00:00:00 Speaker 1: Welcome back to episode thirty nine of Inside the Bus. I'm Jack McPherson. With me is JP Hovey, Cooper Comstock, Mitchell Carsley and the One, the Only, the sub Bend Derek White, and give a round of applause. 00:00:14 Speaker 2: People, thank you for being here. 00:00:17 Speaker 1: We'll address it soon, but our podcast studio is on the second floor of our building. Derek has sustained an injury recently that will dive into later, but. 00:00:27 Speaker 2: Just real respect for you to climbing up those stairs on crutches, so that goes a long way with this community. 00:00:33 Speaker 1: So before we get going, we're gonna address possibly the elephant in the room to some of our real hardoes who listen. 00:00:41 Speaker 2: To this show. 00:00:42 Speaker 1: And we are missing a host, Garrett Hargas. He is no longer with busting with the boys. He is now onto bigger and better things, taking a chance a new opportunity, and we will sadly miss him on all fronts of our business, including Inside the Us. He was a staple member of this podcast. We obviously have him on the carpet behind us and we'll never take him off obviously. I mean, how crazy be if we just got a new carpet. 00:01:11 Speaker 3: Yeah, Jack bby Jack BB. 00:01:14 Speaker 4: No. 00:01:15 Speaker 1: Hopefully Garrett Hargas will join us back here in the podcast studio in the future, but not as a host but as a guest, and we can check in on what he's up to and the cool things that are ahead of him. 00:01:27 Speaker 2: But yeah, guys, what's up? How are we doing good? 00:01:31 Speaker 3: I'm fired up to see what Garrett does next, because obviously none of this would have happened. He wouldn't have part of ways. He would have done his own thing if it wasn't best for him. So you know, G's gonna cook up something. 00:01:46 Speaker 5: He's going to crush whatever he does. Yeah, that dude has a mind of his own. 00:01:51 Speaker 3: I know. And some people, like a few people have reached out to me like, hey, what were Garrett's like skills? Where what is he really succeed in kind of in y'all's company. And it's so funny whenever you go back and talk through it, it's like, well, you know, in the beginning, he was making a bunch of clips. He did all the graphics, then he started doing all the merch then he started making the vlogs. Then he started doing all the operations and logistics. So everybody I tell him, like, man, you you kind of pick your pick your spot for him shotani of podcasting industries, Garrett Harky is. 00:02:24 Speaker 1: And outside of how versatile he is, just from the production standpoint, when I think of Garrett Hargas, I think, man, that dude's cool, right, he just oozes that like just really casual confidence, good style, a good hang. Just yeah, he'll be missed sadly here, but hopefully in the future we're gonna have him back if he'll have us. Really, you know, if he's killing to he might he might outgrow us. 00:02:49 Speaker 2: So we'll see. 00:02:51 Speaker 1: But uh, yeah, do we want to dive into some of the gifts we got before? 00:02:54 Speaker 5: You said you bringing up the carpet and shout out Jack GB Jack BB. 00:02:59 Speaker 4: Did y'all see his Instagram? 00:03:01 Speaker 2: Dude, he did it. 00:03:01 Speaker 4: He did it. He got the golf simulator in his apartment. 00:03:06 Speaker 2: Which is which is so sick what I'm about to say. 00:03:09 Speaker 1: This is no disrespect to you, Jack at all, So I don't want it to come across this way. But when he says I'm going to build a golf simulator, my first thought is, like an apartment complex golf simulator that's like spending like thousands of dollars. They've got the turf, and like, I love it that it's just literally this gritty net with a backdrop and like literally just in the middle of his legity and he's. 00:03:30 Speaker 4: Just got like a little TV monitor that shows where he is. 00:03:33 Speaker 2: It's everything you need as a man. 00:03:34 Speaker 5: Like that is he said he was gonna do it, he followed through with it, and it's like, fuck it. It's like one of those things like Jack, You've tweeted a lot, like guys are gonna see this and just think. 00:03:44 Speaker 2: Hell yeah, hell yeah. Yeah. 00:03:47 Speaker 1: This is a good reminder too to anyone that you possess free will and you truly do whatever you want with your life. So don't let the system or your parents or negative people in your life tell you that you can't build a golf simulator in your room. 00:04:00 Speaker 5: And he's just like he's literally just finished graduating school and like now he has access to grown up money, right, And it's like now. 00:04:07 Speaker 2: Now he has access to golf courses, just. 00:04:10 Speaker 5: Has grown up money. Now he's like, this is what I'm going to spend money, grown up money on it. 00:04:13 Speaker 3: And it's like, yes, dude, all I can think of too, because I mean, Jack is We've had him on the show. He's one of the nicest people ever, and but I'm worried. I'm like, Jack, please do not be playing too late, because I'm seeing the video and I'm hearing the sound, and all I'm thinking about is if I'm the neighbor next to him, what is the mother ef for doing in here? Half the day he's drilling, he's creating carpets. The other half the day he's hitting golf balls. And I got no piece of quat. 00:04:41 Speaker 4: I'd be the loudest neighbor of all might be. 00:04:42 Speaker 3: The loudest neighbor of all time. But I know Jack's very respectful. 00:04:46 Speaker 2: Just invest in some soundproofing material. Ye squares on the wall. 00:04:51 Speaker 3: Throw up a blanket, and we need to do it inside the bus blalok to his apartment. 00:04:54 Speaker 5: Yeah, honestly, Jack, I haven't texted you yet, but you are on our next flag team, so he would be around much more often. 00:05:01 Speaker 3: Make announcement. 00:05:02 Speaker 6: Recruiting never stops. 00:05:03 Speaker 3: No recruiting never stops. 00:05:05 Speaker 1: But yeah, he's a spending big boy money. We had a loyal listener, I believe Derek. He goes by the name of mister White Chocolate. 00:05:12 Speaker 7: Mister White Chocolate, do you want. 00:05:14 Speaker 2: To give a description? 00:05:15 Speaker 1: Because you were familiar with mister White Chocolate and I think he's kind of online and so just. 00:05:21 Speaker 2: Yes, a description. 00:05:22 Speaker 7: No, he was just a guy that when I had first started, I had seen in the comments before the dads and he had a call in and so we were just kind of dming here and there, and he had a DM just asking him to send us a Christmas card in a couple of gifts a while ago. So I gave him, like, there's two addresses you can give out and it's the address or the PO box, and so I give the PO box and then it took a while to get it here because Brett goes and checks it and stuff. So the other day he sent us a video to me and Sherman was like, Hey, what's all this stuff? And I was like, I don't know, but it's sick. And then turns out it's from a loyal listener, mister White Chocolate. 00:05:53 Speaker 1: Yeah, so we actually before we really explain all the things he's saying, he sent us a letter. 