00:00:03 Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. 00:00:36 Speaker 2: All Right, Rain draws, Doctor Ross. 00:00:38 Speaker 3: And I all right. 00:00:41 Speaker 4: Now pageing Doctor Dustin, Doctor Carlo, Doctor Chicago. 00:00:48 Speaker 3: Dustin. 00:00:48 Speaker 5: If you were a doctor, what type of doctor would you be? 00:00:54 Speaker 4: I'd be a OBG. I n and catch babies. That's what I would be. I bring life into the world that way I would. I'll make women feel really comfortable and just make that experience as pleasant for them as I could, and bring life into the world. 00:01:09 Speaker 6: I love that. 00:01:09 Speaker 2: That's a good answer. 00:01:11 Speaker 6: That's what I would be. 00:01:12 Speaker 2: Yeah, I would check cross state. 00:01:14 Speaker 4: Okay, Yeah, I mean, look what that lady says. I'm gonna do that anyway because that's how I am. So why not get paid for it? Do what they say? If you do what you love you don't spend the day feeling. 00:01:31 Speaker 5: I mean to look at that all day Dustin Monday, Monday through Friday, and sometimes on the weekend. 00:01:38 Speaker 7: We do it double Okay, do this with you on this fight Monday. 00:01:49 Speaker 6: I gotta check out. Okay. 00:01:52 Speaker 5: Yes, So, Ray Gobs Dusted are back to give y'all the recap on the season finale of Married to Mad did sin so that did? We have to get into this episode because to me, this was the rise and fall and rise of Toya Bush Harris, whose job is to plan the med Galla and she is doing it under stress and not in. 00:02:26 Speaker 2: The support of her friend. 00:02:30 Speaker 5: So when we see Toya talking to Eugene about it, not only did Eugene push. 00:02:37 Speaker 2: Back a little bit. 00:02:39 Speaker 5: I don't know if the reality gods Dustin are shutting down on you, but Eugene made another reaction this episode. 00:02:51 Speaker 3: That maybe think of you. 00:02:54 Speaker 4: I'm not gonna do it like that little girl said that they asked to do it for the vine. 00:02:58 Speaker 6: I ain't gonna do it, okay. However, why you went barbed for Dustin? 00:03:03 Speaker 4: Twitter loved it, okay, because I don't want this doctor. What if something happened to me in Eugene's hospital. You know what I'm saying, I'll be traveling and ship. I'll be in Georgia, I might be in Chamily. Where was he at? 00:03:16 Speaker 6: You never know? You know what I'm saying, I got. I need him to old national. 00:03:23 Speaker 4: I need him to take care of me with, you know, the same ethics that he would take care of everyone else with. 00:03:30 Speaker 6: So I can't keep imitating him. 00:03:32 Speaker 4: I can't keep doing it, Carlos, I can't keep doing it. 00:03:38 Speaker 3: I can't. 00:03:39 Speaker 4: But Eugene been mad as fuck. I don't know who put the pepper. Remember on Bad Girls Club? 00:03:44 Speaker 6: Who put the pepper in the juice? 00:03:46 Speaker 4: Yes, I don't know who put the pepper in Eugenie's juice? But he been going to fuck off. Did you see how he was pointing at Steve when Steve was trying to talk to him about them tickets? Carlos, Eugene was literally he was doing like Candy was back when she was arguing with Marlowe on what was that season fifteen? That was candy last season when they was at that that spot and she asked Marlowe about the about the what marlow had said about Candy not getting flowers for her nephew after her nephew passed, and Candy was like, that's how Eugene was doing to Steve. That finger point made me. You know, when a motherfucker point a finger at you, like up in here, you feel like you can feel that. 00:04:31 Speaker 6: It's a it's a it's a it's a feeling. 00:04:34 Speaker 4: And I had it when I watched Eugene put doing Steve like that, I was like, I don't like nobody doing me like that, And it looked like Steve didn't either, because Steve show was like, okay, very much was like Steve. 00:04:49 Speaker 6: Steve. Eugene was Tammy, and Steve was Royce. 00:04:55 Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, Steve having it, okay, going off in Designer and I know that's the fuck, right, Steve. 00:05:04 Speaker 6: So I thought that was interesting. 00:05:06 Speaker 3: Lows, why do you think? Okay? 00:05:09 Speaker 5: So what we did see in this episode alone, not a lot happened in this finale except the med gala, which was of course, the sort of like cummination to what they've been building up this whole season. So Toya obviously is giving this assignment through doctor Jackie. The cast members donated twenty five hundred dollars each. 00:05:33 Speaker 2: That was their contribution to it. 00:05:36 Speaker 5: The tickets were one hundred and fifty dollars, and then in order to buy the tickets, the tickets had another cent price. Contesta as she was talking to Scott. First of all, Contesta, I love you now, and you know I love you, Contessa, Contessa, we gotta figure out a new stylist. 00:05:58 Speaker 6: The wardrobe situation. 00:06:01 Speaker 5: Even the idea of wearing the cranberry dress with the mini holes in it. And I love holes more than anybody, not those type of holes on that top of dress. 00:06:10 Speaker 2: Your body is amazing, doctor Contessa. You are way too. 00:06:14 Speaker 6: Gorgeous, way too gorgeous, my. 00:06:16 Speaker 5: Beautiful sister to not have. Where is no I g Jeremy mm hmm when you need him? 00:06:24 Speaker 4: Ryan Hawkins, Paris shay Be, Jason Bolden Wayman, and Micah J. 00:06:31 Speaker 3: Boling. 00:06:31 Speaker 4: Yeah, Dallas the stylist. There's there's a lot of options available. There's a lot of options available that Kintessa can afford. Kntessa is a brilliant black doctor. She's done great work. She was studying and trying to be she was pursuing us, remember it ruthe shit. Remember when she was trying to pursue when she wanted to be the surgeon General. Like Contessa's had really big dreams and accomplished a lot military served us thank her for thanking her for her service. 00:07:00 Speaker 6: But she can't dress. 00:07:02 Speaker 4: She makes the It's like if the options are laid out, she's like, I want the worst one. 00:07:06 Speaker 6: That's what it looks like every single time. 00:07:09 Speaker 4: Like a prime example, you saw that dress that she had that she tried on and was gonna wear initially with the cutouts, right, it looked crazy. 00:07:16 Speaker 6: It was a color that was unnecessary. 