In this week's episode, I share the story of how one woman found me in the most unexpected way. From Australia, to Hawaii, to Canada, every step of her journey unfolded through intuition, trust, and listening to the pull she felt.

After meeting a woman in Hawaii who guided her toward my podcast, she returned home to Australia, continued listening, and later found herself in Canada for a work trip. During that trip, she booked an in-person appointment with me, rented the car, followed the feeling, and eventually took her Reiki Level One course with me. She is a researcher, and a skeptic, but she listened and followed the nudges she was receiving.

This episode is a reminder that the Universe often moves with us, but we have to be willing to take the first step first. Sometimes intuition is not loud or dramatic. Sometimes it sounds like, "I feel like I need to go into this store," "I think I need to call you," or "I don't know why, but I feel like I need to book this appointment."

The next step is not always fully visible when you begin, but when you listen and take action, the path starts to unfold. If something keeps falling into your lap, showing up repeatedly, or pulling at you again and again, there is usually a reason for it.

In this episode, we talk about trusting the pull, taking action before you have all the answers, and why sometimes all you have to do is listen.

In this week's episode, I'm continuing the conversation from episode 305 and diving into a question I hear often: why do my Spirit Guides seem to give me the "wrong" information?

In this episode, I break down why your Spirit Guides are not here to act as answer books or to hand you perfect predictions. Instead, they are guides, teachers, and mirrors that support your growth and development. Sometimes what feels like "wrong" information is actually part of a much deeper lesson that is helping you become more aware of your patterns and your intuition.

I also talk about how Spirit Guide communication develops over time. It is not instant mastery, but a process that moves through different levels of understanding, much like beginner, intermediate, and advanced stages. As you move through these levels, it is actually a sign that you are growing in your spiritual development and strengthening your ability to trust yourself.

In this week's episode, I share how Spirit Guides work with us, how I first became aware of my own guides, and the ways I receive information from them and my Higher Self. When I went mini-viral, I became sick and overwhelmed and was desperate for guidance. My guides simply told me to wait, and the information I needed came days later. This clear guidance was available to me because of the relationship I have built with my guides and Higher Self, and the trust developed over many years.

I also talk about the difference between Spirit Guides and your Higher Self, introduce a few of the guides I work with, including Moe, Susan, and Karen, and explain why your guides are not here to give you answers, but to offer guidance and support.

We also discuss an important truth: everyone receives information from their guides differently. There is no cookie-cutter way your guides have to appear, communicate, or work with you. Your experience is unique, and learning your own language with your guides matters.

I share two common reasons people struggle to receive clear messages from their Guides: not listening to the small nudges first, and constantly waiting for more signs while missing the guidance already in front of them.

I also talk about the importance of creating such a strong client experience that referrals naturally become a major source of growth and why referrals should be one of the biggest focuses in any service-based business.

We also get into what effective advertising and marketing really looks like, including how many hours I spend, what I focus on, and what has actually worked for me when it comes to consistently bringing new people into my business.

In this episode, I'm breaking down how to know when it's time to start charging for your spiritual practices and offerings.

This is something so many people get stuck in. Either waiting too long or jumping in before they feel ready. There is a natural progression to this work, and I walk you through what that actually looks like along with my suggestions with how to move to paid services.

We talk about building up to a one hour session, mastering the client experience, and developing confidence in what that hour holds to develop a polished service. From there, I get into the transition into paid services and what it really takes to feel comfortable charging for your work.

Because the truth is, if you are not at that stage yet, you are not confident enough to be charging.

I also share the signs that it might be time. When people start offering to pay you, referring others to you, or when you no longer want to continue offering sessions for free.

Next episode, we're continuing this conversation and getting into how to find paying clients and grow your clientele once you start charging.

This episode is part two of situations I don't know how to explain, and this experience raised even more questions for me than the first.

Within the span of a few days, I walked into the same bar twice, and both times something happened that I had no awareness of in the moment. According to my friend, I was delivering mediumship messages to him from his mom who had passed as I was greeting him at the door. Two completely different messages, on two different nights.

The part that gets me is that I didn't know I was doing it. I wasn't in a session, I wasn't trying to connect, I wasn't even talking about mediumship. I was just walking into a bar. I share what I remember from the situation and he shares what actually happened.

It took him two years to tell me what he experienced, because it spooked him so much. And when he finally did, he told me I didn't seem like myself at all, like I had completely "blacked out" while I was speaking. I then returned to normal with a "I said hi, how are you?" not aware of what I had just said to him.

This is something I've never experienced before outside of a reading, and it adds a whole other layer to what I shared in part one.

This week's episode is one of the strangest experiences I've had in my work and something I'm still trying to fully understand.

