Ajahn Mahā Dam's Biography:

Ajahn Mahā Dam Prommasan (พระอาจารย์มหาดำ พรหมสาร) was born in Savannakhet, Laos and ordained as a novice monk at age nine. At age fourteen, he traveled to Ubon, Thailand to further his studies at Wat Phitsopārām (วัดพิชโสภาราม), later continuing his studies in Bangkok where he would complete the eighth of nine levels of Pāli Proficiency. In 2016, he moved to Wat Lao Buddha Khanti in Snellville, Georgia, where he now serves as head monk. At the end of last year, Ajahn Maha Dam joined Bhante Paññākāra's Walk for Peace tudong. While on this walking pilgrimage near Houston, Texas, he was struck by a vehicle, resulting in injuries so severe that his leg had to be amputated. Despite the profound physical trauma and the loss of his limb, he continues his life as a monk with a heart free of grievance, embodying the very peace he set out to share with the world.

his leg had to be amputated despite the

the world
i wanted to begin sort of your story and
asking about it just with the moments of
faith that and you know we get to the
full scope of recent events and all that
soon but really honoring your path to
robes first would you tell us about the
moments of faith that led you to become
a novice at age n and what kept you in
robes
since then
pray respect ພະອາຈານ both ພະອາຈານ and
honestly
when I decide to become a
first of all I don't know about the monk
like before but I I just pray with my
pray on the ground with my mom my mom he
she she she she pray she work and I pray
on the ground by myself and the own and
he
my relative he come and he asked me he
asked my my mom to he said this this boy
can can play with them he can become a
nois then he he ask he asked me do you
want to become a nois i just say yes and
you know that moment I just seven years
and i very small small small small small
small small body
my mom not allow me to become a
then I wait two
years waiting two years and become among
and after in he ask me I think about the
become a noise but but I don't know any
precep of the mon you know just one just
one thing is no no dinner
>> ອອ
to Thailand when you were 14. Is that
correct?
>> Yes. Yes. I I become a
sarawan sarawan province in my in my
country.
and
th we
when iອ
14 i went to thailand
to study inam
you spoken about at age 14 a second
birth your bir as a monk
why do you think of that moment as your
second birth
because
honestly when I become in you know we in
L we don't have the the Buddhist school
we have Buddhist school but just no more
common Buddhist school but no no
practice more no more practice
meditation
and no more teach about Buddha teaching
you know just learn ລະກະແລະກະ
no more no more kid al right but we just
have the subject about bu buddha story
and vaya is something like that but not
deep but when i
move toວam
thailand
i study and every
every the holiday
We seing we practice meditation and we
changing every day changing everyday
every morning you know that's why when I
learn about Buddha teaching is a very
very ລະກະ I I know is a very I have the
ລະກະ life when I study deep and I I ລະກ
I I born again with with the
ອ່າອອງພໍ່หลวงພໍໃຫຍ່
did you find it difficult I mean just
being 14 leaving your country leaving
your family leaving your language the
written script is not the same as thau
in northeast thailand is similar to la
but was it difficult for you at such a
young age to adapt without many
For me is a language is difficult for me
I can understand them they talk they
speak in in inธ right but it's difficult
for me to spell the the Thai language is
very difficult for me and I try
about f four f or si months
Then I I try to to write the story about
what in in English about write the ກະຖູທ
poem
poem not po the just give the ລະກະທຳມະກ
about
disgy gu aboutສີ
right we just this gu ອືຮື one oneພ
Mm.
It's very difficult.