00:07:19 Speaker 4: Think about that, and think about that black dress that Porscha just had on in her Instagram with those hip cutouts that when she was rolling them. 00:07:27 Speaker 6: You see. 00:07:28 Speaker 4: So cutouts can be done tastefully and look totally different. 00:07:32 Speaker 6: And Contessa got the money. 00:07:34 Speaker 4: I don't understand her attachment to bad fashion, and I really think she deserves better because she's such. 00:07:41 Speaker 6: A beautiful woman and she's got the body for it. 00:07:43 Speaker 4: The clothes were literally she's built. She's got a model's body, you know what I'm saying. So she gotta do something. 00:07:51 Speaker 6: Baby. 00:07:51 Speaker 4: Her aunt Scott Scott ain't exempt either. Shit, her aunt Scott Motorcy. 00:08:00 Speaker 7: Yeah even about boy, you don't love you too, But that jacket. 00:08:11 Speaker 6: It was not right. He didn't even look happy in it. First, let's talk about it. 00:08:15 Speaker 4: The med Galler looked like a kid's birthday party. First of all, you got face painting, people painting on canvases, dancers like at all the white walls. There was no piping, drape, and nothing about the event felt formal or like a galla. You know what I'm saying. It literally looked like a children's party. And once I saw Toya had her face painted, I was like, Okay, well who turns you know who turned six? You know what I'm saying, Like, who where's the toddler? Where's the toddler? That's all I could think when I saw the med Galler. But what was beautiful was. 00:08:51 Speaker 2: Seeing us in verrible art. 00:08:54 Speaker 6: It was where is the art? 00:08:55 Speaker 4: That's what it was, because for it to be wearable art, you would have thought this, Toya, so you think? You know, blood red velvet curtains draping all the walls, big huge picture frames that looked like the one Beyonce performed in on the Grammys. Remember when she did Dangerously and Love Inside the picture frame? Set that up and have the chairs for all the med Gala founders sitting in there, their husbands and wire sitting in there, and then have big picture frames for people to take pictures in it, like you know, to turn it up. These are medical professionals in Atlanta, and I actually I thought it was so wonderful that they awarded those five thousand dollars scholarships to the two women. That was beautiful, and honestly, it should be more. It should be more. With the salaries that these people are receiving on this show and off the show as physicians, it should have been more money than that, and especially with connections to entertainment and with people who have budgets allocated for shit like that. 00:09:52 Speaker 6: To me, those awards should be larger. 00:09:54 Speaker 4: So I know I would like to donate if I could, and I'm sure they'll make that available in some way, but. 00:09:59 Speaker 6: Like ward should be larger. 00:10:01 Speaker 4: Two five thousand dollars awards amongst that pool of professionals. I think that could grow a little bit. I think it's a great effort and beautiful and will definitely ten dollars will help somebody, ten dollars will help me, okay, But I just think that why not make a bigger impact, a bigger dent financially, so I would like to see the scholarship amounts raised moving forward. And I watched Toya and doctor Simone and watch What Happens Live and Andy actually. 00:10:29 Speaker 6: Said next year. 00:10:30 Speaker 4: He said, you know, next year, please hit me when y'all are like, you know, raising the money. I want to donate. This is a great thing that y'all are doing. And I was like, that's exactly what I was thinking. Than so much to donate part, but like more people with money should give them money to give to those students so they can award more people bigger amounts. 00:10:47 Speaker 6: That's what I think, and. 00:10:49 Speaker 2: Listen, I agree with you more. 00:10:50 Speaker 5: The beauty of Maritime medicine is, Look, they know how to give us the mess and they do a great job at it. And that's why we have Simone, Toya, and Jackie. Who are the ogs that's been I want to say, if I'm not mistaken, maybe besides Kyle Richards, they are the longest running reality stars that's been on a show since season. 00:11:16 Speaker 4: One consistently, THEA, Toya, Jackie, Simone, Quad. 00:11:24 Speaker 3: And Qua I'm sung down here quhy. 00:11:28 Speaker 6: Yeah, because Heavenly came in season two. So you're right, yeah, you have four ogs for. 00:11:34 Speaker 5: Is insane. And the reason why it works is because, yes, to give us the mess, but they also give us the medicine, and they do in a way that is philanthropic. Yeah, to give money to these students. Again, I thought it was amazing and it goes to show you that they know how to do. 00:11:54 Speaker 2: Something well rounded because they know the intention is there. 00:11:58 Speaker 5: Now, look, with that being said, petty is also the name of the game. So doctor Steve and Mimi arrived, Doc gratics, did I say doctor Steve? 00:12:13 Speaker 6: Yeah, but they married. He's a. 00:12:19 Speaker 2: Steph. 00:12:19 Speaker 3: Clearly I think about you day and I I call you doctor. I'm told to hey me me. So the thing. 00:12:30 Speaker 6: Uh huh. 00:12:32 Speaker 2: Hubbahaba. 00:12:33 Speaker 3: All right. 00:12:34 Speaker 5: Anyways, back to my point, So Steve and doctor Babe arrived. Is Steve's defense, he did say Jamaica that he and his wife would not be participating, that they would not be participating, but they'll show supporting other ways. 00:12:53 Speaker 2: They show up and if the words. 00:12:57 Speaker 5: Of Kim Zosiak season one, episode one of the Real House to where they walked into Chara's. 00:13:04 Speaker 2: House, my name's on the list, n nieces. 00:13:10 Speaker 5: Right, So they show him the lady gave very much. You're not on the list. I'm sure the mice just they said, now you never part of the cast. 00:13:21 Speaker 6: You see all these cameras, right, you see this rig You know that. You know what I'm saying. 