<v Speaker 1>great wrestling, but boy did it have some head scratching results.

<v Speaker 1>twenty twenty two, early in the morning as I record
<v Speaker 1>this about nine am Eastern Standard time. But hey, that's
<v Speaker 1>a relevant to you depending on where you're at. But
<v Speaker 1>thank you everybody for listening. And I was going to
<v Speaker 1>do a review show last night. I was a little
<v Speaker 1>bit behind on watching. I wasn't watching minute by minute
<v Speaker 1>with everybody. I was actually hooked into Stranger Things. Stranger
<v Speaker 1>Things actually brought me out of the wrestling world. And
<v Speaker 1>I did end up finishing it by eleven thirty or
<v Speaker 1>so at night, So it was about half our forty
<v Speaker 1>five minutes behind everybody. So that's why I wasn't participating
<v Speaker 1>on Twitter or anything until late late in the night.
<v Speaker 1>And if you haven't seen Stranger Things.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>If you know, you know, right, iykyk. If you don't,
<v Speaker 1>you don't care, then let's just get into wrestling. But
<v Speaker 1>thank you everybody for listening, and we're going to get
<v Speaker 1>into the full money in the Bank results. And like
<v Speaker 1>I said at the open, it was a pay per view.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just gonna call it a pay per view right
<v Speaker 1>now because it just feels right to call it that.
<v Speaker 1>It was a pay per view that was really really
<v Speaker 1>good on the wrestling, Like you could put this pay
<v Speaker 1>per view up against any other pay per view at
<v Speaker 1>least in twenty twenty two and maybe even beyond, and say,
<v Speaker 1>like the wrestling in this was magnificent. The in ring
<v Speaker 1>was top notch. Obviously headlined this isn't News by the
<v Speaker 1>tag team match between the Street Profits and the USOS
<v Speaker 1>that was, I mean, maybe a match of the year candidate.
<v Speaker 1>It's easy to say when you it's fresh in your
<v Speaker 1>mind to say that we'll see if it stands the
<v Speaker 1>test of time. But definitely one of the best tag
<v Speaker 1>matches I can remember in recent memory. Just great that
<v Speaker 1>the crowd in Vegas loved it. The fight Forever Chance,
<v Speaker 1>I haven't heard that in a while, really good, and
<v Speaker 1>the announcers obviously put it over really well. Corey Graves
<v Speaker 1>and Michael Cole really sold it nicely, and I think
<v Speaker 1>they genuinely felt it was as great as the fans did.
<v Speaker 1>It was amazing that tag team match. And we'll dive
<v Speaker 1>into that. We're going to dive into the fact that hey, Theory,
<v Speaker 1>Theory won the money in the bank. What now, we'll
<v Speaker 1>get into that. I'm really not happy about that, and
<v Speaker 1>it's not because I don't think Theory is a future
<v Speaker 1>champion and that Vince truly is bringing under him him
<v Speaker 1>under his wing, and it's not just storyline on TV
<v Speaker 1>that it is truly what he's doing, and that's obviously
<v Speaker 1>what's happening here. And so we're gonna we're gonna dive
<v Speaker 1>into that little gem in just a couple of minutes too.

<v Speaker 1>time SummerSlam was in July. It doesn't feel right. It's
<v Speaker 1>like there's a glitch in the matrix. Something's wrong. It
<v Speaker 1>feels like it should be mid August or the third
<v Speaker 1>week of August, not the last week of July. It's
<v Speaker 1>something's wrong, but it is what it is right now,
<v Speaker 1>and we are living in the matrix. So let's play
<v Speaker 1>the game and it's July thirtieth, and it is headlined
<v Speaker 1>by brock Lesnar Roman reigns for the last time. So
<v Speaker 1>that's the one thing we can all hang our hat on.
<v Speaker 1>It's the last time or so they say of brock
<v Speaker 1>Lesnar versus Roman Reigns and a last man standing match. Hey, well,
<v Speaker 1>I think unfortunately we all know the outcome of that one,
<v Speaker 1>as brock Lesron just gets brought back to lose and
<v Speaker 1>lose and lose and lose. So that'll be the build
<v Speaker 1>for the next three and a half weeks, four weeks
<v Speaker 1>as yeah, four weeks as we get towards SummerSlam, we
<v Speaker 1>have a lot of time to talk about that. But

<v Speaker 1>And they opened with the women's Money in the Bank
<v Speaker 1>ladder match, and I have to say, I thought it
<v Speaker 1>was a I thought it was.
<v Speaker 3>A good match.
<v Speaker 1>The women really put it all out there. Do I
<v Speaker 1>think it was as good as the men's No, I don't.
<v Speaker 1>But for all things considered, when you look at women's
<v Speaker 1>wrestling and sometimes where it is and the results, you get,
<v Speaker 1>this is this is This was a good match. Now,
<v Speaker 1>there were some kind of weird spots, ones that really
<v Speaker 1>kind of make you hold your breath to with Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch doing that ladder spot on Oscar who was laying
<v Speaker 1>horizontally on the ladder on the outside of the ring,
<v Speaker 1>and Becky doing her like butt splash that. I mean
<v Speaker 1>she she had to have cracked one of Oscar's ribs.
<v Speaker 1>I mean it looked, it looked very unsafe. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you could have just done a splash or something. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what she was going for there. It was
<v Speaker 1>very very weird and I just I don't understand the
<v Speaker 1>need for that, and it's super high risk for what
<v Speaker 1>I mean, there's no margin for error.
<v Speaker 3>I didn't hate the spot. I just go, what was that? Right?
<v Speaker 3>You look at that, You're like, what what was that? Uh?
<v Speaker 1>And Oscar seemed to be in genuine pain as understand
<v Speaker 1>it understandably she was. But anyway, outside of that, you know,
<v Speaker 1>we had some weird spots between Oscar and Lynch kind
<v Speaker 1>of throughout the match, but we had Lynch dive off
<v Speaker 1>the ladder and Morgan bounce off the rope, which ended
<v Speaker 1>up being the determining maneuver for the victory for live Morgan,
<v Speaker 1>who did win. Now, I called Becky Lynch to win.
<v Speaker 1>She didn't, so I lose. Live Morgan was a good
<v Speaker 1>candidate to also win this because she's the sentimental favorite.
<v Speaker 1>She's the one that hasn't won the belt yet. As
<v Speaker 1>they said on air, I think Corey Grave said, always
<v Speaker 1>the bridesbaid, never the bride, And that's been the case
<v Speaker 1>for Live Morgan for many years. Seven eight years she's
<v Speaker 1>been with WWE. Now they can stop putting things on
<v Speaker 1>her resume on screen saying she loves to play video
<v Speaker 1>games and has been a fan of WWE her entire life.
<v Speaker 1>That's literally what they put on screen a few weeks
<v Speaker 1>ago on Raw. It was embarrassing, I mean, and people
<v Speaker 1>are saying to me, I made a TikTok about this
<v Speaker 1>where I said and I pointed it out where you
<v Speaker 1>know how sometimes the wrestlers come out, they put the
<v Speaker 1>graphics on the screen with their accomplishments or things they've
<v Speaker 1>done during their career, whether or not people really read
<v Speaker 1>them or not. As another story, They don't flash it
<v Speaker 1>for very long, but when it's on screen you typically
<v Speaker 1>see like two time champion, Royal rumble win or whatever.
