<v Speaker 1>Welcome to the NXT Podcast, your home for weekly NXT
<v Speaker 1>reviews and insight. The beautiful part of NXT is that
<v Speaker 1>when one dream ends, another dream begins. Find all of
<v Speaker 1>your NXT news, recaps and analysis right here. So with
<v Speaker 1>that being said, we only have one question for you.
<v Speaker 1>Ah we thought, so let's get the show started right now.
<v Speaker 2>Hey, everyone, welcome to the NXT Review. This is your
<v Speaker 2>pal Jay. I've had a really rough week, not been
<v Speaker 2>too well, feeling kind of sicken under the weather. But
<v Speaker 2>the show must go on. I can't promise you my best,
<v Speaker 2>but I can promise you definitely the review that I
<v Speaker 2>do every week. So I'm looking forward to that I have.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna go through the show. We're going to talk
<v Speaker 2>about the highlights to low lights. We're going to talk
<v Speaker 2>about the main event of this of this show. The show,
<v Speaker 2>the show that we're reviewing today is going to be
<v Speaker 2>from the Performance Center, the NXT Performance Center in winter Park, Florida.
<v Speaker 2>It was the show went on on October fifteenth, twenty
<v Speaker 2>twenty four, and this was the first episode on the
<v Speaker 2>CW that was held at the Performance Center. They never
<v Speaker 2>actually said the last few weeks that it was going
<v Speaker 2>to be there, but we just kind of assumed because
<v Speaker 2>they decided, they didn't say anything. They didn't say where
<v Speaker 2>they were going to be there. They were making a
<v Speaker 2>big deal about Chicago two weeks ago, and they were
<v Speaker 2>making a big deal about Saint Louis last week, but
<v Speaker 2>they never actually said, well, they were going to be
<v Speaker 2>so we just assumed that it was going to be
<v Speaker 2>at the at the Performance Center in Winter Park, Florida,
<v Speaker 2>and that's where it was. And the show opened up
<v Speaker 2>with a montage of what happened last week in Saint Louis,
<v Speaker 2>with a highlight at the end of the montage of
<v Speaker 2>Tony D'Angelo winning the North American title for NXT, which
<v Speaker 2>was a great match. And we're gonna go a little
<v Speaker 2>bit through that and what they fall out is going
<v Speaker 2>to be from that in a couple of minutes. Once again,
<v Speaker 2>this is Jay Welcome to the NXT Review. I'm part
<v Speaker 2>of the WWE podcast. I'm always honored to be able
<v Speaker 2>to bring this to you every week. I'm honored that
<v Speaker 2>Mac gives me this platform. And to be honest, I
<v Speaker 2>agree with a lot of the things Matt says. You know,
<v Speaker 2>he's probably a little bit more cynical than I am.
<v Speaker 2>To be honest, between you and me, I'll be interested.
