00:00:02 Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome back to Bet Your Happy Hour. I'm Joe and I'm Serena and we are here with our guest this week, Sarah Fina. Sarah Fina, welcome to bet Your Happy Hour. 00:00:10 Speaker 2: Thanks, guys, thank you so much for having me. I'm so excited. 00:00:14 Speaker 3: Thanks for coming on. 00:00:15 Speaker 2: Of course, of. 00:00:17 Speaker 3: Course, where are you recording from today? 00:00:19 Speaker 2: I'm in New York City. I feel like you guys are also we are. I know, I know it is so grand cold today. It's always gonna snow tonight apparently. Yeah, it's been so it's been so cold, but honestly, this week has been the warmest of it. I don't know. That's how I we had like two days ago, it wasn't bad. 00:00:44 Speaker 1: Well we we live off of the West Side Highway, so it's just. 00:00:47 Speaker 2: Really you got yeah, you got the Wendy. I live in the East Village, but I work on the West Side, So I know what you're saying. 00:00:55 Speaker 3: What do you do for work? 00:00:56 Speaker 2: I work in advertising, so it's a little bit of media buying. Yeah, I've been doing that for almost six years now, which is crazy. 00:01:03 Speaker 1: Wown. Yeah, how how did you? How did you wind up on the Bachelor? 00:01:10 Speaker 2: Oh? So I signed up myself. I know, like, and this is no shade to anyone. I know a lot of people. 00:01:18 Speaker 3: I know myself too, Okay, so I'm here to bring I feel like girls always come on and they're like ashamed of the fact that they didn't come on get nominator, like scouted by casting. 00:01:28 Speaker 2: So you know what, no shame in signing up yourself. Okay, No one was looking for me, No one, damn. Yeah. 00:01:34 Speaker 3: Kelsey Anderson signed herself up too. Okay, look at where she is now, engaged in love. 00:01:40 Speaker 2: For themselves for the girls, but no one. I didn't have a friend sign me up. I fully was on the bus on the way to work. It was after Joey's finale and that worked out so great, and I was like, you know what, I'm just gonna apply. It's a fifteen minute bus ride. It took me that time, and I signed up myself and I got to call that night. 00:02:01 Speaker 3: So yeah, it's so crazy though, because like when you sign up, like you're like, I'm never gonna hear. 00:02:06 Speaker 2: Never people never hearing. I was like, this is going into the abyss. And I found out that night and then I had interviews throughout the past couple of weeks and it was crazy. It goes so quickly, also so fast. 00:02:20 Speaker 1: What was dating life like for you before that? 00:02:24 Speaker 2: So I feel like my fallback answer has always been like dating stocks guys are not the best, and you know that can be true. But I feel like in the past couple of years, I've taken accountability for myself and I feel like I was just looking in the wrong places and I was not finding people who I found people who I thought was my type, and then I realized that my type wasn't what I needed, if that makes sense. I was always looking for these guys that were like outgoing life for the party, and that's not something that I needed in my life. If I needed someone that was more caring and nurturing, and I just wasn't finding that. So I took six years off of dating. I haven't dated anyone in six years. And I did a lot of therapy, lots of therapy bills, and I don't know, I just really worked on myself. It took a lot of self growth, I think for myself. 00:03:20 Speaker 3: I think that's great. I feel like so many people say New York is such a hard city to date in, and I do think going into dating with this mentality of like everyone sucks does make it hard. But I also feel like to your credit, like when you're young and you're dating in the city, you are meeting these guys probably like out at bars and in these settings where you might not be finding you might be finding someone great, but not someone great for you and what you're looking for. 00:03:45 Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. And it's like my therapist always told me this, it's a thing called fortune telling. And when you say dating sucks and everyone sucks, like that is the energy that you're going to bring to yourself and that's the energy that you're going to attract. So I really had to genuinely work on shifting my mindset and not saying that. And I know that sounds so cliche. I hate saying that, but I did. I just I really had to work on myself and the energy that I put out. 00:04:08 Speaker 1: I agree with that. I have a bad habit of being like the sucks everything. 