<v Speaker 1>All they could come up with for Live Morgan was
<v Speaker 1>that she was a lifelong WWE fan and she loves
<v Speaker 1>to play video games. I'm not kidding, And people are like, well,
<v Speaker 1>she what accomplishments she has, Well, she hasn't done she's
<v Speaker 1>never been championed all she Okay, well, you can't put
<v Speaker 1>how long she's been in WWE, signed with WWE in
<v Speaker 1>twenty fifteen, whatever it was, you know, member of the
<v Speaker 1>former member of the Riot squad. I mean, there's things
<v Speaker 1>you could say, like has had X amount of victories.
<v Speaker 1>Why not just say she's had this many victories keep
<v Speaker 1>out the losses. Of course, I'm not gonna put that
<v Speaker 1>on there, but I don't want to hear it that
<v Speaker 1>she hasn't accomplished anything. If only being Women's champion, if
<v Speaker 1>that's the only accomplishment, then you're not gonna have much there.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if winning the Royal Rumble or only being
<v Speaker 1>Women's Champion is something you can put there, then that's
<v Speaker 1>kind of an unfair standard and it's also a little
<v Speaker 1>bit deceiving that you haven't actually achieved anything. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, it was super embarrassing and just ridiculous. I
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't even put that for somebody that just debuted.
<v Speaker 3>I wouldn't.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't even put that on somebody that just came up.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care if they just you know, came up
<v Speaker 1>from wherever, Like they didn't even go to NXT. At
<v Speaker 1>least put their previous accomplishments former I don't know, track
<v Speaker 1>and field, I don't know whatever, Like just put something
<v Speaker 1>in there, except they play video games.
<v Speaker 3>Is that would suddenly qualifies you. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not kidding guys like this. This was ridiculous. But anyway,
<v Speaker 1>see how quickly I get off the damn track. This
<v Speaker 1>was a decent to good match. Now people were behind Live.
<v Speaker 3>They liked Live.
<v Speaker 1>They also really liked Becky Lynch, really liked Becky Lynch
<v Speaker 1>like and Becky Lynch came out. She was the very
<v Speaker 1>first person on the show, very first person to come out.
<v Speaker 1>It's interesting they did that because that spot for somebody
<v Speaker 1>coming out at the beginning of the show is usually
<v Speaker 1>reserved for a babyface to get the crowd going. It's,
<v Speaker 1>you know, the crowd is at its freshest, at presumably
<v Speaker 1>its highest level of energy because it's the beginning of
<v Speaker 1>the show, and they gave it to Becky Lynch. Interesting
<v Speaker 1>that they did that. Normally don't do that. Now she
<v Speaker 1>is the biggest star in the match. Yes, but you
<v Speaker 1>don't want the crowd starting off booing. Usually it's not
<v Speaker 1>a good field of the show. The tone, all that
<v Speaker 1>stuff that Vince loves.
<v Speaker 3>It just was interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Now do I think that this is a sign Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch could be turning Babyface again? I would give it
<v Speaker 1>a chance. Yeah, because they also haven't changed Becky Lynch's
<v Speaker 1>music either. They've left it the same Babyface music that
<v Speaker 1>the fans have just Pavlovian response to, where they just
<v Speaker 1>they cheer for her because they love the music. They
<v Speaker 1>still respect Becky Lynch, and she's not champion anymore, and
<v Speaker 1>she's entertaining and she's really good in the ring. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>there's a lot to like about Becky and there's not
<v Speaker 1>a lot of reasons to dislike her other than okay,
<v Speaker 1>she wears ridiculous outfits. Well so does Seth rollins and
<v Speaker 1>he gets cheered. You know, a tire alone isn't gonna
<v Speaker 1>dictate what the crowd does. So back to this match,
<v Speaker 1>Live wins and the crowd likes it and Becky Lynch.
<v Speaker 1>The good thing about Becky Now, I know there's other
<v Speaker 1>women in the match that I'm kind of ignoring not
<v Speaker 1>on purpose, but the story also here will be Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch's continued downward spiral where she continues to lose matches
<v Speaker 1>and she's saying she's hit rock bottom, and she continues
<v Speaker 1>to find new lows. Now it's not as if she
<v Speaker 1>won the briefcase and then was unsuccessfully cashed in. That
<v Speaker 1>would have been, I think, also kind of fun. But
<v Speaker 1>the story here was obviously Live Morgan, but also Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch going into another tantrum and seeing her devolve into
<v Speaker 1>this just insane, kind of just unhinged Becky Lynch.
<v Speaker 3>I'm loving that.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I want to see her continue to go
<v Speaker 1>on a losing streak, not because I don't like the character,
<v Speaker 1>but because I want to see where the character can
<v Speaker 1>go with this continued losing streak and see how far
<v Speaker 1>like what's the endgame? That's what I want to see.
<v Speaker 1>I want to see Becky Lynch continue to lose, continue
<v Speaker 1>to come out there and say no, this is my opportunity,
<v Speaker 1>no one's stealing it from me, and then lose that
<v Speaker 1>match and then say the next thing, the same thing
<v Speaker 1>next week, and continue to just go down and down
<v Speaker 1>and down. What's the basement for Becky Lynch because that
<v Speaker 1>ultimately would I would imagine dictate a character change for
<v Speaker 1>her too.
<v Speaker 3>So I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I'm I'm on board for Becky Lynch continuing to lose
<v Speaker 1>simply for the interest of character development. Now we had
<v Speaker 1>Alexa Bliss in this match. I think, sadly for Alexa Bliss,
<v Speaker 1>the moment we'll remember the most about Alexa Bliss was
<v Speaker 1>not the women's money in the bank ladder match. Oh no, No,
<v Speaker 1>it was her promoting the WWE Capitol one credit card.
<v Speaker 1>That was by far the most memorable moment for Alexa
<v Speaker 1>Bliss anyway, on the on the on the on the
<v Speaker 1>pay per view and people, and I love it. I'm
<v Speaker 1>so glad they did it. And they didn't tune out
<v Speaker 1>the audio from the live crowd because the live crowd
<v Speaker 1>wanted nothing to do with it. I think they made
<v Speaker 1>a mistake when you look back Hindsight's twenty twenty that
<v Speaker 1>they they left the audio from the live crowd in
<v Speaker 1>that particular particular segment because I think they imagine that
<v Speaker 1>they might cheer or just say nothing, and the crowd
<v Speaker 1>bowed pretty good, and they rightfully did. And I'm very
<v Speaker 1>proud of Vegas to boo this because they're taking somebody
<v Speaker 1>that the fans have been so they've been really behind her,
<v Speaker 1>especially during the whole bray Wyatt segment, the whole bray
<v Speaker 1>Wyatt's I guess alliance that she had for a while.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, we'll talk about bray Wyatt too. He didn't
<v Speaker 1>appear at the event, I know, but there's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of speculation based on that little film we saw, so
<v Speaker 1>we'll talk about that too. I didn't forget, but Becky
<v Speaker 1>Lynch here or rather Alexa Bliss got a Capital one
<v Speaker 1>credit card spot where she was with the doll. That
<v Speaker 1>also no one wants to see anymore. Like, if you're
<v Speaker 1>gonna be Alexa Bliss, get rid of the effing doll.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we're done with the doll. Just cut the cord.