A client came in for a session and the moment I saw his name, I recognized it. When he arrived, I greeted him like I already knew him. It felt natural and familiar, like we had met before. I even asked him when I had last seen him.

But, according to my system, he had no previous appointments, and when I asked him, he told me we had never met.

That's when things took a turn.

I couldn't snap out of it. For the entire hour session, it felt like I was remembering something that didn't actually happen. Not like typical déjà vu where something feels familiar for a moment, but like a full memory. I I knew why he was there, I knew details about his life, and when I shared what I was getting, his response was, "we've never met before".

In this episode, I walk you through exactly what happened, what it felt like in my body, how it impacted the session, and the questions it has brought up for me since.

This is part one of a series because this wasn't an isolated incident. There have been other experiences happening that I can't fully explain yet, and i'll be sharing more in part 2.

In this episode, I'm celebrating episode 300 of the podcast and taking a moment to reflect on the journey that got me here.

I share how this all began, from recording episode one of the first time I connected with spirit, and what this path has looked like behind the scenes over the years. This episode walks through the moments that shaped not only this podcast, but also my work and the way I show up today. It brought up more emotion than I expected and feels like a true full circle moment.

I also share what I'm most proud of when I look back on reaching 300 episodes and everything it took to stay consistent, grow, and continue showing up on this podcast over the last almost 7 years.

In the second half of the episode, I answer a series of questions submitted on Instagram. I speak into topics like whether the future is predetermined, how to tell the difference between intuitive information and your own thoughts, and the biggest tip I would give someone developing their mediumship. I also talk about what I personally see and experience in my work, including whether I see auras or anything connected to nature, and how Reiki supported the development of my mediumship.

I answer questions around whether devices like an Apple Watch or Oura Ring affect energy work, whether spirit communication is always loving or can come from a place of ego or separation, and what it means when spirit begins to come through during Reiki sessions. I also share my process for energetically "turning off" when I'm in crowds, reference earlier podcast episodes (50 and 70) where I talk about the eggshell analogy, and speak to the idea of identifying what kind of intuitive or "woo-woo" person you might be.

In this episode, I'm sharing a story from early in my career about a moment when I completely stuck my foot in my mouth while sharing psychic information.

It happened during an Instagram Live when I said that I felt someone would be having a baby soon. What I meant by "soon" and what the person hearing it understood were two very different things.

Months later, I received a very strongly worded email about how this message gave her false hope, as she was not yet pregnant. I learned a very important lesson from this that I will never forget.

Timing is one of the most difficult parts of psychic information. Words like "soon" can mean very different things depending on who is hearing them and what expectations they attach to that word.

In this episode, I talk about why timing can be so tricky in intuitive work and why I personally choose to be very careful when it comes to speaking about fertility or timelines. Experiences like this shaped how I approach my work today and taught me the importance of being thoughtful with the way intuitive information is delivered. I always want to share the good, the bad, and the ugly lessons I've learned over the years.

And while the situation felt very uncomfortable at the time, it ultimately had a very happy ending. Tune in to hear the full story and the unexpected way this situation eventually came full circle.

This episode was inspired by ordinary trip to the gym, but it quickly turned into a spirit trying to visit someone in class.

I share a moment when someone asked me if I could feel her grandmother around her at the gym. Normally, I'm completely off and don't sense energy randomly. I also talk about why reading someone else's energy without consent is unethical.

I share a story about a mother's energy that lingered around me at the gym for a week. It took me months to realize it was one of my friend's moms. This led to a deeper reflection on how, as adults, we rarely talk about our passed loved ones even when our friends are mediums.

The realization came at a Christmas brunch while discussing family traditions, when I discovered two of my friends had lost their moms. The energy I had been feeling at the gym turned out to be one of their moms visiting. The synchronicity was uncanny, especially since we all go to the gym at the same time every day.

In this episode, I share one of the most synchronistic client stories I have ever heard that shocked me!

It began with a client simply hearing about Canada. Then she kept hearing about Banff. Then Reiki kept coming into conversation. One connection led to another until she found my podcast, or should I say my podcast found her. My episode randomly started playing in her car. Every step felt connected, intentional and mind blowing.

I receive messages often from people sharing the unexpected ways they find my podcast, but this one truly shook me. The synchronicities were undeniable.

This episode is a reminder that sometimes you do not find a podcast by accident. Sometimes it finds you. I believe that if you are here listening, you are here for a reason. Whether you are developing your intuition, stepping into Reiki, or deepening your spiritual path, you are not here randomly. One thing I know for sure, is my podcast will find you when you need it.

What do you see when you close your eyes?

In this episode, we explore the Aphantasia Scale, a one to five spectrum that describes how vividly you visualize in your mind's eye, and how that directly influences your mediumship and intuition.