00:13:26 Speaker 4: You know what's going on here, which is why Stevenham had an attitude because they definitely walked in that party like and I would have to after having that experience at the door. And then they tried to play him like they being cheap excuse me, just like he told Eugene it just like Steve told Eugene last year, we bought a five thousand dollars ball man just to support y'all know he ain't no no cheap shit. And Eugene did what people do when they are in complete defense mode, right, just being defensive year. You know what I'm saying. He did all of that, you know what I'm saying. And then he started pointing, and I was just like, damn, I'm telling you, Carlos, I don't know if the tailor cut another inch out of that waist, you know what I'm saying, or what, and just pulled Eugene just a little bit tighter, you know what I'm saying. And god, im just wound up, man, He's wound up. Eugene been acting like he is wearing something restrictive. Of course it underneath them essentials T shirts, very T shirts. And I don't mean in a way that he's wearing. I mean he's wearing something that makes him uncomfortable. 00:14:32 Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, I'm uncomfortable is the weight of Toya bush hair. 00:14:37 Speaker 4: Is maybe Toya I'm gonna start calling her Toya burning busch hairs because it'd be going down when Toya come in the room. And we love it because it makes for great television, right, but Toya is and also lows. Let's give props to Toya. It's the season finale. We can give props where they do. Let's give props to Toya because she on watch What Happens Live. They were playing a game where she had a chance to like defend inflammatory things that she had done and said in the past, and they asked her if she had. 00:15:07 Speaker 6: Of course, she had a defense for everything, and asked. 00:15:10 Speaker 4: Her when they asked her to defend cussing Eugene out immediately, without thought, without a pause or a beat, she said, there's no defense. He's the love of my life. I love my husband. I'm so sorry for what I said. 00:15:23 Speaker 6: I was wrong. 00:15:23 Speaker 4: I have nothing to say immediately, and I was like, thank you, Toya, thank you. 00:15:29 Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. Thank you. 00:15:32 Speaker 4: So that was good to see because the world needed to hear that, and I know Eugene needed to hear that, so it was good for him to have heard that. 00:15:41 Speaker 5: No, that was that was I'm glad she did that because even in our interview, I could tell she felt bad. 00:15:48 Speaker 2: So I love the fact that since then she really is. 00:15:50 Speaker 6: Which interview, y'all got a new one? 00:15:53 Speaker 2: Dust not too much of my girl? 00:15:55 Speaker 6: I'm asking y'all got a third interview watched? 00:15:59 Speaker 4: I say, yeah, yeah, Which it must be the the it must be the master cut. Don't do it that direct cut, the producer's cut. 00:16:10 Speaker 6: That's what I want. 00:16:12 Speaker 4: It was because the Toya I've seen in that brown leather trench, I don't give a fuck about nothing. 00:16:20 Speaker 5: No, she's soul Jawn in the interview that look, I was raised a certain way, and unfortunately I behave in a certain way that I was raised. 00:16:30 Speaker 3: Because I fell silent. But she also said, but this is my husband. 00:16:34 Speaker 2: I do love him. 00:16:36 Speaker 6: I watched it too. Okay, I watched it too. 00:16:40 Speaker 3: You did, and you didn't get that from it? 00:16:43 Speaker 2: Okay, what you get from it? 00:16:45 Speaker 6: She don't give a fuck, you know that, Toy, Toy, don't care. 00:16:49 Speaker 4: Toya knows that that is what people expect from her, and that's a license for her to have freedom of expression. 00:16:56 Speaker 6: I put it like that. 00:16:57 Speaker 4: Toya recognized her, recognizes her her license, her inherent license through past, uh public behavior and expression for freedom of expression. 00:17:08 Speaker 6: That's what she has. And so she figured ship. 00:17:10 Speaker 4: I've been at showing my ass ince season one, episode one, don't act brand new now, y'all know once again she turned into Jermaine Duprix. 00:17:18 Speaker 6: Y'all know what this is. That's what I got from Toya in that interview. 00:17:22 Speaker 3: So is that Dupriez? 00:17:26 Speaker 6: You know how he said that at the beginning of themselves. Y'all know what this is. 00:17:35 Speaker 1: This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show, and we love we. 00:17:43 Speaker 2: Funck with Toya. 00:17:46 Speaker 4: Just call it what it is because we love that she does it. But just call it what it is while you're doing it. 00:17:51 Speaker 5: You know how DuMaine dupre Interest his song most Mike Will made it. 00:17:59 Speaker 6: Mike Wi a Mike Bus. You know it. Okay, Okay, if you're Metro, don't trust you. 00:18:07 Speaker 4: He's gonna shoot you. Okay, that's that. That's the producer tag. Okay, like Musica that Harry Fraud or that, that's that producer tag. 00:18:16 Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. Oh and Toya. 00:18:20 Speaker 3: Lovers, please be young Pete. That ship dust that's. 00:18:27 Speaker 4: Also fuck it. This is I told you just the season finale, were just gonna say what we want to say. Toya would be a great crossover for Bell Collective, Toyo Bus, Harrison, Bell Collective. You tell me you don't see it? Producer, executive producer, created. 00:18:43 Speaker 2: There's a cast member on Love and Marriage Huntsville. I'm sure you know which what it is. 00:18:51 Speaker 3: Feels like she. 00:18:56 Speaker 2: Can relate to Toya in some ways. 00:18:59 Speaker 6: Mm hm hmmm hmm. 00:19:02 Speaker 2: I'm listening. 00:19:03 Speaker 6: I don't have anything to say. I don't have anything to say. 00:19:09 Speaker 4: I just all I want to say is because see I'm not doing that that baby, I'm not doing it. 00:19:14 Speaker 6: Mm hmm. But what I will say. 00:19:20 Speaker 4: In the back in the back, so I but I think that Toya, her personality traits and her strengths I think will work well in the Bell Collective mix. 00:19:31 Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. So maybe we need a Bell Collective at L. 00:19:35 Speaker 2: Listen, listen. 00:19:36 Speaker 4: Since Birmingham is about to bust through them doors. You know what I'm saying, Maybe we need an at L I hate or Los Angeles. That would be cute. 00:19:48 Speaker 2: I'm I'm all for it. 00:19:50 Speaker 5: I'll be blessed to have a Toya buch Hairs type of person because that. 00:19:54 Speaker 2: Woman's great television and attitude. 00:19:57 Speaker 5: Bell Collective Birmingham starring Stormy still has happened a little tea for my Patreon and Dustin. 