WWE RAW Review: Liv Morgan Pursues Dominick Mysterio, Priest vs Mysterio, Bron Breakker vs Ricochet, Early Money in the Bank News

ass this minn you can acknowledge me. Hey guys, welcome to the w
podcast. Time to talk about the Monday Night Raw review here as we are
a week away from the event here in Scotland Clashed the Castle and even on
Monday Night Raw we had a couple of stars talk about money in the bank.
I believe it was jay Uso and Lyra Valkyria who both spoke about money
in the bank and what their next goals are. So I wouldn't anticipate that
either of them are going to do much at the next ple e and they're
going to kind of frog leap it and go to the next pl e that
they're setting their sights on. And I think that's a good idea. You
know, as we look to Clash at the Castle, there's not really a
ton of new rivalries. A few, but most of it is when we're
when all of a sudden done, rather when we look up and down the
cart. It's going to be a lot of repeat matches and to me.
You know, I look at this I look at this event. It's going
to be crazy. You know, there's gonna be dueling, chance, there's
gonna be all these things that like it was in Leon, France, which
I have very conflicting feelings about, but I think this is really, to
me the last of the WrestleMania leftovers. I know we're not in WrestleMania season
anymore, but after you get a couple of pls past Mania, things start
to hit, you get reset, not in preparation for next year's WrestleMania,
but more of just starting to look ahead to what could happen for SummerSlam.
And that's how I kind of view this event. This is kind of the
last of the leftovers of the programs from WrestleMania, and starting with Money in
the Bank, I think we're really going to start to see some new rivalries,
new matchups, and big progress and stories. Not that we haven't got
a lot of progress, but it feels kind of like WW has been in
a lull, still producing honestly, I think very really good content given that
they don't have a ton of major star power. Given prior to WrestleMania,
how many stars they had at their disposal. I mean, take a look
at SmackDown. I remember SmackDown before WrestleMania. I mean, I'm pretty sure
there was a SmackDown that the Rock and Roman and the Bloodline took up about
forty five minutes to an hour of the show. I mean they were literally
half of SmackDown at one point. And now we are just waiting in the
wings. And it's a good time, not just because we're waiting for those
stars to return, and they will in the next few months, but more
of just giving new talent a chance. We're getting this is the time for
a new talent to really give themselves an opportunity, or rather take advantage of
the opportunities that they're given. Bron Breaker is a breakout star, no pun
intended, right you look at him. Lyra Valkyria, as I just mentioned,
has gotten some airtime Alba Fire and Eila Dawn recently, just on this
past night, le are getting a chance to make a name for themselves and
get into the tag team title picture for the women, among others. So
this is a time. And yes, we have the Wiatt family or whatever
they're going to be known as, with Bo Dallas or Uncle Howdie whatever the
weird formation that's going to be is coming soon too, with new stars presumably,
so you know, that is also a good thing. You know,
while it isn't exactly loaded with star power and headline news, we're getting really
good quality wrestling. I think from bell to bell, we're seeing some progress
and stories. We're seeing stars that have been in recent years kind of pushed
to the side really rise up, like Live Morgan. We're seeing older stars
being phased out and take breaks like seth rollins like Becky Lynch. You know,
we're seeing stars, of course waiting in the wings to come back.
But this is the time, if you're a new star to really make a
name for yourself because you don't have the overshadowing big star that everyone's waiting to
see, and they don't care what you're doing. They just want to see
what's going on with the main story. So it's a good time to really
assess where the newer stars are. And it's a for a lot of people,
not the best or most fun process because everyone wants the big stars now.
But there's an infancy stage of stars stardom and as they continue to grow
and continue to mature and continue to find out who they are and what works
what doesn't. It's not gonna be a fun process the whole time. You're
gonna see some bad stuff, you're gonna see some good stuff, you're gonna
see some in between stuff. So I know I'm not saying I'm saying a
whole bunch without saying a whole lot. My point is this is a of
kind of a transitional time for WWE, as we phase out completely of last
year's programs and we now get into the new programs where we can talk about
SummerSlam a little bit. Obviously, money in the bank was even mentioned un
raw and now we can even project out to WrestleMania if we want. We
can have a start having a little fun. So all right, well,

community here in Albany for the SmackDown that just came through, so again we
would continue to be a mediocre crowd for wrestling. All right, Well,
if you hear me drink it throughout the show, I will do my best
to not no hear you let you hear me drink because I know that's annoying.
