher will be telling a black man. 00:05:23 Speaker 2: From he needs to talk to a Jewish lady. 00:05:26 Speaker 4: I was complimenting us, a good person to talk so many black black therapist black woman. 00:05:31 Speaker 2: But if you if you have if you have any black the original, if you have any black male therapist that you can recommend me to, I will go see. I don't want to sit and talk to a Jewish lady. I want to talk to a black male. 00:05:44 Speaker 1: I think I think Scife was joking around a bit. 00:05:46 Speaker 2: I don't well whatever he was doing, but I'm just telling yours. Here's here's my reaction to it, Sife, the same way I reacted to what Cole said. This is my reaction to Siphon Rosenberg. And yes, I'm a black man in America. I absolutely need therapy off of that alone. Yes, so, yes, I do need therapy. But I will tell you this. I saw a clip of j Cole sitting down with KD and Eddie. Shout out to my guys Katie and Eddie their podcast. 00:06:12 Speaker 1: Great episode. 00:06:14 Speaker 2: It was a couple of years ago. Julian just told me probably twenty twenty one, twenty twenty one and Jake Cole said, he's trying to take the competitive nature out of hip hop. He's trying to take the competitive nature out of it, right, So Sunday Night, that's seemingly what he did. He took the competitive nature out of the art that he is a part of. Can't get mad at that, right, can't get mad at that? He said, he stripped away the competition part. He's more interested in the relationship. So he's more interested in having a healthy relationship with other artists, other MC's things like that. Great, that's how you want to approach it. Great, good music comes from it. I'm here to tell you. I'm here to tell you that the culture that you love, Jake, and the culture that you're part of, and the culture that you've had a lot of success in it has it has been built upon competition. Hip hop rap is built on competition. So if your here is stripped away the competitive part of it, then I think you should respectfully no longer make music and just be successful, be the guy that you are, go live the life that you are because you're ready a hippie. Hold is a hippie. He wants to live on a farm. You got that lifestyle and that's what I love about him. No, no, no, I think I think that's how is that insane? You can just stop being an artist because he's not. He's not the analogy that everyone's using. He doesn't it that Kobe or Michael Killer instinct. 00:07:40 Speaker 3: He should just do not go out and diss somebody if he wants to live this way. Cool that most of my rappers are not the braggadocies I'm better than you records. 00:07:50 Speaker 1: It's not about deep records. 00:07:51 Speaker 3: It's not I think way to do this. But don't then step in the ring. That was all the point we were trying to make last episode. 00:07:57 Speaker 5: Okay, but people can step first of all, everyone sometimes people cross the line, or they say something that they don't mean. It just so happens when he does it, it obviously gets reacted to by millions of fucking people. What do you mean he said something like he did the record because in that moment he probably felt like, fuck it, this is the time for me to do this, that minuted old thing. He did it cool less than what a day later he regretted it. But that's bullshit? How is that bullshit? 00:08:21 Speaker 2: Because the only reason Jamaine Cole did that on stage is because he sat online and read all the fucking comics when everybody was saying they didn't like that wrecord. I don't care about what you believe. This is what happened was because he's somebody everybody wants blood. How he know everybody wants blood because he sat there and he read the comments and everybody was saying, Nah, that wasn't hard enough. 00:08:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, you didn't take it further. 00:08:40 Speaker 2: Nah that wasn't So then you don't think in that moment, slow down, let me, let me explain something real quick. Slow down, just I'm gonna give you a time, slow down. So the only reason he did that because if he had dropped the bomb that everybody was feeling, everybody was like, oh he killing Kendrick, he would have won thousand percent performed that record. 00:08:55 Speaker 1: At Dreamville, I don't think. 00:08:56 Speaker 2: So get the bamal. 00:08:58 Speaker 3: I think you're expecting that went crazy the way Kendrick's liked that verse? Did I think Cole is closing dream of. 00:09:05 Speaker 2: When artist is not going to perform a record at his festival, that's a bomb. No, I think works. 00:09:10 Speaker 5: I think what Cole learned in this process, and I don't want to speak for I'm just from my analysis is I think he realized that he has a line, and Cole's line is the emotional. He values the emotion over. I guess in this case the sport the thing we love about Kobe. And I said this when you called me and shit was fucking going crazy on my line. H fucking to whatever yesterday I said. The difference is when Kobe and Paalgasol played basketball together for forever, one rings together, love each other, POWs his fucking daughter's godfathers. When they stepped on the court, Kobe said, as soon as his ball tips off, I'm giving powers screen. I'm laying him the fuck out. I want to set the tone. This is who I am. I don't give a fuck about the family shit, this is the game. I think that's what Cole lacks is he can't compartmentalize as the emotion with how he plays the sport. Kendrick doesn't give a fuck. Well, I think Kendrick will still shoot it. 00:10:06 Speaker 1: Call. 00:10:06 Speaker 5: I don't care if you conceded, it's still fuck you. We're still in this rap shit. So now you understand that. 00:10:13 Speaker 2: Okay, So now you understand what I just said about why Cole should probably just not make music anymore. 00:10:17 Speaker 5: But sometimes that's ridiculous. 00:10:19 Speaker 3: If you're not making do the compete battleship, you're not taking if you're not making it even based off that. 00:10:24 Speaker 2: Like, but a lot of a lot of his career is based on him telling us he's the best. That is a fact. A lot of his career is telling us how much he's better than this competition. And he just said he's Muhammad Ali. He just he just said that Muhammad lost. Exactly my point. When lose a drawer, you take the fucking fight. That's my point. Win lose a draw take the fucking fight. You don't back out of the fight because you somewhere reading the comments and everybody's torching that song saying you know that ain't hard enough, don't And then you don't say to say, y'all. 00:10:52 Speaker 5: Want about the comments? 00:10:54 Speaker 2: I guess what is it about? Without you're just saying y'all want to see blood? Who the fuck wanted to see? 00:11:00 Speaker 4: So when he said y'all want to see blood, he also was referring to his own niggas too, his own niggas, who he said hyped him up to respond, even though deep in his heart. He didn't really want to respond. I don't think that the man is lying when he says that he didn't feel right doing that shit. 00:11:13 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not sient. 00:11:14 Speaker 4: It doesn't even if he would have went harder, even if people would have went crazy over it, I do believe that he still wouldn't have felt comfortable. 00:11:21 Speaker 2: Do you remember when we sat down with Mike Tyson, Yes, and Mike Tyson looked U was in his eyes and told us that never forget he told before every fight. What did he say? He said he was scared to death. Oh yeah, terrified, terrified walking out to Mike Tyson said he was scared to death before every fight. Mike Tyson, you know what Mike Tyson didn't do. He did not walk in the ring. He didn't not fight. You can be scared, you can be like, damn, I don't really want to do this, But when. 00:11:46 Speaker 4: You're in it and the greatest you're getting fear from when nobody spoke on fear, you don't. 00:11:51 Speaker 2: Have to speak on fear. I looked at a nigga on stage and I can see the fear in his face. He didn't even want to do that. 00:11:56 Speaker 4: The same way niggas looked at you and really assume that you're really upset about this. You don't know him, you don't know didstating podcast because that's what you're. 00:12:05 Speaker 2: Supposed to do. The thing that I'm upset about is because Cole could have just went up there and said, you know what I had I had a talk with Kendrick. This is where it ends. I'm not making them more records. I'm not throwing more no more shots. That's it. That apology he gave us, that was one of the nastiest things that MC ever has done. That And you know why everybody racked the way they did, because we've never seen an MC do that before. We've never seen that before. Oh jay z He's he said he didn't want to battle nods because his mother called him. Yeah, you know why, because that had a real potential to go into some street shit. I fucked your baby mother, I left condoms and your baby seat. Those are you can die behind that Where I'm from, he just watched what happened to Big in POC. You think his mother don't realize. I don't want to be the next Valletta Wallace. I don't want to be the next Phoenie shit called. So yeah, jay Z's mother is gonna call him and say, yo, listen, I don't know what y'all are doing. I've seen this before with some of your friends. 00:12:59 Speaker 5: Stop. 00:13:01 Speaker 1: This was not going in of course not. 00:13:03 Speaker 2: This was just a battle skill set in art. 00:13:06 Speaker 5: Yes, I understand why everybody's upset from that perspective, but to just speak on coal it sucks because optically it looks awfully did in front of all the shit. He really when he said I was losing sleep over this shit. He was like, that's not like a hyperbolic statement, like he truthfully felt that. And then I saw him Tuesday night come out during Boz's show, last show of his tour, shout out Bo's congrats on tour. 00:13:30 Speaker 2: See Cole popped out. 00:13:32 Speaker 5: The plan was for Cole to come out anyway, and after what happened, We're like, we don't know that's going to happen. Cole still some peace, surprised Boss Bozz. I know that moment was going to happen. I went into the grooming to take a pee and I saw Cole there and I'd like not to like not God was gonna get emotional. But I was like damn Like. I looked at it the way in which if a comedian goes up and bombs in front of a fucking MSG one night, and then they're like, well, I'm still at the end of day, I'm still a comedian. I'm gonna go to the club the next night and get a lick in. Not only did Cole have the apology happened, the mic was fucked up. You could hardly hear, like, the whole set was just bad from every angle and call went out in Irving Plaza, a venue that you'd have to fill out for two months time to just equate the amount of people. He just did a Dreamville Fest in a row and he fucking rocked it. Did like did the featured thing, did three extra songs and was just he looked happy and you could just see like he I think he's already at peace or just feels better personally. The hip hop shiit aside about the decision he made on the stage of Dreamville Fest. At least that's because I've seen it. I was there and I saw him in his face personally, Like you can just see the difference in his energy and how the high that he was on. We all went out Tuesday night out. 00:14:38 Speaker 1: What are you telling me that I'm glad. 00:14:43 Speaker 5: It's bigger than like. I get it as a fan of the sport good. It sucks, but this is his life, That's what he wanted to do. 00:14:50 Speaker 1: Let live bro Okay, we don't tell anything. 