00:20:05 Speaker 2: Yo, Dustin, I'll watched episode six. 00:20:10 Speaker 6: I'm listening to you. 00:20:11 Speaker 2: Look six. 00:20:17 Speaker 3: A storm is grew with us all. I will say. 00:20:21 Speaker 5: A literal, Dustin, it was a tornado to the point I said, I watched it last night after Michael be Jordan won the oscarpened Michael Jordan's Ryan Coogler and centers. Yeah, bro, y'all get ready for Bell Collective barmacaun. We may have an announcement I think next week about the air date. 00:20:47 Speaker 3: But the good news. 00:20:48 Speaker 2: Is the air and date were. 00:20:52 Speaker 6: Please aries wonderful. Here's one right here, so wonderful. 00:20:58 Speaker 4: Yes, that's all Patreon, that's for y'all. 00:21:04 Speaker 3: Don't be clipping this ship. 00:21:06 Speaker 4: Yeah, don't otherwise we ain't telling you ship else now exactly. 00:21:10 Speaker 6: Since we're talking. 00:21:12 Speaker 4: I just have one other question. You can answer, you can, you can't, you can't, whatever. But you did just say that you watched episode six last night, so to me, and that A Storm is brilliant. So to me, that sounds like it's not the end of the season. So we're gonna get more than six episodes in this first season order, right, Okay, see, yes, that's all because you know we want as much of it as we can get, so wonder. 00:21:38 Speaker 6: Yeah, Hey, it's fine. 00:21:41 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and listen, listen. 00:21:44 Speaker 5: I'll say this much and Patreon members only, and y'all know me. 00:21:51 Speaker 2: I don't know, but hype ship I don't like talking about ship watch. 00:21:54 Speaker 5: I think what I will say is Bell Collected Birmingham is special and it is the best compliment I can give it is it's vastly different than Jackson. 00:22:06 Speaker 2: And what I mean by that because Jackson Baby is that girl. 00:22:11 Speaker 5: But anybody who knows a franchise like a Real Housewives, Old love and hip hop, you want each city to feel special, not a carbon copy. 00:22:21 Speaker 2: What I can say is Birmingham. 00:22:24 Speaker 5: Is nothing like Accent, and Birmingham has its own flavor, its own look. It's on personality and activated like the Jerry Curl is strong. 00:22:42 Speaker 6: It's mm hmmm. 00:22:45 Speaker 5: Airy season all right now, exclusive, What did you think about, speaking of Toya? What the treacherous of Toya Hey Mariyah to interfere with Steve and Eugene's conversation, because baby Toya got up and did the move that you said, Eugene with the finger and was pretty much letting Steve have it. 00:23:17 Speaker 4: She absolutely inserted herself in a way that if someone else's husband did to her, the first thing she would do is start calling them sassy and stay out of women's business and all that shit. 00:23:27 Speaker 6: And she inserted herself in there. 00:23:29 Speaker 4: I thought Stevie had a good job identifying the insertion and saying, yo, I don't really go back and forth with women. 00:23:34 Speaker 6: I'm gonna keep talking to your husband. 00:23:36 Speaker 4: He wasn't being combative with her, I didn't think, but that's what happens. And honestly, men and women should be able to have conversations about things that I may be a little bit more accelerated, you know what I'm saying, without disrespecting or making the man making the woman feel unsafe in any way. We should be able to have talks like that, and as a man, you should be able to contain your emotions in a way where a woman don't feel unsafe talking to you. And even though Steve was visibly frustrated, naturally, I don't think that he was combative in that way Toatoya, you know what I'm saying. And I appreciated that, but I definitely thought that him and Eugene were combative towards each other, more so Eugene than Steve. But Steve definitely met Eugene's fire with fire for sure. And as we saw in the reunion trailer, it's gonna happen some more on that reunion stage. 00:24:31 Speaker 6: And I love. 00:24:33 Speaker 4: Eugene Bush, okay. And they was arguing before they even got dressed to come out for them their their segment, So that was real. That means that they were sitting in the back, you know how these things go, Carlos. 00:24:44 Speaker 6: They were sitting in the back in the green room period. 00:24:47 Speaker 4: You know, talking shit as they watch on the monitor and whatever they saw incited a lively discussion like that between the two of them, to the point where they started kind of losing it on each other and were upset. Did you see you Eugene's Eugene's face this entire season has been betraying him every single time, because, as you can see once they make it to the stage, Eugene, you know, he's doing all that stuff. You know what I'm saying, He's doing all that stuff. And usually the men on Married to Medicine have done a great job establishing a camaraderie amongst each other and having a pact to not get involved in the personal, you know, disagreements of the women. I don't know where this expectation of you better get your wife came from, but that's new this season. There was never a you better get your wife narrative or conversation before. It was always let the ladies handle that. We chilling over here smoking cigars and meeting up in barber shops and doing all the other stereotypical male shit that they make the guys doing Married to Medicine, right, And so I don't understand why people are saying, well, why is everybody mad at Eugene when Dan and Defense Heavenly all the time. 00:26:01 Speaker 6: No, you don't. 00:26:02 Speaker 4: Doctor Damon stays out of it, out of it. He stays out of it. And when people ask him about it, to try to entice him and gold him into a back and forth argument, his argument each time is I'm staying out of it and we're gonna respect each other. Let them handle it. Me and you will respect each other, and I'm going to stay out of it. And it's a repetitive message. He's always on message with that, So I don't. To me, it's a false equivalency because Eugene has formed an opinion about what was going on in a personal conflict between Toya and Heavenly. And so after years of people like doctor Heavenly saying negative shit about Eugene in an attempt to get at Toya, and in doing so, they're just repeating negative shit that Toya has already said herself about Eugene, but it's nonetheless a dig at him. I think that kind of created his perspective of, well, now I have an opinion. You know what I'm saying. I heard you was looking for me, bitch here I go. I think that's what Eugene's on you know what I'm saying. 