BIGFOOT ENCOUNTERS AND EXPERIENCES FROM KENTUCKY (MY WIFE ENCOUNTERED A SASQUATCH CREATURE)

<v Speaker 1>this episode, we have Dr. DR and his wife live
<v Speaker 1>in Kentucky and they have been experiencing bigfoot activity for
<v Speaker 1>many years now. They live on a homestead out in
<v Speaker 1>the middle of the forest and they claim that they
<v Speaker 1>have experienced some strange phenomenon that cannot be explained. Kentucky
<v Speaker 1>has had many bigfoot reports in the past, and I
<v Speaker 1>believe it's going to continue for many years. The forest
<v Speaker 1>is very ancient and it's a beautiful state. Honestly, if
<v Speaker 1>you guys have a bigfoot encounter that you would like

<v Speaker 1>with all that being said, let's dive straight into DR's
<v Speaker 1>bigfoot encounters from the state of Kentucky. All right, do
<v Speaker 1>you are welcome to Sasquatch Theory. How are you doing today?
<v Speaker 2>Doing very well? Thank you?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, do your It's a pleasure to have you on
<v Speaker 1>the show. And I'm glad that you contacted me to
<v Speaker 1>share these encounters and experiences. If you would tell me
<v Speaker 1>a little bit about yourself and how you got into
<v Speaker 1>all this.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I was raised in Kentucky and wound up traveling
<v Speaker 2>through about forty different states for a long time, for
<v Speaker 2>over for over two decades, and basically I've made my
<v Speaker 2>way through the trades, and I also mined for what
<v Speaker 2>they would say, prospected for Courtz Crystal in Arkansas for
<v Speaker 2>about two decades. And so I spent a lot of
<v Speaker 2>time all around the country in many different forests, national forest,
<v Speaker 2>state forests, preserves, plate up and down the Appalachian Trail
<v Speaker 2>several times. I haven't done the whole thing, but about
<v Speaker 2>seven hundred miles worth. But basically wound up coming off
<v Speaker 2>of twenty three years of being on the road and
<v Speaker 2>wound up meeting my wife. We got together. We've been
<v Speaker 2>together for seven years. For the last five years we
<v Speaker 2>have created a homestead in the mountains of eastern Kentucky
<v Speaker 2>and we started with a tent out here. We got
<v Speaker 2>about two twenty five acres and it's rugged terrain. It
<v Speaker 2>started with a tent up on our police hill and
<v Speaker 2>we've been completely off grid for five years out here,
<v Speaker 2>which is basically I lived my life all over the
<v Speaker 2>country in the forest. So of course you know, I'm
<v Speaker 2>not taking generators and electricity and everything with me into
<v Speaker 2>the forest. So I've been living over the grid or
<v Speaker 2>I guess yes, about twenty eight years now. And my
<v Speaker 2>wife had never had an experience. She was up for it,
<v Speaker 2>which there's not a whole lot of win that we'll
<v Speaker 2>go live in a tent in the middle of the
<v Speaker 2>mountains with you, But she trusted my experience and we
<v Speaker 2>had a good enough relationship we were able to persevere.
<v Speaker 2>We've been off for five years out here together, like
<v Speaker 2>I said, moved into camper. We are there for two winters.
<v Speaker 2>In a week from now, on August twenty fourth, it'll
<v Speaker 2>be two years. Our cabin that we built together and
<v Speaker 2>hauled all the wood from the sawmills all that stuff,
<v Speaker 2>stained it and did the whole process, and we built
<v Speaker 2>the cabin and a bath house and an outhouse. And
<v Speaker 2>so now to get into where my life actually feeds
<v Speaker 2>into what people want to hear, that's a little bit
<v Speaker 2>of background about who I am, what I'm doing, and
<v Speaker 2>my experience. So my first sasquatch encounter took me by
<v Speaker 2>complete surprise. It was something that I couldn't shake off
<v Speaker 2>of me for a while because it was so close
<v Speaker 2>and I was twenty four years old in nineteen ninety nine,
<v Speaker 2>and a friend and I were in North Carolina on
<v Speaker 2>the Appalachian Trail, and I remember the road that we
<v Speaker 2>went off of was called Hempseed Hill Road. We went
<v Speaker 2>out there. We wound up, I believe, hiking about five
<v Speaker 2>miles south from wherever the parking lot was. We walked
<v Speaker 2>about five miles south set up. He set up his
<v Speaker 2>tent with his dog, and I slept next to the
<v Speaker 2>fire pit, just being in the middle. It was probably
<v Speaker 2>June or July something like that, and nothing had occurred
<v Speaker 2>to me that it was out of the ordinary. We
<v Speaker 2>you know, we went to sleep, We hiked the miles,
<v Speaker 2>We made food. I had my guitar with me, We
<v Speaker 2>played music. We we just did our thing. And then
<v Speaker 2>I woke up at about i'd say probably about five
<v Speaker 2>o'clock in the morning, just as dawn was taken over
<v Speaker 2>the night. I woke up, I stoked up the fire,
<v Speaker 2>I got my guitar out, started strumming, playing the music,
<v Speaker 2>and then about i'd say about one hundred and sixty
<v Speaker 2>to one hundred and eighty feet away from me, up
<v Speaker 2>on the sloping ridge above me as the mountain Chris,
<v Speaker 2>you know, goes and slopes upward away from where we
<v Speaker 2>were camped at little ways up there, not far from me,
<v Speaker 2>I heard a bunch of thick rustling around and it stopped.
<v Speaker 2>It was over top of me sitting there playing guitar.
<v Speaker 2>I could hear it. So I stopped playing and just
<v Speaker 2>kept hearing this rustling about. And what had triggered on
<v Speaker 2>me psychologically was it sounded to me like there was
<v Speaker 2>three or four or five people moving about right there.
