<v Speaker 3>much more. Okay, let's get to it. Let's start with
<v Speaker 3>the emails and let's start with Let's start with K
<v Speaker 3>from Toronto. K says a few observations. I really like
<v Speaker 3>the Charlotte and Lexi team. The birthday segment was great.
<v Speaker 3>Chelsea and her mob are gold in my books, thoroughly
<v Speaker 3>entertaining to my response, I'd say yes, I generally have
<v Speaker 3>liked the Charlotte and Lexi team. I have pointed out
<v Speaker 3>several times now that they kind of need one another
<v Speaker 3>right now Alexa Bliss or Alexi as they're just using
<v Speaker 3>her real name now. They have really not been able
<v Speaker 3>to lock her into some kind of story that we
<v Speaker 3>care about. They've brought her back. There was a big reaction.
<v Speaker 3>We thought she was going to join the WIAT six
<v Speaker 3>she didn't and that's okay, she doesn't need to. The
<v Speaker 3>Wye six have their own identity problem, and so Charlotte,
<v Speaker 3>on the other hand, has been a heel that we
<v Speaker 3>have booed forever and just hated every time she returned.
<v Speaker 3>No matter how much time she took off, it didn't matter.
<v Speaker 3>She has been the one exception to the golden rule
<v Speaker 3>of even if you leave as a heel, you can
<v Speaker 3>come back as a babyface. Charlotte is the one exception.
<v Speaker 3>Somehow Charlotte has superseded that golden rule of life where
<v Speaker 3>she takes eighteen months off two years off injury divorces.
<v Speaker 3>You know, you'd think you'd have some sympathy, but through
<v Speaker 3>the fans genuine dislike of her, WWE's constant presentation of
<v Speaker 3>her as some kind of queen that again is not
<v Speaker 3>relatable in any respect from a people. To get to
<v Speaker 3>get us to respond in a favorable way, they have
<v Speaker 3>not presented her very well to be able to do that.
<v Speaker 3>Then you've got this perfect storm of fans don't care
<v Speaker 3>even when you're back after two years. But they found
<v Speaker 3>each other, and this past week was a little weird.
<v Speaker 3>I did not enjoy their little celebration that they had
<v Speaker 3>for Alexa's birthday. I know it was supposed to be comedic,
<v Speaker 3>but it felt forced. The lines didn't land, it felt awkward,
<v Speaker 3>and you know, they had an off night. But generally
<v Speaker 3>I like it and I hope they continue with it.
<v Speaker 3>Now you said you like the birthday segment. Again, I didn't.
<v Speaker 3>But that's that's wrestling. That's you don't have to like
<v Speaker 3>what I like, and I don't expect people to, and
<v Speaker 3>it's more fun when people don't. But Chelsea's group, I
<v Speaker 3>would agree Chelsea's group has been has been useful for
<v Speaker 3>all members involved, and sure that Chelsea has secret service
<v Speaker 3>that that makes sense. With her character, she's still the
<v Speaker 3>butt of a joke, but she's able to do it
<v Speaker 3>in a charming way that people don't hate Chelsea. They
<v Speaker 3>still love her even in a heel role, which I
<v Speaker 3>guess it's kind of contradictory that you're not a heel
<v Speaker 3>to begin with if people are cheering you. But it's
<v Speaker 3>it's a fun dynamic that Chelsea's got. She's got, she's
<v Speaker 3>onto something and I wouldn't touch what she's doing. I
<v Speaker 3>wouldn't for the time being.
<v Speaker 2>Anyway.
<v Speaker 3>Next point, I truly think Drew needs a title run soon.
<v Speaker 3>He's great and in and out of the ring. You're
<v Speaker 3>preaching to the choir. My friend Drew has needed some
<v Speaker 3>kind of major title run or either I don't know
<v Speaker 3>if need. He doesn't need it, He's doing fine without it.
<v Speaker 3>I would say deserve and that means to me he's
<v Speaker 3>earned that, not that he is entitled to it. I
<v Speaker 3>think Drew has absolutely earned a major title run. He
<v Speaker 3>is and has been one of the pillars of the
<v Speaker 3>company for many years. He carried the company through the
<v Speaker 3>COVID Era. Sadly, he first won his title during the
<v Speaker 3>COVID Era with absolutely nobody around, which I genuinely feel
<v Speaker 3>for the guy on that. I've said that for five
<v Speaker 3>years now. But Drew has not yet had that major
<v Speaker 3>title run as a heel since he turned. Since he
<v Speaker 3>turned to this truth telling heel, which has been by
<v Speaker 3>far the best version of him, he has not had
<v Speaker 3>a run and he needs one. Rather sorry again, he
<v Speaker 3>deserves one. He deserves one. Naomi Injury. Don't think this
<v Speaker 3>is a work. I'm glad you brought that up. Okay
<v Speaker 3>from Toronto, which, by the way, I need to go
<v Speaker 3>see to I need to go to two Toronto I've
<v Speaker 3>heard nothing but good things about Toronto, from the people,
<v Speaker 3>to the culture there, to the amount of things you
<v Speaker 3>can do, from food to restaurants and bars and entertainment
<v Speaker 3>and sight seeing. I mean, I just I need to
<v Speaker 3>go see Toronto. I've every time I talk to somebody
<v Speaker 3>that has gone to Toronto, they have nothing but good
<v Speaker 3>things to say. And I'm not blowing smoke up your backside.
