00:00:01 Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome back to Batch your Happy Hour. I'm Joe, and today we are here with a very special guest, a good friend of ours. She only lives probably fifteen minutes away. Natasha Parker is here. 00:00:16 Speaker 2: Hi Natasha, Hello, Joe and Serena Hello. 00:00:22 Speaker 1: We want to talk about What do. 00:00:24 Speaker 3: I want to talk about? I want to talk about? 00:00:28 Speaker 1: Wow, well you know what we're going to talk about. You know, I know what we're going to talk about for a little bit, and that's you. You're definitely not expecting this, but we have. What we've been doing on this podcast is yeah, look at your face. It's actually funny. I wish we had video. Maybe we do. I don't even know. We've been recapping first nights of season, so we did. We just did Ben Higgins season, but we also we also did Peter Webbers. 00:01:06 Speaker 4: So we've been watching. 00:01:07 Speaker 5: The first episode of these seasons then interviewing the Bachelor. So we watched like night one, did a recap of Peter's and then we interviewed Peter, and we did the same with Ben and both people. We didn't tell in advance that we did that, and I guess. So you're number three, so welcome welcome to the surprise. 00:01:25 Speaker 1: But what's funny is I I didn't you know I've known you for we've been friends now for I don't know, five years, four or five years, Yeah, right around that time. 00:01:37 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I never saw your night on. 00:01:41 Speaker 1: Oh so wow. 00:01:43 Speaker 3: Yeah you guys were it looks srina and you were like, what a glow up? What you do? 00:01:48 Speaker 6: Look different? 00:01:48 Speaker 5: You do look different though, but also after seeing you with blue hair, like, nothing surprises me anymore of exactly exactly. 00:01:57 Speaker 2: Yeah, the looks changed, that's for sure. They hair was shorter, that is for sure. 00:02:02 Speaker 1: Uh. 00:02:03 Speaker 2: Night one, I remember it. I remember pretty much everything I think. 00:02:07 Speaker 1: So what we see, what we what we see it. There's like a little few and were literally we're gonna talk about this for a few minutes. 00:02:15 Speaker 2: So that stress up because I'm like, we could we could get into it if you want, Tombert. 00:02:21 Speaker 1: I mean, if you if you want to. But what we see, I feel like what we see from you is basically like a little back and forth between you and McKenna. Mm hmmm. Is that how you remember your Night one? 00:02:38 Speaker 2: Honestly, that's not what I remember the most about Night one. I remember not knowing what the fuck was going on. That's what I remember the most. But I do remember that obviously with the airplane, and yeah, I do remember. 00:02:52 Speaker 5: So for those that missed it, we recapped it in a past episode. But basically, Mattie Pruet comes out with this massive paper airplane, and there's a lot of airplane themed things happening that night. Natasha talking to Pete pilot Pete the bachelor at the time. McKenna starts throwing little paper airplanes at Natasha and then Natasha interrupts them with Maddie's massive paper airplane. You seem genuinely annoyed, which I have to imagine you were. 00:03:23 Speaker 2: I have to correct you, I hope, please do. She was throwing those planes at Peter. She definitely wasn't thrown them at me. 00:03:29 Speaker 6: Okay, at Peter. 00:03:32 Speaker 1: Now go ahead. How are you and McKenna? How are you and McKenna after Night one? Did you guys like like, was that like a thing or. 00:03:41 Speaker 3: Yeah it was a thing? 00:03:42 Speaker 2: There were okay, yeah, there were two people specifically on my season. 00:03:48 Speaker 3: Well, no, I would say no, just one. 00:03:52 Speaker 2: It was just McKenna, who I just feer cleared like if she was in the kitchen, I would go in the other room. I would, you know, it was no like beef like per se in the sense of like, I you know, like I don't hate anyone. I didn't hate her, but I just kind of steered clear because she just seemed like I was annoyed by her. 00:04:09 Speaker 3: I'm not gonna lie. 00:04:11 Speaker 1: Yeah, it's and it wasn't. 00:04:14 Speaker 3: It wasn't it wasn't. You know. 00:04:16 Speaker 2: I think sometimes when you meet people, they say first impression is an only impression. I don't think that's true. I think a first impression is a lasting impression. And I agree, right, like you're like, okay, but it's. 00:04:29 Speaker 5: Not always like the most accurate representation of who that person is, but it sticks with you no matter what what the interaction. 