<v Speaker 2>And so my young twenty four young, twenty four year
<v Speaker 2>old mine, I'm forty nine now, this is twenty five
<v Speaker 2>years ago, but my young mind immediately kind of went
<v Speaker 2>back to the whole deliverance thing, like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>there's some wild hicks up here in the hills. Oh
<v Speaker 2>my god. You know, we're miles deep on the trail,
<v Speaker 2>on the Appalachian Trail, And so I kind of got
<v Speaker 2>a little paranoid there for a second, like, oh my gosh,
<v Speaker 2>there's and I said hello, hello, anybody up there, trying
<v Speaker 2>to get some response and trying to clarify what's happening,
<v Speaker 2>and there was no response. It just was continued rustling around,
<v Speaker 2>and so it kind of peeked me up into survival
<v Speaker 2>mode at that point. So I had a large walking
<v Speaker 2>stick with me, and I started putting it into the
<v Speaker 2>fire that I had started at dawn. I started getting
<v Speaker 2>the fire up on my walking stick, and I was like, well,
<v Speaker 2>if nothing else, I've got a burning spear to try
<v Speaker 2>and stab you with if somebody's going to come at me.
<v Speaker 2>That's what my thought was. So I started grinding and
<v Speaker 2>put into a fine point as best as I could,
<v Speaker 2>kind of in between the rocks, trying to spear it
<v Speaker 2>off a little bit and catch it on fire. And
<v Speaker 2>I guess whoever was standing up there saw me doing
<v Speaker 2>this and understood what I was doing. And the next
<v Speaker 2>thing I knew was I heard the wind. And I
<v Speaker 2>do mean this like the sheer force of wind air
<v Speaker 2>breaking happening by a large branch, a very large branch
<v Speaker 2>being swung and smashed against a tree. And I guarantee
<v Speaker 2>you that branch that I heard shatter weighed at least
<v Speaker 2>twice as much as iwayh you know, it weighed more
<v Speaker 2>than I do. It was a very large branch, and
<v Speaker 2>I heard the wind behind it and it shattered against
<v Speaker 2>the tree. And then of course I'm standing there thinking
<v Speaker 2>to myself, oh, my god, what could cause that? And
<v Speaker 2>as I'm having that thought, it hollered at me. And
<v Speaker 2>I'm not going to say I'm going to be a
<v Speaker 2>great representation, but I can give you an idea what
<v Speaker 2>it sounded like. It was kind of like oo like that.
<v Speaker 2>And as I sat there and heard that, I thought,
<v Speaker 2>there's not a bear that can pick up a branch
<v Speaker 2>and do that, And that definitely doesn't sound like a bear.
<v Speaker 2>And then I remember kind of at the end of
<v Speaker 2>the how it kind of went up. It kind of
<v Speaker 2>crescendoed up a little bit at the end, like whoa
<v Speaker 2>at the end. And at that point, once that happened,
<v Speaker 2>I'm just psychologically just like, oh my god, what that
<v Speaker 2>is going on? So I ran over, unzipped my buddy's tent,
<v Speaker 2>stuck my head in there, and said, Brad, you need
<v Speaker 2>to get up, Get up now, there's something out here.
<v Speaker 2>And he's like, he's real slow to wake up, and
<v Speaker 2>I kept shaking him. I was like, wake up now,
<v Speaker 2>and he saw the seriousness when he looked at me.
<v Speaker 2>I said, get up, there is something here. I said.
<v Speaker 2>Something just yelled at me and smashed a branch against
<v Speaker 2>the tree and it's right there. And he like he
<v Speaker 2>wakes up and he gets his senses and he's getting
<v Speaker 2>he's He looks at me. He goes, so what And
<v Speaker 2>I explained it again. He goes, well, didn't you hear
<v Speaker 2>the freight train come through the campsite down the trail
<v Speaker 2>last night? I said what? And I'm a very hard sleeper.
<v Speaker 2>He looked at me, and he goes, I looked at
<v Speaker 2>my watch and it was two nineteen am, and it
<v Speaker 2>sounded like a freight train of seven people came flying
<v Speaker 2>through the trail and his dog that he had at
<v Speaker 2>the time, named Buddy. His dog is about one hundred
<v Speaker 2>and ten pound dog. He said it was everything he
<v Speaker 2>could do to keep his dog inside his tent from
<v Speaker 2>busting his tent down. He said, his dog was going nuts.
<v Speaker 2>I slept through the whole thing. I didn't hear a
<v Speaker 2>dang thing. And he told me that this had happened
<v Speaker 2>at two nineteen and I looked at him, and we
<v Speaker 2>looked at the watch and it was like six twenty
<v Speaker 2>or something like that. I was like, we need to
<v Speaker 2>get the hell out of here now. So we packed
<v Speaker 2>up and we left. We walked back out to the car.
<v Speaker 2>We drove. We're like well, we had like two or
<v Speaker 2>three days we had planned a camp together, like, well,
<v Speaker 2>let's go somewhere else. So we got out a top
<v Speaker 2>of graphical map. We looked and we saw a place
<v Speaker 2>that was like fifteen or eighteen miles north of there,
<v Speaker 2>that was off on a whole other set of ridges,
<v Speaker 2>off on another mountain. We're like, let's go, let's go
<v Speaker 2>explore this. So we get out there. We drove up
<v Speaker 2>there for a few hours, because it's like, you know,
<v Speaker 2>two hours, get all the way out from where we
<v Speaker 2>were and drive up to the new place. We get
<v Speaker 2>out there, we go out, we go walk in out
<v Speaker 2>these ridges, get way out there. We spent the day,
<v Speaker 2>spent the night. The only thing that I noticed, it
<v Speaker 2>was very strange it happened that night, was that we
<v Speaker 2>were both sitting around the fire and we were very
<v Speaker 2>attuned to all the sounds of the forest, and at
<v Speaker 2>one foul swoop everything. It was like someone took the
<v Speaker 2>volume knob and turned it down to zero, like say
<v Speaker 2>it was at nine, they took it and turned it
<v Speaker 2>down to zero. It went down, Everything shut down and
<v Speaker 2>went completely silent. And we both took note of that
<v Speaker 2>and we're like, wow, that's strange. Everything just went quiet.
