Since the beginning of the podcast, the gang has been dreading the infamous, Disney Channel banned, Prom night episode. And here we are. Or are we?
Danielle, Rider & Will rewatch the ACTUAL episode and find themselves with a fresh new perspective, in love with a certain interaction between Cory and a scene-stealing guest star. And Rider shares some of the behind the scenes drama about *how* to handle the complex issue of ‘90s sex and reveals his attempts to change the script.
Plus, they analyze how Cory, a self confessed invisible dork, somehow won Prom King, on a brand new, formally dressed, Pod Meets World.

00:00:19 Speaker 1: So I know we've talked about this before. It's kind of where Susan and I go on a walk and we throw these different questions out to each other, and so we've done a couple on the show and we had an interesting one. But I haven't asked you guys this, and it's kind of interesting and it's my wheelhouse of love, which is history, okay, because I just love history. So the question I think I asked her. She might have asked me. I don't know, but I'm going to take the credit that I asked was if you could go to one historical event, but strictly as an observer, you can't change anything, but you get to sit and kind of see one thing in history. What would you pick? Man? 00:01:00 Speaker 2: I love this question because I'm time travel obsessed, like I love so time travel novels. 00:01:06 Speaker 1: Oh my god. Okay, but I actually have never thought about this. I'd wanted to be something that's like. 00:01:13 Speaker 2: Cool to like visually beautiful or Okay, you know, you don't want to go see a war, right or something like a significant but awful, so you want to see something. 00:01:22 Speaker 3: Positive so or just yeah, what would be cool to see? 00:01:26 Speaker 1: Or a mystery that's The other thing is you could use it like a mystery, could know the truth, right, Like do you want to do you want to go watch where you know what happened to Amelia Earhart? Like is there if you could just be an observer of one moment in history? 00:01:38 Speaker 3: Do you have to be like are. 00:01:39 Speaker 2: You going there as like a consciousness or are you going there as a physical body? 00:01:43 Speaker 3: Like you go to Amelia? Am I like playing with her? 00:01:48 Speaker 1: No? I think you can. I think you kind of go as a consciousness. It's it's as if you're watching it on TV. So you're like a disembodied camera get to be replaced in exactly, and you can move around. You can see all angles, but you can't affect day for you. Okay, great, yes, so you can see you can you know, see that one moment in history? 00:02:07 Speaker 3: Yeah, well then it wouldn't be that bad to see something. Yeah, let's see what would. 00:02:10 Speaker 1: Have got right? Tough question. This is why the see and I were just walking there going oh. I mean because there's little things. There's things that have stuck in my head, like stupid horrible things like Jean Benet like stuff like the Little Mysteries or something, or or the Jack the Ripper, like do you want to go? And oh that's who it is, right, So that's the question is what how how do you use your time? Do you go into the Last Supper? Like what do you do? 00:02:36 Speaker 3: And you can translate so you don't have to like speak correct. 00:02:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's all it's all babbled for you. 00:02:42 Speaker 4: Gosh, we'll just rattled off some really don't ones. I know, have you watch someone get murdered? I think there for the whole event with me. 00:02:58 Speaker 1: Though, that's just just the like the mystery of womenstated why they do it? You know. 00:03:04 Speaker 2: I think I would want to go ancient history, like I would want to go far too, so it'd be like Rome, Greece, and maybe it'd be like the Trial of Socrates. 00:03:12 Speaker 1: You know, like that would be a great good one. 00:03:14 Speaker 2: Yeah, something that is like yeah, it would just be cool to see an action or like yeah, I would you know, I would just love to see something that is so abstract in my mind, like how how those courtrooms looked? And yeah, and feel it for real, like what were human beings? Because it would just it's so it's such a cartoon in my mind. And I feel like whenever movies have been made about those kinds of things. They're always costume dramas and like maybe it really did look like that, but I would want to see, like what are those builds? So yeah, I would go to ancient Greece and watch something like that, A good one. 00:03:45 Speaker 4: My first thought was like something with dinosaurs, like just something, but like the idea of like, well, how did the dinosaurs get extinct? I wouldn't want to watch that. I'd be it'd be so sad. I'd be like, I don't want to watch anyone really, like I know, I don't that. So I don't know. I mean, I do love the idea of a mystery, like maybe i'd be there, did Kim Kardashian really get but implants No, I'm just kidding. That is yes, it's a question people people wonder or is it real? Is it not real? So maybe i'd be there, but no, I'm kidding. I do love the idea of a mystery, though, So I don't know. Maybe just just I just want to go back like twelve years. 00:04:29 Speaker 1: Exactly, Marty, You've got to do something about Kim's butt. Yeah, no, way different, back to. 00:04:35 Speaker 4: The future, maybe like the building of the Pyramids. 00:04:40 Speaker 1: He liked stuff. But that's a great one, you know. 00:04:43 Speaker 4: Yeah, building of the Pyramids. 00:04:44 Speaker 2: Pretty awful labor or one alien race depends on what you're reading about. 00:04:53 Speaker 4: So yeah, you know, I don't know. I'm still curious what happened to Jensen's keys that would you know what happened to those? 00:05:00 Speaker 3: Oh my god, I would I would go to the first of Shakespeare play. 00:05:04 Speaker 2: I would go see probably Macbeth, the first Macbeth. That would be amazing. I want to see Shakespeare himself on stage and something. 00:05:12 Speaker 1: Yes and face I have to go to a play. Hate Shakespeare? 00:05:17 Speaker 3: Is that anti Shakespeare? 00:05:19 Speaker 4: Yeah? What boring? Oh my god? No thing? 00:05:25 Speaker 3: Wow? 00:05:26 Speaker 4: Do you think would you be able to look stuck on writers? 00:05:29 Speaker 1: Writers? 00:05:29 Speaker 3: Time travel travel ship? 00:05:32 Speaker 1: But I mean would you be able to see Sir Francis Bacon there watching the first play that he wrote? Because that'd be awesome. 00:05:41 Speaker 2: I will solve a mystery and get entertained. So there you go, ick and watch Shakespeare. 00:05:46 Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think I would do Macbeth or maybe him, I don't know whatever, but I pick up, well, what's yours mine changes with whatever part of history I'm currently reading. 00:05:55 Speaker 4: And what pair of underwear would you wear. 00:05:57 Speaker 1: That's well, I'd be wearing my time travel underwear of Crier's favorite subject. No, I think, because right now I'm I'm all. I've been reading a ton of Alison Weir, which she just does all of like, you know, Richard the Third's life and uh, Henry the a slide, the wives of Henry the a that kind of stuff. The wars I'm reading about the Wars of the Roses right now. So one of the big historical mysteries is who killed the princes in the Tower. People think it's Richard the Third, But so that kind of time right now, I think I'd want to go back to like the court of Edward the fourth, like that kind of craziness. You know, the Wars of the Roses are happening, Henry the sixth has been deposed, his wife is trying to raise an army in France. It's like super interesting things that happened. Daniel sleep again. It can't all stuff. 00:06:46 Speaker 4: Please do not turn that into a social clip and we cannot have Vardashian but stuff go viral than you guys. 00:06:57 Speaker 1: So yeah, that's probably what That's probably what I would do that, or I'd be on the boat with the Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson as a film in the movie one of these, one of those two would be a toss up. 00:07:07 Speaker 2: I just realized it would be cool to do music like some historic because you know, go to what's Mozart would stock it would be something that was to experienced live, would have. 00:07:18 Speaker 4: Been So do something with less slave labor. 00:07:21 Speaker 1: I want. 00:07:22 Speaker 4: That's a good one. Yeah. 00:07:24 Speaker 1: Or it's like you just go to a tiny little bar in Hamburg for the first time the Beatles ever played together, like something I'm not even a huge Beatles fan, but just the historic kind of. 00:07:34 Speaker 4: Important maybe something like Morrison. 00:07:37 Speaker 1: Yeah stuff, But you're right, like something that's. 00:07:40 Speaker 2: Not recorded that you could never you know, yeah, yeah, oh god, yeah, the first recording of astral Weeks, like being there for that. 00:07:46 Speaker 3: Although I heard it was a disaster, it's oh. 00:07:48 Speaker 1: I know, have you heard the whole new thing that they're now saying that Mozart that some of his earliest stuff, like he start writing at five or six, might have actually been his sister. And she's it seems like maybe she's gonna start getting some some credit now for actually how how much a virtue of virtuoso she was back in the day. But she was a girl, so nobody cares right, right, but she might have had some of his that's a movie, yeah, exactly. 00:08:11 Speaker 4: Get those rights. Welcome to pod Meets World. 00:08:14 Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Fishl, I'm right or Strong, and I'm Wilfredell. 00:08:29 Speaker 4: So welcome to today's episode recap. Season five, episode twenty two Promises Promises. It is our second Disney Channel Band episode. It originally aired May one, nineteen ninety eight. The synopsis on prom night, Corey and Sean decide they are ready to become men, and while Angela is not ready to, Panga agrees to getting a hotel room. It was directed by Alan Myerson. It was written by Ellen Idelson and Rob Loterstein, who we have mentioned before on the podcast. Before I jump into our guest stars, overall thoughts on the episode, writer, would you like to go first? 00:09:09 Speaker 1: Sure? I was. 00:09:11 Speaker 2: I was kind of dreading this episode because in my mind it was like, I don't know why I get I guess maybe because it was banned, or maybe I just thought it was not going to be a good episode, and it wasn't that bad. 00:09:21 Speaker 1: I know, it was actually loved this episode. 