00:05:57 Speaker 4: Also. 00:05:58 Speaker 5: We said before that we wanted to do like these unboxings and stuff. I didn't even know the PO box address, so we should, like, I don't know if we can post something about. 00:06:06 Speaker 2: It, and I'd love to know that address. 00:06:08 Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like, oh, Derek knows it. 00:06:10 Speaker 7: Like we did it for the reason I got it was for for the dads. We wanted people to send us their Christmas cards, and so I was like, let's just pepper them there. Yeah, that way they're in one spot and we've got a bundle of them. 00:06:20 Speaker 5: Yeah, but we will be putting out our PO box address somewhere so that if y'all want more stuff and get featured on the pod and I thank you, you can send us your stuff and it'll whether it's here or somehow we'll figure out how to get all of it hung up. So it's like just like a fan wall of something. 00:06:39 Speaker 3: But what you got there? 00:06:41 Speaker 1: So this is from mister White Chocolate himself. I don't know if you can kind of zoom in or you can see this, but so this handwriting is very neat, but it's slanted sideway. 00:06:51 Speaker 2: Somebody do my best to read this. I think I got it. 00:06:54 Speaker 1: It's from mister White Chocolate boys. So sorry for the late Christmas card and package. This month has been a roller coach to ride. For sure, I lost my grandmother on December twenty eighth. I'm sorry to hear that rest in peace, so white chocolate to missus Senior white Chocolate. And I think he owes A lot of people will get. 00:08:09 Speaker 4: You that doesn't even somebody like a cast iron skillet. 00:08:12 Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, I think it might be another guy that we'll talk about almost two years ago, but he goes. I bet his boo Veronica her prize. Ah, I remember, but forgot about melloll. I hope you all have a merry Christmas and happy New Year and can't wait to see what's in Server twenty twenty six. But it feels like this is this is fate. So again, thank you mister White Chocolate for the nice note. We're sorry about your grandmother, but uh, we love you and let's appreciate you. 00:09:18 Speaker 2: Cooper, why don't you why don't you unveil this one? 00:09:21 Speaker 3: And somebody remind me to ask a question after we do the unboxing, because this letter made me think of something. 00:09:27 Speaker 2: Well, we have here. 00:09:29 Speaker 8: I don't know how well we can see it. It's pretty big, like I feel like you can see pretty good. Is a Chase Edmonds Cardinals legend autographed photo. One thing about Chase Edmonds is he was just all right. But but he reminds me. 00:09:47 Speaker 6: Stay with me, you know, the Cardinals. I'm in a bad head, a rough week, two weeks, but. 00:09:52 Speaker 8: He reminds me of the good old days a few years ago, when there was hope and I. 00:09:58 Speaker 6: Was telling people, you know who Chase Edmons is not? Oh he's really underrated. Yeah I thought he was, and then you know, I mean he well you know he was. 00:10:08 Speaker 3: I was. 00:10:09 Speaker 4: What's his photo? 00:10:10 Speaker 3: Explain this photo? 00:10:12 Speaker 8: This photo appears to be Chase Edmonds scoring a touchdown against the New York Football Giants. I actually remember this game Josh Dobbs, Tennessee legend. 00:10:23 Speaker 6: A yes VFL. 00:10:26 Speaker 8: Josh Dobbs started this game and the Cardinals roared out to a huge, like three touchdown lead and then just completely pooped themselves and play with But this was this was part of the. 00:10:36 Speaker 3: I did not know that when I asked you to explain. I'm thinking this is pick six game winner Chase Edmonds or I guess. 00:10:42 Speaker 8: He's a running he's a running back. Then he left and then took green your pastures and then. 00:10:46 Speaker 3: Sorry, I thought it was Patrick Peterson down Rogers Camardi legend. 00:10:54 Speaker 6: Anyways, thank you for that. This is sick. This will be going on the wall somewhere. Appreciate you. Thank you for that. 00:11:00 Speaker 4: I'll go next. 00:11:01 Speaker 5: I have two things, but I want to save the one for last because I think it is legendary. But this is it Danty? 00:11:10 Speaker 2: No, it's Yancy Nancy? 00:11:13 Speaker 3: Is he related to Tyler? 00:11:15 Speaker 2: I have no. 00:11:16 Speaker 5: Idea actually signed on the back that actually is crazy. 00:11:21 Speaker 4: I have no idea who they gave this. 00:11:23 Speaker 1: The old guy he played for the Oilers and the Titans, with the Oilers the Titans. 00:11:28 Speaker 4: Old type feelings. I mean, it wasn't was Delaney two. 00:11:35 Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey he walks Lady Run Yes, which Steelers legend. We gotta break that down because I think the Lady was in one of the photos. Taylor's most recent post crop god Blur, God, Derek. I don't know if you've seen his most recent post. 00:11:53 Speaker 4: I don't think I have either. 00:11:54 Speaker 8: I don't think anybody has transition from from professional sports into media. 00:12:01 Speaker 1: You'd think that he would at least just be able to post a clear photo now. But it's almost like maybe he's on the ultimate bit. 00:12:09 Speaker 6: There's something endearing about it. 00:12:10 Speaker 3: He really is. 00:12:11 Speaker 2: It's like a kid showing you a draw and that's so good. 00:12:17 Speaker 3: Look at this post I made, Jack, and that's you and that's the lady. Oh my gosh. 00:12:22 Speaker 5: What you do to him on Twitter of like the searching and googling thing is like I've had multiple people be like, like, did Taylor actually do that? 00:12:30 Speaker 4: Or is Jack just messing around. 00:12:31 Speaker 1: That's become my favorite bit on Twitter because it's it's to the sentiment of what we're talking about Taylor being like a little kid. That one, I'm like, like, crushing him as an adult. I'm like, and what's funny is people take Twitter Twitter is so negative compared to like Instagram, and you can post one thing on Instagram and get the most positive things in the world. 00:12:52 Speaker 2: And you go to Twitter and people are like, you're gay as fuck. So but I'm not. 00:12:56 Speaker 1: I don't know if Taylor's gay, but I do think that you got to just continue doing that for the rest of time. 00:13:02 Speaker 3: Yea, his kids are going to think he played in the seventies the way he posts the photos, which more power to him. Yeah, I mean you played against plumbers. Three time Pro bowler had the Bowl. 00:13:18 Speaker 4: Do you have more stuff or did you not have? 00:13:20 Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, we do have this. 00:13:22 Speaker 4: I want to save that one for last. 00:13:24 Speaker 3: No, gotcha, Yeah, I'll hold him. Yeah, here, I'll hold it up. You didn't talk about it. 00:13:34 Speaker 2: It's just dud. I'm not even sure who this is, to be honest, you. 00:13:37 Speaker 4: Knows a Hall of Famer Robert who is the Midge. 00:13:43 Speaker 6: Robert something Rende Barber. 