So in the midst of that what kept you
there I mean at that time everyone else
your age most of them are you know going
off and getting girlfriends and
exploring the world and at a monastery
and what kept you in robes
all that period
yeah what sustained you
>> when I study in ພາມ my mind is a very
very very calm I think is and I I very
proud of the the monk life I in my mind
if I stay in the pisam
long time is I cannot
this lop I I never think about the least
lope in when I stay in the ວັດພิພາາມ
about
maybe five years five years but it's
very
we live ລະກະ family
the the the is like our father right and
the teacher or teacher like our brother
to they can take care we can take care
each other is a very I feel home ແລະກະ
my home that is a everything we we do
everything in the the all teacher
keeping eye on us to tell us what the do
the best thing or bad thing yeah
that's that's make me
don't think about the this l when i stay
in the pisam it's very
very for me yeah and very thankful to to
to i choose the the right page for me
so you move to
You have learn become familiar with that
and then you decide to leave this
comfort zone and move to Bangkok to
study the poly scriptural language
further and I studied the I did three to
egg the three levels and but I started
the poly level And it was much more
difficult. But you studied up to level n
level eight. Level eight. Did that did
it take you eight years and what was
that transition like leaving youve left
one place of comfort for another and
what is that like
it's no more life of the student student
mon when we
live in countryide we have to move to
the Bangkok you know in countryside we
we just have study for my
my temp own tempo they have level that's
why when i finish level 5 i looking
i looking for the next level that's why
ive to the bank but i don't in my my
mind i i still want to stay in the in
the ພ my own temple but i have to move
because i want to study more and get
more level
when we finish every year finish study
we have to go to the
meditation course for night day everyday
and I learn about
medit pain meditation is very
it's very help me a lot when I learn
about pain meditation is just your focus
on the on your on your pain which point
is a is strong pain it's very helpful
and I use
that pain meditation when I got hit to
it's a very pain because I have to focus
and I I tell myself that you
you can use what you learn before right
now
yeah it's a good time for youuse the
your knowledge right Yeah.
Could you say more about the pain
meditation? I think many Americans are
not used to that. They used to breath
meditation, maybe a mantra, but actually
focusing on pain. How do you do that?
But keep your upright and not push away
the pain.
meditation is mean you are focusing
normally
when you are setting meditation is you
focusing on your breeding in and
breeding out rightasti
but when you are seat long time you your
you will pain your leg some your knee
your
your bottom right but you have to focus
which part of your pain is stronger some
some people pa ລະກະບອລກ back pa back
when they sit ອ if you if you pain you
just focus a very very focus ແລະກະ
which which part
is stronger you just focus on that and
just knowing just knowing of serving
that pain pain pain
and ແລະກະ use pain to
ລະກະ use pain is the method right to
method to practice my fullness yeah
is a for me is a very helpful and i like
pain meditation because in normal when i
sitting meditation i always sleep you
know i to sleep i don't want me to sleep
some when i sit i just looking for the
some seat is the ລະກະ heart heart and
seat over over top the the heart seat
and sit is a make me feel pain and i
don't i don't sleep
yeah
i want to
you know actually this is a goodway and
i think we can return to more of your
your general path but you spoke about
how you used pain meditation during the
accent
Can you talk about about the accident
and what that was like for you
and your experience of those those
moments and the time leading up to it
for the death accident
for for myself I think about accident
before I I went to joy ອອາຈານປັນຍາລະ
because first time ອາຈານປັນຍາລະ invited
me to join and many people my friend my
people in the temple they always
try to stop they don't allow to joy with
the walk peace but in my mind when I
I don't ກະ when I study in Thailand I
always think about I want to join with
the group of to walk to right
but I don't have time I already study
but I stay here and າກະ
ask me I just oh it's a good time and in
my mind is a scare to because I know is
a is gonna happen you
Maybe accident maybe I I don't know
because we walk beside the road but
I ອ I ລະກອາຈານບັນຍາກາລະອ
me ລະກະ his sound his voice isລກ in in
all my my always in in my in my head
about
Joy we walk together first time in the
United States walk for peace
And I the he said is write the history
together. He said like that but I ລະກະ I
always think about I want to do
something for Buddhism for many many
people but I don't know how you know but
when I think about the walk for peace he
invited me I just decide to to go with
him even I know is a I know is a is a
dangerous and very rich but
If my is g die by accident I stay in the
temple at the temple I will g die by
accident to yeah that's why I
die on the when I walk is a I die with
the my work my job to spread the Budha
teaching I I think like that that's why
I I joy I join him and I got accident
Could you tell us a little bit about the
lead up to the accident? It was outside
of Houston maybe a bit after 7 pm. How
long had you been walking before
before that day that the accident
happened?
