WWE Week in Review: Randy's Attack on Cody, Jade & Rhea Promo, Seth's Masked Men Charade, McIntyre Quits

<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania is just five weeks away. In this past week
<v Speaker 1>in w WE, we did see a lot of progression
<v Speaker 1>towards that card and what we could be seeing who
<v Speaker 1>may or may not show up. That is always speculative.
<v Speaker 1>I've made the case for potentially a huge match with Brock,
<v Speaker 1>Lesnar and Stone Cold Steve Boston that Jim Ross has
<v Speaker 1>really poured like a lot of cold water on I mean,
<v Speaker 1>Jim Ross has essentially destroyed my dream match for this year,
<v Speaker 1>and every passing year is even more of a chance
<v Speaker 1>that it'll never happen. But I can still dream. I
<v Speaker 1>don't think it'll happen. I'm not trying to start a rumor.
<v Speaker 1>I don't believe that we will see Austin and Brock.
<v Speaker 1>But with the stars aligning Tomorrow night with Austin three sixteen,
<v Speaker 1>March sixteenth, three sixteen only happens on a Monday every
<v Speaker 1>seven years, so it's seems very fun to think about.
<v Speaker 1>But we'll have to dream another dream, I guess, unless
<v Speaker 1>it happens. But I'll be the first to come on
<v Speaker 1>here and lose my mind and in a good way
<v Speaker 1>for the first time. Right So anyway, WrestleMania five weeks
<v Speaker 1>away and we saw see him punk This past week
<v Speaker 1>with Roman reigns and again not showing up. We have
<v Speaker 1>Ree Ripley and Jade Cargill come face to face once
<v Speaker 1>again and Jade's most comprehensive promo maybe ever. And it's
<v Speaker 1>actually not a lot of negative I have to say
<v Speaker 1>about Jade this week. She actually I think did a
<v Speaker 1>decent job. We'll talk about that. If you want the