00:13:46 Speaker 2: Let's look it up. 00:13:47 Speaker 4: Robert. 00:13:47 Speaker 2: He's a Hall of Famer, Hall of Famer class. I'm not to get crucified, but you know, we gotta. 00:13:53 Speaker 6: Keep cut it on. 00:13:54 Speaker 4: Robert b. Robert Bigelow Hall of Fame Class of eight. 00:13:57 Speaker 6: He's no Chase Edmonds. 00:13:59 Speaker 4: That he looks like dick buckets. 00:14:04 Speaker 8: This is sick though, Let's see, you know we got dirty in the trenches looking at it wasn't a hobby for him. 00:14:12 Speaker 4: This is this is poor podcasting. 00:14:14 Speaker 2: But yeah, terrible, need more, need everything. At this point, while we're waiting this breaks brought you by Chad GPT, Dude, I am really not even getting Yeah, Robert Brazil, doctor. 00:14:37 Speaker 4: Dude, doctor Doom. 00:14:39 Speaker 2: I'm gonna get killed in the comments man out right now. 00:14:42 Speaker 1: I know, man, I'm literally wearing the Oilers jacket. 00:14:46 Speaker 4: But dude, I'm about to get that was his nickname was doctor Doom. 00:14:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, he actually said, I'm starting to get a little quiet. 00:14:54 Speaker 2: But anyways, thank you. 00:14:56 Speaker 4: Hey. 00:14:57 Speaker 8: Last week I sat there and said Kurt Warner was the only quarterback the Cardinal's ever had, and I had so many ads about Carson Palmer Twitter, which, by the way, I do know Carson Palmer heat of the moment stuff. 00:15:11 Speaker 3: Dude, you were dealing with the loss of Kyler. 00:15:13 Speaker 6: I'm getting better on the mic, but I'm still not that good man. 00:15:14 Speaker 5: I forgot the last thing we have I think is maybe one of my favorite things we've ever received. 00:15:21 Speaker 3: But Jessica Simpson CUSTOMJ Simpson us O J Simpson USC Jersey. 00:15:33 Speaker 2: Massive. 00:15:33 Speaker 3: Dude, dude, how did you get your hands on that? 00:15:37 Speaker 4: That's only that's a question that mister White Chocolate can answer. 00:15:40 Speaker 2: I'll have to ask him for sure. 00:15:42 Speaker 4: Because like a legit jersey, like everything. 00:15:48 Speaker 7: Hanging in the locker room, in his locker and. 00:15:52 Speaker 4: See two thousand and four limited edition shout out, mister White Chocolate. 00:15:58 Speaker 1: He's like a memorabilia collector or if he's against spending his big boy money to just send us some cool stuff. 00:16:04 Speaker 5: But I feel like either way, some of the stuff is like kind of random, like the Yancy thig Pin one, the Chase Edmunds one, like. 00:16:11 Speaker 7: He has like a plug or he's deep in the memorabilia game, and so his TikTok and his YouTube channel just have jerseys and signatures and him and his wife going I would assume his wife going to games and things. 00:16:21 Speaker 6: So he's deep. 00:16:22 Speaker 5: Also, why don't you to give him another shout out shout out his socials because he sent us all this cool stuff. 00:16:28 Speaker 7: Absolutely, uh, he does have which I don't know if the link's not working, but it's literally mister White Chocolate eighty eight on TikTok. He does have a YouTube channel where he'll uh makes a ton of content things like that. For some reason, I can't see the link on here, But dude is a stud, big memorabilia guy, a big sideline guy, a Commanders fan. 00:16:45 Speaker 4: It would appear white chocolate. Yeah. 00:16:47 Speaker 3: One of the best things about sports to me is these is the pieces of memorabilia like the Chase Edmunds photo because I don't know, I don't know why. It just hits so hard. Would be like it is just a random guy. 00:16:59 Speaker 4: I know that. 00:17:00 Speaker 3: You know that Cardinals fans out there, there's some kid out there that Chase Edmonds was his favorite player for whatever reason. And to have that come across the come across the scene the screen is beautiful. 00:17:12 Speaker 8: How much sports memberabilly is out there right like, And it's kind of the same for every like hobby or sports so to speak. If you want to count sports as a hobby, but. 00:17:22 Speaker 3: A hobby, bro, it's your line. 00:17:24 Speaker 6: Ain't a hobby. 00:17:25 Speaker 3: The question I had after this letter, oh man, oh never mind, this isn't cursive. I thought this was cursive, and I'm thinking, like there's a there. I feel like there's a year that a person was born. And that's the cut off of people that use cursive. Because my dad writes in cursive, my mom writes in cursive. My oldest brother does not write in cursive. 00:17:47 Speaker 6: Do y'all know cursive? 00:17:49 Speaker 3: Do you know cursive? 00:17:50 Speaker 2: I went to a private school. 00:17:52 Speaker 6: I got my cursive license in third grade. 00:17:54 Speaker 4: The most. 00:17:56 Speaker 3: Different to write. 00:17:59 Speaker 5: I learned it in fourth grade. And my signature still looks like a fourth grader like wrote it. That's how bad my cursive is. But my dad went to Catholic school growing up, like they had to write in cursive every single day, so like his writing is still in cursive. His writing was still in cursive, but like my mom writes normal, So it's like kind of weird. 00:18:20 Speaker 4: I don't know. 00:18:21 Speaker 3: For the next bus scenes, I'm going to cove with a sentence and I'm going to have the shop ride it in cursive. There got throw the Z in there. 00:18:30 Speaker 6: Is not easy either. 00:18:31 Speaker 3: My favorite was the d well, what's the capital J? What's the capital J look like? Because I signed JP. 00:18:40 Speaker 1: Capitol J is just a big yeah. Yeah, it's literally just a big loop down. 00:18:46 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:18:47 Speaker 2: I'm trying to actually, like one of the easiest ones. 00:18:49 Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. 00:18:50 Speaker 6: What the lower case license probably expired. 00:18:52 Speaker 2: I think it's it's like a loop. 00:18:55 Speaker 6: And then isn't it like a like you? 00:18:58 Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess it's too it's too right. It's a loop and then a loop back. 00:19:02 Speaker 2: That's the upper case one. 00:19:04 Speaker 1: The lower case one is like it starts as a U and then you bring the J down and come back up and then. 00:19:09 Speaker 6: Yes, it looks like a you and a J combine kind of. 00:19:11 Speaker 2: Like a like a Y almost Yeah, two tails on the end. 00:19:15 Speaker 5: The hardest one for me to rate are RS and S'SRS. 00:19:21 Speaker 3: Easy, but I like is like, yeah, remember I have. 00:19:27 Speaker 5: I go like R and then S for my last name, and it's like it's just I'm gotten getting to the point where my signatures. 00:19:35 Speaker 8: I think this is easy when I'm doing that S T T combo and comstock. 00:19:43 Speaker 2: But this begs the question. Is cursive writing a dying breed? 00:19:48 Speaker 4: Yes? 00:19:49 Speaker 3: And I need to stay dead. 00:19:51 Speaker 1: Thinks of like digital media and everyone being on their phone so much. 00:19:54 Speaker 6: Like calligraphy is dead unless you're. 00:19:55 Speaker 1: Like signing something or if you keep a journal. I feel like most old, I like, at least in my profession, my personal law. I don't write unless I'm writing in a journal or signing something. 