I I join the the group
on
November 11
when between Austin and Huson and I when
I join them and they continue to walk to
Houston and we stay in the Houston
couple
and we almost outside and on
November 19 we out of the host in dat
Texas
that's why the police just left us left
us when we walk in the host we have the
police escort
Yeah. But when we out of the hus the
forest just left us that day and that
day is normally I I walk in the middle
of the monk but that day is I very very
pain my my leg very pain is a and I just
I don't want to go to with the car you
know but I want to train train myself I
just walk just I walk slowly but I
cannot follow the the mark I just walk
slowly and the we have the one escort
car just our our car our car but not
police car but they have the the light
ລະກະ signal
to escort just follow but
that day is almost
seven
That's a little bit dark but we wear we
wear the light yeah and
I just walk and focus on my pain focus
on my pain my step and just I I just
heard the the sound of break car break
and just hit me and I cannot do anything
I just but my fullness is very very
strong I very very proud of myself ລະກະ
why that that moment I I I thought I I
die already but I think oh now I'm die
already but but I very proud and in that
moment I die with my fullness yeah I I
die with my fullness but then just
everything is a s ແລະກະ come and I I
heard my ear is a just heard many people
come and talk about what happen is who
who laid down is the talk and oh I still
alive but that moment
I always think about even I stay alive
now but I
every time because of my my pain I don't
know is my my body is a
ແລະກະ bad accident you I just I can die
every time that's why I only focus I I
just push anything in my life ແລະກະ push
away think about only focusing on my on
my breeding breeding in and breeding out
and focus on my pain
only I think
only breeding is can can help
My fullness it can help me nothing can
help me the object in be
outside of me right you know ແລະກະ
family ກະ friend I don't think about
anyone I just focusing on on on on my
breeding that's it
do you use a mantra with your breath
like budd
no Just the breath no
>> no just breath just breading just
knowing and breeding for me is when I
practice
in
pis I use a ພອງຢູບ it's about my
movement stomach movement was make me
sleepy and when I use phot I always when
I focus I I focus but but but my ລະກະ my
pto is ລະກະກ່ອນລະກະ ກະ I don't I don't
ກະ follow the
you know I just focus on feeling that's
that's why I I don't
mon
I don't
put just knowing breeding in and
breeding out that's it
thank you so much for describing this
and with such car
and I'm curious why did you you know why
did you feel
as monk so
you know that you thought you might be
dying to keep mindfulness so strong why
why is important at that moment for
those listening
because when the
the buddha said the buddha said
ສັງກິລິເທທຸກຄະຕິ
mean when You almost die if you if your
mind ອາ
not clear not be mindful you will bor in
the bad plate ລະກະ the the hell animal
something like that and that's why is
very important before we die we have to
clear clear our our mind ລະກໍ be stay be
mindful be aware of everything some
for for the for the buddha teaching if
you focusing more focusing maybe you can
get enlighten that moment is very very
important to to practice but no no more
people many many people don't don't
think about that that moment right and
in my mind you cannot
you cannot practice
that moment without your practice in
normal life you know because it you got
very very pain very failing sometimes
you feeling about you think about your
family you think about your money work
your everything in come to your head but
but you cannot focus only on your
breathing in and breeding out for me I
can focus on breathing in and ເນາະ
because I practice many many times in
daily life right
ລະກະ
I I teach people many many time about
when you are train to swim train to swim
you can train when you beside the river
you can train everyday right but when
you are right the boat the boat sink you
can you can you can swim two you cannot
train your train to swim when you when
the boat sink right you don't have time
to to train yourself that moment
is a
for for people who are dying who maybe
you know it's in a different situation
where their breath is actually hard to
focus on you know maybe they havingory
isses What would you recommend they they
put their mindfulness on for
practitioners who are looking to that
moment but won't have the breath?
