<v Speaker 1>Sachachachy be back again. Bowl one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Episode five. I got th BOMs on my left
<v Speaker 2>though bone wore on my right. You know we're going
<v Speaker 2>down tonight. We out of sight.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's going down.
<v Speaker 2>Little from South y'all to night. Welcome back, family, Ah, yes,
<v Speaker 2>welcome to another episode of Living Boldly with Doctor Z.
<v Speaker 2>I'm your host, Doctors and over your Brian Bright, and
<v Speaker 2>I'm so glad you're here today. This space is for
<v Speaker 2>truth telling, healing and both faith and on today's talk,
<v Speaker 2>it's one that touches all of us at some point
<v Speaker 2>in our lives. We're gonna be talking about healing family
<v Speaker 2>wounds and what it really takes to rebuild broken relationships.
<v Speaker 2>Now let's walk through this together. First, I want to
<v Speaker 2>go over acknowledging the wound. You know, a lot of
<v Speaker 2>us are in denial sometimes and it's hard for us
<v Speaker 2>to open up and speak and say the truth when
<v Speaker 2>it comes to our family members. And it's just this
<v Speaker 2>is just a sensitive topic. You know, it's serious. I've
<v Speaker 2>always like to stay positive and inspired, but you know
<v Speaker 2>it could be a sad time for some of us.
<v Speaker 2>But just know, boom was, it's gonna be alright because God,
<v Speaker 2>you now. Family wounds can cut the deepest, and why
<v Speaker 2>because we expect those closest to us to love us
<v Speaker 2>the most. So when they hurt us, it leaves scars.
<v Speaker 2>And sometimes the wounds are obvious, you know, betrayal, abandonment,
<v Speaker 2>harsh words, you know. Other times they're just subtle, like
<v Speaker 2>emotional distance, unmet expectations, and silence. You know, I know
<v Speaker 2>a lot of individuals that I know, and even in
<v Speaker 2>my family, some of us are met with silence and
<v Speaker 2>no honesty and truth being spoken from our family members
<v Speaker 2>when we need it the most, you know, And I
<v Speaker 2>just want to say, they're that there's hope and here's
<v Speaker 2>the truth. You cannot heal what you will not acknowledge,
<v Speaker 2>and healing begins with honesty, with saying that hurt me.
<v Speaker 2>Once again, I want to say, you cannot heal what
<v Speaker 2>you will not acknowledge. And it's not about blame, it's
<v Speaker 2>about clarity, you know. So once you can heal, and well,
<v Speaker 2>let me say not once you can heal, but once
<v Speaker 2>you're prepared to acknowledge and just be honest, you know,
<v Speaker 2>and you can start the healing process. Once again, you
<v Speaker 2>cannot heal what you will not acknowledge. Now I want
<v Speaker 2>to get into the fact that healing doesn't always mean reconcilization.
<v Speaker 2>So let's because I just want to say that you
<v Speaker 2>can try hard, you can try all your life, and
<v Speaker 2>you still might not get the results that you're expecting.
<v Speaker 2>And it might end up with you just writing a
<v Speaker 2>letter or an email, or you might not even have closure.
<v Speaker 2>And sometimes you just don't get it and you have
<v Speaker 2>to learn to not have closure. So I just want
<v Speaker 2>to say that healing and reconciliation or not the same thing.
<v Speaker 2>You can forgive someone and still have healthy boundaries, and
<v Speaker 2>you can love someone and still protect your peace. Also
<v Speaker 2>in Romans chapter twelve eighteen, it says, if it is possible,
<v Speaker 2>as far as it depends on, you live at peace
<v Speaker 2>with everyone, And that means you do your part, but
<v Speaker 2>you don't carry their part. Once again, you do your part,
<v Speaker 2>but you don't carry their part. This is important. Forgiveness
<v Speaker 2>is for your freedom, not their permission to hurt you again,
<v Speaker 2>so you don't have to put up with it. So
<v Speaker 2>once again that means you do your part, excuse me,
<v Speaker 2>but you don't carry their part. Now I want to
<v Speaker 2>talk about rebuilding, and it takes time and trust in
<v Speaker 2>the truth. So, with that being said, if reconciliation rick,
<v Speaker 2>excuse me, if reconciliation is possible, know this rebuilding trust
<v Speaker 2>takes time, It takes humility, it takes mutual effort, and
<v Speaker 2>one person can't carry the whole bridge. I want you
<v Speaker 2>to ask yourself, is their honesty in the relationship? Is
<v Speaker 2>their willingness to change or boundaries being respected? You know,
<v Speaker 2>sometimes rebuildings starts with a simple, brave conversation. For example,
<v Speaker 2>I want to move forward, but we need to address
<v Speaker 2>what happened, you know, speaking truth and love, not to shame,
<v Speaker 2>but to heal. Once again, speaking your truth and love,
<v Speaker 2>not to shame, but to heal, not to attack or
<v Speaker 2>assault or get in another argument or fight or get
<v Speaker 2>upset all over again. It's just time to move forward
<v Speaker 2>and address what needs to be addressed about what happened,
<v Speaker 2>and speak truth and love, not to shame, but make
<v Speaker 2>sure you heal. Okay, Now I want to get into
<v Speaker 2>what bold healing looks like, because you know that's what
<v Speaker 2>we're about here bow bowld healing. And it's choosing peace
<v Speaker 2>over pride. It's choosing prayer over pettiness, it's choosing to
<v Speaker 2>show up differently, even if others don't. It's choosing to
<v Speaker 2>break these generational cycles. Because you can break generational cycles.
<v Speaker 2>You can love without love excuse me, You can love
<v Speaker 2>without losing yourself. Do not lose yourself in the process. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>And you can walk in healing even if they never
<v Speaker 2>say I'm sorry, even if you never hear from them again,
<v Speaker 2>even if you never have closure, you can walk in healing. Okay. Now,
<v Speaker 2>before I go, I want to say thank you for
<v Speaker 2>tuning in to living vocally with doctor Z. And remember
<v Speaker 2>healing is a journey, not a straight line. Be patient
<v Speaker 2>with yourself, be honest with your heart, and trust God
<v Speaker 2>to lead the process. You were made for wholeness. You
<v Speaker 2>were made to love and be loved boldly and beautifully.
<v Speaker 2>Boo once again, you were made for wholeness. You were
<v Speaker 2>made to love and be loved boldly and beautifully. You
<v Speaker 2>deserve it, You're worth it. God wants that for you. Okay.
<v Speaker 2>If this episode spoke to you, shared with someone who
<v Speaker 2>needs encouragement today, and always stay bold, stay kind, and
<v Speaker 2>stay grounded in grace. Thank you again. Family, Oh we
<v Speaker 2>gotta go, and o oh.
<v Speaker 1>The bone bacaze.