00:14:58 Speaker 2: I got, I got talking about, I got this, I got this hold on so sorry, So let me be very clear so that everybody can understand what I'm saying. I love JCole. He's one of my favorite rappers of all time. I've said it before, I'll say it again. All I'm saying is he is no longer. You know how many conversations I've had in barbershops defending J Cole on how many corners, how many porches, front step, how many building staircases I've had saying y'all got him fucked up? He ain't with all the glitzing glennis nigga ride a bike and he'll still show up and bust Any MC's ass. I'm the nigga in these projects having these conversations. So when now he has the chance to show niggas what I've been saying for years about him and prove to niggas what I've been saying years about him. I'm like, yes, it's going down, let's have it, and it's just healthy. It's no beef, this is healthy, just competitive, like, yo, where's your pin at? Let me see? And then for him to do what he did, of course, I'm going to be upset because you know why now my phone rings? Like I told you that Nigga was a hippie. He ain't no hip hop nigga. He don't really want this shit. He been showing you for years who he is. 00:15:57 Speaker 4: He ain't. 00:15:57 Speaker 2: He ain't really like that. He just bluffy talking a good game. He not built for this shit. I had to hear that shit for the last however many days, and I can't even say nothing because they right. I'm like, damn, I thought he was from that cloth of MC and where you step to me and you want to battle, I'm a bust show ass and put you back in your place. So okay, I'm happy that he's he seems to be happy at Boxer's show and he's not stressed out. He's getting sleep. Of course, of course I am. I don't want him to be stressed out and depressed. I'm not I don't wish that on nobody. But you're not gonna tell me that I'm wrong for what I said about him from an MC standpoint, not personally. That wasn't personal. I'm talking about MCing as an MC. There are certain things J Cole is no longer allowed to say. 00:16:39 Speaker 5: And if you feel that way, fine, it ain't just me, though I know a lot of people. A lot of people feel that way. 00:16:45 Speaker 2: You just stand what I'm saying. 00:16:46 Speaker 5: It's not just me warranted, I get it. 00:16:48 Speaker 2: So so when all I'm saying is if j Cole is in a space where he is feeling like he doesn't he wants to take the competitive nature out of rap and hip hop, I'm telling you that you are placing yourself in a dangerous position by doing that, because now you are leaving yourself open for any other MC to come straight at you and you can't do nothing about it. And then what who wants to root for MC and a rapper that you're all these other dudes just be coming at him. It's like yo, yo man hem. And that's what I said about career suicide, because yes, of course J Co's gonna make good music from now. He's gonna put out good out of course he's a great artist. I'm talking about the things aside from just the music. I'm talking about the standpoint of j Cole as a rapper, as an MC, the way he carries himself, the bravado, the ego. You need that in hip hop. You have to have an ego in any anything that you're trying to be the best at. If you playing basketball and you're like you, I ain't gonna lie. I'm trying to take the competitive shit out this. Everybody in a team gonna PAYO. You stay in the fucking locker room then, because I need to know when these niggas is coming to trap me in the corner that you're gonna be there to catch this ball and shoot. If not, you can sit your ass right here. That's all I'm saying. So, if you don't want to be competitive, what are. 00:17:59 Speaker 4: You doing well to be fair? Do you think that Jake Cole is doing that? Let the balloon the air out of the balloon of competitiveness and hip hop because these niggas been BFFN. Niggas have been BFFN and hip hop. We've been complaining about that for the past for years. 00:18:14 Speaker 2: BFO line. As far as personal You could be cool personally, yeah, but when you challenge my pen, when you challenge my pen as an MC, I have to step to that challenge. That's law in hip hop. Jake Cola is not gonna change that. Drake is not gonna change that. Kendrick is not going to change that. That is the law. You are on MC and you are rapping. You feel like you are the best, and you say you the best, and you feel like Muhammad Ali and all this other shit. It's time to show it. It's time to show it. That's all I'm saying. So for you to lay down, I'm like, nah, I don't want to do this. I respect it, bros. I forgive your weak acts hustling just ain't you. I get that. But now you can never talk that big, really big MC shit ever again, that's out the window. You can go sit down with the lower tier niggas. That's nice, but they ain't really like that when when conversations happen niggas is certain names we ain't throwing on the table in a hip hop conversation. J Cole, we gotta take that card off the deck. You can't throw his name on a hip hop conversation no more. When it comes to rapping the mcn no, that's over in. 00:19:16 Speaker 3: The desography conversation, sure, but when it comes yeah there's there's an asterisks. 00:19:24 Speaker 2: But even that's in danger because a lot of first person shoot. I don't ever want to hear that ship no more. I don't ever want to hear first person shooter ever again in my life. I don't ever want to hear that shit. Okay, well, play Drake's part. Play when the beat change. Don't give me Muhammad Ali is just no, it ain't no, it ain't. I seen Ali fight niggas that they said was gonna kill him. They thought Ali was gonna die win he for Foreman. They thought he was gonna die when he fought Joe Frasier. He fought the government, didn't go to war within the prison behind that ship. Don't ever say you feel like Muhammad Ali nigga. No, you feel like Micauli Cochin and one of the mother niggas that's home alone. You wanted them niggas. 00:19:59 Speaker 1: He was Victoria is. 00:20:04 Speaker 5: Now it sounds like you're attacking the the legitimacy of his lyrics. 00:20:09 Speaker 1: All of rap is lying. 00:20:11 Speaker 4: Yeah, point all your. 00:20:12 Speaker 2: Guys lie. 00:20:15 Speaker 1: Continue to say that. 00:20:20 Speaker 2: A lying okay, but one hasn't we know who, so be it these guys the lies okay, go down. Everyone has lied in theirs. I think that's a weak anger. 00:20:33 Speaker 3: But it's a little differenthen they're lying about actually murdering someone because we don't want to see them and one of the best but rapping about you're the best rapper in any rapper that tests you lyrically, you'll kill You're the only authentic MC. 00:20:43 Speaker 1: Everyone lies in the rhymes, but me, I'm cold. I do this for real. Everyone else is a liar. 00:20:47 Speaker 3: It's a little different than someone making up some gangs of persona like they sold a million bricks are. 00:20:52 Speaker 2: Because we know they did. 00:20:53 Speaker 3: We know Ross doesn't have a million favors from Pablo Escobar. 00:20:56 Speaker 2: We know that. We know that sound good. 00:20:59 Speaker 3: But I fully believed when it came to being tested by another rapper, I was always gonna put my money down on Coal because I believe his rhymes, because he could really rap like that. So why is it an issue to people like you? Siphe the whoever runs the Dreamville account. When Cole says out of his mouth love When they argue the hardest them. See is it Katot Aubrey or me with the big three? Like we started the league? But right now I feel like Muhammad Ali this is out of Cole's mouth. He loves when we were talking about this ship. Now Sife wants him to get therapy. 00:21:29 Speaker 2: Kick it? 00:21:30 Speaker 4: Cus? 00:21:33 Speaker 1: Shut up? 00:21:34 Speaker 2: Am I wrong? 00:21:35 Speaker 1: Why is everyone so outraged about our opinion with j Cole? 00:21:38 Speaker 2: This is what the white protests do. Domestics stick in front of the niggas and then protective kick. 00:21:44 Speaker 5: It cuz that part, by the way, episode you bringing that up with so fucking. 00:21:50 Speaker 2: It's like still defending it. You're right, you're right. There's certain groups that you do that. You're right, you you oh my god, mad out with certain certain groups. Give me that certain group shape. It was like, nah, we definitely do that. Like I was like, okay, I stay here, listen while I'm loud. 00:22:06 Speaker 1: Did it the civil children? 00:22:08 Speaker 2: I'm loud when I'm right, I'm loud when I'm wrong. I'm wondering. You see how you see I stand on business, Julie, stand on it, stand on it. Cole didn't stand on his ball. 00:22:17 Speaker 1: So but can you answer? Can you answer my question? 00:22:19 Speaker 3: Because you are on Sipe and Dreamville side of being outraged at Maul and I for have an opinion about hip hop. 00:22:24 Speaker 1: When Cole, which started this whole praise, did you too, Yeah, of course. 00:22:28 Speaker 2: Oh shit, I got that outrage. I got outraged. 00:22:31 Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about it. 00:22:33 Speaker 2: That's crazy. 00:22:34 Speaker 3: When they argue the hardest mcs, Now we can't argue the hardest seeds. And when one of the three that he named says, I love when they argue the hardest MC's hey, Dot, Aubrey or me. But right now I feel like I'm Muhammad Ali. Now we all have to stop. What Cole said he loved so we can protect his mental health. And now we're the bad guys that need therapy. 00:22:55 Speaker 5: But because we love hip hop, you act like Okayla, you act like Cole's not Cole said, everybody stopped making fun. 00:23:01 Speaker 3: He hasn't said a word since. Who said anything about Jacob? I said, you sife? And whoever runs the Dreamviale account? 00:23:08 Speaker 5: What I like? 00:23:09 Speaker 2: Why does everything have to be so so? 00:23:11 Speaker 6: What? 00:23:11 Speaker 2: He had a change of heart. He did it. He went there. He went there with seven minute drill. Yes, he did seven minute drill. Julian said, you know what. 00:23:19 Speaker 1: This doesn't feel that I can't, and then took it back said about that that's. 00:23:23 Speaker 7: Fine, and I'm not I'm upset about it. I'm agreeing with you guys, but I'm also providing perspective of the person that fucking did it. That's fine, bro, I just told you I still I still fuck with Cold. 00:23:33 Speaker 1: I'm not. 00:23:34 Speaker 2: It's not a personal thing. I'm just saying as an MC and a rapper, he is no longer in that conversation. 00:23:38 Speaker 5: And if you feel that way, fine, great. 00:23:41 Speaker 4: Why are you yelling? 00:23:42 Speaker 2: Because all right, I'm trying. 00:23:43 Speaker 5: I'm not trying to tell. 00:23:44 Speaker 2: Sorry, Like, if you feel that way, it's. 00:23:46 Speaker 1: Nothing wrong yelling. Nothing's gonna happen. This is okay. 00:23:49 Speaker 2: This is is therapy. You git me sif this is my fucking therapy, you understand what I'm saying, Rosenberg, this is my therapy. Sorry, man, I'm juicing again. I'm sorry. You know I get a little crazy. I start juice. Yeah. 00:24:01 Speaker 3: But also to Demerius's earlier question, what was more heartbreaking about this? Because it was Cole the last three we have. Yes, I'm dying on that ledge too. Sorry, you sound like the old fucking guy. Get off my lawn. This, These last three here, Kendrick, Cole and Drake are our last real hip hop superstar. 00:24:20 Speaker 4: Take it so. 00:24:20 Speaker 3: Yes, this was so disappointing and art breaking. As a fan, I don't understand why fans. 00:24:24 Speaker 1: Can't be upset. I'm upset. 00:24:25 Speaker 3: I'm just you guys are the same fucking fans you included Rosenberg's sife. When anytime a rapper that talks about heartbreak gets a breakup, y'all get excited. Album's about to be crazy. Y'all have not given a fuck about a rapper's mental health once in your entire career. But now when Cole does it, we all have to stop. 00:24:41 Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how it goes, and I'm fine with that. 00:24:44 Speaker 1: I don't that. 00:24:44 Speaker 2: I don't care when Nas and Kalie got divorced, Yeah I don't. I don't think he's on the cover with the wedding dress. 00:24:50 Speaker 3: No inchecked If Nas was okay, it was like YO were about to get that album. Now all of a sudden, we all have to stop, and we're wrong. When you guys have been doing this forever. 00:24:59 Speaker 2: Therap, I'm wrong, you do. I went too far all of these things, you know, I mean, you know, listen, man, the bottom line is this, what j Cole did is something that was just very unexpected from the type of a MC and rapper that he is. We never thought that he would do that. And I'm all with you know, you doing something and feeling like, you know, damn, I shouldn't have did that. We've all said things, nationally said and regretted things. We've apologized for things we've said and done. Like you know, that's so I'm not That's not what I'm upset at Call. I'm not upset at him for the apology. I'm not upset at that. I'm upset at him because one, you didn't have to release the record, right, And I you know, again, I don't know Cold on a personal level. I have only observed him from a far for years and seen interviews and kind of got a feel it for the person years he rides. He's very like, you know, under the radar, but he's a superstar. That's what I love about him. He doesn't He's very grounded. I love that about him. But I just find it hard to leave that if that record, that seven minute drill record, would have shook the room, like let's say, a back to back did. I just find it very hard to believe that he would have done what he did on that Dreamville stage. I think he would have went there, he would have performed that record because you know, the crowd would have wanted the record. Like, I think that's the only thing that bothers me because I don't believe that that's why he did what he did. I don't believe the apology. I'm not mad at the apology. I just don't believe that's why he apologized. 