<v Speaker 1>No one's buying Lily dolls on w shop dot com.
<v Speaker 1>If they're keeping Lily around just to try to create
<v Speaker 1>more merchandise sales, I could be wrong, and if I am,
<v Speaker 1>I get it from a business perspective to keep her around,
<v Speaker 1>but I'd imagine they're probably not selling a whole lot
<v Speaker 1>of Lily dolls, you know, unless they wink on their
<v Speaker 1>own or something. So This to me is it was
<v Speaker 1>an embarrassing segment for Alexa. She did what she could.
<v Speaker 1>She always goes all in. I'll give her credit on that.
<v Speaker 1>And this is not an indictment on Alexa herself Lexi Kaufman.
<v Speaker 1>It's a indictment on Creative and Vince to think this
<v Speaker 1>was a smart move to take somebody that the fans
<v Speaker 1>respect and want to see move up and actually get
<v Speaker 1>a prominent, consistent in ring spot and consistent storyline they
<v Speaker 1>can sink their teeth into. And instead we get a
<v Speaker 1>Capital one credit card segment with a doll no one
<v Speaker 1>wants to see. Yeah, thank you Vegas for saying loud
<v Speaker 1>and proud to WWE. This is stupid. This is from
<v Speaker 1>a creative standpoint for Alexa, this is the opposite of
<v Speaker 1>way when we want her to see her in our
<v Speaker 1>infomercials for WWE right after her match. You know, it
<v Speaker 1>was just god awful. I mean again, no, no hit
<v Speaker 1>on Lexi Kaufman. Like she's doing what she is told,
<v Speaker 1>you know, and she does a great job with everything
<v Speaker 1>she's she's given, and she has a very believable presence
<v Speaker 1>about her. She doesn't feel like she's winking and nodding
<v Speaker 1>to things. She just goes all in and I respect that,
<v Speaker 1>but man bad move by WWE bad. Also, if I
<v Speaker 1>wasn Alexa Alexi, I'll just call her Alexa. I'm not
<v Speaker 1>gonna be with calling her real name. With Alexa, I
<v Speaker 1>would say to creative, can we modify my music? It
<v Speaker 1>sounds like she just she's got the most generic royalty
<v Speaker 1>free music. It's like if I did a Google search
<v Speaker 1>for royalty free music and I was like, hey, give
<v Speaker 1>me the most. Just kind of give me a generic
<v Speaker 1>little rock song that's that's appealing to women. Yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>that's why it came up with it. Does anybody else
<v Speaker 1>even know Alexa Bliss's new song? It's not catchy, it's generic.
<v Speaker 1>There's nothing to it. It's not exciting. If she's a
<v Speaker 1>babyface then she is right now, anyway, can we modify
<v Speaker 1>her music a bit, like do something to it, spice
<v Speaker 1>it up, add something. It's just like nothing.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not a fan of her new music. I would
<v Speaker 1>have just kept her previous Why not. If you're just
<v Speaker 1>gonna go back to the to Alexa's original character before
<v Speaker 1>she became part to the Fiend, then go back to
<v Speaker 1>that fine, it was way more appealing. And that's also
<v Speaker 1>kind of an issue with most of the women's music.
<v Speaker 3>No one's really.
<v Speaker 1>Brought this up, and I'm just thinking about it, so
<v Speaker 1>that by default makes it a good idea. But for real,
<v Speaker 1>I think the women's division as a whole, at least
<v Speaker 1>the women in this match, outside of Becky Lynch and
<v Speaker 1>Osca do not have distinctive entrance music. Now, is this
<v Speaker 1>going to make or break a character in the long term? No,
<v Speaker 1>but entrance music is extremely important. It gets the fans excited.
<v Speaker 1>It's part of your presentation, a big part of your presentation.
<v Speaker 1>And can anybody tell me, like the differences between Raquel Rodriguez,
<v Speaker 1>Lacy Evans, Shatzi and Live Morgan and Alexa Bliss's music.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry, Live Morgan does have the little tune at
<v Speaker 1>the beginning, so I'll give her that that's distinctive. But Raquel, Lacey,
<v Speaker 1>Shatzi and Alexa can anybody tell me the differences between
<v Speaker 1>them right off the bat, I mean, without listening to them. No,
<v Speaker 1>but you know immediately what Becky sounds like, You know
<v Speaker 1>immediately what Oscar sounds like. You know immediately with Live
<v Speaker 1>Morgan sound like I didn't mean go on a side
<v Speaker 1>rant there, but I think music it's something being overlooked
<v Speaker 1>right now. And if I was Alexa especially, I would say,
<v Speaker 1>can we find something different? This is not catching on.
<v Speaker 1>It's generic and it's boring, you know, especially for somebody
<v Speaker 1>the status of Alexa Bliss. Who, boy, I'd love to
<v Speaker 1>put true serum in her.
<v Speaker 3>I really would.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, we'll get to live cat lives cash in later,
<v Speaker 1>but I'm trying to follow what's going on here on
<v Speaker 1>the pay per view side of things, in order the
<v Speaker 1>United States Championship theory versus Bobby Lashley. The crowd here
<v Speaker 1>was really behind Lashly in a way that I was
<v Speaker 1>surprised at that they were really behind Bobby. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>not complaining. I think that's it's awesome. Bobby Lashley is
<v Speaker 1>a guy that is he's the guy is a superhuman.
<v Speaker 1>I mean he's the definition of machine. I mean he
<v Speaker 1>is the definition. I mean he's like directly from Skynet
<v Speaker 1>or something. There's a terminator reference for you, but he is.
<v Speaker 1>He's a guy that is just he's looked the same
<v Speaker 1>to be able to maintain the physique he's had for
<v Speaker 1>fifteen years. You have to be, I mean, is something
<v Speaker 1>beyond human you have to be the guy is crazy.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, he's not excellent on the mic he's improved,
<v Speaker 1>certainly improved, and I'll give him that on the microphone
<v Speaker 1>to a respectable level. So that's great for him, But
<v Speaker 1>in ring, I don't think we really recognize that he's
<v Speaker 1>not just a power guy. That Bobby Lashley is a
<v Speaker 1>guy that can kind of do the flips and flops
<v Speaker 1>and flies, especially when you have a great opponent like Theory.