<v Speaker 3>That's just what I've been observing from talking to people
<v Speaker 3>about it. So ye, maybe I will venture that way someday,
<v Speaker 3>but I'm glad. Beyond the fact of my weird desire
<v Speaker 3>to go to Toronto, there is something going on with
<v Speaker 3>Naomi and this is not normal.
<v Speaker 2>Okay.
<v Speaker 3>They canceled the match with the Oo Sky Unraw that
<v Speaker 3>was supposed to take place, and that is not something
<v Speaker 3>they would do lightly, especially that they in advance promoted
<v Speaker 3>this match. So something happened between SmackDown and Raw the
<v Speaker 3>last week when they promoted the match didn't happen. Something happened,
<v Speaker 3>all right, And as I do some research here, there
<v Speaker 3>is such a so little about what's going on with Naomi.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know what it is. No one knows. There's
<v Speaker 3>a lot of speculation anything from a severe injury they
<v Speaker 3>weren't aware of to she's pregnant. I've heard everything in between.
<v Speaker 3>So this is according to in a day ago from
<v Speaker 3>Sports Illustrated. Okay, so I'm not blowing this out of
<v Speaker 3>some clickbait site. So this is what they say, and
<v Speaker 3>I'm not going to do story time, but just kind
<v Speaker 3>of give you the high points here. The article says,
<v Speaker 3>why was Naomi held out of action on this week's Raw?
<v Speaker 3>It was another action packed show.
<v Speaker 1>Blah blah blah.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, now me.
<v Speaker 3>It was set to defend her championship against EO Sky,
<v Speaker 3>but WWE announced on social media that Naomi had not
<v Speaker 3>been cleared to compete, and the tweet on x from
<v Speaker 3>the official WWE account said, quote breaking news, Naomi is
<v Speaker 3>not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match
<v Speaker 3>against EO will not take place on Monday Night Raw.
<v Speaker 3>So instead, EO Sky lost to Roxane Perez, which eventually
<v Speaker 3>led to a backstage exchange between Sky and Oscar and
<v Speaker 3>Kyrie that we all saw. But the question is what
<v Speaker 3>is the reason. This is a continuing the article it says,
<v Speaker 3>according to fight Full select details regarding Naomi being out
<v Speaker 3>of action, were kept very quiet backstage and that talent
<v Speaker 3>quote didn't even know what happened with her for WWE
<v Speaker 3>to pull the match. However, the report states that Naomi
<v Speaker 3>was still backstage despite not appearing on screen. WWE sources
<v Speaker 3>were also reportedly happy with the replacement match between Sky
<v Speaker 3>and Perez. There is no right now, there's no return table,
<v Speaker 3>but return timetable. However, the article does say, and this
<v Speaker 3>is the last thing I'll mention on the article, that
<v Speaker 3>Naomi is currently still scheduled to defend the Women's World
<v Speaker 3>Championship against Stephanie viccor on Stephanie or I'm sorry on
<v Speaker 3>August thirty first, at Clash in Paris. So right now
<v Speaker 3>that match is still on. And I guess that would
<v Speaker 3>if that was the case, then if she was pregnant,
<v Speaker 3>well then you know, they would have canceled the match
<v Speaker 3>already and they would have already started to look for
<v Speaker 3>a suitable opponent and vacate the title for Stephanie, who
<v Speaker 3>you know, earned the title match. So I don't think
<v Speaker 3>that it's pregnancy. It's probably my best guess is a concussion.
<v Speaker 3>She suffered a concussion somewhere somehow that we didn't know.
<v Speaker 3>She didn't know, and management became aware of it, and
<v Speaker 3>they have concussion protocol that they take very seriously, and
<v Speaker 3>they kept her out of action. That's my best guess
<v Speaker 3>because if it was the other option of her having
<v Speaker 3>a serious injury, well then you would have again already
<v Speaker 3>vacated the title and she wouldn't be backstage. They would
<v Speaker 3>have had her, you know, be at a doctor's office
<v Speaker 3>getting an MRI and getting a ready for surgery if
<v Speaker 3>it was something serious, so she wouldn't be just lounging backstage.
<v Speaker 3>So that's my guess. Is it is a concussion or
<v Speaker 3>it is some other minor injury that they didn't feel
<v Speaker 3>that they needed to risk her getting it potential more
<v Speaker 3>serious injury. Maybe she has a sprained ankle, shoulder, some joint.
<v Speaker 3>It's always the joint, So that's my guess, but of
<v Speaker 3>course that's my speculation. All Right, we then can go
<v Speaker 3>to the next point here. I think the Vision are great,
<v Speaker 3>especially bron Breaker Total Destruction. I would agree. By the way,
<v Speaker 3>as I've said, the Vision is a great name. That
<v Speaker 3>The Vision is a very fun name. It's it's concise,
<v Speaker 3>it fits with seth Rawlins's character and everything he's been
<v Speaker 3>presenting the last five, six, seven years with this, Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>since he more from the Monday Night Messiah into the visionary,
<v Speaker 3>the revolutionary. Yeah, all the rest. This makes sense and
<v Speaker 3>I have I'm loving everything that they have done so far.
