[SPEAKER_02]: Last cast, we finished up talking about the Harley Quinn's, what is a Harley Quinn and how they function.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now we're going to spend today talking about the role the Harley Quinn's play within the lore of FortyKa.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the cool thing, we'll start with something called the Black Library.
[SPEAKER_02]: What?
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm setting this up.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we're setting this up.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Black Library.
[SPEAKER_01]: is such a big deal.
[SPEAKER_01]: For one, the Black Library is the name that GW gives to all of their books.
[SPEAKER_02]: Which is actually an example of a failure of Lord of Table Top because I've read the Black Library books.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not as interesting as the Black
[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm saying the black libraries in black library in the game is the is the turtle repository of all knowledge the L.D.
[SPEAKER_02]: are accumulated over sixty million years.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's also Yeah, but I'm saying it's important enough to say that this is what they consider every book that they put out is under the black library
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, it's actually really cool like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's it's it's not like this is this random obscure fact.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, new.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is a big deal.
[SPEAKER_02]: And let's talk about the black library.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so as we say, so elder were the most dominant race in the galaxy for sixty plus million years.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so along the way, they kind of learned a lot of stuff and they find some cool stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you were British or written by the British, what would you do with any and all knowledge and artifacts that you find in your Cummings and goings of the world?
[SPEAKER_02]: simply take every single one of them and claim them as your own and that because you don't want the other people to harm the artifacts or harm themselves with the knowledge of the artifacts.
[SPEAKER_02]: Keep them away.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you got to keep them away.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to hold these here in our British Museum because we don't want you guys doing bad things with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you can just tear them on with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: I will say the British Museum isn't awesome place though.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's it is is it all stolen?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's also really convenient to go to one place and see everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: One tiny island took stuff from all over the world.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Louvre is the one my favorite, so you go to the Louvre and Hammer Abyscode is there.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, I don't think that was here.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's just that piece of like, also you guys were never there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, how did you get this?
[SPEAKER_02]: Is what I'm getting at?
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, clearly they were.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's a piece of like, it's not.
[SPEAKER_02]: At least the British Museum comes from British colonies, mostly.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hammer Abyscode.
[SPEAKER_02]: France was never in the federal crescent.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just bought it on eBay?
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to start a line.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's France.

