<v Speaker 1>Missouri along the Merrimack River, an area steeped in both
<v Speaker 1>mystery and legend. My guest Jay has spent years exploring
<v Speaker 1>the outdoors, and during a camping trip near the infamous
<v Speaker 1>Zombie Road, he experienced something that still doesn't sit right
<v Speaker 1>with him to this day. Zombie Road is often called
<v Speaker 1>one of the most haunted locations in the United States,
<v Speaker 1>but Jay's experiences weren't just paranormal nature. Strange sounds in
<v Speaker 1>the woods, unexplained activity around camp, and moments that made
<v Speaker 1>him question whether something far more physical was moving through
<v Speaker 1>the forest. Whether you're intocrypted creatures, paranormal activity, or UFO
<v Speaker 1>and aliens and you don't feel like all this is connected,
<v Speaker 1>there is one thing that is certain. We are all
<v Speaker 1>searching for the truth when it comes to unexplained mysteries.

<v Speaker 1>into Jay's possible Bigfoot interactions off the Merrimack River and
<v Speaker 1>his paranormal experiences. All right, Jay, welcome to Sasquatch Theory.
<v Speaker 1>How are you doing today.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing great. I made it through the flash floods yesterday,
<v Speaker 2>so I'm happy about that. I'm just excited to be here.
<v Speaker 2>I love the show, and I love the way you
<v Speaker 2>interview people and you get great guests. So I'm just
<v Speaker 2>excited to be here. I've had some experiences in my
<v Speaker 2>life that kind of inspired me to start the crypt podcast,
<v Speaker 2>which is going on. And yeah, we can just get
<v Speaker 2>into the to the stories if you want.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And it's an absolute pleasure to have you
<v Speaker 1>on the show. I met you at the Amaze Asylum
<v Speaker 1>and there were reports of cryptive creatures in the forest
<v Speaker 1>behind there and paranormal beings inside the asylum, and you
<v Speaker 1>and I both experienced a lot of the same things
<v Speaker 1>when we were there, and you can definitely tell that
<v Speaker 1>whatever was vocalizing in the forest was not human.
<v Speaker 2>No, no way. And yeah, that's something You're going to
<v Speaker 2>do a show specifically on that night, so are about
<v Speaker 2>that night. So we don't really need to cover that,
<v Speaker 2>I guess, unless you want to.
<v Speaker 1>We can talk about some key points, but for right now, Jay,
<v Speaker 1>if you would tell us a little bit about yourself,
<v Speaker 1>where you're from, and your experiences from the very beginning,
<v Speaker 1>please absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>Well. I'm Jay and I have the Cryptique Podcast. I
<v Speaker 2>grew up on Zizombie Road. If you guys are familiar
<v Speaker 2>with that, if you're from Missouri, you probably are.
<v Speaker 1>But I've heard about it, if you would give me
<v Speaker 1>some background on Zombie Road.
<v Speaker 2>So a little background on on Zombie Road. It started off,
<v Speaker 2>as you know, where the railroad was put in, and
<v Speaker 2>this is on the Merrimack River and it's pretty close
<v Speaker 2>to Saint Louis, and we had lots of Indigenous people
<v Speaker 2>that you know, resided there obviously well before we did,
<v Speaker 2>and then we had railroads, and then we had gangsters
<v Speaker 2>that set up speakeasies. So there's a lot of strange, bizarre,
<v Speaker 2>untimely deaths that have taken place there, and it's considered
<v Speaker 2>possibly the most haunted road in the country. So you know,
<v Speaker 2>it displays the same stuff that amayas. There's cryptids, there's hauntings,
<v Speaker 2>UFO reports. I haven't seen any there, but yeah, so
<v Speaker 2>there's there's everything going on there. As far as I know,
<v Speaker 2>there hasn't been any reports of any cryptids somewhat recently.
<v Speaker 2>The stories that I'm about to share are going to
<v Speaker 2>be from the like the late sixties that my uncle
<v Speaker 2>told me, and then some experiences that I had in
<v Speaker 2>the eighties there. So one of the you know places,
<v Speaker 2>ad Zombie Road is a big, big gravel bar and
<v Speaker 2>in the eighties it was totally legal for anybody to
<v Speaker 2>drive down there, camp down there, bonfires, four wheeling. It
<v Speaker 2>was paradise. And so me and my buddies would, you know,
<v Speaker 2>camp out on the gravel bar. And my uncle had
<v Speaker 2>told me, you know, you're going to hear like monkeys
<v Speaker 2>across the river, and you know, I was probably like ten,
<v Speaker 2>and I'm like, okay, you know, share whatever. And several
<v Speaker 2>times when we were down there, we heard hoots and whoops.
<v Speaker 2>And I'm very familiar with bart owl's. I mean, they lived,
<v Speaker 2>you know, all around me. I think I had one
<v Speaker 2>outside my window in a fir tree and it kind
<v Speaker 2>of annoyed me at night. But I learned to tell
<v Speaker 2>the difference between you know, a real bard owl and
<v Speaker 2>we could say a barn owl that is maybe injured
<v Speaker 2>or you know, has for some reason, has a different vocalization.
<v Speaker 2>But in my experience, it's been just too many for
<v Speaker 2>that to be the case, you know what I mean,
<v Speaker 2>Like when you hear that, you know, once a week,
<v Speaker 2>once a month, and it's in different places on Zombie Road,
<v Speaker 2>it's I don't think that it's just some messed up
<v Speaker 2>bartow that's playing tricks on us. So, camping out down there,
<v Speaker 2>we heard what sounded like monkeys coming from across the river.
<v Speaker 2>And as a kid, you know, I believed in Sasquatch,
<v Speaker 2>but I all and I had heard the Momo story.
<v Speaker 2>But I always thought, now, that's like in Washington and Oregon,
<v Speaker 2>like they can't live in an environment like Missouri. And
<v Speaker 2>then you know, here we are years later, it's like
<v Speaker 2>they're very diverse. They can live in a lot of
<v Speaker 2>different climates and ecosystems. So, you know, I have kind
<v Speaker 2>of come to the realization that, yes, they are definitely
<v Speaker 2>in Missouri. And in the early eighties there was a
<v Speaker 2>lot less population, so they had more cover and I'm
<v Speaker 2>sure they had more travel corridors to get, you know,
<v Speaker 2>in and out of that area. So yeah, just heard
<v Speaker 2>the hoots my whole life. And then at one point
<v Speaker 2>I guess I would have been probably thirteen twelve something
<v Speaker 2>like that. And now keep in mind we lived in
<v Speaker 2>a rural area, so it's not like we could just
<v Speaker 2>ride our bike to the basketball court or the pool.
<v Speaker 2>We were miles away from basically most civilization. And we
<v Speaker 2>would play like a lot of people play army, and
<v Speaker 2>we just kind of played Ninja. So we would sneak
<v Speaker 2>out at night and we would just walk through the
<v Speaker 2>woods and you know, like, oh, we're on a mission
<v Speaker 2>to get this showgun and stuff like that. I know
<v Speaker 2>it sounds silly now, but when you're twelve, it sounds cool.