<v Speaker 3>I really am. Lastly, Americano nonsense is getting along in
<v Speaker 3>the tooth in silly time to stop. Thank you, keep
<v Speaker 3>up the good work.
<v Speaker 2>Go Jay's go.
<v Speaker 4>Well.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, to speak on baseball, I think you guys have
<v Speaker 3>probably locked up the Al East. We are sadly hanging
<v Speaker 3>on with barely by a thread, hanging on to the
<v Speaker 3>third wild card, and we can't get out of our
<v Speaker 3>own way. We have, I mean, just completely fallen apart.
<v Speaker 3>You guys seem to be the real deal. It's possible
<v Speaker 3>we meet in the playoffs. Depends on the wild card
<v Speaker 3>situation and if you guys are able to hang on
<v Speaker 3>to it, I know the Red Sox are the real
<v Speaker 3>deal too. The Red Sox have a wild card spot
<v Speaker 3>as well. This could be a very much heavy Al
<v Speaker 3>East playoff scenario this coming October, so it's gonna be fun.
<v Speaker 3>I just hope that as a Yankees fan, we could
<v Speaker 3>even make it in We are just barely hanging on.
<v Speaker 3>But I know there's a lot of MET fans that
<v Speaker 3>listen to this too, and you got you Met fans
<v Speaker 3>are also in the same boat. You guys are barely
<v Speaker 3>hanging on as well, but you have a better chain.
<v Speaker 3>It's like being a division winner than we do. All right,
<v Speaker 3>So the Americano stuff I'm finding it is it's that's
<v Speaker 3>the purpose. It's supposed to be silly. It's supposed to
<v Speaker 3>be a little comedic relief, not to be taken too seriously.
<v Speaker 3>And the show does need something like that. There's always
<v Speaker 3>a spot in the show, in a wrestling show for
<v Speaker 3>a little bit of lighthearted, try not try too hard comedy,
<v Speaker 3>a bit of as Vince McMahon would say, let me
<v Speaker 3>up moments. And Americano is not a bathroom break, but
<v Speaker 3>it's kind of one that again you don't have to
<v Speaker 3>be dialed into. You can just take it for what
<v Speaker 3>it is, which is as silly as you said, little segment. Now,
<v Speaker 3>even these silly segments can more than run their course.
<v Speaker 3>We saw that with the twenty four to seven title.
<v Speaker 3>The twenty four seven title that I mean it overstated
<v Speaker 3>it's welcome by about eighteen months. The twenty four seven
<v Speaker 3>title that it was hilarious to begin with, with how
<v Speaker 3>many places that the title would change hands and the
<v Speaker 3>scenarios in which it would take change hands, and it
<v Speaker 3>was entertaining for a little while, and then it just
<v Speaker 3>became not funny at all and ridiculous and cartoonish. So
<v Speaker 3>is the Americano debacle at that point?
<v Speaker 5>Yet?
<v Speaker 3>I don't think so is it something I really pay
<v Speaker 3>attention to or laugh at, Not particularly. I mean, I
<v Speaker 3>just do it so I know what's going on for
<v Speaker 3>the purposes of this show, and I don't sound stupid,
<v Speaker 3>but I'm not particularly interested in this. I know that
<v Speaker 3>some people are trying to decipher the identity of all
<v Speaker 3>three Americanos, from Chad Gable to Ludwig Kaiser and whoever else,
<v Speaker 3>But is it time to stop? You can make a
<v Speaker 3>case for it again. I don't feel strongly, but I
<v Speaker 3>understand the purpose of these kinds of segments within the
<v Speaker 3>context of a wrestling show. So that's kind of how
<v Speaker 3>I look at it. Thanks, Kay, enjoy Toronto. Let's talk
<v Speaker 3>to DJ. He says it has been official that after
<v Speaker 3>August tenth has come and gone, carrying Cross and his
<v Speaker 3>wife Scarlet are no longer with WWE, there are so
<v Speaker 3>many what could have been and most likely scenarios of
<v Speaker 3>Cross and Scarlett were given a prominent, consistent role. I'm
<v Speaker 3>not surprised this happened to him, even though there was
<v Speaker 3>an organic push for Cross, mostly online with the we
<v Speaker 3>want Cross hashtag. In my opinion, this second run of
<v Speaker 3>Cross in Scarlett and WWE could have been what I
<v Speaker 3>imagined he was in NXT, and that was for him
<v Speaker 3>to be a main event guy and become world Champion
<v Speaker 3>on the main roster, but it was not the case. However,
<v Speaker 3>now that he and Scarlet are no longer in WWE,
<v Speaker 3>it's just a matter of when they will make their
<v Speaker 3>first appearance outside the ring in another promotion after when
<v Speaker 3>their ninety day non compete clause expires. Well Ariel Helwani
<v Speaker 3>Heswani Hawani. He did an interview with Carrying Cross, which
<v Speaker 3>I didn't see all of yet, but he did a
<v Speaker 3>interview that was pretty I mean, it was pretty expansive.
<v Speaker 3>It allowed you to see into what's going on and
<v Speaker 3>from what I understand, again, I really only saw the
<v Speaker 3>first twenty minutes. It's an hour long, but he gets
<v Speaker 3>right to the point and he talks about how this.