00:20:07 Speaker 5: Yeah, it's I'll write like to do lists and I'll write brookets on my ass all for it, all of the time. But I'll like, for my grocery list, I'll put it on a sticky note and like just something about like crossing it off. I'll do that, like that's I'll handwrite that. But like cursive is, it's just my name, and I feel like that is how like the majority of people in our generation, the only thing they know how to write in cursive is their signature. 00:20:31 Speaker 3: Cursive died when we had to learn a S D F J k L semi colon. That was the end of it. 00:20:36 Speaker 4: I don't even know what that is. You don't know what that is as you. 00:20:40 Speaker 3: Know what that is. 00:20:40 Speaker 8: It's like like typing, you know, yeah, you know, yeah, yeah, what are they? 00:20:45 Speaker 3: What are they called? 00:20:47 Speaker 4: Is that where you're supposed to rest your hands? 00:20:48 Speaker 7: It's home base, baby, home base. 00:20:50 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:20:51 Speaker 3: I remember keyboard. 00:20:54 Speaker 2: I remember you had to pass quirdy Cordy. 00:20:58 Speaker 3: I dude, what was the robot's name? Uh? That would help you with math? The robot and the guy do you remember them? 00:21:05 Speaker 6: Tim and Moby is it Timmy you're talking about brain Pop? 00:21:08 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's on brain Pop. It's Tim and Moby. 00:21:11 Speaker 4: Where the rope? 00:21:11 Speaker 6: Where the robotom guy? The copper like looking bronze robot. 00:21:16 Speaker 3: I don't think I'm thinking of a brother. 00:21:18 Speaker 4: What you're talking. 00:21:19 Speaker 6: I'm pulling up Tim Moby. 00:21:20 Speaker 2: There's no I know that, but I don't even know we're talking. All I can think of is Clippy. You know what Clippy is? 00:21:26 Speaker 3: I don't think I do the. 00:21:29 Speaker 2: What's the paper? 00:21:30 Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the that's Tim and Moby. Yeah, brain Pop? 00:21:34 Speaker 1: Oh my god, I just put the You don't yeah, I mean it's like. 00:21:40 Speaker 2: Us the Microsoft Help. 00:21:43 Speaker 3: What do you say? 00:21:44 Speaker 7: I said, No, I don't know that is and keep goes out. 00:21:46 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. 00:21:51 Speaker 4: I gotta see Clippy, you know, mister Bill. 00:21:54 Speaker 3: Oh remember Clippy Clip was a beast? 00:21:58 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, clipp is the kid. 00:21:59 Speaker 1: It's the like your soft, like the original AI, almost to where it could just help you find things on your Now, what. 00:22:09 Speaker 3: Duys pro Clippy? Clippy really was AI before AI, and he does not get enough respect. No, I see all these threads about Claude. I need to see a thread about Clippy. 00:22:22 Speaker 7: Did you see the episode of the Office where Darryl's making his resume and he's on helpline and he goes, yeah, there was a paper clip that used to come up and help me make my resume, and I want to know where it went. 00:22:31 Speaker 3: Got it? 00:22:31 Speaker 2: It just ends up? 00:22:33 Speaker 1: Oh, all right, what else we got? 00:22:37 Speaker 2: Thank you again, mister white chocolate. 00:22:39 Speaker 1: If we didn't already reiterate that those are awesome gifts, we'll get him hung up. 00:22:43 Speaker 3: I wonder if we were in the I didn't mean to overlook on your phone, but you just received a book. 00:22:51 Speaker 6: Hey, y'all want to know what it is. 00:22:54 Speaker 8: It's about my uh my least renewal. Oh I think I've already said. 00:23:01 Speaker 6: On your court courtland. 00:23:03 Speaker 4: Are you going to resign? 00:23:04 Speaker 6: Yeah? 00:23:05 Speaker 3: I do. 00:23:05 Speaker 6: I can't move again. 00:23:07 Speaker 3: I mean you gotta started dropping lease uh like resigns like for how guy's correct? 00:23:13 Speaker 6: Yeah, I gotta I gotta resign there. 00:23:15 Speaker 4: Man, it's coming back up for your boy. 00:23:17 Speaker 9: Oh no, wait, really, how how many times have you moved in the last calendar year from today? 00:23:29 Speaker 4: Twice since? 00:23:31 Speaker 2: Or is it over that? 00:23:33 Speaker 4: No? Just once. I lived at the house this time last year, and then I moved into. 00:23:37 Speaker 1: The apartment So if I'd asked you this in January, though, it would have been too no. 00:23:41 Speaker 4: Because we moved into the house of September of twenty three. 00:23:44 Speaker 3: So have you been there for wit. 00:23:45 Speaker 4: September twenty four. 00:23:46 Speaker 6: Mitch is a nomad. 00:23:48 Speaker 4: I've lived in like five different places and four years of three years of being here. 00:23:53 Speaker 3: Five and three. Yeah, that is clippy. 00:23:58 Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean Brook and I are trying to figure out what we're gonna do. She wants to I personally, and I've talked to JP about it. I want to live in Australia for a year and it's like getting to getting to the age of like we want to get we want to have kids or whatever. 00:24:13 Speaker 4: Like that's like a thought. 00:24:13 Speaker 5: And also with Brook being in the medical field, I don't know how the medical field is like different in Australia, Like pas aren't really a thing over there, which is like scary. 00:24:22 Speaker 4: So it's like what we're gonna do. 00:24:24 Speaker 5: She wants to also live back out and like she had like a mental breakdown, like I don't know what I would do if we do not live back in California for a year, And I'm like, so, I that's something that we have to do. 00:24:35 Speaker 4: But it's like I'm going to be moving kind of. 00:24:39 Speaker 5: I know I'm going to be moving a lot, and I think that's yes, it's it's become a bit that I move a lot. But I also think like it's a it's a real thing. But I enjoy moving other than the Actually I enjoy living in different places. 00:24:53 Speaker 2: But you enjoy a new scene. 00:24:55 Speaker 4: Correct, Yeah, I get it. 00:24:56 Speaker 6: It's like two days of hell and then you're good for a while. 00:24:59 Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, like that hell, Yeah, I would. 00:25:03 Speaker 3: I would argue that moving is probably like one of the top three worst things that you can do in your in your personal life. 00:25:10 Speaker 2: I would argue for a one almost it's fun. 00:25:13 Speaker 3: I can't think of anything worse are you talking about? 00:25:16 Speaker 4: Just like the process, talking about the process. 00:25:19 Speaker 2: Thinking that you're done and then you aren't. 00:25:21 Speaker 1: You're halfway done, and then like the little things that collect and the amount of trips you gotta take from. 00:25:26 Speaker 6: A to B and once you move in you got to organize. 00:25:29 Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, that's half to do. 00:25:30 Speaker 6: That's like a that's like weeks. 