<v Speaker 2>And so we had been just kind of walking. It's
<v Speaker 2>not a huge stretch of woods, but it's connected to
<v Speaker 2>like big swaths of you know, un teamed land, I
<v Speaker 2>guess you would have said at the time. So we
<v Speaker 2>kind of hunkered down for a second. We were thinking like, okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>do you want to go here? Do you want to
<v Speaker 2>walk down to the gravel bar? Do you want to
<v Speaker 2>walk down Zombie to glen Coe? And we heard these
<v Speaker 2>weird barn owl sounds and they were about eight feet
<v Speaker 2>up in the air and probably ten feet away from us.
<v Speaker 2>Definitely could have been bard owls in a tree. But
<v Speaker 2>they let out the whoops and then kind of a scream,
<v Speaker 2>and I didn't think we'd be able to get out
<v Speaker 2>because there was there was just it was weird. There
<v Speaker 2>was vines in just like a tangled mess. And at
<v Speaker 2>that point, you know, when we heard that, it's like boom,
<v Speaker 2>you just you're adrenaline sets off. It was one of
<v Speaker 2>the only times in my life where I've actually been terrified,
<v Speaker 2>and I just ran as hard as I could, and
<v Speaker 2>we're like breaking through these vines trying to get out,
<v Speaker 2>and it's like we summoned our inner running back. And
<v Speaker 2>once we broke through the vines, we had like a
<v Speaker 2>four foot fall down onto the actual zombie road, which
<v Speaker 2>runs right along the train tracks. And we got out
<v Speaker 2>and we ran and ran and ran, and we stopped
<v Speaker 2>and talked about it and convinced ourselves that it was
<v Speaker 2>probably just a nest that we had disturbed, but a
<v Speaker 2>nest of what Miguel dun dun dunh not saying for
<v Speaker 2>sure that it was a sasquatch, but you know, these
<v Speaker 2>are the experiences that I've had, and in other Sasquatch
<v Speaker 2>experiences like at Amaeus, I really think that they use
<v Speaker 2>the bard owl sound around here because there's so many
<v Speaker 2>of them around and their voice carries that. I think
<v Speaker 2>that's what they used to communicate, you know, around here
<v Speaker 2>in Missouri at least. So those are my childhood experiences.
<v Speaker 2>But my uncle had the same uncle that you know,
<v Speaker 2>told me, you're going to hear monkeys across the river,
<v Speaker 2>not to be too scared. He described an encounter that
<v Speaker 2>he had at case House on Zombie Road in the
<v Speaker 2>mid sixties. So from where I was at in the
<v Speaker 2>last story on that road, if you were to go
<v Speaker 2>left and walk down to the actual end of where
<v Speaker 2>the railroad tracks used to be at Zombie Road, there
<v Speaker 2>is case House, so it's pretty close. But obviously it
<v Speaker 2>was a lot earlier than my experience. So my uncle
<v Speaker 2>and his buddies are probably, I don't know, sixteen seventeen eighteen.
<v Speaker 2>You know, they were young men, they weren't little boys anymore,
<v Speaker 2>and everybody there was into hunting, and these guys would
<v Speaker 2>go out all the time and just practice with their bows.
<v Speaker 2>So they had a hay bail set up and had
<v Speaker 2>a little target on it or whatever that they were
<v Speaker 2>shooting at. All of a sudden, and this is right
<v Speaker 2>at the woodline there too. All of a sudden, a
<v Speaker 2>deer runs out. So, you know, I hate to say it,
<v Speaker 2>but back in those days they were like, oh, let's
<v Speaker 2>get it and have dinner. So it doesn't seem very
<v Speaker 2>smart that a deer would just run out and stop
<v Speaker 2>right between the eyes with the bows and the haybale.
<v Speaker 2>I mean it was literally lined up with the target.
<v Speaker 2>And then a brown bear walked out of the woods
<v Speaker 2>on two legs and looked at them. Now, these guys are,
<v Speaker 2>like I said, hunters. They're not people that have never
<v Speaker 2>seen a bear in the woods. They're not people that
<v Speaker 2>you know, get scared of, you know, if they're just
<v Speaker 2>hunters man. And so this bear walks out and they're like,
<v Speaker 2>you know, a brown bear, Like, what the heck is
<v Speaker 2>a brown bear doing here? And I have never visually
<v Speaker 2>seen a sasquatch in person, but I could see how
<v Speaker 2>it could mess with your mind. You just don't expect it,
<v Speaker 2>and it's new, and it's out of place, and it's
<v Speaker 2>just really weird. So the biggest bear he'd ever seen,
<v Speaker 2>and they jumped into a pickup and they had burnt
<v Speaker 2>out down the gravel road as fast as you can go.
<v Speaker 2>I guess on a sixties pickup truck on a beat up,
<v Speaker 2>old gravel road. But he said that the thing dropped
<v Speaker 2>down to two legs and chase, I'm sorry, dropped down
<v Speaker 2>to four legs and chased the car. The deer had
<v Speaker 2>gotten away, and he assumes that this bigfoot was pissed
<v Speaker 2>at him and did a bluff charge and ran at
<v Speaker 2>the back of the pickup. And he said that it
<v Speaker 2>would have had no problem. It could have caught up
<v Speaker 2>to him in a split second and snatched somebody out
<v Speaker 2>of the back of the truck, but it just veered
<v Speaker 2>off and went back into the woods. So it's a
<v Speaker 2>scary story. And my uncle actually hunted black bear with
<v Speaker 2>a bow in minnes Soda, so I'm talking about a
<v Speaker 2>real experienced hunter, so it's not somebody that panickes or
<v Speaker 2>gets scared or anything. So that's a really great story.
<v Speaker 2>And then later on we were watching the show Transformers.
<v Speaker 2>So if your listeners are, you know, in their forties,
<v Speaker 2>they've probably seen the cartoon Transformers. My uncle and I
<v Speaker 2>were watching it and just out of nowhere, he's like,
<v Speaker 2>that's that's what it looked like. I'm like, what do
<v Speaker 2>you what do you mean? What are you talking about,
<v Speaker 2>and he's like that that, and he was pointing it.
<v Speaker 2>If you remember Optimus Prime, the leader of the good guys,
<v Speaker 2>transformed into a truck. And he said that when this
<v Speaker 2>this creature dropped to all fours, it didn't like go
<v Speaker 2>down like a bear wood or a dog wood if
<v Speaker 2>it's up on two legs. He said, it looked like itransformed.
<v Speaker 2>It didn't just drop. It actually changed. And I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>what do you mean like a werewolf or something, and
<v Speaker 2>he said, no, it just didn't. It wasn't natural. It
<v Speaker 2>didn't go down to all fours. It transformed into all fours.
<v Speaker 2>So whatever that, whatever that means, I've heard that before
<v Speaker 2>that it's just a really awkward movement and doesn't look
<v Speaker 2>like other animals. So yeah, that was pretty scary and
<v Speaker 2>we just kind of left it at that. It didn't
<v Speaker 2>dropped all fours, it changed. So and that is going
<v Speaker 2>to be basically all the zombie Road bigfoot stories that
<v Speaker 2>I have for Sasquatch. I know a lot of people
<v Speaker 2>don't like the term bigfoot and prefer Sasquatch. It's just
<v Speaker 2>hard because I've called it bigfoot since I was five
<v Speaker 2>years old, you know, reading books in the elementary library,
<v Speaker 2>so it's kind of hard to switch to Sasquatch for me.
