<v Speaker 5>at I was at CIRCUSLA for eleven years in Las Vegas.

<v Speaker 5>It was awesome, but you know, we relaunched the brand
<v Speaker 5>and things like that, and it's kind of like passion
<v Speaker 5>was going away to be frank and for me having
<v Speaker 5>a great nine years there, in the last two years
<v Speaker 5>kind of being like, eh, it was you know, it
<v Speaker 5>was a disservice to them.
<v Speaker 1>To me, I wasn't feeling it.
<v Speaker 5>So when time came to go, I left and I
<v Speaker 5>took some time off, and unbeknownst to h everyone, I
<v Speaker 5>got reached out to on LinkedIn by Dan our Production,
<v Speaker 5>a man of everything, saying, hey, my name is Dan.
<v Speaker 5>I worked for a company called Anthem Anthem and.
<v Speaker 3>I just completely assumed Dreamer, like oh no, no, no.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it is crazy. What Dan rey all.
<v Speaker 5>He's a great guy for real, And he's like, I
<v Speaker 5>have the email. I work for Anthem. We're having trouble
<v Speaker 5>with uh with some sales thing for this company called
<v Speaker 5>Impact Wrestling. I'm like, is this a rib Like I
<v Speaker 5>was like huh, So I said, sure, like I'll talk,
<v Speaker 5>that's fine. So he calls me up and we're chatting.
<v Speaker 5>I was like, hey, do you know, like I know
<v Speaker 5>Scott and knowing everybody there for like twenty five years.
<v Speaker 1>He's like, what Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>It was literally say this is why we have you
<v Speaker 4>on Major Mark.
<v Speaker 3>Dude, today's years old.
<v Speaker 1>I just completely assumed that Dreamer just fucking scouted you
<v Speaker 1>and you know, said, hey, there's a spot.
<v Speaker 3>I know you know you'vent circing is really crazy.
<v Speaker 5>So it was it was basically like a recruiting cold call,
<v Speaker 5>and then we start chatting. I came on as a
<v Speaker 5>consultant for the first like for like five months. The
<v Speaker 5>initial discussion was also like, hey, if it go as well,
<v Speaker 5>we'd like to maybe talk a full time job stuff
<v Speaker 5>like that.
<v Speaker 1>So I ended up what happened and like it was
<v Speaker 1>junior July.
<v Speaker 5>We start having those conversations, and by September I was
<v Speaker 5>in You.
<v Speaker 1>Started last April and Poughkeepsie, right, was that Philly the week? Yeah?
<v Speaker 3>Philly? Yeah yeah.
<v Speaker 5>And then look, it was really strange in Philly, to
<v Speaker 5>be honest, and I've shared this with a bunch of people.
<v Speaker 5>It was like stepping back into the wrestling world and
<v Speaker 5>then also not being familiar with a lot like a.
<v Speaker 3>Lot I didn't know many of the guys, like anyone's name, hey.
<v Speaker 1>Man, Hamburger, Wendy Berger. I didn't know.
<v Speaker 5>I didn't know a lot of the guys. I mean,
<v Speaker 5>I knew like faces and names, piece it all together.
<v Speaker 5>So it's a little apprehensive.
<v Speaker 1>To be honest. Yeah, it was like it was a
<v Speaker 1>little strange.
<v Speaker 5>And then in Poughkeepsie, you kind of that's where it
<v Speaker 5>starts sinking in, Like, Yeah, first of all, this company
<v Speaker 5>works their asses off. The locker room is cool. It's
<v Speaker 5>everything I've heard, because you know, sometimes you hear that
<v Speaker 5>ship like yeah, oh this locker room is great, and
<v Speaker 5>you're going suck. It's just like okay, you know. But
<v Speaker 5>that's that's kind of what brought me back in. And
<v Speaker 5>I see impact as like there's just so much we
<v Speaker 5>can do, so much we are doing that we haven't
<v Speaker 5>been able to do before and whatnot. But it's not
<v Speaker 5>on what not what not, but impact is on whatnot,
<v Speaker 5>by the ways. So it was a combination of opportunity
<v Speaker 5>and just I always had a passion for wrestling, and
<v Speaker 5>I always knew I would get back.
<v Speaker 1>Into the business. It was always a goal of mine.
<v Speaker 5>That I have two daughters and they were a lot older,
<v Speaker 5>so they're thirteen and seventeen now. Because of the travel
<v Speaker 5>and everything, so that is cool.
<v Speaker 1>Timing wise, you got to be home for a lot
<v Speaker 1>of their like, you know.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that really is.
<v Speaker 5>Super important to me because I always thought about it.