<v Speaker 2>Excuse me, excuse me? Told you feeling under the wedd
<v Speaker 2>of this week. Uh. He's probably a little more cynical
<v Speaker 2>than than I am about stuff, but definitely he and
<v Speaker 2>I are like like. So last just to kind of
<v Speaker 2>give you an example, last week, sexy Red was on RAW,
<v Speaker 2>so I listened to his take on it on the
<v Speaker 2>Raw Review, and then of course he was she was
<v Speaker 2>on NXT, and I think we've both had the pretty
<v Speaker 2>much the same, the same viewpoint of Sexy Reds appearance
<v Speaker 2>on both shows. Please just focus on what you do best,
<v Speaker 2>Focus on the wrestling, focus on the focus on the backstories. Uh,
<v Speaker 2>just not not a random singer that's singing to her
<v Speaker 2>own recording. It was just weird anyway. So, as I
<v Speaker 2>said before, we had the montage highlighted by the Tony
<v Speaker 2>D'Angelo North American Championship win, and then we come back
<v Speaker 2>from that, and oh before before the montage, they actually
<v Speaker 2>showed they did the wheel, the Halloween Havoc wheel that
<v Speaker 2>they had last year. Last year it was done by
<v Speaker 2>Scarlett and someone else I don't remember, and I have
<v Speaker 2>to tell you that was a lot more enjoyable than
<v Speaker 2>this year. I like Scarlet a lot. That's just me though,
<v Speaker 2>But anyway, this year they had the wheel in the
<v Speaker 2>entryway coming from going coming down to the ring, and
<v Speaker 2>they used it twice tonight, so the first time they
<v Speaker 2>used it. So let's let's get back. I'm sorry, I'm
<v Speaker 2>jumping around. Let me get back on track. So the
<v Speaker 2>show opens up, does the montage comes back from the montage,
<v Speaker 2>and the arena is dark except one spotlight on Tony
<v Speaker 2>D'Angelo on a little table in the ring with a
<v Speaker 2>bottle of wine. And Tony Dangelo says, you know, he
<v Speaker 2>came out here to have a big celebration as a
<v Speaker 2>new North American champion. He wanted to celebrate with his
<v Speaker 2>family because without him, he wouldn't be there the title.
<v Speaker 2>I like that as a as an Italian. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I know it probably don't sound very Italian, but as
<v Speaker 2>an Italian heritage, I appreciate family. You know, we went,
<v Speaker 2>we had dinner every week when I was a kid.
<v Speaker 2>You know, the Italian family, that's the whole thing. So
<v Speaker 2>Tony says he wants to give a toast to the
<v Speaker 2>former North American champion, who is the longest still the
<v Speaker 2>longest reigning North American champion in history. I didn't realize
<v Speaker 2>it was like two hundred and seventy three days. I
<v Speaker 2>felt like that title reign went fast. I feel like
<v Speaker 2>I just felt like it was I didn't. I feel
<v Speaker 2>like it was a lot shorter than that. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I know that they were saying that he was the
<v Speaker 2>longest champion in the North American Champion in history, but like,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't realize it was that long. I mean. Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>So he talks about how oba Femi broke him, that
<v Speaker 2>he's a machine, but he needed and he needed to
<v Speaker 2>in the title by any means necessary, which I think
<v Speaker 2>is interesting because it wasn't really any means necessary because
<v Speaker 2>if you remember, he was given the crowbar by Stacks
<v Speaker 2>and he refused to use it. So that's an interesting
<v Speaker 2>comment anyway. So, but he says he uses the greatest strength,
<v Speaker 2>greatest strength, his greatest strength against him, which was pride.
<v Speaker 2>He said he would dominate any man who stands across
<v Speaker 2>the rank. He would dominate any man he sent across
<v Speaker 2>the ring for him, and he baited him and believing
<v Speaker 2>that once again you broke the down. No, he had
<v Speaker 2>him right here right where he wanted him. He sees
<v Speaker 2>the moment and did the unthinkable and he beat him.
<v Speaker 2>So then Oba Femi comes out and he and Oba
<v Speaker 2>Fami says, yep, you're right, you got me. Congratulations, but
<v Speaker 2>it will not happen again, and they're gonna they're gonna
<v Speaker 2>fight again at Halloween Havoc. And then once again, he says,
<v Speaker 2>I'll be the ruler of NXT. Dude, North American Champion,
<v Speaker 2>like the NXT Champion, maybe we can talk about which,
<v Speaker 2>by the way, that's only a matter of time, right,
<v Speaker 2>It's only a matter of time before Obafemi becomes the
<v Speaker 2>NXT Champion. But there's other guys right now. Fine, Oba
<v Speaker 2>spins the wheel, the Halloween Havoc wheel, and it comes
<v Speaker 2>out with tables, letders, and scares. Now, later on, somebody
<v Speaker 2>described the match as as just notice qualification. But I
<v Speaker 2>was under the impression that tables, letters and chairs match,
<v Speaker 2>which obviously is a play on the Halloween thing. I
<v Speaker 2>was under the impression that that was sort of like
<v Speaker 2>a ladder match where you have to get the belt.
