<v Speaker 1>Will. <v Speaker 2>Are you kidding me? <v Speaker 3>Now? <v Speaker 2>A kid's dead? I mean, when's this kind of end? <v Speaker 4>Will? <v Speaker 2>And how long are you willing to let it go on? <v Speaker 2>What do you want me to do? When are you <v Speaker 2>gonna realize what's really going on here? <v Speaker 5>Listen, don't you start taking matters in your own hands <v Speaker 5>because some ghost stories old timers are talking about. <v Speaker 3>Stay out of it. <v Speaker 2>I'm warning you, stay out of it. <v Speaker 3>The lapsed fan presents under the Cinemat. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, I love to talk film. <v Speaker 7>I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick <v Speaker 7>out they break. <v Speaker 2>God, you're going nowhere under the cinemat. <v Speaker 8>You get out tracks, cut out my pick up guns. <v Speaker 3>Bad things happen to people. I don't like that. <v Speaker 6>Leave a movie to make. <v Speaker 9>Can we all pull together here make movies? <v Speaker 3>It's true. It's true Kurd Angle is one of the <v Speaker 3>greatest wrestlers in the last twenty years. It's true. It's <v Speaker 3>true Kurd Angle wanted to broaden his horizons to more <v Speaker 3>than just pro wrestler. It's true. It's true Kurt Angle <v Speaker 3>was quoted as saying he loved acting more than he <v Speaker 3>loved wrestling. It's true. It's true Kurt Angle was a <v Speaker 3>leader in TNA, but this particular venture should have maybe <v Speaker 3>been labeled a total narcissistic abomination as the river of <v Speaker 3>darkness flows under the cinemat Wow, this is I don't <v Speaker 3>know what to expect at all. I mean, this movie <v Speaker 3>is beyond laughable. Like I'm gonna tell you this, This <v Speaker 3>makes the CM Punk Venture look like Citizen and King. <v Speaker 3>What scary movie? Seeson eligible, Absolutely it is. It is <v Speaker 3>a horror movie. It's a zombie movie. It takes a <v Speaker 3>lot of license from the movie The Fog John Carpenter's <v Speaker 3>The Fog pretty much the same kind of story in <v Speaker 3>a weird way. But it's got a weird twist that <v Speaker 3>I don't know if it actually the twist at the <v Speaker 3>end of the movie. I'm gonna tell you, I don't <v Speaker 3>know if it. I think it actually is completely out <v Speaker 3>of left field. I do not believe that I caught <v Speaker 3>any sort of setup for this twist at all. Is <v Speaker 3>that right? Oh yeah, well yeah, with curtain involved, it <v Speaker 3>might as well be a full arm driving twist, I believe, yes, <v Speaker 3>or it might as well just be a drop down <v Speaker 3>and ankle twist. And you said The Fog more like <v Speaker 3>the Slog damn right, So this is a this is <v Speaker 3>this is a real, a real monstrosity, and it features <v Speaker 3>four guys, four guys four. I don't know. Outside of <v Speaker 3>the actual wrestling movies, I don't know of a movie <v Speaker 3>we've had like like a quote unquote legitimate movie, you know, <v Speaker 3>not not the fucking you know, the the chic movie <v Speaker 3>there I like to hurt people, not that right, But <v Speaker 3>in terms of a real movie, I don't think we've <v Speaker 3>had four guys in it, have we? I don't think so. <v Speaker 3>I think it's usually one or two four wrestlers. For wrestlers, no, <v Speaker 3>not not like this, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Sid Udy, <v Speaker 3>oh my fucking god, and Ray and Ray Ray Glacier <v Speaker 3>Lloyd who actually is credited as Ray Glacier Lloyd. And <v Speaker 3>I believe Sid is Sid Vicious Udy in the credits, <v Speaker 3>if I'm not mistaken. <v Speaker 10>Well, you know, it is something that we have to <v Speaker 10>dig in the dumpster sometimes to get a connection. For <v Speaker 10>some movies like like Independence Days, the absolute best one. <v Speaker 10>I don't care what you say, ye Joe Fowler, yep. <v Speaker 10>And I still love how you made the end of <v Speaker 10>the cinemat logo for that episode with the fourth the <v Speaker 10>fourth of a second that Joe Fowler's on screen during <v Speaker 10>that movie. <v Speaker 3>I had to literally sit there because I had no <v Speaker 3>fucking idea where he was in the movie. I've never <v Speaker 3>seen him. I'd never I knew that he was in it, <v Speaker 3>but I've never seen him before. And there he is <v Speaker 3>like that a millisecond, and that's the clearest shot I <v Speaker 3>could find of him. <v Speaker 10>So we go from that, or digging in the credits <v Speaker 10>to find if Jean LaBelle stepped on set once yep, <v Speaker 10>to more wrestlers than we know what to do with <v Speaker 10>in every single scene. <v Speaker 3>We go from from from digging in the trash to <v Speaker 3>find out if a guy's actually in the movie, or <v Speaker 3>digging in the dollar bin crate at fucking Walmart. Yeah, exactly, <v Speaker 3>that's where this fucking movie comes. <v Speaker 10>I mean that's you know, Warrior was kind of it <v Speaker 10>kind of had a little bit of recognition, but every <v Speaker 10>crediting the movie, I've ever heard of his voice. <v Speaker 3>But it's David Mammon, isn't it. Yeah, yeah, Warrior, that <v Speaker 3>that'd be. That'll be fun. I like David mammontt man, <v Speaker 3>that's great. <v Speaker 10>Well, I know angles done other movies, and I know <v Speaker 10>all of them fit this category. <v Speaker 3>They're all like this, and there a lot of them <v Speaker 3>are from the same director, so yeah, because a lot <v Speaker 3>of them. Here's the reason why they're they're they're made <v Speaker 3>in Pittsburgh. They're made it. Oh okay, that makes sense. <v Speaker 3>They're made at home. And they would have had Bruno <v Speaker 3>in them at this with the seventies, seriously, although they <v Speaker 3>could have. He was still alive, wouldn't he twenty eleven? <v Speaker 3>It could have. Sure, Yeah, he could have get in <v Speaker 3>there ahead line, Yeah sure. You probably don't want to <v Speaker 3>be yeah sure, yeah sure, Hey, Bruno, do you want <v Speaker 3>to be in a movie? Yeah sure, Bruno. Do you <v Speaker 3>want to be in a porn Yeah sure? Bruno? Did <v Speaker 3>georgea Horian murder wrestlers in addition to giving them steroids? <v Speaker 3>Yeah sure? Is there anything you won't say? Yeah sure? <v Speaker 3>Oh Bruno? Did you have you murdered people before? Yeah? Sure, Berno. <v Speaker 3>Does your wife fuck other men in front of you? Yeah? Sure? <v Speaker 3>Okay Bruno? Are you a moron? Yeah sure, Bruno. You <v Speaker 3>see that body of water over there? What's it called? Yeah? Sure, <v Speaker 3>yeah Jersey? Sure? What's your what's your favorite Italian restaurant? Sure? <v Speaker 3>Fuck so. Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh. You know, so there <v Speaker 3>was some you know, in looking up this movie as <v Speaker 3>there was obviously some connection with the Pittsburgh Film office, <v Speaker 3>and Pittsburgh actually has a pretty significant, uh history with <v Speaker 3>the motion pictures. Yeah, actually a major major contributor the <v Speaker 3>Harry Albert Sam and Jack Warner. The Warner Brothers opened <v Speaker 3>their first production and distribution house in Pittsburgh. It was <v Speaker 3>the Duquesne Amusement and Supply Company. That sounds fascinating, just <v Speaker 3>that just screams motion picture, doesn't It sounds like a <v Speaker 3>place I go to to do a kid's birthday party <v Speaker 3>on the cheat It's like a bounce house place, you know. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>the Duquesne Amusement and Supply Company. But then they went <v Speaker 3>out to LA and open Warner Brothers. Richard A. Rowland, <v Speaker 3>one of the founders of MGM, born in Pittsburgh and <v Speaker 3>started his career there. And of course, the the heavily <v Speaker 3>referenced Pittsburgh native is in this for this movie is <v Speaker 3>George A. Romero because he filmed the probably I'll go <v Speaker 3>so far to say the most famous zombie movie of <v Speaker 3>all time, I'm the Living Dead sure coming soon under <v Speaker 3>the cinema. Oh my god, really, it qualifies, qualifies, it <v Speaker 3>fucking qualifies, it fucking qualifies. So if you're the writer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor, <v Speaker 3>and casting director Bruce Kohler, I don't know why that <v Speaker 3>one got me, because he does more jobs than you <v Speaker 3>can shake us, than anyone should do on a film. <v Speaker 3>All right, any relation to Fred Kohler? You know he <v Speaker 3>might actually yeah, yeah, I had to. I'll get to <v Speaker 3>it later. But I had to find out some I <v Speaker 3>had to dig in a little bit about this guy <v Speaker 3>because I was very curious about there were there were <v Speaker 3>two stories going on. Let me ask you this in <v Speaker 3>your in your experience, as you know, with being a <v Speaker 3>reporter and doing research and stuff, how common is it <v Speaker 3>for there to be two people with the same exact name, <v Speaker 3>or or like at least same first name, same last name, <v Speaker 3>born in the same year, living in the same vicinity. <v Speaker 10>I don't know, It's rare. Usually when that's the case, <v Speaker 10>the people will use their middle initial knowing that that <v Speaker 10>confusion the likelihood of that confusion is high. <v Speaker 3>Well, I I mean, because there was very little until <v Speaker 3>I found one little piece. I was actually suffering trying <v Speaker 3>to figure out if there were two Bruce Kohlers or not. <v Speaker 3>I hate that. <v Speaker 10>I mean, you know, the god send for any research <v Speaker 10>is unusual names, because you absolutely know that that's the <v Speaker 10>person you're looking for if the name comes up. But <v Speaker 10>you know, if a guy's named Bill Smith, I mean, <v Speaker 10>you might as well not even start trying. <v Speaker 3>Right exactly, so, so point being, he could be he <v Speaker 3>could be related to Fred Kohler. I don't know. That's <v Speaker 3>a tip. <v Speaker 10>By the way, if anybody you know wants to make <v Speaker 10>sure that their kid one day doesn't end up under <v Speaker 10>the cinemat getting ripped on because he spoke, he or <v Speaker 10>she spoke to a newspaper, name them a very common name, <v Speaker 10>so nobody knows about yours. <v Speaker 3>If they won't find them, right fuckers. Uh So, if <v Speaker 3>you're if you're Bruce kher the the multi talented, multi whatever, <v Speaker 3>you want to be filmmaker, you got Pittsburgh heritage running <v Speaker 3>through you, and you want to follow up mister Romero, <v Speaker 3>I would presume with your own legacy making a zombie movie. <v Speaker 3>And so we turned to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. September seventeenth, <v Speaker 3>two thousand and nine. <v Speaker 10>Pittsburgh Post Gazette Kurt Angle's hometown papers. <v Speaker 3>Can you seriously post the limb gazette? Okay, surprise, they <v Speaker 3>don't call it the Pittsburgh Gator roll Gazette, the Pittsburgh <v Speaker 3>Cement Mixer Gazette. Oh God. In a corner of Pine, <v Speaker 3>just a few miles from the side of one of <v Speaker 3>the most famous scenes in one of the most most <v Speaker 3>famous zombie movies ever filmed, Bruce Kohler is brewing up <v Speaker 3>some home comb grown horror and perhaps a bit of <v Speaker 3>the monster magic that transformed Night of the Living Dead <v Speaker 3>into a cult classic. It's correct, the Pine resident and <v Speaker 3>owner of a production company is wrapping up shooting his <v Speaker 3>fourth film, River of Darkness. The parallels between the George <v Speaker 3>Romero nineteen sixty eight hit and mister Kohler's latest cinema <v Speaker 3>cinema travesty. Cinema travesty that's a new might as well <v Speaker 3>be cinema to graphic, Cinema to graphic. They just made <v Speaker 3>up a word here at these that that is not <v Speaker 3>a word. Undertaking range from the subtle to the obvious. <v Speaker 3>Actor Bill Heinzman or Hinsman, known by horror film officionados <v Speaker 3>as Zombie Number one for his role in nither the <v Speaker 3>Living Dead. He's a el zombie. No exactly have you <v Speaker 3>seen that in Living Dead? Oh? God, I can't wait <v Speaker 3>for that one. So the first zombie, it's the famous <v Speaker 3>scene They're coming to get you, Barbara. And this guy, <v Speaker 3>this guy played the first zombie, who's probably the most <v Speaker 3>famous zombie in the movie. And it's hilarious because he <v Speaker 3>really looks just like a normal human being. He just <v Speaker 3>kind of walks a little funny, but besides that, he <v Speaker 3>could be a normal human being trying to eat people. <v Speaker 3>He plays the central character, Harvey Hicks, who is hunted <v Speaker 3>by the evil spirits of three unjustly murdered brothers. Both <v Speaker 3>films are low budget horror flicks with storylines focused on <v Speaker 3>the living dead. Both were written and produced by local directors. <v Speaker 3>Both were filmed in the Pittsburgh region. Is it too <v Speaker 3>much for mister Kohler forty four to hope for the <v Speaker 3>same kind of success enjoyed by the film that was <v Speaker 3>released before he was old enough to see it? That <v Speaker 3>is a that is a rough sentence right there. Absolutely <v Speaker 3>the local director isn't thinking about it. Quote. Now times <v Speaker 3>are so different now than back then. So a few <v Speaker 3>movies were being produced. Entertainment options were limited. There were <v Speaker 3>only three stations in Pittsburgh. There wasn't the competition. He <v Speaker 3>has said several buzzwords for Vince McMahon right there, say <v Speaker 3>that's like a cornucopia. I'm not even thinking about how <v Speaker 3>successful successful this movie can be. I'm just trying to <v Speaker 3>make the best movie I can make, getting the most <v Speaker 3>bang for the buck that I can get. Mister Kohler, <v Speaker 3>who graduated in nineteen eighty four from ottoan to say <v Speaker 3>that yet. With his North Shore Pictures production company based <v Speaker 3>in his home based in his home in Pine, he <v Speaker 3>has produced three films and a host of commercials. The <v Speaker 3>first was Dark Way in two thousand and six, followed <v Speaker 3>by the next year by Nineteen Doors, and then End <v Speaker 3>Game in two thousand and eight, coming soon to under <v Speaker 3>the cinemat crime drama End the Game has earned mister <v Speaker 3>Kohler his first direct to DVD release by a large <v Speaker 3>Hollywood distributor, First Look Studios. The release state is December <v Speaker 3>first All were shot in the Pittsburgh region, So now <v Speaker 3>you know, when you're making a movie. We've talked about <v Speaker 3>this too. You do need to have you do need <v Speaker 3>to have It's ideal if you can, if you can <v Speaker 3>get a star, you know, you want to get some <v Speaker 3>kind of some kind of that's like a wrestling match. Absolutely. <v Speaker 3>I mean, if you can get five stars, you're gonna <v Speaker 3>you're gonna that's that's incredible, right in a motion picture. <v Speaker 3>But if you get one, you're good. So but you know, <v Speaker 3>this guy's on a budget, right, this guy's on a budget. <v Speaker 3>He can't he can't necessarily just afford anybody. You need <v Speaker 3>someone with mainstream appeal recognition, someone who maybe has the <v Speaker 3>intensity to withstand a fast paced, low budget shoot. Maybe <v Speaker 3>someone with the intelligence to dip deep into the soul <v Speaker 3>of a character. Maybe someone with the integrity to take <v Speaker 3>everything seriously in order to make the audience suspend disbelief. <v Speaker 3>Or you could just hire your producing partner and start <v Speaker 3>your last woman call it a day. It can't be both, <v Speaker 3>can't it. No, it cannot. And that's why Kurt Angle <v Speaker 3>is the man in this movie. Kurd Angle us about <v Speaker 3>around the time he was getting arrested at two third <v Speaker 3>in the afternoon. We're going to get there. We're going <v Speaker 3>to talk about that, don't you worry. So this was <v Speaker 3>in The Observer the October fifth, two thousand and nine, <v Speaker 3>Dave wrote. Angle is currently filming another independent film in <v Speaker 3>Pittsburgh called River of Darkness. It's a low budget horror film. <v Speaker 3>Bruce Kohler is the producer who also cast Angle as <v Speaker 3>the star in Endgame, the movie where Angle met Jenna <v Speaker 3>Morosca and the Rest has Forgotten History. Angle plays a sheriff. <v Speaker 3>Angle's manager, Dave Hawk is the assistant producer. The movie <v Speaker 3>is about a guy who killed three giant brothers who <v Speaker 3>then come back to life thirty years later to get revenge. <v Speaker 3>Two of the giant brothers are played by Sid Udi <v Speaker 3>and Kevin Nash. This all sounds like something you would <v Speaker 3>make up for comedy, Yeah, exactly. <v Speaker 5>So. <v Speaker 3>The guy playing the third brother is an actor by <v Speaker 3>the name of Bill Lang. He was apparently remember the <v Speaker 3>movie The Mothman Prophecies. Remember that Richard gear movie supposedly <v Speaker 3>based on the story or whatever. Yeah, in two thousand <v Speaker 3>and two. It was pretty bad anyway, This guy apparently <v Speaker 3>played the Mothman in the movie and brought and Brian <v Speaker 3>Alvarez actually wrote in the Figure four Weekly the week <v Speaker 3>after this he's a fan of the Mothman prophecies, and <v Speaker 3>he says here, I actually saw Mothman prophecies because I'm <v Speaker 3>a huge Art Bell fan, and if I recall correctly, <v Speaker 3>the actual Mothman appears in the film for approximately two seconds, <v Speaker 3>So there's a hell of a role there. Bill Hinzman, <v Speaker 3>best known as the original zombie from Night of the <v Speaker 3>Living Dead, is also in the film. This sounds like <v Speaker 3>a fucking must see, as Brian, I mean, you know, <v Speaker 3>in many ways, it actually is, no question, it kind <v Speaker 3>of is a must see because it's just so I mean, <v Speaker 3>out of the bad movies that we've watched, I'll say <v Speaker 3>this one actually made me laugh out loud at times. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 3>this one, Like there were moments in there I just <v Speaker 3>was so. I was so taken aback by the ridiculousness <v Speaker 3>of it. And yeah, and a lot of it has <v Speaker 3>to do with Glacier. He just sucks. Oh I love it. <v Speaker 3>He fucking sucks. <v Speaker 10>Remember when I saw Pierre Carl Willette walking through Star <v Speaker 10>Cast and thought he was Glacier. <v Speaker 3>No, no, no, I said it was Glacier. You thought it <v Speaker 3>was Carlo Willette, but it was Glacier. Oh I'm really <v Speaker 3>confused now. Yeah, yeah, because I said, I said, oh shit, <v Speaker 3>is Glacier here? Because he because he was really you know, <v Speaker 3>he's put on some some weight since uh since his <v Speaker 3>w c W days. And you're like, no, no, no, no, no, no, <v Speaker 3>that's uh, that's that's cool, that's PCO. But you know, <v Speaker 3>I said, I don't know, I think it is. And <v Speaker 3>then and then he wasn't there for that show. I <v Speaker 3>think I don't think. I don't think well that was there. <v Speaker 3>Was he even at the event? I'm pretty sure he was. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>I wasn't. Well anyway, he ended that what is Glacier amazing? <v Speaker 3>I actually was Glacier and you were like, oh, ship, <v Speaker 3>that is Glacier. Ray Lloyd can't get his fucking fucking <v Speaker 3>boring of that. So, I mean you already kind of <v Speaker 3>brought it up. But before we dig into Kurt's involvement <v Speaker 3>with the film, I think it's important to see where <v Speaker 3>he's at during the time period of two thousand and nine. <v Speaker 3>So The Daily News August seventeen nine, pro wrestler and <v Speaker 3>Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle has been arrested on charges <v Speaker 3>of possessing a human growth hormone and violating an order <v Speaker 3>of protection in suburban Pittsburgh. Yeah, yeah, what do you <v Speaker 3>remember about this? <v Speaker 10>Tough times for Kurt. Oh yeah, you know when he <v Speaker 10>went to TNA in the first place, people thought he <v Speaker 10>was going to drop dead because like, really he was <v Speaker 10>too bad for Vince, you know in terms of like <v Speaker 10>pill problems, and we know a lot more now, like <v Speaker 10>the A and E biography and Kurt Angle from a <v Speaker 10>few weeks ago had a lot of stuff about this, <v Speaker 10>and he was really strung out. He was just like, <v Speaker 10>you know, really bad on the painkillers and you know, <v Speaker 10>mixing it with booze, which is the cocktail that has <v Speaker 10>killed so many. And they really released him because they <v Speaker 10>felt like he couldn't stop himself from doing what it <v Speaker 10>took to keep working the schedule, right. I mean, you <v Speaker 10>know when you win a gold medal with a broken <v Speaker 10>neck legit, you know, being hurt kind of doesn't mean <v Speaker 10>a lot to you. <v Speaker 3>No, it doesn't. <v Speaker 10>And if you offer somebody like that, with that kind <v Speaker 10>of drive, you know, a chemical way to get through it, <v Speaker 10>he'll do it. I mean he showed that at Wresselmania nineteen. <v Speaker 10>So when he went to TNA, it was like, you know, <v Speaker 10>it must be really bad, it must be like an <v Speaker 10>untenable situation because he was definitely one of the top <v Speaker 10>guys in the industry when he went over there, and <v Speaker 10>needless to say, TNA did not have a very rigorous <v Speaker 10>program in and around drug and alcohol use. A lot <v Speaker 10>of guys were, you know, able to imbibe over there <v Speaker 10>to extreme degrees. I mean, I'm not saying it was <v Speaker 10>like DCW locker room where guys were needles hanging under <v Speaker 10>their arm, which is probably an exaggeration, but I think <v Speaker 10>how people tend to talk about how bad the drug <v Speaker 10>problem used to be in that locker room. But still <v Speaker 10>it definitely was in a place that if you had <v Speaker 10>a problem, you went to and expected to, uh, you know, <v Speaker 10>have have eyes on you all the time when it <v Speaker 10>came to that ship. <v Speaker 3>Right, So the the main the why he got arrested <v Speaker 3>here not only because of the thing, but he so <v Speaker 3>so he was driving his car and I mean, you <v Speaker 3>know they're there. He could be he could be the <v Speaker 3>you know, wrong place the wrong time, or he could <v Speaker 3>have been stocking his his girlfriend at the time. The <v Speaker 3>fok's her name Biggers, Trenisha Biggers or Raka Khana RockA <v Speaker 3>con Right. Yeah, that was like Vince did the whole <v Speaker 3>thing with Vince heard that Kurt