00:27:05 Speaker 5: So not Eugene Dollsen do for real? 00:27:10 Speaker 4: So like I think that switch shout out to cast Out happy but later birthday. Cast Out is one of my favorite musicians, favorite artists, favorite actresses. 00:27:18 Speaker 6: I love cast Out. 00:27:19 Speaker 4: So shout out to cast Out, the one and only KD No Troy five. 00:27:24 Speaker 6: But and I've been around since day one. 00:27:27 Speaker 4: Okay, I mean I've been around since all of it, the original. I love her, and yes, she do love me. I love her that we love each other. Okay, So shout out to cast Out. But Eugene, I think that he just that's what made him have decide to start expressing his opinion, which I'm sure he's always had. That's his goddamn wife. And anybody on that show whose wife is involved in conflict, if you love your wife and fuck with your wife like that, naturally you gonna have an opinion. But the the the consensus of the men amongst the husbands is to not involve themselves in the personal conflicts. 00:28:04 Speaker 6: Eugene betrayed that this season, and it feels I'm too. 00:28:07 Speaker 4: He looks crazy, making them faces and talking like Nicki Minaja sh doing all of that like it just seems out of place, don't you think? 00:28:18 Speaker 3: No, actually, I don't you think I give a fuck? 00:28:28 Speaker 2: I do? 00:28:29 Speaker 6: Okay, cuts it down. 00:28:34 Speaker 2: You know, you obviously raise a good point in this. I don't know, and you I got this all wrong. I don't know when it was wrong for a man and a woman to have a conversation. I actually I do know. 00:28:55 Speaker 5: I think Niini Leaks has put white refrigerators out of business, But Nini Leek's has also put men stepping in women's business out of business too. Because the moment Nini Leaks told Peter you are Patricia Women's business. I feel like that one moment made the world think that a man cannot have a conversation about what he sees if the woman's present or not, or as the woman's husband, excuse me, as president or not. I grew up with my father and my mom and their friends who were couples. 00:29:32 Speaker 2: Having a discourse. 00:29:34 Speaker 6: Grew I didn't. 00:29:35 Speaker 5: I never I never was around my my siblings and their their significant others and everybody where it was a cohesive debate. 00:29:45 Speaker 2: And I agree with you in the sense of I think. 00:29:49 Speaker 5: Look, the men, for sure have always made a pact of Mariti Medicine and I and listen, we could break the fourth ball. I think they said, that's our wive shit. It is their job that's paid on the show. 00:30:02 Speaker 3: Let them do it. 00:30:03 Speaker 5: It's TV shit, and not saying it's fake, but more so like this is what they do. Let's we're not We're not getting the guys don't get paid. Yeah, and secondly, I don't feel like they want to even ruin their reputation in the in the workforce. I do think this season is different for Eugene because I think unfortunately, and this is where. 00:30:29 Speaker 2: We all got to be honest. Of all the men on. 00:30:32 Speaker 5: The showm Eugene has been the most adveserted by the women. Yeah. 00:30:37 Speaker 4: The most disrespected husband on Married to Medicine is Eugenie had disrespected women in America as a black one. The most disrespected husband on Married to Medicine is Eugene has I agree, I agree, right, but they be trying to fuck with doctors and well as a whole. 00:30:55 Speaker 3: As a whole. 00:30:57 Speaker 5: And I love you Tooya down booth, but it's because Toya dead things for them call him his man Ugina, talking about his penis and making reference to his mannerisms. 00:31:16 Speaker 2: I think Eugene is fed. 00:31:20 Speaker 5: Up on top of this, on top of dealing with the tax issues they've had, on top of dealing with you know what, he has to come home to with his wife. I think this season he is I think he's I think I think I think. 00:31:35 Speaker 3: He's fed up. 00:31:36 Speaker 5: I think he is up to hear twelve I think twelve years and he's. 00:31:40 Speaker 4: Just like twelve years of slave. He has had it. Lupida to the bullshit. Okay, he is Lupeida and young to the bullshit for real, you know what I'm saying. 00:31:52 Speaker 2: That's it. I'm trying to be serious. 00:31:55 Speaker 6: That's what twelve years of slave, baby, that's what it is. Man. He's indentured. 00:32:00 Speaker 4: He is literally he's tired, he's exhausted, and he has had it, and he's starting to speak out. 00:32:06 Speaker 6: Man, That's what that is. 00:32:07 Speaker 4: I just hope that he aims it in the right direction, because people like Steve ain't trying to hear that shit, you know what I'm saying. So I hope he aims it in the right direction. Curtis and them, Cecil, who has been on the correct side of everything this season, might have add except for the household shit that they have going on with the kids, but whatever, that's their business. Again on Watch What Happens Live, doctor Simone said people should spoil their kids, and yes, her kids are spoiled, and yes she's complaining about it, she said, but that's just what we do. She was like, you only got one life to live, you should spoil your kids. 00:32:45 Speaker 6: So I. 00:32:47 Speaker 4: Said that this Sunday on Watch What Happens Live, So she's willfully Yeah, she said it. She said that her oldest son, Miles is a perfect child, and she said that Michael is the opposite of perfect. But we all know that's her favorite because we see them literally hanging out, going shopping, clinking glasses, doing what they do. They are homies, okay, and we saw it in this week's episode at Milsey. I'm so glad we got over there. Give you some sugar girl does her go away like she look it personally. I make no mistake. I told you all a long time ago on here my kids doing right. If I'm blessed to have children to be a father, my kids doing what they need to do in school and being respectful to me, spoiled, rotting with Noah fucks giving you know what I'm saying, because I'm gonna do my part as a parent to make sure that they have integrity and they have they're responsible, But they gonna have closed shoes, cars, all that shit, access to education, everything. I think that that is I don't know, It's just something I would want to do for mine. But that being said, I don't feel no kind of sorry for someone all that hollering and screaming. She said, that's just what they do. She's going to spoil her kids. And proof of that is Michael's new tesla. 