<v Speaker 2>Well that's all that really happened that night. Well, we
<v Speaker 2>wake up the next day. He had to get me
<v Speaker 2>back to where I was going. He had to get
<v Speaker 2>back home. So we get back to the car and
<v Speaker 2>it's like a two hour walk. We walked back out
<v Speaker 2>from the ridge, you know. We get back to where
<v Speaker 2>we parked, get back out to the car, and there's
<v Speaker 2>this I want to say about a ninety year old
<v Speaker 2>man with his grandson out there and they're parked with
<v Speaker 2>their old, like nineteen seventy eight Ford truck and they're
<v Speaker 2>parked there chopping and hauling up and splitting and putting
<v Speaker 2>wood in the back of their truck. And we got back,
<v Speaker 2>probably about ten thirty in the morning, back to the car,
<v Speaker 2>and he looks over at us. I mean, this guy
<v Speaker 2>was old. And he looks over at us as we're
<v Speaker 2>packing up. I'll never forget. We're packing up his Chevy
<v Speaker 2>Burretta and packing it up in the trunk, and he goes, oh,
<v Speaker 2>you boys went out there on the ridges last night. Huh, yes, sir,
<v Speaker 2>we did. Yeah, yeah, And he stops and he looks
<v Speaker 2>around both sides of his head, looks back at us.
<v Speaker 2>He goes, you see anything interesting out there? And Brad
<v Speaker 2>and I just kind of looked at each other like no,
<v Speaker 2>and he just kind of looked around. He goes, huh,
<v Speaker 2>you boys, have a great day. And so we didn't
<v Speaker 2>understand what was going on, but we started talking about
<v Speaker 2>it and looking at the map that we were using,
<v Speaker 2>and I was like, Oh, the old man knows that
<v Speaker 2>this is going on out here. The old man knew.
<v Speaker 2>That's why he said that to us. But this was
<v Speaker 2>my very first encounter, so I didn't have a real
<v Speaker 2>good reference point because I was still bewildered by what
<v Speaker 2>the heck had just happened to me that morning previously.
<v Speaker 2>So that was my very first encounter, and it was
<v Speaker 2>very close. I mean I was like, you know, one
<v Speaker 2>hundred and sixty one hundred and seventy five feet away.
<v Speaker 2>It wasn't far at all. It was that close. And
<v Speaker 2>so now I'm going to jump forward to what I
<v Speaker 2>have to attribute to my next experiences, which was going
<v Speaker 2>back up to my first spiritual stomping ground, which is
<v Speaker 2>the Red River Gorge in eastern Kentucky Mountains in a
<v Speaker 2>Daniel Boone National Forest. It's in the sector B of
<v Speaker 2>the Daniel Boone, and so I've been going out there
<v Speaker 2>to those woods since I was nineteen years old and
<v Speaker 2>since ninety four, and back in twenty sixteen, I had
<v Speaker 2>two dogs at the time, and a girlfriend was with me,
<v Speaker 2>and we went out to what they call Frisbee Field,
<v Speaker 2>and anybody that knows about Indian Creek and the Red
<v Speaker 2>River Gorge you know exactly where I'm talking about. Went
<v Speaker 2>out the Frisbee Field and we set up our tent
<v Speaker 2>and at the big field. People have been camping there
<v Speaker 2>for decades, and we could barely keep the tent structure
<v Speaker 2>together while both the dogs went nuts inside of it
<v Speaker 2>because there were large boulders being thrown into the creek
<v Speaker 2>just after dark, and it persisted for the whole event
<v Speaker 2>lasted probably for thirty five or forty minutes. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't just a one second thing. It went on
<v Speaker 2>and on and on and on and on, and I
<v Speaker 2>finally walked out with the dogs and the leashes and
<v Speaker 2>tried to kind of quiet the scene, and eventually everything
<v Speaker 2>kind of mellowed back out. But yeah, there was definitely
<v Speaker 2>some very large boulders being thrown in the creek there,
<v Speaker 2>and we were probably one hundred and twenty feet from
<v Speaker 2>the creek, earned twenty five feet from the creek, something
<v Speaker 2>like that, And so that was like my next feeling, like, oh,
<v Speaker 2>this is this is happening again. But I haven't actually
<v Speaker 2>gotten to to what everybody actually should hear. I'm just
<v Speaker 2>telling you what it was like as a regular person,
<v Speaker 2>if you will, in air quotes, a regular person to
<v Speaker 2>go through life and have these encounters. Now that we've
<v Speaker 2>been here since twenty nineteen on our land for the
<v Speaker 2>last five years, there's been more experiences here and more
<v Speaker 2>physical objects and everything else that I can describe and
<v Speaker 2>talk about that I've encountered and have actually been I
<v Speaker 2>think at this point kind of working with I think
<v Speaker 2>there's a whole family that actually of you know, it's
<v Speaker 2>so weird to put, like, you know, a generic term
<v Speaker 2>like sasquatch or bigfoot on something like this, because I
<v Speaker 2>believe that they're just like you and I They're actually
<v Speaker 2>they're actually more like a conscious being than they are
<v Speaker 2>some wild animal or creature. So I don't feel quite
<v Speaker 2>proper addressing them with such a generic term myself personally,
<v Speaker 2>because I think that they're just like us, where they
<v Speaker 2>have emotion and they have the ability to have a
<v Speaker 2>good day in a bad day. So that being said,
<v Speaker 2>I sent you pictures yesterday, Miguel, and I think thank
<v Speaker 2>you for allowing me to come onto your show. I
<v Speaker 2>think this is actually a great platform to help support
<v Speaker 2>people in different ways. The pictures I showed you were
<v Speaker 2>of the X structure that is about probably from my
<v Speaker 2>cabin door. To walk over there, I can walk over
<v Speaker 2>there in probably thirty seconds or so. It's not far
<v Speaker 2>maybe twenty seconds. It's not far away. It's stuck in
<v Speaker 2>the woods. It's been there for obviously for decades because
<v Speaker 2>some of the wood is now rotting and has fallen off.