00:09:24 Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, I just think it's you know, it's all it's weird to be talking about virginity and characters and I mean all that stuff, but actually it's a farce. It's a classic farce. I am horrible in this episode. I don't know what was going on, but I hated my performance. It was over the top and awkward. It's luckily a very small part, but I was like, every time I was on screen, I was like, what am I doing. I feel like I was just off or in a weird mood. But otherwise, yeah, it was totally like I thought. It was a perfectly fine, fun funny episode. I think it could have been a little more farcical, like a little more room, because I kind of got there right at the end and I was like, oh my god, they're going to walk into each other's rooms and I could see it all coming. 00:10:05 Speaker 1: But I don't know, it was it was fun. No, I love it. 00:10:08 Speaker 4: I was. I did too. I really liked it. And I also had a similar idea kind of maybe maybe I've gotten it mixed up in my mind with my feelings on the Honeymoon episode. 00:10:16 Speaker 1: That's mine too. That's exactly what we did because I. 00:10:19 Speaker 4: Had the same feeling because I was like, because that again was. 00:10:22 Speaker 2: About them losing their virginity, right, so that's why we confused the two in our minds. 00:10:26 Speaker 4: And Eric is there at our honeymoon, and there's like a bunch of farce stuff pertaining to our honeymoon as well, if I remember correctly. Yeah, so I think my feelings for that episode somehow got transposed into thinking it was about this episode, and then I kept waiting for like, Oh, where's the part I'm going to really hate, where's the where's the part of this I hate? But it was actually I really liked it. Will tell your thoughts. 00:10:45 Speaker 1: No, I loved it. I think I was also confusing it with It's kind of become a melting of two stories where I think it's the honeymoon, but I also think it's the wedding episode because I remember also being in a TuS and coming to a hotel room with Corey and Topanga, so I thought maybe it was going to be that. It's still the idea that Eric and Jack are are chaperones at the promise ridiculous and stupid, but who cares. Ben was hysterical in this, like laugh out loud funny in this episode. I thought Rusty was great in this episode. I disagree with you entirely, writer. I thought performance wise, I thought we were all good in this episode. Frankly, seeing Randy Topanga is kind of an interesting way to see what's going on. But I really I it was a fun we like to say it. It was a romp, and if you're going to tackle something like virginity, coming at it from almost like a Faulty Towers Benny Hill esque kind of way is kind of an interesting way to tackle teen virginity. So I liked it, Okay. 00:11:51 Speaker 2: I had this memory that there was like lots of drama, Like I thought there was drama in the episode, like there was lots of But I think what was happening is that there was drama behind the scenes. I think that there was a lot of debate about whether it was okay. 00:12:05 Speaker 1: For us to do this episode. 00:12:07 Speaker 2: And I think that's what I've internalized, because in my mind, it was like it was a very serious episode about the importance of virginity, and what I'm remembering, I think is actually a huge debate between the network and Michael and the writers and everybody about whether how to end this episode, whether to have them lose their virginity or not, and to like can you make jokes about this? Like that's what I remember. And I'm realizing like, oh, none of that really placed into the episode itself. 00:12:34 Speaker 1: Like the episode itself is totally. 00:12:35 Speaker 2: Fine and did not bother me, and I think, you know, but it was interesting, Like I made sure Indy went to bed before I watched it. Yeah, so I was like, because I was like, I don't want to have the whole like what are they talking about? What are they you know, not that I haven't already talked to like Indy knows somewhere, but I was just like listen, and I realized like, yeah, that's why they banned it for this de channel is because if you're not in the room to be able to explain what Corey and to Bang are doing or talking about, it's you also. 00:13:00 Speaker 4: Don't want that conversation to be thrust on you without you having prepared for it. You know, if you aren't sitting your child down to have that discussion or many discussions. 00:13:11 Speaker 2: Asked us to watch Deadpool and you put an on for him when he's seven, and you're suddenly when he's asking what. 00:13:16 Speaker 1: Is he doing? 00:13:16 Speaker 3: To her. Oh, no, that's what happened. That was my experience anyway. 00:13:21 Speaker 4: Yes, that's an uncomfortable because now you have to say, oh, here's my moment, here's my moment, and it's going to be the we talk. He will remember this for the rest of his life, and I need to know exactly what our family's thoughts are on all the things I'm going to share right now. So yeah, I can imagine that that could have been difficult, and I think you're right. I do think that one of the reasons it feels a little out of character for Tapanga to be so horned up and DTF. But I think the main reason for it is that if there's any sort of feeling at all, yep, that she is not one hundred percent not only on board but driving the ship. Yeah, it's going to feel creepy and awful, and I can see how a network would be like, we don't, we can't, we can't do that. 00:14:11 Speaker 1: I also think there's something too. It's you know, the idea. Yes, it's called boy meets World, but girls go through this same thing that boys do. Girls are going through the hormone changes and are are dealing with all the same kind of stuff. So the two of them struggling with it together is way more interesting than totally. Jipanga's like, nope, I'm not interested, and it's just the boy who's all you know? It was so yeah, I thought I really like the way they tackled it. 00:14:36 Speaker 4: Frankly I did too, all right. Well, jumping into our guest stars, we have John Balma. He's the hotel clerk. Hilariously, he would appear in a later Boy Meets World episode as a hotel employee, but you may know him from shows like Alias, Friends, Parks and Recreation where he was Barney or Superstore. 00:14:53 Speaker 1: I remember him just being very, very nice, and he's super funny too. 00:14:57 Speaker 4: He's so funny in the episode. 00:14:59 Speaker 1: He's great, He's great. 00:15:00 Speaker 4: I love that scene with Ben in where he get oh my guys, is the first time how tired? 00:15:07 Speaker 1: So great? 00:15:08 Speaker 4: So good? 00:15:09 Speaker 3: Just use my real name? 00:15:10 Speaker 1: Don Oh did I throw you at that question, mister key. 00:15:18 Speaker 4: Then we have Cindy Coin as made She basically has just two credits Boy Meets World and Tricksie on Law and Order four years later. And then we have Jarrett Lennon as Howie. He appeared in the classic Robert Altman movie Shortcuts in nineteen ninety three, as well as She's All That, and on basically every TV show you can think of, from Freaks and Geeks to Growing Pains to three episodes of Cheers to Hey Arnold and The Wonder Years where he was a young Paul Pfeifer. 00:15:45 Speaker 1: Wow. 00:15:46 Speaker 4: And then we have Aaron Nelms as Bobby. He was in the movie ed Wood and TV shows like Moesha, Sabrina and Time, Coop and Kim Sarafin as Pretty Woman. She appeared on our show, Spin City and Single Guy, but eventually transitioned into an entertainment reporter, working on CNN, MSNBC, TV Guide Network, and on red carpet shows for the Oscars, Grammys and Golden Globes. 00:16:09 Speaker 1: Wow. 00:16:10 Speaker 4: She also wrote a book for teens called Everything You Need to Know About Being a Vegetarian. 00:16:17 Speaker 1: Okay, grab a burger and read it. 00:16:25 Speaker 4: Writer, do you remember there being any sort of preamble to doing this episode, like being talked like this episode of an episode about sex coming up and there being a discussion ahead of time. 00:16:39 Speaker 2: I don't remember ahead of time, but I do remember a lot of discussion. I mean, I got I involved myself in the discussion during that. 00:16:45 Speaker 1: I remember tell us about it, remember this at all? Yeah, I don't. 00:16:47 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was it was It was just that we were never referencing safe sex, that we never talk about condom use or any and yet there's all this conversation about like getting the room. 00:17:00 Speaker 3: And did it, you know, and I, you know. 00:17:03 Speaker 2: Felt it was really irresponsible in the era of AIDS especially, like it was just it was something that we were all talking about in real life, like that's anytime I had a conversation with people, you know, other teenagers, the responsible thing to do was to talk about how, you know, how you were taking precautions or decisions that were being made regarding the safety of sex. And it just I went to Michael and I was like, I really think that they should at least just talk about We could just make a joke about it, and he said no. And then the reason it really frustrated me was then like the next season, or maybe even later this season, there's a joke about sharing razors where Corey and Tapanga are sharing a razor or something with their legs and face I don't know, and uh, Michael during the note session was like, are we being irresponsible because I just read a study that hepatitis can be transferred between razors. Are we being irresponsible by making this? And I was like, Oh, that's where we're going to be irresponded or like, worry about a responsibility if you're talking about on a kid's show, talking about people planning to have sex or not. I feel like having at least a some semblance of you know, in the age of era, I mean the era of AIDS. 00:18:11 Speaker 3: It's like, it just really drove me. 00:18:12 Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a whole conversation between Corey and Sean before the parents come down. Were you very easily could have been like do you have protection? 00:18:19 Speaker 3: Like anything taken? 