00:04:35 Speaker 2: Is, right, And I think McKinnon is great, but after I mean, now you know, in hindsight, I think she's great. But also we had an age gap as well. I can't remember exactly, but she was one of the younger. They were like the house was kind of split between like the younger girls and of the older girls. Yeah, she was younger, and they kind of hung out. The older girls kind of hung out. So it was just kind of like we just and there's so many people. We never had to really interact with each other. I did steer clear, but I did think that it was rude to throw things. Not gonna lie, Yeah, I would never do that. I was like, what what, I'm not gonna throw these and they all hit. They were like going after Peter, you know, and I was. 00:05:14 Speaker 3: Like, oh, she's not throwing at me, is she? Because girl, I will ball this. 00:05:17 Speaker 4: Up in point. 00:05:20 Speaker 6: You know, would have turned out majorly differently. 00:05:23 Speaker 3: So that was that was fun. 00:05:25 Speaker 2: But I don't know if you got so you guys watched the first the whole episode, right, Yeah. 00:05:29 Speaker 1: That's it. We didn't like, we didn't like keep watching the season. We're just watching. 00:05:32 Speaker 3: We watched night. 00:05:33 Speaker 5: One because Peter's first episode was like three parts. It was like Night one and then week one of like it like went into dates. 00:05:40 Speaker 6: Oh right, oh right, three hour season premiere. 00:05:43 Speaker 3: You watch like the the the the in the intros and things. 00:05:46 Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So there's one moment when I'm sitting by the fire and Chris Harrison brings out the first Impression Rose Yeah, and I'm like They're like, oh my god, oh my god, and I'm like the what. 00:06:01 Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I remember I'm like, Natasha doesn't even know what's going on? 00:06:04 Speaker 1: Do you regret that? Because we've interviewed so many people, and you and I have interviewed a lot of people where we're kind of like, well, you should have watched exactly. Do you regret not knowing so or not preparing? 00:06:17 Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, so in hindsight, if I ever went on another reality show, would I ever not watch? I would watch absolutely, But in this case, there was like pros and cons. I didn't know what was going on, and I think if I would have watched, I probably one hundred percent would have self eliminated because like not watching, I really didn't think that that was an option, If that makes sense. 00:06:50 Speaker 6: Yeah, it does make sense, right, Like I. 00:06:52 Speaker 3: It wasn't not saying it's like one of those. 00:06:54 Speaker 5: Things unless you take the liberty to be like I am, I want to self eliminate. It's not an option that they're like presenting to you on the table. It's like you stay and you get sent home, Yeah, that's or you stay and you end up with him. Like those are kind of the only two things that are up for discussion unless you like go out of your way to say, like I want to go I can't do this, yes. 00:07:14 Speaker 2: Exactly, and and that's you know, I talked about like with my producer, I talked about going home. But it was just like, I so, now, watching this show so many people, that's such an option obviously because you're like and it wasn't Peter though. It was more so the time that I felt like I didn't get with him that other people did get with him. 00:07:35 Speaker 6: Like I think you like a really late one on one. 00:07:37 Speaker 2: I got a late one on one, and Maddie and Victoria both had two one on ones before I had one, so I just really oh yeah, oh yeah. So I just would have been like fuck this, you know what I mean, Like, clearly this guy doesn't like me because he doesn't want to take me on a date, you know what I'm saying, like or whatever, Right, So I would have probably felt that way opposed to but you know, everything happens for a reason. I didn't watch, so I was just kind of like, now what now? 00:08:04 Speaker 3: What now? 00:08:05 Speaker 1: What? 00:08:05 Speaker 3: What's next? What's next? What's next? 00:08:07 Speaker 1: Well? 00:08:07 Speaker 5: I think with your background too, like you worked in TV prior to going on the show, so like you were missing pieces of information in terms of like how the show worked from like a structural perspective, but you're like, you know how TV is made, so you did have like that, not melch No. 00:08:24 Speaker 1: So you would also think something that worked in TV would do their research. 