But I'd just say one thing about a recent drink that I have really
gotten into non alcoholic, although I do have a lot of alcoholic things.
I like, I really thought I hated sparkling water. Maybe it's tonic water
I hate. But if you guys drink Bubbly, that the sparkled water.
I mean it's got all different flavors, Raspberry, it's got lime, it's
got strawberry, it's got coconut, pineapple, all these different combinations. I
mean, I'm going through like three cans a day, sometimes four. I
mean, there's no calories, but it's a lot of carbonation, and I
don't know what it is like lately, I've just been obsessed with them.

advertisement Bubbly for free. Well, anyway, let's get into Mondainett Raw here
emanated from as I said, Hershey, Pennsylvania, and a lot of good
wrestling here. But we got highlights of Live Morgan beating Becky Lynch for the
women's World title and then the follow up match that happened at last week's Raw
with the cage match that ended with Yes Live retaining. But the bigger story
was Live Kissing Dom. Live comes out though, and Morgan said that it's
the revenge to her is never as sweet once you finally get it, but
that's not the case for her. She boasted that she took out Rhea and
became the new champion. Morgan claimed that she put Becky Lynch into an early
retirement. And Morgan said the cherry on top of it all was Kissing Dom
and she talked about how the foot the video footage of that had over forty
million views in less than twenty four hours, which is pretty wild and you
think about it, and given that Live and Dom aren't exactly you know,
household names, that's a hell of a lot of viewership. So kudos to
w and both of them for achieving that number. That's pretty pretty impressive.
Dom come out, came out pretty quickly though, and he is seeing his
arm in a sling is so much. I mean, I know he's selling
it a little bit, but also he's injured in real life. And this
mustache is brilliant. His hair is brilliant. Dom tried to speak, but
the crowd was booing him very heavily. You suck Champ broke out, and
you know, I'm going to advocate for While I appreciate the crowd and booing
him, it's kind of become just a thing that people do now to Dom.
But here's what I would counter argue to that. Yes, very few
heels have that kind of heat, but it doesn't feel like it's I don't
know if it's really one hundred percent just heat on him that people hate him
so much right now. I think it's more of just that's become a part
of his stick, a part of just what people do to him. I
mean, it feels like that motivation shifted a bit to that. And what
I would argue is that let him speak, you know, just because you
know, if you want to boom a little bit, fine, but I
mean, I would plead with the audience, hey, let's see what he's
got to say. And the reason is I think it helps him become a
better heel. He's kind of flatlined, although very successful. So I don't
know really why I'm complaining about it, but I feel like he can you
send even higher if we're able to hear how good he is. And you
know, Dom must be saying to himself, how am I supposed to get
better at promos? If the crowd won't even let me talk? And some
someone may say, well, if he's getting that kind of reaction, it
doesn't need to Yes, he does. He's going to have to learn it
eventually. Eventually this will burn off and he's going to have, you know,
whatever skill he has at that left. And right now, I don't
know what his ability of being a heel is in terms of cutting great promos,
because all he does is get booed and muted off the mic because of
the crowd. So I'll plead with the crowd, Hey, if you want
to see Dom kind of progress a little bit and move beyond just what he's
shown us, let him talk. Let's see what he's got to say.
I mean, Honestly, here's here's a very fun experiment if I could.
Next week Dom comes out and in WWE is anticipating that the crowd's going to
just completely wash out anything Dom has to say. Therefore, they don't really
have much for him to say. I would love to see what the crowd
does, or what WW does, or Dom specifically does, if when Dom
comes out people just kind of boo initially, but they let him talk completely.
What does Dom have to say? How does he speak? We don't
even know because people boo him so much. And again it's it is a
fun thing or you know, kind of unique thing for a heel that you
know, the crowd won't even let you speak. But it is in a
weird way, hindering his ability to progress as a as a performer, as
a heel. It really is. But hey, if this continues to continues,
people still love to see Dom get his ass kicked. And I've already
gone into a spiral and we're only five minutes into the show. All right,
let's continue. It's really not a complain. I don't know if the
label it as a complaint more of just like a hey, let's see what
Dom has to say. All right, so let's see. Morgan promised she
would make it all worth it to Domm. She said rather. Dom finally
got a sentence out and said, Mommy isn't playing the same game, and
when she comes back, she's going to kill you. That was interesting.