<v Speaker 1>Now I'm not saying Lashley does four fifty splashes, but
<v Speaker 1>he more coordinated than we think he is. Yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>look at a guy because he's so jacked, and it's
<v Speaker 1>taken time out of our at least for me, taking
<v Speaker 1>time to rewire my mind that not all guys that

<v Speaker 1>wrestle the way that he looks, which is a compliment
<v Speaker 1>to him because he's so versatile in the ring. Now,
<v Speaker 1>this match was really good. I mean it exceeded my expectations. Again,
<v Speaker 1>the theme here is great wrestling, questionable results. That's kind
<v Speaker 1>of the tagline for this pay per view, But this
<v Speaker 1>to me was one of the matches that it was
<v Speaker 1>a shining star of the show. It wasn't the match
<v Speaker 1>of the night, but definitely, you know, top three, and
<v Speaker 1>it was really good. Now as I'm reading, because I
<v Speaker 1>don't want to forget some of the highlights here, it
<v Speaker 1>said that Theory excelled as his smarmy self, drawing booze
<v Speaker 1>from the audience and Lashley's power spots and included, oh
<v Speaker 1>that's right, that catch that he made into a military
<v Speaker 1>press Are you effing kidding me? Even Corey Graves was like, yo,
<v Speaker 1>what who is this guy? And it's it's so impressive
<v Speaker 1>because it was a smooth catch and to catch a
<v Speaker 1>guy the way that Lashley did And if you guys,
<v Speaker 1>you guys have to know what spot I'm talking about
<v Speaker 1>right where Theory was jumping off of the I think
<v Speaker 1>it was a second rope and it was from the
<v Speaker 1>outside of the ring and he caught Theory in a
<v Speaker 1>military press position.
<v Speaker 3>How the hell you?
<v Speaker 1>I mean in the control that he had with Theory,
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't there was no sloppiness. It was a perfect
<v Speaker 1>catch and the can muscle control and strength you have
<v Speaker 1>to have to do that. It's it's it's crazy. So
<v Speaker 1>props to Bobby Lashley, and you know, props to Theory.
<v Speaker 1>I have nothing against the at all, even though I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to crap on the decision which I've already given
<v Speaker 1>you guys about money and the men's money in the bank.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that that that Theory himself is in
<v Speaker 1>a position he shouldn't be in. I really like where
<v Speaker 1>he's at and I like the fact that he has
<v Speaker 1>shown himself here. And at the end of this match,
<v Speaker 1>now Bobby Lashley did win. He got the hurt lock
<v Speaker 1>and we had Theory tap out, and I said, okay,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I'm thinking this is a guy that they
<v Speaker 1>have high hopes for and they had him lose to Lashly.
<v Speaker 3>No shame in that.
<v Speaker 1>And it's the the slogan of or the I guess,
<v Speaker 1>the perception or the goal of winning while you're losing,
<v Speaker 1>or I guess being able to win even when you
<v Speaker 1>lose a match. That means when you lose, fans still
<v Speaker 1>elevate you higher in their minds. The loss is deodorized
<v Speaker 1>by how great you did in the match, right, And
<v Speaker 1>that's what I looked at in this. I said, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>theory lost was I actually thought he would go on
<v Speaker 1>a longer run with the United States Championship.
<v Speaker 3>But I'll get to why I don't.
<v Speaker 1>I'm I'm not glad, but I understand why they.
<v Speaker 3>Took it off him.
<v Speaker 1>So it took an off theory. Bobby Lashley is the
<v Speaker 1>United States Champion, and I don't have a problem with that,
<v Speaker 1>and I understand why they did it. And when he lost,
<v Speaker 1>I said, hey, this is a win and a loss.
<v Speaker 1>This is a textbook example of how you win when
<v Speaker 1>you lose. And I think that they did that perfectly.
<v Speaker 1>I said, okay, he's just taking a step back a bit,
<v Speaker 1>but it's really an elevation. The goal in any match
<v Speaker 1>in the perfect world, both guys both women are elevated,
<v Speaker 1>no matter who wins or loses. That's in the minds
<v Speaker 1>of fans, that should be the goal. And they did
<v Speaker 1>this to a t. Textbook doesn't always happen at all.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you have squash matches and things like that,
<v Speaker 1>but like this, this was perfect, a perfect example. And
<v Speaker 1>I said, okay, cool, they're still elevating. I mean, even
<v Speaker 1>though he lost. But I also in the back of
<v Speaker 1>my mind thought, hmm, they took the belt off him,
<v Speaker 1>Is this really a demotion or a promotion? And I
<v Speaker 1>thought about that, not to say that I know, I
<v Speaker 1>knew he was going to be a part I didn't.
<v Speaker 1>I had no clue. I didn't think they were going
<v Speaker 1>to do that. I did not think they're going to
<v Speaker 1>put theory in the money to make ladder match. I
<v Speaker 1>had no clue. So I'm not going to pretend I did.
<v Speaker 1>But I thought to myself, Hm, you know, sometimes taking
<v Speaker 1>the belt off of a guy is a promotion because
<v Speaker 1>that means they're taking him they're taking him out of
<v Speaker 1>you know, level two, and they're putting him.
<v Speaker 3>Up to level one.
<v Speaker 1>You know that's or level three, depending on how you
<v Speaker 1>rank it. But you know what I'm saying, sometimes removing
<v Speaker 1>a guy, even though he loses the belt, is a
<v Speaker 1>way to promote him. You see that a lot of NXT.
<v Speaker 1>When guys lose the belt that the NXT Championship, a
<v Speaker 1>lot of people go, oh, he's getting promoted to the
<v Speaker 1>main roster, right, So it was kind of that where
<v Speaker 1>they wanted to elevate him further so he could get
<v Speaker 1>out of the United States Championship picture. But I also
<v Speaker 1>think that lastly, as the United States champion, he's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of fun. I mean, this was a win win
<v Speaker 1>all the way around, really when you think about it. Lastly,
<v Speaker 1>and Theory put on an excellent match. Both men are
<v Speaker 1>elevated no matter who won or lost. That Lastly, as
<v Speaker 1>champion is fun. He's deserving him. But the crowd was
<v Speaker 1>super behind him, and you get Theory being able to
<v Speaker 1>move to the next level. All good, so let's move on.
<v Speaker 1>But I really enjoyed this match. I thought it was
<v Speaker 1>a solid B plus all right. Then we get the
<v Speaker 1>women's championship match of Bianca Bellair versus Carmela, and reading
<v Speaker 1>the summary of this so I don't forget anything. They
<v Speaker 1>pieced together a short but solid match. Both women landed
<v Speaker 1>impactful offense, and the entire match was clean. Bel Air
<v Speaker 1>showed off her wicked athleticism with power bombs and backflips,
<v Speaker 1>and Carmela had no problem drawing booze from the audience.
