It’s A Bigfoot, Andy! - My Bigfoot Sighting Episode 102
Tonight’s guest, Matthew Maxcy, had his first Bigfoot sighting in January of 2000. At the time, he was driving back home, from Tennessee to Maine, to visit with his family. He had a friend of his, Andy, in the car with him. There had been a heavy snow in Maine, so the trees and landscape were blanketed with snow. Due to all of the snow on the pine trees that bordered the road they were on, from time to time, they’d see clumps of snow slough off branches here and there. As they were coming over a bridge, entering Maine, Matt noticed movement ahead, on the side of the road. At first, he thought the movement was due to snow sloughing off the bows of another pine tree. As they drew closer, Matt realized that while he had seen snow falling off of a tree, it had been knocked off and he couldn’t believe what had done that.

Are you there, Thanks for tuning in, you're ready for another episode of My big Foot sighting? All right, then let's do this. Seen a bunch of run down now horse towns where the church at the back bone nose and the power and the fostring melodies cove in with the bombman rose, where the roots run deep beyond the noise of the busy streets, with the sons of the South. Or so then when I hear the prom poat picking down home rhythm bringing out I don't run from banjam music. Yeah, my big Foot sightings happened in Maine. My name is Matthew Maxie. So in January two thousand, I was on my way back from Tennessee to Maine. A friend of mine had come along with me. We were coming home back to my place original place of being raised, born and raised with Maine to see my family. It was a overcast day. It was wintertime January. They had had a heavy, heavy snow up here at Maine, and it was ten ten thirty in the morning and it was very overcast, very weird for that day. It was like a fog and we don't normally get like foggy snow days and only something that we see during the summer times. And as we were coming over the bridge entering Maine the state line, you can take different routes, and we took the coaster route. I took the coast throughout because it leads into Augusta and then you can go from Augusta to Bath and all the areas that lead into my hometown of Walterborow. Now, when I got there, we were driving down the straight away and it was it was quiet. You know, it was a three lane road. You couldn't see the other oncoming traffic road either due to the fact that like it was hidden from the woodline. And as we were rounding a bend and I should back up here and let you know, I was driving a nineteen ninety seven Ford Thunderbird and it was pearl white, very clean car, very quiet car. And I honestly think this is the reason that I actually seen what we had seen at that time. It is because it was so quiet and when on the roads you would see that like the windshield kind of blended in from afar with the black car. The way that it looked, you really couldn't see the vehicle at all. Now, when I did this it came around the corner. There was a long straight away and I noticed that there was like snow. You when you get heavy snows on trees and on pine trees or whatever, you'll notice that it like, after a while, it'll start to slope off and it'll slide off the branches, especially when there's been a lot of snow. So I noticed that there was off to my far right, about one hundred and fifty yards i'd see maybe a little bit more that a lot of snow started to fall down off of the branches. I didn't think anything of it at first, and then as we started driving closer, I've seen something start to come out from this tree line. Now, the tree line was all sloped hillside that was on the right of us. It was i'd say twenty maybe fifty foot embankments all the way up, and it was kind of like sloped, and you had the huge pines and main had some really large pines and what I thought was a pine tree, it wasn't a pine tree. It started to step out and I thought it was a moose. So I nudged my buddy Andy and I said, look, Andy, there's a moose. Because like I said, I had been living in Tennessee at that time, and he was from Tennessee and he's never seen a moose. So we're almost like two points. Come into a section here while I'm driving down and I'm starting to slow down, Like if you hit a moose and they'll destroy your car. A lot of people get killed by hitting moose every year. So he's looking, I'm looking expecting to see this moose come walking out. It wasn't a moose. What we saw was just unbelievable out from the wooden line, like just seemed to like materialize out from this the branches and the snow in the background, like was what you only hear and myths and on TV and everything else. It was a sashquatch. It was bigfoot, and I was just blown away. My first thoughts were like, oh my god. And Andy, he's sitting beside me. He's screaming. He's like and I can't say what he's screaming. You know, the words that he's screaming. I can't say that. He was like, what is that? Oh my god, what is that thing? And he's grabbing me. Now we're still driving towards this thing and it's walking down the embankment towards a us like to our to our right side on the passenger side, and like we're I'm slowing down, slowing down, and we literally meet in the middle. Like this thing walks out and it's in the middle lane and it's