When's the last time, by the way, you heard anyone say the word
kill on air? That's I mean, it's not a cuss word. It's
just a word that's usually almost never used. And the reason is you can
ever follow through on it. Obviously it's an over exaggeration, but but it
was strong because people very rarely use that word. Anyone else catch that.
So Morgan promised that she'd make it all worth it and asked how long he
would keep lying to himself and tried to come on to Dom. Finn Balor
broke it up and tried to kind of cut the sexual tension between them.
She rubbed Dom's hair, left the ring and hey, women are into Dom.
I don't know what it is. I mean, he's he's pulled right
out of a nineteen eighty two He's like a nineteen eighty two movie villain with
the mullet and the mustache. You know, I think he's a plaid cut
off sleeve shirt away from actually being a real life movie villain from nineteen eighty
two. But it's working, and somehow he's a chick magnet on the show.
All right, But I mean, I don't know it's Dominic Mysterio.
I don't know what the endgame is for him. But I here's what I
would say, future world champion. That's to me the end game for Dominic
Mysterio. When does that happen? I was to guess probably not for a
year. This time next year we could be talking about a Dominic Mysterio world
title reign. But right now doesn't seem to be in the cards, as
other players are aiming for it, like Drew, like Punk, Damian Priest
is, in all likelihood's still going to remain in the picture for a little
while at least so and Seth Rollins when he comes back. Of course,
So right now it doesn't seem like Dominic is in the cards yet. But
in a year maybe right a world title reign with dom would be fun.
The only problem with it would be if his character is what it is right
now, do you want to heal champion that you know is eminently beatable?
He's a weak champion, but he gets away with it because he has backup,
or do you want a strong champion that he's actually a threat to beat
the baby Faces straight out? I mean, so that you have to kind
of weigh that. I don't know the answer to that, So we'll talk
about it when we get there. Obviously we're nowhere near that yet. So
Seamus was interviewed backstage and she said he said that Kaiser drop real bombs and
when he was attacked by him last week, Seamus played up the idea that
Gunther was holding back Kaiser, and Seamus said Kaiser had a chance to see
whether he could go toe to toe with him, and said it was always
about seeing whether the fellow across the rink can gain his respect, and Seamus
said the way to do it is to put on a put on banger after
banger. Well, is that really the way? Is the way to have
a good match? This is something here he goes again. But I love
Seamus, I really do. I think he is one of the unsung heroes
of the company in the last ten years or more. Really he's been around
for longer than that. Obviously, he is a guy that is works stiff.
He feels like an authentic badass. You feel like they never really got
truly everything they could out of him. I think the issue I take with
this is not specifically Seamus. It's more of the kind of a running theme
through a lot of promos is put on a we put on a great match,
We had a banger after a banger in Seamus's case, you know,
we tore the house down, we stole the show. I don't like that
stuff because that should be stuff for fans to talk about, or even announcers
to talk about. It shouldn't be what the the wrestlers themselves talk about.
And you may say why, well, the goal of the wrestlers, as
we're supposed to believe, is to win matches. So if your goal,
you're telling me in what you're telling me, is the way to gain respect
is to put on a banger after banger, or have a historic match or
steal the show, well, then your goal is kind of in contrast with
what we're supposed to believe that you're in the match for. If you're in
there to just perform and put on a good match, that's a byproduct of
a match. It shouldn't be what you tell us the goal is because then
it kind of skews what wrestling is. Right. We're supposed to and want
to believe that you're there to win the damn thing, and if you happen
to have an awesome match, well then that's secondary. Again, that's byproduct.
It's just something that occurs in the in their pursuit of trying to win
the match. I've always had an issue with that. It's again, it's
not specific to Seamus. I mean, my god, how many times Sasha
Banks talked about making history and all this crap. They're like, again,
I understand, making history is important, but it shouldn't be what the wrestlers
are focused on or even sometimes knows. It should be something for the announcers
to talk about, even the GMS if they want to talk about it.
Just something that I've been annoyed with for quite a while, just generally across
professional wrestling. But all right, Seamous versus Ludwig Kaiser then happened, and
it's fairly long match. Here Ludwig Kaiser beat Seamus. How did it happen?
Well, here, Seamus sent Kaiser over the top then hit him with
the ten beats plus three Seamus put Kaiser on his shoulders and climbed to the
middle rope, but Kaiser slipped away and kicked back the sorry kicked the back
of his bad leg. Kaiser rolled up Seamus and got the three counts.