<v Speaker 1>And then Carmela postmatch attacked And that tells you either
<v Speaker 1>continuing this feud whether you like it or not. So
<v Speaker 1>this was fine. It actually was a little bit better
<v Speaker 1>than I thought it would be because I don't look
<v Speaker 1>at Carmela as a particularly excellent wrestler when you look
<v Speaker 1>at the other field of field of women. But hey,
<v Speaker 1>Carmela has shown me that she's not just a divas
<v Speaker 1>at least in this match, not just a Diva's era leftover,
<v Speaker 1>even though her gimmick actually embodies the exact problem with
<v Speaker 1>the Diva's era and prior to that, which was just
<v Speaker 1>sexualizing women. You have a woman who is just all
<v Speaker 1>about her looks and that's her entire gimmick. And that's
<v Speaker 1>how a lot of the audience per creative looked at
<v Speaker 1>the women, especially in the Attitude era, and kind of
<v Speaker 1>lingered into the ruth of suggression, Eira and the PG
<v Speaker 1>era until the women's movement happened. So Carmela unfortunately is
<v Speaker 1>super shallow in her development because she's just taking everything
<v Speaker 1>that was wrong with what the women's wrestling was prior
<v Speaker 1>and saying this is my gimmick. Now look at me,
<v Speaker 1>look at my body, like, look at how beautiful I am.
<v Speaker 1>That's the problem and that's the issue I have mostly
<v Speaker 1>with Carmela. Now, as far as this goes in terms
<v Speaker 1>of the moves and everything else, and the actual match itself,
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was really good. Oh maybe not really good,
<v Speaker 1>but but fine. I thought this match was fine. I'd
<v Speaker 1>give it a you know, a B minus C plus.
<v Speaker 1>I mean in terms of what Bianca is capable of.
<v Speaker 1>And also when you look at and it's not fair too,
<v Speaker 1>but when you compare it to what could have been
<v Speaker 1>with Rhea Ripley, yeah, it's it's it maybe takes it
<v Speaker 1>down a half a great or two just because of
<v Speaker 1>the fact that you know what kind of matched you
<v Speaker 1>probably we're gonna get with Rihea and Bianca. But still,
<v Speaker 1>you know, I have not you know, Carmela was good
<v Speaker 1>in the ring. She held up her end and she lost,
<v Speaker 1>but she also attacked Bianca at the end and after
<v Speaker 1>the KOD and she is now apparently continuing this program
<v Speaker 1>with Bianca. So I hope that doesn't happen because I'm
<v Speaker 1>ready for Bianca and Rhea. If Ria is ready. All right,
<v Speaker 1>let's get to it. The USOS versus the Street Profits
<v Speaker 1>in a undisputed Tag team Championship match.
<v Speaker 3>Let me read.
<v Speaker 1>I know people hate this because you're you're lazy, you
<v Speaker 1>don't do your own analysis.
<v Speaker 3>Well here's the thing.
<v Speaker 1>I don't write a whole summary. I'm not gonna. I
<v Speaker 1>did enough papers in college and in high school, like
<v Speaker 1>hundreds of papers. Probably, I'm not gonna. I'm kind of
<v Speaker 1>like allergic to writing long text just because it gives
<v Speaker 1>me PTSD from all the papers that we had to
<v Speaker 1>do in college and stuff, you know, which I haven't
<v Speaker 1>been in college.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like, I don't how many thirteen.
<v Speaker 1>Years anyway, So let's say I'm gonna read this and
<v Speaker 1>you guys hate on me. If you want to hate
<v Speaker 1>it me, it's cool. So Ford is generally perceived as
<v Speaker 1>the A side of the street Profits, but Dawkins really
<v Speaker 1>shined in this match. I totally agree with that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>his front flip dive the outside was stellar, his insiguri
<v Speaker 1>kick was crazy for that man of that size, and
<v Speaker 1>the match was oozing with charisma. Ford repeatedly telling the
<v Speaker 1>USOS to suck it from the top rope drew a
<v Speaker 1>massive reaction from the fans. Jimmy and Ja were at
<v Speaker 1>their giddy best, and both teams thumped with loud, believable strikes.
<v Speaker 1>The rest period in the middle of the match dragged
<v Speaker 1>too long, but the drama and intensity of the match
<v Speaker 1>back half fully made up for it. A live audience
<v Speaker 1>was red hot, and Ford did, when he often does,
<v Speaker 1>steal the show by landing a front dive over the
<v Speaker 1>corner post, and the USO secured their title victory after
<v Speaker 1>disposing of Dawkins on the outside and hitting Ford with
<v Speaker 1>the one d It was revealed after the match that
<v Speaker 1>Ford's shoulder was actually off the mat, which of course
<v Speaker 1>created some doubt on the outcome and setting up a rematch.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, they gave this, this particular website gave it
<v Speaker 1>an A.
<v Speaker 3>I agree.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that this was a four point nine out
<v Speaker 1>of five, you know it. It was a crazy good match,
<v Speaker 1>exceeded all my expectations. The crowd being into it was
<v Speaker 1>always helps. Imagine this being in front of the Thunderdome.
<v Speaker 1>Imagine that. Remember that that era, guys, and I think
<v Speaker 1>we're all old enough to remember that. But that's where
<v Speaker 1>the really really helps.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 1>Everyone held up their own end, I mean everyone, And
<v Speaker 1>to this article's particular point about Dawkins, Yes, I mean
<v Speaker 1>I have kind of crapped on Dawkins just because I
<v Speaker 1>think his character's absolutely insufferable, you know, always just just
<v Speaker 1>screaming and yelling at the camera backstage, being the infomercial
<v Speaker 1>man for everyone else. And every other storyline going on
<v Speaker 1>and doing the yeah, all that crap I hate. I
<v Speaker 1>can't stand it. However, Dawkins really killed it in this match.
<v Speaker 3>He was.
<v Speaker 1>This is easily excuse me, easily, dawkins best match to date.
<v Speaker 1>They were excellent, everyone was. There's not a single thing
<v Speaker 1>bad I can say about this match.
<v Speaker 3>Nothing.
<v Speaker 1>The only reason I'm not giving a five out of
<v Speaker 1>five or an A plus, if that's the absolute highest
<v Speaker 1>you could possibly give, is because there's always that intangible
<v Speaker 1>of like, well, everything could always be better, right, So
<v Speaker 1>it's almost impossible to give.
<v Speaker 3>It a five out of five.
<v Speaker 1>The only five out of five match, if you guys
<v Speaker 1>are wondering that I would that in my mind I
<v Speaker 1>can think of off the top is Michael's Taker WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>twenty five. To me, that was the perfect match, absolutely perfect.
<v Speaker 1>But this match was, in terms of tag team wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>maybe the best match I've seen in years, maybe longer.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm saying years, But if you're an appoint
<v Speaker 1>me to like a specific match prior to this, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what that is. So I'm just going to
<v Speaker 1>say years to kind of cover everything.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>This was awesome and the crowd saying that you know,
<v Speaker 1>fight forever, the fight forever. Chance, this is awesome. Chance
<v Speaker 1>was all deserved. All men deserve a standing ovation for this.
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure they got a backstage standing ovation from everybody,
<v Speaker 1>and they should. This was just the highlight of the
<v Speaker 1>show in terms of wrestling. I think it exceeded all expectations. Now,
<v Speaker 1>you knew going in that they were going to be
<v Speaker 1>kick ass. You knew that this was going to be
<v Speaker 1>at least, you know, a four out of five match,
<v Speaker 1>you know, B B plus at the bare minimum, and
<v Speaker 1>we got a A plus depending on your grading scale.