<v Speaker 2>Like I don't know if that's true. I thought that's
<v Speaker 2>the way it was. If I'm wrong, let me know,
<v Speaker 2>but that's what I had thought about it. So anyway,
<v Speaker 2>that set up the tables, ladders and scares match for
<v Speaker 2>Halloween Havoc, So that would that's gonna be great. I'm
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking forward to that. Next, we've got Byron Saxon
<v Speaker 2>backstage an interview with Ara Mensa, and tonight you took
<v Speaker 2>on Lexus King and a Gentleman's Duel and the rules
<v Speaker 2>were that you can't strike your opponent while they have
<v Speaker 2>all four points of contact on the ground. You can't
<v Speaker 2>throw your opponent over the top rope or you're disqualified.
<v Speaker 2>Now that's interesting. So back I remember watching old matches
<v Speaker 2>from the like the seventies and early eighties, and that
<v Speaker 2>was that was actually a rule, I believe. If anybody
<v Speaker 2>remembers that, let me know. But there was a rule
<v Speaker 2>that you couldn't toss a person over the top rope
<v Speaker 2>because if you did, that was an automatic disqualification. And
<v Speaker 2>that eventually went down the wayside, which I thought was
<v Speaker 2>weird because if they don't have battle royals back then. Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>moving on, so you can't throw your ponent over the
<v Speaker 2>top rope onto the floor, and then you also the
<v Speaker 2>refreak does not count to five for a break, the
<v Speaker 2>referee counts to three. And also if two guys are
<v Speaker 2>on the floor at the same time, you can't. There's
<v Speaker 2>no you can't engage in combat on the floor, and
<v Speaker 2>if you do, then you are just qualified gentleman's match, right, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>So Or wants to know what the rules are by
<v Speaker 2>iron explaining, explains the rules, and then Lexus King comes
<v Speaker 2>out and Or wants to know why Lexus continues to
<v Speaker 2>play games, and Lexus claims that or cheating during their match.
<v Speaker 2>He wanted to make his father proud so that he
<v Speaker 2>may be a better man tonight. Now it's interesting because
<v Speaker 2>if any so, for those of you that don't know,
<v Speaker 2>Lexus King is Brian Pillman's son, and Brian and Lexus King,
<v Speaker 2>Brian Pillman Junior, whatever you want to call him. He
<v Speaker 2>never really knew him. Brian Pillman died at a very
<v Speaker 2>young age. But if you remember anything about Brian Pillman
<v Speaker 2>back in the nineties, he was a crazy dude, right,
<v Speaker 2>Brian Pillman was. I mean there was one point he
<v Speaker 2>went into Steve Austin's house with a gun. I mean
<v Speaker 2>they portrayed him as a crazy, crazy dude. I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if you remember all that. I mean, there was
<v Speaker 2>the Hollywood Blonds era where he wasn't it, but but
<v Speaker 2>like later on, like before he passed away, he was.
<v Speaker 2>His character was absolutely crazy anyway, so he wants to
<v Speaker 2>make his father proud. Okay, fine, So the first match
<v Speaker 2>is Stephanie Vicaire and versus rens Sinclair and then no
<v Speaker 2>quarter catch crews out in this on the ring side.
<v Speaker 2>So this is the debut of Stephanie Vicoor and she's great.
<v Speaker 2>She's like, I mean, fortunately, Ren Saintclair is pretty cool.
<v Speaker 2>Don't get me wrong, but I can't wait to see
<v Speaker 2>Stephanie vi Ker wrestle somebody who's exceptional. Right, He's like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, Ren Sinclair's okay, but she's not exceptional. And
<v Speaker 2>it was a it was an enhanced squatch squash match,
<v Speaker 2>I would say probably, I would say like an enhanced
<v Speaker 2>an enhanced squash match. So they go back and forth
<v Speaker 2>and headlocks and head scissors and you know, the European
<v Speaker 2>clutch and lake sweeps and all kinds of different things.