00:25:32 Speaker 2: And then like you get your WiFi set up, things like that, little things you don't know about the. 00:25:37 Speaker 8: It's always something Comcast is the final cancels leaning against the wall, cancelings electric and water and like having a new Yeah. 00:25:47 Speaker 1: Dress, Shannon is about to move and we just toured an apartment yesterday for her, and we're doing one today and the one yesterday. I won't say it to dog them, but it's a new one going up in Wedgwood, Houston, and from the oulex I looking in, it looks very nice. But dude, they have a like one hundred seventy five dollars amenutity fee and all they have is a pool that they call a plunge pool. So it's tiny, a small weight room and that's it. One hundred and twenty five dollars to park, so it's three hundred dollars just like without rent. 00:26:20 Speaker 2: It all involved. And they also split utilities. 00:26:23 Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever heard of this because I'm not an apartment guy, but they split the electric bill in the common rooms. 00:26:29 Speaker 4: Yep, Brooks Building had to do that. Like so Brooke brook. 00:26:33 Speaker 2: In her roommate for a lobby lights to be onto. 00:26:36 Speaker 5: We're paying for like the gym lights and everything. It's like in reality it's an extra five to six bucks, but still It's like, that's kind of fuck that. 00:26:44 Speaker 3: Switch out Trump. 00:26:48 Speaker 8: All the fees are such I pay for parking and then I got my car broken into explain that logic. 00:26:53 Speaker 3: Oh, we don't in the garage. 00:26:54 Speaker 6: We don't have cameras. 00:26:56 Speaker 2: I don't have a window to pay for cameras. 00:26:57 Speaker 5: Yeah right, I don't know what our amenity fee is, Like we're we pay for like uh uh yeah, pest control, and like that ship doesn't. 00:27:09 Speaker 2: Work for the one we toured yesterday. 00:27:12 Speaker 1: Instead of physical keys, they have an application that you get on your phone you can scan in, so like on the surface level, I see, I'm like, all right, that'd be pretty cool. First door we go in, the tour keyworks perfectly. The next like six doors. It took like ten seconds each time, and she's like, oh, this doesn't need to happen. 00:27:27 Speaker 2: We go down. She's explaining it you have to pay to buy the app too, And now now I'm pissed. 00:27:33 Speaker 3: And so does she sign a better one today? 00:27:37 Speaker 1: And that one actually has real amenities? And yeah it's the fineries we're touring today. I won't say the one that I don't like, but they got a great pool and they have a half basketball court inside there. 00:27:48 Speaker 4: Yeah, that's epic. 00:27:49 Speaker 3: We uh we get free coffee, I mean obviously it's in some of the things. 00:27:53 Speaker 4: Yeah, we get free. Yeah, but we get but. 00:27:55 Speaker 3: It's like a coffee shop. Yeah, that's sick free coffee. 00:27:58 Speaker 2: Shop, not like a cure like machine. 00:28:00 Speaker 4: No. 00:28:00 Speaker 3: No, there's like are there and it's like including whatever. Then there's also a pet center where people that work they board their dog for the day. The worker will go take them out on like two walks. If you leave town, you can bring it there. And it's so much cheaper than normally boarding your dog. And I'm thinking, how in the world has every apartment complex. 00:28:19 Speaker 2: That would sell me in an apartment so fast? 00:28:21 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:28:21 Speaker 5: Yeah, they like I've seen like a bunch of the apartments that I like we've toured and have been in. They have like a dog washing area, like a pet wa yeah, or they'll have like my apartment has like a green way kind of like just turf area. 00:28:35 Speaker 2: For like a little like a dog run. 00:28:37 Speaker 5: Yeah, and they can just go out there and like pee and poopy and just pick up it. Well, you have a bag and you can throw it away. But like a watcher is sick. That's awesome. 00:28:45 Speaker 3: So what if moving is number one, what are some other things that are just war Like. 00:28:51 Speaker 1: My mind is so just all over the moving trail and how much it takes from you. There's gotta be maybe, I say, like each year, because it can sin. Having to file your taxes is definitely up there. It's not the hardest thing in the world, but it's just something that's. 00:29:06 Speaker 2: Always annoying to me. Yeah, one of the things in life that will always remain. 00:29:10 Speaker 5: I feel like, and I don't know if it's because my dad normally handles it most of the time, but like when you're buying a car and like haggling them and trying to go back and forth, and then all of the paperwork that you have to go through, and then just to find out. 00:29:24 Speaker 1: That I think I'm about to buy a car. I mean, I've told you guys that I'm overdue, but I've figured out this week what car I want. I want to buy a Toyota land Cruiser. 00:29:32 Speaker 2: Oh. 00:29:33 Speaker 1: I feel like I'm gonna have to buck up and buy like a newer one, and they're very expensive. 00:29:39 Speaker 2: But I've never. 00:29:40 Speaker 1: Gone through that process because I've always bought used cars and never bought from a dealership. 00:29:44 Speaker 2: So I don't know if that's the route, but if. 00:29:47 Speaker 1: Anyone out there works for a Toyota dealership and you want to point me in the right direction, we're looking for land cruisers. 00:29:52 Speaker 2: Baby, they spend. 00:29:54 Speaker 5: I always feel so awkward of like haggling and like negotiating, like come on, I guess it's down, and then they're like, this is I asked my manager. 00:30:02 Speaker 4: They have like they have like, oh yeah, this is the lowest, the absolute love. 00:30:07 Speaker 5: Okay, Well, we're gonna walk out, and he's like, well, let me go talk to him one more time. 00:30:12 Speaker 4: It's like, what are we doing here? 00:30:13 Speaker 6: It's like we're gonna we're gonna play. 00:30:15 Speaker 4: Yeah it is. How about we just meet in the middle. Let's just like I'll pay performance. It truly is. It's like it's like a. 00:30:23 Speaker 2: Song of that too. 00:30:24 Speaker 4: I just get so uncomfortable. 00:30:26 Speaker 5: Yeah, I get so uncomfortable, and like that's why my dad normally does it, and he just like, we're not doing that. 00:30:31 Speaker 4: Give us that, okay. 00:30:33 Speaker 3: So that's why Tesla is so intriguing to me, because I'm like, hey, let me just purchase this online and they'll just deliver it to me. I don't got to deal with anybody. The price is what the price is, and I think more car company should take that approach for those listening. And that segment was presented by. 00:30:51 Speaker 6: What else I have a I have a selfish one. It's gonna make me sound super selfish. 00:30:55 Speaker 2: Love it. 00:30:55 Speaker 8: I'm actually scared to say it, but I will. And this might be because I'm getting older. We're talking about like just super annoying inconvenient things, right, yeah, Christmas shopping. 00:31:06 Speaker 2: No, I I understand. I think I understand. 