00:26:29 Speaker 3: That would have been a crazy strategy if it did go nuts, and then he was like, nah, I'm cool now that. 00:26:35 Speaker 2: Might actually worked in his favor. This is what I'm saying, Like, I just dropped this. But it's like, is he even said it in there? Let me chill, I got two classes I could drop right now, but let me chill. He even said that, So it's like, okay, cool, you got two classices is like bet like all right, But I just think that because you know Coolez he says he's not on the internet. Rappers lot there on the internet. They have burner accounts, they're reading every day type they names searched their names and see what everybody's saying. He saw what everybody was saying about that, right of. 00:26:58 Speaker 1: Course it did. 00:26:58 Speaker 3: He dropped his first disrecord something ja Cole was glued to his phone, so Garrett he saw the reaction wasn't like, oh shit, he killed Kendricks. 00:27:07 Speaker 2: It's over. When he saw it, wasn't that he realized like, damn, I'm not. I don't want to I don't want to go further. I don't want to disrespect him deeper than this. 00:27:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, what they're expecting from me, I'm not. I don't want to do that. Which is okay, and that's fun. 00:27:20 Speaker 2: I'm not knocking that, but we can be him sad as fans. But if that record and the reaction would have been yoa these killing he kicking Kendrick's ass, if it would have been that, he would have performed that record Sunday night, one million percent. 00:27:33 Speaker 3: I had a strategy that I was thinking about doing coming into this episode because I wanted to, like really, I saw so much contradiction the past two days from so many people that I thought about coming into this episode and going Yo, I apologize for everything I said about Cole on the last episode. 00:27:51 Speaker 1: I didn't mean it. 00:27:52 Speaker 3: I was in the moment I felt pressured to have to talk about it. I'm sorry and I'm thinking sane, and then I wanted to Then I wanted to see what people reaction, to see what I got to say forgiveness from the people that got mad at me for the cold shit, because I guarantee you those people would not have been like Rory. 00:28:06 Speaker 1: It happens. 00:28:06 Speaker 3: Man, Sometimes we say things we don't mean. They would be still be killing me right now. 00:28:09 Speaker 2: I do want to apologize all hypocrites, just like we all had to go. 00:28:12 Speaker 4: Through mad production, mad approvals, and mad ship before it got out. 00:28:16 Speaker 2: Just I do. I do want to apologize though, if because I know Cole saw or heard the episode, yeah, thanks for way. I do want to apologize if it came across like it was a personal attacking Cold because I don't know him personally. 00:28:29 Speaker 5: Well, the clip didn't do you any damn good. Well obviously that's why. 00:28:33 Speaker 2: That's why, that's why I'm here today to do what Cole did Yo Cold. Where I'm at, bro Cole, it ain't personal. I never met you. It's all love. Still want to fare with rappers. I just can't argue the same in the barber shop. That's all yo. 00:28:48 Speaker 3: Everyone in here things calls a goat, right, makes some noise. Everyone got love for Ja Cole, that's what he. 00:28:52 Speaker 2: Did at the show. 00:28:53 Speaker 1: But with Kendricks, Ye, come. 00:28:55 Speaker 5: On, that wasn't crazy to me? Who loves cold Ken. I didn't like that moment. I didn't like did you make you make hell? 00:29:05 Speaker 6: No? 00:29:07 Speaker 7: Yo? 00:29:07 Speaker 2: The crowd? The crowd confused? And then I say all the THI pieces yo, And now the album is called The fall Off. He might be setting all those listen. I'm cool with that, right, but guess what he better be doing on that fucking album. You better be taking Kendrick a new asshole on that album. That could be part of the play. If that's We're not gonna get away from you and Kendrick battling though you gonna. You better have some balls for Kendrick. This could be part of your role out for the fallof make it seem like, yo, you fell out the good graces of everybody and fire. I would be the first one to come on my platform yet I was fired. 00:29:37 Speaker 1: That would be the only strategy ever. 00:29:38 Speaker 2: But you better be on that motherfucker smoking Kendrick like a fucking pack of new ports. That's what I do. Know. You better not just give me good songs and be on that. No no no, no no no no no. You don't get away from this battle because because like you said, if Kendrick dropped tomorrow and he's saying nigga fuck J Cole got. 00:29:56 Speaker 5: A and and again again like agents and all that shit aside, I think Kendrick should and will respond. 00:30:04 Speaker 2: He should again to keep this shit and hip hop to keep a sport. 00:30:08 Speaker 5: If I'm Kendrick, I'm saying fuck call fuck all that deep that we're still in this deep it in that you know what I think, really happry him and then you either bait for him to say something again let make him respond. If I'm Kendrick, I'm trying to make you respond. Respond, That's what I'm saying at this point. 00:30:22 Speaker 2: And that's why I said his career suicide because he can never respond once he did what he did. That's you saying, like yo, bro, I'm I'm I don't want no part of that type, that part of rap hip hop. I don't want to battle nobody. I don't want to have to disrespect nobody on WAX. I don't want that because now you can't select the politic and choose which MC you want to battle. You can't do that. No no, no, no no no no no no no no, don't don't. Don't battle the nigga. You know you could be Don't do that. That's not how you earn stripes. You gotta battle the nigga. We feel like, I don't know, that's gonna be good, that's gonna be close. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. And that's just from a competitive nature part of this this thing. Personally, I hope Cold is good and he could sleep of course, and his heart is pure and nigga. 00:31:07 Speaker 1: I fucked with Cole. 00:31:08 Speaker 2: I thought his whole aesthetic and how he moves being the guy that he is. He not with all the jury shit, flying private and he ain't into the clubs all the time. He ain't. I love that about him. And then could go and wrap the way he's rapping. That was fire. That's what hip hop is. It's not the glitch and the Glamouryo is he dope cool? That's what he represented. I'm just disappointed that we had that moment that was set, the table was set, and we had it and it's like Oh this is not beef. This is just y'all think I'm better than you. This is We had it, the tables lined up, let's see it. And then one of the dudes that we felt like had the potential of coming out as the best he decided to back down. He didn't want to engage in this no more. It's like, oh, okay, cool, but you could no longer be in that conversation after this. That's all I'm saying. 00:31:59 Speaker 3: I will say the man been worse footage at Dreamville than that Cole apology. 00:32:04 Speaker 1: Look you pull this up. I saw this subscribe to Julian's only fans on Instagram. What's it called? It's literally my Instagram. 00:32:10 Speaker 3: But you can like it's a subscription subscriber subscription page, right, so I subscribe? 00:32:14 Speaker 5: Oh so so just so you could backdoor me and do some slick ship like this. I thought that was the point of subscribing. 00:32:19 Speaker 4: You know, you can like block him now because he's given away your paywall information. 00:32:23 Speaker 5: Oh yeah, this Look at Rory recorded this, Wally and Canadas. Look at that in the corner Rogers. 00:32:29 Speaker 2: This was before Cole's even got on stage. This wasn't this was on your regular story. Though you posted this, yeah, because I saw it and I'm not subscribed to you. Well this just today I posted about it. No, I saw it yesterday. 00:32:41 Speaker 3: Oh okay, see, okay, Well, either way, how do we feel about this athletic performance here? In this form of throwing, it's a. 00:32:48 Speaker 2: Home runner bust. 00:32:50 Speaker 5: His ass stages are slippery, pretending they're not you. 00:32:56 Speaker 1: You like you look like fifty. Throwing out the first pitch at the Mets game, It's fucked up. 00:33:00 Speaker 5: This second one that I threw, I threw like a I threw the second one like a frisbee and drilled a poor lady in the face because I thought that was the point it held form because I was wrapped in the plastic and it just whipped across the crowded. 00:33:12 Speaker 2: You need therapy for that. 00:33:13 Speaker 5: She gets the shirt, though I hope so, or at least I hope someone near her gave it to her. 00:33:18 Speaker 2: She got the shirt, but guess what, it's not hers. Yeah, I love that part of it. To somebody grabbing like this is two X. Have you guys ever called it a shirt? 00:33:27 Speaker 1: Cannon shirt at. 00:33:28 Speaker 4: The game, I'll be trying to giants. 00:33:31 Speaker 5: Very embarrassing. I got hit in the face with a T shirt at m mystry. You know when they wrap them up and shoot them out the cannons, Like, got hit right in the eye. 00:33:39 Speaker 1: Just drilled me. 00:33:41 Speaker 2: That's why your eyes like that. 00:33:43 Speaker 5: I was on my phone and I was standing up while they were doing it and I didn't look up and I got hit. 00:33:49 Speaker 1: Did you keep the shirt? 00:33:50 Speaker 5: Yeah, I actually got the shirt. 00:33:51 Speaker 1: I sleep. 00:33:51 Speaker 2: It's a sleep ship. Well, you had an interesting time coming back from Dreamville, Julian, and I do want to apologize if I into rupted or disturb any of your relationships. He did I had Dreamville. That wasn't my intention. I know those are your guys. Shout out the Boss, Fuckle Boss, shout out the Cold still number love for Cold. I don't know anybody else. Oh Felting, Felting, Felton, fuck Felting, good God, but anybody else overady, I don't know. But nothing but love inspected Dreamville. But listen, man, it is what it is. You know. Cole did what he did and that's just not what EMPC of his caliber is supposed to do. 00:34:25 Speaker 3: I understand them being not like just work with Cold. They're actually friends and like came up with them, So I get the alliance, like, fully understand it, and understand day after feeling away about that you told about the man's fully get it. 00:34:38 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:34:39 Speaker 3: I hope with time though, there's some understanding that we're here to debate hip hop. Cole is one of the greatest of all time when he does something, especially something like that on stage. 00:34:49 Speaker 1: But we're gonna move on to a different topic. 00:34:51 Speaker 3: Right, of course we're going to discuss it. I mean, it's not coologies of anything came across disrespectful. 00:34:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't ever want my words to come across as disrespect or anything like that, especially not to somebody like Cold, like you got to be you got to be a fucking lunatic to just try to blatantly disrespect J Cole Like he's not that type of person. So I don't want it to come across with disrespect. But I stand on everything I said, all the disrespect, I wasn't disrespected. I didn't represt code. I stand on everything I said as a fan of the culture, somebody that's come up in this as a consumer of the culture, as one of you know, Cold supporters over the years, I was very disappointed in what he did Monday night. That's all I'm saying that. That's why, that's my bottom line. I was very disappointed in what he did Monday night. 00:35:33 Speaker 5: I don't want to drag this topic, but I was also thinking, okay, moving forward, he has obviously the falloff and he says he has two theoretically two classics in the talk. 00:35:41 Speaker 1: So I say, here's a. 00:35:41 Speaker 5: Fall off and then another Albut no, he don't just okay, whatever that classic stigma is that's removed, you could still make a classic album. 