The tar holes, uh, the tutorials, and uh, this would be bad for the podcast, so we're not going to observe. Okay. Day of silence. I've been coming dot series on Instagram. We are filming the pilot of a comedy TV series. Two city players in specific, uh, stumble in the success. Sure. His national grab ass day. Sure it is. My wife's talking to me. He's actually that I'm promoting this because he's a little school system principal. And it calls flying. Oh no. You're listening to the rad cast. If it's radical, we cover it. Here's your host, Ryan Alfred. Hey guys. What's up? Welcome to the latest edition of the rad cast is Friday, April 8th, 2022, marketing, advertising, stories of the weird news. Stories of the weird isn't good. Christina Yassi, Joe Hammerick. Welcome to the show. Yeah. Glad to be here. You're still here. Yeah, it was well all week just waiting. It started. You've been sitting in the spot. Yeah, it's dedication. You haven't seen that chair for five days. We did a sit-in, you know, we're, uh, we're not pretty calls. No, no calls. It's just nothing. She's really tired. Yeah. I am. It was beer day yesterday. So, you know, like, I just thought we'd sit in for it, waiting for it to come around. Beer day was just, I think national beer day was yesterday. It's not on our show notes because it was yesterday. Where's that fireball keg? Still on back order. Good Lord forever. It's been, are we getting a fireball keg? Four months. Coming up on a long time. They're the small kegs, but yeah, still looking keg is a keg. Yeah, yeah, it's been a while. It's been a while. Yeah, they need to get it together. They didn't make enough of them clearly. Or they're scarcity principle. Mm-hmm. They think it's marketing. Maybe put it on eBay. Yeah, and get it. Like a twinkie. You can sell food or drink on. I guess you sell wine. How do you, right? There's a wine eBay maybe. Well, when, when twinkies went extinct briefly, weren't they on eBay for like hundreds of dollars? Probably. Like the last box. That sounds something stupid enough to be sure to lock your shirt. They last forever anyway, right? They do. They have no expiration. Oh, yeah, scary. Everybody had a good week. Yeah. Yeah, fantastic. Hey, great. I know you crowd them on that. I did cry on Monday. The tar holes. Oh, right. Oh, yeah. Look at her. They hurt that. And it sucks. It's going into it. We were all like, oh, they're, you know, it's probably not going to win. We do. Everyone's great. And then they got our hopes up. Oh, yeah, up 16. And blew it. Oh, my word. I was just. Just the old. Yeah, take it right in the rear. Yeah, the old rear. And this is the first year I've really been like emotionally invested in March Madness. So I was not prepared. Surprise me that you were that invested. Yeah, yeah. Same. But oh, man, no going back. It's what you get. Tar hill, born Tar hill, bred. It's a big let that's it. It's part of the cheer. Oh, which I also know now. Wow. No, oh, no. Read my lips. Thanks. No, early and often. Perfect. Yeah, going for it. Perfect. I did see a first viewing. I know you have as well of up and coming. Yes. So, uh, was pleasantly surprised. We love the honesty. You guys can actually act a little. We love the honesty. I have my bachelor's degree in acting. Peter. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. Well, you've been acting like a graduate for a long time. Yeah. That's your parents must be. Peter, I'm so proud. Yeah, they're well, they're they're so supportive, which is why I'm not a genius. Okay. I don't have enough trauma to be a genius. Why? But I have I was homeschooled. So I have enough trauma to be finding. Genius. Yeah, yeah. Oh, I thought you just meant like, I'm very smart. No, I know. No, I know. Right. For anyone wondering what we're talking about, up and coming up and coming. Dot series on Instagram. We are filming a pilot of a comedy TV series. It's quite funny. It's not two city planners. Who accidentally really for, but for a group of four, but two city planners in specific, uh, stumble into success. Sure. And uh, we're excited about it. Yeah. It's some funny stuff in there. It's some funny stuff. So if you're listening, and you want to get on the investment training, we are looking for some investors, potentially to, uh, join us on this venture journey. Yes. We do have over four million impressions on social media from the characters from the show. So we do have a proof of concept. And quite a funny pilot. And I guarantee it's unlike anything you've seen before. That's guaranteed. That's a promise. Yes, an absolute promise. But it's quite funny, quite irreverent, uh, and, uh, I think that it's charming to be hit. I think it's, I think it's very charming. It is, it is, it is. It has lots of opportunities. Okay. That's from the show. Oh, yes. Okay. Branding. All right. Good. Very well done. Yes. Doe had a good week though. Yeah. Good week. Yep. It's a lot of soccer. A lot of youth. Middle school soccer too. Would you let me fucking finish my thing first? She's always trying to put it. It's like, yeah. Oh, I'm so good. Woman's planning. Woman's planning. Exactly. It's such a planning. Such a problem in today's America. Anyway, Christina. What are you doing? Jesus. Uh, where did I talk about me? What's happening? Where do you talk about me? My, my tar heels. Okay. Well, I did some soccer youth stuff. So Christina, so she's part of mine too, I guess. Oh, boy. Well, no for off. Moving on. Did you win your soccer games? My son won his soccer game. Yes. One to zero last night. He's got another one tonight at back. If