00:31:08 Speaker 8: It's it's not it's it's not about like I don't want to give people get Like that's not it at all. It is like the stress of all of a sudden, like the last few years, I found out how many people I like need to get a gift for and then finding them and then worrying about them getting I had a couple like stolen from my apartment, which I do love, but I have just so many problems out it. I talk about it out loud, like all of that, like getting them in and then like I live out of state, so I gotta like find a way to get them home, Like. 00:31:33 Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole fair, the whole. 00:31:36 Speaker 8: Like half of November December updil Christmas was so stressful just figuring all that out, Like just the logistics. Again, it's not about all the people I love, I love getting I'm excited to give them gifts. It's about finding out what to give, of the logistics of getting it to them, and then like the timing, it's all of it combined. 00:31:57 Speaker 5: It's because you like giving them so gifts they again it's because of Jesus Christ, because you enjoy giving the gifts. That makes it stressful because you want the gift to like be good. 00:32:08 Speaker 8: Yeah, but it's just like it literally feels like a sprint from November to December, like this has to happen in this window, and like obviously you can start a little earlier, which for some like little things. 00:32:18 Speaker 6: I would like if I see something that's. 00:32:20 Speaker 3: A good three moving, taxes, logistics of Christmas. 00:32:25 Speaker 2: Shopping, yeah, I'll hang my hat on that. 00:32:29 Speaker 4: Yeah, buying cars for oh yeah, true, true. 00:32:33 Speaker 3: Buying a car. 00:32:33 Speaker 2: Once I go through that process, I'll reevalue that. 00:32:35 Speaker 5: That's not something you do all that often. So I understand that like taxes, moving and. 00:32:41 Speaker 3: Midge, Midge about to start buying cars like he moves apartments. 00:32:45 Speaker 4: I can't afford that, dude. 00:32:46 Speaker 2: Definitely dropping the comments one of the most annoying things. 00:32:49 Speaker 4: I feel like there's fat ones that were missing. 00:32:52 Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's all we need comments. We'll revisit this. We always need a Vince session. 00:32:57 Speaker 3: We always need one. 00:32:58 Speaker 5: We were talking about it briefly this morning, and we want to do a social video about it. And I think I don't know if I saw JP tweet about it, Like the best sports tournaments. 00:33:07 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like do a bracket for the best? 00:33:10 Speaker 4: Yeah, off the top, Like what is like everybody's top three? 00:33:14 Speaker 3: Number one is the World Cup. There's no better atmosphere because there's no better buying from fans. If all you gotta do is just look up the first goal of the twenty ten World Cup in South Africa, when how you say his name hits the goal, they hit the dance in the corner. Look up that one, and then also look up Argentina's parade from the last World Cup, and it's like Americans think we go hard. Philadelphia thinks they go hard for a Super Bowl parade. They do not touch argent and celebrating. 00:33:45 Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why. 00:33:47 Speaker 3: I said, Philly, So I got I got World Cup number one for me. 00:33:52 Speaker 8: Uh, I don't know, Man, turn this out, Like that includes like small playoffs, right, yes. 00:34:01 Speaker 2: All, Like we're talking March Maddens, college football playoffs, NFL playoffs. 00:34:06 Speaker 5: One that gets like a lot of that gets a lot of views. It's like, I don't know. To me, it's sneaky because I'm not in. It is Wimbledon, and like it's one of the highest viewed on TV. 00:34:16 Speaker 3: It comes at the perfect time of the year, right around fourth of July. Everyone is typically off of work. It also happens in the morning, so it's like the first thing you can do and you still have the whole rest of your day. We've been blessed with great tennis players over the last twenty five years in the transition from Federer to al Karaz, so like you'll probably see the greatest tennis player to ever play tennis in the next twenty finals of Wimbledon, plus Djokovic. I mean I would as a big tennis fan, I could probably put Wimbledon at two and three. Is so tough for me because like I love college football, and I'm sure if South Carolina has one one of them, I would put college football. But we haven't as a kid. I used to love the NBA finals. Three is so. 00:35:02 Speaker 8: Hard NBA and NHL, and I like, I don't like the NBA as much anymore. But when the Mavericks used to be good and they're playing playoffs, the thing I love about It's kind of true for baseball too. I feel like baseball's a little shorter. NHL and NBA playoffs are like such a marathon. Yeah, it's truly like a postseason. It is like almost three months of high like playoff sports. And I just feel like, obviously love the NFL. That's that feels very quick to me. Always like yeah, right, it's week in, week in, week in, Bam, super Bowl. Those are like you got a game every two days. There's like five to seven of them in each series. There's a ton of series, and I mean, I don't even know. They start in like May and end in mid June or something like. 00:35:44 Speaker 4: It starts like late April and goes into it. 00:35:46 Speaker 8: It's just like June generally, like it just a completely new season, right rather than just all right, here's the teams and they're gonna play a few games and decide the champions, Like no, you gotta That's why Lebron has so many like extra seasons under his belt because he's played so many postseasons. Like I don't know what year it is in the NBA for him, but it's it's he's probably played like eight more right, cumulative seasons. But I do enjoy that about NHL and NBA, Like those are up there for me just because of the longevity of them. 00:36:16 Speaker 5: I think I would put like I just watched, like the other day, the like the Preds in their run to the Stanley Cup, and I'm like, and especially with the way the Olympics just went, like the hockey culture, I'm like really starting to buy into. I think Stanley Cup's definitely in the top three. I would put NFL playoffs at number one, just being a football guy. Probably Stanley Cup at two, And I like the World Cup is like obvious to me. But just like I think of like fan pop moments and like I feel like baseball has that. 00:36:48 Speaker 6: I was gonna say, I hyped up NHL and NBA. My my number one goes with that. 00:36:53 Speaker 8: Zayies baseball, like the crowd pops from a postseason home run are just dude. 00:36:57 Speaker 5: I watched the insane the Dominican Republican Venezuela will Baseball Classic highlights. 00:37:01 Speaker 4: It was poll play time like it was insane. 00:37:06 Speaker 8: And that's like the World Baseball Classic goes crazy obviously because it's countries and yeah, like you know, but the like World Series and the just to play, like the the atmosphere in October Baseball it is just like insane, like it. 00:37:20 Speaker 6: It's Fall like Fall Classic for a reason. 