You can focus on on pain on pain or on
ອກ on your body on your body on maybe on
on your mind yeah you can you can use
the many many object to to be method of
meditation but is a I I think is the
when the people g die they got the same
same thing is the pain right they very
very pain they have to focusing on on
the pain too because it's very strong
very strong is you just focusing on the
pain don't follow don't follow the pain
when you focus on the pain is pain is
not go down not go back but your you
your you know is how it work what is the
pain what is the exactly pain just
knowing
inພາວະຄວາມ
state state state of pain just state of
pain could you talk a little bit more
about the pain that you were feeling so
you were hit by this car on the ground
the first thing that you your mind
decides to do is to watch the breath and
to look at the pain
Wor ever was there no pain or did it
change and what what was the pain like
immediately after getting hit and then
over the next while when you had to go
to the hospital in the ambulance
first time I I pain very pain of my my
right Lake because is my light leg is a
more more sketch right
>> impact or
to scratch right scratch that's when
when the the scratch
touch the the ground it's very very pain
but in my left left left left leg is I
fa I only I
ມັນເປັນມຶນໆນະມື
num to
>> is num only num is on my left on my left
leg that's i in my mind i thought is the
right right right leg is very very bad
than the left leg
yeah but when the when when the
ambulance man they fix the they they
turn me the turn me
turn me over right turn over I just know
is my is very very bad because very very
pain and
my I lost
a lot of brush
my brush yes that's they they give me
the morphin morphine is very I wedding
long time for for wedding for the
helicopter you
took me to the ambulance and I laid out
on the ambulance and I think why they
they stay but they don't move to
go to hospital but they call to the
helicopter
that they say if I write on the
ambulance I cannot
I gna die because I lost my my brush and
I very pain.
When when I
get into the helicopter,
I always ask my I always asked a woman
he sit beside me and I asked her can you
give me the pen pa pen medicine?
He said not. I I don't kill you because
you got enough ເດ no in my mind I just I
just ask her only I want friend to talk
me
because it's very I my body is shing he
asked me are you call no I'm not cool
but I I'm shaking my body is shaking
yeah
you know after the accident
in terms
amput
learning
coming and how holding
for for me I think I do the best the
best thing I do the best thing for for
all the people for Buddhaສາ right we i
ອາຈານປັນຍາ in the morning ອ when God ex
at night in the morning ອາຈານປັນຍາລະ
came and
the
old of mon came and they very very
suffer about this accident but I just
ask them ອາຈານປັນຍາ he don't want me to
He think about my my reputation.
He don't want to He don't talk about
accident even the news many news come to
him and he worry about my my
reputation you know I just told him
ອາຈານ please
can you spread the this this your your
project every your project to to
ກະ other people to know from from
accident
you use my I don't I I don't have any
ລະກະ reputation ລະກະ any anything
anything to lose you know I don't have
everything to use just use my case to
spread your project every your project
you do I always support you I and please
walk to DC even I cannot walk with you
it's a very but very very touch We we
talk with with Yeah. But in my in my
mind I think is a I do the the the good
thing ແລະກະ I thought before ແລະກ the
the good good good thing best thing for
for Buddhism for community right but now
I can even I lost my leg I think is a
it's okayok even my my life is a is a to
I think yeah that's why I I don't feel
ກະ don't feel bad about the accident
we just honor that you thank you
speaking about that heard you say in a
interview that you wanted to offer your
leg as a Buddha puja buha
and that so that's a polyphrase like a
devotional act to the Buddha could you