<v Speaker 1>a great job covering it this past week. We would

<v Speaker 1>One more thing before we get into this week in WWE,
<v Speaker 1>and that is on the video game front. Now, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if you're a gamer, it may not be.
<v Speaker 1>I used to be really into it. I mean I'm
<v Speaker 1>back to dog No Mercy Days, WWF Attitude, war Zone,
<v Speaker 1>even WWF raw on the Psyga Genesis. I go back
<v Speaker 1>that far. If you remember or even know what the
<v Speaker 1>psycha genesis is. But I mean, I've gone through all
<v Speaker 1>the iterations of SmackDown from shut your mouth, I mean
<v Speaker 1>smacked on one, two, three, just bring it, shut your mouth.
<v Speaker 1>I believe here comes the pain and then beyond and
<v Speaker 1>smack den versus Raw six, seven, eight nine, T right,
<v Speaker 1>I mean all the way through WWE twelve, w thirteen.
<v Speaker 1>I don't I don't need to go through everything, but
<v Speaker 1>you get it. I have never ever seen a wrestling
<v Speaker 1>game come out that is more greedy and predatory than
<v Speaker 1>the two K twenty six game is now Itly, it
<v Speaker 1>looks like a very good game. Graphically, the rag Dolph
<v Speaker 1>physics look like a blast. And maybe you are a
<v Speaker 1>video gamer or you're not, but either way, it's important
<v Speaker 1>for you to hear this because it just underscores what
<v Speaker 1>a lot of fans have been pushing back against, and
<v Speaker 1>that is TKO's blatant, just complete disrespective fans and doing
<v Speaker 1>everything and anything they can to squeeze every dollar out
<v Speaker 1>of their pocket. I know that a company's goal is
<v Speaker 1>to make money, otherwise they don't exist. I get it,
<v Speaker 1>but this is egregious and the way that WWE structured
<v Speaker 1>their game. They did different editions of the game. You
<v Speaker 1>can download the basic game for like sixty seventy bucks,
<v Speaker 1>which is standard, and that used to be all that
<v Speaker 1>a video game would be. No matter what the game was,
<v Speaker 1>that's all it would be. There's no add ons, attachments,
<v Speaker 1>battle pass, that's it. Now, of course you have and
<v Speaker 1>this is not just w WA, this is tons of games.
<v Speaker 1>I mean you have Battlefield, you have Call of Duty,
<v Speaker 1>you go on down list, GTA and GJA is going
<v Speaker 1>to cost everyone a fortune and they'll willingly pay it.
<v Speaker 1>But WWE this past year has adopted the battle pass,
<v Speaker 1>so they call it a ring pass version of the game,
<v Speaker 1>where you download whatever version, whether it's the Monday Night
<v Speaker 1>War era version which is like one hundred and twenty dollars,
<v Speaker 1>or the regular game which is like seventy bucks. And
<v Speaker 1>even if you mind the most expensive version of the game,
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't unlock every character that you want it to unlock.
<v Speaker 1>You then have to do either a grind of going
<v Speaker 1>through tears, which take an exorbitant amount of time, and
<v Speaker 1>then there are so there's certain there's up to five,
<v Speaker 1>five or six tiers in every season, and this year
<v Speaker 1>there are going to be a total of six seasons,
<v Speaker 1>and you can get the Ringside Pass for ten dollars
<v Speaker 1>a month that will allow you to get downloadable content
<v Speaker 1>and certain unlockables, but you still have to grind and
<v Speaker 1>do matches to obtain XP to unlock more stars that
<v Speaker 1>you want, in versions of stars that you want, even
<v Speaker 1>though you just paid a stupid amount of money for
<v Speaker 1>a game that really doesn't deserve it. You then have
<v Speaker 1>to buy the Ringside Pass to get the downloadable content,
<v Speaker 1>but you can do a cheat code where you bypass
<v Speaker 1>all of that and just unlock everything, but that's an
<v Speaker 1>additional forty dollars per season per season, and there's six
<v Speaker 1>seasons that they are going to issue throughout the year.
<v Speaker 1>That means someone did math on this that if you
<v Speaker 1>wanted to go through between now and the end of
<v Speaker 1>this calendar year before they start promoting and developing two
<v Speaker 1>K twenty seven, which the probably already doing, they would
<v Speaker 1>charge you if you did all the unlockables and did
<v Speaker 1>the high version of the game seven hundred and ninety
<v Speaker 1>four dollars US dollars. That's over one thousand dollars Canadian
<v Speaker 1>and I mean take that and translate it to whatever
<v Speaker 1>currency you have but to unlock everything and not have
<v Speaker 1>to do the grind eight hundred dollars US dollars, which
<v Speaker 1>is double some of the like you could buy two consoles,
<v Speaker 1>current Gen consoles for that amount of money. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>you've got to be shitting me. That is now TKO
<v Speaker 1>And they'd be saying, well, we're just you know, we're
<v Speaker 1>working with a model that others have found successful, like
<v Speaker 1>call of duty, but they're not call of duty. Let's
<v Speaker 1>be honest with each other. They are not call of duty.
<v Speaker 1>And even Call of Duty this year has faced a
<v Speaker 1>lot of scrutiny because of the way that they were
<v Speaker 1>developed and their development team. I won't get into that
<v Speaker 1>part of it because some political stuff there, but they've