<v Speaker 3>It was.
<v Speaker 2>It was actually a fairly sound wrestling match, like an
<v Speaker 2>actual wrestling match. So there was there was one move
<v Speaker 2>that that Stephanie vcoord did where she she had. It's
<v Speaker 2>gonna sound so bad. This is a PG thirteen show, right,
<v Speaker 2>Stephanie Vcour had Ren Sinclair's head between her legs. It
<v Speaker 2>was just bashing her head into the canvas. Which I
<v Speaker 2>do is like you can see the guys. You can
<v Speaker 2>see the guys from Northcota Catch Catch Crew just looking
<v Speaker 2>at it going, oh my god. Anyway, sorry, running out
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of sleep, so I apologize, but anyway, uh,
<v Speaker 2>And then eventually what happens is the Core ends up
<v Speaker 2>beating Ren Sinclair with ay what they call the package backbreaker,
<v Speaker 2>which looks pretty devastate. I mean, I mean, I tell
<v Speaker 2>you every time somebody is a really good backbreaker and
<v Speaker 2>puts their their back and puts their knee up against
<v Speaker 2>somebody's back, it looks like, how does it not hurt?
<v Speaker 2>Like anyway? So then after the match rocks Roxanne Perez
<v Speaker 2>and Corda Jay and come out, come in and gang
<v Speaker 2>up on Vicaire and Julia storms into the ring to
<v Speaker 2>make the save. Julia headbutts Julia headbuts Jade Cory. Jade
<v Speaker 2>Perez attacks Julie from behind double Irish whip Julian and Julia.
<v Speaker 2>They kicked Julia with a double drop kick, and Julia
<v Speaker 2>and Vicora kicked Perez and Jade out of the ring
<v Speaker 2>and then challenges Perez and Jay to a tag team
<v Speaker 2>match at Halloween Havoc. No wheel was spun. To be honest,
<v Speaker 2>I was kind of disappointed. I thought that would be
<v Speaker 2>kind of fun to have them be like a specialized
<v Speaker 2>match between the four of them. But that being said,
<v Speaker 2>that being said, the four of them will be Fire
<v Speaker 2>Julia and Stephanie versus Roxanne and Cora. It will be
<v Speaker 2>a great match. Again, looking forward to it. And I
<v Speaker 2>think I said this last week, and they're building in
<v Speaker 2>the Halloween having I think Halloween Havoc's only a week
<v Speaker 2>and a half away, so they don't have a lot.
<v Speaker 2>They spend so much time building up the c W
<v Speaker 2>shows that now they have to kind of kick it
<v Speaker 2>in the high year because we can half left between
<v Speaker 2>now and Halloween Havocks. So they got to get these
<v Speaker 2>they gotta get these matches set. So within the first
<v Speaker 2>half hour of the show, they've already got two matches set.
<v Speaker 2>They got Oba versus Tony D'Angelo, and they got the
<v Speaker 2>tag team match between Roxanne and Cora versus Julia and Stephanie.
<v Speaker 2>Okay who moving Overall, the match itself overall was was okay,
<v Speaker 2>but the the after the after stuff was actually pretty cool.
<v Speaker 2>So then we see Trick Williams kind of just talking
<v Speaker 2>have a good old time with Colonie Jordan in the backstage,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, Trick says, regardless of who wins the
<v Speaker 2>triple threat main event, Trick knows that he is that
<v Speaker 2>his title reign is going to be better than last.
<v Speaker 2>This one's gonna be better than the last title reign.