more about that is
most Americans even if they know
meditation and a little bit of Buddhism
this phrase Buddha puja it just doesn't
mean anything to them so how do you give
your leg as Buddha puja
when the when you do something is very
important to the world or to the to the
spread the Buddha teach you if you can
dedicate yourself
ລະກະ if you dedicate yourself you
dedicate your offer your your object or
thing donation ແລະກະ donation you can
ແລະກະ when you donation is a we callະ
rightທານະ
but but if you donation is a very strong
ຖານະຖານະແລະກະ
your your offer ລະກະ whole of your life
holding of your life ລະກະ your you left
your you left your ອ personal ອ your
normal life to become a just mean you
are don't attach in anything that mean
we callະ
is we call is is strict very very strong
from from donation
donation but when you
offer
your your lim
to
to to to to to to work to help with the
for spread the Buddha teaching mean we
call the
third the second oneີ
is mean very very strong because your
your offer the your your people ແລະກະ
when your donate your body your ແລະກໍ
your ey your
your
kidney your yeah your donate your in
your your body
this mean becauseະອຸປະມີ
and when you offer your life to to
do the good thing that meanະລະ
ປາລະມີ is mean very high for practice to
become the Buddha or become ປະຕະพະຫັນຕະ
the who close the Buddha
ແລະກະສາລີບຸດຕະໂມຄະລານະອານັນທະ
disciple great disciple yeah that's why
I when I lost my leg with walk for peace
I in my I think I lost my leg for
ອາແລະກະ ຖານະອຸປະມີ
for offer to the buາ
very beautiful and that param or
spiritual perfection and what to is also
that many Americans will not have heard
of different levels there spiritual
perfection and then the even higher
spiritual perfection the highest and is
interesting in Buddhist countries I know
at least one monk who has donated
country number country people don
after death after death
on that of the i think kind of desbing
really helpful
kind
of limb
to this path.
How do you think about
gift of life going forward? Like what
your hope of how you how you want to
give your life to the Buddha over the
rest of your life? For for my for my
dislike, I will try every way and every
part of my life to help the the good
the Buddha the the Buddha teaching to
spread the Buddha teaching and to help
people to get more be mindful to
practice my fullness you know because
it's very very important in life mon
life we have to two to two job right you
can become a mon and you can study and
practice yourself and the second one you
your practice You didn't have time to
study and you only practice and when you
practice finish your practice you can
spread your the Buddha teaching to other
people dedicate yourself to the for
Buddhism that is among life me to I want
to
help the Buddhism
as much as I can I will do the best for
for my in my way I will do the
ທຳໃຫ້ດີທີ່ສຸດເທົ່າທີ່ຈະທຳໄດ້
do the best that you can I do the best
with I can I will do the best with my
canຮື
in manyes of your life you have been a
stranger so you go to Thailand and you
are Lausan and then you move to Bangkok
you are from the country and you move to
the big city and then you move from loud
Have you experienced
any racism people ever have you had to
deal with people looking at you as
something different?
For me, I my my purpose is I want to I
want to prove myself about I prove
myself about to help other people or
study right and I want to
my my job is I want to spread the Buddha
teaching and I hope everybody get and
get peace in a peace in in their mind
that's that's the the the place is not
important for me because I move everywh
and I don't I don't when I change I
change the place I think is a is
challenging for me I I think about the
sometimes you know when you stay in the
same same place you get ແລະກະve
right for me I I need I need to move the
other place to challenge my myself to
get to get better
kind of circling around your monastic
life and and that core of how you
dedicated your your life.