<v Speaker 1>come under some fire the way that they developed it,
<v Speaker 1>the way that the game has kind of changed and
<v Speaker 1>been kind of just reimagined in a way that I
<v Speaker 1>don't think their korate. It's enjoyed, but they're not call
<v Speaker 1>of duty. Nowhere near call of duty. And they are
<v Speaker 1>trying to adopt that model because they see that it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be a constant revenue stream. And I understand
<v Speaker 1>that it's a constant revenue stream where the fans are
<v Speaker 1>constantly paying for a game that they just bought. You
<v Speaker 1>already bought the game. All the game's price is like
<v Speaker 1>the sixty or eighty dollar version of the one hundred
<v Speaker 1>and twenty dollar version. If you want to go to
<v Speaker 1>Money at War edition, that is just a it's a gateway,
<v Speaker 1>a doorway to just pay more money. You're paying TKO
<v Speaker 1>and the Development Core money to just have to earn
<v Speaker 1>the right to spend more of your money. That's all
<v Speaker 1>that is. Because they want you to get in the
<v Speaker 1>door so that you can then buy the Ringside Pass
<v Speaker 1>and then go, oh my god, the grind, and the
<v Speaker 1>grind is ridiculous. They figured it out where you would
<v Speaker 1>have to play three or four hundred matches to win
<v Speaker 1>those matches to get through all of the grind to
<v Speaker 1>actually get all the unlockables. It's absolutely ridiculous. And so
<v Speaker 1>what they've done is essentially predatory and make it so
<v Speaker 1>that the grind is just so unbearable that you just like,
<v Speaker 1>screw it, I'll just pay it. And they know that,
<v Speaker 1>and they figured it out, and they know that the
<v Speaker 1>people aren't gonna want to do it, and they're impatient.
<v Speaker 1>They just want the unlockables that they honestly should just
<v Speaker 1>be giving out at this point, you're already paying a
<v Speaker 1>stupid amount. Here's the thing, here's how I look at it.
<v Speaker 1>If you pay for the Monday Net War Edition, everything
<v Speaker 1>should be unlocked, period and a subject.
<v Speaker 2>That's it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, if you pay that much money for a game,
<v Speaker 1>not a console, a game, you should earn all of
<v Speaker 1>the unlockables.
<v Speaker 2>That's it.
<v Speaker 1>And that's not what the Monday Night War Edition does.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm glad that I was became enlightened to this,
<v Speaker 1>So be careful, guys. You get end up spending eight
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars on this video game, a game, not a console,
<v Speaker 1>and it just continues to support the idea that TKO
<v Speaker 1>will do any everything to get every dollar out of
<v Speaker 1>your wallet. It is very much, very much on brand
<v Speaker 1>for what TKO has adopted in their policy forwwe's marketing,
<v Speaker 1>the ticket sales, it just all falls in line perfectly.
<v Speaker 1>They're not marketing to families, Mister Mark Shapiro, the president,
<v Speaker 1>famously saying that the ticket prices, it's just everything merch.
<v Speaker 1>So I mean, really, Dan Housen's that's the only reason
<v Speaker 1>he's here. He's not here to put on good matches.
<v Speaker 1>He's here to simply be a T shirt marketing tool,
<v Speaker 1>and so far he has been. And hey, everyone's making money. Fine,
<v Speaker 1>But that is just the embodiment of TKO's mindset and
<v Speaker 1>they're not ashamed at all of putting that forward. So
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to bring the to your attention if you
<v Speaker 1>care about that, even if you're not a gamer, you
<v Speaker 1>should be aware of it because two K twenty six
<v Speaker 1>is going to be marketed in your face, whether you
<v Speaker 1>game or not, and realize that it is very much
<v Speaker 1>on brand with what they do and how they market
<v Speaker 1>today with other things other than video games, which I
<v Speaker 1>find just it's nauseating. And it also fits perfectly in
<v Speaker 1>with the sponsors being plastered on the canvas and all
<v Speaker 1>over the apron and every five seconds, and you know,
<v Speaker 1>it's just egregious. It's gross actually, But all right, so
<v Speaker 1>let's continue here. Let's talk about this week in WWE,
<v Speaker 1>and let me start off with the Randy Orton hill turn.
<v Speaker 1>I have to start off with this, and I'll get
<v Speaker 1>through as much as SmackDown as I can and talk
<v Speaker 1>a little bit about raw. But the Randy Orton hill turn,
<v Speaker 1>it was the right call. It was the right call,
<v Speaker 1>because I mean, it would have been a very uninteresting
<v Speaker 1>build to WrestleMania. You can have a gentleman's you just
<v Speaker 1>kind of made the best man win type of build
<v Speaker 1>to WrestleMania for the next five weeks. You just can't
<v Speaker 1>do that. Or you can, but it's going to be
<v Speaker 1>very boring and there's only so far you can go
<v Speaker 1>with that. You have to cut yourself off because of
<v Speaker 1>they're both babyfaces. What are you going to do? Well?
<v Speaker 1>They decided to make Randy the heel, and hey, I
<v Speaker 1>would have loved to have seen Cody, and I think
<v Speaker 1>at this point it's pretty much sealed that Cody's not
<v Speaker 1>turning heel at WrestleMania. That would be kind of silly
<v Speaker 1>with Randy being the hot heel coming in and then