00:04:13 Speaker 2: So you can't do that, then everything will suck. It's true. 00:04:18 Speaker 1: That is so true. 00:04:19 Speaker 3: That was the mindset then that you went into Grant season with. 00:04:25 Speaker 2: The mindset that I went in with with was just be myself and have fun. With it, don't take it as seriously. I know obviously I was going in. I was taking it seriously in terms of, like I did want to find someone, I did want to get married, but I wanted to be my most authentic self and stay true to who I was, and like I wanted to continue that growth that I had worked on for so long. So it was, you know, I know a lot of people share so much about themselves, like the first night of the first week, but I really had to stay authentic to my dating and how I date in the real world and really build up that really relationship because it is a fast process. But I didn't want to rush things, if that makes sense. I really wanted to stay authentic to who I would be. 00:05:08 Speaker 3: I think that's great, And because I think it's so easy to come on the show and be like, oh my gosh, I have no time and maybe fall into the trap of like sharing something before you're actually ready to share it because you're panicked about not getting the chance to. 00:05:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, and I think a lot of us felt that way, just because I feel like our season was slightly shorter as well in terms of time. But I just I couldn't right away because that's just like not who I am as a person, and I really want to just stay true to who I was. But I do feel like there were nuggets that I did open up, and I feel good about every time I did. 00:05:46 Speaker 1: For night one, what are your seeing Grant for the first time? What is your first impression of him? And is he your tight? 00:05:57 Speaker 2: Yeah? Obviously so attractive. When I first found out, I was so excited. I have text from my friends of like the first night of gen season when all the guys were out of Limo, I was like, if I go on the show, this is the guy that I want to be with. I promise you I will show text group. 00:06:14 Speaker 3: You should post that. I feel like people would love that. 00:06:18 Speaker 2: I love that. 00:06:19 Speaker 3: I think that's like, so like you like manifested him to be your bachelor and to get on the show. 00:06:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, I told you manifesting really does work, and I've been going into it a lot more lately. But yeah, obviously physically attractive, my type, and then just so much energy. But you could also tell that he was so nervous, and I think that's really admirable because you can go into this and be so confident, but you could just tell that he was genuinely one looking for someone, and two he was just excited but also had nerves meeting everyone. And I just I love that. 00:06:51 Speaker 3: What were the vibes like the first night? Who did you kind of gravitate towards to? 00:06:57 Speaker 2: Yeah, vibes are really high the first I feel like there were a lot. There was a lot going on. There were animals, there were like there was a Vegas sign. It was a lot. It was very chaotic. The lama was there. It was intense, and I think just like going into that and like this is my first time on camera as well, and just like there's a lama right next to me and not I don't know how I feel, but it was intense. But I do feel like the girls were just so nice and welcoming. And again I hate saying that, but it's true. Like I think we all were in this experience and we were all just getting to know each other. So I think everyone just tried to put their best foot forward that night. And I think I've bonded with so many girls that night. 00:07:42 Speaker 3: Also, how did you come up with the big head entrance? That was a good one. 00:07:48 Speaker 2: It was so heavy, but it has handles in the back. So it was like, yeah, so it was fine. So I have very dry, sarcastic humor that I feel like some times doesn't land and gets me in trouble. But I wanted something that showed my personality and I like to be witty. I like the Aanter and for me, it's like if you make fun of me and I can make fun of you, Like that is an instant match for me. And I feel like he really was recepted to it and took it well, so I felt like it went over really well. 00:08:22 Speaker 3: Yeah, No, it was a really good one. 00:08:24 Speaker 1: What women, Which women did you connect with right away or like a couple of days. 00:08:31 Speaker 2: Yeah, if you go off of like Night one, so many people are gonna be mad at me. But I love all the girls. I would say Alicia, Vicki, Bailey, and I would see Beverly Night one. And then as I as a time progress, obviously like I grew closer to a lot more gross. 