<v Speaker 2>And Clowney doesn't know who are an next opponent's going
<v Speaker 2>to be, and she's gonna see Ava to make to
<v Speaker 2>make that decision, but she'll be ready. And then we
<v Speaker 2>see Fatal Influence uh lurking in the background. So next
<v Speaker 2>up we have Sean Spears and Brooks Jensen. They take
<v Speaker 2>issue with a Chanti the Adonnas as he continues to
<v Speaker 2>flirt with Carmen Petrovitch and Brindley Reese. Brooks decided, you know,
<v Speaker 2>Chanti the Adonnas gives a flower to one of the
<v Speaker 2>girls I forgot which he was giving kind of both
<v Speaker 2>of them, and Brooks Jensen grabs a flower rips it
<v Speaker 2>up and throws it on the ground, and and mister
<v Speaker 2>Stone comes in and they all kind of rush them
<v Speaker 2>to Ava's office and then Karmen Petrovitch picks up the
<v Speaker 2>rose petals, which you're gonna come into play later on.
<v Speaker 2>So then we have the second match of the night,
<v Speaker 2>which is or Mensa versus Lexus King and a gentleman's
<v Speaker 2>dual match. Now, this was actually decent match. Nothing, it
<v Speaker 2>was nothing spectacular, but it was it was. It was
<v Speaker 2>a good match. The rules did come into play a
<v Speaker 2>little bit. There was one accidentally almost throwing over the
<v Speaker 2>top rope, which ended up not being a thing. There
<v Speaker 2>was a couple of times where Lexis King went down
<v Speaker 2>on all fours to like stop the fighting because in
<v Speaker 2>your part of the Gentleman's agreement is if you if
<v Speaker 2>you have four points of contact on the on the mat,
<v Speaker 2>then you can't hit your opponent. So, you know, it
<v Speaker 2>was it was cute. It was an interesting concept. But
<v Speaker 2>the the end was I was King. Uh let's see,
<v Speaker 2>the end was Uhle's I'm sorry, i am I'm kind
<v Speaker 2>of I'm kind of just revived, refreshing my recollection. So
<v Speaker 2>the end was King to this kind of like back
<v Speaker 2>roll up with the bridge and just Mentor couldn't get out,
<v Speaker 2>and he just counted three. Actually he could have counted
<v Speaker 2>to five if you looked if you looked at it,
<v Speaker 2>he was kind of lying on top of him for
<v Speaker 2>a while just then he couldn't get up. So at
<v Speaker 2>the end they ended up shaking hands and cutting to
<v Speaker 2>the next next piece. So anyway, Lexus King wins a
<v Speaker 2>via pinfall on that one. After that, we have Cedric
<v Speaker 2>Alexander trying to give some encouragement to Javon Evans following
<v Speaker 2>his loss lost to Randy Orton the week before, and
<v Speaker 2>then at Axiom and Nathan Fraser Phroxium come out to
<v Speaker 2>join the conversation and they congratulate him on the match,
<v Speaker 2>and then Cedric says that Oxium and Fraser should apologize
<v Speaker 2>or cost to him a shot at the NXT Tag
<v Speaker 2>Team titles. And then Wes Lee comes out says that
<v Speaker 2>Javon is not ready for the NXT title picture. Now,
<v Speaker 2>if you remember from last week, there is a there's
<v Speaker 2>gonna be a triple threat match later on between Wesley,
<v Speaker 2>Javon Evans, and Ethan Page for the for the number
<v Speaker 2>one contendership at Halloween havoc for the NXT title versus
<v Speaker 2>Trick Williams. So West tells Javon to stay out of
<v Speaker 2>his way, and Javon points out that West has been
<v Speaker 2>a little bit salty. The way it was they're really funny.
<v Speaker 2>The way that Javon and and and Sadric Alexander said
<v Speaker 2>salty was actually really funny. They have a chance to
<v Speaker 2>see you should check it out. So he's been salty
<v Speaker 2>ever since he turned his back on his friends, and
<v Speaker 2>West and Jevon continued to bickerate each other about their
<v Speaker 2>their resume potential and Axiom have to step in. Proxium
<v Speaker 2>stepped in him to break up everything. So and then
<v Speaker 2>there was a little bit of about metaphor and there's
<v Speaker 2>they're actually set up a match for next week on NXT.