00:08:27 Speaker 2: But well, she here's the thing that's so interesting, and like you know that during my season, people were like, she's a producer plant because if you went to my LinkedIn and said, HBO, it's at Paramount, it's at all these different places that I worked. I watch movies with actors and actresses like we worked in scripted television. I didn't even I mean, besides Atlanta Housewives, I pretty much never watched reality TV. 00:08:50 Speaker 3: So it's such a different medium. 00:08:52 Speaker 2: And it's like to say, like, you know, if you work in news, you know how this Worked's it's so everything is so completely different in the television industry. So working on a film set is so different even than working on a television set, right versus reality versus you know, all the different mediums. So it kind of like it kind of used to be like no, and also, this is my real life me myself, not like hello, I am an actress coming on this show to date a boy, right, although some people that's how they feel, you know what I mean. 00:09:27 Speaker 3: But I just felt like. 00:09:32 Speaker 2: Having a background in television, and also I was working in marketing in TV as well. 00:09:36 Speaker 6: It's like, right, I had not mean you didn't go and blind? 00:09:39 Speaker 2: You said, exactly, blind, exactly now commercials completely, Now, I would have known I can work my way around a commercial set, you know what I'm saying. Like that would have been a different thing, but I had. And also too, you think about every every TV show, right, even they have its own rules in its own little thing. So a lot of people said that, like she should have known, and I'm like, hmm, not. 00:10:03 Speaker 3: Really, I wish. 00:10:06 Speaker 2: But it was fun going in blind, to be honest, because I really focused on my relationship instead of like all the beef and the drama. I was always drama adjacent somehow, but I never really besides the first night with the whole mckinneth thing, I really didn't have any drama. But I saw it all and I was like, oh, so yeah. 00:10:31 Speaker 1: Okay, so now how is it. I feel like, for one advantage that men have coming off the show single is a lot of like you just see it in the in the analytics of Instagram. A lot of the followers are female, female based. So when you do come off this show heartbroken as a single guy or not even heartbroken, is a single guy, dating becomes much easier. It's just easy. It's just easier to date, is a guy off the show. 00:11:10 Speaker 6: Yeah, And I always say that the guys that come off the show are like pre vetted. 00:11:13 Speaker 1: Now, with that being said, you know you you went on Peter Webber season and then you were on our season a Bachelor in Paradise, and you left both those seasons single. How did it affect you're dating life after? Do you think there? Do you think there were there any benefits? 00:11:32 Speaker 2: Well, for Bachelor, for sure, there were benefits in the sense of like personal growth. I think realizing how important it is to you know, you have such a short amount of time with the Bachelor, and it's so much more intentional time because you're not on your phones and you have all these other devices. So I think, you know, looking back, when I was going through and I got through that whole hump of the Bachelor, it was like now that I'm when I started dating again, I was so much more vulnerable. Instead of waiting to be vulnerable, I kind of led. I led with that more, I think, and that was just like a personal growth thing that kind of broke in half for me through going through the show and then coming home and like going through. 00:12:19 Speaker 3: All of that. 00:12:21 Speaker 2: So yeah, so that was a like a the personal growth. I think it was definitely a positive. The negative side is when I think any girl, whether she got her followers on this show or whatever, any girl has a bunch of followers on Instagram. 00:12:36 Speaker 3: You know, men. 00:12:41 Speaker 2: Feel a type of way about it. What do you mean by that they feel a type of way about it. 00:12:45 Speaker 3: I feel like. 00:12:47 Speaker 2: Men I don't know about jealous, but it's just they think if you have a bunch of followers on Instagram, and it could be ten thousand, you know, one hundred thousand, whatever, it is a million. There's just millions of guys in your dms. Now that may be true that there are a bunch of guys in your dms, but it's like a dude named Gary that's like sixty five with like holding a cat, you know what, and he's like, Okay, well, I was thinking g A r y because there is this dude. 00:13:22 Speaker 1: Okay, but there was no there was no guys that were I guess that you were attracted to or your type or around your age that were sliding into your DMS. I mean. 00:13:34 Speaker 4: Not, well, no, would. 