00:37:24 Speaker 8: The ball flies a little further, every every pitch matters a little more like it's I love baseball, so I'm biased for that part. 00:37:31 Speaker 5: I think I still think baseball needs to shorten their season. Yes, every year comes down to like the playoffs, like it comes down to a singular game, but I feel like that would have happened no matter how long your season. 00:37:41 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:37:41 Speaker 6: The only problem with that is baseball is just so old. 00:37:45 Speaker 8: They've been doing it for that way for so long, and it's just like the players won't let that happen because it'll change their money. And also I feel the same way about the NFL adding games, like all the history books and the records. Yeah, all these great players that are about to like come to pass in the future that we don't even know about yet, right, like, what are their career stats and records like all gonna look like compared to a dude like Aaron Judge or do like Alex Rodriguez. 00:38:12 Speaker 3: What for Lebron's legacy? 00:38:13 Speaker 6: What does this mean for Lebron's legacy? 00:38:15 Speaker 8: But I I like I see short end the season, but I really don't. 00:38:20 Speaker 5: And more so, it just sounds like hell as a baseball player, because I think Bryce said like one hundred and sixty two games in like one hundred and ninety days. 00:38:27 Speaker 3: It is. 00:38:27 Speaker 4: It's a lot like eighteen days off in six months, and. 00:38:31 Speaker 6: They got like the shortest offseason. 00:38:33 Speaker 3: It feels like the four hundred mil I'm in. 00:38:36 Speaker 6: I'm just like going to work every day we do that. 00:38:38 Speaker 2: I'm going NFL playoffs at number one. 00:38:40 Speaker 1: It's the only playoff or sporting event that I've got to experience. 00:38:44 Speaker 2: My team. 00:38:44 Speaker 1: The Titans make a run at two away games back to back, which will forever be one of my favorite memories as a sports fan, even though we lost the. 00:38:52 Speaker 2: AFC Championship to the Chiefs. 00:38:54 Speaker 1: And there's something about it now that working with busting the fact that we get a week off right after Super Bowl that like psychologically does something to me where I'm like, man, I love this time of year. My second will be March Madness, because I mean the first weekend of March Madness is unbeatable. And I'm actually gonna be in Vegas next weekend for a buddy's bachelor party for that with like twenty dudes might go to the Eagles. We're gonna watch out or hang out, watch ball. It's gonna be fun. So March Madus two. Number three that our Shocks hasn't even made a list is the Masters. The Master's Weekend is Even if you've never watched golf for more than five minutes in the year, you're tuned in at some point to the Masters. Some about it makes you want to get back on the course. It's coming up here soon. When you see the promos start going with a Georgia Georgia, I mean you start getting chilled. 00:39:43 Speaker 2: So some about that one of those that I want to make a trip down for really bad, like probably for a practice round. 00:39:49 Speaker 1: Experience the concession food. It's legendary. The cheap prices. Yeah, just put your phone up for the day, not even worry about it. 00:39:56 Speaker 2: Use one of the phones they have there. 00:39:58 Speaker 5: They have like those like pay just like not being able to use your phone beer and it's. 00:40:03 Speaker 3: Like, did you I went two years ago? 00:40:06 Speaker 4: Like it's what like a beer is like five bucks Sananches. 00:40:09 Speaker 3: The sandwiches are super cheap. I can't remember. The beers might be normal priced, but all the concessions like pimento cheese sandwich two dollars. 00:40:17 Speaker 4: Yeah, all that. 00:40:18 Speaker 3: You know, the merch is so expensive. But you're walking around at the Masters is one of those experiences. It's almost like going to the Grand Canyon and seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time, you're just speechless. It doesn't feel real. The Masters doesn't feel real. It's so well kept and it's so big. You're like cutting across whole number one and with the whole crowding, you just look to the left and look to the right. You do feel like you're not even in a You definitely don't feel like you're in Augusta, Georgia because for those of I have been that have not been to Augusta, Georgia, it's almost a nothing city. Yeah, and to have all of just that golf oasis right in the middle of it, it's too pure. Hopefully it can go again, but it's definitely worth. 00:41:01 Speaker 5: Yeah, I would. I would love to go. I've had, like you've gone to a practice around. I've had a couple buddies good. 00:41:05 Speaker 3: Yeah, I went to Saturday oh, which was fun. Now, but I will say I think practice rounds might be better because everything is way more relaxed. I've never been to him, but. 00:41:17 Speaker 2: The golfers are like interacting more. 00:41:19 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:41:19 Speaker 1: Yeah, I've heard the tensions that as big. Also an honorable mention before we kind of close this one out. 00:41:25 Speaker 3: I got to hear Derek's too. 00:41:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Derek I is, and I feel like we would all agree with this. He's either a summer or winter Olympics. I don't know if that's in this mold. Yeah, and I would love to know if we're summer or Olympic people. But I want to hear from Derek his top three. 00:41:39 Speaker 7: Yeah, it'd be woke up one. I think to your point, JP, the moments to come out of it are it is a universal language. Like there's one too with Mario Gutse when they're subbing him in in like the one hundred and eleventh minute in double overtime and he says, go win this for your country, and he subbed on in one and it's just cool. Two would be NFL playoffs. I've been blessed with some runs nineteen years ago that were really good, and so we're happy about that. 00:42:02 Speaker 3: Uh. 00:42:02 Speaker 7: Another one that's interesting is Champions League. Like Champions League is the World Cup, but equivalent of soccer clubs, And so it turns out there but three dejects. One is Masters because it's like I don't watch golf a ton, but watching the same course and the same shots. Oh he hit it there. Phil did that thirteen years ago and needs to. 00:42:18 Speaker 2: Say the corner is just gonna kill some people. 00:42:20 Speaker 4: Beautiful. 00:42:21 Speaker 7: I used my entire family plans data one time just watching the Masters in a two day span because it right. 00:42:28 Speaker 2: Thank you, yeah for an American. 00:42:31 Speaker 3: Now to close it out, we can choose. 00:42:33 Speaker 2: Our summer Winter Olympics. 