<v Speaker 1>Listen is WWE superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to
<v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast.
<v Speaker 2>Show, the one that everybody wants me. So will your
<v Speaker 2>ass is my you can acknowledge me.
<v Speaker 3>The other morning the afternoon the Eadian. Hello, whatever time
<v Speaker 3>it is with you and wherever you are. Thank you
<v Speaker 3>for downloading this SmackDown review as part of the WWE podcast.
<v Speaker 3>As always, it's an absolute pleasure to have you listening along.
<v Speaker 3>And I am Amanda your host of the SmackDown Review
<v Speaker 3>and as you know, I am back on XT. Please
<v Speaker 3>give me a follow. I am at Amanda s D review.
<v Speaker 3>That's Amanda SD review. So Clash in Paris is in
<v Speaker 3>the books, and what did you all think? I actually
<v Speaker 3>thought it was okay that botch in the Becky Nicky
<v Speaker 3>match was an absolute shocker and that was the weakest
<v Speaker 3>match of the night, closely followed by the tag title match.
<v Speaker 3>Apart from those I thought it was okay a raw
<v Speaker 3>this week. The Becky Punk promo was great and I
<v Speaker 3>think we all know who is coming to help out
<v Speaker 3>punk Punk and I say yes. Now, I'm a bit
<v Speaker 3>late getting this week's show done and sent over to
<v Speaker 3>Matt as I've been out today at the football, But
<v Speaker 3>let's get to it and review the SmackDown heed on
<v Speaker 3>the fifth September from Chicago, and we open up with
<v Speaker 3>our arrivals Damian Priest, He's got a match with the
<v Speaker 3>Spooky Wookie Alistair Black, and Mietchen who faces Julia for
<v Speaker 3>the US title, and of course, Hometown Here, her own
<v Speaker 3>punk is here. Cole kicks off tonight, telling us that
<v Speaker 3>him and Graves are the new comms team on SmackDown
<v Speaker 3>for the next few months and tells us that tonight
<v Speaker 3>we will remember Forever. First out, we get Sena to
<v Speaker 3>a very unlikely massive Chicago pop. Usually they would boo him,
<v Speaker 3>but I guess it's his last few shows. All bets
<v Speaker 3>are off and people are genuinely starting to realize that
<v Speaker 3>Sina is going to be no more in WWE in
<v Speaker 3>the next few months. He makes his way to the
<v Speaker 3>ring and after a really really long entrance and plenty
<v Speaker 3>of milk in the crowd, he finally speaks and he
<v Speaker 3>tells the crowd that they've got no idea what the
<v Speaker 3>massive reception and cheers mean coming from the Chicago crowd,
<v Speaker 3>and he thanks them all. He tells them that when
<v Speaker 3>his farewell to it started. Everyone told him to enjoy it,
<v Speaker 3>be pressed, and have fun. He says he was coming
<v Speaker 3>off bad times and he focused on doing good work
<v Speaker 3>and leaving everything in the ring. He says he stands
<v Speaker 3>there tonight with nothing planned, and tonight he just wants
<v Speaker 3>to have fun. He thanks the crowd again for being
<v Speaker 3>with him every stuff of the way and says, tonight
<v Speaker 3>he's just going to take it all in. He then
<v Speaker 3>picks out two guys in the front row who do
<v Speaker 3>not look that into it, and he says years ago,
<v Speaker 3>the whole arena here in Chicago, everybody in it looked
<v Speaker 3>like them and pretty much told him to f off too.
<v Speaker 3>He says, the Chicago crowd bring people back to the
<v Speaker 3>w E and use their voices and we get a
<v Speaker 3>big aj Lee chant, which is the first of many tonight.
<v Speaker 3>He tells everybody that we're in for an exciting night tonight.