<v Speaker 2>But so those are the Zombie Road experiences that I've had.
<v Speaker 2>Did you have any questions on the zombie road stuff
<v Speaker 2>or do you want to move on to the experience
<v Speaker 2>I had last year?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, let's keep it moving, and I appreciate you for
<v Speaker 1>sharing that absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>So we know that the O Sage inhabited this area,
<v Speaker 2>you know, well before we did, and just some interesting
<v Speaker 2>things here. So in an O Sage to English comparison,
<v Speaker 2>they have wa no, which means ghost, qui dase which
<v Speaker 2>means shadow, pie z which means evil. Those all make sense.
<v Speaker 2>But then they have and I'm not sure how to
<v Speaker 2>pronounce this one, but it's he u z, which means monkey.
<v Speaker 2>Why would they have a word for monkey. Either they
<v Speaker 2>saw them there, they traveled to a place that had primates,
<v Speaker 2>or people met with them and brought drawings or pictures
<v Speaker 2>of primates, and that's the term they used to describe sasquatch,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, in my mind, so just a little
<v Speaker 2>aside there. So this experience happened on Wednesday, September eleventh
<v Speaker 2>of last year, right at about ten thirty pm at
<v Speaker 2>the Missouri Park less than a quarter mile downhill from
<v Speaker 2>the biologists report that we talked about off air. So anyway,
<v Speaker 2>you know, for squatching, my kind of idea is just
<v Speaker 2>to kind of sit in camp and let them come
<v Speaker 2>to you. You know, you're not going to run one down,
<v Speaker 2>You're not going to track it night. It's you know,
<v Speaker 2>you just kind of have to wait. So we got
<v Speaker 2>a camp spot which was real close, like I said,
<v Speaker 2>to this incident, and there was a trail right next
<v Speaker 2>to our campsite. And my dog will go on trails
<v Speaker 2>all the time. He's a big baby, but he's a
<v Speaker 2>sixty pound pit bull and you know, he loves camping
<v Speaker 2>and just going out in the woods. He would not
<v Speaker 2>go down that trail, just absolutely refused. I was pulling
<v Speaker 2>him on the leash and he would not go down there.
<v Speaker 2>So that's a little odd, but I just, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I chalked it up like he's just a scaredy cat.
<v Speaker 2>It's okay. And at about ten thirty, like I said,
<v Speaker 2>and if you're going to play the audio, I do
<v Speaker 2>want to be clear to the listeners that the audio
<v Speaker 2>that I sent you is not evidence. It is not
<v Speaker 2>a record of what I experienced that night. It's a
<v Speaker 2>remake of you know, sounds that I got off YouTube
<v Speaker 2>and stuff, So just want to be cleared about clear
<v Speaker 2>about that. So, first off, I hear a single wood
<v Speaker 2>knock from across the river, and then quickly a barred
<v Speaker 2>owl sounding off like they normally do. It sounded like
<v Speaker 2>a natural, real barred owl call. And then a bard
<v Speaker 2>ow allegedly, I guess we'll say, responded, but it was incorrect.
<v Speaker 2>It went into like hot and then immediately was followed
<v Speaker 2>by about five horse whinnies. So I'm not going to
<v Speaker 2>do that sound, but you know what a horse sounds
<v Speaker 2>like when it winnies. There was me, and then unfortunately
<v Speaker 2>there was another like a couple that got the campsite
<v Speaker 2>right next to me, but there were no horses. There
<v Speaker 2>were no horse trailers. There's not wild horses in this
<v Speaker 2>part of Missouri. And yeah, just a horse winning. So
<v Speaker 2>and then dead silence. The frogs and crickets and everything stopped.
<v Speaker 2>My dog freaked out and was scratching at the tent.
<v Speaker 2>I thought he was going to tear it open. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>he was just you know, going at it. I let
<v Speaker 2>him in and zipped up the tent and sat under
<v Speaker 2>my canopy. I had a pistol in my lap, but
<v Speaker 2>don't know that it's going to do much good, just
<v Speaker 2>you know, kind of hopeful that the sound would you know,
<v Speaker 2>deter a sasquatch attack. But in any case, I as
<v Speaker 2>you know, I do a lot of ghost hunting, and
<v Speaker 2>I have a flear cam, but it's really meant for indoors.
<v Speaker 2>It's you know, it's something that contractors and people like
<v Speaker 2>that used to look for heat escaping from you know,
<v Speaker 2>vents or stuff like that. So I got the best
<v Speaker 2>picture that I could, I had to Unfortunately again, these
<v Speaker 2>people that camped right next to me also pitched their
<v Speaker 2>tent five feet from my fire pit, so I had
<v Speaker 2>to kind of shoot the picture around the tarp that
<v Speaker 2>I had put on the side of my canopy. Not
<v Speaker 2>a great picture. It's you know, you can only use
<v Speaker 2>the equipment that you have. So now when this happened,
<v Speaker 2>in seeing this kind of red blob that was in
<v Speaker 2>the woods, you know, on the fleer that is, I
<v Speaker 2>felt heavy, like I don't feel like I was zapped,
<v Speaker 2>which I'm sure your listeners are familiar with, but I
<v Speaker 2>wasn't scared or terrified. I just felt like I'm just
<v Speaker 2>fine right here and didn't want to get up. Probably
<v Speaker 2>shouldn't have left my dog anyway, and I was alone,
<v Speaker 2>but I just did not want to get out of
<v Speaker 2>my chair. So that's you know, I don't, like I said,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if I was zapped. I didn't feel
<v Speaker 2>the terror that people talk about. I didn't get sick
<v Speaker 2>to my stomach or a headache or anything. But I
<v Speaker 2>just felt like I weighed like five hundred pounds, So
<v Speaker 2>it was a little strange. Yeah. So that's basically my
<v Speaker 2>Sasquatch experiences. And then you know, we can add the
<v Speaker 2>Amais sounds in. But those are my experiences on Zombie
<v Speaker 2>Road and on the Merrimack River.
<v Speaker 3>So okay, I appreciate for them. Yeah, sure.
<v Speaker 1>And it seems like the cryptids are following the waterways
<v Speaker 1>for sure, especially the Merrimack River all the way to
<v Speaker 1>the Mississippi. And that's a long stretch. I mean when
<v Speaker 1>you look at it look at it on a map,
<v Speaker 1>you're like, Okay, that's not very big until you go
<v Speaker 1>there and you're like, okay, this is huge and this
<v Speaker 1>river goes forever.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, I don't know you could travel fast
<v Speaker 2>down the river if you got in and just let
<v Speaker 2>the current take you. But the Merrimack is treacherous and
<v Speaker 2>there are deaths all the time, especially right down at
<v Speaker 2>Zombie Road and Castlewood. There's been like thirty deaths drownings.