anybody wants to come out. Back middle school. Back middle school. You know what's fun to do at back? What's up? Yeah. Not go there. Not go. Nash, my five-year-old, who, uh, actually just turned six this week. I scored four goals in his soccer game. Maybe they won four to nothing. Boom. Every goal. He scored us seven goals in two games. Okay. And, uh, he's crushing it. Yeah. That's awesome. It sounds like he's the, the kid that he's about, uh, 20 pounds heavier and six inches taller than every kid out there. And he finally, and last year he cried through most of it. And didn't realize how big he was, how capable he was. And this year he's turned it on and he realizes that he can dominate. That's awesome. It's like a, it's like a switch. A coming-of-age story. Yeah. And he's crushing some kids. My, so my son was the same way he went from regular size to like, he's like six feet tall now. He's 13. So I'm like, dude, you're, dude, you're bigger. I know. He's, you're, you're, you're manned. And so we finally figured it out. So now he's, yeah. Yeah. That's five dollars I pay him for goal. There you go. He's very money money. There you go. Yeah. Really? He, uh, every time he scores, he holds up, he gets, he gets, he draws a five bomb. My dad would give me $10. Every time I got it to merit in college. That's the opposite. I thought that was bad. Yeah, but I went to Bob Jones. So like, uh, I got to merit. And he was like, oh, good for you. Uh, okay. I'm going to, my son plays goalkeeper. So maybe I'm going to offer, I mean, about for him. $10 per goal. Oh, yeah. A 50, probably safe. 50, the goalkeeper. And then he's going to fucking still probably score some. Yeah. Oh, my god. Put it down the other end. 50 bucks down. Yeah, they clear out the goal. Yeah, he just celebrates just the 50 bucks. He doesn't care about anything else. Yes. So, uh, good week of soccer around the offered in the hammers houses. Radical news and soccer for Christina too. Oh, yeah. Yes, I'm the, I'm the only one getting played. A paid to play. A paid to play. A paid to play. Well, except for his son's actually getting paid as well. Oh, that's true. That's true. That's true. Yes, that's true. Rackel pinning 10 UFC fighter was on this week. Tuesday. Everyone saw that episode. She didn't beat me up. But she did talk about beating up the competition. Sure. And her journey is quite interesting. Listen, back to that was pretty happy with that. And Allison Forency. Camera IQ. So, this was interesting. That's next week. She's the CEO of founder of camera, co-founder of camera IQ. This is a R. So, like, where you can go and try on things. So, like, again, or make up. So, like, you go on a site and you can put make up on the face and different things like that. Yeah, I'm familiar with that technology. Yes. So, they have the technology and they sell to other people that have e-commerce stores. Like that for using that AR technology and 3D imaging and everything that happens with applying, you know, trying on things or putting make up on face or all that stuff. Like when you put furniture in a room. Exactly. Exactly. Camera IQ. Allison Forency next week. We talked deep about the metaverse in AR. Allison is very versed. One of the smartest people I know in this space with understanding it. She did a great job. I think so. If you're out there and you're listening and you wanted to get up to speed, you know, we have fun. We talk about NFTs and metaverse and all that stuff. But in all seriousness, Allison is super knowledgeable. I learned a lot from listening to her. So, she probably have her come in here and explain it to us. Well, yeah, we actually talked about doing a follow-up episode in the metaverse. So, yeah. Oh, that me kind of saw. Okay. Yes. All right. Okay. There you go. Yes, yes. And if you didn't notice, I mean, I've been talking for a while. I noticed. You know, and if you're watching the episode, you can see it. And I'll even grab this guy here. We've been talking about our official merchandise sponsor, branded bills, brandedbills.com from Radcasthats or NFTs. Yeah. That has official. We'll sign them for you. Yeah. We will sign them somewhere with a white pen and maybe you don't want us to. On the inside of the bill. Look, we're going to be famous from our pilot. So, you might want us to. Yeah, it's true. Get ahead of it. Brandedbills, brandedbills.com. We've got the new Radcasthat. We're going to be doing it in a giveaway. I mean, you know, I'll get Allison for NCT to come in and we'll do some AR. VR. Very good. PR. PR. Hey. Okay. All right. Thank you. Okay. Thank you very much. I'm going to take off. So that's my time. And that's my time. Yes. And everyone's favorite segment. It's time for another absurd holiday. There's no shortage of dumb things to celebrate. Oh, Radcast. Social media. Holiday segment. Yeah. Yes. I love that song. Everyone does. I love it. I just love watching you love that song. Yes. It's going to be on a experience Spotify soon. Is that right? Is it not already Spotify? I wanted it to my ringtone. Yeah. Oh, it could probably happen. I think I didn't need it as one. April 8th, which is today, there's three important social holidays for everyone out there. Head of the curve as you head of the curve. Yep. Number one. And this would be bad for the podcast. So we're not going to observe it. Okay. It's day of silence. Ah, ah, ah, ah. Yeah. There it is. That's all did I dare we're going to give you. Welcome. We don't want you. You can't turn to station, but you can't stop the play. Yeah. So let's, uh, let's celebrate it too hard. Bad