<v Speaker 2>But it was an X brace put in a crux
<v Speaker 2>of a dual spire tree that's been there for decades.
<v Speaker 2>And that's what I was showing you. We've had so
<v Speaker 2>many different structures built on this place. It took us
<v Speaker 2>a while to understand just what was happening here. The
<v Speaker 2>first real thing that made me think of once we
<v Speaker 2>established ourselves on this land and we're very comfortable and whatnot.
<v Speaker 2>There's a waterfall. From the cabin. There's a water about
<v Speaker 2>a twenty two foot waterfall that's about it's about a
<v Speaker 2>four minute walk through the woods, there's a trail goes
<v Speaker 2>through it takes you there. Well, I took a it
<v Speaker 2>took a nautical boat tying rope that can sustain you know,
<v Speaker 2>water and whatnot and weather, and I made knots every
<v Speaker 2>so often on it so that you could descend down
<v Speaker 2>to the waterfall off of the cliff side there. So
<v Speaker 2>you walk down the rope and I figured, I'm just
<v Speaker 2>going to the rest of this fifty foot rope is
<v Speaker 2>dangle here, because who cares? Who cares about this black
<v Speaker 2>rope laying here? And this was, you know, like four
<v Speaker 2>years ago, and it was the first thing that really
<v Speaker 2>tweaked my noodle as far as somebody doing something out
<v Speaker 2>here that I wasn't aware of. And that black rope
<v Speaker 2>that I let dangle off the cliff side there at
<v Speaker 2>the bottom, the last twelve feet fifteen feet of it
<v Speaker 2>was wrapped up around a dead chunk of log and
<v Speaker 2>placed and tucked back under the rock cropping there and
<v Speaker 2>placed back in there. And that was done probably maybe
<v Speaker 2>a month after I put the rope there. And I
<v Speaker 2>thought to myself, who's going to walk out in the
<v Speaker 2>woods and wrap up the end of this rope. Who's
<v Speaker 2>going to care about that, and so that was like
<v Speaker 2>the first thing. And of course all of the structures
<v Speaker 2>that we've been seeing for years out here, we see
<v Speaker 2>we have about eight different logging roads that crisscross our land,
<v Speaker 2>and we've cleaned them all out. We've cleared them all
<v Speaker 2>out so that we have a built trail system that
<v Speaker 2>traverses all of our land. And so as we kept
<v Speaker 2>on clearing the land out, we kept finding more and
<v Speaker 2>more of A frame and X frame and TP frame
<v Speaker 2>structures all over the place, in trees, next to trees,
<v Speaker 2>leaning on trees, in branches, trees being pulled over sideways
<v Speaker 2>and hooked to other trees, all these different things, and
<v Speaker 2>we kept seeing it for years, over and over. The
<v Speaker 2>biggest one that honestly kind of made me realize that
<v Speaker 2>someone is communicating to me happened. I'd say, I think
<v Speaker 2>this was about two and a half years ago is
<v Speaker 2>when it showed up. We have a graveyard that's on
<v Speaker 2>our property that has a very small puppy that has
<v Speaker 2>the ashes of my best friend who was actually murdered
<v Speaker 2>in twenty eighteen. I had his ashes there. And I
<v Speaker 2>have a grave for my fourteen and a half year
<v Speaker 2>old dog that I traveled the country with that dog,
<v Speaker 2>went to thirty six states with me, and she's there,
<v Speaker 2>and so it's our graveyard. And about i'd say, about
<v Speaker 2>thirty five to forty feet away from the graveyard, in
<v Speaker 2>the middle of one of the lumber roads that we
<v Speaker 2>traverse that we use for our trail system. In the
<v Speaker 2>middle of it was a probably a ten the twelve
<v Speaker 2>year old pine tree that was completely bent and arcd
<v Speaker 2>and then pinned down by a very large chunk of wood,
<v Speaker 2>very large branch, and then it was actually three branches
<v Speaker 2>that created a square with the bent pine tree, and
<v Speaker 2>it was almost like a perfectly perpendicular square. And it
<v Speaker 2>was built right in the middle of our lumber road
<v Speaker 2>that we used to walk down to our creek and
<v Speaker 2>to where the graveyard is. And I actually understood at
<v Speaker 2>that point, like this is definitely happening, that this is
<v Speaker 2>obviously this has been here longer than us, and I
<v Speaker 2>think it understood the sacredness of what was happening there
<v Speaker 2>at the graveyard, and I think it was building something to,
<v Speaker 2>you know, some type of structure for its own purpose
<v Speaker 2>in accordance with what we had done. And I left
<v Speaker 2>it there for about eight months and I didn't feel
<v Speaker 2>like walking around it anymore. That's why I picked it
<v Speaker 2>up and moved it. Another fun one that's happened out
<v Speaker 2>here is that a year ago, in two days as
<v Speaker 2>my wife's and mine first anniversary, we got on August nineteenth.
<v Speaker 2>We got married a year ago, and for our wedding
<v Speaker 2>we had created these fruit platters. Well, I had enough
<v Speaker 2>fruit that I had chopped up, and I never made
<v Speaker 2>it to the final honeydew. I'd already chopped up enough honeydew.
<v Speaker 2>I had one whole honeydew that I left sitting outside
<v Speaker 2>on the picnic table that I was letting ripen up,
<v Speaker 2>and I was going to cut it up one day.
<v Speaker 2>I just never got to it. That honeydew sat on
<v Speaker 2>that table for about twelve days, and then there was
<v Speaker 2>a day where we both left and we were gone
<v Speaker 2>at the same time, and when we came back about
<v Speaker 2>two hours later, that honey was gone. And I don't
<v Speaker 2>think a person's gonna you know, we live. We live
<v Speaker 2>a mile and a half deep in the woods off
<v Speaker 2>the main road. It takes about ten to twelve minutes
<v Speaker 2>to get from the main highway out to where we live.