<v Speaker 5>If I go back to wrestling, it's going to be
<v Speaker 5>what it is as far as travel goes. But I
<v Speaker 5>also have the you know, massive, a massive what's incentive
<v Speaker 5>because I work out of my house, so I see
<v Speaker 5>my kids like NonStop, and so it all bounces out.
<v Speaker 5>That's really long answer, but it was always something I
<v Speaker 5>wanted to do. When this opportunity came up, and it
<v Speaker 5>took me a minute to kind of get it. You know,
<v Speaker 5>business has changed since I've been around, but totally love
<v Speaker 5>it now.
<v Speaker 3>So that's now, let's talk about your earliest.
<v Speaker 1>You're like, that's great in ew. No, well, and we'll
<v Speaker 1>get to that too, But I want to talk about
<v Speaker 1>you as a kid growing up, Like, what were the
<v Speaker 1>things you were into, the toys you were liked, first
<v Speaker 1>impressions of wrestling, things like that.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah, so when my first toys were Star Wars nineteen
<v Speaker 5>seventy seven.
<v Speaker 3>I have the whole set. Now. Obviously I was too young.
<v Speaker 1>I grew up.
<v Speaker 4>I was born in eighty five, and I didn't recognize
<v Speaker 4>or realize what Star Wars was until like the re
<v Speaker 4>releases in the nineties. Yeah, Like now I'm like, well,
<v Speaker 4>I need to have those original ones because you know,
<v Speaker 4>even we just want to do a toy store today, and
<v Speaker 4>just looking at the whole set there, the old like
<v Speaker 4>the Millennium Falcon or the main Ewalk village. It it's
<v Speaker 4>so much cool stuff and I could understand how a
<v Speaker 4>kid from that time, we're just like their lives were
<v Speaker 4>taken over by this.
<v Speaker 1>I was mind blown. I was, you know, five or
<v Speaker 1>six years old.
<v Speaker 5>I remember Star Wars like was blowing up and the
<v Speaker 5>toys were all sold out and it's not.
<v Speaker 1>Like it is now where you can go. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>guess that's something of them. But they weren't like just
<v Speaker 1>all over the shelves. It was like a rat race
<v Speaker 1>kind of thing.
<v Speaker 5>It was a right but they had an end cap
<v Speaker 5>setup that I have a picture of that's just nuts,
<v Speaker 5>like from when they originally were sold in toy stores,
<v Speaker 5>like the original setups. But I remember my mom coming
<v Speaker 5>home one day from Kitty City, which.
<v Speaker 3>Was yeah yeah.
<v Speaker 5>Which was the toy store by my house, was just
<v Speaker 5>a big bag of every figure except for the Jahua
<v Speaker 5>because the Jahua was really hard to find initially, and
<v Speaker 5>I remember for Christmas, my cousin got me the jah
<v Speaker 5>Wa and dude, I ripped those things open. I played
<v Speaker 5>every scene you can imagine from from Star Wars and
<v Speaker 5>the guns and and then so like when Empire Strikes
<v Speaker 5>Back came back, I was.
<v Speaker 1>Huge in the like Hoth and all those place sets.
<v Speaker 3>That's what that was.
<v Speaker 4>That was there today, the toy store, all the cool
<v Speaker 4>hot place sets.
<v Speaker 1>Love.
<v Speaker 4>They didn't recreate that stuff for the power of the
<v Speaker 4>force when we were kids.
<v Speaker 1>You know, not the hot, not the yeah, well not eventually, no,
<v Speaker 1>is it I was just thinking, as you're going to
<v Speaker 1>do that, isn't it crazy that, like all the things
<v Speaker 1>have happened in your life that you're probably crazy epic
<v Speaker 1>stuff that you forgot, But these like impressions that toys
<v Speaker 1>made on you when you were a kid just stick.
<v Speaker 1>That's like something about our show that I think, like
<v Speaker 1>if you were a collector and you get it, you
<v Speaker 1>get it. And it's hard to explain to someone who doesn't.
<v Speaker 1>But if you know, you know, and there's like no
<v Speaker 1>need for the explanation because it's so totally deeply sentimental
<v Speaker 1>and impressionable. Because like these vivid details, that's crazy. I
<v Speaker 1>remember something five or six years years old.
<v Speaker 5>It was it was like it was yesterday, bag toys
<v Speaker 5>and you go from there. And then for like when
<v Speaker 5>I got into wrestling, and I got into wrestling through
<v Speaker 5>my my grandfather and when so I would go so
<v Speaker 5>my mom worked, so a lot of times he would like,
<v Speaker 5>babysit me, watch me whatever, and we would watch wrestling.