00:08:47 Speaker 3: I was gonna say, damn, your girls are gone. Yeah, dude, we're flying solo in the mansion this week. 00:08:54 Speaker 2: Week two, I was like, I think after week three and I woke up, I was syrial. I was like, where are my friends. 00:09:03 Speaker 1: That's hard. 00:09:04 Speaker 3: That's hard. 00:09:05 Speaker 2: I was so mad at Grant and I feel like, you guys know what I'm talking about. It's like, obviously you're there for them, but these are your support system in that house because you're cut off from your friends and your family, and these are the girls that, as weird as it is like you're dating the same guy, they're the only people who can relate to what you're going through at that moment. So losing your friends is like, what the hell am I going to do today? Like who am I going to talk to? Who am I going to have breakfast with? 00:09:30 Speaker 1: So yeah, you know, you know more than I. 00:09:33 Speaker 3: Do, but Joe and I want so he doesn't know. But you imagine you get it the lake with Paradise, like you had breakfast and every morning, imagine they went home, you'd be having breakfast alone. 00:09:43 Speaker 1: It makes sense. 00:09:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, okay, so. 00:09:49 Speaker 1: We So I would say the first couple episodes, the drama kind of surround it Zoe, which that's yeah, that's now much tamer. I want your opinion on that as well. We do see you make a comment about Zoe having a short dress or whatever, Yeah, which really isn't isn't isn't the worst thing anyone's ever said to somebody on this show. 00:10:15 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:10:15 Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of just walk us through that and how that went down. 00:10:19 Speaker 2: Yeah, So in terms of start with like the Zoey stuff, like the beginning. 00:10:23 Speaker 3: Yeah, because you were you were on that first group date where she pulled him on the basketball day, right, and that kind of feels like where everything started and it just snowballed from there. 00:10:33 Speaker 2: Yeah. So for context, that first group date was the night after the rose ceremony, So again, we don't know each other very well, and I think a lot of us were very timid going into it. It's like we've known Grant for a day now, so we really didn't know how to fully approach the situation. And Zoe is definitely more of a go for what she wants kind of girl, which like you have to respect to a point, but also it can step on other people's toes because again, we're just all getting to know each other. So I think again, it just it ruffled some feathers, but you can see both sides to it in terms of, like, you know, what she wants to utilize her time in the best way that she feels fit and that is what she wanted, That's what she came here for. So I think that kind of snowballed into the cocktail party that night, and then into the group date the next week, the cocktail party the next week, and I think at this point, you know, she is definitely getting a little bit emotional because she definitely feels isolated, and I could see how she could also feel that way. But then there's also like, well, you know, we all had a great day and you didn't what we felt. Put all of your effort into it, and then she gets emotional, and I definitely made a comment and I hated that wasn't my best moment. I was definitely hard. Yeah, I was hard on myself for so long about it, But I'm also giving myself some grace with it because I'm human, and you know, we all say things that we don't mean or you know that were like that was shitting in the moment, But also we talked, and in a weird way, it actually got Zoe and I to bond because we realized that we were feeling the same things, but we were just articulating it in different ways. And I was going through things at that time because it is such an emotional, rocky journey and we sometimes like as people don't know how to communicate well. And I really do think in a weird way, it just it got us to really see each other in a different light. 00:12:39 Speaker 1: That's good. 00:12:40 Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna ask you. I feel like this kind of ties into this part of the story. We see Alex cuddling her Lama, crying her eyes out about you know, Zoe and how the girls have kind of tried to connect with her and there was this struggle there. Do you feel like there was this kind of maybe tension or like inability to connect with Zoe. Maybe those first few weeks that once you were able to have that breakthrough moment helped the drama. Was Zoe moving forward? 