podcast. Yeah. Day of silence is today. So, uh, Friday day of silence, April 8th. I'll have to tell my wife. Oh, she doesn't listen. It's a day of listening. I'll tell her about that one too. Yeah. National impenata day. Look, I love impenata. It's really the miracle. Yeah, that is, that is very good. Impenata. That's nice. Hey, getting better thing over it. Yeah, I like an impenata. Do you like impenata? I'm not an impenata fan. No, no. Like in general or, or, yeah, I'm just kind of like, yeah, you wouldn't choose it. I'll have a taco. Urban win has impenatas, and they have like wagyu beef in them. Okay. Well, I'm like, you can turn it for that. We just ate there. We just ate it there. Why did I get that? I don't know. I didn't see that on the menu. I don't know. I'm gonna get a bar menu. I have no idea what I ate there. Oh, yeah. We ate all kinds of. That's how it is. We're eating like all kinds of. They also have like the best happy hour in the G Vegas area. Do they like good deals? Yeah, it's like half off all of their liquor from four to seven at the bar. The bartenders are great. Hardly even newer. Yeah. It was pretty cool. We sat in the private room. Yeah, right. Right back. You know, the bartenders deserve for all the special people. Yeah, I shouldn't brag. How are you the, she's the one they were telling us. Moving on, it's national zoo lovers day. Hmm. Hmm. Good wild. Yeah. So is national zoo day different? Yeah, it's zoo lovers day. Not zoo, it's zoo lovers. I guess if you're the three of you, you love yourself, but I don't know. Yeah, that sounds yucky. Is that like, uh, what's a tiger, tiger king? Sure. Well, he's a zoo lover probably. Yeah, he's a, he's a something. He's something else. Something else. He's a lot going on. Oh, well, there you have April 8th, April 9th tomorrow, Saturday. Look forward to it. National cherish an antique day. Cherish an antique day. He's got to hold it. Cherish it. Yeah, cherish it. Like a huge, I think it drawers or something. You're just like hugged. Oh, I love these. This is so good. I love this lamp. Yeah. I love lamb. Look at that. Yeah, we need something there. I don't know. Ah, wrong button. Yeah, it was kind of scary. It was. Yes. National Chinese almond cookie day. Why Chinese? It's so specific. Yeah, I'll get me almond. I'll tell you this. Here's a little anecdote for you, Nick. Every Christmas, there's a place called Dragon Den. Yes. Oh, yeah. That's still open. There's one over there off of close to my house. Sort of murder. No, that's a pleasant break. That's now called Asia Pacific. Same lady. Yeah, but that used to be Dragon Den. The original Dragon Den was awesome. Yeah. But so this, that Asia Pacific place is so much better. It's so good. It's so good. It's like authentic. Oh, my god. They went dim sum. Anyway. So Dragon Den, we eat there all the time because my son loves it. It gets the same fucking thing every time. Which is. Of course. Chicken low main. Ah, chicken low main. And he likes a side of white rice now for some reason. I just eat beef low main. It's the best. It's the way to go. I mean, that's really honest. So they give us a tin of cookies every year. It's about this big red tin. I'll bring them in if we're still doing that cast. And they're fucking terrible. Every single one of them individually wrapped. They're individually wrapped. And so they're all these different kinds. Probably an almond cookie in there. There's so there's like a prank that I do to people. I'm like, oh, here's this. There's Chinese desserts for no good. No good. So weird. No good. Ugh. And acquired taste. I guess. No, what it is. Quarant. Yeah. I do like Dragon Den. It's good. I hate it. Clearly. I got a good story that no one will care about. But it's, you know, it's what this is about. Yeah. It's good. It's an overshow. The original Dragon Den on Pleasantburg. Yeah. There was a lot of silk arrangements in there. My mom and dad did every one of them in the original one. My mom recently got silk arrangements on the side. Yeah. That was her side gig. She's an outdoor. My dad did the silk trees. You know, like a, like you have a stick in the middle and that they look like little miniature trees. But they're silk arrangements. We did all of those. It's like to get to my childhood. We would get all the time. Every one of the arrangements in there. My parents did. We're so connected. Yes. Oh my god. This is like 1987. Yeah. I wonder if there's still a round in there. Probably in there. You know, they don't, they don't die. There's silk arrangements. No, no, they hold up. That's a good thing. It's half-asian grocery store. You only have to buy one. So half-asian grocery store have, and they do have live fish that you can buy. Oh, like coy. I think fish to eat. But so you could, if you wanted, you can like just dunk it out of there. I think you have to have some assistance from the camera. Did they sell them to you live or did they kill them? And then I didn't, I don't know. I don't know if you have a choice. There's like a step in there. Nick, can you look into that, please? Thank you. He's got it. Is it Ryan's a former coy owner, by the way? Oh. We had a coy pond in the back of the pond. Did you regret a part of it? A college. Oh, yeah. We had a coy pond. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It wasn't a... Clemson? It wasn't. Yeah. It wasn't a Clemson thing to do. Apartment is it was like a townhome. Townhome. Yeah. Yeah. Townhome. Might have been the greatest college townhome of all time. Hot tub. Hot tub. Or the coy fish in the hot tub. And we built the bar with the fish tank in it. And it was pretty dope. Yeah. It was pretty good. I also remember when the fish had died, or they before you got the fish, lighting that on fire with gasoline. You know that? Yeah. Not me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Someone did. It was me. I don't know. Maybe not. I don't know. Knowing both of you are fathers is the right way. Well, it's the easy part. Yeah. Yeah. We could laugh about it now. We're okay. We're okay. Yeah. Uh, April night. Don't light things on fire. Moving on quickly. Not especially yourself. Right. It's your national name yourself day. Name yourself. What would you like to call yourself? Oh, Christine, you go first. I think my name suits me. I'm going to stick with it. No, it's not that great. Yep. You know what? Yes, I see. Christina Rosie. I'll see. Cry. We're aware. Name yourself day. It's also national unicorn day. Of course it is. I do love unicorn. Is that okay? It's the national animal of somewhere. Scotland or something like that? A unicorn. Nick, you look that up for us. It would be something in the British Isles. Nick's got it. Yeah, he's not he's not. Why are you not writing any of this down? Yeah. We got to keep moving here. Yeah. This is, yeah. April 10th. Encourage a young writer day. You know, as a writer, Joe, you should uh, encourage someone. Then I can be loved in the script. You should write a next episode. Oh, no. Probably not. No ladies. No reason why I live. No. It's a good day though. It is a good day. It's also national cinnamon crescent day. It is not croissant. It's crescent. What's a national crescent? Are we sure? What's a cinnamon crescent? I don't know. We're sure it's not croissant. It's definitely spelled crescent. There's no A in this. Yeah, it's not, you know, whether it's a typo, I don't know, but it does say crescent in the show notes. Yes, yes, yes, uh, moving on. I don't know what national farm animals day. B-I-N-G-O. Very good. There you go. We'll leave it at that. Sure. National hug your dog day on Sunday. Yeah, I don't like that. He doesn't like hugging. Does he bite? A little bit. Oh, yeah. One of the national holidays for the USA and Canada Sunday, national siblings day. So, uh, give your brother, sister, stepbrother, step, sure, whatever. Well, Instagram posts, little ins to shout out. Sure. Yeah. And I'm going to butcher this, but world homopathy day, homopathy, homopathy. Homopathy. Very terrible. Very close. That's very close. Was not as bad as I normally do. No, you would, you would seem a little apprehensive about it. Yeah, I think I was worried I was going to say something about home. Yeah, it's on home. Yeah, yeah. I don't know what homopathy necessarily is. They call meopathic remedies. It's like basically essential oil day is how I took it. St. John's word. That type of stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like the simplification. National oil's day. It's different day. Rub some oils on it. Yeah. Oil it up. April 11th. National Barbershop quartet day. Oh, my favorite. I've been waiting on it. I do love a good harmony. Yeah. Is that Monday? That's Monday. April 11th. Barbershop quartet coming here in Serenage. If only that were possible. We could make that happen. And while we're doing it, we can have some cheese fondue. Because it's cheese fondue day. On Monday. On Monday. I'm a very cheese-movated person. The old multi-pot. There it is. It's still there. I know. We actually go there. So I love the multi-pot. It was my wife and I's first date. We had known each other for quite a while, but we'd never actually go out on a date. So a first date. Brilliant business. You know, you have to cook it yourself. You pay to cook it yourself. Yeah. And it takes four GD ever to eat there. It's like four hours. I've never been there. Are we serious? Yeah. Which is a lot for someone that's cheese-movated. My God. You can go on there. You've never been to Melting Potten. Have you ever been anything like it? Like that concept? No. I mean, just like wetting to the chocolate fountain. Oh my God. You're missing out. Really? Like I've had fondue before, but it's been, again, like bridal showers. All my friends are married. Debatable. Nick, you've had fondue, right? Yeah. Okay. You like it? Yeah. Velvet. Oh, no, honey. Yeah. They don't do velvet. And I like some melted velvet. But it's fine, but it's not as good as the Melting Potten. They have all these different choices. Really? Yeah. And they have chocolate ones, and then maybe we're going to host the episode of the Radcast there. We'll, we'll, we'll be filming the fondue being made. Yeah, there we go. Just like strings of cheese coming up. It's just like my, my reaction video. Chocolate, I'll ever, I get like on your nose and be like my beard. I hope so. I hope so too. It's National Pet Day on Monday. Pet Day. Oh, so hug your dog. Also pet day. Yeah, siblings. The day before is hug the dog and pet day overall. Pet day overall. Yeah, marvelous, Mr. Marshall. He has like 170 followers now. See? That's, that's what he's talking about. Yeah. More than Nick has. He's doing great though. He's doing great. That's good. He's in the pilot. He's in the pilot. He's in the pilot. I got so excited. Nick's also in the pilot. Yeah, Nick is in the pilot. That was a very, I love to see him with sunglasses. Oh, in the, uh, yeah. It was like, I can't be, oh. Right when things went to hell. Yeah. Spoilers. Spoilers. Uh oh. Oh, yeah. Conflict. I thought Nick was excellent though. And finally, April 12th, one of my favorite days of the year. There's some, there's a little bit of controversy whether it's the 12th or the 13th. It's National Grab Astay. Sure it is. My wife's talking to me. I'm sure that I'm promoting this because she's a middle school assistant principal and it calls it's going, oh, no, because a lot of, you know, kids like take this to heart and, you know, I'll tell my son. I'll tell my son. Yeah. Grab that. Yeah. Uh, there's a lot of, a lot of middle school girls going to be upset with that day. Inboys. Yeah. And boys. Yeah. And boys and teachers maybe even you never know. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Oh, oh, grab a pet's ass day. Yes. Just the next day after that. And there you have it. We're going to move straight into, let's move straight into trends in the metaverse. Getting to the real news here folks. Is it back to the old? Yeah. Oh, Nick. Is that the boy? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, is it? Oh, I like it. It's better. It's better that way. It's more iconic. I think so. All right, this is, these are for trends in the metaverse that you can't miss. Metaverse, Web3, NFTs. We're lumping it all together, even though I know they're different. Crypto, trading to move to the metaverse is developer-focused study. A new study shows that developers believe that the metaverse may become the most popular way to buy and sell crypto someday. The study surveyed 300 developers thoughts and ideas about the metaverse. Since they will be positioned on the front lines of practically every development that takes place in the metaverse their thoughts and opinions ultimately carry a great deal of weight. These are important people in the metaverse. In real life, in metaverse. Yes, the sure he shows that 57% of developers believe that metaverse will someday be the most prominent way to trade crypto. But they also believe the biggest challenge will be privacy and security. Yeah. Oh, oh. The biggest challenge. It is. Across the board, really. Yeah, so we'll be using the metaverse. We'll be going into putting our goggles on, going into the metaverse. Yeah, to trade. That or maybe if you're going to do on roadblock or something, I don't know. So why, though? Because it's already pretty easy to buy crypto. This makes sense, though, because I just think of them as such comparable entities, forms. I don't know. It's like, well, yeah. Of course, it would be the most efficient way to buy cryptocurrency in the metaverse. I guess it's just like the half that like, let's let's use Facebook as a prox. This pretend Facebook becomes, it's already meta, I'm sure. The presented Facebook becomes meta. Great question. Follow me along. I'm really going out on a limb here. Great prediction. But it becomes a virtual world. Yeah. You know, and having to go into said world to trade crypto, and maybe there's some, we're missing a step here. But like, it's just like you said, like, let me just open an app and buy some fucking cryptocurrency. Yeah, totally. Open Coinbase and just buy crypto. Yeah, I can see. You're seeing. So I don't know. We'll see. Starbucks. Starbucks. Oh, there we go. Starbucks. You used all bucks. You used all out. I'd hope you pat it. I did. Starbucks. Starbucks coffee. Sure. We'll enter the metaverse beginning this year. CEO confirms the billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of Starbucks. Howard Schultz announced an open forum that the company is planning the inner the NFT business before the end of the year. Even Starbucks has the best tools and collections to move into the new ecosystem says Schultz. You know, believe me, you did. So, you know, everybody wants, you want some caffeine? I want some real shit, you know? I need some coffee. Yeah. You know, like, I get that there could be some collectibles. There could be some VIP experiences. Some little mugs. But like, I want some real coffee. I agree with you. I agree with you. I agree with you. Give me some coffee, some caffeine, and one of those like breakfast sandwiches. Let's do those egg bites. Those egg bites are good. They're pretty good, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Greer. Yeah, that right. Hey, that was great. Hey, yeah, sometimes I'm on it. It's something not. Mostly, mostly not. But it's but, uh, yes, Starbucks is entering the the NFT world this year. Good, good for them. Happy for them. I'm surprised they haven't already to be honest. Yeah, it's a very Starbucks thing to do. Yeah, it does. Along those lines, Coca-Cola is launching its latest weird soda flavor in the metaverse. Okay. Can you taste it there? That's the question. That's the question. All right, here we go. Coca-Cola announces a new new flavor from its Coca-Cola Creations department. Apparently, inspired by gaming. I say that because it's called Zero Sugar Bite. BYP, that's the new flavor. Why would it need to be zero sugar in a place with like no calories? Well, it's an actual flavor. Oh, okay, okay. But it's it's launching within the metaverse. Again, we're really, we're really connected to dots here. Specifically fortnight is where it will be launching before it appears in physical form in May. So you're going to see this on fortnight. Maybe with your avatar. Maybe you can have a Coke Coke Zero bite in fortnight. The beverage dispenser is working with gaming organization. PWR in the creation of pixel point. A custom island built in fortnight creative. I don't know if that's my son about that. So many words. We'd love to get it. He does fortnight. Those who enter pixel point can partake of many games that are themed around so to brand. That when asked