<v Speaker 3>First of all, he's got a book out WWE held
<v Speaker 3>up for a couple of years, and he wasn't happy
<v Speaker 3>about that, but he said, essentially, they gave him a
<v Speaker 3>twenty four hour window. They gave him a contract last
<v Speaker 3>second and then said you have twenty four hours to
<v Speaker 3>sign this or we are rescinding the offer, and they
<v Speaker 3>gave him a number which we don't obviously know. I
<v Speaker 3>never will know the number of his contract value is,
<v Speaker 3>and I don't know the term. We don't know those details,
<v Speaker 3>because that's beside the point. The point was that Carrying
<v Speaker 3>Cross said to WWE, Hey, yeah, I can't make an
<v Speaker 3>informed decision on this because number one, twenty four hours
<v Speaker 3>is not enough time to make an informed decision on
<v Speaker 3>a life changing signature that if I put on this
<v Speaker 3>paper will happen. Also, how can you tell me? Can
<v Speaker 3>you tell me how you came up with the figure
<v Speaker 3>on this contract that you did and they would not
<v Speaker 3>provide that to him, which is totally ridiculous. And he said,
<v Speaker 3>it's more than a reasonable to ask for that, and
<v Speaker 3>I absolutely agree if you are going to value a
<v Speaker 3>talent at X amount of dollars, and the talent says, hey,
<v Speaker 3>how did you arrive at this I need to understand
<v Speaker 3>how you so we can come to an agreement or not,
<v Speaker 3>and you don't provide that. That's a bit disrespectful on
<v Speaker 3>the part of the company, not of the part of
<v Speaker 3>carrying a cross. He had more than a reasonable request.
<v Speaker 3>On top of the fact that WWE gave him one
<v Speaker 3>day at the end of his contract, the very last
<v Speaker 3>day to decide. It was very much a pressure pack
<v Speaker 3>situation to try to get him to just sign or
<v Speaker 3>just were out, which tells you that they don't value
<v Speaker 3>carrying cross. So do I think he'll be returned to
<v Speaker 3>tow WWE at some point in his life. Yes, I do,
<v Speaker 3>even he said he still wants to return, but right
<v Speaker 3>now the company has there's just been kind of little contact.
<v Speaker 3>He's not on bad terms, it's just they actually did
<v Speaker 3>rescind the offer because he didn't make a decision. They
<v Speaker 3>rescinded the offer and then that was it. He hasn't
<v Speaker 3>heard anything since, so that's where it's left. Of course,
<v Speaker 3>things could have changed since this interview droped with Ariel,
<v Speaker 3>but I would encourage everybody to go listen to it.
<v Speaker 3>It is also not a work I had speculated others
<v Speaker 3>had as well because of the seth Rolind feigned injury
<v Speaker 3>that this is a potential storyline that Carrying Cross is
<v Speaker 3>trying to start, and this is actually something that's real
<v Speaker 3>but or not real, but they're trying to make it
<v Speaker 3>look real.
<v Speaker 2>It's not.
<v Speaker 3>It is not a work and we got that straight
<v Speaker 3>from the straight from Carrying himself. So yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 3>we'll see what happens. WWE continues to deliver more ples
<v Speaker 3>as part of TKO's revenue generating strategy to stay out
<v Speaker 3>of financial trouble. It was recently reported that the company
<v Speaker 3>plans to bring back Bad Blood for a second consecutive year,
<v Speaker 3>but this time, instead of it's being scheduled for October,
<v Speaker 3>it's now September twenty eighth, at around the same time
<v Speaker 3>that aw will be having their annual pl or pay
<v Speaker 3>per view all out. With all the changes that have
<v Speaker 3>taken place since the merger, do you think that at
<v Speaker 3>times that at times that WWE is trying to cater
<v Speaker 3>more to the mainstream audience with higher incomes when it
<v Speaker 3>comes to ticket prices of the pls and then recently
<v Speaker 3>the announcement of WWE partnering with esp to put the
<v Speaker 3>ples on the espn ZU streaming platform. Not sure what
<v Speaker 3>you mean, but I can just come to the answer regardless.
<v Speaker 3>They're trying to make the most money they can.
<v Speaker 4>That's it.
<v Speaker 3>They are trying to make the most money they can,
<v Speaker 3>going to the outer boundaries of what they think fans
<v Speaker 3>will pay, maybe even crossing over a little to recalibrate
<v Speaker 3>in fans' minds how much they should expect to pay
<v Speaker 3>to go to a live event, especially a televise one
<v Speaker 3>much less a pl E and the amount of pls
<v Speaker 3>we're seeing are ridiculous. They are ridiculous, But it is
<v Speaker 3>clearly coming at the motivation of WWE just trying to
<v Speaker 3>make the most money they can. The hell with the
<v Speaker 3>stories and letting things build and boil. Every two weeks
<v Speaker 3>we're having a pl E. It feels like if you
<v Speaker 3>go three weeks or more, it's like, what's going on?
<v Speaker 3>I really just I mean, I understand their need to
<v Speaker 3>make money. That's what they're in business for. Otherwise they
<v Speaker 3>wouldn't be in business. But there does come a point
<v Speaker 3>of regression there. You know, there's a there's a there's
<v Speaker 3>a law of diminishing return that does exist here and
<v Speaker 3>WWE I think is getting to that point of just
<v Speaker 3>too many fing pls. So all right, let's let's go
<v Speaker 3>to the next point here. I understand that as consumers
<v Speaker 3>of the product, we could choose whether or not to
<v Speaker 3>watch WWE, even though there are all alternative choices, But
<v Speaker 3>at the end of the day, I'm a loyal ww fan.