<v Speaker 2>Off grid we're completely isolated, tucked away. And way we
<v Speaker 2>have cell phones and stuff like that is because we
<v Speaker 2>use our vehicles to charge them. We're off gride. We
<v Speaker 2>don't have any electricity. We haul our own spring water
<v Speaker 2>all that stuff. So, yeah, that was kind of funny
<v Speaker 2>because I don't think a person would walk a mile
<v Speaker 2>and a half deep in the woods to go take
<v Speaker 2>a honey deer. That surely they'd take something else valuable
<v Speaker 2>for my home instead of a honeydew. And I don't
<v Speaker 2>think a raccoon in broad daylight or something like that
<v Speaker 2>is even able to pick up on honeydew and walk
<v Speaker 2>away with it. And about four months ago it was
<v Speaker 2>the first time I ever actually got a visual. It's
<v Speaker 2>the first time. We've heard plenty of rock knocks. We've
<v Speaker 2>heard tree knocks, we've heard howls. We've don't let me
<v Speaker 2>forget if I don't mention, I have to tell you
<v Speaker 2>the story about the light. But we've heard all We've
<v Speaker 2>had all these different experiences all out here. This is
<v Speaker 2>all true. We have no reason to fabricate this stuff.
<v Speaker 2>I got my first visual about four months ago. I
<v Speaker 2>guess it was we were clearing out of place on
<v Speaker 2>our driveway, which is quite a ways from the cabin,
<v Speaker 2>and we were away up at towards the beginning of
<v Speaker 2>the driveway and we were clearing out for a flower
<v Speaker 2>bed and it was a light drizzle, gray morning. It
<v Speaker 2>was probably April, and it's like nine thirty in the
<v Speaker 2>morning and we're clearing this out. We knew it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>going to rain too hard, but we wanted to get
<v Speaker 2>it done. So we're out there for like an hour
<v Speaker 2>doing this. And I believe one of the juveniles. And
<v Speaker 2>the reason why I say that is because it was
<v Speaker 2>making no sound, and from based on what I saw visually,
<v Speaker 2>I think this was a younger, younger one and had
<v Speaker 2>walked about twenty feet from my wife, and our dog
<v Speaker 2>at the time was about fifty feet away, and it
<v Speaker 2>walked right by my wife, and my wife thought it
<v Speaker 2>was the dog because she heard it breathing and she said,
<v Speaker 2>Luna like that. And I looked over and Luna was
<v Speaker 2>a good fifty something feet away and she was like,
<v Speaker 2>something's here. And about the time she said that, Luna
<v Speaker 2>comes running over and prancing. She wasn't she wasn't aggressive
<v Speaker 2>at all. She was hopping like a bunny. If you
<v Speaker 2>can picture a dog hopping like that. She was hopping
<v Speaker 2>with her tail up in the air, and she was
<v Speaker 2>not making a sound as if she caught the descent
<v Speaker 2>and she understood what was happening and that it was
<v Speaker 2>like her friend, like my dog was not aggressive. And
<v Speaker 2>this is a dog that literally attacks coyote packs. I'm
<v Speaker 2>just saying, this is a dog that actually attacks coyotes.
<v Speaker 2>This dog happily was greeting what was there. And as
<v Speaker 2>soon as I saw my dog coming over and I
<v Speaker 2>saw the reaction of my wife and what was happening,
<v Speaker 2>I looked over my vision finally caught it. Out of
<v Speaker 2>the green scape of the leaves, I saw this silvery
<v Speaker 2>gray on top of black fur. My eyes picked it
<v Speaker 2>up and I saw it. It was about forty five
<v Speaker 2>to fifty feet awaight right in front of me, through
<v Speaker 2>a slight thicket of young trees, and I saw the
<v Speaker 2>shoulder and the back turn and spin away from me
<v Speaker 2>and was gone in one second. That as far as
<v Speaker 2>a visual, that's the only time I've ever had a visual,
<v Speaker 2>and it just happened to walk right up on us.
<v Speaker 2>I think that they actually trust us. And there's some
<v Speaker 2>other things I would like to share with you in
<v Speaker 2>the future about why I think that. But there's a
<v Speaker 2>whole backstory too that I'm not going to get into
<v Speaker 2>right now. But another the light. Right after we built
<v Speaker 2>this cabin, we had been in this cabin for about
<v Speaker 2>three to four months. It was just the onset of winter,
<v Speaker 2>and I was up at about five am, as I
<v Speaker 2>sometimes i am, and I was making my coffee. We're
<v Speaker 2>off grid, it's dark. I have a lantern. We have
<v Speaker 2>battery powered lights with remote control. I turned with dimmer switches,
<v Speaker 2>so I turned on my dim lighting so my wife
<v Speaker 2>could continue sleeping. I was making my coffee standing here
<v Speaker 2>in the dim light. It's a little bit chilly, and
<v Speaker 2>I had not gotten the place completely sealed up yet.
<v Speaker 2>It actually took me. I did this in a primitive style.
<v Speaker 2>This Kevin is very primitive as far as construction and
<v Speaker 2>the way I sealed it up. It took me about
<v Speaker 2>eight months to completely seal the inner and outer walls
<v Speaker 2>the way I did it, and so I didn't have
<v Speaker 2>it all the way seal it up. So she was
<v Speaker 2>underneath a very very thick blanket that I got in Maine,
<v Speaker 2>a very thick winter blanket, another blanket, and a sheet,
<v Speaker 2>and she's underneath all of those, her whole body, her head, everything,
<v Speaker 2>laying there. She's not completely asleep, because I'm rummaging around,
<v Speaker 2>but she's laying there, nestled in bed and out of nowhere.
<v Speaker 2>As I was kind of spinning away from making my
<v Speaker 2>coffee and turning towards the center of the cabin, a
<v Speaker 2>very very bright, yellowly very whitish, bright white light came
<v Speaker 2>through our south facing window and entered into the cabin
<v Speaker 2>and lit the entire cabin up for one second as
<v Speaker 2>it dispersed itself through the cabin. This light just as
<v Speaker 2>fast as it came through the window, was as fast
<v Speaker 2>as it shone, and then was gone. But it was
<v Speaker 2>so bright that it lit up my entire cabin, and
<v Speaker 2>my wife underneath the thick blanket, the other cover and
<v Speaker 2>the sheet, with her head and her eyes closed under
<v Speaker 2>all of that. I said, what the hell was that?