[SPEAKER_02]: The food's good.
[SPEAKER_02]: So whatever.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so in the last cast, we talked about how the Harley Quinn's function, but now we're talking more about how they're moving the plot along.
[SPEAKER_02]: Namely, it's because just when things look their bleakest, GW loves to do something will then change everything for the better.
[SPEAKER_02]: And a lot of these changes in the most recent portion of the GW plot and arc have been Harley Quinn's.
[SPEAKER_02]: because of the Black Library.
[SPEAKER_02]: And what makes the Black Library so important is the size of it is so astronomical, it's not just a collection.
[SPEAKER_02]: When we've heard the Black Library, it's not a library.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a collection of everything, artifacts, knowledge, even things that people in the Black Library don't know what they are.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, we'll think about the art effects.
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't just mean like relics of old, we mean powerful.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, a couple things in the Black Library, for example, is a literal account of the birth of each of the chaos gods.
[SPEAKER_02]: How they were formed, when they were formed, also, you know, what ruins were present, what powers were present, where this becomes more important is also technically includes knowledge of how to end them.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they also track the waxing and waning of their power.
[SPEAKER_01]: They know that they
[SPEAKER_01]: Certain things make them more powerful.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and this is where it's interesting.
[SPEAKER_02]: So in the black library, the knowledge dugs exist of how to kill a chaos god.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the same knowledge to kill the chaos god is the knowledge to create a chaos god.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is the conundrum of the black library.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because all the information of black library is just that it's just information.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what actions you do with it can change the course of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we talked about Kegarek, this is his thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: He follows, he's just there for fate.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he under his watchful eye, whatever you want to call it is the power to actually end or save the galaxy, but it's the same book.
[SPEAKER_02]: So depending who gets access to it determines every.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's kind of okay with either.
[SPEAKER_02]: So one of the fun ones of the Black Library, by the way, we should mention that is the actual origins of the Emperor of mankind when he was born and every action he took mostly was in action.
[SPEAKER_02]: Detailed breakdowns of the war in heaven, which is a big deal.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is the big one because actually, like in the Black Library is what happened in the old ones.
[SPEAKER_02]: the books of Magnus and Lorgar, not copies, the original?
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, these are cool stories too because they stole both of these from Magnus.
[SPEAKER_02]: Right in front of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Magnus and Lorgar finished writing the book in pen, and then it's a Halloween mic.
[SPEAKER_02]: Peace out, my God, what the hell just happened?
[SPEAKER_02]: What was that little thing that just took my, do you mean my book back?
[SPEAKER_01]: They only do is the sling ring.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just grabs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[SPEAKER_02]: They also do know what happened with the quirk.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there is there is, and it's of how the orcs became what they are today.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Harlequins and Kegarek are the protectors of the library and its knowledge.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is one of the main reasons when the Harlequins appear and begin their plays, everyone listens.
[SPEAKER_02]: They know that the Harlequins are speaking absolute truth.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it may not always come true, but if they're saying, even if they're arguing and they're saying, hey, this is a future, it means that as of right now, this is the future.
[SPEAKER_02]: Could be changed, but you have to make changes to make it happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: The problem, though, is that not all that no of the existence of the Black Library, seek its knowledge, the benefit of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: Conferement?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because innumerable humans have tried to come in.
[SPEAKER_02]: just to get a fraction of the knowledge and have been repelled.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the bigger threat that's come up more recently has been zinech and slenish.
[SPEAKER_02]: Corn doesn't care.
[SPEAKER_02]: And now it is nircle, by the way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them are like whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go to one thing on that because one of the biggest things is they also have a host of true names.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_02]: They can banish a demon instantly by just uttering its true name and they've got all of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: But there's a serious list, which would be gigantic for what's interesting to me is the two gods who care, slenash and zines, slenash.
[SPEAKER_02]: really thought that she doesn't care that much about the library.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's just wanted her name.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she didn't kill anything and everything in it because she has an endless thirst for the souls of the Eldar and there's also an Eldar God hanging out there.
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's just say she would she would like to get access to Black Library.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the real one are Zeanchen Aramon, who ironically are actually diametrically opposed in their desire, but perfectly aligned in the mission.
[SPEAKER_02]: Zeanch wants to gain access to the Black Library, because it actually contains information that Zeanch doesn't want to get out, namely how to defeat Chaos, Zeanch's weaknesses, and Zeanch's plans.
[SPEAKER_01]: and things that have worked against it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Arm on our hand wants access for the Black Library for those exact reasons to use them against the Zege, because as we covered in the Armin cast, Armin hates Zege and wants to destroy Zege.
[SPEAKER_02]: Replace the Zege with himself, but what's the destroy Zege?
[SPEAKER_02]: The good news is for the galaxy, the Black Library is imbedurable.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we have to throw it out there.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can never say black library without talking about some of the roadrunner coyote shit that they did.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just it's just rude.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like the doors right here.
[SPEAKER_02]: You can go right through and he opens door and falls out of the web way.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what he does.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they do.
[SPEAKER_02]: They say, here's a door to the black library.
[SPEAKER_02]: Armin runs over, throws open the door, steps into the black library, and finds himself on the moon.
[SPEAKER_02]: This way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the door closes behind you with a, you know, F.U.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then the door behind him shuts.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's, yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Try again.
[SPEAKER_02]: Should we make the reference to it, bump, bump, bump.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's just the American thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's talk about why the Black Library is so hard to get to.
[SPEAKER_02]: First off, it's completely inside the web way, but not like Kamera, where it's a large structure with multiple access ports in and out.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Black Library is in a hidden pocket of a hidden pocket in the web way.
[SPEAKER_02]: There is no access.
[SPEAKER_02]: The only way to the Black Library is a Harlequin has to basically grab you by the scruff of a neck and drag you the whole way there.
[SPEAKER_02]: There is no map, it's impossible.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go into the thing about that also.
[SPEAKER_01]: Even if you get a harloquin to dry you by the scrub for the neck, the web way has to agree.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: That they want.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not only a web, because the black libraries in the web way, it's a kind of a live.
[SPEAKER_02]: It will attack.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you're having to fight the harloquins and the space that you're standing in, which is not a real space.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it just closed down sections of the web way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go, yeah, no, no, thank you.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it effectively, like, even the normal web way, if it not nailed our enters it, it's almost like the, like, the web way to, like, treats like a bacteria to touch a tacking it.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the web way begins like it will warp into store and basically try to expel the intruders on its own.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Black Library is one that takes a bit further and
[SPEAKER_02]: It's let's just say you're not getting in without the black libraries also put people in their own pocket dimension.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I think you're that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Good luck.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like where am I?
[SPEAKER_02]: No nothing.
[SPEAKER_01]: No where.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: The interesting thing in the black library though is it does occasionally allow people to have access to it.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's a very small fraction of information is granted.
[SPEAKER_02]: And
[SPEAKER_02]: is a very, less is fraction.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like they get to read one sentence of one book, but that sentence is enough to change the course of history.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I also should point out that getting access to black library would require going through like every Harley Quinn and solid there that has ever existed and an elder god.
[SPEAKER_02]: So basically unless you are a chaos god, you're not getting it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It seems hard.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't say the difficulty level is probably good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: But let's talk about when the Harley Quinn's kind of first moved the story along with their arrival in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is actually a while ago.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Harley Quinn's were known only to the elder.
[SPEAKER_02]: No one in the rest of the galaxy had any knowledge of their existence.
[SPEAKER_02]: And prior to the fall, the elder were the most powerful race in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they had no need for allies.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for a while before the fall, before we led into the death cults and all that, four millions of years, Eldar were wild air quotes.
[SPEAKER_01]: The good guys, if you were another Eldar, Eldar didn't really have any
[SPEAKER_01]: fighting amongst other Eldar.
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: They were shitty to not Eldar.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's why it's who no one has any record.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the truth, like, all the records humanity has of the Eldar have been told to them by the Eldar post fall.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because what happens is the Eldar met humanity and went, well, you guys are going to make this all out worse.
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's give you a bunch of information of stuff not to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then humanity correctly called them out on didn't you do every single one of these things you're telling us not to do?
[SPEAKER_01]: Raise your hand if you created a dark God.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, fine.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, fine.
[SPEAKER_02]: We did that, but no more talking, Eldar.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what happens, it's interesting to me that after the fall, the Eldar split into fragments and they're not even aware of who and what survived because as we said, like, ninety plus percent of the Eldar were consumed by Sloan Ashillong with almost all their gone.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was instant.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I want to make sure everybody realizes in the fall.
[SPEAKER_01]: This wasn't like slenish hunted down.
[SPEAKER_01]: No slenish broke the sky in its birth and killed ninety percent of the other race, which was
[SPEAKER_02]: trillion so that it's a post fall the elder trying to figure out who's alive who's not the craft world's began making contact with each other obviously.
[SPEAKER_02]: They were aware of the jukari because the jukari at this point still hadn't met at the web by the jukari were were in
[SPEAKER_02]: Suddenly an M-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d
[SPEAKER_02]: Instantly out of a web way portal, a horde of harloquins burst out, kill all the demons, and then they drop their calling card and do stuff and do stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is the first time the harloquins.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this was massive because for the Eldar, they now know the harloquins are alive, which then begins the question we'll say.
[SPEAKER_02]: We didn't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's all I mean, wait, it's Kegarek alive because at, you know, we're three thousand years post.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're aware all their gods are dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they didn't, not all for the turns out, but in hell there have been doing full, at this point in time, survival mode.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not even just planning mode, figure it out who the hell is even left.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is a massive change for the, the Eldarque is now they know some of us did survive.
[SPEAKER_02]: They can't contact the Harley Quinn's, but you know, they begin the process of trying to name me up, namely Eldred.
[SPEAKER_02]: A couple thousand years later, the same thing happens in the dark city.