00:35:48 Speaker 2: No, you can't. Not doing what he did, it could be good. Ain't nobody going to. 00:35:51 Speaker 5: Classes with time and with good music to follow? As to like, assuming everything's great? Can he dig himself out of this hole that he he's self inflicted, he put himself in. But also get back into a conversation of like a great bro. 00:36:05 Speaker 2: He's no like a lot of rapping bro. There's no. And it's not even about a lot of rapping. It is no Cole is a great artist. He's a he's a great rapper. Is he's a great MC? That I'm saying. What I'm saying is the other great MC's no longer view him as one of their peers. They don't. That's just what it is. And to me, that means more than putting out a great album is having the respect of your peers, having the respect of the guys that came before you, that did this, and he's lost that that. I don't care if none of these artists and these mcs that are the legend. I don't care if jay Z never says it publicly. I don't care if Nas never says it public I know when them niggas says at home drinking that that that that hibikie, that good whiskey, they sitting down like he ain't one of us, and I feel like we thought he was, but he ain't one of us. 00:36:53 Speaker 3: I feel like I need to defend hip hop against everyone that was outraged at us, even when Rosenberg or so I forgot which one in that clip was saying like, oh, real man took accountability and now we can shift hip hop into accountability and being a real man like. Hip hop has its faults. Don't get me fucking wrong, I'm very self aware of what hip hop is. There's a lot of bullshit in it, a lot of misogyny, a lot of violence, a lot of things that you could say is bad. But to sit here and say that no rappers ever taken accountability or been mature is a slap in the face to hip hop. To me, Jay Cole getting on that stage and doing that. If you want to commend him for that, I'm not mad at you. I was only speaking from my perspective. But to say, Cole just invented taking accountability and finally we can get that in hip hop. Go listen to four to forty four, listen of Life is Good, like you are spitting in the face of so many other rappers that have been taken accountability and ben on their grown man shit. 00:37:48 Speaker 2: They just just deep deeper in that role. 00:37:51 Speaker 3: Everyone thought they sounded so smart and had just blows my mind, like, no, y'all don't really listen to hip hop. We can like competition and also like accountability. 00:38:00 Speaker 5: Kelsey and Vanning the fade, He's insane to me. 00:38:02 Speaker 3: So sorry Sif and Rosenberg, who I think are real hip hop historians. They've been in the ship way longer than me, seeing way more shit than me. Actually talk about how their hip hop historians? How the fuck could you say? J Cole now started the trend of taking accountability in. 00:38:16 Speaker 2: Hip hop, because this is they just people. 00:38:17 Speaker 1: Caress One took fucking accountability. 00:38:19 Speaker 2: They just want to take People just want to say things, and you know, it's like, but I'm I'm standing behind. I'm standing I'm standing behind what I said because. 00:38:30 Speaker 1: Social Boys the only rapper that's never taken accountability. 00:38:32 Speaker 2: Rosenberg and Cipher two, along with the rest of y'all in here. If this was Drake, y'all would be having a fucking connumption you talk about, y'all would be going, I'm just saying, it's part of the Battle's three of them. It's Kendrick, Drake and j Cole. Because everybody's still ting about you. Your man ain't responding, Drake ain't saying nothing yet. But what about his mental health? What if he don't want to respond he did something similar to Cole? No, he had he killed him for it. He didn't take it. He didn't take the disrecord back. 00:38:55 Speaker 1: Yes he did from him. 00:38:58 Speaker 2: No he did not, bro No, he didn't not. And this is my problem in their continued to die. This is my problem. People like him. 00:39:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, person that's rerunning. 00:39:07 Speaker 2: History, not me. He never stood on the fucking stage and said, yo, I don't want to take the record back. Here's my chin, here's my chin. Cut it out, man, stop, don't do that. But that's my point out. 00:39:19 Speaker 5: His makeup done, and then they sat in the lighting in the professional studio and then they probably shot that ten times and that was the best take. 00:39:25 Speaker 3: And by the way, the same when I say co as an astrois there, I've been saying Drake as an asterisk. 00:39:29 Speaker 1: For that move and wins and losses. There's nothing wrong with that. 00:39:33 Speaker 3: But I still think because he has wins and losses and continues to get in the ring, to me, Drake could talk as greasy as he once. 00:39:41 Speaker 2: Y'all look crazy. 00:39:41 Speaker 1: He took L's and came back. 00:39:43 Speaker 2: If if Drake did that at Ovo Fest, oh my god, ciphering Rosebery included, they would have been killing Drake for that. 00:39:52 Speaker 1: Is what happened to the genre exactly. 00:39:54 Speaker 2: So y'all talking about that, that's stopped the ship because y'all like cold, and y'all feel like Damn's I like cold too, But he's not eximpt from getting these motherfucking bars about how crazy he looked. 00:40:03 Speaker 3: On Sunday night, everybody in Dreamville would be saying the same thing we were saying about Drake. 00:40:07 Speaker 1: If Drake did the same thing, could. 00:40:08 Speaker 2: Have been saying it. Cold col would have said it. 00:40:12 Speaker 1: If any other rapper besides Cold did that every last let's disagree. 00:40:15 Speaker 2: With us, we said, get it, bro. We like who we like, but let's stop moving the I'm not moving the gold post. If Drake would have done that, I might have motherfuckered it. I would yo, you look crazy. I mean it's fine. I moved the gold post too, like it happens if an artists did that. Fuck no, I would never move the goal posts for artists if we did some shit like that. 00:40:36 Speaker 5: You mentioned Drake. Is he do we need to again? Is he releasing tomorrow? What's the plan? 00:40:42 Speaker 2: Is stepping on the rout? I have no idea, I hope. 00:40:45 Speaker 1: So that was my prediction. 00:40:46 Speaker 5: You guys noticed Party put out a single today instead of what what would be the normal turn. 00:40:51 Speaker 4: Of the hint an idiot. 00:40:53 Speaker 2: Turn of the single. 00:40:55 Speaker 5: It's a Party of a single come out today for his project. Mm hm oh Vio allegiance obviously. 00:40:59 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:41:00 Speaker 1: Think he did that for a reason. 00:41:02 Speaker 3: I thought when I saw it, I was like, all right, he probably had planned that video they shot it ready to go, and then Drake made the decision last night that he was gonna put this shout midnight, and Party was like, hit upload on YouTube. Now I need twenty four hours at least with this fucking video. But good video too, by. 00:41:16 Speaker 2: The way, But I don't. I don't know because the fact that Party is Ovio, I think that that would only help him. 00:41:24 Speaker 3: Everything is gonna if Drake drops that record at midnight, every last thing is going to sto. 00:41:30 Speaker 2: No, for sure, But I'm just what I'm saying is it's still is kind of like the OVO brand is being spoken about. You get what I'm saying. If Drake drops this record. 00:41:39 Speaker 1: He needs he needs at least twenty four hours of silence. 00:41:42 Speaker 2: I think it's smart that he put it out now. But even if he put it out now and Drake kind of drops tomorrow, is just what difference is it? Honestly, That's what I'm saying. 00:41:49 Speaker 3: I think that this but if it could be part of his rollout schedule that he's not moving like I could see them doing the audible last minute, like all right, we have to get this out. 00:41:56 Speaker 2: I don't think he's I don't think let's put it out Drake is anything? 00:42:00 Speaker 1: Why this week? 00:42:01 Speaker 2: I don't think so. 00:42:03 Speaker 5: You still think he's waiting for Kendrick to say something because he's not going to He already says something. He already said something. 00:42:10 Speaker 2: I said, But again, I didn't move the goal post. I said the same thing for col and y'all killed me. I said, Cole or Drake don't need to respond to that. I said that, and y'all killed me for that. No, I said that, and y'all call so I wish Cole never responded. It wasn't about Cole. It wasn't all he dubbed the term big three? What is he talking about? What is he talking about? Gave col A half a bar? That was all for jig so what he still spin on the ball that he was said in his first number one song, Fuck the Big Three. Itgas just be big me. 00:42:42 Speaker 4: At the end of the day, Like you said, Cole didn't need to respond. 00:42:44 Speaker 2: He did not need to respond, but he did, and he took it back. And now I need therapy, you know it is. I didn't think Cole taking back his this record would lead to me needing therapy, but. 00:42:55 Speaker 5: Whatever, And to find you a nice Dominican woman, mall on that that's therapy I talked to as a reference to Rosenberg about having them on a Patreon episode, So maybe we have them on soon. 00:43:06 Speaker 2: I won't be here for that, taking a vacation. I'm going to a therapy of just a Min's therapy clinic in Arizona, in the desert somewhere. Go get my fucking mind right in my spirit right. 00:43:17 Speaker 4: So like rehab, are y'all looking forward? So we still don't trust you? 00:43:20 Speaker 1: Part two? 00:43:21 Speaker 4: I think it's gonna be way better than part one. I think part one they knew what was gonna happen. 00:43:25 Speaker 2: It Is it a completely new project? Or is it like Fall of Dogs when Drake released. 00:43:28 Speaker 1: The new album? 00:43:28 Speaker 2: So it's gonna be a completely completely new album. 00:43:30 Speaker 5: Okay, do you guys think because I've been reading all these fan theories and things, I think it's interesting. Uh, it seemed like everyone that was featured on the last out project also had a vendetta seemingly now against Drake. Do you think if there are any features, if at all, and they're saying that there aren't, but who. 00:43:45 Speaker 2: Knows what these guys? 00:43:46 Speaker 5: Yeah, if there are features, do you think it's it's more of that more artists coming to ban against Drake. 00:43:52 Speaker 3: Y'all know how much I love Ross and I would love to hear Future, Ross and Metro together on a record, especially the shape that Metro and Future in right now. But Ross better tread fucking lightly. If Ross gets on here even talking spicy sublimately, Actually I want him to because that might get Drake to come out, come out the whole pause. I want someone to talk spicy about Drake on this ship because I don't think Hendrick's gonna do it. So maybe if Ross starts getting on his scallop bars. 00:44:21 Speaker 5: Yeah, but Ross already had a feature on the first one I know, but that was I liked that record too, a song. 00:44:26 Speaker 3: Probably one of my favorite, probably my favorite record on there that was like in between the whole unfollow baby Mother going to the show thing like it wasn't really on yet. If Ross gets back on there. 00:44:40 Speaker 2: Baby Mother went to Drake show. Was she on the Roger? 00:44:44 Speaker 1: Yeah, no, she she took a picture of her envelope with the goal with the had she had. 00:44:48 Speaker 2: She had a package at Will Craig. 00:44:51 Speaker 1: No, No, she didn't go to ticket Master and buy a ticket. 00:44:54 Speaker 2: She was invited. 00:44:55 Speaker 1: She was in the green room. 00:44:57 Speaker 2: Well you know that's and she. 00:44:59 Speaker 1: Had never smoking to Drake a day before that. Unfollow Oh that was calculated. 00:45:04 Speaker 2: Got you, okay, he. 00:45:05 Speaker 1: Said, only stipulation And I'm making this up of course. Is you have to post that photo? 00:45:10 Speaker 2: Got you? 00:45:10 Speaker 1: Matter of fact, I'm gonna handwrite your name. Everyone's gonna know. 00:45:13 Speaker 3: That's my hand right from the boy from the that's the too ross BM not even a fun ross. 00:45:19 Speaker 5: From the boy in gold Leaf sharpie. 