<v Speaker 1>trying to turn Cody at the event. That just built
<v Speaker 1>Randy as a heel. Kind of weird. I don't think
<v Speaker 1>they're going that way, which is sad to me. I
<v Speaker 1>was hoping they'd try to turn Cody because again, I
<v Speaker 1>still believe his best days are as a heel. Cody
<v Speaker 1>as champion is simply boring. But there's a good chance
<v Speaker 1>that Randy Orton wins here not a prediction yet, but
<v Speaker 1>there's not a insignificant chance that he wins. I think
<v Speaker 1>there's a good chance Randy Orton wins and wins his
<v Speaker 1>fifteenth I believe. So we'll get into the predictions, of course,
<v Speaker 1>much later down the line. But they made this program
<v Speaker 1>much more interesting. And the brutality in which he attacked Cody,
<v Speaker 1>I think was what it needed to be. It was
<v Speaker 1>on point, it needed to be vicious. Blood was warranted there,
<v Speaker 1>and they did everything they could to make sure Randy
<v Speaker 1>did not get cheered, kicking Cody right in the nuts
<v Speaker 1>using a chair shot that obviously was extremely safe. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the steel steps took the chair shot and not if
<v Speaker 1>it wasn't even close, but I get the effect, and
<v Speaker 1>that's fine. What would have really sold it is if
<v Speaker 1>he punted Cody. I think maybe that'll come down the line.
<v Speaker 1>The brutality in which he attacked Cody was the viciousness
<v Speaker 1>is what sold it, and the crowd seemed to be
<v Speaker 1>into it. I gotta say, I'm very surprised, and same
<v Speaker 1>with Fatu. We'll talk about that in a little bit too.
<v Speaker 1>I'm very surprised that thus far WWE has been able
<v Speaker 1>to manipulate in the crowd just being able to go
<v Speaker 1>with you know, like, oh, well Drew got screwed. Who
<v Speaker 1>cares if fats if Fatuo's our guy? Really you sure?
<v Speaker 1>And same with Randy, I mean, Randy's beloved. Randy's even
<v Speaker 1>more of a shock because Cody once again being just
<v Speaker 1>shoehorned into the main event, forced in to replace Drew
<v Speaker 1>and having Randy Orton, a beloved, legendary babyface, turn on
<v Speaker 1>Cody and not have maybe even half the crowds here
<v Speaker 1>for him, I would say percent or maybe on Randy's
<v Speaker 1>side kind of surprising. Now this is only the beginning.
<v Speaker 1>We'll see how this translates down the road, and particularly
<v Speaker 1>at WrestleMania. When you have the crowd that is the
<v Speaker 1>very vocal it roth to WrestleMania, although in years past,
<v Speaker 1>recent years past has been disappointing. Traditionally has been a
<v Speaker 1>more vocal crowd. Again in recent years it's been really
<v Speaker 1>muted for whatever reason. But the crowds are going to
<v Speaker 1>get I think, more and more difficult as they move forward.
<v Speaker 1>And I'll have to look at the schedule to see
<v Speaker 1>what cities they're in, But if they're in any of
<v Speaker 1>the major cities, and I'd imagine they are. Then they
<v Speaker 1>need to be careful because if their idea is to
<v Speaker 1>not do a double turn or have Cody in any
<v Speaker 1>way boot or have Drew cheered or anything like that,
<v Speaker 1>then they need to be very careful, especially in those cities,
<v Speaker 1>because sometimes it can be monkey see monkey do from
<v Speaker 1>one city to the next. If one city starts to
<v Speaker 1>cheer and do something and love something that they're quote
<v Speaker 1>unquote not supposed to. I mean, people can see things
<v Speaker 1>at lightning speed now, and then the next crowd is
<v Speaker 1>going to go, oh wow, that is kind of cool.
<v Speaker 1>Listen to the reaction. I kind of get it, and
<v Speaker 1>then all of a sudden, that crowd does it, and
<v Speaker 1>then so on and so forth. So even if something
<v Speaker 1>happens in one city, don't think it'll just be isolated
<v Speaker 1>and contained to that city, because obviously with social media today,
<v Speaker 1>everything's just everything moves so quickly and spread and shared
<v Speaker 1>so quickly. Don't think it won't catch on with the
<v Speaker 1>next crowd. I mean, before or social media and smartphones,
<v Speaker 1>if something happened in one city, you'd be like, who cares,
<v Speaker 1>They're not aware, Let's move on to the next city.
<v Speaker 1>It's like its own different world, not today. So I'm
<v Speaker 1>very interested to see how things translate as we move forward,
<v Speaker 1>how Randy's received moving forward with the promos are going
<v Speaker 1>to be and now we can kind of go to town.
<v Speaker 1>We can unleash the beast, so to speak. There's nothing
<v Speaker 1>holding anyone back. Randy can be who Randy loves to be.
<v Speaker 1>He can say whatever he wants. Things can now get deeper, vicious,
<v Speaker 1>much more meaningful and interesting than it had it would
<v Speaker 1>have been if they were just two babyfaces heading into
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania trying to see who the best man wins. That's
<v Speaker 1>not the case anymore, so the right move by the company.
<v Speaker 1>I really don't have anything bad to say about this
<v Speaker 1>other than just it makes me sad that Cody's not
<v Speaker 1>going to be the one to turn heel. It's going
<v Speaker 1>to be Randy. But Randy's really good as a heel. Again,
<v Speaker 1>another safe choice, safe but smart choice. With Randy turning heel,