00:13:37 Speaker 1: You say, would you say the show? Would you say gaining that following give you more? I guess maybe access to maybe better parties or music festivals, where then you have a better chance of meeting somebody that you like. No. I don't know. 00:13:55 Speaker 2: No, only because I live in New York, right, and I've lived here for so long. 00:14:00 Speaker 3: Maybe if I had went somewhere else. 00:14:04 Speaker 2: Dating dating wise, Like I said, the personal growth was definitely a plus. I think having a lot of followers because a lot of men don't watch The Bachelor, So it's. 00:14:11 Speaker 1: Not like guys are in how I preface. 00:14:15 Speaker 2: The Yeah, so it's not like guys are like I saw you on the show. Here's a shoulder to cry on what I finally went. 00:14:24 Speaker 6: Through most men that watch the show, because there are men that watch it, but oftentimes it's like with their sister with their girlfriend, right, they're white with their mom, Like they're watching it with a female in their life. 00:14:37 Speaker 2: That's true, that's true. Yeah, And you know certain people who are from other places other than New York. 00:14:46 Speaker 3: They I think the access opens up for them. 00:14:51 Speaker 2: But like before I went on the show, I've dated ballplayers, you know, like the one. You know, there's people who like get off the show and now they're like, have all this access to like all these people they've never met. So I mean for that part, as far as access, no, it was just more of like that personal growth. And I think a lot of men are insecure when they go to your Instagram. That's why now I go on dates with people and I'm like, I won't even I don't even bring up the Bachelor because it's just like it was so long ago one, like early on two. I don't even give a guy my Instagram right away if I meet them in real life, because I mean, you don't want them to feel any type of way before they get to know you, at least for me. Well, I will say Hinge. I can't do Hinge. I was on Hinge before Bachelor, but now after that, I can't do Hinge because I have gotten messages from guys on Hinge like you look familiar. 00:15:43 Speaker 3: Were you on a TV show? Were you on a Bachelor? 00:15:45 Speaker 2: And I'm like, it just freaks me out. Whereas I've talked to my guy friends from the show and they're like, I think it's cool when girls say that, and I'm like, that's kind of cringe for me. 00:15:53 Speaker 1: Well, so, how the last guy you went on on a date with, how did you meet him? 00:16:01 Speaker 6: We met on Riyah, So Riah's the dating app of choice. 00:16:06 Speaker 2: Well, I go back and forth between Riya and the League, so but I only do one at a time. I can't do both, so like I'll do Riya or I'll do the League. And right, I was off Riya for like a year and then I got back on Raya and then I was now I'm off the League. So yeah, if I meet a guy on a dating app, it's one of those two. 00:16:25 Speaker 4: Do you ever meet a guy and go on a date not from a dating app? Oh? 00:16:29 Speaker 3: All the time, all the time. 00:16:32 Speaker 1: Give me a situation. Hmm. 00:16:37 Speaker 2: Let me think, because the last three guys that I went on a date with was from a dating app. But m oh, I was out with friends. We went to drinks and this guy was with like this guy was with two other guys and he, you know, just saw me. 00:16:56 Speaker 3: I was like, do you want another drink? 00:16:57 Speaker 2: And I was like sure, and then we just got to talking and he was like, I love to take you out, and I was like, great, and we went out and we had a great first date, and then we had an awful second date and I never talked to him again. 00:17:08 Speaker 1: Now, if that conversation went really well, are you even considering hooking up with him the first night? No, you're not considering yet. 00:17:19 Speaker 3: No. 00:17:20 Speaker 4: Was there ever a time in your life where you would consider that? 00:17:25 Speaker 2: So the only time at this point in my life. Well, if I meet a guy out and I think he's really attractive, but like, but I don't want to date him for whatever reason. Maybe he's like doesn't seem that smart to me. I don't know, just something like that, like it's like this, yeah, exactly exactly the hot idiot then maybe, But honestly, in New York, I don't do it much. The last time I had a whole rendezvous was I was in the south of France. 