00:13:15 Speaker 2: Definitely? I think again, just coming off of that first day and it being so intense and we're not really seeing Zoe's true side, it definitely put a bad taste in a lot of people's mouth, and I think it was really hard for her to recover from that. It's like when everyone's mad at you to an extent and then you try to like crawl out of the grave. It's very hard. So I think both of us being on a vulnerable level. At that point, we were finally able to just like say like, Okay, what are you going through? What am I going through? Like it seems like we're going through the same thing, but we're just not saying it in the same way. 00:13:51 Speaker 3: Right in your hand if you're responding to it, like with your actions differently as well. Right, because we do see her steal time from Ali Joe twice, which you know that was her approach, not your approach, and there's kind of that like, you know, I don't know why you're doing that, but you know you're all just trying to get the same end goal as much. But it also probably makes it hard in the beginning because it seems like you're close with you were close with Ali Joe to maybe want to trust Zoe in the beginning as well. 00:14:23 Speaker 2: Yeah, I think at that time it's like being on that date, we all kind of bonded in that sense. So it's like, yeah, I was definitely felt slighted because she did still him during the time on the basketball date, so that sucks. And again, it is such limited time. I don't think people realize that. So in that moment, I definitely I could see where Ali Joe was upset, but then it's just a it's a really difficult situation. It's you know, you could see both sides of it. 00:14:50 Speaker 1: Okay, So now let's jump to the Carolina of it all. So at this point in the show, which we're on episode four, what is your take on Carolina? Because what we figured out, what we believe is the issue is Carolina got one on one time. A lot of the other women in the house didn't get that one on one time. Carolina is talking, it is very negative about the whole situation in that she just still doesn't really know Grant and all the other women are like, well, we needn't even get that time that you got, so fuck you. Yeah, actually yes, So what is your take on it all? 00:15:31 Speaker 2: Listen, I don't know the full story at that point of what's going on, and I will just sum it up in terms of, like it is a huge game of telephone. It's like, we don't know exactly what was said, and I think she felt a certain way after her date. But I do feel like she should have kept that to herself because when you feel a certain way and you communicate it to other girls who haven't had time with it, you're in a sense poisoning the well because we have not had time with him and we have not gotten to know him. So you having a negative perception is going to make our heads all think, Okay, well is this going on? Is he like not? And I just didn't think that was there in that moment to do. 00:16:22 Speaker 1: Before we go to this week's one on one, you were on a group date where there was only three women. 00:16:29 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that vander Pump Dogs group date. 00:16:31 Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that's the first time they ever did a group date this early on where there's only three people on it. 00:16:37 Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent. And it was your second group date of the week for all three of you because sadly we saw Beverly went home and that spot opened up. 00:16:46 Speaker 2: I know sadly Beverly did go home like so much love for her, honestly, truly, she's so amazing. But yes, a spot did open up, and that is my dream date. I love Dogs one and then two leading meeting Lisa Vanderbump was a dream. I'm a huge Vandles fan, so seeing her was so exciting. But yeah, it's just like really special. Again, we had such limited time, so also having that little extra time this week. That week was just really beneficial, and I really feel like Graham and I had a great conversation in terms of like me not feeling like I'm opening up fully. Like I said, it was really hard for me from the beginning, and we do talk about my ability to open up and how I am slightly and little by little throughout the time. 00:17:32 Speaker 1: There, got it nice? Okay, so you guys, you guys go to Madrid. So your first time on Madrid? 00:17:39 Speaker 2: No, it's my second time. Yeah, so really exciting, so amazing. 00:17:44 Speaker 1: You get a one on one date which just looks awful, Like were you surprised? 