00:18:21 Speaker 1: Is like, oh yes, I remember we picked well, remember we pitched it where the alt the vine should have just been do you have Sean says do you have protection? Of course says yeah, I always carry mace. And it's like no, no, no, no, no, no, oh oh yeah yeah no no yeah, And that's all you need. Then you never need to touch it again. You know, you're done. You made a joke. It's funny. You never need to touch it again. Yep, that's what she said. 00:18:42 Speaker 4: And then we're in coming into her recap. 00:18:46 Speaker 3: Touch it, never talk about it again. 00:18:50 Speaker 4: Then we're in the Matthew's kitchen. Cory and Sean, both in dashing tuxedos, walk down the stairs. Corey announces that tonight is the biggest night of their lives. Sean grinn ear to ear the night we leave as boys and come back men. Cory wonders, are we talking about the same thing. Sean says he certainly hope. So Corey breaks down the plan. So after the prom romance in the air, you and Angela, you're gonna look into each other's eyes. Shaan interrupts him. Me and Angela, I don't know, maybe, what do you think? What do you think? We sat down and discussed it. How dorky do you think we are? Sean asks, what about you and too Panga. Cory sheepishly admits, we sat down and disgusting if we weighed the pros and cons. We made a chart. Actually we haven't, because she feels that I but you know, so maybe and I love that whole run. I love the most that the chart. It's also the thing I love about it is that it's so very clear that in the chart Cory's wants somehow matter a little less because the person who was saying, yes, we should do it should always matter less than the person who's saying I'm not ready. That comes across in the way he's talking about we haven't yet because she but but I maybe it's just it's it's so well done. I love it. 00:20:11 Speaker 1: I have a logistic question because, as you know, I did not go to my prom. I went to junior prom, but I didn't go to senior problem. But aren't you like they they you get with your date in front of all the parents and do like a photo shoot. 00:20:27 Speaker 4: Normally don't normally happen? Yes, okay, people are separate and then they meet at the prom. 00:20:32 Speaker 2: That's why I was at a hotel like ours was okay, But yeah, I didn't. 00:20:41 Speaker 1: I didn't know if that was hotel. 00:20:42 Speaker 4: Yes we did. 00:20:43 Speaker 1: I didn't know, you know, but maybe but you would have but maybe, but no, okay, So that's what I thought. I was watching, and I was with Sue when she said no. 00:20:55 Speaker 4: Get together and there like, and I guess Corey does go to Penga's house, right, that is that where they are they're. 00:21:01 Speaker 1: In or its Angela's. I mean, I guess you don't know could. 00:21:08 Speaker 4: No parents are there. Nobody cares on that end of it. 00:21:12 Speaker 1: No, which is odd. 00:21:12 Speaker 2: No, it has to be to Panga's because how he shows up thinking yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, okay. 00:21:18 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:21:18 Speaker 4: So It'sa's aunt's house, and you would think that Corey's parents would have gone there, and then the parents take pictures of the couples, or at least to Panga's aunt would be taking a picture. 00:21:28 Speaker 1: So yeah, but you know you can bring in the extra actors. 00:21:32 Speaker 4: Am I changed my mind? Will was right, it's not it's not August. He really convinced me. It's not. We don't say July, August, September, it's it's August. 00:21:43 Speaker 1: There's no consistency in the English language. There's just whatever the tradition. 00:21:47 Speaker 3: But if it can go either way, it can go either way. 00:21:49 Speaker 1: It's east coast, west coast, but you're west coast. 00:21:52 Speaker 4: So I know I've changed. I'm adopting it. 00:21:56 Speaker 2: Unfortunately, in the two aunts, one wants to be aunt and the other wants to be aunt, so Indy's got to constantly adjust in his brain. 00:22:03 Speaker 4: We don't get to choose that. You don't get to choose that as an aunt. No, No, you can choose what they call you, Like, I want to be called, you know, Auntie D instead of Danielle or something. You can say that, But to say that you have to change the term too. That's asking too much. I think that's unfair to put on kids. 00:22:24 Speaker 3: Pronouns are just too complicated. 00:22:26 Speaker 4: Those are the pronouns. But the name is fine. It's the it's the aunt aunt version of it. It's it's clear of the same thing. It's the same relationship. Don't now care how I pronounce it. 00:22:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, don't put it on the kids. That's not fair to deal. 00:22:43 Speaker 4: What's the annoying thing? 00:22:44 Speaker 3: Is that for me? 00:22:45 Speaker 4: I call all my aunts and uncles aunts. I'm not changing that, so it's still anti j. I don't call her auntie J. But anytime I have to say I am. 00:22:54 Speaker 3: Yes, I say whatever they want to be called, and he's going to call him. 00:22:57 Speaker 4: Or yes, start calling him by their first name. Yeah, just drop it. 00:23:03 Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. 00:23:04 Speaker 4: You're Susan. 00:23:05 Speaker 1: Yeah you're Susan. No, everyone Susan. Every woman I meet is Susan. Every man is Jim. That's just the way it is. 00:23:15 Speaker 4: Okay, Sean's impressed. Maybe Corey reminds him it is a maybe, assuming everything goes exactly perfectly right, Sean makes sure, naturally, you're gonna do everything in your power. Corey jumps in to make sure everything goes exactly perfectly right. Sean and Corey give each other an enthusiastic high five, shouting together. Maybe Alan and Amy arrive at that exact moment, and Amy wants to know maybe what Corey tells her it's just guy stuff. So Alan jumps in, oh, guy stuff on prom night. His tone turned serious, sit down, and Alan could have also, by the way, this. 00:23:50 Speaker 2: Is the moment perfect topics. Have a plan, you have protection, yes, okay, good. 00:23:54 Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, especially because they know they're spending the night at a hotel. 00:23:58 Speaker 3: Also, the scene ends up being about pregnancy, so notion of planning for considering the fact that sex leads to childbirth potentially, like let's. 00:24:07 Speaker 1: Just you know, like that's what they're trying to allude to. But at the same time, they're completely and totally ignoring something that was hugely going on in the world at the time, which was disease. So it was just about pregnancy. It wasn't at all about you could get something. It was you could do something that could forever all to your life, and by that they specifically. 00:24:26 Speaker 4: Meant and in this case, it seems as though Coriant Topanga were the poster children for abstinence. Yeah, that the only safe sex for pregnancy is abstinence. 00:24:39 Speaker 1: I was big into abstinence. I didn't want to be, but everyone else apparently wanted me to be abstinate, so I was for a very long time. 00:24:48 Speaker 4: So helpful. 00:24:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a choice that was taken away from me, but worked out in the long haul. 00:24:54 Speaker 4: So Alan explains, your senior problem can be a night to remember without it being a big night. I want you to remember that things can happen in a minute that could change your life forever. He asks, Cory, do you understand me? Corey nods yes, Dad. Alan turns to Sean with the same question. Sean nods yes Dad. A satisfied Alan tells the boys have a great time, but before they leave, Amy wants a picture of the boys on prom night, They pose for an insanely bright flash that quite possibly could have blinded them both. They grab their corsages and they head out. When the boys are gone, Alan asks Amy how he did. Amy gives him a big hug. You were great. I am so proud of you. Alan thanks her. Then Amy throws in a footnote, I'm pregnant. Alan let's out a howling laugh, and Amy abruptly snaps a picture of him. Amy nonchalantly adds, I'm not kidding. 00:25:54 Speaker 1: Did you remember that was this episode? I had no idea that said it. I was like, oh God, this is the pregnancy. I had no idea, No. 00:26:01 Speaker 4: Idn't even remember we did a pregnancy episode. I did. That's how little I remembered this part of the storyline. 00:26:06 Speaker 2: I just remembered that the baby was born. I remember you had a kid, but I didn't think it happened. I thought it was season seven. 00:26:16 Speaker 3: Later. 00:26:17 Speaker 2: But the fact that we already but I do think that, I guess there had to have been a conversation because I remember knowing that this was a way to keep the parents involved in the show that Rusty and Betsy had started started to feel like their characters were drifting away. And I remember Michael saying, like, we're going to have a pregnancy to you know, a new kid come into this situation. 00:26:40 Speaker 4: In order to save this show. We want to save a marriage, a. 00:26:45 Speaker 3: Baby, baby. 00:26:47 Speaker 1: Okay, Dear listeners, get ready to start screaming at your. 00:26:50 Speaker 4: I'm going to I'm going to ask the exact same question. 00:26:52 Speaker 1: Did they get married in season six Corey Intopanga or were they engaged all season six and they got married season seven. 00:27:02 Speaker 4: And then we have one whole season of marriage and then when was the kid born? That's what I was gonna ask. Do we have episodes with a baby? Are there episode? 00:27:11 Speaker 2: Because there's like I just know that at the end, the is like it's like fourteens. 00:27:16 Speaker 1: Yeah, changed up. 00:27:17 Speaker 3: So much because Michael put his own kid in there, but I don't. 00:27:21 Speaker 1: But also we referenced the baby because I distinctly remember there was a time where because Betsy asked for it to be put in where Eric lights the house on fire and she runs upstairs yelling, save the baby, Save the baby. Okay, So I don't know if we didn't actually use a kid like. 00:27:39 Speaker 3: Scenes we had, right, there's that one. There's a fake baby, I think. 00:27:42 Speaker 1: And then maybe that was the doll that I was putting my cigarettes in his mouth. 00:27:46 Speaker 4: I remember that. Yeah, don't you remember that they put a cigarette in the baby's mouth? 