about what it tastes like, the company describes it as having the flavor of pixels. So pop rocks. Yeah, or like aluminum foil. Oh, right. Static. I don't know. Foam would be foamy. Do we think? I don't know. What do you think it tastes like? I'm I'm into like a rainbow. Like what I hear pixels and I know they're saying like P.I. eggs, he yells. I went to pick like Pixie sticks. Pixie sticks. What doesn't like pixels to me would be inherently crunchy. Don't ask me why. I would think yeah. Yeah. But rainbow something. Maybe it's all these different colors. Skittles. Blue red green. Could be that would be it fruity. Then co-brand. What did you call me? Look, the reality is all these media companies and these, you know, Coke, Starbucks, whatever. This is a trend. It may become reality like full-time reality. Not just trending. And so thus all these kids, all these eyeballs, adults included are playing fortnight, playing robocs doing these things. It's the new channel for which to gain awareness. That's all that's going on here. We've got all these big words. But let's dumb it down for myself and everyone else. This is like the new place to get attention for your brand and everyone's kind of grabbing on, you know. Land grab in the metaverse. Sure. Not ask grab. Yeah. Well, that's later this week. Yeah. As long John Silver's got an NFT going on. That, that, that I will buy. Yes. That I will get some of those crunchies. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. The little popcorn. Which place? Oh, yeah, dude. Oh, yeah. We get down on that all day. Yeah. Hush puppies. So now we're going to connect taste in the metaverse. You know, like are we going to be eating with the goggles on or are we going to be like, hmm. You'd have to connect scent to it. Yeah. Right. The sensory, almost, almost. That's going to be the next frontier. Sensory connection to the metaverse. It's like the sparkling eyes and the ears. Right now, size and ears. Sure. But taste and heart smell. And taste and heart smell. That's well. Oh, congratulations. Very wisdom of us of you. I thank you. I watch it every day. Yes. For three hours. Now this got my attention. This thing is important to you. It's so new. No. Now, sorry. Read my lips. No, observed. You can drive this Lamborghini to Mars in the metaverse. The Mars house is with Aoki. Can conjures up to describe his newest project. A Web 3 collaboration with the automaker. Today, they're in really the world's first NFT ever to be auctioned with a physical super sports car. The last ever to be made in the coupe series of Lamborghini's Hollywood, Revered, Aventador's, Aventador's, which looked like silver bullets on wheels, except they're usually red, blue or yellow. When it's, this is way too many words. In other words, you get an NFT when you buy a, you know, I'm half a million dollar Lamborghini and you can drive it to Mars in the metaverse. Sure. So you buy the car and then you get the right to the NFT to drive the NFT car to Mars in the metaverse. That's what it sounds like, Christina. Interpreting my shirt, but it's totally worth it now. I just, All right. Totally worth it. It is. If you could afford a Lamborghini, I mean, then you could probably, you're probably buying an NFT. Probably already have some NFT. And board apes. And so, whatever. It's a weird thing. It's so creative. It's like, is it an incentive? If you're going to buy a Lamborghini, you're going to buy a Lamborghini. I don't think they're like doing a lot of month end events or whatever you're going to get. Right. No financing. Right. Lamborghini is on. Like, you're going to buy it. Right? Yeah. Free NFT with every person. Right. Oh, I'm definitely getting it. Oh, so that was the deciding factor. It was on the spot. But it's not driven by, uh, I don't know, sales and getting it. Right. It's more driven by, I need a Lamborghini today to look cool. You're not going down there because they have balloons and like Papa John's pizza sit down. You're already going to do it. Yeah. Oh, Lord. Oh, boy. What are you doing? Of course. Oh, breaking it. Breaking it. Yeah, moving on. That's fine. Chipotle. Chipotle. Chipotle lets Roblox players roll virtual burritos into real food. There you go. Chipotle's second custom experience on Roblox. Points to how marketers early attempts on the metaverse could evolve going forward to deliver value for consumers and a strong cost server with the real world. The new activation ties in game activities for real world food. In a way that delivers on some of the promise of the metaverse, which is quickly emerged as a favorite digital landscape in which marketers can engage with young consumers, which is what I was just saying. By letting Roblox players roll burritos and earn in-game currency that can be turned into entry codes on the chain's digital platforms. Chipotle is bridging the divide between the real and virtual worlds and providing value to consumers. It feels like Wonka vision. It can really Wonka when he sends the chocolate bar. That's what this reminds me of. A little bit. You know? There's a little bit like that too. Hey. Hey. A. Ice connection. I want to know if you can fail roll the burrito. Like if it'll screw up. Too many ingredients. Edge, how did I not know? You get to pay more for your burrito. Yeah, you only get to pay negative code. Or would you walk and be like, I didn't roll it like that. That's not what I, that wasn't how I did it. Yeah, let me jump back there. Sorry. Can I be like Mr. Do like you're making the burgers. Remember the arcade game? Yeah, the lettuce. You got to