<v Speaker 1>we're getting that, we're getting the dynamic that really can
<v Speaker 1>open this whole program up to a whole different level
<v Speaker 1>and make it much more emotional than it otherwise would
<v Speaker 1>have been if it was just two good guys shaking
<v Speaker 1>hands and saying, gosh, golly, I hope I win. You know,
<v Speaker 1>no longer so good stuff there. Obviously, that happened at
<v Speaker 1>the end of SmackDown so on beginning though, at the
<v Speaker 1>beginning of the show, we had Nick Alldis shown reading
<v Speaker 1>the WrestleMania contract and Drew called it out and said
<v Speaker 1>all this, you can take this contract and shove it
<v Speaker 1>up your ass, and he didn't say urse, which was nice.
<v Speaker 1>And mctyre was then in the ring and McIntyre said
<v Speaker 1>all this couldn't help himself because he had to make
<v Speaker 1>sure he got his Golden boy, Cody the title a
<v Speaker 1>title match before WrestleMania, and Mcintyrell told all this to
<v Speaker 1>come out and make things right, and he'd say stay
<v Speaker 1>there all night, and all this walked down and said
<v Speaker 1>there was nothing to make right. He said McIntyre lost
<v Speaker 1>in a fair contest despite headbutting the ref and McIntyre
<v Speaker 1>called all this a corporate stooge, and all this said,
<v Speaker 1>you don't know who I am, where I've come from,
<v Speaker 1>and he added that he knows why McIntyre did everything
<v Speaker 1>he could to prevent Cody from getting a fair shot
<v Speaker 1>because the first time he got one he beat you,
<v Speaker 1>and he went face to face with all this and
<v Speaker 1>things got heated and McIntyre told alls to make it
<v Speaker 1>right or else. So things honestly are way more interesting
<v Speaker 1>between all this and McIntyre than they are with Fatu
<v Speaker 1>and McIntyre because, as Jacob Faughtu interrupted this, Fatu told
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre that he wouldn't have been champion were it not
<v Speaker 1>for him, and Fatu said he fixed the situation last week,
<v Speaker 1>so McIntyre is no longer champion. Fatu said, it's not
<v Speaker 1>about all this, Cody or anybody else. He said, if
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre wants to point fingers and blame people, keep it
<v Speaker 1>one hundred with him. I'm the one who screwed your
<v Speaker 1>And he said, what are you going to do about it?
<v Speaker 1>So I'll give it to Fatu. Here we learn that
<v Speaker 1>he can speak coherent English and he doesn't just grunt
<v Speaker 1>and snarl and speak in slang. That's good, you know,
<v Speaker 1>he can actually speak like a human being. That's what
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to see and he did, and so it's
<v Speaker 1>not really a complaint. That's a that's a compliment. Not
<v Speaker 1>everybody doesn't need to speak the same. But I have
<v Speaker 1>to understand what you're saying. Juso has a horrible habit
<v Speaker 1>of this. How many times did you hear a Jay
<v Speaker 1>us So promo when he's fired up and he's out
<v Speaker 1>of breath and you get every third to fourth word
<v Speaker 1>and you have to kind of fill in the blanks. Well,
<v Speaker 1>with Jacob Fatu, I understood what he said loud and
<v Speaker 1>clear and it made sense. So compliments to him. There
<v Speaker 1>you go. That'll make him very happy because I'm not
<v Speaker 1>criticizing him. I am just being a good little fan
<v Speaker 1>and I am going along with the product and shutting
<v Speaker 1>up and enjoying the product. Well, sorry to say for him,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't belong in a WrestleMania match with Drew McIntyre period.
<v Speaker 1>And hopefully now that Drew McIntyre said that he quit
<v Speaker 1>after he said you don't want going to do Drew
<v Speaker 1>told McIntyre or Drew told all this, and Fatu, you
<v Speaker 1>know what I'm gonna do? I quit and he dropped
<v Speaker 1>the mic and that was that. I mean, that's not
<v Speaker 1>the last we saw of him that night, but he
<v Speaker 1>quote unquote quit does make you wonder what he's gonna
<v Speaker 1>do here. It still looks like we could get a
<v Speaker 1>one on one McIntyre and a mctire and Fatu story.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want that going into WrestleMania, but then what
<v Speaker 1>else would Fatu do to me in all this? And
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre matchup is much more compelling that actually has been
<v Speaker 1>brewing behind the scenes and underneath the surface for a while,
<v Speaker 1>so I would actually prefer that, But again, that would
<v Speaker 1>leave out in the wilderness, and they can't do that
<v Speaker 1>with a rising star. So it looks like we're, sadly
<v Speaker 1>for McIntyre, are going to get a mctyre versus all
<v Speaker 1>vacatire versus too matchup at WrestleMania, and hey, mctyrell, to
<v Speaker 1>make the most of it, they both will the professionals. Man,
<v Speaker 1>what a fall from grace.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so.
<v Speaker 1>We have let's see, you're going to continue the first
<v Speaker 1>matchup of the night, which was Solo's to go on
<v Speaker 1>Tomatonga taking on Uncle Howdy and Eric Rowan a match again.
<v Speaker 1>This program, I'm over it. I've been over it for months.
<v Speaker 1>But they don't know where else to go with these
<v Speaker 1>two teams other than just have them face each other forever.