<v Speaker 2>So if you watch Monday Night Raw, there was a
<v Speaker 2>little back and forth between Jackson and lash Legend Chikari
<v Speaker 2>Jackson and lash Legend with with Damage Control and they
<v Speaker 2>actually they they they decided to challenge Jackson and oh
<v Speaker 2>my god, I can't remember her name now, lash Legend
<v Speaker 2>challenge Damage Control to a match. So they set up
<v Speaker 2>another match for next week on NXT between Damage control
<v Speaker 2>and metaphor the Metaphor Ladies. So then we have the
<v Speaker 2>third match which is Niketa Lions versus Lola Ice. Let
<v Speaker 2>me tell you, this was a pretty good match. I
<v Speaker 2>love Lola Ice and later on, uh, Jada Parker comes out,
<v Speaker 2>but the two of them are just gold together. Jada
<v Speaker 2>Parker and Lola Ice are just amazing together. The match,
<v Speaker 2>The match was okay, Niketa. This was Keita Lion's first
<v Speaker 2>match since they said January of twenty twenty four, and
<v Speaker 2>she was going through all kinds of lake surgeries, took
<v Speaker 2>a long time to get back. Eventually she got back.
<v Speaker 2>This was her first match back against Lola Ice, which,
<v Speaker 2>let me die you, it's that's a pretty pretty big
<v Speaker 2>match to be And this is just another reason why
<v Speaker 2>the Keta Lions coming in NXT. Stephanie mccor, Julia, Lola, Jada,
<v Speaker 2>Roxane Perez, all these all these ladies wrestlers are the
<v Speaker 2>reason why the Ladies Wrestling division in NXT is the best.
<v Speaker 2>That's not an opinion. That's a fact. You can't argue
<v Speaker 2>with me. It's it's wait, yes, there are better wrestlers
<v Speaker 2>and on SmackDown, on Raw, but the division overall sucks
<v Speaker 2>for Raw and SmackDown compared to n XT. Tell me
<v Speaker 2>I'm wrong, because you can't, because you can't. And they
<v Speaker 2>don't even get me started on any W. Don't even
<v Speaker 2>get me started on any W. And they're waiting. They're
<v Speaker 2>just waiting for Jordan Grace to come over from it
<v Speaker 2>from t NA too. That's only a matter of time.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, she has a contract, so she's not going
<v Speaker 2>anywhere anyway. Moving on, So the match was okay. At
<v Speaker 2>the end of the match between Nikita and Lola, Jada
<v Speaker 2>comes out, distracts Lola, gets you know, gets you know,
<v Speaker 2>gets a little be a little beat down from Lola
<v Speaker 2>behind the referees. Back throws are in, Nikita does her
<v Speaker 2>finishing move, which is like a reverse splash off of
<v Speaker 2>the rope the turn buckles, and Nikita wins the match
<v Speaker 2>via pinfall. Okay, and then they're so clearly setting up
<v Speaker 2>another match between Lola and Jada. So that'll that'll be.
<v Speaker 2>They can't wait for that. They haven't they I don't
<v Speaker 2>remember them saying that they're doing a match. I don't
<v Speaker 2>remember them saying they're gonna do a match, but I
<v Speaker 2>think that they're leading to that. They're gonna be if
<v Speaker 2>the We're back in Eva's office and Fatal Influence are
<v Speaker 2>whining complaining about Julie and Stephanie mccoorr being handed things,
<v Speaker 2>and Eva says a Fatal Influence wants to shot a
<v Speaker 2>championship gold and they can take on Julia and Vicoor
<v Speaker 2>the care, the care I never say her name right
<v Speaker 2>in a tag team match next week on an XT.