looking at us, and we're looking at it, and we're stopped and I'm like literally ten fifteen yards from this thing. It's like I still get emotionally just talking about it, because like I like, yeah, it's something that you just don't believe until you see it. And this thing is sitting there looking at us, like kind of hunkering down, looking at me. I'm looking at it, and he's screaming, you know, he's saying, what is that? What is that? And all I could say was it's a it's a big foot, you know, it's a big foot, Andy, And uh this uh thing turns around, it spins around, and it leaps back like takes two huge strides across back across the road. Now this is a three lane highway. These these these lanes are big, you know, like they're not like no small little And it's back up on the middle of the embankment and it sits there and it's looking at me and it's like, you know, it just gave us this look like what are you gonna do? You know, like, whatever you do, make sure you know you're going to go through with it, because it's going to be your last move, you know. And I didn't plan on doing anything, that's for sure. So it walks back up and it stops, and it turns and it looks at us again, and then it turned and then it walked into the into the woodline and just disappeared. Like it was the craziest thing I've ever seen. And the fact that when it I want to describe how this thing looks like when it came out, I originally thought it was a moose just because of like the way the leg came out. This thing was massive. I am talking massive. I honestly thought had to like collect my thoughts when we had seen this, because I was like, are we you know, are we in a movie? Is there something like they filming here? Like there's no way that nobody's filming something right here, because they'd have like people blocking off the roads. Did we drive onto a movie set? You know? What is going on here? Now? I want to describe what we saw this saying, look, I don't know, I see. I'm a hunter, trapper, fisherman, I used to be. I'm I'm gonna be fifty years old this year. In line disease kind of messed me up pretty bad. So I don't spend as much time as I used to out in the woods or I want to. Anybody who's headline disease or know somebody who's at it, they can understand exactly when I'm speaking of. But I want to describe this, this animal, this creature, but I really don't think it's an animal. Anybody's ever seen an Irish setter or a red bone coonhound. That was the color of what this thing looked like. It had longer hair on its arms, a little bit longer hair on its legs down at the lower park. It had just massive muscles. This thing was at least I work with numbers, or I used to work with a lot of pipe. I used to be a pipe fitter, and this thing was at least nine feet I'm being, you know, gracious at saying that, if not ten feet tall, was every bit of nine hundred two thousand pounds. Every bit I've seen black bear, I've seen grizzly bear, tigers lines. I've seen all these things, and this thing wore them. It was like it's honestly, it was like me standing next to my kid when she was five years old, seven years old. It was it was just massive. The shoulders. It was built like i'd say a professional bodybuilder, like or a wrestler. More like a wrestler because they have bulk, but the muscles were ripped. The shoulders were ripped, the arms were ripped, the legs were huge and ripped. The soul or plexes was the only thing that didn't have ripped out muscle. It was more like a rounder solar plex or like those deadlifters get. It was more like that as far as like the rounder framed circular. It didn't have like the six pack abs or anything. But it was all solid muscle. You could tell that the legs and the arms, the arms were longer than like normal, than what would be of a normal you know, human being for its size. They didn't match up. But the legs were big and he was tall, but the arms and the legs and the waist it was weird. It was like his legs were huge too, like his legs and this is no joke. Whereas the calves on this thing's legs were as stick as telephone poles. And I kept saying that to Andy. I was like, look at the size of his legs. Look at the size of his calves, Andy, They're huge. And like when he moved, like you could just see the muscle burn and out of his legs. It was it was insanity in his arms, Like there is no doubt in my mind this thing could pick up a human and just literally tear it human in half, no doubt at all. Like it's the power and just pure immense strength that this thing had was just mind blowing. Aside of the fact of the speed, Like I said, I've seen a lot of wild animals, I've dealt with a lot of wild animals, and I've seen him run, you know, in fear or just be playing around or whatever. And this thing was so fast it was not humanly impossible. I've never seen something moved so fast and so graceful. But for a size in my life the head what I saw, and a lot I hear a lot of people say, you know, it looked like a monkey. To me, it looked like this. The only thing that I say that it looked like a primate. To me was the fact that I had hair all over its body. And I'll say this once, and I've said it twice, I'll say it a thousand more times. What I saw was a giant, like a giant primitive man. Like it looked like he had a he had a really strong jaw, like a