<v Speaker 1>And it was just great that that whole dive over
<v Speaker 1>the corner post that montes Ford did. The dudes like
<v Speaker 1>you know, inspector Gadget like go go gadget legs. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I just the guy's insane.
<v Speaker 3>I want.
<v Speaker 1>I really think Ford, and I've said this before but
<v Speaker 1>I'll continue to say it is a future WWE champion.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's he's got the look, he's got the charisma,
<v Speaker 1>he's certainly got the n ring. The guy is a
<v Speaker 1>future champion. And I would even advocate in twenty twenty
<v Speaker 1>three for montes Ford to be WWE Universal Heavyweight undisputed.
<v Speaker 1>I don't care what they call it. Champion, that's what
<v Speaker 1>I would advocate for, just because of how great it
<v Speaker 1>is now or he is. That's not to say there's
<v Speaker 1>no juice left to squeeze out of the street profits.
<v Speaker 1>There is, and I think that they'll probably go back
<v Speaker 1>to the form, going back to the well here with
<v Speaker 1>USOS and Stree Profits at SummerSlam because of the result
<v Speaker 1>and the reaction to them at Money in the Bank,
<v Speaker 1>I have no problem with that. They may add a team.
<v Speaker 1>I hope they don't. I hope they stick with Money
<v Speaker 1>Street Profits and Jay and Jimmy the USOS. But the
<v Speaker 1>problem with that is the only problem is how I mean,
<v Speaker 1>it's very difficult to duplicate something like this, very difficult
<v Speaker 1>to top it is even harder. So I would expect
<v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam, if this is a rematch, or maybe they'll
<v Speaker 1>do a ladder match or I don't know whatever, that
<v Speaker 1>they probably the quality isn't as good like a notch
<v Speaker 1>lower And it's not that they're not capable of it.
<v Speaker 1>It's just difficult as hell to duplicate it. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>as I just mentioned with Michaels and Taker at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>twenty five. They try to duplicate it WrestleMania twenty six,
<v Speaker 1>and people don't talk about WrestleMania twenty six, even though
<v Speaker 1>that was Michael's last match, because when you try to
<v Speaker 1>duplicate greatness, people have greatness as the bar, and that's
<v Speaker 1>an unfair bar. But you do it as just kind
<v Speaker 1>of human beings. We're like, oh, they're going to be
<v Speaker 1>at that same level or better. Eventually you hit a ceiling.
<v Speaker 1>We're all you know, we all have our limits. And
<v Speaker 1>I just don't think they're going to have the same
<v Speaker 1>quality match. It's nearly impossible, and they'll still have a
<v Speaker 1>great match, but Match of the Year it's not impossible.
<v Speaker 1>But I think again, for a match that doesn't even
<v Speaker 1>exist yet for Summers Slam, i'd imagine WWE's booking the
<v Speaker 1>way they do things, and I understand why this one.
<v Speaker 1>I agree with They'll go back to the well on
<v Speaker 1>this one. Just great stuff. I can't say enough about it.
<v Speaker 1>Just excellent, excellent tag team match from both both teams,
<v Speaker 1>all men involved. Okay, then we get to Ronda AlSi
<v Speaker 1>in Italia and I told you guys about this in

<v Speaker 1>it was okay. You know that they Randa showed a
<v Speaker 1>lot more range than I remember with her wrestling maneuvers.
<v Speaker 3>Anyway.
<v Speaker 1>Also, it was a bit not unfair, just unlucky that
<v Speaker 1>they had to follow a Match of the Night candidate
<v Speaker 1>right that. I was also something that was something that
<v Speaker 1>I would not be envious of following, and the crowd's
<v Speaker 1>energy was zapped. They had just seen a classic and
<v Speaker 1>then you get Ronda and Tally, which I mean on
<v Speaker 1>its own, people weren't excited to see. So even if
<v Speaker 1>the match pro prior was a stinker, this it wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>have helped them too much. But certainly it didn't help
<v Speaker 1>them at all the fact that they had to deal
<v Speaker 1>with a Match of the Night candidate and maybe Match
<v Speaker 1>of the Year candidate with tag team wrestling right before.
<v Speaker 1>So this was this was fine. The match was okay,
<v Speaker 1>It was as good as it could have been. I think,
<v Speaker 1>and Ronda held her up hair end up n Ittalia.
<v Speaker 1>I think was fine too. Now Ronda hurled herself outside
<v Speaker 1>the ring, and I guess, yeah, there's barely any contribution
<v Speaker 1>from Natalia here as on that particular maneuver. And there's
<v Speaker 1>a lot of exchange of submission holds at the end,
<v Speaker 1>which was good.
<v Speaker 3>I think that.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, that's what the whole storyline was built on.
<v Speaker 1>Is my submission, submission superior to yours. And she finally
<v Speaker 1>got a trademark, her her trademark arm Bar to tap
<v Speaker 1>out Natalia to retain her championship, and it was I
<v Speaker 1>think it was fine. It was fine. You know, again,
<v Speaker 1>nothing that you would be on the edge of your
<v Speaker 1>seat for. And the crowd reaction to Ronda is if
<v Speaker 1>you're a babyface, if you're somebody that is concerned about
<v Speaker 1>such things in terms of reaction and casting and all that,
<v Speaker 1>you should be concerned about how the crowd reacted to Ronda.
<v Speaker 1>It's not great. However, we did get live cashing in
<v Speaker 1>on Ronda, and she immediately cashed in. I didn't expect
<v Speaker 1>that to happen. And she, in an interview prior to this,
<v Speaker 1>after she had won, said to Sarah Sarah Schreiber Schreiber, Schreiber, Schreiber.