So the dreaded roll up returns. And I actually have no issue with this
none. Kaiser has recently rid himself of Giovanni Vinci. He is now the
right hand man so to speak, of Gunther. They seem to be positioning
him for a singles breakout career at some point, and it makes sense.
I mean, Seamus, like Randy Orton is Teflon. There's not anything you
can really do to hurt this person. There's not really anything you can do.
So Kaiser needs the victory infinitely more than Seamus does. And it makes
sense that Kaiser gets the victory because you're trying to build on something with him
right now, even if it is in a roll up way. I don't
care. You know, Kaiser needs victories after how many times you saw him
lose, especially with Vinci by his side, So Kaiser does actually need victories.
I liked it. We getting more QR code flashes. Fine, I'm
ready to just get the reveal. I mean, please, can we get
the reveal? Who is it? How many? Is it six yet?
Is it six? Wyatt members? Is it? You know? Uncle Howdy?
I mean, is it Alexa Bliss? Who knows? Can we just
get to it? I'm ready. Anyway, let's see, we got a
whole bunch of dominic and priests in the back and take care of it,
and we run Monday Night raw and what's the issue? And I don't want
to hear about it? And you know Carloto constantly trying to make good with
the judgment day and so anyway, we get Dragon Lee making his entrance and
we get him versus Finn Balor in this match lasted eight and a half minutes
with Finn Baler beating Dragon Lee and this ended with Baalor going after Lee,
who pushed him back to the mat and then dove on to Carlito Yes he
was at ringside. McDonough ran over ate a super kick from Lee, who
then returned to the ring and was hit by Balor with a shotgun dropkick.
Balor followed up with the coudu gras and got the victory. After the match,
though braun Stroman, who continues to just decide to pick a fight with
the Judgment Day. So I don't feel bad that he gets beat down after
the match here, because you know, broun Strowman is the one who's choosing
to fight the Judgment Day, continuing to pick a fight with the group in
which he is out numbered four to one. I have no sympathy for Braun
Stroman. Here. Bron Stroman was an attacked at random by this group.
Bron Stroman picked this fight. So again, I know people pop for Braun
in a mildly kind of a significant way. You know. The big this
the shirt that he's wearing that said, that's one big so white SOB.
I think it said, I guess. I mean, it's better than the
Monster among monsters or the Monster among men. I'll take one big SOB.
Maybe he got them from Pat McAfee, but I like the shirt. Actually,
I think it's appropriate. So let's see Stroman chase the Judgment Day.
They all hoped the barricade, and oh the beatdown came in the Carlito mat.
Okay, so the beatdown of Stroman comes a little bit later, but
it still happens. All Right, we got let's see I guess and this
is a little bit off the record, or not off the record, but
off topic. So this big I guess McAfee was referring earlier in his show,
his show not w to the WNBA star Caitlin Clark as a quote white
b and rhymes with itch get it. And then I guess he was spoofing
that by talking about on Stroman's one big white SOB. I mean, so
in this particular rundown of it, the analysis is such that it feels that
McAfee's apology for calling Caitlin Clark that ran a bit hollow when he mocked it
by calling Stroman that so. I mean, I don't really particularly have any
feelings about this. I don't have a strong feelings about really the WNBA at
all. I don't think most people do. Although Caitlin Clark, if you
care even a little bit about the WAWNBA, is single handedly making it a
topic of conversation, which in and of itself is a pretty big deal because
you don't hear anyone ever talking about the WNBA. It's just a fact.
So Caitlin Clark's making it relevant, at least in the short term. We'll
see how long this WNBA interest with Kitlin Clark lasts. I mean, there's
a lot going on there, but I'll stay on topic with wrestling. So
all right, we then have more Judgment Day stuff backstage, which seems to
take up like six segments every raw Our Truth and uh Miss had a segment
and was trying to uh, you know, he had a moment there where
he said that, you know, you're obsessed with the Judgment Day of the
Miss and you know, it was kind of funny, kind of a bit
of a pot calling the kettle black type of moment for Our Truth. And
it almost feels like you forgot they were tag team champions, which is not
the best thing. I mean, I didn't think they would even make it
as far as tag team champions. They I think every time that they defend
it, they have a very like the chances of them dropping it every time
they defend it increase exponentially, and I think the next time they defend those
belts, there's a very good chance they could lose them. But well we'll
see, maybe I'm wrong. All right, let's continue. We got Samy's
ain coming out and giving his usual screaming message, I'm Sammy, You're a
good to very good promo. You don't need to scream in your promo within
twelve seconds of delivering it. I know, maybe it's just a bad habit,
maybe you're amped up before the show. Maybe you just have a ton
of passion for what you're doing, and i'd imagine you do. But the
screaming. Can we not get constant screaming? Please? I appreciate the passion,
I really do. Once in a while, that's fine, but it's
just even your run of the mill pro no matter what's going on, he's
trying to emote passion and he's yelling calm down, bra. But I do
love to I do like Sammy. I think he's got a lot to offer
and at some point he could be even back in the world title picture.