<v Speaker 2>So I don't think that they would risk, you know,
<v Speaker 2>being in the water. But yeah, I mean they can
<v Speaker 2>find ways to travel that they don't have to swim
<v Speaker 2>and not be seen, So it's a it's an ideal place.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. And it just seems like a lot of
<v Speaker 1>the reports are around the Merrimack, even if they're further off,
<v Speaker 1>they're like five to ten miles away. And I feel
<v Speaker 1>like they follow the creeks that pour into the Merrimac
<v Speaker 1>and just venture all up and down those rivers. And
<v Speaker 1>I mean here in my area, people say the Upper Merrimac,
<v Speaker 1>which is like towards Merrimack Springs, and then a lot
<v Speaker 1>of people have had encounters on the Lower Merrimack, which
<v Speaker 1>is like past Onodoga Cave Park. And it just seems
<v Speaker 1>like the reports just keep going. I've gotten reports from
<v Speaker 1>Saint Clair, Missouri, from Wildwood and so on.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, And you know, like I said, when I was young,
<v Speaker 2>I thought, oh no, these these creatures need like five
<v Speaker 2>hundred acres that's just untouched and a human you know,
<v Speaker 2>may have been through there to map it or something.
<v Speaker 2>But and now I'm like, they really don't need that much.
<v Speaker 2>And they I believe they do migrate to follow food
<v Speaker 2>or for whatever reason. But yeah, I just don't think
<v Speaker 2>they need as much land as people think they do.
<v Speaker 2>And I think that they're smart enough that they don't,
<v Speaker 2>you know, In my opinion, my belief is that they're
<v Speaker 2>not just like some kind of monkey, that they're smarter
<v Speaker 2>and like way smarter. And I just I feel like
<v Speaker 2>they can probably find food wherever they're at, even if
<v Speaker 2>you're supporting a six hundred pound body. I mean, if
<v Speaker 2>all you have to do is forage for food, and
<v Speaker 2>they probably know things that they can eat that you know,
<v Speaker 2>maybe other animals don't even mess with. So yeah, I
<v Speaker 2>just I I don't think they need five hundred acres anymore.
<v Speaker 3>So, yeah, they're nomadic and they travel.
<v Speaker 1>And of course there's all kinds of strange theories regarding
<v Speaker 1>the Bigfoot creatures, whether they're inter dimensional, they go underground,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean, the mystery continues, but I've gotten strange
<v Speaker 1>reports even across the Bridge in Saint Louis. There's like
<v Speaker 1>an industrial area where trains, like where the trains go by,
<v Speaker 1>and there's just like this small strip of woods along
<v Speaker 1>the shoreline of the Mississippi. And the guy claims he
<v Speaker 1>shot a dog man there. And I mean, I went
<v Speaker 1>there and checked it out. It's definitely a rugged area.
<v Speaker 1>There's not enough woods there. But who am I to say?
<v Speaker 1>Because a lot of the dog man reports they're just
<v Speaker 1>all up and down the Mississippi River. And I was
<v Speaker 1>reading online and people, I don't know, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>who it was, but they claim they saw a dog
<v Speaker 1>man like pretty much where the arches, and I'm like

<v Speaker 2>are into sasquatch probably feel that way, but you know,
<v Speaker 2>after you know, doing some research listening to some shows,
<v Speaker 2>I believe that it's its own thing.

<v Speaker 1>I mean, it could be an undiscovered creature, a demon,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, but I know they're out there. And
<v Speaker 1>this leads to what we're going to talk about next
<v Speaker 1>in the podcast. When I showed up at the Ames Asylum,
<v Speaker 1>you know, one of the researchers was there, Christa, and
<v Speaker 1>it was just her and I and we were trying
<v Speaker 1>to figure out where we were going to set up
<v Speaker 1>the camp and you know, what we were going to do.
<v Speaker 1>And I heard a vocalization that had to have been encrypted,
<v Speaker 1>and I mean it echoed across the valley. At first
<v Speaker 1>I thought it came from across the highway, and then
<v Speaker 1>I heard it behind the asylum, and I think I
<v Speaker 1>think it possibly was a dog man. It didn't sound
<v Speaker 1>like Bigfoot, but it also it didn't sound like any
<v Speaker 1>known animal.
<v Speaker 2>That I've ever heard.
<v Speaker 1>And I live around the wilderness. I hear coyotes, foxes
<v Speaker 1>and bobcats and all kinds of things, and whatever I
<v Speaker 1>heard back there was just not normal. And there was
<v Speaker 1>a dog man society next to the Ames Asylum, right
<v Speaker 1>up the road. I can't remember the name of the town,
<v Speaker 1>but just on one side of the Missouri River. Do
<v Speaker 1>you remember the name of the town where that happened.
<v Speaker 2>Oh gosh, I sure don't.
<v Speaker 1>It starts with a D, but I can't remember. It's
<v Speaker 1>by Martha's Ville, Missouri.
<v Speaker 2>Oh gosh, yeah, I can't. I can't think of it
<v Speaker 2>off the top of my head. I know what you're
<v Speaker 2>talking about.
<v Speaker 3>But yeah, by the Katie Trail.
<v Speaker 1>So if people listening know there was a dog man
<v Speaker 1>sighting there, A family or whoever was driving down the
<v Speaker 1>highway there and they claim that a dog man was
<v Speaker 1>running next to their vehicle, and that's that's frightening because
<v Speaker 1>the Amaze Asylum is just right down the road, and
<v Speaker 1>you know, we're hearing these sounds. After the investigation, we
<v Speaker 1>spoke with the people that are living there and they
<v Speaker 1>said that they've been hearing strange sounds coming from the forest.
<v Speaker 1>That they see the shadow inside the asylum and it
<v Speaker 1>seems like it in it just engulfs their entire vision
<v Speaker 1>and I think that'd be scary. And even the property
<v Speaker 1>owner was like, yeah, I'm here in all kinds of
<v Speaker 1>strange always is back here. But yeah, if you would,
<v Speaker 1>Jay tell us about your experiences at the AMAUS Asylum
<v Speaker 1>and kind of what you experienced there when we researched.
<v Speaker 2>Sure, So I want to start off by saying my
<v Speaker 2>phone was at seven percent, and like you and I
<v Speaker 2>were talking off air, it's I don't get reception at AMAIS,
<v Speaker 2>so you know, I could have to walk up to
<v Speaker 2>the top of the ridge or drive a few miles
<v Speaker 2>to get service. So I wanted to keep my seven percent.
<v Speaker 2>And I was hearing the vocalizations that you know that
<v Speaker 2>you heard that everybody heard all night, And it was
<v Speaker 2>to the point where I'm like, I got to record
<v Speaker 2>one of these. I don't want to, you know, I
<v Speaker 2>don't want to waste a bunch of battery, but and
<v Speaker 2>I just like, so I hit record and then like
<v Speaker 2>five seconds later it came back again. The sound. I
<v Speaker 2>witnessed multiple UFOs, And I don't when I say UFO,
<v Speaker 2>I don't mean spaceship filled with aliens. For sure. Something
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't identify that came over the ridge across the street.