00:17:54 Speaker 2: Guys? No, best date of my life. I know that sounds psychotic and there's probably something wrong with me, But. 00:18:03 Speaker 3: Are you an adrenaline junkie? 00:18:05 Speaker 2: Like? 00:18:05 Speaker 3: Are you someone that would want to bungee jump somewhere? 00:18:08 Speaker 2: No? But I was like, you know what if I get a one on one date, like I love clothes, don't get me wrong, but I didn't want a shopping date, like I feel like that's just so. I didn't want that. I wanted something that was exciting and something that was fun. And when I found out I was doing that, I could not have been happier because I again, I fin to Madrid, and I don't know Grant went to Madrid, but we've both never been to Madrid and bungee jumps, so I think it's just like it's something that was so cool to do with someone and I loved it. I and the rain added an extra element of excitement. I my hair looked terrible, but it's fine. 00:18:40 Speaker 1: Were you worried about like you guys were being you know, tied up. Were you worried like your head was going to hit his head or anything like that. 00:18:49 Speaker 2: No, but I did ask her if it was if anyone has ever done this in the rain, and she said she didn't think so. So I was like, I wasn't sure about that, but you know, we just went for it. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: Ayperst you did sign? Was was that like a you know, like you may die? 00:19:06 Speaker 2: Yea? Yeah? Yeah. I was like if you can't do it, yeah, you can't do it essentially, and she was like, yeah, you'll be fine. I think, oh my god. 00:19:16 Speaker 1: Grant was freaking out though, wasn't. 00:19:18 Speaker 2: He He was freaking out. But I was just like, I need a hairdye and I'm ready to go, like I was so excited to do it. 00:19:25 Speaker 3: I feel like that's a good thing you needed to balance out on days like that. You can't both be totally freaking out. I mean you can, but it's a lot harder. 00:19:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, And honestly, like throughout all of this, he's made me feel so comfortable and so confident and so safe that it was really nice to kind of reciprocate that in that time because I genuinely, I mean, I was afraid, but I didn't out really show it, because I think if both of us freak out, it's just a mess. So I'm really happy I was able to internalize out of it. 00:19:55 Speaker 3: What were your goals or intentions going into your one on one date? What were you hoping for. 00:20:02 Speaker 2: To fully open up? I think that, you know, we had small nuggets of you know, opening up and little things that we spoke about, but I really feel like I wanted to scratch more of the surface during this time, because again, it's really hard when you know it's shuffling girls and you only get like a few minutes. And this was genuinely a time where I could sit down and actually have a conversation with him and just feel comfortable and not like you know, a girl's coming around the corner in two minutes. So I feel like we really needed this time, especially like hometowns being in two weeks, not. 00:20:36 Speaker 1: A while they're in two weeks. Not to get off, not to get enough of this topic, but jumping back or just going back to your the group date, were you at all worried that since you were on a smaller group date that may take you out of the running for a one on one date? 00:20:53 Speaker 2: Definitely, because at that point it's it was fourteen girls and then it goes down to ten and it's so crazy to even say this, but at ten only three girls have had a one on one day. Wow, So that's that's insane. And then again, hometown's being in two weeks, it's like the chances of you getting a one on one are very slim, So when you do get it, you're so lucky for that time and so fortunate for that time. So then I think that goes back to the Carolina stuff where it's like, you know, when you do have that moment, appreciate it, if that makes sense. And yeah, were. 00:21:29 Speaker 3: You surprised that you got the one on one date this week? Because I was saying you know, we saw you, Lytia and Dina were on that small group date, and then Lytia got that night portion, and then we saw you and Dina got that one on one day. So if I'm in your shoes when Dina gets that first one on one, I'm probably thinking like, it's not going to be me, Like I'm not. Also, yeah, I love and if it's. 00:21:50 Speaker 1: Not, it's almost like you're going home because he chose two women from the group day and then not you. 00:21:57 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'd be freaking out. 00:21:59 Speaker 2: No, I was teaking. I was like, I came all the way to Spain, like I think I had four sangrias that You're like, it's over for me. I was like, you know what, I'm in Spain. I'm just going to drink as many sangria as as possible. And like I was tweaking. I was, but no, I mean it really does take patience at that point, and everyone's probably like, why is this girl freaking out? But yeah, to your point, it's like, you know that we had the group date, Latia gets one and Indina gets one, and then you're like, okay, well what about me? In nonsense, but no, I mean I just had to wait that night, and that just shows how much I am as a person too. I never realized. 