But at least in this segment here he was involved in a very good segment,
very good. And this this Alpha Academy stuff is just getting better by
the day because we got the Alpha Academy who came out quickly after Sammy Zaine
was talking and they were delivering. Specifically, Maxine dupri was delivering a message
to Sammy on behalf of Chad Gable and it was just well done by Maxine.
It ended up being a setup as Chad attack Sammy from behind, and
each of them looked like they were going to step up to Gable. The
pops were massive, even for both to Zawa and Duprie for them to finally
stop taking this abuse from Chad Gable. You thought maybe Otis was going to
do something. He didn't. He ends up slamming down Zayane and then walking
off. But the crowd, boy, are they ready to see Gable get
his ass kicked? And the are they ready to embrace Otis? I hope
it's something he can springboard from. It's not gonna last forever even when the
turn happens, probably at clash of the Castle, but boy it is.
It's a joy to watch this storyline really just so much fun. Chad Gable
is playing his part perfectly. Otis is playing it perfectly. Max Scene and
Yes Tizaua are both playing their roles very well. Maxine getting on her knees
and begging Gable, and the announcers are saying, what's wrong with you?
Have some self respect? I mean, it's all very well done. Gable
being his physical and emotional abusive self is a treat to behold. Just just
great. The constant insults on the people he tells to follow him and win
back our championship, and he's just this manipulative SOB and I want Chad every
day twice on Sunday. That's what I mean. Chad has been transformed to
me by this heel turn. So I'm I'm right with you and everyone.
Here's the thing. Here's a perfect example of when someone says to you,
ah, wrestlings, wrestling sucks. It's too predictable. Here's a perfect example
of Yes, we know Otis is eventually and to pre end Tzawa, but
more specifically, Otis are eventually going to snap on Chad Gable. They're eventually
going to beat his ass. Yes, we one hundred percent know this without
a doubt. But are you being like you feel that this is this eventual
payoff is being deterred because it's predictable. No, No, it's not.
So That's what I would say to someone who says, though predictabilities sucks,
wrestling is always predictable. Well it's not always. There's a lot of moments
I could point to that there's no way in hell that you would have guessed
would have happened in the last six to twelve months. But also it's a
perfect example of yes, we all know this is coming, but you still
want it and the predictability factor doesn't factor in because you just want to see
it. So all right, we then have let's see here more Gable backstage
with his alpha academy with his pupils, and he was praising them and said
otis is still his number one guy and just manipulative stuff. I love it,
all right. Bron Breaker versus Ricochet was up next. Bron Breaker beats
Ricochet in eight minutes, so I'm glad that this wasn't two minutes. I
think Ricochet for the thing, for all the things I don't like about him.
On a personal level, I think his character deserves more than two minutes
of a squash. He's gotten out that he has injured ribs, but still
bron Breaker is the guy they're clearly going with here. He is an obvious
monster. I also like the announcers giving a lot of resume points about Breaker.
If you didn't know that, or he unified the NXT title, he
had a wrestling career, a collegiate football career. They even said he was
he in the NFL too. I think they briefly brought that up. So
bron Breaker is a legitimate athlete that I think adds to his credentials, adds
to his credibility. And I really enjoyed that because I honestly didn't know that
stuff, and I would venture to guess that a significant portion of the audience
listening didn't either. And it's very helpful. So I appreciate those things.