<v Speaker 2>So next week there's gonna be a tag team match
<v Speaker 2>between Fatal Influence and Julia and Stephanie. I'm just gonna
<v Speaker 2>call Stephanie. It's not it's not the big Stephanie. It's
<v Speaker 2>Stephanie Va Kaier. Just I'm gonna call Stephanie for the
<v Speaker 2>for the point of not messing up her name all
<v Speaker 2>the time. Then the next match is between Rich Holland
<v Speaker 2>and Riley Osborne, and of course THEA Hale's on the
<v Speaker 2>outside and I like THEA, but her whining and crying
<v Speaker 2>is just getting so old. Please anyway, moving on, this
<v Speaker 2>is another match where where rich Holland just beats the
<v Speaker 2>crap out of Riley. I mean, Riley Osborne gets cuts
<v Speaker 2>a little bit of al offense in but for the
<v Speaker 2>most part, Rich Holland just destroys him again. I feel
<v Speaker 2>like this is all he does week on, weekend and
<v Speaker 2>week out is just is that just chase you guys.
<v Speaker 2>They bring him in, he destroys them, then they go away.
<v Speaker 2>This is the same thing happened again. He destroys Riley Osborne,
<v Speaker 2>hits him with that with that DDT that just looks crazy.
<v Speaker 2>He was about actually about to do that DDT again
<v Speaker 2>on the announcing table, and then Adrian Chase comes out
<v Speaker 2>and they meeting in the ring and then just start
<v Speaker 2>beating the crap out of each other. And finally, after
<v Speaker 2>Ridge Holland beating the crap out of Riley Osbourne for
<v Speaker 2>five minutes and almost destroying him on the announced table,
<v Speaker 2>finally referees and security comes out. It's like, where were
<v Speaker 2>you before when he was getting killed. That's just funny. Whatever. Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>at the end of the day, Ridge Holland wins the
<v Speaker 2>match via pinfall. So then there's a Byron Saxon was
<v Speaker 2>talking to Tatum Pasley and in the middle of the
<v Speaker 2>of the interview, Jada Parker just just basically accosts Byron
<v Speaker 2>Saxon and starts talking to him, and then you know,
<v Speaker 2>Tatum Packsley comes around and goes by the way, I
<v Speaker 2>love I love Tatum Pasley too, another example of you know,
<v Speaker 2>anyway moving on. So Jada grabs him and starts talking
<v Speaker 2>to him, and then Tatum comes and is like, excuse me,
<v Speaker 2>this was time to talk, and it's set up a
<v Speaker 2>match for next week between Jada Parker and Tadum Paxley.
<v Speaker 2>Again great women's division. It's it's like nothing is ever
<v Speaker 2>like a bad match, Like there's hardly ever a bad match.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, they keep the women that are not as
<v Speaker 2>good there semi relevant, but then they keep the women
<v Speaker 2>that are really good always on the forefront. And it's
<v Speaker 2>just it's so great, Like there's it just seems like
<v Speaker 2>so much more of an equal an equal pairing between
<v Speaker 2>the men and the women. Like it's it's not like
<v Speaker 2>a lot of men and some women or vice versa.
<v Speaker 2>It's it's very it's very equal, which I think is great.
<v Speaker 2>And then you have Brooks Jensen and Seawan Spears's in
<v Speaker 2>his corner versus Ashan Ti the Adonis, and you know,
<v Speaker 2>they go back and forth. The match was it was
<v Speaker 2>just okay, I'm not gonna lie, it was just okay.
<v Speaker 2>Later on towards the end of the match, Carmen Patrick
<v Speaker 2>Prederick comes out with a canvas bag which turned out
<v Speaker 2>to have those rose pedals from earlier in it, and
<v Speaker 2>it distracts Ashanti, the Adonis and a Donnas gets crossed
<v Speaker 2>from the top turnbuckle and Jensen connected with the draping
<v Speaker 2>DT to pick up the victory. So Gens Briggs Jensen
<v Speaker 2>wins that match. There was a short little vignette about Delta.