<v Speaker 2>It was a white light. It wasn't flashing, but it
<v Speaker 2>was flying in a straight line, and I don't know
<v Speaker 2>how far it flew because I don't know how far
<v Speaker 2>it was away from me, but you know, it flew,
<v Speaker 2>you know, for a minute, like probably like ten seconds,
<v Speaker 2>actually flew straight stopped, and then went straight up in
<v Speaker 2>the air and disappeared. And when it went up, it
<v Speaker 2>was it went a little bit faster than when it
<v Speaker 2>was flying, but not much. And this happened probably five
<v Speaker 2>or six times, and I could not get a picture
<v Speaker 2>of it. So it's there, and you know, we all
<v Speaker 2>witnessed a lot of other strange occurrences in the sky,
<v Speaker 2>but this repeated, so I'm interested to go back and
<v Speaker 2>see if I can see this again. And then on
<v Speaker 2>the left of me was the seminary building and within
<v Speaker 2>about I don't know, probably an hour hour and a
<v Speaker 2>half of when I took the picture that's on TikTok,
<v Speaker 2>there was a black shadow figure that walked down the
<v Speaker 2>back steps and just kind of disappeared. So I went
<v Speaker 2>down there, couldn't find anything. Come back up, and then
<v Speaker 2>there's green lights on the second floor of the seminary
<v Speaker 2>building and they're moving around and there's some shadows in there,
<v Speaker 2>but it was lights moving hitting something, but we know
<v Speaker 2>for a fact that nobody was in there on the
<v Speaker 2>second floor, so that that is what it is. Again,
<v Speaker 2>this is all sitting and just sitting in my camping
<v Speaker 2>chair outside the seminary building. I looked down to the
<v Speaker 2>bridge that you have to cross to get in to
<v Speaker 2>Amass for listeners. It's just about like a thirty foot bridge,
<v Speaker 2>but this is about one hundred and fifty yards away,
<v Speaker 2>and I see a black, four legged creature definitely bigger
<v Speaker 2>than a house cat. It could have been dog sized,
<v Speaker 2>it could have been bigger. I'm not sure, but I
<v Speaker 2>saw it. And then Joe was there and he had
<v Speaker 2>Joe from Ozark carry Man had a good night vision
<v Speaker 2>scope and it just didn't show up. It did not
<v Speaker 2>show up at all in the scope. So I don't
<v Speaker 2>know what it was. I mean, it just didn't show
<v Speaker 2>up as being something that gave off heat. So there's
<v Speaker 2>that and in that same chair, and this didn't happen
<v Speaker 2>that same night. But you can see the church on
<v Speaker 2>the top of the hill and they keep it keep
<v Speaker 2>the lights on at night, and frequently I have seen
<v Speaker 2>a shadow person or an entity of some sort just
<v Speaker 2>walking between the windows and as if you come to
<v Speaker 2>an Amazed investigation. We're not allowed in the church, but
<v Speaker 2>the people that are running the investigation, the lead guys
<v Speaker 2>from Haunted Souls, they have keys to everything, and they
<v Speaker 2>have to go up there and make sure there's nobody
<v Speaker 2>in there, because nobody's supposed to be in there, and
<v Speaker 2>they went in there's nothing in there. So I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't used to be a huge believer in you know,
<v Speaker 2>wormholes and portals and stuff like that, but some of
<v Speaker 2>these places where we're seeing all all this different type
<v Speaker 2>of activity, it really makes me wonder if there's not
<v Speaker 2>portals or wormholes at these places that these things are
<v Speaker 2>just coming through.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, I mean with my personal experiences they are.
<v Speaker 3>One.
<v Speaker 1>In Mexico, I saw one of these wormholes and I
<v Speaker 1>was just kind of like staring at it, and I
<v Speaker 1>thought it was like, I don't know, it was like
<v Speaker 1>a black hole in the ground, and I'm like, what
<v Speaker 1>is that? And I slowly walked towards it, and the
<v Speaker 1>shadow being stood up out of it right in front
<v Speaker 1>of me and like confronted me.
<v Speaker 3>I took off running.
<v Speaker 1>But that's my experience, so I can say for sure
<v Speaker 1>that portals exist, but I don't expect people to believe me.
<v Speaker 1>And yeah, the experiences that we had at the AMAUS asylum,
<v Speaker 1>that was just startling because Christa and I were sitting
<v Speaker 1>there and you were setting up your tent. I remember
<v Speaker 1>staring at the back of the asylum and not one
<v Speaker 1>door was open other than the main door on the
<v Speaker 1>little ramp there bridge whatever it is that goes into
<v Speaker 1>the asylum. You know, we were going in and out
<v Speaker 1>of that door, but the main one to the right
<v Speaker 1>on the upper floor, Like, we looked up and that
<v Speaker 1>door was completely open, and Christa yelled at you, like
<v Speaker 1>she didn't yell at you, but she called to you
<v Speaker 1>and she said, hey, did you open up that door?
<v Speaker 1>And you said no. I mean, I don't know how
<v Speaker 1>that door got opened. These doors are big metal doors,
<v Speaker 1>they're not white doors. I mean, maybe it did open
<v Speaker 1>up on its own. But when I was inside the asylum,
<v Speaker 1>we heard like door slamming shut or like banging noises,
<v Speaker 1>and it was just creepy. And we also noticed the
<v Speaker 1>next day, Brandy and I we went to where the
<v Speaker 1>the woman was scolded in the bathtub, that door was
<v Speaker 1>shut and locked, and it's just like, really, what, Yeah
<v Speaker 1>that makes sense? Yeah, yeah, we we couldn't figure it out.
<v Speaker 1>And we went back later on and Haunted Souls was
<v Speaker 1>there and they already had it open, and they said
<v Speaker 1>that maybe it just shut on its own, but I
<v Speaker 1>don't think so.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it is funny that, you know, sometimes they dismiss
<v Speaker 2>stuff and I'm like, well, wait a minute, now, let's
<v Speaker 2>take a let's take a closer look at this. You know,
<v Speaker 2>you can't. You can't just be like, I probably shot
<v Speaker 2>on it or shut on itself. Where's the evidence. That's
<v Speaker 2>what people always want, right, And I say, go out
<v Speaker 2>for the experience. You know, it's it's not Maybe some
<v Speaker 2>people think that if they get a really good picture
<v Speaker 2>of a ghost or a sasquatch, it'll make them rich
<v Speaker 2>or famous or something, but I think mostly it really
<v Speaker 2>just draws ridicule, unfortunately, because there's so many fakes out there.
<v Speaker 2>But go for the experience. Man, you don't have to
<v Speaker 2>capture everything on camera and a maayas. I feel like
<v Speaker 2>the spirits there are getting used to us, They're getting comfortable.
<v Speaker 2>They know that we're not trying to send them to
<v Speaker 2>the light or you know, we're not doing seances and
<v Speaker 2>ouiji boards and stuff like that. It's my opinion that
<v Speaker 2>they're getting comfortable and they're starting to come out. And
<v Speaker 2>that room where the door shut is the same room
<v Speaker 2>that we had the cigarette smoker in, and so yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, Amayas is great, and we'll be doing a
<v Speaker 2>bunch of tours out there. I think we have one
<v Speaker 2>in July and then I know we've got a ton
<v Speaker 2>in October. But it's it's lit up man that place.
<v Speaker 2>I really think that there's got to be at least
<v Speaker 2>one wormhole or portal that these things are coming through
<v Speaker 2>because it's just too much mm hmm.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>By the end of the night, I was I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I'll admit it, I was terrified, especially since the fact
<v Speaker 1>that I was sleeping behind there and you are too
<v Speaker 1>down on by the lower by the bottom floor. But
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. Once I laid down, I could not
<v Speaker 1>wait for morning to come. And then once I started
<v Speaker 1>falling asleep, I heard that vocalization up there by the
<v Speaker 1>cemetery and I was like, oh boy, this is not good.