00:27:52 Speaker 1: Is very funny. Yeah, that's when that's when Justin Timberlake and Lance were on the set and they're like, you're you're actually crazy? It was yeah, Amy, Yes, I sure, am, it's funny. Yeah. 00:28:04 Speaker 4: I don't remember, I mean know, I was like, oh, there's already a baby, So when does she have the baby? Do we do episodes with a baby. Don't remember any of it. 00:28:09 Speaker 1: I don't think we actually ever had a live, actual baby on the set. 00:28:14 Speaker 4: I don't believe we'll find out. 00:28:16 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:28:16 Speaker 4: So Alan's laughter intensifies, but she repeats, I'm not kidding. She takes another picture before handing Allan a positive pregnancy test. She takes another picture of him looking at it. Alan is confused. These things aren't always right, you know the first and then on cue, Amy hands him a second positive test, snapping another pick. Alan looks horrified. All he can muster out is eh. Amy holds him as she asks, aren't you happy? Alan holds the two tests, unable to fully comprehend, well, I don't understand the question. Amy's hurt. He's not happy at all. The inmates let out a groan. They feel bad. 00:28:53 Speaker 1: They just found out that he has COVID. So, I mean two tests positive? 00:29:01 Speaker 3: You have COVID? 00:29:03 Speaker 2: Now, Michael had a fourth kid right around this time, right, isn't that This is. 00:29:09 Speaker 4: Because it was about his pregnancy. 00:29:11 Speaker 1: Yes, and when and when the kid went into the that was all that was, or I thought. 00:29:17 Speaker 2: I thought that was before it was Yeah, yeah, no it was it was Josh because they ended up naming the baby. 00:29:23 Speaker 4: After write the story. You're right, yeah, itsh. 00:29:26 Speaker 1: But I thought Josh was. I don't know, I can't. 00:29:28 Speaker 2: I just remember he was having a baby after already having three kids at this point. 00:29:34 Speaker 1: That's probably the inspiration for this, Yeah, I'm sure. Yeah. 00:29:37 Speaker 4: She storms away and Alan tries to speak honey. Eventually he rushes after her. It's not exactly a fair scenario to expect your significant other to be happy about a pregnancy that's on. 00:29:48 Speaker 1: Your fourth unplanned, Like an unplanned pregnancy that's fourth. Your kids are older. 00:29:53 Speaker 4: Your youngest, who's by the way, completely never mentioned in this episode. Who was watching her? 00:29:58 Speaker 1: She's a friends is at the prom. 00:30:01 Speaker 4: Yeah, all all the other characters are at the prom. They tell all the kid their kids except for Morgan, about the pregnancy, and we have no idea where she is. Who is watching Morgan? 00:30:12 Speaker 1: I don't know. I also didn't like I would like to have seen and I know how they have to do it, but I would like to have seen one more scene of Allen and Amy before he's just thrilled, before he's just thrilled. Yeah, one more would have been nice because it just went from that to we're having a baby again and then now I'm so I'm super happy with it, and it's like, okay, we could have had one more between. 00:30:31 Speaker 4: Totally a thing where he actually does work out. Am I excited? 00:30:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, and her kind of going, I'm I sprung that on you. I get it, I get it. It's it was a shock for me too. But and then it's him going, well, of course, I'm excited. I just, you know, was eating my cereal when you told me, like, give me a break. 00:30:49 Speaker 4: And then at COVID and then we get a rare look into Tapega's aunt's house. Topega and Angela are looking in the mirror doing their finishing touches for prom. When Topega asks, so you and Sean talked about you two after the prom the big night, Angela admits, we haven't really talked about it. People think he's really cool, but he is so shy. I've decided we're not ready until he's ready to at least talk about it. What a smart and mature way of thinking about it. If we can't have an open sex, we shouldn't be having it. 00:31:23 Speaker 3: That's a great way to think about it. 00:31:24 Speaker 1: If you still call it ha, then we're not ready. I'm gonna do the wah. Yeah, we're not. 00:31:31 Speaker 4: Ready to pegas Miles. 00:31:33 Speaker 1: That would Saisney? 00:31:38 Speaker 3: Can we Who. 00:31:41 Speaker 4: Do you wanna to pegus? Miles? I've been thinking about it too, now that Corey and I know how much we love each other, We've decided that when the time is exactly perfectly right, Angela knows her friend so in other words, when you say so to Peka nods an agreement. Then the doorbell rings, Angela opens the door, and Sean is speechless. He eventually stutters out, you look wow, Angela beams you look pretty wow yourself. He kisses her cheek and hands her the corsage. Angela interlocks her arm with his and asks shall we Sean looks to Corey, who gives him a nod go ahead, we'll catch up. And it was in this moment when Sean is talking about how wow Angela looks, that I realized they're not doing normally. They'd absolutely be an establishing shot to see our addresses and it'd be head to toe, and they can't because she's too pregnant. 00:32:28 Speaker 1: So that's the funny thing. I just right right when Sean opened the door, that's the first line I said. He's like, wow, you look so nine months pregnant. 00:32:41 Speaker 4: Sean looks to Corey, who gives him a nod. Go ahead, we'll catch up. Sean grins, all right, we'll be waiting in the limo. They walk away, leaving Corey and to Panga alone now in the house, Corey admires Topanga, there is no one else in the world that I'd rather be with tonight, and I just want everything to go exactly to Panga guesses exactly perfectly right. Corey nods, she agrees, and they kiss, and the doorbell rings again. They're confused, but Tapanga opens to reveal a nerdy boy in a baby blue tux paired with a ruffled undershirt. He gasps to Panga, you look radiant. Corey and t Pega stare back in pure confusion. Topeka asks, Howie, what are you doing here? He explains, I'm here to take you to the prom. My dad's waiting outside in the Plymouth. Topeka still doesn't understand what are you talking about? Howie explains, don't you remember a few weeks ago when I asked you if you had a date for the prom? You said no, and I said, great. Don't you remember that? 00:33:34 Speaker 1: Howie? Oh, Howie? 00:33:36 Speaker 4: Did I ever tell you about the guy? I said, no, Tom, no, no, oh no, he put on he did this whole thing, like a whole thing, and I got called to the principal's office. 00:33:48 Speaker 3: I had never been. 00:33:49 Speaker 2: Called to a splash mob to ask you like no, don could do a musical number. 00:33:53 Speaker 4: No, But it was a thing that he had worked out with people in the school office, like send Danielle a note in class that she got called to the principal's office. And then I walked in. So I had a boyfriend and he didn't so he didn't go to our school. And this guy didn't know that. But I also didn't know this guy. I didn't know him. No, I didn't know him, like I mean, I wasn't aware he existed. But we weren't friends. Yeah, And he arranged with the school that I got called into the principal's office. It was the first time I'd ever been called into the principal's office in my life. And I hortified. And I get to the office. I'm like, I called here, and the woman's like, okay, let me you know, you wait here. I'll go see if the principal's ready for you. And I'm like okay, and I sit in the chair, like what could this be about? Then she comes back out. She goes, okay, the principal will see you now, and she opens the door. I walk in. The principal's chair is turned so I can't see the person, and then she closes the door behind me and he spins around and it's him this and I'm like, hello. 00:34:56 Speaker 3: Hello, strange guy. 00:35:00 Speaker 4: Does this whole speech and asks me to prom and I go, no, sorry, I I I have a boyfriend, and I yeah, what magazine are you in? 00:35:16 Speaker 1: Strange guy? Do you have a calendar? 00:35:19 Speaker 3: Do you have a calendar? 00:35:20 Speaker 1: How much do you get to you? 00:35:22 Speaker 2: Johnathan Taylor Thomas four. 00:35:26 Speaker 3: If he's not available, I'm gonna. 00:35:28 Speaker 4: Ask was it wasn't our prom? It wasn't even it wasn't like, it wasn't even my prom. I was like a sophomore, so I wasn't even going sor he was either a senior or a junior and was asking me. And then again, now I'm saying that maybe it wasn't a prom. Maybe it could have just been winter formal and we were the same grade. Maybe it wasn't prom. It may have been a winter formal. And I was like no anyway. No, I was like, I'm really sorry, I just you know, And then we walk out and in the office, No, anyway, but I'm going back to class. Thanks for running my day. 00:36:12 Speaker 2: Yeah, I was gonna say, I like, it sucks that you had to go through that because you had no reason to have been in that situation except that this guy wanted it and like made it happen. 00:36:23 Speaker 3: Oh so yeah, I don't feel bad for him at all. 00:36:25 Speaker 1: That's such a I do a little bit, but. 00:36:31 Speaker 2: Putting Dan Yell in that position, which is just like no, no, no, I don't Oh, that's horrible. 00:36:38 Speaker 4: So Chapanga is sympathetic. There must have been a misunderstanding. See Corey and I are back together. How he asks, so do we or do we not have a date? Corey's patience is wearing thin. No, you do not have a date. Kapeche back in the Plymouth, Back in the Plymouth, So funny, Proai size his senior prom dream is crumbling right in front of him. How He admits, who am I kidding? Even my other said it didn't make any sense. He places the corsage on Topanga's wrist. You too, go have fun, see you at the reunion. That's a great line. He walks away, his head hanging. Topanga stops him. Howie wait, Corey whispers, please no, please no, please no. Tapega turns to Corey and, through gritted teeth, admits, I feel bad. Corey responds, through gritted teeth as well, A friend, God, this is our prom Nighteg reminds him it's his prom night too. Corey reminds her, yes, but I want everything to go exactly perfectly right to Pega explains, if poor Howie is sitting at home crying his eyes out because of me, I will not feel exactly perfectly right. Corey quickly changes his tunes. Oh, Howie, you want to be our date? He places his corsage on how He's wrist and pats him on the back. Ali's night is made, and now we're at the prom. Right or where was where was your prom? No, eight people didn't do one? 00:38:00 Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, too good for problem. 