<v Speaker 1>I think now I'm so excited. I'm just right now.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just going to go celebrate. I have an entire
<v Speaker 1>year to cash this in. Smart on WWE's part, it
<v Speaker 1>takes your mind out of the fact that she could
<v Speaker 1>possibly cash in tonight. That the purpose of that was
<v Speaker 1>to lead you astray, that you don't know when she's
<v Speaker 1>going to cash in, and we're going to make you
<v Speaker 1>think it's not tonight. And I think that was a
<v Speaker 1>very smart move. So props to anyone who came up
<v Speaker 1>with that little segment to veer us off the path
<v Speaker 1>and live cashed in. I was worried that she was
<v Speaker 1>going to try to cash in, and for whatever reason,
<v Speaker 1>there's not an immediate bringing of the bell. Too many
<v Speaker 1>times we've seen cash ins on the men's and women's
<v Speaker 1>sides where they try to cash in and it's a
<v Speaker 1>failed cash in because they the referee and the timekeeper
<v Speaker 1>can't get their crap together fast enough and the announcer
<v Speaker 1>has to announce it for some reason before the match
<v Speaker 1>has to start. I mean, it should happen immediately the
<v Speaker 1>second the moment that the briefcase is handed to the referee,
<v Speaker 1>the bell should ring, there should be no delay, because
<v Speaker 1>how many times have we seen heels, especially try to
<v Speaker 1>cash in on the vulnerable babyface and the babyface is
<v Speaker 1>you know, the briefcase is handed to the referee, but
<v Speaker 1>the baby face takes down the heel, and therefore the
<v Speaker 1>briefcase wasn't ever really cashed in because the bell didn't ring,
<v Speaker 1>And it's just like this whole like delay of time
<v Speaker 1>that doesn't need to exist, and in this case, it
<v Speaker 1>was still that, but it was minimal. And Live went
<v Speaker 1>to kick Ronda. Ronda put her in the ankle lock,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm thinking, oh my god, if Ronda taps out
<v Speaker 1>Live right now, the crowd is going to immediately turn
<v Speaker 1>on Ronda, and I want to see it. So for
<v Speaker 1>that purpose, that reason, I wanted to see Ronda do that,
<v Speaker 1>retain her championship, lives a failed cash in and now
<v Speaker 1>you have essentially a heel Ronda Rousey that would have
<v Speaker 1>immediately turned her heel instantly, and it didn't. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>happy for Live and it was a nice moment, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm also a little bit sad that Ronda didn't turn
<v Speaker 1>on Live, especially after the match. You can't even really
<v Speaker 1>call it a match. It was like two moves. But
<v Speaker 1>Ronda hugging and handing over the championship to Live I
<v Speaker 1>was I was not a fan of that at all
<v Speaker 1>because I was thinking, this is a huge missed opportunity,
<v Speaker 1>a perfect opportunity for Ronda to turn heel and attack
<v Speaker 1>Live from behind, and boom, you have a heel Ronda Rousey.
<v Speaker 1>The crowd would have ate it up, and they didn't.
<v Speaker 1>So the roll up was a little bit kind of sloppy,
<v Speaker 1>I have to say like it. It was kind of
<v Speaker 1>a weird ending that Rondo was just rolled up by Live.
<v Speaker 1>You know, she kicked her in her leg and then
<v Speaker 1>rolled her up. I was like, okay, well, yeah, we
<v Speaker 1>get to the end result of finally seeing Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>as a SmackDown Women's champion. But mhm, it was a
<v Speaker 1>little bit sloppy in terms of the execution.
<v Speaker 3>Not the end of the world.
<v Speaker 1>Uh okay, then everybody, we get to the main event
<v Speaker 1>of the men's Money the make Ladder match. Drew Seth Riddle,
<v Speaker 1>Sammy mad Cap, Moss, Seamus Omas, and Theory, who was
<v Speaker 1>a late addition to the match. Who was he was
<v Speaker 1>announced by Adam Pierce. People speculated it was because of
<v Speaker 1>Vince on the on air, and uh Zane took some
<v Speaker 1>serious abuse early as Moss tossed and slamed him into
<v Speaker 1>a bunch of ladders. Riddle was insane. I mean, the
<v Speaker 1>RKO on on Rollins was crazy. Riddles, as expected, was
<v Speaker 1>just an absolute monster in this matchup, and we had
<v Speaker 1>a floating bro off the ladder Onto like the entire
<v Speaker 1>cast in the ring. That was pretty crazy. Omas ran
<v Speaker 1>over a lot of the guys. As expected. Omas didn't
<v Speaker 1>really shine it this match because there was a lot
<v Speaker 1>of just everyone ganging up on him to take him
<v Speaker 1>out of the match. They buried him in ladders, they
<v Speaker 1>put him through the announced table to just eliminate him
<v Speaker 1>from the matchup. So it wasn't really Omas's night to shine,
<v Speaker 1>and it doesn't have to be. The message here was
<v Speaker 1>that Omas is a huge threat. Let's all take him out,
<v Speaker 1>and they did so. The remainder of the field again
<v Speaker 1>teamed up. They put him through the announce table. Riddle
<v Speaker 1>removed Rollins from the equation after a super RKO, and
<v Speaker 1>you think maybe there's an opportunity for him to win,
<v Speaker 1>but theory at the last second came in and captured
<v Speaker 1>the briefcase and we have a Theory victory. It was
<v Speaker 1>I think it was better than the women's but not
<v Speaker 1>by much. And having Theory win here, I don't like it.
<v Speaker 3>And I guess this.
<v Speaker 1>Let me say this, if John Cena came out at
<v Speaker 1>the end and maybe gave him an F you boy,
<v Speaker 1>I'm thinking in two thousand and five here if he
<v Speaker 1>gave him an attitude adjustment or something fun. But that's
<v Speaker 1>not what happened. And I also I'm mostly angry for
<v Speaker 1>the on behalf of Seth Rollins, who I think had
<v Speaker 1>the crowd in his pocket in terms of wanting to
<v Speaker 1>see him get a victory and be able to be
<v Speaker 1>the guy to take out Roman reigns. Now you have Theory, who,
<v Speaker 1>based on the way they've booked him, could actually be
<v Speaker 1>the guy to now take out Roman reigns. He could
<v Speaker 1>be that guy. And as I've been advocating for it
<v Speaker 1>for a long time, it should be a young guy,
<v Speaker 1>somebody on the rise, somebody from n XT, the homegrown guy.
<v Speaker 1>And lo and behold, right under my nose, we have
<v Speaker 1>that guy. We have a young guy, charismatic. Vince loves
<v Speaker 1>him obviously not just in story, but in real life
<v Speaker 1>he is already He's a prior champion, he from n
<v Speaker 1>x T, he's homegrown. He fits all the boxes. The
<v Speaker 1>only one he doesn't fit is that he's a heel.
<v Speaker 1>So you don't want to necessarily, you know, heal Roman
<v Speaker 1>reigns transferring the belt to a heel theory, Yeah, so
<v Speaker 1>that that's the one hurdle they have, is that it's
<v Speaker 1>not a heel.
<v Speaker 3>Or not a baby face.
<v Speaker 1>It would be very I guess, maddening to fans if
<v Speaker 1>they transfer it from a absentee heel champion to a
<v Speaker 1>heel champion that is there every week. I guess the
<v Speaker 1>one benefit is, Okay, he's there every week and the
<v Speaker 1>championship is now out of hibernation and back into the
<v Speaker 1>eyes of fans. So that's a good thing. That's the
<v Speaker 1>only the only positive because of the fact that it's
<v Speaker 1>going on to another heel. So could he cash in?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he fits all the he checks every box.
<v Speaker 1>He checks every box, and he could use this to
<v Speaker 1>springboard his career. Absolutely, It's just that he's a heel.
<v Speaker 1>That's the biggest.
<v Speaker 3>Hurdle and it is a problem.
<v Speaker 1>That is a problem, and I think fans would not
<v Speaker 1>be excited about that simply for that fact. But Riddle
<v Speaker 1>gets the victory a very kind of whole hum just
<v Speaker 1>disappointing end, I think is really what it was. You know,
<v Speaker 1>Vince has a new toy.
<v Speaker 3>That's what this is.