<v Speaker 2>And she said that was so bright that I saw
<v Speaker 2>it through my eyelids. And there's the latest event that's
<v Speaker 2>happened out here. I feel like we live with a
<v Speaker 2>whole clan out here. Guys. Before I take about the
<v Speaker 2>July fifth, let me tell you about the one that
<v Speaker 2>we got very close to out here on accident again.
<v Speaker 2>But I believe this is an adult. I'm talking like this,
<v Speaker 2>this this, this guy's got to be, you know, nine
<v Speaker 2>ten feet big, like five six hundred pounds. It has
<v Speaker 2>to be humongous. This is when we were living in
<v Speaker 2>a camper before we had the whole homestead built. I
<v Speaker 2>was walking about six in the morning in the summertime,
<v Speaker 2>walking down the hill to come down here, and I
<v Speaker 2>think I was getting ready to do some more prep
<v Speaker 2>work down here. And I was quietly walking about six
<v Speaker 2>in the morning at dawn down the hill and I
<v Speaker 2>came to walk up down this road as I got
<v Speaker 2>to the junction of the two roads to take a
<v Speaker 2>rite I'm in here. As I got to there, it
<v Speaker 2>was probably one hundred and fifty feet away from me.
<v Speaker 2>Whatever was there immediately sprinted away from me, and I'm
<v Speaker 2>talking smashed trees and branches and crushed everything beneath its feet,
<v Speaker 2>crushed everything in its way, shattering. I could hear branches
<v Speaker 2>ripping off, alive trees. Everything was being shattered as this
<v Speaker 2>ran away from me, down into the creek and away,
<v Speaker 2>and it was gone out of my sound within three
<v Speaker 2>to four seconds. I could no longer hear it. It
<v Speaker 2>was that fast, it shattering though everything in its way
<v Speaker 2>out of me, you know, to get away from me.
<v Speaker 2>It just that was the first time that I I
<v Speaker 2>think that I realized that I got very close out here.
<v Speaker 2>But we kind of just kind of of joked about
<v Speaker 2>the idea. And then eventually, once you get joking with
<v Speaker 2>the idea between yourselves, of like, of course it's bigfoot,
<v Speaker 2>it's like, well, is there some crazy mountain person that's
<v Speaker 2>out here doing all these things that we observe? Is
<v Speaker 2>there actually someone that's living through the negative temperatures of
<v Speaker 2>winter and living through the nineties of the summer and
<v Speaker 2>doing of course, it's not like, of course there's not
<v Speaker 2>a wild mountain man out here doing these things out here,
<v Speaker 2>and so but you have to understand, like we had,
<v Speaker 2>it took us a long time to wrap our minds
<v Speaker 2>around what we're experiencing because we knew that we're not crazy,
<v Speaker 2>but that we can't explain these things, and that the
<v Speaker 2>only thing that it points to is what people are
<v Speaker 2>going to call bigfoot or sasquatch. There's once you rule
<v Speaker 2>out a crazy person living in your woods for years
<v Speaker 2>doing these things, the only logical step I think I
<v Speaker 2>can personally make is that this is what it is.
<v Speaker 2>And after having a visual like I said about four
<v Speaker 2>months ago, it only confirmed it to me that we've
<v Speaker 2>actually been experienced experiencing this the whole time. And what
<v Speaker 2>happened to me this recent July fifth of twenty four
<v Speaker 2>my wife was out of town. Excuse me, I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>take a drink here. Second, my wife was out of
<v Speaker 2>town and I was here, and it just so happened
<v Speaker 2>that I was here for the fourth of July weekend
<v Speaker 2>by myself, with my pets, and at a certain point
<v Speaker 2>I could hear people up in the valley, because this
<v Speaker 2>valley that we live up above acts like a big
<v Speaker 2>sounding dish. The sounds just carry. It's like an amplifier
<v Speaker 2>out here. And so I'm hearing these this group of
<v Speaker 2>like five guys, you know, probably a half mile three
<v Speaker 2>quarters of a mile away from me, having a good
<v Speaker 2>time doing their celebrations, still in the fifth and I
<v Speaker 2>was inside the cabin, just relaxing. It's probably ten thirty
<v Speaker 2>at night. And the next thing I hear, and this
<v Speaker 2>is what really made me think that I was actually
<v Speaker 2>actually being talked to and communicated to This is how
<v Speaker 2>personal this was. This is what made me makes me
<v Speaker 2>personally think that it's actually getting personal. Now on the
<v Speaker 2>fifth that night, when these guys are hooting and holler
<v Speaker 2>and doing their thing, I'm alone up here in the dark,
<v Speaker 2>you know, remind of my own business, doing my thing
<v Speaker 2>here in the cabin, and I can hear them off
<v Speaker 2>in the distance, well out of nowhere, down in the
<v Speaker 2>creek in the valley, I can hear a call that
<v Speaker 2>I have certain different wild calls that I do just
<v Speaker 2>to express myself. I'm a very a musician. I sing,
<v Speaker 2>I like to be vocal at times, and I like
<v Speaker 2>to shout in hooray, you know, different ways in the
<v Speaker 2>woods when the moment is happening. And there's different different
<v Speaker 2>ones that I've done throughout my years, you know, like
<v Speaker 2>you got some people do all their different calls in
<v Speaker 2>the wild, and you know one of mine is a
<v Speaker 2>typical like whoohoo. You know one of those. Well, I
<v Speaker 2>hear that first, I think was the woohoo, and I
<v Speaker 2>heard it right down in the valley right below me.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I'm talking, you know, one hundred yards away
<v Speaker 2>or whatever, and I hear whoa, and it's right down there.
<v Speaker 2>Right in front of me, and I'm listening up on
<v Speaker 2>the hill to these guys and they I'll stop and
<v Speaker 2>they think that it's a're just saying that out here
<v Speaker 2>woo hooing at them, so then they start whoo hooing back.