00:38:04 Speaker 1: Did you have dances at all? Or was it more just like dancing around campfires naked while screaming into the wind or something nothing? Nothing okay, No, I mean you know you know what we did. 00:38:19 Speaker 2: We did a huge We did a big Thanksgiving feast every year. So we would have a school Thanksgiving where we would all cook and like contribute stuff together and have a big and we would all sit outside. No, and then the whole school there would be sixties kids or fifty some kids, so you know, all the teachers and it was really nice. 00:38:35 Speaker 3: It was great. 00:38:37 Speaker 2: That's the only real like event. And then graduation was a huge deal. We would you know, everybody would get an award and like every you know, speeches and stuff. 00:38:44 Speaker 1: It was cool. 00:38:45 Speaker 3: But yeah, no, no. 00:38:46 Speaker 2: Sports teams, no prom. 00:38:54 Speaker 1: Okay, well. 00:38:57 Speaker 2: Spoken section though, God will called the bathroom. 00:39:03 Speaker 4: Now it ProMED Topega. Thanks Cory for being such a good sport about Howie Corey stays positive? Are you kidding? As long as I'm here with you, Tupanga, nothing else matters. They take a seat at the table and how he sits right in between them, he spots a friend, Hey Zamski, pulling Topanga and Corey close to him. Look who I'm with? We see Zamski wearing the same tuxedo with a ruffled undershirt, sitting between a couple as well. He pulls his couple close and gives Howie two thumbs up. Is the joke that the same thing happened to this other guy too, That they both just tried to go after girls who had recently become single. Okay, and then they they didn't. 00:39:35 Speaker 1: They didn't actually technically ask, they just. 00:39:39 Speaker 4: Do you have a date now? 00:39:40 Speaker 2: But great was the idea that this is like part of a scam, like a plan that they had to Like, I. 00:39:46 Speaker 1: Think this is just two sad guys who ended up in a throttle without without without knowing it was gonna happen. 00:39:52 Speaker 2: I didn't love that joke, Like I loved how he set up, but the fact that there's like another how He did not make sense to me. 00:39:56 Speaker 1: I was like, what is the point of this? 00:39:58 Speaker 2: Because I always feel sorry for Howie and I like that he's inserted into the but the payoff being that there's another Howie? I was like, what is what are we saying that there's just dorky guys all over the place. 00:40:08 Speaker 1: Nerd nerds are bad now we run the world. 00:40:11 Speaker 4: I know, I know, I don't. I didn't get anything spirited. 00:40:13 Speaker 3: I was like, are we just making fun of the way these guys look or the way they dress? 00:40:17 Speaker 1: Like? I just didn't know what. It's a nerd joke. It's a straight up nerd joke. 00:40:19 Speaker 2: Yeah, which I you know, is already built into just Howie. But at least there it was like, well, he's just a unique guy. But the fact that he's like there's two of them is sort of saying like there's obviously a way to be in a way to not to be. 00:40:32 Speaker 4: The people. 00:40:33 Speaker 1: Right. At least they were there. 00:40:38 Speaker 4: Jack and Eric are there also, dressed in tuxedos, standing over by the punch bowl. Jack says all he can remember from his prom is being in the back of the limo with Karen is l. Eric has some memories of his own. 00:40:50 Speaker 1: Barbie Feldman straight up Homer Simpson read. 00:40:53 Speaker 4: Your homie, Homer Simpson read, and Barbie Feldman being one of our writers. 00:40:58 Speaker 1: A fun little now she was a writer's assistant at this time. She wasn't even one of our writers yet, was she I think. 00:41:05 Speaker 4: We've done an episode that she wrote? 00:41:07 Speaker 1: Right? Yeah, she was, did we okay? 00:41:08 Speaker 4: Good? 00:41:09 Speaker 1: Okay good? I couldn't remember if she was. Carlos were together all the time, and I. 00:41:13 Speaker 4: Also right away I was like, wait, why are Jack and Eric there? 00:41:17 Speaker 1: It made that made This is one where I was like, oh, apparently we're chaperones makes no sense. Pretending it makes sense and just move and not just move? 00:41:24 Speaker 4: And but do you mention here that your chaperones? It's not mentioned until way later. 00:41:28 Speaker 1: Until Feene says it to Jack. It's just we're just it's just. 00:41:31 Speaker 4: Weird, just like the punch Bowl. Yeah, I feel like I feel like they could have been mentioned right away, like, well, I can't believe I'm a chaperone. Doesn't feel like my problem was that long ago, you know, like. 00:41:42 Speaker 2: And for whatever reason, I'm just like, at this moment, where's mister Turner? 00:41:46 Speaker 1: I really like, I know, you know, like it's easy, but. 00:41:50 Speaker 3: It's just like we had the last time we saw him. 00:41:52 Speaker 1: Was a motorcycle. 00:41:54 Speaker 3: It's so yeah. 00:41:57 Speaker 1: Why not bring him back for a guest star? It just seems so something. 00:42:02 Speaker 4: Well, Jack adds, I can't even remember my own prom because I was so preoccupied with what might happen. After Eric agrees me too, Benny leans in closer. Anything happened, Jack responds, none of your business. Eric nods me neither. Over at another table, Sean claps his hands together. Sean is talking to Angela. This has been one heck of a prom, and now that it's over, you want to go hang out in the back of the limo. Angela's surprised and do what? Sean lets out a nervous giggle. I don't know. Play. Meanwhile, on the dance floor, Corey into Penga are dancing. Corey decides to shoot his shot. Pretty shut, pretty she pretty soon. The prom is going to be over to Pega reminds him they just got here. Corey explains, we didn't just get here. I mean really, it's taken us fifteen years to get here. We're not kids anymore, adults, and I think we're ready for an adult relationship. To Pegus Miles, fine, let's get a hotel room. Just the idea. I know what, just the idea. Corey goes cross eiyded and passes out, and then we're at the hotel front desk. Corey makes his way towards the front desk just outside the prom ballroom. He says hello to the man behind the counter, and the clerk asks if he's checking in. Corey acs surprised me. No, no, I was just just admiring your bell here. He picks up a bell from his desk and asks what it's made of? Is it real bell? 00:43:36 Speaker 3: Is it real bell? Oh my god, all these. 00:43:38 Speaker 4: Scenes were so good, so good. The attendant is not amused. Corey digs in deeper. I was just here to say, then proceeds to ring the bell a few times. The clerk turns away from Corey, and shortly after Corey and the clerk turns away from Corey, and shortly after Corey resets. He rings the bell and says, Hi, I'd like a room please, for the reason of tiredness, and it's been a very very long journey. The man asks, so, then you want a bed. Corey excitedly shouts yes, then tries to catch himself. But I mean it doesn't always have to be a bed. We could do some dancing first. The man asks if Corey would like a king sized bed or two doubles, and Corey whispers, what would you recommend for someone such as me. The man inquires, have you been tired before? Which is really funny but also doesn't actually tie in if you have been tired before? Too bad? It doesn't really make sense, but I love it anyway. 00:44:38 Speaker 1: I'm not trying, you know, one to wreck and one to sleep. 00:44:41 Speaker 4: In, after all. Corey nervously admits no, Actually, this is my first time ever being tired. The man asks exactly how tired are you? Corey laughs. Let's put it this way. If I don't get a room real soon, I may fall asleep right here. The man tells him they wouldn't want that to happen. Okay, one room, one bed, one big night. Then he asks Cory for his name. Corey gets flustered, and the clerk explains he just needs a name to put in the computer. Any name will do. Corey throws his arms in the air. This is silly. Cory will tell him his real name. It's Don Don Quixote. The man writes it down. That's new. Then he asks for his address. Corey says fourteen fourteen de. 00:45:27 Speaker 1: La mancha, Deila Mancha. 00:45:29 Speaker 4: The man repeats back, Senor Quixote de la Mancha. I'll just be needing your credit card. Corey goes wide eyed. The man wonders, did I catch you off guard? Senor qyxote. Corey pretends to search through his pockets credit card card CREDITO darn, I've left me Kapa without it. 00:45:50 Speaker 1: Just want to I mean, this scene is really really funny. It's really funny. 00:45:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, well written, yes, well performed, and just it's just a slamm do. I mean it is so kind of a predictable scene, right, I mean this is like it's in the Graduate, It's in like the but it's still great. 00:46:05 Speaker 4: Yeah, it never gets old. It never gets old. 00:46:08 Speaker 1: Now, no watching him squirm, it's just so fun. 00:46:10 Speaker 4: It's so great. He starts making his way back to prom Corey runs back into the ballroom and he spots Eric. Listen, I need your credit card. Don't ask me why, I just need it. Eric grabs his wallet, saying okay, okay, but it might be maxed out. I just bought some good which gets completely thrown away and lost under all the laughing and Corey screaming for the card. But it was so funny to me. Corey interjects, just give me the card, and he snatches it before running back to the hotel front desk. The clerk Hans Corey is room key room seven oh two for the former signor Kyote and current Eric Matthews. But I suppose a man of your ilk has many names. Corey laughs, thanks Chief. Then he happily walks away, saying to himself, now there are no more obstacles to Corey Matthews this big night. He gets into the elevator with some extra bounce in his step. Then on cue Amy and Allan walk into the hotel, all dressed up. The inmates are shook, and this was the first spot I said, wait, where is Morgan? 00:47:15 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:47:15 Speaker 3: Yeah, I just completely forgot. I'll be honest, it never even occurred to me. 00:47:23 Speaker 1: There is. 00:47:23 Speaker 3: But it is funny considering we're talking about another baby. 00:47:27 Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe deal with the one you've got that you don't seem to care about it all. 00:47:30 Speaker 4: She's just missing. It wasn't there for the guys leaving to prom like, where is she? I guess also something pretty easy. She's spending the night at a friend's house. But you know you would have. They just decided it wasn't important enough. They literally were like, no one will care. 00:47:42 Speaker 1: No one don't care about it. I didn't, I know, And. 00:47:45 Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. Care about it, Amy looks around. This place is romantic. We haven't spent the night at a hotel since our prom night. 