00:33:56 Speaker 3: Oh it was, and it's funny. 00:33:59 Speaker 5: I got a whole Patreon of this episode right about rich parents when it comes to titled kids. And while I do think there's a an epidemic going on with it, you know, and. 00:34:13 Speaker 2: In a conversation, I should be had a monk's parents. 00:34:15 Speaker 5: I'm not one, like you said you are one yet either, but I do believe that as much as Simon is fed up, what I saw. 00:34:26 Speaker 2: In this scene was. 00:34:29 Speaker 5: She's not going to change her system. 00:34:33 Speaker 2: And that's why you have three men, her. 00:34:36 Speaker 5: Husband, Cecil and her two boys look at her like you screaming wolf tickets, like it's this is our dynamic. And you can say if you until, but Kyle's go home or whatever, but. 00:34:53 Speaker 2: You're going to, like you said, does it buy me a tesla anyway? And that's that's just how it is. 00:34:59 Speaker 5: And I, hey, look, I will say this, I absolutely adore Michael and Simon's relationships. I think I think if anybody is blessed to have the mom still alive, have that fun So the dynamic for sure, what I But but with that being said. 00:35:19 Speaker 2: When I also got from a two dusted, unfortunately, I got to be honest. 00:35:25 Speaker 4: Uh huh, Michael's gonna be a problem, and and and and yes because. 00:35:34 Speaker 5: Because and you tell me if you got it differently with with your black mama. Right when my mom was alive, I was the quintessential mama's boy. And my mom did everything for all of her kids, but especially her boys, right, and my sisters will attest to that. But I also knew I have to figure this ship out without you. Well, I'm going to forever be emboldened and indebted to you. And and I think with Michael, I think Michael knows that his mother is his safety blanket. And my fear for micro micro Michael growing up in this world because it's let's call him. 00:36:24 Speaker 6: Mac so micro. 00:36:36 Speaker 5: I My only concern is I don't want someone to spoil him so much to where he enters this world thinking everything should. 00:36:48 Speaker 2: Be handed to him or I'm not going to. 00:36:52 Speaker 3: Do this. 00:36:53 Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I am going to do that because I know at the end of the day, my mom's gonna build me out. 00:36:57 Speaker 6: That's agree. 00:37:00 Speaker 4: Who wants a fucking child that thinks like that or that is ill prepared to other the storms of adulthood and life in general, you know. So that's again to me, that's that falls on the that falls under the responsibility of the parent. To me, Like, you know, especially if you're a rich parent, first generation rich, right, you have a responsibility because your kid is gonna not have the lessons learned through material struggles, you know what I'm saying. So you have to find another way to instill that sort of those values and principles and to have a principal child like you have to make an effort to do that as well as them being able to enjoy the fruits of your labor. 00:37:46 Speaker 6: You know, to me, that's just your job as a parent. 00:37:48 Speaker 4: It's just like how you have all these kids growing up who don't understand the importance of history and historical facts, Well that's because nobody set them down. In total, my grandmother rest her soul, sat me down and told me about growing up in rural Arkansas and the things that were happening that my grandfather dressed his soul and my grandfather is still living. Both of them told me stories about growing up in the Deep South and Mendon, Louisiana, and the rise in Arkansas, Little Rock Arkansas, you know, Pine buff Arkansas. These stories of what it really was like, and talk to me about historical events and taught me about black history in this country. 00:38:27 Speaker 6: So I understand it. 00:38:29 Speaker 4: If I have children, it's my job to pass that same knowledge down to them so that no matter what books are banned or whatever the fuck is going on in its madness, we are moving forward these important things. And so that illustration, to me, should paint the picture for our viewers that even though these are rich kids that are growing up spoiled. And while I think that's great, there is still a need there for education and for your kid to understand value the value of money, the value of hard work, ethics, and integrity. So that's all You just got to do your job. You want to spoil your kids supplement that with the other shit. 00:39:09 Speaker 5: And that was my only thing in terms of what I saw at the kitchen table scene, because. 00:39:15 Speaker 6: What's the oldest son's names, yeap. 00:39:19 Speaker 5: Miles seems like the most sweetest kid who just I'm gonna do right and I don't want to bother nobody. 00:39:28 Speaker 2: Don't bother me. 00:39:29 Speaker 5: He just seems It's funny that she said he's like the perfect kid, because his entire disposition seems like I. 00:39:36 Speaker 2: Want no problems. Yeah, Like I go to school, I do what I gotta do. 00:39:40 Speaker 5: I' my my business. I appreciate everything you do for me. I just want to go home be luck alone. 00:39:45 Speaker 4: Michael is asking for assistance to pay for law school, and to be fair in that scene, he did just say, Mama, I'm not trying to live off y'all. I'm trying to like be able to take care of y'all, buy y'all stuff, make the money in y'all whatever. 00:39:57 Speaker 6: But I thought that I believe I believe that. 00:40:02 Speaker 8: What's about to say, Carlos the way it's broad in the running around here with Brazilian blowouts and good diving in with silk presses, the way them dogs moving around your chateau. 00:40:13 Speaker 4: I don't even want to hear your dogs. Look, look with a goddamn bow tie on the least right now, Carlos, stop playing. I know you got all kind of Louis Vatan and mcm dog leashes you about. 