<v Speaker 1>she'll continue to prove herself and prove herself to the
<v Speaker 1>fans and to management. There's a very good chance that
<v Speaker 1>she retains at WrestleMania, but I am leaning more towards
<v Speaker 1>Rhea regaining it. This though, was good, and Ria coming out,
<v Speaker 1>and Ria daring Jade to hit her, but Jade exiting,
<v Speaker 1>which is what he'lls do. That's fine. And Ria then said,
<v Speaker 1>Jade ran her mouth, but now she's running from a fight.

<v Speaker 1>so we then have some backstage stuff jelly roll. I'm

<v Speaker 1>I said, Damian Priest and Our Truth took on Los
<v Speaker 1>Garzos or I'm sorry Garza, Angel and Berto and Priests

<v Speaker 1>to be his mentor and jelly Roll said no, and
<v Speaker 1>that was that. I mean, he got heated, and jelly
<v Speaker 1>Roll asked Miz if he was trying to take credit
<v Speaker 1>for him losing two hundred and fifty pounds, and jelly
<v Speaker 1>Roll got fired up about how he changed his life
<v Speaker 1>and worked hard, and he said miss should be disgusted
<v Speaker 1>for trying to take credit, and mis told jelly Roll
<v Speaker 1>that he liked him better when he was fat, that
<v Speaker 1>was really funny, and Jelly Roll said fat or skinny,
<v Speaker 1>he would whip missus ass and Jelly Roll said he's
<v Speaker 1>the locker room loser. I mean, we had Kit Wilson
<v Speaker 1>come out and eventually called jelly Roll toxic, and Wilson
<v Speaker 1>accused Jelly Roll of being fat phobic again, taking a
<v Speaker 1>lot of politically charged phrases, and I guess, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>what's the word I'm looking for kind of talking points
<v Speaker 1>and bringing them on air, which is kind of ballsy
<v Speaker 1>in today's world. But Wilson then said jelly Roll promotes
<v Speaker 1>an unhealthy standard of or eating standard, and then he
<v Speaker 1>got in his face, and Wilson ducked a punch from
<v Speaker 1>jelly Roll and hit the miss, and so jelly Roll
<v Speaker 1>knocks out the miss, or knocked him down. Jelly Roll,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, he's not exactly a polished performer, to say
<v Speaker 1>the least. I appreciate what he's doing. His music is
<v Speaker 1>halfway decent. I applaud him for losing as much weight
<v Speaker 1>as he did. His backstore is actually pretty fascinating in
<v Speaker 1>real life, but here, you know, it was kind of silly.

<v Speaker 1>doesn't turn around as if Wilson wouldn't try to retaliate

<v Speaker 1>looked like he learned it in elementary school. And then
<v Speaker 1>froze there because his reaction to the chair shot and
<v Speaker 1>having Cody Roads laying there bleeding out was him standing
<v Speaker 1>there right next to Cody and putting his hand over
<v Speaker 1>his mouth. That's not what dudes do. I mean, we
<v Speaker 1>don't do that if you're his girlfriend, if I was
<v Speaker 1>or Cody's wife, that's a reaction that you would you
<v Speaker 1>would have. But he put his hand over his mouth totally,
<v Speaker 1>I mean totally unaware. That doesn't not look good. I
<v Speaker 1>know he was going for dramatic and that's what he
<v Speaker 1>thinks the reaction should be. No, that's not the reaction

<v Speaker 1>beat the Rock, gave Austin the smoking Skull belt after
<v Speaker 1>the match, and leading of course into the Higher Power
<v Speaker 1>storyline where it was revealed that Vince was actually still
<v Speaker 1>an evil so ob one of the greatest reveals of
<v Speaker 1>all time and funniest reveals. But it's funny you mentioned that. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I've actually been starting to get into that as well.
<v Speaker 1>And you just look at the product how much different
<v Speaker 1>it was, and not that everything was great, but boy,

<v Speaker 1>It's a scripted, predetermined simulation of a sport, but it's
<v Speaker 1>not a real sport in the sense of actually competing
<v Speaker 1>to try to beat your opponent anyway. That said, it's
<v Speaker 1>funny that the more you try to produce and make
<v Speaker 1>sure that everybody gets their shit in in a sense
<v Speaker 1>that everybody's got a cute tagline and a marketing slogan
<v Speaker 1>that you want to make sure that everybody has their
<v Speaker 1>set right line, mindset at the right time. And the
<v Speaker 1>more you try to like micro manage that to make
<v Speaker 1>sure everything is just right, the more and less authentic
<v Speaker 1>it feels. Because it doesn't happen organically. There's no way
<v Speaker 1>to produce something and also have it feel very organic.

<v Speaker 1>authentic it's going to feel. And it's counterintuitive to what

<v Speaker 1>there's a case to be made for both Randy and
<v Speaker 1>Cody and or Punk and Roman. Both have deep stories.