Many people assume that being intuitive means seeing clear mental images, but that is not necessarily true. Visualization exists on a spectrum, and intuitive information can come through in many different ways depending on your natural strengths. I discuss why understanding where you fall on the scale matters and how it helps you stop forcing your intuition to look a certain way.

Your ability to visualize does not determine your intuitive ability. When you understand how your mind works, you can develop your gifts with greater confidence and clarity.

This episode offers reassurance for anyone who has questioned their intuitive ability because their inner world does not look cinematic or crystal clear. Your mind's eye does not determine your capacity for connection. How you understand and strengthen your natural way of receiving information is what truly matters.

Skepticism and spirituality are not opposites.

This episode was inspired by a conversation inside my Reiki Level One course, where someone asked a very honest question. They wondered whether they were feeling heat in their hands during practice or if their hands were simply warm. They questioned whether their dreams had become more vivid because of the course or if that change was completely random.

These are important questions to ask.

In this episode, I talk about why being skeptical in your spiritual development is not a problem to fix, but a strength to use. Whether you are developing your intuition, practicing Reiki, or exploring mediumship, you cannot build confidence on blind belief alone. You build confidence by collecting evidence. You build it by paying attention to patterns. You build it by noticing what repeats over weeks and months instead of dismissing experiences as coincidence or imagination.

Skepticism becomes powerful when you use it as a lens, not to shut yourself down, but to test what is happening.

I explore the difference between healthy skepticism and self-sabotage, and why isolated experiences do not build trust, but consistent patterns do. I talk about how to track and evaluate your intuitive experiences over time and why proving yourself right or wrong is part of the process. Doubt does not weaken your spiritual foundation when it is used intentionally. It strengthens it.

You do not need to turn off your logic in order to grow spiritually. You need to use it well.

In this episode, I talk about one of the most important and often misunderstood skills in mediumship: learning to say exactly what you get, without interpretation or adding extra information.

So many developing mediums struggle not because the information is wrong, but because they change it before it ever leaves their mouth. In this conversation, I share why accuracy matters and how over-interpreting can actually dilute the information you're receiving and turn a yes into a no.

I walk through three real examples from my own practice where this skill went right and wrong. One story involves one of my mentees and seeing a swing and assuming it meant a playground, when it wasn't a swing at a park at all. And in a third example, I share a moment from one of my monthly mediumship practice circles, where broken glasses was the correct information, but how it was delivered from spirit was clever to get the developing medium to say the correct thing.

I had a brave Reiki Level One student ask the question that is on everyone's mind.

How long does it take to feel something? How long until you feel confident? How long until you feel like you actually know what you're doing?

In this episode, I talk about what it really looks like to learn Reiki, mediumship, or any intuitive skill over time, and why the early stages can feel so uncomfortable even when you're doing everything right. If you've ever wondered whether your progress is normal, this conversation is for you.

I share realistic timelines that I've seen again and again, both in my own development and while teaching others. Around three months is often when things start to make more sense and understanding begins to settle in. Between six and nine months, confidence usually starts to grow as practice becomes more familiar. And around a year to a year and a half is a realistic goal for feeling genuinely good at something, not because you're perfect, but because you've practiced enough to trust yourself.

We talk about how confidence doesn't suddenly appear. It grows through repetition. The more you practice, the faster you get there. And the feelings of doubt, uncertainty, and questioning yourself are things we all experience, even if it doesn't always look that way from the outside.

I also share why keeping notes as you practice can be one of the most helpful tools for building confidence. When you write things down, you begin to see your growth over time, even when it feels slow in the moment.

This episode is a reminder that feeling unsure is normal. It is not a sign that you are failing or doing something wrong. You are learning a new skill, and learning takes time.

Keep practicing until you feel confident, and trust that your confidence will grow along the way!

In this week's episode, I share part 2 following episode #287, with what happened when my family listened to the mediumship recording together, and how the messages continued to unfold.

Listening to the recording as a family was a powerful experience. There were moments where the messages landed differently for each of us, and moments where the meaning revealed itself as we listened together. There was also one single word said at the very end of the reading became a complete mic drop moment.

This episode also explores not so subtle signs that showed up for different people. Things we found at the lodge that let us know my uncle was there with us. The unexpected discovery of a CD while in town...yes, a CD!!

I also share the experience of having one family member who was not interested in listening to the recording at all. I share my perspective on how to navigate situations like this and why not everyone needs to be on board with mediumship.

This week's episode shares a personal story following the unexpected passing of my uncle and the powerful signs, synchronicities, and spirit confirmations that unfolded within the 48 hours after his death.

For someone who has worked with spirit for years, this experience still moved me in a way I was not prepared for. I speak about how I found myself at the gym at a time I would never normally be there, with my phone on me when I almost never bring my phone, and how those small details became part of a much bigger orchestration.