00:45:21 Speaker 1: And he looks like he would put like not even love the boy, like just heart the boy. 00:45:26 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, we'll see. 00:45:29 Speaker 1: I'm excited for this album. 00:45:31 Speaker 3: Speaking of deluxees and well not rat beef but r and Beef. We got the eleven eleven Deluxe and Chris Brown threw some shots. 00:45:40 Speaker 1: Did we start this beef? 00:45:41 Speaker 2: Yes? 00:45:43 Speaker 1: Is that being narcissistic to think that we started? 00:45:46 Speaker 2: Yes? 00:45:46 Speaker 1: Well, they hate each other, but we fueled it. 00:45:49 Speaker 2: That's why we spoke about it, because we reason like that Chris didn't funk with him before that. That's why we even spoke about them sitting next to each other like that. So do you know, Chris, you know now I'm not saying our clip didn't add fire you know something. I'm not saying it some inspiration to address. 00:46:06 Speaker 3: It, but you know it allowed Quavo to tweet and Chris to I G yeah, caption ship Yeah. 00:46:12 Speaker 5: Do you guys want to hear line? 00:46:14 Speaker 1: Of course? 00:46:15 Speaker 2: Three six booty. 00:46:16 Speaker 1: From Miami, she from Puerto Rico. Okay, that fucking Maco bitches ain't gonna make us see quote sitting in nineteen forty two because sound do no Quevo freak bitch like amigos, not the Migos. That song is hard. 00:46:28 Speaker 2: By the way, that's a ball I guess gonna make us Awarevo nigga ain't gonna make us equal. 00:46:35 Speaker 5: Quevo and Cuervo are a play on words. So he's saying, if I'm nineteen forty two, your Jose Cuervo. 00:46:41 Speaker 2: Which I don't think we needed you to break that ball down, thank you for that. 00:46:45 Speaker 3: Nineteen forty two is much higher quality to kill as well. I don't know if you knew that than Jose. 00:46:50 Speaker 5: Quervo's more different level, different shelf. 00:46:52 Speaker 2: Yeah, different different, It's just a little different bracket. I get it. 00:46:55 Speaker 3: Fun fact that no one cares about first time ever threw up from alcohol when it was fifteen Jose Quaribo. 00:47:00 Speaker 1: So I feel Chris on this, Yeah, made you sick? Hey, yo, don't even don't even start what she was about to say. 00:47:08 Speaker 2: She was about to get into some nasty ship. 00:47:10 Speaker 1: I know exactly what she was about to say. And we don't need that energy in here. 00:47:14 Speaker 4: Sorry. 00:47:16 Speaker 1: So does Quavo reply? Not the Rabbi if we want it, but is it the one we need? 00:47:21 Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, Cipher to get undercard, I don't listen. I just hope mental good, mental health on both of these gentlemen. On Chris and Quevo. I don't want to see black on black crime, police brutality, you know what I mean? Like I saying police brutality. 00:47:37 Speaker 3: That's what they said in it in the episode they kind of ties buzzwords and ship Nancy Pelosi all that, yo do I am I the only one that se ship the way. 00:47:46 Speaker 2: I was like, that's not wow, it's insane. That's fucking crazy, man. But anyway, you know, it is what it is. First of all, before we go any further, rest in peace to the legendary DJ mister c Yes, one of the architects, one of the pillars of hip hop, one of the guys behind some of the greatest MC's, greatest rappers we've ever heard, a staple on radio in New York City for years, a staple in the night life, in the club scene in New York City for years. We lost him yesterday. Uh, he passed away. Not sure how yet, hasn't been reported, but he has passed away. So rest in peace to the legendary DJ mister C. 00:48:26 Speaker 1: Yes is a reference. 00:48:27 Speaker 2: Condolences to his family, Prayers to his family, you know. And if you don't know who mister C is. Uh. And if you're a fan of hip hop, I don't know how you don't know who mister C is, but you know, read on who missus is. Read on what he's done, the artist that he's he's broke, the records he's broke, the the artist that he's DJed for. You know, he was just one of He's an encyclopedia of hip hop. And you know, they say our elders are like our our coaches libraries because they have so many stories and so many things to tell and things like that. And MISSISSI in the culture of hip hop, was definitely one of those one of those guys that if you ever had the chance to be around him and talk to him. You definitely left him knowing more about hip hop, knowing more about rap, and just knowing more about the culture period in general. So to lose somebody like that is definitely a big loss. So prayers again to his family, his loved ones, his friends, and you know, let's keep mister C's name alive. Yeah. 00:49:25 Speaker 3: I know people say this like every time someone passes, but he was one of the most genuine human beings I've ever met in my life. And I thank God was saying that when he was alive to and I think everyone that crossed mister C's path if it wasn't on. 00:49:39 Speaker 1: Like a Monday morning, because he wasn't really a morning person. 00:49:41 Speaker 3: Yeah, he was one of the nicest human beings ever. Fun quick like sea story just to like what represents who he was, at least to me. So he did a bunch of losers. 00:49:53 Speaker 1: I can't even count how many times he didn't lose it. 00:49:55 Speaker 3: Every Christmas, mister C has a list of everyone that he work throughout the year, who booked him, who he did business with, who he made money with. He calls every person on Christmas to wish them Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, whatever, let's work next year. Thank you for thinking to me, like that's different type of different, genuine shit. Like he was just a good dude. And to your point of the historian. 00:50:18 Speaker 1: Shit we did, I think was it for Barclays. We just did this this social promo for Palouza with C. 00:50:28 Speaker 2: And me. 00:50:28 Speaker 3: Carl and C went to just Bedstode just to shoot it. Took us like thirty seconds for the whole day. She just took us through Bedstode, LG just on like a hip hop tour of everything to do with fucking big Big Daddy Kane. 00:50:45 Speaker 1: Like it was. 00:50:47 Speaker 3: Just out of the kindness of his heart. He was like, yeah, back in thereborhood, le's just walk around, let me show y'all some shit. 00:50:51 Speaker 2: Yeah. He was just one of those guys, man that just loved hip hop, you know what I mean. He loved loved this culture that we built that has become one of the biggest cultures in the world. He was definitely one of the guys that helped to build it to where it is today. So yeah, huge loss. Personality that can't be replaced, passion that can't be replaced, but something that we should learn from and be as passionate and as loving in his culture as mister C was. So again, rest in peace to DJ mister C. 00:51:21 Speaker 3: And I think every DJ as competitive as they are anytime they were on a set list with Steve admits I got washed. 00:51:29 Speaker 2: Well, well, he's the finishing. He closed he set for a reason. You can't. You can't DJ after mister C. I wouldn't recommend that. 00:51:36 Speaker 3: It's not a good idea, but rest in peace press to his family. Yes, it was definitely a very shitty day yesterday. 00:51:42 Speaker 2: Also, rest in peace to Football Hall of Famer actor murderer. 00:51:50 Speaker 1: No, he's not wrong, Maul. You are you serious? 00:51:55 Speaker 6: Bro? 00:51:56 Speaker 2: Okay, he was found First of all, he was found not guilty. 00:51:59 Speaker 1: Come on, he was found not guilty. The court found him not guilty. 00:52:03 Speaker 2: So you can't put that on somebody. It's all I'm saying. You can't put that on somebody. If he's found not guilty, you can't put that on somebody. You can't put that on him. It's all I'm saying. If you go to the court and he's found not guilty. So now now we believe the court system. I'm just saying, you can't call him a murderer. If he was found not guilty. That's what I'm saying. 00:52:21 Speaker 5: I'm living him a murderer because he's a murderer. He was found not guilty though I understand that, all right, So you can come in here and criticize the court every week about their awful hearings and how they handle cases. 00:52:31 Speaker 2: This is one of those cases to you, which. 00:52:34 Speaker 1: Is fine, okay to you. Memorabilia Steeler, he was convicted of that. 00:52:41 Speaker 2: Jacket. Put that on his jacket, stealing merchant va. I'm found that. Put that on you. 00:52:45 Speaker 7: Jack. 00:52:45 Speaker 5: He's riding his Bronco into heaven right now. 00:52:47 Speaker 2: Chloe's father rest in peace to Football Hall of Fame. A. O. J. Simpson passed away at seventy six today. He had a battle with uh prostate cancer. I believe I didn't know that he was that public. I don't think it was no idea well either way, the public informations that he passed away. So prayers and condolences to his family. This is still somebody's love him with Julian. 00:53:11 Speaker 5: So was so was Nicole and that guy that random no one knows his name. He just was a victim for no reason. 00:53:19 Speaker 2: When they passed away. I'm sure people said I was too young, but sure, people say rest in peace to them too, So. 00:53:24 Speaker 3: Yeah, just they invented TMZ out of it. 00:53:29 Speaker 1: Well it didn't bring up their names. 00:53:30 Speaker 2: I no, no, I was. I was probably eleven when that happened. I don't remember that was two, I think, so yeah, rest in peace to O. J. Simpson uh passes away at seventy six. Prayers and condolences to his family. 00:53:45 Speaker 1: One of the more interesting rebrands of all time with oj O J. 00:53:50 Speaker 2: Simpson. 00:53:50 Speaker 1: Yeah, very strange. Speaking of convicted killers, I've gotten like a weird rabbit hole of Aaron. 00:54:00 Speaker 3: Hernandez's jail calls to like his friends and family are all over YouTube, and I felt nasty at first. It's like I shouldn't be hearing these conversations between him and his family, but they're like compelling and riveting. It almost makes me feel like he's fucking innocent. He should have he should have got on the stand. It's extremely because I've watched all the documentaries about Aaron. 00:54:24 Speaker 2: So you think Aaron Hernandez is innocent, movie just Simpson is guilty. I think both of them are guilty. OK. 00:54:29 Speaker 3: I think Aaron's guilty for the thing he was found innocent for as well. It just watching all the docks and all the evidence, it's like, yeah, he did that shit. But hearing him actually speak to his family like he had to have been the biggest sociopath ever, was he nothing about any of those calls would have felt like, yeah, this guy is definitely a serial killer. 00:54:50 Speaker 1: It's called me a naive. 00:54:52 Speaker 3: But I think that would have been a good strategy for the defense team to get him up there. Talking nothing about his vibe gives sociopath gives serial killer gives angry murder. 00:55:03 Speaker 2: I said the same thing about Ted Bundy. 00:55:06 Speaker 1: Yeah, but that I mean, yeah, you could talk. 00:55:10 Speaker 5: Yeah, Zach, but I was gonna say, you're talking about people that are bipolar, like you can compartmentalize crazy. 00:55:15 Speaker 1: But it's just very and of course he's talking to like his friends and family. 00:55:17 Speaker 2: Well, Aaron Hernandez was definitely by polar. 00:55:22 Speaker 1: But could have been the CT. It's not an excuse. 00:55:25 Speaker 3: But yeah, either way, if you're ever like bored and like on a run or have a long drive, just pull up the Aaron Hernandez jail calls. They're they're insane, They're talking about nothing, but it's it's so compelling. 00:55:38 Speaker 1: Weird sh bro My algorithms are we Yeah, who. 00:55:41 Speaker 4: Wants to listen to. 00:55:43 Speaker 1: What were you doing with? 00:55:44 Speaker 2: What time in the morning was it? 00:55:46 Speaker 3: I think I just because I'm almost done with a Dynasty Patriots thing on Apple TV, So my algorithms are all attached. Yeah, so that Aaron Hernandez ship came up, which, by the way, that episode in the Dynasty is about Aaron Hernandez like way different than the Netflix shit. Bill Belichick's in it, Robert Crafted, they really break everything down. 00:56:08 Speaker 1: I did not know that. 00:56:10 Speaker 3: When he was drafted, he asked Bill Belichick, Yo, my family is in danger. I'm scared for my life. Can you trade me to the West Coast? Before he played a single down for the New England Patriots. They asked Bill Belichick after that, like, so, why didn't. 00:56:25 Speaker 1: You trade him any great hands? Like it's unfortunate would happen to everybody? 