<v Speaker 1>I should have grabbed my camera and filmed it, but
<v Speaker 1>I would just like go to sleep and go. And
<v Speaker 1>the reason I did that was because the ozar carry
<v Speaker 1>man had that audio recorder right where those sounds were
<v Speaker 1>coming from. So I was like, I'm not gonna mess
<v Speaker 1>with it because if I do, I'm not gonna be
<v Speaker 1>able to sleep and I'm gonna have to deal with
<v Speaker 1>this for the rest of the night.
<v Speaker 2>Well, as you know, I took my nephew with me
<v Speaker 2>that night. I kind of regret being like, hey, do
<v Speaker 2>you want to go you know, ghost Onny and You're
<v Speaker 2>like yeah, and like yeah, we're gonna look for dog
<v Speaker 2>men and sasquad. She's like yeah, And then I thought
<v Speaker 2>about it afterwards. I'm maybe Mais wasn't the best place
<v Speaker 2>to take him. So we went into mad Albert cell
<v Speaker 2>which is on I believe, the third level of the
<v Speaker 2>seminary building, and we were just doing, you know, a
<v Speaker 2>little VP session, just saying is there anyone here would
<v Speaker 2>you like to talk to us? And he said my
<v Speaker 2>nephew said, do you want us to leave? And we
<v Speaker 2>had the spirit box on and it doesn't hardly pick
<v Speaker 2>up anything there because the signals pour and you know,
<v Speaker 2>if you're not familiar with the spirit box, it kind
<v Speaker 2>of scans radio stations real quick, and what you hope
<v Speaker 2>for is a word in there. And the theory is
<v Speaker 2>that somehow the spirit can speak through it or control it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not sure on the science behind it or you
<v Speaker 2>know whatever, but in any case, it spit out Wes
<v Speaker 2>and that's his dad's name, so that's what terrified him.
<v Speaker 2>He's like, we got to get out of here. Let's go.
<v Speaker 2>Let's go. And now keep in mind he's young. And
<v Speaker 2>I was like, okay, do you want me to go
<v Speaker 2>in front of you or do you want to go first?
<v Speaker 2>And I'll watch your back and he's like no, no, no,
<v Speaker 2>we're going side by side. I'm like, okay, well we
<v Speaker 2>can try. And it was like a comedy when you
<v Speaker 2>see two people trying to go through the door at
<v Speaker 2>the same time and getting stuck. And after that, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>he's like, I need to go to sleep. And I'm like, okay, great,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I'll get you, get you to sleep, and
<v Speaker 2>I'll go hang out with Krista and Miguel up there.
<v Speaker 2>And he's like, no, no, you need to be within
<v Speaker 2>ten feet. You have to be within ten feet of
<v Speaker 2>the tent. Don't leave. I'm like, okay, So you know,
<v Speaker 2>I stayed down there with him and we all survived.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely, And I remember seeing the terror on his
<v Speaker 1>face like he just didn't want to mess with anymore,
<v Speaker 1>and I felt bad. I didn't say anything. I didn't
<v Speaker 1>want to be like, hey, would you experience in there,
<v Speaker 1>because I didn't want to intensify his fear. But I
<v Speaker 1>could definitely tell that he experienced something. And yeah, that's
<v Speaker 1>not normal that this thing said his dad's name, because
<v Speaker 1>it could have said anything. It could have said fruit, guitar, Barbie,
<v Speaker 1>or poodle. But I mean it said, you know, something
<v Speaker 1>that really hit home with him, and that's not random
<v Speaker 1>and that's not a coincidence. And it seems like these
<v Speaker 1>things already know you before you ever even walking through
<v Speaker 1>those doors.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, it's a little.
<v Speaker 3>Scary, Yeah for sure.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I respect your guys' view on the paranormal.
<v Speaker 1>For me, I felt I personally felt like something evil
<v Speaker 1>was in there. I just felt like this dread, this,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, this overwhelming feeling, this pressure, and I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. That's just my take on it, But I
<v Speaker 1>also appreciate other people's view on it because I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>And I think Ozar carry me and had the same
<v Speaker 2>impression too, So we're you know, yeah, my nephew got scared,
<v Speaker 2>but we're talking about adults that have been bluff charged
<v Speaker 2>by sasquatch that are like, I don't want to go
<v Speaker 2>in there, so you know, that should tell you something.
<v Speaker 2>And who knows, because you know, maybe you experience something
<v Speaker 2>in there that none of us have, because I haven't
<v Speaker 2>felt like a demonic feeling, but that doesn't mean it's
<v Speaker 2>not there, and that doesn't mean that, you know, it
<v Speaker 2>wants to come out and play every time there's somebody
<v Speaker 2>in there. So it could just be one person that
<v Speaker 2>has that experience.
<v Speaker 3>You know, mm hmm, yeah, very well, very well could be.
<v Speaker 1>And I feel like a lot of the patients that
<v Speaker 1>ended up there had some type of like demonic hold
<v Speaker 1>on them because like, let's say, if the devil does exist,
<v Speaker 1>he's going to tell you, you know, you're not worth anything,
<v Speaker 1>you don't matter in life, no one, no one likes you,
<v Speaker 1>You're never gonna get better. And you know, these are
<v Speaker 1>the feelings that people had that ended up in that asylum.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they had like this insane or not insane,
<v Speaker 1>like this overwhelming anxiety, fear, depression, and it led to
<v Speaker 1>mental health conditions that they just couldn't control anymore, and
<v Speaker 1>that's why they ended up being there. And I feel like,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, these things are probably there too, because
<v Speaker 1>that's the feeling I got in there. But it could
<v Speaker 1>have just been fear. I mean, the place is run down,
<v Speaker 1>it's dark. You're at a haunted location, so maybe I
<v Speaker 1>was just you know, working myself up.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'll tell you what I mean. It can't look
<v Speaker 2>any more haunted than it does. It can't. It looks
<v Speaker 2>like a movie set, like something you see on like
<v Speaker 2>twenty eight days later or twenty eight weeks later or
<v Speaker 2>something like that. It's it looks scary, you know. It
<v Speaker 2>lives up to the reputation. We know that at least
<v Speaker 2>four people died in a fire there. We know that
<v Speaker 2>the reverend's wife was scalded to death in the tub,
<v Speaker 2>and we know for sure that there was a drowning
<v Speaker 2>that happened there and it was the jury found that
<v Speaker 2>it was an accident. But I can't find anything else
<v Speaker 2>on it. And we looked for a pool everywhere around
<v Speaker 2>there and couldn't find anything that appeared to be like
<v Speaker 2>a filled in pool. But it could be or maybe
<v Speaker 2>this guy drowned in the bathtub. I mean, I guess
<v Speaker 2>it could be. Well, no, I don't think it would
<v Speaker 2>be the creek. But yeah, either in a bathtub or
<v Speaker 2>in a pool that we can't find. So, you know,
<v Speaker 2>we just don't know enough about the place yet. I'm
<v Speaker 2>doing as much research as I can, but it's difficult
<v Speaker 2>and the current to Maya isn't helpful. They don't want
<v Speaker 2>anything to do with a Maus asylum being haunted because
<v Speaker 2>it brings up the way that special needs people were
<v Speaker 2>treated back then. And it's not perfect today, but it's
<v Speaker 2>a lot better back then. Like you said, they were
<v Speaker 2>just cast aside. You know, I don't want a child
<v Speaker 2>with Down syndrome because you know people, you know, they'll
<v Speaker 2>look down on me. So I'm just going to send
<v Speaker 2>her to this place. And stuff like that happened all
<v Speaker 2>the time. And if you can, if you're a spirit
<v Speaker 2>or a demon that feeds off negative emotions and anxiety
<v Speaker 2>and stress and fear, what better place for you?