<v Speaker 2>And then the next one it was like one of those,
<v Speaker 2>and it does that, and these people can hear them
<v Speaker 2>cracking up the thing. There's some guy out here having
<v Speaker 2>a fun time with them. I'm up on the mountaintop
<v Speaker 2>listening to all of it. It does a second call
<v Speaker 2>that's like the second one was like, those are both
<v Speaker 2>my calls. Those are things that I do out here,
<v Speaker 2>and then they're all cracking up. I can hear them laughing,
<v Speaker 2>and then they start calling back again. And then it
<v Speaker 2>does the third one, and there's like a third different
<v Speaker 2>type of call, and if I'm not going to do
<v Speaker 2>each one, but it's like there's these different types of
<v Speaker 2>calls that only I have heard myself do ever in
<v Speaker 2>my life, and I do them out here at specific
<v Speaker 2>times if something's very joyous or we're feeling very free
<v Speaker 2>and happy, where I'm letting out that call. And there's
<v Speaker 2>like four different ones, and it did each of the
<v Speaker 2>four calls, and each time those guys were howling back
<v Speaker 2>doing different similar things, haling back, cracking up. But at
<v Speaker 2>the same time, I'm sitting here on my deck at
<v Speaker 2>this point cracking up at everybody because I'm like me
<v Speaker 2>and me and Sasquatch are the only ones I actually
<v Speaker 2>know what's happening right now. And I immediately called a
<v Speaker 2>good friend of mine up in Pittsburgh that I've known
<v Speaker 2>him for thirty four years. Immediately called him because he's
<v Speaker 2>all big in the Bigfoot, and I told him what
<v Speaker 2>just happened, and he was cracking up. He's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I've heard stories about the mimics in the woods and
<v Speaker 2>the mimicking things or other people and stuff. He verified
<v Speaker 2>it with me, But that was the most recent, you know,
<v Speaker 2>out loud thing that had happened was, you know, six
<v Speaker 2>weeks five weeks ago. But this has just been an
<v Speaker 2>unfolding of all these different things that have taken place,
<v Speaker 2>and I honestly feel like that was a a showing
<v Speaker 2>of true understanding between the two of us, because I
<v Speaker 2>don't know why else it would choose to mimic me
<v Speaker 2>like that, and it showed me that it's been paying
<v Speaker 2>attention for years and that they have that much of
<v Speaker 2>a memory recall and that there is like I do believe.
<v Speaker 2>Like like I play piano. I'm a nineteen sixty nine
<v Speaker 2>Kimball piano in my cabin, and when you press the
<v Speaker 2>volume pedal down, the sound rings throughout the cabin out
<v Speaker 2>into the woods. My wife said, you can hear it
<v Speaker 2>up at the camper, which is, you know, two hundred
<v Speaker 2>and fifty three hundred feet away. She said, you can
<v Speaker 2>hear it all the way up there. This place is
<v Speaker 2>like a big echo amplifier dish. And I also have
<v Speaker 2>a keyboard that I take out into the deck and
<v Speaker 2>I play my I charge up a car battery and
<v Speaker 2>then I take it out there with an inverter and
<v Speaker 2>I plug my keyboard into the inverter and I play
<v Speaker 2>out in the deck and we play hand drums out
<v Speaker 2>here for them. And we take bananas and we put
<v Speaker 2>them up in trees and the next day the bananas
<v Speaker 2>are gone. Like we've been reciprocating this thing for so long,
<v Speaker 2>but this was that was the first time, but it
<v Speaker 2>was actually that personalized because it kind of made all
<v Speaker 2>the hair stand up on me, just like nobody else
<v Speaker 2>knows what my calls are except for my wife and
<v Speaker 2>my dogs. Like nobody else can do that unless you've
<v Speaker 2>been monitoring me for five years. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And Dr if you could tell me a little
<v Speaker 1>bit more about this juvenile encounter, can you describe the
<v Speaker 1>features on the creature?
<v Speaker 2>Like I said, it was a two second glimpse. It
<v Speaker 2>was if its head was looking at both of us,
<v Speaker 2>I think, but saw that it understood. He understood. She
<v Speaker 2>understood that I had taken notice immediately after the sounds
<v Speaker 2>had stopped, and my wife heard the breathing about twenty
<v Speaker 2>feet right in front of her through the small thicket
<v Speaker 2>of trees. She heard the breathing, and she thought that
<v Speaker 2>it was our dog at first, and I recognized that
<v Speaker 2>the dog was fifty feet behind. But it all happened
<v Speaker 2>so quickly, and like I said, my dog was not
<v Speaker 2>vicious at all. She was actually very friendly as in
<v Speaker 2>her approach and with her nose in the air and
<v Speaker 2>tail in the air. And then I locked in and
<v Speaker 2>saw the unfamiliar thing in front of me, and that's
<v Speaker 2>when I saw the spinning. All I got to see
<v Speaker 2>was the shoulder in the back. That's all I got
<v Speaker 2>to see. But I can see in my mind's eye,
<v Speaker 2>what the detail. Like I said earlier, it was a
<v Speaker 2>silvery shiny gray type of fur on over top of
<v Speaker 2>black fur. I could tell that the accents were on
<v Speaker 2>top and that it was like very well kept and clean.
<v Speaker 2>It was not This was not a dirty creature. This
<v Speaker 2>was shining like it was almost like the light was
<v Speaker 2>obviously reflecting, and that's what caught my eye to its attention.