Angle had dated a <v Speaker 3>black woman before, and so he immediately started the storyline <v Speaker 3>where he was, you know, basically trying to abduct Charmel <v Speaker 3>from Booker t because Finn thinks it's absolutely hilarious. And <v Speaker 3>that's what I think every time. That's always what I <v Speaker 3>think of when I think of Kurt Angle and his <v Speaker 3>relationship with with Rockacon. Is that how Evince like thought <v Speaker 3>it was hilarious that he was into black women. Oh <v Speaker 3>you're in a black woman? Huh, all right exactly and <v Speaker 3>into I mean, Jesus two wives aren't. But that that <v Speaker 3>that proves my point even more. Just the just the <v Speaker 3>whiff of interest, you know what I mean, It's just <v Speaker 3>like something that maybe never crossed. Like that's great, shet Pal, <v Speaker 3>That is great, jet pal. Can you can you get <v Speaker 3>one for me? <v Speaker 10>It reminds me of the story, uh, just incredible tales <v Speaker 10>in his book where you know, he's just starting to <v Speaker 10>get noticed by them and they're going to give him <v Speaker 10>a roster spot, but they need a gimmick for him before. <v Speaker 10>You know, Elda Montoya and you know, like usual, well <v Speaker 10>what's your background, pal? And you know, God forbid you say, <v Speaker 10>like you know, I used to be a pizza man. <v Speaker 10>And then pretty soon he'll be delivering pizzas on raw. <v Speaker 10>But uh what but he said, what's your background? What's <v Speaker 10>your you know, uh city, and he goes, I'm Portuguese, <v Speaker 10>and Vince goes, that's great, pal as if like it's <v Speaker 10>a joke. Yeah, right exactly, as if. <v Speaker 3>To say, like, who's who's Portuguese? Like that's that's hilarious, <v Speaker 3>that just sounds funny. I mean, what do you do? Oh, <v Speaker 3>I don't know, Vince, I as a as a Portuguese? <v Speaker 3>What are you? What's your thing? <v Speaker 5>Like? <v Speaker 3>Uh, Nando's what's that? Pierry Pierri sauce. Oh I love sauce. Yes, <v Speaker 3>I love sauce. Any kind of sauce is a big, <v Speaker 3>big fan. So like, uh like what, so what are <v Speaker 3>we gonna call you? What do you think? <v Speaker 6>Man? <v Speaker 3>I mean, you've gotta be something Portuguese. <v Speaker 10>You're a you're a well, you're you're a regae. You <v Speaker 10>must be a regular. I don't know, thirteenth century colonizer. <v Speaker 10>We wait, as we'll call you a maven Mozambique. How <v Speaker 10>about kurt Angola? <v Speaker 3>About Kurt Anglophile? Much different? <v Speaker 10>Yeah, okay, there's nothing to do with my background that's fine, <v Speaker 10>just but Credible tells the story of like Vince crack <v Speaker 10>it up when he tells him that, and he's just like, <v Speaker 10>uh yeah, it's funny. Like he's like, what did I <v Speaker 10>tell a joke? Jesus, I think it's so great man. <v Speaker 3>So, so he told the officers he had not seen <v Speaker 3>the woman who apparently you know, the rockecan who called <v Speaker 3>in this charge and was looking for a hotel because <v Speaker 3>he was barred from his home because of this protection <v Speaker 3>order that he had. And it was interesting. He was <v Speaker 3>barred from his home and he was home at the bar. <v Speaker 3>It's exactly right, and then he was barred from the bar. <v Speaker 3>So Jesus, that was just the whole nightmare for him. <v Speaker 3>And it just was it was just crazy. He says, <v Speaker 3>he stopped for coffee at a at a coffee shop. <v Speaker 3>He just got a coffee, and she happened to be there. <v Speaker 3>It was like a complete circumstance and whatever. And the article <v Speaker 3>says Angle, the current heavyweight champion of Total NonStop Action <v Speaker 3>Wrestling to naw that's what that basically is, was scheduled <v Speaker 3>to appear in a TNA wrestling event Sunday night in <v Speaker 3>Orlando Florida. <v Speaker 10>This is the time period, by the way he's talked <v Speaker 10>about this, where he would be in airports and people <v Speaker 10>would recognize him and they would say, holy shit, Kurt Angle, <v Speaker 10>why are you in wrestling anymore? And he's on national <v Speaker 10>television every single week as the heavyweight champion of TNA. Wow, <v Speaker 10>that's how little anybody gave a fuck Jesus. <v Speaker 3>Stephen Godfrey, a spokesman for Nashville, Tennessee based TNA Wrestling, <v Speaker 3>declined to comment on the arrest, but said the main <v Speaker 3>event between Angle Sting and the Blueprint Matt Morgan would <v Speaker 3>go on as scheduled. Godfrey also said TNA has a <v Speaker 3>drug policy in place for staff and performers, but he <v Speaker 3>declined to release the details. In September, Angle was found <v Speaker 3>not guilty of drunken driving in Moon Township outside Pittsburgh. <v Speaker 3>A motorist told police Angle had cut her off while <v Speaker 3>leaving a bar parking lot. Angle's doing great, just fucking great. <v Speaker 3>So Dave I had some stuff, but you basically talked <v Speaker 3>about it, you know, talking about how he was left <v Speaker 3>from how how Vince left him and and whatnot, in <v Speaker 3>all this kind of shit. But he says, even so <v Speaker 3>so when when he was when he when, like you said, <v Speaker 3>it was a shock that Vince released angle at at <v Speaker 3>the time, and given given how important he was, I <v Speaker 3>remember being shocked too. I remember when you told me. <v Speaker 3>I was just completely shocked at that. I thought it <v Speaker 3>was I mean, I was actually in a weird way <v Speaker 3>heartbroken because he was one of the saving graces for <v Speaker 3>me at the time. <v Speaker 10>Who's in that really weird career place where they had <v Speaker 10>put him on ECW remember that. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, he had just he had just lost the world <v Speaker 3>title in that three way to Raymisterio at WrestleMania, and. <v Speaker 10>Then they made him the ECW champion. Yeah, and that <v Speaker 10>would later be kind of the role, you know, because <v Speaker 10>that was when Paul Haman was actually booking the ECW <v Speaker 10>TV show they had on Sci Fi, So he actually <v Speaker 10>was trying to actually create a signature ECW champion with <v Speaker 10>a signature style, and that kind of was the role <v Speaker 10>that ended up going to Chris Benwaller would have had <v Speaker 10>done one not done what he did. So, Yeah, when <v Speaker 10>Hayman had that wweec W, he always wanted to, you know, <v Speaker 10>a champion with kind of a shoot oriented work style <v Speaker 10>and he he remember he broke. He breathed a big <v Speaker 10>time life into Kurt. Like you know, not to say <v Speaker 10>Kurt was dead or anything, but he was kind of middling. <v Speaker 10>He he didn't have much intensity in the ring. He <v Speaker 10>was more kind of like like a softer character. <v Speaker 4>In a way. <v Speaker 10>And Hayman brought him in. It's like, okay, he's going <v Speaker 10>to kill him. He's you know, he's angle slam and <v Speaker 10>he's ankle locking, he's amateur wrestling ing. <v Speaker 3>That's when that's when he became that that period, it <v Speaker 3>was his wrestling machine gimmick, the wrestling machine. That's right. <v Speaker 10>And of course, you know, you give a guy that <v Speaker 10>that kind of gimmick, which is incredibly physically demanding, right <v Speaker 10>at the exact wrong time in terms of his ability <v Speaker 10>in his body's ability to handle it, of course, let's <v Speaker 10>make him the wrestling machine. When he came to get <v Speaker 10>out of bed. <v Speaker 3>That's wrong. I don't see what you have yet to <v Speaker 3>let me know what the problem is. <v Speaker 10>And yeah, the fact that you know they parted ways, <v Speaker 10>and I think the reason it was known so early <v Speaker 10>that Kurt was essentially you know that they were afraid <v Speaker 10>Kurt was going to die in their watch, and that <v Speaker 10>was a key part of the reason that they let <v Speaker 10>him go was the fact that they wanted to taint <v Speaker 10>TNA for taking him. You know, I think they didn't <v Speaker 10>hesitate to get to get the word out there that <v Speaker 10>Kurt was, you know, on death's door, and you know, <v Speaker 10>you keep that in mind before you get excited about <v Speaker 10>him being in TNA. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, everyone, but you know, and everyone wanted him though, <v Speaker 3>but not even just TNA. But Dave said, New Japan <v Speaker 3>you have yeah. <v Speaker 10>And he did New Japan. Didn't he wrestle Brock in <v Speaker 10>New Japan once? I think he did, and he like <v Speaker 10>UFC Yep. He was going to be on The Ultimate <v Speaker 10>Fighter as a coach against uh Tito I think or <v Speaker 10>they were talking about. Oh no, Dan Peter is Dan <v Speaker 10>Peter the guy who submitted him on that tough enough <v Speaker 10>segment in the ring when he wasn't supposed to. And <v Speaker 10>uh He also was in talks with a group at <v Speaker 10>the time called Bowdog Fight, which was an MMA outfit <v Speaker 10>founded by uh the Bowdog Gambling Company and its founder <v Speaker 10>Calvin Air, and they wanted to put him in the <v Speaker 10>ring with Brock. They wanted to do an MMA fight <v Speaker 10>and he was he was in pretty advanced talks about <v Speaker 10>doing it. At the time, people were like, yeah, okay, <v Speaker 10>you know, fat chance, not realizing that Engel you know, <v Speaker 10>was in active talks with with Dana White as well <v Speaker 10>about coming into UFC. <v Speaker 3>The question is would he ever really have done it? <v Speaker 3>You know? <v Speaker 10>Was it all just a bunch of talk, right I <v Speaker 10>you know, it's it is wild. I don't have've ever <v Speaker 10>talked about this actually was. I interviewed Kurt in this <v Speaker 10>time period because they were coming. TNA was coming to <v Speaker 10>do the Cape Cod tent shows. We talked about a <v Speaker 10>few weeks ago. There was that one summer where all <v Speaker 10>of a sudden, ww wasn't doing the annual New England <v Speaker 10>ten shows. <v Speaker 3>It was TNA. <v Speaker 10>They kind of swept that up, sort of not unlike <v Speaker 10>how New Japan got Madison Square Garden once and it <v Speaker 10>never happened again in terms of like you know, a <v Speaker 10>new uh a WWF territory, stronghold, traditional you know kind <v Speaker 10>of venue and show going to another company, and he <v Speaker 10>was he had a lot to say. It was a long, <v Speaker 10>sprawling conversation, but he was talking about Brock and he <v Speaker 10>you know, in the offer to fight Brock, and he <v Speaker 10>was also talking about a special that UFC had put <v Speaker 10>on Spike where Tito Ortiz was always in contractual disputes <v Speaker 10>with UFC all the time, always butting heads with Dana <v Speaker 10>White and going public with his grievances and stuff, and <v Speaker 10>UFC would fire back, and there was this clause in <v Speaker 10>the contract where if there was a dispute between him <v Speaker 10>and Dana White that couldn't be resolved, they would resolve <v Speaker 10>it in a boxing match between him and the promoter. <v Speaker 3>Oh my god. <v Speaker 10>So they had to blow up, and Tito tried to <v Speaker 10>exercise that clause and Dana said, fine, well, if we're <v Speaker 10>gonna do it, we're gonna have cameras here, and we're <v Speaker 10>gonna make it a pay per view and we're gonna <v Speaker 10>make some money off this thing. And he trump carded <v Speaker 10>Tito because Tito, you know, Dana was never a professional boxer, <v Speaker 10>but he was an amateur boxer. He did run a <v Speaker 10>boxing gym. He you know, he's they think about MMA <v Speaker 10>fighters is, yeah, they're incredibly tough and dangerous people, but <v Speaker 10>doesn't necessarily mean they'll do very well in a strict <v Speaker 10>boxing match, right right. Of course, espre'sially compared to someone <v Speaker 10>who's actually boxed rounds before in an actual fight as <v Speaker 10>opposed to just in the gym, And so Tito never <v Speaker 10>showed up for the big confrontation, and they made an <v Speaker 10>entire special and put it on Spike about how Tito <v Speaker 10>didn't show up in the end. It made him look <v Speaker 10>like a total bitch. <v Speaker 1>Wow. <v Speaker 10>Meanwhile, the whole thing's focused on how Dana is just <v Speaker 10>like getting workouts in in his hotel room while still <v Speaker 10>running UFC so that he can be in shape to <v Speaker 10>fight Tito, and so he looks like a badass. And <v Speaker 10>I remember Kurt paid close attention to that whole special <v Speaker 10>and was saying, like, you know, so who made the <v Speaker 10>mistake here? <v Speaker 3>You know what was? Uh? You know where? Where did where? <v Speaker 3>Did where did Tito go wrong? <v Speaker 10>I was like, yeah, it was when he agreed to <v Speaker 10>this clause in the first place. You know exactly should <v Speaker 10>have been able to see that. Ultimately, he wouldn't have <v Speaker 10>been comfortable that he would look good enough against Dane. <v Speaker 10>I bet in his mind he thought it would be <v Speaker 10>just some like private session. I was like, nope, there <v Speaker 10>will be cameras there, Like Dana is not afraid at all, <v Speaker 10>Like Dana. If even Dana gets his ass beat, he'll <v Speaker 10>still make money off being able to see that fight. <v Speaker 3>You kidding me? <v Speaker 10>Yeah, yeah, said, but you know, the risk that Tito <v Speaker 10>would look sort of lame in a straight boxing match <v Speaker 10>caused him to stay away. That was a fascinating deal. <v Speaker 10>And that's how plugged an MMA Kurt was. Is he <v Speaker 10>was following that whole thing, and you know, trying to <v Speaker 10>figure out the machinations in the MMA world, just like <v Speaker 10>you have to figure him out in pro wrestling. <v Speaker 3>That's so fucking I love. <v Speaker 10>It was weird talking to him about that because I <v Speaker 10>didn't think he cared about UFC. It was just like, oh, <v Speaker 10>you were a gold medallist, you're a huge wrestling star. <v Speaker 10>Let's let's do some business. But he actually he was <v Speaker 10>actually really plugged into the industry and how to succeed <v Speaker 10>in it. So he was pretty close to going I <v Speaker 10>would have been something that would I. <v Speaker 3>Mean, I thought, I've thought about that. I mean, I <v Speaker 3>remember thinking about that. I remember thinking about that when <v Speaker 3>when this was all happening, Like where the fuck? I mean, <v Speaker 3>I thought, you know, I wanted him to go to TNA. <v Speaker 3>I wanted him to go to TNA. It was great <v Speaker 3>for them, It was kind of great. A course, Dave <v Speaker 3>didn't say it was great. It was at first. It <v Speaker 3>was rates with the Joe matches, which I always think <v Speaker 3>is the stupidest fucking thing they could have done, the <v Speaker 3>way they handled it, stupidest fucking thing. The last thing <v Speaker 3>you want to do is I mean, you know, I <v Speaker 3>know everything's kind of all, you know, gone up in <v Speaker 3>smoke here with with CM Punk and whatever. But the <v Speaker 3>way that they've handled Punk in a w is the <v Speaker 3>way that the Tenation have handled Kurt angle. Let him <v Speaker 3>do some smaller things instead of just rushing in with <v Speaker 3>it with what you really want to do with him. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>because that just fucking it just kind of blew all <v Speaker 3>the steam out. Yeah, you know, point like you could <v Speaker 3>have built them up a little bit more and made <v Speaker 3>people want. <v Speaker 10>It, and nobody wanted anything else from him until he <v Speaker 10>rematched Joe later in the six sided cage match that <v Speaker 10>they did, which was their all time record by rate. <v Speaker 3>So that's just so stupid, so stupid. Anyway, this part <v Speaker 3>of from the Observer, I do want to read. The <v Speaker 3>date specifically is August twenty fourth, two thousand and nine. <v Speaker 3>So TNA is apparently willing to accept that the stocking <v Speaker 3>charges were made up by Trenisha Bigger's twenty seven wrestler <v Speaker 3>Rokacan because of the internal feeling she's a bigger piece <v Speaker 3>of work than he is. One comment on her this <v Speaker 3>past week is that as crazy as some people are <v Speaker 3>in the company, if you add up all the craziness <v Speaker 3>of everyone else, she by herself beats that tremendous. That's <v Speaker 3>probably why the company was willing to take Angle side <v Speaker 3>on the stocking charges and disregard the police report that <v Speaker 3>under normal circumstances showed someone who seemed to be way <v Speaker 3>out there. Many had predicted a disastrous end of their <v Speaker 3>relationship from the start. At one point there was the <v Speaker 3>assumption they were broken up, but then it became clear <v Speaker 3>when she was booked on a recent house show Loop <v Speaker 3>that they were together and in fact living together at <v Speaker 3>his home in Pittsburgh. Apparently the two had a big <v Speaker 3>fight on August fourteenth. She called police and filed the <v Speaker 3>for a protection order against him, which was served on <v Speaker 3>Angle at six nineteen am that morning by Moon Township police. <v Speaker 3>She claimed shortly after that, while she was at Starbucks <v Speaker 3>using the Internet, she saw him driving outside of the Starbucks. <v Speaker 3>She called police at about seven fifty am claiming he <v Speaker 3>was in the parking lot stocking her and violating the <v Speaker 3>protection order. Angle was found with two syringes in his <v Speaker 3>car and viols of hydroid tropin Hiji t open hit <v Speaker 3>you truth like that. Yeah, an inexpensive version of growth <v Speaker 3>hormone and development in China. That costs me about one <v Speaker 3>hundred dollars. That gh because it's not innabolic. So it's <v Speaker 3>fine injections for far less express I thought steroids are <v Speaker 3>out of the business, aren't Those don't count the steroids <v Speaker 3>is every time to tell me, no, it's got that <v Speaker 3>fucking gas. <v Speaker 4>It's natural. <v Speaker 3>It's natural. It's got that fucking gas. It's natural. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>that's how you'll end up. <v Speaker 8>That's natural, like a typical Carnie show. <v Speaker 3>That's exactly correct. So, given all his injuries and his <v Speaker 3>arm at trophy, a trophying, a trophy atrophying, a traphying <v Speaker 3>in recent years, is that the crispin waffing where his <v Speaker 3>arms getting smaller? <v Speaker 10>Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have a pinch nerve somewhere in it. Yeah, <v Speaker 10>it sort of starts to wither away at your ability <v Speaker 10>to build up strengthen in your arm, and it starts <v Speaker 10>trinking before your eyes. <v Speaker 3>Damn right till it's just till your arm is just <v Speaker 3>kind of your hand is just coming out of your armpit. <v Speaker 10>Well, he had those, he had those naturally stumpy arms. <v Speaker 10>That was the thing to start with. It doesn't make <v Speaker 10>your arms shorter, but it makes it smaller. <v Speaker 3>Comfort always in my mind that they don't smaller means shorter, <v Speaker 3>not like in terms of earth. It's all of a sudden, <v Speaker 3>he's got like a little hand out of his arm pin. <v Speaker 10>It's kind of the opposite of those billionaires who literally <v Speaker 10>had their legs broken so that they could have rods <v Speaker 10>placed in their legs so they could be taller. <v Speaker 3>That's ridiculous, that's stupid. So there may be, they may <v Speaker 3>They may very well have been a legitimate medical usage <v Speaker 3>for him using the drugs at least to battle those problems. However, <v Speaker 3>if his nerve damage is so bad that he needs <v Speaker 3>bodybuilding drugs like this to keep his body from an <v Speaker 3>atrophying to that level, he should not be in the <v Speaker 3>ring taking bumps. As much as a selfish part of <v Speaker 3>many of us as fans would love to see him <v Speaker 3>have the kind of matches he used to always have, <v Speaker 3>And while there is no question he is suffering from <v Speaker 3>more than his share of injuries. He's also on the <v Speaker 3>cover of Fitness RX magazine at your news stand today, <v Speaker 3>the one with the claim that he pinned brought Lesner <v Speaker 3>three times in Fargo, North Dakota in their now famous <v Speaker 3>backstage wrestling match in two thousand and two. TNA ignored <v Speaker 3>all the warning signals when signing him, and it turned <v Speaker 3>out to be in their benefit. They have ignored plenty <v Speaker 3>of warning signals over the last three years and will <v Speaker 3>continue to do so. It's a risk reward game that <v Speaker 3>leads to the company looking bad by continually rationalizing not <v Speaker 3>taking any steps to see if he needs help and <v Speaker 3>get him out of the ring for the sake of <v Speaker 3>his own long term life. When police in Robinson Township <v Speaker 3>just outside of Pittsburgh picked him up and according to <v Speaker 3>the police report, they found two vials of growth hormone <v Speaker 3>in a syringe. He was also sit up for driving <v Speaker 3>with a suspended license stemming from a two thousand and <v Speaker 3>seven incident. He was cleared of that dui, so after <v Speaker 3>he was released on bail, he did an interview with <v Speaker 3>a TV interview with local TV news station WTAE to <v Speaker 3>again share his side of the story. <v Speaker 6>The evening of August fifteenth, I was at my residence <v Speaker 6>and it was probably about the tenth time I broke <v Speaker 6>up with this girl. I've asked her to leave my <v Speaker 6>house fifty or sixty times. I asked her that she <v Speaker 6>can move in temporarily. She behind my back, got a <v Speaker 6>mailing address at my house, which made her a resident. <v Speaker 6>That in turn gave her the right to follow PFA <v Speaker 6>against me and have me kicked out of my house. <v Speaker 6>So what sparked this PFA. She wanted to get married. <v Speaker 6>She wanted me to get her a ring, and I <v Speaker 6>said there's no way possible. So there are a lot <v Speaker 6>of red flags here. I didn't think her and I <v Speaker 6>could get along. <v Speaker 11>How long have you been dating? <v Speaker 6>We're dating about nine or ten months. It was it <v Speaker 6>wasn't really you know. It was more of her complaining <v Speaker 6>about me being with my kids and stuff like that. <v Speaker 6>But basically I left, you know, I didn't want to <v Speaker 6>be in any trouble. I got out. I hurried up <v Speaker 6>and called my manager. I called the owner of my <v Speaker 6>company