00:22:37 Speaker 1: So then we go jump to the night portion of the date and it's going, I mean my point of view, it is going really well. 00:22:45 Speaker 3: Yeah, it seemed to be going great. It seems like you guys were both really able to connect on your relationships with your mom. We loved the moment that we saw between the two of you. You know, obviously you got really deep, but this was a little bit more of like a lighthearted well he's. 00:22:58 Speaker 1: Like, well, well, when I go to make out with you, you're not really like into it, so. 00:23:01 Speaker 3: Like, and he's like trying to like unpack like what that means about you as a person, and you're like, I just don't want my mom to see me kissing you. It's not that deep. 00:23:12 Speaker 2: So I mean, so I didn't feel that way in the moment, but like, okay, it's for contacts. When you are kissing on camera, it's a camera crew all of America, your producer who you've become. Yes, it's awkward. It is. 00:23:30 Speaker 3: I used to sometimes be like, could you guys back up, Like I'm trying to pretend you're not here, and I'm I can't, like you have like, can you back up? It's hard, it is, it is so hard, and it's like nothing against And I also am really weird about PDA as well, So this is PDA to the eleventh degree. And I felt so bad in that moment because I'm like, I promise you, it is not you. It is just my mom is watching right now, and like, yeah, you have that in the back of your head. 00:24:01 Speaker 2: Yeah. It was just like, why am I thinking about my mom? 00:24:03 Speaker 3: But I get it, I get it. That was so funny. 00:24:06 Speaker 1: Did that land with him though? Do you think he was like, Okay, that makes sense. 00:24:10 Speaker 2: No. I think it totally made sense, especially because I've talked so much about my mom and like for context as well, my family did not want me to do the show. They were very against it. I don't think Reality TV was in their cards for me. But I think eventually they were like, you know what, if this is what you want to do, as long as you show yourself in a way that you're proud of at the end of the day, go for it. So I think he understood that, like my hesitation at times, but no, it's not that I don't like making out with him. It's just that I am afraid. 00:24:43 Speaker 3: Of all the conversations you guys had on your one on one, was there one that stood out as being the most impactful, the most meaningful. 00:24:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I don't know what's shown, but I did talk about my dating life and just I had a very hard time dating a couple of years ago because I feel like I was never really chosen, if that makes sense. I feel like no one really and again it could have been because I also wasn't fully giving myself, but I just feel like, you know, I heard so many times like you're so great on paper, and you're so kind, and you're so nice, and you're so beautiful, but you're just not for me, and that after a while cuts so deep and it's very hard to hear. And throughout my entire time with Grant, I really do feel like he wanted to hear what I had to say, and he listened and he let me have that sace to open up. 00:25:38 Speaker 3: That's great, that's amazing. It's got to be hard to be in an environment where he's dating a bunch of other girls. If that is something that you've experienced in your past, Yeah. 00:25:47 Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like yeah, you've experienced this, but you go on a show where a guys dating twenty five girl. It's like, make it make sense. But yeah, you're like. 00:25:54 Speaker 3: He chows me and everyone else tonight. 