00:42:34 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm I'll start since I proposed it, and it is very tough because I love snowboarding so much, and especially this past Winter Olympics, it felt like bigger than it ever has on, just like such as big scale and everyone was super tuned in. But I'm gonna have to go summer because there's nothing like watching the swimming and the running and I something about it just feels more pure to me and like winners, like all right, we're gonna throw this in so we can give you guys a two year break and like so we don't have to wait a whole like election cycle to see the next races. 00:43:04 Speaker 2: But that's where I'm at. I'm a summer Olympics guy. 00:43:06 Speaker 3: I will also go summer and I can just chop it up right to the or chalk it up to the track events. I love everything else but track. I feel like it's the first thing as human beings that we ever compete in, right, just in our everyday life. It's a race. The first thing you ever competed in was a race against somebody. Yeah, And there's just something about that feeling being the fastest. 00:43:31 Speaker 4: Yeah, and to. 00:43:32 Speaker 2: Get to watch we're the fastest. 00:43:34 Speaker 3: I bet we all were the fastest at our schools. 00:43:36 Speaker 1: Well, talking about from from the jump, you know we were the fast. 00:43:41 Speaker 3: True, we won the first race. 00:43:43 Speaker 6: See, I was thinking, like racing a recess like so JP very clearly is talking about sperm. 00:43:52 Speaker 3: Recess. 00:43:53 Speaker 6: Yeah, they're both. 00:43:56 Speaker 3: Valid, there they are. So I'm gonna go Summer Olympics. 00:44:02 Speaker 8: Mine is not even close and mine is like more tied into the memory of like all the legends from the Summer Olympics and like, don't get me wrong, Winter Olympics. Growing up watching Sean White and Apollo Antono, no, like that was obviously iconic. The Summer Olympics. Just waiting to see Usain Bolt run or Michael Phelps swim. It's just like and just like as a kid, I just love summer more so it's summer break and like the Summer Olympics and all these legends, So it's summer for me by far. 00:44:33 Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like it kind of I don't know if it's gonna be a clean sweep with Derek, but summer it truly is like the swimming and the track and field and then it's like the soccer league football, but now the flag's in there, I'm gonna be tapped in. I'm gonna be trying to make the team, but I don't think I have any shot. 00:44:49 Speaker 2: But you're gonna be pretty old by then. 00:44:52 Speaker 4: Is it a next Olympics? 00:44:54 Speaker 6: Yeah, I look, you got you gotta get on it. 00:44:56 Speaker 4: Then I'll be twenty nine, almost thirty prime. 00:45:00 Speaker 5: The way the way my athleticism is going, what I with my age, I feel like that might be my peak. 00:45:05 Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I'm just trying to motivate you. That's all. 00:45:08 Speaker 4: That's what I need. 00:45:09 Speaker 6: There's people that's been preparing for that team for years now, so you gotta. 00:45:13 Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know how do you get even get in those crowds? So it is what it is, Derek. 00:45:21 Speaker 7: I'm summer as well, but for the reason that, like every summer event is what I like to do for fun and so to watch like basketball or swimming or even running in track and be like, oh, that's why I can't do it. 00:45:32 Speaker 4: Winter. 00:45:33 Speaker 7: I can't snow, I can't skateboard, I can I can ice skate, but I can play hockey. So summer being obtainable and then being like, oh, it's not obtainable at all made it my favorite. 00:45:41 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:45:42 Speaker 3: When I when I was working at IMG this is Summer Olympic story, there was this guy that was trained and obviously he was a track dude. I started talking it up with him a little bit. I'm asking him, Oh, where are you from. I'm from tradad and Tobago. Uh you know, what what events do you do? 00:45:58 Speaker 4: I do? 00:45:58 Speaker 3: You know the one hundred meter in the two hundred meter. I was like, oh, snap, have you ever been to the Olympics. He's like yeah, three times. I was like, oh dang, and this was so this was in twenty nineteen. So I was like, which Olympics twenty two thousand and eight, twenty twelve, twenty sixteen, did you have a favorite? Which one was your favorite? 00:46:18 Speaker 4: Well? 00:46:18 Speaker 3: Probably the I think it was a twenty twelve one. And he was like. I was like, oh, you know, how'd you do? You ever get a medal? He's like, yeah, I got silver. And I was like, you see in the one hundred meter. It's like, so you were you raced you sain Bolt? He was like yeah I did. And you see how you don't know my name? I'm thinking wow. He was like a lot of people say he's like you know, or I like to say, I'm the fat I was the fastest man from Earth in twenty twelve because you say bold, there's no way he's from this planet. And I'm like, dude, that and that is just the testament to track of it being like you're leader. You're either you sain Bolt or you're my guy. Richard Thompson, who's was the second fastest man in the world would have won gold in any other Olympics. But because he's going against Usain Bolt in his peak, we barely know who he is and he actually coaches and coaches ant teachers at IMG Now amazing. Guy couldn't have a better attitude. But I was just thinking, wow, man, like this is the margins in track. 00:47:19 Speaker 5: Is Usain Bolt like the perfect name for like his sport? Yes, I think of like any sport ever, like baseball, Like he. 00:47:28 Speaker 1: Has the first run in recess that he was gonna be the fastest kid too with that name you grow up. 00:47:34 Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean with the name of like Bolt, like you have to be fast. And it's like you saying, like I call him insane Bolt. 00:47:42 Speaker 2: But because she's insane, it is there. 00:47:46 Speaker 4: I know I'm really cooking. 00:47:50 Speaker 3: All right, like end some episode on some laughs. 00:47:53 Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the time? 00:47:54 Speaker 3: Add fifty seven eight boom perfect. 00:47:58 Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a from last week. Thank you for speaking with us. Last week was a little bit of a lull. 00:48:03 Speaker 6: We're getting back. 00:48:06 Speaker 2: I didn't want to look at the comments. 00:48:07 Speaker 1: I'm not gonna look at him again this week because the oiler fandom they're gonna kill me. 00:48:10 Speaker 5: But I thought Luckily there weren't any bad ones last week. Now that we're saying it, they're gonna go back and be like, yeah, that was actually kind of shit, but that was completely on me for man same bolt Well technical difficulties, but we're back. 00:48:24 Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for tuning in with us. Episode thirty nine. 00:48:27 Speaker 1: Next week, episode forty, I have to plump on again because he's turning forty soon. 00:48:31 Speaker 5: That actually I was number forty growing up in every sport, So it's like, next. 00:48:36 Speaker 2: Week is Mitch's episode is set? Your fuck? 00:48:40 Speaker 3: I can't wait to find out how you laid it on number forty. Thanks