<v Speaker 3>He says, this is his last time in Chicago and
<v Speaker 3>his last SmackDown, and I didn't realize it was his
<v Speaker 3>last SmackDown already. That's a bit sad, isn't it. Eve
<v Speaker 3>views it as a beautiful moment as twenty three years
<v Speaker 3>ago they allowed him to walk down the ramp slapker
<v Speaker 3>angle in what has become since then the famous ruthless
<v Speaker 3>aggression segment. He says he has us open challenges in
<v Speaker 3>this building, his face tripolations in at WrestleMania, in this
<v Speaker 3>building and it is a special place. He says there's
<v Speaker 3>an argument backstage where the best crowd is, but in
<v Speaker 3>his mind, there is no argument. He says he's thankful
<v Speaker 3>that they kept him honest and made him always give
<v Speaker 3>his best. Another thank you see the chant breaks out
<v Speaker 3>and he says all he wants to say is thank you.
<v Speaker 3>As he goes to leave, we get Sammy's music kicked
<v Speaker 3>and he makes his way out to the ring. He
<v Speaker 3>says to Sina and by the way, he is getting
<v Speaker 3>seriously booed and I'm not really sure why. So if
<v Speaker 3>anyone can help me out with that, let me know,
<v Speaker 3>hit me up on X. He says he wants to
<v Speaker 3>tell him that seeing him on this tour this year
<v Speaker 3>and says than saying thank you to the fans has
<v Speaker 3>been wonderful. He said it would feel wrong to not
<v Speaker 3>look him in the eye and say thank you from
<v Speaker 3>all the superstars for everything he's done. And also he
<v Speaker 3>wants to say thank you for everything he did for him.
<v Speaker 3>Sammy says he is having a full circle moment as
<v Speaker 3>he debuted in Chicago and Sammy got his big break
<v Speaker 3>against Seen It in Chicago. He says he thinks thinks
<v Speaker 3>us seen as US Title Open Challenge and says that
<v Speaker 3>he wants to pay it forward. He says, we've seen
<v Speaker 3>his permission. He wants to carry it a lot on
<v Speaker 3>and hold the Sammy saying open challenge for the US title.
<v Speaker 3>Sina says, go for it. He thinks has a great
<v Speaker 3>idea and he goes to leave the ring, but before
<v Speaker 3>he can, Sammy stops him and says, let's have a
<v Speaker 3>match tonight for the US title. If tonight is the
<v Speaker 3>last on SmackDown, it would be an honor for him
<v Speaker 3>to fight him. The crowd go nuts as Sammy says,
<v Speaker 3>not next not in a month or next week, Let's
<v Speaker 3>do it right now in Chicago. Seeing the shakes Sammy's
<v Speaker 3>hand and says they are on. We get a referee
<v Speaker 3>and it's on. So in terms of the talking bit,
<v Speaker 3>this was an interesting open opening segment tonight. I enjoyed it.
<v Speaker 3>It was a lot of fluff and yaborin basically for
<v Speaker 3>Sina to say thank you to Chicago. But hey, that's fine.
<v Speaker 3>His last SmackDown already and it's come squeeching around. He
<v Speaker 3>can say what he likes. For me. Love the idea
<v Speaker 3>of Sammy paying it forward and having his own version
<v Speaker 3>of the Open Challenge and having one last match. We've
<v Speaker 3>seen it also, I think is a really nice touch.
<v Speaker 3>We have been told about one hundred times already tonight
<v Speaker 3>and we're about twenty minutes into the show that it's
<v Speaker 3>going to be massive, so I have high hopes. Let's
<v Speaker 3>hope that we're not disappointed. So this match kicks off
<v Speaker 3>and the crowd obviously being very pro Sena and both
<v Speaker 3>guys of course making a great account of themselves. Sina
<v Speaker 3>gets a super close two count after hitting a decent
<v Speaker 3>looking AA and then follows up with another close two count,
<v Speaker 3>and he seems to have the upper hand as they
<v Speaker 3>start to trade blows in the center of the ring.
<v Speaker 3>We then get a double clothesline and both go down.
<v Speaker 3>Simmy hits the Sammy Sorry, he hits the Halluv kick,
<v Speaker 3>getting the cover, but Sena kicks out in two point nine.
<v Speaker 3>Sina hits a GTS and gets another two count. Cover,
<v Speaker 3>then a spear. This is like Sena's tribute to all
<v Speaker 3>his best opponents, and I absolutely love it. I love it.