<v Speaker 2>And once it understood, I verified and saw that this
<v Speaker 2>was in front of me. It just as fast as
<v Speaker 2>I recognized it spun its shoulder and all I saw
<v Speaker 2>was its shoulder and its back spin and runaway. That's
<v Speaker 2>all I saw because it was in a small grove
<v Speaker 2>of trees. That's how why I was able to come
<v Speaker 2>up without being seen. It was just heard first by
<v Speaker 2>my wife. But that is definitely the closest and closest
<v Speaker 2>encounter that we are aware of, which you know probably
<v Speaker 2>comes within twenty feet of my wife. But that also,
<v Speaker 2>I think attests to a level of trust and understanding,
<v Speaker 2>because I honestly think that they know that we're protecting
<v Speaker 2>them by the fact that we are the people that
<v Speaker 2>we are that are living with our land the way
<v Speaker 2>that we are. We're not tearing every tree down. I
<v Speaker 2>can walk off my deck and touch six trees just
<v Speaker 2>about you know. It's like, you know, like we have
<v Speaker 2>forests all around us. I only took down what I
<v Speaker 2>had to to create what we needed. We are in
<v Speaker 2>the thick of it. And so if you walk, you know,
<v Speaker 2>thirty five feet off my door, you're you're in the thick.
<v Speaker 2>You're in the forest. You know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that is very fascinating, and it makes me wonder
<v Speaker 1>if your dog has interacted with these creatures before and
<v Speaker 1>he was already familiarized with them.
<v Speaker 2>Yep, knows them. That's why. That's why her tail was
<v Speaker 2>in the air, and she was not aggressive at all.
<v Speaker 2>She was hopping like a bunny, as if her friend
<v Speaker 2>was over there. Yeah, my dog is. My dog's very
<v Speaker 2>sweet and very smart, but she is very tough. I
<v Speaker 2>have personally watched her take on two dogs twice her size,
<v Speaker 2>two of them. She put them both in check. That's
<v Speaker 2>the kind of dog I'm talking about. She's super smart,
<v Speaker 2>super sweet. She knows what's going on. Yes, she knows
<v Speaker 2>that they're here.
<v Speaker 1>And why do you think these things interact with people
<v Speaker 1>and specifically you guys.
<v Speaker 2>I honestly think that that depends on the type of
<v Speaker 2>person you are. I think it depends on what your intent,
<v Speaker 2>what your background, what's your humility, what your conscious level is,
<v Speaker 2>what your connection to the spirit and God realm is.
<v Speaker 2>I think it has to do with all of these
<v Speaker 2>thing as to whether what type of encounter you're actually
<v Speaker 2>going to have. And again those therefore, like I said,
<v Speaker 2>chronologically from ninety nine to twenty sixteen to the recent
<v Speaker 2>I've developed, just as any growing creature should. I've developed.
<v Speaker 2>So therefore my experiences have leveled up as well. And
<v Speaker 2>so I think that there's a very much of an
<v Speaker 2>understanding between my family and their family that we actually,
<v Speaker 2>by us showing up here, actually did them a service
<v Speaker 2>because we're not tearing to place apart. The last time
<v Speaker 2>this place was logged was in nineteen thirty. We still
<v Speaker 2>have a tree down by our creek that's about five
<v Speaker 2>hundred years old. It's massive. We've got several big ones,
<v Speaker 2>but this one's about five hundred years old that they
<v Speaker 2>left keep the creek intact there. But this forest has
<v Speaker 2>been here for a very long time. And I would
<v Speaker 2>like to tell you something real quick, just because if
<v Speaker 2>anybody else out there has never heard about this. I've
<v Speaker 2>never heard about it until I encountered and witnessed this
<v Speaker 2>about four years ago, a purple gray smoke that took
<v Speaker 2>over the entirety of the valley system. And when you
<v Speaker 2>go up on our top hill, you can see about
<v Speaker 2>four miles to the north, or excuse me, four miles
<v Speaker 2>to the south, and you can look all the way
<v Speaker 2>out there. And a friend of mine and I in February,
<v Speaker 2>about four years ago, we were sitting up on that
<v Speaker 2>peak and we watched a gray fog smoke mist excuse me,
<v Speaker 2>not gray, purple, purple purple, come through the entirety of
<v Speaker 2>the valley. It took about an hour for it to
<v Speaker 2>get to us, and it took over the entirety of
<v Speaker 2>the mountain, the entirety of the valley. And I researched it,
<v Speaker 2>and I talked with as many people as I could,
<v Speaker 2>and only one person helped me make sense of it.
<v Speaker 2>If anybody out there has ever seen or witnessed or
<v Speaker 2>heard about this about the I have Cherokee. I've got
<v Speaker 2>three tribes native in me. I've got Cherokee, Shawnee, and
<v Speaker 2>Sue in me. And the Cherokee, apparently the ancestral tradition
<v Speaker 2>of what I've understood that was told to me by
<v Speaker 2>someone that had knowledge about this was that it was
<v Speaker 2>the blessing of your previous ancestral spiritry spiritual world coming
<v Speaker 2>to you and blessing the land. That's what it was
<v Speaker 2>explained to me. As I just telling you that I
<v Speaker 2>witnessed it for over an hour, a very thick purple haze,
<v Speaker 2>if you will, that permeated and took over the entire
<v Speaker 2>valley system. You could actually walk through it and walk
<v Speaker 2>right up to it. It was right there. And I
<v Speaker 2>think that there's something very specifically powerful about this place,
<v Speaker 2>and I'll tell I'll disclose more things about this with
<v Speaker 2>you if we ever talk more outside of this conversation
<v Speaker 2>and especially in person. The invite is to you. As
<v Speaker 2>I mentioned before the interview, this place is special. There's
<v Speaker 2>something about it. And I do think that these creatures
<v Speaker 2>actually are happy that it is my wife and I
<v Speaker 2>that came here and did what we've done here, because
<v Speaker 2>I feel like we have a symbiotic relationship where we
<v Speaker 2>protect each other, and that this is the biggest outreach
<v Speaker 2>of communication that I've ever had. Was when it did
<v Speaker 2>four different types of mimicking my wild calls on the
<v Speaker 2>mountain side. That is the most direct thing that's ever
<v Speaker 2>happened here for me personally.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's amazing, and I appreciate you for sharing your
<v Speaker 1>experiences and your encounters with me, and it gives me
<v Speaker 1>a better idea of what's going on around the property.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot going on, my friend, And like I said,
<v Speaker 2>I can only keep it this close because we're not
<v Speaker 2>trying to take up ten hours of somebody's day or night.