<v Speaker 5>All right.
<v Speaker 3>One thing I want to mention. It seems like if
<v Speaker 3>you say his name, he'll appear. And I'm not talking
<v Speaker 3>about Joe Henry. I'm talking about Our Truth because apparently
<v Speaker 3>it seems like WWE heard last on last week's episode
<v Speaker 3>of the Mailbag where I mentioned what happened to Truth,
<v Speaker 3>Apparently he's back after being seen in a backstage segment
<v Speaker 3>with a baby face John Cena. Now I'm confused because
<v Speaker 3>a couple of weeks ago, Our Truth was portraying Ron
<v Speaker 3>Killings with the Me against the World persona, and then
<v Speaker 3>all of a sudden in this week's Raw, he was
<v Speaker 3>back to being Our Truth. My issue with this is,
<v Speaker 3>why did WWE push the Ron Killings character only to
<v Speaker 3>have it flopped after he's brief viewed with John Cena.
<v Speaker 3>Doesn't make any sense, No, it doesn't. It doesn't make
<v Speaker 3>any sense. I have no problem with Our Truth being
<v Speaker 3>brought back. I agree with the decision. But what made
<v Speaker 3>fans feel that way was the connection they had to
<v Speaker 3>the existing character, not a character that they wish he
<v Speaker 3>was so that when he gets brought back, he suddenly
<v Speaker 3>cuts his hair off and becomes Me against the World.
<v Speaker 3>Ron Killings. That's not the guy we know and love.
<v Speaker 3>As far as a character, the person Ron Killings is
<v Speaker 3>a genuinely good guy at least from what I see.
<v Speaker 3>But the character on air the kind of aloof the
<v Speaker 3>aloof comedic but good in the ring and just a
<v Speaker 3>genuinely funny guy on the mic. That is the guy
<v Speaker 3>that we wanted back and we got back, but we didn't.
<v Speaker 3>And I hope that this is just a blip on
<v Speaker 3>the radar for Ron Killings as far as just you know,
<v Speaker 3>they're just gonna go back to being our Truth. I mean,
<v Speaker 3>just just give us our truth to me against the
<v Speaker 3>World thing. No, No, I why I don't get that either.
<v Speaker 3>I don't get that either. So hopefully this is a correction,
<v Speaker 3>It's a correct course for really both John Cena and
<v Speaker 3>Our Truth were they just said, yeah, John Cena needs
<v Speaker 3>to go back to being a Babyface and our Ron
<v Speaker 3>Killings needs to go back to just being our truth.
<v Speaker 3>I mean they both kind of at the same time.
<v Speaker 3>Corrected course, hopefully for for Ron Killings, I do I need.
<v Speaker 3>I can't have Ron Killings be that guy. It it's
<v Speaker 3>not a bad character, but it's not the one, certainly
<v Speaker 3>not the one that we wanted or asked for it anyway.
<v Speaker 3>All right, so let's go to our voicemail and let's
<v Speaker 3>see who it is and we'll then close things out.
<v Speaker 3>I think we got a couple, so let's do it.
<v Speaker 5>This is DJ coolesmel Back. Add it again on your mail,
<v Speaker 5>Max Show Records. You live on a Wednesday Board, and
<v Speaker 5>you know what time it is. It's time to see
<v Speaker 5>his name. Man, hepeers.
<v Speaker 2>I believe in Joe Hendry. I believe in Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 5>That's right, folks, Joe Hendry is his name. As I
<v Speaker 5>take it to my fifty seven episode of the Georgia Board,
<v Speaker 5>L like always come into a live from an undisclosal case.
<v Speaker 5>We're just a couple of days away to Teena's next
<v Speaker 5>live event, which is called tena Emergence that'll be happening
<v Speaker 5>Friday this Friday, August fifteenth live from Baltimore, Maryland, and
<v Speaker 5>so far we have seven matches on the card. One
<v Speaker 5>of the matches is for the TNA World Championship in
<v Speaker 5>the midle of it of Trick Williams versus Moose. But
<v Speaker 5>the question is will Joe Hendry have a match for
<v Speaker 5>this card? Let see what happens as we're just a
<v Speaker 5>couple of days away to TEENA emergence. But now let's
<v Speaker 5>take it to a TV taping of ten Prossing from
<v Speaker 5>last week, in which we had in the main event
<v Speaker 5>for the first time ever, Joe Hendry versus Mustafali and
<v Speaker 5>of course Mustafai's group the Order Four were at ringside.
<v Speaker 5>This match lasted fourteen minutes and fifty one seconds. But
<v Speaker 5>as we fast forward to the course of this match,
<v Speaker 5>after when Joe Hendri delivered a cutter to Ali in
<v Speaker 5>the middle of the ring, Henry proceeds to deliver his
<v Speaker 5>standing ovation choke slam. Hendri goes for the cover, but
<v Speaker 5>before the referee could get to the third count for
<v Speaker 5>Joe Henry, Tasha Steles of the Order Four pulls the
<v Speaker 5>referee's left leg, sending the referee face first onto the
<v Speaker 5>ring side floor and so far we don't have a referee.