<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And I agree with that one hundred percent. And
<v Speaker 1>what I found to be really interesting was these vocalizations
<v Speaker 1>right there behind the asylum. I just don't feel like
<v Speaker 1>that's a coincidence. Yeah, I have another area where there's
<v Speaker 1>a cemetery and people are hearing and seeing cryptid creatures.
<v Speaker 1>And that's what Brandy and Christa told me when they
<v Speaker 1>invited me to the area. They're like, hey, we were
<v Speaker 1>in that hallway, we were talking and we had the
<v Speaker 1>phone recording and we heard this cryptied creature back behind
<v Speaker 1>the asylum. And like I said before we left, the
<v Speaker 1>people that are staying in those buses, I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if they're homeless or whatever, but they said that they've
<v Speaker 1>been hearing that often. And also the one of the
<v Speaker 1>owners said the same thing. He's like, yeah, we hear
<v Speaker 1>weird stuff here all the time. I mean, it could
<v Speaker 1>just be a coincidence, but I'm not writing it off.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is happening right behind a haunted area
<v Speaker 1>by a cemetery and the woods and the woods that's
<v Speaker 1>a pretty big woods. I took the drone over there
<v Speaker 1>and it's just like, Okay, there's definitely enough forest here
<v Speaker 1>for something to move back and forth. And there was
<v Speaker 1>a dog man sighting off of Katie Trail right down
<v Speaker 1>the road, and that's pretty much. It's pretty close to
<v Speaker 1>where Daniel Boone was buried when he passed away.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, yeah, I don't know. I It's it's been said
<v Speaker 2>a lot that I think dog Man likes to like
<v Speaker 2>cemeteries for some reason, likes to dig up graves. I
<v Speaker 2>think people speculated that, you know, was eating what was
<v Speaker 2>in there or whatever. But we know for a fact
<v Speaker 2>in this area there is plenty of game for these
<v Speaker 2>sasquatch and dogmen deer everywhere everywhere if they really wanted to.
<v Speaker 2>You know, we did hear real roosters, not where the
<v Speaker 2>dog man sound was coming from, but you know, across
<v Speaker 2>the street and down a little bit, you know, you
<v Speaker 2>don't hear of livestock or pets being attacked. And I
<v Speaker 2>think it's because they just have so much wild game
<v Speaker 2>that it's you know, they don't need to.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I agree with that, and I mean this area
<v Speaker 1>is close to a waterway, so yet again, you know,
<v Speaker 1>it lines up with the reports, and I hope I
<v Speaker 1>don't run into it. I mean, honestly, that's what I
<v Speaker 1>was thinking that night when I was sleeping in my tongue,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I hope this thing doesn't come close
<v Speaker 1>to me, And it seemed like I got further and
<v Speaker 1>further every time, and then right when I thought it
<v Speaker 1>was pretty far back there, it vocalizes again.
<v Speaker 3>And then it was closer.
<v Speaker 2>I was like, ah shit, yeah, you know, if I
<v Speaker 2>wouldn't have had my nephew with me, I may have
<v Speaker 2>thought about just sleeping in the asylum, like pulling the
<v Speaker 2>door shut, because yeah, I mean, demons are out there,
<v Speaker 2>for sure, Spirits are out there, for sure. I am
<v Speaker 2>not scared of ghosts, like I would sit and have
<v Speaker 2>a conversation with a full body apparition if I could.
<v Speaker 2>I don't believe that ninety nine percent of spirits can
<v Speaker 2>hurt you. If you see that they you know, pick
<v Speaker 2>something up and throw it. Yeah, that that could be
<v Speaker 2>dangerous because there could be a knife or whatever. But
<v Speaker 2>a sasquatch and a dog man they're different because you know,
<v Speaker 2>we at least I haven't heard a lot of stories
<v Speaker 2>about sasquatch attacks. But what are you going to do
<v Speaker 2>if an eight hundred pounds sasquatch comes after you, you
<v Speaker 2>have a nine millimeter good luck, hope you're a good shot.
<v Speaker 2>And same with dog man that you know, these are
<v Speaker 2>flesh and blood at least sometimes in you know, my

<v Speaker 2>intimidating for me, and especially you know, what are you
<v Speaker 2>gonna do get in your car, you'd have to drive
<v Speaker 2>off because it could just rip your door off if
<v Speaker 2>it wanted two. So yeah, I'm a little scared of
<v Speaker 2>dog men in sasquatch, but ghosts don't really get me.
<v Speaker 2>But there's so much investigating left to do. It in
<v Speaker 2>meis and I hope you'll join us out there again
<v Speaker 2>and we'll do some more investigations together. I need to
<v Speaker 2>learn a lot about sasquatching, dog man hunting.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, absolutely I would be up for that. And
<v Speaker 1>for me, it's the complete opposite, Like I would have
<v Speaker 1>rather walked through that forest with dog man and sasquatch
<v Speaker 1>and you know, it was tick infested, snake infested, and
<v Speaker 1>I would rather do that than be in that asylum. Like,
<v Speaker 1>I just did not like the feeling that I had there.
<v Speaker 1>So I think when I go back, I'm gonna do
<v Speaker 1>the same thing. You know, I'll hang out in the back.
<v Speaker 1>I think we should have walkie talkies, like we communicate
<v Speaker 1>back and forth, like Okay, we're having experiences on this floor,
<v Speaker 1>and then I can be there to relay, Hey, I'm
<v Speaker 1>hearing this strange creature out there, and we can kind of,
<v Speaker 1>you know, communicate back and forth. But even if I
<v Speaker 1>did see a sasquatch back there, there's no way of
<v Speaker 1>just saying for sure, oh yeah, the cryptids are connected
<v Speaker 1>to the paranormal.
<v Speaker 3>Now we can.
<v Speaker 1>Believe that it is, but there's just no way of
<v Speaker 1>really knowing. I mean, it's just another coincidence. Here's a
<v Speaker 1>sasquatch or dog man, and you have this haunted area
<v Speaker 1>and a cemetery as well. So it's just like I
<v Speaker 1>see the connection, but other people don't. So I definitely
<v Speaker 1>do believe that it ties in with portals wormholes, and
<v Speaker 1>I don't think there's one specific place where these portals are.
<v Speaker 1>I think they can just open up anywhere at any
<v Speaker 1>given moment, and it's just a really tough thing to investigate.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like personally, paranormal researchers have proven the after
<v Speaker 1>a lot that this is a real thing, and I
<v Speaker 1>don't know why science doesn't talk about it. But as
<v Speaker 1>far as the cryptid subject. I mean, I feel like
<v Speaker 1>there's still more research to be done. But if like
<v Speaker 1>the Roger Patterson Bob Gimlin footage is real, I mean
<v Speaker 1>that proves it. I mean, I don't know what else
<v Speaker 1>people need to do, but I don't know. They're all
<v Speaker 1>out there, that's all we need to know. There's demons,
<v Speaker 1>there's UFOs, there's cryptid creatures in the forest, and I
<v Speaker 1>think a lot of people will be skeptical until they
<v Speaker 1>experience it for themselves, and then that's when it changes you.