I'm curious just as to monks whove come
from the Thai forest tradition
which tha kruba ajans you love to listen
to the most long time mahabua long or
others can you just are there some
teachers which you stayed with you all
these years
I I always listen
ພະອາຈານລົງສົມພົບຫຼວງພໍ່ສົມພົບຢາ
I very very ລະກະ when when he talks
about
16 step of my fullness meditation is I
think is a very really I want to
practice like from theກະຕິະ
I want to practice like like the Buddha
teach te teaching and he
when he t he tals with experience not
from the from the books from the you
know from the tex and for me I I read I
learn about the Buddha teaching from the
book that's why I when he when he
thought I listen his time talk I think
is a his his his his way is a
ພາສາໄທວ່າຖູກຖູກກັບລິພະອາຈານ
right for your character ອື yeah is from
my character
ອາຈານ have you listen to any ofພ talks
in อีสานພາສາລາວ
>> I never never but when when I was nois
we listen every morning when we walk the
when we walk in the in the correct the
food
day ລະກະ
open the speaker in the village right
every every morning หลวงพ่อ
I have heard that his talks I have
listened to many of his talks in but I
don't understand la or isan but I hear
that hisan
language language talks are more fun he
more spicy
Maybe I will I will try to listen but I
never never never heard he talk he speak
never there maybe
of his talks in I think rec
on these kind of same notes of kind of
getting a little more of your kind of
proclivities
as a Buddhist monk I'm curious have you
been to pilgrimage in India
Never never
>> never I think about India and Nepal
Nepal I want to walk maybe I got the new
lake and I can walk I will walk in India
and nepal
so happy to hear that
you gave maybe the best answer that I
have heard in another interview about
the purpose of doing that pilgrimage
I
may
dc to ask the government to make visaka
puja a national holiday or something and
what what was your understanding of the
why what was the point of the walk for
peace
the the
ປັນຍາ
says is we just walk we just walk
for peace only for peace not only for
for other other things right
but but but for me is a ອ່າ I I heard
ອາຈານປັນຍາ talk about the he can he can
offer right
offer
วิสາบูชา
is important day in the tasະບ
day to become important day in
the united states i think is a
maybe I don't know is maybe can can
change can ລະກະ use the vakabus day to
become a
important day national
>> national national day
it's a good good idea but but but they
have many many religion you know is a is
a
practice is more important to to
push the day to National day practice
but now is many many American people
they want to practice they come to my
temple everyday everyday to learn about
how to practice meditation
and I try to teach them on Facebook like
everyday in English just a little bit
yeah how to practice is important then
then then
put
na day I love that
you for peace just for peace and I think
we interviewed panakara and his example
you know and the other monks who they
are living in a tough way you go toong
you go on this pilgrimage
it's cold you're walking in winter time
many monks walking without any shoes on
some of the monks May not
still
they are shining examples of happiness.
So an example of peace even though they
living hard still happy and you as well
like give this example of even though
you lost your leg hit by a car you're
not angry but just living the example of
peace walking for peace and you also
such a good exle
Yes. Yes.
On that note, Bante,
for others who are listening, whove lost
something, you know, who had to lose,
maybe it's a lim, maybe it's their
health, maybe it's someone they've
loved, maybe it's a job.
How would you tell them to
practice with that to not be resentful
to move on at least to hold it with kind
of equanimity? Just understanding
the the
nature of life or we in Buddhism we call
understanding the four noble to you feel
understanding your life and you can
accept everything and I told many many
people you I talk about the the
principle of
arrow suffering you know arrow suffering
when the arrow suffering hit you first
time that mean you are god your god
suffer the first time maybe from
accident maybe from something like you
lost your leg or you lost something in
you lost your lim or you very suffer
even the word people use the bad word
for you right that's your got the first
arrow arrow suffering your hurt like
first time but
later
first time you you got from from other
right for the arrow from other people
but then why you allow the second arrow
or many thousand of arrow to come to
yourself by yourself yeah
you think a lot you hate you are angry
that's mean you you are allow the suffer
arrow to your to your mind every time
yeah just just suffer one time is
referencing a beautiful su
on days ag on two ars where hit with the
first ar suffering all shoot ourselves
with the second arrow which is
unnecessary yes yes
one type of second arrow and third fth
fifth sixth which is very common in in
America is the second arrow of feeling
angry
Why did this happen to me? Mm.
Did you experience that kind of second
arrow? Were you ever angry at the driver
or angry the situation?