I also share how my cousin had been trying to schedule a practice reading with a mentee of mine for weeks and how the timing never aligned, only for the most profound mediumship messages to come through at exactly the moment they were needed most. Messages not just for one person, but for every member of our family.

In this episode, I talk about the dog that passed a message to three different people, the unmistakable synchronicities that kept stacking, and how spirit moved through conversation, timing, and signs in a way that felt impossible to ignore.

I share the full story of how I sat on my couch from 8:30 pm until 12:30 am, feeling the strongest pull to get to my friend's birthday party. It made no logical sense. I was tired, cozy, and absolutely not in a go to the bar mood. But the nudge wouldn't let up.

When I finally listened and left the house after midnight, everything became clear. I met someone I was meant to meet, had a conversation I didn't know would be relevant, and received the confirmation that this wasn't random, it was indeed guided.

In the episode, I talk about how to tell the difference between intuition and overthinking, and what strong intuitive nudges feel like in real time. I explain why intuition often asks us to do things that make zero logical sense, and how trusting timing even when it's wildly inconvenient can lead to aligned moments you could never plan.

A dragonfly flew into my ear and got stuck in my hair twice over three weeks, and it would not leave my mind, so I made a quick Instagram reel about it. Later, a client told me she had asked her dad in spirit to send me dragonflies as a sign for her. That same day, a second client shared that she had asked her late husband to get me to say the word "rainbow" in her session as a sign for her, and I did. Six years. Wow! Today, we celebrate 275 episodes and 6 years of The Medium in the Middle Podcast. Thank you for pressing play, sending messages, leaving reviews, and trusting me. I am so grateful that you are here. Thank you for accepting me and my wild mediumship journey with open arms, as I shared my story, like diary entries, over the last six years. This community has carried my show further than I ever imagined.

This episode picks up right where we left off in part 1!

In part 1, I left you at walking over to the memorial stand, and as I approached that stand, the poem instantly made sense, and I knew I had to deliver this message to the Bride.

After that confirmation, I had another family member in spirit appear to say hello, and he made his entrance loud and fast! It took me a moment to realize what was going on, but then I had to practice what I preach - clearing! After getting home from the wedding, the Bride's mother would not let me forget about writing down this poem and getting it to the bride.

I recently attended a family wedding, and in the months leading up to it, I kept hearing a poem-like speech in my head. I knew it was a message from Spirit, specifically, from the bride's late mother.

While doing a Reiki session, I was interrupted by a very loud bird outside the window, and it wasn't just a coincidence. This bird wasn't just making noise... it was delivering a message from Spirit without breaking my Spirit boundaries.

As the practicing medium, it's your job to not only be the channel, but also the interpreter. That means preparing your sitter for the session, asking the right questions, and staying curious about each piece of information that comes through. We talk about how to explore details with your sitter, like asking, "Why was Grandma's purple hat significant?"—to start learning how Spirit communicates with you.

I went to see an illusionist, and it completely blew my mind. I had to share it with you! I was so amazed, I walked out of the first show and immediately bought tickets for the next night's show. It was that good!

In this episode, I share how I ended up as a sitter in a mediumship practice circle who was meant to be receiving readings but ended up reading my partners! Spirit works in mysterious ways. I had just finished work, saw a request on Facebook for a sitter, knew I would be selected, joined the group and then ended up giving two people amazing messages from their loved ones. This week, I am sharing a story from a mentor client who went from confused to clear about the signs her Mom was trying to send her in Spirit. I had to share this story so others can hear that when you write things down, you can clearly see the overwhelming amount of signs you are probably receiving every single day! In this episode, we are discussing mediumship eyes. What does that mean?! When you receive information from Spirit, pay attention to what emotions and feelings you receive when you look at people. Does that person look like your wife, daughter, or sister? What emotions do you feel, what does your brain say when you look at them? This episode is helpful for developing mediums and for if you want to practice group readings and placing the Spirit to the correct person. Group mediumship readings do not have to be scary! They should feel "easy" because there are many more Spirits to connect to you and match with their loved ones.

Is your energy or chakras BLOCKED? No, and let me explain why. This episode discusses why energy should never be described as blocked, how your chakras are constantly opening and closing and how these energy changes are not "good or bad" they just are. As energy workers, we should never make anyone feel bad about their energy. Using words like "good, bad, open, closed, and blocked" just makes the person feel bad about their energy with zero information about what that means. Energy community: please STOP using these words to describe energy, and find something to say that is helpful (not harmful) to your clients!

A mediumship story this week, of a dream visitation from someone before they passed. The Medium in the Middle woke up one day searching Google for obituaries after having a dream visitation, only to find out a week later what her dream meant and that it was the soul saying goodbye before they passed.