They're small, they mayn't seem insignificant, but for someone that you don't I
know very well, any information is helpful, especially when you're trying to put
over a guy. All right, Keana James versus Natalia, where Kana James
beats Natalia in two minutes and fifty five seconds. It was finished when James
kicked out Keanu James kicked out of the sharpshooter and hit her four oh one
k finish and got the victory. Fine again, Natalia, just like Ricochet,
just like Zolf Zigler before him, are the gatekeepers for a lot of
new talent coming up. They know they can work with them, make them
look good. And you need talent like that for the men and women,
And so Natalians playing her part, well, you know, all right,
Carrie and Cross actually had a segment here. He interrupted The New Day and
said, the power of Positivity is dead, and Kingston assumed Cross meant that
it didn't hit the way it once did, and Kingston said that he and
Woods do this or do and his boys would find out tonight. Cross stopped
Woods and said he wouldn't have to follow Kingson anymore after tonight. And then
braun Stroman comes down and we get bron Stroman versus Carlito squash. Bron beats
Carlito in a minute and a half and this is where the beatdown happens.
Brought a baler of McDonogh come down. You know, bron Stroman still fighting
them off. He's able to still fight off a number of guys. The
numbers do eventually catch up with him though, as he is left laying after
McDonald hits Stroman with several chair shots and broun Stroman finally goes down. So
that was good to see. Bron Stroman finally gets what really he has come
in to him. I mean the fact that bron Stroman's the one that picked
the fight. And then again I said ten minutes ago gets beat down for
it. I mean, I don't have any times for the character. I'd
never connected with the character is as you guys know if you listen to the
show. Not a big Bronzetroman fan, but I understand the appeal. So
Bronstrowman gets exactly what he deserves. He really does, despite the fact that
Judgment Day is a heel group, they were absolutely justified in beating him down.
So all right. We get a few shots of the women's tag team
champions of Bianca Bellair and Jade Cargil. They are always shown backstage and wearing
sunglasses, and Bianca's constantly twirling her hair everywhere she goes because that's just what
she does because she's thirty seven and we twirl our hair. But they do
look good together. They feel like they belong obviously, they seem to be
gelling very well together, and I mean I had nothing bad to say about
them in ring. Jade continues to improve. Is she as good as Bianca?
Hell No, Bianca may be arguably the single best performer that WWE has
for the women. She's really that good. All the slights that I give
her about her hair twirling and immaturity that she shows on the mic sometimes and
her entrance. All that is just superficial stuff. It's annoying and I still
would change it, but it all comes down to can you deal? Can
you deal? And can you deliver when you get in the ring and the
bell rings, yes, and Bianca does for Jade. It's still a work
in progress, and they end up let's see taking on Shanna Besler and Zoe
Stark, and it's actually for the women's tag team titles. So they were
on the line and Bellair hit Stark with a kod but as she was about
to get the victory, Isla Don and Alba Fire ran in and attacked bel
Air. So this ended in a no contest, and bell Air and Jade
fought off Shanna Besler and Zoe Stark to an apparent I just said that Cargill
tried to help her partner, she was quickly out numbered and left them laying.
So I don't know. So here's the thing. I want to take
the women's tag team titles seriously. I have been trying for a couple of
years now, and every time I think I might be getting close, WWE
does something to remind me, hey, come on back, We're really not
going to do anything. With these titles. Come on back, That's what
it feels like. Come on, come on, you really bought that we're
not going to do anything until they show me consistency for a year or more,
that they're serious about these titles, that they actually are going to feature
them in some kind of respectable way consistently. I have very little faith that
they will so. But it's around the waist or over the shoulders of two
monstrous women, two women that eventually one altern in the other. Eventually both
of them I think will be in the Hall of Fame. Bianca's already.
Jane might if she, you know, improves and shows consistency and stays the
company for five to ten years, I think she's a Hall of famer as
well, but long way away from that. My point is the women's tag
team titles have been disrespected for so long it's hard to take them seriously.
But I think Bianca and Jade will do a very fine job of reviving them.
Jay us so come out. It can't come out. He came out,
and it's almost almost like, here's one for you. I'm probably gonna
insult some people. I just misspoke, right as I do a lot throughout
the show. If anyone else gets annoyed by this when someone says I seen
something, Oh, I seen that. If someone if I said a sentence
here, if I just said that and you don't know what's wrong grammatically with
my sentence, then you're a part of the problem. I'd be in a
jerk. But I hear so many people throughout the day say, oh,
I seen that, I've seen that. Have you ever heard of the past
tense that's called saw S A W S C E N is not past tense?