00:40:26 Speaker 6: Do you hear the part of one yet? 00:40:27 Speaker 4: If not, but I know you do all that. Them dogs have all of that, and I don't want to hear it. So your baby, Carlos King Junior, Carlisa, Okay, depending on what you have, Carlos, that baby would be Come on, ain't no way in hell, Carlos. Your baby gonna be spoiled, rotting. Okay, and you know it, Carlos, so you know it, you know it well. 00:40:52 Speaker 5: I did say that if God ever blessed with a daughter, I would want her to be like Candas Diller. 00:40:58 Speaker 4: Spoiled, thank you very much, thank you, into the spoiled yet educated okay, smart as him her mouth and because you can't say Candas is lazy, she works her ass off. 00:41:11 Speaker 6: I don't see the problem. 00:41:13 Speaker 4: I don't see the problem, and neither do you. Look in the baby section, okay, because you already know Carlos. 00:41:21 Speaker 6: You already know Nigga. 00:41:24 Speaker 5: Ray drops let me know, doesn't clock in the comments as he says, not not not, Clarissa Shill, Crissa King. 00:41:32 Speaker 6: Okay about that. 00:41:33 Speaker 3: There we go. 00:41:34 Speaker 5: Let's let's see if she would be like Canadas and Michael spoiled Ryan what. But as we see with Candas like doesn't says she works hard, She works her butt off, and she she's very very smart, and. 00:41:49 Speaker 2: She knows how to defend herself. 00:41:52 Speaker 4: I love Candas, I always have. There's certain things about Candis that I did love. While she was on Potomac. I was critical of some of her behavior. But what we're not gonna argue about was whether or not Candace was smart, whether or not she showed this country and the viewers of that show all over the world where black generational wealth looks like what. We're not gonna pretend like when she was saying things to her other castmates that think night I've liked, We're not gonna pretend like it was inarticulate. We're not gonna pretend like she minced words or use a lot of words salad. Candace made her points, and she made direct points. She named names, and you have to respect that. And after seeing her own Traders, I love her. 00:42:32 Speaker 6: I do. I don't care. I love Candace, I do. 00:42:36 Speaker 3: Today. 00:42:37 Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, good, I'm gonna watch that. I'm gonna watch that. 00:42:40 Speaker 2: Yeah, it was she she she. 00:42:44 Speaker 6: She does well. 00:42:45 Speaker 4: He doesn't wrong interviews, Yeah, she does well in press interviews. She understands the art of a conversation. That's why her with my friend Michael Arsenal is the ship. Shout out to my boy Mark loved him. That's my boy for years. Shout out to Michael Arsenal. But that's why her podcast with him is great, shender. She and him both understand the science of having a good conversation. So and that's a strength in the Housewives and Traders Gamer universe. Like your word playing, your knowledge as a wordsmith, it's a skill. 00:43:16 Speaker 6: It's a skill. 00:43:17 Speaker 2: So I love She's She's amazing. 00:43:21 Speaker 5: Like you said, all about the conversation communication, which leads me to my final thought, what did you think about Curtis's apology to King and Quad. 00:43:35 Speaker 4: Yeah, I was glad that he offered it. I was glad that he offered it. And sometimes when it comes to apologies, you know what I mean, And people making atonement for certain things. You as a person on the other end of the apology, depending on how much you care about the outcome of the relationship, you have a responsibility if you're giving a fair and sufficient apology, to accept it. 00:43:58 Speaker 6: Because it's not easy for people to do that. 00:44:01 Speaker 4: I think the difference in this case is that Curtis is still full of ship. 00:44:05 Speaker 6: He didn't mean that. 00:44:06 Speaker 4: I appreciate him giving the apology. Carlos, you know what I'm saying, But he didn't mean that ship. He wrapped his arms around them like he was singing, we are family from Dreamgirls. 00:44:24 Speaker 6: Okay, we are so much more. You got so heavy on me? Were black home? 00:44:31 Speaker 4: Remember when they went outside when they was rioting at Curtis, aren't we black on? 00:44:35 Speaker 6: Okay? 00:44:37 Speaker 4: But he did wrap his arms around them and being fake. And the minute that King said something that did not directly allow him to continue posturing as this person who really cared so much, he got snappy. 00:44:51 Speaker 6: He started acting like Eugene, well, well, I was just giving I was just giving away. 00:44:55 Speaker 4: You are well, well, I you know, he started doing all that shit. And you've seen doctor Jackie said, and we don't say if we offended because we did offend. 00:45:08 Speaker 6: That's what she said. 00:45:09 Speaker 4: And then once again, she's cleaning up his wide legged mess once again, once again leaning down like a weeping willow tree and shit looking like when he reached down to hug him, he looked like that thing to be outside the car. Wise, that's how he hugged him. Man, long stretch armstrong, long arm ass. And he still don't feel bad about what he said. 00:45:37 Speaker 6: He just know he fucked up. Now. 00:45:39 Speaker 4: Sometimes that's enough, because it's some people who their willingness to let you know that they did not mean to offend you will override whether or not they understand or not. 00:45:50 Speaker 6: They want you to know, I'm sorry for hurting you. For real. 00:45:53 Speaker 4: You can always tell a person's heart when they apologize to you. Curtis was apologizing for the sake of having saying he did so, and you see that coming a mile away Jackie talking to because Jackie told him too, Otherwise he wouldn't have said shit. So that's why I really don't have any country for his apology. Personally, I'm like I said, I'm glad that the gesture that was a gesture more than a heartfelt apology within and asking for forgiveness. You know what I'm saying. That was just a gesture like I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna if you sneeze, I'm gonna say bless you. It was like that, you know what I mean. And I don't think he meant it at all. He was still argumentative, like I said, And that's it. It's up with him, Okay, that's it. Man with them column motherfucking pants and concrete foot or pants. Man, they could have used his pants to pipe and drape the room with Toya wan of them neked ass, white walls over everywhere, The tables wasn't dressed right. 