00:47:54 Speaker 1: What how is that possible? Wait, haven't been with kids? 00:47:57 Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what she says. We haven't spent a night at a hotel since our prom night. 00:48:05 Speaker 3: Yeah, so years ago. 00:48:07 Speaker 1: They you don't go away for a weekend. You don't go on a trip somewhere everever. 00:48:11 Speaker 4: My family went to the went went on a trip. It just wasn't overnight. 00:48:16 Speaker 1: No, they can't that. 00:48:19 Speaker 3: We haven't gone to a hotel alone. Oh okay without that alone, Like, we haven't had a night alone at a hotel that could That makes it. 00:48:29 Speaker 1: Mean if say in a while, don't make it since our prom night. I mean, really, you were teenagers from last time you were in a hotel together alone. And again I asked it and nobody answered. Do we still own the Wilderness Store? Oh, we have no idea. I literally watching the store. 00:48:47 Speaker 3: We're just watching the store. That's what she's said about with the bear at the store. That's what she's keeping. 00:48:53 Speaker 4: The business, Afloat says, And we may not get a chance to do something like this again for a long time, which I could be happier about. He leans in for a kiss. Amy tells him she has a great idea. You check in, then meet me in the lounge and we'll pretend we don't know each other. She decides she'll be chavn This was a kink mentioned in season one, by the way. 00:49:16 Speaker 1: Either have you ever done this with your spouse's your partners? Like you're gonna pretend to be and it's like always Sue and I would just laugh if I went up and I was like, are you Rosemary? I mean, like we would just start laughing, Like how do you do that? 00:49:30 Speaker 4: I don't know. But it was mentioned in a season one episode that they that they when they went to what was it when they went to a restaurant. 00:49:39 Speaker 2: Oh right, right, when they think that they're having an affair, when everyone thinks Amy's. 00:49:43 Speaker 4: Had exactly at Lamuja and she goes by a different name or something like, this is the thing, this is their thing. They do. This turns them on. 00:49:51 Speaker 2: So it's just the class I mean, it's just the easiest way for you know, there to be a confusion about who because that was the thing that it was like a note from somebody else to Amy. 00:50:01 Speaker 3: Yeah, turns, but I think. 00:50:02 Speaker 1: This is I've seen it on other shows, which means because it's got to be. It's a perfect plot device. It's so easy. But do couples do this, like I'll meet you in the bar, I'll be pretend I'm an executive. I doubt it. I doubt I mean, I don't know. 00:50:15 Speaker 3: Maybe it seems to me like that's just like an acting job that I'm not getting paid for. 00:50:19 Speaker 1: I know, it's just. 00:50:21 Speaker 2: I'll pretend to act in order to. 00:50:25 Speaker 1: Can I workshop my character first? They need a whole backstory? 00:50:28 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we gotta. But let's let's take back to one. Let me go again. 00:50:32 Speaker 4: Sorry, Alan giggles, you are bad. Amy walks away, and Alan calls after her, I'll see you later. Shaven, Alan urges the front desk clerk to be quick. He needs a room. Alan explains to another woman standing at the counter, my wife and I are celebrating. We're having a baby. I'm going to be a father, which I couldn't be happier about this. Lady is excited for him, and they hug. 00:50:54 Speaker 1: Hug a stranger. They said, your kiss on the cheek. Yeah, kiss on the cheek, give a little pack on the lips. 00:51:00 Speaker 4: And that's when Eric walks out of the dance to see them, embracing his lip quivers and disbelief. Daddy, now we're this is a moment too where you didn't see him actually get the room. So I guess just the fact that he's there and he's hugging a woman, you understand that he's checking into the hotel. 00:51:19 Speaker 1: I get, yeah, Well, it's also I think it's it's with the line too of the Oh you mean how Eric does because you come in think he just sees him at the Hotel's wrong? God, I do like the guy's line though, where he where Alan comes up, he's like, I need a room. Immediately he's like, ah, the voice of experience, like you're dealing with He's like, that's what I like to hear in the voice of experience. 00:51:46 Speaker 4: And then we're back inside the prom. Eric pushes through dancing students to find Jack and confesses, my father just checked into a hotel room with a person who is not his wife or my mother. Jack doesn't believe it. You're crazy. Your father is happily married. Eric insists he saw with his own eyes. Jack nods brom fever. It makes every man go crazy on prom night. We can't even remember our own proms because we were so obsessed with what might happen after. 00:52:09 Speaker 1: Which is literally like he said the exact same line, yes, three minutes ago, scene before, I mean literally the exact same line. Yeah. 00:52:20 Speaker 4: Jack heroically declares I gotta save these kids. Eric mimics the tone I got to save my father, and they had in opposite directions. Meanwhile, to Pang and how we are out on the dance floor, He's in awe, you are the best dancer. I mean, you could be a professional, will weren't you? 00:52:35 Speaker 3: And Jack Chaperone's in Girl Meets World for an episode. 00:52:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, the episode that I wrote, Yeah, the one that I know that that was like kind of an homage to this moment. 00:52:44 Speaker 2: Okay, I didn't know if you he was a conscious reference because I didn't I remember coming to this, didn't write that part, yeah true, yeah, no, uh yeah no, that was not I just remember coming to set and seeing you guys, but I didn't know what the episode. I never read your episode ever saw it, So okay, I thought maybe when I saw this, I was like didn't this happen. 00:53:03 Speaker 3: On girl means girl? 00:53:04 Speaker 1: I was trying to I don't know if we were chaper They changed it so much I have no idea. By the end, it was like, okay, I'm just happy to be here. 00:53:12 Speaker 4: Jack's standing guard at the exit of the ballroom. A high school couple walks toward him, hand in hand, and he stops them. Where do you think you're sneaking off? To the boy answers the bathroom, Jack responds, nice, try, I wasn't born yesterday. Now get back in there to the only prom you're ever gonna have. They obey his command. Phoene is standing nearby and takes notes of the interaction. I must say, you're a much better chaperone than I thought you'd be. Jack sternly nods. No one gets by me. Phoene tries to walk past him, but Jack starts to block him as well. Phoene eventually grabs jack shoulders and places him aside. Good soldier. Jack proudly salutes after those words. 00:53:46 Speaker 1: And that was it for Bill, right, that's it, I think, So that's what I thought. 00:53:50 Speaker 4: Yeah, And then we are in the hotel's second floor, which is definitely the boy's apartment hallway just with wallpaper. 00:53:57 Speaker 1: Yep. Sure Is. 00:54:00 Speaker 4: Steps out of the elevator and spots their room number. He sticks the room key in the slot and opens the door. Yes, it works, I did it. He pauses, then asks aloud, wait a minute, what am I forgetting? A cleaning lady walks by and chimes in the girl the girl. Ory hit the side of his head, dumbfounded. We're back at the prom nope. Phoene takes the stage, calling for the classes attention. It's time to announce prom king and Queen. He cues a drum roll, then reveals it's Tapanga, Lawrence and Corey Matthews. We hear a round of applause. Is Tapanga takes the stage, Corey frantically runs the. 00:54:31 Speaker 3: Best famous person in this high school. I mean it's just his prom king. Absolutely, Corey Matthews is prom king. 00:54:38 Speaker 1: That is were you prom queen, Danielle? You seem like you would have been a prom queen kind of No, I was not. 00:54:43 Speaker 4: I was never even up for it. 00:54:45 Speaker 1: You got it's like a big political thing, right you gotta. I don't run for it, don't you? Yeah? 00:54:51 Speaker 4: I mean my senior year, I really did kind of check out all the other years of school. I went to all my I went to school back on all of our hiatus weeks, and I was very interested in everything. My senior year, I was really just like, I'm just done. So I didn't go as much. I did win best Hair in the in the yearbook. 00:55:11 Speaker 3: I was Prince of the Redwoods. 00:55:13 Speaker 4: Were you just kidding? I was like, what that really would absolutely that would make sense. 00:55:21 Speaker 3: I also naked dressed as satyrs and ran to the woods. It was a whole that sounds great. 00:55:29 Speaker 4: I just smelted giant. 00:55:30 Speaker 1: Smelt a giant crown. Yes, I love that. Did. When you say you didn't go as much, did you ever just ditch classes? No? 00:55:37 Speaker 4: I never ditched classes, but I did. I did the majority of my senior year on set with okay. 00:55:42 Speaker 1: With that, but you never actually did either of you ever just like ditch a class and not go never. 00:55:47 Speaker 2: I mean, I mean my school it was it was, you know, class was something somewhat optional at times. It was more like a college experience. 00:55:55 Speaker 4: You know. 00:55:55 Speaker 3: It was like you could say to your teacher, like I'm going to do extra work. 00:55:58 Speaker 1: You know. 00:55:58 Speaker 2: It was like there was a lot of communication. Uh, so I would miss class veryly often could do my own thing. 00:56:05 Speaker 1: Not me, no, me, neither. I'm a real follower. 