Blurry Creatures

Tim Alberino is back to take us on a fascinating journey into the blurry history of Peru. Tim lived in Peru for more than a decade and in his travels, he went to remote villages and met native people that had remarkable encounters with legendary creatures. Deep in the mountains, the locals told him stories of a strange race of cloaked-white-haired Nordic-looking men that live under the Andes. Some of the native people told stories of these men coming and going on strange metallic craft and appearing many times in villages in the remotest parts of the Andes mountains. Local priests told Tim of giants and strange red-eyed entities that acted as the gatekeepers for arranging meetings with these mysterious "Viracochas". Local legends of these sightings go all the way back to the earliest post-flood civilizations that allegedly received help from these entities in rebuilding after a great cataclysm. This is a topic that Tim has never spoken on publicly and his first episode on the Viracochas of Peru.

This week we honor a legend and true renaissance man. We were sad to hear of the passing of Joe Taylor last week and as a tribute, are releasing the last episode we recorded him. The legendary Dr. Michael Heiser has stepped from our realm into the unseen realm. He is and was the reason this podcast came to be. We want to honor him by re-releasing our first episode with him. Mike was gracious to come on our show a few times. He is best known for authoring the chart-topping book ‘Unseen Realm’, Heiser talks with us about free will, the supernatural themes of the Bible, and why most of us have missed the beginning of the human narrative. Zach Bell from veteranwithasign joins Blurry Creatures as we cap off a month or more of military accounts and stories from the Blurryverse. A former marine, he did multiple tours in Afghanistan before coming home to work on behalf of the veterans of our armed forces. While never planning on being a voice for the military and veterans community, there were glaring issues in that space he cared deeply about, and it all began by holding up a cardboard sign on the side of the road that read: “Take Motrin, drink water, change your socks.” Now a massive movement for veteran health and well-being, Zach is using humor and handwritten signs to bring awareness to the struggles of those who served us both domestically and overseas. While on deployment, Zach had some encounters in the wilds of Afghanistan with the unexplained. From the stories told by afghani translators and local villagers of giants in the north, to the local account of the Kandahar Giant that predates public knowledge, and even seeing a UFO hovering and tracing his position while on patrol--Zach brings these experiences and reports directly from the front lines.

It's the unofficial military month on Blurry Creatures, and it continues with an incredible encounter from the wilds of Afghanistan. The most famous modern-day giant account is the Kandahar Giant--which set the internet on fire with its release in 2016.  Since then, whispers and stories of other military operations encountering giant humanoids have trickled in, many finding their way to outlets like Coast to Coast Radio. This week, we speak to a US military operator who had an unforgettable encounter while on watch, one fateful night near the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Sitting on a ridge, this soldier spotted something on his thermal that he could not explain. The new night vision technology the army was testing out at that time had the capability to see ripples in clothing from 500 yards and what he saw, he'll never forget. Across an expanse, a massive human-like heat signature stood up and it was at least as tall as the 14ft tree it stood next to. Did this soldier have an encounter with one of the legendary giants of Afghanistan?

In 2004, an American fighter plane from the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz encountered and engaged with a UFO over the open ocean. The official U.S. government video of this encounter is possibly the most popular "official" UFO video ever released to the public. In this exclusive Members-Only episode we bring on a now-retired Navy Chief who was aboard the USS Nimitz as a naval intelligence officer on the day of the infamous tic-tac encounter.