really strong, square cut, strong, strong, strong jaw. He had like a really strong forehead, ridge brow, and he had a nose. His nose was wide like I don't know if you ever see like those bold Native American photos, not the bulbous nose, but the how they have like the pointing. I'm actually part Native America too, mic Marck. It was just throwing that in there. But how they have like the wider flat nose like nostrils, but they have like the bulbous end that kind of comes out like a to a point. It looked like that, like if you've ever seen one of the images of Geronimo's nose. He had he kind of had a nose like Geronimo, really flat to the face, wide nostrils, but still had that that that centerpiece that kind of protruded down his mouth was his wide he didn't have his mouth opened at all, but his mouth was wide. You could see that he had like a like a basically a slit for a mouth. He had hair on his face. All of his face had hair except for like basically around the top of the where the your forehead is and where your cheek is right there. And the weirdest thing about it was his skin wasn't black or anything. It was like a like when like you ever seen the movies or like people who turned blue when they're dying or dead or something, or that battleship gray, because that's what it was like. And I think honestly that was because it was so cold outside that it had changed the color of his skin to like blue. That's only thing I can or that battleship gray. And look, he had hair, unkept hair like it kind of reminded me of like chicks in the in the eighties and stuff like that, almost rock stars, but like it had like little spirals coming down, but it was all shaggyish in the back down the sides. He did have hair coming off of his forearms. The rest of his hair was kind of like uniform, almost bear like, which was weird, I thought, because he had like little strands of the shaggy coming off about six to eight inches off of his arms all around it and on the undersides, and then a little bit down on his little legs and stuff. But the rest of it was like perfectly short, looked just like bear for all around him. His eyes. That's the one thing that's really freaked me out, this dude's eyes. Eye. It might have been from the brow ridge in the way that there was no sun out or anything like that at that morning, but his eyes were yet black, like I did not see any whites in his eyes. They were just like black as coal. Like I've heard somebody use a reference of like shark eyes before, and I would honestly say, that's exactly what it looked like, was like shark eyes. And it was scary looking, it really was. Yeah, that's his feet, which was crazy because like when he was running, like doing those strides back up the embankment, I saw the underneath of his feet and I could watch the snow fall off like when he was running up there, off the pads of its feet, and his feet look like if you've ever seen a bear's feet, like a bear or a dog's feet, dog's pad. It looked just like that. That's exactly what it looked like. How they have that padding on their feet, because that's exactly what this guy had. Trying to think of anything else I can think of him, Yeah, that was basically it, other than the fact that we were, you know, extremely just blown away and and it literally we were in a shock, the shock of seeing us because you think that, wait a minute, these things, if they are real, they're not here on the East coast. You know, this is something that you hear about out west. This is something that you hear about, you know, somebody saying that they've seen in California or Oregon or whatever. And that was this here. It was walking out in front of us. And he meant too, if anybody has seen a moose before, then you'll know what I'm speaking up. This thing looked like it could just like break the back of a moose with one blow. Like this thing was his soul powerful. His arms were just looking you can't even fathom it. And I hear people saying, oh, I see in a big foot this, or I see this that, and I'll show a shadow or something like, I'm like, that's not a big foot and if you've ever seen one, you'll know because what I saw was just huge, an adult male, And I do think it was a male just by the I didn't see any male female breasts, and I didn't see any genitalia. I honestly can't say that because I wasn't like looking focused at see if it was mail or not. But you could tell he was male just by the way he was built, with this powerful chest and everything else like that, and just the persona and orror he gave off. It was just like it was. It was definitely male. I'd say whatever it was he was, he was in his prime for sure. There was no doubt about that that thing was built or whatever it wanted to do. Yeah, it was pretty wild. So I we ended up, you know, trying to call when I had gotten back home from us seeing this down to my parents house and stuff. We were telling everybody. People were laugh and you know, it's just back in two thousand and there weren't all these sites and everything. I did notify. I called my local police. I said, hey, man, we saw a big foot up here, and they laughed, you know, So I didn't get anything out of that. Then I looked up to see if I could find somebody on a one eight hundred number, and I called and left the message on that and never got a response, which