<v Speaker 3>In Paris we saw him hit the styles clash. This
<v Speaker 3>is just great stuff. From nowhere, we get Brox music
<v Speaker 3>hit and he comes down to the ring. He assaults
<v Speaker 3>the ref, chucking him out of the ring, and then
<v Speaker 3>delivers a F five to Sammy and F five to Sena,
<v Speaker 3>and we've seen the down and Brock then hits him
<v Speaker 3>with another F five and the crowd are booing big
<v Speaker 3>time as Brock gets his cowboy hat on and leaves.
<v Speaker 3>So the match between Sammy and Sena was good. I
<v Speaker 3>really really loved that Sena is using moved from other people.
<v Speaker 3>I think that's a very classy touch. It's kind of
<v Speaker 3>like a tip of the hat to all the people
<v Speaker 3>he's faced over the years. Now, the Brock appearance, you
<v Speaker 3>guys have already given my opinion on that. I think
<v Speaker 3>you know what will be will be, And I'm pretty
<v Speaker 3>sure that TKO wouldn't allow him to be publicly viewed
<v Speaker 3>in this way if they weren't fairly sure that everything
<v Speaker 3>was going to be dropped and ironed out. But that's
<v Speaker 3>just my opinion. I know there's an awful lot of
<v Speaker 3>opinion about it, but you know, it is what it is.
<v Speaker 3>He's back for now. So I've heard that he may
<v Speaker 3>be around via other podcast, news outlets, etc. And that
<v Speaker 3>he would appear, so not too shocking to see him
<v Speaker 3>and the crowd quite funny. I think they feels like
<v Speaker 3>they give a big pop when they hear his music,
<v Speaker 3>and then they remember that they aren't super comfortable with
<v Speaker 3>the whole situation and then kind of hastily boot and
<v Speaker 3>it's kind of go away heat. I feel, maybe not
<v Speaker 3>heal heat. Anyway, I guess this is the official bill
<v Speaker 3>to Sena versus Rock at Russell Paloozer. I don't want
<v Speaker 3>Brock to win. It does seem unlikely that they would
<v Speaker 3>bring him back just to lose. So maybe some kind
<v Speaker 3>of hokey finish introducing Sena's final opponent, and I'm going
<v Speaker 3>to go early mark this date in your diary. I'm
<v Speaker 3>saying that Seena's final opponent, or one of the final
<v Speaker 3>opponents after Brock, is going to be Chris Jericho. There
<v Speaker 3>I said it. Brock leaves going in like a maniac,
<v Speaker 3>and we get a shot of Sena out cold in
<v Speaker 3>the ring. We then go to Nick backstage, who's running
<v Speaker 3>around looking pretty harried. Mello approaches him and Nick tells him,
<v Speaker 3>I don't have time for you. Basically get lost, but
<v Speaker 3>Mello is asking for an opportunity at Sammy's ay. He's
<v Speaker 3>then interrupted by Miss, who wants them to have a
<v Speaker 3>tag title match. Nick says he will take it under advisement,
<v Speaker 3>and Miss and Mello again start bickering about Mello wants
<v Speaker 3>an individual opportunity, Mis wants them to have a joint
<v Speaker 3>opportunity in the tag team division. So let's see what
<v Speaker 3>comes of that. We pan across and we see Becky
<v Speaker 3>Lynch arrive. I wonder what she's doing here? Hmm. I
<v Speaker 3>wonder we have seen Punk, so we wonder who could
<v Speaker 3>he have in his corner. It's a mystery. We now
<v Speaker 3>get a promo from Black, who says he came home
<v Speaker 3>to WWE in the hope that it's changed, but they
<v Speaker 3>haven't changed. He says some random crap about well being
<v Speaker 3>polluted and he wants to purify it or something like that.