00:18:00 Speaker 4: Of course that's. 00:18:02 Speaker 1: The only place. That's the only place to have a rendezvous. 00:18:05 Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a great it was a lot of fun. 00:18:07 Speaker 4: We'll tell me that. I think that's like that is part of their culture too. 00:18:11 Speaker 3: What havous? 00:18:14 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean yeah, and affairs affairs are big in in France. 00:18:20 Speaker 2: Yes, well, yes, Apparently there's an hour, you know, there's like a happy hour. Apparently there's like an there's like a mistress hour or a mister hour. 00:18:29 Speaker 1: Wait during like during the. 00:18:31 Speaker 3: Week, during during the day everything. 00:18:34 Speaker 1: So every day, if you if you hit up a bar in Paris at like two pm, that's like. 00:18:40 Speaker 3: You may see a man with his mistress. M hmm. 00:18:43 Speaker 1: Interesting. 00:18:44 Speaker 6: That is so interesting. 00:18:46 Speaker 1: Oh my god. Did you guys see that documentary that came out on Netflix called Ashley? It's like exposing the Ashley Madison. Have you heard of that? No, so it was a I didn't. I didn't watch the documentary yet, but I saw the trailer. But it was a website for people that wanted to have affairs. 00:19:08 Speaker 6: Oh, I feel like it was. 00:19:09 Speaker 1: Like behind closed doors. But then the website got hacked and everyone's information got lead. 00:19:14 Speaker 6: That only happened like in the last ten. 00:19:17 Speaker 1: To fifteen years. 00:19:17 Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, because I feel like I remember that I wanted to. I want we definitely need to watch that. 00:19:24 Speaker 3: But wouldn't you use an alias? 00:19:27 Speaker 6: You would think? 00:19:28 Speaker 3: But like but also m also, why do you have to. 00:19:36 Speaker 2: Why do you have to go on one of those to cheat? Like because everyone on there is like married, is everyone. 00:19:40 Speaker 1: On their Yeah, well that's well, that's the point. 00:19:43 Speaker 5: Okay, we're it's like we're all on here trying to cheat on our significant others, like code of trust, Like you're. 00:19:49 Speaker 6: Married, I'm Mary. We're not trying to date. We're just looking for like a quick affair. 00:19:53 Speaker 5: That kind of a smart concept as much as it's like really sketchy and weird. 00:19:58 Speaker 1: Sena, I love how people say I love when people say I was just thinking this before the podcast. When somebody like we'll look at you that you just met or you barely know, and they're like, okay, circle of trust, and then they tell you something and you're like, just because you said circle of trust doesn't mean I'm not gonna go repeat it, you know what I'm saying, because I don't. I wouldn't repeat it, but I'm just saying, like, what about off the record, even yeah, off the off the records and off the record, here's some information that I'm gonna give to this stranger that I barely know. 00:20:30 Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, if it's like I just met the person, I'm always a little like wow, like I must be giving off some real trust for the energy, because like you don't know me at all, and you don't know if I'm a trust for the person or not. But I feel like when you're amongst friends, like it's like okay, ps, like this is in the circle of trust, Like I'm just wondering to know the person. 00:20:48 Speaker 6: Well, yeah, when you know the person is a very normal thing to say. I say it all the time. 00:20:51 Speaker 5: Or it's like okay, like cone of silence, what I'm about to say, like stays stays here. 00:20:56 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we have it. Look, we look, listeners, we have a co of trust me. Yeah, we have a trust. We say all your time, I'll call you and be like on speakerphone. 00:21:13 Speaker 1: Let's get into Hidden Gems with Natasha, your your new podcast before we do. What are you going? What are you doing today? Are you staying in New York City for the weekend? Are you going somewhere? 00:21:24 Speaker 2: No, I am going to Milan on Saturday for a wedding in Lake Como. Oh remember ye? And then when I'm going to be gone for a while. 00:21:36 Speaker 1: Okay, So let's talk about Hidden Gems, your your new podcast. I did it an episode. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, even though you forced me to read a pornographic book. 00:21:45 Speaker 5: It wasn't a pornographic it was an astrology book. 00:21:52 Speaker 4: Did she x raate it with an x rayed mind? 00:21:55 Speaker 3: Yeah? Wait, Serena, what did you think when you heard that? I was like, Serena's gonna be like, what the well? 00:22:00 Speaker 5: I messaged you because Joe was like, I don't do any of these things, like this is so not me. But like most of it was very much. 00:22:08 Speaker 1: Was listening to the power watching the podcast. You also put your episodes on YouTube and simultaneously going this is a lie, this is a lie. You're lying, not lying. 00:22:21 Speaker 6: I don't throw temper tantrums. 00:22:22 Speaker 5: I don't need to be in control and write I don't. 00:22:28 Speaker 1: I told you already. I'm I'm channeling. I'm already growing my beard. I'm channeling my inner Chris Press's. 00:22:35 Speaker 6: No Chris Pine. 00:22:36 Speaker 5: Have you seen that photo of Chris Pine where he's got like long hair. Now he's like grown out of beard. It's really giving, like I don't give a fuck about anything. 00:22:45 Speaker 3: I'll tend you the photo. 00:22:46 Speaker 6: It's giving cave Man. 00:22:48 Speaker 1: Well, that's his whole thing, like he just. 00:22:49 Speaker 6: Doesn't thing is like I just don't care anymore. 00:22:51 Speaker 1: And that's how I that's me too. 00:22:53 Speaker 3: Well, we're not. 00:22:55 Speaker 6: Entering you're too you're too young to be entering that era of your life. 00:22:59 Speaker 3: Yeah, no, you got to care. 00:23:00 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's what I mean here, Natasha. You talk about like life in general on your podcast, But like I do think that's a healthy outlook what. 00:23:10 Speaker 6: An extent about certain things? 00:23:12 Speaker 4: Yes, I obviously I felt like I don't. 00:23:15 Speaker 6: Be letting yourself go right now, there you go, there you go. 00:23:18 Speaker 4: Through to tell it, I went to the gym. 00:23:20 Speaker 1: I've been to this some twice in the past twenty four hours. 00:23:23 Speaker 6: Yeah, but I'm just saying this, like I don't care about anything. 00:23:25 Speaker 5: Mentality I feel like is good and like I don't care, maybe like I don't care what other people think of me, or I'm not gonna let other people's judgment or opinions. 00:23:33 Speaker 6: Like influence my mood or emotions or choices. 00:23:37 Speaker 1: Yeah exactly. 00:23:38 Speaker 5: But like you're you're you're an extremist, and I worry about you taking this mentality to an extreme. 00:23:45 Speaker 4: Well, I guess you just gotta sit back and wait and see what happened. 00:23:47 Speaker 6: Yeah, it's been most of our relationship. 00:23:51 Speaker 1: So let's talk a little bit about hidden jams. What's what? What is it about? 00:23:56 Speaker 2: Hidden Gems is about helping people get unstuck or people who feel like they need to pivot in their life, because we all have been in that position at some point. I like to interview people about moments in their life where they ever been stuck, where they have had to pivot and to get to where they are now. And I try to find like little synchronicities in people's lives who I interview. So like you, Joe, you were on Serena, have to have you on as well, and you know, I just being the night one guy too married, you know what I mean from the show is like, to me, really awesome and like the mindset from going from one thing to another thing to another thing. 00:24:41 Speaker 3: And we talked about that on the episode. 00:24:43 Speaker 2: And I really loved that episode too, the Soulmate conversation. So many people message me about that and that clip A lot of people. 00:24:49 Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, a lot of people were soulmates. Yeah yeah, yeah, So that was so yeah, So that was good. 00:24:58 Speaker 2: And I every single episode there's something so beautiful that someone says about their life and like what made them get to where they are now or And I mean I interviewed someone the other day and they were like, you know, I'm stuck right now. 00:25:12 Speaker 3: I'm stuck right now. 00:25:15 Speaker 2: And that person is Rachel Lindsay that episode will probably be out in a couple of weeks, and she you know, you know, she's going through a divorce and things like that. 00:25:23 Speaker 1: So she said she feels stuck in the current moment. 