00:25:57 Speaker 2: Great. Yeah. Yeah. 00:26:00 Speaker 1: Would you say after this date, would you would you say, like this process did? Was the process working for you? Were you like, Okay, I get how I get I get this. 00:26:12 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was definitely working. And before this, I thought I was like just fully whole, I had everything together, and I felt like I was, you know, I fully worked on myself. But throughout this, you learned so much more about yourself and you work on yourself even more. And I didn't think I was gonna be able to dig as deep as I feel like I could have and opened up as much. So not only do I feel like it was working in terms of like I was going to connection, but I was also just like growing myself a lot more as well. 00:26:45 Speaker 3: Jumping to the cocktail party, we see a lot go down a lot with Carolina and Juliana, and then we also see Carolina and Rose not really get into it, but kind of just you know, circle back to what has been going on between them with the conversation and the drama. 00:27:08 Speaker 1: With Graham Rose at this point, right, Yeah, yeah, that's that's a great feeling because yeah, I'm. 00:27:15 Speaker 3: Like three one, Yeah, that's okaat But we see Rose send yourself home. Was that a surprise to you? What was the reaction in the house. 00:27:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, So the Rose situation, will I'll say, is I think going back to week three in La that cocktail party or that Rose ceremony night, you really don't see Rose speak much. And I think it's because she was one caught so caught off guard. And I think, similar to myself, I think she she thinks about things before she actually speaks. So I think she was like really trying to understand what one he was saying, what he might have said in the past, and what Carolyna might have said about her. And I think from then she kind of treated back into herself and took that also into Spain. And I think going back going to the Rose ceremony in Madrid, I think all that bubbled up because she again it is this giant phone of telephone at this point, and all of that bubbling up. I think it unfortunately like bursted on her, and I think it was just I think she reached her Lemon at that point, So I just I feel so bad about that. 00:28:26 Speaker 3: That's what it felt. It felt like, as much as we were sad to see her go, it felt like it was the best decision for her based on how everything had played out. 00:28:35 Speaker 1: Okay, okay, hypothetical hair right, And I don't know, I don't know, we don't really know what went down. But if you were on stage dancing with Grant and then you come back to the mansion and you were chatting. 00:28:49 Speaker 3: With Juliana Juliana Bailey. 00:28:52 Speaker 1: Anyway, and Juliana's like, well, just just so you know, when he was dancing with you, he told me he was thinking of me. How would you handle that like I would? For me, I think it's hard to keep that in Like, how do you not call the guy out because you're like, well, what the fuck? 00:29:11 Speaker 2: Yes, I think it goes back to it's not what's sad, but it's how you say it. And I think I would have phrased the conversation way differently. But it is also very hard to hear. But then you also have to remember it is so early on, so that's another thing. Also, one thing that I did in the house is I never listened to what other people's conversations were. I didn't want to hear because I'm not great with like hearing what other people have to say or what their connection is like that would call you to fire. 00:29:42 Speaker 3: Yeah, so ignorance is bliss in the situation. And if you can avoid hearing or talking about it, and sometimes you can't, but if you can, it's the best option because you're one hundred percent going to hear him say something to someone that's going to hurt your feelings, even if it's a respectable he's just complimenting someone in a nice way. Like, it's still very emotionally confusing to hear someone you like say sweet things just your friend. 00:30:11 Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I remember at some point we were just like I love you, I'm so glad you had so much fun. But I don't want to hear it. Like that's just it's setting a boundary for yourself for you to. 00:30:21 Speaker 3: S yes, which is I agree, the right decision, but also sometimes easier said than done, as we've. 00:30:26 Speaker 2: Seen, Yeah, it's sometimes it is. 00:30:28 Speaker 1: Also. Yeah, I feel bad for Rose too, because I feel like she got caught up in a situation really early on that just took her out, Like it was like after that, it was. 00:30:36 Speaker 2: Basically yeah, And it's also so hard to like come back from that because then it's like, again, it is so little time and it goes so quickly that like that little hiccup can defer you so much from a hundred. 