How to Cope With A Bigfoot Encounter | Life Does Not Always Have An Answer (Speaking To A Therapist)
In this video, I speak with a Therapist who claims her neighbors are having Bigfoot and Paranormal Activity taking place on their land. This video is aimed towards helping people who have experienced the unknown and struggle to grasp the true meaning behind it. As someone who has had several Class A bigfoot encounters and a ton of paranormal experiences, I can say that it can really take over your mind and you will constantly think about it. I do believe it all has a purpose and God is refining our faith to lead us closer to him. Having a Bigfoot encounter will make you feel isolated and alone as you seek others to talk to but no one will listen. Those who do listen will judge you leaving you feeling even more isolated. We have to understand that these things are out there and the people need to know. If you have had a Bigfoot encounter and you struggle with it you can contact me to talk about it sometime.

<v Speaker 1>You're a therapist, correct, Yes, Okay, Well, there's a lot <v Speaker 1>of people that don't know how to handle these types <v Speaker 1>of encounters, especially since there's no answer for it, even <v Speaker 1>with the professionals that study it, and especially like when <v Speaker 1>you look into the Bible for answers or seek guidance <v Speaker 1>from professionals, there's just no there's no answer. <v Speaker 2>You know. <v Speaker 1>I even struggle with this because it's like, man, is <v Speaker 1>this because I'm a Christian, So I'm like, man, my <v Speaker 1>sinning because I used to like do paranormal research and <v Speaker 1>I kind of dabbled in it, and then I realized <v Speaker 1>the more I learned, like this is evil, this is <v Speaker 1>not good. This lets in a lot of bad things, <v Speaker 1>and you know, there are answers for that. But when <v Speaker 1>it comes to Bigfoot, it's like, you know, is this <v Speaker 1>the right thing to do? And I've come to the <v Speaker 1>conclusion that it is the right thing to do because <v Speaker 1>people need to know that these things are out there, <v Speaker 1>whether it's just flesh and blood creature or something paranormal <v Speaker 1>or interdimensional going on, which could be one and the same, <v Speaker 1>even if it's like extraterrestrial. Like a lot of people <v Speaker 1>have included that they're not really aliens. It could be <v Speaker 1>something demonic, which I believe. So, I mean, I don't <v Speaker 1>know if you're a Christian, but like, are you okay? <v Speaker 2>Yes? <v Speaker 1>For example, like how Satan showed up to Adam and <v Speaker 1>Eve as a snake, you know, as a creature. I <v Speaker 1>think you know, just because it's flesh and blood doesn't <v Speaker 1>mean that's the answer to the entire thing. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I think are limited understanding as humans can only <v Speaker 3>get us so far. Anyway, I don't think it's bad <v Speaker 3>to try to understand and to look into it to research. <v Speaker 3>I do think that you have to do it carefully <v Speaker 3>and guard yourself because it can open doors. But if <v Speaker 3>you have, I mean, I go back to the armor <v Speaker 3>of God, and you arm yourself with faith and with <v Speaker 3>the scriptures and with all of that to keep yourself <v Speaker 3>protected against the evil One. Because multiple times it says <v Speaker 3>that this world is ruled by the evil One and <v Speaker 3>by darkness. And I didn't understand what that meant until <v Speaker 3>I started delving into this a little bit more and <v Speaker 3>understanding like, wow, it is not just this concept. It's <v Speaker 3>not so abstract. It's here, it's happening all the time. <v Speaker 3>People are seeing it happen all the time, and it <v Speaker 3>made me realize that we had this false sense of security. <v Speaker 3>Even most Christians have this false sense of security. I <v Speaker 3>believe that we're not in tune to the spiritual world. <v Speaker 3>And from I haven't been in this very long. I've <v Speaker 3>never experienced anything firsthand. So that's why I hesitate, because yes, <v Speaker 3>I'm a mental health professional, but I also don't have <v Speaker 3>first experience in this. I one hundred percent believe it. <v Speaker 3>Every story that I've heard, I believe it. So yeah, <v Speaker 3>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, And by the way, we'll pretty much start right now, <v Speaker 1>I mean as soon as iicology and just because I <v Speaker 1>don't feel like it needs an introduction and we're just <v Speaker 1>two regular people talking. And as a mental healthcare professional, <v Speaker 1>how do you view this topic? And when you hear <v Speaker 1>people talk about their encounters and the trauma that it's caused, <v Speaker 1>what do you have to say about it and what <v Speaker 1>are your thoughts? <v Speaker 3>I noticed the signs of trauma. When people are talking <v Speaker 3>about it. I'll hear them say, oh, I'm starting to <v Speaker 3>feel really shaky, or I feel like it's all coming back. <v Speaker 3>It feels like it's happening again, or hold on, just <v Speaker 3>a minute, my heart's racing, and all of those are <v Speaker 3>classic signs of PTSD. When you have a troubling memory, <v Speaker 3>it feels like it's in the past, But when you <v Speaker 3>have a traumatic memory, it feels like it's happening right <v Speaker 3>now again because your body is responding as though it's happening. <v Speaker 3>And so that happens quite a bit when I'm listening <v Speaker 3>to these stories where people are saying, I'm feeling this <v Speaker 3>right now, So yes, I really believe that they are <v Speaker 3>experiencing trauma. And for some people it's more intense, it <v Speaker 3>lasts longer, they have a harder time getting over it. <v Speaker 3>And for other people, for whatever reason, they have this <v Speaker 3>built in resiliency that allows them to get through it somehow. <v Speaker 3>But for the people who struggle most intensely with it, <v Speaker 3>that is really difficult, because time after time I hear <v Speaker 3>people say I didn't want to say something because I <v Speaker 3>thought people would think I was crazy, people wouldn't believe me. <v Speaker 3>I didn't even want to believe it myself. I pushed <v Speaker 3>it to the back of my memory. I just I <v Speaker 3>forgot about it. I pushed it back, And all of <v Speaker 3>those are signs of as well. When something is too <v Speaker 3>difficult for you to even integrate into what makes sense. <v Speaker 3>You kind of disassociate and push it out and forget it. <v Speaker 3>Your brain doesn't know how to process it, so it <v Speaker 3>forgets about it. And there are many stories I've heard <v Speaker 3>and I think, how could this person possibly forget about <v Speaker 3>this experience they had? And it's a survival mechanism that <v Speaker 3>the brain does to keep you safe and keep you going. <v Speaker 3>So I do think that some people repress those memories <v Speaker 3>big time, or downplay it or try to rationalize it <v Speaker 3>in some way. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, absolutely. <v Speaker 1>A lot of people that haven't encounter they're either too <v Speaker 1>afraid to talk about it, too traumatized, and they'll never <v Speaker 1>go out in the woods hunting or hiking and camping again. <v Speaker 1>And then there's other people that experience this and their <v Speaker 1>minds blown away and they want to go out there <v Speaker 1>searching for answers. And then there's like what you said. <v Speaker 1>People just kind of forget about it and they're like, <v Speaker 1>what did I see? You know, maybe it was just <v Speaker 1>a bear, Even though they know what they encountered, they're <v Speaker 1>just like, I don't know, yeah. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, And that's tough. I can't imagine what I would <v Speaker 3>do in those situations either, And I think about a <v Speaker 3>lot of these people had these experiences as children and <v Speaker 3>how do you make sense of that? How do you <v Speaker 3>Or they do say something and the parents dismiss it <v Speaker 3>or think they're they're making something up, and so they don't. <v Speaker 3>I don't know. Yeah, it's people deal with it in <v Speaker 3>a variety of ways, and for those who who need <v Speaker 3>the mental health help, I wish there was a some <v Speaker 3>kind of integrated system that people could access in a <v Speaker 3>safe way where it's like, Okay, I'm going to be anonymous, <v Speaker 3>or that you know, this person actually believes me and <v Speaker 3>I can trust them. Interestingly enough, I came across a <v Speaker 3>therapist not long ago who believes in this stuff, and <v Speaker 3>I was a bit surprised because I tiptoed into the <v Speaker 3>subject and she said, oh man, she just lit up <v Speaker 3>and she knew exactly what I was talking about. And <v Speaker 3>so we've had some of those discussions, and so I <v Speaker 3>know there's therapists out there. Never would have suspected it, <v Speaker 3>you'd never know, I think, you know, So I really <v Speaker 3>encourage people if they do need professional help, you can <v Speaker 3>talk to, you can vet them out, you can set <v Speaker 3>up initial consultations with the therapists for free, and you <v Speaker 3>can kind of feel it out and see would this <v Speaker 3>be a good fit for me? Maybe does this person <v Speaker 3>you can even outright ask them, do you believe in <v Speaker 3>anything paranormal? Because I do think that there's this awakening <v Speaker 3>and there are a lot more people out there who <v Speaker 3>are are more open to that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And that's kind of what I want to talk <v Speaker 1>about