[SPEAKER_02]: So the very edge of the galaxy, there's an elder exidite, we're being persecuted, basically, by K.S.
[SPEAKER_02]: Warband, devoted to Nervole.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know where the skies opened and Harlequins with jukari witch cult came play out and this is no ever seen this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know I've never seen this, but also it's the full witch cult, which is a huge deal.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they fought together, defeated the chaos forces and returned back.
[SPEAKER_02]: So not a raid, normally when witch cult arrived, the witch cult came and fought
[SPEAKER_02]: took no slaves and laughed out.
[SPEAKER_02]: It did no pain from suffering, nothing jukari related.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just saved an elder exidite world.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is massive.
[SPEAKER_02]: It starts happening all around the galaxy, not commonly, but, you know, occasionally, where the Harley Quinn's are showing up with jukari, with elder.
[SPEAKER_02]: And everyone begins trying to figure out what their motivation is.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the truth is, is that the focus is to return the galaxy from destruction.
[SPEAKER_02]: I will say one funny note on them is AdMek.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, they're not big hands.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm back in the heart because don't get along very well.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, the admec have a tendency to play with artifacts and open and play with any artifact they find.
[SPEAKER_02]: No matter how heretical it might be or how many warning wounds were placed on it in every language possible.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we pretty common story throughout Harley Quinn history is a group of imperial forces are excavating some ancient site when they're just suddenly attacked by Harley Quinn forces kills them down to a man.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's done to prevent the imperial forces from unleashing like a new chaos god, basically.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about this for just a second on a side note.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why are there, it's not even Pandora's boxes.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's Pandora's boxes XL.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, it is family size element.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the question is, so the harloquins are aware of where every Pandora's box is in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: And at no point, as anyone said, we should pick those things up and destroy them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll just take them in the black library.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just put them somewhere else.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're always just sitting there on a rock, which is like a mess that says, don't open.