<v Speaker 5>Hendry then has a brief stare down with Tasha Steeles,
<v Speaker 5>but then from behind we get the tag team the
<v Speaker 5>Great Hands, which of course they're aligned with Mustafa Ali.
<v Speaker 5>They come and double team Joe Hendri to beat down,
<v Speaker 5>setting up Ali to deliver the four fifty splash on
<v Speaker 5>Joe Henry, but Joe Henry moves out the way and
<v Speaker 5>then Henri sends Ali face first into the middle, turn broke. Joe.
<v Speaker 5>Hendry then delivers a pop up power bomb to Ali,
<v Speaker 5>followed by an attitude adjustment to Ali. That's right, folks,
<v Speaker 5>the AA he delivers to Boustaf Ali. Henri goes for
<v Speaker 5>the cover but there's no referee. But however, we do
<v Speaker 5>get a second referee to come in very quickly, but
<v Speaker 5>then Ali kicks out at two. Henri tries to set
<v Speaker 5>up another standing ovation chokes slam to Ali, but Tasha
<v Speaker 5>steals grabs Henri's right leg. Hendri and the referee get distracted,
<v Speaker 5>and then all of a sudden, here is where we
<v Speaker 5>get to the tail end of the match. Hendri turns
<v Speaker 5>to Ali, but Ali tosses him between the ropes. Henri
<v Speaker 5>gets dazed and confals and tumbles outside of the ring,
<v Speaker 5>but then all of a sudden, Agent zero of Mustafa
<v Speaker 5>Ali's group delivers a massive boot Joe Hendry's face, setting
<v Speaker 5>him spiraling. Agent zero dead proceeds to shove Joe Henry
<v Speaker 5>back into the ring, setting up Ali for yet another
<v Speaker 5>four to fifty splash, A beautiful four fifty splash on
<v Speaker 5>Joe Hendry and one two three, and yet again Joe
<v Speaker 5>Hendry loses as Mustafa Ali gets the victory in this match.
<v Speaker 5>Will this be a one off? Will we have a
<v Speaker 5>continuation of this match of Joe Hendry versus Musafali? Most
<v Speaker 5>likely maybe at teen AE Emergence. Let's see what happens.
<v Speaker 5>But I gotta say this is the third straight loss
<v Speaker 5>for Joe Hendry, after of course losing at teen AE Slammiversary. Then,
<v Speaker 5>of course he lost a couple of weeks ago to
<v Speaker 5>mister Mike Santana. Now we're here yet again with another
<v Speaker 5>loss for Joe Henry. However, this past Saturday, August ninth,
<v Speaker 5>somebody said his name and he appeared. Joe Hendry made
<v Speaker 5>an appearance at an NXT live event in Venice Beach, Florida,
<v Speaker 5>and this surprise appearance was courtesy of Brooks Jensen, as
<v Speaker 5>apparently Brooks Jensen and his promo said his name. We
<v Speaker 5>get a brief beatdown of Joe Hendry to Brooks Jensen
<v Speaker 5>and then afterward this is where we get a very
<v Speaker 5>interesting news about where Joe Henry is going in terms
<v Speaker 5>of NXT. After that, Joe Hendry mentions that he'll be
<v Speaker 5>moving to NXT and that yes, he is in his
<v Speaker 5>contract year. But now you're going to see more appearances
<v Speaker 5>of Joe Hendry on NXT. Looking at this, Joe Hendry
<v Speaker 5>is not officially signed to WWE Slash NXT, as he
<v Speaker 5>is still you know, finishing up the remaining months of
<v Speaker 5>his contract with TNA. Now with that being said, let's
<v Speaker 5>see what happens as we get to see more appearances
<v Speaker 5>of Joe Hendry on NXT. And speaking of NXT, he
<v Speaker 5>did have a match against none other than Charles Denzy
<v Speaker 5>on the next episode of NXT, and let's get to
<v Speaker 5>that match, folks, of Joe Henry versus Charles Dempsey. This
<v Speaker 5>match lasted three minutes and fifty six seconds. But prior
<v Speaker 5>to the match, to promote this very match, there was
<v Speaker 5>a video on social media of Ren Sinclair and Charles
<v Speaker 5>Denscy with Joe Hendry as Joe Henry appeared in random
<v Speaker 5>places in the ww Performance Center every time someone said
<v Speaker 5>his name. However, as we fast forward to the course
<v Speaker 5>of this match, after when Joe Hendry delivered a fallaway
<v Speaker 5>slam to Charles Dempsey, Hendry did his usual kip up
<v Speaker 5>and spin for the camera. Hendry then proceeds to deliver
<v Speaker 5>the standing Ovation choke slam, but Dempsey blocks it. Dempsey
<v Speaker 5>then goes for a backslide pin ben Hendry kicks out
<v Speaker 5>at too. Henry then attempts to counter into a backslide
<v Speaker 5>of his own on Charles Dempsey, but Hendry quickly switches
<v Speaker 5>to the standing Ovation choke slam and one, two three,
<v Speaker 5>Joe Henry gets a victory to finally end this three
<v Speaker 5>match losing streak. Let's see what happens next for Joe
<v Speaker 5>Hendry as to continue on NXT and TNA Olways Rebert
<v Speaker 5>to believe say his name, always remember the words that
<v Speaker 5>Joe Hendry says anytime, any place, at any show, and
<v Speaker 5>most simplely, most simporly, ohways, remember to do.