<v Speaker 3>He tells Damien that tonight he's standing across from years
<v Speaker 3>of hate that this industry has poured into him. He says,
<v Speaker 3>Damien is who he is because he follows the rules,
<v Speaker 3>and he is who he is because he follows the
<v Speaker 3>rules till he doesn't. A bit weird and that was
<v Speaker 3>a lot of blah blah and didn't really say very
<v Speaker 3>much that we haven't necessarily heard before. Black's return has
<v Speaker 3>been frustratingly rubbish because he is brilliant, wwe seems to
<v Speaker 3>be making all the same mistakes they did in his
<v Speaker 3>last run. Hopefully this match gives him the boost he
<v Speaker 3>deserves and both he and to be honest, Damian Priest
<v Speaker 3>also deserves more. Hopefully they can both get some good
<v Speaker 3>programs out of it. Priest makes his entrance and is
<v Speaker 3>attacked pre bell by Black, but seems to come off
<v Speaker 3>worse at first, but Priest is kicked over the barricade
<v Speaker 3>into the crowd. The official seemed to be trying to
<v Speaker 3>take Priest out of the arena area, but Priest comes
<v Speaker 3>back to the ring looking to get things started, and
<v Speaker 3>I'm not sure if the bell rang it or not.
<v Speaker 3>There's my answer. There's the bell right now, and this
<v Speaker 3>one gets started with Priest looking definitely worse for where
<v Speaker 3>Cold pointing out that Priest is a sitting duck here
<v Speaker 3>as Black is so lethal, which is all fine, but
<v Speaker 3>he hasn't really been an assy anyway. Priest starts to
<v Speaker 3>fight back and things seem to be getting back onto
<v Speaker 3>an even keel. Black hits Black Mass from nowhere, literally nowhere,
<v Speaker 3>like I think, I picked up my phone for about
<v Speaker 3>three seconds and I had to rewind because I thought
<v Speaker 3>I might have missed something. But it literally came from
<v Speaker 3>completely nowhere. Anyway, he gets the victory. The crowd seemed
<v Speaker 3>pretty quiet. Let's be honest. They want two things tonight,
<v Speaker 3>Sena and a j Lee and everything else is probably
<v Speaker 3>viewed as phil which is a shame, but not surprised.
<v Speaker 3>I was tempted to fast forward, but I won't. We
<v Speaker 3>now get a Drew and Randy promo. Drew going on
<v Speaker 3>about telling the truth again, blah blah blah, variations on
<v Speaker 3>the same old theme with Drew. He tells Randy that
<v Speaker 3>he's incapable of pulling the trigger. Randy tells Drew that
<v Speaker 3>he's got no idea what's coming and what the voices
<v Speaker 3>in his head are saying to him. Drew says the
<v Speaker 3>winds have changed, are coming and Randy isn't part of it.
<v Speaker 3>Next week we have them one on one and they
<v Speaker 3>are also advertising Brock for next week two. And we've
<v Speaker 3>also got Tiffy versus Jade again. No, so I'm a
<v Speaker 3>little bit surprised that they haven't put Drew and Randy
<v Speaker 3>on Wrestle Paloozer and perhaps they will. Seems like quite
<v Speaker 3>a massive match to give away as part of a SmackDown,
<v Speaker 3>but maybe there's more to it, let's see. We now
<v Speaker 3>go backstage to Kathy Kelly, who has Tiffy with her,
<v Speaker 3>and she asks her how she responds to Jade saying
<v Speaker 3>that she would have won if Tiffy's foot hadn't been
<v Speaker 3>on the ropes. Tiffy says that she thought she loved
<v Speaker 3>the sound of her voice, but Jade loves to run
<v Speaker 3>her mouth even more. She says, all Jade's talk ends
<v Speaker 3>next week and she won't have to worry about her
<v Speaker 3>foot being on the rope because it will be right
<v Speaker 3>up her eye of the storm. Loved that. I thought
<v Speaker 3>it was really funny Tiffy again. Excellent promo, brilliant timing,
<v Speaker 3>just brilliant. But please, why do we have Jade and
<v Speaker 3>Tiffy again? Please give Tiffy someone new to face. Call
<v Speaker 3>someone up from a next tee, purchase someone from somewhere else,
<v Speaker 3>just do something. Where's Bianca? Anyway? We go to Jade,
<v Speaker 3>who is with Nya. She tells Jade she's lucky to
<v Speaker 3>have a rematch. Finally, something that we can all agree
<v Speaker 3>with Nia Jack's about. She tells her that she didn't
<v Speaker 3>deserve the rematch. Ja tells Nya when she wins her
<v Speaker 3>title back, she can have a shot Jesus rinse and repeat.