<v Speaker 2>I don't really know much about her. I'll let you
<v Speaker 2>know when I know more. Then there's a backstage between
<v Speaker 2>Luca chris Apino and the rest of the of the
<v Speaker 2>family with the Dawn, and Luca Cristophino says that he
<v Speaker 2>wants Oba Femi in the match next week. Good luck, dude. Sorry,
<v Speaker 2>does anybody think that Luca Cristophino has a chance of
<v Speaker 2>winning anything? No, we really didn't even think that Tony
<v Speaker 2>D'Angelo could win the way they did. It was great
<v Speaker 2>last week, but this is called feeding him to the
<v Speaker 2>He's requesting to be fed to the wolves anyway. The
<v Speaker 2>last match was Wes Lee and Ethan Page and Javon
<v Speaker 2>Evans in a triple threat match, and the winner is
<v Speaker 2>gonna face Trick Williams at Halloween Havoc. I'm not gonna
<v Speaker 2>talk more specifically about the ins and outs of this match.
<v Speaker 2>Let me just tell you this match rocked. If you
<v Speaker 2>this is so if you don't watch anything else from NXT,
<v Speaker 2>just YouTube searched this match. It was great. The three
<v Speaker 2>of them were awesome together. Javon is just spectacular. Wesley Is,
<v Speaker 2>I mean Wesley Is, He's magic. He's magic. And then
<v Speaker 2>I again, I know I say this every week, but
<v Speaker 2>but Ethan Page is He's a heel all through and through.
<v Speaker 2>He is the like he can to me, he could
<v Speaker 2>never be a baby face. He can never. He just
<v Speaker 2>has that that I'm better than you and I know
<v Speaker 2>it look up my face when me point to my face,
<v Speaker 2>like just mentality. And he's just so good and what
<v Speaker 2>he does. And again, if you watch any interviews with him,
<v Speaker 2>he's He's not like that in real life at all.
<v Speaker 2>He's just such a good character wrestler. He's a good wrestler,
<v Speaker 2>but his character is just awesome. Anyway, the Triple Threat
<v Speaker 2>match goes on, I mean a plus match. Watch the match.
<v Speaker 2>It's just it's great. It's a it's a great match.
<v Speaker 2>And at the end of the match, Ethan Paige ends
<v Speaker 2>up winning, so Page attacks Evans from behind, Lee superkicks Page,
<v Speaker 2>Page power bombs Lee. See this is this is I'm
<v Speaker 2>reading the bat just to just to show you this,
<v Speaker 2>all this stuff that was happening. Evans Uh lands a
<v Speaker 2>hold and hold it in the row for a two count.
<v Speaker 2>Page sneaks back into the ring and rolls Evans up
<v Speaker 2>to pick up the victory. So and after the match,
<v Speaker 2>Anthan Page grabs his microphone, cuts his music, and Page
<v Speaker 2>calls out Trick Williams and then they spin the wheel
<v Speaker 2>and they are it lands on the Devil's Playground match.
<v Speaker 2>Ask me what that is. I'm not sure. I'm guessing
<v Speaker 2>it's just no holds bard kind of thing. I We'll
<v Speaker 2>find out more next week, I'm sure. But yeah, so
<v Speaker 2>they so they're going to be doing a Devil's Playground
<v Speaker 2>match at Halloween Havoc, which I think last year Halloween
<v Speaker 2>Havoc was actually during the tapings of the show itself,
<v Speaker 2>and this year it's actually a separate premium live events,
<v Speaker 2>which I think is interesting. But I love it, you know,
<v Speaker 2>Halloween Havock. It brings us back to the old WCW days.
<v Speaker 2>I love how they use the old WCW pay per
<v Speaker 2>views too to to do these to do these pls
<v Speaker 2>for to do the pls for next. I think it's great.
<v Speaker 2>So anyway, that's how the show ended. I hope I
<v Speaker 2>wasn't too back and forth. Like I said, I apologize.