00:56:08 Speaker 2: Well, one time I went and visited my friend Aaron, who I met on the side of One World, remember, And I went to visit her in Chicago when I was fifteen, and I went to her public school and we ditched and caught a train and I was I was so nervous. So yeah, so that was like ditching you know, really you're nervous school And it was like, oh, we felt so her mom dropped us off and I was support. I had already I had done a day with her at school, and then the next day we were supposed to go back and she was like no, so we were like okay. 00:56:38 Speaker 4: It was so so fun. He hops up on stage and gets crowned right alongside to Bega. Corey asks, you told them Tapega is confused. He takes her hand and leads her right out the door, passing Jack and his hope to stop them. And then we're back on the hotel second floor. A crowned Corey and to Panga walk into their hotel room and notice a big, intimidating bed. To penga stares at it, unable to move. Corey joins her in amazement. We also get a POV shot of the giant bed. They look at each other, then back at the bed. Cory asks, so what do you want to do? 00:57:09 Speaker 1: Only thing in the room, by the way, the only thing in the room is just the bed. Yep, there's anything else there, Yep, just the bed. 00:57:15 Speaker 4: The audience laughs at their awkwardness, and then we're back at the hotel front. 00:57:19 Speaker 1: Like night stands next to the bed. 00:57:22 Speaker 4: I think there's a nightstand. 00:57:23 Speaker 1: I think there might be a nightstand. But that's it. I mean, that's here's that and then the bathroom door, and that's pretty much all you got. Yeah. 00:57:28 Speaker 4: Eric is incessantly ringing the bell, calling for the hotel man. When the clerk appears, Eric gets right to the point, I need to know which room mister Matthews is in, please promto. The man explains they don't give out that kind of information. Eric understands the game and pulls a one dollar bill from his wallet. Perhaps my friend, mister Washington will help change your mind. The man sarcastically celebrates, ooh, and Eric is pleased with himself. Then we're back in Topanga and Corey's room. The couple is still standing by the bed, right where we left them. Cory asks, you want to see something I've always wanted to do. Peka says yes, and Corey grabs her and flings her onto the bed to Pega lands gracefully. Smiling, She seductively asks, so what are you gonna do? Corey leaps onto the mattress like Randy macho man savage and flirts high there. Topega returns the sentiment high there, and then Tobanka ravishes him to make out. Corey screams, ah, don't hurt me. In the midst of the action, Corey asks, do you think it's rushing if I take off my jacket? Because I won't take off my jacket if you think it's rushing. Topeka grabs his jacket and tries to yank it off, but his head gets stuck. She says she just needs to unbutton this, and he explains, I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to see this part. But then there's a loud banging on the door. Corey blurts out, put it back, it's the vice squad. The banging continues, and Corey goes to answer the door. 00:58:45 Speaker 3: It's very vice squad. 00:58:46 Speaker 1: I just love that. 00:58:46 Speaker 3: I love that He's like immediately I'm in trouble. 00:58:49 Speaker 1: I'm in trouble. It's because yeah, but it's also like he's in trouble in the twenties, Like it's the Vice squad. The Coppa's are. 00:58:57 Speaker 3: Coming, you know. 00:58:57 Speaker 1: It's like, what who says vice squad? It's great? 00:59:00 Speaker 3: Oh so good, it's so Cory. 00:59:03 Speaker 4: Eric storms in, don't do this. The tramp isn't worth it. She casually greets to Panga. Oh good, you guys got here first. W here's dad. Corey holds up the do not disturb sign and asks Eric if he saw it. Eric explains the guy said this was the Matthew's room. Corey notts it is. Now get out. Eric clarifies, So it's just you and Topanga alone in a hotel room on prom night. Cory is screaming yes at every question. Eric clayfully wonders, so what you doing? 00:59:30 Speaker 1: What you doing? 00:59:31 Speaker 4: Corey grabs his brother and pushes him out of the room. Now alone again, Corey and Tapanga return to kissing that it's short lived. There's banging at the door again. Corey opens it to reveal. Eric Oh, Cory slams the door closed once more and goes back to macin on his girlfriend. Then we're at the hotel front desk. Eric has returned to the front desk to ring the bell again, this time even more obnoxiously. When the clerk appears, Eric immediately clarifies, not that mister Matthews, the other mister Matthews cheating. Mister Matthews, I used to be proud to call my daddy, what room's he in? What rooms he in? 01:00:06 Speaker 1: That was such a Michael Jacob's directly into your mouth read what rooms in? That was all just Michael, Yeah you can do. I can pick those out like it's so easy to see now and it's like, oh that was that was a straight yeah, that was. 01:00:21 Speaker 4: The clerk explains, I am afraid mister Washington has received all the information that mister Washington is going to get guys so good. 01:00:30 Speaker 3: He's great, a great. That character is always a fun role and nails it. 01:00:36 Speaker 4: Get to play the all knowing all the powers. Oh my god, buddy hints if mister Franklin were asking Eric searches through his wallet. Mister Franklin isn't here, But how about two, mister Lincoln's and uh, mystery bag. He pulls a little tight eyed back from his pocket and dangles it in front of the man. Maybe it's good, maybe it's not. 01:01:02 Speaker 1: Carries them with them. I go, yeah, that's awesome. 01:01:20 Speaker 4: We're back in Corey into Penga's hotel room. They're still passionately pecking on each other over and over again as they take turns saying I love you. This goes on for a while, and then there's another knock at the door. They're both annoyed as Corey gets up to see who it is. This time, it's Howie. I just came to tell you I won't be needing a ride home. He introduces adult woman Jan from the Hurts Rent a car lady to Corey. Apparently Howie resembles her ex husband Murray. Jan kisses Howie a few times on the cheek, and Corey slams the door closed. 01:01:57 Speaker 1: How is the only one who got some. 01:02:01 Speaker 4: Howie? I didn't need to know what happened HOWI no, no, but they did. They did think people would wonder what happened to Howie. But they didn't think people would wonder what happened to Morgan. So they answered, where Howie mystery, who's being sexually assaulted by an adult? 01:02:22 Speaker 1: Adust? Correct? 01:02:23 Speaker 3: Correct, and he's eighteen. Let's assume he's eighteen. Because they're eighteen. Everyone said they're eighteen. 01:02:27 Speaker 2: The you and Corey are eighteen. You guys have already said that. You said you're adults, and because you get in a room and you're. 01:02:36 Speaker 4: All right, yeah, okay, all right, that makes sense. I guess they're eighteen at least. Yeah, I was eighteen. I guess I was eighteen by the time my prom rolled around. I turned eighteen in May. 01:02:46 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:02:46 Speaker 3: I think they're very careful to say you guys are both adults. 01:02:49 Speaker 4: And you say, well, I know we say it, but a couple every time we said it, I was like, but we're not. I was waiting for someone to counteract that we're not, but I guess we have. Isn't having your eighteenth birthday kind of a big deal on this show? 01:03:00 Speaker 1: Oh? 01:03:00 Speaker 3: Why wouldn't she hit it's sixteen with the wrestling? 01:03:03 Speaker 4: Why wouldn't we have addressed when any of us turned eighteen? I don't know it just yeah, that bumped me multiple times that we kept saying we're adults. Were adults, and she's like, you're right. And I kept waiting for someone to be like, well, sure, but okay, you're right. I guess we're eighteen. Okay. Corey turns to Topanga and laughs, quick, let's get this over with before Fienie gets here. To Pek is concerned, you want to get this over with? Corey assures her he didn't mean it like that. He just meant they don't need any more interruptions. They've been waiting for everything to be exactly perfectly right, and now it is. Tepega seems preoccupied. Now, maybe we need to be more spontaneous now when we think we have to. Like one day, on the way home from the library, Corey surprised, what do you want a book? He jumps out of bed and grabs a book from the side table. He opens it up to Tapanga and screeches when he realizes it's the Bible. It's such a good joke, and it's such a good Ben move. Ben. 01:03:55 Speaker 1: The whole thing is just laugh out loud funny. 01:03:58 Speaker 4: Tapega smiles and canntinues describing her ideal moment. And it's just starting to get dark, and you hold me because I'm cold, and we just look into each other's eyes and we just know. Maybe that's when it happens. Cory asks in pain, when, when? 01:04:12 Speaker 1: When? And what Ispanga's thing about being cold all the time. 01:04:16 Speaker 4: She did the same thing at the s when Amy wrote her stories, she was off and shivering. She was cold. 01:04:22 Speaker 1: All these women are cold. 01:04:23 Speaker 4: Women are always cold. We're always cold. And uh, it's super sexy when you are like little furnaces. When when you make us warmer, apparently God, to Banka insists, I want to that's why we're here. I'll do whatever you think is right. I'm just so confused. Meanwhile, Corey is repeatedly saying when each time to Banga say takes a breath. Corey tells her she doesn't have to be confused. They're adults now, and adults do not get confused. To Panga nods, you're right, let's go. Just then she grabs his face and he screams in pain, ouch, my eye, my eye. To Banka asks to see it, but he tells her, don't worry, got another eye. Just do everything on my rights. 01:05:02 Speaker 1: Do you remember doing this? Did no at all? 01:05:06 Speaker 2: Because it's a lot of good, like physical body and like this, These are these are scenes that are very hard to do. 01:05:12 Speaker 1: Actually, you know that you have to all be comfortable, and but you guys are doing so great. 01:05:16 Speaker 3: I just didn't know if you remember. 01:05:17 Speaker 4: I didn't remember. There was a moment where I was like aggressively kissing Ben's face where I did remember that, where I remembered that like by the fourth or fifth time you've done that, and you are you actually are kind of aggressively smashing your faces together, You're a little like Okay, I remembered that. I remember that being a feeling like uh, And I obviously remember Ben and I at this point were so it would have been impossible for us to be more comfortable with each other. Our physical bodies were so comfortable right, being even TV romantic, it just felt verre. We were super comfortable, and and all the blocking and all of everything we did just felt like second nature. It felt very like, yeah, this is what we do, and we are like little puzzle pieces at this point. So I did remember that, but I don't remember like that. When the eye thing happened, I was like, did I even remote? Did it look like I poked him in the eye? Wasn't he Yeah? 01:06:13 Speaker 1: I mean they did. They did it enough where you're grabbing his face fast and jerking back. So yeah, it worked, but physical comedy is hard enough. But also doing it in such a confined space. I mean, you guys are on the bed the whole time. Yeah, and that's that's not easy. Yeah, it was great. 