<v Speaker 1>very safe, but they're very deep, and I hope they
<v Speaker 1>pull on everything they can from all the old footage
<v Speaker 1>and have sit down interviews whatever they need to do.

<v Speaker 1>sold on story and promos and video packages. They're not
<v Speaker 1>going to be sold in ring because no one's questioning
<v Speaker 1>the ability of any of these men, who are all veterans,
<v Speaker 1>all of them. They all perform at the highest level,
<v Speaker 1>all four men, So no one is worried about the
<v Speaker 1>quality of the match of either match. That's not what's
<v Speaker 1>the worry here. It's so what you're gonna do is
<v Speaker 1>sell it by your voice. That's what's gonna sell these
<v Speaker 1>matches and get people really ramped up. So's it's really
<v Speaker 1>it's so imperative that the video production team go back
<v Speaker 1>and dig out as much footage as they can from
<v Speaker 1>both of these stories, from legacy to Punk talking on
<v Speaker 1>Cold Cabana's podcast, maybe even bring out some of that

<v Speaker 2>would take approximately two weeks or longer for this issue

<v Speaker 2>and TENA collaborations with the NXT Invasion in TNA, in
<v Speaker 2>which on their previous episode of TNA on amc Arianna Grace,
<v Speaker 2>the new TNA Knockouts Champion and the mastermind behind the
<v Speaker 2>NXC Outsiders, defended her Knockouts title against none other than
<v Speaker 2>Jody Threat. This match lasted five minutes and thirty two
<v Speaker 2>seconds in which Ariana Grace retained the Knockouts title as
<v Speaker 2>Grace targeted Jody's injured ribs. Plus, there was a typic
<v Speaker 2>o Shenanigans at ringside from Ariana his boyfriend in Stacks,
<v Speaker 2>but Jody hit a seward side dive to Stacks to
<v Speaker 2>take him out. Arianna would attempt to use the stolen
<v Speaker 2>cobosock puppet from her father Missus Yeahtana Morella no Pun
<v Speaker 2>intended to knock out Jody Threat. This would then lead
<v Speaker 2>to a tug of wool over the sock puppet Cobra,
<v Speaker 2>in which Grace and Threat were battling over it. Threat
<v Speaker 2>felt even more pain in her injured ribs. Ariana Grace
<v Speaker 2>would once again take advantage of that and go for
<v Speaker 2>a quick roll up pin and win to get the
<v Speaker 2>victory and retain the Knockouts title. Also on this episode
<v Speaker 2>of TNA on AMC, we got an appearance from the
<v Speaker 2>TNA World Champion in Mike Santana, as he was in
<v Speaker 2>the ring with a microphone in hand to address the
<v Speaker 2>situation slash issue that he was having with Steve Macklin.
<v Speaker 2>He talks about how Maclin attacked the TNA announcer Tom
<v Speaker 2>haffinan even though in the past Halfanan has gone to
<v Speaker 2>great links in helping Steve Macklin time and time and
<v Speaker 2>time again. But Santana goes on to say that there
<v Speaker 2>is one thing that I've learned is that you can't
<v Speaker 2>save everybody. Santana then sends a direct message to Steve
<v Speaker 2>Macklin by saying, I'm going to play your little game.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna give you exactly what you want, and that
<v Speaker 2>is for Santina Morella to come out right now and
<v Speaker 2>reinstate Steve Macklin back into TNA so that Santana could
<v Speaker 2>put his hands to work and show him what it
<v Speaker 2>likes to be a real man. But all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 2>instead of getting the immediate appearance of Santina Morella, we
<v Speaker 2>would get the appearance of Daria Ray aka the suit
<v Speaker 2>the new stern TNA authority figure, as Daria took issue
<v Speaker 2>with Santana trying to dictate what happens by saying to
<v Speaker 2>Mike Santana, you don't run the show. I do. However,
<v Speaker 2>Daria agreed to Santana's idea of reinstating Steve Macklin and
<v Speaker 2>she made it official. But Daria warned Santana that she
<v Speaker 2>decides when Santana and Macklin will have their match. But
<v Speaker 2>pump the brakes, Daria. Hold up a minute, Daria, because
<v Speaker 2>we then get the appearance of the Director of Authority,
<v Speaker 2>mister Santana Morella, and he delivered a major announcement that
<v Speaker 2>Santana Versus Macklin will be for the TNA World Championship
<v Speaker 2>and it will be taking place at TNA's Sacrifice on Friday,
<v Speaker 2>March twenty seventh, Live from Weswego, Louisiana. Mike Santana concludes
<v Speaker 2>this episode of TENA on AMC in the form of
<v Speaker 2>a threat slash, warning that Steve Macklin has a date
<v Speaker 2>with debt. As we now are two weeks away to