get it in order. Like cheese. What was that, what was that? What that Mr. Do? Yeah, I think it was. Burger chef. There's one called burger chef, maybe. Gentlemen, you're dating yourselves. Good arcade game. Excellent. Shut up. There was a webcam game that sounded similar back in my day. Oh, yeah. But you get in on-roll blocks. You go into the Chipotle and you start rolling the burrito. Roll your extra burrito. And if you don't bust it, you'll get a good discount. Hey, that's not bad. Do you have to feel like HR paperwork in the manifesto? You're like, hopefully not. You have an interview and like, oh god. They've got a medical layer. Dental, dental? That's, that's pretty cool. That's pretty cool promotion. It's kind of fun. Yeah, it's fun. I like anything on roadblocks now. Because I like to watch my kids play. I like the whole thing. Adidas goes sci-fi with personality-based metaverse avatars. Uh-oh. In the latest example of a consumer brand embracing the metaverse, Adidas originals builds on previously introduced Futuristic ethos for its Oswald collection with a new digital experience that allows consumers a deeper interaction with the brand. That's a lot of words. Adidas originals a subdivision with a broader athletic wear behemoth. That's home to collaborations with designer celebrities and more. It allows you to further promote self-expression and style experimentation. Sure. Said ethos in there somewhere. A personality-based avatar? Yes. Yes. Curious. You can really, you don't call it self-expression. It's very, it's very done just in drag and z. Yes, self-expression and style experimentation. Two words I love. Was that forward? I don't know. Two ideas. I get a lot of stuff from Adidas. Yeah, like a lot of stuff from Adidas. Because I bought a bunch of Yeezy's back in the day. By the way, there's a new drop coming out. It looks pretty good. They're the zebra looking ones, whatever. Okay. Yeah. And we go to that Adidas factory. Factory island. Yeah, yeah. Some shoes there. Yeah. It's an awesome, so I get, yeah. I get a ton of emails, notifications. And it's that, what'd you say it was? The creators, one of the Oswald collection. Or Adidas originals? Originals, yeah. Yeah, a ton of that. So I should probably look closer at it. You need to go into your personality-based metaverse avatars. Yeah. Probably be like a block. It's just like taking the, uh, what's the, uh, breaks Meyer? What's it? Mine is breaks. Yeah. Any a gram on that crap? Yeah. Yeah. We really have to get into the metaverse. Yeah, I'm going to start like filling in the bubbles. Like, uh, she had virtual bubbles. Yeah, I'm like, red for trash. Red for trash. I don't know that one. Yeah. Made some of that. All I got to say is with these brands, like make it, make it so we, we can all understand what the hell you're doing. You know, get your PR people to like, you know, call us, use some real words here. Yeah. Right. That's, that's dumbed down with it. Like I said, ethos was in there somewhere. Right. And I'm not sure that lots of ethos, lots of other things. But it's like a student trying to reach a word count on a paper. Like, furthermore, therefore, in conclusion to, as I was saying previously, just to state the thing. This is interesting. Moving out of. Trends in the metaverse. I can. Miller Lite is emphasizing its taste with new beer flavor drops. So that. Haha. So this is really. This is a choice. I like this quite a bit. Miller Lite obviously always talks about how great tastes less filling. Hey, I remember they're, they're the hackline. Obviously, that we just ate ourselves big time. Big time. Do you know how it tastes? I know I couldn't drink them. But they out, but they're pretty much promote that they have, you know, a light beer lower cars. And but they actually still have beer flavor, which at 10 degree they do. And that most beers taste like water, right? Ultra and how dare them talk about ultra that way. I write on that. But yes, I was not next. I still haven't tried that. But now it's taking its approach to the next level. Creating a liquid product that makes other like beers tastes like Miller Lite with the beer drops. Yep. I like this. What this is a great idea. This is so smart. Is it like a malt or what is that? I don't know. But I just like it quite a bit. It's a market play and just playing up. I mean, I assume you could put them in other things too. Yes. Are you could, you know, like you were begging, but I bet I don't know if you want like, I would want like my soda. It tastes like beer. I want to be like baking. Like if you make bread, you know, sure. Something like that or a marinade. What if you put it into a Miller Lite? Would it like explode? Flavor, it's too much explosion like you die. Ah, that's too much. Too much. Oh my goodness. I like it. It's sparkling water. That could be something. Calm down. You can have a lot of fun experientially with this play. Obviously, sure. Like having, you know, like pop ups and no alcohol in it, right? Yeah. Is it just flavor or is there? It's just flavor. Just flavoring. Yeah, shoot it. Because you drink it for the taste. Yeah. Yes. Shopping reinvented. L'Oreal is impulse sales on TikTok. Is your impulse sales from TikTok? Are you there? It's super fun. If there are, it's in the cosmetic community. Yes. Selling on TikTok is fast, becoming an important, as important for marketers as advertising on it. Just ask L'Oreal. It's gone from letting fans purchase certain products from brand pages to sponsoring one of the biggest trends on the app. Hashtag TikTok made me buy it. Yeah. Is that