<v Speaker 3>Jade wins, Nia beats Jade if he beats Nya and
<v Speaker 3>again and again, come on. Next up, we have the
<v Speaker 3>Woman's US title match again with the crowd you can
<v Speaker 3>feel them through the telly willing it to be over
<v Speaker 3>so they can get far forward themselves to the a
<v Speaker 3>j Lee return. Before the match, we have Becky with Nick.
<v Speaker 3>Nick tells her he wasn't expecting her. She says, of
<v Speaker 3>course not. I invited me. He says, I can't have
<v Speaker 3>any more issues tonight, and she says, I never cause issues.
<v Speaker 3>And now we've got the Julia versus Meechin match, which
<v Speaker 3>is for the US title. From the off, we have
<v Speaker 3>Keana James inexplicably straight up on the apron and chops
<v Speaker 3>in off to the ref and meeching. Meeching doing well
<v Speaker 3>early on, frustrating Julia, but soon enough Julia gets the
<v Speaker 3>upper hand with a sick looking neckbreaker off the apron
<v Speaker 3>to the outside. Julia hits Northern Lights Bomb off the
<v Speaker 3>counter to eat the feet, earning herself a two count
<v Speaker 3>and Julia looking really strong here meeching where they sit
<v Speaker 3>out power bomb gets the cover of her own and
<v Speaker 3>now a very weird random in search of Keana James
<v Speaker 3>with a weird looking move into the ring through the ropes,
<v Speaker 3>leading to Julia hitting the ara of a dirty and
<v Speaker 3>gets the win. After the match, Keana James wighs in
<v Speaker 3>on meechin and that's got to be it for mechin
<v Speaker 3>in the US title picture. Now, surely I've got the
<v Speaker 3>vibe that this was hastily brought to a close. I
<v Speaker 3>feel like they moved from match to end of match
<v Speaker 3>to Keana James coming through the ropes. Things was obviously
<v Speaker 3>how they were planning to end it. But I didn't
<v Speaker 3>get the time stamp on how long the match was,
<v Speaker 3>but it certainly had the feeling that it was cut short.
<v Speaker 3>What did you guys think? It didn't feel like a
<v Speaker 3>very complete package, I do. I am getting a bit
<v Speaker 3>of a worry like other people on other podcasts and
<v Speaker 3>other news outlets were worried about introducing two new belts
<v Speaker 3>into the woman's picture when we did. I think the
<v Speaker 3>Intercontinental belt is holding its own. I think, you know,
<v Speaker 3>the people that have held that and currently with Becky
<v Speaker 3>is good. It's been booked quite well. I feel like
<v Speaker 3>the US title on the women's side has not been
<v Speaker 3>booked quite as well and doesn't look as strong as
<v Speaker 3>a result of that, So I think they need to
<v Speaker 3>readdress that. Really happy with it being on Julia, but
<v Speaker 3>I think she needs some different people to face outside Slida,
<v Speaker 3>Vega and Meeching. Have we had anyone else recently, not
<v Speaker 3>that I can think of. So let's just hope, hope
<v Speaker 3>that we can get some momentum going on the US
<v Speaker 3>title as they have done with the Intercontinental. We get
<v Speaker 3>a recap of last week's events, leading to Flair getting
<v Speaker 3>attacked and taken out of the tag title match against
<v Speaker 3>the Secret Hervist. We then go to Flair backstage, feeling
<v Speaker 3>very sorry for ourselves and saying that nothing ever goes
<v Speaker 3>right for her in this city. Bliss Peers and Flair
<v Speaker 3>tells her she needs a real doctor so she can
<v Speaker 3>get clear. Funny moment here Bliss Bliss has a stethostope
<v Speaker 3>on Flair's on Flair's heart, and she kids on that
<v Speaker 3>she can't find it. Flair says, don't worry, I have one.
<v Speaker 3>It's in there somewhere. Just just a funny, little sort
<v Speaker 3>of throwaway remark which I think is helping keeping Flair over.