<v Speaker 2>TEENA sacrifice of Mike Santana versus Steve Macklin fall in
<v Speaker 2>a world title and now to Joe Hendry, the NXT Champion.
<v Speaker 2>As we fast forward to last week's Saturday, Saturday, March seventh,
<v Speaker 2>Live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, as
<v Speaker 2>it was NXT Vengeance Day, as Joe Hendry was featured
<v Speaker 2>in the main event for the NXT Championship against none
<v Speaker 2>other than the Absolute Ricky Saint and Joe Hendry's first
<v Speaker 2>NXT title defense on a poleague. This match lasted sixteen
<v Speaker 2>minutes and fifteen second but as he fast forward to
<v Speaker 2>the midpoint of this match, we would get the appearance
<v Speaker 2>of all ego Ethan Page as he picks up the
<v Speaker 2>NXT title belt and looks at it with intent. Ricky
<v Speaker 2>Saints is seen crawling to get to Ethan and telling
<v Speaker 2>him to hand it over. From behind, Joe Hendry quickly
<v Speaker 2>goes for a schoolboy roll up on Ricky Saints. Ricky
<v Speaker 2>slips out of it and he delivers a spear to
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry in the middle of the ring. Once again,
<v Speaker 2>Ricky Saints is seen crawling to get to Ethan and
<v Speaker 2>telling Ethan to hand over the NXT title belt, but
<v Speaker 2>Ethan quickly shoves the nxty title belt away from Ricky
<v Speaker 2>Saints as it went near to Joe Hendry and I
<v Speaker 2>guess by accident, Ricky had that WTF look on his
<v Speaker 2>face as he was telling Ethan, why did you do that? Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>this led to a tug of war between Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 2>and Ricky Saints over the NXT title belt as the
<v Speaker 2>referee was trying to maintain some sort of order doing
<v Speaker 2>the course of this match in the ring between these
<v Speaker 2>two men. The referee takes the NXT title belt and
<v Speaker 2>places it in the corner of the ring. But while
<v Speaker 2>that is happening, Ricky Saint Sis Joe Hendry in the
<v Speaker 2>groin areas quickly goes for a revolution spinning DDT and
<v Speaker 2>the cover to Joe Hendry, but Joe kicks out at too.
<v Speaker 2>Ricky can't believe it. Ethan can't believe it. But as
<v Speaker 2>we fast forward to the finish of this match, when
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry was attempting to deliver a standing ovation choke
<v Speaker 2>slam to Ricky Saints, Ricky wriggles out of it and
<v Speaker 2>lands on the referee in the corner of the ring.
<v Speaker 2>Ricky swings Henry to the same corner of the ring
<v Speaker 2>as he almost crashes into the referee in the corner.
<v Speaker 2>Hendriy then delivers a low blowed to Ricky Saints. As
<v Speaker 2>the referee did not see the occurrent anyway, Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 2>goes for the standing ovation choke Slam to Ricky Saints,
<v Speaker 2>followed by the cover and one two three. After all
<v Speaker 2>of these sequens at Shenetigan's, Joe Hendry retains the NXT
<v Speaker 2>title to close off NXT Vengeance Date. And always remember this, folks,
<v Speaker 2>if you remember to say his name, he might just
<v Speaker 2>randomly appear. And he appeared last Little NXT the fall
<v Speaker 2>off from Vengeance Day, in which Joe Hendry, the NXT
<v Speaker 2>Champion was featured in a tag team main event match
<v Speaker 2>alongside the NXT North American Champion in Miles Bourne, as
<v Speaker 2>they went up against the tag team of Ricky Saints
<v Speaker 2>and Ethan Page. But prior to this point, earlier on
<v Speaker 2>on the show, we got Joe Hendry's name being mentioned
<v Speaker 2>doing a Tony d Angelo in ring promo in which
<v Speaker 2>Tony DiAngelo states that he's coming for the NXT Championship.
<v Speaker 2>Tony di'angelo continues on by saying Joe Hendry might be
<v Speaker 2>an NXT sensation, He's got no issue with him, and
<v Speaker 2>if this was him a year ago, he'd say they
<v Speaker 2>should have a sit down and break some bread. But
<v Speaker 2>that's not Tony's m O anymore. If he has to
<v Speaker 2>break Joe's face, that's what he'll do. Tony DiAngelo concludes
<v Speaker 2>by giving Joe Hendry a warning to prepare himself because
<v Speaker 2>I will not be denied and declares that I will
<v Speaker 2>be the next NXT champion. Very bold words from Tony
<v Speaker 2>D'Angelo in regard to the NX champion. But what's strange
<v Speaker 2>here is that, even though Tony DiAngelo said his name,
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry did not randomly appear in this situation. Kind
<v Speaker 2>of odd, but a future NXC title matchup of Henri