<v Speaker 2>This sight.
<v Speaker 1>Well.
<v Speaker 5>Believe once again, this is your guy. DJ Coolsbo have
<v Speaker 5>a blessed week, be kui to one of those stays
<v Speaker 5>in my friends believe a peace.
<v Speaker 2>DJ.
<v Speaker 3>Thank you, my friend, for keeping us abreast of what
<v Speaker 3>is going on with Joe Hendry. Sounds like he's still
<v Speaker 3>busy over there in TNA and a little bit of
<v Speaker 3>NXT and still crawling his way, crawling his way to
<v Speaker 3>the main roster that we're all anticipating and awaiting. I
<v Speaker 3>do wonder by the time he gets here if his
<v Speaker 3>steam will have kind of fizzled a bit. The reaction
<v Speaker 3>he got in WrestleMania would say otherwise. But he's done
<v Speaker 3>his kind of pop in and outs. I'm ready for
<v Speaker 3>him to just appear. Is there a way that we
<v Speaker 3>can just say his name in a special way where
<v Speaker 3>he'll permanently stay. Uh, But I think this is still
<v Speaker 3>it's good, it's time for it's a good place for
<v Speaker 3>him to still continue to grow and figure out, you know,
<v Speaker 3>maybe some things he wants to add to his persona
<v Speaker 3>or his move set. But yeah, I mean there's really
<v Speaker 3>no risk where he is at now. I mean, he's
<v Speaker 3>in a very comfortable place. He's a big fish in
<v Speaker 3>a small pond, and it's nice to see that he's
<v Speaker 3>still doing well. For those of us that aren't following
<v Speaker 3>the Joe Hendry story, I guess if you are here
<v Speaker 3>then that may be the extent of it if you're
<v Speaker 3>not actually watching it. So thank you, mister DJ Cuzmo. Okay,
<v Speaker 3>let's continue.
<v Speaker 4>He's craffo Paul Tomarso and it's hard about the stiff
<v Speaker 4>to have it. On Monday with the women's division, started
<v Speaker 4>with Naomi I think you know, I don't know. I
<v Speaker 4>think Naomi's doing a podcast with Stephanie and she'll be
<v Speaker 4>doing that. They'll explain a lot. People are say lad
<v Speaker 4>In that she's pregnant, and if so, I don't know
<v Speaker 4>why she ever whatever won the briefcase. If the company
<v Speaker 4>knew she had advertis to become a mothers that really
<v Speaker 4>a well known secret. He's been talking about it. If
<v Speaker 4>you wouldn't saying that she has operations to become another So,
<v Speaker 4>I don't know why she wanted to briefcase. I was
<v Speaker 4>gave given the briefcase to Rocks Fan ultimately or even
<v Speaker 4>Stephanie at the time, or yeah, definitely gives her too,
<v Speaker 4>rox Fan, you know, and then played the first from
<v Speaker 4>that to them, with Luke attaching championships and have rox
<v Speaker 4>Scan cash in you know on EO or and and
<v Speaker 4>or Rhea and then fine and then what and then
<v Speaker 4>they could have gone from there, I would think, So
<v Speaker 4>what they do now? I think if she's they'd have
<v Speaker 4>a really reallygsted championship. If so, then it could be
<v Speaker 4>it was probably like a mini tournament in the water
<v Speaker 4>in the winner of that Natural Faith Stephanie and Class
<v Speaker 4>in Paris for those in those two two episodes of
<v Speaker 4>Raw Pop. Possibly, so, I don't know, So that's that's
<v Speaker 4>an option. So but then when it comes to Asca,
<v Speaker 4>it kind of restained mainly Asca take her turning heel
<v Speaker 4>was going to happen slowly, but they rushed here because
<v Speaker 4>of the of the of the Naomi situ. So ultimately
<v Speaker 4>they don't no one else to blame but themselves have
<v Speaker 4>given the brief kids, and they only knowing her situation,
<v Speaker 4>you know, for knowing her person formally, they knew that
<v Speaker 4>she had aspirations to become a parent, So why did
<v Speaker 4>get her the briefcase? Looking back on it, they shouldn't
<v Speaker 4>have done that, but it is what it is. Maybe
<v Speaker 4>they'll do as a top of mini tournament heading into
<v Speaker 4>class of Paris, and in wonder if, like I said
<v Speaker 4>in winner of that will face Stephanie and class at Paris.
<v Speaker 4>That's my only guests day of how they can handle that. Possibly,
<v Speaker 4>but that's it, and then it can go on from
<v Speaker 4>there for a storyline or a He'll turn whoever is
<v Speaker 4>going to be. But that's what they's want to call by.
<v Speaker 3>Kyle. Yeah, that's certainly a possibility. I mean, the scenario
<v Speaker 3>you're laid out is on the table. I would say
<v Speaker 3>though that we don't know if Naomi's coming back, and
<v Speaker 3>if meaning if she does, we're all just pretending that
<v Speaker 3>maybe they're going to vacate it and like you said,
<v Speaker 3>start a tournament and have this that turn and Oscar
<v Speaker 3>turn Oscar. As I've said here on the show too,
<v Speaker 3>Osca has turned so many times I don't even know.