00:56:31 Speaker 2: Have you seen him play? We got to ring out of it, yeah, because you know that's what Bill was thinking, like, have you seen that kid fucking run? Do you see him catch? I'm not trading him. 00:56:39 Speaker 3: And it's interesting hearing from like Dion Branch who was a wide receiver great, but I think he was a Super Bowl MVP at one point. That was really he was like, anytime Aaron was going through some weird shit at practice, they'd be. 00:56:49 Speaker 1: Like, go talk to Dion. 00:56:50 Speaker 3: Deon's the only one I can talk to him. He was like beating himself up. He's like, how did I not see it? 00:56:55 Speaker 2: Deon Branch was a Super Bowl MVP pretty sure one year he was over Tom Brady. 00:57:00 Speaker 1: I didn't I don't pick the MVPs. 00:57:01 Speaker 2: Mall you think that. I don't know. I don't know if Dian Branch won a Super Bowl MVP. I don't know if anybody, Yeah, name the MVP two thousand, was that the second one? First one? 00:57:12 Speaker 5: He had even receptions for one hundred and thirty three yards. 00:57:16 Speaker 1: He was great two thousand he was just like on the other end of Randy mosson what did they play. 00:57:20 Speaker 2: That game that was against Caroline? 00:57:23 Speaker 3: Right, Yes, hearing the jail calls, I can see why Dion was like, but I saw no signs that this guy was a full blow murder mm hmm. And I know OJ is deemed the craziest ship that we've seen in the sports world. I think this Aaron Hernandez thing is light gears crazier than the OJ thing could ever be. O. 00:57:43 Speaker 2: J doesn't give you serial killer vibes. 00:57:45 Speaker 3: No, he was pissed at his ex wife was fucking someone else. Aaron Hernandas was pissed someone failed to drink on him. 00:57:53 Speaker 2: M hmm. Yeah, it's a difference. It's a different. 00:57:57 Speaker 1: Catching two bodies at a bar and went after the Super. 00:58:00 Speaker 2: Bowl busting out the window too, and try at a red light. 00:58:03 Speaker 1: Yeah, that was right after the super Bowl. 00:58:05 Speaker 2: You're not crazy. 00:58:06 Speaker 5: What a wild night, yo. 00:58:08 Speaker 3: And he and he talks about ship with one of his one of his friends that he played with Florida with who I think went to the Dolphins and the Steelers or some ship. He has a bunch of jail calls with him, and like it just explains nights, like he would skip practice and like go to Rihanna concerts and like try to bag Rihanna, and Rihanna like walked away and he was like, fuck you bitch, and fuck Chris Brown bitch and like starts dying laughing. I'm like, all right, maybe there's a bit of a serial killer. 00:58:31 Speaker 2: You can see it. You can see it in certain people when they react a certain way to things. You're like, oh, you got that gene in you to do some crazy ship. 00:58:37 Speaker 3: He talks about bagging Sierra and then Sierra just like messages go green. It's it's it's funny but also just insane. So go listen to Aaron's jail calls. 00:58:48 Speaker 2: I'm gonna check that out. It sounds like some weird ship, but it sounds like it can be entertaining as well. 00:58:53 Speaker 4: You haven't gotten the the Who's the show? He told him. You haven't gotten to it yet? 00:59:00 Speaker 2: No, I didn't watch it yet. 00:59:01 Speaker 4: Too much shit been going on in the culture. 00:59:03 Speaker 2: Yeah, man, it's just been too much, you know, phone calls, conversations. I'm like, damn, like y'all niggas ain't called me in about a year to talking Kicky Like, nowybody. 00:59:11 Speaker 1: Call them my phone, don't call me now. Viral poppy, Nah, you are a viral poppy. I'm not Oh speaking of uh. 00:59:20 Speaker 5: One more person down in North Carolina, Clay Message. We didn't run into each other, but Clay was there for the first day and he said, next time he's in New York, he'll come through the studio and he'll kick it with us. 00:59:30 Speaker 2: Yeah, somebody told me that Clay is not the sickest one. And in the history of a love line, they told me somebody else that's sickening Clay. It's like you gotta I forgot what season it was. There was like go check that season, Like Clay was definitely he's a sick dude. But like they said, it's this other dude that's way sicken and Clay. So I got to check that out. 00:59:50 Speaker 1: Man, Clay should have give him cold pep talk right in the green room. 00:59:54 Speaker 2: What I actually Clay did? Cold did with Clay did? 00:59:59 Speaker 5: Got the whole Yeah, left you left Hendrick great, it would be dred at the altar. 01:00:04 Speaker 2: Yes, he left us, all right. We were all at the alter waiting and Cole said, now I don't want to do this. It's just like it's on brand for North Carolina. 01:00:13 Speaker 4: And I'm gonna do just like what's her name? What's her Just like ad did, I'm gonna stand beside. 01:00:19 Speaker 2: Him, stand beside I'm stand beside him. You left that nigga. 01:00:23 Speaker 4: No, they're still. 01:00:24 Speaker 2: Friends though friends they were engaged. Actually, grand tell me that friends they got engaged, Like we are you talking about? They're just friends? 01:00:33 Speaker 1: Voted back to front. 01:00:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, like, come on, they should have been friends before they got engaged. Fucking crazy. 01:00:43 Speaker 1: Do we have voicemails? 01:00:44 Speaker 2: You've got mail? Yeah, let's do uh, let's leave us one. See all right, let's get off music. 01:00:51 Speaker 1: For a bit. 01:00:51 Speaker 5: Here's one about it actually from Australia. 01:00:53 Speaker 1: This is working. 01:00:54 Speaker 2: It's probably sleep. 01:00:57 Speaker 8: Hey, guys from Australia. I'm just calling in about something work related, which might be a nice relief for you, guys. I need some advice on dealing with my manager. She's really amazing. Backstory, She's really amazing. My job is really amazing. I have been there about two and a half years, and I've had excellent career progression. My manager's been really instrumental in helping develop my career, so I'm super grateful. But she has a problem with being a micromanager and not being able to let things go. It's gotten to the point where she's had a couple of breakdowns at work and I'm getting really concerned about her wellbeing and I just wanted some advice on how to approach that with her in like the most delicate way possible, because I don't want her to feel like I'm attacking her or I'm just adding more. 01:01:56 Speaker 4: To her plates. 01:01:58 Speaker 8: I feel like Rory suffers from these kind of issues, So a bus from Rory would be good. But would love to hear from everyone. 01:02:06 Speaker 1: What's the issue? 01:02:08 Speaker 2: Her manager is micro managing her too much, like on her back, Yeah, not letting her work. It's not comfortable. 01:02:14 Speaker 1: So maybe she's the problem. Maybe she got to do her job better. Sorry I took it personally. 01:02:19 Speaker 4: Her manager has control issues. 01:02:22 Speaker 3: I think just have a one on one with your manager and say I work better this way. If you want to, like give me a list for the week, if that'll make you feel better about micromanaging. I can give you updates with the checklist. Hey I got this done. Like, there's other ways to go about it, so they're not constantly over your shoulder or texting you like, let me. 01:02:40 Speaker 1: Know what you need for the day and I'll hit the checklist. I don't think it's a very difficult conversation to have, depending on what her manager is like, well she's a complete psychopath and. 01:02:50 Speaker 2: Well it's all along the lines two of her saying she doesn't want to manage it feel like she's kind of like attacking her. 01:02:57 Speaker 1: But she feels attacked, so it works better without being micromanaged. 01:03:02 Speaker 2: That's it, And it's so in your approach, So in your approach, when and where and how you say it. I wouldn't have that conversation around other employees. That's like should be a private, Yeah, maybe even an afterwork thing. They seem seems like it could be a easy conversation. 01:03:18 Speaker 4: They seem to be the reason why I don't think it'd be easy conversations because it seems like they're close. And I think her issue is not even just that her manjure is micromanaging her, is that she's micromanaging everyone and she sees it stressed. She's worried about her own she's worried about her manager's mental health. And I think that you have to remember that old Jewish that you have to remember that that is your manager. So yes, you can talk to her about the way that she's handling you, but I would I would separate myself emotionally because a controlling person or a micromanaging person, they're not going to change. Like she's controlling, She's not going to change. She might change the shoe, but you're trying to change how she works and how she's been working her whole life. It's not going to work like that. I would take your emotions out of it. That's something she got deal with. 01:04:02 Speaker 3: I mean, if they are super close and it may be weird in person, maybe send an email and just try to word it correctly so tone isn't really lost the entire thing and you send her an email. They just wanted to run this by you. I work better this way and do it via email if you feel uncomfortable talking to them because you guys are close in the office. But I mean, it's Australia. They got other ship to worry about. 01:04:24 Speaker 2: Like spiders. Shit. Well, thank you, Emma for calling from Australia. We appreciate that. That's it, though you probably had another one cued up. I don't know. 01:04:34 Speaker 1: Yeah, this was more. This was more our speed. 01:04:38 Speaker 6: Yeah, let's do with your ma. 01:04:42 Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep this answer. Yeah, my nigga. He called in just to say that, Yo, it was good FN. 01:04:50 Speaker 6: I'm from Texas, mid twenties. Uh, stable job, I got a nice house. 01:04:57 Speaker 2: Uh put that on his jacket. 01:05:00 Speaker 4: No, no, no, because I can tell by the way he listed out his his accomplishments and what's so good about him he don't get no bitches, goad about. 01:05:07 Speaker 6: To say he's six feet I dabbled with a few shorties here and there. 01:05:12 Speaker 1: Shut down dabbles. 01:05:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, dabbles. I play with them and put them back in the box. 01:05:17 Speaker 1: Can't keep these holes off me exactly? 01:05:19 Speaker 6: Were paying out because I kind of just let ship linger. So I've been kicking it. I've been on my solo ship. 01:05:26 Speaker 2: Uh. 01:05:27 Speaker 6: The problem is, I don't really know if it's a problem because I get no bitches. 01:05:32 Speaker 2: Man, dam read well, he just said he dabbles. He was lying, he said he used to. 01:05:42 Speaker 1: I don't know. 01:05:43 Speaker 5: He said, yeah, in and out like nothing. 01:05:44 Speaker 2: And he said, I get no bitches. How you saying all those bitches back? But how you said? How you say you dabbled? And did say I get no bitches in the same conversation? Which one is? 01:05:51 Speaker 6: It? Is? 01:05:52 Speaker 2: It one mic? But what are you doing? 01:05:54 Speaker 1: They need a therapy? Should have never get no. 01:05:59 Speaker 6: I'll really go out my. 01:06:01 Speaker 2: Sure. 01:06:01 Speaker 6: I don't go man, I don't go out much at all, But I like, man, what do I need to do? Am I just maturing and getting out of that fun that fun stage. I don't know. Let me know. 01:06:22 Speaker 5: He sounds like well before way, but just real quick because he calls again and we don't need to give it the whole minute and a half here. But he says he's just he was in a six year relationship, then he got out of that fucked around, which is the dabbling with some other bitches. He said, all I know is a long term relationship, and to earn his trust is difficult for him. He said he's very much a homebody and just doesn't want to go out and find people. 01:06:42 Speaker 2: Well, it sounds like he's depressed or heartbroken and still healing, which is fine, but no. 01:06:48 Speaker 1: He could just be over the way he used to get bitches and meet people. He may not want to do that anymore. 