<v Speaker 5>And I remember watching I think it was NWA. They
<v Speaker 5>put a big red X across the screen. Did you
<v Speaker 5>ever see those back in the day, So when guys
<v Speaker 5>would get like color, they would red exit.
<v Speaker 1>On the Oh wow, okay, yeah, I didn't know that.
<v Speaker 1>It is like and you grew up in the Philly area,
<v Speaker 1>so I had all the TV, so I think it
<v Speaker 1>was NWA. I don't think it was WWP time, but
<v Speaker 1>that red X caught me. I was like, why is
<v Speaker 1>there a red X on the screen? And then all
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden you were like, what's behind the red X?
<v Speaker 1>And then that's how wrestling kind of started for me.
<v Speaker 1>And there was an angle I saw with like the Barbarian,
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy Valliant, the Warlord and Pistol Pez Wattley and they
<v Speaker 1>just and Paul Jones. They killed pistol Pez Wattley and
<v Speaker 1>all this.
<v Speaker 5>Like just beating him up and there's like blood everywhere,
<v Speaker 5>and I was like, this is awesome, and that was
<v Speaker 5>kind of my entry point. And then I start watching WWF.
<v Speaker 5>I was always watching NWA, HULLL Cogan and everything like
<v Speaker 5>that for a show at the Spectrum was in nineteen
<v Speaker 5>eighty six. It's funny because Tommy and I were just
<v Speaker 5>talking about it was what was your first show? And
<v Speaker 5>I still remember the whole lineup. He's like, that's a
<v Speaker 5>hell of a show, and I was like, looking back
<v Speaker 5>on it, you're like, dude, that it.
<v Speaker 3>Was actually when if you could find like the program
<v Speaker 3>or something to that.
<v Speaker 5>I found the prison broadcast like because I remember back well,
<v Speaker 5>you guys don't.
<v Speaker 3>Maybe don't know, yeah, but I'm aware.
<v Speaker 5>Yeah yeah, Like so day would air in Philadelphia and
<v Speaker 5>New York and Boston.
<v Speaker 1>The house show is the next day. Yea, So that
<v Speaker 1>was awesome.
<v Speaker 5>I always wanted to go, but if I couldn't go,
<v Speaker 5>I could always watch it. So now you can watch
<v Speaker 5>it again. So I pretty watched that show again. I
<v Speaker 5>wish I could see eleven. I went to and I
<v Speaker 5>was a kid, right, Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>I mean the best part of those for me was
<v Speaker 4>like you buy the program and had like the match
<v Speaker 4>lineups and those are st like iconic.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, my mom, you know, rest rest in peace.
<v Speaker 1>But she threw those out. Oh man, And I tell
<v Speaker 1>you man, I had. That was my thing.
<v Speaker 5>All I wanted was the lineup card because they were
<v Speaker 5>the coolest things like ever. And I have once from
<v Speaker 5>like later years, but I don't have like eighty six,
<v Speaker 5>eighty seven, eighty eight when it was on the NWA
<v Speaker 5>used to like type it on like a white piece
<v Speaker 5>of paper, like it was not like even the lines, No,
<v Speaker 5>it was just literally like a white sheet.
<v Speaker 1>But it was really cool. Did this wrestling Fantom of
<v Speaker 1>your LJ and guy did that to turn into that? Yeah?
<v Speaker 5>So pretty fast, Like so we're just getting w magazine.
<v Speaker 5>I still have like the first issue He'll Billy Jim
<v Speaker 5>on the cover and all that. I think he was
<v Speaker 5>the first cover.
<v Speaker 1>And inside were the figures and I was like, I
<v Speaker 1>need like all these like right away, and the same
<v Speaker 1>same kind of thing.
<v Speaker 5>I was going to Kitty City and they had they
<v Speaker 5>had a lot of like schnook.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, like people have these stories that. Yeah, yeah, they're
<v Speaker 1>peg warmers, right. It was tough to get it was
<v Speaker 1>characters for me. It was tough to get the iron cheek. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>I could get stud I could get Andre Hogan was
<v Speaker 5>definitely around, Schnooking wasn't around, but the iron cheek was
<v Speaker 5>really hard to find. And again my mom picked me up.
<v Speaker 5>I can't one day hands me a bag. There's the
<v Speaker 5>chic and you're just like yes with the boots. And
<v Speaker 5>I still have all these. I mean, they've all been
<v Speaker 5>played with.
<v Speaker 1>They they don't age well if they've if they've been loved,
<v Speaker 1>you know what I mean?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, but do.