[SPEAKER_02]: What's fun about them, though, is that no one knows the motivation behind a Harley Quinn interaction until much later.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Harley Quinn's might appears suddenly between the forces of chaos and another foe.
[SPEAKER_02]: They'll help the other foe defeat the force of chaos and then kill that foe.
[SPEAKER_02]: Routinely, and it's because the Harley Quinn's are trying to push forward some sort of narrative in these things.
[SPEAKER_02]: always kill chaos first, but also make sure that the narrative gets different.
[SPEAKER_01]: In a lot of times, they all they want to do is kill a potential.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, great leader of chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is because in my mind, the harloquins are focused on
[SPEAKER_02]: moving the path forward of the galaxy to success.
[SPEAKER_02]: And usually they don't need to do massive amounts of damage to do that.
[SPEAKER_02]: They don't have to go and wipe out like an entire system.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just have to wipe out the hundred people who are going to upend that system.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they also do other things too because there's also stories where they attack an imperial outpost just so the imperial
[SPEAKER_01]: fortifies the position that chaos is going to attack later on.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, actually, I'll give you a really good one.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is one I liked a lot of think this is ninth edition codex.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the high fleet was threatening an imparogen agri world.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not a large highly, it's more likely out of for no reason.
[SPEAKER_02]: The harloquins appear in force and destroy, maybe it's actually a really cool battle.
[SPEAKER_02]: They go through when they kill off all the commanders and high athletes.
[SPEAKER_02]: So all the high tyrants, they all just they kill them first, which then turns, affects, they turns off the sign apps and then they just mop up the rest of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then as they're leaving the planet, they take a little detour and blow up all the terraformers in the planet, turning the agri world into a death world.
[SPEAKER_02]: At this point, the high-fleet leaves because there's no value, the biosphere is collapsing, so nothing for them to eat there, and all the people there die.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the reason they did that was because one of the key web way gates of the area was there and the elder didn't want the tyrannids present on one of their web ways.
[SPEAKER_02]: Can they be a bummer if you're an imperial citizen?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're safe.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is like as you're blowing up a terraformer apparently does it's not a quick process for the planet to fall apart as kind of I took from that one.
[SPEAKER_02]: Other times though, their motivations are a lot less clear.
[SPEAKER_02]: This one's funny.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they, the Harley Quinn's for no apparent reason, attacked an imperial defense force.
[SPEAKER_02]: And just, all I did was even fight through all these blew up all the defenses and left.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then a Necron dynasty fleet arrives in orbit like two weeks later.
[SPEAKER_02]: No one knows why.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because apparently, in order to help the galaxy, the Necrons had to conquer that world.
[SPEAKER_01]: with the big thing is sometimes they're just alerting.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So like, hey, we know if we chash this, that you'll start fortifying this.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Or we the net crowns will do a better job of fighting off with coming than you will.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, to be fair.
[SPEAKER_02]: But not wrong.
[SPEAKER_01]: Necrons are just better at fighting chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pylons everything else again.
[SPEAKER_01]: They thought they could just close the roof.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like, oh, it's the chaos keep coming.

[SPEAKER_02]: The way not to have the Harley Quinn's though, it's always moving the lower.