01:06:27 Speaker 4: So Tapanga demands that he go get some ice. She won't go anywhere they have all night. Cory groans, but he gets up and leaves. On his way out, she adds, oh, and bring back a couple of sodas, and then we're in the hotel hallway on the second floor. Corey leaves the room and places his room key on the ice machine while he grabs a. 01:06:42 Speaker 1: Skow Ah here Benny Hill theme started, La Lana Lana Yet no Nah, it's coming. 01:06:49 Speaker 4: Then he leaves the key there to fetch a couple of sodas. Perfect timing as Alan walks out of his and Amy's hotel room with an ice bucket. I'll be right back shaven, and then the elevator opens and Eric has heard at all. Alan quickly runs over to the ice machine in his robe, giggling to himself. Eric returns to the elevator whimpering as the door closes. Corey is buying sod. And this doesn't make sense either. You have it, You could stop him right there? Why do you Why do you go back into the like? Why do you let the elevator take you down instead of intercepting your dad right there? I don't know, I know why you need to walk in on Topanga, But it's crazy. We've already bought the idea that Eric thinks something's going on there. We didn't technically need this moment too. 01:07:37 Speaker 1: He saw it already, he'saw it already. 01:07:39 Speaker 3: I think it's just to increase the like oh near misses right, Like the idea is like the audience because this is. 01:07:45 Speaker 2: Classic farcical theater stuff, which I love. Did you guys ever see Noises Off? No, it's a great it's a stage play. But and then it's a good movie too, it's a great movie. So what they do is is it's a it's a stage of a farce. It's a play within a play. So you're watching the first act, is watching the backstage of what's going on during and so it's like a real farce. Happening while on stage is a farce. So they rotate the stage for the second. It's so cool you gotta watch it. But anyway, it's all this stuff, you know, the door's opening, doors closing. That's like, this is all part of that tradition and so that I think they have to keep it going on stuff. 01:08:23 Speaker 4: And it is very fun. 01:08:24 Speaker 1: You're right. 01:08:25 Speaker 4: Yeah, So Corey's trying to buy sodas, but his dollar bill isn't working. This gives Alan enough time to fill his ice bucket, and he accidentally grabs the wrong room key. The inmates really freak out about this. He walks over to his room, but the key doesn't work. He's puzzled. He looks around at the other rooms. He must have forgotten which room they're staying in. Alan successfully opens his neighbor's door with the key, which is Corey. Into Pega's room. He lets out an overpowering yes, with no idea what he's what he's in for, And now we're in Corey into Pega's room. No one is there. He calls out, honey, I'm back. He begins undoing his robe. Come on out, don't be shy, Chavon. He poses outside of the bathroom in just a T shirt and boxers, let me see what's behind that door. Tebenga opens the bathroom door in horror, and Alan lets out of blood curdling screen. 01:09:11 Speaker 1: Ah, so great. 01:09:13 Speaker 4: Then we're back on the hotel second floor. Back out in the hall, Corey is secured two sodas and gets what he believes is the room key he left on the ice machine. He inserts it into his room, but it doesn't work. He looks at the surrounding room numbers and decides to try the neighbor's door. Sure enough, it works. He walks into the room with an ecstatic yes. Then we're in Alan and Amy's room. Corey walks in and realizes it's a completely different room. He calls out for tepanga, honey. He walks toward the bathroom and Amy asks you like in a sexy voice and reveals some revealing lingerie. Corey screams at the top of his lungs, and Amy quickly covers herself up with a robe. The crowd goes absolutely crazy. Alan hurries out of the hotel room and stares at the door, confused how this happened. Then at that moment, Eric stomps out of the elevator. Thought she could get away with it, didn't you? How could you do this to my mother? Alan's confused, but he decides to roll with it, thinking Eric's talking about the pregnancy. Well, nobody planned this. I mean, it wasn't something we planned on. It just kind of happened. It's like one of those wonderful miracles that's already happened to me three times before Eric plugs his ears in disgust. Alan laughs, you don't even live in the house anymore. It's not like I'm asking you to give up your room. Eric is flabbergasted. You're moving her into the house. He admits, I can't do this anymore. I gotta know who's in there. He yells for the woman to come out, so Tapanga obliges. Eric shell shocked, Oh daddy. Then Corey and Amy exit their room, and Eric points out, how could you do this to mom and Corey? He then realizes what he's seen. I am so out of the loop. Corey asks his parents, what are you guys doing here? Amy and Alan smile, and Alan explains we're celebrating. Amy chimes in, we were gonna wait until tomorrow, but Alan can't contain his excitement. We're having a baby. Everyone is speed. Corey eventually asks you're having a baby. They confirm it, Yep, they're having a baby. Eric explains, I'm gonna be an uncle. Cory asks, so you're having another kid and Alan nods, yes, we are, and we're thrilled about it. Corey asks if this was planned, and Alan answers, truthfully, it isn't. It's like I told you before, sometimes things can happen in a minute that will change your life forever. To Panga and Corey look at each other, Amy continues, we're just lucky that it came at a time when we can handle it. She tells her son and his girlfriend to have a nice night, and then they walk off back into their room. To Penga realizes they trust us. Corey nods, this really is the biggest night of our lives. Huh. To Panga holds out her hand and asks shall we They kiss and they head back into their hotel room. Music begins to play as the camera zooms out. We assume this is going to lead us to credits, but then to Panga and Corey open the door to leave, and Jensen said, well that was quick. 01:12:03 Speaker 1: I had a much worse thought because we were gone on our convention or at our convention, and I was awakened on Sunday morning by the couple next to me having very loud, aggressive sex in the hotel, and I just thought about the twist to that story is Corey Tebega still decide to do it and Alan and Amy have to listen to it happening the entire. 01:12:25 Speaker 3: Time in their room next door. 01:12:28 Speaker 1: How awful that would have been for everybody involved. 01:12:31 Speaker 4: I would have been awful also the other way around. Yeah, So they are wearing their crowns and heading to the elevator. They look happy about their decision to wait for another time. And then we're in the tag which is at the prom to Panga and Corey are slow dancing. He says, I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing right now. She agrees me neither. Sean and Angeli are dancing nearby. Sean mouths what happened to Corey, and Corey just gives him a subtle smile. Sean dramatically rolls his eyes and focuses his attention back on Ange and our four favorite John Adams Virgins dance the night away at from And that's our episode. I can't believe how much better that episode is than it was in my memory. 01:13:14 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the best episode we've seen in a couple of weeks. Rankly, I agree. 01:13:19 Speaker 2: I think it's just we all have a bad memory of shooting that week, which is a bummer because it's a fun episode and would have probably should have been fun, but it wasn't. 01:13:28 Speaker 3: Negative. 01:13:28 Speaker 4: Yeah, but it really was a good episode, really enjoyable to watch. Something I would definitely like if I were gonna pick episodes to do a rewatch of, first, you know it's a good one. Yeah, I would throw this one into the mix, Like, of all this, of all the episodes of boy Meet's World we've seen, now, if I had to be like, all right, I'm gonna pick twenty or thirty to rewatch, this might be in there. 01:13:48 Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. Question, do you agree with Disney Channel's idea of banning the episode, because I think at the end of the day, it's kind of a decent message. 01:14:00 Speaker 2: It doesn't It doesn't actually and if you if you don't know what they're talking about, they we don't know what they're talking about. Like all the stuff that Ben has with the desk clerk is the tire. 01:14:11 Speaker 1: It's so funny, but if it would just. 01:14:13 Speaker 2: Be boring, if it was going over your head, which is fine, like it's innuendo without being like gross or weird. 01:14:19 Speaker 1: It's just funny. And they choot and at the end they decide that they're not ready to do yes exact. 01:14:24 Speaker 2: I think if anything, the kids might just be confused, you know, like they would just be like, why is this a story? 01:14:29 Speaker 1: Like what are they talking about? 01:14:30 Speaker 2: And so they would ask their parents like what what are they talking about? What, according to Banka talking about? And they are in a bed laying they're kissing each other. 01:14:38 Speaker 4: I mean, you think about the idea that, like, I think the average age of a person who watches Disney Channel they like think of as six to nine. 01:14:48 Speaker 1: It might be right, but they didn't. They didn't ban the episode that where Marguerite and I are on the bed making out, and I could argue that was actually because this was more farcical. It's kiss kiss peck peck peck, whereas we you were like making out with each other and I'm going to roll on top of her, and that can was his kiss peckpeckpeck. 01:15:05 Speaker 3: Again, that was a kid peck peck peck. 01:15:07 Speaker 4: It is what it was. 01:15:08 Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you very. 01:15:12 Speaker 4: Well.
