Today's guest is Rod Blagojevich, the former American politician who served as the 40th Governor of Illinois from 2003 to 2009 as a member of the Democratic Party. 

Blagojevich's political career was marked by controversy and scandal. He was arrested, impeached and then convicted on multiple counts of corruption, including wire fraud and extortion. After 2 trials, He was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison in 2011.

After serving nearly eight years in prison, his sentence was commuted by then-President Donald Trump in February 2020, and he was released.  Blagojevich's case remains a subject of controversy and debate, questioning whether or not he is a symbol of political corruption and the abuse of power, or is he someone who was failed by a corrupt system. 

He discusses the political stories of the day, the  current state of the Democratic Party and on Trump's chances for re-election.  We talk about his life before politics, how he got into it and where it took a wrong turn. 

He candidly opens up about his life in jail, what it was like to finally have a chance at freedom again, and what, if anything, he plans to do to reverse his narrative. Like him or hate him, this is hands down one of our most fascinating and in depth interviews thus far.

Judith spent her career as a midwife, helping bring countless babies into the world.  Although she retired, she was not done helping families.  Now she helps them in a different way, she volunteers to aid individuals who are terminally ill with ending their life through legalized assisted suicide.

We discuss Brittany Maynard, a young woman, who brought the difficult subject matter to the forefront when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and decided it was the right decision for her and for her family.  The country followed her story as she was forced to move to Oregon in order to do it legally.

Judith brings humanity to this very hot button issue, allowing us a behind the scenes look at the doctors and patients behind the headlines.  Some might not agree with what she does, or those who choose to do it, but it’s an incredible story worth listening to and learning from.

Vanessa has been embroiled in reality news gossip as of late, as the court upheld a restraining order against her ex-fiancé, Luis Ruelas from The Real of Housewives of New Jersey and new husband to Teresa Giudice.  

She alleges that Ruelas hired infamous private investigator Bo Deidle to “stalk her” by sending a fake patient to her office.  In our conversation, Vanessa will share her firsthand experience of being in a long-term relationship with a narcissistic partner.  

Now a renowned psychotherapist, she specializes in narcissistic personality disorder, providing crucial support to those affected by domestic violence and other forms of abuse. 

During our conversation, Vanessa discusses her personal experience -  why she chose this path to focus on while shedding the light on major relationship red flags. We get DEEP  into understanding narcissistic abuse- how to navigate these relationships and how to get out of them.