really really stinks because they had somebody been able to go back out there, they would have seen the tracks and gotten some pretty good tracks out of that, because they were definitely there. And I just wish that somebody else had kind of been on the roadway while that happened at that moment to have seen that too, or maybe they could have seen somebody or known something to do. But yeah, it was pretty pretty amazing. The other thing is this wasn't just my first experience of having this happened so later on in years I ended up getting you know, because I was married living down in Tennessee at that time too, when I had gone back and I ended up getting divorced and coming back home. Now, I didn't think anything, you know, it took me a long time. I'm kind of jumping around here, let me go back. After that happened, I ended up moving back to Maine after a few years later. And what really, you know, messed me up is I'd never excused to go hunting and deer hunting and everything else like that. And when I seen that this was real, that this happened, that these things are real, it totally changed my life. You know, people would laugh and this and that or whatever, but I can honestly tell you I didn't find it funny at all. Like my life changed. I mean, and my bowl hunting, my my turkey hunting, me going fishing, you know, my trapping. I used to run hounds. All that was done, like it and want no part of it. Everything I enjoyed as a kid, like I grew up in the woods like here in Maine. From nine years old, I was out running my own trap lines. I was. You couldn't you couldn't call me like my parents, my grandparents, none of them. Like I was out in the woods. That's all like. And that's what amazes me is I had a few weird experiences when I was younger, and now I look back and I'm like, oh my god, this was them. It's gotta be them. But after this, like I said, after that happened, I said, no, I'm done. So I come from a family of hunters and all that stuff, like I said, and fishermen, and you know they fish off the coast here, you know, professionally too off here of Maine, and they were always trying to get me go back in the woods stuff, and I'm like, no, not doing it. You know, I'd go, I'd always stay close to the truck or you know, real close to the vehicle. I wouldn't wasn't never too far off. Years later I started coming to terms with it. I'm like, all right, you know, because There'll be days I'd go out and I'd drive up to my hunt in the spot and I'd get out and I'd look at the woods and I'd be like, you know, right before sun you know, sunrise, and then I can't do it. I can't do it, you know, and I throw my gear back in the truck and I'd drive back home and they'd be like, what are you doing here? And I'm like, I can't do it. I can't go in here and sit. I'm basically too scared too. You know. It's stolen that from me. So years later, if I happened, i started getting more comfortable. I'm like, this is a once in a lifetime thing that happened to me. Like somebody's seeing the loch Ness monster, you know, or what have you. You know, you saw it once, it's gonna be okay, it'll never happen again. I was wrong. I was wrong. So we're talking about two thousand. The years of two thousand fourteen into sixteen, I started going back hunting again, and I started doing coyote night hunting because we've been having a lot of coyotes here and people are asking me to start taking up the ki because of the deer that they were. They would yard up deer here in our areas deep snows and they were just slaughter, you know. So I'd gotten permission to go into this one area to go deer hunting, and they told me about the coyotes, and we'd noticed a big decline in our dear, huge decline. Everybody was always pulling out every year, you know, there'd be about twenty guys that would go there and they'd all pull out nice bucks, myself included. And we noticed this huge decline of the deer. Nobody could see deer all the areas where the deer trails were come. I knew a lot of those, and you'd only see a couple of them. They were like, what is going on? You know? So we waited and they got a hold of me and I said, yeah, I'll go in. I'll clean them up this January, which is crazy because this is when my other site happened, was in the January, of course. So I grabbed my nephew and I got the Fox Pro Caller and it's got like four hundred and something calls on there, basically every game animal. And it's also got like, you know, distress sounds of all types of animals, from woodpecker, the puppies to re name everything. And we got out there and it was this this night and it had been snowing heavily again, a lot of snow out there, so I could see the deer trails where they were coming through, and there wasn't very many of them at all. We were going around with our spotlight looking and you could just see all the old trails were empty. The ones that you did see you could see two or three different sets of deer coming through and they had just been decimated. We couldn't figure out why, because I've been out there calling, you know, a couple of times prior, and I only had a couple of coyotes coming. Normally you hear them coming from this way and that way, or you'll you'll see, you know, a good amount when the areas filled with them. I didn't see much of anything. So I've got my