the thing? Yes. I don't know that one. There. There's these Hashtag to show off purchases they've made because of something they saw in the app. And I know, like with, I mean, obviously my algorithm is going to be a lot of cosmetics. But if it's talked about on TikTok, it is sold out everywhere. I mean, it is insane, especially if it's a drugstore product and it's a more affordable price point, it's gone. It. And I was thinking like, I live in Greenville, surely not. And I mean, gone. Yeah. The drugstore is targets. It's ridiculous. They don't have this. This is very smart. For males, I don't feel like, not really. I don't mean like some, you know, axe deodorant or something. Yeah, but a guy's not like, hey, this smells just like deorcivage, but it's so much cheaper, where it's, you know, a little bit different. If I had a nickel for every time I said that, I will say I've made a recipe off of TikTok. Yeah. So, but that's, I don't think I've ever seen anything on the world. I've got programs and stuff. I don't, I haven't bought like a merch. I bought something off Instagram that I saw, but that was like a brand in like, was it worth it? I don't have it yet. Ah. So yeah, so I made a little bit of a mistake. So there's a show I like. It's a little, yeah. It's, please go on. My wife was very happy. There's a show I like is called People Just Do Nothing. I think I've talked about this before. It's a British show. Yes. It's about these guys have a pirate radio station. They just put out a movie. It's called Big In Japan. Guys, look at that. No fucking way. But I bought a shirt and it was like, I think 1999 and then $15 of the shipping or whatever. But guess what was not next to that is a dollar sign. So what was next to it was either pounds or euros or something. And so that was about a $50 t-shirt above. You do have a lot of t-shirts. Yeah, that one hurts a bit more. It goes up. Yeah, I didn't think about that. You got pounded. I did. Right. Right in the wall. My wife was like, hey, did you buy something for $50? I was like, oh, shit. I guess. Guess so. Yeah, I just got tracking on it. Say it's coming from England. Oh, wow. I'll wear it. It's not even that. Next week fancy with t-shirt. I don't even know if I'll have it by next week. It's true across the pond. True. So yeah, thanks everybody for watching Radcasts. Cool story, bro. Cool story. The good reaction. Thanks guys. I do like this. Netflix actually added a short ass movie category. I saw that. I sure saw that. So good. Netflix added a short ass movie category in response to Pete Davidson's SNL ood to movie shorter than an hour and 30 minutes. That was very funny. Netflix quoted this SNL rap on Twitter, casually saying, good idea. And linking to the new short ass movie category on Netflix. That's a funny. Did you see the? I didn't see there isn't. It was so funny. It's a lot of funnest stuff in there. I think Simon Rex maybe is in it at the end. Okay. So yeah, I like it. Good times. I'm full of fucking great stories. This is going great. It is a short ass movies is they have the the We Man documentary in there because he's. It says not so tall. I said, I get to do land or death at a funeral Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Midnight in Paris and a whole lot more. I love Midnight in Paris. It disappointedly lacks some of the titles mentioned in the SNL skit like driving Miss Daisy, the Lion King and others. Ernest, they named like five of the Ernest movies. Ernest goes to camp. This is Ernest and the Army. Those movies are so good. So good. I used to go see him when I was a kid all the time. All the time. Oh, weird. He was actually from Lexington, Kentucky. Jim Varney. Yeah, makes me some of his name. Maybe some skinny boy. I knew who I'm taking the trivia next time. I'll go. Look, I love trivia. Don't play with my heart like that. I'll follow the trivia. Go trivia. I'm gonna hold you to it. All right. Hold you to it. Lastly, Hulu taps emerging artists from across the globe to reimagine its classic logo. Independent creators from every corner of the world were given free reign by the streaming tightened Hulu to come up with their own takes on the brands. Classic lime green logo. It's just like why? Yeah, it's just like lowercase letters, right? In the lowercase. Yeah, green. If it's already an icon. This is where I struggle sometimes with rebranding. Like at what point, if it's an icon, why is this Hulu need a rebrand? I guess so. Is that their problem? I like Hulu. I do too. Yeah, that's cool. Hulu. New season of Atlanta's out on Hulu. Yeah, yeah, excellent. It's a great show. I've never watched Atlanta. It's really good. It's very different. It's excellent. Donald Glover. Childish Gambino. I do like Childish Gambino. You do. That's what I fucking said, right? He was agreeing with you. Oh, my God. Oh, I'm breaking things. Problems. Yeah, I don't, I like crowd sourcing and the notion of what they're doing here. Yeah. The need and purpose is a little unclear. Totally. Other than just doing it. It's a neat idea. I don't like, like Bob's Burgers did an episode where they had a bunch of different people draw it and a bunch of different styles. Like each scene was different. It was just like, it was cool, but it was like, I don't know what the episode is about. Sure. It's distracting. So story free. Yeah, there you have the stories of the week. Can you find a words? Christina, I got nothing. I think I've said plenty. Yeah, so many stories. All that there is to say. Rividing. Hey, don't forget, folks, burnabills, burnabills.com, new radcast hats.