Oh? Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I have different like
pet peeves, and that's one of them, because I hear it constantly from
people. And I don't want to be that guy that's just corrects people grammatically,
but I guess I'll do it to people that can't respond back to me
because I'm a coward sitting in my little comfy, cozy office where no one
can respond back. I'm a big man. All right. Yeah, it's
getting late. As I always say, I'm getting a little delirious. Okay,
where where the hell was I? Oh? Drew McIntyre interrupted the interview
with Damian Priest and said that, you know, he seemed pretty happy and
he's pre said he's the world champ, so every day is a happy day.
And McIntyre said that, oh, to enjoy his time because this is
a high as priests will ever go in this industry, and that it's now
personal and'll be seeing him real soon. So Jami USO's music hits and he
walked down to the steps kind of like in where the shield used to and
kind of just stood there and said he has big plans. Reminded us of
the Civil War last year's money in the bank and lost his family because of
that match. He stayed in the fight because he knew one day he could
possibly find out his own and finally we made event. He said that it
was time for him to deliver for the fans and had one more plan for
this summer. He said he would climb to the top of the ladder,
grab the brief briefcase and become mister Money in the Bank. So there you
go. There's your mention of the money in the Bank event by jay Uso.
And I think he's a good candidate. I know in the past I've
said that money in the Bank, much like King the Ring, has made
for a heel to win because it's a prize that you cash in when your
opponent's at their weakest, and it makes sense that heals win most of the
time. But I think in this case, Jay has a hell of acclaim
to win the money in the bank briefcase, I think he's more than deserving,
overdue, and he'd be a fine champion. So all right, Lyra
Valkyrie, as I said, also talked about it. She talked about Becky
Lynch and how eventually she's going to come back. I don't know what information
she knows that we don't, but you know, this is easily Lyra's best
interview to date. She's done some weird ones postmatch the last few weeks.
This was a much better delivery and content of her promo than in weeks past.
She said that they didn't think they'd have to watch live Morgan is world
Champion for long and it started talking started again, started to talk about money
in the bank. All right, let's see. Oh Eosky also attacked Lyra.
So Eosky and Lyra seemed to be going into a program here all right,
AOP versus New Day and this ended in very quick fashion with AOP beating
New Day with a water rush finish and let's see here that was that again.
I don't really have any feelings about this match because number one, it
wasn't on Hulu, and number two it's the New Day and you guys know
how I feel about that group. But all right, we then get the
World Heavyweight Champion Damien Priest versus Raymysterio in a non title match. This match
ran, uh, let's see what was the number on this? I don't
see a number. Oh, thirteen and a half minutes and it ended with
Damian Priest beating raymys Sterio. You know again, he should He's got a
big title match coming up, where Ray does not have a big title match
coming up. Therefore, by wrestling logic, the person going into the event
that has a big match has and should always win in the weeks prior to
make them look as strong as possible. It's not a slight nor a complaint,
just an observation, but this to me was a good showing for both
Ray, who continues to be ageless and timeless. Priest continues to look strong,
putting Ray Mysterio through a table, putting Also, I'm sorry he put
MacIntyre through a table. He hit the South of Heaven, choke slam on
Ray from the second or top rope, I forget which one, you know.
I think this was a good segment for Priest for sure. It reunited
the Judgment day a little bit, and I think for a raymisterio again,
what can you say about the guy? What can you say? And Damian
Priest again, you have a guy, You have a champion that I think
people are looking at, going huh. Him as champion doesn't feel as wrong
as I thought it would. You know, you never really really sure about
Priest until you put the belt on him, and now you have the belt
on him and you were like, huh, he kind of feels like he
belongs. So we'll see what they do at Clash at the Castle. They
may and I still think they will pull the trigger pull trigger rather on Drew
winning, but there's a chance that they don't. We'll see if that happens
as the Previeum Prediction Show comes your way next week. But there wasn't another
postmatch kiss, so that's good. We'll save that, I guess for another
time. But liv Morgan is doing exactly what she said she was gonna do.
Take everything from Rea Rip and boy like I said last night, Does
it not make you want to see and think about Ria Ripley's return and what
she'll do when Dom eventually does cave in and join Live and they're happy,
go lucky and wham out of nowhere. Mommy's back, and Mommy's gonna be
looking for answers and for blood, as she said before she left. So
I'm already aunt for Rhea's return, which I don't obviously have a date for,
nor do I think Ria Ripley does, nor do I think WW does.
I'm sure they have a ballpark idea, but hopefully it's before Summer Slam,
hopefully so well, that'll do it for the Raw review. This is