twelve year old nephew at the time, his name is Brandon, and he was with me, and we got this nice little set up area where you could pull our vehicle down and walk down into these gravel pits areas and slope with these mountains sides, and then it goes into swamp areas. Really really great place to you know, hunt any kind of game. And I set up the collar out there and I had my it's like a fake rabbit that you put on this gyrating wire and it'll move around. So I did the snowshoe, hair and distress call. Now, when we got out there that night, the whole energy was just off. It just felt so weird though, Like seriously, the air felt I don't know if anybody else has felt this almost like electrifying where you could just feel like off. It was just like really off, and my body felt off, like everything just like you could just touch the air and feel it. I thought that was odd. My nephew did too, and we get down there and I set everything up. You know, I think it's like one or two in the morning when we were out there doing this. Hen So I hit the collar snowshoe hair and a sudden I didn't get in my own response. We're sitting and we're sitting there, and I waited about fifteen minutes, and then I hit it again, hit it again, and then all of a sudden, which above me about i'd say a few hundred yards. There's a quarry side to our left, the collars in the middle down at the level of the ground, the mountain side up above us, and all of a sudden, this roar comes, just roaring, like it echoed everything. You just heard this, like I can't even do it. It was so long and so loud, and you can just hear it echoing through the night, like And my nephew looks over me and his face drops white. And I look at him and he's like, what was that? And I was like, you know exactly what that was. And then it does it again, and it's it was more like a The second was like a howling, more like a He freaks out, my nephew, I freak out. I'm like, oh my god, it's happening again. And he's like, I want to go home. Uncle, Man, I want to go home. He's like, I'm not going to get the collar. And I was like, don't worry. I don't worry. You ain't gotta go. And then I know Sooner got that out of mind because we were sitting in my truck up at the top waiting to let you all know where we were while this was happening, watching a callar with our night vision and stuff. And then no Sooner had the other roar stopped in me saying that to my nephew, and you could literally feel this like through the truck, the vibration through me, through him like and this this this was a little ways off a couple hundred yards and say, maybe one hundred fifty two hundred yards away from us, and then out up above us to the top of the hill on the on the left far left side, my left far left side. You heard this other one and there's a call out there that sounds just like these two calls that happened, that roar, and that how somebody caught one from Maine and they put it on on YouTube, and I was like, man, I'd like to know who that was, because I'm wondering if they didn't catch that how of when we were out there hunting, because it sounded identical, except there was the other one behind it, and the next one that come behind it from way up i'd say about at least maybe a thousand yards up. If that not even a thousand yards, i'd say a couple about six or seven maybe eight hundred yards up above it on the mountaintop. You hear this, and it's you can hear it as it's coming closer, and then the other one's roaring and howling, and that one's doing that wild wow, and my nephew and I are looking at he's starting to cry literally, and I hate to put him on blast like that, but you know, if he ever hears this, hell no, it's true. He's like, I want to go home, and I'm fumbling from my keys and I'm trying to turn a trucker. And you can hear this one above and it is sounding like a freight train coming through the woods, just smashing, cracking trees and like branches as it's coming through. And you can hear the ice because the ground the snow was frozen over, so it had like that thick, crusty ice layer on it. People I'm sure who know snow know that when I'm talking about and you can hear like as it was breaking through the ice, as it was like running or whatever, it would go crunch and then you'd hear this pause crunch, and like as it's running, each foot going through crunch paws, crunch paws, and the snap and the branches. So we ended up like leaving everything there for that night, leaving and uh getting back and he's like, I thought you were joking. I didn't think they were real and that kind of like I'll never forget it, you know, I told him. I was like I wasn't kidding your kid, you know, like this really happened to us, and they're real, they're out there. So we ended up like going back to the to the house. I had to leave my gear there. We come back the next morning pick up all this stuff. Can't really you know, you come back the next morning and you don't even realize, you know, you're like sitting there, You're still in a shock because you're like this this really happened again, you know, like this this is crazy, and they're they're here, like they're closer to home. It's just crazy. And I don't even you know, didn't even know what to say. So what I mean, we started telling you don't, family and friends and stuff about