today, is for the people that have these bigfoot <v Speaker 1>encounters or any type of cryptid maybe it's paranormal or <v Speaker 1>alien encounter, how do they go about coping with this <v Speaker 1>type of experience. And whenever I had an encounter, I was, <v Speaker 1>you know, pretty broken, and I do struggle with like anxiety, depression, <v Speaker 1>things like that. <v Speaker 2>I'm not afraid to admit it. <v Speaker 1>You know, if people think my encounters are alive because <v Speaker 1>of that reason, or it's just due to mental health problems, <v Speaker 1>they're wrong because I really did encounter these things, and <v Speaker 1>I'm just like any other human. I experience emotions, maybe <v Speaker 1>a little more extreme than other people. But whenever I <v Speaker 1>encounter these creatures and laid eyes on them, it had <v Speaker 1>a profound effect on me. And the first time i'd <v Speaker 1>seen one, I knew what I'd seen. It was close <v Speaker 1>up and I seen it for it was probably about <v Speaker 1>six seconds give or take, and I walked I saw <v Speaker 1>it on walk off into the forest, similar to the <v Speaker 1>Patterson Gimlin footage. It was just like that here in Missouri, <v Speaker 1>and my mind it knew it what it had encountered, <v Speaker 1>but it kept dismissing it, like you didn't really see that, <v Speaker 1>But I know, I know what i'd seen. And it <v Speaker 1>was probably about three weeks after that i'd seen the <v Speaker 1>juvenile and I realized there was a family group living <v Speaker 1>on the property. And then like it seemed like all <v Speaker 1>my problems went a way, like any issue that I <v Speaker 1>had prior to that encounter just disappeared, and I felt <v Speaker 1>normal again because my mind wasn't locked on the problems <v Speaker 1>that I had. It's like the same problems kept repeating <v Speaker 1>in my brain and that's all I thought about. But <v Speaker 1>whenever I had these encounters, like all that didn't matter <v Speaker 1>anymore and this is all that I was thinking about. <v Speaker 1>And I don't know, I felt better after my encounters, <v Speaker 1>which is different than most people that encountered these creatures. <v Speaker 1>They just can't wrap their mind around it and they're <v Speaker 1>they're terrorized by it. <v Speaker 3>Right. Yeah, I have heard of people. One story in particular, <v Speaker 3>I can't remember where I heard it, but he said <v Speaker 3>that he actually felt more peace and more or less <v Speaker 3>afraid of the dark after. I mean, it was a <v Speaker 3>terrifying encounter, but that that speaks to the paranormal aspect <v Speaker 3>of it. These aren't just flesh and blood beings. There's <v Speaker 3>a spiritual component to it people. It changes you. And <v Speaker 3>people talk about this almost like a telepathic ah. <v Speaker 2>Like the mind speak. <v Speaker 3>Yeah and yeah. So so that part really puzzles me. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it does. <v Speaker 1>I used to hear people talk about the cloaking, and <v Speaker 1>this was after my encounters, and I thought personally that <v Speaker 1>they were full of it. I wasn't ridiculing anyone, but <v Speaker 1>I just really doubted it because you'd see people show <v Speaker 1>like blurry photos. But I really did have experiences where <v Speaker 1>these bipedal invisible beings are walking out in the woods, <v Speaker 1>like maybe just forty yards off in the woods during <v Speaker 1>the winter, in the middle of the day when it's <v Speaker 1>sunny and clear in the winter, you can see really <v Speaker 1>far into the woods and you can just hear just <v Speaker 1>like a big lumberjack walking out there. But when you <v Speaker 1>look there's nothing. It's like, well, maybe there is like <v Speaker 1>cooking or whatever people want to call it. It's like <v Speaker 1>a predator. <v Speaker 3>I hear that all the time, where people say this <v Speaker 3>sound was like it was right next to me, but <v Speaker 3>there was nothing there, or it was just a few <v Speaker 3>feet away and there's nothing there. And oh, I'm still <v Speaker 3>a little shaky from this. Just last night I heard <v Speaker 3>a story from my husband. I did not realize this <v Speaker 3>they so I think I when I introduced myself, I <v Speaker 3>mentioned a little bit about we have this land right <v Speaker 3>now to our friend's house, and in between are these <v Speaker 3>woods that we're pretty sure there's probably some native burial <v Speaker 3>grounds in there. And even aside from all that, they've <v Speaker 3>experienced lots of paranormal activity. And my husband's friend is <v Speaker 3>also very pragmatic, very rational. Everything has a reason to it, <v Speaker 3>So for him to explain these experiences tells me like, <v Speaker 3>this is the last person in the world I would <v Speaker 3>think that would tell these kind of stories. So, I mean, <v Speaker 3>there's a lot too many things to go into. But <v Speaker 3>they've seen and heard and also felt the like something's <v Speaker 3>watching you, that that feeling of terror that suddenly comes <v Speaker 3>over you. So all of it, and the both mom, <v Speaker 3>dad and one of the kids have experienced things, and <v Speaker 3>so we're well aware of this. I didn't realize this. <v Speaker 3>At the end of October. Our friend had been bow hunting. <v Speaker 3>He got a deer and it ran off, and he <v Speaker 3>called my husband to come help him track it. So <v Speaker 3>they're out in the middle of these woods, pitch blacks, <v Speaker 3>nine o'clock at night in the woods that they know <v Speaker 3>that this stuff is happening. And if I had known this, <v Speaker 3>I would not have let him go. They're following the <v Speaker 3>blood trail with their headlamps and they come upon this <v Speaker 3>pile of bones and the trail suddenly disappears. And while <v Speaker 3>they're there, they hear this, like they described it, very weird, grunt, <v Speaker 3>breathy type of sound. And my husband, of all people, <v Speaker 3>he's like, what was that, you know, he was kind <v Speaker 3>of scared. He's like, this doesn't make any sense. I've <v Speaker 3>never heard this kind of noise before. Both of them <v Speaker 3>have hunted their whole life. They've been out in the woods, <v Speaker 3>so one of those things like you hear this sound, <v Speaker 3>there's nothing there, And of course they brushed it off, <v Speaker 3>like okay, let's just keep going looking for the steer. <v Speaker 3>And so I'm really glad I found out about this <v Speaker 3>after the fact, but it still makes me a little <v Speaker 3>bit shaky to even think that they were out there <v Speaker 3>in the middle of the night and they heard this <v Speaker 3>very eerie sound that neither of them can explain and <v Speaker 3>nothing was there. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying, especially since there's paranormal activity happening and <v Speaker 1>they experienced this unknown creature. I talk about it all <v Speaker 1>the time on my channel that usually people that experience <v Speaker 1>bigfoot activity are experiencing paranormal activity, not like the same day, <v Speaker 1>but like, let's say throughout the span of time, Like, <v Speaker 1>you know, they had this bigfoot experience, and then three <v Speaker 1>months later there's stuff in the house, and then after that, <v Speaker 1>you know, maybe in a couple of weeks or a <v Speaker 1>couple of months later, there's this weird UFO over the house. <v Speaker 2>Like it's it's strange. <v Speaker 3>Yes, they our friend has noticed things in the sky <v Speaker 3>that haven't made since. They've experienced a lot of weird noises. <v Speaker 3>The other night, they said they heard this what they <v Speaker 3>described as whooping and kind of like a lower grunt <v Speaker 3>and whooping for a while, and then shortly after that <v Speaker 3>they see a light, this orb of light hovering above <v Speaker 3>the ground, and then it just kind of dissipates into <v Speaker 3>the trees. <v Speaker 1>And this is this is right down the street from you. <v Speaker 3>So we have we have some acres that we have <v Speaker 3>a ranch, but we don't live there yet, so we haven't. <v Speaker 3>There's no house, there's no infrastructure. It's just fields and tree. <v Speaker 3>We have some cows and pigs and chickens and sheep <v Speaker 3>and our land. There's a small farm road. Then those <v Speaker 3>woods that I was talking about that are maybe a <v Speaker 3>couple hundred yards. I'm pretty bad at distances, but it's <v Speaker 3>in eighth of a mile, so it's really not that far. <v Speaker 3>An eighth of a mile of these woods, I think <v Speaker 3>all together it's a block of woods that's maybe ten acres. <v Speaker 3>It's not huge. It's just about ten acres of trees <v Speaker 3>between our properties. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>What a Minnesota Okay, Yeah, they're up there, especially in <v Speaker 1>the northern part. <v Speaker 3>Mm hmm. Yeah, we've heard. Actually, my neighbor did an <v Speaker 3>interview with some with a guy who does so learn <v Speaker 3>things like you people just he narrates their stories, and <v Speaker 3>he did an interview with him last year talking about <v Speaker 3>all of his experiences for about forty five minutes. And so, <v Speaker 3>but of course he wants to remain anonymous and all <v Speaker 3>of that, and so do we obviously. But the comment <v Speaker 3>section was very active with people from our area talking <v Speaker 3>about their experiences for years and years, so it doesn't <v Speaker 3>surprise me. It just feels more real than it ever did. <v Speaker 3>It's not just stories anymore. It's these accounts from people <v Speaker 3>that we know and trust more than anyone. And to <v Speaker 3>know that we will be living right there someday, it does. <v Speaker 3>It's unsettling. It's not that I'm terrified, and it's not <v Speaker 3>that I don't want to go ahead with it, but <v Speaker 3>it's unnerving. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, absolutely, And I mean when you move to <v Speaker 1>that area, they could be around and you just got <v Speaker 1>to be mindful of that. So let's talk about ways <v Speaker 1>that people can cope with an encounter. Let's say there's <v Speaker 1>a hunter that went into one of his favorite spots <v Speaker 1>in the National Forest and he was confronted with a <v Speaker 1>sasquatch creature. And let's say this hunter never wants to <v Speaker 1>go into the woods again, he's terrified, he doesn't want <v Speaker 1>to talk about it. How can a person like this <v Speaker 1>deal with this situation? And I'll talk about how I <v Speaker 1>dealt with the situation. Like I said, I was pretty <v Speaker 1>excited to see these creatures because I was in a <v Speaker 1>broken stage in my life and I was glad. I <v Speaker 1>rejoiced to know that there was more out there than <v Speaker 1>what we know, and there's more to life, and. <v Speaker 2>That was my perspective. <v Speaker 1>But at the same time, you know, I don't know <v Speaker 1>what they are, and I'm not going to say that <v Speaker 1>these things are friends and they won't hurt you. But <v Speaker 1>that was just my experience that they went their own way. <v Speaker 1>But what helped me was I think the excitement and <v Speaker 1>I went out into the woods looking for answers. And <v Speaker 1>I hear a lot of times that if you're facing <v Speaker 1>like a traumatic event or you're scared of something, the <v Speaker 1>best way to deal with it is to face it <v Speaker 1>and kind of deal with it head on. So I <v Speaker 1>think that was more my approach. But just just because <v Speaker 1>I'm brave and this I'm not even gonna say I'm brave. <v Speaker 1>People say that I'm brave. I'm just looking for answers. <v Speaker 1>But I think that helps me to cope with these <v Speaker 1>experiences and encounters, and I think speaking with people about <v Speaker 1>their encounters helps me deal with it. So I'm not <v Speaker 1>brave by any means. And you know it, after I <v Speaker 1>had these encounters, that's all I thought about. So just <v Speaker 1>because I was excited about it doesn't mean that it <v Speaker 1>was a good thing or a bad thing. It's just <v Speaker 1>like an unknown thing. And I think that's the most <v Speaker 1>troubling thing for me is that nobody has an answer. <v Speaker 1>It seemed like the more people I talk to, the <v Speaker 1>less I know, and the more information I look up, <v Speaker 1>the less I find out about these creatures. And that's <v Speaker 1>kind of strange because usually if you're having an issue <v Speaker 1>in your life and you study it, you figure it out, <v Speaker 1>you can overcome it. But with this, it just leads <v Speaker 1>to more answers or more questions. <v Speaker 3>Right. Well, first of all, it's not a one size <v Speaker 3>fits all approach. What works for some people maybe because <v Speaker 3>that's there who they are, that works for them, and <v Speaker 3>for other people that need something else, so what? And <v Speaker 3>also I would approach it differently if someone sees it <v Speaker 3>from a spiritual point of view, as opposed to no <v Speaker 3>spiritual connection at all, because I I don't say I <v Speaker 3>can't say no, but I know, based on everything I know, <v Speaker 3>that this is a spiritual thing, and not just from <v Speaker 3>all the stories I've heard, but from what I know <v Speaker 3>of scripture, and it seems like people who have a <v Speaker 3>faith in God have an easier time dealing with it. <v Speaker 3>Not to say that God is just going to make <v Speaker 3>everything go away. That's not how it works either. You <v Speaker 3>can have a faith in God but also need to <v Speaker 3>go to therapy and that's okay, under but the piece <v Speaker 3>that I have is understanding it from the spiritual point <v Speaker 3>of view is that we can't fight flesh, and we <v Speaker 3>can't fight it with just flesh and blood because it's <v Speaker 3>not the best defense we can have against it is <v Speaker 3>prayer and being brooded in your faith. So that's a <v Speaker 3>big piece of it for me. And as far as <v Speaker 3>the trauma symptoms, yes, exposing yourself to a trauma, facing <v Speaker 3>your fear, but some people need to do that in <v Speaker 3>a much more deliberate way, not just going headfirst into it, <v Speaker 3>and because that's how people get re traumatized. So for <v Speaker 3>some people, facing the fear is something they can do <v Speaker 3>and that's what they want to do, and that works. <v Speaker 3>For other people, I think it needs a bit more <v Speaker 3>of a strategic approach, and you do that desensitization in <v Speaker 3>a gentler way. And so talking about it, for sure, <v Speaker 3>is a way to desensitize the fear and all of <v Speaker 3>the other trauma symptoms that come along with that. And <v Speaker 3>I know that can be tricky for some people if <v Speaker 3>they don't have people in their life, but coming onto <v Speaker 3>these channels and speaking about it, I wish there were <v Speaker 3>support groups and for things like this. I think that <v Speaker 3>would be really helpful too. This has given me a <v Speaker 3>few ideas. Maybe maybe I could create something like that, <v Speaker 3>a safe place for people to come and give each <v Speaker 3>other support and talk about their story. Because there is <v Speaker 3>there is a therapy called trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. <v Speaker 3>I know that's a mouthful, but it basically has a <v Speaker 3>person tell their story over and over enough times that <v Speaker 3>it's not it doesn't have control over them anymore. But <v Speaker 3>of course in doing that, they learn coping skills along <v Speaker 3>the way so they don't get overwhelmed by those traumatic feelings. <v Speaker 3>And so I'm thinking, when people are experiencing these traumatic <v Speaker 3>flashbacks of these things, breathing. Breathing is well, And I <v Speaker 3>know it sounds so cliche cliche, but it really does <v Speaker 3>have a lot of power because when your nervous system <v Speaker 3>gets kicked into that fight or flight response of when <v Speaker 3>you were in that traumatic experience, your breathing automatically increases, <v Speaker 3>your heart rate, increases, your adren of glands start pumping <v Speaker 3>out adrenaline and endorphins, and it's this whole cascade of <v Speaker 3>responses and so for you to stop and slow your <v Speaker 3>breath down, your emotional brain takes over, and in order <v Speaker 3>to calm the emotional brain and bring the logical brain <v Speaker 3>back online, you slow the breath down, and there are <v Speaker 3>lots of different ways to do it. One of the <v Speaker 3>for me, one of the quickest ways to do it <v Speaker 3>is you do a double inhale and a really long exhale. <v Speaker 3>So you go and you bring yourself to a state <v Speaker 3>of where you feel that in control again, and then <v Speaker 3>you can go from there, and then there's a lot <v Speaker 3>of different things you can do. For people who who <v Speaker 3>maybe don't have a safe place to talk about this, <v Speaker 3>journaling about it can be really effective because it's one <v Speaker 3>way to externalize it, get it out of your head <v Speaker 3>onto paper, and maybe that would be a first step <v Speaker 3>into sharing it at some point, because yeah, for a <v Speaker 3>lot of people, they don't want to share it because <v Speaker 3>they think they might be seen as crazy. Other people <v Speaker 3>are so terrified they can't even get themselves to talk <v Speaker 3>about it, and of course that's really unfortunate, and I <v Speaker 3>really feel for those people because it doesn't matter what <v Speaker 3>the trauma is. And that's the other thing. It's like <v Speaker 3>two people, ten people could experience the exact same event, <v Speaker 3>and they all experience the trauma in a different way. <v Speaker 3>And for some people they can move on just fine, <v Speaker 3>and for other people that really got to them. And <v Speaker 3>so trauma isn't the event itself, it's your internal experience <v Speaker 3>of it. And so I think for people who believe, <v Speaker 3>well I shouldn't have this kind of traumatic response to it, well, <v Speaker 3>it is what it is. That's how your body responded, <v Speaker 3>and that's okay. There are tools, though, to get unstuck <v Speaker 3>from those traumatic memories. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And you bring up some very good points. <v Speaker 1>I believe that if you're not able to tackle this <v Speaker 1>head on, like go out there looking for him, it's <v Speaker 1>probably not a good idea for one, but it's good <v Speaker 1>to talk about it. So go to some channel or <v Speaker 1>somebody who narrates these stories and talk to them about <v Speaker 1>it and share your encounter, and you'll find like minded <v Speaker 1>people in the comments, and you might find a friend <v Speaker 1>that you can talk to about this. And after I <v Speaker 1>had my encounters. I met a buddy from Minnesota, and <v Speaker 1>he was a really nice guy and just very insightful, <v Speaker 1>and he had some experiences in northern Minnesota whenever he <v Speaker 1>was camping, and he's my age, and he was just <v Speaker 1>a really good guy. We talked about God and his <v Speaker 1>beliefs and religions, and even though I was Christian and <v Speaker 1>he was a Pagan, we had the same beliefs per se, <v Speaker 1>and he was just a really good guy, and I <v Speaker 1>felt like I met a family member. And somehow, after <v Speaker 1>telling these encounters, I met all kinds of really good <v Speaker 1>people that you know, are going through things in their <v Speaker 1>life that don't have anything to do with Bigfoot. And <v Speaker 1>I could really relate to people and talk to them <v Speaker 1>about other situations and that that really helped out a lot. <v Speaker 1>Watching these shows will help out a lot too. If <v Speaker 1>it's hard for some people, I understand that. But you <v Speaker 1>can't live with this in your mind. Because after I <v Speaker 1>had my encounters, even though I was excited, I said, <v Speaker 1>I'm never gonna talk to anyone about this because I <v Speaker 1>already deal with like anxiety and stuff. They're just gonna <v Speaker 1>think I'm crazy, you know, I'm I can't talk to anyone, <v Speaker 1>So like, I held it in for like three months, <v Speaker 1>I think, and I couldn't take it. I found myself <v Speaker 1>like talking to people that didn't care about bigfoot, Like <v Speaker 1>I'd be at the gas station be like, have you <v Speaker 1>ever seen anything weird in the woods? You know, just <v Speaker 1>trying it into them or because after I was having <v Speaker 1>these encounters, it made me feel like everyone was having <v Speaker 1>them as far as like hunters and campers. I was <v Speaker 1>just like, oh, surely if they're here, you know this <v Speaker 1>guy that's like a big hunter that's always out there, <v Speaker 1>he's going to know about it. And I'd ask people <v Speaker 1>and they're like, right, I don't know what you're talking about. <v Speaker 3>Right. That's the other odd, odd aspect to it that <v Speaker 3>some people experience these things more than once, and other <v Speaker 3>people have never experienced anything, and they've been in the <v Speaker 3>perfect situations to experience it. So that's what indicates to <v Speaker 3>me that there could be some kind of spiritual connection. <v Speaker 3>And I don't know if you. <v Speaker 2>Was it. <v Speaker 3>Jeff Nadolni. I listened to a lot of the stories <v Speaker 3>that he has on his channel, and what he he's <v Speaker 3>made is that a lot of people who've struggled with <v Speaker 3>mental health or addiction to something seem to there seems <v Speaker 3>to be a higher correlation between those people and experiencing <v Speaker 3>these things. I don't know if that's really the case, <v Speaker 3>but I truly believe that there's some people who are <v Speaker 3>more open, just more susceptible to experiencing these things than <v Speaker 3>other people. May not be one hundred percent of the cases, <v Speaker 3>but I strongly. <v Speaker 1>Feel that, And yeah, it very well could be if <v Speaker 1>there is a spiritual element behind it. There could be <v Speaker 1>higher powers at work. And it says that we're in <v Speaker 1>spiritual warfare in our lives and it's a battle between <v Speaker 1>good and evil. But I read this book recently called <v Speaker 1>The Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson, and he talks about <v Speaker 1>like cabitual sin and negative thoughts and how Satan will <v Speaker 1>place thoughts in your mind and he doesn't know what <v Speaker 1>you're thinking, but he can place the inside your mind <v Speaker 1>and you have your thoughts, and then there's the Holy Spirit. <v Speaker 1>But basically, when you get these thoughts that say I'm <v Speaker 1>not good enough, I'll never be able to do this, <v Speaker 1>nobody likes me, I'll never be able to get this job, <v Speaker 1>you believe it, and that's what your life becomes. And <v Speaker 1>that's what Satan does. He comes to destroy you and <v Speaker 1>pretty much ruin you. So if you allow these negative <v Speaker 1>thoughts to take over your mind, you can really find <v Speaker 1>yourself in a dark place. And the Bible says to <v Speaker 1>take every thought captive and pretty much replace it with <v Speaker 1>the word of God. <v Speaker 2>And that's what he teaches in his books. <v Speaker 1>And I found it to be very beneficial because it <v Speaker 1>taught me a lot of things that I was doing <v Speaker 1>wrong in my life. Even though I'm a Christian, a <v Speaker 1>struggling Christian. I learned that there's a lot of things <v Speaker 1>that I was doing that allowed doorways to open up, <v Speaker 1>whether it's it was addictions, thought patterns, negative thought patterns <v Speaker 1>that I've created throughout so many years that I have <v Speaker 1>pretty much created pathways in my brain and as soon <v Speaker 1>as I wake up, my thoughts go down those paths. <v Speaker 1>And I had to straighten out that path and I'm <v Speaker 1>still not there, but I'm struggling. And another thing it <v Speaker 1>talks about is like playing with the occult Ouiji boards, <v Speaker 1>spirit guides, tarot cards, playing with pendulums or hypnosis or levitation, <v Speaker 1>anything that does not honor God, you can really open <v Speaker 1>up bad things. And I wonder about that because whenever <v Speaker 1>I was having my encounters, I was also having paranormal <v Speaker 1>activity and then seeing strange lights outside, and the paranormal <v Speaker 1>activity traumatize me. Like that's something that even though I <v Speaker 1>experienced it, like I'll never be able to think. Man, <v Speaker 1>that was good, Like I'm glad I experienced that, because <v Speaker 1>like knowing that there's just something evil inside your house <v Speaker 1>and there's nothing you can do about it will make <v Speaker 1>you feel hopeless. And the only good thing that came <v Speaker 1>out of it was that it strengthen my belief with God, <v Speaker 1>and I turned to him through any bad situations that <v Speaker 1>I have or just in my daily life. So I <v Speaker 1>feel like, if you're struggling, it's good to read scripture <v Speaker 1>and yeah, just it'll keep your mind busy. But also <v Speaker 1>it's very insightful and I don't know, it's just good <v Speaker 1>for the soul, right. <v Speaker 3>Yes, very much so. And the verse that says prey <v Speaker 3>without ceasing. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, that is so weird. Yeah, because I <v Speaker 1>have this card right here. <v Speaker 3>Oh my goodness. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, that. <v Speaker 1>Was the card that I read today. I got this <v Speaker 1>big stack. That's weird, you said that. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, I've been experiencing that a lot. Lately where <v Speaker 3>I will randomly think of think of some song that <v Speaker 3>we sing in Sunday school twenty five years ago, and <v Speaker 3>the very next day I read that scripture. What are <v Speaker 3>the chances that is? That's crazy? But the you know, <v Speaker 3>it is interesting. The more I've opened this door to <v Speaker 3>this very scary world, it has deepened my relationship with <v Speaker 3>God because who else are you going to turn to? <v Speaker 3>How else are you going to deal with this? And <v Speaker 3>to understand that the spiritual world is so live and present, <v Speaker 3>and that the world is run by the evil One? <v Speaker 3>And yeah, I took a lot of heart and I <v Speaker 3>started delving into scripture more after just a few months ago, <v Speaker 3>after I started digging into this, and I came across <v Speaker 3>Psalm ninety one, and that was, oh my goodness. It <v Speaker 3>was just like a drink, like a cool drink of <v Speaker 3>water when you're really thirsty. It says, whoever dwells in <v Speaker 3>the shelter of the Most High will rest in the <v Speaker 3>shadow of the Almighty. And then verse five, you will <v Speaker 3>not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow <v Speaker 3>that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in <v Speaker 3>the darkness, nor plague that destroys at midday, and so <v Speaker 3>for me it was a very clear like God is <v Speaker 3>the one you can rest in. How are you going <v Speaker 3>to You can't protect yourself from the evil spiritual forces <v Speaker 3>of this world without God, you know, and like put <v Speaker 3>on the full armor of God, you know. And the <v Speaker 3>word is scripture or sorry, the scripture is the sword <v Speaker 3>of God. So yeah, it doesn't get more clear than that. <v Speaker 3>If you want to be armed, you arm yourself with scripture. <v Speaker 3>You pray, you stay rooted in that. And interestingly enough, <v Speaker 3>I was listening to an interview today by a man <v Speaker 3>who has experienced paranormal activity his whole life. He's seen things, angels, demons, <v Speaker 3>and he that's my train of fact. Oh right. He <v Speaker 3>used to be terrified by it, but then once he <v Speaker 3>realized this is a gift. It's just I can see <v Speaker 3>these things. They don't have to control me, they don't <v Speaker 3>have to terrify me. And then he was able to <v Speaker 3>basically armor himself and not let those things control him <v Speaker 3>or for him to be afraid of them anymore, because <v Speaker 3>he just understood it was just like this, Okay, I <v Speaker 3>have this understanding. These things are here, but my God <v Speaker 3>is more powerful. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And when Adam and evade the apple. They lost <v Speaker 1>their grace with God basically, and they were anxious, they <v Speaker 1>were depressed, they were insecure, and they were separated by God. <v Speaker 1>And when we're born, we're born physically and spiritually dead. <v Speaker 1>So we have to find that way to Jesus to <v Speaker 1>be close to God again. And the only way to <v Speaker 1>do that is to stop sinning. And a lot of <v Speaker 1>people say, you know, God will forgive me for anything <v Speaker 1>I do. That is true, but you have to stop sinning. <v Speaker 1>And that's what I've struggled with the most. <v Speaker 2>So if you're. <v Speaker 1>Drinking a lot, or doing drugs or even little things. <v Speaker 1>Even being anxious all the time, which is something I <v Speaker 1>struggle with, is a sin. It's not that you're sinning, <v Speaker 1>but it's allowing negative thoughts to take over your mind <v Speaker 1>and it leads to bad decisions. So you know, I'm <v Speaker 1>guilty of a lot of this. So I'm not saying <v Speaker 1>I'm saying, right. <v Speaker 3>The best you can do is try, though. You try <v Speaker 3>the best that you can, and I think that's all <v Speaker 3>that is expected of you. And to know that, yes, <v Speaker 3>it takes our own physical self discipline and all of that, <v Speaker 3>but in the end, it's the grace of God. We <v Speaker 3>aren't doing any of this oner own. You can't. I <v Speaker 3>don't think you can just stop addiction or stop whatever, <v Speaker 3>you know, simple habits that you have. It is the <v Speaker 3>grace of God that allows you to do that. So <v Speaker 3>I think people who are trying so hard to do <v Speaker 3>it by themselves, you're only going to get so far. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And you know when you dive into the spiritual <v Speaker 1>side of it or the godly things. You know, people <v Speaker 1>click off the show and say, I don't believe in God. <v Speaker 1>But everyone is going to struggle at one point in <v Speaker 1>their life, and even the most hurt I don't know, <v Speaker 1>like the most skeptic of all of this will one <v Speaker 1>day beg God for forgiveness. I don't know. That's that's <v Speaker 1>how I feel. It says your adversary, the devil prows <v Speaker 1>around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. I <v Speaker 1>feel like that's true. I feel like we're pray if <v Speaker 1>we don't put on the armor of. <v Speaker 3>God, right, And you can be pray in more than <v Speaker 3>one ways. In more than one way, I think you <v Speaker 3>can be out in the woods and be prey to <v Speaker 3>some kind of predator, whether it's physical or spiritual. But <v Speaker 3>we are also pray to the devil when we're watching movies, <v Speaker 3>listening to music, doing anything that opens that door. I <v Speaker 3>won't go into a lot of details, but earlier this <v Speaker 3>year I was researching a Satanism because I thought, I <v Speaker 3>don't know much about this person and there's been a <v Speaker 3>lot of references to him, and I don't understand all this. <v Speaker 3>I just want to understand. So I was listening to <v Speaker 3>some stuff and in that time span, my son started <v Speaker 3>saying some really odd things that he we're very out <v Speaker 3>of character for him, and things that were a lot <v Speaker 3>more explicit, and he he had no anytime I was <v Speaker 3>listening to the stuff. It was completely separated, like there's <v Speaker 3>no chance at all that he heard or would even <v Speaker 3>understand what I was looking into. And so at the <v Speaker 3>time I was like, Okay, that's weird. And then another <v Speaker 3>thing happens. I'm thinking that's weird too, And then and <v Speaker 3>several things happened within the course of a week or two, <v Speaker 3>and I noted it down and it wasn't even until <v Speaker 3>a few months later I looked back on it with <v Speaker 3>this different perspective and realized, oh my goodness, it's not <v Speaker 3>that I was researching it because I was fascinated in <v Speaker 3>it and wanted to believe it. It was this is <v Speaker 3>a topic I want to understand more about, and just <v Speaker 3>by doing that, my son was exhibiting things that don't <v Speaker 3>don't make any sense. Apart from that, why would he <v Speaker 3>say those things? Why would he do that? And that's <v Speaker 3>never happened before or since when I stopped that, that'll stop. <v Speaker 3>He's so And he was only five at the time. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, I believe you. I know exactly what you mean. <v Speaker 1>And there was this one day I was in Mexico <v Speaker 1>at my dad's house and we were visiting family, and <v Speaker 1>I went into the market because I was home alone <v Speaker 1>that whole day, and I bought some scary movies, like <v Speaker 1>the Saw movies, The Ectressism of Emily Rose and some <v Speaker 1>other movies. And I went back home and was watching <v Speaker 1>them waiting for my family to get back. And it <v Speaker 1>was dark and the sun had went down. I was <v Speaker 1>watching this movie and I was halfway through the movie <v Speaker 1>and they were doing the extorcism on her. The Catholic <v Speaker 1>priest was and they were speaking Latin. Well, all of <v Speaker 1>a sudden, the power went out in the house was <v Speaker 1>pitch black, and I was like oh man, that's weird. <v Speaker 1>So I had to feel my way out of the house, <v Speaker 1>and I'm feeling the walls and I'm upstairs. So I'm <v Speaker 1>going down the stairs, feeling the walls as I'm going down, <v Speaker 1>and whenever I get to the front door, I can <v Speaker 1>see outside because there's a dust of dawn light out there. <v Speaker 1>And whenever I got out the front door, this cat <v Speaker 1>ran in front of me. It was a black cat, <v Speaker 1>like it was startled. His hair was like standing up <v Speaker 1>like something had freaked him out. So I got outside <v Speaker 1>and I was like, oh my god, it was just <v Speaker 1>a just a black cat. And I see this black <v Speaker 1>hole in the ground and I'm staring at it, like <v Speaker 1>what is that? And all of a sudden, this being <v Speaker 1>like stands up out of that hole, and it looked <v Speaker 1>like a mannequin and it was like three D like <v Speaker 1>ink black mannequin and it didn't have a face, and <v Speaker 1>I was staring at it face to face and fight <v Speaker 1>or flight kicked in and I took off running, and <v Speaker 1>it freaked me out. But I feel like watching that <v Speaker 1>movie opened up that door. <v Speaker 2>And I don't know what. <v Speaker 1>Happened, but I guess my only theory is whenever the <v Speaker 1>priest was doing the extorcism. I can't I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I can't remember what it's called. Catholics use it whenever <v Speaker 1>somebody's fully possessed. But it it pulled something out. I <v Speaker 1>don't know if it was on the land in me, <v Speaker 1>but it came out and I wasn't happy. But I <v Speaker 1>don't know what happened to it, because whenever I went back, <v Speaker 1>it wasn't there. <v Speaker 3>Oh, I'd be terrifying. How old were you? <v Speaker 1>I was probably a sophomore or a junior in high school. <v Speaker 2>Wow. <v Speaker 1>And yeah, I actually was at Ross is it called <v Speaker 1>Ross or Ross's whatever, the clothing store the other day <v Speaker 1>and I turned I turned it around and there was <v Speaker 1>a mannequin behind me, and it like it gave me <v Speaker 1>like PTSD. I felt like, like the guy off I <v Speaker 1>am legend whenever he sees the mannequins. <v Speaker 3>I felt like that was like, no, my goodness. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it tripped me out. But yeah, it was the <v Speaker 1>most one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had. <v Speaker 1>And I just don't like the paranormal And with doing <v Speaker 1>Bigfoot research, people pull out like spirit boxes and EMF <v Speaker 1>detectors and I used to do that, but now I <v Speaker 1>just get a bad feeling and I'm like, hey, put <v Speaker 1>that away, or I just try to tell them, hey, <v Speaker 1>this is going to open up doorways. Usually people say <v Speaker 1>you don't know what you're talking about. I'm all right, <v Speaker 1>I've been doing this forever and there's nothing I can <v Speaker 1>do about it, and I just try to be polite <v Speaker 1>about it. But things will happen if you mess with <v Speaker 1>that stuff. And I warn people, but they never listen <v Speaker 1>to me, and they always experience something, but they always say, well, <v Speaker 1>it was probably because of this. It wasn't because of me, <v Speaker 1>and there's just nothing I can. <v Speaker 3>Do, right, Yeah, because the rational brain doesn't it can't <v Speaker 3>comprehend it. Sometimes. I think your rational brain kicks in first, <v Speaker 3>and then when there's no other explanation, you either forget <v Speaker 3>about it or you assign it to something paranormal. But yeah, <v Speaker 3>it just speaks more too that some people have that <v Speaker 3>susceptibility and other people are a little more closed up <v Speaker 3>to it. They just don't experience that at all for <v Speaker 3>whatever reason, and that's really fascinating. But I would say <v Speaker 3>the only experience I've had with that was in dreams, <v Speaker 3>and it's hard to say. I mean, God, spoke through <v Speaker 3>dreams all the time, and I know people experience demonic <v Speaker 3>things through dreams, and there was a period in my <v Speaker 3>life through I would say high school and into college <v Speaker 3>where I had dreams of demonic presence where that complete <v Speaker 3>feeling of terror, you're paralyzed, you can't scream, you're trying <v Speaker 3>to move, And that happened less than a dozen times, <v Speaker 3>and then I haven't had one since. I'm praying God <v Speaker 3>that I never do because it's not a good experience. <v Speaker 3>But I I pray that I don't. I don't. I <v Speaker 3>don't have a curiosity for it. I believe it. I <v Speaker 3>don't have to experience it to know it's true, and <v Speaker 3>so I pray that I don't have to experience those things. <v Speaker 3>I guess I should be more open to what God <v Speaker 3>wants for me, but yeah, I don't. Yeah, I don't <v Speaker 3>want to. <v Speaker 1>Again, the power of prayer, we'll protect you from all that. <v Speaker 1>And if you're in a bad situation in your life, <v Speaker 1>and like with sinful habits, it can't happen even though <v Speaker 1>you're praying. So you just kind of have to get <v Speaker 1>away from whatever is going on in your life and <v Speaker 1>then you'll be able to overcome that with prayer, and <v Speaker 1>you know, prayer isn't something that's just going to fix <v Speaker 1>it right away. This is going to be something you <v Speaker 1>have to do the rest of your life. <v Speaker 3>Right Yeah, it's maintenance. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, absolutely. <v Speaker 1>And I guess where we're going with all of this <v Speaker 1>is bigfoot, maybe something more than what we believe and <v Speaker 1>not just flesh and blood. Just because you've seen a <v Speaker 1>flesh and blood creature with fur and it was walking <v Speaker 1>in our world does not mean that it's flesh and blood. <v Speaker 1>And there's many reasons why I think that, whether it's <v Speaker 1>the orbs, which you say your neighbors have experienced, the <v Speaker 1>cloaking that people talk about, the mind speak, where's the <v Speaker 1>bones at? Why do people follow tracks that just like disappear? <v Speaker 1>Why are we why are we having paranormal activity and <v Speaker 1>strange UFO activity on the same land. Man, There's so <v Speaker 1>much to it, really, it's hard to say. <v Speaker 2>I mean, the. <v Speaker 1>Giants in the Bible, the nephylum, just nobody can find <v Speaker 1>an answer. Even if you're one of the top dog <v Speaker 1>scientists and you've got a whole research crew, you're not <v Speaker 1>gonna be able to find find out what it is <v Speaker 1>or figure it out and why is the government not <v Speaker 1>telling us about this? <v Speaker 2>And that's I don't know. There's just so many questions. <v Speaker 3>Right, well, so a couple of responses to that. One <v Speaker 3>one thing that I don't want to forget is when <v Speaker 3>we pray, we also you know where two or more <v Speaker 3>are gathered in his name. So I think that having <v Speaker 3>the power of prayer within a group or the elders <v Speaker 3>of a church or that can be really helpful as well, <v Speaker 3>like that you're not just this isolated being off on <v Speaker 3>your own trying to wage the spiritual war, but you <v Speaker 3>need you need community and other believers. So I think <v Speaker 3>that's important. And then with I think the government keeps <v Speaker 3>us naive or ignorant because that's a way to get <v Speaker 3>control people. And I think the evil one deceives why <v Speaker 3>would we know the truth. They can't control us if <v Speaker 3>we know the truth, and so they deceive us. And <v Speaker 3>one thing that's come to mind for me over the <v Speaker 3>last few months is if you keep people in the dark, <v Speaker 3>you have this false sense of false sense of security <v Speaker 3>that what we see is what we get. This is <v Speaker 3>the world. We're safe. You go into the woods and <v Speaker 3>you just do your thing. You're safe. You trust the government, <v Speaker 3>You do what they tell you, you're safe, and it <v Speaker 3>divorces a church and state. So you don't really need religion. <v Speaker 3>What do you need religion for? Science explains everything. So <v Speaker 3>I think that by keeping us in the dark about <v Speaker 3>a lot of these things, it make us dependent on <v Speaker 3>the evil rulers, and we can't rebel against something that <v Speaker 3>we don't understand is actually going on. And I think <v Speaker 3>people would rise up and say, hey, this isn't right. <v Speaker 3>You can't do this or that, but we don't know <v Speaker 3>about it because. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, I agree with you. One percent says that <v Speaker 1>Satan rules the kingdoms of the world, and I think <v Speaker 1>it's true. I mean, we hear these rumors and I <v Speaker 1>don't know if this is true, could just be conspiracy. <v Speaker 1>The like people in high positions are worshiping Satan, and <v Speaker 1>even like people in Hollywood, and there's a lot of <v Speaker 1>secret symbolism that they're using, and I believe they are. <v Speaker 1>I mean, yeah, I believe that Satan can make you <v Speaker 1>rich and famous. <v Speaker 3>Mm hmm, yeah, And why wouldn't they. I mean, you <v Speaker 3>hear time after time of the celebrities saying I sold <v Speaker 3>my soul to the devil, and they say it in <v Speaker 3>a joking way that seems lighthearted, and it happens so <v Speaker 3>often you can't ignore that they're actually telling you they <v Speaker 3>sold their souls to the devil. And yeah, I think <v Speaker 3>that's where I started even dipping my pose into this <v Speaker 3>again because I was I grew up a Christian, went <v Speaker 3>to Christian college, and then I spent a good chunk <v Speaker 3>of time being I guess a self pronounced atheist and <v Speaker 3>then found myself coming back within the last couple of years. <v Speaker 3>And this topic is what really pushed me in head <v Speaker 3>first again. It's like, no, get back in there. You <v Speaker 3>need this. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, absolutely, And with this topic, it's just something <v Speaker 1>that can really take over your mind. And just like <v Speaker 1>paranormal activity, and this might be paranormal activity, you have <v Speaker 1>to seek the word of God. Find God, because I <v Speaker 1>don't know, there's a lot of atheists out there, people <v Speaker 1>that just don't believe in God, that are struggling with <v Speaker 1>mental health or traumatic events. And you'll find yourself like <v Speaker 1>taking medication or talking to a thing therapists and it <v Speaker 1>seems like nothing will work. You try to talk to <v Speaker 1>your family or friends and eventually they just don't want <v Speaker 1>to hear it. So you find yourself isolated. What else <v Speaker 1>are you going to do other than to study scripture <v Speaker 1>because in the end only you can save yourself. Well, <v Speaker 1>God can save you, but you have to do the <v Speaker 1>work right. <v Speaker 3>And I yes God all with God, all things are possible. <v Speaker 3>And people, Yeah, I one hundred percent believe that He <v Speaker 3>healed the lame and he rows people from the dead. <v Speaker 3>That is possible. But I think there are some Christians <v Speaker 3>who have this notion that, well, why do I need <v Speaker 3>anybody else's help? God should be able to just do <v Speaker 3>all this, And yes he can, but sometimes he doesn't. <v Speaker 3>And sometimes he puts tools like people and community and <v Speaker 3>therapists and coping skills. He puts him out there for <v Speaker 3>you to use and for you to say like, oh, no, <v Speaker 3>I don't need any of that. I'll I'll just use God. <v Speaker 3>But therapy can be a great tool that God can <v Speaker 3>work through you with therapy. He can work through you <v Speaker 3>with some of these things like trying to do it <v Speaker 3>on your own or isolating yourself. That's why I see <v Speaker 3>the benefit in getting involved in some kind of social <v Speaker 3>group who can support you, whether it's church based or not. <v Speaker 3>But to deal with this, you have to have that community. <v Speaker 3>You can't do it on your own. You shouldn't do <v Speaker 3>it on your own. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you have to find like minded people, positive people. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, and I'm so thankful for our neighbors because they <v Speaker 3>are both Christians. And it's interesting that our guy friend <v Speaker 3>came back to the faith also just about a year ago. <v Speaker 3>And so when I ask them, why are you still <v Speaker 3>going out in these woods. You're going out there hunting, <v Speaker 3>you're doing whatever, and he said, well, I'm not going <v Speaker 3>to be controlled by fear. And he has a strong faith. <v Speaker 3>Then he believes that. I mean, he's not completely unaware <v Speaker 3>and it's not like he's just going to be reckless <v Speaker 3>about it. But he respects nature, who respects the land. <v Speaker 3>He prays to God yours his silver cross necklace. And yeah, <v Speaker 3>I don't know. I do think that if you have <v Speaker 3>the faith the size of a mustard seed, you can <v Speaker 3>you can pray to God and these things will will happen. <v Speaker 3>And for some people that comes more naturally, and for <v Speaker 3>other people it's growing that faith. But it makes me <v Speaker 3>sad to hear about people who won't go in the <v Speaker 3>woods again, won't go hunting or doing the activities that <v Speaker 3>they use to love. It's it's completely understandable, but it <v Speaker 3>also doesn't have to be like that and getting some <v Speaker 3>really good mental health support and some spiritual support. <v Speaker 1>So you feel like it's safe for people with these <v Speaker 1>encounters to contact a therapist to talk about this or <v Speaker 1>do you think that can be dangerous? <v Speaker 3>I think I think you could go about it the <v Speaker 3>right way. I think you could. You could vet out <v Speaker 3>some therapists who may be more open to this. I <v Speaker 3>I personally, if I had an experience, I went to <v Speaker 3>just go to a therapists and say, hey, this is <v Speaker 3>what I experienced without having an understanding that they're on <v Speaker 3>the same page. So yeah, yeah, I know that there's <v Speaker 3>probably not it. I just I don't know. That's an <v Speaker 3>area I'm going to explore more so that I can <v Speaker 3>be more helpful to people. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And I mean it's just my personal belief the <v Speaker 1>mental health problems or traumatic issues is due to spiritual warfare, <v Speaker 1>and that's just my belief. <v Speaker 2>And I don't know, mm hmm. <v Speaker 1>There's just no way to go around it for me, <v Speaker 1>just because right, I mean, science doesn't have an answer <v Speaker 1>and the mind's so complex that I don't know mm hmmm. <v Speaker 1>We haven't truly figured it all out. <v Speaker 3>Yes, when your life is imbalance, when your physical body <v Speaker 3>is imbalance and healthy, when your spiritual mind is healthy <v Speaker 3>and imbalanced, you are not going to experience those kinds <v Speaker 3>of problems, those mental health issues, at least in the <v Speaker 3>same way. They'll be a lot more manageable. But yeah, <v Speaker 3>it's spiritual and it's also a lot of things in <v Speaker 3>your environment can influence your mental health, your your lifestyle, <v Speaker 3>what you eat, what we put into our body. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's a lot too, there really is. <v Speaker 1>I mean, it could just be being alone, experiencing something <v Speaker 1>that's unusual, negative people in your life, all sorts of things, <v Speaker 1>not like isolating yourself, negative thoughts. It could be an <v Speaker 1>accumulation of many things into one and it takes a <v Speaker 1>lot of work, right. <v Speaker 3>Man. Yeah, this really gives me thinking I should create <v Speaker 3>a list some help therapists who who are on the <v Speaker 3>same page. Who could you know people could access them <v Speaker 3>and some kind of directory. Not exactly sure how I <v Speaker 3>would go about that, but I'll get back to you. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and in the future, if we do come up <v Speaker 1>with the list, maybe we can put the therapist in <v Speaker 1>the descriptions or in the description and people can can <v Speaker 1>talk to them about their experiences, and you know that <v Speaker 1>might be more beneficial than just telling your story on <v Speaker 1>let's say, my channel, because you got thousands of eyes watching, <v Speaker 1>and if they're able to communicate with somebody personally and <v Speaker 1>behind closed doors. <v Speaker 2>That that might help a little more. <v Speaker 1>I do feel like since I have seen these creatures, <v Speaker 1>I'm able to help people cope with it because one <v Speaker 1>thing that I feel that helps them is assuring them like, <v Speaker 1>I believe you, like I've seen these things before, I <v Speaker 1>know they're out there, and don't worry about what other <v Speaker 1>people say. <v Speaker 2>You know what you encountered. <v Speaker 1>And that's always helped me because after I had these encounters, <v Speaker 1>I talked to one of my friends that used to <v Speaker 1>be my supervisor at the company that I used to <v Speaker 1>be at. He encountered these things and I told him. <v Speaker 1>I was like, hey, I seen them. I seen a <v Speaker 1>sasquatch because he told me about his encounter years before that, <v Speaker 1>and I was like, you know, maybe they're out there. <v Speaker 1>He told me the same thing. He's like, don't worry <v Speaker 1>about what other people think. You know what you've seen <v Speaker 1>and that's the only thing that matters. And that's that <v Speaker 1>helped me a lot. That stuck with MM hmm. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, there is a lot of power in sharing the story. <v Speaker 3>And for some people that's all they need, and for <v Speaker 3>other people they need a little bit more. Of course, <v Speaker 3>you can do things on your own to feel better, <v Speaker 3>but when you feel like you can't get past that, <v Speaker 3>reaching out to a therapist who maybe is Christian and <v Speaker 3>then they might be a little more open to Hey, <v Speaker 3>there's a spiritual side to things. And you know, personally, <v Speaker 3>as a therapist, I I know what schizophrenia looks like. <v Speaker 3>I know what hallucinations look like. If someone were to <v Speaker 3>come in and say they saw something like you, you <v Speaker 3>understand that this is not a diagnosis that involves hallucinations. <v Speaker 3>Like you can kind of tell when something is within <v Speaker 3>a mental health disorder and when something isn't. And so yeah, <v Speaker 3>I really think that their therapist out there who would <v Speaker 3>probably be a lot more open to this and could <v Speaker 3>be helpful even if they'd never experienced anything themselves or <v Speaker 3>this is a new field for them. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, No, I agree. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I believe even if you have mental health <v Speaker 1>issues that you're going through, if you've seen one of <v Speaker 1>these things, I believe you. Or even if you were <v Speaker 1>drinking a beer on the river, if you've seen one <v Speaker 1>of these things. I believe you, you know what I mean, <v Speaker 1>Just because you drink doesn't mean you start seeing sasquatch. <v Speaker 1>And I think that would be the only one that <v Speaker 1>maybe I would question if they got schizophrenia, you know <v Speaker 1>what I mean. Other than that, like if somebody's struggling <v Speaker 1>with you know, because I personally feel like a lot <v Speaker 1>of people that encounter these things have like anxiety or <v Speaker 1>some type of problem and they're like, no, people are <v Speaker 1>just gonna think I'm crazy. And that's not fair because <v Speaker 1>we all experience anxiety, and some people more severe than others. <v Speaker 2>That's just unfortunate. <v Speaker 1>It just depends on what you were exposed to, what <v Speaker 1>you went through, and you know, what you experienced when <v Speaker 1>you were a child or growing up you has a <v Speaker 1>deep impact on you whenever you grow up unfortunately. <v Speaker 3>Right, Yeah, it wires your brain to be anxious, it <v Speaker 3>wears your nervous system to be anxious, and there are <v Speaker 3>ways to get through that. It's not like you're destined <v Speaker 3>to just live with anxiety for the rest of your life. <v Speaker 3>There are a lot of things you can do to <v Speaker 3>rewire your brain and calm that nervous system down, and <v Speaker 3>you know, I've seen it all the time. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And I feel like if you have mental <v Speaker 1>health problems or addictions, like you're more susceptible to being <v Speaker 1>attacked by satan demons. And that's unfortunate because again, you know, <v Speaker 1>people aren't gonn believable. That guy drinks, so he's just <v Speaker 1>seeing things. But at the same time, they're gonna they're <v Speaker 1>gonna seek you. <v Speaker 3>Mm hmm, right, yeah, yeah. I this therapist that I <v Speaker 3>was talking about who also believes in the paranormal. All <v Speaker 3>I had to say was, you know, we've had some <v Speaker 3>kind of weird experiences in the woods by your farm, <v Speaker 3>and her face just looks lights up and she's like, oh, <v Speaker 3>like tell me more, you know. And so it's like <v Speaker 3>I knew right away. Okay, she's on the same page. <v Speaker 3>She knows, and then I felt completely comfortable going into <v Speaker 3>all of it. She's like, yeah, uh huh, okay, yep. <v Speaker 3>This is so I think it's important to find a <v Speaker 3>therapist who you can have that initial consultation with to <v Speaker 3>see if you're a good fit. And I don't know, <v Speaker 3>maybe maybe you'll find that person. And now with virtual therapy, <v Speaker 3>you have so much more access to therapists out there. <v Speaker 3>You can see anyone in your state. And there's also <v Speaker 3>this interstate compact that they is a new thing. I <v Speaker 3>have to look into which states. But used to be <v Speaker 3>if you're licensed in one state, you can only practice <v Speaker 3>in that state. But now they have this packed where <v Speaker 3>I could see clients in this or that state, and <v Speaker 3>so there's a number of states that are a part <v Speaker 3>of that, and so it opens it up even more. <v Speaker 3>You can expand that search. And I'll put this out there. <v Speaker 3>There's a website called psychology today dot com and it's <v Speaker 3>a search engine to find therapists and you can narrow <v Speaker 3>it down by all sorts of details that you want <v Speaker 3>to find in a therapist. And yeah, I think that <v Speaker 3>you can access any therapist in your state. It opens <v Speaker 3>up so much more possibility to finding someone who's the <v Speaker 3>right fit for you. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely, a person shouldn't have to deal with this alone. <v Speaker 1>And I'm lucky because I have this channel and that's <v Speaker 1>my therapy. I'm able to communicate with people and talk <v Speaker 1>with them. But you know a lot of people that <v Speaker 1>contact me at the end of the day after they're <v Speaker 1>done speaking with me and they share their story, they're <v Speaker 1>isolated and alone. You know, back to regular life for me. <v Speaker 1>You know, I'm able to talk about this all the time, <v Speaker 1>and that's what helps me. I think every day for <v Speaker 1>this channel, and it was it was a blessing. Then <v Speaker 1>it's actually it was actually a miracle because I would <v Speaker 1>pray really hard and I didn't have a job at <v Speaker 1>the time, and I said, God, please give me a <v Speaker 1>job that I enjoyed doing, and. <v Speaker 2>I didn't know what it was going to be. <v Speaker 1>Like two weeks later, I thought, Okay, what am I <v Speaker 1>going to do with these bigfoot encounters? <v Speaker 2>All right, I'm gonna write them down. <v Speaker 1>I'm going to put them up on a channel, and <v Speaker 1>I'm just gonna get them off my chest. I'm never <v Speaker 1>going to talk about it again. So I did that, <v Speaker 1>and all of a sudden people started contacting me. I <v Speaker 1>started doing podcasts. The farmer contacted me and said, you <v Speaker 1>have to get out here right now, and I said, <v Speaker 1>can I bring my video camera? He said, yeah, you <v Speaker 1>can record. <v Speaker 2>Whatever you want. <v Speaker 1>So I recorded it and it was actually a really <v Speaker 1>big film and the channel took off and when I <v Speaker 1>look back on it, I was like, oh my God, <v Speaker 1>God answered and it was like two weeks after I <v Speaker 1>prayed that really hard like like I prayed every day <v Speaker 1>for hours, like God, I don't know what to do. <v Speaker 1>And I didn't do that with the intentions of, oh, <v Speaker 1>I'm going to start a channel. I just did that <v Speaker 1>to get my encounters off my chest. I knew exactly <v Speaker 1>what I encountered. It was real, so I knew that <v Speaker 1>it would help other people and other people would have <v Speaker 1>the same experiences. But yeah, I seen the power of <v Speaker 1>God when I started this channel, right. <v Speaker 3>I think it's amazing that these channels exist because I <v Speaker 3>hear so many stories from twenty thirty years ago where <v Speaker 3>people say I didn't have any frame of reference. I <v Speaker 3>didn't have anyone to talk to. I didn't know these <v Speaker 3>things existed. And so people are coming out now and <v Speaker 3>able to talk about these things and giving a voice <v Speaker 3>to it. And I think that can be very healing <v Speaker 3>for a lot of people. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Absolutely. <v Speaker 1>And after I interview people that you know, a lot <v Speaker 1>of people tell me, Miguel, you're doing a really good thing. <v Speaker 1>God bless you, and it makes me feel good, like, man, <v Speaker 1>I'm doing I don't know if I'm doing God's work, <v Speaker 1>but God helped me to start this channel. And I <v Speaker 1>talked to a lady named Carol who's living in Alaska <v Speaker 1>and she's being tormented by these things. <v Speaker 2>But I talked to her about it. I was like, <v Speaker 2>do you think it's bad? <v Speaker 1>Do you think it's like a sin that I'm putting <v Speaker 1>all my work into the Bigfoot subject? Like what if <v Speaker 1>these things are even when she said, Miguel, no matter what, <v Speaker 1>you're doing a good thing because if these things are <v Speaker 1>out there, people need to know. Their kids are out <v Speaker 1>there playing, people's husbands are going out in the woods <v Speaker 1>and coming back, you know, walking through the woods at nighttime, <v Speaker 1>and people are disappearing. She's like, people need to know. <v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter if they're a demon or if it's <v Speaker 1>a flesh blood creature. <v Speaker 2>The people new in there. <v Speaker 3>I think, so right, that's a really good point. We <v Speaker 3>need to know that there are a lot of people <v Speaker 3>who aren't gonna believe it. It. Like my husband, he <v Speaker 3>doesn't want to believe it. I've been on this case <v Speaker 3>for a little while, and I think at least he's aware, <v Speaker 3>has a little bit more awareness. But you can't make <v Speaker 3>someone believe. They have to do it on their own terms. <v Speaker 3>But I do think a lot of people have uh <v Speaker 3>what do you call it? Converted or you know, they <v Speaker 3>they've believed because they've heard these stories and because of <v Speaker 3>the channel like you have. It's bringing awareness to something <v Speaker 3>that needs to be brought to light, and it's it is. <v Speaker 3>It's helping people. So how could something be bad if <v Speaker 3>it's if it's really helping. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Absolutely. <v Speaker 1>And I had a lot of experiences before my encounters, <v Speaker 1>and I was listening to Sasquatch chronicles for years and <v Speaker 1>even you know about like these creatures screaming at me <v Speaker 1>and charging me through the woods. I was I kept <v Speaker 1>writing it off like maybe that was a mountain lion. <v Speaker 2>I don't know what that was. <v Speaker 1>And once I seen them, I was like, Okay, these <v Speaker 1>things are real and that's what it took for me. <v Speaker 3>Like that's that's what he says that he's going to <v Speaker 3>have to experience at firsthand. And I pray that he doesn't. <v Speaker 3>I don't want him to necessarily, but I don't know. <v Speaker 3>As a therapist, I thank God every day for the <v Speaker 3>job that I have. I love it. I love helping people. <v Speaker 3>It's what I always wanted to do. I've never once <v Speaker 3>looked back and thought I should have done something else. <v Speaker 3>It's such a great privilege to be able to help <v Speaker 3>people live better lives and come through their difficulties. So <v Speaker 3>it is very rewarding. So I'm sure you feel that <v Speaker 3>all the time that people say that it was helpful <v Speaker 3>to share their story. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And a lot of times I don't really even <v Speaker 1>say much because when people start talking, they just get <v Speaker 1>going and I don't want to cut them off, and <v Speaker 1>I don't really get much to say. But sometimes I <v Speaker 1>jump in and I give my thoughts and it helps <v Speaker 1>people out. But I think just them being able to <v Speaker 1>talk and me being in an ear really helps them out. <v Speaker 3>Mm hmm. Yeah. And I've paid attention to your interview <v Speaker 3>style and it is helpful for you to say something <v Speaker 3>like oh, that must have been really difficult, or oh man, <v Speaker 3>this sounds scary, or even just naming it, affirming their feelings. <v Speaker 3>Naming it goes a long way. So even Paraphrasemala said, wow, <v Speaker 3>this is what happened. Oh man, it's as simple as that. <v Speaker 3>Sometimes people just want to hear that. <v Speaker 2>Absolutely. <v Speaker 1>I've been on other podcasts before before I ever started <v Speaker 1>my channel, and like it seemed like the podcast host <v Speaker 1>wanted to talk a lot, and like I'd start telling <v Speaker 1>my story and they just jump in and talk for <v Speaker 1>like thirty minutes and then like I never got to <v Speaker 1>finish my story. So like I remember that, Like that <v Speaker 1>sucked because they didn't even give me a chance to <v Speaker 1>talk and then they just ended the show. So like, <v Speaker 1>whenever I do my podcast, I'm like, don't try to <v Speaker 1>be the I don't know, the highlight of the show, <v Speaker 1>because this isn't about you, Miguel, this is about them. <v Speaker 1>And it does take a lot of listeners off, Like <v Speaker 1>Miguel didn't even say anything, He's just a statue. But <v Speaker 1>there's a reason for it. <v Speaker 3>Right. When I hear interviews where the interviewer talks too much, <v Speaker 3>I don't even want to listen to the rest. I <v Speaker 3>want to hear the person you're interviewing. I yeah, I <v Speaker 3>don't appreciate that much in an interviewer. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Like if you've seen a therapist, then you really <v Speaker 1>have something that you want to talk about or a <v Speaker 1>list of things, and they just keep cutting you off, right, <v Speaker 1>and just I don't know, I want to talk back <v Speaker 1>and forth. I think it's more important to let them <v Speaker 1>really talk and then jump in whenever. <v Speaker 2>You feel like there's a key moment. <v Speaker 1>But I don't know it's I'm sure with you, it's <v Speaker 1>difficult to gauge that sometimes like you feel the need <v Speaker 1>to jump in, sometimes you feel the need to listen. <v Speaker 3>Right, Yeah, Yeah, it's less talking because you can kind <v Speaker 3>of tell when people are tuning out. Well, it's like, okay, <v Speaker 3>back off a little bit. <v Speaker 2>Yeahah. <v Speaker 1>I feel like a little bit of information here and <v Speaker 1>there is is crucial because they're able to soak it <v Speaker 1>up more. But if you if you talk too much, <v Speaker 1>then it's it's too much to take in at all. <v Speaker 3>Yes, less is more, for sure. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, absolutely, but you know more than I do. Yeah, yeah, Okay, <v Speaker 2>what what. <v Speaker 1>Else do we need to cover? Do you want to <v Speaker 1>wrap it up? Or what do you think? What are <v Speaker 1>your thoughts? Do you have any questions for me? <v Speaker 3>Oh? Man, I feel like I could talk about this <v Speaker 3>for a long time, but I also need to get <v Speaker 3>my kids to bed. I mean we cover, we cover <v Speaker 3>a lot. I would love to hear more about your <v Speaker 3>your experiences, but we might need to save that for <v Speaker 3>another time. I know we bounced around a lot, but. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, well, I feel like it was important to talk <v Speaker 1>about scripture, and if you're up for it, I would <v Speaker 1>like to do a part two to talk about my encounters, <v Speaker 1>and I think it would be beneficial for my health <v Speaker 1>and other people can listen to it and maybe you <v Speaker 1>can provide some type of insight and. <v Speaker 2>I don't know, I'll be blessed if you do that. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, let's do it. <v Speaker 2>Okay. <v Speaker 1>Well, I appreciate your time today and everything you did, <v Speaker 1>and it really helped me out a lot, so God <v Speaker 1>bless you. And I really appreciate the work you do. <v Speaker 1>You're helping a lot of people out and it's a <v Speaker 1>good thing. <v Speaker 3>Oh, thank you. I appreciate it you as well. <v Speaker 1>All Right, Well, you have a great night and I'll <v Speaker 1>keep in touch with you. <v Speaker 3>Okay, sounds good. <v Speaker 2>Good night, all right, good night.