<v Speaker 5>You guys like mind have like blood on them? Because
<v Speaker 5>I used to put markers on them a color.
<v Speaker 4>I would pick the Crayola, like the Craola marker and
<v Speaker 4>if you squeeze it on, it would like drip blood down.
<v Speaker 3>But it was washable marker.
<v Speaker 1>You never did that. Brian is something where he would
<v Speaker 1>bite them.
<v Speaker 4>He's like his childhood bite mark I was like a
<v Speaker 4>baby when these came out, you know, so like I
<v Speaker 4>still have all my childhood ones. Like Jim Kninhard's fingers
<v Speaker 4>are off because his fingers, you know, you can actually
<v Speaker 4>bite you on each fing because it was.
<v Speaker 3>Like a baby get to destroy.
<v Speaker 5>Yes, it was yeah, seriously right, yeah, so mine not
<v Speaker 5>And then if I didn't have a red marker that day,
<v Speaker 5>they were bleeding green.
<v Speaker 1>It was just you know, you know what. I really
<v Speaker 1>like those. So those figures are awesome. With the A W.
<v Speaker 5>A Remcos oh your Remco guy all time favorite wow
<v Speaker 5>because they could move and yeah, of course in the
<v Speaker 5>ring the A W.
<v Speaker 1>A ring was just so ridiculous. But yeah, so, and
<v Speaker 1>they have colors and I still have all those who
<v Speaker 1>did you have of those? I had? The first first
<v Speaker 1>guys I brought were road Warriors in the one pack
<v Speaker 1>and the other pack was it was Rick Martel and Backwinkle.
<v Speaker 1>I believe it's something with.
<v Speaker 3>Claire and Martel.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, it was Flair Martel.
<v Speaker 5>And then I had those two guys. I had Stephen Original,
<v Speaker 5>Steve Regal, Yeah, Jamie Garvin and Electric Electricity.
<v Speaker 4>That precious. I just bought that figure like mint in
<v Speaker 4>package maybe like two or three years ago. That precious,
<v Speaker 4>and like none of them have what's the like preserve
<v Speaker 4>even a brand new one is like melting, like the plastic.
<v Speaker 4>There's something in the plastic, like you can't find.
<v Speaker 3>A perfect one. It doesn't.
<v Speaker 4>I literally opened it up and it's like disintegrating because
<v Speaker 4>it was just they just took it from some other
<v Speaker 4>toy line.
<v Speaker 3>They didn't produce it themselves.
<v Speaker 1>That's crazy. But Remco is coming back, I know. I
<v Speaker 1>think Brian told me.
<v Speaker 3>You might have to start recollecting those.
<v Speaker 1>Well, I used to book matches and I don't think
<v Speaker 1>I would do that now.

<v Speaker 1>Did you click remcos into the end? Because that last
<v Speaker 1>set the single card ones are ridiculously.

<v Speaker 5>into wrestling, but it was we couldn't buy toys and
<v Speaker 5>stuff like that, so occasionally just kind of just like faded.
<v Speaker 5>I think my last wrestling purchase was I think I
<v Speaker 5>stole uh oh yeah, So remember the Rocky Ring the Rocky.
<v Speaker 4>Yes, well right, the Hogan is naked. You know he's
<v Speaker 4>in there, but he's like a naked Ever did you
<v Speaker 4>buy that or yeah?
<v Speaker 1>I might.
<v Speaker 4>The Hogan he's wearing like skin colored trucks.
<v Speaker 1>No, I he definitely didn't have any accessory.
<v Speaker 4>No, it's just like a skid color you ever see this?
<v Speaker 4>I got to pull it up later. Maybe the one
<v Speaker 4>I saw was No, they make that. They make like
<v Speaker 4>you know, Rocky clubber lang Uh and Lis, But this
<v Speaker 4>particular one has like it's like a molded trunks.

<v Speaker 1>I had to steal him. I don't have any money
<v Speaker 1>I needed him for I needed him for bookings.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you had a Remco fig fed. Yes, how did
<v Speaker 3>that go? Any memories of that?
<v Speaker 1>I just had a lot of fun with him.

<v Speaker 5>I used to tape record the matches because I would
<v Speaker 5>call them also, so you play by play.
<v Speaker 1>That was one of those things that I like, I
<v Speaker 1>think it like. It exploded my wrestling fandom because I
<v Speaker 1>had my own little wrestling fed that I felt in
<v Speaker 1>charge of and stuff. Right, Yeah, it's only bound by
<v Speaker 1>your creativity kind of thing. Yeah. Yeah.
<v Speaker 5>And I would try to book Loops and this was
<v Speaker 5>when I was really young Loops. Oh yeah, we'd have
<v Speaker 5>a one pm show.