[SPEAKER_02]: If I walk, if I go to a river and I drop a rock in the river, it doesn't appear to do much.
[SPEAKER_02]: But as I keep adding more rocks and more rocks, I will eventually divert the flow just a little bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: And over time, by diverting that flow a small amount is catastrophic.
[SPEAKER_02]: You can change entire landscape with that.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what kind of it takes us into Harley Quinn's in the first millennia.
[SPEAKER_02]: One thing they've done a really bad job of, and I'm sorry, is discussing what chaos has been doing over the last ten thousand years, mostly how much grown.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the time the great crusade, the gods of chaos were all powerful beings, but it was a fraction of the power that they have now.
[SPEAKER_02]: The events of the Horace Heresy was an incredible boom to their power.
[SPEAKER_02]: So about two and a half trillion dead, and it's, by the way, that's what GW says.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's way more than that when you actually do the math of like, well, there's planets with one trillion people on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're fighting over millions of worlds.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think the Necromando world might have a trillion people.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, yes, it's a lot more than that.
[SPEAKER_02]: This blew up Nurgle and Corn.
[SPEAKER_02]: So all that death they are doing well.
[SPEAKER_02]: But then the recovery of the Horace Harris, he's a massive boost for Zeeanch and Slenech, because Slenech had the Emperor's children known for get, which were the largest and most powerful, like, Legion of the Time.
[SPEAKER_02]: So she's getting powered up as they're just doing their stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then Zeeanch,
[SPEAKER_02]: is just able to, by the way, the whole galaxy sucks.
[SPEAKER_02]: How would you like to have impossible knowledge or information or any of those things, or just be lifted outside of your terrible, terrible existence?
[SPEAKER_02]: And that was just the horse heresy.
[SPEAKER_02]: So over the next ten thousand years, you've got Abonans Crusade, destroy your plagues, though.
[SPEAKER_02]: imperial cults, hive cities.
[SPEAKER_02]: The immaturium has been getting fed for the last ten thousand years with just absolute raw power and the gods are also juicing.
[SPEAKER_01]: The thing is, after the horseracee, we still grew wildly larger in population of humans and who are
[SPEAKER_01]: wildly wrecking.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're really going to feed a chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so one of my biggest complaints of the Forty K. University and Laura is that there are no good factions.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: There were, there were for a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the, you're least favorite fact.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I still think there is though.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think, I think it's the Harley Quinn.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's also probably one of those I like them so much because everyone, everyone else is selfish or mysterious.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like the Tao were almost good, but then they made the ethereal, the whole thing with the ethereals.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they're bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I, I'm going to go out in the lima.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Harley Quinn's, they're super mysterious.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that they're good.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Harley Quinn's genuinely are trying to, because their motivation, the elder are motivated to save the elder race, the Drew Carrier.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the craft world's now
[SPEAKER_01]: are super cool and honorable, if you're elder.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is they will do bad shit.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it also, my thing is the elder to me and we'll get to the inario time, but the elder to me are in it to save the elder.
[SPEAKER_01]: Where the elder to see back is.
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't care if all of the elder died.
[SPEAKER_02]: The longest chaos is correct.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why I think, I'll give you that.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the hardquins are the only good guys in the Forty Kay galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: and on the table top.
[SPEAKER_02]: Bring me back my old rules.

[SPEAKER_02]: They're the good guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: So as a timeline has crept closer to M-IV won, the plot of the F-IVK universe has become more focused on chaos than ever.

[SPEAKER_02]: Necrontaur moods, orkwa, the forces of the living are being stretched really, really thin, and this opened the door for a greater chaos incursion to the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: And what you saw is, as we got in M-IV-I, more and more worlds going dark, not just from slaughter of the population from invasion, but also rituals from within.
[SPEAKER_02]: Chaos cults are rising up.
[SPEAKER_02]: The chaos gods are powering up.
[SPEAKER_01]: with the Imperium became a shitty and shitty or place to live because it was so built on war economy.
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're part of the cog where we talked about, we did the whole cast on Imperia worlds and how much of a nightmare they are.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man, that's pretty easy to go to cast.