<v Speaker 3>Bliss says they will get their revenge on Secret Hervist,
<v Speaker 3>but in the meantime she has to let the power
<v Speaker 3>of friendship he or her pain. Bit lame, but still
<v Speaker 3>totally loving these two. I hope they beat the p
<v Speaker 3>out of the Secret hervis and carry on with their
<v Speaker 3>title run, which I think is brilliant. And now we
<v Speaker 3>are moving towards the business end of the show, which
<v Speaker 3>everyone has been waiting for. We get sets music hit
<v Speaker 3>and he comes out, but not down the ramp. Rather,
<v Speaker 3>he comes down into the crowd, into like a box area,
<v Speaker 3>he says, Chicago, and that's all he gets out. He
<v Speaker 3>gets massive booze. He says, Tonight, we are all witness
<v Speaker 3>to history as CM Punk's legacy dies right here, right now.
<v Speaker 3>He says, to do the honors. He wants to introduce
<v Speaker 3>the greatest women's wrestler of all time, and he brings
<v Speaker 3>Becky out, who gets also pretty roundly booed, which I
<v Speaker 3>guess is to be expected in punk town after what
<v Speaker 3>she did on RAW. When she gets to the ring,
<v Speaker 3>they give us a shot of Seth, then her, and
<v Speaker 3>they are wearing matching orange outfits, which is pretty vommy.
<v Speaker 3>I don't like that bit weird. The crowd chant for
<v Speaker 3>aj Lee and Becky kidna on. She must be the
<v Speaker 3>only person who is surprised. She tells the crowd, how
<v Speaker 3>dare you chann't another person's name? While she's in the ring,
<v Speaker 3>she says he's the greatest of all time, and it's
<v Speaker 3>not just her saying it, She says, classic Chicago. She
<v Speaker 3>wouldn't expect them to know what greatness looks like. She
<v Speaker 3>tells them all their sports team sucks. Who tells them
<v Speaker 3>they all suck, and she tells them seeing punk sucks
<v Speaker 3>as well, cute punk's music, and the crowd absolutely lose it.
<v Speaker 3>Seth's waving at him from the crowd like a clown,
<v Speaker 3>but no one's looking at says at this point, literally
<v Speaker 3>all eyes on punk in punk Town. He gets to
<v Speaker 3>the ring apron crowd still totally losing it. He says
<v Speaker 3>to Becky, it's not about her, It's about her coward
<v Speaker 3>of a husband. Becky says she is surprised he has
<v Speaker 3>shown his face tonight and that he isn't embarrassed. He
<v Speaker 3>tells her, no, I'm not the one standing behind Hayman,
<v Speaker 3>standing behind his goons and now standing behind his wife.
<v Speaker 3>She says, how's your face feeling? And how's your pride feeling?
<v Speaker 3>The crowd start chanting again for a j lee, which
<v Speaker 3>is about the millionth time tonight, which is fine by me.
<v Speaker 3>She tells the crowd to shut up, but Punk tells
<v Speaker 3>her that she has to let the crowd cheer for
<v Speaker 3>a j lee. He says, we are in Chicago. Don't
<v Speaker 3>you think I can snap my fingers and have my
<v Speaker 3>sisters jump the barricade and beat you up. Becky says,
<v Speaker 3>bring them all on? Which one is it? I'll take
<v Speaker 3>them all on, she says. He says, don't you think
<v Speaker 3>I could call Bailey and have her come and kick
<v Speaker 3>your ass? Becky says, I've beaten Bailey? Who else she got?
<v Speaker 3>Punk says, don't you think I can call in a
<v Speaker 3>favor to rear Ripley. Becky says, what are you gonna
<v Speaker 3>do about it? She starts slapping Punk again. She tells
<v Speaker 3>him he is pathetic, he's got no one and tells
<v Speaker 3>him to get out of the ring and run away
<v Speaker 3>from his hometown. He said he was never put his
<v Speaker 3>hand on a lady, but he has got someone who has.
<v Speaker 3>And finally, a jay Lee's music hits and out she comes.
<v Speaker 3>She looks fantastic and actually Punk's faith. As she's walking
<v Speaker 3>down the ramp to the ring, he looks genuinely proud,
<v Speaker 3>which is actually quite a sweet moment. Ah, Jesus, I
<v Speaker 3>love a jay Lee. I am pumped for this. Light
<v Speaker 3>it up, Light it up. Becky is looking like she
<v Speaker 3>pooped herself. As I said, did she not look on
<v Speaker 3>X this week? Did she not hear that this was happening.