<v Speaker 1>Vince has a new toy. He is what Roman Reigns
<v Speaker 1>was to Vince. He's a guy that's young, he likes
<v Speaker 1>his look, he likes his body, he sees potential in him,
<v Speaker 1>and he keeps pushing him even if fans say no. Uh,
<v Speaker 1>And that's exactly what this is. I mean, it's uh, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the the embodiment of what Vince did to Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, that was something that I thought was just
<v Speaker 1>kind of a lame way to end the show, as oh,
<v Speaker 1>Theory wins and nobody comes out. You didn't anybody else
<v Speaker 1>catch the fans like pouring out of the arena after
<v Speaker 1>Theory wins, Like people are just running up the stairs
<v Speaker 1>like to get the hell out of there, just kind
<v Speaker 1>of in disappointment or maybe you know, not catch traffic.
<v Speaker 1>But it was just kind of like, oh, all right, well,
<v Speaker 1>where's Sina. Can somebody come out here?
<v Speaker 3>Now?
<v Speaker 1>The benefit also to this is beyond him cashing in
<v Speaker 1>that that we'll get to that, you know, when it
<v Speaker 1>happens or when we speculate it could happen, but more
<v Speaker 1>of in the short term SummerSlam. I think now that
<v Speaker 1>he's no longer a United States champion, Sena could easily
<v Speaker 1>come in. There's been a lot of speculation of Sena
<v Speaker 1>versus Theory at SummerSlam for a while. And if it
<v Speaker 1>was for the United States Championship theory, John Scene is
<v Speaker 1>not in the business of holding a championship right now,
<v Speaker 1>and that way, the belt's out of the equation. You
<v Speaker 1>can now get straight to theory and rob theory and
<v Speaker 1>Sena without any belts, just pride on the line. So
<v Speaker 1>that's the thing. That's if you're looking for the theory
<v Speaker 1>Sena the evidence for it. That's evidence for it. So
<v Speaker 1>that is a I think a good thing when it
<v Speaker 1>comes to at least getting John Cena back into the ring.
<v Speaker 1>So a couple more things. The light bulbs the pictures
<v Speaker 1>we saw kind of and you see somebody walking a
<v Speaker 1>shadow of a guy. I mean, how is it not
<v Speaker 1>bray Wyatt? Right, It's like the worst kept secret. Now
<v Speaker 1>if it is bray Wyatt, where how exactly. They bring
<v Speaker 1>him back, they bring him back as the fiend, they
<v Speaker 1>bring him back as just kind of the sweater wearing
<v Speaker 1>Bray Wyatt. Do they bring him back as something different,
<v Speaker 1>just just you know, Bray. I don't know what they do,
<v Speaker 1>but a lot of the stuff we saw we saw
<v Speaker 1>in the biggest evidence to me was those Edison light
<v Speaker 1>bulbs that he used and so many of his promos.
<v Speaker 1>That was one of the biggest things. And I'd have
<v Speaker 1>to go back and examine every picture, which I won't
<v Speaker 1>many of you some of you will, but to me,
<v Speaker 1>that's the biggest moment. I remember in that quick video
<v Speaker 1>clip and the announcer said, we don't know what that was,
<v Speaker 1>but continuing on, so they acknowledged it, but just said that, no,
<v Speaker 1>we have no clue, just being the you know, kind
<v Speaker 1>of ignorant announcers, which they have to be. But that's
<v Speaker 1>to me what it is, has to be Wiatt. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm sure we'll see these video clips leading up to SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>I would imagine that we're going to see more and
<v Speaker 1>more of these hints of Bray Wyatt, you know, leading
<v Speaker 1>all the way up to the week before or at SummerSlam.
<v Speaker 1>I would imagine that that has to be it, right?
<v Speaker 1>How can they not debut redbut Bray Wyatt at that point?
<v Speaker 1>If it's not Bray Wyitt, I have no clue who
<v Speaker 1>it is. And really, I don't think the fans will
<v Speaker 1>react positively if it's not Bray Wyatt, Like it's Bray
<v Speaker 1>Wyatt or we Riot. Oh there's a sign for you.
<v Speaker 1>Did I just start something? It's Wyatt or we Riot?
<v Speaker 3>Ooh? I like that? Boy?
<v Speaker 2>I do.
<v Speaker 1>I hope I didn't start a movement. But that's probably
<v Speaker 1>that's the mentality going into Summer Slam because of these
<v Speaker 1>vignettes and little sneaky things kind of pop on Raw
<v Speaker 1>and pop on SmackDown the next four weeks. And it's
<v Speaker 1>not Wyatt who'd redebuts at Summer Slam, Like, I don't
<v Speaker 1>care who it is. They're going to get booed and
<v Speaker 1>the crowd's going to crap all over it. So it's
<v Speaker 1>Wyatt or we Riot. So beyond that, let's see what
<v Speaker 1>else I had to say. One more note here, Oh,
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul resign with WWE. I have mixed feelings about this.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's gonna be It's gonna be Logan Paul
<v Speaker 1>versus them is at SummerSlam. I don't think anyone really
<v Speaker 1>particularly cares that much, only because the miss is a heel.
<v Speaker 1>And if they're trying to make Logan Paul a babyface,
<v Speaker 1>good luck with that. Really, I wish you the best godspeed,
<v Speaker 1>because Logan Paul is going to get demolished by the
<v Speaker 1>crowd who have no respect for him, and they also
<v Speaker 1>you know, in terms of all respect, I mean they
<v Speaker 1>respect him is more, but they also want like his
<v Speaker 1>character and it's gonna be very difficult to turn him
<v Speaker 1>baby face. So I think it's a heel versus a heel.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe WWE is gonna say, let the crowd react how
<v Speaker 1>they are, this is a soft landing spot to get
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul back in the eyes of fans. He did
<v Speaker 1>sign a legitimate contract with WWE. Now what that means
<v Speaker 1>in terms of live events, What that means in terms
<v Speaker 1>of how often he's gonna appear at the length of
<v Speaker 1>his contract, we don't know any of this, but the
<v Speaker 1>fact that he said he resigned tells you that it's
<v Speaker 1>probably multi and probably I don't know, several matches per year.
<v Speaker 1>Probably not how shows we'll have to see, I mean
<v Speaker 1>we don't have the contract in front of us, but
<v Speaker 1>i'd speculate that it's multi year, so get ready for
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul I. I don't know how to feel about
<v Speaker 1>it yet. Yeah, I'm not a fan of him on
<v Speaker 1>a personal level, but that doesn't mean it can't translate
<v Speaker 1>into paying money to see him get his ass kicked, right.
<v Speaker 3>Isn't that the point?
<v Speaker 1>So maybe he's a perfect heal. He's a perfect heal
<v Speaker 1>in that way, so he's very easily he's very easily unlikable.
<v Speaker 1>He's got a lot of those just innate qualities. You
<v Speaker 1>want to see somebody destroy him. So that could translate
<v Speaker 1>nice into dollar signs for WWE. So that is what
<v Speaker 1>I think about it. In guys, overall again money in
<v Speaker 1>the bank, lame ending, lame ending with theory being injected
<v Speaker 1>into the match, but some excellent wrestling, excellent wrestling, And
<v Speaker 1>I'll end by saying, if it's if it's not, if
<v Speaker 1>it's not wyat we. So that said, I'm very proud