[SPEAKER_02]: So as the events of the galaxy have unfolded to make the fate of the galaxy more believable, whatever you want to call it, like more concrete, more and more of these chains fall off until finally it happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the last chain fell off and the book opened and the custodians of the Black Library were able to read it.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so let's talk about this home of knowledge.
[SPEAKER_02]: And more importantly, let's talk about, I can this sort of run a dundra.
[SPEAKER_02]: So as the crystal tone opens, it reveals that run a dundra is not the only path to ending chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: Ronodondra for those who didn't listen to the Eldar cast or forgotten it is an Eldar, you know, myth about the future.
[SPEAKER_02]: Ronodondra is the entirety of the galaxy goes to battle.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's right, correct.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, with chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's right, you're right.
[SPEAKER_02]: And in the end, every one of the galaxy dies, but in their death, they bring the imitarian with them, and they do a full reset of the galaxy, also known as Age of Sigma.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what they did.
[SPEAKER_02]: However, when the Crystal Tom opened, it showed alternative path.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this path is believed to be written by Kegarek himself shows that the Eldar actually can triumph over a slenash.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Eldar can rise up and killing one god.
[SPEAKER_02]: They will then move on to the other one.
[SPEAKER_02]: So in this story, Kegarek and Slenash will engage in, like, conflict, not a direct battle, just conflict.
[SPEAKER_02]: Kegarek will trick Slennash into expanding all of her energies into accidentally saving and restoring the elders.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Kegarek doesn't slay Slennash.
[SPEAKER_02]: Kegarek has Slennash slay herself.
[SPEAKER_02]: And by accident, saving the elders.
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know it's just laying her specifically, but he was stealing the power of all the elders, souls back, which went
[SPEAKER_01]: It's pretty old on the fact that they don't say whether it just kills Sinash for what it's depowers Sinash by stealing all her power.
[SPEAKER_02]: All the stolen souls, which are her power.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so the Harlequin don't really know how to make these events come to pass, but they understand.
[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, they don't have the full roadmap, but every time an event comes to pass, that's on the roadmap, they are aware.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is what they're now doing.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're now doing all they can to move this process along.
[SPEAKER_02]: So in order to the Kegreck, we'll need an LDR United and more powerful than ever.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going to do two stories that are actually out of order, but it'll make sense why in the end, because I don't like how GW wrote it.
[SPEAKER_02]: So just candidly.
[SPEAKER_02]: So around, you know, ninety nine nine nine nine of them, forty one.

[SPEAKER_02]: If Vect didn't say, yes, it doesn't happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is not having more Marchu-Carry or leaving and joining your frame, or followers.
[SPEAKER_02]: So to stop this, Vect launches a shadow war against your frame, or followers.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's always worked for him in the past.
[SPEAKER_02]: He, you know, he does.
[SPEAKER_02]: Vect never does direct conflict.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has unable to do his bidding this way.
[SPEAKER_02]: He can always
[SPEAKER_02]: claim victory, but never has to take responsibility for failure.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, really good deal that you can get by the way.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it didn't work.
[SPEAKER_02]: Every shadow campaign fails.
[SPEAKER_02]: And actually, it leads to more and more recruits going to the inari.
[SPEAKER_02]: To make matters worse, for fact, the events that led to the rise of a Ukraine had created a portal to the immaterial within the dark city.
[SPEAKER_02]: creating the first-ever demonic invasion in the city.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Vect now has to use his forces.
[SPEAKER_02]: Gamer, he's in charge of Gamer.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he has to use his forces to fight the demons of chaos like the gate on Terra.

[SPEAKER_02]: The man Drake's used their dark energy to make sure that nothing was left of Vect.
[SPEAKER_02]: Even more so, because that's what I love about Vect.
[SPEAKER_02]: Vect over the years had like cut pieces.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think like his fingers off.
[SPEAKER_02]: And spread his fingers, and always a little piece of his body all around into hidden areas all around.
[SPEAKER_02]: Just in case someone did kill him and destroy his body.
[SPEAKER_02]: His Hamakulai could go and pick up one of these pieces and grow him back from his pinky finger.
[SPEAKER_02]: The mandrakes found all of those destroyed them all.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that was dead.
[SPEAKER_02]: I should have said that with a lot more energy.
[SPEAKER_02]: By the way, I realized that.

[SPEAKER_02]: This was meant to honor Vekt, as well as set the stage for a new leader to emerge amongst the Joukari.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they have it, this greater arena called the Nexus, and all the Joukari who can attend attend.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's all the nobility, everyone is there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because some who were loyal to Vector kind of said, others came just to learn laugh at his death.
[SPEAKER_02]: But in the vast majority, we're just there to see, well, who's taking
[SPEAKER_02]: what's going to go down the performance is moving it's and as it reaches its giant crescendo the air and the entire arena changes as a powerful hallucinogen has been released.
[SPEAKER_02]: at the same time, all the exits disappear.
[SPEAKER_02]: Not our block.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was just the same.