00:25:26 Speaker 2: Right right right, yeah, because she's going through a pivot and a change and a lot of things in her life are changing right now. 00:25:33 Speaker 5: So that is so interesting, like the concept of being stuck during such a huge change, because I feel like people associate change with like movement, and it's like I usually. 00:25:45 Speaker 1: Feel when you are moving, that's usually the time you don't feel stuck, right What do you mean? Like if you and I were getting a divorce, Oh God, here we go. What I'm saying is, if you and I are getting a divorce, I don't know if I wouldn't I don't know if feeling stuck would be what I would be feeling. I think it would. I would not feel well. 00:26:11 Speaker 3: Point, if Serena was trying to take all your fucking money, you might if. 00:26:16 Speaker 4: Sera was trying to think, yeah, listen, I'm not no no, I think I think. 00:26:20 Speaker 6: You're proving my point. 00:26:22 Speaker 5: I think people associate change with movement, but a lot of the time change, especially when it's like big changes, there's other people involved. 00:26:32 Speaker 6: You feel stuck. 00:26:33 Speaker 1: Yes, mm hmm, yeah, well yeah, that's yeah, like you're. 00:26:37 Speaker 6: Saying, I would think if we're getting divorced, I would feel. 00:26:38 Speaker 1: I would feel sad, I would feel I would yeah, I would feel sad, I would be I would feel all all types of ways. But I don't think stock would be one of them, because there is, it is such a huge life change. 00:26:51 Speaker 6: Yeah. 00:26:52 Speaker 2: Well, but the thing is is if you it's like, okay, so where do I move? 00:26:57 Speaker 3: Now? What do I do? 00:26:59 Speaker 1: Now? 00:26:59 Speaker 3: Where do I go? You know? Do I need to switch jobs? You know? 00:27:03 Speaker 2: Do I need to move into a different house because maybe we were both paying for this house. 00:27:06 Speaker 3: You know. 00:27:07 Speaker 2: So there's all these decisions that you have to make, And I think that's one thing that gets people in a stuck place is not knowing where to go. Sometimes you have too many options of you know, which way do I go or if some if life is you know, not going well or whatever. There's also just like a stagnant feeling that people will get like I need to change, but I don't know how, who, what, where, or why I should or can. Or if you're starting a new business and you just lost a bunch of money, do I quit this business? 00:27:38 Speaker 4: Do I not? 00:27:40 Speaker 3: Do I quit this relationship? Do I not? 00:27:41 Speaker 2: Like you know, So there's so many things, and I think in the decision making process some people just don't do anything and that's like not the thing to do, right. So that's where I like to talk to people about how they got through those moments when they got stuck. And the main thing that I see from pop from successful people I would say who have found success in some area in life is they don't stay stuck for long. They try something else, or they have like multiple things happening, especially in business where they're like, Okay, that's not working, but now we can do this, or this isn't working and that now we can do that. So that's what I've you know, seen and things like that. 00:28:18 Speaker 1: So do you have a do you have a dream dream guest? 00:28:22 Speaker 2: Yes, it was the same guest on Clickbait. It would be my my dream guest till she comes Rihanna period. I feel like Rihanna would drop gyms all day, every day about everything. 00:28:32 Speaker 3: She also had a big pivot from music to being. 00:28:34 Speaker 2: An entrepreneur and CEO, and I would love to talk about the transition and where she was in. 00:28:40 Speaker 3: Her life and she was like, you know, I'm not going to do music for a while. 00:28:42 Speaker 2: Now I'm going to do this, and then you know, savage fine, and then her makeup and you know, oh, I mean I. 00:28:48 Speaker 3: Would just oh so many things. And now she's a mom and she has two kids. 00:28:52 Speaker 1: And if your listeners could take away one thing from listening to you on your podcast, what would you want that to be. 00:29:01 Speaker 2: I want people to come to the podcast and feel lighter and feel supported in this sense that like, you don't have to have everything figured out. One of the reasons why I started the podcast is because our suicide rate is so high among young people, and Instagram and social media is such a highlight reel and they look at someone's life and they're like, oh, look at them, They're so happy. But people don't understand what it took to get there, and the moments of stuck and the moments and all the pivots that they had to do to get to that point. So I want people to not feel as alone in their transitions when they're making transitions and it's okay to let go of things and it's okay to push forward and persevere through things. 