it, and I did some research and everything, and I did. I found out that like our town back when it was first created, I guess, the town of Waldboro, which is borderline Warren, this is where this stuff happens, had sightings way back when. There's people who like that's in our town records and it's also online now that you like, they've seen them here. One man down the road had caught one when it was back in the like eighteen hundreds or seventeen hundreds or something like that, that they're they're very common and been known to be around this area, which is just mind blowing to me. Yeah, it's I'm trying to think of all the things, you know, So we're just telling I go around and I'm starting to tell people, you know, I had decide I put it on YouTube, and you know, I had a couple of people interview us or interview me and asking questions and this, and then I had people, you know, calling me and saying, hey, man, you know, I didn't want to tell anybody or anything else like this. You know, and messaging me on Facebook. But I had a sighting over here, and I was on the Old Augusta Road and when I was coming back from a party, this thing come out of the swamp and it chased me. I had to hide in a culvert and the water wait until the next day to get out because I was so scared. I've had people tell me that, you know, and that was he told me this friend of the families. She's like, but it wasn't a big foot. And I was like, well, what do you mean, man? He said this thing. He said he was coming back from a party. There wasn't a lot of houses on that area, and there's a swamp down to the right, and he's walking down the hillside going back to his place. He says, when he gets down there, he hears this how and he thought it was somebody messing with him from the party that had been following him or something. And I was like, well, what did it do. He's like, it was a full moonlight, and I could see the moonlight. How it like you could see everything and so forth, and shadows and this and that, you know how moonlight lights up things. And I was like, yeah, He's like, so I'm walking down and I hear this how and I thought it was somebody messing with me. So I'm standing there and at the bottom of the hill and he's like, then all of a sudden, I hear it again, and I realized, man, that's not a person. I said, well, what happened? He says. So I'm like sitting crouching down and I'm looking up at the hill where the moon is and this thing comes hopping out of the swamp and it's looking for me. And he says it is huge, and I was like hopping. He said, yeah, hopping. I was like, what do you mean. It didn't walk like a human. He's like, no, man, it walked like a human, but it would like hop, it would hop, and I was like, well, what is it man? He's like he's like, it was a werewolf. And I was like what He's like, dude, it was a werewolf. I was like, well, what did you do? And he's like, so it comes flying down the hill, He's like, and there was a culvert at the bottom of the hill. So what I did is I jumped down in the culvert in the water, and I was like up to my neck in the water. And I hid there. I grabbed felt for a stick, so I had a stick and I was holding there all night long. And he's like, man, He's like, dude, I was so scared. He said, I defecated myself and I urinated. Like He's like, I lost all complete control of my bottles. I was like, you're kidding me. He's like, no, I'm not kidding me. And I was like, because I didn't even believe in like the werewolf thing, you know what I mean, Like I was like, all right, well, there could be something there that could have done this or be like that. Maybe they're just mistaking them for big foot or what have you. But it was you know, I've had a couple other people tell me that they've seen it too, and I was, I don't know, you know, I mean, like I definitely don't doubt anybody else's sightings. You know. I kind of wish mine would have been something like that. That would kind of be cool, you know. I mean, like, to see a werewolf is pretty amazing, But there are dog man or whatever you want to call them, but you know, it is what it is. So that's what I've heard from my friends or people telling me. I know there's a couple other out there that I've just can't think right now because I'm on the spot of trying to recall this stuff. My daughter and I another instance that we had. We usually go pick blueberries. And that's why I tell you these things travel the power lines, because all of my sightings have all been within a few mile radius of each other, and they're they're connected by these power lines. And that's how I know that these things are traveling these power lines, because it just doesn't make any sense otherwise. The blueberry fields that we go to pick, I usually harvest blueberries, freeze them every here. I've been doing it since I was a kid. And we were down there and so I went to go check my blueberry spot and then it's got gravel pits there too, which is weird. And uh, I'm sitting there and I look in I see these these like all the area where a normally harvests mind on the edges, they're all gone. It's all eight up, you know, all all the blueberries are missing. And I said, what the heck? So I thought there might have been a bear there, and I was looking around for prints, and then I'm sure as all get out there's