00:46:51 Speaker 6: I was just like, damn Toya. 00:46:52 Speaker 4: Like the venue was nice, but that's it, and Toya knows better. We're talking about a person who rode a camel in her backyard for a party, So it ain't like Toya, you know what I'm saying. She spent thousands and thousands and thousands. Toya is known for planning parties and the mail gallop. Whether it didn't seem like it was too much of a program, they got up on stage, they got them checks printed, passed them out to them ladies that were happy and deserving of him, said a few words on the mic. They weren't even standing in the right order, cor dragging all across everybody when they passing them out with. 00:47:29 Speaker 6: You gotta do like that. 00:47:30 Speaker 4: So where was the money Toya, who had Louis Vatine, you know, resort house wares outside of her pool, you know, pullside Louis Vauton tiles and throw pillows and cups and shit, a beautiful Toya's house. You say what you want, but that Toya got a bad ass house. 00:47:47 Speaker 6: Toya and Eugene house is the shit, you know? And which how charming and enchanted? 00:47:54 Speaker 7: Is that? 00:47:54 Speaker 6: On some real shit? Love or hate Toya or not? 00:47:57 Speaker 4: If you're a person who is into like, you know, high heels and ship like that and clothes, dresses and ship. Having a big pink cherry blossom tree in your closet, that's dreamy. 00:48:07 Speaker 6: So we love that, you know. 00:48:08 Speaker 4: And I'm sure Eugene was happy providing that for her, in addition to the help that we know she contributed to. Because it's not act like Toya don't get paid. 00:48:15 Speaker 6: For being on this show. But where was all that for? The man gallop? 00:48:25 Speaker 4: And yes, you only had one week? Things stranger things have happened, so I don't know, you know what I'm saying. While it wasn't a horrible event in any way, it was actually a nice event. It just was very underwhelming for me with the decor and Carlos. You know, you know, you know it, Carlos, you know it. 00:48:48 Speaker 6: You know that's right. You've seen it. 00:48:52 Speaker 4: You got on glasses, bro, you've seen it. You've seen it clearly, and you know that room was sparse there clean clean, brain has gone okay. 00:49:05 Speaker 5: So that's the only thing I'm gonna give you, Johns. I'm gonna give you this, and I'm gonna say, ship out. I did not see wearable art. I'm gonna give you that. I'll give you that. 00:49:18 Speaker 3: That's all. 00:49:19 Speaker 6: I can't give you the borrowing Brandy. 00:49:22 Speaker 4: Brandy look good and her her her dress out a little costume element in the right way for a wearable art gala. Brandy looked good and also shout out to Brandy. Did you see how good she looked on that press run Oh, pop out? Then Brandy, I ain't mad at pop out. Brandy good as hell, good as hell had it. Oh and Brandy got some fire and her two Carlos in a good way. 00:49:50 Speaker 5: I love Brandy and I think I think I know we did. 00:49:54 Speaker 2: She has so much smoke and heavily that when me and Happening did these recaps, I kept I can't have him, Like, why does she come for you? 00:50:03 Speaker 5: I don't know, I might heavily. I don't know what's going on with You're not giving her nothing because that I know with a drag. 00:50:10 Speaker 4: Dar because that kind of congressional run that hell heavenly back all season she was biting her tongue and biting her live doing like this. 00:50:20 Speaker 3: You yes, yes. 00:50:24 Speaker 4: Heavenly because so you know, but Brandy's been killing it. She looked good at the at the may Galla. Her husband looked nice to Yeah, her husband look nice. And I like the way that he plays his part. I think that when he comes around the guys, he's got fun. I feel like me and her husband would get along. He got good energy. You know what I'm saying, He's a lot. 00:50:48 Speaker 5: He's a lot like you just like he's Yeah, I want to have a good time. 00:50:54 Speaker 4: Yeah, I like I like you know what I'm saying with Steve, Yeah I would, Yeah, I like Steve. He was a great person. You know what I'm saying, he's a great person. Y'all will go shopping. You know what I'm saying. Colonels, y'all you on the client list, well that one the client list at at Louis for time. 00:51:14 Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. 00:51:18 Speaker 4: In that book, what they say Curls ask her about that book page such st Okay. 00:51:24 Speaker 5: Oh, we gotta get toy in this toy and did Loky eat a little bit? But she said, I mean he walks around in five thousand dollars of jackets that I think are authentic. 00:51:36 Speaker 4: You know, motherfuckers hating on you when they start doing that kind of shit, Well, all you can say about me. 00:51:41 Speaker 6: Is I'm so sharp. 00:51:41 Speaker 4: So now let's question the authenticity of my garments he had, especially from somebody who had a party for a burking bag that nobody questioned. Okay, so you know what I'm saying. I think that, Yeah, they hating, but it's just a friendly jab. You know what I'm saying, it's just a friendly jab. They all gonna take shots. All good. I wasn't offended by that. Now, I definitely don't think he was. Yeah, it was fun because Steve Dobe, I told you best dressed husband. I'm married to medicine ever ever, ever. 00:52:12 Speaker 3: Maybe Bravo quite as good. 00:52:14 Speaker 6: I mean, we get who else putting it on. 00:52:16 Speaker 3: That's my point. I don't think he got Bravo has. 00:52:20 Speaker 4: No No husbands have really been you know what I'm saying, Steve be putting that shit on, and I say it every time. 00:52:27 Speaker 6: What got me was when he had on that black. 00:52:29 Speaker 4: Leather lowave overshirt with the black leather pants too, with the zip or detail like breathtaking. You know what I'm saying. Steve is coolest hell the person. He's a good person man, He's cool. So and I like that, listen. I like that he's not afraid to express himself on camera in a way that will get the people talking. 00:52:53 Speaker 6: I like that. 00:52:54 Speaker 4: I like that Steve is a willing participant. That's good for him and me me amongst his cast. That's good, you know what I'm saying. So I like what Steve is doing on this show. 00:53:05 Speaker 2: I cannot agree with you more, Dustin. 00:53:09 Speaker 5: We are recapping the two part reunion starting next week. 00:53:14 Speaker 6: Down with My Doctor pns.