TNA, and I wanted everybody to see what my <v Speaker 6>next move would be. I called my attorney and they said, <v Speaker 6>don't go back to the house. Within fourteen minutes, a <v Speaker 6>police officer pulled me over and I said that I <v Speaker 6>violated my PFA. He also said I had a suspended license, <v Speaker 6>which I don't. I do have a valid license, and <v Speaker 6>he found a prescription in the car which I had <v Speaker 6>I have a prescription for and I said, there's no <v Speaker 6>way I valid violet my PFA because I just left <v Speaker 6>my house. He said, well, she's here and I didn't <v Speaker 6>see her, but they ended up handcuffing me, putting me <v Speaker 6>in a car, and taking me to jail. <v Speaker 1>So you were not stalking her at the time. <v Speaker 6>No, she was stalking me. We finally got a surveillance <v Speaker 6>camera of me leaving my Sherrington or I should say <v Speaker 6>my gated community, and then her car came just about <v Speaker 6>two minutes after mine. <v Speaker 1>So she was following you. <v Speaker 6>Yeah, she was supposed to be staying at my house <v Speaker 6>and she got in her car right away and followed me. <v Speaker 12>And she's claiming you circle the coffee shop several times <v Speaker 12>stalking her. <v Speaker 6>No, what happened was I went to the microtel. First, <v Speaker 6>the lot was full, so I knew that I wouldn't <v Speaker 6>be able to check in because nobody checked out. Then <v Speaker 6>I went up to Hyatt Place at Giant Eagle, That's <v Speaker 6>where I was circling the parking lot, and then I <v Speaker 6>went down the Starbucks. When I went into Starbucks, as <v Speaker 6>I pulled in, that's when the police caught me, or <v Speaker 6>when they pulled me over. I didn't circle at all, <v Speaker 6>I just pulled in. The police officer was there, So <v Speaker 6>her report is the opposite. She said I circled the <v Speaker 6>Starbucks car parking lot and that I was up at <v Speaker 6>Giant Eagle as well. It just shows that she was <v Speaker 6>in two places at one time. That you know, I <v Speaker 6>left first and she was following me for what reason. <v Speaker 6>Obviously she wanted to have me arrested because you know <v Speaker 6>she gave she gave me a PFA. I got out <v Speaker 6>of there and I wanted to find a hotel and <v Speaker 6>talk to my attorney about how to get back to <v Speaker 6>my house. And fourteen minutes later I was arrested. <v Speaker 8>Why do you think she's doing this. <v Speaker 6>Out of spite? I didn't want to marry her. She <v Speaker 6>asked me for an engagement ring the week before. There <v Speaker 6>were a lot of red flags in this relationship that <v Speaker 6>I just knew it wouldn't work out. I wasn't ready <v Speaker 6>to get married. I just went through a divorce a <v Speaker 6>year before. I just finally settled custody with my kids. <v Speaker 6>I was very, very excited about that, and then I <v Speaker 6>basically told her I didn't want to be with her <v Speaker 6>anything more. <v Speaker 2>Were you a threat to her at all? <v Speaker 5>No? <v Speaker 6>I you know, she she did a lot of things <v Speaker 6>to try to She tried to get me to hit her. <v Speaker 6>She would, she would, you know, she would do things. <v Speaker 6>But I never wanted to, you know, I wanted to <v Speaker 6>get to that point. <v Speaker 3>What a mess, What a fucking mess. <v Speaker 10>It's gonna sit there and like answer questions about the <v Speaker 10>minutia of his He doesn't have to, but he did. <v Speaker 3>And he's and he's like, I mean, honestly, I don't know. <v Speaker 3>Does he sound high to you? Oh? Yeah, he definitely <v Speaker 3>has a slur for sure. I mean he's high. He's <v Speaker 3>repeating himself, he's contradicting himself. He's just a mess. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>he sounds like he's doing opiates. Yep. And he or <v Speaker 3>you know, I don't know, some kind of drug that <v Speaker 3>slurs your speech. But that's my guest. <v Speaker 9>He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast with Jack and j Pisarro. <v Speaker 4>He's a lapsed fan Wrestling podcast. <v Speaker 10>He was kind of like, what's weird about Kurt is <v Speaker 10>that you can't forget. After the Olympics and when he <v Speaker 10>was sort of deciding against going to pro wrestling, he <v Speaker 10>took a job as like a sportscaster on the Pittsburgh <v Speaker 10>Nightly News, whatever the affiliate was he worked for. So <v Speaker 10>he was like, you know, he's like a mister community <v Speaker 10>in Pittsburgh in some way, I'm sure his charity work <v Speaker 10>and stuff, and for this to be out there about him, <v Speaker 10>apparently it made him think that to uphold this image, <v Speaker 10>he's got to actually subject himself to this incredibly detailed <v Speaker 10>line of questioning and let people into his personal life <v Speaker 10>to this degree, which always in and of itself, is <v Speaker 10>somewhat of a cry for help. But I think it's <v Speaker 10>at first blush, You're like, why the fuck is he <v Speaker 10>even doing an interview like this, and then you think, well, <v Speaker 10>it might do more harm than we realize for people <v Speaker 10>to have this perception of him as having, you know, <v Speaker 10>an abusive relationship or somehow stalking this woman, or having <v Speaker 10>some kind of nigg ativity like that associated with his name. <v Speaker 3>But it's it's kind of weird because I mean, I've <v Speaker 3>never under really really understood this because to me, it's <v Speaker 3>the the whoever side of the story comes out first <v Speaker 3>is the one who controls the story. Am I wrong <v Speaker 3>in saying that? Well, well, if you don't respond, yes, <v Speaker 3>But even if you do respond, there's a chance that <v Speaker 3>that will happen. There's a chance that but you know, <v Speaker 3>if you don't respond, forget about it, that version will prevail. <v Speaker 3>So you have to. <v Speaker 10>It's almost like you're obliged to, you know, which is <v Speaker 10>kind of what makes it unfair. Like he's talking about <v Speaker 10>getting baited, you know, into doing something. It's like, you know, <v Speaker 10>it's like, as long as as long as this person's <v Speaker 10>embarrassed and I don't know, I don't. <v Speaker 3>Know what he did or didn't do. <v Speaker 10>I don't fucking know, but that's for the legal system <v Speaker 10>to figure out. But you know, as long as this <v Speaker 10>person's embarrassed, then they've beaten you, right, right, even if <v Speaker 10>you completely rebut every single thing they say and prove everything, <v Speaker 10>every single thing they say is a lie. The fact <v Speaker 10>that they've put you in the position to have to <v Speaker 10>do that is enough for or a certain type of person, <v Speaker 10>a certain type of addictive person. <v Speaker 3>Jesus well, this interview did continue. I mean, it's pretty long, <v Speaker 3>but there was one point that I wanted to point <v Speaker 3>out because as he continued, he ultimately broke down during <v Speaker 3>the interview and was sobbing. <v Speaker 6>So here, she literally asked for my car instead of <v Speaker 6>driving her car. She took my car to a police <v Speaker 6>station and then she asked for permission. And then that <v Speaker 6>morning I got arrested. And then literally minutes later, the <v Speaker 6>police pulled me over and said I violated a PFE <v Speaker 6>that I just got. <v Speaker 8>Served, and now you can't get back into your home. <v Speaker 6>I cannot get back in my home. She keeps following <v Speaker 6>pfas temporary ones, which means it gives her to write <v Speaker 6>to stay in my house, and I can't be at <v Speaker 6>my home. So I'm how are you saying at a <v Speaker 6>hotel somewhere? I'm all right. I had to go to <v Speaker 6>work for three days. That was really hard to do. <v Speaker 6>I just want this to be over with I I <v Speaker 6>never intended on, you know, I just wanted. I wanted <v Speaker 6>her to leave and move on with her life and <v Speaker 6>I can move on with my life. And for whatever reason, <v Speaker 6>she you know, she she always wanted. She she always <v Speaker 6>brought up that she wanted to get married. She wanted <v Speaker 6>to get married. She wanted to get married. So this <v Speaker 6>is this is really hard for me. I you know, <v Speaker 6>I spent nine hours in the jail and it was <v Speaker 6>the lowest point in my life. <v Speaker 13>I mean, I didn't do anything wrong, and uh I was. <v Speaker 13>I was sitting here in the county jail and just <v Speaker 13>thinking about why I even started dating this girl. So <v Speaker 13>I can't believe she did this to me. <v Speaker 6>I don't even know when I'm allowed back in my <v Speaker 6>own home. <v Speaker 13>So I just hope that the hearing goes okay and <v Speaker 13>then I can get back in my house and move <v Speaker 13>all my life. <v Speaker 3>That's all I want. I mean, I don't want any trouble. <v Speaker 3>I just I just want my life back. Mm hmm. <v Speaker 3>Just wants life back, Oh, Kurt, Yeah, it really. I <v Speaker 3>mean it's it's like the I mean, how many times <v Speaker 3>does you need to talk about the fucking wanting to <v Speaker 3>get married. I mean, she wanted to get married and <v Speaker 3>all the red flags and you know my mom said <v Speaker 3>no to and she probably didn't, you know. I just <v Speaker 3>it's like it's a nice woman. You so rarely hear, <v Speaker 3>you know, like relationship public relationship spats like this where <v Speaker 3>drugs aren't involved, right, there's almost like there's almost like <v Speaker 3>a I don't know, there's almost like a truth serum <v Speaker 3>in them in a weird way, Like of course, it <v Speaker 3>just makes people like drop all of their inhibitions about <v Speaker 3>talking for everybody to hear about their shit. You know, <v Speaker 3>it's always a telltale sign, like I defy you to <v Speaker 3>find two completely straight laced people who don't do any <v Speaker 3>drugs having a public dispute like this, you know, where <v Speaker 3>they're accusing each other in published reports or broadcast reports <v Speaker 3>about one thing or the other. Just it's not it's <v Speaker 3>just as you wouldn't know because it's it's very drug <v Speaker 3>addic behavior though to like you know what I mean, <v Speaker 3>to have this big, long, involved story about every single thing, <v Speaker 3>you know, yeah, and all these like all these these <v Speaker 3>almost insignificant details that really don't that's it exactly, you know, <v Speaker 3>like talking about like even talking about the part that <v Speaker 3>kind of rubbed me the wrong way is like someone <v Speaker 3>I shouldn't even have dated this girl, Like this is <v Speaker 3>what this is? <v Speaker 4>Shit? <v Speaker 3>You was shamed to your therapist, Not. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, you nailed it about the insignificant details. It's like <v Speaker 10>you can almost with people that are in that state <v Speaker 10>of mind, they're almost like debating with themselves and like <v Speaker 10>in real time, you're like, oh, this is a good point, <v Speaker 10>this is a good one, this, this will make it <v Speaker 10>the difference. And then they're like, then they forget what <v Speaker 10>they just said and feel like they have to keep <v Speaker 10>making their point because they they're forgetting and it's not <v Speaker 10>registering with them. If what they're saying is is registering, <v Speaker 10>they just keep going and it's like, yeah, they speak, <v Speaker 10>speed up, and then they say, I forget what they <v Speaker 10>just said. And when you go up and down you <v Speaker 10>undulate like that, you just never feel like you're making <v Speaker 10>your point because you kind of forgot what you just said. <v Speaker 10>I mean, I'm not saying that this Kurt state of <v Speaker 10>mind in this exact interview, but it smacks of it, <v Speaker 10>you know. <v Speaker 3>I mean, yeah, he sounds he sounds rough. But there's <v Speaker 3>good news here because a month later he's cleared of <v Speaker 3>all charge. Isn't it funny? By the way, I love that. <v Speaker 3>I love that cinemats are are first kind of foray <v Speaker 3>into TNA. <v Speaker 10>Yeah right, I know, I feel I feel like I'm <v Speaker 10>in a very different world than we typically are. <v Speaker 3>You know, it's it is it is very I mean, <v Speaker 3>we've never done a I mean, I guess this is <v Speaker 3>as close to a TNA based movie as you as <v Speaker 3>we can get. <v Speaker 10>And when you pick a movie like this, it's like, <v Speaker 10>oh man, what is he gonna be able on earth <v Speaker 10>about this movie? It's such an obscure film. And then <v Speaker 10>I'm like, no, it thought about that. It's about what <v Speaker 10>year was it made in? <v Speaker 3>Right? Where did the wrestler stand in that year? That's <v Speaker 3>where the money with these people? And so then also <v Speaker 3>it's also you know, there actually is a significant amount <v Speaker 3>about this more I should say this, not a significant amount, <v Speaker 3>but way more than I fought it was out there <v Speaker 3>about this movie. I was like, I was in a <v Speaker 3>way dreading this because it's like, what the fuck are we? Like, <v Speaker 3>what am I gonna be able to talk about? But <v Speaker 3>with four clowns in it, you know, stuff does come up. <v Speaker 3>So yeah, so he's, uh, he's clear of all charges <v Speaker 3>the next month, and that's good timing because he's got <v Speaker 3>a movie to make. And after the charges were dismissed, <v Speaker 3>Angle and his legal team met with the press and <v Speaker 3>he did one more little interview here outside the court. <v Speaker 5>Well, justice was actually justice was done today I was <v Speaker 5>presented by thank you to my attorneys. <v Speaker 1>Good today. <v Speaker 5>It seems like every time a game from a camera, <v Speaker 5>I cry. <v Speaker 1>I've had a hard, hard year. <v Speaker 5>I had a lot of false occupation, and uh it's <v Speaker 5>really harder. <v Speaker 8>I've never never hit a woman, never would. <v Speaker 5>I was drown by I was brought up by my <v Speaker 5>mother and father never to touch an individual. <v Speaker 3>In that manner, and. <v Speaker 4>I had to. I had to go through this. <v Speaker 3>Uh. I'm just glad that it's over. I never asked <v Speaker 3>for this. Uh. The only thing I want. <v Speaker 5>To say to people out there, especially men and the women, UH, <v Speaker 5>be be careful who you're inviting your home. <v Speaker 4>Uh. <v Speaker 5>You don't know if they're gonna do anything like what <v Speaker 5>this person did to me. <v Speaker 3>And all I did was I. <v Speaker 5>Was only allowing her to live there for a week, <v Speaker 5>and she ended up being there for ten and a <v Speaker 5>half months, and she squatted at my house. <v Speaker 1>And didn't leave, and I couldn't get her out. <v Speaker 3>I tried to get her to move every week. <v Speaker 5>So I just want to say thank you my attorneys, <v Speaker 5>and thank the good Lord above for exonerating me. I'm <v Speaker 5>so happy and I'm going to move out of my <v Speaker 5>life and do what I do I'm going to be <v Speaker 5>doing movies and a lot of wrestling, So I'm very happy, <v Speaker 5>thank you. <v Speaker 1>Made everything was dismissed, right, Yeah, the case was dismissed. <v Speaker 12>The so called victim in this case testified, and she <v Speaker 12>was the only person to testify. The stranger didn't even <v Speaker 12>need to testify, based on the questions that the Commonwealth <v Speaker 12>asked her and then that I followed up and asked her, <v Speaker 12>which basically was if this incident occurred, which she says <v Speaker 12>it did. She continued to go back to his house <v Speaker 12>and lived there for an additional nine days. She had <v Speaker 12>every opportunity to leave, She had her own car, she <v Speaker 12>had every opportunity to leave, and she continued to just <v Speaker 12>keep going back there. It wasn't until she just decided <v Speaker 12>that she didn't think the relationship was going to work <v Speaker 12>that this story was concocted. So luckily, District Justice Murray <v Speaker 12>saw through it and made the right decision and threw <v Speaker 12>the case out. All the charges were dismissed, and now <v Speaker 12>mister angel Can has been completely exonerated as he should <v Speaker 12>have been, and he can move on and do what <v Speaker 12>he does best, wrestle and make movies. <v Speaker 10>That second half, I'm not so sure, and movies are <v Speaker 10>what he intends to make. Come on, how money does best? <v Speaker 1>Brother? <v Speaker 3>What are you talking about? Do you talk about people <v Speaker 3>like call from behind and living in your house? Dude? Again, brother, <v Speaker 3>can you give me some can you don't have to <v Speaker 3>talk to you? All right? <v Speaker 10>So after that press conference, Vin, pardon me, Vinn, Kurt <v Speaker 10>and his legal team you know, to here. <v Speaker 3>By the way, played by Mary stem Virgin by the way, apparently. <v Speaker 10>You know, they go out for lunch, you know, to <v Speaker 10>kind of reflect and and you know, go over the <v Speaker 10>events of the day and the next steps that might need. <v Speaker 3>To be taken. <v Speaker 10>And press right decompresses the word I was looking for, <v Speaker 10>and kurts feeling good? You know, he unbuttons his top <v Speaker 10>button and he, you know, saw bad. <v Speaker 3>I should I should describe the suit he's wearing, one <v Speaker 3>of those one of those shirts that I cannot stand <v Speaker 3>with a different color color than the rest of the Yes, <v Speaker 3>the blue shirt with the white collar. Yeah, he liked those. Dude. <v Speaker 10>Come on, I remember when they brought back the dress <v Speaker 10>code for the for the wrestlers in early two thousands, <v Speaker 10>that that was his choice. He'd go on raw and <v Speaker 10>sweat through the fucking thing. But uh, so, you know, <v Speaker 10>you know, he's he's, he's, he's lounging back. It's kind <v Speaker 10>of like a booth at a chain restaurant. He's got <v Speaker 10>potato skins in front of him, and you know, they're <v Speaker 10>just kind of hamming it up and feeling good, you know. <v Speaker 10>And so it around like four thirty five, it's time <v Speaker 10>to go back home, and you know, kurt Is just <v Speaker 10>he gets home, he puts his keys on the on <v Speaker 10>the credenza and he has his home finally back to himself. <v Speaker 10>The A C's blowing smooth, and and he's got a <v Speaker 10>million texts to respond to people saying, man, I'm so <v Speaker 10>happy for you. And he so he sits in his <v Speaker 10>bark a lounger and he just responds to texts and <v Speaker 10>he's feeling good. He hasn't really had the chance to <v Speaker 10>do anything that to deal with this. And finally, you know, <v Speaker 10>he's finally done with that last text and uh just <v Speaker 10>kind of staring off in his space, reflecting on the day. <v Speaker 3>And then hello, dude, god brother, you got tell you <v Speaker 3>about what's going on in this house? Dude? Why brother, <v Speaker 3>people coming up behind you, people breaking into your house, dude, <v Speaker 3>rolling you up, brother, kicking you out? Dude? <v Speaker 11>Why? <v Speaker 4>Brother? <v Speaker 3>What's going on? <v Speaker 6>Dude? <v Speaker 3>I need to know how to stop this? <v Speaker 11>Brother? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, well you fast forward it significantly, Kurt. What's up? <v Speaker 3>Brothers Tory, Oh Terry, thank you for calling men? Brother. Hey, <v Speaker 3>hey dude, it's it's it's it's a hulk brother. You <v Speaker 3>you okay? Dude? You're doing all right? Brother? <v Speaker 10>Oh Terry, I'm doing great. I feel fantastic. Thank you <v Speaker 10>so much. You don't even have a buzz on yet. <v Speaker 3>Brother, Brother, you know what do you deserve it? Brother? <v Speaker 3>You know I want to wait? Huh, you deserve a <v Speaker 3>bizz zz You deserve that bizzos. Brother. Let me tell <v Speaker 3>you something to what you should do. Brother, this is <v Speaker 3>one of those days, dude. I don't necessarily always uh <v Speaker 3>you know, I don't necessarily always you know, condone this, brother, <v Speaker 3>But today's the day you should definitely take pills and drink. Brother, <v Speaker 3>mind mat she get a really fucking high brother, fanny <v Speaker 3>pack Friday. Dude, it's all I'm saying. So yeah, dude, <v Speaker 3>So brother, you know you want to I want to <v Speaker 3>talk about what happened, dude. Oh yeah, I mean it's <v Speaker 3>I've been talking about it. <v Speaker 1>All day. <v Speaker 3>It's it's been a whirlwind, Terry. <v Speaker 1>Brother. <v Speaker 3>So what I'm thinking is what I'm wondering, Dude, what what? <v Speaker 3>What specific? Let's talk it over, you know what specifically, brother, <v Speaker 3>might have been the most disconcerting thing that happened over <v Speaker 3>this whole Oh, that's actually a really great question, you know, <v Speaker 3>Terry's just a betrayal of trust. Really. You know, you <v Speaker 3>think you get into a good faith relationship with somebody <v Speaker 3>and you find out that brother. Tell me about what <v Speaker 3>I want to know, dude, is Brother, here's what I <v Speaker 3>need to know. Dude, is this chicken to roll me <v Speaker 3>up from behind? Now? Brother? Is she gonna bring into <v Speaker 3>my house? Dude? Is she coming after me? Brother? She <v Speaker 3>got you, dude, and you fucking you fucking collapse brother? <v Speaker 3>So I need to know, dude, is she coming after me? Brother? <v Speaker 3>Who she talked to? Who you talk to? Brother? What'd <v Speaker 3>your lawyer say? <v Speaker 5>Do? <v Speaker 3>Did your lawyer say she's coming after me? Dude? I <v Speaker 3>can't get rolled up? Brother, I'm happy to tell you, Terry, <v Speaker 3>my lawyer never once mentioned you. Well, why didn't you <v Speaker 3>mention me? <v Speaker 1>Brother? <v Speaker 3>You know I'm next and well really ahead of you, do? <v Speaker 10>But why I don't know why she didn't mention you. <v Speaker 10>I just think Terry, it's safe to say that if <v Speaker 10>you don't get into a relationship with this woman, you <v Speaker 10>won't find yourself in the same position I did. <v Speaker 3>But I don't. But brother, what if? What if she did? You? <v Speaker 6>Brother? <v Speaker 3>You understand, dude, she's coming after me. Brother, Like, I <v Speaker 3>don't know where you get that from, Terry. She doesn't. <v Speaker 3>I don't even think she knows it makes sense, brother. <v Speaker 3>She I think she's here, dude. I think she fucking here. Brother, <v Speaker 3>I think she's outside my house. Dude, you don't live <v Speaker 3>in bel Air, Florida. What do you do? You live <v Speaker 3>in bel Air, Florida? Because I still have a GPS <v Speaker 3>on her car that she doesn't know about. Are you say? <v Speaker 6>Well? <v Speaker 3>That seems to be where she is right now? <v Speaker 11>Brother? <v Speaker 3>How did you kill her? <v Speaker 4>Dude? <v Speaker 3>I didn't know how to kill her. Brother, You fucking <v Speaker 3>did a dude. I need to do it, brother, I <v Speaker 3>need to take her out right now. Dude. I'm sorry, Terry. <v Speaker 3>The phone seems to be brother, Dude, hold on, hold <v Speaker 3>on all right? <v Speaker 4>You know what? <v Speaker 3>You know what I'll tell you when we do, I'm <v Speaker 3>gonna have knobs I'm gonna have knobs. Uh, you know, <v Speaker 3>check out front, brother, and how buddhas check out back? Dude. <v Speaker 3>I just want to know, dude, one more thing. Brother, Yeah, dude, <v Speaker 3>are you are you going to take a nap today? Brother? <v Speaker 3>What are you? If I ever wake up? Terry? Are <v Speaker 3>you gonna are you gonna take a nap this afternoon? Brother? Yeah? <v Speaker 3>That's good? All right, that's you should dude, should definitely <v Speaker 3>take a nap. Probably sleep till tomorrow. Brother, nobs. <v Speaker 7>Dude, I can go up to fucking Pittsburgh and get <v Speaker 7>the wind back. Brother, You fucking you get take care <v Speaker 7>of her. I'm gonna get the fucking the airport. Brother, <v Speaker 7>I'm gonna click fucking curt angle in his bark alonger. Dude, <v Speaker 7>I get my wing of the ring. <v Speaker 3>Brother, It's gonna happen, my dude, Jimmy, dude, anyone look, brother, <v Speaker 3>I think is Jimmy look at the here's a way <v Speaker 3>to get him. Brother. See if there's a door. <v Speaker 10>Open, dude, look at the house. That's that's what he <v Speaker 10>did every time he got to the ring. And to <v Speaker 10>make sure he didn't get shorter on his percentage. <v Speaker 3>A brother, I need to make sure to get through <v Speaker 3>the gate gated community. Yeah, right again another double end, Dondre. <v Speaker 3>I'm gonna pin that fucking Kurt angle brother. <v Speaker 10>Now we know he told him to to take whatever <v Speaker 10>he wanted tonight. No what else he's got to take <v Speaker 10>in addition to fucking Oxy's the leg drop. <v Speaker 3>See did Hogan ever pin him in TNA? <v Speaker 6>No? <v Speaker 3>No, Wow, not that I remember. <v Speaker 11>Wow. <v Speaker 3>Surprised, big problem brother. I'm surprised, brother, Kurt. We're getting <v Speaker 3>the band back together, dude. We're going to go on <v Speaker 3>a nationwide tour. It's gonna be my farewell tour. And <v Speaker 3>I think you're just the opponent. Brother. Brother. I'm thinking <v Speaker 3>of having, you know, pretty pretty epic matches, dude, I'm <v Speaker 3>thinking about two minutes brother of me just getting complete <v Speaker 3>offense and pinning you big boot leg drop. Brother, you're <v Speaker 3>down or. <v Speaker 10>He tells him that before he agrees to come in. <v Speaker 10>So yeah, that's how it went down. People don't know <v Speaker 10>the Hogan part of that story. I know it's really <v Speaker 10>a big part. So quick side note, though, I do <v Speaker 10>want to do you want to talk about miss Biggers? <v Speaker 10>So she was released from TNA in October of two <v Speaker 10>thousand and nine. Ten years later, she was placed on <v Speaker 10>El Paso's most wanted list for interference with child custody. <v Speaker 3>Oh wow. And also apparently there's a recording somewhere of <v Speaker 3>her ex husband who was on probation regarding he's on <v Speaker 3>probation for beating her into unconsciousness. Just awful anyway, but <v Speaker 3>apparently she he there's a recording that came up where <v Speaker 3>he has on tape or on file he has admitted <v Speaker 3>to making false police reports against her. Whoever the sex <v Speaker 3>husband is was ar wrestled too. <v Speaker 10>I think that's another short, shortfire sign of a drug <v Speaker 10>at drug addicted couple, as they always record each other, yes, right, exactly, <v Speaker 10>or they always get recorded right somebody else. <v Speaker 3>You know, someone is someone's recording, right, He don't doesn't <v Speaker 3>know who it is, but someone is recording. So she <v Speaker 3>sounds like a keeper. I think that's the takeaway. That <v Speaker 3>is the takeaway. So does Kurt Angle for that matter, <v Speaker 3>absolutely keepers. So let's fast forward a little bit to <v Speaker 3>twenty eleven. So while he's promoting the release or the <v Speaker 3>eventual release of River of Darkness, he does an interview <v Speaker 3>with the Sun, the UK newspaper, the Sun, not the <v Speaker 3>Lowell Sun. Sadly I was hoping it was a long son. <v Speaker 3>So the big news was in twenty eleven, his contract <v Speaker 3>was was upon was about to expire, and he you know, <v Speaker 3>he wasn't sure of his overall commitment to wrestling, but <v Speaker 3>he did vow one thing. Do you remember this at all? <v Speaker 3>Remember hearing about this? Nope, he vowed one thing. He <v Speaker 3>will never return to the w W A oh God, <v Speaker 3>he said that. He said it sad. He intended to <v Speaker 3>stick with TNA forever. And you know, we know how <v Speaker 3>that turned out. That he'll get in the Hall of Fame, <v Speaker 3>he'll take part as a as an on screen character, <v Speaker 3>and then you bet your fucking ass he's getting in <v Speaker 3>the ring. Correct. Did he do a moon Salt ever? <v Speaker 3>And miss oh, that is a good question here. I <v Speaker 3>don't think matches here. You would think if he did, <v Speaker 3>I would remember it, but I kind of want to <v Speaker 3>leave the possibility open. I don't think. <v Speaker 9>So. <v Speaker 3>He got pushed back into the ring prematurely because of <v Speaker 3>the shield thing. Remember that m Roman got a not <v Speaker 3>a hemotoma what hernia and had to pull out of <v Speaker 3>a six man tag main event against the Wyats. <v Speaker 10>I'm pretty sure it was. And they were scrambling for <v Speaker 10>a suitable replacement, and they just asked Angle if he'd <v Speaker 10>joined the shield for one night. Wow, and that was <v Speaker 10>that was his return to in ring action because they <v Speaker 10>needed to pull some rabbit out of their hat, because <v Speaker 10>you know the old adage like if your main eventor <v Speaker 10>goes down, you've got to replace them with something that <v Speaker 10>seems bigger. Then even they would have been there he was, <v Speaker 10>and they convinced them to gear up. <v Speaker 3>Well, I needed one match. You can certainly get on <v Speaker 3>the road and then we right and then we go <v Speaker 3>from there exactly, you know, I mean, why not want <v Speaker 3>to do a full time schedule? Why not do it <v Speaker 3>while you can Kurt full time? <v Speaker 10>Don't you feel you deserve it, Kurt, after all the <v Speaker 10>years on work you put in to have that runt. <v Speaker 3>Do you feel like you deserve that last run? Don't <v Speaker 3>you feel that I deserve for you to have that <v Speaker 3>last run? <v Speaker 10>Are you saying that you're not grateful for all the <v Speaker 10>things I've done for you? <v Speaker 3>Is I mean, are you saying that that that you're <v Speaker 3>not that you're not happy with the way your life <v Speaker 3>turned out because of me? <v Speaker 10>Two weeks later later, Angles Moon salting from the top <v Speaker 10>to the floor to one there to catch him. <v Speaker 3>He's moves holding off the top of hell and a <v Speaker 3>cell to the floor's right like in here comes the pain, <v Speaker 3>damn right, and there it went to so right. In <v Speaker 3>this article he does also talk about his movie career, <v Speaker 3>specifically River of Darkness. So this is the Sun March eleventh, <v Speaker 3>twenty eleven. He's also a very busy man outside of <v Speaker 3>the wrestling ring. His fiance recently gave birth to their <v Speaker 3>first daughter, prematurely, causing Angle to dash home from the <v Speaker 3>TNA European Tour to be by her side. It's a <v Speaker 3>weird name for a little girl, yes it is. He <v Speaker 3>also runs a health food provider and has thirty and <v Speaker 3>has a Here we Go thirty percent share in a <v Speaker 3>film production company, north Shore Pictures. Here we Go thirty <v Speaker 3>eight percent share in a film production company north Shore Pictures. <v Speaker 3>North Shore's latest offering, River of Darkness, sees Angle play <v Speaker 3>a small town shriff investigating a series of grizzly murders <v Speaker 3>and also stars Kevin Nash and Sid Vicious Uti. Kurt <v Speaker 3>is clearly relishing being an actor, but in typical Angle fashion, <v Speaker 3>he isn't content with simply reading his lines. He said, <v Speaker 3>quote you know we're gonna do two. We're gonna We're <v Speaker 3>gonna do We're going to do two films a year, <v Speaker 3>and I'll star on all of them. Of course. You know, <v Speaker 3>we're thinking about getting TNA Involves. We might have a <v Speaker 3>t and a wrestler starring in it as a supporting actor, <v Speaker 3>but we don't want it to be just wrestlers. We <v Speaker 3>want actors who are non wrestlers too. I'm very serious <v Speaker 3>about our company. I'm a thirty percent owner, so I <v Speaker 3>have a vested interest in making sure we do the <v Speaker 3>right things. But I'd like to build the wrestlers on <v Speaker 3>a different platform by giving them an opportunity to be <v Speaker 3>in the movies which they normal which they wouldn't normally be, <v Speaker 3>and show their skills in other forms wrestling. I really do. <v Speaker 3>But as much as I love wrestling, I love acting <v Speaker 3>even more, and I just want to make sure this <v Speaker 3>company does the right thing. Q member of the general <v Speaker 3>public saying, there isn't much of a difference, Honey, Kurt <v Speaker 3>Angle likes acting more than wrestling. Yeah, yeah, I can <v Speaker 3>believe that, too bad. Acting doesn't like him as much <v Speaker 3>as wrestling does, right. Yeah, So yeah, that brings us <v Speaker 3>to Kevin Nash. Not much about Nash in this one, <v Speaker 3>but I do want to mention he was in TNA <v Speaker 3>as well, and if I'm correct, me if I'm wrong, <v Speaker 3>but according to the timelines I kind of put together, <v Speaker 3>he and Angle were both a part in the main <v Speaker 3>event Mafia kind of around this time, right, kind of summer, <v Speaker 3>very much so, summerfall of two nine, Okay, and uh actually, <v Speaker 3>in fact, if in the making of during the midst <v Speaker 3>of making River of Darkness, I believe he was the <v Speaker 3>TNA Legends Champion at the time. Whatever that belt means. <v Speaker 3>What's a TA legends about that belt? It kind of <v Speaker 3>introduced it when they introduced the main Event Mafia. So <v Speaker 3>it's supposed to be like like a senior division, you know, <v Speaker 3>kind of like a belt for people who were you know, <v Speaker 3>had name value but were kind of too old to <v Speaker 3>mix it up for the world title. Okay. <v Speaker 10>You know, TNA's business model was very simple, like higher <v Speaker 10>everybody we can after WWF, lets them go right with <v Speaker 10>hardly any discernment about who is and isn't worth bringing in, <v Speaker 10>and so it be. It almost came to a point <v Speaker 10>where it's like, let's create an entire separate division for <v Speaker 10>these guys so that a world title doesn't just look <v Speaker 10>like something that's getting passed around by WWF cast have <v Speaker 10>a division, right basically, yeah, that they should have called <v Speaker 10>it that. Honestly, that would have been at least interesting event. <v Speaker 10>Mafia days. Man, that was when TNA totally lost the plot. <v Speaker 10>They were just like, you know, they were on Spike. <v Speaker 10>Bischoff was in Spikes here he was trying to in nWo. <v Speaker 10>Guys were trying to rint get the band back together, <v Speaker 10>to the point they actually called it the band Nash <v Speaker 10>holl And Waltman the Band, and they thought that was <v Speaker 10>going to stick. <v Speaker 3>Oh man, it was just so bad. <v Speaker 10>It was just like all these guys that had contracts <v Speaker 10>when ww went out of business and didn't work for <v Speaker 10>eighteen months, they could collect while they're back. They're back <v Speaker 10>kind of running the same scheme they ran in the <v Speaker 10>in the dying days of ww It was something to <v Speaker 10>see because there's no one in the there's no arenas really, <v Speaker 10>I mean, they go on the road for pay per views, <v Speaker 10>but they're taping at Universal Studios in front of like, <v Speaker 10>you know, a couple of hundred, few hundred people, several several. <v Speaker 3>Hundred people look you know it, don't need to worry <v Speaker 3>about getting the crowd. We've got TV going on. You know, <v Speaker 3>a couple hundred people, it's all you need. <v Speaker 10>Fucking right, fucking Indeed, I remember when they did that <v Speaker 10>tent show. The ring they brought was so small that <v Speaker 10>you German someone against the road and their feet really yeah, <v Speaker 10>I don't know what that was about. <v Speaker 3>Jesus fortunately, uh in. I don't know sure if it's <v Speaker 3>its latest episode or one of his more recent episodes. <v Speaker 3>Uh Nash. They did on his podcast. They they had <v Speaker 3>an episode where he commented on all of his movies <v Speaker 3>that he made every single one idea for that. What's <v Speaker 3>the guy? What's the host name? I can't think of? <v Speaker 3>Sean Oliver. Sean Oliver. I like him. I like he <v Speaker 3>He's funny, He's so funny. I like his dry humor. <v Speaker 3>But he he basically went through down the list of <v Speaker 3>all of Nash's movies in chronological order, and he had <v Speaker 3>comments on them, and he had a comment about River <v Speaker 3>of Darkness, which coincidentally led into a comment about another <v Speaker 3>film that we have seen. Yes, I can take a <v Speaker 3>wild So let's see how this all went down with <v Speaker 3>Sean Oliver, Kevin Nash and how they click this together. <v Speaker 8>River of Darkness. Kurt angles with you for this now. <v Speaker 6>Oh my my god. <v Speaker 14>So we have a scene and where this these fucking <v Speaker 14>three dead brothers sids one of them and it's the <v Speaker 14>other guys the cat from the Mothmaan prophecy. So our <v Speaker 14>reveal is we're coming out of the river. Okay, we're dead. <v Speaker 14>We're coming out of the river, and we've got this <v Speaker 14>black shot all over our faces. It's like dead scatter whatever. <v Speaker 14>But lo and behold as we surface out of the river, <v Speaker 14>our fucking hair is absolutely dry. And I'm like to <v Speaker 14>the director, I said, uh, would our hair not be? <v Speaker 4>What? <v Speaker 14>Yeah, but we only have two days to shoot and <v Speaker 14>we don't have it time to dry everybody's hair. You're <v Speaker 14>just gonna work around it. <v Speaker 8>Oh wow, that's a commentary on this. <v Speaker 14>This motherfucker is going to go straight. This is going <v Speaker 14>to go to the bargain basement at Walmart. <v Speaker 3>Wow. <v Speaker 15>So I have not seen River Darkness, but now uh <v Speaker 15>it's I think you have to micro does some mushrooms <v Speaker 15>to actually appreciate it, enjoy it. <v Speaker 14>I think that I don't even think micro dove. You <v Speaker 14>might have to do five fucking grams. <v Speaker 8>But had he seen the doll, the Nash doll, he <v Speaker 8>might have opted for a wig of some kind of <v Speaker 8>you coming out of it, not only dry, but that <v Speaker 8>coming coming out of the lake. <v Speaker 14>I think he wanted that. That's that was the whole <v Speaker 14>fucking thing is he wanted that. He didn't want a <v Speaker 14>tamed version. He wanted that fucking. <v Speaker 8>Almighty thour is on television sci Fi twenty eleven sci <v Speaker 8>Fi Channel, fucking Odin has a fucking mac ten as <v Speaker 8>his weapon when he comes back to New York Dinosaurs. <v Speaker 6>I played Odin. <v Speaker 8>Uh was it one episode? <v Speaker 14>Yeah, it was it was it was a made for <v Speaker 14>uh television movie that it was some TV movie exclusive <v Speaker 14>sci Fi. <v Speaker 3>That's all he says about it. That's all he fucking <v Speaker 3>says about it. I don't blame him. Just fucking ends there. <v Speaker 3>All right, let's said the better Sean. <v Speaker 10>I love you, but watch the fucking movie before you <v Speaker 10>do the episode. I know, Oh, you're not the whole thing. <v Speaker 10>Just familiarize yourself, have something to ask about the actual movie. <v Speaker 10>But that that's uh, that's tremendous. I mean just I <v Speaker 10>can't wait now to watch the scene where they come <v Speaker 10>out of the water. <v Speaker 3>It's so. I mean, I don't even think that they <v Speaker 3>even come out of the water, like I think they <v Speaker 3>they if I remember correctly, like they literally like someone <v Speaker 3>turns around and they're there, like they didn't come out <v Speaker 3>of the water. They're just fucking you know. It's so, <v Speaker 3>I mean, it is. There there are student films that <v Speaker 3>are better than this. Oh my god, I can imagine. <v Speaker 3>It's so. It's and it's one of those movies that <v Speaker 3>you know, you know, there are there are very talented <v Speaker 3>filmmakers who can shoot. I'll tell you what, I'll even give. <v Speaker 3>I will give the guy who directed the the CM <v Speaker 3>punk movie whatever the fuck his name is with the study. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>they did a good job. He did a good job. <v Speaker 3>You know, he shot it's shot on video because everything <v Speaker 3>shot on video, and it just like they he did <v Speaker 3>a good job with it. He did a good job <v Speaker 3>making he made a good movie. Yeah, you know, he <v Speaker 3>didn't have a. <v Speaker 10>Good movie to deal with, and he did a good <v Speaker 10>job with it. This is probably this is this was <v Speaker 10>a bad job of a bad movie. <v Speaker 3>Awful, awful. I mean, I'm curious how it compares to <v Speaker 3>to Almighty thor with you. Yeah, yep, so we move on. <v Speaker 3>That's all Kevin Nash has to say about the fucking picture. <v Speaker 3>Sid said, Vicious said, ud, welcome to under the cinemat. <v Speaker 3>Sid never expected that, and he's I've got quite a <v Speaker 3>few movies, is that right, dude? He did like three <v Speaker 3>with this fucking clown who's directed this. Yeah, he is <v Speaker 3>such a fucking yeah he. So where Sid was at <v Speaker 3>this time? <v Speaker 5>Uh? <v Speaker 3>I guess he was in the midst of a comeback <v Speaker 3>of sorts with Memphis Wrestling. He was like like two <v Speaker 3>thousand and eight, two thousand and nine, he was in <v Speaker 3>a feud with Jerry Lawler and Memphis. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. <v Speaker 3>He shut up on raw too. Yeah. I think like <v Speaker 3>once or twice. Yeahah. And he also did a he <v Speaker 3>was on a European tour in two thousand and nine <v Speaker 3>with American Wrestling Rampage. I guess he went undefeated in <v Speaker 3>that tour. Right now. What makes Sid an interesting thing <v Speaker 3>for this movie is that he is the only one <v Speaker 3>who did a recorded interview promoting the film, like actually <v Speaker 3>an interview that was about promoting the film, or at <v Speaker 3>least I can say this. It's the only one that <v Speaker 3>I could find that survived. You know, maybe there are <v Speaker 3>some with Kurt Angle that are out there that you know, <v Speaker 3>he whatever, But this one I actually found and it's <v Speaker 3>I do a few clips from of Sid from this <v Speaker 3>show called Without Your Head, Without Your Head, and he <v Speaker 3>shares a lot about his experience. Uh first he here, <v Speaker 3>he here Sid. He talks about, uh, first where you <v Speaker 3>can buy the DVD, and then how he was cast <v Speaker 3>in the project. <v Speaker 11>Well' from I understanding is a red Boxes and now <v Speaker 11>it's supposed to be also at uh today's today. I <v Speaker 11>think he's supposed to be the big day today? Is <v Speaker 11>it supposed to be going into walmarts? Okay, now that's <v Speaker 11>my understanding. Guys. Now, uh, these things change from day <v Speaker 11>to day. <v Speaker 4>How were your approach to, you know, being the movie? <v Speaker 11>Well, Brits and his brother they've been doing these movies <v Speaker 11>for a while and he called me a year or <v Speaker 11>so before they want to think about the movie and <v Speaker 11>asked me if I was interested. Yeah. I said, yeah, <v Speaker 11>they're a pretty good, pretty big independent movie. The company <v Speaker 11>you know, I just did a second one with him. <v Speaker 11>It's an Ash and Hero type of deal. They actually <v Speaker 11>get some really good equipment in there. <v Speaker 5>Uh. <v Speaker 11>The cool thing about River Darkness was and this this <v Speaker 11>is boring stuff most people, but in the in the <v Speaker 11>movie industry, it's location and and you know, uh, casting, <v Speaker 11>this was, up to me, one of the best casting, <v Speaker 11>one of the best casting movies I'd ever get in. <v Speaker 11>We had, uh, you know what you try to do <v Speaker 11>these movies and all movies and these you know, smaller <v Speaker 11>movies that you've started being some star power. So star <v Speaker 11>power they had with me, Kurt Angele and Kevin Nass. <v Speaker 11>It's a scary movie, and they went out and got <v Speaker 11>one of the greatest scary people of all time, the <v Speaker 11>gentleman who's the original zombie and I a living dead. <v Speaker 11>I can't remember his name, Bill Hines, And that's thank <v Speaker 11>you so for me. You know, guys, I've always been <v Speaker 11>intrigued with horror movies and comedy comedy movies. Those are <v Speaker 11>my two favorite things and I love to read both <v Speaker 11>of those. And uh so, you know, being a horror <v Speaker 11>person that to me, have Bill Hinen on the deal <v Speaker 11>is like having to get to play baseball with Dave Ruth. <v Speaker 11>I mean it really was. And then if you want <v Speaker 11>to go over the top with it a little bit. <v Speaker 11>And then we got to kill because in a scene <v Speaker 11>is in a fishing boat. You know, so that to me, <v Speaker 11>I mean you just for me. That had to be <v Speaker 11>one of the greatest bones in my you know, short <v Speaker 11>action career. <v Speaker 3>Okay, sid you need star power, that's why you get me. <v Speaker 3>I'm contracted to be star power. Can you let me know? Boss? <v Speaker 10>Be sure don't miss it when the babe Ruth of <v Speaker 10>horror movie shows up on screen. <v Speaker 3>Oh man, it's a joke. It's such a fucking joke already. <v Speaker 3>Is Kurt Angle though? Is the one calling a shot <v Speaker 3>right and and injecting shots as well? Apparently I'm going <v Speaker 3>to show you the guy and you'll never find him <v Speaker 3>in the movie because it's I mean, you don't recognize him, <v Speaker 3>because I mean, I don't know how many people have <v Speaker 3>seen him since you know what you've seen, since he <v Speaker 3>since he's also you know, as a guy, as someone <v Speaker 3>who's only seen him. I've only seen him in Night <v Speaker 3>of Living Dead that I'm aware of, and so I've <v Speaker 3>only seen him in black and white. I don't know <v Speaker 3>what he fucking what he fucking looks like. Right right here, <v Speaker 3>I'm sending a picture of the guy, and you can <v Speaker 3>see if you can find this guy. All right, we'll <v Speaker 3>be on the lookout, you know, like I don't. He's nowhere. <v Speaker 3>It's like a guy in a Halloween costume. Yeah, right, exactly, <v Speaker 3>that's what he is. Yeah. I mean the way they <v Speaker 3>did zombies and not living dead for the most part, <v Speaker 3>until they I don't know, they kind of got a <v Speaker 3>little bit better. Was they just painted their faces gray <v Speaker 3>and gave them dark eye sockets. That's what they did. <v Speaker 3>But I'm want to main event this movie. If I <v Speaker 3>don't main invent this movie, I will walk. <v Speaker 10>Well said, we want to accommodate you, But I think <v Speaker 10>the problem here is a bit of a language barrier. <v Speaker 10>If that's the way to put it, What do you <v Speaker 10>mean main event movie. I don't understand what you mean <v Speaker 10>by that. The top draw, Yeah, but that's to be <v Speaker 10>determined me. People want me in the movie. <v Speaker 3>Well agreed, that's why we want to bring you on. <v Speaker 3>But I'm gonna be sure I know what you're If <v Speaker 3>you don't let me have time to play softball, I <v Speaker 3>walk go home. <v Speaker 10>Okay, Well, now we're talking about something totally different. Okay, Well, <v Speaker 10>we've already talked about that. We're fine with that. I <v Speaker 10>never said we and. <v Speaker 3>I play softball. I'm not contractually obligated to do anything. Well, <v Speaker 3>I would disagree with that said, I mean, in fairness, <v Speaker 3>you have side of the contract. I'm the man. I <v Speaker 3>can go home right now, back to Arkansas. You think <v Speaker 3>this is valid? Do you think this piece of paper <v Speaker 3>commits me to do anything? Watch what I hate to <v Speaker 3>Do you think that a piece of paper? Do you <v Speaker 3>think that a piece of paper any control over? <v Speaker 10>The master and the ruler of the world slaps the <v Speaker 10>thing down and writes void on it like a bad check. <v Speaker 3>Do you see this thing in my hand? You fuck? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? <v Speaker 10>Call him a fox sided in my hand. Call him <v Speaker 10>something else besides the fuck right now. <v Speaker 3>You fucking bitch and conte alright, you think you're a man, <v Speaker 3>You think you have what it takes to take down <v Speaker 3>see it. I will not let no fucking bitch ass <v Speaker 3>puny producer takedown. It calls the producer of the film <v Speaker 3>a bitch ass. Here's my contract, you fuck. I do <v Speaker 3>expect to get paid today? Well the terms of your payment. <v Speaker 3>We're in that field you just riped out. <v Speaker 16>Now you look into my right now. Do you see <v Speaker 16>something in my eye? Yeah, it looks like I don't know, <v Speaker 16>maybe a piece of cotton. <v Speaker 3>No, what you look, you look into my right now, <v Speaker 3>and what you going to seize? You? You see you reflecting, <v Speaker 3>and that, my friend, is fear. <v Speaker 10>He rips the contract up, and the next thing he <v Speaker 10>says is now I expect to be paid today. Because <v Speaker 10>it's almost like he has like he has to hide it, <v Speaker 10>but he has this tinge of like whoa, Like what <v Speaker 10>I just do? <v Speaker 3>Like what if? What if they don't pay me all <v Speaker 3>of a sudden? I need my paycheck. I have to <v Speaker 3>pay my rent. Before you go thinking that me ripping <v Speaker 3>up the contract is something you can use to withhold pay. <v Speaker 3>I have done something symbolically, and I will take you <v Speaker 3>to court. That's right, officer, He said, he did something symbolically. <v Speaker 3>What you're rotten out, blues Cohler A symbolically rip my contract. <v Speaker 3>The real contract is not ripped because the real contract <v Speaker 3>easy in my mind. <v Speaker 10>Oh, we've got the working title for the book. The <v Speaker 10>real contract is in my mind, said Duty's journey through <v Speaker 10>a professional wrestling and life. <v Speaker 9>He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast with Jack and Corn <v Speaker 9>and JP Sorrow. <v Speaker 4>He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast. <v Speaker 3>Next up here, he he We've commented on this a <v Speaker 3>couple of times, but how he's commenting here how horror <v Speaker 3>movies horror movie villains rather are a great basis for <v Speaker 3>pro wrestling villains. So here he is talking about that. <v Speaker 17>Do you see any similarities between like like a horror <v Speaker 17>movie villain and horror movie mons ding like a big <v Speaker 17>man wrestler. <v Speaker 11>There is a lot of similarities, you know, to guys. <v Speaker 11>When I did all my interview back work and stuff <v Speaker 11>like that, I always got it out of horror books. <v Speaker 11>It was why it would come out of different books, <v Speaker 11>you know, oddly enough, a daily devotional ease to ready David, <v Speaker 11>Billy Graham. I got it cool stuff out of that <v Speaker 11>through but a lot of them out of horror books, <v Speaker 11>you know, because that's what I wouldn't my character be <v Speaker 11>was sort of scary. <v Speaker 3>Do you remember one he talks to he I remember, <v Speaker 3>I remember in one of the European tour videos there <v Speaker 3>in the home video collection there UK Rampage. I remember <v Speaker 3>he quotes Night of the Something, Night of the Joker, <v Speaker 3>Note of the I don't remember I remember something that <v Speaker 3>was a weird book or something that he quoted her. <v Speaker 10>So he said he would study Billy Graham's daily devotions. <v Speaker 10>That what he's saying yes, yes, he would never knew <v Speaker 10>that about him. He studies everything. <v Speaker 3>I didn't know that about him either. Yeah, difference is one, <v Speaker 3>it's truth. One is lie. He's a student, is what <v Speaker 3>he is right of what we are still waiting to <v Speaker 3>find out. And this was great. This next one is great. <v Speaker 3>The host, this guy wherever the fuck his name is uh. <v Speaker 3>He talked about Kurt. He talked about Kurt Angle a bit, <v Speaker 3>and then he asked Sid if he ever had met <v Speaker 3>Angle prior to the movie. And I want you to <v Speaker 3>see if you can catch Sid's contradiction here. <v Speaker 4>Kurt Angle, He's got the major role in the movies <v Speaker 4>The Sheriff. Now, had you known Kurt Angle before doing <v Speaker 4>the movie with him? <v Speaker 11>No? I had not. <v Speaker 4>Well, what was your impression of him? <v Speaker 11>Well, he wasn't there for the first movie. He did <v Speaker 11>on the Road, and I me and him did the <v Speaker 11>second movie together. Kevin wasn't on the second one. The <v Speaker 11>second one I got the meeting. We were doing a <v Speaker 11>lot of hands on the stuff together. He was a <v Speaker 11>really good guy. Now, I met Kirk when he first <v Speaker 11>started the business guys, and he was coming to Memphis. <v Speaker 11>And I know this for a fact, that guy worked <v Speaker 11>his way to where he's at. You know, he was <v Speaker 11>working in Meshis Territory. He was working in Louisville Territory. <v Speaker 11>He was doing spot shows at WWF. He was working <v Speaker 11>seventeen days as the week man. So he I knew <v Speaker 11>that he was going to make. <v Speaker 3>It okay, seventeen days a week. I never met him before. <v Speaker 3>I met him in Memphis years ago. I've known him <v Speaker 3>for years. I mean, how can you do business with <v Speaker 3>this man? How can you talk to this man? He <v Speaker 3>literally said, nonsense for this whole fucking, this whole sentence, here, <v Speaker 3>this whole question. <v Speaker 10>Absolutely, I what did he say in I'm your brain? <v Speaker 10>Your brain is my brain is smaller than yours. <v Speaker 3>A fucking idiot. Oh yeah, that's it. <v Speaker 10>Okay, it all stops tonight. See Nash, you can wear <v Speaker 10>any Halloween costume you wont to. But you know what, <v Speaker 10>I know, you're only half the man that I am, <v Speaker 10>and I have half the brain. <v Speaker 3>That you do. Here's a little scary movie season tie <v Speaker 3>in with the Halloween like you want to. Barry said, <v Speaker 3>just let him keep talking, you know, seriously, just let <v Speaker 3>him go. Don't give him a fucking you know, don't <v Speaker 3>give him any any scripts or bullet points, leim talk, <v Speaker 3>He'll get, He'll get, he'll he'll take care of himself. <v Speaker 3>Sure will ye. Let me tell you the first time <v Speaker 3>I'm met Kurt was all the movies sent for River <v Speaker 3>to Darkness. Yes, it was the first time i met him, <v Speaker 3>and he is a great guy. But I've known him <v Speaker 3>since Memphis. We met a long time ago. Did you <v Speaker 3>ever know when you did the movie with Kurt? Said? <v Speaker 3>Have you ever met him before? Nope? First time? Nope. <v Speaker 10>Okay, However, we grew up together, and I'll tell you this. <v Speaker 10>When we were playing together on the playground. We were <v Speaker 10>in the same youth soccer team, and I'll tell you <v Speaker 10>it was really really hard to pass the ball to <v Speaker 10>someone i'd never met. <v Speaker 3>So had you ever met Kurt Angle before that? <v Speaker 6>No? <v Speaker 3>We met for the first time on River of Darkness. <v Speaker 3>But let me tell you something about Kurt Angle. He <v Speaker 3>and I grew up next to each other. We used <v Speaker 3>to play together as kids. You ever meet Kurt before <v Speaker 3>this movie? <v Speaker 6>No? <v Speaker 10>First time I met him doing the movie. But I'll <v Speaker 10>tell you what. When we were both eleven, we made <v Speaker 10>out to get other. <v Speaker 3>Did you ever meet Kurdangle before this movie? <v Speaker 6>No? <v Speaker 3>I never met him before this movie. But I can <v Speaker 3>tell you something. He and I lost our virginity together <v Speaker 3>at the same time with the same woman when we <v Speaker 3>were nine years old. <v Speaker 10>I guess it doesn't count as meeting. Had you met <v Speaker 10>Kurt Angle before you did this movie? He said, no, No, <v Speaker 10>this is the first time I met him. Great guy. <v Speaker 10>But I'll tell you one thing. I had a case <v Speaker 10>idea for lunch. I know you are ready for that one. <v Speaker 3>So if you did you ever meet Kurt Angle before <v Speaker 3>this movie? No? No, I never met him before River <v Speaker 3>of Darkness. But he's a great guy. But let me <v Speaker 3>tell you something. I like to eat porridge in the morning. <v Speaker 3>All right, I'm done. One last one. Now tell me <v Speaker 3>before you did this movie you had you ever met <v Speaker 3>her before? <v Speaker 11>No? <v Speaker 3>Never, This was the first time. He's a great guy. <v Speaker 3>But I'll tell you something. I rode to this interview <v Speaker 3>in the popemobile. You wanna fucking play? We'll play? Is <v Speaker 3>that fucking cast? It's under the cinemat? Did you ever <v Speaker 3>meet did you meet it Cretica before this movie? <v Speaker 8>No? <v Speaker 3>I met him on River of Darkness. Great guy. But <v Speaker 3>let me tell you something. When I'm at home alone, <v Speaker 3>I like to dance a chicken underwear. I'm not gonna <v Speaker 3>fire back, I declared, I hereby declare ces fire all right, <v Speaker 3>get a truth. He won that one with the pomobile. <v Speaker 3>Anyway I can fucking do after that. That's a fucking <v Speaker 3>sure win. Oh fuck. And then uh so the movie <v Speaker 3>was a uh you know, a reunion of sorts with <v Speaker 3>with for Sitting and Nash, you know, and he shared <v Speaker 3>a few stories of about Kevin Nash. <v Speaker 4>What was it like get you know, working with Kevin <v Speaker 4>Nash in the movie, Well. <v Speaker 11>It was it was like working with you thing. Kevin <v Speaker 11>is really easy to work with. <v Speaker 3>Man, It's like a day off. <v Speaker 11>I mean and Kevin go back a long way. Kevin <v Speaker 11>first started in the business. I just started the business, <v Speaker 11>and we made some of our first trips together and <v Speaker 11>we made I remember one we were coming back from <v Speaker 11>Mary in Indiana one night and we took the wrong <v Speaker 11>road he was going back into Indianapolis and we almost <v Speaker 11>ended up in Chicago. So me and Kevin go back <v Speaker 11>a long way. So it was nice to see Kevin, <v Speaker 11>and it's always nice to do something with him like <v Speaker 11>that or anything we do. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, uh, you know. <v Speaker 17>One action with Kevin Ash for his funder wrestling, and <v Speaker 17>you know he had some uh you know, and that's <v Speaker 17>a great gimmicks. Did you think he would eventually, you know, <v Speaker 17>find the right one and become a big star. Did <v Speaker 17>you say, you know, maybe you wouldn't stick around very long? <v Speaker 11>Yeah? What, No, I knew he was going to stick around. <v Speaker 11>And let me say you a real quick, funny story <v Speaker 11>about this whole thing. You got a couple of minutes. <v Speaker 11>Listen what it was. He started out him and that <v Speaker 11>guy named Kooy what they call them master basters. Yeah, yeah, okay, <v Speaker 11>Well he handing Koy maybe their first trip on the <v Speaker 11>road with me in dutch Man tail. And the deal <v Speaker 11>was is they were working against Mike Rotunda and Tim Horner, <v Speaker 11>you know, two guys who were just supposed to get <v Speaker 11>him over. And it was a real you know that <v Speaker 11>started off the fashiony Champions really thud where Coy missed <v Speaker 11>the head about five feet remember that, uh huh? And <v Speaker 11>it just got downhill from there. So we left and <v Speaker 11>go on the road from there on to till the <v Speaker 11>pay per view. That's the high one we was on <v Speaker 11>the road, and I think pretty much that So we <v Speaker 11>started up somewhere and just ended up driving into Chicago <v Speaker 11>one night. But what it was is that all between <v Speaker 11>that they were having a match with Rotunda and Tim Horner. <v Speaker 11>This was the finish. It was they were getting to <v Speaker 11>heal Mikerotunda. He do This is what was so corny <v Speaker 11>because he was doing the Captain Mike Rotunda. He did <v Speaker 11>a silly victory role. Hot tag, Tim Horner, Tim Morren <v Speaker 11>came in and they come back. They stopped him and <v Speaker 11>did the fitness right. Every every night, guys, it got <v Speaker 11>worse and worse and worse. Kevin was taking it pretty easy. <v Speaker 11>He was you know, if you can't speed up, that <v Speaker 11>Coley guy was flipping out. Now by the time we <v Speaker 11>got we decided to keep our tickets and drive to Chicago. <v Speaker 11>We was always in a van together town. We got <v Speaker 11>to Chicago that night, I had that gut Coley so <v Speaker 11>wound up. He quit and went home the next day. <v Speaker 3>I don't understand anything that happened really there. <v Speaker 10>Uh now I know the original Kevin Nash Master Blaster <v Speaker 10>partner did just last one night and ended up. I <v Speaker 10>think he ended up in witness protection for being involved <v Speaker 10>in drug running in a motorcycle gang. <v Speaker 3>And I, wow, that's awesome. <v Speaker 10>Talked about that before. He Uh, he definitely was an <v Speaker 10>interesting guy, but he was the shits. I mean, yeah, <v Speaker 10>just a body, you know, that was all he was. <v Speaker 10>They found that out quick. The best part about that <v Speaker 10>about that whole clip is Sid asking the interviewer if <v Speaker 10>he's got time to hear a story. <v Speaker 3>Well, you know, Unfortunately, Sid, we set this interview up <v Speaker 3>and we didn't factor in that we would have to <v Speaker 3>give you time to answer the question. So we've got <v Speaker 3>to wrap it up here. But excuse me, I am <v Speaker 3>contracted for a time. My god, it would have been <v Speaker 3>legendary if that guy said nope and then asked a <v Speaker 3>different question. I think it would have been I mean, <v Speaker 3>that would have been just amazing. Everyone's too fucking careful <v Speaker 3>with these guys. We'll get back to Sid a little <v Speaker 3>bit later. I do want to close on him for now. <v Speaker 3>And this The interview took place right before Shawn Michaels <v Speaker 3>was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Sid is <v Speaker 3>asked to share his thoughts about Sean going into the <v Speaker 3>Hall of Fame this weekend. <v Speaker 17>Is Shawn Michaels is going in the Hall of Fame? <v Speaker 17>Are you happy for him? <v Speaker 18>Yeah? <v Speaker 3>I am. <v Speaker 11>If that's what you're looking at. Full guys, what. <v Speaker 17>This weekend is Shawn Michaels is going in the Hall <v Speaker 17>of Fame? Are you happy for him? <v Speaker 18>Yeah? <v Speaker 11>I am if that's what you're looking fool guys. <v Speaker 3>So so you're happy for him, if that's what that's <v Speaker 3>what these these interviewers are looking for. <v Speaker 10>My brain has started and stopped about seven times since <v Speaker 10>I heard that in terms of like, what is the <v Speaker 10>thing to say? <v Speaker 3>It's it is? It is one of the most It's <v Speaker 3>one of the hardest clips to really understand. I think <v Speaker 3>this is the kind of clip that you go back <v Speaker 3>and analyze for years to figure out what actually happened. <v Speaker 10>Because sid like, can we stop pretending that the idea <v Speaker 10>of this interview is you saying the things we want <v Speaker 10>you to say, Like, I mean, no, you see, we're <v Speaker 10>asking you the question what's beautiful about it is? You <v Speaker 10>can answer it whatever way you want to. Most people <v Speaker 10>who get interviewed understand that this guy's like, do we <v Speaker 10>have time? Is this the answer you want? <v Speaker 3>I mean, do you want me to be happy for <v Speaker 3>Sean Michaels, Because if that's what you want, I can <v Speaker 3>be happy for him. Well, I can't think of a <v Speaker 3>louder way to say you're not happy for him than <v Speaker 3>that answered that he just gave. Because do you want <v Speaker 3>me to be not happy? I can be not happy <v Speaker 3>for Shawn Michaels or Dragle. Listen, I'm willing to play ball. <v Speaker 3>I like softball. I'm willing to play ball here. Which <v Speaker 3>way do you want me to go? It makes it <v Speaker 3>sounds so menacing and an answer to a question, Hey, <v Speaker 3>sid that guy who who puts you over at Survivor's <v Speaker 3>series ninety six, Are you happy for him going to <v Speaker 3>the fucking Hall of Fame? Right? I'm not sure how <v Speaker 3>to answer that question. Honestly, I appreciated him doing the <v Speaker 3>honors for me. If that's what you want. <v Speaker 19>Guys, I don't have to go to the bathroom if <v Speaker 19>that's what you want, right exactly. <v Speaker 3>I don't have to open my windows in a car <v Speaker 3>wash if that's what you want. I don't have to <v Speaker 3>pick my amus with a spoon. <v Speaker 10>I don't have to attack the guy from Publisher's clearing <v Speaker 10>house with a pot full of boiling spaghetti water if that's. <v Speaker 3>What you want. I don't have to eat at Dog's <v Speaker 3>if that's what you want. I don't have to watch <v Speaker 3>a bronx tail. If that's what you want, I don't <v Speaker 3>have to put my head underneath the couch. If that's <v Speaker 3>what you want. I don't have to ride through town <v Speaker 3>standing motionless in a flat bread in the flatbed of <v Speaker 3>a stranger's pickup truck. If that's what you want, I <v Speaker 3>don't have to ride a child's tricycle down to the <v Speaker 3>grocery store. If that's what you want, all right, you win. <v Speaker 3>It's kind of derivative of Dan Spivey walking to the <v Speaker 3>ham sandwich shot. But I get Vickim Sid in full clothes, <v Speaker 3>fucking knees jetting out every time he pedals passing Whale <v Speaker 3>at Mercy going the opposite way with a bag of <v Speaker 3>ham on your right. <v Speaker 1>Bitch. <v Speaker 3>What a weird fucking guy. Sid's got to be the <v Speaker 3>weirdest guy in wrestling. He really might be. <v Speaker 10>Every time I watch him say something or recount something, <v Speaker 10>it's like where did he get that from? <v Speaker 3>Also, like he's he's even his plaid shirts make you <v Speaker 3>feel uncomfortable. Oh, very yeah, they're very disturbing. He always <v Speaker 3>wears a fucking you know, uh, some kind of plaid <v Speaker 3>uh shirt, and. <v Speaker 10>He's this maniacal giant and dumb as the day is long. Yeah, <v Speaker 10>but yet he's dressing like a nerd in a movie <v Speaker 10>in the eighties. <v Speaker 3>Right, right, or like some fucking farmer. And he just <v Speaker 3>makes you feel so uncomfortable. Yeah, and that and that <v Speaker 3>face and also the I don't know everything about him, <v Speaker 3>he's just he's just wrong. <v Speaker 10>Let me He jumped off the ropes in WCW and <v Speaker 10>snapped his body in half? What was he thinking coming <v Speaker 10>off that metal rope? <v Speaker 3>Can I tell you? I am? I cannot believe that <v Speaker 3>that show has not come across our I know you <v Speaker 3>know that that that's that's one that's like probably besides <v Speaker 3>Hogan in the Bash of the Beach two thousand, that's <v Speaker 3>like probably the WCW show that you know, like like <v Speaker 3>garbage show that is. I can't believe we haven't done <v Speaker 3>No Hopper, Right, So we'll see maybe always maybe next week. <v Speaker 3>So let's go to Glacier. Uh. What do you know <v Speaker 3>about ray Lloyd? Not much? Yeah, I know he's from uh, Georgia, right, <v Speaker 3>He's from Georgia. Born into a law enforcement family. Apparently <v Speaker 3>a fan of wrestling from early on, his dad would <v Speaker 3>take him to the matches. He went on a YouTube <v Speaker 3>this was. This was like one of the most bizarre <v Speaker 3>interview setups. Number one. It looked like it looked like <v Speaker 3>the hotel we stayed at at Schomberg. Probably was. It <v Speaker 3>might have been. But it's a show called The Ted Show, okay, <v Speaker 3>And I don't really know what this guy does, but <v Speaker 3>he sits there and talks, and Glacier was recommended I <v Speaker 3>think by his producer or something. This guy knows nothing <v Speaker 3>of wrestling, tremendous. He knows nothing of wrestling. And they <v Speaker 3>so they kind of sit kind of at an at <v Speaker 3>angles like the camera, you know, they sit kind of <v Speaker 3>facing the camera, but kind of at angles with each other. <v Speaker 3>But this guy never looks Glacier in the eye. He <v Speaker 3>always looks to the camera or off to the side. <v Speaker 3>Glacier always looking at this guy. It's so fucking weird. <v Speaker 3>It's hilarious, and it's exactly how I really your wrestler <v Speaker 3>should be treated, honestly, that's really what it comes down to. <v Speaker 3>But either way, this is him talking to Ted. This <v Speaker 3>is ray Lloyd, mister generic talking to Ted on The <v Speaker 3>Ted Show about how he broke into the business. <v Speaker 20>You get your masters, you teach in middle school for <v Speaker 20>thirteen years years and then how do you make the <v Speaker 20>jump so to fee into the ring? <v Speaker 3>How do you get to that? <v Speaker 1>I have no idea. <v Speaker 21>Actually, I grew up a huge wrestling fan, like a <v Speaker 21>lot of kids in the seventies in South Georgia. My <v Speaker 21>dad would take my brother and not to the old <v Speaker 21>Jacksonville Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida, where championship wrestling from Florida <v Speaker 21>was huge. <v Speaker 1>And of course my childhood heroes. <v Speaker 21>Were Dusty Rules at Ewokneve and so fortunately Dusty became <v Speaker 21>one of my mentors later in my wrestling career, which is, yeah, <v Speaker 21>that's awesome. And maybe for another episode, I can take <v Speaker 21>all the great Dusty stories. <v Speaker 3>There's a million of them. <v Speaker 1>We would love to. <v Speaker 21>But uh, this comes down to, you know, my decision <v Speaker 21>to get into wrestling. <v Speaker 1>One of my favorite coaches. <v Speaker 21>Hearing to me by one of my coaches who says, <v Speaker 21>it's not necessarily what you know or who you know <v Speaker 21>who's willing to say they know you. <v Speaker 3>He's such a fucking moron. This guy's way too happy <v Speaker 3>for being a failure. Yeah he's fine, he's fine. He <v Speaker 3>had a nice little career. Now, I mean sure he <v Speaker 3>made money, he made a living, but like this guy <v Speaker 3>so fucking positive and annoys me. <v Speaker 22>Yeah, yeah, I know. <v Speaker 3>What do you mean? You know he's just so fucking annoying. <v Speaker 10>Well, there's you know, there's two kinds of wrestlers as <v Speaker 10>far as like retired wrestlers. They're they're like the better <v Speaker 10>ones that are like ultra sarcastic and like, you know, <v Speaker 10>calling everyone a dick and complaining about payoff to this day. <v Speaker 10>And then they're the ones who think they might just <v Speaker 10>have a future motivational speaking right. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, yeah, he's friends and you know who he's friends with. <v Speaker 3>He's friends with fucking Mark Merrow. Yeah exactly. He sounds <v Speaker 3>just like that guy. It's just so and he did that. <v Speaker 3>He's I'll tell you if you look at his and <v Speaker 3>his IMDb page, go there right now, go there, right now. <v Speaker 3>Ray Lloyd's ray Lloyd, Yes, because look at his fucking <v Speaker 3>headshot there. Oh no, not that one. Where's the one <v Speaker 3>that's not the one that's annoying too, But there's there's <v Speaker 3>oh okay under his photo, look at my fucking idiot <v Speaker 3>face all the way to the right that one. You know, <v Speaker 3>there's I knew, like, oh god, that fucking like you know, <v Speaker 3>this guy, this guy come get me right. He reminds <v Speaker 3>me of a guy that I did a show with, <v Speaker 3>and you know he's he fucking smile like you know, <v Speaker 3>I'm just a normal guy. But don't you want me? <v Speaker 3>You know that kind of vibe, like you know, so <v Speaker 3>fucking ironic. I understand, I und sad where you're coming from, <v Speaker 3>just way till I mean, his his fucking part in <v Speaker 3>the movie is amazing. So do you remember? You know, <v Speaker 3>I'll leave I'll leave the whole Glacier story to you. <v Speaker 3>I'm gonna talk about what happens afterwards for the most part. <v Speaker 3>But do you do you remember? What? Do you remember? <v Speaker 3>And his tenure in w CW like late that he <v Speaker 3>had been rebranded. Oh he was rebranded and regimmicked as <v Speaker 3>coach Buzzes. Yes, yes, yes, I had no idea that this. <v Speaker 3>I forgot about it myself. Yeah, as we should. But <v Speaker 3>here's Coach buzz Stern for those who need reminding. <v Speaker 22>All right, listen up, gentlemen, I need eyes and years <v Speaker 22>open and your mouth shut. My name is buzz Stern. <v Speaker 22>But that's Coach Stern. All of you got it? Now, <v Speaker 22>You gentlemen won't be winners. Well, I can make you <v Speaker 22>a winner. But in order to be a part of <v Speaker 22>my team, you gotta follow my rules and they are <v Speaker 22>your clock. Broke son, what are you some kind of idiot? <v Speaker 22>Just get in a seat, take a seat now, Like <v Speaker 22>I will say it, number one, Ah, make all the rules, <v Speaker 22>got it? Room number two. If you have any question <v Speaker 22>at all, you need to refer back to room number one. Now, <v Speaker 22>I'm not saying everybody's cut out for this because this <v Speaker 22>is a tough, tough business. So remember, if you can't <v Speaker 22>be an athlete, well you can always be. <v Speaker 2>An athletic supporter. <v Speaker 22>But if you've got the guts to be a winner, they. <v Speaker 2>Need to follow Coach Stearns three s's. <v Speaker 22>And they are sweat plus sacrifice equals success. <v Speaker 3>Success. You got it? <v Speaker 4>So who's winning me? <v Speaker 3>Man? <v Speaker 4>You got it in your heart? <v Speaker 12>Who's with me? <v Speaker 3>Oh? <v Speaker 10>I'm run through I'm gonna run through a wall for <v Speaker 10>this guy. <v Speaker 3>You know, gimmicks where, especially when it's a wrestler playing <v Speaker 3>somebody from another sport who's coming into wrestling, it's just <v Speaker 3>not gonna work. It's just stupid, Agreed, It's so stupid, <v Speaker 3>Like why there is no legitimate athlete who you know <v Speaker 3>or there are a few legitimate athletes who had actually <v Speaker 3>choose to become wrestlers instead of their career that made <v Speaker 3>them more money and then made the more money. That's right. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, there was a time period like in the fifties, forties, <v Speaker 10>thirties where sure, you know. <v Speaker 3>During the off season, during the off season. <v Speaker 10>Well, now, ernie lads gray Up picked wrestling a full <v Speaker 10>time NFL football career because he could make more. <v Speaker 3>He's one. Now, I know, Broncos gild be another Jim Browning. <v Speaker 3>I think it was another. <v Speaker 10>I mean yeah, Triple h yes and uh Gus Sonenberg <v Speaker 10>and Austin Yeah, yeah, I understand Michaels as well. But <v Speaker 10>like or I guess even a coach, like how often <v Speaker 10>do you see a fucking coach? Yeah, I know, you know, <v Speaker 10>it's like fucking Bill Belichick deciding he's going to become <v Speaker 10>a wrestling star. <v Speaker 3>Hilarious, you know. So anyway, I mean, I know a <v Speaker 3>lot of sport of the sports guys they all trained that, <v Speaker 3>I mean obviously, and there's there's guys like Mango and <v Speaker 3>Kevin Green and whatever. But it's just like when it's <v Speaker 3>a real thing, it makes sense. When a guy does <v Speaker 3>it like this, it's stupid. Yeah. So you know, after that, <v Speaker 3>he was sent home November twenty nine and that was <v Speaker 3>it except for you know, the time he came back <v Speaker 3>as Glacier and they kind of made fun of him <v Speaker 3>for being Glacier. Oh, they did that, They made fun <v Speaker 3>of it. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, God, so easy to forget this stuff. And then <v Speaker 3>he was gone again. He left six weeks before w <v Speaker 3>CW Wow went under. So you know, despite his I mean, <v Speaker 3>i'll s call it the infamy of his WCW run, <v Speaker 3>he does hold the business and he's still to this <v Speaker 3>day holds the business in high regard. He did an <v Speaker 3>interview on this podcast called Mississippi Minute where he talks <v Speaker 3>about wait for it, the magic of wrestling. Yes, gosh, <v Speaker 3>some magic rushling. Oh we know that real. <v Speaker 23>Well, when we're growing up, we don't want to hear <v Speaker 23>that it's a performance or it's a show. We want <v Speaker 23>to hear that you guys are going at each other <v Speaker 23>and this is serious and there's real fire and uh, <v Speaker 23>you know, there's there's real biting. Now, Uh, tell me <v Speaker 23>about give me some of the can you give away <v Speaker 23>at this point in your life some of the secrets <v Speaker 23>of bleeding and you know that you have blood pills <v Speaker 23>in your mouth or you know, you know what I'm saying. <v Speaker 23>I want to I want to hear about that and <v Speaker 23>how much of it was truly physical because you are <v Speaker 23>getting slung around, right, and you're using your body to <v Speaker 23>sling people around, so and you're hitting each other like trucks, <v Speaker 23>you know, constantly, not you know, trains come colliding over <v Speaker 23>and over. I need to hear it. So I think <v Speaker 23>I've asked a couple of questions. I can't remember, but <v Speaker 23>I'm hoping you can. <v Speaker 11>I can sell you this. <v Speaker 18>I was just talking to one of my fellow my <v Speaker 18>business partner, QC. Marshall. We were just talking about this yesterday. <v Speaker 18>Is that by far? You know people say that, well, <v Speaker 18>but the internet wrestling is exposed now it's you know, <v Speaker 18>people don't know how it's done or whatever. What that <v Speaker 18>because I always you know, what I was always taught, <v Speaker 18>is we in professional wrestling. You know, we create magic <v Speaker 18>when we go out there. That's what we do. It's <v Speaker 18>I don't necessarily like the word sports entertainment, but it <v Speaker 18>is very much a combination of athleticism and performance. It <v Speaker 18>really is still by far the question I get asked <v Speaker 18>the most, still to this day, even though we have <v Speaker 18>the Internet, if I could go on and really find <v Speaker 18>out the inner workings of anything, just like they can't <v Speaker 18>any magic trick if they want to go really look <v Speaker 18>to pick people on the internet. But it is the <v Speaker 18>fact that people still ask me, is it really. <v Speaker 11>Is the faith? <v Speaker 23>Yeah, because your fans don't believe that Your fans truly <v Speaker 23>believe that it's real. They really do matter. <v Speaker 18>And our goal is what I always say, is when <v Speaker 18>I teach, you know, seminars all over the country and <v Speaker 18>really all over the world. I was just one in <v Speaker 18>Toronto recently. But is is that it's our you know, <v Speaker 18>our goal as professional is to create that magic and <v Speaker 18>to motivate the fan to get up off the couch, <v Speaker 18>get in their car, drive to the arena, pay the <v Speaker 18>price the ticket to come in and watch us perform. <v Speaker 18>So that if we create that magic the way that <v Speaker 18>we our goal is to to create, then they forget <v Speaker 18>about their problems for a couple of hours. And that's <v Speaker 18>how we forget about the world. And our our goal <v Speaker 18>is to create, you know, as much of what looks <v Speaker 18>like a you know, an animated contest, you know, and <v Speaker 18>and if we can do that, it's just like watching <v Speaker 18>Rocky and Apollo cree go at it. You know you're <v Speaker 18>watching a movie, but if you allow yourself to just. <v Speaker 4>Silk into that was not a movie. <v Speaker 3>That was real, all Right, I don't. I don't love <v Speaker 3>that guy. He's so fucking awful. Didn't me. <v Speaker 10>I don't know about everybody else, But when I go <v Speaker 10>to a wrestling show, it doesn't allow me to forget <v Speaker 10>about my problems, because my problem is that I like <v Speaker 10>wrestling enough to spend money on it. The b that's <v Speaker 10>my problem, and that reminds me of it when I'm <v Speaker 10>sitting there and nothing's happening and I'm bored to death, <v Speaker 10>and I know want to come to the next one. Anyway, <v Speaker 10>that's my wrestling. I'm not escaping I am. I'm not <v Speaker 10>escaping it. I am, in fact, stewing in it. <v Speaker 3>That's right. I you know, Glacier sounds like he sounds <v Speaker 3>like God. You know all I can think about. And <v Speaker 3>it's not a good reference because I know you don't <v Speaker 3>you then watch the show. But there's a but I <v Speaker 3>think it'll help. So in in in the West Wing, <v Speaker 3>there is a a scene after an election where a <v Speaker 3>a small time polster takes a lot of credit for <v Speaker 3>the winning campaign. But nobody on the campaign knows who <v Speaker 3>this guy is because he didn't actually work with the campaign. <v Speaker 3>Do you know what I mean? Does that make any sense? Yeah, <v Speaker 3>it's like he's like a like Glacier, sounds like a <v Speaker 3>second string quarterback who never played a game, who talks <v Speaker 3>like he's a fucking legend, like he's Tom Brady, like <v Speaker 3>he was part of the championship team, right, and he <v Speaker 3>was on paper, But yes, but he didn't fucking he <v Speaker 3>didn't gain a yard for that fucking team. He said <v Speaker 3>he teaches a seminar. No, no, you don't, Ray, you <v Speaker 3>teach zero seminars. That's my truth. How about that, Ray? <v Speaker 3>You know what? Everybody hates Ray ha. Everybody hates Ray Lloyd, <v Speaker 3>hates Raymond Lloyd. He did, and ever so ever since <v Speaker 3>he did open a open a small uh promotion TCW <v Speaker 3>with Dusty Rhoades for a while. I don't know if <v Speaker 3>you knew that, do you know that? Yeah? I don't know. <v Speaker 3>He was involved. Yeah, apparently he was, like he was <v Speaker 3>like the co head of the of the thing with <v Speaker 3>with Dusty. And you know, since then he's done. He <v Speaker 3>constantly tours the indie circuit and continues to make it. <v Speaker 3>I mean, did you I don't remember this at all. Wait, <v Speaker 3>were we at the were we at the two thousand, yeah, <v Speaker 3>twenty nineteen double or nothing? We were there, right? I <v Speaker 3>remember him at that he is about a royal. I <v Speaker 3>remember that. I fucking remember that at all. I guess <v Speaker 3>he was in Vegas too. I remember making the joke too, <v Speaker 3>that's pco Oh yeah, I mean they both had the <v Speaker 3>same body mass at this point, and they had the <v Speaker 3>yeah yeah idiots. And in fact, believe it or not, <v Speaker 3>he uh, he made an appearance at a show. I <v Speaker 3>don't know if he actually wrestled. We'll find down in <v Speaker 3>the article here. As recently as January tenth of this year, <v Speaker 3>twenty twenty two, according to the Union Recorder, on a <v Speaker 3>recent night in Millageville, Wow, M I L l E <v Speaker 3>d g E M A V I L l E Millageville. <v Speaker 3>I'll tell you, you know, when you look at it <v Speaker 3>for a split second, it kind of looks like Midgetville. <v Speaker 3>It sure does. More than three hundred. On a recent <v Speaker 3>rainy night in Millageville, more than three hundred wrestling fans <v Speaker 3>turned out to witness the latest CWO wrestling event at <v Speaker 3>the Centennial Center and new sole owner KSL. This was <v Speaker 3>to be a night to celebrate CWO Heavyweight champion, the <v Speaker 3>franchise player Derek Andrew Reynolds, Reynolds Case, KSL and Awesome <v Speaker 3>Austin Adams formerly Bobby Joyner came out and let everyone <v Speaker 3>know they are now to be known as Power Trip. <v Speaker 3>But the event's biggest name was world renowned wrestler Glacier. <v Speaker 3>There we go, world renown. I must have forgotten what <v Speaker 3>that means. If this is your biggest name, man, that's <v Speaker 3>sad who's had professional wrestling stints in WCW and in Japan. <v Speaker 3>Glacier would team up with Southern States Champion Damien to <v Speaker 3>take on Nelms and Big Bank Barfield. The fans call <v Speaker 3>him Piggybank. Glacier and Damien dominated in their victory, but <v Speaker 3>not without its moments of oohs and oz from the crowd. <v Speaker 3>At this point, it was time for an intermission and <v Speaker 3>Glacier signed autographs for the young and older alike. Smiling <v Speaker 3>and talking to the fans seemed to be a highlight <v Speaker 3>of the evening for Glacier. <v Speaker 6>Year. <v Speaker 3>Now this is where I started and those are some <v Speaker 3>of the best times for me, said Glacier, whose real <v Speaker 3>name is Ray Lloyd. Lloyd then went on to tell <v Speaker 3>about his life in and out of pro wrestling. Born <v Speaker 3>forty five years old years ago in Brunswick, Lloyd, Wait <v Speaker 3>a minute, No, no, no, no, no, no, he's older <v Speaker 3>than forty five. He's got to be. I don't know. <v Speaker 10>I just know that when you say someone's age in <v Speaker 10>a news article, you usually don't say born forty five <v Speaker 10>years ago. Usually say a forty five year old, right, <v Speaker 10>Or you say born such and such and such and <v Speaker 10>such and such. <v Speaker 3>Born in a year, he's fifty eight, k fabe somebody. Yeah, yeah, Well, <v Speaker 3>let's got the date wrong. I'm pretty sure this is <v Speaker 3>from this year. Though Lloyd went on to play football <v Speaker 3>and graduate from Valdosta State College. Lloyd would receive a <v Speaker 3>master's degree in education before he decided on a career <v Speaker 3>in wrestling. I was a young boy. My father took me, <v Speaker 3>took my brother and I to watch Georgia Championship Wrestling <v Speaker 3>in professional wrestling from Florida. It's still hard for me <v Speaker 3>to believe I'm now friends with some of the guys <v Speaker 3>I grew up like Dusty Rhodes, Mike Graham, and lou Theez. <v Speaker 3>This must be old, This must from twenty twelve. May <v Speaker 3>big up the Yeah and Luthes died in two thousand <v Speaker 3>and two. Oh, I don't know, he said while wrestling <v Speaker 3>in WCW Glacier had matches against the Great Muta, one <v Speaker 3>of the Japanese. Did he do that? Did he have <v Speaker 3>a match against Great Muda? I haven't seen it. I <v Speaker 3>can say it didn't happen, but one of Japan's best, <v Speaker 3>leading to Muta getting Lloyd involved in wrestling in Japan. <v Speaker 3>While in Japan, Lloyd was able to meet and learn <v Speaker 3>under the tutelage of one of the greatest of all time, <v Speaker 3>six times NWA Heavyweight Champion, Lou Tes. Lloyd has now <v Speaker 3>has been wrestling for twenty three years, and it was <v Speaker 3>and said it was Tes that brought him to be <v Speaker 3>a professional and not just a wrestler. Montes Ford, Yes, quote, <v Speaker 3>I've wrestled in front of forty four thousand people at <v Speaker 3>the Astrodome. But when that would have been? When did <v Speaker 3>he wrestling for the forty four thousand people. <v Speaker 10>Astrodome? I think they did a nitro from Astrodome in <v Speaker 10>ninety seven. Let's take a look it wasn't a pay <v Speaker 10>per view. <v Speaker 3>Because I mean, I can't imagine, but they never even <v Speaker 3>I mean, I'm amazed if if they did a crowd <v Speaker 3>that big, because usually they didn't do they didn't do <v Speaker 3>buildings that big. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, every now and then they do something really stupid <v Speaker 10>for Nitro, like like they did the Superdome in New <v Speaker 10>Orleans when no one cared and yeah, I got thirty <v Speaker 10>one thousand in attendance Astrodome, December seventh. <v Speaker 3>Nineteen ninety eight. So that's what he's talking about. Wow, okay, <v Speaker 3>all right, what I have improved wrong? So I'll take <v Speaker 3>it if that's what you're telling me. Hold on, I <v Speaker 3>got to see if this I'm so confused wrestled Saturn <v Speaker 3>on the show. Oh great, and then see I gotta <v Speaker 3>know when what's fucking Oh? I guess it's twenty ten. <v Speaker 3>I'm sorry, I don't know why I thought it was. <v Speaker 3>This year makes more wakes, much more sense, so my bad. <v Speaker 3>So every that's from But the crowds here are harder <v Speaker 3>because they're right, they're on you, you know, and you <v Speaker 3>and they expect the best from you, said Lloyd. So <v Speaker 3>wrestling in front of three hundred people is harder than <v Speaker 3>forty four thousand. Just know that, okay, And with the <v Speaker 3>ability to do more than just wrestling, Lloyd has also <v Speaker 3>been a television and movie actor. He has a movie <v Speaker 3>coming out called River of Darkness, co starring Kurt Angle. <v Speaker 3>Actually it's written co staring co staring Kurdi. As we <v Speaker 3>as he was getting ready to leave, Glacier stayed at <v Speaker 3>the Centennial Center to let everyone in Millageville know that <v Speaker 3>he could be back to put power trip in check. <v Speaker 3>And there's talk of the that's it actually, because now <v Speaker 3>let's talk about the actual wrestling show, which involved the <v Speaker 3>Purple Pimp, Daddy and uh, a bunch of Mad and <v Speaker 3>Mad Matt Davis and Mabel and yeah, so Glacier, what <v Speaker 3>a trip. <v Speaker 9>He's a lapsed fan wrestling podcast with Jack and Carnaco <v Speaker 9>and JP Sorrows, a lapsed fan wrestling podcast. <v Speaker 3>And that brings us to our I hesitate to use <v Speaker 3>the term a tour for the e. Bruce Koehler absolutely. <v Speaker 3>Bruce Koehler was born in July of nineteen sixty five <v Speaker 3>in the Greater Pittsburgh area. He went to Allegheny High <v Speaker 3>School before attending Clarion University studying communications and then he <v Speaker 3>spent the next twenty years or so honing his craft <v Speaker 3>as a freelance commercial director, and then he started making <v Speaker 3>his own movies. Now, Clarion is where Kerna Angle went, <v Speaker 3>by the way, is it really? I wonder if one <v Speaker 3>of their friends how old? When was Engelborne? Sixty six? <v Speaker 3>Something tells me, make me wrong? Okay, so they are <v Speaker 3>on the same age then, because sixty five, sixty six, <v Speaker 3>then sixty eight. Yeah. So what's also interesting is that <v Speaker 3>during this time, apparently when after college, like the in <v Speaker 3>between period between college and him making his fucking movies, <v Speaker 3>he also produced wrestling shows through the WNPA TV. Oh. <v Speaker 3>From what I've gathered, I don't really you know, there <v Speaker 3>wasn't a ton out there, but from what I've gathered, <v Speaker 3>it seems like it might have been Steel City Wrestling. <v Speaker 3>I don't know if you're familiar with that at all, <v Speaker 3>not at all at all. But either way, Kohler met <v Speaker 3>Sid through these wrestling shows, specifically at an event at <v Speaker 3>a community college. <v Speaker 10>Of sids involved. You can respell steel City. <v Speaker 3>That's exactly right. And they became friends. So now he's <v Speaker 3>one of those rare breed that, despite loving filmmaking and <v Speaker 3>loving to direct movies. He admitted that he has no <v Speaker 3>desire to ever move to Los Angeles. Oh sure, he said, <v Speaker 3>they have no desire to have them either. I mean, yeah, <v Speaker 3>who has the desire? <v Speaker 1>Really? <v Speaker 3>Is the question? Is it? Is it you who has <v Speaker 3>no desire? Or is La the one who has no desire? <v Speaker 3>Or are we talking about Pierre desire? You're back to <v Speaker 3>Bischoff and Brad Siegel and having a beer. It's right, <v Speaker 3>I have a beer with him? Yeah, Eric, No, we <v Speaker 3>get that. Would he have a beer with you? Right? <v Speaker 3>I mean, you'd have a beer with anybody who'd fucking <v Speaker 3>get you to the next level? Wow? The question is <v Speaker 3>would they have a beer with you? Yeah? I'd have <v Speaker 3>a beer with Steven Spielberg as well, But he's not <v Speaker 3>gonna rite. How big of me is that? <v Speaker 1>You know? <v Speaker 3>He said? Quote about Pittsburgh the city This is in <v Speaker 3>the Pittsburgh Post Gazette again Post Ankle Gazette. The city <v Speaker 3>has a lot to offer in both the richness of <v Speaker 3>its locations and passionate pool of actors who live in <v Speaker 3>the city. I've been shooting and lighting and directing for <v Speaker 3>twenty years. With that experience, I'm able to do with <v Speaker 3>two to three people what a lot of film crews <v Speaker 3>take ten to twenty to do. It's a matter of efficiency. <v Speaker 3>It definitely takes a certain passion. I get a great <v Speaker 3>deal of satisfaction when I create something and I can <v Speaker 3>sit back and show it to someone else. Yeah, you know, <v Speaker 3>there's a reason why they have ten to twenty people <v Speaker 3>to do something that two to three people could do. Right, right, <v Speaker 3>there's a reason for that. It's called making a movie <v Speaker 3>look good. Never occurred to anybody that, hey, why don't <v Speaker 3>we just fuck all these people and just not use <v Speaker 3>most of them? I use most of them, then fuck it? <v Speaker 3>You know, we who cares what the movie looks like? <v Speaker 3>And how good are you? Needs? Oh you need someone <v Speaker 3>with balls to fire people, that's all you need. <v Speaker 4>You know what. <v Speaker 3>Here's the thing, this is the this is the problem <v Speaker 3>with unions. Okay, oh yeah, here we go. The problem <v Speaker 3>with the unions. The unions just they make it harder <v Speaker 3>for us to do what we want to do. <v Speaker 10>Let me tell you, buddy, you have the unions to <v Speaker 10>thank because if you were allowed to do whatever you <v Speaker 10>wanted with no excuses, you would be an even bigger failure. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, exactly, you should be. <v Speaker 10>Thankful that you've got some people you can blame for <v Speaker 10>your own shortcomings. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, uh so he said, after you graduated from from Clarion. <v Speaker 3>He said he wanted to make movies since he was <v Speaker 3>a kid, and he realized the impact of film, and <v Speaker 3>I would say during in two thousand and nine he <v Speaker 3>realized the TNA impact of film. Yeah, I was gonna say, <v Speaker 3>what is it. <v Speaker 10>I've been shooting, lighting and whatever else. It was since like, <v Speaker 10>you got one thing in common with Kurt, not all three. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, I mean also you've been working too, so <v Speaker 3>you yeah, tell me fair stories too, how about that? Yeah, <v Speaker 3>you and Kurt have been shooting and working for thirty <v Speaker 3>years now. I can remember a neighbor talking about the actressystem. <v Speaker 3>Then came jaws. I heard people describe them. I was <v Speaker 3>always editing between two VCRs. I spliced things together, tinker <v Speaker 3>with scenes. So I got what I wanted, just to <v Speaker 3>confirm Bruce Koehler. Damn fucking right, Come on, now. <v Speaker 1>You know I. <v Speaker 3>You've all done that. You know certainly I did the <v Speaker 3>same thing VCR to VCR editing, you know, trying to <v Speaker 3>make the right cuts and stuff like that. But I <v Speaker 3>don't know when you're not unique, I guess is my point. <v Speaker 3>Like I'm hearing him say this thing, and I'm like, <v Speaker 3>you know whatever, I know you Then I started to <v Speaker 3>feel bad. But I can't, dude, your fucking movie sucks. Honestly, Locus, <v Speaker 3>the Apocalypse is better than this fucking movie. You go. <v Speaker 3>All right, I think, And I'm not just being biased <v Speaker 3>because I made it so his first movie. We talked <v Speaker 3>briefly at the beginning of the show Dark Wake, which <v Speaker 3>was released in two thousand and eight and made the newspapers, <v Speaker 3>specifically The Pittsburgh Post the arm Gazette in January three. <v Speaker 3>A locally made movie called Dark Wake, which takes great <v Speaker 3>advantage of the city's rivers and local pool of acting <v Speaker 3>and musical talent. Well how was premiere January tenth at <v Speaker 3>eight p m. <v Speaker 24>The follows four twenty eight Washington Aven carneg missed i'dmission <v Speaker 24>it free. Bruce Cohler, a longtime commercial producer for Pittsburgh <v Speaker 24>TV station as well as advertising agency, shop the movie <v Speaker 24>from April to October on the rivers and in Etna Butler, <v Speaker 24>What're all these fucking weird names? Pine Etna in Western <v Speaker 24>fucking Pennsylvania. <v Speaker 3>The cast includes local actress Aina block as a Catholic <v Speaker 3>nun and Jerry winand as a coroner. So big stars. <v Speaker 3>So he made his fucking first movie and it was <v Speaker 3>he showed it in a theater in town. And so <v Speaker 3>his if you look at it, if you look at <v Speaker 3>his IMDb, at Bruce Colr's IMDb, his movies aren't really <v Speaker 3>that good, any of them. I think the highest rating <v Speaker 3>for one of his movies is like a two point <v Speaker 3>nine out of ten on IMDb by people. That's that's <v Speaker 3>from people. That's not that's not critics either, that's that's <v Speaker 3>the viewing public. And yeah, so and even one guy, so, <v Speaker 3>a writer from Dead Central, even gave him an awful review. <v Speaker 3>And I guess Bruce and I'll give Bruce credit for <v Speaker 3>this one. Bruce reported back to the guy who wrote <v Speaker 3>the review and said that he actually loved his bad <v Speaker 3>the bad review, like he loved the you know, and <v Speaker 3>I'll give him that. You know, that's that's that's good <v Speaker 3>spirits to me and I and I do enjoy that. <v Speaker 3>I mean, because God knows, we get we get our <v Speaker 3>own our own ship here. Oh yeah, oh for sure, <v Speaker 3>you know, I can. I can appreciate that. And so <v Speaker 3>they went on, uh, dread Central. I went on to <v Speaker 3>promote the movie a little bit in the River of <v Speaker 3>Darkness and and they he actually sent them like conceptual <v Speaker 3>some of the conceptual DVD artwork for the movie. And <v Speaker 3>it's kind of cool, kind of a cool little thing. <v Speaker 18>You know. <v Speaker 3>Again, you know, you know what, no press is bad press, <v Speaker 3>as they say, you know, as long as they're talking <v Speaker 3>about you, it's all the fucking matters, I suppose. So <v Speaker 3>here it comes to that little piece that I was <v Speaker 3>unsure of. But I'm pretty I'm actually a piece in <v Speaker 3>the article that I that I ended up finding kind <v Speaker 3>of solidified it. So again, there's a Bruce Khler born <v Speaker 3>in sixty five, living in the same area of of <v Speaker 3>of the Bruce Coller, the director who opened a brewing <v Speaker 3>company in Grove City, Pennsylvania, which became kind of a <v Speaker 3>hotspot for the air. You know, cool, you know, cool, <v Speaker 3>hipster or gonna get some micro bruised cities like Pittsburgh. <v Speaker 1>Love. <v Speaker 10>Yeah, like a kid from the city that opens a brewery. <v Speaker 10>They love that shit. <v Speaker 3>Just I love micro brew You know, what kind of <v Speaker 3>what kind of als do you have? You know, I'm <v Speaker 3>really feeling ale tonight. Here's another guy reimagining of old factory. <v Speaker 3>You know, right right right, you know, I really wanted <v Speaker 3>to keep I really thought it'd be equity to keep <v Speaker 3>the real rust, you know, from what it was, real factory. <v Speaker 3>I thought that'd be kind of a kind of the <v Speaker 3>honest it's character, you know, when we were building the <v Speaker 3>place and kind of renovating it, I said, keep the rust. <v Speaker 3>And you know what, keep the black mold too. It's cool, <v Speaker 3>it looks cool, it's you know, it creates ambiance. Two <v Speaker 3>days later, what are you selling here? Beer? No vibes? <v Speaker 10>Okay, get the fuck out of their case. The adults <v Speaker 10>are home from vacation. You guys have to break this up. <v Speaker 3>Are you are? Are you selling you guys sell bottles <v Speaker 3>of beer? No, we sell vibes of beer. Okay? <v Speaker 6>Great? <v Speaker 3>Cool, god bro. So, like I said him, a hotspot, <v Speaker 3>maybe I would say that it's for some of the <v Speaker 3>local residents. It was more of a cold spot. This <v Speaker 3>is great. From the Allied News. May twenty ninth, twenty eighteen, <v Speaker 3>several Grove City residents brought complaints to the borough Council <v Speaker 3>meeting on Monday night. Matt Smale of Park Street continues <v Speaker 3>to have concerns about the business in his neighborhood, Cohler <v Speaker 3>Brewing Company, two thirty one Park Street. He against it <v Speaker 3>is the brewery to be a nuisance and has seen <v Speaker 3>people speeding up and down the street despite the recent <v Speaker 3>installation of speed limit signs. Yeah, next step, we would <v Speaker 3>be speed bumps, said Smail, who lodged complaints against Coler <v Speaker 3>during council's October meeting. Park Street is mainly a residential <v Speaker 3>area with children playing outside. He says this past weekend, <v Speaker 3>one vehicle was ticketed for being parked too close to <v Speaker 3>a stop sign, and Smail said he saw a Cohler <v Speaker 3>customer vomit on the I saw a guy vomit on <v Speaker 3>the street. This place is no good, no good, I <v Speaker 3>tell you, yes, all right. Smail's concerns need to be <v Speaker 3>addressed with Borough police or the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board <v Speaker 3>Council President George Porkin okay p O r KA n T. <v Speaker 3>Porkin said. Smail said he has been in touch with <v Speaker 3>police and the PLCB, and he still questions what can <v Speaker 3>be done to help his family and neighbors. Borrow's solicitor, <v Speaker 3>Tim Bonner confirmed that Small's complaints in police and PLCB issues, <v Speaker 3>But that doesn't mean that borough officials don't sympathize with Smel. <v Speaker 3>You know what, hands are somewhat tied, said Porkant, noting <v Speaker 3>that Cohler is in an area that's zoned industrial and <v Speaker 3>the PLCB issued a license for them to make and <v Speaker 3>sell beer. Mayor Randy, don't call me Matt Riddle and <v Speaker 3>pork and encourage Smail. No, probably won't Pal and Currie <v Speaker 3>fail to keep calling police or the PLCB when the <v Speaker 3>need arises to ensure there is a record of his complaints. <v Speaker 3>You know, I'm fine with calling nine one one, Smail said. <v Speaker 3>Contacted by phone on Tuesday, Cohler co owner Bruce Koehler <v Speaker 3>said that Smail has not approached him about his concerns. <v Speaker 3>Colder said he's done what's been asked of him to <v Speaker 3>try and find a happy medium. I really don't want <v Speaker 3>to disturb the community, he said. He questions the Borrow's <v Speaker 3>recent decision to place no parking signs near the brewery. <v Speaker 3>His customers use a dozen or so spots and that <v Speaker 3>is creating some problems. Cohler has been trying to spread <v Speaker 3>the word to his customers about the parking situation so <v Speaker 3>they don't end up in front of someone's home or driveway. <v Speaker 3>I'm asking everyone to be courteous, he said. Borrow officials <v Speaker 3>told him that the no parking designation was made to <v Speaker 3>accommodate trucks at the nearby power station. Those trucks are <v Speaker 3>gone by four pm, and Coler is open Thursday through Saturday, <v Speaker 3>Thursday through Saturday, close Sunday through Wednesday. What the fuck? <v Speaker 3>What's wrong with that? Because he asked the Borrow to <v Speaker 3>consider letting his customers use those parking those spaces after hours. <v Speaker 3>As for the customer who vomited outside on Park Street, <v Speaker 3>Cohler said he arrived to the brewery already intoxicated and <v Speaker 3>was refuse service. He will not be served at Coler <v Speaker 3>in the future. As for the customer who vomited outside <v Speaker 3>of the brewery, Coler said that customer has been shot. <v Speaker 3>As for the customer who vomited outside Park Street, Coler <v Speaker 3>said he has been brought to parts unknown and will <v Speaker 3>never be heard from again. That's right. Coler Brewing likes <v Speaker 3>Grove City, and while they need a larger space for production, <v Speaker 3>they hope to be able to stay in their current location, <v Speaker 3>he said. Also at the Monday's meeting, Greg Holmes of <v Speaker 3>Monroe's Speet Monroe Street, said that a speed limit sign <v Speaker 3>was put in his yard without any warning, and he's <v Speaker 3>having trouble getting his truck around the sign without hitting it. <v Speaker 3>Listens any other breaking news guys. <v Speaker 4>You know how am I. <v Speaker 24>Supposed to get a you know how am I supposed <v Speaker 24>to get in my driveway when you guys put this this, <v Speaker 24>this speed limit sign right there. <v Speaker 3>No one told me about that. Nobody told me about <v Speaker 3>that road kills page one news in this town sign. <v Speaker 3>The sign was erected because of the people driving too <v Speaker 3>fast to and from Cohler, he said. Oakes said he'll <v Speaker 3>look into whether the sign can be relocated. And then <v Speaker 3>Beth Gordon, who recently moved out of the apartment at <v Speaker 3>three hundred and three Brother, what dude? Who oh yeah, <v Speaker 3>that's true in three Lincoln ave have many more interesting <v Speaker 3>Uh yeah this moment. Moved out of an apartment in <v Speaker 3>that warrants publication. She believes that a rating that there <v Speaker 3>is a rat infestation in that area. The duplex is <v Speaker 3>owned by John Cenci of Happy Home Rentals, Greenville, and <v Speaker 3>an extriminator said he saw signs of rats. Gordon also <v Speaker 3>found a dead rat in the kitchen. She wonders if <v Speaker 3>the rats are coming from the vacant warehouse buildings across <v Speaker 3>the street. They're coming from the wrestling arena, I know, <v Speaker 3>be careful. They're probably coming from Kohlers down the street. <v Speaker 3>Get that right, fucking you know, Kurt Angle and Sid <v Speaker 3>there hanging out. God knows there's gonna be some rats. <v Speaker 10>This person moved out of an apartment. This person has <v Speaker 10>a stop sign in their yard. This person thinks there's <v Speaker 10>a rat infestation. What else is being published? <v Speaker 3>Also heard from James Thomas. James Thomas bought a salary <v Speaker 3>last week who identified to himself as the caretaker for <v Speaker 3>three ZHO three Lincoln. He reported that he had two <v Speaker 3>exterminators there, filled in the foundation and set bait boxes, <v Speaker 3>which have not been disturbed. He didn't see any signs <v Speaker 3>of rats. No, one of the exterminators confirmed their presence. <v Speaker 3>I didn't see any any rats, I mean, but they <v Speaker 3>did confirm their presence. So I don't know. <v Speaker 10>You're the inspector, right, yeah, I mean, I'm just stealing <v Speaker 10>money from the city till somebody catches me. But yeah, <v Speaker 10>I have the inspector. Can you confirm rats presence? <v Speaker 3>You know? Here's the thing I can I can confirm, yes, <v Speaker 3>you know what, we live in a major city and <v Speaker 3>major metropolitan area. There are rats. Can I confirm them <v Speaker 3>in this in this neighborhood? Absolutely no, say no more. <v Speaker 3>I have what I need, thank you, sir. But there's <v Speaker 3>no rats in this. I want to say, I want <v Speaker 3>to specify here breaking out. All right, this has been <v Speaker 3>rat proofed. All right, there is no there's no possible <v Speaker 3>way I've seen to it. There's no way that a <v Speaker 3>rat can enter this building. Okay, sid just told me <v Speaker 3>there's rats, and now I said there's rats in the <v Speaker 3>city because we live in the metropolitan area. I did <v Speaker 3>not say that there were rats in this, in this <v Speaker 3>in these premises. <v Speaker 10>Well, you don't know about this, Inspectors. While he's doing <v Speaker 10>this interview, he's on the roof of the office spending <v Speaker 10>in an office chair. Ha, he's normal. <v Speaker 9>You're look at the clouds when I'm running around in <v Speaker 9>a circle. <v Speaker 3>This is pin wheel. This is the guy you can <v Speaker 3>This is the guy on the record. It's like a <v Speaker 3>pinwheeling your rules in new circles. <v Speaker 2>It's like a fucking pin wheel up there. <v Speaker 10>But you have to know he spins in the office <v Speaker 10>chair round in circles without ever pumping or like creating <v Speaker 10>any momentum. Just for some reason, the chair he's in <v Speaker 10>this spinning. <v Speaker 3>It's like slow, it's slow. There's some kind of gravitational <v Speaker 3>pull that's it's like getting him around. Amazing. Oh, Bruce <v Speaker 3>color and no idea, what's coming? Oh these guys had <v Speaker 3>a podcast about my movie. Let me check this out? <v Speaker 3>Yeah right, yeah, sorry, pal, talk about your fucking corrupt brewery. <v Speaker 3>How about that? Principal photography began in September of two <v Speaker 3>thousand and nine and continued through October. And in case <v Speaker 3>you hadn't guessed already, the movie was shot entirely in <v Speaker 3>the Greater Pittsburgh area. Right, So when you're making a <v Speaker 3>horror movie, When you're making a horror movie, it is <v Speaker 3>you know, you need to have you need to get <v Speaker 3>quality makeup done, or at least you need to get <v Speaker 3>makeup done quality. Yeah, there is a difference, can can vary. <v Speaker 3>So Sid, Nash, and the moth Man all had to <v Speaker 3>have makeup applied to appear as these as this zombie <v Speaker 3>triplet and there I think I think it's Sid's phone. <v Speaker 3>I think I do believe that Sid took video of <v Speaker 3>himself and the other two guys in the makeup chairs. <v Speaker 3>The first one, I'm gonna play an audio clip from that, <v Speaker 3>and then and then I'm gonna get a video that <v Speaker 3>I'm gonna show you of them putting their fucking makeup on. <v Speaker 3>And more importantly, it's to look at the where they're in, <v Speaker 3>what they're in, because it's like, it's such a joke. <v Speaker 3>It's such a fucking joke. But here's Sid. <v Speaker 1>Everybody's watching this, so she's actually had in the part <v Speaker 1>of my team. <v Speaker 25>If you're gonna understand the standard makeups chair, well, my <v Speaker 25>cham would be like a three D everything bullet. <v Speaker 1>That's for show three D. It's funny with me and <v Speaker 1>my here going down the road. <v Speaker 25>Chants coming down might be bigger than mine. Sixteen sixty <v Speaker 25>nine real fire, that's right, I heard, Yeah. <v Speaker 3>That's about it. Did he just give his son's dimensions <v Speaker 3>like his son's fucking knuck off? Jesus Christ, so fucking stupid. <v Speaker 10>Imagine walking around and in your normal life and someone <v Speaker 10>you ask someone about their kids, and they normally tell <v Speaker 10>you their names and ages, but they tell you how <v Speaker 10>much they weigh and how tall they are without you asking. <v Speaker 3>That sounds like my mom. Actually, God, all right, I'm <v Speaker 3>going to share my screen with you. M Okay, do <v Speaker 3>you have my screen? Yes? Do you see that face? Yes? <v Speaker 3>Can you hear it now? <v Speaker 4>Oh? <v Speaker 3>I can hear that. But the face is not what <v Speaker 3>you want me to see. It appears to be your desktop. <v Speaker 3>See but you heard that. That's amazing. <v Speaker 10>But I heard it yep. And I can see a <v Speaker 10>cursor moving around on the desktop. But I cannot see <v Speaker 10>a video. <v Speaker 3>No, no video. You can't see at all. It's a <v Speaker 3>still picture of the family. That's so weird. Hold on, <v Speaker 3>I might be sharing desktop instead of the window that <v Speaker 3>has a video on it. It didn't really give me options. <v Speaker 3>No ah, fucking Skype, I'm not sure. Their boss so annoying. <v Speaker 3>What I will do is send you the file okay, <v Speaker 3>it's not a crazy big file, and then we can <v Speaker 3>then you can just air you can play it there, <v Speaker 3>Uh shut email to you. Sure we're live, pal. Indeed, <v Speaker 3>it's fitting that this would be uh, that this would <v Speaker 3>be uh a sid thing that would have this kind <v Speaker 3>of a mess up. Yeah, it actually is. <v Speaker 4>Uh. <v Speaker 3>You know, it makes me wonder, so I literally, you <v Speaker 3>know what, Jesus Christ, what a fucking idiot. I just <v Speaker 3>sent it to myself. Oh that's a good first step. <v Speaker 3>We're doing well here, all right, now you should have <v Speaker 3>it or any moment and yo, see his fucking horrifying face. <v Speaker 6>And his. <v Speaker 3>And some makeup too, some makeup on. But yeah, so <v Speaker 3>they'd have to go through a whole thing. And apparently <v Speaker 3>it took quite a long time to put them to <v Speaker 3>put this makeup on. And uh, like I think he <v Speaker 3>said he might say in another clip that I'm gonna <v Speaker 3>play a little bit in a moment, three hours to <v Speaker 3>put the makeup on. Wow, something like that. So