[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't really fully fit in elder mythology, but it is

[SPEAKER_02]: So as we said before, the Harley Quinn's appear all on Eldar Civilizations, dark cities, craft roads, exudites, course air fleets.
[SPEAKER_02]: And when they're there, they perform their plays displaying both the history of the Eldar, as well as the feats of the future.
[SPEAKER_02]: But randomly, a new play of a emerges from nowhere.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this new play has a character, the God of death you need.
[SPEAKER_02]: No one knows who this God of death you need is, but the Harlequins are talking about it, so time to pay attention.
[SPEAKER_02]: is she is and the the cool thing about it is even in the play.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not clear intentionally is you need a savior.
[SPEAKER_02]: Is she a liar or is she a useless distraction.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to tell because.

[SPEAKER_02]: And these performances were such high interest to the elder and the craft roads that drew incredible crowds, basically occupying the entire attention of entire fleets of ships while these events were going on, which is a great distraction for what's going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now we're going to even further back to M. thirty one when on a how your born is an elder but little l dread of wolf run is a a little baby elder I don't know what baby it looks like.

[SPEAKER_02]: And Elgrade's big thing was once he became a far seer, he's focused was on unraveling the mysteries that the galaxy primarily helping the save the Eldar from the current path of very slow extinction.
[SPEAKER_02]: Some point we don't know when during this process, Eldrade noticed a very strange sound coming from inside the infinity circuits.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was like the deep heartbeat of like that of a slumbering dragon that was sitting inside of the infinity circuits.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's unknown if he actually ever went all the way to the Black Library, but it's one hundred percent likely that he went to the Black Library.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a, they don't completely go there, but he came away with knowledge that's only in the Black Library.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's only the Black Library about how to create a God.
[SPEAKER_02]: And thanks to, you know, a now discontinued Elec Night Spear, B-G-W-Porn, one out for both him and the garage.

[SPEAKER_02]: And the moon is covered in white sand.
[SPEAKER_02]: That turns out not to be sand, but actually the remains of millions of dead Eldar.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that that dusted by the birth of.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but not like they've been cremated.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's their psychic entities because, you know, where Magnus got shattered, uh, King got shattered.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is tiny, minuscule shards of the psychic entities of dead Eldar that occurred when Sloan Ash was born because this moon is just on the outside of the eye of terror because everything's just on the outside of the eye of terror and in Forty K. Lord.
[SPEAKER_02]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, it creates what looks to be a sea of shimmering crystals that just full of psychic energy.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, Eldrade knew that this moon could be used as a catalyst to birth a new god.
[SPEAKER_02]: He should have pumped enough energy into it.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, that's our eloquence.
[SPEAKER_02]: Eldrade partners with the mask of the midnight sorrow.
[SPEAKER_02]: to do something, and this something was this.
[SPEAKER_02]: As the Harley Quinn's were performing these plays and all the craft worlds, Eldrade was able to then use the distraction to reach into the infinity circuits and link them together.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is crazy, dangerous, by the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a terrible idea.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, this is, I'm a huge Eldrade fan, but this was like, bro, what are you doing?
[SPEAKER_02]: The Eldrade created a link between the infinity circuits of craft worlds.
[SPEAKER_02]: These are like an cross galaxy craft worlds.
[SPEAKER_02]: and creates a link.
[SPEAKER_02]: This link could allow slenesh into the infinity circuits, which is the only thing keeping all L.R.
[SPEAKER_01]: souls from the delicious dinner table of slenesh.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, luckily, Eldrade and just like Gilliman ever never makes a mistake.
[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not my fault.
[SPEAKER_02]: Gilliman's always right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Just this.
[SPEAKER_02]: So supported by the, it's hard to win allies.
[SPEAKER_02]: Eldrade begins the ritual in the moon.
[SPEAKER_02]: We cover this in the elder cast briefly.
[SPEAKER_02]: It went a little a ride by a little a ride.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, for what, for some stupid reason, they pissed off a bunch of death watch, who showed up and blew the whole ritual up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which, which is crazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: These guys just show up and you're like, we're totally helping you or they're about to.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're about to help, but they also just blew up a planet for no reason.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the ritual and there are some bad things that did happen, but yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: This create the ritual gets obviously cut a little bit short by the death watch, but it does still wake the god of death.
[SPEAKER_02]: It just doesn't infuse her with enough power to gain false sentience and power yet.
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you're wondering why we're going to break right there, it's because you don't play older.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're going to take up, we're going to stop right here because next week, we're going to pick up exactly at this point and tell the story of the scenario.