<v Speaker 3>AJ gets into the ring and the crowd a chant
<v Speaker 3>in holy s. AJ takes out Becky and stops her
<v Speaker 3>from doing a runner. Commentary's telling us after a decade
<v Speaker 3>she's back a decade away. BlimE me. Apparently Punk got
<v Speaker 3>fired from WWWE on his red wedding day and she
<v Speaker 3>carried on working there. I did not know that. I
<v Speaker 3>learned that this week from another wrestling podcast. But she's
<v Speaker 3>been away from a decade and oh my god, look great.
<v Speaker 3>I mean, Finn Bala is in definite danger of losing
<v Speaker 3>best abs in the company because she looks great. She's
<v Speaker 3>handing Becky her ass, Becky legs it. Punk joins AJ
<v Speaker 3>in the ring and the two of them share a
<v Speaker 3>hug while Seth and Becky slink back off up the ramp. So, guys,
<v Speaker 3>AJ is back. Who would have thought it? And what
<v Speaker 3>a perfect weight in how much? Which would I love
<v Speaker 3>to see her on an intercontinental title? And I've heard
<v Speaker 3>this week via different podcasts and etc. That she isn't
<v Speaker 3>just back for a one and done, She's back semi
<v Speaker 3>long term. So we know that we probably have a
<v Speaker 3>mixed tag match although I don't think it's been confirmed
<v Speaker 3>yet between between the four of these guys, So Seth
<v Speaker 3>and Becky, AJ and Punk at Russell Palooza, which I
<v Speaker 3>have AJ and Punk winning, and then I would like
<v Speaker 3>to see AJ to face Becky for the intercontinental title
<v Speaker 3>and hopefully win. What a result that would be. So
<v Speaker 3>all in all, the book ends of the show, we're
<v Speaker 3>both excellent. The senior start and the US title match
<v Speaker 3>leading into the brock f five Fest. All good, and
<v Speaker 3>we got the match between them confirmed two, which I
<v Speaker 3>think we all knew was happening, but at least at
<v Speaker 3>least that's now in the books. And that last segment
<v Speaker 3>was absolutely fair worst kept secret in the world, especially
<v Speaker 3>after the tweet from WWE's shop this week that went
<v Speaker 3>around the world. I don't know if you guys saw that,
<v Speaker 3>but basically someone had tweeted WWE Shop asking when aj
<v Speaker 3>Lee's merch would be on sale, and they came back
<v Speaker 3>and said, we hoped to have something ready for Wressell
<v Speaker 3>Paloozer for when aj makes her in ring debut. So
<v Speaker 3>basically it was pretty much guaranteed. We all knew it,
<v Speaker 3>but who cares. Aj Lee was one of the true
<v Speaker 3>trailblazers of the Woman's Division and she deserves one last
<v Speaker 3>one in WWE under Triple H and to be able
<v Speaker 3>to do it with Punk is cool, and for it
<v Speaker 3>to start in Chicago, well you can color me very
<v Speaker 3>very excited about that. It's almost a bit of a
<v Speaker 3>shame that the other two matches felt a little signed
<v Speaker 3>lied this week, as everyone was just waiting for the
<v Speaker 3>AJ return, but that's life, I guess, and to be honest,
<v Speaker 3>was anyone really bothered even on their best week about
<v Speaker 3>Priest and Black or Julia and Meechin? Probably not. So
<v Speaker 3>it's now on fire for Russell Paloozer and I guess
<v Speaker 3>we are going to get AJ and Punk on raw
<v Speaker 3>Monday too as the brand split is well and truly dead,
<v Speaker 3>but honestly, who cares brand split? What brand split? But
<v Speaker 3>the stories are pretty much on fire. So guys, a
<v Speaker 3>tiny bit of a shorter show for me this week
<v Speaker 3>as it's a bit later than norm Also, apologies for
<v Speaker 3>that and that just about does it for us this week.
<v Speaker 3>So thanks for having me in your ears once again,
<v Speaker 3>and remember, until next time, be kind.