do <v Speaker 3>you have it? Just got it? All right? Great? When <v Speaker 3>you get it up, I'll do a countdown and we'll <v Speaker 3>play it together. Okay, all right, god, you got it <v Speaker 3>all right? Three? Two one? Play? Looks horrifying, isn't the horrifying? <v Speaker 3>He does this for his family, apparently. I mean, look <v Speaker 3>at the look at the facility. What is this? But <v Speaker 3>look at look at an ash he's in gimmick. He <v Speaker 3>does not yea, look at that. He's so fucking miserable. <v Speaker 3>There's the other guy, like, are they in like a <v Speaker 3>fish house or something? It looks like it. Yeah, I <v Speaker 3>mean all this cable and stuff. <v Speaker 10>Jenna Morasca yep, Dash talking to the makeup guy, yep. <v Speaker 10>Like I met Jenna after Nash, you know, and you <v Speaker 10>know what, you're a fuckedor too, you know, right, what <v Speaker 10>a mess. <v Speaker 3>It's so horrifying. I mean, but this is, this is <v Speaker 3>this is low budget filmmaking. That's low It looks like, yeah, <v Speaker 3>it looks like an old trailer, like an abandoned trailer park. <v Speaker 3>I do wonder, you know, I mean, I don't know <v Speaker 3>what kind of I can't imagine he gets. I'm very <v Speaker 3>curious what kind of a payday Nash gets for movies <v Speaker 3>like this, because and like movies like the like The <v Speaker 3>Almighty for because here's a guy and listen, right, he's <v Speaker 3>got to be worth his time. This is this is <v Speaker 3>one of the one of the one of the few <v Speaker 3>times will I will celebrate. I mean, Nash has been <v Speaker 3>in some some major motion pictures, right, he's and he's <v Speaker 3>had major roles in some of them. And so I <v Speaker 3>don't understand why he's doing shit like this. I don't either. <v Speaker 10>It's a great mystery to me. I can only think <v Speaker 10>he wants to build up his film resume, because there's <v Speaker 10>no way he's getting to pay. <v Speaker 3>He worked with fucking Steven Soderberg for foxst I mean <v Speaker 3>that happened after this. But you know, he's but he <v Speaker 3>still makes movies like this bad. He just made one, <v Speaker 3>the fucking COVID nineteen movie that came out. Really is <v Speaker 3>it's something. I don't know what he's after. I don't <v Speaker 3>know what motivates him. I mean, because I can't imagine <v Speaker 3>that he is enjoying himself in these conditions when I'm <v Speaker 3>sure on the major pictures that he's done, he sits <v Speaker 3>in a fucking trailer, he has a glorious situation and <v Speaker 3>and whatnot. But here he is doing these fucking I mean, <v Speaker 3>unless he's just unless he's unless he is just a <v Speaker 3>guy who just likes being on set and is like <v Speaker 3>cool about doing it all. I mean, he does love <v Speaker 3>the we know, he loves those fucking student film channels <v Speaker 3>on the on the goddamn Yeah it could be maybe <v Speaker 3>it just it seems so weird and I don't mean <v Speaker 3>anything bad, but but he just doesn't look happy, you know. Yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 3>he always looks like he's been forced to do this <v Speaker 3>movie and he's already complained about it. You know who <v Speaker 3>the Jenna Morasca is they're talking about. Yeah, I know <v Speaker 3>who she is. She she was what was her deal? <v Speaker 4>Though? <v Speaker 10>There's something on Survivor? She won Survivor and she did <v Speaker 10>play she did playboys. Well, yes, she was in Pittsburgh <v Speaker 10>and uh, Kurt met her on the meal of the film. <v Speaker 3>You mentioned the. <v Speaker 10>First film that yeah, yeah, uh the other one, and <v Speaker 10>he brought her into TNA and she had the worst <v Speaker 10>match of all time against Charmel Sullivan. <v Speaker 3>Y oh shit, yep. <v Speaker 10>She had a very short lived on Queen Wrestling thing. <v Speaker 10>But you know they thought she was she was of <v Speaker 10>public interest because of her Survivor experience and sure, yeah, <v Speaker 10>all talking about her in bat down Pittsburgh. <v Speaker 3>That's crazy. Well, how how do you think we're all curious? <v Speaker 3>I'm sure you're curious too. How sid It felt about <v Speaker 3>putting all that makeup on? Well here's what he had <v Speaker 3>to say. <v Speaker 11>I wouldn't want to go through it again. That they <v Speaker 11>always I don't think they've been through that before. Yeah, <v Speaker 11>it was painstaking, It was all forever. It was on <v Speaker 11>my pills for Tues three days afterwards. <v Speaker 9>Uh. <v Speaker 11>Yeah, it's just uh, I let me tell you that <v Speaker 11>it was. It was worth it. <v Speaker 17>Now, Yeah, because I watched a movie last night, and <v Speaker 17>you know, like you don't have lines in the movie, <v Speaker 17>but you rely a lot on like facial expressions and <v Speaker 17>your eye movements. Though, was that something like came natural <v Speaker 17>to you from your restling career? <v Speaker 11>You know what they did come naturally? I don't remember making. <v Speaker 11>The thing is, guys, these kind of movies like this, <v Speaker 11>most movies I've done, the horror movies, and my very <v Speaker 11>first one I did, I naturally directed and then Stranded. <v Speaker 11>I had a part in it. I was the main <v Speaker 11>person the whole thing. I never had one speaking part. Well, <v Speaker 11>why like things like that, guys? I directed. I directed <v Speaker 11>that myself to be like that because I liked the <v Speaker 11>guy Boo Bradley and Camilla to kill a mockingbird. I <v Speaker 11>think if you can make that kind of an impact <v Speaker 11>that I've ever seen a word, you've done something I <v Speaker 11>did that in the movie are called Stranded. I did <v Speaker 11>myself and so me that I don't even care about lines. <v Speaker 11>You know, we are zombie. You're not gonna have me. <v Speaker 11>I's either, right, guys, that's in your head. <v Speaker 3>That was a lot a lot. You know, you can <v Speaker 3>wash your pillow case said, you don't have to just <v Speaker 3>wait for it to come out on its own. I <v Speaker 3>got to keep it that way. I'm clothes. Stop washing <v Speaker 3>my clothes. Okay, well this is a public laundromat, said, <v Speaker 3>I mean, you can't just put the sign on the <v Speaker 3>fucking machine that says that you understand that I'm not <v Speaker 3>meant to be washed. Yeah, I understand. I becoming abundantly <v Speaker 3>clear here in the locker room. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I hear you. I hear you. <v Speaker 3>Get a bunch of movies. Sid He's got a bunch <v Speaker 3>of movies. I had no idea he ever did a <v Speaker 3>single movie. He's in a movie called Tears of Bankers. <v Speaker 3>Sounds like a good one, but he plays a character <v Speaker 3>called sid So. And then he's in a movie Death <v Speaker 3>from Above, where he plays the character her Zog Doug <v Speaker 3>Herzog possibly oh Man. Oh guess who directed that movie. <v Speaker 3>Bruce Cohler. Bruce Koehler is on the fucking He's on <v Speaker 3>the on the March, on the Mission, featuring uh Kurt Angle, uh, <v Speaker 3>Matt Morgan, Terry Gurrin, and Jessica krisa So an all <v Speaker 3>star cast, an all star cast of at the time <v Speaker 3>TNA talent, maybe still TENAE talent. I don't even know. <v Speaker 3>I don't think. So's the oh and James storm as <v Speaker 3>well from TNA James, here you go. So it's a <v Speaker 3>whole fucking it's a whole fucking fest here of tit's <v Speaker 3>an ass. I can't say that one doesn't qualify. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>I know that's qualifies hard. And of course you know <v Speaker 3>it wouldn't It would surprise me if they weren't on <v Speaker 3>the case. But the Pittsburgh Post Modern Gazette was there <v Speaker 3>covering the story covering the film September seventeen, two thousand <v Speaker 3>and nine. River of Darkness has been filmed primarily in <v Speaker 3>the northern suburbs in southern Butler County. Filming locally allows <v Speaker 3>mister Kohler and his twin brother, Brian of Avalon, who <v Speaker 3>is executive producer of the film, to capitalize on their <v Speaker 3>knowledge and contacts and save money. For example, they had <v Speaker 3>access to filming on a towboat in the Allegheny River <v Speaker 3>in Aspen Wall and undertaking that would have cost a <v Speaker 3>lot of money for a Hollywood film crew to stage <v Speaker 3>or recreate, but mister Kohler was able to finagle the <v Speaker 3>shot for free due to his contacts. He also knew <v Speaker 3>of a spooky Rundown yet, except that he didn't also <v Speaker 3>put money back into the economy of Pittsburgh. So think <v Speaker 3>about that. Oh well, you know, oh he did it <v Speaker 3>for free. But if they had paid for it, if <v Speaker 3>a Hollywood studio came in and paid for it, then <v Speaker 3>you know, the city would have made money. He also <v Speaker 3>knew of a spooky rundown hunting cabin in Pine, the <v Speaker 3>owner of which gave him free passage onto the property. <v Speaker 3>His contacts with the graduates of the Douglas Education Center <v Speaker 3>in Monison, a creative career school that offers programs and <v Speaker 3>special effects makeup, hooked him up with student volunteers. Alyssa Raguieriro, <v Speaker 3>who soon will graduate from the school, said she signed <v Speaker 3>on immediately for the project as a resume builder. It's <v Speaker 3>a win win for everybody. You know what Hollywood will <v Speaker 3>said mister Kohler, what Hollywood will pay tons of money for. <v Speaker 3>I can do it for no money because of the <v Speaker 3>people in the places. <v Speaker 14>I know. <v Speaker 3>Cool guy. That doesn't affect the professionalism of the production, <v Speaker 3>said Sydney Raymond Beauty of Marion Arkansaw, better known as <v Speaker 3>Sid Vicius, a four time world champion wrestler. Mister Udy, <v Speaker 3>who has been in about a half dozen movies, is <v Speaker 3>in River of Darkness. It's independent, but it's World War <v Speaker 3>work put together in addition to his brothers to his <v Speaker 3>brother other working. Others working on River of Darkness include <v Speaker 3>John iwan o'q of Peters And as associate producer, and <v Speaker 3>Dave Hawk of the North Hills has assistant producer. Filming <v Speaker 3>is expected to wrap up in October. Mister Kohler hopes <v Speaker 3>for theatrical release. Quote, well, we don't know. It's very hard. <v Speaker 10>If so, you're hoping for release, but it's very hard, <v Speaker 10>so you're not quite sure when it's going to happen. <v Speaker 3>I understand that very well. You know, sometimes it is <v Speaker 3>very hard to release. Correct if not that, he hopes <v Speaker 3>for a direct to DVD distribution, high hopes. And then <v Speaker 3>the Beaver County Times was also there, and they actually <v Speaker 3>wrote a little bit about directing the wrestlers. <v Speaker 10>For a County Times for County Times. But enough about <v Speaker 10>Jenna moroscos her Fucking Pussy. What that's a a new <v Speaker 10>magazine in town, folks. It's called Jenna Morasca's Fucking Pussy <v Speaker 10>And she's only featured in one of them. But we'll <v Speaker 10>keep calling the magazine. <v Speaker 3>That she's only in the inaugural issue. Besides that, it's <v Speaker 3>not about her at all. Right, call it the Jenna <v Speaker 3>Mosca Pussy Times. So that's a really long name. Can <v Speaker 3>we just call it pussy Times? <v Speaker 5>No? <v Speaker 3>How about how about the JM Pussy Times? Can we <v Speaker 3>do that? At least the name stays in the title, <v Speaker 3>The Jenna Morasca. Listen, she's given us money to put <v Speaker 3>her name in the title. The general Jenna Morosca Pussy Times. <v Speaker 3>Get it done, otherwise known as the Cunt Right, I'd <v Speaker 3>take that over that other title. Man, The Cunt Times <v Speaker 3>was here? Oh my god, the Beaver Cunt Times. There <v Speaker 3>it is right there. Oh, we've mainstreamed that word. So <v Speaker 3>here's what they had to say. <v Speaker 1>Quote. <v Speaker 3>The wrestlers were fun to direct, although Nash got a <v Speaker 3>little steamed during one scene in which his feet got <v Speaker 3>stuck in the muck of the Allegheny said, Jesus fucking <v Speaker 3>crist got a show we roll. Oh, so you don't <v Speaker 3>want us to worry about the hair being this one's <v Speaker 3>going straight to walk, This one's going straight to someone's ass. <v Speaker 3>I don't fucking care about the hair being web it's <v Speaker 3>just called fucking continuity. But we sold about ten twenty <v Speaker 3>copies exactly. Um safe to say nobody will be using <v Speaker 3>the words de Niro like to describe any of the <v Speaker 3>film's actors. What a shot. Seriously, I don't want to <v Speaker 3>build up expectations, Colder said, It's just a low budget <v Speaker 3>movie shot on the rivers of Pittsburgh. Still, Cohler has <v Speaker 3>huge potential, a huge potential target audience. The estimated sixteen <v Speaker 3>point three million US wrestling fans. Oh, please get off. <v Speaker 3>Where do you get that number for? How do we <v Speaker 3>are we in a fucking are we like in a <v Speaker 3>in a list like a like a census or something. <v Speaker 10>I mean, as far as they're concerned, there's one hundred <v Speaker 10>and sixty three wrestling right. Okay, it comes down a <v Speaker 10>percentage of market share that you can expect to watch <v Speaker 10>your movie. <v Speaker 3>As well as those in the United Kingdom where the <v Speaker 3>movie already has been released. Now, there's a lot, there's <v Speaker 3>there's not been a lot of wrestling movies except for <v Speaker 3>some of those whole Cogaan ones. But they were kind <v Speaker 3>of cheesy, right, Coler said, Actually, Pal, there are a <v Speaker 3>lot of wrestling movies, believe it or not, or at <v Speaker 3>least movies involved with wrestling a testament to that. All right, <v Speaker 3>so you know we've got quite a few, and I've <v Speaker 3>got hundreds more, so you can go fuck yourself. Brother. <v Speaker 3>Why is he saying, I'm cheesy? <v Speaker 6>Dude? What? <v Speaker 3>Who's this? Bruce Kohler brother? Who is he talking to? <v Speaker 3>Is he talking to Kurt Fuller brother? <v Speaker 4>Right? <v Speaker 3>Exactly is he? Dude? Is he talking to Kurt Fuller <v Speaker 3>ship brother? Fuck? Fuck Bruce Kohler, dude. Fuck you both <v Speaker 3>fucking work to do tonight. Fuck you gotta go home. No, <v Speaker 3>I's making fucking chicken parm brother. Actually, you know what, <v Speaker 3>He's gonna make Italian subs. Brother, make nah we go <v Speaker 3>now I can believe it. But the Gabba Goo? Yeah, <v Speaker 3>com of golf Sandwick? What's sad? Sit again? Make that <v Speaker 3>cop of golf Sandwich? Oh girl, what would you know <v Speaker 3>about him? He knows about the Goba gal? And then <v Speaker 3>some final words from Sid on the production of this movie. <v Speaker 3>Listen carefully, a lot of a. <v Speaker 11>Lot of makeup, a lot of turkey on the set, cheese, <v Speaker 11>a lot of bullshit, and you know we're done on <v Speaker 11>this nasty ass river. The first night in Pittsburgh. Guys <v Speaker 11>were out there fishing. I had this makeup over talks <v Speaker 11>to him. They were all freaking out. <v Speaker 4>So you kept the makeup on. <v Speaker 11>Well, we had to until it was over with and <v Speaker 11>then they take what they thought they could off of you. <v Speaker 11>We got back to the hotel and it ship was <v Speaker 11>still in this and thank god Keed had some stuff. <v Speaker 11>They actually got it all for us. <v Speaker 4>Yeah. Did you get any weird looks walking around you <v Speaker 4>with some of the makeups on? <v Speaker 11>Oh? Yeah, it was like what is wrong with us? <v Speaker 11>It's like, man, just I don't know. And then get <v Speaker 11>home and is in our ears, behind our ears, fucking everywhere? <v Speaker 4>How many days did you have to wear a makeup? <v Speaker 11>We had to wear it for two different nights. You know. <v Speaker 11>By the second night they got it down where they <v Speaker 11>got it off real good, you know, but I don't <v Speaker 11>think they had done that before. But that's to me too, <v Speaker 11>that it was a good a real good sign of <v Speaker 11>a real professional organization that had that kind of setup, <v Speaker 11>that great of a makeup crew, you know, that's a <v Speaker 11>that's a meal extensive makeup. I don't know if they <v Speaker 11>I'm sure they, If they, they'll have trailers of you know, events. <v Speaker 11>You can see some of that stuff, but that took <v Speaker 11>hours to put on. <v Speaker 10>He says, like, we had it behind our ears and <v Speaker 10>all that shit. But in the second night when we <v Speaker 10>got home, you know, well no, he said, this is <v Speaker 10>by the second night they figured out how to get <v Speaker 10>it off real good. Well, when we got home, it <v Speaker 10>was all over the place in our ears and ships. <v Speaker 10>Well what every single time he opens his mouth, there's <v Speaker 10>something like that. <v Speaker 3>There's some fucking bullshit lie, okay, exactly, he fucking I <v Speaker 3>also love that he says, there was a lot of makeup. <v Speaker 3>There was a lot. There's a lot of turkey eating, <v Speaker 3>cheese eating, bullshitting, what do you What are you talking about? <v Speaker 3>City eat? Turkey eating? Is wrong with it? Thanksgiving? What <v Speaker 3>are you talking about? Like the way you said it? <v Speaker 3>Turkey eating? What the fuck is wrong with you? Dude? <v Speaker 3>Who fucking talks like that? Turkey eating? I mean, even <v Speaker 3>if you were eating turkey, right, it's still a strange <v Speaker 3>thing to say that. I'd never say it like that. <v Speaker 3>You know, there was a lot what did you in <v Speaker 3>the movie, There's a lot of turkey eating. Any other <v Speaker 3>memories of the film, Well, there was a lot of <v Speaker 3>turkey eating. What are you doing, Like did you guys <v Speaker 3>like grab a turkey biting into it, like just like <v Speaker 3>running around a field. Memories of the movie, not memories <v Speaker 3>of that time you went to Plymouth Plantation for Thanksgiving, <v Speaker 3>not times that Lotentimes you fucking were on Peyote with <v Speaker 3>fucking roddron Guard. <v Speaker 4>Right. <v Speaker 3>At least someone got paid. You got the Paoli and <v Speaker 3>the Payota. <v Speaker 10>That's his favorite kind of crayon for understand. Ah, there's <v Speaker 10>always we say this all the time about characters. It <v Speaker 10>comes down to just a sound. You know, it's all <v Speaker 10>It's all derivative of one general sound. And for Sid <v Speaker 10>to me, it's this, ah, we go from there. <v Speaker 3>Between your gritted teeth. That's it. So River of Darkness <v Speaker 3>was released straight to TVD straight to Hell on Mark <v Speaker 3>twenty nine, twenty eleven. To Hell. That was fun there, <v Speaker 3>you know, there was. I couldn't find any I couldn't <v Speaker 3>find anything on how it did business wise, just no one, <v Speaker 3>fucking no one cared. It was so far off the radar. <v Speaker 3>But I would suffice to say I don't think it <v Speaker 3>did very well. Again, the Beaver County Times was all <v Speaker 3>over it. Straight to video normally equals obscurity. For a movie, <v Speaker 3>but the local director of River of Darkness believes his <v Speaker 3>low budget horror film can find an ample audience. It <v Speaker 3>helps that the film, which debuts Tuesday on DVD, features <v Speaker 3>pro wrestling stars Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid Vicious, and Kurt Angle. Yes, <v Speaker 3>if you go, you know, if you if you do <v Speaker 3>a Google shart, this movie is all over the wrestling blogs, <v Speaker 3>said director Bruce Kohler, a Center Township resident whose North <v Speaker 3>Shore Productions is in Baden. I'll tell you what his <v Speaker 3>fucking production house is. In so many different fucking places right, <v Speaker 3>Oh my god, it's in Valencia, It's in fucking Cranberry Junker, <v Speaker 3>fucking Cranberry Township. It's in fucking Pittsburgh proper. Like every <v Speaker 3>fucking article that I read. It's in a different place <v Speaker 3>at Cranberry Township. That's Conan's favorite town of work, man, <v Speaker 3>it fucking is. And there's Strawberry Township as well. It's <v Speaker 3>the whole fucking Berry community, cran Granbury. You are a <v Speaker 3>straight up Strawberry. The wrestling community knows about this. Those <v Speaker 3>wrestling fans can find the DVD in red box video <v Speaker 3>vending machines coast to coast there's like thirty five thousand <v Speaker 3>of those, said Kohler, who shot a previous film with angle, <v Speaker 3>the family video, the family Video change, who shot a <v Speaker 3>previous film with angle, and who shot a previous angle <v Speaker 3>with film, who shot a previous angle on TNA this <v Speaker 3>past week. Yeah, on impact the Family Video chain in <v Speaker 3>some walmarts will also will carry River of Darkness, which <v Speaker 3>Cohler shot in crystal Clear five point one Dolby Digital <v Speaker 3>Surround Sound. What's going on here? The Cohler shot? This <v Speaker 3>is word for word, which Cohler shot in crystal Clear <v Speaker 3>five point one Dolby Digital Surround Sound. You can't shoot <v Speaker 3>in Doby Digital. Pal, Well, you never met Brad Kohler, Bruce, <v Speaker 3>who's Brad Brad Cohler? Is that MMA fighter? <v Speaker 1>Oh? <v Speaker 3>That was a good one. Oh, I forgot all about him, <v Speaker 3>Brad Coler. Wow, that was a slip. That's funny. That's great. <v Speaker 3>Now I can tell you this. Ciskel and Ebert did not, <v Speaker 3>or at least Ebert he would have now he was <v Speaker 3>still alive. Eber stilllive. Ebert and Roper I suppose at <v Speaker 3>this time did not review this film, as you would imagine. <v Speaker 3>So this went to mainly the genre movie blogs. Which <v Speaker 3>were all over it. So blog critics dot com said, <v Speaker 3>each year, I watch a lot of movies, good, bad, mediocre. <v Speaker 3>I watched pretty much whatever I can get my hands on, <v Speaker 3>although I do tend towards genre fair fucking you know, <v Speaker 3>the fact that genre means horror sci fi is so <v Speaker 3>annoying to me. It's so annoying. What's drama then? Is <v Speaker 3>that not a genre? Comedy? Is that not a genre? <v Speaker 11>Like? <v Speaker 3>Why does genre only focused to fucking you know, basically horror, <v Speaker 3>sci fi exploitation movies being wired the way I am. <v Speaker 3>I was certainly intrigued by the idea of a horror <v Speaker 3>movie starring a few professional wrestlers. While that consict was <v Speaker 3>likely to send a lot of you running for the <v Speaker 3>nearest exit, it brought me knocking, asking for a peak. <v Speaker 3>The door was answered and I got a peek.