these prints. But it's not a bear print, it's it's a big footprints. There's the footprints in the sand which I tried to cast, and I couldn't get a cast of it because the sand kept collapsing in itself. But there was a handprint that had been where it had been in the rain or something, and it had leaned up against the hardened sand part of the of the gravel pit, and you could see where it was leaning and all of its fingerprints were there along with this big white arm, and you could literally see the hairs of the mud where its hairs have been pressed into the mud of the of the of the print. And so I didn't get you know, I got a cast of it. I gave it to my nephew, but I was really looking for hairs and stuff in it too, and I couldn't find anything. But I do have that cast print. So I went back to the house and I got my buddy Nick. I said, man, you know, the big foot been down here at the gravel pit, and he's like, oh, I want to go with you. Let's go cast these prints. When we get down there, and it's just getting about dusk rail at dusk time and dark settling in, and I've got a flashlight, I got the cast in material and where in they're doing it, And all of a sudden, like you can feel something. I was like, do you hear that? He's like what? Because the gravel pit sits lower than where the blueberry field is. It's like deeper down and up above us as the blueberry pit, and you could I heard something like crackling. I thought it might have been dear I said, is that, dear Nick? And he's looking at it. He's like, what is that? And then all of a sudden, like I was like, do you feel that? And you could literally feel the vibration of this thing walking across the field coming towards us, And I was like, what is that? And then all of a sudden, another screen comes out and this huge rock like this was no man could do this. There's a huge pine trees that come up to the that are up above us on the right hand side. This thing had picked up a rock that was the size of a soccer ball, at least the size of a soccer ball, if not a basketball. And we're sitting there and we look at this thing and it rips this thing over us, over where our car is parked, and it hits up top at this pine tree. And I don't know if anybody ever seen those little kids pinball games back in like seventies and stuff when we were kids, how like they have the ball from the top dropped down to each little peg. That's exactly what it looked like. It was like ping pang, But it was breaking branches as it came down, the smaller ones that was going bang crack, you know, branches that are about like a broomstick size and a little bit bigger or busting off as this brock is falling down on him. It was crazy. We jump in the car, were ripping out of there, and he's telling everybody. I'm telling everybody it was just madness. And that's basically what we've seen. My daughter and I my little girl, we were driving the same area. There's these lot of fields, a lot of swamps, a lot of thick woods there. Then you have the opening with the blueberries. You have the travel ways that I know that they're going through the power lines. And as we're driving by, I thought it was a bear and I said, look, Liberty, I said, look, there's a black bear. And it wasn't a bear. Like as we're sitting on that, there's a field and I pull the car off and I'm watching it and it's it's one that's about my size and it's sitting it's like sets up and I'm like, she's like, dad a big foot. And I was like, yeah, it is. And I tried to get my camera out, which it was an iPhone at the time, to zoom in, but they didn't have like the fur far enough zoom, so it looked like like a black blob basically, but you could see it if you wasn't looking through the phone. You could literally see this thing sitting over there. And there was like a log over there. It was at the rate at the base of like where the woods started to go in, and it was like walking around like in this little area, and it was I couldn't explain of like what it was doing before prior, because like it would put its arms out like it was like like how you would like throw your arms up, but your palms are faced down. Like it was going like weird motion, like back and forth, like walking around, and and I was like, what is that thing doing? Man? You know, She's like I don't know, And then so I kind of figured, I was like, why is it making that motion like that, like almost like you would be shoeing something off, like everything like in the movies, or an old ladies something trying to show off something with her palms are face down, but the backs of her hands are like flowing out words, and I got to think it that thing's probably shoeing off like I think it was shoeing off horseflies, because we get horse flies around these air is and they put a big sting in on you. I don't know if anybody's ever seen horse flies. I'm sure people of the East Coast that they're listeners, they know what worse flies are, and I honestly think that that's what that thing was doing. It was starting to like either shoe out them or the black flies or or whatever. Yeah, those are my experiences and my name is Matthew Maxie and that's what I have to share. Well, that's it for tonight show. If you've had a big Foot siding and would like to be a guest, please go to my Bigfoot Siding dot com and let us know.