<v Speaker 3>I have to remember when I see Oscar. Are they
<v Speaker 3>trying to portray her as a heel or a baby face?
<v Speaker 3>Because they've changed her her role so many times over
<v Speaker 3>the years, I can't keep track. And the thing is
<v Speaker 3>compliment to her. She does a great job at both,
<v Speaker 3>so you never kind of know right now she's a
<v Speaker 3>baby face. But based on the teas we saw on
<v Speaker 3>Raw with the tension between the women and the shoving
<v Speaker 3>and all that, it's very possible that this is another
<v Speaker 3>turn for Oscar, which again doesn't mean much because no
<v Speaker 3>one's shocked when Oscar turns. However, if Naomi is going
<v Speaker 3>to keep the championship, and right now she has not
<v Speaker 3>been stripped, WWE has not made any other further announcements,
<v Speaker 3>this could simply not be a pregnancy, or it may
<v Speaker 3>not be a serious injury, could have just been something,
<v Speaker 3>as I said, concussion and related. She's out for a
<v Speaker 3>week or two and they're gonna bring her back and
<v Speaker 3>she'll be ready for clash in Paris with her match
<v Speaker 3>against Stephanie viccor That's a real possibility. Again, if it
<v Speaker 3>was something serious pregnancy or injury related that would keep
<v Speaker 3>her out, they would have already taken the belt off
<v Speaker 3>of her and started a tournament. They would have announced
<v Speaker 3>it on social media, followed up with some announcers talking
<v Speaker 3>about it on Monday Night Raw, and then we'd be off,
<v Speaker 3>and that would be really detrimental to Naomi. Again, if
<v Speaker 3>she wants to be a mom, great being a mother
<v Speaker 3>I think is supersedes becoming a champion in WWE. That's
<v Speaker 3>my own personal take. But if she is going to
<v Speaker 3>stay or not stay rather something is seriously wrong than
<v Speaker 3>I feel for her because she's on a hell of
<v Speaker 3>a run. She deserves that championship. It's been a long
<v Speaker 3>time coming. She's found a character that fits her and
<v Speaker 3>the audience has connected with and I was hopeful for
<v Speaker 3>this run and she's just getting started now. There's no
<v Speaker 3>chance that Stephanie I shouldn't say no, very little chance
<v Speaker 3>that Stephanie Viccor wins the title at Clash in Paris.
<v Speaker 3>It's not zero. She's one of the top prospects in
<v Speaker 3>the company right now. She's one of the blue chippers,
<v Speaker 3>if you will. She's one of the up and comers,
<v Speaker 3>one of the new, latest brand, latest breed of NXT
<v Speaker 3>women to come up, and she's leading the pack on
<v Speaker 3>that latest wave coming in. But right now, Naomi is
<v Speaker 3>still in the prime of her career. She's finally found
<v Speaker 3>herself and I don't think they are ready to take
<v Speaker 3>the belt off of her. So hopefully this is nothing serious.
<v Speaker 3>Hopefully from a selfish fan perspective, it's not pregnancy, it's
<v Speaker 3>not a serious injury that's going to keep her out
<v Speaker 3>and again, if it was either of those things, you
<v Speaker 3>would think by now they would do go, oh yeah,
<v Speaker 3>well we should probably let the fans know and start
<v Speaker 3>moving on with the tournament or a Battle Royal, whatever
<v Speaker 3>they want to do. So all righty, well, thank you
<v Speaker 3>everybody again. Abbreviated show today for sure thirty five minutes
<v Speaker 3>as I record this, so thank you for joining me here.
<v Speaker 3>I hope everybody enjoys their weekend. I'll be back on
<v Speaker 3>Sunday for your week in review. Tomorrow, of course, is
<v Speaker 3>going to be your SmackDown review with Amanda from the
<v Speaker 3>UK who does it every single week. You can check
<v Speaker 3>that out tomorrow usually mid morning or so it's up,
<v Speaker 3>and then Sunday is the weekend review. I've been doing
<v Speaker 3>a lot of nostalgia posts lately because I kind of
<v Speaker 3>miss a lot of those shows. I mean, former hosts
<v Speaker 3>I haven't talked to in a while, and a lot
<v Speaker 3>of those shows are long. I've been posting the longer
<v Speaker 3>shows to show you, hey, we have done longer audio before,
<v Speaker 3>and some of them are over two hours, some of
<v Speaker 3>them two and a half hours. It's just wild with
<v Speaker 3>all the former co hosts we've had come through the show,
<v Speaker 3>so take a listen if you haven't already some of them.
<v Speaker 3>If you see the WWE rewind, or you see the
<v Speaker 3>five years ago, four years ago, three years ago, those
<v Speaker 3>are obviously the ones that I'm talking about, and I've
<v Speaker 3>posted them over the last couple weeks. I encourage you
<v Speaker 3>to take a listen and just put it on in
<v Speaker 3>the background, put your headphones on, do what you gotta do.
<v Speaker 3>That's the way you kind of listen to those. So
<v Speaker 3>all right, everybody, thank you for joining us here on
<v Speaker 3>this Friday. I hope you're all enjoying this day and
<v Speaker 3>have a good weekend. We'll be talking again Sunday night.
<v Speaker 2>Take care.