01:06:53 Speaker 2: You say, you don't go out though, he don't do shit like he just this. 01:06:56 Speaker 3: Sounds like a guy that needs a dating app. Yeah, that's not taboo anymore. Like I think you should start that way, find someone with similar interests so it's an easier conversation. You don't have to go out to a lounge a bar or club or whatever. Just just start swiping and try to find someone. 01:07:09 Speaker 2: The dating app. The concept of a dating that is still so crazy. Here we go, that's why I've never been on it because it's kind of like going to like like instagram foods, a fast food spot and looking at the menu and saying, Yo, let me get. 01:07:19 Speaker 4: A nothing like that ship. 01:07:23 Speaker 1: The Hamburger has to like you back. 01:07:24 Speaker 2: Yeah. 01:07:24 Speaker 5: I was gonna say, there's a simple agency here. That's you're talking about back, talking about prostitution. 01:07:31 Speaker 2: No, I'm saying that you you're going somewhere, you're looking at a menu, because that's what it is. It's just a menu of people that you can go through and swipe through. 01:07:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, but you have to hope the shrimp likes you back. 01:07:40 Speaker 2: Yeah, but Instagram, but Instagram is not considered well I always say Instagram is a dating app, but they don't consider it a date ap But like when you're on a dating app, you're specifically there to swipe through people and be like, oh, she lives near me, let's see if she wants to go instagram me. You got me fucked up. If you think I ever was swiping through to my yo, you at pull up. 01:08:01 Speaker 4: Now, nobody does that on dating. 01:08:03 Speaker 2: He does that him right. Here's always a nig in the tree. 01:08:10 Speaker 4: In the tree. 01:08:10 Speaker 3: How I'm in the tree. Mal you've never went on a date. Now, money bags is not like swiping. It's the same thing, except the thousands of people see it. Yeah, oh when you go on a date. 01:08:23 Speaker 2: Julie sat here and said, he goes on dating apps. She's a girl that's listening here. Oh, I hit her up, see what's up? And you go get a beer? Go get He said, he's done that. 01:08:30 Speaker 5: Well, yeah that's what. Yeah, you meet someone and then go on a date with them. 01:08:35 Speaker 2: Is this not the same? I come back here every Tuesday? Yeah, how was that the same? This is dating app to me? Sorry? 01:08:43 Speaker 1: I was showings as How is that the same? 01:08:45 Speaker 4: Oh, don't ever apologize for showing Danny? 01:08:47 Speaker 1: Well, she puts it on Instagram she wants on the podcast. 01:08:50 Speaker 2: Was that the same? I just don't. 01:08:52 Speaker 3: That's another version of swiping. You're coming back every tuesday. 01:08:55 Speaker 5: Because if every girl it's a girl responds to your money bags and gives you like the eyes or like the whatever, or then it's like the same thing. 01:09:01 Speaker 1: You can find a time to meet up with her, get a juice or something. 01:09:05 Speaker 5: I don't know what the I was. 01:09:07 Speaker 3: I was weirded out by dating apps years and years ago, even though I've never been on one. I still I get them. Now it's more socially acceptable. I understand Julian. 01:09:18 Speaker 2: Talk to women that he just meets in person. 01:09:21 Speaker 1: See, I gotta I'm not gonna let you do that. I've been. I've been next to him where he just shot at random chicks. 01:09:26 Speaker 2: Julians he said it before. Of course I failed. 01:09:29 Speaker 1: I'm human. 01:09:30 Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, that's not not my failing. I'm saying that you you prefer to meet women on a dating app. 01:09:34 Speaker 5: I say it's easier. I don't prefer it, but it's much easier because I can. So they're there for that. Well, it's implied if you meet, they're there to date. If you if it's implied if you matched, your at least physically attracted to each other enough to meet in person or to talk. 01:09:48 Speaker 1: And well, what's the difference. 01:09:49 Speaker 3: So you you go into the tunnel, you got your freshest shit on tunnel, You walk right in, You dat flex right when you walk in, a couple of people buy out the whole bar. 01:09:59 Speaker 2: He gives you a ship when you have your menu. 01:10:01 Speaker 1: Is that not the same thing? 01:10:02 Speaker 3: Just one is in a phone and one isn't They sellt to like you back. You still have to kind of speak to them. 01:10:06 Speaker 2: It's not the same because we're actually in person. 01:10:08 Speaker 3: I could see this person, Yeah, but you can get You can see someone on a dating app after you message it say hey, let's meet up. 01:10:14 Speaker 2: A lot of tricks and loops with that shit. Now with dating aps, you don't look like that. 01:10:18 Speaker 1: You don't think the same. 01:10:19 Speaker 3: You don't think a girl in a dark club. I just say, with makeup on, you can't get catfished when the lights come on at the club. You've never been calfished? 01:10:25 Speaker 2: He definitely, Yeah, I mean when I was young as an adult. No, the fuck you think I've been catfish as a grown man. I'm saying, when you think this trick is not He's not that cute, no matter what the club or not. But I think I'm twenty twenty one. I don't give a fuck what she looks like. 01:10:42 Speaker 3: We've been on the internet so long we've started to adapt to what the catfish tells are anyways. Same way, when you know you're in the club is dark, you could tell by how she did her foundation that that girl don't look like that. 01:10:53 Speaker 2: Same thing. 01:10:54 Speaker 1: But if she got photos all shoulders up or just right here up. 01:10:59 Speaker 2: Yeah. But when you know, we looked just at all. But when I'm face to face, you can't get you can't get that showed up shit off. I'm looking right at you. That's why it's the difference. 01:11:06 Speaker 4: I don't know, man, be sucking it in. 01:11:08 Speaker 2: I could see a outfit. 01:11:10 Speaker 4: They got the little booty grabber things that you can like they're like shorts that have like a hole where your booty is that lift your butt in the club, like you can put some shit on that lifts your ass. And then when you take the clothes off the ad. I'm not wearing no ship like that. 01:11:22 Speaker 1: I got tricked by a file once. That was the most depressing thing ever you did. 01:11:28 Speaker 2: How did you get tricked by five three years ago? You didn't know she had one on? 01:11:31 Speaker 5: I didn't well, I didn't know what the fuck they were. 01:11:34 Speaker 2: She was wearing a bulletpoof vest. Well no, like I didn't. 01:11:37 Speaker 5: You know, you see a girl in the dress of the club like that looks great. And then we went back to her place and then she was like getting undressed and took that ship off, and I was like, oh hell no, I spilled out of that ship. She that shit sucks in like thirty pounds. Yeah, fuck that, I left. Why not get the fuck out of here? 01:11:57 Speaker 1: What does this lie? 01:11:58 Speaker 5: That's like if we get to your crib and then I take off my pants and I got two prosthetic legs on. 01:12:03 Speaker 1: Yeah, what's wrong with that? 01:12:05 Speaker 2: You still walk to the leg shame? Sorry, No, I still I still dance pretty well tonight, right with these wood legs. I was, I was on beat. 01:12:13 Speaker 1: I don't get tired. 01:12:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, I can run all night. 01:12:16 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well if she can't wear the fa shave your beard. 01:12:20 Speaker 2: That's not what I hate when women use that shave your beard. 01:12:25 Speaker 1: Beards are makeup for men. 01:12:26 Speaker 4: No, this is not. 01:12:27 Speaker 1: This is my face for real, it's not. 01:12:30 Speaker 2: There's some niggas without a bed. They got that they got that bottom, Joel, that like a cash registered. That ship changes everything beard. 01:12:39 Speaker 3: But I agree myself, Yeah it's natural. Yeah, but then again I guess the fah. 01:12:44 Speaker 2: Like, that's not natural. It's cotton. But it's not natal. 01:12:46 Speaker 3: You just you know, you're just putting all your organs in one place for the night, for the knights. Then once the night is over, they go back, and then all the organs go back to where they. 01:12:55 Speaker 5: Should be all right them all. So if you're suggesting he doesn't hit the dating apps and this guy is a home by, how does he meet women, Well, he. 01:13:02 Speaker 2: Gotta get outside. You can't. I mean staying home and just being on a date and nep meeting women. It's that's first step serial killer. One on one. 01:13:10 Speaker 1: He should go through your following and just try to not just get out. 01:13:13 Speaker 2: Where was I don't know where. Where did he say from Texas? 01:13:15 Speaker 1: I think Texas? 01:13:16 Speaker 5: Oh come on man, Yeah he didn't specify. I don't care what Texas. 01:13:20 Speaker 2: He's the big state Texas. I don't care what. Okay, we can we can assume he's black, he's African American. Correct, Caleb, his name is Caleb. I'm gonna say he's either in Dallas, Houston, or Austin. 01:13:32 Speaker 1: Okay, you don't think. 01:13:34 Speaker 2: I don't think Caleb is in San Antonio. 01:13:36 Speaker 1: Doesn't give you san Antonio about No. 01:13:37 Speaker 2: I don't think he's in Corpus Christie, I think, and that Nigga is in Galveston got him to they it's some nice ones in Gaveston, home fed. 01:13:47 Speaker 1: Christy has I don't know what you're talking about. 01:13:49 Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know that's a different type. 01:13:51 Speaker 1: They just get flooded out every hurricane, but they go back. 01:13:53 Speaker 2: Caleb is in Houston, Dallas, or Austin. I'm going with that, even Galveston. I'll give you maybe port author. 01:13:59 Speaker 1: But that could be even Pat has them. 01:14:03 Speaker 2: So he's inexting. 01:14:04 Speaker 3: Maybe he's overwhelmed then, because it sounds like he's from his crib, but he's saying he's over he used to do. I can't do Houston. Sometimes he may only know the hookah spots and strip clubs. Can he just explore his city? 01:14:18 Speaker 4: He's not over it. First of all, he called in to this podcast asking saying, Yo, I don't get no bitches help me. You're not over it. Second of all, he didn't say, or I think he didn't say I'm over He said, well, maybe maybe it's because I'm I'm not into the things I used to be into. No, you into it? You just saying got the juice no more? You gotta get your juice back. 01:14:36 Speaker 3: What do you mean he can't like he doesn't know the juice bounce guy, So the juice is officially loose. 01:14:43 Speaker 1: That's his that's his quote, not me. 01:14:46 Speaker 3: What do you mean he doesn't have the juice anymore, Like he can't get into the same spots, or he doesn't have the same amount of. 01:14:50 Speaker 4: Brain and not have the swagger. He might not have the mojo jojo. 01:14:55 Speaker 2: It's just he got to change what he's hanging out. Don't go to the club no more, go to a jazz m that's my bag. 01:15:02 Speaker 4: I went to a jazz lounge. I ain't gonna lie to y'all. Man, they wasn't in there. 01:15:06 Speaker 5: One of my favorite spots, Jango. 01:15:08 Speaker 4: They wasn't in there. We were the only ones in there. And shout out to one of the players. 01:15:11 Speaker 2: Because that would be one of your favorite spots. 01:15:13 Speaker 5: No, don't do that as one of the best. 01:15:15 Speaker 3: Not a lot of single, like straight single people at jazz clubs. It's not usually people on dates. 01:15:19 Speaker 4: Old ass white people. 01:15:21 Speaker 1: Yeah, old white people. This room is beautiful though, this venue. No, that's where we shot fab You be killing him really? Django? 01:15:29 Speaker 2: Yeah it was. 01:15:30 Speaker 4: It was beautiful in there. And shout out to them because they had like the musicians were wonderful. One of them recognized me. He was a fan of the show, So shout out to him. Josh was his name. 01:15:41 Speaker 1: But so you're saying Josh wasn't He's not wasn't your speed? You said they wasn't in there. 01:15:45 Speaker 3: He was one of the musicians, but he's not one of them, So you say you wouldn't beat a musician. 01:15:51 Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, y'all are purposely being But the bitches wasn't in there. 01:15:54 Speaker 1: Oh, I thought you were talking about the men. 01:15:56 Speaker 4: No, I'm talking where am I ever going looking for men? 01:16:00 Speaker 1: I could have told you the bitches wasn't at the jazz club, but you're the gents one, not me. 01:16:04 Speaker 4: Ball just told him to go to the jazz club. That's why I said that. 01:16:08 Speaker 2: I think the jazz club you're hanging out at just don't have Noh. 01:16:10 Speaker 1: The jazz club in Houston might have. 01:16:11 Speaker 5: Yeah, they probably gott I got hooka. 