<v Speaker 1>That's when you get into it or you just want
<v Speaker 1>to have nothing to do with it, and that's what
<v Speaker 1>it takes for someone to be a believer. But of
<v Speaker 1>course there's a lot of good researchers out there that
<v Speaker 1>have never really experienced much that they're open to it.
<v Speaker 1>You know, they're open minded and they're out there trying
<v Speaker 1>to see if they can have an experience of their own.
<v Speaker 1>So that's good too. There's just a lot of different
<v Speaker 1>ways to go about it, and I think for a
<v Speaker 1>majority of people, they just they can't digest what other
<v Speaker 1>people are saying when it comes to the pair nor
<v Speaker 1>more cryptids. It's just one of those things you have
<v Speaker 1>to experience for yourself.
<v Speaker 2>One hundred percent. If if you think that you can
<v Speaker 2>look at a scary ghost picture, even if you believe
<v Speaker 2>it's authentic and it's the same as being in that place,
<v Speaker 2>you're sadly mistaken. Go for the experience. Any evidence that
<v Speaker 2>you get is just the cherry on top. But if
<v Speaker 2>you go to a mas you'll be a believer. And
<v Speaker 2>you know, you talk about science, Science should be the
<v Speaker 2>most open minded of any discipline out there. But if
<v Speaker 2>it doesn't fit what they want and what's already kind
<v Speaker 2>of dogma, then they criticize it, ridicule it, and discredit
<v Speaker 2>it and try and you know, make everybody believe that
<v Speaker 2>anybody who believes that they've seen a ghost or a
<v Speaker 2>sasquatch is absolutely insane. And it's worked.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Absolutely.
<v Speaker 1>When that light came on around midnight on the fourth
<v Speaker 1>floor and I saw Joe creeping towards it, like looking intensely,
<v Speaker 1>I knew something was off because he never gets scared,
<v Speaker 1>Like we go into deep forest national forests at nighttime
<v Speaker 1>and he'll want to walk through those forests like we
<v Speaker 1>were at the Daniel Boone. He walked miles at like
<v Speaker 1>two in the morning, and he's like, let's go, guys.
<v Speaker 1>But when I saw him like freak, not freaking out,
<v Speaker 1>but just like startled at what he was witnessing, I
<v Speaker 1>knew that he was creeped out and I was too.
<v Speaker 1>I think everybody was.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and at a mass it's not a feeling like
<v Speaker 2>a group delusion or anything like that. Everybody experiences different
<v Speaker 2>things at different places, and you know it is an
<v Speaker 2>eerie place. But there's there's too much history, too much
<v Speaker 2>you know, eyewitness ear witness stuff that's happened that it's
<v Speaker 2>it's hard to deny. And I just encourage people. You know,
<v Speaker 2>if you haven't been, if you believe in sasquatch and
<v Speaker 2>you haven't been outsquatching, you don't have to go fifteen
<v Speaker 2>miles into the woods and camp out for a week
<v Speaker 2>and you're not going to you know, run them down.
<v Speaker 2>You you just go find a place camp and listen
<v Speaker 2>and you know, maybe there'll be one around your campsite.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah. Absolutely.
<v Speaker 2>Fish eating and hunting, yeah for sure.
<v Speaker 3>You just never know what you're going to get.
<v Speaker 1>And I feel like if I took people out to
<v Speaker 1>look for Sasquatch, I could tell them, hey, there's like
<v Speaker 1>a fifty percent chance that we might hear something, and
<v Speaker 1>this taking them to like some of my best areas,
<v Speaker 1>like we might not experience anything at all. But if
<v Speaker 1>I were to tell someone like, hey, you want to
<v Speaker 1>experience the paranormal, I'm gonna take you to the Amaze Asylum.
<v Speaker 1>We're going to stay the night, that I can almost
<v Speaker 1>say there's like an eighty to ninety nine point nine
<v Speaker 1>percent chance that you're going to experience something.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, whether it's UFOs, cryptids, or ghosts, it's it's all out.
<v Speaker 2>There were gypsies, you.
<v Speaker 3>Know, Yeah, the gypsies were there.
<v Speaker 2>Man, people use anymore, but yeah, the gypsies were there too.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The cool thing about it was one of the gypsies said, hey,
<v Speaker 1>if I hear those vocalizations, do you want me to
<v Speaker 1>record it on my phone? I said absolutely, and I
<v Speaker 1>gave him my business card, so we'll see if they do.
<v Speaker 1>But you could tell that he was pretty terrified. He
<v Speaker 1>had a request for the paranormal group there and he's like,
<v Speaker 1>will you guys quit using the Aztec death whistle? And
<v Speaker 1>he was just freaked out and we said why. He's like,
<v Speaker 1>cause when you guys do that and you leave, things
<v Speaker 1>really intensified, like it opens up some type of doorway,
<v Speaker 1>and he was like scared. I didn't say no, we're
<v Speaker 1>not going to because I'm not part of the group.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not the one doing it. But Christian Brandy said,
<v Speaker 1>we can't guarantee that. We'll tell them to try to
<v Speaker 1>knock it off, but we can't guarantee it. So I
<v Speaker 1>feel bad for them, you know, they got to sleep
<v Speaker 1>out there every day. But you know what it comes
<v Speaker 1>with the territory.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, if you're you know, you have a
<v Speaker 2>bus or a camper or something like that, it's kind
<v Speaker 2>of hard to you know, just park it at a
<v Speaker 2>haunted asylum and be like, yeah, we don't want to
<v Speaker 2>do any paranormal stuff here, just keep it. Well, no,
<v Speaker 2>you've parked at a haunted asylum. That's what happens. So but yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I also think that because they've talked to about it,
<v Speaker 2>the haunted souls have talked about them, like saying, you
<v Speaker 2>guys blew the whistle and they're like, no, we didn't.
<v Speaker 2>So it could also be that something in the area
<v Speaker 2>is copying the sound of the death whistle and you know,
<v Speaker 2>emitting it itself, whether it's a sasquatch, dog man, or spirit.
<v Speaker 2>There's a possibility that it could be any or all
<v Speaker 2>of those, so I don't know, but yeah, if you
<v Speaker 2>park in a haunted asylum, you kind of get what
<v Speaker 2>you get. Right.
<v Speaker 1>That's like going to East Saint Louis saying you don't
<v Speaker 1>want to experience crime at two in the morning.
<v Speaker 2>Right, exactly, exactly?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, Okay, Jay, do you have any other experiences that

<v Speaker 2>Not sasquatch or dog man related? And you know, I'm
<v Speaker 2>hoping to get out more and have more experiences, you know,
<v Speaker 2>hopefully with you and Joe and some other people, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, talk about it on a later show. But

<v Speaker 2>and you're like, oh, I got gotta explore that, and
<v Speaker 2>I got to think about this, and it's a never
<v Speaker 2>ending circle when you're studying you know, the paranormal encryptis
<v Speaker 2>and stuff. But that's why we do it. It's fun.
<v Speaker 1>No, Yeah, for sure, the more research I do, the
<v Speaker 1>less I know, so the cycle continues.