For me,
I don't angry because I don't know him
and I never I never miss him you know
meet I don't know his face and
and even I know his face and I know him
I I think is he g he don't
that happen because he I think I think
he suffer too you know when he you know
when the people hit the monks who for
peace I very they very very suffer I
think they very suffer that's why I
we don't know each other and why I have
to
angry with the aut
and and I I lost my leg is the bad thing
happen to me but the good thing is the
good thing happen to all the world you
know is that's why I sometimes I say
thank you to to him
the good thing referencing you mention
this is
after the accident like you said the the
walk for peace became a movement in a
whole different level I mean I remember
I about
from Texas but then I think after that
day you know there videos of thousands
of people and I know you said if I if
you know this was my gift to the walk
for peace was was losing this leg about
the the the anchor about the anchor
second arrow right about the anchor but
you know many many people
think about
angry some
many many years mean you are not anger
one time you know you just the the the
the same arrow just come to your mind
come to your mind many many time but you
think about that some some people don't
cannot sleep because they think about
that why they he hit me why they why
this happen to me but for me i think is
ອ
I have time to rest because when when I
walk is very very tired and very pain
and I I sleep three days I don't eat the
food you know just sleep
was a very very good less for me and I
don't think about that I told you I
don't think about the the angry and
about about him yeah the
John instead of the anger coming up
again I know youve talked about bright
mind states you know the the sense of
this being a gift I know the Kickstarter
campaign that started to help cover your
medical expenses I think0,000
or so came in through all this goodness
do you just have any reflections for you
know were there any stories
after the accident
For me, I think about I just feel about
myself to the people many people they
come and say thank you so much for your
for your sacrifice for your for your do
the best thing. I just ask myself what
do I do? I just got a car and I stay in
the hospital. But the two the two hero
is the the monk. He walk to the snow. He
walk to the the the
weather is very bad weather, right? But
they walk everyday. But I stay warm in
in the hospital.
That's why I I told I ask them why why
you
me ລະກະ hero for I example ລະກະ I am
soldier who lost the lim in the
battlefield but the all of mon who who
walk to the is hero ລະກະ general who won
the who won the war you
But me I I lost my leg. I don't do
anything I just walk day. I think like
that. Yeah. But I very touch when I get
back to my
temple. Many many people come even the
small small kid.
She come and she brow
and she say ພະອາຈານ I am so sorry the
accident happen with you. I I very sad
about that but I very happy to for you
to you can handle you can be happy with
it very touch my heart I cry.
Yeah, I never
heard the people talk to me like that
before.
Could you give an update about just
right now? Can you do you have your new
leg? Can you sit meditation? Do you have
to sit in a chair? Are you in a
wheelchair? And eventually
what is in the future? What is your hope
that you will just walk normal with a
prostatic leg?
Right. right now I think is a my my leg
is a still still the wound is complete
complete healing but is still pain
because pain pa pen pain pain but is
normal for for me is a i can sleep with
with this with with the pain you know
and i
now i use the the wheel chare
normal life and
I got the process
but still pain when I push on you know
when I push on to try to walk is a still
pain that's why I I use only one hour or
30 minutes for for one day
and the future
I hope to
work with prostatic lake ແລະກະ normal
people and I want to walk again to the
many many place I want to go
yes joh you you said that you feel like
you did very little for the cause
you know you walk for a few days but I
saw a video of you after the accident
and in this interview as well and just
your equanimity
and very powerful for people I was aff
and I just thank you for for that what
you have given all of us and I hope you
do walk for for peace through you know
India and beyond I hope you come visit
us and as our last question do you feel
inspired to get your own a loka the
peace dog
Now I I got the one dog to stay with me.
I I name him.
Yeah, he just come to the temple when I
I heard when I got accident in Texas and
I stay in the temple. They they told me
that the they have the dog they take
them to the temple
six dog but five dogs is a le but only
stay in the that temple
but
now when I went to join the retweet
meditation retweet he the the board
member of the buัทາธัม temple
They ask me do you want the the dog? I I
saw when I saw I I love him but yeah I
just I want to the buລ to stay just I