<v Speaker 1>Ye what prey forward thinking, Well, it was in my bedroom.
<v Speaker 1>The other was in like my sister's bed was different arenas.
<v Speaker 1>I had a lot. Yeah, that's a weird thing that
<v Speaker 1>it was just me, But I didn't grasp like different
<v Speaker 1>towns until I actually became wrestling.
<v Speaker 3>I went to different towns.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's hard to be like they're live in Pittsburgh.
<v Speaker 1>It's hard for me to even like really as a kid,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't like, did you grasp that?
<v Speaker 4>Well? One time I remember was watching like Sunday Night
<v Speaker 4>Heat and it was like Big Boss Man versus Test
<v Speaker 4>and they did the same match like weeks prior to
<v Speaker 4>NASA call the same house.
<v Speaker 3>I'm like what, I'm like, it's the same match.
<v Speaker 5>I used to be blown away by that and now
<v Speaker 5>like because we didn't, I didn't know it then as
<v Speaker 5>much as I know it now, where it's like, yeah,
<v Speaker 5>the house shows were all the same matches and like
<v Speaker 5>NWA would run like they did that one it was
<v Speaker 5>Steamboat and Flare and like Maryland and they drove up
<v Speaker 5>the Philly and did it the same day, same like
<v Speaker 5>fifty five minute match.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I mean that's pretty nuts. But yeah, I am.
<v Speaker 1>What's really nuts is the people that know this and
<v Speaker 1>then follow the shows and keep cut like you know
<v Speaker 1>what I mean, Like whatever your red hat sign, guy,
<v Speaker 1>I'm seeing him for like three nights in all, I'm
<v Speaker 1>going dude, you've seen the same exact so I guess
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate the loyalty. And when I went to college is.
<v Speaker 5>When I start and that's when I start getting in
<v Speaker 5>the ec W and then I start going to the
<v Speaker 5>I went to school university at Hartford, so Hartford Civic Center,
<v Speaker 5>Springfield Civic Center, Boston Spots. Yeah, but that's when I
<v Speaker 5>kind of was like, what's going on here? You know,
<v Speaker 5>I R S versus Razor. Ramone has the same finish
<v Speaker 5>that it did last week.
<v Speaker 1>He goes, Razor goes over and he leaves and he
<v Speaker 1>gets called back or like what so so get into that,
<v Speaker 1>how did this fandom turn into we're all crazy for
<v Speaker 1>our fandom turns into that we want to get involved
<v Speaker 1>in this.
<v Speaker 5>You know, for me, it was I was pretty out
<v Speaker 5>of it. You know, I just stopped watching probably somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>In high school. I want to say, in at your
<v Speaker 1>age range that like early nineties wrestling is probably not I.
<v Speaker 4>Would I did watch it, but you're like Hazebro wrestling
<v Speaker 4>figures for you then there was no house.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but like I'm thinking, you're too old and that's
<v Speaker 1>probably like a thing to your sorry to your age
<v Speaker 1>and you know, what I mean, who who, Like I'm
<v Speaker 1>the obviously like as I got older, I got like
<v Speaker 1>ecw nttitude or I'm like, oh yeah, I was cool,
<v Speaker 1>kind of like natural person. It was a nice bridge
<v Speaker 1>for us to like from the cartoon wrestling. We kind
<v Speaker 1>of grew up onto that, but you definitely didn't have that.
<v Speaker 1>It was like it was a weird time.
<v Speaker 5>Like I would go to the Philadelphia Civic Center to
<v Speaker 5>watch WCW shows that had like two hundred people.
<v Speaker 1>It was that time in the business where I was like,
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, right, scandal down. Yeah, everything was just bad,
<v Speaker 1>and so I just kind of faded away.
<v Speaker 5>And then I went to college and like I maybe
<v Speaker 5>my junior year or something, I came home for Christmas
<v Speaker 5>break and I put on Philadelpha was scrolling through channels,
<v Speaker 5>and I see Eddie Gilbert and Terry Funk beating the
<v Speaker 5>shit out of each other with a chain. I'm like,
<v Speaker 5>what's this because Funk you know.
<v Speaker 1>Eighty nine or yeah.
<v Speaker 5>I was always a big Gilbert fan. So I'm watching
<v Speaker 5>us like this is awesome, and they're like, you know,
<v Speaker 5>I was it ultra class or something's coming to New Philadelphia.
<v Speaker 5>I'm like Philadelphia and I was like class ninety three something. Yeah,
<v Speaker 5>I did go to that, so it was maybe ninety