00:29:44 Speaker 3: You know. 00:29:46 Speaker 2: That's like the whole reason why I wanted to start the podcast, because I know it can be lonely for some people when they're like no one else is feeling this, no one else is going through this, Like I'm in so much debt, I'm in this, I'm in that. 00:29:55 Speaker 3: But you're not the only one, boo, You're not the only one. 00:29:59 Speaker 6: Do you have a favorite episode that you've done so far? 00:30:03 Speaker 2: Oh mmmm, well, I mean, I feel like I'm going to get slapped if I don't say Joe's. 00:30:08 Speaker 6: I don't have to say other than Jonse. 00:30:11 Speaker 1: It wasn't my It wasn't one of my It wasn't my favorite podcast to be on anyone. 00:30:14 Speaker 6: Oh my god? 00:30:16 Speaker 2: Well why because you were in such a pissy mood that day. 00:30:20 Speaker 1: I actually really did enjoy it that podcast. 00:30:24 Speaker 2: I would say, so I do three guests and then I do a solo episode I love. 00:30:33 Speaker 3: I had an episode with a girl. 00:30:35 Speaker 2: Her name's Jenny Mine, and she is a psychotherapist, and I really loved that episode. We talked about the psychology of love and things like that, and she talked about the biggest difference between compatibility and chemistry. 00:30:47 Speaker 3: I really loved that episode. 00:30:50 Speaker 6: I think we listened to that one. 00:30:52 Speaker 2: Yeah, I also before I think so I think so yep, yep, yep. I really love that episode. And then I also my Manifesting episode. I get a lot of messages about that one because I do think that we are the makers of our universe and we can draw in anything. I talk a lot about femininity. I can't say that those are my favorite episodes. I just think it really resonates with a lot of people, and I love doing those. I love talking about femininity the most. So yeah, that's that's But I love everyone. It's so hard to pick because I'm like, I do everything. I find the guests, I figure out I you know, research them, talk, you know, and do everything. So it's hard to like pick because I think everyone is so like amazing and interesting and beautiful in their own way. 00:31:40 Speaker 3: Good. 00:31:40 Speaker 1: I think that's good ontility to have. I think you should like all your all your episodes that you're producing and putting out. Yeah, cool, all right, we're gonna play you want to play a game with us. Interesting? 00:32:27 Speaker 2: You mean besides my own? Because obviously aries we're the first. 00:32:32 Speaker 1: Yeah, just fad Well, no aries is your favorite periods? 00:32:37 Speaker 6: And aries? 00:32:38 Speaker 1: Go to go to drink at a bar? 00:32:41 Speaker 3: Tequila soda line? 00:32:43 Speaker 1: Nice gold jewelry or silver jewelry, gold? Like it could be someone that's already dead. 00:33:05 Speaker 1: But yeah, well yeah no you can't. And my my point is no they have to If they're dad, you can't go see them live. 00:33:12 Speaker 3: Okay, this is hard, This is very hard. Why is it so hard? I mean what, you know what? 00:33:23 Speaker 2: And I will see them live hopefully in November. But this composer, his name is Mateo. I always post his songs on my on my podcast page. I want to see him live so bad. He's a composer, piano so good. His name's Mateo and he has like a lot of consonants in his last name. And I don't want to mess it up. But it's like Murday Rick or something like that. Yeah, but I want to see him live really bad. 00:33:49 Speaker 1: Wow. That was not I would have never guessed that. Actually, maybe I would have guessed. 00:33:54 Speaker 2: I mean, I've seen so many like popular people, I've already seen them. 00:33:58 Speaker 6: So who's one of the people you've seen live that's been your favorite? 00:34:01 Speaker 3: Shot A hands down? 00:34:03 Speaker 6: Yeah, you get a lot of concerts. 00:34:05 Speaker 2: Hands down shot A best concert I've ever been to in my whole entire life. 00:34:09 Speaker 1: Wow, go to comfort movie? 00:34:13 Speaker 3: Mmmm, the Sweetest Thing or Scarface. 00:34:17 Speaker 1: Dream, vacation destination ooh, I mean. 00:34:26 Speaker 3: Fiji. 00:34:28 Speaker 1: One thing that you love about New York City the people, favorite way to decompress meditating.