01:16:13 Speaker 2: I was waiting for somebody to say that. Y'all not gonna tell me that women don't go to jazz clubs with them exactly exactly my point. I'm just gonna sit there and let y'all talk yourselves in circles and then come back like y'all proven what I'm saying. Correct. 01:16:24 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm still on the side of get it on a dating after start. That's what I'm saying, and you can maybe need more bitches through those bitches that you mean, even if they're not the. 01:16:33 Speaker 2: Bitches he say you want to with. He sounds like he needs to be more social just in general. You can do both. 01:16:39 Speaker 1: You can do both. 01:16:40 Speaker 4: Go out and then see Julian to tell you. What you do is you go out and then you get on the dating app for bitches near you while you're out, and bitches be out on the dating apps while they're out. 01:16:50 Speaker 1: Well, I wouldn't tell you I don't do that. 01:16:51 Speaker 2: You don't. Yes, he's a fucking no no no no no no no no no, no no no no. 01:17:01 Speaker 5: Off the wake up, so you plan it's a long it's a long wake up, it's a long held, it's a long seed. 01:17:06 Speaker 1: You need help that, well, you use your teeth first, No, we wait. 01:17:09 Speaker 5: I would like go to the gym all you have it, and then say like, it's a Saturday morning. 01:17:13 Speaker 2: That's the rest of your day. How about it? 01:17:17 Speaker 5: Saturday morning when you look at you do this scene whatever, look at the app, whatever, and then you'll you'll catch a couple matches throughout the Saturday day and then going into the night you're having dinner with your guys or whatever, You've already by the time it would be the meetup time, it's like you've already been talking for maybe three or four hours. 01:17:36 Speaker 2: So it's like the bears at the top of the stream waiting for the salmon. It just jumped to them. 01:17:40 Speaker 5: There's a lot of salmon. 01:17:42 Speaker 3: What what usually is like your first three hour conversations, like just the basics or. 01:17:49 Speaker 1: It depends. I don't know. I don't have like a go to really take advice for this gentleman, Well my advice. 01:17:55 Speaker 5: Damn, I'm about to give out one of the best pieces of advice on a dating app. 01:17:59 Speaker 1: Game has to be sold in my gon put on a paywall. 01:18:01 Speaker 2: You heard what he just said. Damn, I'm about to give out some of the best piece of advice. 01:18:04 Speaker 5: This is real game because I know a lot of people that listen to this around dating app never like someone's photo. 01:18:11 Speaker 2: Mm, you just shook the room with that advice. 01:18:13 Speaker 1: Why mares came and you can't even compute that the marriage's been doing it wrong on the whole time. 01:18:20 Speaker 4: Almost just told you something too much last Wait, so what, Juliet, go ahead? 01:18:24 Speaker 1: I didn't know you could even like photos. 01:18:26 Speaker 5: So if you look at a hinge hinge profiles usually like three photos and then three prompts, so there's a photo prompt, photo prom photo prompts. So it's like the prompts like uh, two truths in a line, and then you can say whatever. 01:18:37 Speaker 2: It's like. 01:18:37 Speaker 5: You can choose whatever prompt you want to answer. You choose your venture, respond to the prompt. Always respond to a prompt, and if you're funny, respond with a joke. That's usually where I are you funny, That's usually where I crush. 01:18:49 Speaker 2: M hmm yo. I came in here with a different energy today because I'm telling you. 01:18:54 Speaker 1: Man, you still owe me an apology. 01:18:56 Speaker 2: Ball I apologize, I said, I apology, and Julie no bullshit. If what I said ruined your relationship with somebody, be their relationship. 01:19:06 Speaker 1: I was gonna say, why does more have to apologize? 01:19:09 Speaker 2: Because I didn't want I don't I don't want Julian to think that. You know I intended to do that. That wasn't my attention to baut friction between him and his friends. I didn't want to do that. But if what I said called friction between you and your friends, you got to reevaluate your friends. Bro because I wasn't I didn't have no malice, It wasn't no vehement what I was saying, I didn't mean no disrespect. But I was just standing on my opinion, my truth, and what a lot of people echoed the same sentiments. 01:19:34 Speaker 5: So, I mean, you know, the only thing I'd say is you only you have to remember a lot of ninety nine point like five percent of the people. 01:19:41 Speaker 1: You aren't listening to the full episode of course, just the viral clip. 01:19:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, just that. I'm sure Cole wants to fight me based off of a clip. I'm sure. 01:19:48 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:19:48 Speaker 2: But then if we then, if we watched it and listen to the whole episodes together, he gonna be like, oh n you fuck with me? Come on, dog? Yeah, you know. 01:19:55 Speaker 5: I mean, I don't like photos like the prompts. 01:19:57 Speaker 1: All right, great advice, doesn't sa how many likes they have already. 01:20:00 Speaker 4: No, it's not like that kind of like. It's like it's basically like a swipe. You know, you could say swipe left or swept swipe right. It's basically you swiping left or whatever. 01:20:10 Speaker 2: But it's not. 01:20:11 Speaker 4: It's just they call it a like, So like I can go and like your picture and it'll if you see it and you can hit match. 01:20:18 Speaker 1: That got it, So they see the answer to your prompt and then can accept you. 01:20:21 Speaker 4: Yes and respond. If you answer a prompt, it automatically starts a conversation. 01:20:26 Speaker 1: Gotcha. 01:20:27 Speaker 4: So I would advise that he get on dating apps. I would advise that you get outside, and I would advise that you get in your bag. And when I say get in your bag, go get a fresh cut, go get a new outfit, update your Instagram, like really, start like eat well, go to the gym. And once you start like feeling yourself, you'll start exuding that confidence and people will smell that on you and they'll be attracted to you. I would do all all three, all of the above, because we could smell when a nigga looking for bitches. If you just out and your goal is, man, a bitch, I need a bitch, it's literally we smell it on you. We can smell the desperation. 01:21:04 Speaker 5: It's disgusting. 01:21:05 Speaker 2: Smelling desperation is hilarious, unders a little funky. 01:21:09 Speaker 4: It's just like it's a You could smell it the same way when you out and you see a bitch that just like, oh, she just wants. She came here to try to you see it, Ma, you can smell that ship. 01:21:19 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a great smell. 01:21:21 Speaker 2: She she'll usually let you know two hundred four an hour. 01:21:26 Speaker 1: You need to smell ship. 01:21:27 Speaker 2: You hundred to spend the night, She'll let you know, like for spending. 01:21:30 Speaker 4: Night, hundred, spend the night, wowed up the prices four hundred. 01:21:34 Speaker 1: That's it. I don't think we ever canceled that. Oh my god, we did, so we did. 01:22:42 Speaker 2: I have not been on Tender since that night. 01:22:44 Speaker 3: There was a Patreon thing we signed up for Tender where I made a profile about mal like I was Maul on Tender and he was me on Tinder. And I think I got the premium like unlimited swipes because so we could swipe for everybody. 01:22:58 Speaker 1: I think that might still be on our account. 01:23:00 Speaker 2: Yeah, let's take that off. I think they just turning like rocks or something like it is turned into boiled dil though. 01:23:40 Speaker 1: They turned into a Yankee fitted. 01:23:42 Speaker 2: They turned into jerseys or something. Some days sometimes you feel like sometimes you know, get it? Have you ever have you ever seen a dyke funeral? Have you demarraici you bi sexual? 01:24:47 Speaker 1: Have you? Yes? 01:24:50 Speaker 4: I had an that was ad that yes. Did she wear a suit she died of HIV? Was no, she didn't wear a suit per se, But she wasn't just super feminine? 01:24:59 Speaker 1: Gotcha? 01:25:01 Speaker 2: That is so interesting to me. I never I've never seen anybody go to like a not lesbian because I know pretty lesbians. 01:25:08 Speaker 1: That you're not talking about them right. 01:25:10 Speaker 2: Somebody study to know. They call them like the lipstick lesbians, like the feminine lesbians. I've seen feminine gay women's funerals. I've seen that, but I'm talking about like the butch like the that we go to the same ball with them women. I've never seen them masculine presenting, masculine presenting. 01:25:24 Speaker 5: I've like tortoises, they lived to like three hundred. 01:25:26 Speaker 2: I've never seen a funeral from one of them. 01:25:28 Speaker 3: Never. 01:25:29 Speaker 2: And I know if I grew up around some and I'm like, yo, like, has anybody niggas been like yo? Now did you say that? 01:25:36 Speaker 6: Nah? 01:25:36 Speaker 2: I don't. I've asked this question of like eight people, none of them could be. They be like, yo, bro, why did you ask that question to eight? Because I thought about it. I was just like, yo, I've never been and I've been to a lot of funerals. I've never been to a masculine presenting women's funeral never. I've never seen it. 01:25:52 Speaker 1: So that's why I was like, you're saying that science should study them, Yo. 01:25:58 Speaker 2: We might need to look at But. 01:26:01 Speaker 4: Yummy is do you have any friends that are masculine presenting women. 01:26:04 Speaker 1: Yes, I do, and they're they are they're all still alive. 01:26:08 Speaker 5: What about a gay man's funeral. 01:26:10 Speaker 2: I've been a few of those. 01:26:11 Speaker 4: We just got so many. 01:26:13 Speaker 1: Just sounds funny after our last. 01:26:15 Speaker 2: I've been a few of those. 01:26:16 Speaker 1: So you've been to funerals, but a few gay a few gay men. Not gay funerals. No, not a gay funeral, just just a funeral. 01:26:24 Speaker 2: No, not a gay funeral, but like it was a those it's the gay man, a gay man that passed away. I've been to that type of funeral before. 01:26:33 Speaker 3: Yeah, because I would just think that, you know, it's not Bible verse. They sing linell like whatever, you know, housing hanging to the left whatever. 01:26:41 Speaker 2: No, it is what it is, but they vogue if they carry the casket. Yeah, Like I don't know, but I'm just saying I've never been to masculine presenting woman's funeral, but the marriage said her aunt. 01:26:51 Speaker 3: Well, I think that's good because that means all the masculine women in your life are still healthy in a life. 01:26:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think that we need to figure out what they're doing where they are. Their life span is so long. 01:27:03 Speaker 1: Which is kind of crazy though, because all the very masculine I think. 01:27:06 Speaker 2: They all live in the blues women the blue zones in the world where it's like people that live the longest. I think. I think that the masculine presented women found the blue zones in the world. 01:27:16 Speaker 4: Maybe they don't get male attention and that probably allows them to live longer. 01:27:20 Speaker 1: They are not they be dogging these just their karma is awful? 01:27:23 Speaker 6: Is it? 01:27:24 Speaker 1: Masculine women dog women out way worse. 01:27:26 Speaker 7: Than we do. 01:27:28 Speaker 2: Damn I didn't know that. 01:27:30 Speaker 1: And if you think about it, how healthy they are. 01:27:32 Speaker 3: Most of the masculine women I know drink way too much tennecy, have awful diets, do not work out. Yeah, it is interesting how they have that. 01:27:42 Speaker 2: That is so interesting to me. That's something to be study. I know it's like a weird thing to think about, but I really am interested in that. Like I've never seen that before, Like I've never seen a masculine presented. 01:27:51 Speaker 1: Women's like dykes and Cuban men just live till the one hundred. 01:28:00 Speaker 2: Interesting. 01:28:00 Speaker 5: Well, No, I don't want to do a hard topic change, but this happened.