00:30:52 Speaker 3: Any setback on this show is very, very hard to come back from because you were working with so limited time. You almost need to always be moving your relationship forward or you're gonna get left behind. And sometimes I'm not seeing that. You know, that's not wasn't Rose's hopes and dreams was to you know, but or anyone's really But sometimes it, unfortunately is just the situation and it happens and there's nothing that can be done about it. We also saw Natalie and Priiza go home. Any surprises there was were they did? They feel like it was kind of their time? 00:31:24 Speaker 2: I mean, I again, I never really talked about other people's connection. I know Nale and Prisa are the sweetest girls, So yeah, it is definitely surprising, and I think just with a lot of the drama, it was surprising in terms of like who stayed and who go But again, you don't know other people's connection and how far along he is with other people, but they're so sweet and amazing and they'll be fine. 00:31:53 Speaker 1: Well, we're gonna play a little game before we do. Can you tease next week? 00:31:57 Speaker 2: A little bit jaw dropping? 00:31:58 Speaker 1: A little bit jaw dropping? 00:31:59 Speaker 3: Okay dropping? 00:32:00 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:32:01 Speaker 1: I like that. Okay, We're gonna play a quick game, rapid fire. Get to know Sarah finaw you ready? 00:32:07 Speaker 2: Yeah? 00:32:07 Speaker 1: What your love language? 00:32:11 Speaker 2: Quality times? 00:32:11 Speaker 1: What does your go to drink at a bar? 00:32:15 Speaker 2: White wine preferably since there? 00:32:17 Speaker 1: Who is someone that inspires you? 00:32:21 Speaker 2: My sister? 00:32:22 Speaker 1: What music artists would you love to see perform live? 00:32:26 Speaker 2: I've seen him like five times. 00:32:28 Speaker 1: But Drake, if you were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring two girls from your season, who would you bring? 00:32:38 Speaker 2: Two girls? 00:32:39 Speaker 1: It's all you get? 00:32:42 Speaker 2: Okay? Do you know? Because she would get me out of any situation, truly, she's so smart. And then Lettia because she makes me laugh so much. 00:32:52 Speaker 1: What is your dream vacation destination? 00:32:56 Speaker 2: I really want to go to Africa? 00:32:57 Speaker 1: Favorite comfort movie or TV show? 00:33:01 Speaker 2: I love rom coms. How Elizabe in Ten Days? My favorite? 00:33:06 Speaker 1: How do you? How do you unwind after a long day? 00:33:12 Speaker 2: I light a candle, I take a shower and I watch a show. 00:33:19 Speaker 1: What are your three? What show are you watching right now? 00:33:23 Speaker 2: So I love to rewatch? Controversial I apparently said I watched grazon Natter three times, which I actually have, but I have it on just like I have it in the background. I don't actually just like stick there. 00:33:33 Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I was like, how are you doing this? Are you you must have been only watching Graysonnatmi for the last like twenty years of your life. 00:33:43 Speaker 2: I just I just have it on in the background, like if I'm working it's on. But like, yes, I do watch it quite. 00:33:49 Speaker 1: I've never seen one. 00:33:52 Speaker 3: I think you should watch it. It's so good, But you are like a bit of a hypochondriact, so you'd have to get past it. Well, yeah, we're going to like the er every single night. 00:34:03 Speaker 2: Joe's like, I have that. 00:34:06 Speaker 1: What are yeh? What are three essentials you always have in your purse? 00:34:13 Speaker 2: Oh? Lift, gloss, hand lotion, and I'm trying to think what else? Oh, also floss because I go out for dinner a lot and I hate when there's like stuff stuck in my teeth and I go out for the night. 00:34:28 Speaker 3: Joe is a huge there's floss, not the strands. But like the little packets of floss are everywhere in our apartment. I find them everywhere. 00:34:35 Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to get the picks those. Really, you can get into it if. 00:34:38 Speaker 1: You're if you're a grown up and you don't floss, I have a big a problem with that. 00:34:43 Speaker 2: No. Yeah, it's a curbing And. 00:34:46 Speaker 1: If you could describe Grant season in one word, what would it be? 00:34:52 Speaker 2: Oh, I know this, I'm gonna say it again, jaw dropping dropping. 00:34:57 Speaker 3: Okay, well yeah, I'm say we're about halfway, so lots more to come. 00:35:05 Speaker 1: Yeah, alright, Serafina, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day coming on the podcast. 00:35:10 Speaker 2: Thank you guys so much for having me.
